00:00:35.720 Good Ranchers, American meat delivered.
00:00:37.580 At competing rallies in El Paso, Texas, President Trump rhetorically gelds poor Beto O'Rourke.
00:00:44.060 And the president is continuing to cut down his opponents as Democrats scramble after a particularly disastrous week.
00:00:50.960 What a time to be alive, and the 2020 race has just barely begun.
00:00:54.720 Then, do animals feel pain?
00:00:57.460 And finally, on this day in history, Reverend Henry Highland Garnett becomes the first black man to address the U.S. Congress.
00:01:04.200 We will remember his excellent sermon.
00:01:06.680 I'm Michael Knowles, and this is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:08.520 So much to get to today.
00:01:16.780 I wasn't supposed to be with you all today.
00:01:18.320 I was actually supposed to be on the road, but I was able to come back here to L.A.,
00:01:22.020 so I'm very glad because there is so much to get to.
00:01:25.420 I was in my hotel room in Atlanta last night.
00:01:28.200 I was about to go to bed.
00:01:29.300 We had a great time at Emory University.
00:01:31.180 And I came back, and I turned on the TV, and there was President Trump giving his El Paso speech, his El Paso rally, his El Paso wall rally.
00:01:42.300 He was so good, and I just thought, man, this guy is really good at politics.
00:01:47.360 Then down the road, poor little Beto could barely get anything going on.
00:01:50.620 He could barely be heard over the sound of Trump's superior rally going on a quarter of a mile away.
00:01:55.960 We will get to that in a second, but first, let's make a little money, honey, with Purple Mattress.
00:02:02.060 Purple Mattress is tremendous.
00:02:04.400 You know this.
00:02:05.200 I am an evangelist of Purple.
00:02:08.400 I'm a proselytizer of Purple.
00:02:09.940 It is the best bed that I've ever slept on.
00:02:12.380 Purple Mattress is not an inner spring.
00:02:14.840 It's not exactly a memory foam.
00:02:17.020 It's this new technology.
00:02:18.540 It was developed by a rocket scientist, and it is both firm and soft at the same time.
00:02:23.900 How is that possible?
00:02:24.580 I couldn't possibly tell you.
00:02:26.120 It just feels great.
00:02:27.680 I miss it every time I'm on the road.
00:02:29.700 I love it.
00:02:30.640 I've been recommending it to all of my friends.
00:02:32.300 You should check it out.
00:02:33.820 Purple Mattress also will sleep cool.
00:02:37.480 Sometimes beds just get really, really hot, even in winter.
00:02:40.240 Purple Mattress doesn't trap the heat like that.
00:02:42.580 You'll just love it.
00:02:43.700 100-night risk-free trial.
00:02:44.800 If you're not fully satisfied, you can return your mattress for a full refund.
00:02:47.600 Back by 10-year warranty.
00:02:48.720 Free shipping and returns.
00:02:49.640 Free in-home setup and old mattress removal.
00:02:51.740 You will love it.
00:02:52.380 Right now, my listeners will get a free purple pillow with the purchase of a mattress.
00:02:56.160 That's in addition to the great free gifts they're offering site-wide.
00:02:59.340 Just text COVFE, C-O-V-F-E-F-E-2-4-7-4-7-4-7.
00:03:05.060 That is the only way to get this free pillow.
00:03:07.120 Text COVFE right now.
00:03:08.500 Do it.
00:03:08.800 C-O-V-F-E-F-E-2-4-7-4-7-4-7.
00:03:12.340 C-O-V-F-E-F-E-4-7-4-7-4-7.
00:03:14.580 Message and data rates may apply.
00:03:18.080 This Trump rally was so good.
00:03:20.320 If you missed it, go back and watch the whole thing afterward.
00:03:23.460 He went on for over an hour.
00:03:25.280 The man has such stamina.
00:03:26.920 He both had a speech.
00:03:28.400 He was reading in parts from a prompter,
00:03:30.300 and then he would just go off on these Trumpian riffs that were so effective.
00:03:35.480 My main takeaway from it was that this guy is so surprisingly good at politics.
00:03:41.400 We should not be surprised by this anymore.
00:03:44.960 People were tweeting.
00:03:45.980 They said, oh, you know, he really is likable.
00:03:47.620 Oh, he really is somewhat charming.
00:03:49.460 And you think, oh, the guy who was a celebrity for 40 years
00:03:52.160 and then the king of television
00:03:53.400 and then got himself elected to the most important political office in the world on his first try,
00:03:58.480 that guy might be a little charming.
00:04:00.300 I think he is.
00:04:01.360 I think he's slightly charming.
00:04:02.920 You just forget it sometimes.
00:04:04.260 You forget it because the media tell you that he's some bumbling idiot
00:04:08.240 who doesn't know anything about politics.
00:04:10.880 He's never even heard of, I don't know, energy policy.
00:04:14.280 He doesn't even, what is the Congress?
00:04:15.440 He doesn't even know what the Congress is.
00:04:16.620 He's just a big bumbling fool who accidentally keeps finding himself in these incredible situations.
00:04:23.620 He's the Ferris Bueller of politicians, I guess.
00:04:27.320 You can tell he's really good at this political rally game,
00:04:30.900 and you can tell he's getting even better at it.
00:04:32.980 But here is the message that President Trump has found in recent weeks,
00:04:39.500 and he really needs to hammer home.
00:04:41.540 All Republicans should be hammering home on the wall.
00:04:44.200 This one cuts through all of the noise.
00:04:46.540 The biggest proponents of open borders are rich liberals and wealthy donors.
00:04:53.260 These are hypocrites who oppose security for you while living their entire lives.
00:04:58.680 I do, too, to be honest with you.
00:05:02.400 I'm guilty. I'm guilty.
00:05:04.900 I also live behind walls, okay?
00:05:07.800 They live behind walls and gates, and they have guards all over the place.
00:05:11.780 Me, too.
00:05:12.680 Because I want to be safe, and I want to make America safe, if you don't mind.
00:05:17.040 What a great line of attack.
00:05:21.460 This is a very Trumpian setup.
00:05:25.220 This is one of the great setups that helped him in 2016,
00:05:28.640 which is you call out hypocrisy.
00:05:31.500 You call out corruption.
00:05:33.500 Then you say that you also participated in that.
00:05:37.380 You also participated in this elitism.
00:05:40.040 And then you say, I see it clearly, and I want everyone to enjoy the fruits of elitism.
00:05:47.120 I want everyone to be able to live like I do.
00:05:51.440 It's an essentially American message.
00:05:54.360 It sort of grants a little bit of a vice.
00:05:58.100 It's like he's letting you in on a little secret.
00:06:00.520 Even though it's not a secret, we all know Donald Trump lived behind walls
00:06:03.720 because he's a billionaire.
00:06:05.800 But it's allowing that connection.
00:06:07.820 It's saying, hey, psst, come here, I've got something to tell you.
00:06:10.440 It's rhetorically extraordinarily effective.
00:06:13.720 You saw him do this in 2016.
00:06:15.660 He said, look, I don't need to take anybody's money.
00:06:18.600 I don't need to take money from any of the big donors.
00:06:20.880 Me, I was buying off politicians left and right when I was a developer in New York.
00:06:26.560 Oh, yeah, I was buying them all off.
00:06:28.320 Democrats, Republicans, everybody.
00:06:30.440 And I'm telling you, I've seen how it works.
00:06:32.480 I've seen it up close.
00:06:33.520 And I'm not going to be that guy for you.
00:06:35.200 I don't need their money.
00:06:36.860 I'm letting you in on the secret.
00:06:38.780 I participated in that.
00:06:40.960 And it's wrong because some people got to do it and some people don't.
00:06:43.840 It granted access to some people but not others.
00:06:46.060 And I'm telling you now I'm going to clean up government.
00:06:48.340 I'm going to drain the swamp.
00:06:50.480 Rhetorically very effective.
00:06:52.640 He's doing the same thing here.
00:06:53.860 He's saying the people who oppose the wall all live behind walls.
00:06:57.860 This is true 100% of the time.
00:07:00.540 Some live behind really big, giant, gated mansions like Nancy Pelosi.
00:07:06.220 But everybody's got walls.
00:07:07.480 Everybody's got a lock on their door.
00:07:09.640 Everybody's got walls in their house.
00:07:11.500 And these members of Congress, many of them have security.
00:07:14.660 They travel with security.
00:07:16.400 They travel with guys with guns.
00:07:18.660 It's just you who doesn't get to have them.
00:07:21.640 And he's saying I want to give that to everybody.
00:07:23.600 I want everybody to be just as safe as these hypocrite Democrat billionaires and these donors and these members of Congress.
00:07:29.760 He's not even just zeroing in on the Democrats because there are donors in both parties.
00:07:35.800 This was always the unholy alliance that gave us illegal immigration is that Democrats wanted to import them for votes.
00:07:43.020 And the sort of Wall Street Journal Republican set, the Chamber of Commerce Republican set, wanted to import them for cheap labor.
00:07:50.900 So they both would turn a blind eye and in some cases even encourage illegal immigration.
00:07:55.380 Donald Trump's going in and saying, yep, that's a crooked deal.
00:07:57.860 That's a raw deal.
00:07:58.540 They're hypocrites.
00:07:59.680 They're enjoying the fruits of security.
00:08:01.980 You should, too.
00:08:02.940 This works for the gun control argument as well.
00:08:05.420 So these guys are hypocrites.
00:08:06.520 They've got armed guards with them at all times.
00:08:08.560 You should be able to be an armed guard for yourself.
00:08:11.320 And you should be able to give your family an armed guard in yourself.
00:08:15.720 You should be able to carry your guns.
00:08:17.280 And I'm going to do that.
00:08:18.400 And it's a totally American message because instead of just tearing down the elite, saying you billionaires are immoral, like AOC just said, or people who have succeeded are terrible.
00:08:30.180 We should tear them down.
00:08:31.340 That's a very un-American message.
00:08:33.160 Donald Trump gives the American message.
00:08:34.700 He says, yeah, I was buying off politicians left and right, and I'm going to be buying off myself for you.
00:08:41.300 I'm going to be giving you the opportunity.
00:08:42.940 You can buy me off with your votes.
00:08:45.360 I'm unaccountable to all of you.
00:08:46.940 I'm going to be influenced not by special interests but by you, the American people.
00:08:51.240 Yeah, I've been living behind gates my whole life, and I'm going to extend that to you so that you can live like the elites.
00:08:56.820 Yeah, the elites get to be behind the protection of armed guards all the time.
00:09:00.000 I'm going to extend that to you.
00:09:01.400 You can live like the elites.
00:09:03.120 A totally uplifting message.
00:09:06.620 And the other advantage for him is there's no actual argument against the wall.
00:09:11.920 So he's pushing really hard right now.
00:09:14.340 He took a little bit of a personal popularity hit during that government shutdown, and since then, though, his popularity has really increased, and he is going hard at these people.
00:09:26.020 So Beto O'Rourke held a rally down the street, a tale of two rallies.
00:09:31.960 You know, everybody tells me that Beto is a great politician.
00:09:35.220 I've never met Beto in person.
00:09:36.560 I've never seen him personally on the stump or on the campaign trail.
00:09:39.360 But people who were, people who were advisers to Senator Cruz and others who saw him up close, they tell me he's a great politician.
00:09:47.560 However, the more light that is being shown on this guy, the less talented he seems.
00:09:53.020 Take a look at this.
00:09:53.780 In one of the safest cities in the United States of America.
00:10:05.460 Safe, not because of walls, but in spite of walls.
00:10:10.400 Secure, because we treat one another with dignity and respect.
00:10:20.820 That is the way that we make our communities and our country safe.
00:10:25.620 Ugh.
00:10:26.880 Ugh.
00:10:28.160 Beto O'Rourke.
00:10:29.820 Women don't want him.
00:10:31.320 Men don't want to be him.
00:10:33.480 How awkward.
00:10:35.200 First of all, if you couldn't see it, his body movements are so awkward and stilted.
00:10:39.920 You've got Donald Trump behind his podium and he's, he's got, he also gesticulates.
00:10:45.120 But it doesn't seem to be gesticulation.
00:10:46.980 It seems that he has a purpose behind his movements.
00:10:50.100 Whereas when you look at Beto, he's a cool guy.
00:10:52.820 You know, Beto, he's so cool and modern.
00:10:54.860 He doesn't need a jacket.
00:10:56.420 Yeah, dad, you can't make me wear a tie, dad.
00:10:59.240 Ugh, I'm cool.
00:11:00.420 He's just doing that Obama thing, you know.
00:11:02.000 He's actually doing what I'm wearing right now, except I'm doing a podcast.
00:11:05.060 He's giving a political rally to all of his supporters.
00:11:07.860 He can't, no, I can't be bothered to wear a jacket.
00:11:09.780 I'm a cool guy.
00:11:10.560 Mm-mm-mm.
00:11:11.600 So he's doing that.
00:11:12.880 I don't need a podium, dad.
00:11:14.560 So then he's just walking around the stage.
00:11:17.080 And, but he's, it's too awkward.
00:11:18.600 Like his torso isn't working.
00:11:20.300 I don't want people to accuse me, by the way, of sexism because I keep commenting on these
00:11:26.480 female Democrat presidential candidates on how they were coming across physically.
00:11:30.600 I've all, well, I will also do it for the male candidates.
00:11:34.780 The trouble is that all of the candidates right now are women, right?
00:11:38.620 I think all of the Democrat candidates, Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala
00:11:44.380 Harris, there are, it's only declared women right now in the Democrat field.
00:11:48.500 So when, when men declare, like when Beto finally comes out and runs, I can point to
00:11:53.200 that as well.
00:11:53.960 But Beto O'Rourke is, he's just, he's, he reminds me of that guy in college, that creepy
00:12:02.100 guy in college who would go up to your girlfriend and tell them that like he's really way more
00:12:09.980 sensitive than your boyfriend is, you know?
00:12:12.520 Like he's that guy.
00:12:13.680 He's that creepy male feminist who writes diary entries on Medium.
00:12:18.520 He just, he did not come off well in this rally.
00:12:23.980 But, but look at this difference.
00:12:25.860 Just look at this difference between, in one second, there's a huge difference.
00:12:29.980 You can tell the big difference between the Trump rally and the Beto rally in one second.

00:14:22.240 Here is the difference between the Trump rally and the Beto rally in just one clip, back-to-back.
00:14:30.260 First, you're going to see the Trump rally.
00:14:32.320 And then immediately, you will see the Beto rally.
00:14:34.660 See if you can tell the difference.
00:14:35.720 USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
00:14:46.880 Where the action is.
00:14:52.360 Could you tell the difference?
00:14:59.500 It was a subtle difference, wasn't it?
00:15:01.080 I think, by the way, I'm not making that up.
00:15:04.900 I know that seems like just the sort of joke I would say, that the Trump rally had people chanting USA! USA!
00:15:10.880 And then the Beto rally was a mariachi band.
00:15:13.720 No, no.
00:15:15.040 No, no.
00:15:16.300 They actually chanted USA at the Trump rally.
00:15:18.720 And they actually had a mariachi band at the Beto rally.
00:15:21.880 They're also, obviously, showing the difference between the GOP and the Democrats these days.
00:15:29.500 The GOP, the GOP broadly, I think, always positioned itself as the pro-America party.
00:15:36.240 And the Democrats, at least since the 60s, have been the anti-America party.
00:15:39.520 But at least the Democrats tried to hide it.
00:15:41.540 They're not really hiding it anymore.
00:15:43.180 They're not doing a very good job at it.
00:15:44.920 They're now saying one party, the Republicans, want America to be a country and to remain a country because we like our country and our countrymen.
00:15:54.420 And then the Democrats are saying, bring in the mariachis.
00:15:57.300 Anything that looks American, get it out of here.
00:15:59.380 We want totally open borders.
00:16:01.700 We're ashamed that America exists.
00:16:03.120 It shouldn't exist.
00:16:04.000 And it won't exist for very long if we have anything to say about it.
00:16:07.420 This also gets to a personal difference between both Donald Trump and Beto O'Rourke.
00:16:12.660 Beto O'Rourke is a fraud.
00:16:16.680 His name is a fraud.
00:16:18.600 He pretends to be Mexican.
00:16:20.020 He has this name Beto, Beto.
00:16:22.140 But he's fully Irish.
00:16:23.940 He's the most Irish.
00:16:24.980 He's more Irish than Liz Warren is not Indian.
00:16:28.340 And it's kind of a weird moment for the Democrats that you've got these racial frauds littering their presidential primary.
00:16:35.820 But, of course, the reason for this is because they've embraced an identity politics and an ideology called intersectionality that says that white people are bad.
00:16:44.580 And if white people are bad, then these cynical politicians are going to pretend not to be white people like Beto O'Rourke.
00:16:50.200 So you've got Beto, who's a race fraud.
00:16:52.280 And then you've got President Trump, who is not a fraud.
00:16:55.640 President Trump is many things.
00:16:57.820 You can accuse him of a great many things.
00:17:01.140 But Donald Trump, what you see is what you get.
00:17:04.620 That guy does not, there is not a lot of distance between him and the voter.
00:17:08.960 Donald Trump, in this rally last night, Donald Trump is so authentic that he actually came out against puppies.
00:17:17.740 He came out, he had been talking about German shepherds.
00:17:20.820 This is the setup.
00:17:21.560 He was talking about how at the border, they have all of this really cool technology to find drugs.
00:17:26.580 And he said, but none of it's as effective as a German shepherd.
00:17:29.420 They bring the drug dogs around, and then the drug dogs sniff out the drugs.
00:17:34.120 And then he goes on this rant.
00:17:35.260 He's so authentic that he came out against puppies.
00:17:38.520 You do love your dogs, don't you?
00:17:39.980 I wouldn't mind having one, honestly, but I don't have any time.
00:17:51.560 I don't have to.
00:17:54.180 How would I look walking a dog on the White House, Lord?
00:17:56.980 Would that be?
00:18:01.660 Right?
00:18:02.840 Sort of not for, I don't know.
00:18:04.280 It doesn't, I don't feel good.
00:18:05.420 It feels a little phony, phony to me.
00:18:09.640 A lot of people say, oh, you should get a dog.
00:18:11.640 Why?
00:18:12.060 It's good politically.
00:18:13.000 I said, look, that's not the relationship I have with my people.
00:18:16.400 We want to have, yeah.
00:18:17.640 Obama had a dog, you're right.
00:18:21.880 He nails it here.
00:18:24.060 I found this clip so charming.
00:18:27.000 Because he says, he's talking about dogs, and all these people, I guess, really like their dogs.
00:18:31.340 I mean, who doesn't like dogs?
00:18:32.380 Dogs are man's best friend.
00:18:33.440 He says, oh, you all love your dogs, right?
00:18:35.860 Yeah, we love our dogs.
00:18:37.300 Yeah, yeah, maybe should I get a dog?
00:18:38.680 I don't have time for a dog.
00:18:40.100 He's right.
00:18:40.580 He doesn't have time for a dog.
00:18:42.340 Yeah, well, what should I?
00:18:44.320 Should I walk around with a little dog?
00:18:45.540 Yeah, you should walk around with a dog.
00:18:46.900 Nah, it would be phony.
00:18:48.020 I don't want a dog.
00:18:49.220 Nah.
00:18:50.500 But it would be good politics.
00:18:52.420 That's not the relationship I have with my people.
00:18:56.840 And he's right.
00:18:57.820 That's the thing.
00:18:59.440 And then he laughs at that joke at the end.
00:19:01.480 Yeah, Obama had a dog.
00:19:02.400 All right, no dogs.
00:19:03.160 Other politicians do things so that they can get a photo taken in the newspaper that they
00:19:12.480 think will test really well in the focus groups with their supporters and the moderates.
00:19:18.460 And, oh, mate, mister, you should get a dog.
00:19:20.180 Okay, I'll get a dog.
00:19:21.200 I'll get a dog and I'll name it after me.
00:19:23.920 Do you remember that Barack Obama named his dog after himself?
00:19:26.260 Because he's a ridiculous narcissist.
00:19:29.080 People call Trump a narcissist.
00:19:30.880 Barack Obama named the dog after him.
00:19:33.320 So I'll get a dog.
00:19:34.040 I'll look really good.
00:19:34.780 Yep, love my dog.
00:19:36.580 But Donald Trump is like me.
00:19:38.780 I'm sorry.
00:19:39.640 This is another, this is unpopular.
00:19:41.500 But hey, that's my relationship to you, huh?
00:19:43.380 Just like the president.
00:19:44.560 I don't like dogs.
00:19:45.820 I'm not a dog person.
00:19:47.440 I'm not a cat person.
00:19:48.640 I'm a people person, is what I am.
00:19:52.260 I like people.
00:19:53.500 I'm not a huge, I just don't.
00:19:55.120 I like dogs for five minutes and if I go to my friend's house, I can play with the dog
00:19:58.880 and then go away.
00:20:00.220 Because dogs are not reasonable.
00:20:01.840 I can't reason with them.
00:20:03.520 So after a while, I say, okay, that's fine.
00:20:05.540 I don't want to have to stay home and walk them.
00:20:07.280 I don't want to have to.
00:20:08.560 Now in LA, because the dogs have taken over the whole city, now the dogs own people in
00:20:14.140 LA.
00:20:14.360 So when you go to restaurants, it's just all these dogs and they're all pretend service
00:20:17.700 animals for like little 17-year-old white girls who can't go anywhere without Fluffy.
00:20:22.460 And they completely take, but I don't care.
00:20:25.640 I don't, I'm with Donald Trump.
00:20:27.000 I don't have time.
00:20:27.900 I'm not that interested.
00:20:29.180 Sorry.
00:20:29.960 Now most politicians would never say that.
00:20:32.440 How do you, it's like coming out against apple pie.
00:20:34.720 Say, yeah, I don't like apple pie.
00:20:36.220 I'm not an apple pie person.
00:20:37.780 Nope.
00:20:38.520 Uh-uh.
00:20:39.520 And, but he does it because he knows, look, I'm not going to do some stupid photo op
00:20:43.600 for, so that there's a photo in the New York Times and then people think I'm really soft
00:20:48.240 and warm because I have a dog.
00:20:49.860 I'm not doing that.
00:20:50.980 I'm speaking very candidly to the American people and to my supporters and it works.
00:20:55.740 It totally works.
00:20:57.300 So this rally, this was a really nice way to end the, my trip on the road.
00:21:02.020 I had been on the road in Raleigh, Raleigh, North Carolina.
00:21:04.900 I was in Atlanta.
00:21:05.820 I was supposed to go to Alabama, but ended up coming straight back.
00:21:08.740 I'd been sick.
00:21:09.900 It had been a really tough week.
00:21:11.120 I was pretty run down and I see this and it totally reinvigorated me and I think it
00:21:16.260 totally reinvigorated his base.
00:21:18.400 And Donald Trump is now on the war path.
00:21:21.020 He is going hard.
00:21:22.120 His, his approval rating is going up.
00:21:23.780 And so now he's, he's going hard, not just against Beto, who he was ruthlessly mocking
00:21:29.400 during the rally, but now he's going after Democrat freshman rep Ilan Omar.
00:21:35.220 She's the one who said that Israel had hypnotized the world and we need to pray to Allah that people's
00:21:40.540 eyes are opened to the evil of Israel.
00:21:43.180 You know, a moderate, she was a moderate Democrat.
00:21:45.940 And so then she came out and said that Jews are just buying off all of the Republicans.
00:21:50.820 All those awful, terrible Jews are just buying them off with their money.
00:21:55.120 And she tweeted out this outcome.
00:21:57.520 Republicans support Israel.
00:21:58.720 She said, it's all about the Benjamins baby, which is also a play on words because Benjamin
00:22:04.120 is a Jewish name.
00:22:05.720 And she's referring to AIPAC, the Israel PAC in America, as if to say the only reason that
00:22:12.500 anybody would ever support Israel is because they're on the hook for Jew money.
00:22:16.440 That's her line.
00:22:18.560 That's her point.
00:22:19.700 She's obviously not a huge fan of the Jewish people or the state of Israel.
00:22:25.120 And she just keeps doubling down in tweet and statement, all of these digs against Jews.
00:22:32.860 And this has become too much for some members of her party, though her party has been pretty
00:22:37.400 silent on anti-Semitism.
00:22:39.140 Donald Trump feeling strong, coming off a good rally.
00:22:42.440 He's coming out and says she should resign.
00:22:44.400 One other thing I might want to say is that anti-Semitism has no place in the United States
00:22:51.460 Congress.
00:22:53.120 And Congressman Omar is terrible, what she said.
00:22:59.460 And I think she should either resign from Congress or she should certainly resign from the House
00:23:07.160 Foreign Affairs Committee.
00:23:08.300 What she said is so deep-seated in her heart that her lame apology, and that's what it was,
00:23:18.000 it was lame, and she didn't mean a word of it, was just not appropriate.
00:23:23.800 I think she should resign from Congress, frankly.
00:23:26.680 But at a minimum, she shouldn't be on committees, or certainly that committee.
00:23:30.760 Beautiful, just coming out, kicking the Democrats while they're down.
00:23:37.420 It's been a very tough couple weeks for Democrats.
00:23:40.200 They've had the Green New Deal, which totally blew up in their face.
00:23:43.740 They've got, you know, Eva Braun as a freshman Democrat congressman.
00:23:48.220 They have a few Eva Brawans, actually, as a matter of fact, because they've got...
00:23:52.820 In the old days, anti-Semitism was mostly a right-wing issue.
00:23:58.760 Obviously, it goes around a little bit, but it was mostly a right-wing issue.
00:24:03.220 They used to say that anti-Catholicism was the anti-Semitism of the left.
00:24:08.580 Now, anti-Semitism is the anti-Semitism of the left.
00:24:12.980 The left keeps trying to portray Donald Trump as a Nazi.
00:24:15.920 They've been doing this now forever.
00:24:17.460 They always do this to Republicans.
00:24:18.860 Every Republican president is Hitler.
00:24:20.240 They did it to Reagan.
00:24:21.580 They did it to Bush.
00:24:23.220 They're doing it to Trump now.
00:24:25.980 And so I think Trump was smart to seize on this moment and to really go after this freshman congresswoman.
00:24:34.280 Let's put this into perspective.
00:24:37.960 The state of Israel has named a train station in Jerusalem after Donald Trump.
00:24:43.700 Donald Trump is the only president who has actually kept his promise, though many, many other presidents have promised it.
00:24:52.040 He moved the embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, kept his promise.
00:24:56.540 He has conservative and Orthodox Jews as senior advisors.
00:25:01.160 His daughter converted to Judaism.
00:25:03.380 It's very difficult to make the case that Donald Trump is anti-Semitic.
00:25:07.700 Meanwhile, Democrats just elected their new stars to Congress, Ilhan Omar, praying that Allah open people's eyes to the evils of Israel.
00:25:17.460 Rashida Tlaib, who in her office actually took Israel off the map of the world and replaced it with a sticky note that said Palestine.
00:25:27.380 Palestine, palling around with anti-Semites.
00:25:30.980 Barack Obama palling around with Louis Farrakhan, who calls the Jews termites.
00:25:36.400 And they don't get held to account for it because of the mainstream media.
00:25:40.140 So Donald Trump, on the warpath, is using his microphone to do it.
00:25:45.220 And anti-Semitism now is primarily a left-wing problem.
00:25:48.580 And he is really putting the focus on that.
00:25:51.400 Absolutely, this is what he should be doing.
00:25:54.060 It's only going to cause this approval rating to keep going up.
00:25:56.560 It's at, what, 52%?
00:25:58.400 It's going to keep going up if he keeps this up and the Democrats keep imploding.
00:26:02.060 He's not the only one on the warpath.
00:26:03.900 Cocaine Mitch pulled the best move that he has pulled since the Kavanaugh hearings.
00:26:09.200 We'll get to that in a second.
00:26:10.340 Plus a lot more to get to.
00:26:12.840 We've got to get to Kamala Harris smoking pot.
00:26:15.520 But first, you've got to go to dailywire.com.
00:26:19.020 If you're there, thank you very much.
00:26:20.360 You keep the lights on.
00:26:21.440 You keep Covfefe in my cup.
00:26:23.220 If you are not there, please check it out.
00:26:25.600 It costs $10 a month, $100 for an annual membership.
00:26:28.480 You get me.
00:26:28.940 You get the Andrew Klavan show.
00:26:29.700 You get the Ben Shapiro show.
00:26:30.380 You get the Matt Walsh show.
00:26:31.040 You get to ask questions in the mailbag that's coming up on Thursday.
00:26:33.480 You get to ask questions backstage.
00:26:35.520 We're like doing those every day now, practically.
00:26:37.700 You get to get another kingdom.
00:26:39.820 But most importantly of all, the leftist-tears tumbler.
00:26:44.440 You get mmm.
00:26:50.480 This is really good because, you know, Ilhan Omar is praying that Allah open people's eyes up.
00:26:57.680 And when those eyes are open, especially those left-wing eyes, you know, it's going to pour out those leftist tears because Donald Trump's approval rating is at 52%.
00:27:08.260 And Beta O'Rourke had a flop of a rally last night.
00:27:13.340 And Kamala Harris is boasting about how she smoked pot listening to Snoop Dogg seven years before his first album came out.
00:27:21.760 Oh, it's just so, oh, if I were on the left, I would fill up tumbler after tumbler this week.
00:27:28.520 But I can't.
00:27:29.400 I'm just filling them up with tears of joy.
00:27:31.080 I'm just that most popular emoji in the world.
00:27:33.400 You know, the one where it's just, ha, and then the tears of joy come pouring out.
00:27:36.380 So mix them in with your leftist tears, the tears of joy.
00:27:40.660 And the leftist tears, it creates like a nice rosé, serves really well out of your tumbler.
00:27:45.020 Go to dailywire.com.
00:27:45.880 We'll be right back.
00:27:56.340 So Cocaine Mitch wants to join in on the fun.
00:27:59.960 You know, Cocaine Mitch isn't going to let President Trump have all the fun.
00:28:03.600 Oh, no, no, no.
00:28:04.520 Cocaine Mitch.
00:28:05.160 But what he does, they have very different styles.
00:28:07.220 President Trump, obviously, he's a little bigger, more braggadocious, a little more, he's just a bigger personality.
00:28:15.660 Cocaine Mitch, he just waits there in his shell.
00:28:19.480 He's just spying around the room in his shell, waiting for the opening to come out and snap.
00:28:26.220 And he's found it in the Green New Deal.
00:28:29.660 You remember the Green New Deal.
00:28:31.020 It's going to destroy 88% of American energy, knock down every single building in the country, rebuild it within 10 years, outlaw airplanes, outlaw automobiles.
00:28:39.100 Obviously, you're going to have to leave your home when they knock the building down.
00:28:41.380 It's going to destroy one-sixth of the American economy, institute socialist health care, take away unemployment insurance, create mandatory government jobs, I guess.
00:28:53.080 That's the backstop.
00:28:54.500 Then it's going to pay people who are unwilling to work.
00:28:56.560 The list goes on and on and on and on.
00:28:59.480 And do you know who loves the Green New Deal, other than all of us?
00:29:03.220 Cocaine Mitch.
00:29:04.120 Oh, he loves it.
00:29:05.600 Cocaine Mitch is going to bring the Green New Deal to the Senate floor for a vote.
00:29:12.840 Now, obviously, it's not going to pass the Senate.
00:29:15.540 There's Republican control of the Senate, and President Trump would veto it anyway.
00:29:22.180 But what Cocaine Mitch wants to do—I'm sorry, Senate Majority Leader Cocaine.
00:29:28.580 What Senate Majority Leader Cocaine wants to do is get every single Democrat senator on the record as either supporting or opposing the Green New Deal.
00:29:38.000 This is a perfect wedge issue, especially because environmentalism is the left's religion.
00:29:44.040 So if you oppose it, you're not just opposing some policy they like.
00:29:46.860 You are opposing their faith, their creed, the heart of their identity.
00:29:52.880 And he wants to get them on the record.
00:29:54.780 And they're damned if they do, damned if they don't.
00:29:56.720 If they vote for the Green New Deal, every single GOP ad in 2020 is going to be about how Senator so-and-so voted to destroy American energy,
00:30:06.500 to take away six million jobs in two seconds, and destroy your house, outlaw your car, and your airplane.
00:30:12.000 If they vote against the Green New Deal, then the left is going to go after them.
00:30:16.680 The Ocasio-Cortez wing of the party is going to go after them.
00:30:19.660 They're going to be seen as old fogies.
00:30:21.380 They might get primaried in 2020.
00:30:24.020 It's a beautiful issue.
00:30:25.320 And so when Cocaine Mitch, he always tries to hide his excitement, but he gives you a little wink.
00:30:29.480 This is what he said.
00:30:30.240 He said, quote,
00:30:31.960 I've noted with great interest the Green New Deal, and we're going to be voting on that in the Senate.
00:30:38.880 Give everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the Green New Deal.
00:30:46.860 It's just that little, it's like that gif of Cocaine Mitch just looking up,
00:30:51.160 and then you just see that little smile creep across his face.
00:30:54.220 I'm sure that's what he got when he was writing out that statement.
00:30:57.720 Absolutely fabulous.
00:30:59.380 How are the Democrats punching back?
00:31:00.940 They've got nothing.
00:31:02.300 So they're just punching back, and the old way they always do, they're using the mainstream media, of course.
00:31:09.580 There was, at the Media Research Center, they found, I think, 33 TV shows in the past, I don't know, five minutes
00:31:17.220 that have been calling Donald Trump a racist, a terrorist, and it's great to kill babies,
00:31:23.220 and they're just using the edifice that they have to do their best to push down Trump's popularity,
00:31:30.140 push up Democrat popularity.
00:31:31.620 Here are their best efforts.
00:31:34.860 Mike Pence's wife, Karen, or mother, as she's called during their BDSM late-night kink sessions.
00:31:41.960 Is Donald Trump racist?
00:31:43.800 Doc.
00:31:44.740 Trump is holding this country hostage.
00:31:46.760 You don't deal with terrorists.
00:31:48.580 Mr. President, on the off chance that you aren't watching Judge Jeanine Pirro with your pants
00:31:55.160 off right now,
00:31:55.840 Suck it!
00:31:56.560 F*** you!
00:31:58.180 Everybody's laughing at you, f***ing clown!
00:32:00.880 He has turned the Republican Party into something different than it was when I started to run
00:32:04.260 for president.
00:32:04.780 Yeah, uh, Kremlin.
00:32:06.680 I think it's a little premature to be lamenting the death of our democracy.
00:32:10.040 That is exactly what everyone said in those countries as human rights eroded.
00:32:13.920 My greatest accomplishment?
00:32:15.900 Oh, we didn't ask.
00:32:16.920 I'm not getting AIDS from Roy Cohn.
00:32:23.220 Oh, there it goes.
00:32:24.780 Yeah, ha ha.
00:32:25.980 See?
00:32:26.620 Ha ha ha ha ha.
00:32:29.280 President Trump's approval is at 52% in the only daily presidential tracking poll.
00:32:35.460 So sad they did, but they had the fake Jon Stewart talk about how bad he is.
00:32:42.080 But some guy on some sitcom that nobody watches, he said it's bad.
00:32:47.800 It, uh, oh, just doesn't.
00:32:49.900 Their power has just totally eroded.
00:32:52.500 This would have been unthinkable 10 years ago.
00:32:55.240 It really, this is a whole new ballgame that we're in.
00:32:58.360 And I think it's because so many people don't have cable.
00:33:01.120 How many millennials do you know that actually have television?
00:33:04.280 Not very many.
00:33:05.120 Most millennials I know use the streaming services.
00:33:08.100 Maybe they have their parents log in if they want to watch a special or a game or something on cable, which they also stream.
00:33:16.280 But they just don't.
00:33:17.160 So that power of the mainstream media just totally goes away.
00:33:21.740 It just hasn't worked at least.
00:33:23.800 And that's, they used to have the whole edifice of the media.
00:33:26.300 Now even that does nothing for them.
00:33:28.420 So now they're pushing this lie that President Trump has raised their taxes.
00:33:33.040 Because it's tax season and the big story is being reported everywhere.
00:33:37.820 Some people are finding that their tax refunds are lower than they expected.
00:33:43.260 And so first of all, the basis of this story is some people on Twitter.
00:33:50.680 That's it.
00:33:51.080 It's not like there's some big study.
00:33:52.720 It's not like there was a survey.
00:33:54.200 No, there was some people on Twitter.
00:33:55.920 This was enough to get the mainstream media riled up.
00:33:58.360 But you might be asking yourself, wait a second, how is that possible?
00:34:01.940 We know that Republicans lowered taxes last year.
00:34:05.220 In fact, this was the big gripe.
00:34:06.560 The big gripe against Trump last year from the Democrats is Republicans lowered taxes too much.
00:34:13.140 And now the government won't have enough of your money.
00:34:15.460 That was the big gripe.
00:34:16.420 And now they're saying the government has too much of your money.
00:34:18.420 Ha ha, see?
00:34:19.380 Ha ha, which is it?
00:34:20.120 You've got to pick a lane.
00:34:22.560 Now, let's say, let's just do the hypothetical and say that you get less money in your tax refund this year.
00:34:29.380 Your tax refund is not a gift from the government.
00:34:33.700 It's not like every year at Christmastime, big daddy government says, well, ho, ho, ho.
00:34:40.460 How much did Johnny Smith deserve this year?
00:34:43.140 Let's give him an extra $200.
00:34:45.220 Ho, ho.
00:34:45.820 No.
00:34:46.280 The tax refund is your money.
00:34:48.320 It's your money which you gave in an interest-free loan to the federal government for a whole year.
00:34:54.800 Ideally, you would not get a tax refund because the government wouldn't make you pay all of that money up front that you don't owe them.
00:35:00.280 So, that's just on the basic front to begin.
00:35:06.500 But on the second front, stop using some people on Twitter as your basis, mainstream media.
00:35:13.120 Other than a handful of people who did very well, people who make a decent amount of money in particular blue states where they're also taxed a lot at the municipal and the state level, everybody's taxes went down.
00:35:27.420 This is an empirical fact.
00:35:29.740 To say otherwise is fake news.
00:35:32.020 It's why we conservatives refer to these guys as fake news.
00:35:36.520 So, that one hasn't worked either.
00:35:38.880 Unfortunately for the left, presidential approval is up.
00:35:42.520 Everybody is doing well except for Democrats over the past couple weeks.
00:35:45.860 So, now what Democrat presidential candidates are trying to do is to be likable.
00:35:52.120 They can't run on policy.
00:35:54.540 What policy can they run on?
00:35:56.220 The Green New Deal?
00:35:57.340 Not going to play in Peoria.
00:35:58.880 They can't really run on their records.
00:36:01.900 Kamala Harris is ostensibly the frontrunner for the Democrats.
00:36:05.520 Her entire career is as a prosecutor.
00:36:07.500 She can't run as a prosecutor because Democrats hate law enforcement.
00:36:11.900 They hate prosecutors.
00:36:13.260 They're running against the cops.
00:36:14.580 They want to abolish law enforcement.
00:36:16.460 So, you'll notice, if I weren't telling you this, you probably would have no idea.
00:36:21.360 If you're just a regular old American walking around, you listen to the news every so often,
00:36:26.360 you would probably have no idea that Kamala Harris was a prosecutor for her entire career because she won't talk about it.
00:36:33.580 Because she knows if she talks about it, it'll kill her in the primary.
00:36:36.860 So, now she's trying to be likable.
00:36:38.860 You know, the generic Democrat could beat Donald Trump, I think.
00:36:45.020 In 2020.
00:36:46.460 Just the generic Democrat that you can just put all your hopes and dreams on.
00:36:50.940 But there's no such thing as a generic Democrat.
00:36:53.300 There's no such thing as a generic political candidate, period.
00:36:56.340 Even Mitt Romney, who is the closest thing to generic that there is, is not generic.
00:37:02.760 We saw that.
00:37:03.420 They painted him as a guy who is mean to his dog.
00:37:08.300 Didn't work out for him.
00:37:10.020 Plus, he's also a snake who stabs his friends in the back and he's completely disloyal.
00:37:13.780 So, that also hurts when you're trying to be the generic guy that you can put your hopes and dreams on.
00:37:20.440 So, Kamala Harris, doing her best now to seem likable.
00:37:25.240 See, I just want to prepare.
00:37:26.540 Just set your face in a cringe.
00:37:28.440 Because it's going to go there anyway and I don't want it to scare you when your face just snaps into a cringe.
00:37:33.000 So, just start it out in a cringe and take a look at this.
00:37:36.100 Also, and I know the answer to this too, they say you oppose legalizing weed.
00:37:39.800 That's not true.
00:37:40.620 I know.
00:37:41.980 And look, I joke about it, have joking.
00:37:43.980 I have my family's from Jamaica.
00:37:45.180 Are you kidding me?
00:37:49.980 They'd be so mad at you.
00:37:51.500 Have you ever smoked?
00:37:52.980 I have.
00:37:53.600 Okay.
00:37:54.240 And I inhale.
00:37:55.420 I did inhale.
00:37:58.720 It was a long time ago.
00:38:01.420 I know you have to go.
00:38:02.400 They say you have to go.
00:38:02.960 I just broke loose.
00:38:05.520 I mean, was it in college?
00:38:07.120 Uh-huh.
00:38:07.660 See, I like stuff like that.
00:38:08.740 That's a real honest thing.
00:38:09.920 It's real.
00:38:10.460 Was it a blunt or a joint?
00:38:12.020 It was a joint.
00:38:13.100 Hey.
00:38:13.660 Yeah.
00:38:13.960 Do you remember the high?
00:38:15.620 I do.
00:38:16.840 So, if it was legalized all throughout the country and medicinal, would you, you know, do it?
00:38:21.620 Listen, I think that it gives a lot of people joy and we need more joy.
00:38:26.180 We need more joy in this world.
00:38:30.140 That laugh is like nails on a chalkboard.
00:38:32.740 That laugh is so much worse than Hillary's laugh because it just, she does, you can tell
00:38:38.060 she does it a little bit when she's nervous or she does it just to fill time or, and it's
00:38:41.840 just, to try to be likable.
00:38:43.920 It's so awful.
00:38:45.140 I don't, maybe it's genuine.
00:38:46.380 Doesn't matter.
00:38:47.080 Either way, she has got to fix the laugh.
00:38:49.140 That laugh is, I just, I don't know, like twitching when I hear it.
00:38:52.360 It's worse than Hillary's.
00:38:53.780 Also, we're a long way from, I did not inhale.
00:38:58.680 Remember Bill Clinton, in just a perfect example of a Clintonism, he was asked if he'd
00:39:03.100 ever smoked pot.
00:39:03.800 He said, I did smoke marijuana, but I did not inhale.
00:39:09.800 What?
00:39:10.880 So, are you an idiot?
00:39:11.960 Do you not know?
00:39:13.320 When I was at Oxford, I was, you made it to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
00:39:17.060 You didn't know that the point of smoking pot is to inhale.
00:39:19.740 So, we've gone a long way here, and now these politicians are going out of their way to say
00:39:23.780 that they have smoked pot, and honestly, I'm not sure that I believe that Kamala Harris
00:39:30.100 has ever actually smoked pot.
00:39:32.540 You know, like, maybe she has, I don't know, probably, I guess, but she came out, in this
00:39:36.700 same interview, we don't have time to go through all of it, she said that she smoked pot while
00:39:41.800 listening to Tupac and Snoop Dogg in college.
00:39:47.180 First of all, with the music, again, she's trying to relate to people through these really
00:39:55.820 basic things, these really lowest common denominator things, because she can't talk about her record,
00:40:02.160 she can't talk about her professional life, so she's talking about music.
00:40:06.380 She's talking, I mean, music is how little children relate to each other.
00:40:10.460 This is how you make friends in middle school.
00:40:12.880 She's saying, I like Eric Clapton.
00:40:16.720 Oh, I like Eric Clapton.
00:40:18.180 Okay, now we're friends.
00:40:19.440 Oh, I like some really indie thing that you totally have never heard of.
00:40:22.400 Oh, yeah, I really like that super indie thing, too.
00:40:25.560 Yeah, now, that's how little children talk to each other, because it's extraordinarily shallow
00:40:30.120 and inoffensive.
00:40:31.480 So, some people persist in this through college.
00:40:34.600 Usually, people grow out of it at some point.
00:40:36.360 You relate to people and you become friends based on other things, such as circumstances
00:40:41.920 or mutual friends, sometimes a shared interest or activity, or you're working together or
00:40:48.000 something a little deeper than, you know, yeah, I really like that cool indie, you know.
00:40:54.000 So, that's, she's relating to people in the way that children relate to each other, because
00:40:58.700 she necessarily has to relate to people in a really shallow way.
00:41:03.940 One, because the deeper essence of her career is off the table now.
00:41:08.020 It's off limits.
00:41:08.980 And two, because her voters are shallow.
00:41:11.640 They're just, I don't know how else to put it.
00:41:13.820 They're shallow.
00:41:15.160 They're thinking about politics in a shallow way.
00:41:18.140 The Green New Deal, which she supports, could have been written in crayon.
00:41:22.460 This is not just invective.
00:41:24.460 This is not just ad hominem.
00:41:26.300 The things she's talking about are really shallow, and that's why she launches her campaign
00:41:30.760 on the mood mix and the music she listens to.
00:41:33.520 This is, this is what she's doing here.
00:41:35.580 But the trouble with this mood mix, the trouble with how she smoked pot in college and listened
00:41:40.340 to Snoop, Diggity-Doo Dad, and the other guy, Tupac, is that she graduated college in
00:41:45.740 1986, and Tupac didn't come out with his debut album until 91, and Snoop Dogg didn't come
00:41:52.280 out with his debut album until 93.
00:41:54.080 And he didn't get acquitted on his drive-by shooting charge until 97.
00:41:58.480 I guess that's neither here nor there.
00:42:00.100 Is it 96?
00:42:00.800 I forget.
00:42:02.520 She couldn't have listened to these guys and smoked pot while in college.
00:42:05.460 So it's two questions then.
00:42:06.560 One, has she been just smoking pot for years, like after law school, and she's just really
00:42:11.220 listening to Snoop and Tupac and all that?
00:42:13.940 Or is she just faking it to try to seem likable?
00:42:18.140 I actually think the more likely answer is the latter.
00:42:22.860 I think this is the Hillary Clinton carrying hot sauce around line just on steroids.
00:42:28.740 I think it's just the way higher up version of that.
00:42:31.580 So things, things are so bad for Democrats this week that even fake, vishy, squishy, I'm
00:42:40.680 a Republican, but I'm not that kind of a Republican, fake conservatives are giving up on them.
00:42:44.900 Even Steve Schmidt, whose entire life now, whose total career is just talking about how
00:42:51.420 awful conservatives are and how he wishes he weren't a right winger.
00:42:55.560 Even Steve Schmidt walked off his own podcast because he has had it with the left this week.
00:43:00.380 Does he really mean that a tax on incomes over $10 million at 70 percent, which is widely
00:43:08.540 popular with the American people, is ridiculous?
00:43:10.860 Is that an adult conversation?
00:43:12.700 Yeah, I think he thinks it's ridiculous and it's confiscatory and that it's anti-growth.
00:43:18.840 That would be his point.
00:43:19.960 What is, will Derek Jeter or another athlete not hit another home run because they're going
00:43:24.760 to get taxed at 70?
00:43:25.580 What's the economic behavior that he thinks it's anti-growth other than his own pocket?
00:43:31.300 Adam, this is bulls**t.
00:43:34.740 Steve, you got to answer the questions.
00:43:36.380 I'm not.
00:43:36.660 You got to, Steve.
00:43:37.620 I'm not.
00:43:39.820 Oh.
00:43:40.280 Unfortunately, the interview ended there.
00:43:43.480 Yeah, it ended there.
00:43:45.180 Oh, what beautiful schadenfreude, by the way.
00:43:49.780 What a great way.
00:43:51.240 This guy, Steve Schmidt, deserves everything he gets from his new friends on the left.
00:43:55.580 Steve Schmidt, he's just so unnecessarily catty and mean and backstabbing to his former
00:44:01.460 conservative friends.
00:44:02.780 He made his whole life working for Republicans.
00:44:05.140 And the first chance he gets, he says, no, no, I want to be with the cool kids.
00:44:09.460 No, I want to be with the Democrats there.
00:44:11.080 No, those conservatives are so bad.
00:44:13.160 Ooh.
00:44:13.980 So he deserves exactly what he gets for hanging around with these snakes because he's a snake
00:44:18.620 himself.
00:44:19.280 I'm really happy about that.
00:44:20.580 But I hope that he's a lesson to all conservatives to not be that guy.
00:44:26.480 Remember who your friends are.
00:44:28.040 Have a little self-respect.
00:44:29.300 Have a little integrity.
00:44:30.640 Have a little loyalty.
00:44:32.600 And don't try to just virtue signal to a bunch of degenerates.
00:44:37.740 And try to say, no, please, left, love me.
00:44:40.120 Love, I'm a good one.
00:44:40.980 I'm the good one.
00:44:41.560 They're the bad ones.
00:44:42.520 So I really love that.
00:44:43.500 But I love that even Steve Schmidt can't take them anymore.
00:44:47.000 Steve Schmidt, I guess, Schmidt is advising either Howard Schultz or a super PAC for Howard
00:44:51.260 Schultz.
00:44:52.220 And Howard Schultz is this moderate Democrat, kind of a center left, center right guy.
00:44:58.400 And the left, he's, Steve Schmidt is learning the lesson in real time.
00:45:02.520 Nothing is ever good enough for the left.
00:45:04.220 He's going to come and to appease them means they're going to eat you last.
00:45:07.880 And he walked off.
00:45:08.560 This is BS.
00:45:09.500 Ha ha ha.
00:45:10.060 I'm very pleased that Howard Schultz is seeing this.
00:45:13.320 Very pleased that Steve Schmidt is seeing this.
00:45:14.560 Very pleased that a lot of Democrats are seeing this.
00:45:17.140 A great start to the week for conservatives.
00:45:20.420 A really tough start for Democrats.
00:45:23.440 And it's only Tuesday.
00:45:25.200 Join me tomorrow.
00:45:26.720 I'll try to keep the levels in the cup down so we don't all drown.
00:45:30.000 Come back again tomorrow.
00:45:30.960 In the meantime, I'm Michael Knowles.
00:45:32.040 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:45:33.080 See you then.
00:45:33.460 Today on the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:46:03.460 President Trump rallies in El Paso.
00:46:05.940 Beta O'Rourke responds.
00:46:07.860 And the government shutdown deal is on the table.
00:46:10.100 Today on The Ben Shapiro Show.
