Ep. 590 - The Left Can’t Lose

Summary

The Democrats are preparing for the possibility that if Donald Trump wins the election, they will refuse to accept the results of the election and refuse to hand over power to the next president, Hillary Clinton. The New York Times reports that the Democratic National Committee is preparing for a repeat of 2016, when John Podesta refused to concede the election.

00:00:37.660 Democrats are terrified that if Trump loses, he might not accept the results of the election.
00:00:44.680 He might not turn over power.
00:00:47.520 Gosh, can you imagine a political party not accepting the results of an election?
00:00:50.360 Gosh, I don't know.
00:00:51.280 In recent memory, perhaps.
00:00:52.720 In any case, the majority whip for the Democrats in the House, Jim Clyburn, is now comparing the president to Hitler and Mussolini
00:01:02.420 because of the imaginary world in which Trump won't accept the results of a free and fair election.
00:01:08.660 Take a listen.
00:01:09.180 I feel very strongly that this man has taken on strong-arm tactics, and I feel very strongly that he is Mussolini, Putin is Hitler.
00:01:25.060 I said that back then, and I believe that.
00:01:27.940 I believe very strongly that this guy never had any idea about being one to peacefully transfer a power.
00:01:38.180 I don't think he plans to leave the White House.
00:01:42.000 He doesn't plan to have fair and unfettered elections.
00:01:46.020 I believe that he plans to install himself in some kind of emergency way to continue to hold on to office.
00:01:55.460 And that's why the American people had better wake up.
00:01:59.020 I know a little bit about history, and I know how countries find their demise.
00:02:03.960 It is when we fail to let democracy, and the fundamentals of which, is a fair, unfettered election.
00:02:12.160 Could you imagine if a political party in the United States refused to acknowledge the Democratic choice
00:02:21.340 and refused to concede an election for, oh, I don't know, a few days or a few years
00:02:26.000 and launch a bunch of ridiculous investigations based on nothing?
00:02:29.280 The Democrats, as always, projecting, accusing the Republicans of doing exactly what they did in 2016.
00:02:36.280 And the fear that they do it again has never been higher.
00:02:40.420 We'll get into the Democrat war games of how they will not concede the presidential election.
00:02:46.100 All that and more.
00:02:46.620 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:02:47.120 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:47.860 Welcome back to the show.
00:02:57.120 There is one lesson that we all need to keep in mind as we look ahead to November,
00:03:02.700 which is that the left can't lose.
00:03:07.060 The left can't.
00:03:08.180 It's not just that they shouldn't lose or they're probably going to win this time.
00:03:12.520 The left, in their own minds, cannot lose.
00:03:15.600 When the left loses, that is evidence that the election was illegitimate.
00:03:21.740 New York Times just published this piece.
00:03:24.320 This is from Ben Smith.
00:03:25.900 How the media could get the election story wrong.
00:03:28.740 And it's a typical story setting you up to not get an answer on election night
00:03:32.980 so that they can continue to count the mail-in ballots
00:03:35.120 and magically come up with the number that allows them to win.
00:03:38.880 But that's not the most interesting part of the article.
00:03:40.980 The most interesting part, as always with the New York Times,
00:03:43.460 is in the last three paragraphs.
00:03:45.600 This is how the New York Times spreads fake news.
00:03:47.400 It's the first number of paragraphs are all a bunch of BS.
00:03:50.120 But then you get down to the bottom three paragraphs,
00:03:52.440 and that's where the interesting stuff is.
00:03:54.440 According to Ben Smith,
00:03:55.740 a group of former top government officials called the Transition Integrity Project
00:03:59.100 actually gamed four possible scenarios,
00:04:02.180 including one that doesn't look that different from 2016,
00:04:05.220 a big popular win for Mr. Biden
00:04:07.960 and a narrow electoral defeat,
00:04:09.680 presumably reached after weeks of counting the votes in Pennsylvania.
00:04:13.040 For their war game,
00:04:14.560 they cast John Podesta,
00:04:16.600 who was Hillary's campaign chairman.
00:04:18.640 He's that weirdo with all the spirit cooking emails that came out.
00:04:21.760 So John Podesta, huge, huge Democratic figure.
00:04:24.800 He was cast in the role of Mr. Biden.
00:04:27.600 They expected him, when the votes came in,
00:04:29.840 to concede, just as Mrs. Clinton had.
00:04:32.180 Pause there for one moment.
00:04:35.280 John Podesta ran the Hillary Clinton campaign.
00:04:38.020 You will remember on election night when she lost,
00:04:40.320 they did not concede.
00:04:42.880 Actually, Hillary didn't even show up.
00:04:44.800 Podesta walked out on that stage in New York,
00:04:46.980 came out, and then refused to concede.
00:04:49.460 They didn't concede until the next day.
00:04:51.920 So already you've got the lie in here
00:04:55.280 to make up for what Podesta's about to do,
00:04:57.240 which is completely in character.
00:04:58.800 Mr. Podesta, playing Mr. Biden,
00:05:00.380 shocked the organizers by saying he felt his party
00:05:02.820 wouldn't let him concede.
00:05:04.620 Alleging voter suppression,
00:05:05.900 he persuaded the governors of Wisconsin and Michigan
00:05:07.740 to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.
00:05:10.360 In that scenario, California, Oregon, and Washington
00:05:12.600 then threatened to secede from the U.S.
00:05:14.280 if Mr. Trump took office as planned.
00:05:16.480 The House named Mr. Biden president.
00:05:18.140 The Senate and White House stuck with Mr. Trump.
00:05:20.160 At that point in the scenario,
00:05:21.980 the nation stopped looking to the media for cues
00:05:23.980 and waited to see what the military would do.
00:05:28.140 Secession, civil war.
00:05:30.380 It's a threat.
00:05:31.120 It's a threat in the Democratic Party mouthpiece,
00:05:33.480 which is called the New York Times.
00:05:35.160 They're not going to accept the results of the election.
00:05:37.640 They're pretending that it's Mr. Trump
00:05:39.100 who's not going to acknowledge the results of the election,
00:05:42.280 but it's really the Democrats.
00:05:44.340 Because the Democrats never acknowledge
00:05:46.140 the results of the election.
00:05:48.160 The Democrats didn't acknowledge
00:05:49.320 the results of the election in 2016.
00:05:52.240 And then going back to the last Republican
00:05:53.800 of this millennium,
00:05:55.320 they didn't acknowledge the results of the election in 2000.
00:05:57.720 They don't do it because they're always supposed to win.
00:06:01.060 You know, the Democratic representative,
00:06:02.940 John Lewis, just passed away.
00:06:05.160 And there have been lots of funerals
00:06:06.840 and celebrations of his life around the country.
00:06:10.180 John Lewis, you will recall,
00:06:12.400 also didn't acknowledge the results of the 2016 election.
00:06:16.360 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:06:17.500 First, though, I've got to thank our friends
00:06:19.120 over at my absolute favorite hobby supplier
00:06:25.220 of at least half of my life.
00:06:28.280 I'm talking about Thompson Cigar.
00:06:30.220 Thompson Cigar, I have used these guys,
00:06:32.720 they have the greatest selection of cigars
00:06:34.520 on planet Earth,
00:06:36.220 certainly in the entire United States.
00:06:38.680 I've used them since I was 16,
00:06:40.560 when my mother bought me my first box of cigars
00:06:43.200 when I was but a wee lad.
00:06:44.820 These days, everyone is spending a lot more time
00:06:46.480 around the house.
00:06:47.040 If you're anything like me,
00:06:48.320 you're running out of ways to stay entertained.
00:06:50.560 And luckily, Thompson Cigar
00:06:51.900 has hours of entertainment just a click away.
00:06:55.300 You know I love cigars.
00:06:57.240 It's my favorite way to unwind.
00:06:59.060 It's my favorite way to focus my thoughts.
00:07:00.780 It's the sort of thing you can do alone
00:07:02.480 and you finally force yourself to sit down and think
00:07:04.800 and just be by yourself
00:07:06.260 and cool down for about 40 minutes.
00:07:07.880 Or it's a great social equalizer.
00:07:09.760 Everybody can do it.
00:07:10.860 They always say cigars,
00:07:11.900 it's where everyone from a construction worker
00:07:13.860 to a CEO,
00:07:14.520 they come into the same place
00:07:16.180 and they engage in the same.
00:07:17.720 It's just one.
00:07:18.260 I couldn't speak highly enough.
00:07:20.680 Thompson has over 12,000 different cigar options
00:07:22.460 available right now.
00:07:23.160 They also have amazing deals.
00:07:24.980 They always have,
00:07:25.480 and they have great bundles.
00:07:26.540 So you can try different sampler packs.
00:07:28.940 For a limited time,
00:07:30.020 Thompson's offering 15% orders over 75 bucks
00:07:32.740 or 20% off orders over 99 bucks.
00:07:36.160 I was just smoking one of their Davidoffs the other day.
00:07:39.180 Great stick.
00:07:39.900 You'll never beat the prices
00:07:40.880 that they have on Davidoff.
00:07:42.120 Or you can get another great value for your money,
00:07:44.460 some Oliva,
00:07:45.100 some My Father,
00:07:45.760 some Nub,
00:07:46.180 some Cain.
00:07:46.940 The list goes on and on.
00:07:48.340 Tweet me.
00:07:48.820 I'll send you my recommendations.
00:07:50.340 Take advantage of these incredible savings.
00:07:52.060 Go to ThompsonCigar.com.
00:07:53.820 Use promo code Knowles
00:07:54.760 when you're ready to check out.
00:07:55.960 That website is Thompson,
00:07:56.820 T-H-O-M-P-S-O-N,
00:07:58.900 Cigar.com.
00:07:59.560 Promo code Knowles.
00:08:02.740 So John Lewis,
00:08:04.000 whose funeral we'll get to in one second
00:08:05.660 because Barack Obama's eulogy at that funeral
00:08:07.900 has made huge waves.
00:08:09.480 A lot of conservatives are attacking Obama for it.
00:08:12.880 Bizarrely,
00:08:13.440 I think I'm actually going to be defending Obama.
00:08:16.000 But let's remember that John Lewis,
00:08:19.040 this now sainted figure
00:08:20.540 that the left has put above politics,
00:08:22.740 they sort of want to say
00:08:23.800 that he wasn't exactly a partisan figure.
00:08:27.240 John Lewis, I think,
00:08:28.360 embodied,
00:08:29.200 he typified the Democratic Party
00:08:31.220 in that in 2016,
00:08:34.660 John Lewis refused to acknowledge
00:08:36.860 the results of that presidential election.
00:08:39.480 I believe in forgiveness.
00:08:42.640 I believe in trying to work with people.
00:08:46.040 It's going to be hard.
00:08:47.360 It's going to be very difficult.
00:08:49.820 I don't see this president-elect
00:08:52.660 as a legitimate president.
00:08:55.100 You do not consider him a legitimate president.
00:08:57.380 Why is that?
00:08:57.820 I think the Russians participated
00:09:01.980 in helping this man get elected
00:09:05.400 and they helped destroy the candidacy
00:09:09.960 of Hillary Clinton.
00:09:11.780 There it is.
00:09:13.460 He is not the legitimate president
00:09:15.960 and therefore they're going to litigate
00:09:18.940 for four years
00:09:19.780 how he's not really the president
00:09:22.220 and Hillary should have won
00:09:23.100 and on and on.
00:09:24.300 This was not the first time
00:09:25.760 that John Lewis refused
00:09:27.840 to accept the results of the election.
00:09:29.360 Actually, he did that
00:09:31.060 when George Bush won in 2000.
00:09:33.340 He refused to attend the inauguration.
00:09:36.200 Now, you might say,
00:09:36.880 oh, well, those were just
00:09:37.560 two close elections
00:09:38.520 and it's understandable
00:09:40.320 that he wouldn't concede.
00:09:42.140 Until you remember
00:09:43.140 that those are the only two Republicans
00:09:45.480 elected this millennium, right?
00:09:48.720 Since we're in a new century,
00:09:50.140 a new millennium,
00:09:51.080 both of these guys
00:09:52.820 over the course of 20 years now
00:09:54.780 were not acknowledged
00:09:56.720 by a major leading Democrat
00:09:58.940 as the legitimate presidents.
00:10:00.620 And John Lewis
00:10:01.100 certainly was not the only Democratic leader
00:10:04.360 not to acknowledge these guys
00:10:06.080 as the legitimate presidents.
00:10:07.440 one of the most respected politicians
00:10:11.920 of that party
00:10:13.760 refused to accept
00:10:15.420 every single presidential election
00:10:17.100 in the century
00:10:17.660 in which a Republican won.
00:10:19.360 This exposes a key difference
00:10:21.360 in how the right and the left
00:10:23.480 look at politics.
00:10:25.020 Because while Barack Obama's
00:10:26.800 eulogy of John Lewis
00:10:27.700 is getting all the attention,
00:10:29.140 another former president
00:10:30.300 gave a eulogy of John Lewis,
00:10:31.900 that man, George W. Bush.
00:10:33.980 Take a listen
00:10:34.500 to the way that George Bush
00:10:36.200 speaks of John Lewis.
00:10:38.180 He always thought of others.
00:10:41.560 He always believed
00:10:42.820 in preaching the gospel
00:10:44.000 in word and in deed,
00:10:47.440 insisting that hate and fear
00:10:49.520 had to be answered
00:10:50.440 with love and hope.
00:10:54.060 John Lewis believed in the Lord.
00:10:55.580 He believed in humanity
00:10:58.260 and he believed in America.
00:11:00.540 Listen, John and I
00:11:01.700 had our disagreements, of course.
00:11:04.460 But in the America
00:11:05.720 John Lewis fought for
00:11:07.080 and the America I believe
00:11:08.800 in differences of opinion
00:11:11.240 are inevitable elements
00:11:13.640 and evidence
00:11:14.520 of democracy in action.
00:11:17.520 Oh, George,
00:11:19.280 you innocent,
00:11:20.520 lovely man, you.
00:11:21.420 George Bush
00:11:23.240 is espousing
00:11:23.860 a view of politics
00:11:24.880 that I think
00:11:25.700 all we conservatives
00:11:26.640 want to get behind.
00:11:28.320 It's one where
00:11:29.120 maybe we have
00:11:30.660 some differences
00:11:31.240 of opinion
00:11:31.820 but that's okay.
00:11:32.980 We can all get along together.
00:11:34.580 Sometimes you win
00:11:35.460 and sometimes I win
00:11:36.860 but we're all still Americans
00:11:38.660 at the end of the day
00:11:39.480 and that's just
00:11:40.020 the way politics works.
00:11:41.660 That is not the way
00:11:43.440 the left looks at things.
00:11:45.840 The way left looks at things
00:11:47.100 is sometimes we win
00:11:48.060 and sometimes you lose.
00:11:49.020 And that's the only way
00:11:50.920 it's ever going to happen
00:11:51.800 and if it's ever different
00:11:53.160 than that,
00:11:53.760 it's illegitimate.
00:11:56.660 Barack Obama, I think,
00:11:58.660 gave a, in a way,
00:11:59.820 a more appropriate eulogy
00:12:02.140 given the political tenor
00:12:04.860 of the funeral.
00:12:06.340 Here's just a little clip
00:12:07.440 of Barack Obama's
00:12:08.520 stump speech eulogy.
00:12:11.020 But today,
00:12:12.280 we witness with our own eyes
00:12:14.720 police officers
00:12:15.480 kneeling on the necks.
00:12:16.500 of black Americans.
00:12:23.460 George Wallace may be gone
00:12:25.140 but we can witness
00:12:29.600 our federal government
00:12:32.420 sending agents
00:12:33.420 to use tear gas and batons
00:12:35.200 against peaceful demonstrators.
00:12:37.820 But even as we sit here,
00:12:39.820 there are those in power
00:12:42.600 who are doing their darndest
00:12:44.780 to discourage people
00:12:47.900 from voting
00:12:48.480 by closing polling locations
00:12:51.340 and targeting minorities
00:12:53.160 and students
00:12:54.520 with restrictive ID laws
00:12:56.560 and attacking our voting rights
00:12:58.740 with surgical precision,
00:13:01.100 even undermining
00:13:02.420 the postal service
00:13:04.100 in the run-up
00:13:05.360 to an election
00:13:06.420 that's going to be dependent
00:13:08.780 on mail-in ballots
00:13:09.820 so people don't get sick.
00:13:12.260 Those Republicans
00:13:13.300 are stealing your votes.
00:13:15.000 They're stealing the election.
00:13:16.280 They're no better
00:13:16.800 than George Wallace.
00:13:17.920 They're segregationists.
00:13:19.160 They're racists.
00:13:20.880 Okay, I hope you all
00:13:21.660 have a lovely funeral.
00:13:22.660 John Lewis was a good guy.
00:13:24.260 That is outrageous, right?
00:13:27.640 We all look at that.
00:13:29.280 Everyone from conservatives
00:13:32.040 to reasonable liberals
00:13:33.880 looks at that kind of eulogy
00:13:35.500 and says,
00:13:36.120 how outrageous.
00:13:37.760 You've got a man there
00:13:38.840 who's had a very impressive
00:13:40.520 political career,
00:13:41.600 who's meant a lot
00:13:42.440 to a lot of Americans,
00:13:43.600 and you're supposed
00:13:44.660 to be celebrating his life,
00:13:46.060 and instead,
00:13:47.160 you turn it into a stump speech.
00:13:49.240 Right?
00:13:49.540 We don't like that.
00:13:50.680 That's kind of,
00:13:51.220 we find that to be very ugly.
00:13:52.980 However,
00:13:54.020 the thing that is worth
00:13:55.700 remembering here
00:13:56.500 is that the left treats politics
00:14:00.040 different than the right does.
00:14:01.460 In a way,
00:14:02.260 I think this political stump speech
00:14:03.920 was absolutely appropriate
00:14:05.460 because while the left
00:14:06.660 wants to create an image
00:14:07.520 of John Lewis
00:14:08.060 as this man above politics,
00:14:10.060 he's above the right
00:14:10.940 and the left,
00:14:11.400 he's above the political fray,
00:14:13.220 that's not how John Lewis
00:14:14.220 viewed himself.
00:14:15.000 John Lewis was a 17-term member
00:14:17.460 of the House of Representatives.
00:14:18.720 He was openly
00:14:19.380 one of the most ardent liberals
00:14:21.300 in the House,
00:14:22.220 if not the single most ardent liberal
00:14:23.960 in the House.
00:14:24.940 He was referred to
00:14:26.700 by the Washington Post
00:14:27.840 as a fiercely partisan Democrat.
00:14:30.900 So,
00:14:32.060 I think it's perfectly understandable.
00:14:33.740 I don't think it's disrespectful
00:14:35.160 of Barack Obama
00:14:36.640 to John Lewis' memory
00:14:38.480 to come out
00:14:39.260 and give this political speech.
00:14:40.920 And frankly,
00:14:41.640 that's how the left
00:14:42.200 is looking at that right now.
00:14:44.120 The key to remember
00:14:45.260 is the left must win.
00:14:48.460 We'll get to that in one second.
00:14:49.940 We'll get to the political basis
00:14:52.620 of why that is true.
00:14:53.580 But first,
00:14:54.140 I've got to thank our friends
00:14:54.820 over at Pure Talk.
00:14:55.800 Who is your wireless provider?
00:14:57.360 Is it AT&T?
00:14:58.000 Is it Verizon?
00:14:58.660 Is it T-Mobile?
00:14:59.700 What if I told you
00:15:00.640 Pure Talk USA
00:15:01.820 uses the exact same
00:15:04.620 cell phone network
00:15:05.800 as one of those providers?
00:15:09.400 Same towers,
00:15:10.640 same coverage,
00:15:12.000 but it costs you half the price.
00:15:13.540 I'm not saying it's similar.
00:15:14.740 I'm not saying it's sort of like this,
00:15:16.420 but the exact same one.
00:15:18.380 What if I told you that?
00:15:19.660 It sounds crazy.
00:15:20.960 When I first heard about Pure Talk,
00:15:22.340 I thought this is simply not possible.
00:15:25.120 I don't buy it.
00:15:26.060 I think it's BS.
00:15:27.240 Then I looked at their customer reviews.
00:15:28.420 Angela from Midland, Texas.
00:15:29.860 The absolute test
00:15:30.580 was visiting my parents
00:15:31.360 who live out in the country.
00:15:32.540 I have tried to use
00:15:33.140 ATT Sprint and Verizon.
00:15:34.760 None worked
00:15:35.280 until I went into town.
00:15:37.080 Pure Talk worked excellently
00:15:38.420 at their house.
00:15:38.960 I was so excited.
00:15:39.960 Switching is very easy.
00:15:41.980 You keep your phone,
00:15:42.720 they'll send you a SIM card
00:15:43.640 so you can get
00:15:44.660 the same great service
00:15:45.620 you currently have
00:15:46.380 at half the price.
00:15:47.840 Unlimited talk text
00:15:48.720 and two gigs of data.
00:15:49.660 You know how much that costs you?
00:15:51.000 20 bucks a month.
00:15:51.960 $20 per month.
00:15:53.500 The average person
00:15:54.260 is saving $400 per year.
00:15:56.380 Why is it so much cheaper
00:15:57.260 than the other guys?
00:15:58.000 No retail stores,
00:15:58.900 no billion dollar a year
00:15:59.740 ad campaigns,
00:16:00.780 no value ads to your contract
00:16:02.440 that you end up paying for.
00:16:04.380 You only pay for the data
00:16:05.960 that you need.
00:16:06.880 And their customer service,
00:16:07.720 by the way,
00:16:08.040 this is my favorite part of all,
00:16:09.520 right here in the United States.
00:16:10.640 Here's the deal.
00:16:11.160 Unlimited talk,
00:16:12.000 unlimited text,
00:16:12.920 two gigs of data
00:16:13.580 for 20 bucks a month.
00:16:14.440 All you need to do
00:16:14.880 is grab your phone,
00:16:16.080 dial pound 250,
00:16:17.460 and say the keyword
00:16:19.040 Michael Knowles.
00:16:20.260 That is pound 250,
00:16:22.140 say the keyword
00:16:22.720 Michael Knowles
00:16:23.880 and when you do,
00:16:25.120 you will save
00:16:25.880 50% off
00:16:27.020 your first month.
00:16:28.780 Head on over,
00:16:29.440 do it right now.
00:16:29.940 So the reason
00:16:34.600 that the left must win
00:16:35.680 and if they don't win,
00:16:36.300 it's illegitimate
00:16:36.820 is because of the basis
00:16:37.920 of the politics.
00:16:39.260 For conservatives,
00:16:40.420 the basis of politics
00:16:41.560 is philosophy.
00:16:43.200 For the left,
00:16:44.660 for progressives,
00:16:45.880 the basis of politics
00:16:47.140 is science.
00:16:49.040 What do I mean by that?
00:16:50.760 For conservatives,
00:16:52.280 they view politics
00:16:53.880 as a debate
00:16:54.960 of eternal questions,
00:16:56.660 justice,
00:16:58.080 freedom,
00:16:59.180 equality,
00:16:59.940 what this means,
00:17:00.840 what this means
00:17:01.300 at any given point in time
00:17:02.660 for any given people
00:17:03.400 in any particular place,
00:17:04.700 what trade-offs
00:17:05.460 we will have to accept
00:17:06.440 as we take this philosophy
00:17:08.040 and put it into
00:17:08.940 real political circumstances.
00:17:11.160 For the last
00:17:11.860 at least 150 years,
00:17:13.180 probably more,
00:17:14.100 the left
00:17:14.580 and progressives
00:17:15.600 in particular,
00:17:16.440 right,
00:17:16.640 that's the word,
00:17:17.220 progressive,
00:17:18.220 has viewed politics
00:17:19.680 as a science.
00:17:21.120 So even the word
00:17:21.960 progress includes this.
00:17:23.120 There is an end.
00:17:24.220 It's obvious.
00:17:25.460 It takes part
00:17:26.440 in a science of history
00:17:29.220 that Marx
00:17:30.660 probably made
00:17:31.740 most famous,
00:17:32.680 which is that
00:17:33.100 history unfolds
00:17:35.100 like a science.
00:17:36.460 It is inevitable.
00:17:37.840 The arc of history
00:17:38.840 is long,
00:17:39.240 but it bends
00:17:39.560 toward justice.
00:17:40.440 You can be on the right
00:17:41.140 side of history
00:17:41.640 or on the wrong
00:17:42.220 side of history.
00:17:43.180 And so politics
00:17:43.900 is not the debate
00:17:45.260 of these different
00:17:45.960 philosophical questions.
00:17:47.680 Politics is the
00:17:48.660 expert uncovering
00:17:50.060 of the undebatable
00:17:51.740 science of history.
00:17:54.080 And so you are
00:17:55.500 either progressing
00:17:56.580 in the right direction
00:17:57.340 or you're standing
00:17:58.280 in the way of progress,
00:17:59.280 which makes you
00:17:59.860 either incredibly stupid
00:18:00.920 or incredibly evil.
00:18:03.160 Because there is
00:18:05.020 an obvious path
00:18:06.100 toward this progressive
00:18:07.640 end of society,
00:18:08.660 this perfectly rational
00:18:10.040 society,
00:18:10.780 where there are
00:18:11.820 no questions
00:18:12.600 and we don't have
00:18:13.220 to debate our citizens.
00:18:14.280 We just look to
00:18:15.060 the experts in the lab coats
00:18:16.140 and they tell us
00:18:16.600 what to do.
00:18:17.540 Because of that,
00:18:18.520 it is not possible
00:18:19.980 that you could
00:18:21.280 legitimately impede that.
00:18:22.840 because they view
00:18:25.740 politics ridiculously
00:18:27.620 as a science,
00:18:30.040 it would be like
00:18:31.040 someone coming up
00:18:32.180 to you and debating
00:18:34.620 whether 2 plus 2
00:18:35.500 equaled 4.
00:18:36.620 It would be like
00:18:37.100 someone coming up
00:18:37.800 to you and debating
00:18:38.800 a law of physics
00:18:39.680 that force equals
00:18:41.000 mass times acceleration.
00:18:43.080 You'd say,
00:18:43.560 you can't debate that.
00:18:44.520 There is no room
00:18:45.280 for legitimate agreement.
00:18:46.600 We're right
00:18:47.280 and you people
00:18:48.240 are extremely stupid
00:18:49.540 and or evil
00:18:50.640 and so if we lose,
00:18:53.620 something has gone
00:18:54.600 horribly wrong.
00:18:56.380 This science of history,
00:18:58.200 this progressivism,
00:18:59.960 you can think of it
00:19:00.820 as kind of Darwinism.
00:19:02.060 Actually,
00:19:02.780 Darwin's theory of evolution
00:19:04.220 is what the early
00:19:05.500 progressives described
00:19:06.460 as displacing
00:19:07.460 the Newtonian idea
00:19:08.980 of mechanics
00:19:09.580 that they view
00:19:10.300 the Constitution as.
00:19:11.360 So they view
00:19:12.440 the Constitution
00:19:12.980 basically as being
00:19:14.900 built around
00:19:15.860 Newton's idea of physics
00:19:17.360 that there are these
00:19:18.060 fixed laws of the universe
00:19:19.140 and that's why
00:19:19.660 you have separation of powers
00:19:20.620 and they said,
00:19:21.600 yeah,
00:19:21.760 Darwin got rid of
00:19:22.660 all that BS
00:19:23.260 that nothing is objective.
00:19:24.760 Everything is on a continuum
00:19:26.240 toward progress.
00:19:27.480 That's why we are going
00:19:28.300 to be the progressives
00:19:29.240 evolving toward
00:19:30.440 the highest form of life.
00:19:32.280 Because of that,
00:19:33.540 this new science of history
00:19:34.740 means that newer
00:19:35.880 is always better.
00:19:37.560 That's why they hate
00:19:38.120 the past.
00:19:38.880 That's why they hate
00:19:39.460 even some of their own
00:19:40.300 leaders in the past
00:19:41.040 including Woodrow Wilson,
00:19:42.520 one of the first progressives
00:19:43.340 whose statues
00:19:44.300 they just knocked down
00:19:44.980 at Princeton.
00:19:46.000 So newer has to be better,
00:19:48.100 old has to be bad,
00:19:49.220 all historical figures
00:19:50.640 ultimately must fall
00:19:51.560 and this leads
00:19:52.240 to some ridiculous moments
00:19:53.440 such as
00:19:54.300 over the past week
00:19:55.620 when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
00:19:58.360 who is frequently wrong
00:19:59.540 but never in doubt
00:20:00.620 went around
00:20:01.620 the Capitol building
00:20:02.460 and decided
00:20:03.460 to shame
00:20:04.200 the figures
00:20:04.800 of the white men
00:20:06.240 whose statues existed
00:20:08.100 including
00:20:09.280 I kid you not
00:20:10.820 a Catholic saint
00:20:12.980 who gave his life
00:20:14.760 caring for lepers,
00:20:16.220 for actual lepers.
00:20:17.880 AOC takes this video
00:20:19.780 and she writes
00:20:20.760 on this video
00:20:21.280 of St. Damien of Molokai.
00:20:23.560 Even when we select figures
00:20:24.760 to tell the stories
00:20:25.400 of colonized places
00:20:26.280 it is the colonizers
00:20:27.540 and the settlers
00:20:28.260 whose stories are told
00:20:29.720 and virtually no one else.
00:20:31.900 So Damien of Molokai
00:20:33.620 lived in this Hawaiian island
00:20:35.180 and AOC says
00:20:36.760 it's not Queen Liliokalani
00:20:38.520 the only Queen Regnant of Hawaii
00:20:40.900 who is immortalized
00:20:42.100 and whose story is told
00:20:43.060 it is Father Damien.
00:20:45.500 This is what patriarchy
00:20:46.820 and white supremacy
00:20:47.760 culture looks like.
00:20:49.240 It's not radical or crazy
00:20:50.480 to understand the influence
00:20:51.540 white supremacist culture
00:20:52.900 has historically had
00:20:54.420 in our overall culture
00:20:55.780 and how it impacts
00:20:56.420 the present day.
00:20:58.000 She obviously picked
00:20:58.860 a bad example here
00:21:00.060 because he's literally
00:21:02.100 a Catholic saint.
00:21:03.660 Right?
00:21:03.860 He is a sainted man
00:21:05.420 who gave more of himself
00:21:07.560 than anyone on the left
00:21:09.460 has ever done.
00:21:10.160 Right?
00:21:10.280 This is a guy
00:21:11.220 who selflessly
00:21:13.420 literally gave his life
00:21:14.580 caring for others
00:21:15.200 and AOC is a counselor
00:21:16.960 of fraud
00:21:17.460 who doesn't appear
00:21:18.020 to have ever done
00:21:18.600 anything useful
00:21:19.100 for anybody.
00:21:20.320 But she's also wrong
00:21:21.580 on the facts
00:21:22.220 because she says
00:21:23.680 the statue doesn't
00:21:24.660 honor Queen Liliokalani
00:21:26.680 of Hawaii
00:21:27.100 except it does
00:21:27.880 because Queen Liliokalani
00:21:29.340 actually traveled
00:21:30.360 to Molokai
00:21:31.160 to present
00:21:32.140 the knight commander
00:21:33.220 of the royal order
00:21:34.100 of Kalakaua
00:21:34.920 to St. Damien
00:21:36.460 and she was so moved
00:21:38.020 and shocked
00:21:38.720 by what she saw
00:21:40.820 on that island
00:21:41.420 that she could
00:21:42.580 barely even muster
00:21:43.920 the courage to do it.
00:21:45.220 She loved that man.
00:21:46.020 Actually it was
00:21:46.380 Queen Liliokalani
00:21:47.520 who was part
00:21:48.440 of the reason
00:21:48.940 why we now know
00:21:50.380 of St. Damien
00:21:51.320 with such worldwide fame.
00:21:55.980 We can laugh
00:21:57.000 at the AOC thing
00:21:57.940 but AOC is just
00:21:58.960 following her
00:22:00.080 progressive lights
00:22:01.240 to their logical conclusion
00:22:02.440 but it also shows us
00:22:03.880 this great conservative
00:22:04.840 consolation
00:22:05.520 which is that
00:22:06.120 eventually
00:22:07.520 despite all this
00:22:09.080 really kind of crazy
00:22:10.720 cockamamie theory
00:22:11.620 of history
00:22:12.220 and progress
00:22:13.160 and everything
00:22:14.660 is this exact science
00:22:16.260 and for some reason
00:22:16.960 the science always
00:22:17.700 gives the left
00:22:18.200 exactly what they want
00:22:19.220 and when the science
00:22:20.260 contradicts the left
00:22:21.100 then it's no longer
00:22:22.080 science right?
00:22:23.800 Reality still
00:22:24.940 reasserts itself
00:22:25.800 in the end.
00:22:26.460 You saw this
00:22:26.900 just recently
00:22:27.740 when a black man
00:22:30.880 got fed up
00:22:31.840 with Black Lives Matter
00:22:33.360 because Black Lives Matter
00:22:34.780 was seriously interfering
00:22:36.880 with his life.
00:22:37.740 We'll get to that
00:22:38.120 in one second.
00:22:39.180 First though
00:22:39.580 I've got to thank
00:22:40.020 our friends over
00:22:40.600 at AncestryDNA.
00:22:43.100 You know
00:22:43.640 there are many paths
00:22:45.260 to finding your family story.
00:22:47.040 Whichever one you choose
00:22:48.100 could be tracing
00:22:48.780 your family generations
00:22:49.780 back with a family tree
00:22:50.740 could be uncovering
00:22:51.520 your ethnicity
00:22:52.020 with AncestryDNA.
00:22:53.420 It's easy to get started
00:22:54.520 with Ancestry.
00:22:56.060 You know I'm a history buff.
00:22:57.620 You know that I like
00:22:58.520 looking back
00:22:59.280 and seeing
00:23:00.020 not just
00:23:00.940 how American history
00:23:02.020 impacts our lives today
00:23:03.620 but even how
00:23:04.260 our own family history
00:23:05.120 impacts us.
00:23:06.040 That's actually
00:23:06.520 a huge conversation
00:23:07.440 we're having now
00:23:08.140 in politics
00:23:09.040 is about our own
00:23:09.740 family histories.
00:23:10.740 I've used Ancestry
00:23:11.640 since before
00:23:12.180 the Daily Wire existed.
00:23:14.060 It's incredibly helpful
00:23:15.760 and frankly
00:23:16.700 I wouldn't say
00:23:17.220 you do one or the other
00:23:17.980 the family tree
00:23:18.560 or the DNA.
00:23:19.160 I did them both
00:23:20.080 and the one
00:23:21.140 helped the other.
00:23:21.960 Really, really
00:23:22.740 interesting stuff.
00:23:24.000 It's easy to start
00:23:24.720 making discoveries

00:23:33.640 I've had such fun
00:23:35.000 exploring these histories.
00:23:36.600 I've found ancestors
00:23:37.860 and before that
00:23:38.580 even my grandfather
00:23:39.200 was using these services.
00:23:41.020 Found Ancestry
00:23:41.780 that fought
00:23:42.300 with Washington
00:23:43.180 in the Revolutionary War.
00:23:44.640 Found people
00:23:45.100 at the Civil War.
00:23:46.320 Found people
00:23:46.700 on the Mayflower.
00:23:47.620 Just really cool stuff
00:23:48.400 you can find.

00:23:59.320 Reality reasserts itself
00:24:02.440 so you've got
00:24:02.980 the kind of crazy
00:24:03.880 pie-in-the-sky theories
00:24:05.240 of the left
00:24:06.120 and then you've got
00:24:06.920 the reality
00:24:07.520 of people on the ground
00:24:08.600 and often
00:24:09.900 the people
00:24:10.380 that the left
00:24:10.860 pretends to represent
00:24:11.820 are living here
00:24:12.980 in reality
00:24:13.580 and they don't like
00:24:14.440 the kind of crazy theories
00:24:15.820 that the left has.
00:24:17.260 This happened recently
00:24:18.520 in Austin, Texas.
00:24:20.180 There was a
00:24:20.900 Black Lives Matter
00:24:21.940 demonstration
00:24:22.520 and a black man
00:24:24.240 pulls up in his car
00:24:25.160 and he says
00:24:25.580 look,
00:24:26.080 I'm a black man
00:24:26.880 I know you think
00:24:27.400 you're talking
00:24:27.740 for Black Lives Matter
00:24:28.680 get the hell
00:24:30.040 out of my way
00:24:30.640 take a listen
00:24:31.400 Hey look
00:24:34.360 I understand
00:24:35.120 the calls
00:24:35.640 I appreciate it
00:24:36.560 but I gotta go to work
00:24:37.500 I'm black
00:24:38.080 I gotta go to work
00:24:39.180 I got bills
00:24:39.920 I got kids
00:24:40.920 get the f*** out of my way
00:24:42.260 I'm about to air this f*** out
00:24:43.760 bro
00:24:43.920 come on
00:24:44.260 come on bro
00:24:45.700 come on
00:24:46.500 I gotta go to work
00:24:48.020 so he didn't say
00:25:02.720 get the hell out of my way
00:25:03.660 he used more colorful language
00:25:04.960 I kind of cleaned it up
00:25:05.880 a little bit
00:25:06.340 I love this video
00:25:07.660 finally they did
00:25:08.420 get out of his way
00:25:09.180 because he was a pretty
00:25:10.080 intimidating fella
00:25:10.880 and I think it would make sense
00:25:11.780 to get out of his way
00:25:12.460 he's also driving
00:25:13.160 a pretty big truck
00:25:13.840 you can see here
00:25:16.640 perfectly captured
00:25:18.180 the difference between
00:25:19.180 progressive elites
00:25:20.320 and people who live
00:25:21.760 in reality
00:25:22.500 the progressive elites
00:25:24.740 who think they've discovered
00:25:25.920 the science of history
00:25:27.220 the science of politics
00:25:29.020 that only has one
00:25:30.160 correct answer
00:25:30.840 and if you disagree with it
00:25:31.620 you're wrong
00:25:32.120 they are trying to explain
00:25:34.440 to this guy
00:25:35.100 why it's good
00:25:36.540 that they're shutting down
00:25:37.360 all of society
00:25:38.120 and then this guy gets out
00:25:39.580 and he says
00:25:39.940 yeah
00:25:40.200 I don't care what you're doing
00:25:42.040 I know that you all think
00:25:43.280 you're talking for black people
00:25:44.360 and whatever
00:25:44.700 I have bills to pay
00:25:46.720 I have kids
00:25:48.900 I have actual needs
00:25:51.520 back here on planet earth
00:25:52.940 that I need to take care of
00:25:54.460 so I don't want to get
00:25:56.180 in a political argument
00:25:57.040 with you
00:25:57.600 but get out of my way
00:25:59.380 or I'm going to run you over
00:26:00.340 because I am not going to
00:26:01.720 let your stupid theories
00:26:03.060 get in the way
00:26:04.020 of my actual life here
00:26:05.600 and this is what the left
00:26:07.100 hates more than anything
00:26:09.020 they are befuddled by it
00:26:10.380 they are shocked by it
00:26:11.620 that sometimes
00:26:13.220 reality
00:26:14.140 fights back
00:26:16.000 sometimes
00:26:17.400 not in theory
00:26:18.240 not in the science of history
00:26:19.400 where they never lose an election
00:26:20.740 and they keep progressing
00:26:22.260 toward their utopia
00:26:23.020 but sometimes in reality
00:26:24.640 they do lose
00:26:26.100 and they can't handle that
00:26:27.560 so they refuse to accept it
00:26:28.660 sometimes in reality
00:26:29.800 Trump beats Hillary
00:26:30.720 sometimes in reality
00:26:32.080 Brexit beats the European Union
00:26:33.880 so what do they do
00:26:36.600 well when Brexit wins
00:26:37.740 they spend four years
00:26:39.160 trying to relitigate it
00:26:40.960 trying to pretend
00:26:41.720 there was no Brexit vote
00:26:42.840 trying to not honor
00:26:44.120 the Brexit vote
00:26:44.840 trying to have more votes
00:26:46.360 George Soros
00:26:47.140 I know you're not allowed
00:26:48.720 to say his name anymore
00:26:49.580 but he is the single
00:26:50.680 most influential
00:26:51.400 leftist donor
00:26:52.220 in the whole world
00:26:52.940 George Soros
00:26:53.820 openly donated
00:26:54.980 lots and lots of money
00:26:56.940 toward more Brexit referenda
00:26:59.480 so that
00:26:59.900 so that you would have
00:27:00.680 more and more votes
00:27:01.460 and hopefully overturn
00:27:02.280 the original one
00:27:03.020 what did they do
00:27:03.800 in the case of Trump
00:27:04.540 you had the Mueller investigation
00:27:06.340 then you had the taxes
00:27:08.320 then you had Stormy Daniels
00:27:09.760 then you had
00:27:10.140 he colluded with Russia
00:27:11.420 then he colluded with Ukraine
00:27:13.060 even though Ukraine's
00:27:13.720 at war with Russia
00:27:14.280 then he colluded with anybody
00:27:15.800 he's not the real president
00:27:17.100 put your fingers in your ears
00:27:18.620 la la la la la
00:27:19.700 I can't believe it actually happened
00:27:21.420 this is what President Trump means
00:27:23.980 when he talks about
00:27:24.520 a silent majority
00:27:25.540 maybe the silent majority
00:27:28.020 is not a majority
00:27:28.680 maybe it's
00:27:29.500 a slight minority of people
00:27:31.440 but
00:27:32.640 regardless
00:27:33.800 there is a huge number
00:27:35.580 of people
00:27:36.620 in this country
00:27:37.480 who refuse to go along
00:27:39.420 with the leftist
00:27:40.940 ideology
00:27:41.920 I'll give you another example
00:27:44.300 of this
00:27:44.680 a Democratic representative
00:27:47.520 and Lena Dunham
00:27:49.500 two different
00:27:50.700 I know that Lena Dunham
00:27:51.460 is kind of a representative
00:27:52.480 of Democrats
00:27:53.280 but I mean an actual
00:27:54.340 U.S. representative
00:27:55.160 and Lena Dunham
00:27:56.060 just came down with
00:27:57.460 coronavirus
00:27:57.980 we wish them all the best
00:27:59.720 we hope they recover
00:28:00.580 as do 99.7% of people
00:28:02.420 who get the virus
00:28:03.140 they are blaming
00:28:06.540 Republicans
00:28:07.420 because they got the virus
00:28:09.960 see according to the
00:28:11.800 science of history
00:28:12.520 according to the science
00:28:13.240 of progressivism
00:28:14.040 every good thing
00:28:16.240 is attributable to them
00:28:17.480 every bad thing
00:28:18.820 is attributable
00:28:19.480 to their opponents
00:28:20.500 including a virus
00:28:21.640 that came from China
00:28:22.540 including an actual
00:28:23.860 biological agent
00:28:25.200 that didn't have
00:28:26.840 any origins
00:28:27.360 in the United States
00:28:27.960 actually had origins
00:28:28.660 in China
00:28:29.040 certainly didn't have
00:28:29.640 any origins
00:28:30.100 in the Republican Party
00:28:31.760 we will get
00:28:33.460 into their blame game
00:28:34.620 we will get to
00:28:35.920 the next steps
00:28:36.840 that our progressive
00:28:38.200 administrative elite
00:28:39.240 want to undertake
00:28:40.740 regardless of our
00:28:41.860 actual political processes
00:28:43.100 we'll get to how
00:28:44.140 to fight back
00:28:44.680 but first
00:28:45.340 I have got to
00:28:46.900 thank you
00:28:47.520 I've got to thank you

00:30:36.040 democrat
00:30:36.620 has coronavirus
00:30:37.620 hope he
00:30:39.020 is feeling better
00:30:40.120 and i hope he
00:30:40.600 recovers quickly
00:30:41.300 i hope he stops
00:30:43.000 attacking republicans
00:30:44.100 and blaming them
00:30:44.720 for the virus
00:30:45.260 because he is
00:30:45.660 attacking quote
00:30:46.320 republican members
00:30:47.480 who routinely
00:30:48.220 strut around the
00:30:49.080 capitol
00:30:49.440 without a mask
00:30:50.140 to selfishly make
00:30:51.220 a political statement
00:30:51.980 at the expense
00:30:52.640 of their colleagues
00:30:54.200 lena dunham
00:30:55.300 in the cultural sphere
00:30:56.880 saying the same thing
00:30:57.760 she just recovered
00:30:59.280 from coronavirus
00:30:59.960 she's fine
00:31:01.400 you know it was
00:31:02.060 she didn't enjoy it
00:31:03.280 and now she's fine
00:31:04.300 she said quote
00:31:05.480 seeing the carelessness
00:31:06.800 with which so many
00:31:08.000 in the united states
00:31:08.880 are treating social distancing
00:31:10.220 people jogging
00:31:11.440 without masks
00:31:12.460 and parties on instagram
00:31:13.760 i feel compelled
00:31:14.560 to be honest
00:31:15.360 about the impact
00:31:16.040 this illness has had on me
00:31:17.240 which is
00:31:18.060 it hasn't had much
00:31:18.700 of an impact
00:31:19.060 she's fine
00:31:19.500 why are they blaming
00:31:22.740 republicans
00:31:23.380 first of all
00:31:24.720 we have mask orders
00:31:27.300 in place
00:31:27.780 we already have
00:31:29.900 the mask orders
00:31:30.520 they're already there
00:31:31.280 they're not working
00:31:32.400 that well
00:31:32.740 because the masks
00:31:33.340 don't work that well
00:31:34.100 because there is zero
00:31:35.400 zero scientific evidence
00:31:37.360 real science
00:31:38.240 not the political
00:31:38.900 science of progress
00:31:40.280 that the left engages in
00:31:41.440 there is zero
00:31:42.420 scientific evidence
00:31:43.240 that the masks
00:31:44.040 do much of anything at all
00:31:45.020 that's why all of the
00:31:45.680 public health experts
00:31:46.460 for the last 50 years
00:31:47.580 have discouraged them
00:31:48.440 except now that it's
00:31:49.400 politicized
00:31:50.060 they at certain points
00:31:52.200 have wanted us
00:31:52.720 to wear the masks
00:31:53.480 we went through this
00:31:54.880 on this show
00:31:55.500 14 recent clinical studies
00:31:57.740 that the masks
00:31:58.580 don't do very much
00:31:59.760 of anything
00:32:00.160 and nobody has presented
00:32:02.040 alternative studies
00:32:02.840 that the masks do
00:32:03.580 very much
00:32:04.060 but it is not possible
00:32:07.560 that there could be
00:32:08.680 a sort of problem
00:32:09.840 like the coronavirus
00:32:10.840 or the lockdowns
00:32:11.820 in the leftist utopia
00:32:13.620 on the way to progress
00:32:14.840 so something has gone wrong
00:32:16.300 that thing that's gone wrong
00:32:17.280 obviously has to be
00:32:18.480 republicans
00:32:19.620 or conservatives
00:32:20.280 they're upset that
00:32:22.040 that some people
00:32:22.780 aren't wearing the masks
00:32:23.720 if your political solution
00:32:25.600 cannot survive
00:32:27.720 human nature
00:32:28.920 which means that
00:32:30.140 there will always be people
00:32:31.360 who won't listen
00:32:31.920 to what you want
00:32:32.580 then your political solution
00:32:34.100 is not much of a solution
00:32:35.200 at all
00:32:35.600 if your political solution
00:32:37.180 is 100% of people
00:32:38.660 need to wear masks
00:32:39.380 100% of the time
00:32:40.480 or else
00:32:41.000 it's not going to work
00:32:42.080 then that's not a real solution
00:32:43.560 that's a utopian pipe dream
00:32:44.920 if your political solution
00:32:46.580 can't survive real people
00:32:48.240 then it's not
00:32:49.640 a political solution
00:32:50.800 politics meaning
00:32:51.640 how people all
00:32:52.680 get along together
00:32:53.540 you always hear the left say
00:32:56.520 when they defend socialism
00:32:58.020 they say
00:32:58.420 real socialism
00:32:59.640 has never been tried
00:33:00.760 when conservatives
00:33:02.120 point out
00:33:02.580 we say
00:33:02.960 your socialist
00:33:04.140 solutions
00:33:05.680 have always bred
00:33:06.840 human misery
00:33:07.560 wherever they've
00:33:08.340 existed
00:33:08.920 well they say
00:33:09.760 no no no
00:33:10.180 Soviet Union
00:33:11.040 and Cuba
00:33:11.960 and China
00:33:13.240 and Venezuela
00:33:14.320 and
00:33:15.540 those
00:33:16.520 those weren't
00:33:17.240 real socialism
00:33:18.180 true socialism
00:33:19.300 has never been tried
00:33:20.020 they're applying
00:33:20.680 the same thing
00:33:21.280 to social distancing
00:33:22.160 they're saying
00:33:23.140 true social distancing
00:33:24.460 has never been tried
00:33:25.820 we've had lockdowns
00:33:27.980 now for five months
00:33:29.260 or something
00:33:29.760 right
00:33:30.040 and it didn't work
00:33:32.360 it didn't work
00:33:33.620 we're in exactly
00:33:35.380 the same place
00:33:36.120 we're actually
00:33:36.620 a lot worse off
00:33:37.400 than we would have been
00:33:38.040 had we not
00:33:38.820 instituted the lockdowns
00:33:40.480 because our economy
00:33:41.080 has crashed
00:33:41.580 and people are
00:33:42.200 out of their minds
00:33:42.820 it didn't work
00:33:44.320 do you think
00:33:46.040 that deters the left
00:33:46.900 no
00:33:47.240 because it's not
00:33:48.980 that they just
00:33:49.400 proposed a political
00:33:50.520 solution to an
00:33:51.260 unprecedented problem
00:33:52.120 in America
00:33:52.600 they knew the science
00:33:54.780 of history
00:33:55.220 they knew the science
00:33:56.920 of politics
00:33:57.420 they talked to the man
00:33:58.400 in the lab coat
00:33:59.000 they have Dr. Fauci
00:34:00.160 for goodness sakes
00:34:00.880 Dr. Fauci can't be wrong
00:34:02.380 I mean he always is
00:34:03.540 he's wrong about everything
00:34:04.620 but he can't be
00:34:05.820 I know in reality
00:34:07.120 he's wrong about everything
00:34:07.920 but in theory
00:34:08.740 he's got to be right
00:34:09.840 about everything
00:34:10.400 so what that means
00:34:11.860 is we failed
00:34:13.140 and by we
00:34:13.720 I mean specifically
00:34:14.380 conservatives
00:34:14.880 and republicans
00:34:15.540 because I'm not
00:34:16.780 wearing a mask
00:34:17.200 right now
00:34:17.620 so therefore
00:34:19.340 I'm the reason
00:34:21.300 that this coronavirus
00:34:21.980 is spreading
00:34:22.620 never mind that
00:34:24.040 the democratic politicians
00:34:25.040 don't wear masks
00:34:25.680 a lot
00:34:25.940 never mind that Dr. Fauci
00:34:26.800 told us not to wear masks
00:34:27.700 that's beside the point
00:34:28.980 true social distancing
00:34:31.120 has never been tried
00:34:31.780 so they're going to
00:34:32.200 double down on their solutions
00:34:33.140 you're seeing this
00:34:33.860 right now
00:34:34.280 from the Minneapolis
00:34:35.120 Fed chairman
00:34:35.820 Neil Kashkari
00:34:36.700 so Neil Kashkari
00:34:38.020 a perfect
00:34:39.420 straight out of central casting
00:34:42.200 representative
00:34:42.860 of the liberal establishment
00:34:45.260 of the administrative state
00:34:47.640 of the kind of liberal
00:34:48.700 political establishment
00:34:49.540 this guy worked at Goldman
00:34:50.720 he worked at PIMCO
00:34:51.520 now he's the head
00:34:52.320 of the Minneapolis Fed
00:34:53.260 Neil Kashkari's solution
00:34:55.320 to our continuing
00:34:57.080 lockdown troubles
00:34:58.240 is for us to have
00:34:59.800 a hard lockdown
00:35:01.100 not this light lockdown
00:35:02.900 that we've been dealing with
00:35:03.760 but a hard lockdown
00:35:05.800 for four to six weeks
00:35:07.620 so like we can't move
00:35:09.300 we don't go anywhere
00:35:10.080 for four to six weeks
00:35:11.180 what have we been doing
00:35:15.540 for the last four months
00:35:18.020 was that
00:35:19.560 if the answer is a hard
00:35:22.320 why didn't we do that
00:35:23.340 three and a half months ago
00:35:25.720 why are we now
00:35:27.340 why did this just now
00:35:28.560 occur to people
00:35:29.040 because they can't
00:35:30.040 change their minds
00:35:30.880 right
00:35:31.680 this is the definition
00:35:33.200 of a fanatic
00:35:34.000 is one who can't
00:35:34.860 change his mind
00:35:35.460 and won't change the subject
00:35:36.660 well that's the left
00:35:37.680 because they feel
00:35:38.300 that they've got science
00:35:39.100 on their side
00:35:39.700 they've dismissed
00:35:40.880 everything we used to have
00:35:42.080 philosophy
00:35:42.840 traditional religion
00:35:44.360 Christianity
00:35:45.080 political debate
00:35:47.440 constitutionalism
00:35:48.680 they've dismissed
00:35:49.200 all of that
00:35:49.700 in favor of this
00:35:50.840 allegedly scientific
00:35:51.800 approach to politics
00:35:52.660 and it just
00:35:53.780 hasn't worked
00:35:54.620 I've said before
00:35:55.560 on this show
00:35:57.060 COVID is the campaign
00:35:59.320 and people have said
00:36:01.800 oh Michael
00:36:02.180 what are you talking
00:36:02.780 about
00:36:02.920 you're becoming
00:36:05.000 crazy about this
00:36:06.240 mask issue
00:36:07.100 or this lockdown issue
00:36:08.280 or the fact that
00:36:09.100 you can't go to church
00:36:09.920 or the fact that
00:36:10.680 we're not allowed
00:36:11.080 to go to work
00:36:11.600 or the fact that
00:36:12.360 we're not allowed
00:36:12.740 to travel anywhere
00:36:13.500 come on
00:36:14.140 it's not a big deal
00:36:14.900 this just happened
00:36:15.680 because there's a virus
00:36:16.640 and it's a perfectly
00:36:17.680 reasonable response
00:36:18.980 to this epidemic
00:36:20.320 we've had epidemics
00:36:23.160 before
00:36:23.520 we've had lots of epidemics
00:36:25.560 in our country's history
00:36:26.440 we've had lots of epidemics
00:36:28.080 that are much more
00:36:29.120 medically serious
00:36:30.020 than this one
00:36:30.600 we've never done
00:36:32.640 this before
00:36:33.160 we've never done
00:36:34.620 this lockdown
00:36:35.320 where all of life
00:36:36.320 stops and we shut
00:36:37.140 down schools
00:36:37.620 and we completely
00:36:38.560 shut down churches
00:36:39.360 for huge extended
00:36:40.600 periods
00:36:40.880 we've never had this
00:36:41.860 we've never crashed
00:36:43.220 the economy on purpose
00:36:44.280 in an election year
00:36:45.260 conveniently
00:36:45.720 we've never canceled
00:36:48.760 a presidential campaign
00:36:49.620 for this sort of reason
00:36:51.320 this is not just about
00:36:53.960 whether the masks
00:36:54.640 work or not
00:36:55.700 they don't
00:36:56.520 but it's not
00:36:57.060 it's not even about that
00:36:58.080 this is not about
00:37:00.100 whether the masks
00:37:00.800 are a political symbol
00:37:01.620 or not
00:37:01.980 they are
00:37:03.280 they obviously are
00:37:04.020 but it's not about that
00:37:04.940 it's about two ways
00:37:06.660 of looking at politics
00:37:07.960 the one way
00:37:09.200 the conservative way
00:37:09.920 where we debate
00:37:10.600 the eternal questions
00:37:11.540 and we decide
00:37:12.240 how we want to live
00:37:12.960 and the progressive way
00:37:14.360 where there are no debates
00:37:15.460 there are only
00:37:16.100 scientific answers
00:37:17.040 that the experts know
00:37:18.080 and we just need
00:37:18.960 to listen to them
00:37:19.620 this idea of
00:37:20.520 wear the damn mask
00:37:21.700 listen to Fauci
00:37:23.060 those are political slogans
00:37:25.780 that perfectly encapsulate
00:37:27.680 the progressive point of view
00:37:29.260 and if you're a conservative
00:37:30.540 who's going along with them
00:37:31.740 you're not really a conservative
00:37:33.200 because even if you like
00:37:34.440 low taxes or something
00:37:35.440 you are completely buying into
00:37:37.400 the base level
00:37:38.900 progressive view
00:37:40.220 of the world
00:37:41.200 progressivism
00:37:42.380 is a totalizing
00:37:44.000 political system
00:37:44.820 it brings together
00:37:46.360 all questions
00:37:47.580 all aspects of life
00:37:48.620 under one
00:37:49.700 system
00:37:50.940 no matter how disparate they are
00:37:52.360 all issues are the same issue
00:37:53.960 it's all the issue of progress
00:37:55.260 great example of this
00:37:56.500 Planned Parenthood of Arizona
00:37:57.480 just tweets out
00:37:58.120 quote
00:37:58.360 they were talking about
00:38:00.880 the protests
00:38:01.540 and the policing
00:38:02.380 and the defund the police
00:38:03.520 and Planned Parenthood says
00:38:04.880 we understand
00:38:05.900 that policing
00:38:07.120 and police justice
00:38:08.860 are reproductive
00:38:10.660 justice issues
00:38:12.300 what?
00:38:15.060 what?
00:38:15.660 first of all
00:38:16.000 reproductive justice
00:38:16.800 reminds me
00:38:17.480 of Julian Castro
00:38:18.980 who briefly ran for president
00:38:20.420 do you remember
00:38:21.160 and he kept trying
00:38:22.320 to outwoke everybody
00:38:23.500 so someone says
00:38:24.020 I support reproductive freedom
00:38:25.500 and he goes
00:38:25.820 I support reproductive justice
00:38:27.780 justice
00:38:28.980 and reproductive justice
00:38:30.540 for
00:38:31.060 trans
00:38:32.660 women
00:38:33.820 meaning men
00:38:35.060 you know
00:38:35.360 people who don't have uteruses
00:38:36.280 he was very confused
00:38:37.360 in many ways
00:38:37.840 but this is a new buzzword
00:38:39.600 reproductive justice
00:38:40.520 okay
00:38:40.880 what does that have to do
00:38:42.260 with
00:38:42.520 the police
00:38:43.560 nothing
00:38:45.280 nothing at all
00:38:47.860 here is actually
00:38:48.620 the one
00:38:48.940 the one similarity
00:38:49.940 is the left says
00:38:50.840 that the police
00:38:51.740 are the single
00:38:52.400 greatest threat
00:38:53.200 to black lives
00:38:54.440 in America
00:38:54.960 and that isn't true
00:38:56.080 Planned Parenthood
00:38:56.980 and the other abortionists
00:38:57.940 are the single
00:38:58.400 greatest threat
00:38:58.880 to black lives
00:38:59.420 in America
00:38:59.800 so actually
00:39:00.380 in a way
00:39:01.140 I guess there is
00:39:01.760 a relationship here
00:39:02.620 if black lives
00:39:03.440 really do matter
00:39:04.060 go after Planned Parenthood
00:39:04.980 don't go after
00:39:05.600 the police departments
00:39:06.800 but on its face
00:39:09.080 the cops
00:39:10.000 and killing babies
00:39:11.340 has nothing to do
00:39:12.880 with one another
00:39:14.240 except to the left
00:39:15.220 it must
00:39:15.660 because everything
00:39:16.760 has to be tied in
00:39:17.740 to that same system
00:39:18.880 our most important
00:39:21.480 political debates
00:39:22.120 are now happening
00:39:22.840 outside the realm
00:39:24.040 of debate
00:39:24.380 with Dr. Fauci
00:39:25.140 what does Dr. Fauci
00:39:25.900 have to do
00:39:26.180 with politics
00:39:26.720 he's a guy
00:39:28.340 who knows about
00:39:28.840 viruses
00:39:29.300 allegedly
00:39:29.960 what does he
00:39:31.040 have to do
00:39:31.380 with politics
00:39:31.980 why do we
00:39:32.420 look to him
00:39:32.900 why do we
00:39:33.820 look to all
00:39:34.160 of these agencies
00:39:34.800 and give away
00:39:36.840 our political power
00:39:37.740 to these administrators
00:39:38.820 on the subject
00:39:40.520 of police
00:39:41.060 by the way
00:39:41.420 how is this
00:39:41.920 progressive solution
00:39:42.780 going
00:39:43.140 not very well
00:39:44.620 the Minneapolis
00:39:45.380 Police Department
00:39:46.220 they have a new
00:39:47.700 slogan
00:39:48.100 you know
00:39:48.960 like a lot
00:39:49.560 of police departments
00:39:50.160 they have slogans
00:39:50.560 like protect
00:39:51.600 and serve
00:39:52.260 or back the blue
00:39:53.740 right they have
00:39:54.620 these kind of slogans
00:39:55.280 well the new
00:39:56.220 Minneapolis police
00:39:57.140 slogan is
00:39:57.700 do whatever
00:39:58.620 the criminals say
00:39:59.420 that's their new
00:40:00.500 de facto slogan
00:40:01.360 the left is winning
00:40:03.740 the left actually
00:40:04.500 is winning
00:40:04.840 on these issues
00:40:05.440 the Minneapolis PD
00:40:06.920 just recently told
00:40:07.740 residents of the
00:40:08.320 third precinct
00:40:08.900 as the riots
00:40:10.540 continue
00:40:11.000 do not walk alone
00:40:12.460 be hyper aware
00:40:13.960 of your surroundings
00:40:14.520 at all times
00:40:15.100 pay attention
00:40:15.600 yeah that makes sense
00:40:16.320 carry only items
00:40:17.400 you need
00:40:17.840 and carry less cash
00:40:19.000 okay what am I
00:40:19.880 do I live in
00:40:20.400 some third world
00:40:21.040 country
00:40:21.360 do I live in
00:40:21.800 Baghdad now
00:40:22.420 I have to
00:40:22.920 I'm not allowed
00:40:24.040 to carry cash
00:40:24.700 on the streets
00:40:25.120 of an American city
00:40:25.900 be prepared
00:40:27.940 to give up
00:40:28.480 your cell phone
00:40:29.180 and purse
00:40:29.800 or wallet
00:40:30.300 it's the police
00:40:32.160 department
00:40:32.480 telling citizens
00:40:33.140 give the criminals
00:40:34.500 give the muggers
00:40:35.600 your stuff
00:40:36.160 have keys already
00:40:37.880 in your hand
00:40:38.360 as you approach
00:40:38.800 your car
00:40:39.220 robberies
00:40:41.040 may still occur
00:40:41.840 do not argue
00:40:43.480 or fight
00:40:43.940 with the criminal
00:40:44.540 do as they say
00:40:46.220 your safety
00:40:46.780 is important
00:40:47.320 and I think
00:40:49.420 that's the end
00:40:50.080 of the progressive
00:40:51.620 project
00:40:52.220 is it's a
00:40:53.000 shakedown society
00:40:54.260 it's a society
00:40:55.940 where you do
00:40:56.740 what the criminals
00:40:57.220 say
00:40:57.560 conservatives
00:40:58.700 want a society
00:40:59.400 where we do
00:41:00.360 what the law
00:41:01.700 enforcement officers
00:41:02.440 say because
00:41:02.900 the law enforcement
00:41:03.460 officers are
00:41:03.960 enforcing the law
00:41:04.660 and the law
00:41:05.520 is enacted
00:41:06.420 by our representatives
00:41:07.520 for whom we vote
00:41:08.840 after our democratic
00:41:10.080 political debates
00:41:10.840 that's what
00:41:11.200 conservatives like
00:41:12.000 the left wants
00:41:13.900 the opposite
00:41:14.360 the left says
00:41:15.000 do what the criminals
00:41:15.780 say
00:41:16.020 do what the people
00:41:16.660 who steal power
00:41:17.420 despite your
00:41:18.700 democratic choice
00:41:19.500 say
00:41:20.300 progressive science
00:41:22.700 is a totalizing
00:41:23.720 religion
00:41:24.100 and by the way
00:41:24.540 it's a jealous
00:41:25.080 religion
00:41:25.500 there were
00:41:25.940 there was a video
00:41:26.460 went viral
00:41:27.100 over the weekend
00:41:27.820 some of these
00:41:28.800 leftist rioters
00:41:29.820 in Portland
00:41:30.460 holding up BLM
00:41:31.800 signs
00:41:32.200 decided to burn
00:41:34.220 a stack of
00:41:34.740 Bibles
00:41:35.060 they burned
00:41:38.240 a stack
00:41:38.960 of Bibles
00:41:39.660 they burned
00:41:41.620 American flags
00:41:42.360 too
00:41:42.620 why would
00:41:44.460 they burn
00:41:44.760 the Bible
00:41:45.140 if you
00:41:47.900 are still
00:41:48.960 viewing
00:41:49.540 the BLM
00:41:50.400 riots
00:41:50.940 and the
00:41:52.080 continued
00:41:52.720 lockdowns
00:41:53.940 and the
00:41:54.360 closing of
00:41:54.900 churches
00:41:55.380 but the
00:41:56.140 opening of
00:41:56.880 leftist
00:41:57.340 political rallies
00:41:58.180 and the
00:41:58.500 closing of
00:41:59.080 normal funerals
00:42:00.040 but the
00:42:00.580 opening of
00:42:01.500 only a couple
00:42:02.100 funerals
00:42:02.640 of leftist
00:42:03.520 idols
00:42:03.860 if you're
00:42:04.620 still viewing
00:42:05.200 that with
00:42:05.900 befuddlement
00:42:06.860 as though
00:42:07.600 gosh that's
00:42:08.160 a weird
00:42:08.420 quirk of
00:42:08.840 politics
00:42:09.300 I wonder
00:42:09.620 why that's
00:42:10.080 happening
00:42:10.400 you're not
00:42:12.460 understanding
00:42:13.060 the moment
00:42:13.500 if however
00:42:15.940 you realize
00:42:16.740 that all
00:42:17.120 these little
00:42:17.540 events are
00:42:18.100 completely
00:42:18.620 connected
00:42:19.140 and they
00:42:19.920 go down
00:42:20.400 not just
00:42:20.900 to the
00:42:21.200 political
00:42:21.640 level
00:42:22.060 but deeper
00:42:22.600 to the
00:42:22.900 cultural
00:42:23.180 level
00:42:23.440 and ultimately
00:42:23.960 to the
00:42:24.320 religious
00:42:24.640 level
00:42:25.020 then you'll
00:42:25.880 see what's
00:42:26.180 going on
00:42:26.620 there's a
00:42:27.100 great line
00:42:27.680 I quoted
00:42:28.060 on this
00:42:28.400 show
00:42:28.640 frequently
00:42:29.220 from
00:42:29.900 Henry Edward
00:42:30.480 Cardinal
00:42:30.880 Manning
00:42:31.220 the line
00:42:31.560 is
00:42:31.760 all human
00:42:33.120 conflict
00:42:33.660 is ultimately
00:42:34.940 theological
00:42:35.980 everybody's
00:42:37.780 got to serve
00:42:38.180 somebody
00:42:38.520 right
00:42:39.440 cult
00:42:39.840 and culture
00:42:40.560 come from
00:42:41.160 the same
00:42:41.440 root word
00:42:41.880 what a
00:42:42.160 culture
00:42:42.560 worships
00:42:43.360 will define
00:42:43.780 that culture
00:42:44.280 we are
00:42:44.920 ultimately
00:42:45.360 not arguing
00:42:46.100 over tax
00:42:47.160 rates
00:42:47.620 as tax
00:42:48.720 rates
00:42:48.980 or healthcare
00:42:49.740 policy
00:42:50.180 as healthcare
00:42:50.640 policy
00:42:51.020 we are
00:42:51.620 we are
00:42:52.080 arguing
00:42:52.420 over first
00:42:53.180 principles
00:42:53.900 ultimate
00:42:54.840 questions
00:42:55.380 over what
00:42:55.780 is the
00:42:56.000 nature
00:42:56.200 of man
00:42:56.540 what kind
00:42:56.900 of society
00:42:57.300 do we
00:42:57.620 want
00:42:57.900 I say
00:42:58.740 that on
00:42:59.000 the show
00:42:59.240 that's why
00:42:59.620 I'm not
00:42:59.860 totally
00:43:00.180 interested
00:43:00.540 in just
00:43:00.920 like owning
00:43:01.400 the libs
00:43:01.800 all the
00:43:02.200 time
00:43:02.380 I mean
00:43:02.560 it's super
00:43:02.880 fun and I
00:43:03.280 enjoy it
00:43:03.560 when I
00:43:03.740 can
00:43:03.900 but what
00:43:05.080 I want
00:43:05.460 in debate
00:43:05.920 actually
00:43:06.380 is to
00:43:07.060 get down
00:43:07.360 to the
00:43:07.580 root
00:43:07.740 question
00:43:08.160 because
00:43:08.400 we're
00:43:08.840 not
00:43:09.040 really
00:43:09.260 debating
00:43:09.620 the
00:43:09.780 things
00:43:09.960 we
00:43:10.100 pretend
00:43:10.420 to be
00:43:10.700 debating
00:43:11.020 we're
00:43:12.260 debating
00:43:12.640 fundamental
00:43:13.960 issues
00:43:14.440 of society
00:43:15.140 and what
00:43:16.280 the right
00:43:16.680 is saying
00:43:17.200 what conservatives
00:43:17.920 are saying
00:43:18.340 is we
00:43:18.920 want a
00:43:19.240 society
00:43:19.660 grounded
00:43:20.140 in our
00:43:20.720 traditional
00:43:21.480 religion
00:43:21.960 and in
00:43:22.600 our
00:43:22.860 traditional
00:43:24.060 society
00:43:24.600 and in
00:43:24.800 our
00:43:24.920 practices
00:43:25.380 and at
00:43:25.980 a political
00:43:26.360 level
00:43:26.680 in
00:43:26.900 constitutionalism
00:43:27.980 where
00:43:28.600 we can
00:43:29.240 debate
00:43:29.520 political
00:43:29.880 issues
00:43:30.200 and vote
00:43:30.540 for our
00:43:30.800 representatives
00:43:31.200 and have
00:43:31.740 power as
00:43:32.200 we the
00:43:32.460 people
00:43:32.740 that's
00:43:33.320 what the
00:43:33.560 conservatives
00:43:33.920 want
00:43:34.220 what the
00:43:35.340 progressives
00:43:35.780 are saying
00:43:36.180 is
00:43:36.500 Christianity
00:43:37.800 is all
00:43:38.280 bunk
00:43:38.640 it's
00:43:38.940 actually
00:43:39.200 frankly
00:43:39.840 it's
00:43:40.120 terrible
00:43:40.520 it's
00:43:40.800 not only
00:43:41.120 false
00:43:41.440 but it's
00:43:41.780 terrible
00:43:42.160 and
00:43:42.920 traditional
00:43:43.420 religion
00:43:43.840 if you
00:43:44.480 believe
00:43:44.660 in God
00:43:44.980 you're
00:43:45.120 a total
00:43:45.420 idiot
00:43:45.780 you've
00:43:46.600 got to
00:43:46.740 believe
00:43:46.880 in science
00:43:47.420 with a
00:43:47.680 capital
00:43:47.920 S
00:43:48.300 and a
00:43:48.760 trademark
00:43:49.040 over the
00:43:49.560 E
00:43:49.780 and you
00:43:50.020 got to
00:43:50.140 believe
00:43:50.280 in Darwin
00:43:50.760 our
00:43:50.980 wonderful
00:43:51.320 prophet
00:43:51.760 and all
00:43:53.080 that matters
00:43:53.560 is our
00:43:54.400 ideology
00:43:55.000 and if
00:43:55.960 you're still
00:43:56.300 a conservative
00:43:56.760 you're a
00:43:57.100 knuckle
00:43:57.320 dragger
00:43:57.820 and we
00:43:58.940 can't let
00:43:59.300 those stupid
00:43:59.840 people
00:44:00.180 have free
00:44:00.660 choice
00:44:01.080 we can't
00:44:01.620 let those
00:44:01.920 bitter
00:44:02.260 clingers
00:44:02.800 those
00:44:03.040 deplorables
00:44:03.720 those
00:44:03.960 irredeemable
00:44:04.660 Americans
00:44:05.080 have free
00:44:05.800 choice
00:44:06.120 we're the
00:44:06.440 experts
00:44:06.840 we know
00:44:07.360 better than
00:44:07.720 everybody
00:44:08.220 so we're
00:44:08.960 just going
00:44:09.260 to put
00:44:09.620 some white
00:44:10.060 lab coats
00:44:10.500 on some
00:44:10.840 people
00:44:11.100 and have
00:44:11.620 them make
00:44:11.960 all the
00:44:12.180 decisions
00:44:12.540 for us
00:44:13.000 and hopefully
00:44:13.540 those rubes
00:44:14.180 get with the
00:44:14.660 program
00:44:15.040 because it'll
00:44:15.500 be better
00:44:15.860 for everybody
00:44:16.460 and frankly
00:44:17.260 it's inevitable
00:44:17.820 because we're
00:44:18.340 on the right
00:44:18.700 side of history
00:44:19.320 and all these
00:44:20.480 other people
00:44:20.860 are going to
00:44:21.140 go to the
00:44:21.440 dustbin
00:44:21.820 of history
00:44:22.300 and they're
00:44:23.820 going to be
00:44:24.100 forgotten
00:44:24.460 and they're
00:44:24.840 going to
00:44:25.020 die out
00:44:25.500 and that'll
00:44:25.720 be a
00:44:25.940 wonderful
00:44:26.140 thing
00:44:26.480 those are
00:44:28.780 the two
00:44:29.020 ways of
00:44:29.340 looking at
00:44:29.700 politics
00:44:30.180 which side
00:44:32.200 are you
00:44:32.480 on
00:44:32.740 I think
00:44:34.360 I kind
00:44:35.480 of gave
00:44:36.280 it a loaded
00:44:36.840 description
00:44:37.380 there
00:44:37.600 I think
00:44:38.020 people of
00:44:38.900 goodwill
00:44:39.260 are going
00:44:39.500 to be on
00:44:39.880 that more
00:44:40.240 conservative
00:44:40.680 side
00:44:41.140 however
00:44:43.260 politics
00:44:46.280 plays out
00:44:47.000 in these
00:44:47.360 particular
00:44:47.780 moments
00:44:48.280 it plays
00:44:49.040 out in
00:44:49.580 particular
00:44:50.000 questions
00:44:50.500 of how
00:44:50.800 you respond
00:44:51.420 to an
00:44:53.020 unconstitutional
00:44:53.840 shutdown of
00:44:54.400 your church
00:44:54.780 which might
00:44:55.500 be happening
00:44:55.900 around the
00:44:56.240 country
00:44:56.500 it's how
00:44:57.660 it responds
00:44:58.980 to a
00:44:59.600 medically
00:44:59.940 ridiculous
00:45:00.660 but politically
00:45:01.660 symbolic
00:45:02.600 mask mandate
00:45:04.120 that you have
00:45:04.600 to wear masks
00:45:05.120 all the time
00:45:05.680 everywhere
00:45:06.100 regardless
00:45:06.620 of your
00:45:07.640 risk group
00:45:08.400 for the virus
00:45:08.980 it plays out
00:45:10.500 in how you
00:45:11.900 talk about
00:45:12.340 American history
00:45:12.940 what statues
00:45:13.740 you want to
00:45:14.120 turn down
00:45:14.500 if you want
00:45:16.160 to tear down
00:45:16.600 catholic saints
00:45:17.180 like AOC
00:45:17.740 AOC could
00:45:19.040 if AOC
00:45:20.180 were at that
00:45:20.660 bible book
00:45:21.180 burning
00:45:21.460 I wouldn't
00:45:23.020 be surprised
00:45:23.520 at all
00:45:23.780 I wouldn't
00:45:24.100 bat an eyelash
00:45:24.840 because that's
00:45:26.180 the logical
00:45:26.700 consequence
00:45:27.240 where she
00:45:27.620 wants to
00:45:27.900 tear down
00:45:28.160 statues
00:45:28.460 of saints
00:45:28.820 for goodness
00:45:29.160 sakes
00:45:29.780 Sean King
00:45:31.860 one of the
00:45:32.980 activists of
00:45:34.300 Black Lives Matter
00:45:35.060 he says we
00:45:35.940 got to smash
00:45:36.460 statues of
00:45:37.480 Jesus and
00:45:37.920 Mary if they
00:45:38.340 look white
00:45:38.740 Jesus and
00:45:40.080 Mary who
00:45:40.480 were Jews
00:45:40.900 they look
00:45:41.220 white
00:45:41.440 so you
00:45:42.060 got to
00:45:42.240 smash them
00:45:42.600 knock them
00:45:42.960 down
00:45:43.200 it expresses
00:45:46.060 itself on
00:45:46.600 these particular
00:45:47.180 questions
00:45:47.660 if you pay
00:45:48.480 lip service
00:45:49.020 to BLM
00:45:49.640 and you say
00:45:50.540 no look
00:45:50.920 it's just
00:45:51.160 because I
00:45:51.400 like black
00:45:51.780 people
00:45:52.040 yeah everyone
00:45:52.560 likes black
00:45:53.000 people
00:45:53.300 when you
00:45:54.160 support BLM
00:45:54.780 you're supporting
00:45:55.360 self-described
00:45:56.680 Marxists
00:45:57.520 self-described
00:45:58.340 Marxists who
00:45:58.940 have the exact
00:45:59.600 view of politics
00:46:00.440 that we've been
00:46:01.120 talking about
00:46:01.620 all day
00:46:02.200 they want to
00:46:03.460 tear down
00:46:04.240 everything you
00:46:05.600 cherish in this
00:46:06.520 country
00:46:06.860 fundamentally
00:46:07.860 transform the
00:46:08.680 American way
00:46:09.140 of life
00:46:09.540 which side
00:46:11.200 are you on
00:46:11.700 you know
00:46:13.060 the left
00:46:13.460 can't lose
00:46:14.300 according to
00:46:16.080 them
00:46:16.300 but sometimes
00:46:17.160 conservatives
00:46:18.500 deliver a
00:46:19.680 victory
00:46:20.020 sometimes
00:46:20.940 conservatives
00:46:21.840 come around
00:46:23.040 and upset
00:46:24.420 the left's
00:46:25.660 plans
00:46:26.060 they won't
00:46:27.240 acknowledge it
00:46:27.920 but are we
00:46:28.860 going to lie
00:46:29.260 down and
00:46:29.660 acquiesce to
00:46:30.240 the inevitable
00:46:30.680 progressive
00:46:31.200 march of
00:46:31.660 history
00:46:31.980 or are we
00:46:33.040 going to
00:46:33.240 fight back
00:46:33.880 mess it up
00:46:34.580 as Bill
00:46:34.880 Buckley
00:46:35.160 said
00:46:35.440 are we
00:46:36.500 going to
00:46:36.600 be conservatives
00:46:37.120 who stand
00:46:37.660 toward history
00:46:38.320 yelling stop
00:46:39.500 we still have
00:46:40.680 that political
00:46:41.160 will
00:46:41.520 I think
00:46:42.120 some of us
00:46:42.620 still have
00:46:43.300 political
00:46:43.940 reason
00:46:44.400 we can
00:46:45.020 realize the
00:46:45.740 difference
00:46:46.020 between
00:46:46.380 those delusions
00:46:47.380 and the
00:46:48.160 reality
00:46:48.620 are we
00:46:49.480 going to
00:46:49.680 stand up
00:46:50.140 or are we
00:46:50.340 going to
00:46:50.460 roll over
00:46:50.940 we'll see
