00:01:14.980 because people are looking around right now at the country and they say, what is the problem? Is it

00:01:18.540 race? Is it sex? Is it the economy? Is it certain political rights? And what Trump saw is that the

00:01:24.580 problem is one of history, how we understand our history, how our history is taught. The fact is

00:01:33.580 the future of our country lies in the way we look at the past. And what he sees right now is an

00:01:39.500 encroaching politically correct leftist fascism that is going to destroy our national foundation.

00:01:47.840 In our schools, our newsrooms, even our corporate boardrooms, there is a new far left fascism that

00:01:57.060 demands absolute allegiance. If you do not speak its language, perform its rituals, recite its mantras,

00:02:07.260 and follow its commandments, then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted,

00:02:15.600 and punished. It's not going to happen to us.

00:02:52.860 job. You'll get deplatformed. You will lose your livelihood. You'll lose your reputation. You'll be

00:02:56.440 kicked out of school. It, it never ends. So how do we stop it? What president Trump pointed out at this

00:03:04.180 excellent speech at Mount Rushmore is that all of this is the predictable result of years and years

00:03:11.460 and decades of indoctrination lies about our past through the mainstream media and through the schools.

00:03:18.900 So what does president Trump think we have to do instead of just complaining about this, which is

00:03:25.440 good. There's an effect to that. What he did, he used this opportunity, this historic speech at Mount

00:03:30.420 Rushmore to give a simple history lesson about our founders. The radical view of American history

00:03:39.240 is a web of lies. All perspective is removed. Every virtue is obscured. Every motive is twisted.

00:03:52.040 Every fact is distorted. And every flaw is magnified until the history is purged and the record is

00:04:00.620 disfigured beyond all recognition. This movement is openly attacking the legacies of every person

00:04:10.240 on Mount Rushmore. They defile the memory of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt.

00:04:25.720 And that's what he did. Trump just went on and he talked about the actual history of Washington,

00:04:32.200 of Jefferson, of Teddy Roosevelt, of Abraham Lincoln. It, it was pitch perfect. I thought

00:04:38.540 the speech was magnificent. Whoever wrote it did a spectacular job and Trump in delivering it

00:04:43.920 did a spectacular job. You know, it goes back so much further than we're willing to admit. We'll say,

00:04:48.800 okay, somewhere around 2015, 2014, that's when the campuses went crazy. That's when history started

00:04:54.500 to go crazy. That's when you had the shrieking girl at Yale. That's all these kinds of incidents

00:04:58.300 that were so, so viral. It goes back much further. There was a study that came out of ISI,

00:05:04.640 the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. I think in 2007, it was 07 or 08. The study was of graduating

00:05:12.900 seniors at elite schools, you know, all the big brand name schools and what they knew about their

00:05:18.580 history, their civics and their politics in America. What it found was, I kid you not,

00:05:24.680 seniors graduating from these schools, they've just spent tens of thousands of dollars, hundreds

00:05:29.080 of thousands of dollars on an education, knew less about their country's history and politics and

00:05:35.580 government than incoming freshmen. They had gotten more ignorant over time. Their own country and our

00:05:43.720 understanding of it had been completely distorted while they were in school. And that of course is

00:05:49.160 what we're seeing just anecdotally, anecdotally and as a matter of data. So Trump gives this great

00:05:55.120 history lesson. That was terrific. Now as a practical matter of politics, what is he going to do? Two

00:06:00.400 things. He's going to do two things to stop the carnage, the, the statue toppling, the mayhem in our

00:06:06.460 country. And each of those is very important. One practical in the short term, one very important in the

00:12:50.020 familial love of the Confederacy or anything like that. And I don't have any, uh, long standing

00:12:55.920 ancestral history to the South, but we should build up those Confederate monuments again. We should.

00:25:47.280 crazy? Did she disavow tearing down statues of Washington? No, she said that's something we should

00:25:52.360 seriously consider. George Washington, I don't think anybody would call him a traitor. And there

00:25:58.140 are moves by some to remove statues of him. Is that a good idea? I think we should listen to the

00:26:05.600 everybody. I think we should listen to, to the argument there. But remember that the president

00:26:10.240 at Mount Rushmore was standing on ground that was stolen from Native Americans who had actually been

00:26:16.040 given that land during a treaty. Um, and again, let's talk about the greater context of where we

00:26:22.260 are in our country right now. It's open discussion for everybody. We got to hear all points of view.

00:34:29.960 could be saying it's the 2020 vision, but I'm going to run next time. But now Kanye, who's

00:34:33.960 friends with Donald Trump, says he's running for president this year, even though it's too

00:34:38.260 late to get on the ballot in most states. I'm a little skeptical that this is actually going

00:34:43.800 to work out. The thing I want to point out here though, is Kanye West sent that tweet

00:34:47.560 at 5.38 PM on July 4th. Two minutes earlier at 5.36 PM, I tweeted out my take on Kanye's

00:34:58.020 latest song and I tweeted it at him. And I pointed out that this is the quote from the tweet, Kanye

00:35:05.640 West has a more sophisticated understanding of liberty than most self-described conservatives

00:35:09.340 and libertarians. Two minutes later, Kanye announces also on Twitter that he's running

00:35:15.120 for president. So like, I'm not saying I did this, but you know, maybe I did this. So sorry

00:35:25.280 or you're welcome, depending on your view of this thing. I think it's, it's perfectly fun.

00:35:30.100 I think it's all well and good. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump put him up to it. I wouldn't

00:35:33.800 be. I don't think so. Kanye is his own man and he does things that are unexpected sometimes

00:36:18.380 but I don't think that's the case. However, I think there are plenty of people who maybe they're

00:36:23.300 not that political. Maybe they don't feel any particular pull to Joe Biden or Donald Trump

00:37:46.460 for, for bad, all the badness. And by the way, if the English monarchy is not an institution,

00:37:52.700 I don't know what is. So I guess he would have to be responsible for this. Harry probably always

00:37:57.160 viewed himself as a good guy. We always thought he's fine and no one, we don't think he's some

00:38:00.620 bigot, but he has to apologize for the institutional racism. It was very, very pathetic.

00:39:16.180 the madness and the mayhem and the rioting, not just in the U S but also in the UK, all around the

00:39:20.960 world. That rioting, that madness leads to terrible results for everybody. Over the weekend, a, a non-binary

00:39:29.060 white ally of the Black Lives Matter Marxist organization was killed. She was killed while

00:39:37.900 protesting on the highway at night. She, she was on the I-5 highway at night. When you are walking

00:39:46.920 around a highway, obviously that's a dangerous place to be. So how did she end up on the highway

00:39:50.720 at night where there's no evidence that the driver intentionally killed her though? Maybe he did. I

00:39:55.900 don't know. It's on, it's very unclear. I mean, he does speed up. He, he hits them, but they just

00:40:00.360 don't, they just don't know the motive at this point. How do you end up on the highway at night?

00:40:05.700 Well, what happened was the police decided they were the, this BLM organization, this anarchist

00:40:10.980 organization decided to close, they were going to march on the highway. So instead of the police

00:40:15.360 saying, no, you're not going to do that, we're going to arrest you. If you try to do that,

00:40:18.020 they closed down part of the highway. But just because you say, okay, we're going to close part of

00:40:24.160 this highway. That doesn't make that a safe situation. It is never safe to walk on the

00:40:28.120 highway, particularly at night. Don't do it. So they do this. This woman very sadly gets killed.

00:40:34.460 Now I knew from the very beginning that this was not a white guy who drove the car. The way I knew

00:40:42.540 that is if it had been a white guy who drove the car, that would have been the story. White supremacist,

00:40:49.120 white nationalist killer. Even though the victim was white, it would have been, this was an attack

00:40:55.580 on Black Lives Matter. But I knew, I knew for a fact that the driver was not a white guy because

00:41:01.520 of the media coverage. So Kamala Harris, the Senator writes, absolutely heartbreaking. Summer

00:41:05.440 Taylor was only 24 years old, peacefully protesting for Black Lives Matter. Again, it's not a peaceful

00:41:10.540 protest when you shut down a highway, but neither here nor there. When they were, when they were

00:41:15.260 struck by a car because this, this woman doesn't believe that she's a woman or didn't believe that

00:41:19.800 she's a woman. Thinking of their family during this difficult time and everyone in the movement

00:41:23.340 today. So this is very irresponsible stuff because what Kamala Harris is doing here is encouraging

00:41:27.560 more people to get out on the highway. And regardless of whether you agree with the political

00:41:31.320 views of the people protesting, it's always very sad when people die and more people will die

00:41:35.780 because of this, because of this kind of encouragement. But it's being, it's still being

00:41:41.220 posited as this anti-Black Lives Matter attack. ABC News, protester dies after being, after struck

00:41:50.940 by speeding car at Black Lives Matter freeway demonstration in Seattle. But no mention of

00:41:56.620 the race of the driver. You can go through the whole article, no mention of the race of

00:42:01.120 the driver. Then you find out the suspect who was arrested for doing it, his name is Dawit

00:42:06.360 Khalit. He is a black guy. And it's not even that they don't mention the race. I don't

00:42:11.140 care that they don't mention the race of these suspects. It's that if this were flipped, the

00:42:17.060 whole story would be about race. And it would be about how this ties in perfectly with America's

00:42:22.920 past and the original sin of America. And we've always been rotten and racist and it's a white

00:42:29.460 supremacist holiday on the 4th of July. And this is just another example of it. This is what

00:42:35.300 they do on the left. This is how they rewrite history. When there is a, an example that does

00:42:42.760 not fit their narrative, the example is treated as just a one-off incident. When any, any example

00:42:49.060 they can find buttresses their narrative of America as a hopelessly racist place historically,

00:42:53.780 it's considered part of this trend, part of the history. Nine unarmed black men, not nine

00:43:01.220 non-dangerous men, not nine innocent men, just nine unarmed black men were killed last year by

00:43:07.740 police. But even just use that number, even say none of them should have been killed,

00:43:11.540 even though the killings were justified in certain cases. Nine, not 90,000, not 9,000, not 900, not 90,

00:43:18.780 nine. Those are incidents. Those are not reflective of the broadest historical trend of how Americans have

00:43:26.840 always been slaughtering black people. Isn't the case, but that battle is over history. And the battle

00:43:34.740 over history is where they will be able to take us in the future. They're tearing down statues of

00:43:40.940 Frederick Douglass. Frederick Douglass, the black abolitionist. They're tearing down statues of

00:43:48.680 Frederick Douglass. Some were torn down in Rochester, New York, local media reported. Now it's unclear who

00:43:54.660 did it. Was it Black Lives Matter who did it? Maybe. Was it Antifa who did it? Maybe. If so,

00:43:58.840 it will be excused and ignored. If they find out that it was a white right winger who did it,

00:44:05.400 then this will be blasted over the news ad nauseum. And it will prove the double standard,

00:44:11.400 right? Because you can tear down statues of everybody. It's fine. It's a good thing. It's

00:44:15.100 wonderful. But you tear down a statue of Frederick Douglass. If it's, if it's a white, white guy,

00:44:20.800 white nationalist, white supremacist who does it, this will be considered indicative of this

00:44:24.500 long historical trend in American history. Either way though, of course, it shows the absurdity of

00:44:29.860 this and it shows this historical battle. There was a viral video over the weekend from TikTok of

00:44:35.620 these two girls talking about their view of American history, which I think has become a common view

00:44:42.160 among the youth. I'm ashamed to be an American where not all folks are free. And I won't forget the

00:44:51.640 enslaved who died and built this place for free. So I proudly lift up all the folks who are still

00:44:58.800 oppressed today. Cause there ain't no doubt this ain't our land. Trump and the USA.

00:45:06.400 Two white liberal gals. That's the view. That's the radical view. And it's the view that comes

00:45:14.300 naturally from liberalism because you've always got to be, you know, even, even the idea that

00:45:20.060 you're liberating yourself from the oppression of say the British monarchy or King George the third

00:45:45.800 for much of my life in New York and in LA. Technically Hamilton is, is fine for a modern musical.

00:45:54.400 You know, it's a rap musical in large part, so that's not great, but it's okay. I mean,

00:45:58.520 as far as modern musicals go, it's, it's fine. I love Hamilton. I'm a big admirer of Alexander

00:46:03.260 Hamilton, the historical figure, not necessarily the musical and Lin-Manuel Miranda is a talented

00:46:08.340 composer. So it was fine. I was thinking, what do I think of Hamilton? Hamilton is ultimately a bad

00:46:16.220 musical for America, bad for a present moment for a couple of reasons, even though it's very kind to

00:46:22.280 the founding fathers, very kind to Alexander Hamilton, we're celebrating the founding era. That's a lot of

00:46:26.020 fun. There's a, an, an unfortunate message being sent, which is the problem of this is the genre

00:46:35.800 of the music coupled with the liberation narrative that is obviously intrinsic to the story sends a

00:46:42.080 very racially divisive message. The genre is rap for, for all the good guys rap. And then the bad guy,

00:46:48.800 King George sings classic show tunes. Now the rappers, the, all the good guy characters and some of the bad

00:46:55.500 guys, but at least they're all on the good side, meaning the colonists and the Patriots.

00:46:59.780 They're all played by black or Hispanic characters, uh, actors. That's the casting. It's not colorblind

00:47:05.880 casting. Some people think it's colorblind casting, which is where you cast anybody of any race for

00:47:10.000 any part. That's not the case. And the creators of the show said, this is not colorblind. It's

00:47:14.200 specifically people of color for the, the good guy characters, at least good guys as so much as it's

00:47:19.700 the colonists and the Patriots. The bad guy is played by a white guy. His, that's King George,

00:47:23.560 who has a great performance. The two best performances are King George and Aaron Burr.

00:47:28.340 Leslie Odom Jr. Does a great job, but I understand why it's people of color being cast for the

00:47:33.600 largely rapping roles because, you know, nobody wants to see Nathan Lane or Matthew Broderick

00:47:38.140 rapping. Okay. It's just not very convincing. Rap historically, traditionally views itself through a

00:47:43.400 racial prism, right? As a, as a racial kind of art form. So, okay, we've got this, this rap genre,

00:47:51.620 which leads to certain casting. Maybe they would have cast it that way anyway. Coupled with the

00:47:55.500 liberation narrative then, the message you're getting is rap liberating itself. The good,

00:48:01.100 new, young, oppressed form of music, rap, liberating itself from the traditional stodgy

00:48:06.480 oppressive form of music, which is the Broadway show tunes. The inevitable consequence of that

00:48:11.840 message, given the casting, is that you have the people of color, all oppressed, liberating

00:48:16.520 themselves from the stodgy old oppressive white guy who is King George. That's a divisive message.

00:48:23.580 That's not a unitive message, particularly at this moment. And I don't think it's because Lin

00:48:29.960 Manuel Miranda is some kind of radical. I think he's just a liberal. I think he's a progressive.

00:48:33.980 I think that's the view of history. And it's a view now shared by Joe Biden. It's a view shared by

00:48:38.860 everybody on the left, but it shows you the stakes. This is not just a handful of radicals tearing down

00:48:43.880 statues of Washington. This is the fundamental battle line between the left in America,

00:48:51.520 anyone who works in the arts, all the way up to Joe Biden, the presidential candidate,

00:48:55.560 the left, which wants to tear down the country, which will twist and pervert beyond recognition

00:49:02.300 our actual history to create a fairytale narrative that will allow them to control the future versus

00:49:08.060 the right, the conservatives who want to conserve things, who realize that the left is selling

00:49:14.880 people a bill of goods, that they are no better and they are actually worse than our forefathers.
