00:00:37.840 Eric Swalwell characteristically blew a lot of hot air on Capitol Hill yesterday.

00:00:43.920 And that's all well and good.

00:00:45.300 That's just sort of what he does every day.

00:00:47.740 Unfortunately, though, for Mr. Swalwell and all of his Democrat colleagues,

00:00:52.180 he was doing this in the face of Bill Barr, and it didn't go very well for him.

00:00:58.240 Now, Mr. Barr, are you investigating Donald Trump for commuting the prison sentence of his longtime friend and political advisor, Roger Stone?

00:01:05.460 No.

00:01:07.320 Why not?

00:01:09.080 Why should I?

00:01:10.660 Well, let's talk about that.

00:01:12.420 He wasn't ready for a simple question.

00:01:15.160 Why should I do the thing you're asking me to do?

00:01:18.080 Okay, well, yeah, okay, yeah, let's, okay, we can talk about that.

00:01:21.160 We can talk, we will talk about that, because Bill Barr, the honey badger,

00:01:25.800 just absolutely knocked down every Democrat on Capitol Hill yesterday,

00:01:29.880 like he's just a human bowling ball going down the lane.

00:01:33.680 We will, we will get into all of it.

00:01:35.200 I'm Michael Knowles, this is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:01:39.960 Welcome back to the show.

00:01:47.640 Bill Barr went to Capitol Hill.

00:01:50.040 Coincidentally, I actually was with the Attorney General Barr when he accepted this invitation.

00:01:56.440 So you remember I went to D.C. with Senator Cruz,

00:01:58.820 and we did this episode of the Verdict podcast there at the DOJ with Attorney General Barr.

00:02:03.720 And that, like, as I get to the room, as Bill Barr gets to the room,

00:02:07.700 the news breaks that he's going to accept the Democrats' invitation to testify on Capitol Hill.

00:02:12.060 I have been waiting for many weeks for this to happen,

00:02:15.500 because I knew it was going to be absolutely hilarious, and it did not disappoint.

00:02:19.440 So my favorite of the interrogators was Eric Swalwell, because you're Eric Swalwell, I'm Eric.

00:02:25.700 Well, we're all Eric Swalwell, as you remember from his presidential campaign.

00:02:29.020 It went from bad to worse for Mr. Swalwell.

00:02:33.580 Here's just a little snippet of the interactions between Congressman Swalwell and the Attorney General.

00:02:41.560 I know a lot about the law and various other lawyerings.

00:02:45.980 I'm well-educated, well-versed.

00:02:48.020 I know that situations like this, real estate-wise, they're very complex.

00:02:51.960 Actually, they're pretty simple.

00:02:54.320 The forms are all standard, boilerplate.

00:02:56.940 Okay, well, we're all hungry.

00:02:58.300 We're going to get to our hot plate soon enough, all right?

00:03:00.280 But let's talk about the contract here.

00:03:01.980 Sorry, I forgot.

00:03:03.180 Where did you go to law school again?

00:03:04.920 Uh, well, I could ask you that very same question.

00:03:06.460 I went to Harvard.

00:03:07.560 Uh-huh.

00:03:07.880 Mm-hmm.

00:03:08.220 How about you?

00:03:09.340 Where?

00:03:10.300 Yeah.

00:03:10.720 I'm pleading the fifth, sir.

00:03:12.020 I'd advise that you do that.

00:03:13.280 And I'll take that advice into cooperation, all right?

00:03:16.140 Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor.

00:03:19.560 You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that.

00:03:22.640 And I can see clearly you know nothing about the law.

00:03:25.340 It seems like you have a tenuous grasp on the English language in general.

00:03:29.640 Okay, well, filibuster.

00:03:32.360 I'm sorry.

00:03:33.140 That was not the clip of Eric Swalwell and Bill Barr.

00:03:35.700 That was from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

00:03:37.880 It couldn't have been the clip between Swalwell and Barr because Charlie Day was much, much

00:03:42.500 more articulate and was making much, much more sense than Eric Swalwell was yesterday.

00:03:47.540 I, frankly, I wish we could just play the entire interaction.

00:03:51.220 There, unfortunately, is not enough time.

00:03:53.180 Just a little snippet to give you the idea of the difference here, not just in IQ, but

00:03:59.400 difference in seriousness of purpose.

00:04:02.040 You don't read the president's tweets?

00:04:03.720 No.

00:04:04.860 Well, there's a lot of evidence in the president's tweets, Mr. Attorney General.

00:04:07.520 I think you should start reading them because he said Mr. Stone showed guts.

00:04:10.860 But on July 10 of this year, Roger Stone declared to a reporter, I had 29 or 30 conversations

00:04:18.000 with Trump during the campaign period.

00:04:20.160 Trump knows I was under enormous pressure to turn on him.

00:04:23.180 It would have eased my situation considerably, but I didn't.

00:04:27.180 The prosecutors wanted me to play Judas.

00:04:29.460 I refused.

00:04:30.040 Are you familiar with that Stone statement?

00:04:32.640 Actually, I'm not.

00:04:33.540 So how can you sit here and tell us, why should I investigate the president of the United States

00:04:38.480 if you're not even aware of the facts concerning the president using the pardon or commutation

00:04:43.200 power to swap the silence of a witness?

00:04:47.940 Because we require a reliable predicate before we open a criminal investigation.

00:04:54.100 And I just gave to you, sir.

00:04:55.240 I don't consider it.

00:04:56.320 I consider it a very Rube Goldberg theory that you had.

00:05:00.480 Well, it sounds like you're hearing this and by the way, if I applied, if I applied

00:05:04.220 this standard, there'd be a lot, there'd be a lot more people under investigation.

00:05:09.440 Just absolutely devastating because it's all it gives us whole great oration and bars

00:05:15.880 looking at him like why, what mistakes have I made in life that have led me to have to 1.00

00:05:23.140 sit in this chair and listen to all of you people, you vacuous imbeciles, you Democrats 1.00

00:05:29.840 of Capitol Hill. 1.00

00:05:31.480 And he's sitting there and he lets Eric Swalwell finish.

00:05:34.580 And Swalwell says, so why haven't you investigated the president?

00:05:38.280 He goes, um, because we need a reliable predicate to investigate.

00:05:43.560 Congressman Swalwell, do you know what an investigation is?

00:05:45.900 A filibuster, filibuster. 0.62

00:05:47.580 I don't, I don't think that Eric Swalwell knows very much of what he's talking about.

00:05:51.500 And then there's a zinger at the end.

00:05:52.660 And, and if you watch the clip, you can see the attorney general's eyes dart to the other

00:05:58.180 members of the panel.

00:05:59.220 He said, if we were going to take that flimsy standard as the basis for investigations,

00:06:04.880 then a lot more of you people would be under investigation.

00:06:10.720 And that more or less ends anything even resembling substance in the exchange.

00:06:16.620 And frankly, I've got to give Eric Swalwell credit because at least Eric Swalwell let the attorney

00:06:20.860 general speak at the hearing that he was called to so that the Democrats could hear him that

00:06:27.860 unfortunately the other members of Congress did not seem to understand that, which we will get to

00:06:33.140 in just one moment.

00:06:34.260 But first I got to thank our friends over at ring.

00:06:36.940 You know, it's very important to know who is at your door, whether you are home or whether you

00:06:42.460 are at the office or whether on your vacation somewhere.

00:06:45.460 I think these days, a lot of us are home more than usual.

00:06:48.600 And it's still hard to keep a close eye on things.

00:06:51.400 More deliveries mean more boxes left unattended and more opportunities for packages to go

00:06:55.940 missing.

00:06:56.980 A lot can happen outside your front doors.

00:06:58.960 We're not always free to check on things in person with ring.

00:07:02.600 You can keep your home safe no matter where you are, especially, you know, things are just

00:07:05.840 a little weird these days.

00:07:06.700 Okay.

00:07:07.340 It's very good to be able to check in on that sweet little Lisa is a great shot, but I just,

00:07:11.500 I want to be able to check in from my phone anywhere.

00:07:14.780 This is something that I give to my friends as a housewarming gift.

00:07:18.580 The reason I do that is one, because it makes you feel like you're in the future and, you

00:07:23.420 know, it keeps you very safe, but two, it's inexpensive.

00:07:26.780 And so you feel like a really cool guy and you look like a great friend when you give this

00:07:30.300 to people for their housewarming.

00:07:32.700 You can get a special offer right now on the ring welcome kit.

00:07:34.720 When you go to ring.com slash Knowles, the welcome kit includes the ring video doorbell

00:07:38.300 three and chime pro.

00:07:39.820 It's all you need to start building custom security for your home today.

00:07:42.820 A lot of people are not feeling safe these days.

00:07:44.940 Make sure you feel safe with everything that's going on.

00:07:47.460 Go to ring.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S. 0.99

00:07:49.780 That is ring.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S. 0.93

00:07:55.840 Swalwell, at least let the attorney general speak.

00:07:58.400 His colleagues, not so much.

00:07:59.960 Greg Price over at the Daily Caller put together just a very brief clip of some of the Democrats

00:08:07.300 cutting off Bill Barber.

00:08:09.680 He's what they would do.

00:08:10.240 They'd give their orations that were supposed to be questions for the attorney general.

00:08:14.520 And then at the end, they wouldn't even let the guy answer.

00:08:17.620 They would just say, OK, you know, don't say that.

00:08:20.260 I don't like what you're starting to say.

00:08:21.860 I'm reclaiming my time.

00:08:24.700 I wasn't claiming my time in April.

00:08:27.420 Times is when does something actually become reclaiming my time.

00:08:30.420 I'm site.

00:08:31.220 This is not a trick question in this country.

00:08:33.940 And I'm reclaiming my time, Mr. General.

00:08:36.320 Without any remedy at all.

00:08:38.000 I'm reclaiming my time.

00:08:39.080 Let me share with you.

00:08:39.820 You gotta let him answer.

00:08:40.800 Reclaiming my time.

00:08:42.440 You're reclaiming my time, sir.

00:08:45.060 Reclaiming my time.

00:08:46.680 Reclaiming my time without political bias.

00:08:49.780 He said he's enough evidence.

00:08:51.180 Reclaiming my time, Mr. General.

00:08:53.340 Reclaiming my time.

00:08:54.900 Reclaiming my time, Mr. Barr.

00:08:56.440 I'm pleased to know that the Democrats of Capitol Hill at least know and can pronounce three words.

00:09:03.480 I don't know that their vocabulary and their intellect goes much further than that.

00:09:07.600 But they at least can say reclaiming my time.

00:09:10.920 Those are the three words that they can say.

00:09:13.160 And they can't hear very much either.

00:09:14.620 The reason they can't hear very much is an issue that plays in not just to these Democrats on Capitol Hill,

00:09:20.080 but into a broader culture, which is that we are living in echo chambers.

00:09:24.680 And if you're on the left, you never even hear the arguments that the right is making.

00:09:28.840 So it's no surprise that these Democrat congressmen don't want to let the attorney general speak.

00:09:33.460 They won't let him speak because they are utterly unprepared for what he has to say.

00:09:38.700 They are utterly unprepared to answer what he has to say.

00:09:41.460 And they don't care what he has to say.

00:09:44.260 It doesn't matter.

00:09:44.940 It's not going to affect the way that the left, which controls every major institution of power,

00:09:49.600 is going to march on and on and on.

00:09:53.160 At a certain point, Bill Barr joked about this to the members there.

00:09:57.580 He said, hold on a second.

00:09:58.300 Who's doing the hearing here?

00:09:59.820 Who's doing the talking?

00:10:00.500 Who's doing the hearing?

00:10:02.040 It is not a self-defining term.

00:10:04.220 They've only got two minutes, sir.

00:10:05.520 That they recognized.

00:10:07.080 Mr. Barr, if I am.

00:10:07.820 Yeah, but this is a hearing.

00:10:08.940 I thought I was the one that was supposed to be heard.

00:10:11.100 Well, let me, and I'm going to get there.

00:10:12.940 Well, you thought wrong, Mr. Attorney General.

00:10:14.760 Well, this purpose of this entire hearing is so that Democrats can get little clips for

00:10:21.940 their reelection campaigns where they're scolding the attorney general and they're going to cut

00:10:25.660 that up and take that back home and put it on television or put it on the internet.

00:10:29.640 And it is, as always the left does, you know, the left always projects.

00:10:34.880 So whatever they're doing, they're going to accuse their opponents of doing.

00:10:37.340 Jerry Nadler, who's chairing this whole circus, comes out and he accuses Bill Barr of participating

00:10:45.840 in campaigning here by trying to get little video clips for the president's reelection.

00:10:52.580 The president wants footage for his campaign ads and you appear to be serving it up to him

00:10:57.920 as ordered.

00:10:59.520 What are you talking about?

00:11:02.460 Jerry, you're the one doing the whole purpose of this hearing that you invited Bill

00:11:07.260 Barr to is so that you all can get footage for your reelection campaigns.

00:11:12.700 And yet he's accusing the president of doing the opposite thing.

00:11:15.260 The only thing we learned yesterday, and it wasn't something new, I guess we were just

00:11:18.940 reminded of it, is that congressmen, and I should limit this to the Democrats because

00:11:23.640 the Republicans actually performed very well yesterday. 1.00

00:11:25.880 But these Democrat congressmen who wouldn't even let their guests speak are vacuous imbeciles. 1.00

00:11:32.100 But it's not just their fault. 1.00

00:11:34.720 We live in a sort of vacuous culture.

00:11:37.260 A vapid culture.

00:11:38.880 We all participate in it.

00:11:40.940 Every last one of us.

00:11:42.780 I saw this yesterday.

00:11:44.000 I don't know if you've been following on Instagram.

00:11:46.500 There's this trend that has taken over Instagram.

00:11:49.380 Many of my dearest friends are doing it, so I don't want to poke too sharp fun here.

00:11:53.300 Women are taking hot black and white selfies of themselves. 0.62

00:12:01.580 I guess most selfies are of yourself.

00:12:03.320 They're taking these selfie photos, and then they're uploading it to Instagram, and they're

00:12:08.600 saying, challenge accepted.

00:12:10.740 And so all the women on Instagram were doing this. 1.00

00:12:14.560 And I thought, oh, it's another one of these social media challenge things.

00:12:17.780 Okay, what's the challenge?

00:12:19.860 And so I'm looking, and I found out the challenge is to upload a hot selfie.

00:12:26.280 That is, that's not, that's not part of the challenge or the medium of the challenge.

00:12:33.000 That's the whole challenge, is to get women on an app that exists solely for women to put 1.00

00:12:40.340 up hot pictures of themselves.

00:12:41.780 The challenge is for women to put up hot pictures of themselves. 1.00

00:12:46.620 There's not even a nominal social justice tie-in.

00:12:50.840 You know, most of these challenges, there's like at least a little hook.

00:12:54.440 It's like, yeah, upload a hot selfie, and then you'll cure a disease.

00:13:00.800 You know, upload a hot selfie to stop polio.

00:13:03.580 And you're like, well, okay, I don't really see the connection between those two things,

00:13:06.160 but at least, but this one, it's not even that.

00:13:08.240 It's just vanity.

00:13:09.520 That's all it is.

00:13:10.260 It's just women uploading photos of themselves and saying, I'm beautiful, I'm strong, and

00:13:15.280 I nominate.

00:13:16.240 And then you name all these other women that you, you also suggest should upload hot photos

00:13:21.620 of themselves.

00:13:22.560 And then the other women, they post the photos and they say, thank you for nominating me.

00:13:28.100 Thank you for challenging.

00:13:29.520 I'm, I feel so challenged.

00:13:32.560 So anyway, the other night I put up one of myself and I don't know, frankly, I thought

00:13:36.300 it was, it was one of the more scintillating, challenging things I've ever done.

00:13:41.040 I feel really lifted up and empowered.

00:13:43.020 Also, is it, is it empowering to upload a hot selfie for other people to gawk over?

00:13:51.280 Is that, that, that is many things, but I'm not convinced that that is empowering.

00:13:57.580 What's funny now, they're trying to add a kind of social justice element to it.

00:14:03.300 So it's, so all these women are uploading the photos just for themselves, just to say 0.97

00:14:07.200 like, I'm beautiful, you're strong, you go girl.

00:14:09.500 We don't, we don't need anybody's attention.

00:14:11.560 Also look at my hot pictures.

00:14:12.800 So that's the, the thing that everyone's doing now.

00:14:15.220 Now, then some women in Turkey got upset because apparently a few weeks ago, there was a campaign 1.00

00:14:22.780 in Turkey to upload black and white photos to stop women from being killed or something

00:14:28.300 to that effect has nothing to do with what the women in America are doing. 1.00

00:14:31.680 And they're getting angry because they feel like it's being taken over.

00:14:34.100 And this reminds me of the black square.

00:14:35.620 You remember all these mostly white liberals were uploading the black squares during black

00:14:39.320 lives matter, and they were doing it to stand in solidarity with BLM.

00:14:42.560 And then the BLM people got angry because it was messing up their hashtag or something,

00:14:46.240 right?

00:14:46.380 It's just, you can't, you can't win for losing first of all.

00:14:50.500 And especially in the case of the black and white photo, what are we, what's the point?

00:14:54.740 The point is, is vanity and, and we all do it.

00:14:58.800 I'm not even exempting myself.

00:15:00.160 I mean, I don't, I don't do it when it comes to posting hot selfies, but we all do it in some

00:15:04.360 ways.

00:15:04.540 We all indulge this vanity in this culture.

00:15:07.500 That's what that whole hearing was yesterday.

00:15:10.320 That's what much of our public policy is right now is the indulgence of vanity.

00:15:15.920 And you have a guy like Bill Barr, getting back to Bill Barr.

00:15:19.580 You have a guy like Bill Barr who is the voice of one in the wilderness, crying out with any

00:15:24.440 sort of common sense. 0.97

00:15:26.300 And that man in this crazy culture, that man seems like a lunatic because he's speaking 1.00

00:15:33.700 common sense to a culture that's lost its mind. 0.99

00:15:36.140 We'll get to that in one second.

00:15:36.920 First, I got to thank our friends over at Pure Talk.

00:15:40.140 You know, you should not assume that your monthly cell phone bill is like a necessary

00:15:46.720 forever.

00:15:48.360 There's no way to fight it sort of thing.

00:15:50.800 Your monthly cell phone bill should be less than it is now.

00:15:53.780 Who is your wireless provider?

00:15:55.660 AT&T, Verizon, maybe T-Mobile.

00:15:58.620 What if I told you that Pure Talk USA uses the exact same network as one of those carriers?

00:16:05.460 I'm not saying it's a similar or a comparison.

00:16:07.760 I'm saying it's the exact same one.

00:16:10.000 Same towers, same exact coverage, but it costs you half the price.

00:16:15.620 People love Pure Talk USA.

00:16:17.380 Sarah from Ebeline, Texas says, the service is amazing.

00:16:19.960 Love the price.

00:16:20.500 The speed is quick.

00:16:21.320 The reception is so perfect.

00:16:22.700 Switching is so easy.

00:16:23.660 You can keep your phone.

00:16:24.960 They'll just send you a SIM card so you can get the same great service you currently have,

00:16:29.000 but at half the price.

00:16:31.100 Unlimited talk, text, and two gigs of data, 20 bucks a month, 20 bucks a month.

00:16:35.780 The average person is paying $400 a year for that.

00:16:38.340 You could be paying 20 bucks a month.

00:16:40.580 It's unbelievable.

00:16:41.520 I know it sounds too good to be true, but I know these guys, it's the same exact coverage.

00:16:47.360 You can get unlimited talk, unlimited text, two gigs of data for just 20 bucks a month.

00:16:51.100 All you need to do is grab your mobile phone, dial pound 250, and say keyword Michael Knowles.

00:16:57.560 That's pound 250, say keyword Michael Knowles.

00:17:00.340 When you do, you will save 50% off your first month.

00:17:05.120 In this crazy culture with all these vacuous congressmen, Bill Barr comes.

00:17:08.720 He tries to speak a little common sense, and it's some common sense that we've been trying

00:17:12.720 to say on this show, and I know conservatives have been saying to the left now for weeks.

00:17:16.220 It is not acceptable to burn down the country.

00:17:22.220 I can't believe that needs to be said.

00:17:25.180 It is not acceptable to burn the country down.

00:17:29.360 To use a specific example, it's not acceptable to burn down a federal courthouse.

00:17:34.520 The Democrats are shocked to hear it.

00:17:37.380 That's right, Congressman.

00:17:38.880 There's sort of distinct missions.

00:17:40.760 One mission is to enforce federal law.

00:17:43.420 And by the way, the federal government is the sovereign of the United States.

00:17:47.840 We have two sovereigns here in the United States, and we enforce the federal law all

00:17:52.740 over the country.

00:17:53.520 Every square foot of the country, we enforce federal law.

00:17:56.660 The other is protecting federal property, and specifically U.S. courthouses, which are

00:18:01.840 the heart of federal property in all 93 jurisdictions in the United States.

00:18:06.380 And we have the obligation to protect federal courts, and the U.S. marshals specifically

00:18:12.620 have been given that obligation.

00:18:14.820 Federal courts are under attack.

00:18:16.560 Since when is it okay to try to burn down a federal court?

00:18:22.060 If someone went down the street to the Prettyman Court here, that beautiful courthouse we have

00:18:26.120 right at the bottom of the hill, and started breaking windows and firing industrial-grade fireworks

00:18:30.980 in to start a fire, throw kerosene balloons in, and start fires in the court, is that okay?

00:18:37.720 Is that okay now?

00:18:39.520 No, the U.S. marshals have a duty to stop that and defend the courthouse, and that's what

00:18:44.240 we are doing in Portland.

00:18:46.080 This was the moment, probably more than any other in the hearing, where Barr becomes visibly

00:18:50.940 and audibly exasperated.

00:18:52.460 Who are you people?

00:18:55.820 You're defending burning down federal courthouses.

00:18:58.680 What is wrong with you people?

00:19:01.980 And do you think it made an impact?

00:19:03.540 Do you think what he said persuaded them, even penetrated those very, very thick skulls

00:19:08.740 that they have?

00:19:10.100 No, not at all.

00:19:11.680 Not at all.

00:19:12.500 They are still calling to defund the police.

00:19:14.440 They're still calling to defund military recruitment.

00:19:16.640 We talked about that yesterday.

00:19:17.940 They want to defund the apparatus of law enforcement.

00:19:21.320 Why?

00:19:22.020 Because they want to defund our law.

00:19:24.080 They don't want us to have a country of laws.

00:19:26.660 They want us to have a country run by the ever-changing whims of the left.

00:19:32.240 Now, in this climate, is it any surprise that 100 police agencies have just pulled out of

00:19:38.660 the DNC?

00:19:40.540 The Democratic National Convention, such as it is, it's going to be a pared down one, they

00:19:45.940 don't have any protection.

00:19:47.420 They don't have any protection now because the cops don't want to protect them.

00:19:50.200 And I got to tell you, I'm with the cops.

00:19:53.240 I'm with the cops here.

00:19:55.680 You know, I think one reaction to this, to finding out that none of these police agencies

00:20:00.200 want to protect the DNC.

00:20:01.900 One reaction is, well, they signed up.

00:20:03.460 They got to do their job.

00:20:04.340 They got to protect people, even if they don't like those people.

00:20:07.060 That's not the point.

00:20:09.580 It's not just we have a disagreement on this policy or that policy.

00:20:12.460 It's that the DNC is actively trying to dismantle the police.

00:20:18.580 They are openly saying this at the most mainstream high level.

00:20:23.180 They want to dismantle the law enforcement apparatus of this country.

00:20:27.900 You cannot ask law enforcement to participate in its own destruction, not even just because

00:20:37.200 it will be detrimental to them, but because that would be detrimental to the entire country,

00:20:42.160 to our entire system of government, and to our entire system of law and order.

00:20:47.320 You would never ask someone to participate in their own destruction, but that's what would

00:20:54.780 happen if these police agencies were to protect the DNC.

00:20:59.640 And on a very tangible level, the Democrats have basically said if cops ever use force,

00:21:07.580 we're going to arrest them and ruin their lives.

00:21:09.860 You can't ask a guy to go into that position.

00:21:12.340 It's not like cops get paid a ton of money, right?

00:21:14.900 It's not as though you say, well, look, it's a tough job, but at least they make a ton of

00:21:19.260 money.

00:21:20.120 And so therefore we ask a lot of them.

00:21:22.160 They don't.

00:21:22.900 It's service.

00:21:25.200 You, you, they make a relatively modest salary and they take a, on a dangerous job and they

00:21:32.020 do it because it is a noble calling to protect people and to enforce the law.

00:21:37.640 Well, if you're going to, if you're going to punish them in some cases, you know, you charge

00:21:42.400 them with murder just for doing their job.

00:21:47.100 Why would they do it?

00:21:48.820 You can only push a man so far.

00:21:51.240 You know, the, the line between courage and recklessness is a little bit blurry sometimes,

00:21:55.180 but for a cop to go out there when he knows that the people that he's going out to protect

00:22:00.700 are actively trying to ruin his life and maybe throw him in jail or worse or worse.

00:22:06.580 That, that's pure recklessness.

00:22:10.260 You can't, you can't ask a guy to do that.

00:22:12.420 And so they're pulling out of the DNC.

00:22:14.060 I think it makes total sense that they are.

00:22:16.440 This, uh, this was announced first by Milwaukee police chief Alfonso Morales, uh, or rather

00:22:23.340 Alfonso Morales was the one who was ordered last month to change the department's policies

00:22:27.800 to basically not let them do their jobs.

00:22:30.080 And so then all in conjunction, it's been announced by these 100 law enforcement agencies.

00:22:35.700 Absolutely makes sense.

00:22:37.780 And lest you think, lest you think that, you know, Republicans are trying to undermine the

00:22:44.720 rule of law here.

00:22:45.600 I don't think you would ever fall into that trap, but the mainstream media are trying to

00:22:49.260 push that idea on you.

00:22:51.080 We've got a story that I think the mainstream media are not reporting on every time a right

00:22:56.560 winger so much as flicks the shoulder of a left winger.

00:23:02.040 So every time a right winger, you know, walks up and kind of smacks a guy in the face or

00:23:06.340 something, that's a national news story.

00:23:09.420 How about when left wingers drive their automobiles through a crowd of conservatives?

00:23:15.340 Does that make the news?

00:23:16.820 Hear about that story?

00:23:17.900 Probably you didn't.

00:23:18.660 We'll get to that in one second.

00:23:19.520 Then we will get to the broader issue here of not, not just silencing the attorney general

00:23:26.380 at a hearing, but silencing very important, relevant information during a pandemic to serve

00:23:31.960 political purposes.

00:23:32.960 That's not even being carried out by the politicians.

00:23:34.960 That's being carried out by our true overlords over in big tech.

00:23:38.980 We'll get to all of that.

00:23:39.720 First though, got to thank our friends over at Rad Power Bikes.

00:23:43.600 Rad Power Bikes are absolutely fabulous for getting out of the house.

00:23:48.660 They're cool just in general.

00:23:50.200 They're cool just, but especially these days, they're really cool to get around, to commute,

00:23:54.020 to maybe get out in nature, even with the kids in tow.

00:23:57.280 You've got to try Rad Power Bikes.

00:23:59.640 It's a cross between a traditional bike and a moped, but it doesn't require a special driver's

00:24:03.860 license like a moped would.

00:24:05.240 You can go up to 20 miles per hour without pedaling, so you can get out and about without

00:24:09.860 getting sweaty.

00:24:10.900 They're great for commuting.

00:24:11.920 They're great for getting out on the trail.

00:24:12.860 They're great for hauling groceries or even transporting your kids on your back, on the back

00:24:18.520 of the bike.

00:24:19.480 Unlike other e-bikes, they're usually, they're actually rather affordable and to show appreciation

00:24:25.900 for those that serve us, Rad Power Bikes is offering a hundred bucks off all e-bike purchases

00:24:30.240 for active and ex-military first responders, teachers, and students.

00:24:35.460 Really terrific company and especially now, what a great product.

00:24:39.260 Rad Power Bikes offer flexible financing for as low as 0% APR.

00:24:44.180 Right now is a limited time offer.

00:24:45.720 You can get a free accessory with the purchase of a bike and you can get a free gift of up

00:24:50.180 to $100 in value.

00:24:52.100 Free shipping to the lower 48 states to get the special offer.

00:24:55.500 Text the word Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S, to 64,000.

00:24:58.080 That is Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S, to 64,000.

00:25:01.780 Text it out right now.

00:25:03.920 On July 25th, not that long ago, at approximately 3.38 PM in Eaton, Colorado, the Eaton PD responded

00:25:14.480 to a report of a man traveling in a maroon SUV trying to drive through and over a crowd

00:25:22.080 of pedestrians.

00:25:23.760 Those pedestrians, so usually when you hear that headline, you find, oh, it's going to be

00:25:27.400 a right winger, probably a white supremacist driving through liberals and then you find

00:25:32.620 out the driver is not a conservative or a white guy or whatever and then the narrative

00:25:37.040 kind of goes away.

00:25:38.460 Well, in this case, they weren't driving into, we know the, we know the identity of the crowd

00:25:43.540 he was driving into.

00:25:44.280 They were driving into a Blue Lives Matter conservative crowd and fortunately, liberals 0.89

00:25:51.520 don't know how to drive very well.

00:25:53.440 So as far as I can tell, nobody was injured.

00:25:57.020 That may have changed, but fortunately, the motor skills of left-wingers, not great.

00:26:02.880 So that's one thing we can hang our hats on.

00:26:05.860 Still, this guy should absolutely be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

00:26:10.800 This is the, this is an event run by the Northern Colorado Young Republicans.

00:26:16.160 These are acts of explicit political violence by the left.

00:26:21.520 We've seen a lot of these acts in recent years, going back to the congressional baseball game.

00:26:25.800 Remember when that Bernie bro tried to shoot up and murder many congressmen at that congressional

00:26:30.920 baseball game?

00:26:32.260 You see this time and time again for explicitly political reasons.

00:26:36.820 I asked yesterday on the show, is this just the new normal? 1.00

00:26:40.940 You know, we talk about the new normal with COVID, like you got to wear the stupid masks and 1.00

00:26:44.040 you got whatever. 1.00

00:26:46.000 I don't think that's the, I think the new normal might be political violence.

00:26:49.260 There is a normalization going on of political violence and it's political violence specifically

00:26:54.980 when you contradict the left.

00:26:58.480 It's, and it's, I mean, in this case, it's real violent.

00:27:00.640 You're driving a car into a crowd or the congressional baseball game.

00:27:03.700 You're shooting people, but there's a subtler form of violence, which is you just destroy somebody's

00:27:08.260 life if they contradict the left.

00:27:10.940 You, you ostracize them from society.

00:27:15.640 That is being undertaken right now by the left, but it's not the politicians.

00:27:19.260 It's big tech right now.

00:27:20.820 Big tech is now engaging in the spookiest kind of election interference that we have seen

00:27:26.960 in a very long time, maybe ever.

00:27:29.840 And we also have video just recently uncovered from some of the top people at Google explaining

00:27:37.400 four years ago, exactly what they were going to do.

00:27:40.780 Now we're seeing that project come to fruition.

00:27:43.080 They don't want you to see that either.

00:27:44.500 They're censoring a lot of videos on the internet.

00:27:46.240 I hope they don't take this one down.

00:27:47.520 They probably will.

00:27:48.440 And we'll have to get it out elsewhere, which is why, by the way, we appreciate it that you've

00:27:52.060 subscribed to the Michael Knowles show YouTube channel.

00:27:54.420 We've got a lot of platforms here at this show in case one of them mysteriously goes down.

00:27:58.280 We've got Apple podcasts.

00:27:59.620 We put it on Facebook.

00:28:00.480 We go, obviously we've got my Twitter feed.

00:28:02.400 We go on YouTube, right?

00:28:03.560 We put it, putting it all over the place.

00:28:06.080 So we appreciate when you can go there, ring the bell, subscribe.

00:28:08.900 Also buy Ben's book, How to Destroy America in Three Easy Steps.

00:28:12.900 He did a live signing last Tuesday with me, by the way.

00:28:16.240 And so if you want to get a signed copy, because there might not be any more left in a few days,

00:28:22.620 head on over to dailywire.com slash Ben.

00:28:25.800 Also get the Reader's Pass, one buck for your first month, three bucks a month after that.

00:28:29.180 You get all sorts of exclusive content, great stuff like Drew's most recent,

00:28:32.400 Conservatives Will Lose the Country Without God.

00:28:34.200 It goes really in-depth here.

00:28:36.080 Head on over, check it out, dailywire.com.

00:28:39.180 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:28:40.200 So you saw yesterday, maybe you listened, we played this video of these doctors in white

00:28:58.720 lab coats down there in Washington, giving a press conference about how hydroxychloroquine

00:29:04.020 is effective at treating the coronavirus, which we've known for a very long time.

00:29:08.640 There's been tons of evidence about this, and we've had that drug hydroxychloroquine

00:29:12.080 for years and years and years now.

00:29:14.520 Then there was a study that went up that said that hydroxychloroquine is really bad for you.

00:29:18.680 That study was retracted.

00:29:20.420 It was total BS.

00:29:22.440 Now more evidence.

00:29:23.460 We had a Yale epidemiologist come out just last week in Newsweek, say hydroxychloroquine works

00:29:28.520 very well.

00:29:29.040 You can use it to treat coronavirus.

00:29:31.460 Left doesn't want that information getting out. 0.98

00:29:33.380 Because they've already, they've already sunk so much into this.

00:29:37.880 They've even beyond the kind of conspiracy theory perspective, just, just think about

00:29:43.200 from a very practical political perspective, the left has put all their chips on coronavirus.

00:29:47.520 COVID is the campaign at this point, especially with the second lockdown.

00:29:51.140 They can't let that get up.

00:29:52.560 Even if they did find some medicine, even if hydroxychloroquine is very effective, they

00:29:55.920 can't let that up.

00:29:57.180 Businesses have already planned out their next year based on coronavirus.

00:30:00.940 They're not going to let that up.

00:30:03.020 It's, it's frankly, even the mask issue.

00:30:04.840 Remember I said early on correctly that the masks are a political symbol more than practical

00:30:10.440 medical advice.

00:30:12.380 So that remains true.

00:30:14.000 You can see this in all the disclaimers that, that the people selling the masks have to put

00:30:18.100 on, namely that the masks don't do anything to prevent the transmission of viruses.

00:30:21.960 But I said they're very effective at the, at, as a political symbol.

00:30:26.180 Some people argued for the masks because they said, well, the masks will allow us to reopen.

00:30:30.180 Do you see anything reopening?

00:30:31.880 The more masks we put on, do you think we're opening up more?

00:30:34.340 No, we're shutting down more.

00:30:36.160 And I understand why some people would have mistakenly believed that if you wear the masks,

00:30:41.460 the left will allow the government to open and the country to reopen, but it won't.

00:30:45.540 It's actually the opposite.

00:30:46.660 The reason is that the mask is a reinforcing symbol that we have to remain locked down.

00:30:51.760 It operates on the same principle as a campaign merchandise.

00:30:56.100 When you buy merchandise, like a t-shirt or a hat or something from a political campaign

00:31:00.360 that you support, a lot of people think you do that to donate money to the campaign.

00:31:05.480 Now, it's not about the money.

00:31:06.360 The campaigns don't make very much money at all.

00:31:08.480 Sometimes they lose money on the merchandise.

00:31:10.120 The reason they sell you the merchandise is to tie you to the campaign.

00:31:14.080 Because when you put on the t-shirt of the candidate, you've now taken on support for

00:31:18.820 that candidate as part of your identity.

00:31:20.720 Your behavior has now shifted something in your mind to say that you will be more supportive

00:31:26.440 of that candidate.

00:31:27.680 It's the same thing with the masks.

00:31:29.680 This is why even some conservatives who put on the mask, there is like no evidence that

00:31:33.840 the masks do anything.

00:31:36.040 The masks stop a little bit of spittle from getting out.

00:31:38.700 But unless you're talking like Kenneth Branagh playing Hamlet, you don't need to worry about

00:31:42.600 the spittle.

00:31:44.340 The reason that even some conservatives who put the mask on are now much more supportive

00:31:49.120 of the masks than lockdowns is because it's reinforcing.

00:31:52.380 If you wear the mask, which is such an odd kind of piece of clothing, right?

00:31:57.560 It's an odd accessory.

00:31:58.320 It's an odd symbol.

00:31:59.540 Then you have told yourself that this is very real.

00:32:02.720 And the more you wear it, the more you're going to believe that.

00:32:05.140 The more deeply you're going to be bought into that.

00:32:07.820 And so it comes as no surprise that big tech took down that video of a lot of doctors who

00:32:15.360 are echoing very mainstream medical advice of some of the most respected people in the

00:32:19.800 field saying hydroxychloroquine obviously works.

00:32:23.500 They had to take it down.

00:32:25.200 So they took it down on Facebook.

00:32:26.720 They took it down on Twitter.

00:32:27.860 We had to take down part of our show yesterday because I played that video and they would not

00:32:35.160 allow that up.

00:32:35.760 They are threatening to boot you off of social media if you permit these doctors to speak.

00:32:41.140 Remember, we're supposed to listen to the science.

00:32:42.540 Well, only some scientists, as I told you months ago, has nothing to do with the science,

00:32:49.280 has everything to do with politics.

00:32:52.680 It's not just that.

00:32:54.100 That's not the extent of the social media censorship of scientific voices going on or any other kind

00:33:01.320 of voices.

00:33:03.460 Breitbart just put this video out.

00:33:05.700 It's Breitbart exclusive.

00:33:06.860 Days after the 2016 election, you had a very high-ranking fellow over at Google, Google VP

00:33:14.640 for Global Affairs, Kent Walker, come out, address the first all-hands meeting after the

00:33:19.500 2016 election.

00:33:21.140 It featured, obviously, himself.

00:33:23.840 It featured the CEO of Google, Sandar Pichai.

00:33:26.480 It featured the co-founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page and other Google executives.

00:33:31.540 In this meeting, we'll just play a few clips of it.

00:33:34.860 You can go to Breitbart, watch the whole thing.

00:33:37.920 The VP here for Global Affairs discussed his dismay.

00:33:42.540 He discussed his disgust, frankly, at the 2016 election and specifically laid out in broad

00:33:49.400 terms a plan to combat it in 2020.

00:33:53.540 It was a shock to all of us, the results of the election.

00:33:59.020 This is not the first sign we've seen of this rising tide of nationalism, populism, and concern.

00:34:06.460 While it may be that the Internet and globalization were part of the cause of this problem, we are

00:34:11.400 also fundamentally an essential part of the solution to this problem.

00:34:15.280 And it's important to recognize that while the Republicans and the Trump administration,

00:34:19.580 this Trump administration, they have a majority in the Senate, a majority in the House, they

00:34:22.600 don't have a supermajority in the Senate.

00:34:25.000 The arc goes like this exponentially in terms of standards of living around the world.

00:34:29.960 Yes, it's not completely smooth.

00:34:31.560 It goes up and down.

00:34:32.600 And I think history teaches us that there are periods of populism, of nationalism that rise

00:34:39.120 up.

00:34:39.560 And that's all the reason we need to be in the arena.

00:34:42.500 That's why we have to work so hard to make sure it doesn't turn into a world war or something

00:34:46.760 catastrophic, but instead is a blip, is a hiccup.

00:34:49.760 It's a blip.

00:34:50.420 It's a hiccup.

00:34:51.000 We've got to stop this nationalism.

00:34:52.840 Nationalism is a really bad thing.

00:34:54.240 We need globalism.

00:34:55.820 And that's what we here at Google exist to do, is to undermine the results of the 2016

00:35:00.600 election, undermine the decision of the American people, undermine national sovereignty.

00:35:08.700 No surprise there either.

00:35:10.940 Google is a globalized company, citizens of the world.

00:35:14.240 I don't know that Google has any particular loyalty to the United States.

00:35:19.460 They certainly don't have any particular loyalty to the American people.

00:35:23.520 And they're trying.

00:35:25.040 Google, frankly, on this scientist video, they're the least offenders compared to Facebook and

00:35:33.480 Twitter.

00:35:33.820 But they don't want that information getting out there.

00:35:36.740 And Twitter is rigging Twitter and Facebook and Google.

00:35:39.980 They're all rigging the election as part of the same Breitbart exclusive.

00:35:44.820 They point out that Google has been purging Breitbart content from search results since the 2016

00:35:50.220 election.

00:35:51.200 They find that Breitbart's search visibility is down 99.7% since 2016.

00:35:59.900 That's the survival rate of coronavirus, by the way, at least.

00:36:03.080 Well, that's how much Breitbart has been suppressed since 2016.

00:36:08.580 Google killed basically all search traffic to Breitbart for Joe Biden and Joe Biden-related

00:36:15.540 searches.

00:36:16.040 They are trying, as they told us they would do four years ago, they are trying to shift the

00:36:20.060 election back to the globalist candidate, the candidate who cheered the rise of China very

00:36:24.540 recently.

00:36:25.500 Joe Biden said, it's a wonderful thing that China's gotten more powerful.

00:36:28.500 We're living through the consequences of that right now.

00:36:30.700 Some people haven't learned the lesson, specifically in big tech.

00:36:34.180 We just have to listen to the experts.

00:36:36.360 Well, not the conservative experts, but only the experts who go along with the left.

00:36:43.400 And if you contradict them, by the way, they'll say, well, what's your credential?

00:36:47.600 Are you an expert?

00:36:48.260 Do you have a PhD?

00:36:49.100 Do you have an MD?

00:36:50.640 Where's your credential?

00:36:51.580 Bill Barr, going back to Bill Barr, Bill Barr in that hearing yesterday had such a wonderful

00:36:56.940 rejoinder.

00:36:57.660 We should memorize it.

00:36:58.680 We should remember to say it.

00:37:00.200 A Democratic representative, Mary Gay Scanlon, asked Bill Barr about his expertise.

00:37:05.880 If he had a scientific study to cite, Bill Barr said he had something much more important.

00:37:10.960 Last month, you echoed the president's conspiracy theory when you suggested in at least three

00:37:17.220 interviews that, quote, foreign countries could manufacture counterfeit ballots, end quote,

00:37:22.240 to influence the presidential election.

00:37:24.100 Correct?

00:37:24.320 You did that in at least three interviews?

00:37:26.340 Yes.

00:37:26.640 But in fact, you have no evidence that foreign countries can successfully swear elections with

00:37:32.420 counterfeit ballots, do you?

00:37:33.600 No, I don't.

00:37:36.160 But I have common sense.

00:37:37.420 Okay, well, and that's what you responded when you were directly challenged on that.

00:37:41.740 Yes, that is what he responded.

00:37:43.820 Maybe you should have listened to that, representative.

00:37:45.840 He does have common sense, something sorely lacking on Capitol Hill and among the liberal

00:37:50.280 establishment generally.

00:37:51.420 They don't have common sense because they're disconnected from reality.

00:37:54.900 They have their ideology.

00:37:55.960 They have their fantasies that they write down in manifestos that in no way describe the real

00:38:00.720 world.

00:38:01.100 They've got that.

00:38:02.980 And that's the precise reason that they don't have common sense.

00:38:06.440 And it's why people who don't have fancy degrees and PhDs and all sorts of credentials,

00:38:11.960 that's why they do have common sense.

00:38:14.480 And it's why those people tend to be more correct in the long run than those ideologues.

00:38:19.680 It reminds me of Bill Buckley's old advice.

00:38:21.340 He said he would rather be governed by the first 2,000 people in the phone book than by

00:38:25.760 the faculty of Harvard College.

00:38:28.260 Remember that?

00:38:29.300 That's the idea that we have here.

00:38:30.940 That's the idea of giving sovereignty to we, the people in the United States, something

00:38:35.240 the left is now explicitly denouncing.

00:38:39.040 This is a scandal.

00:38:41.160 What's going on in big tech is a scandal.

00:38:43.500 That hearing on Capitol Hill was a scandal.

00:38:45.680 What they tried to do in 2016 to rig the election was a scandal.

00:38:48.700 Remember when Obama weaponized his, his agencies of government to illegally spy on the Trump

00:38:56.080 campaign?

00:38:56.560 We've got, we've got reams and reams of evidence about this.

00:38:59.740 The left barely denies it anymore.

00:39:01.900 What they do is the same thing they do every time.

00:39:04.540 They say, oh, that's old news.

00:39:06.340 Oh, that, that one's that.

00:39:07.520 Forget about that.

00:39:08.040 That was a long time ago.

00:39:08.840 Stop talking about that.

00:39:09.860 And then they put it down the memory hole because they control the flow of information.

00:39:13.760 Valerie Jarrett, top, top, tippy top advisor to Barack Obama, went on Maria Bartiromo's

00:39:19.200 show yesterday and gave the standard leftist line.

00:39:23.920 Maria, look, I have very, a high degree of confidence that our intelligence community,

00:39:29.240 our investigators, comported themselves responsibly.

00:39:33.060 Look, Lindsey Graham is the one that encouraged Senator McCain to turn over the dossier in the 0.92

00:39:37.900 first place to the FBI.

00:39:39.160 And so I can't tell you all of the reasons why Comey went forward with his investigation.

00:39:44.300 Maybe this was one piece of a bigger puzzle.

00:39:46.840 But I do know that it's nearly four years ago.

00:39:49.760 And I don't understand why our focus isn't on what's happening right now.

00:39:54.080 And today, that's the investigation I'd like to see going on.

00:39:58.160 Oh, this was four years ago.

00:39:59.860 It's old news.

00:40:00.400 The Clintons are, I'm so excited.

00:40:02.680 My voice is like jumping up and down.

00:40:04.460 The Clintons are most famous for using the strategy.

00:40:07.120 They did it all throughout the 90s.

00:40:09.420 They'd say, you know, I did not have sex with that woman. 1.00

00:40:12.020 I didn't do it.

00:40:13.040 And then you find out a year later he did do it.

00:40:15.760 And he goes, well, look, that's old news now.

00:40:17.600 Why are we talking about?

00:40:18.500 It was a long time ago.

00:40:20.340 Oh, come on now. 0.98

00:40:22.140 Let's move on.

00:40:22.700 Got to get on with the business of the country.

00:40:24.800 And so the Clintons perfect this and the left continues to use it more than 20 years later.

00:40:30.220 That's old news.

00:40:31.120 Well, yeah, we just found out about it though.

00:40:32.980 We now have proof.

00:40:34.140 There's a criminal investigation going on led by John Durham.

00:40:36.760 What do you mean we got to stop talking about this?

00:40:38.580 We're in the midst of a presidential election and you people are trying to do it again, albeit

00:40:42.340 through other means.

00:40:45.440 That's what's going on.

00:40:46.300 You feel like you're, you feel like you're Bill Barr. 0.98

00:40:48.440 You feel like you're living in this clown world. 0.94

00:40:51.240 Looking around, you're saying, are you Eric Swovel? 0.91

00:40:53.660 Are you, are you a real person?

00:40:55.520 Valerie Jarrett?

00:40:56.180 Are you seriously saying this with your Google?

00:40:58.600 Are you really, are you really saying these things?

00:41:00.400 That is the effect of ideology.

00:41:02.660 That's the effect of mass hysteria. 0.88

00:41:05.160 Do you really think a virus with at least a 99.7% survival rate is worth not leaving your home

00:41:13.400 for five months?

00:41:17.560 Do you, and do you really think, by the way, if we have a treatment that is effective at

00:41:20.740 treating it, that we should suppress that information?

00:41:22.920 What kind of bizarro, delusional fantasy world do you have to live in to believe that?

00:41:29.560 You have to live in the bizarro, delusional fantasy world of the left.

00:41:32.880 Greatest example of this, the teachers unions, the teachers union. 0.92

00:41:37.420 You thought that the black and white selfie thing on Instagram was ridiculous? 0.63

00:41:41.600 At least that one's kind of funny.

00:41:42.700 At least we all get a kick out of this.

00:41:45.160 The teachers unions, it's just sad.

00:41:47.000 Teachers unions in D.C. right now, they are lining up body bags outside of school system

00:41:55.720 offices to protest having to come do their jobs.

00:42:00.520 Because they're saying if we, if teachers have to show up and teach students, then they're

00:42:05.560 all going to die. 0.90

00:42:06.360 It's going to be a slaughter of teachers. 0.80

00:42:07.720 By the way, there are studies out of Sweden and Finland right now where schools have been

00:42:11.620 opened over whether the virus is even being transmitted in the schools.

00:42:15.980 No evidence that it is.

00:42:17.360 No evidence.

00:42:17.840 Zero.

00:42:18.380 Bupkis.

00:42:18.860 Nothing. 0.99

00:42:19.980 But these hysterical, frivolous, ridiculous teachers in D.C. are pretending that it is. 0.96

00:42:27.660 The teachers are saying, no, we can't, we're, we can't go in. 0.96

00:42:31.080 We're the heroes.

00:42:31.880 You can't make us come in and do our jobs.

00:42:34.240 That's how powerful, you know, teachers unions have been powerful for a very long time.

00:42:37.880 Now we're seeing them flex that muscle.

00:42:39.160 One thing I, I also want to point out to you, this is the exact same narrative from the first

00:42:45.100 wave of the virus, except for the first wave of the virus, it was the nurses that were the 0.88

00:42:50.340 heroes, the martyrs, the most wonderful, they shouldn't be expected to do their jobs.

00:42:54.040 You got to stay home for the nurses.

00:42:55.960 And then the nurses started sending out pictures and videos about how the hospitals were largely

00:43:01.540 empty and we never got close to overwhelming capacity.

00:43:03.780 And then some nurses started posting TikTok videos of them dancing in the empty hallways.

00:43:07.600 And we thought, okay, well, yikes.

00:43:09.380 Okay.

00:43:09.620 The left can't use those nurses anymore as the emblem of why you need to stay home and 0.73

00:43:13.960 imprison yourself in your house. 0.59

00:43:15.400 So then it shifted to the teachers, but it's the same narrative.

00:43:19.220 There's no, it's the same idolization of these people.

00:43:22.600 It's the same.

00:43:23.620 No one has ever sacrificed more than these people sacrifice.

00:43:28.180 Mark my words in two weeks, we're going to get some teacher TikTok videos and then we're

00:43:32.520 going to have to move on to another victim group.

00:43:35.240 Preposterous.

00:43:35.600 Do you know how preposterous it is?

00:43:38.060 The schools are not reopening in a great many places.

00:43:42.200 So the kids are not allowed to go to school, but they are allowed to go to the school building

00:43:49.600 for daycare up to eighth grade, by the way.

00:43:54.440 So in Austin, Texas, the Austin, Texas independent school district has declared all instruction

00:44:02.660 will be virtual from August 18th to September 7th, at least.

00:44:06.100 So the YMCA of Austin has extended its summertime essential programming to children, some children who are teenagers,

00:44:19.560 so that they can go to daycare and do their schoolwork, their virtual schoolwork online.

00:44:25.240 Do you know where the YMCA of Austin is doing this sort of thing?

00:44:28.120 In the school building.

00:44:30.340 So the kids are going to the school building, but they are not allowed to be in school, but they are doing their schoolwork in the school building.

00:44:45.140 It's always sunny in Washington, D.C.

00:44:49.560 It's always sunny in the USA.

00:44:52.120 That's the world we're living in, folks.

00:44:54.280 Upside down, bizarro world.

00:44:55.700 Are we going to tolerate it?

00:44:56.920 Are we going to try to restore some sense of order?

00:44:58.920 It's all about November.

00:45:00.420 Let's see who comes out ahead.

00:45:02.260 That's our show.
