The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 584 - The Tinfoil Hat-Trick

00:00:00.000 It has been 1,352 days since the 2016 presidential election.

00:00:09.220 And Hillary Clinton is still complaining about how she did not win. 0.99

00:00:13.020 And more than that, she's still peddling a conspiracy theory that she was cheated 1.00

00:00:17.820 out of the White House by Trump, by Roger Stone, by, worst of all, Russia, by collusion.

00:00:25.680 Here is her cockamamie theory. 0.99

00:00:27.640 Well, I think it's pretty clear that Stone threatened him.

00:00:32.260 He probably threatened him privately, but he also threatened him publicly about what

00:00:36.400 he would say if he had to go to prison.

00:00:39.120 And this is a continuation of the cover-up.

00:00:42.280 It's an ongoing cover-up that Trump and Stone are two of the major participants in to try

00:00:49.740 to prevent us from knowing all of the details about what they actually did in 2016.

00:00:55.080 Some of it was very public.

00:00:57.740 I mean, asking Russia in public to interfere in an American election, but some of it was

00:01:04.980 clandestine, behind the scenes, sending messages, the kinds of things that we know about, and

00:01:10.580 I think much more.

00:01:11.440 So what he did was to use the awesome power of commutation as part of the pardon power of

00:01:18.780 the president to basically shut up Roger Stone so that Roger Stone would not spill any more

00:01:27.340 beans about what actually happened and how much Donald Trump actually knew.

00:01:31.400 Roger Stone and Donald Trump must get so much pleasure out of watching this woman dissemble 1.00

00:01:37.300 like this because it was Stone, it was Trump, it was Putin, it was Boris, it was Natasha,

00:01:41.760 it was everybody's fault but her own.

00:01:43.880 And so she's now attacking Trump for using the pardon power.

00:01:47.280 Do you know how many times Trump has used the pardon power or the power of commutation?

00:01:50.400 36 times.

00:01:51.540 Do you know how many times Hillary Clinton's husband used the pardon power and power of commutation?

00:01:55.200 456 times.

00:01:58.220 One of the most famous abusers of the pardon power ever for political reasons.

00:02:02.840 Hillary says there was a conspiracy to hurt her, keep her out of the White House. 0.96

00:02:07.660 In fact, we know there was a proven conspiracy to try to keep Trump out of the White House

00:02:12.680 through the politicization of the FBI and DOJ.

00:02:16.100 The problem was that conspiracy didn't work.

00:02:19.160 Lots of double standards going on here between how the mainstream apparatus,

00:02:25.380 the establishment, big tech, news media are treating the leftist conspiracy theories

00:02:30.840 compared to the right ones.

00:02:32.720 We will plunge the depths of conspiracy.

00:02:35.560 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:02:36.460 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:45.680 Welcome back to the show.

00:02:47.580 Not all conspiracies are made equal.

00:02:50.500 Some are a little more dangerous than others.

00:02:52.620 Who is Mr. Q?

00:02:56.700 Who is the Q? 0.95

00:02:57.940 Have you heard of Q?

00:02:59.320 Q is the most dastardly, awful, terrible conspiracy theory in the whole wide world.

00:03:05.040 It's so bad that Twitter is going to start banning accounts that talk about it.

00:03:11.220 Talk about that thing that I don't really know very much about.

00:03:14.580 Twitter tweets out yesterday.

00:03:15.840 It's from Twitter Safety.

00:03:16.820 The Committee for Safety.

00:03:18.880 You've got to watch out.

00:03:20.020 You're in danger because you might read words that you don't like.

00:03:23.800 We've been clear that we will take a strong enforcement action on behavior

00:03:27.220 that has the potential to lead to offline harm.

00:03:30.780 In line with this approach, this week we are taking further action on so-called QAnon activity

00:03:37.040 across this service.

00:03:38.880 QAnon.

00:03:39.360 I don't know very much about QAnon.

00:03:41.760 We get some questions about it sometimes, but I haven't looked into it particularly deeply.

00:03:47.540 But from what I gather from the Twitter Safety tweet, this is a very dangerous conspiracy theory.

00:03:54.740 Very dangerous conspiracy theory that is percolating on the right.

00:03:58.660 And so they've got to shut down any account that's in any way associated with it.

00:04:02.460 But I notice Twitter Safety doesn't care that much about dangerous conspiracy theories

00:04:08.300 percolating on the left that lead to offline harm.

00:04:11.740 For instance, there is a conspiracy theory out there held on the left by, you know, 0.95

00:04:17.360 kind of kooky people on the left that black people are the real Jews and the Jews are the fake Jews. 0.69

00:04:23.560 You would have seen this conspiracy theory just in the last week because Nick Cannon 0.62

00:04:27.420 very famously endorsed this theory.

00:04:30.260 Louis Farrakhan, who is a hate monger, who's still on Twitter, by the way.

00:04:35.940 These people have promoted this idea.

00:04:38.320 Sometimes you see people on street corners talking about it, but you've seen a lot of people

00:04:41.380 on Twitter talking about it.

00:04:42.420 And then actually when Nick Cannon was forced to make an apology, a lot of the responses to

00:04:46.400 that tweet said, come on, stand up.

00:04:47.920 You add the truth.

00:04:48.700 Tell the truth.

00:04:49.160 So that's also a conspiracy theory, by the way, that has led to violence in the real world.

00:04:55.600 We know for a fact that's led to outside harm.

00:04:58.200 Twitter doesn't care about that one.

00:04:59.700 Here's another conspiracy theory on the left. 0.99

00:05:01.580 Racist cops are systematically slaughtering black men across the country. 0.99

00:05:07.220 Innocent black men. 1.00

00:05:08.680 It's not happening.

00:05:09.580 We went through the numbers of unarmed black men last year who were killed by police officers.

00:05:15.000 And by the way, don't forget unarmed does not mean not dangerous, does not mean that the

00:05:18.400 killing was not justified.

00:05:19.740 But the number is not 90,000, not 900, not 90.

00:05:24.320 It's nine.

00:05:25.600 Nine. 0.57

00:05:26.540 So that is a ridiculous conspiracy theory. 0.96

00:05:28.700 And now cops are being killed because of that conspiracy theory all around the country. 0.83

00:05:32.900 Twitter encouraging that, pushing it on, using the hashtag Black Lives Matter, which is used

00:05:37.200 to organize those kind of violent riots by self-avowed trained Marxists.

00:05:42.760 And then the third conspiracy theory that was allowed to percolate and still is, that Donald

00:05:47.380 Trump, the man we've known for 40 years, is actually a Manchurian candidate, a stooge for 1.00

00:05:52.200 Russia. 0.99

00:05:52.520 That's the most ridiculous conspiracy theory of all. 0.93

00:05:55.420 That one was pushed by the DOJ, the FBI, big tech, the mainstream media, every mainstream 0.93

00:06:01.180 publication.

00:06:02.100 It's still being pushed, even though we now know for a fact it didn't happen because we

00:06:06.480 had a two and a half year, multi-multi-million dollar investigation from Bob Mueller.

00:06:12.400 Came up with zilch.

00:06:13.980 What about those?

00:06:15.880 I think those conspiracy theories, in particular the Russia one, have had a far greater outsized

00:06:21.120 impact on the real world than some tweets about Q.

00:06:26.360 Don't you think?

00:06:27.320 I think so.

00:06:28.220 And yet, Twitter, everybody's only targeting those right-wing conspiracies.

00:06:34.040 This idea of the conspiracy theory, they always just throw it on the right.

00:06:38.880 The left has many crazy conspiracy theories.

00:06:42.020 They have many crazy theories in general.

00:06:43.780 They think men can be women and they think babies aren't babies. 0.82

00:06:46.220 But they're not treated in the same way.

00:06:48.080 And even that category, that idea of going after the conspiracy theory, is a way to push

00:06:55.980 cockamamie left-wing theories and suppress right-wing theories.

00:07:01.380 We will turn to some strange shenanigans, speaking of conspiracies, that do have a lot

00:07:06.040 of evidence.

00:07:07.660 Over in Nashville, you've heard me talk yesterday.

00:07:10.320 I mentioned that a friend of mine in Los Angeles went in to take a coronavirus test.

00:07:15.060 The line was like two hours long, so she signed in, but she didn't take the test.

00:07:18.080 She leaves, and then she gets a call a day or two later that said that she tested positive.

00:07:24.780 But she obviously didn't test positive because she didn't take the test. 0.98

00:07:27.960 Now, we've gotten people writing into this show who have said that multiple times.

00:07:31.540 I've gotten probably three letters about that already.

00:07:34.080 We know that Texas had to adjust some numbers, about 3,000 numbers or more, of their positive

00:07:41.560 coronavirus cases because the reporting was bad, because they were not actually confirmed

00:07:45.620 cases.

00:07:45.960 Now, there's a guy in Nashville who went on the local news channel to talk about the same 0.88

00:07:50.500 damn thing happened to him.

00:07:52.660 I'm 100% sure that's what she said, because she's looking right at it, and she's specifically 0.99

00:07:58.540 told me, I'm right here in the system, that you're showing positive.

00:08:02.240 She says, well, I'm still seeing that you're positive.

00:08:05.380 It's just a courtesy call to check your symptoms.

00:08:07.620 I don't know what's going on, but it's wrong.

00:08:10.880 And then I'm just another number when I'm not.

00:08:14.260 I like his take.

00:08:15.620 He said, I don't know what's going on, but it's wrong.

00:08:18.140 It's obviously wrong because the guy doesn't have coronavirus.

00:08:22.480 When we think about this, does it have to be some elaborate conspiracy theory with the

00:08:27.380 Illuminati and the Freemasons? 0.54

00:08:30.420 No, not necessarily.

00:08:32.600 I mean, obviously, the reason that conspiracy theories take hold is that sometimes there

00:08:36.520 are conspiracies.

00:08:37.440 You know, we've been talking about Jeffrey Epstein recently, talk about a conspiracy theorem.

00:08:42.120 That's one that was proven true. 0.96

00:08:43.420 There actually was an international elite pedophile ring that had its own private island, and

00:08:50.680 Jeffrey Epstein was the guy running it.

00:08:52.320 Then Jeffrey Epstein, you know, didn't make it out of jail, and so they've got the other

00:08:56.980 gal, Ghislaine Maxwell.

00:08:58.040 But it implicated very high-level people.

00:09:00.440 It implicated Bill Clinton, who flew on the Lolita Express multiple times.

00:09:05.180 It implicated Prince Andrew, implicated lots of people.

00:09:07.900 People are trying to say it implicated Trump because Trump knew Epstein and Palm Beach,

00:09:12.260 and Palm Beach was a member, or Epstein was a member of Mar-a-Lago.

00:09:15.120 So I guess, I mean, even that doesn't look great, but he didn't fly on the jet quite like

00:09:20.180 Bill Clinton did.

00:09:21.200 Anyway, it involved a lot of upper-level people, and that's how conspiracy theories take

00:09:24.900 hold. 0.96

00:09:25.260 I'm not interested in that.

00:09:27.220 What I'm interested in is the gaslighting.

00:09:31.280 It's a slight distinction.

00:09:33.000 The conspiracy theory has this whole elaborate system.

00:09:35.780 What the gaslighting is, is when the left just lies to you, when they tell you not to

00:09:39.220 believe your own lying eyes.

00:09:40.480 And that is what they're doing right now, particularly on coronavirus.

00:09:43.700 Andrew Cuomo, who handled this coronavirus worse than any governor in the country, and

00:09:48.580 whose policies are responsible for thousands of senior citizen deaths.

00:09:52.900 Andrew Cuomo had the audacity to sit in front of a news conference and say that now, New

00:09:58.380 York, not only is handling this virus better than anybody, but that people are fleeing other

00:10:03.500 states to come to New York.

00:10:05.720 The problem is, you have it increasing now in 40 states across the nation.

00:10:14.080 How do you keep the virus in 40 states coming from New York?

00:10:18.900 We now have people coming to New York fleeing the other states because it's the quote-unquote

00:10:26.440 safe state.

00:10:28.480 So we have people coming here just for the purpose of fleeing the virus in their state.

00:10:34.300 I think I have a little insight into what Andy Cuomo is doing here because I happen to be

00:10:39.680 a New Yorker of Italian extraction, just like Andy Cuomo.

00:10:44.600 There's a little bit of an exaggeration factor that goes on here when New Yorkers are BSing.

00:10:49.460 So what he's trying to say is, I'm not responsible for thousands of people's deaths.

00:10:53.140 I know that New York handled this worse than anybody, but please don't blame me.

00:10:56.260 That's what he's trying to say.

00:10:57.300 So he has to push a little too far.

00:10:59.500 So he says, oh yeah, New York's doing great.

00:11:01.460 Yeah, New York's doing better than anybody.

00:11:02.660 Actually, actually, you want to know what I hear from people?

00:11:04.720 People tell me all the time, they say they're coming to New York.

00:11:06.900 Oh yeah, they want to leave all their safe states and come where the virus is because

00:11:10.500 of how good we're doing.

00:11:11.360 Oh yeah, it's like the whole thing of like, this is the best pizza ever in the history

00:11:15.360 of the world.

00:11:16.080 You think that there has ever been a pizza better than the pizza at my pizza shop?

00:11:20.780 Never, never, ever.

00:11:22.060 Not in Naples, not anywhere, not at any time.

00:11:25.660 Historians will write about this pizza.

00:11:27.040 It's that kind of exaggeration factor.

00:11:28.880 Trump does it a little bit himself, but he's not doing it on important matters.

00:11:32.300 Trump will do that kind of thing when he's talking about crowd sizes, things that are

00:11:37.840 kind of tangential to a story.

00:11:39.960 Andy Cuomo is doing that when we're talking about the actual epidemic.

00:11:44.800 And it obviously erodes trust in institutions and it erodes trust in politicians.

00:11:50.320 And it's the reason that a lot of cockamamie theories take hold.

00:11:54.080 We will get to some more deception and gaslighting in New York.

00:11:59.280 But first, I've got to thank our friends over at Rock Auto.

00:12:02.440 You know, it can be very frustrating when you just need to get a simple thing fixed on your

00:12:07.940 car and it can take hours or days or lots of headaches or too much money.

00:12:13.320 RockAuto.com is a family business serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.

00:12:18.380 Go to RockAuto.com to shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.

00:12:24.480 Best thing here, this is my favorite part.

00:12:26.700 Prices at RockAuto.com are always reliably low and they are the same for professionals

00:12:31.640 and do-it-yourselfers.

00:12:32.940 So sometimes you go into the brick and mortar store and then you need a part and they don't

00:12:36.000 have the part and they order it online, probably from RockAuto.com.

00:12:38.680 Then it comes in, they charge you twice as much.

00:12:40.460 You don't need that.

00:12:41.500 For me, someone like me, I don't know very much about cars, but my cars do break sometimes.

00:12:45.920 Sometimes the RockAuto.com catalog is so easy to navigate that even I can do it.

00:12:53.080 Extraordinarily impressive.

00:12:54.300 They have a great selection.

00:12:55.600 Head on over to RockAuto.com right now.

00:12:58.600 See all the parts available for your car or truck.

00:13:01.160 Write Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, in their How Did You Hear About Us box so that they know 1.00

00:13:05.160 we sent you.

00:13:07.600 More deception in New York.

00:13:09.180 A little bit, I guess, this is some good news.

00:13:11.660 This is a little bit of a silver lining of our statue-toppling culture right now. 0.97

00:13:15.920 But I think it's to serve dishonest ends.

00:13:19.600 Since the beginning of the statue-toppling, we've said, okay, if you're going to tear

00:13:22.440 down George Washington because he was a bad guy, you're going to tear down Thomas Jefferson

00:13:26.880 because he was a bad guy.

00:13:28.180 How come nobody's tearing down Margaret Sanger?

00:13:30.960 Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood, the eugenicist who said very terrible

00:13:36.640 things on issues of race, for one, but also just on issues of human development.

00:13:44.600 She talked about how we need to get rid of people who are mentally handicapped or people 0.99

00:13:49.520 who have disabilities because they're undesirable. 1.00

00:13:52.780 So Planned Parenthood has this problem because Margaret Sanger founded them.

00:13:59.300 They still live out her philosophy and her name is on a number of buildings.

00:14:03.740 So the New York Planned Parenthood has disavowed Margaret Sanger over genetics.

00:14:08.640 Here's the New York Times story on this.

00:14:11.120 Ms. Sanger, a feminist icon and reproductive rights pioneer, supported a discredited belief

00:14:18.920 in improving the human race through selective breeding.

00:14:25.040 The problem is that Planned Parenthood may have torn down the statue, but they still support

00:14:31.620 that theory.

00:14:33.300 In fact, that's the only thing they support.

00:14:36.560 That's the whole point of Planned Parenthood.

00:14:38.440 Improving the race, the human race, through selective breeding.

00:14:43.400 Either improving the human race by liberating women from the shackles and bondage of motherhood.

00:14:50.060 That's one way that they think they're improving the human race. 0.99

00:14:52.840 And the other way they think they're improving the human race is by killing undesirable babies. 1.00

00:14:59.760 Undesirable. 0.99

00:15:00.380 That's the same word that Margaret Sanger used, right?

00:15:02.300 Maybe these babies are undesirable because the mothers, one, because they might have some 1.00

00:15:07.400 birth defects, or because the mothers don't like the fathers, or just because they don't

00:15:11.660 want them because the babies are unwanted. 0.99

00:15:16.060 Selective breeding.

00:15:17.760 That's the phrase that is, you know, absolutely unthinkable today, and that's why the New York

00:15:24.380 Times thinks they tore down the statue.

00:15:26.420 Selective breeding just means Planned Parenthood.

00:15:29.980 Planned Parenthood means selective breeding.

00:15:32.260 Planned means selective.

00:15:34.040 It's not all happening at once.

00:15:35.620 It's not totally arbitrary.

00:15:36.640 You're choosing it.

00:15:39.620 Breeding is parenthood. 0.66

00:15:42.000 It's a kind of inhuman way to talk about parenthood, but that's the, it is exactly what it means.

00:15:46.560 They haven't changed a damn thing.

00:15:49.720 They're not tearing down the statue because they want to change something.

00:15:52.640 The radicals on the streets of America are tearing down George Washington because they

00:15:57.680 want to fundamentally change America and get rid of George Washington's ideas.

00:16:01.860 And by taking down our admiration of George Washington, change the way that we think about

00:16:06.080 ourselves and how the country should be run.

00:16:08.420 The people taking down Margaret Sanger's name at the Planned Parenthood in New York

00:16:11.780 want to preserve exactly her mission.

00:16:15.520 They don't want to change anything.

00:16:17.000 They just want to deceive you.

00:16:20.200 That's it.

00:16:21.560 You know, Margaret Sanger at least was honest about what she thought and what she wanted to do.

00:16:25.720 Here, Planned Parenthood has the same eugenics policy. 0.87

00:16:28.400 They just, they just are dishonest about it.

00:16:31.640 That probably won't be taught in schools.

00:16:33.780 Something tells me.

00:16:35.320 People, people are taught, especially, I went to school in New York, right?

00:16:38.440 Went to K through 12 in New York.

00:16:40.820 Margaret Sanger has taught us this wonderful pioneer, feminist icon, all the same stuff

00:16:44.240 the New York Times was using to describe her.

00:16:48.200 That will probably not be taught in schools.

00:16:50.080 Though there will be a lot more radicalism taught in schools if Joe Biden gets elected president.

00:16:55.020 Because Joe Biden, this guy appears on camera, what, once every few days from the comfort

00:17:01.020 of his living room.

00:17:01.740 It could easily be edited.

00:17:03.220 It could easily be, be massaged so he doesn't put his foot in his mouth.

00:17:07.760 And he still manages to do it.

00:17:09.000 Most recently by saying that he wants, as part of his campaign platform, he wants the

00:17:14.760 Islamic faith to be taught in schools.

00:17:17.080 Look, one of the things I think is important, I wish, I wish we taught more in our schools

00:17:23.520 about the Islamic faith.

00:17:26.520 I wish we talked about all the great confessional faiths.

00:17:29.720 It's one of the great confessional faiths.

00:17:31.940 And what people don't realize, it's one of my avocation is theology, don't realize is

00:17:36.980 that we all come from the same root here in terms of our fundamental basic beliefs.

00:17:41.820 And I just want to thank you for giving me the opportunity, for being engaged, for committing

00:17:48.160 to action this November.

00:17:50.640 You're doing what's been, that's never been done before.

00:17:54.360 You're registering and turning out one million Muslim voters this November.

00:17:59.320 There we go.

00:18:00.220 I was wondering, where did Joe Biden get this recent love of Islam from?

00:18:04.540 Where did, since when is Joe Biden trying to set up madrasas all over the country?

00:18:08.860 Oh, it's because he's pandering for votes, as he always is.

00:18:12.420 So he says, we want to turn out a million Muslim voters and you got to vote for me.

00:18:15.460 And I want the Islamic faith taught in schools.

00:18:18.080 Consider the absurdity that we have come to.

00:18:22.680 It is unconstitutional to teach the Bible in schools, which means it's unconstitutional

00:18:28.840 to teach Christianity in schools.

00:18:30.480 Can't teach Christianity without reference to the Bible.

00:18:33.180 It's not possible.

00:18:33.960 So as of the mid-20th century, when the Supreme Court decided to legislate from the bench and

00:18:40.380 say that it's unconstitutional to teach the Bible in schools, and yet it's now being encouraged 0.97

00:18:46.160 to teach Islam in schools.

00:18:48.020 And this is the way it works.

00:18:49.020 I remember even when I was in high school and middle school, long, long ago, not that

00:18:54.100 long ago, in New York, we were taught much more about Islam than we were about Christianity.

00:19:00.440 We were taught much more about Islamic history than we were about Christian history.

00:19:04.960 We were taught much more about the Middle East than we were taught about European history.

00:19:09.040 European history course was an elective.

00:19:10.760 You had to choose to take that.

00:19:13.020 But the world history course, which focused heavily on Islam, was required for two years.

00:19:20.280 This is already happening.

00:19:21.480 It's not going to be Joe Biden who, you know, Joe Biden's pandering for votes that is going

00:19:26.960 to get this across the finish line.

00:19:28.160 There is a major double standard here.

00:19:30.680 Some people have said, well, Michael, they're just teaching about the faith.

00:19:33.480 Sure, all right, but they're not teaching about the Christian faith because you can't 0.99

00:19:36.380 teach about a faith without some reference to its source texts, right?

00:19:41.040 So you can say, no Bible, but yeah, we got to read the Hadiths.

00:19:44.280 I don't think so.

00:19:46.040 There's this double standard.

00:19:47.600 It's a double standard being leveled on how we teach faith and religion, how we respond to

00:19:54.940 our historical figures, how we build up statues and monuments, even on how we deal with conspiracy

00:19:59.320 theories.

00:20:00.060 There's a double standard.

00:20:02.000 Anything the right does is bad.

00:20:03.420 Anything the left does is good.

00:20:05.000 Anything the left wants is good.

00:20:08.160 And the effect on our schools isn't just on the curriculum.

00:20:11.280 It's on the teachers themselves.

00:20:12.300 Even a teacher who, all this teacher said was to observe that Donald Trump is our president.

00:20:20.200 And that teacher got fired.

00:20:22.400 We will get to that story in just one second.

00:20:23.940 First, though, I've got to thank our friends over at Ancestry.

00:20:26.480 I love learning about my family history and where my family came from.

00:20:32.820 As history is being erased all around us, it's very edifying to take a little bit of control

00:20:39.800 and hold over your own history.

00:20:42.220 Learn the story yourself.

00:20:43.580 An Ancestry DNA test tells you where your ancestors are from and Ancestry's billions

00:20:48.260 of records and millions of family trees let you discover their personal stories.

00:20:52.860 You could find a famous relative.

00:20:54.140 You could maybe find a photo of your great-grandma as a little girl.

00:20:57.880 Whatever you find, it is sure to change the way you look at your family history

00:21:01.440 and, therefore, the way you look at yourself.

00:21:03.420 I love Ancestry.

00:21:04.320 I've been using Ancestry since before the Daily Wire even existed.

00:21:08.320 I think genealogy is a terrific hobby.

00:21:10.920 I love doing it, especially for people who are a little more history-inclined.

00:21:14.860 You know, you just, even for people who aren't, by the way,

00:21:17.560 it will get you excited about history because it's about your own family history.

00:21:21.420 Right now, start exploring your family history.

00:21:23.820 Head over to my URL, Ancestry.com slash Knowles,

00:21:30.660 That is Ancestry.com slash Knowles.

00:21:32.960 K-N-W-L-E-S. 1.00

00:21:34.020 A teacher has been fired at the Walled Lake School District, just 30 miles northwest of Detroit,

00:21:43.180 not for saying anything crazy and outrageous and offensive or conspiratorial,

00:21:50.340 not for even offering his political preference,

00:21:54.920 though, as you know, many teachers talk about their political preferences all the time.

00:21:58.280 He simply observed the fact that Donald Trump is the president.

00:22:03.600 Here's the quote.

00:22:05.580 He tweeted out,

00:22:06.180 I'm done being silent.

00:22:07.860 Donald Trump is our president.

00:22:10.060 Don't at me.

00:22:11.280 You know, don't come at me.

00:22:12.980 Don't attack me for that.

00:22:13.800 If you now say Donald Trump is the president at this high school outside of Detroit,

00:22:21.280 you could be fired.

00:22:24.300 Here's what one parent said about it.

00:22:25.660 It kind of gives up the whole game.

00:22:27.240 Kind of shows us the lesson of how to deal with this.

00:22:29.980 This parent, who was quoted by the Washington Free Beacon, said,

00:22:34.500 Justin coached my son his entire high school career

00:22:37.500 and also was his AP history teacher and student leadership teacher for two years.

00:22:41.600 I know Justin very well.

00:22:43.720 If there's one thing that I would commend Justin for is he always tried to stay apolitical.

00:22:48.660 He always tried to stay right down the middle,

00:22:50.740 avoid political conversations,

00:22:52.220 and let the students make their own call based on their own life experiences.

00:22:57.720 Well, that's why.

00:22:58.600 That's why.

00:23:00.100 That's what we don't get.

00:23:01.280 That's what people on the right just cannot understand.

00:23:05.440 If you stand in the middle,

00:23:07.260 if you are quiet about your views,

00:23:09.460 if you don't attack people for their political views,

00:23:11.900 you think that you're being coy.

00:23:14.200 If you don't voice your opinion on Trump around the water cooler,

00:23:17.080 you think you're being coy.

00:23:19.420 You think you're playing it straight.

00:23:20.600 You're not.

00:23:21.300 You are outing yourself as a conservative.

00:23:23.940 Because that old idea of keep your mouth shut about politics

00:23:28.300 is not the way the left is operating right now.

00:23:31.680 This is why in Hollywood,

00:23:33.100 the left is always making these professions of faith to leftism.

00:23:36.660 I think a lot of the time it's not even because they want to.

00:23:38.700 It's because there's so much pressure to.

00:23:40.240 If you are not constantly professing your great adherence to leftism,

00:23:45.400 then you are assumed to be a conservative.

00:23:48.640 Actually, speaking of Hollywood,

00:23:49.940 that's how you can always tell the Hollywood conservatives.

00:23:51.660 The guy who's quiet on set about politics,

00:23:54.780 the guy who's quiet backstage about politics,

00:23:56.940 that's the conservative 99 times out of 100.

00:24:00.660 I could guarantee, I would put a lot of money down

00:24:04.060 and say the guy who's quiet and doesn't engage

00:24:06.740 in those political conversations in Hollywood,

00:24:09.540 that guy voted for Trump.

00:24:11.700 We can't remain in this defensive position.

00:24:14.880 The left is not going to allow us to remain in this defensive position.

00:24:18.180 They're not going to allow us to play by the old rules.

00:24:21.940 The left was happy to play by these rules of neutrality and free speech

00:24:26.460 when they were a political minority.

00:24:30.460 That's why the left pushed the free speech movement in the 1960s and 70s.

00:24:36.100 Why did they do that?

00:24:36.900 Is it because they loved free speech?

00:24:38.460 No, it's because their anti-American subversion was being silenced.

00:24:43.320 Rightly so in many cases.

00:24:45.220 And so they pretended to care about this principle of free speech.

00:24:48.180 And then the moment that they became the dominant cultural force,

00:24:51.760 they quashed free speech for everybody else.

00:24:54.100 We can't just go right back to that neutral playing ground.

00:24:56.820 It doesn't exist.

00:24:57.580 And frankly, it probably never existed.

00:25:00.240 If this teacher outside of Detroit,

00:25:02.700 if he had taught the lies of the 1619 Project,

00:25:06.060 if he had taught the demonstrated lie

00:25:08.600 that the New York Times has peddled to the tune of $3 million

00:25:11.300 and won a Pulitzer for,

00:25:13.160 that America was founded explicitly to protect slavery,

00:25:17.000 that teacher probably would have gotten a promotion. 0.98

00:25:19.560 But because he told a simple and obvious truth,

00:25:22.600 he lost his job.

00:25:25.920 That is a conspiracy.

00:25:28.000 You know, that's not a conspiracy theory.

00:25:30.380 We can see it before our own eyes.

00:25:32.360 I think some people are drawn like moths to a flame

00:25:35.280 to these kind of crazy, intricate conspiracy theories

00:25:38.760 because they're kind of fun to engage in.

00:25:42.620 They're signs of an active mind, right?

00:25:44.340 It's like playing a puzzle, right?

00:25:46.000 You put all these pieces together.

00:25:47.700 The real conspiracies are right in front of our eyes.

00:25:51.240 The FBI and the DOJ abused their power

00:25:54.020 to try to subvert the Trump campaign

00:25:56.940 and the 2016 election.

00:25:59.080 We know that.

00:26:00.640 That's a big conspiracy theory.

00:26:04.580 Conservatives in public education

00:26:07.480 or in academia are discriminated against.

00:26:10.380 We know that.

00:26:10.980 It's a conspiracy theorem.

00:26:13.620 We see it right before our eyes.

00:26:15.120 It's a little less saucy

00:26:16.440 than some of the more intricate stuff.

00:26:19.180 But that's where the battle is really being waged.

00:26:21.560 Here's another conspiracy theory

00:26:22.640 that the left,

00:26:24.240 or rather,

00:26:25.340 that's a conspiracy theory that the left is pushing,

00:26:27.620 that there is this epidemic of racist cops 0.95

00:26:29.740 gunning down unarmed innocent black men 0.98

00:26:31.500 around the country. 0.98

00:26:32.420 Maxine Waters, 0.81

00:26:34.140 one of the craziest 0.94

00:26:35.320 and most dangerous members of Congress, 0.63

00:26:37.900 Maxine Waters,

00:26:38.420 who called for leftist mobs

00:26:40.620 to attack conservatives in public

00:26:43.000 just a few years ago.

00:26:45.560 Maxine Waters pulled over her car recently 0.97

00:26:47.840 because she saw a traffic stop

00:26:48.960 and she got out of her car

00:26:50.160 in the middle of the road

00:26:50.780 and started yelling at the cops

00:26:52.540 because the cops had pulled over 0.51

00:26:53.960 a black man in a car.

00:26:56.200 So that video being filmed

00:27:13.760 by the people who were pulled over

00:27:15.180 and you see these cops,

00:27:17.760 they're on the side

00:27:18.740 and they threatened Maxine Waters.

00:27:20.540 They said,

00:27:20.780 you can't just leave your car

00:27:21.660 in the middle of the road

00:27:22.380 and get out and start yelling at us. 0.96

00:27:24.060 We might give you a ticket

00:27:25.480 and then she flexed her political power 1.00

00:27:27.320 and they just let her off with a warning.

00:27:29.920 How outrageously disrespectful

00:27:31.780 for the civil authority

00:27:33.380 to come out and start screaming

00:27:35.600 at the law enforcement officers

00:27:38.200 without any evidence

00:27:39.360 that they're doing anything wrong

00:27:40.800 just based on a fiction

00:27:42.800 that there is this epidemic

00:27:44.440 of racist cops 1.00

00:27:45.620 killing black men around the country. 0.99

00:27:48.920 Maxine Waters explained to TMZ 1.00

00:27:51.120 what she was thinking.

00:27:51.680 She said,

00:27:52.280 my first thought was

00:27:53.440 not again,

00:27:55.280 not one more killing.

00:27:56.860 And I'm reflecting on all of the killings 0.93

00:27:58.720 of young black men in particular,

00:28:00.220 but of course black women too 1.00

00:28:01.500 at the hands of the police 0.99

00:28:02.960 and at the hands of these white supremacists. 0.95

00:28:05.020 And I'm thinking about the way 0.96

00:28:06.420 that the president conducts himself

00:28:07.900 in a way he's dog whistling.

00:28:09.780 And I think that they're feeling

00:28:11.540 that they can get away

00:28:12.500 with this kind of treatment.

00:28:13.480 And I'm just so sorry

00:28:14.540 about the loss of another life.

00:28:16.440 Nothing that woman said is true.

00:28:18.640 The only thing that's true

00:28:21.260 is that she felt it,

00:28:22.580 but nothing that she's saying

00:28:23.820 she felt is true.

00:28:26.660 It's, it is a,

00:28:27.640 that, the conspiracy theory

00:28:29.100 she's peddling there 0.97

00:28:29.980 is a lot crazier

00:28:31.180 than anything about Mr. Q.

00:28:33.160 Okay.

00:28:34.000 And Twitter is not going

00:28:35.140 to take that down.

00:28:35.780 They're not going to take down

00:28:36.480 Maxine Waters.

00:28:37.860 But it's so

00:28:39.120 calumnious.

00:28:40.920 It's so

00:28:41.700 outrageous

00:28:44.140 to say that our, 0.98

00:28:45.200 our cops are all killers.

00:28:47.280 Very, very few 0.99

00:28:48.500 single digits

00:28:49.360 we're talking about

00:28:50.300 officer involved killings

00:28:52.840 of unarmed black men.

00:28:54.200 And when you go through

00:28:55.060 those cases,

00:28:56.000 very often

00:28:57.200 those killings were justified 1.00

00:28:58.440 because you don't need

00:28:59.300 to be holding a gun

00:29:00.020 to pose a serious threat

00:29:01.620 to a cop.

00:29:04.300 Are they going to,

00:29:05.100 they're going to take down

00:29:05.700 Maxine Waters?

00:29:06.340 I don't think so.

00:29:08.060 Meanwhile,

00:29:08.820 while we talk about

00:29:09.520 the BLM movement,

00:29:10.920 or I suppose

00:29:12.940 while we don't talk

00:29:13.860 about the BLM movement,

00:29:15.480 BLM racks up 1.00

00:29:16.380 another body count.

00:29:17.560 They killed another person

00:29:18.680 in a major fire

00:29:20.760 that was lit

00:29:21.620 during the first riots

00:29:22.680 in Minneapolis.

00:29:23.800 We will get to that

00:29:24.340 in one second.

00:29:25.440 And then we will get

00:29:26.260 to the threat,

00:29:26.920 the implicit threat

00:29:27.920 from the left

00:29:28.860 at the bottom

00:29:29.820 of all of this.

00:29:31.140 First though,

00:29:31.760 I've got to thank you.

00:29:33.500 Be sure to hit that bell

00:29:47.400 And then get Ben's book.

00:29:48.620 Do I have a copy of it?

00:29:49.420 No, because I was

00:29:49.920 reading it yesterday.

00:29:51.300 Ben has a new book out.

00:29:53.880 It's called

00:29:54.180 How to Destroy America

00:29:55.020 in Three Easy Steps.

00:29:56.720 He did a live signing

00:29:57.600 about it yesterday

00:30:13.700 We'll be right back

00:30:14.240 with a lot more.

00:30:27.640 BLM racked up 1.00

00:30:28.720 another dead body

00:30:30.240 of people killed

00:30:32.540 by the BLM riots.

00:30:34.100 The Star Tribune

00:30:36.000 in Minneapolis reported

00:30:37.180 that they found

00:30:38.240 a charred body

00:30:39.340 of an unidentified man

00:30:41.500 within the wreckage

00:30:42.340 of a Minneapolis pawn shop

00:30:44.160 on Monday.

00:30:45.820 This was following

00:30:46.580 the torching

00:30:47.220 of that establishment

00:30:48.160 at the end of May.

00:30:49.880 The man who was found dead

00:30:51.240 is Chuck Horton Jr.,

00:30:52.840 43-year-old black male.

00:30:55.300 Oh, I'm sorry.

00:30:56.160 That's another death.

00:30:57.180 Sorry, there were two deaths.

00:30:58.100 The first one

00:30:58.720 was in the pawn shop

00:30:59.660 killed by BLM rioters. 0.53

00:31:02.080 The second one

00:31:03.000 is Chuck Horton Jr.,

00:31:04.640 43-year-old black male

00:31:05.820 who lay on the sidewalk

00:31:06.680 in front of

00:31:07.220 the Cadillac pawn shop

00:31:08.680 with a gunshot wound

00:31:09.980 to his torso.

00:31:11.020 He was not breathing.

00:31:12.800 A crowd of noisy protesters

00:31:15.480 gathered around,

00:31:17.700 but they didn't help him.

00:31:18.820 They just put him on video

00:31:20.140 with their phones

00:31:21.460 and speculated

00:31:22.500 about what took place.

00:31:23.700 All those wonderful,

00:31:24.640 peaceful protesters

00:31:25.380 watched a man

00:31:26.640 who had been killed

00:31:27.780 by the riots

00:31:28.640 bleeding out,

00:31:30.340 dying on the sidewalk.

00:31:31.580 Actually, it was a cop

00:31:32.660 who knelt down

00:31:33.540 by the man

00:31:34.060 and performed CPR

00:31:35.360 while a second cop

00:31:36.500 waved off the protesters

00:31:38.000 who were not only

00:31:38.720 doing nothing,

00:31:39.620 they were streaming

00:31:40.440 the death of a man

00:31:41.960 on the internet.

00:31:45.340 But the cops

00:31:46.060 are the bad guys

00:31:46.700 and the peaceful rioters

00:31:47.680 are the good guys.

00:31:49.460 That's a conspiracy theory.

00:31:51.600 Where's that one? 0.61

00:31:52.120 Does that one get kicked

00:31:52.720 off Twitter?

00:31:53.140 I don't think so.

00:31:54.000 Then the implicit threat.

00:31:55.500 People didn't realize

00:31:56.260 this was a threat,

00:31:56.960 but it's a threat.

00:31:57.400 This was in the New York Times.

00:31:58.800 It's written by Mimi Swartz.

00:32:01.800 Stay safe,

00:32:03.080 Justice Ginsburg.

00:32:04.680 This summer

00:32:05.360 has been hard enough.

00:32:07.440 First line,

00:32:08.440 the only word

00:32:08.980 to describe life

00:32:09.800 here right now

00:32:10.500 is this,

00:32:11.800 hell.

00:32:13.320 Talks about the pandemic

00:32:14.580 and the riots

00:32:15.560 and all the craziness.

00:32:17.460 Hell.

00:32:18.720 Yeah,

00:32:19.200 life has been

00:32:20.020 a little tough

00:32:20.440 for a lot of people

00:32:21.100 for the last few months

00:32:22.300 because the left

00:32:24.060 shut down our country

00:32:25.560 and our economy

00:32:26.580 for no reason

00:32:27.940 on the basis

00:32:29.280 of no scientific mandate

00:32:31.080 to indefinitely

00:32:33.300 lock down the country.

00:32:34.640 Then they torched

00:32:35.740 the whole country

00:32:36.380 and burned it to the ground

00:32:37.440 and then

00:32:37.980 where they had positions

00:32:39.100 of political power

00:32:39.760 told the cops

00:32:40.200 not to stop

00:32:40.680 the torching of the country

00:32:41.580 and the killing of people.

00:32:43.180 So yeah,

00:32:43.560 it's been pretty bad.

00:32:45.280 And then you get down

00:32:46.460 one,

00:32:46.920 two,

00:32:47.200 three,

00:32:47.520 four,

00:32:47.860 five,

00:32:48.180 six,

00:32:48.480 seven,

00:32:48.780 eight,

00:32:49.200 nine,

00:32:49.740 ten,

00:32:50.060 eleven paragraphs

00:32:50.940 before you get to the point

00:32:52.660 of this op-ed.

00:32:53.540 She writes,

00:32:55.400 quote,

00:32:56.260 of course,

00:32:56.980 one of the few people

00:32:57.840 standing between us

00:32:58.900 and chaos

00:32:59.660 is Justice Ginsburg,

00:33:02.660 the anti-Trump,

00:33:03.820 the benevolent,

00:33:04.560 if steely,

00:33:05.100 matriarch 1.00

00:33:05.700 to stop all this craziness

00:33:08.380 from going on further.

00:33:10.880 You see that?

00:33:11.480 One of the few people

00:33:12.280 standing between us

00:33:13.020 and chaos is Ginsburg.

00:33:14.060 Is that a description

00:33:14.820 or is that a prescription?

00:33:16.520 Is that a warning

00:33:18.020 or is that a threat?

00:33:19.400 The idea being

00:33:20.120 if Justice Ginsburg

00:33:20.960 dies,

00:33:21.780 is if there's a vacancy

00:33:22.600 on the court,

00:33:23.880 the country will descend

00:33:24.940 into madness

00:33:25.800 because that will be

00:33:26.720 the straw that broke

00:33:27.400 the Capitol's back

00:33:28.020 and we'll have,

00:33:29.280 I would say,

00:33:30.220 outright conflict.

00:33:31.180 We already have that

00:33:31.700 in the streets

00:33:32.120 but we have more conflict.

00:33:34.700 That's what the left

00:33:35.420 is telling us.

00:33:36.840 They're saying,

00:33:37.780 don't push it.

00:33:40.320 Don't defend the cops.

00:33:41.720 Don't defend your statues.

00:33:43.000 Don't defend your lives

00:33:43.780 or property

00:33:44.260 like the McCloskeys 1.00

00:33:45.400 in St. Louis

00:33:46.000 or we will arrest you

00:33:47.780 or we'll send mobs

00:33:48.620 to go get you.

00:33:49.520 The New York Times

00:33:50.140 almost sent a mob

00:33:51.000 to Tucker Carlson's

00:33:51.760 House just the other day.

00:33:52.700 He actually preempted

00:33:53.820 them on it

00:33:54.200 and stopped them

00:33:54.920 from doing it.

00:33:56.180 Maxine Waters

00:33:56.780 sent mobs

00:33:57.680 to go after

00:33:58.880 conservatives in public.

00:34:00.760 It's a threat.

00:34:03.600 They are,

00:34:04.540 they're,

00:34:04.840 when they take down

00:34:05.900 the conspiracy theories

00:34:06.920 from the internet,

00:34:07.440 they say,

00:34:07.920 well,

00:34:08.060 this might cause harm

00:34:08.980 to people

00:34:09.300 so we have to silence

00:34:10.300 anybody to the right

00:34:11.640 of Hillary Clinton.

00:34:13.780 You people

00:34:14.660 are calling for mobs

00:34:16.160 against conservatives.

00:34:17.700 That is calling for,

00:34:19.040 they don't care at all

00:34:20.580 about what violence

00:34:21.900 might happen online.

00:34:23.560 They only care

00:34:24.480 if there's violence

00:34:25.920 or if there's speech

00:34:27.260 even that will

00:34:28.460 undermine their position.

00:34:31.160 That is the threat.

00:34:32.780 Well,

00:34:32.940 meanwhile,

00:34:33.360 hopefully,

00:34:34.000 thankfully,

00:34:34.640 some people are

00:34:35.220 finally pushing back.

00:34:36.280 The Department of Homeland Security

00:34:37.380 is finally going at it

00:34:38.880 as the madness

00:34:39.560 in Portland

00:34:40.160 and the Pacific Northwest

00:34:41.000 continues to rage.

00:34:42.360 I mean,

00:34:42.520 looking like scenes

00:34:43.300 from a third world country.

00:34:44.920 Finally,

00:34:45.140 the Department of Homeland Security

00:34:46.280 is picking up the slack

00:34:47.640 where the local law enforcement

00:34:48.740 and the local civil authority

00:34:50.920 is not.

00:34:51.940 They are sending in people 1.00

00:34:52.800 to arrest the anarchists.

00:34:55.240 The DHS secretary

00:34:56.480 came on

00:34:57.340 to describe this

00:34:59.760 on Martha McCallum's show

00:35:01.640 just the other night

00:35:02.340 and he is being lambasted

00:35:04.040 for it.

00:35:04.980 They are saying,

00:35:05.780 the left is saying

00:35:06.440 that this guy

00:35:06.880 has absolutely no right

00:35:08.060 to do what he's doing.

00:35:09.740 Anytime that you attack

00:35:11.200 a federal facility

00:35:12.260 such as a courthouse

00:35:13.140 there in Portland,

00:35:14.280 that is a federal crime.

00:35:16.560 Attacking federal police officers,

00:35:18.600 law enforcement officers,

00:35:19.580 which they have done

00:35:20.320 for 52 nights in a row

00:35:22.300 is a federal crime.

00:35:24.160 And so the department,

00:35:25.080 because we don't have

00:35:25.900 that local support,

00:35:26.880 that local law enforcement support,

00:35:28.600 we are having to go out

00:35:29.820 and proactively arrest individuals

00:35:31.340 and we need to do that

00:35:32.840 because we need

00:35:33.300 to hold them accountable.

00:35:34.600 This idea

00:35:35.300 that they can attack

00:35:36.060 federal property

00:35:36.720 and law enforcement officers

00:35:37.740 and go to the other side

00:35:38.600 of the street

00:35:39.060 and say,

00:35:39.540 you can't touch me 0.99

00:35:40.260 is ridiculous. 0.98

00:35:41.260 We don't do that 0.98

00:35:41.780 in any other type

00:35:42.480 of law enforcement.

00:35:43.680 We pursue a criminal.

00:35:44.860 We investigate.

00:35:46.280 We pull them over

00:35:47.340 if you have probable cause.

00:35:48.920 We arrest them.

00:35:49.900 We charge them

00:35:50.460 and we prosecute them.

00:35:51.760 And you need to hold

00:35:52.700 individuals accountable.

00:35:54.160 And when we don't do that,

00:35:55.400 I think we get

00:35:56.180 what we see in Portland today.

00:35:57.480 Did he say anything objectionable?

00:36:00.500 No, of course not.

00:36:01.300 And yet this was a top trend

00:36:02.520 on Twitter yesterday

00:36:03.940 because the left was saying

00:36:06.380 that this was like

00:36:06.980 minority report.

00:36:08.480 He was going to go out

00:36:09.640 and arrest people

00:36:10.260 before they committed crimes.

00:36:12.140 Which reminds me

00:36:13.120 that the left apparently

00:36:13.940 doesn't know the meaning

00:36:14.580 of the word proactive.

00:36:17.060 He says proactively arresting people.

00:36:19.960 The feds are proactively

00:36:21.560 arresting people.

00:36:23.260 Not because they haven't

00:36:24.360 committed crimes yet,

00:36:25.440 but because the local

00:36:26.440 law enforcement

00:36:27.220 will not arrest them.

00:36:28.380 They're not permitted

00:36:28.820 to arrest them.

00:36:30.100 So rather than having

00:36:31.080 local law enforcement

00:36:31.840 arrest these people

00:36:32.580 and then if it's a federal crime,

00:36:34.120 the feds come in,

00:36:35.120 the feds are just going

00:36:36.160 straight in and doing that.

00:36:37.840 It's not preemptively

00:36:39.360 arresting them

00:36:40.000 before they commit a crime.

00:36:40.940 It's proactively arresting them

00:36:42.780 and of course

00:36:43.260 that needs to happen.

00:36:45.380 We do not want

00:36:46.400 our city streets in America

00:36:47.840 to look like

00:36:48.980 some tin pot dictatorship,

00:36:50.780 which is what they do

00:36:52.440 right now.

00:36:55.040 How crazy is that?

00:36:57.220 That the left,

00:36:58.020 which pretends to

00:36:59.060 care about violence,

00:37:00.960 which is trying to

00:37:01.980 suppress conservatives

00:37:03.260 on Twitter,

00:37:04.020 they're using this little excuse

00:37:05.420 of the Q story

00:37:06.960 to go after

00:37:07.940 what I suspect will be

00:37:09.060 many, many more people

00:37:10.460 who are to the right

00:37:11.180 of Hillary Clinton.

00:37:13.820 They're doing all of that

00:37:15.100 in the name of

00:37:15.800 stopping violence

00:37:16.860 and yet the minute

00:37:17.720 that a cop actually goes out

00:37:18.720 and tries to stop

00:37:19.300 the riots that are going on

00:37:20.920 in the street

00:37:21.360 that are killing people,

00:37:23.140 they cry foul.

00:37:24.300 They say,

00:37:24.820 you're absolutely not

00:37:25.800 allowed to do this.

00:37:28.320 Keith Ellison,

00:37:29.320 attorney general

00:37:29.920 in Minnesota,

00:37:32.220 Keith Ellison,

00:37:32.820 former vice chairman

00:37:33.760 of the Democratic

00:37:35.660 National Committee,

00:37:36.700 Keith Ellison,

00:37:37.240 former congressman,

00:37:39.040 just came out

00:37:40.160 while discussing

00:37:40.900 how law enforcement

00:37:41.700 is going to move

00:37:42.280 into the future

00:37:42.840 and said that rapists

00:37:45.160 should not be arrested

00:37:47.380 for their crimes.

00:37:49.380 We should not put resources

00:37:50.900 into getting cops

00:37:52.220 to arrest rapists

00:37:53.340 after they do

00:37:54.900 what they do.

00:37:56.200 If you're a woman

00:37:57.460 who's been a victim

00:37:58.660 of a sexual assault

00:37:59.720 and the assailant

00:38:00.980 has ran away,

00:38:02.460 wouldn't you rather

00:38:03.380 talk to somebody

00:38:04.660 who is trained

00:38:05.900 in helping you

00:38:07.080 deal with

00:38:08.860 what you're dealing with

00:38:10.440 as opposed to

00:38:11.880 somebody whose

00:38:13.260 main training

00:38:15.460 is that they know

00:38:16.480 how to use a firearm.

00:38:18.540 Right?

00:38:19.480 The Ellison defenders,

00:38:21.000 the leftists

00:38:21.520 who are defending this guy,

00:38:22.660 are trying to say now

00:38:23.860 that he's not talking

00:38:25.240 about stopping cops

00:38:26.720 from arresting rapists.

00:38:28.100 He's just saying

00:38:28.800 in addition to

00:38:29.820 all of that,

00:38:30.600 we're going to have

00:38:31.160 some trained therapists

00:38:33.000 or social workers

00:38:33.700 to come and help

00:38:34.680 the victim.

00:38:35.720 That's not what he said.

00:38:37.040 He said,

00:38:37.400 wouldn't you rather

00:38:38.480 a therapist

00:38:40.640 or social worker

00:38:41.300 comes up

00:38:41.840 and treats you

00:38:42.960 as opposed to,

00:38:45.480 not in addition to,

00:38:46.600 as opposed to

00:38:47.320 a cop going out

00:38:48.400 and getting the rapist. 1.00

00:38:50.120 They want 1.00

00:38:50.960 the cities to burn. 1.00

00:38:52.660 They want rapists 0.99

00:38:53.940 to run free.

00:38:55.540 They want

00:38:56.400 any number

00:38:57.200 of dangerous theories

00:38:58.940 to percolate

00:38:59.880 all around the country.

00:39:01.160 They want you

00:39:03.580 to not be civil

00:39:04.440 with people

00:39:06.540 on the other side

00:39:07.140 of the aisle.

00:39:07.480 They want leftists

00:39:08.420 not to be civil

00:39:09.020 with conservatives.

00:39:09.680 That's what Hillary Clinton said. 1.00

00:39:10.780 They want leftists

00:39:11.780 to mob conservatives

00:39:12.880 in public

00:39:13.500 and at their home

00:39:14.060 where their children sleep.

00:39:15.180 That's what Maxine Waters said.

00:39:17.980 They want all that

00:39:19.040 sort of stuff,

00:39:19.860 all in the name of peace

00:39:21.120 and stopping

00:39:22.320 the violence.

00:39:24.120 And what does

00:39:24.580 the right do?

00:39:26.060 We try to play

00:39:27.200 by some neutral standard.

00:39:28.840 We think it's going

00:39:29.440 to be applied fairly.

00:39:31.000 We don't want

00:39:31.920 to play their game

00:39:33.220 or engage

00:39:33.780 in the way

00:39:34.160 that they're doing it.

00:39:35.100 When you are in battle,

00:39:36.920 real battle

00:39:37.480 or political battle,

00:39:39.400 your opponent

00:39:39.900 gets a say.

00:39:42.100 And if you are not

00:39:43.280 fighting

00:39:44.920 the real facts

00:39:46.340 on the ground,

00:39:46.940 if you're not dealing

00:39:47.640 with the realities

00:39:48.680 of that battle,

00:39:49.480 if you're fighting

00:39:50.200 some imaginary battle

00:39:51.120 that you wish

00:39:51.580 you were fighting,

00:39:52.740 you're going to lose.

00:39:55.160 If your opponent

00:39:57.060 is aggressing on you

00:39:58.060 and you're living

00:39:59.160 in a fantasy world

00:39:59.960 where everything

00:40:00.320 is neutral,

00:40:01.180 you are going

00:40:01.880 to lose.

00:40:03.460 We need to engage

00:40:06.280 on the terms

00:40:06.940 that the left

00:40:07.420 is foisting on us.

00:40:08.760 I'll give you

00:40:09.120 a great example

00:40:09.620 of this.

00:40:10.660 Great example

00:40:11.420 of this yesterday.

00:40:13.220 A reporter

00:40:14.140 was said

00:40:14.780 to have possibly

00:40:15.700 referred to

00:40:17.540 our beloved

00:40:18.840 press secretary,

00:40:19.960 Kayleigh McEnany,

00:40:20.840 who makes the

00:40:21.560 national heart

00:40:22.160 go pitter-patter

00:40:22.760 as a lying 0.99

00:40:24.640 B-I-T-C-H. 1.00

00:40:27.400 Now,

00:40:28.080 you could hear it

00:40:28.980 on the audio.

00:40:30.480 We all thought

00:40:31.100 it happened

00:40:31.460 for a moment

00:40:31.940 and this became

00:40:32.440 a big story

00:40:33.100 on Twitter.

00:40:34.580 Take a listen

00:40:35.400 and see what you hear.

00:40:37.720 But I encourage

00:40:38.380 you to read the op-ed.

00:40:39.660 Yes.

00:40:39.720 On the China

00:40:40.220 vaccine research.

00:40:41.160 Yes.

00:40:41.560 You've got two questions

00:40:42.700 which is more

00:40:43.260 than some of your colleagues.

00:40:44.540 Yes.

00:40:44.860 Thank you, Kayleigh.

00:40:45.520 I think you don't mind it.

00:40:47.000 Okay, did you hear that

00:40:47.720 at the end? 1.00

00:40:48.780 Okay, you're a lying 1.00

00:40:49.920 witch. 1.00

00:40:52.060 Something like that.

00:40:53.380 That's what I heard

00:40:54.440 the first time

00:40:54.920 and this kind of

00:40:55.500 went around the internet

00:40:56.160 and some conservative

00:40:57.380 publications were pushing this

00:40:58.460 and conservative blue

00:40:59.380 check marks were pushing this.

00:41:00.460 But then,

00:41:01.020 someone pointed out

00:41:01.960 that it's actually

00:41:04.660 if you slow it down,

00:41:06.400 that's not what she said.

00:41:07.620 She said,

00:41:09.060 okay,

00:41:09.740 you don't want to engage.

00:41:11.180 Now, initially,

00:41:11.780 I thought this was 0.97

00:41:12.560 a ridiculous excuse. 0.93

00:41:14.560 So we slowed it down. 0.96

00:41:16.560 Take a listen.

00:41:18.060 More in some of your colleagues.

00:41:21.060 Yes.

00:41:21.780 Thank you, Kayleigh.

00:41:22.760 As much as it pains me,

00:41:29.080 I tried to listen.

00:41:30.300 I tried to make sure

00:41:31.080 that I was not giving

00:41:32.560 this woman too much credit,

00:41:33.660 Kimberly Halkett

00:41:34.500 at Al Jazeera.

00:41:35.960 I think that's true.

00:41:36.980 I actually think

00:41:37.960 when you slow it down,

00:41:38.880 she did say,

00:41:39.380 okay,

00:41:39.540 you don't want to engage.

00:41:40.700 It sounded like 0.89

00:41:41.600 you're a lying, 0.97

00:41:42.800 you know what, 1.00

00:41:43.520 in person

00:41:44.100 and surely the press

00:41:45.240 thinks that about

00:41:45.920 Kayleigh McEnany.

00:41:46.940 But in all fairness,

00:41:48.340 I don't think

00:41:48.800 that's what she said.

00:41:50.840 Here's the double standard.

00:41:52.600 When it turned out

00:41:53.580 that that's not

00:41:54.000 what she said,

00:41:55.260 then all the people

00:41:55.960 who were spreading this,

00:41:58.200 or at least

00:41:58.800 a great,

00:41:59.220 great number of them,

00:42:00.340 took it down.

00:42:01.900 Conservatives deleted

00:42:02.540 the tweets.

00:42:03.060 Jack Posobiec,

00:42:03.860 Eddie Zipperer,

00:42:04.660 the conservative publications

00:42:05.660 that were pushing this around.

00:42:07.440 They took it down.

00:42:08.180 And frankly,

00:42:08.800 they didn't even assert,

00:42:10.640 many of them at first,

00:42:12.020 that that is what

00:42:12.780 the reporter said.

00:42:13.580 They just raised the question,

00:42:14.500 is this what the reporter said?

00:42:15.700 And still,

00:42:16.100 they took it down.

00:42:17.900 I only noticed this

00:42:18.840 because when I saw it happen,

00:42:19.980 I tweeted out a joke about,

00:42:21.780 I was quoting this old

00:42:22.940 political philosophy book

00:42:24.240 about how no one

00:42:25.540 should ever use a course word

00:42:27.380 at Kayleigh McEnany.

00:42:28.860 And so,

00:42:29.240 but then I saw

00:42:29.620 the tweet was deleted

00:42:30.320 and I said,

00:42:30.700 okay,

00:42:30.920 that's good.

00:42:31.900 Conservatives are

00:42:32.660 being fair about this.

00:42:34.580 The left would never be fair.

00:42:35.740 Would the left

00:42:36.160 ever take down their tweets?

00:42:38.780 Would the left

00:42:39.240 ever back off that lie

00:42:40.740 that they said

00:42:41.360 about a conservative?

00:42:42.000 No, of course not.

00:42:42.840 In fact,

00:42:43.300 we know that they don't.

00:42:44.560 A perfectly exemplary lie.

00:42:47.880 Donald Trump called 0.73

00:42:48.760 white supremacists 0.93

00:42:49.600 and neo-Nazis 0.98

00:42:50.320 very fine people

00:42:51.020 at Charlottesville.

00:42:52.320 That has become

00:42:53.200 part of the leftist gospel.

00:42:56.020 Joe Biden launched

00:42:57.000 his campaign

00:42:57.700 on that lie.

00:42:59.180 That was the first part

00:43:00.140 of the first campaign

00:43:01.220 ad to launch his campaign.

00:43:02.480 And it's not true.

00:43:04.060 You can look

00:43:04.680 one paragraph down.

00:43:06.720 Trump explicitly says

00:43:07.700 in Charlottesville,

00:43:08.180 I'm not talking

00:43:08.800 about neo-Nazis 0.85

00:43:09.480 and white supremacists. 1.00

00:43:10.520 They should be condemned 1.00

00:43:11.180 totally.

00:43:13.000 And yet that lie

00:43:13.820 moves on.

00:43:15.580 Now,

00:43:15.820 I like that conservatives

00:43:17.040 tell the truth.

00:43:18.840 I think we should

00:43:19.360 continue to tell the truth.

00:43:21.800 But we should not

00:43:22.900 accept any

00:43:23.880 leftist premise

00:43:24.960 that there is

00:43:26.780 some sort of

00:43:27.240 moral equivalence here.

00:43:28.260 We should tell the truth.

00:43:29.320 We should

00:43:29.640 not push fake news.

00:43:31.860 We should not push

00:43:32.380 conspiracy theories

00:43:33.680 that are not true.

00:43:35.160 We should tell the truth,

00:43:36.080 but we should stick

00:43:36.900 by our side

00:43:37.620 because these are

00:43:38.500 not fair games.

00:43:39.440 There is no moral

00:43:40.060 equivalence here

00:43:40.680 between Trump and Biden,

00:43:42.400 between right and left,

00:43:43.400 between Republican

00:43:43.980 and Democrat.

00:43:45.900 They are not the same.

00:43:47.080 They are not playing

00:43:47.580 by the same rules.

00:43:48.240 They are not pushing

00:43:48.760 for the same goods.

00:43:50.000 The left wants

00:43:50.760 to destroy this country

00:43:51.780 and they're doing it

00:43:52.600 right now

00:43:53.160 with torches,

00:43:55.040 while pulling down statues,

00:43:56.640 while knocking down buildings.

00:43:58.060 The right is trying

00:43:58.940 to build up

00:43:59.340 that country again.

00:44:01.100 And we should not

00:44:01.700 pretend

00:44:02.100 that the stakes

00:44:03.200 are any lower than that.

00:44:04.140 George Will,

00:44:06.060 considered one of the

00:44:07.420 great conservative columnists.

00:44:08.860 He's been a conservative

00:44:09.540 for a very long time.

00:44:11.520 George Will

00:44:12.120 has come out

00:44:13.000 and endorsed

00:44:15.360 Joe Biden.

00:44:17.880 Who do you plan

00:44:18.800 to vote for in November?

00:44:20.080 Biden.

00:44:21.480 Biden?

00:44:22.380 Oh, yes.

00:44:22.820 Have you voted

00:44:23.300 for a Democrat before?

00:44:25.300 Never.

00:44:26.960 First time you've ever

00:44:27.920 voted for a Democrat

00:44:28.720 for president?

00:44:29.700 That's right.

00:44:30.200 Although,

00:44:30.560 when I first came

00:44:32.880 to Washington in 1970

00:44:34.400 to work

00:44:35.300 on the Senate staff,

00:44:36.960 my first political hero,

00:44:39.880 as it were,

00:44:40.600 was a senator,

00:44:42.380 a Democratic senator,

00:44:43.920 a Scoop Jackson

00:44:44.660 of Washington.

00:44:46.580 I was working

00:44:47.560 on the Senate staff

00:44:48.540 for a Republican,

00:44:50.140 Gordon Elliott

00:44:50.940 of Colorado.

00:44:52.460 As I said earlier,

00:44:53.680 my best friend

00:44:54.780 was a senator

00:44:55.740 from New York,

00:44:56.520 Pat Moynihan.

00:44:57.820 So I have nothing

00:44:58.800 against Democrats,

00:44:59.660 but I've never

00:45:01.600 had the occasion

00:45:02.240 to vote for one.

00:45:03.180 This year I will.

00:45:05.240 This year he will.

00:45:06.280 How will this

00:45:06.980 conservative columnist,

00:45:08.180 when the stakes

00:45:08.860 are so high,

00:45:11.020 choose this to be

00:45:11.880 the year that he votes

00:45:12.640 for the Democrat

00:45:13.320 who will empower

00:45:14.680 all the people

00:45:15.180 destroying the country?

00:45:16.940 A few reasons.

00:45:17.800 One,

00:45:18.220 Will in recent years

00:45:19.200 has become much more

00:45:20.340 libertarian,

00:45:21.480 not conservative.

00:45:22.760 He's moved away

00:45:23.360 from conservatism

00:45:24.040 toward libertarianism,

00:45:25.160 which brings you

00:45:27.960 much closer over

00:45:28.640 to liberalism

00:45:29.200 or much more likely

00:45:30.200 to side with liberals.

00:45:31.980 Will has always

00:45:32.500 been a little

00:45:32.940 out of step

00:45:33.520 with conservatism.

00:45:34.560 He's rejected

00:45:35.080 key conservative

00:45:35.920 thinkers and figures.

00:45:37.400 Will is an atheist.

00:45:38.780 Will has been

00:45:39.240 in Washington,

00:45:39.960 as he notes,

00:45:40.300 for a very long time,

00:45:41.240 which has this habit

00:45:42.220 of making people

00:45:43.580 a little bit more liberal.

00:45:46.160 Will doesn't see

00:45:47.000 the stakes here.

00:45:49.080 Even if he sees

00:45:49.980 the stakes,

00:45:50.460 he doesn't see

00:45:51.140 the double standard.

00:45:53.580 Because what he sees

00:45:54.480 in Trump

00:45:54.840 is this crass, 0.99

00:45:56.520 vulgar person, 0.92

00:45:57.940 who tells

00:46:00.460 the occasional

00:46:01.160 exaggeration,

00:46:02.180 he'd probably

00:46:02.520 call it a lie,

00:46:04.280 who doesn't have

00:46:06.120 respect for our

00:46:06.880 norms and traditions.

00:46:09.460 Let's say that

00:46:10.180 all of that is true.

00:46:12.200 Let's say all

00:46:12.820 of that is true.

00:46:14.380 Will might be

00:46:14.860 right about that.

00:46:16.480 What he's wrong about

00:46:17.620 is that the Democrats

00:46:19.200 are doing all

00:46:20.040 of those things

00:46:20.560 so much more so.

00:46:21.680 The Democrats,

00:46:22.400 much, much, 0.96

00:46:23.340 much more vulgar

00:46:24.120 and crass.

00:46:25.180 Even Joe Biden

00:46:25.800 himself has been

00:46:26.400 vulgar and crass

00:46:27.100 at many times.

00:46:29.580 Joe Biden has told

00:46:30.560 many more lies

00:46:31.280 than Donald Trump.

00:46:32.080 Deeper lies.

00:46:32.660 And the left

00:46:33.060 right now,

00:46:33.660 broadly,

00:46:34.080 which Biden

00:46:34.840 would be empowering,

00:46:35.940 is telling

00:46:36.440 extraordinarily deep lies.

00:46:37.660 Like America was 0.99

00:46:38.220 rotten and evil 0.99

00:46:38.740 from the beginning. 0.99

00:46:39.660 That cops are

00:46:40.180 slaughtering innocent 1.00

00:46:40.900 black men. 1.00

00:46:41.500 The list goes on and on. 0.90

00:46:42.700 That the 2016 election

00:46:43.720 was illegitimate, right?

00:46:46.520 The crazy conspiracies

00:46:47.940 on the right.

00:46:48.440 There are many more

00:46:48.980 crazy conspiracies

00:46:49.880 on the left.

00:46:52.300 It's not that the critics

00:46:53.340 of the right are wrong.

00:46:55.080 They're just not seeing

00:46:56.240 how much more egregious

00:46:57.400 every terrible thing

00:46:58.360 that you could say

00:46:58.800 about Trump

00:46:59.360 or about the right

00:47:00.440 is on the left

00:47:01.980 and applies

00:47:03.380 to Joe Biden.

00:47:06.480 Especially this issue

00:47:07.320 of the conspiracy theories

00:47:08.420 is really,

00:47:09.300 really bugging me

00:47:10.700 because they,

00:47:11.660 increasingly,

00:47:12.520 you'll notice

00:47:12.800 they hurl this

00:47:13.400 on the right.

00:47:14.080 If you look at

00:47:14.580 right-wing figures

00:47:15.420 and conservatives

00:47:16.340 and thinkers

00:47:16.860 and things like that,

00:47:18.160 increasingly,

00:47:18.940 they're adding

00:47:19.320 the phrase conspiracy theorists

00:47:20.700 to their bios,

00:47:21.420 to their Wikipedia pages,

00:47:22.260 even people who are

00:47:22.980 as mainstream

00:47:23.620 as they come.

00:47:25.980 Why are they doing this?

00:47:28.040 To distract from the fact

00:47:29.420 that the left

00:47:30.000 is foisting

00:47:30.720 some serious

00:47:31.960 conspiracy theories

00:47:33.160 on the country

00:47:34.780 themselves.

00:47:36.280 I think of this

00:47:37.240 as the tinfoil hat trick.

00:47:39.620 Three in a row.

00:47:40.540 They convinced

00:47:41.340 the country

00:47:42.260 that Trump

00:47:43.020 was a Manchurian candidate,

00:47:44.480 a spy for Russia,

00:47:46.240 for goodness sakes.

00:47:47.880 Then they convinced us

00:47:48.940 that we had to shut down

00:47:49.720 the economy indefinitely

00:47:50.940 for this Chinese virus

00:47:53.740 where other countries

00:47:54.560 around the world

00:47:54.920 are not shutting down

00:47:55.640 indefinitely.

00:47:57.180 And I think

00:47:57.860 indefinite means

00:47:58.500 until the November election.

00:48:00.120 Now they're trying

00:48:00.800 to convince us

00:48:01.500 that we don't need

00:48:02.220 any kind of presidential

00:48:03.080 campaign at all.

00:48:04.240 There can be no debates

00:48:05.240 had,

00:48:05.580 whether literal

00:48:06.320 presidential debates

00:48:07.200 or broader debates

00:48:08.960 about who should win.

00:48:10.500 No campaign rallies,

00:48:11.940 no nothing,

00:48:13.200 so that Biden

00:48:14.120 has a better chance

00:48:14.880 of getting elected

00:48:15.480 because the guy

00:48:15.900 can't form

00:48:16.440 a coherent English sentence,

00:48:18.260 so they're locking him

00:48:18.880 in his basement.

00:48:20.340 And convincing us

00:48:21.260 we can't have a campaign.

00:48:22.260 That's what the doctor ordered

00:48:23.260 so that they can get him

00:48:24.720 into the White House

00:48:25.360 in 2020.

00:48:27.900 Those conspiracy theories,

00:48:29.640 much more egregious,

00:48:31.280 much more dangerous,

00:48:32.900 have a far greater

00:48:34.020 public impact

00:48:34.900 than any

00:48:36.980 that you see crop up

00:48:38.060 on the right.

00:48:39.580 Those are the ones

00:48:40.940 that we should push down.

00:48:42.140 Those are the ones

00:48:42.500 we have to fight back against.

00:48:43.720 And they're going to call us

00:48:44.380 all sorts of names

00:48:45.160 when we fight back against them.

00:48:46.560 Doesn't matter.

00:48:47.640 Those are the stakes.

00:48:49.220 Don't worry as much

00:48:50.700 about the criticisms

00:48:51.480 that they're leveling

00:48:52.120 at your side

00:48:53.320 when all of those criticisms

00:48:54.900 apply so much more

00:48:56.540 to their own.

00:48:58.320 The stakes are very,

00:48:59.980 very high.

00:49:01.140 Now is not the time

00:49:02.360 to let them delude you.

00:49:04.140 That's our show.

00:50:16.200 Then comes Trump.
