00:00:37.800 A killer goes on a shooting spree at a New Zealand mosque.
00:00:40.640 Why did he do it?
00:00:41.700 We will analyze his manifesto as well as underreported religious violence around the globe.
00:00:46.960 Then, Nancy Pelosi wants kids to vote.
00:00:49.860 Beto raises a pile of cash.
00:00:51.920 And I defend Chelsea Clinton.
00:00:54.820 Oh, heavens.
00:00:55.500 She's my cousin, actually, technically.
00:00:57.420 I'm Michael Knowles, and this is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:06.060 A lot to talk about today.
00:01:08.340 Obviously, the big story is this slaughter that happened in New Zealand.
00:01:14.340 Basically, the entire media apparatus is getting this wrong.
00:01:18.160 They are doing exactly what the guy said they were going to do, what he predicted, what he wanted them to do.
00:01:24.200 So, it's just a mess.
00:01:26.400 It's a mess of a reaction.
00:01:28.380 People are getting it wrong on both sides.
00:01:30.120 So, we're going to go in-depth on why he did this, what the shooting means, what the shooting means in context of larger religious violence around the world.
00:01:39.520 But first, let's make a little money, honey, with Dollar Shave Club.
00:01:41.880 You know that I love Dollar Shave Club.
00:01:44.960 They send me everything that I need to look, feel, and smell my best.
00:01:48.980 You never have to go to the store with Dollar Shave Club.
00:01:51.000 This is the great thing.
00:01:51.960 Because what I would do is I'd use the same crusted old disposable razor for eight months at a time, giving myself tetanus every day.
00:01:58.720 Because I didn't want to walk three feet to the drugstore.
00:02:00.860 Now, you can have Dollar Shave Club send everything you need right to your door.
00:02:04.320 They keep you fully stocked on what you use so you don't run out.
00:02:07.220 Dollar Shave Club has everything you need.
00:02:09.740 They have this program where they automatically keep you stocked on the products you use.
00:02:13.680 And especially, I want to focus on Dollar Shave Club toothpaste.
00:02:17.780 Because I'm one of these guys, you know, I get to the end of the toothpaste, and I'm lazy and cheap enough where I won't go.
00:02:24.360 I will not get more toothpaste.
00:02:25.580 So I'm just scraping the bottom, pushing, giving myself carpal tunnel to get the last dregs of toothpaste out for months at a time.
00:02:33.480 Don't be like that.
00:02:34.320 Don't do that.
00:02:35.580 Dollar Shave Club will send toothpaste right to you.
00:02:38.260 It's a fabulous product.
00:02:39.820 Right now, they've got a bunch of starter sets you can try for just five bucks like the oral care kit.
00:02:43.860 After that, the restock box ships regular-sized products at regular price.
00:02:47.640 What are you waiting for?
00:02:48.960 Get your starter set for just five bucks right now.
00:02:51.100 DollarShaveClub.com slash Covfefe, C-O-V-F-E-F-E.
00:02:55.800 That is DollarShaveClub.com slash Covfefe, C-O-V-F-E-F-E.
00:03:01.520 What happened in New Zealand?
00:03:03.980 Here's what we know.
00:03:05.000 We know that a 28-year-old personal trainer, former bodybuilder, went into a mosque live streaming with a bunch of guns
00:03:13.920 and killed 49 Muslims at a mosque, at their house of worship.
00:03:19.760 He, just before he went in, he released a manifesto online.
00:03:24.480 It's 73, 74 pages.
00:03:26.680 It explains why he did it.
00:03:29.300 But it's a difficult document.
00:03:30.760 Unless you are steeped in internet language, unless you're steeped in various ideologies on both the left and the right,
00:03:39.900 unless you have some context with which to read this manifesto, you can get it very wrong,
00:03:45.920 as a ton of people on social media and in traditional media, the mainstream media, did on Friday and Saturday.
00:03:52.280 They just were not equipped to read this document, so they didn't know exactly what it meant.
00:03:57.740 And the question is, should people read the manifesto?
00:04:01.820 You know, this document was hosted on a few websites, Scribd, a few others, and some media were posting it.
00:04:08.600 And some media outlets said, we don't want to publish the manifesto.
00:04:12.720 Daily Wire, I think, said, we're not going to publish the manifesto.
00:04:15.260 We're not going to give this guy extra publicity.
00:04:17.920 Totally get that.
00:04:18.760 That makes a lot of sense to me.
00:04:20.120 However, the document cloud services like Scribd that people had uploaded it to also took down the manifesto.
00:04:27.280 This, I think, is a huge mistake because to say a place like Daily Wire or CNN or Fox or whatever,
00:04:34.940 that they're not going to publish it, right, there's no reason to totally give this guy an open platform.
00:04:41.400 But to say that the internet is going to censor this document, you can't find it.
00:04:46.460 I wasn't able to find it.
00:04:47.520 After I first read it, then it was gone.
00:04:49.300 I had to search and have people send me copies of it just to be able to read it.
00:04:52.920 This is a bad idea because the message that it sends is that this document is explosive.
00:05:02.180 It's dangerous.
00:05:03.460 People can't be trusted to read it.
00:05:05.240 Why?
00:05:05.600 Maybe it contains all sorts of truths that the conspiracy doesn't want you to read, which is not what is going on here.
00:05:13.200 What is actually happening is these document cloud services are getting a lot of public pressure.
00:05:18.680 They don't want to give this guy publicity.
00:05:21.200 They don't want to be seen as agreeing with this guy's content.
00:05:23.920 They're being kowtowed by censorious mobs that actually, if anything, are giving the shooter more credit than he deserves.
00:05:31.780 The reality is the ideas that he's espousing are bad ideas.
00:05:35.860 He's asking questions, he's coming up with bad answers to those questions, and then he's using those bad answers to justify killing a ton of innocent people.
00:05:48.240 Those are bad ideas.
00:05:49.660 The way to stop those bad ideas is to refute them.
00:05:52.880 Not to ignore them, not to dismiss them, not to say that they're so dangerous we're not going to put...
00:05:59.320 No.
00:06:00.460 Take them on head on.
00:06:01.740 There's nothing mystical or secret or really wise in these documents.
00:06:07.980 They're bad ideas, and we should refute them.
00:06:09.620 That, I think, isn't...
00:06:10.420 You've got to deal with ideology head on.
00:06:13.060 If you ignore it, you give it a dangerous cachet, and people are going to seek it out, and they're going to read it out of context, and they might draw pretty bad conclusions.
00:06:21.020 What the guy did is not defensible.
00:06:25.060 It's not defensible ideologically.
00:06:27.020 It's obviously not defensible religiously.
00:06:29.420 It's not defensible politically.
00:06:32.200 So the ideas that he espouses are only powerful if they are not shown to be as wrong as they are.
00:06:39.600 So let's get to it.
00:06:40.500 The manifesto.
00:06:41.600 I'm not going to go through and read the whole manifesto or anything like that.
00:06:45.180 If you can still find it online, I guess you're welcome to.
00:06:47.420 I'm just going to go for the most important parts that I think show the questions he's asking, how he goes so wrong, and how he perverts these things to try to justify killing a lot of innocent people.
00:07:00.740 The manifesto is called The Great Replacement.
00:07:03.340 The Great Replacement.
00:07:05.680 And the introduction says, it's the birth rates, it's the birth rates, it's the birth rates.
00:07:12.360 Ethnic replacement, cultural replacement, racial replacement, white genocide.
00:07:17.860 So what you know from the first page of this is that this is boilerplate white supremacist ideology.
00:07:26.980 This is not particularly inventive.
00:07:29.720 This is not this one guy's, you know, really profound insight into a certain ideology.
00:07:37.460 This is boilerplate white supremacism.
00:07:40.120 Who is the guy?
00:07:41.040 He's a 28-year-old white guy, he says.
00:07:42.700 He's not terribly educated.
00:07:44.120 He didn't do well in school.
00:07:45.040 He didn't go to college.
00:07:46.460 And he traveled extensively throughout the Middle East, Muslim countries, European countries.
00:07:51.480 Obviously then he's in Australia and he went over to New Zealand.
00:07:55.140 The birth rates, the birth rates, the birth rates.
00:07:57.580 This is pretty interesting timing in so much as you've got governments across the West trying to address this problem.
00:08:05.000 We were just talking on Thursday about how the new proposals being pushed by Democrats and Republicans,
00:08:11.400 by the whole government, are to deal with the problem of birth rates.
00:08:15.300 Right now the United States has a less than replacement birth rate.
00:08:18.960 Now what this guy says is it's white people.
00:08:21.720 The white people have low birth rates and this is the problem because the white people are going to disappear.
00:08:26.480 Actually, the issue of birth rates is not just white people in the United States.
00:08:30.220 You're seeing huge declines of birth rates among all native-born Americans.
00:08:34.000 Most especially, actually, not among whites, but among Hispanics.
00:08:37.360 But same thing with black Americans, all sorts of Americans.
00:08:41.780 So it's another one of these examples where a little learning is a dangerous thing.
00:08:45.860 You focus on one partial truth.
00:08:48.420 When you ignore other truths, you can create this ideology and go down a real wormhole
00:08:54.000 that ultimately he's going to use to justify violence.
00:08:56.620 But the issue is not racial here in America.
00:09:00.000 It's cultural.
00:09:01.660 It's social.
00:09:02.460 The birth rate issue is a broader issue across the entire country, across demographic groups,
00:09:09.180 not just among white people.
00:09:10.780 So why did he commit the slaughter?
00:09:13.200 This is what he says.
00:09:13.940 He says, quote,
00:09:15.120 To most of all show the invaders that our lands will never be their lands.
00:09:19.560 He's referring to these Muslims as invaders.
00:09:22.380 To add momentum to the pendulum swings of history, further destabilizing and polarizing Western society.
00:09:28.760 And finally, to create conflict between the two ideologies within the U.S. on the ownership of firearms
00:09:34.880 in order to further divide the social, cultural, political, and racial divide within the U.S.
00:09:39.980 This conflict over the Second Amendment and the attempted removal of firearms rights
00:09:43.940 will ultimately result in a civil war that will eventually balkanize the U.S.
00:09:48.580 along political, cultural, and most importantly, racial lines.
00:09:51.680 So I said boilerplate white supremacist ideology.
00:09:54.200 This is what they've been talking about for 70 years.
00:09:56.560 It's the same thing.
00:09:58.520 They're just pushing for the upcoming race war.
00:10:01.880 What this guy wants is not to achieve some limited terrorist objective.
00:10:09.020 What he wants to do is destabilize the United States.
00:10:13.020 So the first thing he obviously gets wrong here is he refers to these Muslims in New Zealand as invaders.
00:10:19.780 They're not invaders.
00:10:20.900 Regardless of what you think about the issue of immigration, of immigration across, you know, various continents,
00:10:29.420 across oceans, into the United States, wherever, they're not invaders.
00:10:33.760 They're being invited in by the countries.
00:10:36.980 The Muslims who immigrated to New Zealand didn't illegally cross the border to New Zealand.
00:10:43.020 The border to New Zealand is a giant ocean.
00:10:45.820 They were invited in by the country.
00:10:47.180 So just that language, invader, is disingenuous.
00:10:50.960 This guy's real problem, I guess, would be with politicians who advocate for lax immigration policies or open borders or whatever.
00:10:59.100 But to call these people who were innocent, who were peaceful, praying in a mosque, invaders, is simply a lie.
00:11:04.860 It's not true.
00:11:06.080 Then to add momentum to the pendulum swings of history, further destabilizing and polarizing Western society.
00:11:11.340 What he wants is not to make Western society better.
00:11:16.580 That's not the goal.
00:11:17.480 He explicitly says that's not the goal.
00:11:19.300 It's to make Western society worse and worse and worse until it's so bad that there's an all-out war and he can create a new society.
00:11:28.280 This is his ethno-utopian plan.
00:11:31.320 I mean, it says toward a new society on the title of the manifesto.
00:11:35.240 So the premise here is that the society is already so awful that the best thing to do is make life so much worse for everybody that it'll all turn to rubble.
00:11:46.500 And then the ethno-white supremacist utopian society can finally take off.
00:11:53.620 That's his premise.
00:11:54.380 And this is important to understand because his tactics will make a lot more sense to observers, to commentators, once you realize that his purpose is to make everything worse.
00:12:10.280 So here you see this in this next line.
00:12:13.380 He wants to further conflict between the two ideologies within the U.S.
00:12:17.660 So he's doing this in New Zealand.
00:12:19.300 He's an Australian guy.
00:12:20.580 But his audience is the United States.
00:12:23.000 He wants U.S. politicians to fight over this, specifically over firearms.
00:12:29.280 So specifically over the Second Amendment.
00:12:31.140 He sees the Second Amendment as this perfect wedge issue because it's in the Constitution.
00:12:36.780 You can't get rid of this right without basically launching another American revolution.
00:12:41.800 And what he wants to do is use firearms to get the left so riled up over firearms that they try to undo and overturn the Constitution,
00:12:51.280 which will get the right so riled up that you will see a civil war in the United States.
00:12:56.620 That's why he used the guns.
00:12:57.660 He could have used other weapons, as he talks about later on.
00:13:02.580 But instead he uses the guns.
00:13:04.280 He then asks himself, what do you want?
00:13:06.980 His answer is the famous 14 words.
00:13:09.620 Partially what gave me some context for reading this manifesto is I did a video for Prager University on the alt-right.
00:13:18.160 Back when that word meant something, now the left uses alt-right to describe anybody to the right of Hillary Clinton.
00:13:24.380 But Hillary Clinton did actually the same thing.
00:13:26.840 But the term alt-right in a really narrow sense is an alternative to conservative thought.
00:13:32.380 So this encompasses a wide variety of ideologies, but all of them basically boil down to white identitarianism or white supremacism or white nationalism or whatever you want to call it.
00:13:44.900 This is difficult to discuss because the left abuses these terms so much that they water it down so it means nothing.
00:13:51.460 But there actually is an ideology here that we're talking about.
00:13:54.300 It is a fundamentally racial ideology that is motivating this guy.
00:14:00.160 And so the 14 words are, we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.
00:14:06.840 That's what it boils down to.
00:14:08.460 When he uses that phrase, he's not coming up with some new ideology.
00:14:11.900 He's saying, I am part of this very specific ideological realm that flourishes on the internet.
00:14:21.080 And that is how you can understand what I'm doing.
00:14:25.440 So the first takeaway, very important to note.
00:14:28.480 But this guy is not insane in the way that other mass shooters are insane.
00:14:34.480 When you look at shooters like, who was the one in Newtown?
00:14:38.980 The guy looked like a lunatic or Aurora, Colorado.
00:14:42.560 You saw his image.
00:14:45.000 He looks like a truly bonkers out of his mind.
00:14:48.260 Can't string three words together because he's got a severe psychological problem.
00:14:53.720 This guy is different than that.
00:14:55.320 He's got a severe ideological problem.
00:14:57.380 He might have some psychiatric issues as well.
00:14:59.980 Very likely he does.
00:15:01.400 But his problem primarily is not insanity.
00:15:05.320 It's a wicked ideology.
00:15:07.120 That's a very important difference because you can't engage rationally.
00:15:10.580 You can't refute.
00:15:11.380 You can't debunk an insane person.
00:15:13.800 He's just an insane person.
00:15:15.380 You can and must refute wicked ideologies.
00:15:19.660 That is incumbent on us to do.
00:15:21.280 And it's why the reaction has to be different.
00:15:24.340 If the guy in Aurora, Colorado wrote a manifesto, you know, in crayon backwards and it didn't
00:15:29.500 make sense, there's no reason to read it.
00:15:31.080 There's no reason to talk about it.
00:15:34.000 Nothing would be gained from that.
00:15:35.640 But if somebody under the spell of a wicked ideology writes a manifesto, you do have to
00:15:40.880 read it so that you can understand and see how things can go wrong and try to prevent other
00:15:48.220 people from going wrong and have answers to bad ideas.
00:15:52.260 He does have some similarities to the other shooters in that it appears he has daddy issues.
00:15:57.640 We've talked about this with a lot of these mass shooters.
00:16:00.160 The fathers weren't at home.
00:16:01.420 The fathers had died.
00:16:02.420 The fathers were divorced.
00:16:03.380 This is one common thread amongst so many of these shooters, the vast majority of these
00:16:09.120 mass shooters.
00:16:09.740 This guy's no different.
00:16:10.920 His father apparently divorced his mother when he was very young.
00:16:14.680 They, I guess he still saw his father maybe, or his father was still alive.
00:16:18.740 And all of the neighbors said, oh, he was such a nice boy.
00:16:21.280 Oh, he seemed perfectly fine.
00:16:22.640 His coworkers, oh, he seemed perfectly normal.
00:16:25.200 Until, coincidentally, his father died.
00:16:27.900 His father died in 2010.
00:16:29.140 That seems to be the moment when this guy cracked, when this guy went on traveling excursions
00:16:36.800 throughout the Middle East, when he started to hatch his plans, when he started to become
00:16:39.780 steeped in this white supremacist ideology, and ultimately then when he launched this attack.
00:16:46.400 So there is that commonality.
00:16:47.860 That is the one psychological factor that people should talk about, and it's gone basically
00:16:53.140 unreported.
00:16:53.780 So then he does an interview with himself, because he knows that the media are going to
00:17:00.100 distort this or misrepresent this.
00:17:01.780 He actually talks about that in the manifesto.
00:17:04.100 But he is making his motivations clear, because he is an ideologue.
00:17:10.500 He is driven by ideas.
00:17:13.940 Insane as those ideas might, or perverted as those ideas might become.
00:17:17.540 So he says, quote, was there a particular event or reason you decided to commit a violent attack?
00:17:25.500 He said, he traveled around his Muslim areas.
00:17:28.860 He traveled around Europe.
00:17:29.900 He saw that Europe had a lot of terrorist attacks, and Europe had a lot of Muslim immigrants.
00:17:36.160 And so he decided that he was going to take revenge by killing a lot of innocent people.
00:17:41.420 And this is a question that comes up.
00:17:43.300 Is this guy reacting to events and then having those events prompt his actions?
00:17:51.900 Or is this a guy who just wanted to go kill a lot of people and used events and used observations
00:17:58.060 to justify them?
00:17:59.960 It seems clear to me it's the latter.
00:18:02.940 He's presenting it as though it's the former.
00:18:04.780 He's saying, I'm just reacting.
00:18:06.040 I just saw all these Muslim immigrants, so I'm reacting for my country or something.
00:18:10.320 I think it's very clear from the rest of the manifesto that this guy wanted to go out there
00:18:17.040 and kill a lot of people.
00:18:18.440 And he's backtracking and justifying it in his head.
00:18:21.120 But we'll see why that is.
00:18:22.880 He then asks, did you carry out the attack for fame?
00:18:26.980 You know, a lot of these guys want to be famous.
00:18:28.920 They want to go down in history.
00:18:30.520 He insists, quote, no, carrying out an attack for fame would be laughable.
00:18:34.700 After all, who can remember the name of the attackers on 9-11?
00:18:37.420 How about the attack on the Pentagon, the attackers in the plane that crashed in the field?
00:18:41.700 I'll be forgotten quickly, which I do not mind.
00:18:45.020 Do we believe him?
00:18:46.380 On the one hand, this guy obviously has a grandiose vision of himself.
00:18:50.300 He's clearly a loner.
00:18:51.940 He was isolated.
00:18:52.980 He got isolated on the internet.
00:18:54.460 He traveled alone.
00:18:56.780 So on the one hand, he seems to have this inflated ego and want this inflated ego.
00:19:04.960 So it seems to me he might want fame.
00:19:06.560 On the other hand, again, a difference between lunatics, true mentally ill people and people
00:19:14.040 who are under the sway of a perverse ideology.
00:19:17.580 This guy's a true believer.
00:19:19.940 This guy's ideology, while not coherent in a broad sense, has some trappings of internal
00:19:27.220 consistency.
00:19:28.040 I bet he believes it.
00:19:29.040 I don't think he's using the ideology as some facade.
00:19:33.460 I don't think he's fooling us with the ideology.
00:19:36.260 I think he really buys it.
00:19:37.960 And so in that sense, maybe he doesn't really care about fame.
00:19:40.740 In that sense, maybe his motivations are different than other killers' motivations.
00:19:46.380 So he says, why did you choose to use firearms?
00:19:49.640 He says, I could have chosen any weapons or means, gas, fire, vehicular attacks, plane
00:19:55.800 attacks, any means were available.
00:19:58.020 I had the will and I had the resources.
00:19:59.880 I chose firearms for the effect it would have on social discourse, the extra media coverage
00:20:05.240 they would provide, and the effect it would have on social discourse.
00:20:08.500 The politics of the United States, the political situation of the world.
00:20:14.760 The U.S. is torn into many factions with enough pressure.
00:20:17.580 The left wing within the U.S. will seek to abolish the Second Amendment.
00:20:20.760 This will start a civil war.
00:20:22.580 Okay.
00:20:23.200 He has now stated this twice in the manifesto.
00:20:26.760 We know that this is a major motivation.
00:20:29.780 What happens within hours of the attack?
00:20:32.940 Politicians in New Zealand focus on the guns.
00:20:35.140 Politicians in the United States focus on the guns.
00:20:37.460 The media in the United States focus on the guns.
00:20:39.720 People on social media focus on the guns.
00:20:44.500 But the guns are not the issue.
00:20:46.680 He's right.
00:20:47.400 I mean, he's right when he says he could have used other weapons.
00:20:51.100 Of course he could have used other weapons.
00:20:53.140 And he chose the guns specifically.
00:20:56.900 Not to make the world a better place.
00:20:58.820 Not even to make his bizarre vision of society happen gradually.
00:21:06.260 Get closer to that.
00:21:07.460 But to actually plunge society into some chaos.
00:21:11.100 And then in the rubble, he thinks in his fascistic vision,
00:21:14.120 he's going to be able to remake the world as he wants to.
00:21:18.760 Now, it's an attack on a mosque.
00:21:21.000 So forgetting the guns, he's kind of setting up the guns is the big debate.
00:21:24.680 But the question is, is this guy primarily motivated by religion?
00:21:30.400 Is that, because it's obviously an attack on a house of worship.
00:21:34.940 So is he, well, he asks himself, he says, do you personally hate Muslims?
00:21:38.760 He says, a Muslim man or woman living in their homelands?
00:21:41.480 No.
00:21:42.280 A Muslim man or woman choosing to invade our lands, live on our soil, and replace our people?
00:21:48.120 Yes, I dislike them.
00:21:49.380 This is a very important line.
00:21:52.620 Because what it shows us is that this attack is not primarily about religious bigotry.
00:21:59.180 This attack primarily is motivated by racial bigotry.
00:22:03.580 So you're hearing people say that this is a prime example of Islamophobia.
00:22:09.140 Now, obviously, Islam plays some role in this.
00:22:11.140 But it's pretty clear from his ideology, from this line, from the whole rest, the whole context, the whole title of the manifesto, the replacement, that this is actually not really about religion.
00:22:22.380 He says he's fine with Muslims having their own lands.
00:22:25.880 Now, what does it mean for a Muslim to have his own land?
00:22:28.160 Before Islam existed, those lands belonged to other people of other religions.
00:22:32.520 Why isn't it their lands?
00:22:33.800 Because this guy's ideology is purely racial.
00:22:38.380 He doesn't really care about the ideas.
00:22:40.660 He doesn't really care.
00:22:42.040 Some people, you know, genuinely have great disputes with Islam.
00:22:46.200 For them, the religious battle is the first and most important battle.
00:22:50.920 Not for this guy.
00:22:52.000 It's about brown people.
00:22:53.680 It's about people with a different culture.
00:22:55.680 But it's about race.
00:22:57.740 Finally, it's about race.
00:22:59.840 It's about the race of people living in New Zealand.
00:23:03.940 He asks, where are you a Christian?
00:23:06.300 He says, that's complicated.
00:23:07.820 When I know, I will tell you.
00:23:09.200 Which is to say no.
00:23:10.660 When you ask someone, are you a Christian?
00:23:12.240 And they say, well, it's really complicated.
00:23:13.920 Well, you know, it just, the answer is no.
00:23:16.220 If you're a Christian, you know, and you say yes.
00:23:18.320 And you profess your faith.
00:23:20.740 This guy is not a Christian.
00:23:22.100 So, now we have both sides of it to say this is not primarily a religious terrorist attack.
00:23:31.120 This is a racial terrorist attack.
00:23:33.140 Something we already knew.
00:23:34.900 Now, the right wing in the U.S. in discourse is calling this a leftist attack because this guy has a lot of leftist ideas.
00:23:41.440 The left is calling this a right wing attack because this guy has a lot of very far right ideas.
00:23:46.580 So, which is it?
00:23:49.820 He asks, where are you a conservative?
00:23:53.300 No.
00:23:54.140 Conservatism is corporatism in disguise.
00:23:56.460 I want no part of it.
00:23:57.860 Again, if you want a little more insight on this, go to my video that I did for PragerU on the alternative right.
00:24:03.680 The alt, I think some people hear that word as alt-right, like ultimate or final or most-right.
00:24:11.720 No, no, no.
00:24:12.020 It's alt for alternative.
00:24:14.220 It's an alternative to what would be called the conservative tradition from, say, Edmund Burke and Russell Kirk and those kind of people.
00:24:23.080 This is an alternative to that.
00:24:25.480 Now, does that mean that it's not right wing?
00:24:28.280 It's not that simple.
00:24:29.860 Does he have a lot of left-wing ideas?
00:24:34.240 Yes.
00:24:35.660 What is one of his essential motivations?
00:24:38.960 Environmentalism.
00:24:39.420 How is that possible?
00:24:40.220 We'll get to it in a second.
00:24:41.280 A lot more of this to get to and ultimately to try to answer the question, why did the shooter do it?
00:24:49.080 But first, we have to say goodbye to Facebook and YouTube.
00:24:51.440 If you're on Facebook and YouTube, go over to dailywire.com.
00:24:54.480 Ten bucks a month, $100 for an annual membership.
00:24:56.780 You get me, you get the Andrew Klavan Show, you get the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:24:59.860 You get the Matt Walsh Show.
00:25:01.080 You get to ask questions in the mailbag coming up on Thursday.
00:25:03.260 You get to ask questions backstage.
00:25:05.580 You get another kingdom.
00:25:07.140 You get all this stuff.
00:25:07.860 You get the Leftist Tears Tumblr.
00:25:10.080 Very important.
00:25:10.920 The only FDA-approved vessel for salty, delicious Leftist Tears.
00:25:14.380 Go to dailywire.com.
00:25:15.420 We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:25:26.580 Is this killer right wing or left wing?
00:25:30.700 He says very explicitly, I'm not a conservative.
00:25:33.080 I want no part of conservatism or the conservative tradition.
00:25:38.080 So then he says, where are you a fascist?
00:25:41.240 Yes.
00:25:42.160 For once, the person that will be called a fascist is an actual fascist.
00:25:45.880 And he is a fascist.
00:25:47.240 He's very specifically an eco-fascist, an environmentalist fascist.
00:25:51.740 We'll get to that in a second.
00:25:52.680 Now, I know a lot of right wingers want to say, fascism is purely a leftist ideology.
00:25:58.220 It's socialism.
00:25:59.380 It's the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
00:26:02.900 It's socialists in Italy.
00:26:04.780 It's socialism.
00:26:05.560 So it's on the left.
00:26:06.940 There's some truth to that.
00:26:08.500 Fascism does have a lot of elements that are very left wing, specifically economically.
00:26:13.200 However, fascism does have a kind of idolatry of the tradition.
00:26:17.660 It takes a lot of elements that are right wing and really perverts them.
00:26:21.380 But it does draw on elements that are right wing as well.
00:26:25.560 So a little bit, it's a little mixture here.
00:26:27.800 Where are you a socialist?
00:26:29.380 Depending on the definition, sure.
00:26:31.180 Worker ownership of the means of production depends on who the workers are.
00:26:35.140 Really what he means there is my race.
00:26:37.120 If it's my race of workers working for someone who's not of our race,
00:26:40.980 then I want the workers to take over like communists.
00:26:43.500 So, yes, that's a very left wing point of view.
00:26:47.140 He's a socialist economically, possibly.
00:26:49.720 Did you always hold these views?
00:26:51.880 No.
00:26:52.220 When I was young, I was a communist, then an anarchist,
00:26:54.860 and finally a libertarian before becoming an eco-fascist.
00:26:58.640 What is an eco-fascist?
00:27:01.340 An eco-fascist.
00:27:02.740 He's a fascist.
00:27:03.640 He's a collectivist, nationalist, racialist, authoritarian who says that the environment is utterly important to fascism.
00:27:23.740 The natural environment is part of the people.
00:27:26.320 And this is where you get to where he goes so wrong religiously because it is almost a worship of the creation.
00:27:35.340 Not the creator, but the creation.
00:27:37.500 He is saying because I so idolize the nation and the race itself that even the trees next to where the race was born,
00:27:47.340 even the landscape of the nation, that is so much more important than other aspects of society.
00:27:57.460 Prophets or immigration or cosmopolitanism or culture or what are you saying?
00:28:02.300 The race, the soil, the trees, the dirt, the hills.
00:28:06.300 That's the eco part of that.
00:28:07.840 Now, you might say he was a communist.
00:28:10.500 That's left wing.
00:28:11.580 Then an anarchist is that, I think that's left wing.
00:28:14.220 Some people say that's right wing, but I think it's left wing.
00:28:18.680 A libertarian.
00:28:19.700 Well, there are two kinds of libertarians.
00:28:21.260 The left libertarians and the right libertarians.
00:28:23.180 Then an eco-fascist.
00:28:24.360 Okay.
00:28:24.760 The truth about his political views is they don't fit neatly on the right or the left.
00:28:30.200 Anybody who tells you he's a left winger is oversimplifying.
00:28:34.160 Anybody who tells you he's a right winger is oversimplifying.
00:28:37.240 This is something so out of the mainstream that cynical politicians and cynical media people are going to want to use this and say,
00:28:49.920 see, it's my opponents.
00:28:51.300 It's not my views.
00:28:53.240 It is more complicated than that.
00:28:55.180 That's just an oversimplification.
00:28:57.200 He, I mean, just that combination.
00:29:02.600 He talks about the tradition, our people are, we have to draw back on our, you know, make our tradition great again and saying there's no traditionalism without the environmentalism.
00:29:11.920 This is a connection that we don't talk about very much, but because now the left basically owns environmentalism.
00:29:18.520 And the idea of the right is that the right just likes profits at all costs and economic progress and we don't really care about the natural environment.
00:29:26.760 That's a kind of new development in the history of political philosophy.
00:29:31.040 That, that breakdown of the left and right doesn't hold up for long periods of, of history.
00:29:37.340 And so, uh, basically whoever is trying to tell you, sell you a simple view of this guy's politics, reject it.
00:29:44.400 It's, it's not a simple view.
00:29:45.800 It's, it is, it's its own ideology.
00:29:49.100 It's its own perverse ideology.
00:29:51.300 Okay.
00:29:51.820 So he knows the media are going to start pointing fingers.
00:29:54.380 He wants them to start pointing fingers.
00:29:56.740 And so beyond just the left and the right, who can we blame?
00:30:01.720 He asks himself, where are you a supporter of Donald Trump?
00:30:06.140 Immediately, the left wanted to blame Trump for this.
00:30:09.200 He says, quote, as a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.
00:30:15.180 Sure.
00:30:15.800 As a policymaker and leader, dear God, no.
00:30:21.640 So what we have here is he says, do you support Donald Trump?
00:30:25.460 He says, in theory, if Donald Trump were what I wanted Donald Trump to be, then yes, I would support Donald Trump.
00:30:36.220 But in reality, dear God, no.
00:30:39.440 So he says explicitly, I, I don't support Donald Trump.
00:30:44.600 Cynical people who oppose Donald Trump are going to try to exploit this and say, see, he views Trump as a symbol of white identity and white common purpose.
00:30:52.640 But then he says, one sentence later, in reality, I don't support Donald Trump.
00:30:58.200 It's an important distinction.
00:31:00.560 So he, he doesn't support Trump.
00:31:03.660 And actually, it's worth pointing out, when he says, dear God, no, God is with a lowercase g.
00:31:09.880 This will tell you another something about his view, his right wing views or his traditional views or his conservative views.
00:31:16.140 He's not capitalizing God.
00:31:17.740 He's not showing a whole lot of respect for God or religion because his religion is not Christianity.
00:31:22.800 His religion is not the traditional religion of his so-called people.
00:31:27.300 His religion is the race itself.
00:31:28.880 That's how it gets so perverted.
00:31:30.900 He then asks, were you taught violence and extremism by video games, music, literature, and cinema?
00:31:36.200 His response, yes, Spyro the Dragon 3 taught me ethno-nationalism.
00:31:41.220 Fortnite trained me to be a killer and to floss on the corpses of my enemies.
00:31:45.860 No.
00:31:46.760 So this, he's trolling.
00:31:49.140 He's making a joke.
00:31:51.720 Even while he's making direct points, he is making jokes.
00:31:55.540 So obviously, no, Spyro the Dragon didn't teach him about ethno-nationalism, right?
00:32:01.600 He learned that by reading blogs on the internet, presumably.
00:32:04.940 What that line also tells us is this is a guy steeped in internet, steeped in internet culture.
00:32:10.680 First of all, I don't know any of these video games.
00:32:12.840 I don't.
00:32:14.000 And I'm on the internet.
00:32:15.000 You're watching me on the internet or listening to me on the internet right now.
00:32:17.960 This is a guy who is inside gamer culture.
00:32:21.260 He, like the verb to floss.
00:32:23.860 This is, I guess, some sort of dance move.
00:32:26.240 I didn't know that until I Googled it.
00:32:29.040 So this is a guy who's, he's traveled around the world, but he lived on the internet.
00:32:34.540 I mean, that's where he was.
00:32:35.900 You get an image of a guy who's isolated, who's talking to presumably the most sinister people on earth,
00:32:43.080 who is blurring the line between reality and humor and earnestness.
00:32:50.200 This brings us to the, to the most controverted part of the manifesto.
00:32:56.280 So in the manifesto, he, he asks himself, is there a particular person that radicalized you the most?
00:33:04.720 And his answer is, yes.
00:33:06.040 Now this, especially read in context with the video game answer, is obviously irony.
00:33:33.900 It's sarcasm.
00:33:36.280 He was not radicalized by Candace Owens.
00:33:38.700 What he's actually saying is, he's laughing at the question.
00:33:42.480 He's saying, no, there's not a particular person who influenced and radicalized him the most.
00:33:47.100 He does actually refer to certain fascist thinkers in other parts and certain schools of fascist thought over time.
00:33:55.560 So, and that might be a more earnest answer to the question, but he's laughing at the question.
00:34:00.300 He's then calling Candace Owens stupid.
00:34:02.540 He's saying she doesn't have insights and her views are not terribly insightful.
00:34:08.320 And, and, and then he says, I mean, this is the, this is how you know for sure that he's making a joke,
00:34:14.280 is he says, her extremism is too much for me.
00:34:16.900 This is a guy who just killed nearly 50 people in a mosque.
00:34:20.380 Candace Owens talks on the internet, obviously she's not too extreme for him.
00:34:27.300 And so he's making fun of her.
00:34:28.760 Why does he mention her?
00:34:29.660 It's also ironic that a white supremacist would say that this black girl is the, is the great insight, insightful person.
00:34:38.180 He says that he rejects conservatism.
00:34:40.540 She is now one of the biggest spokesmen for conservative thought.
00:34:44.600 He says he hates Donald Trump in, in reality.
00:34:49.320 She is one of the favored spokesmen from Donald Trump.
00:34:53.300 Donald Trump references her.
00:34:55.280 So obviously he's being ironic here.
00:34:57.340 The media ran with this.
00:34:59.240 I mean, this, they, they said Candace Owens was the inspiration for this attack.
00:35:06.640 That is simply not true.
00:35:08.080 That's just not true.
00:35:08.820 And, uh, the, the other place you see this internet humor, he, he responds to a point where the point was,
00:35:14.880 you're a bigot, a racist, a xenophobe.
00:35:17.160 And then he responds to that by saying, what the F did you effing say about me, you little B?
00:35:21.640 I'll have you know I graduated the top of my class of the Navy SEALs.
00:35:25.240 I've been in numerous secret raids.
00:35:26.620 He goes on and on.
00:35:27.360 He's making fun of an internet thread discussion.
00:35:30.240 He's making fun of internet anonymous Twitter culture.
00:35:33.680 He's making fun of the place that he lives, which is the internet.
00:35:38.020 So then why does he commit violence?
00:35:41.400 The, the, he commits violence.
00:35:42.900 He talks about the failure of assimilation.
00:35:45.200 This is another thing that people are getting really, really wrong because the object of his
00:35:51.180 ire in the manifesto is not really the people that he just slaughtered.
00:35:55.000 The object of his ire is his own culture.
00:35:57.340 It's a sort of self-hatred of his own culture.
00:35:59.660 He says, he's not blaming immigrants for not assimilating into Europe or America or Australia,
00:36:07.140 New Zealand.
00:36:07.940 He's blaming the culture itself.
00:36:09.880 He says, expecting immigrants to assimilate to a dying decadent culture is laughable.
00:36:16.160 Now, if his ideas were actually coherent, were really coherent, then he would unleash his
00:36:26.380 terrorist attack on his own people, his own culture.
00:36:31.360 But because of the idolatry of the race, because he doesn't ultimately need all these ideas
00:36:37.020 to make sense because he hates the racial other, then he, he just goes out and attacks
00:36:42.800 the brown people.
00:36:44.480 But if his ideas had more coherence, then you can see where that insight would be in that
00:36:51.440 line.
00:36:51.920 And so what does the future look like?
00:36:53.360 The future basically looks pagan.
00:36:57.420 People are blaming white people for this attack or, uh, Christians for this attack or what?
00:37:03.820 No, they're missing the point.
00:37:05.980 The future is this guy sees it is pagan.
00:37:10.000 He says, green nationalism is the only true nationalism.
00:37:14.160 We were born from our lands and our culture was molded by these same lands.
00:37:19.700 It's the lands, it's the, it's the folk in the lands.
00:37:25.140 It's this worship of the creation.
00:37:28.380 He says, there is no green future with never ending population growth.
00:37:32.520 So he comes out against population growth too.
00:37:34.900 We talked a week or two ago about how this is one place you can always see where ideas
00:37:39.980 go perverse when they start trying to limit the number of humans who are born.
00:37:45.220 This is where you see the mark of the devil.
00:37:46.860 It happens in abortion.
00:37:47.740 It happens with people trying to kill off old people in euthanasia.
00:37:52.700 When you're just trying to kill off humans to lower the populations, it's the mark of
00:37:58.280 the devil.
00:37:59.140 The devil does not want more people and neither does this guy.
00:38:04.160 He says, we can't have all of this population growth.
00:38:06.860 Now why?
00:38:07.400 In part, it's because of the idolatry of nature.
00:38:09.300 He says, it'll hurt the environment if we have too many people born.
00:38:13.880 The natural environment does not exist so that human beings can serve it.
00:38:19.100 That is a, an inversion of the natural order.
00:38:22.640 The natural environment exists so that we can steward it and enjoy it, but that the cart
00:38:27.340 cannot wag the dog.
00:38:29.920 I'm confusing two metaphors, but the, the tail cannot wag the dog here.
00:38:33.280 That is an inversion.
00:38:35.740 He says, the present is a gift from those in our past.
00:38:40.600 So here you see, there's the nature worship and the ancestor worship.
00:38:45.100 This is a gift from those in our past, the worship of the fathers.
00:38:49.360 Here you see maybe questions of these daddy issues.
00:38:51.880 Now I, I love our ancestors.
00:38:54.120 I love the, the giants on which we stand.
00:38:57.000 I think it's wonderful.
00:38:57.920 I think it's wrong to spit on them and tear down their statues.
00:39:00.900 That's wrong.
00:39:01.840 Neither should we worship them.
00:39:03.940 I mean, this is a big difference.
00:39:05.200 What he is talking about, which is an essentially pagan idea is quite different from the Christian
00:39:09.980 idea.
00:39:10.680 In James, it is written every good gift and every perfect gift is from above coming down
00:39:16.480 from the father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
00:39:22.240 Now what this guy says is every good gift comes from the past, comes from below, comes from
00:39:27.000 the earth, comes from our human fathers, but that is utterly at odds with the Christian
00:39:32.160 idea.
00:39:33.580 So he says, venerate the ancestors, but work for the children.
00:39:37.240 He's not talking about worshiping God.
00:39:40.860 That's where the, where the real perversion sets in.
00:39:43.540 Then he says, we need a soldier's fight, expect a soldier's fight and have a soldier's
00:39:47.820 death.
00:39:48.280 Here, he's just a coward.
00:39:50.040 Here, he's just a pitiful coward.
00:39:52.360 He didn't have a soldier's fight.
00:39:53.640 He went in and he slaughtered innocent people who were unarmed, who were praying.
00:39:58.960 It just, it's like sucker punching a guy.
00:40:01.300 It's just, I mean, obviously it's much worse than that, but that's what the analogy is.
00:40:05.540 It's not a fair fight.
00:40:06.420 It's not a soldier's fight.
00:40:07.600 There's nothing glorious about what he did.
00:40:11.000 He's just a mass murderer.
00:40:12.420 He didn't, he didn't have the thing that he's calling for.
00:40:15.860 He didn't have the glory that he's calling for.
00:40:18.220 He's, he's basically, they would call it LARPing.
00:40:20.300 He's just playing around in his head.
00:40:22.320 He's got a little story of himself in his head and he's playing it out, but there's nothing
00:40:26.340 but cold-blooded killing.
00:40:27.500 And then he says at the end, I will see you in Valhalla.
00:40:31.640 Not, I will see you in heaven.
00:40:32.940 I will see you in Valhalla.
00:40:34.160 What is Valhalla?
00:40:34.820 In Norse mythology, Valhalla is the hall of the slain.
00:40:39.720 It's over, overruled.
00:40:41.360 It's ruled by the Norse god Odin.
00:40:45.500 This is ultimately paganism.
00:40:48.780 And all this white supremacist stuff, when you go back far enough, it, it just ends up
00:40:56.080 becoming a sort of neo-pagan ideology.
00:40:59.540 It's not Christian.
00:41:01.640 It's a, it's a worship of the creation, of the attributes of creation.
00:41:05.020 Race, ethnicity, land, hills, mountains, fathers, grandfathers, tradition.
00:41:18.100 Now, these things in their proper place, look, tradition is very important to, to all political
00:41:24.500 views.
00:41:25.940 Tradition, either you're rebelling against the tradition or you're trying to channel the
00:41:29.440 tradition as the newest thing.
00:41:30.660 But a, a, a, and a worship of the tradition is when things go totally wrong.
00:41:36.120 This, this becomes a pagan ideology.
00:41:40.880 And so who's to blame for the shooting?
00:41:43.680 Well, the media offers a lot of options.
00:41:45.780 Guns, Islamophobia, immigration, the news media, gun laws.
00:41:52.680 Who's to blame for the shooting?
00:41:54.300 This guy.
00:41:54.760 This guy is to blame.
00:41:58.340 Not Donald Trump.
00:41:59.940 Not Candace Owens.
00:42:01.980 Not Chelsea Clinton.
00:42:04.320 Someone blamed Chelsea Clinton for the shooting.
00:42:06.320 Some Bernie Sanders supporter.
00:42:08.560 Not any of that.
00:42:11.020 This guy is to blame.
00:42:12.440 This guy wanted to kill a lot of people.
00:42:14.140 That's ultimately what it comes down to.
00:42:17.660 If he were motivated purely by ideology, this is how you know.
00:42:21.820 It goes, so if, let's say that his ideology, for whatever internal consistency it has, if
00:42:27.500 he were motivated purely by ideology and the replacement is the issue and the demographics
00:42:32.540 are the issue and we're not having kids and we don't have a traditional culture, if he
00:42:37.120 were motivated purely by ideology, he would have gotten married and had kids instead of
00:42:42.740 becoming a 28-year-old loner loser who shot up a mosque.
00:42:49.060 He would have done, but he wasn't motivated purely by ideology.
00:42:52.600 He's clearly an angry young man who wanted to kill some people, who had an ideology that
00:42:57.660 helped him along to do it that maybe he believed in very seriously.
00:43:02.540 But there was that aspect as well.
00:43:04.540 If he were motivated by the preservation of his own culture, he would have participated
00:43:07.500 in his culture.
00:43:08.880 He would have participated in the religion that made his culture.
00:43:11.240 He didn't do that.
00:43:12.320 His ideology did not ultimately cohere.
00:43:17.320 It's ultimately, it has a rough sketch of coherence, but it's not ultimately a coherent
00:43:22.120 ideology.
00:43:23.020 What's the right reaction to this shooting?
00:43:24.860 Don't exploit it for your own purposes.
00:43:27.100 Try to understand it.
00:43:28.140 You should try to understand it because there was some ideological motivation.
00:43:33.980 Figure out why it was wrong.
00:43:34.980 Be able to explain why it was wrong.
00:43:38.020 And also the other part is not just to look at this totally in isolation.
00:43:44.640 This is not the only terrible event that's happened in the world.
00:43:47.300 This is not the only racial or religious motivated killing that's happened in the world.
00:43:51.960 And this is where the media actually come into play.
00:43:54.280 This is where some hypocrisy comes into play.
00:43:56.740 About a month and a half ago, January 27th, Islamic militants bombed a cathedral in the
00:44:01.320 Philippines, killing 20 and leaving dozens wounded.
00:44:04.060 ISIS took responsibility.
00:44:06.560 Jihadists in Nigeria have killed 120 Christians in the last three weeks.
00:44:13.620 In multiple attacks, 52 Christians killed last Monday, another 17 the day before that,
00:44:19.020 week before that killed 30, right before that killed another 38.
00:44:22.060 Just today, a Turkish terrorist murdered three and wounded nine people on a tram in the Dutch
00:44:27.000 city of Utrecht.
00:44:28.400 So you're going to see people cynically say it's this, this is the big problem.
00:44:37.220 The only problem that matters is white supremacist ideology.
00:44:40.460 Of course that isn't true.
00:44:42.180 Of course that's not the sole.
00:44:44.860 And it's a numbers game.
00:44:45.900 It's not even close to the biggest religious persecution and religious killing in the world.
00:44:50.680 It's nowhere near, I mean, not orders of magnitude away.
00:44:55.580 So honest people, genuine people can look at that attack, go through it with a fine tooth
00:45:03.600 comb, find everything that was wrong, what motivated it, look at it head on, say, hmm,
00:45:08.040 some right wing ideas helped this along.
00:45:10.960 Some left wing ideas did too.
00:45:12.560 Look dead on at it.
00:45:13.860 And yet, probably those other killings, you might not have heard about them in the last
00:45:19.300 three weeks.
00:45:19.860 Why?
00:45:20.860 Because of that double standard, because of that hypocrisy.
00:45:24.300 And that is the soft bigotry of low expectations.
00:45:27.000 That is, it's a line from Michael Gerson, a speech writer for Bush.
00:45:30.000 The reason, I think, that the media only focus on the rare attack from a white supremacist
00:45:38.840 or somebody motivated like that.
00:45:40.840 They focus on that with so much more attention than on Islamic terrorist attacks, which happen
00:45:46.440 more frequently.
00:45:47.380 And they do that because of the soft bigotry of low expectations.
00:45:50.700 Because basically they think, oh, you know, Muslims just do this.
00:45:55.520 They just have, they attack people like this all the time.
00:45:58.000 That's just what, we can't expect more of them.
00:46:00.360 But when white people do it, that's the big issue.
00:46:03.140 That, because we should expect so much more of them.
00:46:05.180 That is an essentially racist or Islamophobic or whatever word you want to use.
00:46:10.520 That's a bigoted position.
00:46:12.680 And that is the position that dominates our public discourse.
00:46:16.580 So I want it, you know, we have so much more to get to.
00:46:18.720 We can't get to it today because we had to focus on this the whole time.
00:46:22.700 But I want it to be really, really thorough because I think at least somewhere on the
00:46:28.180 internet, somewhere in discourse over this, people should really analyze this for everything
00:46:34.460 it's got.
00:46:35.100 The perversity of the ideology, the wickedness of the attack, and the shallowness of the
00:46:40.840 reaction.
00:46:41.440 Because if you only go for those cynical, shallow, exploitative reactions, then you're
00:46:47.480 doing what the guy wants you to do and predicted that you would do.
00:46:50.500 All right, that's our show.
00:46:51.700 We have got a lot more that we'll get to tomorrow, but we'll have to get to it tomorrow.
00:46:56.180 In the meantime, I'm Michael Knowles.
00:46:57.620 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:46:58.680 I'll see you then.

00:47:27.800 Hey guys, over on the Matt Wall Show today, I want to offer my prediction for who will be
00:47:32.860 the Democratic nominee for 2020.
00:47:34.640 And it has absolutely nothing to do with fundraising or polling data or anything like that.
00:47:40.420 Also, we will ask and answer the question, should 16-year-olds vote?
00:47:45.340 The answer is no, by the way, but I'll explain why.
00:47:47.840 And finally, I watched a classic of the Christian film genre, God's Not Dead, after many people
00:47:53.280 recommended it to me.
00:47:54.620 And I found it to be utter and complete garbage.
00:47:57.140 And it also exemplifies everything that's wrong with the Christian film industry.
00:48:01.000 And I want to explain why today.
00:48:02.500 So, all of that over on the Matt Wall Show.
00:48:05.260 This Men's Mental Health Month, CAMH is confronting a silent crisis.
