The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 54 - The October Revolution： 100 Years of Useful, Communist Idiots

00:00:00.000 Comrades, today we commemorate the 100th anniversary of Vladimir Lenin's October Revolution 1.00

00:00:05.460 by looking back on a century of the useful idiots who have propagated communist lies. 0.98

00:00:10.660 Then, Candace Owens in studio, red pill black, Ariel Davidson, and his eminence Paul Bois 1.00

00:00:16.200 join the panel of deplorables to discuss Trump's gun grabber smackdown, Republican odds on election

00:00:22.760 day 2017, and more of Hillary Clinton's terrible ideas. We could fill a year of podcasts with

00:00:28.400 those, couldn't we? I am Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:00:38.420 We have a lot of communism to get to today. Today is a chock full of communism, but first,

00:00:43.280 let's start out with a little capitalism because there's some good news. We have a sponsor.

00:00:47.040 We are going to keep the lights on today, keep covefe in the mug, and this sponsor, you've heard

00:00:51.460 from them before, a really great product called Skillshare. So Skillshare is really great. If

00:00:56.900 you're looking to get a leg up at work, leg up on your career, or you're just trying to have a

00:01:01.080 little side hustle, I've been in Hollywood for three years. Nobody here has full-time employment.

00:01:06.160 It's just not possible. So everyone's got a side hustle going on. Skillshare will give you the

00:01:10.520 opportunity to get your skills up on any side hustle you're trying to do. Maybe your hobby,

00:01:15.200 maybe you're going to make a little money on it. There are over 3 million members. There are 17,000

00:01:20.600 classes that you can access on this great site. It's the Netflix for learning things. Netflix is

00:01:28.820 the Netflix for just wasting time at the end of the day, but Skillshare is the Netflix for doing

00:01:32.760 something productive and improving your life. You can take classes in anything. Just a few examples

00:01:37.220 are graphic design, DSLR photography, social media marketing, digital illustration, and much more.

00:01:43.360 I haven't done any of those things because they're too useful. I actually, I'm looking at classes

00:01:48.120 right now that are even before that, which is how to stop wasting time, how to speed read,

00:01:53.720 how to, like these kind of meta classes. They're really, really good though. And there are things

00:01:58.560 that you wouldn't learn on your own. You're not going to go to some institution or a local college

00:02:03.120 and learn these things, but you can do it right from the comfort of your own home.

00:02:06.640 I'm a millennial, which means two things. I don't want to ever leave my couch because I've morphed right

00:02:11.840 into it. I've actually become one with the chair and the cushions. And also, I don't want to spend a lot

00:02:16.840 of money on that. I can get anything for a pretty good deal online. And this is a really excellent

00:02:21.880 deal. You can have access to any of these classes. And for my listeners right now, you can go to

00:02:27.600 Skillshare.com slash Michael. That's Skillshare.com slash Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L. I'm sort of like,

00:02:35.900 like Michael Knowles now is becoming like Beyonce Knowles. We're both dropping the Knowles part.

00:02:39.540 So just slash Michael. You can get one month for free. So you don't have to pay anything.

00:02:44.840 17,000 classes, depending on if you do the how to get things done and stop procrastinating and

00:02:50.320 speed read, you might be able to finish all 17,000 in one month. So go over there right now. You'd be

00:02:55.000 insane not to try this. Skillshare.com slash Michael. Try out design, photography, marketing,

00:03:02.260 entrepreneurship, anything else that you want to learn, virtually anything else you can get there.

00:03:06.560 So go do it. Skillshare.com slash Michael. Okay. That's enough communism. That's enough happiness

00:03:12.480 and human dignity and self-improvement and liberty. We have to get into all of the terrible

00:03:17.140 lies of communism. Today marks the 100th anniversary of the October revolution. This might confuse you

00:03:25.000 as today is November 7th. The discrepancy of dates is directly caused by Russia's still having been on

00:03:30.600 the old Julian calendar in 1917, but indirectly, more profoundly, the October revolution's November

00:03:36.740 birth date exemplifies the central fact of communism. It's a lie from the very beginning. Despite

00:03:42.840 representing a tiny minority of political forces at work in the February revolution to oust Russia's

00:03:48.400 Romanov dynasty and constituting only the majority of the most extreme leftist elements among the

00:03:54.780 Russian revolutionaries, Vladimir Lenin called his faction Bolshevik, which means one of the majority.

00:04:00.940 Now, speaking of lies, to commemorate this day, the Washington Post ran a 4,700 word piece titled

00:04:07.760 100 years later, Bolshevism is back and we should be worried. Yeah, I'd be worried about that. That's 0.79

00:04:13.840 pretty scary. You might assume that the Washington Post article described the recent spate of New York

00:04:19.480 Times pieces extolling the virtues of communism. Here are some headlines. What killed the promise of

00:04:25.540 Muslim communism? Are Christians supposed to be communists? No, spoiler alert, no. Or why women 1.00

00:04:32.360 had better sex under socialism? You might presume that the Washington Post discussed the terrifying

00:04:38.560 recent poll that showed that the majority of American millennials would rather live in a communist,

00:04:44.600 socialist, or fascist nation than a capitalist nation, than a nation where you have freedom. But no,

00:04:50.820 that is not what the Washington Post talk about. Instead, in this nearly 5,000 word article,

00:04:56.700 they accused Republican President Donald Trump, whose administration has overseen massive deregulation,

00:05:03.780 enforcement of democratically enacted law, the appointment of textualist judges faithful to the

00:05:10.280 Constitution, a bold and nuanced foreign policy that has thus far avoided the disastrous bellicosity

00:05:15.980 of Barack Obama's regime, robust defense of civil rights and religious liberty. No, no, no. They

00:05:22.020 accused that President Trump of being a neo-Bolshevik. The Washington Post, ladies and gentlemen, democracy

00:05:28.420 dies in darkness. The fake news at its finest. Vladimir Lenin is said to have called communist

00:05:35.000 sympathizers in America useful idiots. The phrase refers to people like New York Times reporter Lincoln 1.00

00:05:41.300 Steffens, who traveled to the Soviet Union shortly after the revolution and claimed, quote,

00:05:46.320 I have seen the future and it works. Or New York Times reporter Walter Durante. I'm seeing a trend here.

00:05:52.400 New York Times reporter Walter Durante, who won the Pulitzer Prize for publishing Stalin's propaganda,

00:05:57.940 denying the Holodome War that starved to death seven and a half million people. Or Anne Applebaum,

00:06:04.040 the Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who penned today's insipid twaddle in the Washington Post.

00:06:09.520 All allegedly expert thought leaders on a subject about which they wrote in such ignorance. The

00:06:16.420 Russian Revolution led to the death of at least 94 million people as communism infected nations

00:06:21.780 around the world. It enslaved half of the globe. Yet much of the left in America remains unrepentant

00:06:28.780 in their support of tyranny.

00:06:33.680 And finally, new rule. Fidel Castro is not worse than vampire Hitler. And Cuba is not North Korea 0.94

00:06:42.180 crossed with hell. If we had opened up relations with Cuba 30 years ago, instead of pursuing the 0.96

00:06:48.460 stupidest, most ineffective policy in American history, not named the drug war, today Cuba would 0.99

00:06:55.460 look like St. Bart's and your kid would be there on spring break drinking rum out of a jug, jug 1.00

00:07:00.460 shaped like a frog.

00:07:01.360 People in sinecures like yours, affluent, protected people in Western countries where they can speak

00:07:07.020 their minds, who defend this guy. I've never met anybody who fled from Cuba who would defend

00:07:10.740 him.

00:07:10.940 Because, well, the ones who have fled for a number of reasons, sometimes for personal

00:07:15.280 reasons. They left their wives behind. They want to start a new life. Would a new wife forget 1.00

00:07:19.700 about the old family. You don't hear about that in the media there. And nationalism, the

00:07:24.480 Cuban nationalism, very sensitive people.

00:07:25.600 So you're saying that people who fled Castro were abandoning their families?

00:07:28.880 Some of them, some of them there. Some of them want to begin a new life there. Some of

00:07:32.540 them were. So it's not this huge system of political oppression that is very popular among

00:07:38.880 certain sectors there.

00:07:40.800 In 1985, you praised the Sandinista government and you said that Daniel Ortega was an impressive

00:07:46.360 guy. This is what you said about Fidel Castro. Let's listen.

00:07:50.680 You may recall way back in, what was it, 1961, they invaded Cuba. And everybody was totally 0.88

00:07:55.520 convinced that Castro was the worst guy in the world. All the Cuban people were going 1.00

00:07:59.220 to rise up in rebellion against Fidel Castro. They'd forgot that he educated their kids,

00:08:03.300 gave them health care, totally transformed the society. 1.00

00:08:06.600 Useful idiots like Bernie Sanders at the end. I'm sure you could tell because he sounds exactly 1.00

00:08:10.940 the same as he did then, both in content and in voice. But that was Bernie about 30 years

00:08:16.520 ago. Useful idiots. Men of character and moral clarity saw this evil for what it was as it 1.00

00:08:21.760 began. People all the time quote the Iron Curtain line of Winston Churchill's speech,

00:08:26.500 The Sinews of Peace. But they often neglect his prescription for how to fight this ideology

00:08:31.320 of lies. Be blind to the fact that the liberties enjoyed by individual citizens throughout the

00:08:39.180 United States and throughout the British Empire are not valid in a considerable number of countries,

00:08:47.860 countries, some of which are very powerful. In these states, control is enforced upon the common people by

00:08:55.880 various kinds of all-embracing police governments to a degree which is overwhelming and contrary to every

00:09:04.080 principle of democracy. The power of the state is exercised without restraint, either by dictators or by compact

00:09:12.560 oligarchies operating through a privileged party and a political police. But we must never cease to

00:09:20.560 proclaim in fearless tones the great principles of freedom and the rights of man, which are the joint

00:09:28.880 inheritance of the English-speaking world, that freedom of speech and thought should reign, that courts of

00:09:36.220 justice independent of the executive, unbiased by any party, should administer laws which have received

00:09:44.700 the broad assent of large majorities or are consecrated by time and custom. Let us preach what we

00:09:52.660 practice. Let us practice what we preach. Perfectly said, perfectly summed up by Winston Churchill. We must not

00:10:01.720 only practice what we preach, we also have to preach what we practice. Yet from the American left, all too often

00:10:07.660 we hear, liberty for me but not for thee. From atop the shoulders of the giants who built our civilization on ordered

00:10:14.000 liberty and human dignity, they preach against the spiritual and philosophical foundation of that society that

00:10:20.740 they enjoy, of the life that they live. They are the sophisters, economists, and calculators that Edmund Burke warned us

00:10:27.140 about. But some men understood Churchill's vision and they saw through the degrading materialism of communist

00:10:32.820 ideologies. Winston Churchill said the destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great

00:10:39.780 forces are on the move in the world, we learn we're spirits, not animals. And he said there's something

00:10:44.700 going on in time and space and beyond time and space, which whether we like it or not spells duty. You and I have a

00:10:52.300 rendezvous with destiny. Communism deprives man of his dignity because it pretends that man is an animal.

00:10:58.680 That's why where conservatives see people, leftists only see the masses, the unwashed masses. How often

00:11:04.800 do you hear that phrase? The more they love mankind, the less they love men in particular. G.K. Chesterton

00:11:10.080 understood that communism relies on a central lie, which comes from the father of lies. And he explained the

00:11:16.180 strange fruit of this mystical religion of materialism. He wrote, quote, the Marxian talks as if the only

00:11:22.840 object of saving people from sufferings inflicted by the, quote, blind forces of capitalism was that

00:11:29.420 those people should have material consumption and material security. It is not. It is that they should

00:11:35.420 have life and that they should have it more abundantly. It is not only that a man should be secure of eating

00:11:40.940 the turnip. It is that he should have authority over the turnip and liberty with the turnip and the

00:11:46.020 right to choose his own way of cooking the turnip. For that sense of dignity makes all the difference to

00:11:51.400 his general view of life and of that heaven which fills the empty spaces and the idle hours. On this

00:11:58.560 hundredth anniversary of Lenin's lies, let's redouble our efforts to defend the liberty and dignity that 0.99

00:12:04.260 make life worth living and to rebuff the useful idiots who propagate those lies at every chance that 0.99

00:12:10.400 we possibly can. All right, enough about communism. Let's get to the news. Communism ruined an entire 1.00

00:12:16.180 century and it does not need to ruin the rest of my show. So we have an excellent panel to bring on.

00:12:20.940 We have Candace Owens, Red Pill Black in studio. We have Ariel Davidson. We even have his eminence,

00:12:25.560 Paul Bois, the cardinal himself. But I might have to say goodbye to Facebook and YouTube before we go.

00:12:32.100 Be sure to tune in to watch our next episode of The Conversation. That conversation is going to be on

00:12:37.420 Tuesday, November 14th at 5 p.m. Eastern, 2 p.m. Pacific featuring little old me. The conversation will

00:12:44.200 stream live on the Daily Wire website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel. It will be free for everyone to

00:12:49.480 watch, but only subscribers can ask the questions. Subscribe today to ask me all of the most important, the most

00:12:55.240 kefefe questions you have and join the conversation. We have got a lot to talk about with our panel. We have Donna

00:13:00.800 Brazil. We have Donald Duck. We have Ed Gillespie. And we have one of the stupidest things CNN's

00:13:05.320 Chrysalis has ever said. But we can't get to it unless you go to dailywire.com right now and 0.97

00:13:09.980 subscribe. For those who are already subscribing, thank you. You keep the lights on. You keep

00:13:14.380 kefefe in my cup. For those of you who don't, go to dailywire.com right now. It is $10 a month or

00:13:19.040 $100 for an annual membership. What do you get? What do I get, Michael? This is capitalism, baby.

00:13:24.020 What do I get? Well, you get me. You get the Andrew Klavan show. You get the Ben Shapiro show. Yeah,

00:13:27.840 yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But look at this. Look at this, folks. The leftist tears tumbler. It's the

00:13:34.160 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution, of the promise of the glories of communism. And we

00:13:39.420 have relegated that awful ideology to the ash heap of history. And we've relegated their delicious tears

00:13:44.380 to my tumbler. You need this vessel or you might drown. Go to dailywire.com right now. Enjoy your

00:13:51.040 leftist tears, hot or cold, always salty and delicious. We'll be right back.

00:13:57.840 So good. So delicious. So nice and sunny. I'm almost parched. They're so salty. Okay. We've

00:14:11.260 got a great panel to bring on today. I think we've talked enough about communism. I don't

00:14:14.380 want to talk anymore about these. They've ruined the whole century. Let's talk about Chris

00:14:17.680 Silliza. So from CNN, which you might not know, is fake news. This is CNN. This is fake

00:14:23.540 news. Chris Silliza had this headline. Quote, Trump literally just made the good guy with

00:14:29.660 a gun argument. Literally, not figuratively. Literally. That's real news. That's CNN. That's

00:14:34.160 a real journalist, Chris Silliza. Let's see what Chris is talking about.

00:14:37.580 You've talked about wanting to put extreme vetting on people trying to come into the United States.

00:14:43.140 But I wonder if you would consider extreme vetting for people trying to buy a gun.

00:14:46.860 Well, you know, you're bringing up a situation that probably shouldn't be discussed too much

00:14:51.260 right now. But it's okay if you feel that that's an appropriate question, even though

00:14:54.960 we're the heart of South Korea. If you did what you're suggesting, there would have been

00:15:00.900 no difference three days ago. And you might not have had that very brave person who happened

00:15:07.620 to have a gun or a rifle in his truck go out and shoot him and hit him and neutralize him. 0.69

00:15:15.060 And I can only say this. If he didn't have a gun, instead of having 26 dead, he would have had 1.00

00:15:24.200 hundreds more dead. And are you considering any kind of gun control policy going forward?

00:15:29.660 The city with the strongest gun laws in our nation is Chicago. And Chicago is a disaster. If this man

00:15:38.860 didn't have a gun or a rifle, you'd be talking about a much worse situation in the great state

00:15:45.640 of Texas. But Chris Eliza reports, Trump literally just made this argument. The sun

00:15:51.160 literally shines. The fish literally swim. Candace, what's wrong with the argument?

00:15:56.360 Well, first off, Trump is literally Hitler, according to CNN.

00:16:00.680 I forgot. That's true. We've got to take that note.

00:16:01.500 So, let's see. I don't think that they know anything about history. I don't think they're

00:16:05.340 paying attention just because, let's say guns were completely illegal and nobody could ever

00:16:09.320 get their hands on it. That does not change the fact that people are going to get their

00:16:12.800 hands on things illegally. Do they pay attention to the era of prohibition where people not

00:16:16.820 drinking there? It's just, it's a tired argument. And let's not even talk about how inappropriate

00:16:21.320 it is that she is interrupting the president while he is on foreign land in South Korea.

00:16:26.300 They're supposed to be talking about trade. And she's like, let's talk about our personal

00:16:29.520 issues, like right now. Well, they have to pounce on it. It is true. And Trump, I love

00:16:34.460 me at that point. He said, yeah, maybe you shouldn't be talking about this when I'm in South Korea,

00:16:38.480 but no, that's fine. I'll answer. I'll answer. It is a tired argument. Obviously, it was illegal

00:16:44.460 for this shooter to get a gun anyway. There was a law against him getting a gun and the

00:16:49.280 government bureaucracy failed to do its job. Surprise, surprise. We're a country of 300 million

00:16:54.800 guns. Paul Bois, Silliza, seems to make arguments about guns that are essentially statistic.

00:17:00.500 He says, well, you know, according to these statistics, good guys with guns don't usually

00:17:05.540 stop shootings or whatever. Doesn't the statistical version of this gun argument miss the point of the

00:17:12.420 Second Amendment? Yes. Essentially, I mean, the Second Amendment is basically a philosophical,

00:17:19.240 I mean, theological argument that human beings have a right to defend themselves and period. Now,

00:17:25.280 of course, we can debate the prudential extent humans have a right to defend themselves, but,

00:17:31.240 you know, obviously, should all citizens be allowed to own a tank or a bazooka? We can, of course,

00:17:37.380 debate, obviously. Oh, I'm sorry. I thought I didn't rise. It was a rhetorical question. Go on.

00:17:41.580 Yeah. So that's, you know, speaks to that. And on another point, the reason why they're engaging in

00:17:49.600 these statistical debates regarding this, it sort of speaks to what you were talking about,

00:17:55.000 how the left only sees the masses in these scenarios. And Ben Shapiro hinted at this in his

00:18:02.140 podcast the other day about how when it comes to these types of tragedies and the left always calling

00:18:08.220 for more gun control, we get accused on the right of not having any nuance at all. Yeah, but that's

00:18:15.360 really, uh, the pot calling the kettle black. I mean, this is just, this happens. And then the left

00:18:19.600 goes, uh, Chris, uh, Silesa is clearly doing it here. Citizens have no right to own firearms, period.

00:18:27.380 Uh, whereas we say, yeah, uh, some citizens should have firearms. Obviously this guy should not have

00:18:36.220 firearms. He was illegally barred from owning them. Uh, but the government failed us. So it's because

00:18:42.600 it's not ideological. They're, they're looking for an answer because the, the leftist view of the

00:18:48.060 world, like the communist view of the world is essentially ideological. Whereas conservatism at

00:18:54.040 least tries to avoid ideology. I remember Antonin Scalia was asked a question once, well, how, you

00:19:00.100 know, something to the effect of how are you able to apply this complicated, uh, constitutional

00:19:05.720 provision? How are you able to interpret it? And his answer was very carefully. You have to do it

00:19:11.160 very carefully because we're dealing in human things. Ariel, while the left uniformly mocks

00:19:17.220 and invays against conservatives who have offered their thoughts and prayers for the victims of this

00:19:22.060 evil, they can't seem to articulate a policy prescription that would have prevented the crime.

00:19:27.120 Similarly, conservatives and so-called conservatives who continue to obstruct Donald Trump and

00:19:33.040 invade against him can't seem to articulate any alternative for our political goals of expanding

00:19:38.400 liberty. Is there ever any reason to preen? If you're not part of the solution, aren't you just

00:19:44.180 part of the problem? Well, I think it's natural after some, an event like this and including, uh,

00:19:50.300 the Vegas massacre as well to say, what could we have done to prevent this? And I think there are lots

00:19:55.400 of solutions to this problem, but I don't think necessarily, uh, regulating weapons to the extreme

00:20:02.200 that the left is seeking. Um, I also think it's, like I said, it's natural to seek answers. The other

00:20:07.680 thing I want to note though, is that the reason the left can't come up with a policy prescription

00:20:11.760 is because the laws were already in place, particularly for this past, uh, this incident

00:20:16.860 this past weekend. Um, this is a failure of government enforcing its own laws that are already

00:20:21.980 on the books. I'm sure that begs the question, right? So that begs the question, if we can't

00:20:26.860 even enforce the laws already on the book, our bloated bureaucracy, are they going to

00:20:30.800 be able to handle an increased capacity of regulations, especially when it comes to communicating

00:20:35.300 on a state versus federal level? This is what Ronald Reagan predicted. He said that what

00:20:39.180 the left always tells us, just give us a little bit more power, just give us a little bit more

00:20:42.980 money and we'll get it right this time. No, next time we'll, we'll get it. Right. And

00:20:47.360 I think the other issue is that the reason the left can't come up with an articulate policy

00:20:51.820 is that their ultimate end game is confiscation. Uh, I do firmly believe that because when it

00:20:57.040 comes to, we want gun control now, if you respond by saying, well, the, according to current

00:21:04.300 regulation and law, the shooter should not have had access to guns to begin with, their answer

00:21:09.680 will be more laws. And then if you get to the real nitty gritty of what they specifically

00:21:13.580 want is a limitation on the types of firearms sold, uh, and then potentially just an end to

00:21:19.680 firearm sales in general, uh, which obviously will be a disaster. But, uh, I think that's ultimately

00:21:25.640 why they're not crystallizing for us what their policy end game is largely because we know deep

00:21:31.920 down it's coming down to confiscation. That's it. I mean, a country of 300 million guns, there's one

00:21:36.400 policy that would change any of these shooting statistics and that's mass confiscation. And it

00:21:43.080 would probably have a negative effect on many other crime statistics, but that's the one you got to

00:21:48.320 take them. You got to go over to all those cold dead hands and pry them out. All right. Enough

00:21:52.240 about the guns. Let's get down to nitty gritty politics. Today's election day in at least two

00:21:56.480 places, Virginia and New Jersey. They're a pretty highly watched races. They're Ed Gillespie, the

00:22:01.980 Republican candidate in Virginia, Kim Guadagno, Republican candidate in New Jersey. Uh, it looks

00:22:07.780 like Kim is probably going to lose, but Ed Gillespie is running neck and neck right now. Um, Candace,

00:22:13.180 is Gillespie going to win? I certainly hope so. I mean, if he wins, it tells us a lot about where

00:22:20.300 the American mindset is at. Um, it also shows us a lot watching this race in Virginia that the 0.94

00:22:25.660 Democrats haven't pivoted their strategy whatsoever, even though they just had the biggest upset in the

00:22:31.560 history of presidential elections. And they don't understand that their party is very split. There

00:22:35.620 are the moderate Democrats, which are so close to being conservative and they can't- Are there? I haven't

00:22:40.880 met them in a while. Are they still there? Yeah, they're still there. They're hanging on by a

00:22:44.680 thread, but they're still there. And they're, they're so close to jumping ship, which is something

00:22:49.080 that I did because everything just seems so illogical on the extreme left side. Uh, so it's

00:22:54.240 something that we have to pay attention to closely because it lets us know what the Democrats have in

00:22:57.780 store. And right now from everything I'm seeing, it's absolutely nothing. Well, Candace, it's about,

00:23:01.660 it's about your lion eyes, isn't it? You know, they, they ran that ad against Gillespie that showed a

00:23:06.260 tea partier's truck that was mowing down little Arabic children the same week that a Muslim 0.76

00:23:13.680 terrorist mowed down people in New York in the name of ISIS and while yelling Allahu Akbar is that

00:23:20.540 we were just talking about the, the lies of communism, that it's fundamentally founded on a

00:23:25.400 lie. And your screen name, your name on YouTube is red pill black because you basically realize that

00:23:31.000 so much of what we've been told in our political establishment is a lie. It's the, it's the lies

00:23:36.520 of the, the media and the elites and the experts who it's not that they're ignorant. It's just 0.62

00:23:41.920 that they're expert and they really know things that aren't true. What was it that pushed you over?

00:23:48.240 What, what were the lies that pushed you over and said, huh, maybe the world isn't quite like I

00:23:52.820 thought it was. You know, I think, and I think this is true for a lot of people last election cycle,

00:23:58.440 it was too aggressive. Like normally they lie casually, you know, and they move on to the next

00:24:02.520 story. They are like, baby, I love you. I've heard that line twice. It wasn't true. But they were so

00:24:07.820 aggressive and angry when it came to Trump and it hasn't stopped. Like I was just on the phone this

00:24:12.000 morning with my aunt and she is a registered Democrat. And she said, I can't even bear to

00:24:15.600 listen to CNN anymore. It's just become the Trump news network. There's so much hate and there's so much

00:24:20.120 animosity that you have to essentially realize at some point that we learn about propaganda in our

00:24:25.140 history textbooks. We are living under propaganda right now. The media is just trying to trick our

00:24:30.380 brains and brainwash us. So I think if you had even a modicum of intelligence, you realize that

00:24:34.980 something was up and that something was that these media companies are being run by businesses who have

00:24:40.020 globalist interests. Hmm. And, and they certainly, you know, it's funny you call it the Trump news

00:24:44.760 network. I guess now it is. They just focused on Trump all day long. But I would, I would always hear of it as

00:24:48.940 the CNN, the Clinton news network, pro Clinton, you know, now, now it's the same thing, I guess now

00:24:53.580 anti-Trump. Um, Ariel, the media are going to spin a Gillespie loss tomorrow as the big anti-Trump

00:25:00.560 pivot. You know, they've been waiting for this in every special election that they were supposed to

00:25:04.720 win, that Republicans then won. They always say, then they say, Oh, this doesn't matter. It's no big

00:25:08.320 deal. You know, that's how they're going to spin it. If Gillespie loses, what, how are they going to

00:25:12.700 spin it? If Gillespie wins, what's the story going to be? It's going to be a moral victory because that's

00:25:18.180 how the left always spins it if they lose, but then they want to convince us that they actually

00:25:23.400 won. I mean, we're talking about the age of participation trophies reigning supreme, right?

00:25:28.860 So this is just an extension of the participation trophy. I mean, the left is starting to see their

00:25:34.800 election losses as victories because the only way they can keep morale up is to tell the, you know,

00:25:41.440 their, their electorates that don't worry, we're going to win next time. And, you know, we're on,

00:25:46.440 we're on the right side of history. Yeah. So that's how they usually present their losses is

00:25:51.540 that we just have the ignorant masses electing, um, the incorrect politicians into office and we 0.91

00:25:57.320 have the moral high ground here. So when history writes books about, or when there's history books 0.56

00:26:02.420 written about us, we will be on the right side of history. That's really how they're going to spin

00:26:05.700 it. There was that guy in Georgia. They, you would have thought this was the redo of the 2016 election.

00:26:13.220 I think they thought it was. And he was in Georgia's sixth, I think, John Ossoff. And then

00:26:18.440 he lost and all the coverage, you would have thought that he won. It's just like when they tell a lie

00:26:22.840 and then they said, like Michael Brown, the Michael Brown was executed. He was completely innocent.

00:26:27.460 He was surrendering to police. And then some racist cop just murdered him in cold blood. 0.95

00:26:32.040 Then it turned out there were three autopsies and a grand jury said that isn't what happened.

00:26:35.800 And they say, well, okay, that wasn't true, but it gets to a greater truth.

00:26:39.300 This complete lie that we've based our entire movement on. I get, no, it's a lie. Don't tell

00:26:44.260 him it's a lie. It's a greater truth that we have to talk about. Your eminence, Mr. Bois,

00:26:50.060 Evan McMullin, the nominally Republican, never Trump presidential candidate who tried to spoil the

00:26:55.780 election and give us president Hillary Clinton. He tweeted today, Ed Gillespie was one of the good

00:27:01.320 guys, but now he peddles fear and white nationalism. No evidence of this whatsoever. Of course,

00:27:07.080 it's better for Virginia and America that he not prevail. Is this evidence that despite

00:27:13.060 predestations of principles, guys like McMullin are just lefty squishes?

00:27:18.160 Oh, Michael, I think self-righteous weasel is a better term for this type. I have very little

00:27:24.000 respect for Evan McMullin. It was bad enough when he did his never Trump crusade during the election,

00:27:30.780 which couldn't even keep Trump from winning Utah. And that's what Evan McMullin certainly wanted to

00:27:36.420 do. And that failed. And he's just upset. You know, he didn't get to have his way. And now he's

00:27:41.940 out there standing on his pedestal alone, doing absolutely nothing and just trying to derail

00:27:49.060 Trump's agenda and the Republican Party's agenda on all this. He just looks ridiculous. And so... 0.99

00:27:56.780 The evidence that he's a squish, while maybe not all of the guys who oppose Trump are squishes, 0.99

00:28:01.600 I understand there were plenty of reasons not to be thrilled with his nomination among

00:28:05.640 conservatives and Republicans. But the reason I think we know that McMullin is just a squish 1.00

00:28:09.880 is that he lost a presidential bid and he's behaving the way that Democrats do when they lose the

00:28:15.780 presidency. Not the way... When Republicans lose the presidency, they do it gracefully. George Bush

00:28:20.180 Sr., Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney, they all just get over it and move on, you know? And the

00:28:25.940 Democrats, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, they lose their minds and they just start muttering on

00:28:32.160 the sidewalks, screaming to themselves that they are the real president. I think we're

00:28:36.280 seeing that with McMullin. That squish. Okay, moving on. In her tell-all, speaking of electoral

00:28:41.660 strategy and Democrats, Donna Brazile is writing about what she considers the idiocy of one of 0.96

00:28:47.820 Hillary's campaign strategies in which Hillary would send Donald Duck costumed protesters to Trump 0.97

00:28:55.540 rallies because Trump ducked releasing his tax returns. He ducked that. Do you get it? He ducked.

00:29:02.000 He was a duck. Donald Duck. Do you get it? It's really funny, you know, because it's a duck.

00:29:07.000 Candace, why ultimately do you think that Hillary Clinton couldn't encourage people 1.00

00:29:12.000 to Pokemon Go to the polls? I can't imagine.

00:29:14.940 It is just, the strategy was so bad. And the greatest thing about Donna Brazile and all of 0.99

00:29:21.300 these revelations is we've just been screaming it for about a year now. And suddenly, I don't

00:29:25.340 know, maybe she doesn't know about Project Barrett, doesn't know about the WikiLeaks emails,

00:29:29.020 and she thinks that her book is, like, groundbreaking. She's like, the DNC cheated. Oh, really?

00:29:33.900 The DNC cheated. Weren't you the head of the DNC? Didn't you help them when you fed the CNN

00:29:38.900 a question? Didn't you cheat? It's just, it's absolute, like, she's totally oblivious to

00:29:44.140 herself. And at a certain point, you have to feel bad, like, that these strategies were so bad that

00:29:48.460 Hillary Clinton, like, high-fived herself and was like, this is going to be so good. We're going to

00:29:52.520 get Donald Duck in a costume. And so he ducked his taxes. I know what the youths are after. I know what

00:29:57.600 the youths really want. I know. Donna Brazile really is a Johnny-come-lately on this because she did 1.00

00:30:02.480 cheat on behalf of Hillary Clinton. But whatever. It is fun to watch it crash and burn. I'm a little

00:30:07.000 actually upset with Donna Brazile because right now, she, Elizabeth Warren, Democrats are just

00:30:13.100 completely murdering Hillary Clinton. Who knows why? Maybe they're worried that Mueller is going to

00:30:19.020 implicate Clinton and Podesta in his investigation. Who knows? But it's too bad because I was waiting

00:30:25.300 for Hillary 2020, Hillary 2024, Hillary 2020. Hillary now more than ever. Hillary Clinton forever.

00:30:32.480 Paul Bois, your eminence. This reminds me of when M. Night Shyamalan began to exert complete

00:30:38.400 creative control over his movies and he never made a good movie ever again. Is this evidence

00:30:43.220 that campaigns need decentralized power? Oh, quite the contrary, Michael.

00:30:49.360 I know you love M. Night Shyamalan. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so quick.

00:30:51.620 Oh, quite the contrary, Michael. I so wish Hillary just got her complete way with all of this. 1.00

00:30:57.740 And Donald Duck was there at the DNC at every single rally of hers. I mean, it just would have

00:31:06.420 been so beautiful. Yeah. Just one more reason to be glad that Hillary is not sitting in the Oval 1.00

00:31:12.220 Office right now. I mean, it just really speaks to how clueless she actually is. I mean, why would 0.99

00:31:18.740 you want to associate Donald Trump with a beloved Disney character? It'd be like Trump associating Hillary

00:31:25.740 Clinton with Betty Boop. It makes no sense. The alternative actually was that they would send

00:31:30.920 protesters dressed up as Uncle Sam and Hillary vetoed. I mean, this is not a joke. Hillary vetoed

00:31:35.680 that because she thought Donald Duck was funnier. But their other option was to associate Trump with

00:31:40.200 America itself. Absolutely incredible. You're right. Maybe we need more centralization for Democrats

00:31:46.420 and Democrat campaigns because just as we saw in the Soviet Union, you centralize all that power,

00:31:51.660 it is just going to collapse of its own weight. Ariel, is this evidence of Ann Coulter's thesis

00:31:57.780 that despite all the sideshows and the reality TV of this campaign, voters ultimately care about

00:32:04.000 issues, not gimmicks? I actually will even push back further on that. I read a piece today and for

00:32:11.300 the life of me, I cannot remember the name of the author, but it was basically saying that Trump's

00:32:15.680 victory was really about electing a cultural president as opposed to necessarily a policy-oriented

00:32:22.960 president. That's not to say that Trump won't carry out certain policies, but when it came to sort of

00:32:28.340 the percolating culture war that was evolving under Obama's eight years, really, Trump was sort of a

00:32:34.420 declaration more so in the cultural war. Now, the policy implications of that are very strong,

00:32:39.140 but I do see that thesis as being something that's definitely worth arguing. Well, I don't disagree

00:32:45.420 with that at all. I would lump that in, though, with issues. Not all issues are about lowering the

00:32:50.720 tax rate. These culture war issues have been bubbling up for a long time. Everything else is

00:32:55.260 just accounting, basically, but sometimes you see campaigns delve into stupid little sideshows like 0.98

00:33:01.140 Donald Duck or the Pokemon Go or my NCAA bracket. I don't know. I don't think it's about the tweets. 0.99

00:33:08.420 I think it's about the content of it. No, it is. It is. And I actually got in a disagreement with

00:33:13.180 someone about this on Twitter because I said, you know what? Even if McCain is voting against

00:33:18.100 repealing Obamacare, even if he's doing it in a dignified way, I'm still going to fundamentally

00:33:22.320 disagree with him. I'm going to support the candidate who is, even if he's a little rough

00:33:26.860 around the edges, is actually supporting and promoting the policies I want. If you are the one

00:33:31.700 that's voting against Obamacare appeal and then complaining about Trump's tweets, I don't want to hear it.

00:33:36.620 This is a taste versus content issue. I understand that. There are people within the GOP that

00:33:41.620 prioritize taste over content. I am not one of them. Do I think Trump could clean up his tweets?

00:33:46.020 Absolutely. Do I think he's a little rough around the edges? Yes, I do. But when it comes to content,

00:33:51.680 I think that's the most important driving factor for me as a voter.

00:33:54.980 Absolutely. I couldn't agree more. All right. That's our show. Listen, we've gotten so much.

00:34:00.580 That is our show today because we're a capitalist show right here. So we got to go and make some

00:34:04.000 money. I will say my guest and frequent Michael Knowles Show panel, Deplorables panelist,

00:34:10.120 Candace Owens, is heading over to the Rubin Report. There's going to be a smackdown between another 1.00

00:34:16.440 Michael Knowles Show friend, Blair White. So definitely look out for that. That's going to be a lot of fun.

00:34:20.960 We'll have three panel of Deplorables people all just yelling viciously at one another. So it should

00:34:26.960 be a lot of fun. I can't wait to go watch that. The rest of the panelists, Ariel Davidson, your
