The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 600 - Rewriting Reality At The DNC

00:00:00.000 Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York, is writing a book about leadership during the COVID-19

00:00:06.800 pandemic.

00:00:07.940 Andrew Cuomo, whose policies are responsible for killing thousands of senior citizens,

00:00:11.740 writing a book on how to lead during the coronavirus, which I will read just after I finish Harvey

00:00:17.780 Weinstein's new book on relationships and Jeffrey Dahmer's book on nutrition.

00:00:22.360 Does not make a whole lot of sense.

00:00:24.140 American Crisis Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic is hailed by its publisher

00:00:30.340 as a remarkable portrait of leadership during crisis and a gritty story of gut-wrenching

00:00:36.220 choices that point the way to a safer future for us all. 0.88

00:00:39.520 Gut-wrenching choices like, hey, should we kill all of those elderly people or not kill 1.00

00:00:43.860 them? 0.99

00:00:44.840 And he, I don't know, I disagreed with the choice that Cuomo made, but apparently that's just

00:00:49.740 fine for the publishers.

00:00:50.740 Cuomo was one of the headliners of the Democratic National Convention last night.

00:00:56.460 Cuomo genuinely was one of the best that they've got.

00:00:59.160 That does not bode very well for the Democrats in November.

00:01:02.180 We will get into the best of the worst.

00:01:04.500 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:01:05.120 This is the Michael Knowles Show.

00:01:14.200 Welcome back to the show.

00:01:15.600 My favorite comment from yesterday from John Egan.

00:01:18.000 When AOC said, I have been thinking, well, we know that's a lie.

00:01:23.480 That's a good point.

00:01:24.700 I don't know.

00:01:25.540 Right off the top, you know, politicians are supposed to be able to persuade you.

00:01:29.320 But when AOC opens a statement with, I have been thinking, we just know that anything that's

00:01:34.460 going to follow is not true.

00:01:35.960 I also want to thank our friends over at Coastal.

00:02:58.920 C-O-A-S-T-A-L dot com. 1.00

00:03:02.220 Slash Michael.

00:03:03.060 Some restrictions may apply.

00:03:05.700 Andrew Cuomo.

00:03:07.740 Just staring reality in the face and then putting up that middle finger.

00:03:13.940 That's what Andrew Cuomo is doing by publishing this book on leadership.

00:03:17.500 And he did it throughout all of his speeches.

00:03:19.680 And it wasn't just him.

00:03:20.340 It was all of the Democrats.

00:03:21.300 The key theme to the Democratic National Convention has been trying to seem like they don't hate

00:03:26.940 America.

00:03:27.860 Right?

00:03:28.100 The Democrats have spent the last six months burning the American flag, burning America,

00:03:33.200 burning the country to the ground, toppling statues of George Washington, talking about

00:03:37.500 what a terrible country this is and always has been, publishing huge stories in the New

00:03:43.140 York Times about how America is racist and terrible.

00:03:44.940 We have to overthrow the founding.

00:03:45.840 Then you get to November and they say, oh gosh, maybe that's not, not a great way to win an

00:03:50.140 election by running against the American flag.

00:03:52.280 So the theme of the convention is we, the people, as if they gave two cares in the world

00:03:58.360 about the constitution and the, the theme has been patriotism.

00:04:02.580 So Andrew Cuomo gets up there and he talks about just how much he loves America.

00:04:08.960 Joe Biden is what I call America tough, tough in the best way, tough that is smart, united,

00:04:17.060 disciplined, and loving.

00:04:19.460 Joe Biden can restore the soul of America.

00:04:24.440 America.

00:04:25.180 It's America tough.

00:04:26.360 That's a good thing.

00:04:27.540 And this country, it's got a good soul.

00:04:28.980 Donald Trump, he's chased that soul away, but we got to restore the soul of America.

00:04:33.580 Restore the soul of America sounds in a way like make America great again, doesn't it?

00:04:40.420 That's saying the same thing.

00:04:41.640 America used to be great, used to have this wonderful quality.

00:04:44.580 Now it's not there anymore, but we're going to bring it back.

00:04:47.040 That's a very different tune than Andrew Cuomo was singing year, year and a half ago when

00:04:52.880 he said explicitly, accidentally what he actually thinks, which is that America is a great

00:04:58.980 We're not going to make America great again.

00:05:03.500 It was never that great.

00:05:08.140 We have not reached greatness.

00:05:12.020 America was never that great.

00:05:14.280 We have not reached greatness.

00:05:16.440 We all knew that the democratic elites felt this way, right?

00:05:21.300 Look at the 1619 project.

00:05:23.320 Look at the curricula in schools and colleges for the last decades.

00:05:26.920 Look at what they say when they're being honest on the campaign trail.

00:05:31.200 But even that crowd that was there for Andy Cuomo, they cheered when he said America was

00:05:37.460 never that great.

00:05:38.040 They cheered.

00:05:38.540 That's what they believe.

00:05:39.780 That's what the party believes.

00:05:41.140 And so the problem for the DNC right now is their base hates the country, but they need

00:05:47.120 to convince middle America, you know, all those people in the center, the moderates, the suburban

00:05:51.560 housewives that, that they don't hate America and it doesn't really work. 0.96

00:05:57.320 So Cuomo pretends to love the country that we can play the old clips though, right?

00:06:02.840 The Democrats cozied up to a radical woman. 1.00

00:06:05.860 Her name is Linda Sarsour.

00:06:07.300 She is an Islamist. 0.98

00:06:09.800 She is, uh, very opposed to, to much of what we cherish in this country.

00:06:16.680 They've embraced her.

00:06:17.860 Even the women's March wouldn't embrace her. 1.00

00:06:19.680 She's so radical, but the DNC did because they had to, because Linda Sarsour explained

00:06:25.380 the central tension of the DNC for the past couple of nights.

00:06:29.540 Namely, this party belongs to the far left.

00:06:32.420 The democratic party is not perfect, um, but it is absolutely our party in this moment.

00:06:39.300 It's absolutely our party in this moment.

00:06:41.680 Something tells me, first of all, what, who is, who is Linda Sarsour referring to as we?

00:06:46.540 She's not referring to Democrats because she's making a distinction between her and the Democrats.

00:06:50.160 She's not referring to Americans.

00:06:51.640 If you have ever heard anything this woman's ever said, you realize she doesn't identify 0.75

00:06:55.100 primarily as an American in the spirit of 76.

00:06:58.720 She's referring to the far left.

00:07:00.340 Frankly, I'm not even saying she's referring to Islamists or any of that.

00:07:06.240 I think Linda Sarsour is essentially a far leftist. 0.99

00:07:09.200 She once explained that she only put the hijab on because before she wore the hijab, she was

00:07:13.340 just another white woman in New York, which gets into a whole other discussion about identity 1.00

00:07:18.940 politics and how Arabs and Middle Easterners used to be considered white, but then tried

00:07:23.660 to create this separate identity group, all, all presuming that there's such a thing as

00:07:28.460 white privilege, which raises the question.

00:07:30.320 If there's such a thing as white privilege, why would you try to distinguish yourself from

00:07:33.920 the white category?

00:07:35.680 In any case, that's a discussion for another time.

00:07:37.820 I'm sure they'll be having it at the DNC all night tonight.

00:07:40.840 She's right.

00:07:42.200 The party belongs to the far left.

00:07:46.220 So does a lot of the country belong to the far left at this point.

00:07:49.460 Okay.

00:07:49.740 So the Democrats can't be that honest about it.

00:07:53.520 They've got to give these radicals a little bit of airtime here at the DNC because they 0.55

00:07:57.440 know their base likes that and they're now beholden to the far left.

00:08:00.560 So what do they do for the rest of America?

00:08:03.520 They just outright lie. 0.80

00:08:05.420 And we've got our liar in chief over here, right back to Andrew Cuomo. 0.79

00:08:10.520 The European virus infected the Northeast while the White House was still fixated on China. 0.89

00:08:16.220 America can still rise to the occasion.

00:08:18.520 We can put our differences aside and find commonality.

00:08:22.220 Government can tell the truth and can build trust.

00:08:25.700 We can judge by content of character rather than color of skin.

00:08:29.100 We can care for one another, that Americans can work together and forge community and a

00:08:35.860 competent government.

00:08:37.380 That of course we will wear masks because we are smart and because I care about you and

00:08:42.920 because you care about me.

00:08:44.200 Of course we will socially distance because staying away shows how close we actually are.

00:08:52.180 Yes, we will set up testing and tracing and do whatever we need to do to mobilize to win

00:08:56.720 this battle because we are America.

00:08:58.560 We win wars.

00:08:59.620 And we are the greatest country on the globe.

00:09:03.380 And for all the pain and all the tears, our way worked.

00:09:08.360 And it was beautiful.

00:09:09.700 So until we get to that bit at the end, you know, America is the greatest country and all

00:09:14.840 that.

00:09:15.380 Until we get to that, that kind of boilerplate patriotism that Cuomo has been injecting all

00:09:20.200 over the place.

00:09:21.520 Everything he said before that is untrue.

00:09:26.440 Every single thing.

00:09:27.400 He opens up calling it the European virus.

00:09:32.180 Talk about, you know, the left always hits the right for conspiracy theories, the Q people 1.00

00:09:36.940 or whatever.

00:09:37.520 The Democratic Party broadcast in prime time that the virus that we know with 100% certainty

00:09:47.020 came from Wuhan, China actually came from Europe.

00:09:49.960 Now, why is he saying that?

00:09:53.500 Well, because what he's saying is that it's racist.

00:09:57.280 The Democrats have all been saying this, that it's racist to refer to the virus as the China

00:10:01.060 virus.

00:10:01.460 You shouldn't refer to it with a geographic location, but you can refer to it as European.

00:10:07.600 Well, why is that?

00:10:08.260 Because you can't be racist against white people is one thing that they would say.

00:10:12.080 But then when it comes to affirmative action, they count Asians as white people.

00:10:15.580 So it's very, very confusing.

00:10:17.020 When you go down the road of identity politics, you don't know where you're going to end up

00:10:20.620 and it's certainly not going to make a lot of sense.

00:10:22.360 But this is Orwellian.

00:10:23.420 I mean, just that line.

00:10:24.720 We're going to stay apart so that we can show how close we are.

00:10:29.280 Being apart makes you very close.

00:10:31.820 We're going to wear masks because we're smart and smart people.

00:10:34.760 They always have to wear masks.

00:10:36.220 Yeah, yeah.

00:10:37.180 That's because of all that scientific evidence, you know?

00:10:39.360 Yeah, that's what we're going to do.

00:10:42.020 I'm Andrew Cuomo, great leader during coronavirus.

00:10:45.340 I don't think so.

00:10:46.000 None of it is true.

00:10:48.000 The worst part of it, the worst part, sort of the saddest part of his whole oration is

00:10:54.180 that he said, we, you know, we believe in the content of your character.

00:10:58.640 They don't.

00:10:59.600 They obviously don't.

00:11:00.520 He's hearkening back to Martin Luther King who says that, you know, one day he hopes that

00:11:04.420 his black children can play with white kids and they'll, they'll be judged not by the

00:11:08.140 color of their skin, but by the content of their character. 0.99

00:11:10.040 Right after he gets in this ridiculous jab about the China virus and the European virus. 0.97

00:11:16.180 So that makes it ridiculous. 0.93

00:11:18.000 But even consider it on a broader level.

00:11:20.160 John Marini has made this point before.

00:11:21.920 The phrase judge on the content of one's character doesn't have any meaning in a culture that

00:11:30.520 doesn't have objective standards.

00:11:32.800 In a culture that doesn't acknowledge objective virtue or the metaphysical soul or a moral

00:11:39.920 standard or standards of behavior that we all have to follow in that, in this kind of

00:11:44.440 culture that we have, the democratic culture of do, do what you want to do.

00:11:48.380 And if it feels good, do it.

00:11:49.620 And a man can be a woman and nothing is objective and nothing is true. 0.99

00:11:52.800 And we have to deconstruct everything and, and, uh, overturn statues in that, in that culture 0.53

00:11:59.280 where everything's up for grabs, you can't judge someone on the content of one's character

00:12:04.060 because that presumes a common understanding of virtue that does not exist, that we do not

00:12:10.400 have, and we don't have it because the Democrats destroyed it.

00:12:14.440 They kept using the whole infomercial.

00:12:16.780 That's how I'm referring to the DNC.

00:12:17.880 It's just a very long infomercial.

00:12:19.040 The whole infomercial was just one, one hack lesson in cheap political rhetoric.

00:12:27.960 We'll get into one specific trick that they use that the minute you hear it, you're never

00:12:32.520 going to be able to listen to this again.

00:12:33.940 The minute you hear it, you'll, you can't unhear it.

00:12:36.360 We'll get to that one second.

00:12:37.280 First though, got to thank our friends over at ring.

00:12:39.520 You know, it can be very difficult to keep an eye on who is outside your house all day.

00:12:44.440 Whether you are home or not, maybe you're in your bedroom.

00:12:47.640 Maybe you're at the office.

00:12:48.700 Maybe you're on a beach somewhere.

00:13:16.500 I really trust these guys.

00:13:18.280 I've mentioned this before.

00:13:19.400 This is, this is my trick to my friends is I give them ring home security kits as a housewarming gift

00:13:24.760 because it's very helpful.

00:13:26.240 I care about my friends.

00:13:27.040 I want them to be safe because it makes you feel like you're cool in the future.

00:13:30.500 But most importantly, from my perspective, it's not that expensive.

00:13:33.720 So you seem like a very cool guy, even though you haven't had to spend a lot of money.

00:13:36.880 Get a special offer on the Ring Welcome Kit when you go to ring.com slash Knowles.

00:13:43.440 All you need to start building custom security for your home today, go to ring.com slash Knowles.

00:13:47.780 That is ring.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. 0.65

00:13:52.940 There's this, there's this trick.

00:13:54.540 You hear it, I'm sure the Republicans do it too, but the Democrats do it so much less convincingly.

00:14:00.980 When politicians speak, they, they use a construction which is this, not that.

00:14:05.900 So let's say like, you know, I like pancakes, not omelets.

00:14:10.480 I like, uh, sunshine, not rain.

00:14:14.280 I like chocolate, not vanilla.

00:14:16.640 And the thing about it is when, when a hack politician is using this kind of construction,

00:14:21.260 you always know the thing they say they're not doing is the thing they are doing.

00:14:24.960 So just, I'll give you an example.

00:14:26.600 Just take a listen.

00:14:27.220 Here's DNC chairman, Tom Perez.

00:14:29.100 And then of course, our liar in chief, Andrew Cuomo with this precise construction.

00:14:33.460 We will work to meet our extraordinary challenges because progress is made by the hopeful, not 0.98

00:14:40.160 the cynical.

00:14:41.200 And we will do that work together because movements are built by the many, not the few.

00:14:46.500 A leader who appeals to the best within us, not the worst.

00:14:50.740 A leader who can unify, not divide.

00:14:54.200 A leader who can bring us up, not tear us down.

00:14:57.040 And of course, in all of these cases, the thing they're saying they're not doing and

00:15:02.940 the things they say they are not are the things that they are and the things that they're doing.

00:15:07.040 The, the, the future, you know, the political movement belongs to the hopeful, not the cynical.

00:15:12.360 It's like, has there ever been a more cynical person than Tom Perez?

00:15:15.020 This is built by the many, not the few.

00:15:18.120 The DNC is one of the most famously oligarchic organizations in America.

00:15:22.800 We need a leader who will bring us together, not divide us.

00:15:27.640 Name me a more divisive politician than Andrew Cuomo.

00:15:30.380 He just said America was never that great.

00:15:32.820 Come on, come on, folks.

00:15:35.740 We need someone who's going to lift us up, not bring us down. 1.00

00:15:38.920 Andrew Cuomo has got thousands and thousands of senior citizens dead because of his stupid 1.00

00:15:42.460 policies. 1.00

00:15:43.200 So this is what they do.

00:15:44.660 They're just lying to you.

00:15:45.820 It's all a big lie.

00:15:46.760 And I want to get into in a moment why they think they can lie to you, but just consider

00:15:54.220 how far these lies go.

00:15:57.460 The Democratic National Convention believed that it was a good idea to send a member,

00:16:05.200 a representative to the Native American caucus, the Native American working group.

00:16:09.880 Do you know which prominent Democrat they sent to the Native American caucus?

00:16:15.320 I, you know, I know that, you know, you know, that I know that, you know, take a listen.

00:16:22.780 Hello to the DNC Native American caucus.

00:16:25.280 It is such an honor to join you all today.

00:16:28.980 Liawatha herself.

00:16:30.380 There she is.

00:16:31.320 Focahontas, chief spreading bull.

00:16:33.720 Well, she, this woman who had to drop out of the presidential race, who was crippled going 0.89

00:16:40.200 into the presidential race in a way that she never recovered from because she lied about

00:16:43.980 being Native American to get better jobs, to advance in her career. 0.69

00:16:47.800 She lied for decades. 0.83

00:16:49.120 And then it turned out she's the whitest woman that's ever walked the earth. 1.00

00:16:51.540 They sent her as if none of that happened.

00:16:55.600 You remember at the time she took a DNA test.

00:16:57.600 She said, I might be one 1,024th Native American.

00:17:02.320 She published this.

00:17:03.360 She sent this to the Boston Globe as though that exonerated her.

00:17:06.520 That's how divorced from reality they are.

00:17:08.800 That's how much they think they can hoodwink you.

00:17:11.160 And they're doing it again.

00:17:12.940 Doesn't matter.

00:17:14.480 Now, part of the reason they sent Liz Warren in the Democrats' defense is, 0.97

00:17:18.180 who else are they going to get?

00:17:18.980 Name me a prominent Native American Democratic politician at the national level.

00:17:24.520 Can you name me one?

00:17:25.460 No, of course not.

00:17:27.600 And frankly, the whole Democratic left-wing argument on Native Americans is they're a

00:17:32.380 separate country.

00:17:33.120 It's their land.

00:17:33.800 They shouldn't participate in colonial American politics. 0.80

00:17:37.020 So they're setting themselves up from the beginning, not damn any prominent Native American

00:17:40.620 politicians.

00:17:42.740 Also, when you divvy up the electorate and you make your entire base, your whole coalition,

00:17:47.880 just about ever more narrow identity victim groups, well, then you have egg on your face

00:17:53.800 when you don't have a representative for that victim group.

00:17:56.860 I mean, you know, the victim groups divide and divide and divide.

00:17:59.680 There's no end to that.

00:18:00.820 So eventually they're going to run out of people to represent them.

00:18:03.320 They seem already to have done that.

00:18:04.860 That's why they had to send Liz Warren. 1.00

00:18:06.460 And then maybe, I don't know, maybe the most egregious lie, the most patently absurd one

00:18:14.000 came from a little bit of a blast from the past.

00:18:19.040 Bill Clinton, the first president that I remember, you know, going back to some of our childhoods,

00:18:24.580 came out to lecture President Trump.

00:18:28.040 Bill Clinton, who just had photos released yesterday of him receiving a neck massage 0.97

00:18:33.520 from one of Jeffrey Epstein's sex slaves.

00:18:36.260 Bill Clinton has a bit of a colorful history when it comes to his personal behavior.

00:18:42.600 Went out and lectured Donald Trump about how to comport himself in the Oval Office.

00:18:49.380 At a time like this, the Oval Office should be a command center.

00:18:53.520 Instead, it's a storm center.

00:18:55.920 There's only chaos.

00:18:57.840 Just one thing never changes.

00:18:59.960 His determination to deny responsibility and shift the blame.

00:19:04.480 The buck never stops there.

00:19:07.360 And let me tell you something.

00:19:09.720 If somebody knows about bucking in the Oval Office, it's me.

00:19:13.300 Okay, I know a thing or two.

00:19:15.500 I never wanted to stop bucking in the Oval.

00:19:17.380 All right, that's enough.

00:19:18.000 That's enough of that.

00:19:19.880 We all know that Bill Clinton got up to no good in the Oval Office.

00:19:22.780 This was kind of the news story of the 1990s.

00:19:26.420 When I think of coming into watching the news, you know, for the first time following politics,

00:19:32.800 Bill Clinton's personal behavior in the Oval Office would probably be at the top of the list.

00:19:39.380 But he can do it, just like he did it in the 90s.

00:19:41.060 Remember, he came on TV in the 90s.

00:19:42.680 I did not have sexual relations with that woman. 0.99

00:19:46.380 And then like five minutes later, he has to go back on TV, stare at the same TV camera.

00:19:51.800 He goes, all right, I might have had some sexual relations with that woman. 1.00

00:19:55.100 I'm sorry. 0.96

00:19:55.760 Whoops.

00:19:56.440 Believe me now, though.

00:19:57.300 Believe me, I feel your pain.

00:19:59.040 That's what he always did. 1.00

00:20:00.140 The Clintons, probably the most famous shameless liars in the country. 0.99

00:20:05.020 And they defined the Democratic Party for decades. 0.99

00:20:10.480 But is it still their party?

00:20:12.580 They've kept the lying.

00:20:13.880 They've kept the dishonesty.

00:20:14.940 They've kept the shamelessness.

00:20:17.260 But why did they put Bill Clinton up there?

00:20:20.460 What were they thinking?

00:20:22.700 Does Bill Clinton really define the Democratic Party anymore?

00:20:25.800 Probably not.

00:20:26.500 They may have wanted to have a voice of relative moderation.

00:20:29.160 It's unbelievable when you think of Bill Clinton's personal behavior that he is a voice of moderation.

00:20:33.660 But he is in today's Democratic Party, which has shifted so far to the left.

00:20:37.440 It is certainly no longer the party of Bill Clinton.

00:20:40.480 The DNC probably hasn't caught up with that.

00:20:42.560 And they're trying to cobble together this coalition of people who all share a similar kind of ideology.

00:20:47.860 But they're in such disparate groups.

00:20:50.240 The Democratic strategy being division.

00:20:52.380 They do have a hard time holding their coalition together.

00:20:55.360 The Democrats feel they can lie because no one holds them to account.

00:21:02.520 That's why.

00:21:03.420 I'm not just talking party to party.

00:21:04.820 Sure, the Republican Party is going to call them out.

00:21:07.920 Shows such as this one are going to call out the lies and point out what they're saying that just isn't true.

00:21:13.680 But more broadly in the culture, they're not going to get called out by Hollywood.

00:21:17.500 Hollywood rewrites their stories for them.

00:21:18.960 Speaking of Bill Clinton, you ever see the movie The American President by Aaron Sorkin? 0.66

00:21:22.280 It takes the story of Bill Clinton, a degenerate adulterer who doesn't believe a damn thing, who blows in the wind and all he wants is vanity and power.

00:21:32.340 Bill Clinton turns him into the most wonderful man, caring, unfairly targeted by the right, rewrites aspects of his bio.

00:21:41.940 He doesn't cheat on anybody.

00:21:43.100 He's a widower.

00:21:43.640 There are all these kind of things to make him seem sympathetic.

00:21:48.600 Obviously, the press are behind him, lower education, higher education, big tech, everybody.

00:21:53.260 Big tech seemed like they were suppressing that photo of Bill Clinton yesterday until it got so ridiculous they had to let it come up on social media.

00:21:58.980 They lie because there is no institution in this country that holds them to account with any success.

00:22:11.820 The one chance we have is occasionally Republicans win elections.

00:22:16.060 Very rarely that matters so that they can do things in there.

00:22:20.300 And sometimes a conservative commentator will get a word out before the censors come in.

00:22:25.740 But that's it.

00:22:27.440 And so they're going to lie to you and they're going to gaslight you.

00:22:30.560 I mentioned earlier that the phrase content of your character doesn't have any meaning in this culture.

00:22:38.360 Part of that is because we don't have an objective standard of virtue.

00:22:40.620 Part of that is we don't have an objective standard of communication.

00:22:44.680 We're not speaking the same language.

00:22:46.760 When you communicate with somebody, that presumes that there is objective truth outside of the two of you.

00:22:52.300 And that you are using words and letters and symbols to refer to that objective truth.

00:22:57.460 So even though you might have different perspectives, you're still at least talking about the same thing so you can have a conversation.

00:23:03.300 The Democrats aren't doing that.

00:23:05.580 At a philosophical level, they don't believe in that.

00:23:08.060 They don't believe in objective truth.

00:23:09.760 They believe in your truth and my truth.

00:23:11.800 They believe in forcing your vision of America through tyranny of the will.

00:23:17.960 They believe in intersectionality, where the only reality is my lived experience and my oppression.

00:23:24.500 That's why you always hear them say, you can't talk about that.

00:23:27.240 That's my experience.

00:23:28.160 You can't erase my lived experience.

00:23:30.460 You can't describe the black experience in America if you're white.

00:23:34.820 Now, for some reason, we, the Democrats, can explain everyone's experience.

00:23:38.160 But in that framework, there's no conversation to be had.

00:23:42.600 There's no good faith debate to be had.

00:23:44.420 This is a brutal battle of interests.

00:23:46.420 We talked yesterday about ways the left is trying to steal the election.

00:23:49.460 That's what it's going to come down to.

00:23:51.220 This is much less a fine debate in your garden or a gentlemanly election than it is a bare-knuckle brawl.

00:24:00.700 That's what the Democrats were signaling yesterday at the DNC.

00:24:04.160 But it goes beyond the political arrangement.

00:24:06.280 It goes into corporate America.

00:24:07.220 We'll get to that in one second.

00:24:08.080 First, though, I've got to thank our friends over at Pure Talk.

00:24:10.820 You know, people think that their cell phone bill just has to cost what it costs.

00:24:15.140 They're always going to have to pay a lot of money.

00:24:17.460 That's not true.

00:24:18.820 There are easy savings that you can find.

00:24:21.680 Who is your wireless provider?

00:24:23.460 Is it ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile?

00:24:25.440 What if I told you Pure Talk USA uses the exact same network as one of those carriers?

00:24:30.360 Same towers, same exact coverage.

00:24:33.020 But it costs you half.

00:24:35.720 I know that you think what I'm saying is it's a similar network.

00:24:39.260 It's similar.

00:24:40.300 It's the exact same one.

00:24:42.480 But it costs you half.

00:24:43.600 Switching is very easy.

00:24:44.720 You can keep your phone.

00:24:45.660 They'll send you a new SIM card so you can get the same great service you currently have,

00:24:49.120 but at half the price.

00:24:50.520 Listen to this.

00:24:50.980 Unlimited talk, text, and two gigs of data for just $20 a month.

00:24:54.440 That is insane.

00:24:55.700 The average person is saving $400 a year.

00:24:58.200 Customer service, by the way, is right here in the U.S.

00:25:00.220 And their CEO is a U.S. veteran who understands what it means to serve this country.

00:25:04.640 Head on over.

00:25:05.200 These guys are the real deal.

00:25:06.240 Unlimited talk, unlimited text, two gigs of data for just $20 a month.

00:25:09.720 All you need to do is grab your mobile phone, dial pound 250, say keyword Michael Knowles.

00:25:13.940 That's pound 250.

00:25:15.480 Say keyword Michael Knowles.

00:25:16.980 And when you do, you will have 50% off your first month.

00:25:21.240 Beyond the political realm, beyond the DNC, which I can't believe I've got to watch for

00:25:27.800 another night tonight, what I do for you people.

00:25:29.800 What I do, the sacrifices I make.

00:25:31.980 Look into corporate America.

00:25:33.940 This leaked yesterday.

00:25:35.000 It was a slide from a Goodyear Tires employee presentation.

00:25:38.900 It described their zero tolerance policy.

00:25:42.740 Their zero tolerance policy on expression.

00:25:45.340 Things you can say, things you can wear.

00:25:47.260 Here is what the slide lists as acceptable expression.

00:25:53.140 Black Lives Matter or lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender pride.

00:25:59.360 Those are the two things listed under acceptable.

00:26:02.100 Here's what's listed as unacceptable.

00:26:05.060 Blue Lives Matter.

00:26:07.220 All Lives Matter.

00:26:09.540 MAGA attire or politically affiliated slogans or material.

00:26:13.940 So, far left-wing activism, good, acceptable.

00:26:22.220 Anything even remotely patriotic or conservative, unacceptable.

00:26:29.120 That's corporate America.

00:26:31.440 I mean, just these blue, you can't say that you support cops.

00:26:34.460 You can't say you support law and order.

00:26:35.820 That's no longer allowed because of Goodyear.

00:26:37.760 You can't say you support all lives.

00:26:40.080 It has to be only black lives. 1.00

00:26:41.700 Not all lives, black lives. 1.00

00:26:42.880 White lives are bad. 1.00

00:26:44.840 Hispanic lives are bad. 1.00

00:26:46.460 Asian lives are very, very bad. 1.00

00:26:48.240 No one cares about that. 0.99

00:26:48.980 They don't matter. 0.59

00:26:49.840 Only, only black lives, according to Goodyear. 0.97

00:26:53.260 MAGA, you can't support the president.

00:26:54.740 You can't even support the expression, make America great again.

00:26:56.940 You got to make America worse.

00:26:58.280 Or you got to say America was never that great.

00:26:59.720 Just like Andy Cuomo said when he was being slightly more honest.

00:27:03.460 And nothing political, unless it's left-wing.

00:27:07.460 I think conservatives are finally waking up to something that they did not understand for decades.

00:27:12.440 For decades, conservatives in the Republican Party carried water for corporate America.

00:27:18.400 They shilled for giant transnational corporations with no loyalty to their own country, no sense of honor or virtue.

00:27:26.720 They bought into this BS kind of silly Ayn Rand argument from the 1980s that all that matters is money and we've got to worship money and any sense of solidarity as our country, any sense of respect for our founding ideals and our founding fathers and for the common good is somehow un-American.

00:27:48.960 Go back and read the writings of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, go back and George Washington, go James Madison, I mean we can list all the founders, go read Abraham Lincoln.

00:28:02.080 Do you know what they refer to all the time?

00:28:04.120 The common good, virtue, loyalty, patriotism, solidarity with our fellow citizens.

00:28:14.420 When you go back and read the founding fathers, it doesn't read like an Ayn Rand novel.

00:28:17.660 It doesn't read like some bad Russian novelist, okay?

00:28:22.560 We've got to come back to a sense of what this country is.

00:28:25.900 That doesn't mean we have to throw out capitalism.

00:28:28.060 That doesn't mean we have to hate businesses all of a sudden.

00:28:30.080 But it does mean that we've got to get our priorities in order.

00:28:33.760 We are Americans.

00:28:35.400 We have to love our country.

00:28:36.680 We have to, we have a right, we the people, to assert ourselves in politics.

00:28:41.080 And if you're not going to do that and you're a corporation, I don't want anything to do with you, okay?

00:28:47.600 Goodyear, by the way, has not confirmed that this was them.

00:28:49.980 They haven't denied it either.

00:28:51.580 Seems to me like if this weren't their slide, they would have denied it right away.

00:28:55.840 On this point, I think there are some people, there have been some kind of more libertarian Republicans

00:29:01.540 who are afraid that the moment we start talking about patriotism or the common good or national borders

00:29:06.360 or anything like that, that we're going to throw capitalism out the window.

00:29:09.340 But actually, the opposite is true.

00:29:12.500 The thing that is most imperiled, capitalism, private property, is our lack of patriotism,

00:29:20.140 our lack of a sense of the common good, our lack of going back to our founding fathers.

00:29:24.180 That is imperiling it.

00:29:25.880 The Democrats are telling that to you, not just in private conversations.

00:29:30.480 DNC panelists are explaining to the Youth Council of the Democratic National Committee

00:29:35.540 that they want to throw away capitalism.

00:29:39.620 Ditching capitalism, ditching private property goes hand in hand with ditching a sense of our common good

00:29:44.540 and our common tradition and our common political founding.

00:29:48.820 We'll get to that in one second.

00:29:50.160 Then I got to tell you the greatest news of all.

00:29:52.980 Now, oh my gosh, what great political news.

00:29:55.980 We'll get to that in one second.

00:29:56.680 First, though, got to thank you all for subscribing to the Michael Knowles Show YouTube channel.

00:30:00.600 We just crossed 180,000 subscribers.

00:30:03.420 We will have some great content coming out this weekend.

00:30:06.400 Not going to tell you what yet, but it should be fun.

00:30:08.740 We have a backstage this Friday.

00:30:10.340 We're going to be talking about the DNC.

00:30:13.400 Obviously, that's all we're going to be talking about this week.

00:30:15.260 They're giving us a whole lot to work with here.

00:30:17.120 Also, you got to get all access.

00:30:18.640 All access members get to join All Access Live.

00:30:20.740 Tomorrow night, August 20th, we'll be doing a very special live stream watch party

00:30:25.360 covering the Democratic National Convention's biggest speakers.

00:30:28.540 Daily Wire's own Matt Walsh will be hosting it.

00:30:30.200 The stream starts at 845 Eastern, 545 Pacific.

00:30:33.220 Do not miss this great opportunity.

00:30:42.620 Dailywire.com slash Knowles.

00:30:44.200 Coupon code Access.

00:30:44.960 Get 20% off your membership.

00:30:46.540 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:30:47.520 The Democrats want to destroy capitalism.

00:31:03.360 Democrats used to mock Republicans for saying things like that as hysterical or some crazy fever dream.

00:31:09.040 No, now they're just saying it outright.

00:31:10.580 At this Youth Council of the Democratic National Committee, which is all being live streamed now,

00:31:16.760 Ashley McRae insisted that, quote,

00:31:19.780 the future we all want, that we're trying to build, involves the destruction of capitalism and a lot of other things.

00:31:25.720 We understand that this future that we all want, that we're all trying to build, really is about the destruction of colonization, white supremacy, and capitalism.

00:31:38.220 We must really move away from these systems and these frameworks if we really want to live in a future that does have a regenerative economy and does enable liberation and equity for our communities.

00:31:53.120 And this is definitely something that we all want to push forward.

00:31:56.460 And so our hope and our dream is that we do push forward Green New Deal. 0.89

00:32:02.920 Blah, blah, blah.

00:32:03.960 And then they list all the other nonsense they want. 0.58

00:32:06.700 What does that mean?

00:32:08.120 Well, first of all, it shows us that the Green New Deal really is about destroying capitalism, right? 0.98

00:32:12.220 Because she just admitted that there.

00:32:14.160 Again, AOC denied this when we pointed it out when she first proposed the Green New Deal.

00:32:20.820 Capitalism is the key here.

00:32:21.920 It's the key into understanding what they mean.

00:32:23.900 Because she says, we want to get rid of colonization and white supremacy and capitalism.

00:32:30.220 Now, I think some people who aren't paying very close attention, they say, well, okay, I don't particularly care for colonization.

00:32:35.960 Yeah, I certainly don't like white supremacy.

00:32:38.140 So, yeah, let's get rid of those. 0.65

00:32:40.560 Capitalism?

00:32:41.320 Well, see, the capitalism is the key here.

00:32:44.100 There is no American colonization.

00:32:46.720 We are not colonizing places.

00:32:49.020 Where are our colonies?

00:32:50.380 The last colony we have is Puerto Rico.

00:32:52.640 We didn't even want that.

00:32:53.320 We still don't want that.

00:32:54.560 I'd be happy to give that back to Spain so that Democrats don't make it a state and steal the Senate.

00:33:00.100 There's no American colonization.

00:33:01.640 What they mean by colonization is America itself.

00:33:04.800 They refer to this as occupied land all the time.

00:33:08.080 They say America stole the land, which isn't true.

00:33:10.260 They say that America has no right to be on this land.

00:33:13.640 Also not true.

00:33:14.860 And we need to give the land back.

00:33:17.160 To who?

00:33:17.520 I don't know.

00:33:17.860 Give it back to the Comanche? 1.00

00:33:18.820 Are the Comanche going to give it back to the Apache that they stole it from? 1.00

00:33:21.120 I don't know.

00:33:21.940 I don't know.

00:33:24.220 That's their line.

00:33:24.980 When they say we're anti-colonization, what they mean is they're anti the American nation state.

00:33:31.980 You hear Democrats sometimes say, make America Mexico again, talking about the land that used to be Spanish that we then took.

00:33:41.000 The land that maybe they used to be French that we then bought.

00:33:43.240 Who knows?

00:33:45.220 They're referring to the borders of our country, American sovereignty.

00:33:49.160 When they say we don't want colonization, what they mean is we want open borders and no American right to rule.

00:33:55.120 And to totally overturn the idea that we the people have the right to rule ourselves in this country.

00:33:58.640 What about white supremacy?

00:33:59.640 What do they mean by white supremacy?

00:34:01.060 Well, according to the left, everything is white supremacist.

00:34:04.680 According to the left, you've just seen this come out from major left-wing institutions.

00:34:09.240 The idea that now Western art is white supremacist.

00:34:13.520 The idea that Western literature is white supremacist. 0.88

00:34:16.380 Shakespeare is white supremacist.

00:34:17.620 You've got to decolonize the English departments, according to campaigns at major American universities.

00:34:23.320 There's that word again, colonization.

00:34:26.640 According to the left in recent days, critical thinking is white supremacist.

00:34:30.720 Grammar is white supremacist.

00:34:32.160 They've been releasing flyers about this sort of thing.

00:34:36.560 What they're referring to is our civilization, which is not exclusively white, right?

00:34:41.460 Western civilization is the only civilization in the world that hasn't defined itself primarily racially.

00:34:45.960 I don't think that Eastern civilizations are particularly multicultural, but the West has embraced multiculturalism in its kind of desiccated modern form for many decades now.

00:34:57.980 And in a truer form from the very beginning, because there is neither Jew nor Greek nor bond nor free, but all are one in Christ Jesus.

00:35:06.560 They want to get rid of that.

00:35:10.120 That's what they're talking about.

00:35:10.880 To them, that's what they mean by white supremacy.

00:35:12.900 Sean King, a BLM activist, said it the other day. 0.98

00:35:15.220 Said, yeah, we've got to smash statues of Jesus because it's white supremacy. 0.99

00:35:19.280 So that's what they're talking about here. 0.99

00:35:21.280 They want to destroy the American nation state. 0.66

00:35:23.540 They want to destroy Christian, Christendom, Western civilization. 0.97

00:35:26.480 Call it what you want.

00:35:27.960 And they want to destroy capitalism.

00:35:30.580 By capitalism, they mean private property rights.

00:35:33.540 That's always what they're referring to.

00:35:35.520 What is capitalism?

00:35:36.740 Capitalism, the word is frankly a sort of Marxist creation.

00:35:39.920 But what it's referring to in this broad sense they're using it as is private property.

00:35:44.160 They want to take your property away.

00:35:47.760 Now, that's not a great pitch to the American people, is it?

00:35:50.480 Probably not.

00:35:51.960 You see this reflected in some of the poll numbers.

00:35:54.140 Most incredibly, Joe Biden's poll numbers are going down, even during a convention.

00:35:57.920 The whole point of the convention is so your poll numbers go up.

00:36:00.960 So that's not good.

00:36:02.900 But I've got a secret poll number, a secret data point that I haven't mentioned before on this show.

00:36:09.600 But I got it from my publisher.

00:36:11.200 You know that a few years ago, three years ago now, I did this blank book called Reasons to Vote for Democrats, a Comprehensive Guide.

00:36:17.940 This was initially blurbed by our own Ben Shapiro, who referred to it as Thoreau.

00:36:21.800 It was then blurbed by the President of the United States, who referred to it as a great book for your reading enjoyment.

00:36:28.960 I spent my whole life researching this book.

00:36:31.180 It's got an extensive bibliography, and then it's got completely blank pages.

00:36:34.340 That's the thesis of the book.

00:36:36.300 I sold a lot of copies when this thing came out.

00:36:38.580 A lot, a lot of copies.

00:36:40.000 And then, you know, it kind of tapers off.

00:36:41.600 I still sell a lot of copies of that book because the Democrats keep doing crazy things.

00:36:45.060 So I usually sell about 100, 200 copies a week.

00:36:47.720 Do you know how many copies of this book sold last week?

00:36:52.280 Over 3,100 copies, which is a high number even for a brand new book that's selling well.

00:36:59.440 Two weeks before that, over 2,200, over 2,300.

00:37:04.940 The book is selling.

00:37:06.000 We're not really promoting this thing.

00:37:07.780 We're not running ads, really, or anything like that.

00:37:09.700 Do you know who's selling this book for me?

00:37:12.960 Andrew Cuomo and AOC and Elizabeth Warren and Tom Perez and the Democratic National Convention.

00:37:20.200 That's what's selling this book.

00:37:21.740 And the Joe Biden campaign.

00:37:23.280 That's what's selling this book.

00:37:26.320 Because you can order the book secretly, right?

00:37:29.140 You just order it on Amazon.

00:37:30.180 It comes.

00:37:30.560 Maybe you give it to a friend or something like that.

00:37:32.600 I'm very skeptical of the polls going into this election.

00:37:36.020 Because if you got a phone call right now from some stranger and said, 0.95

00:37:39.760 Hey, are you a white supremacist, bigot, Nazi, who's voting for orange Hitler and mango Mussolini? 0.97

00:37:50.040 Are you going to tell them yes or no? 0.99

00:37:52.140 Some people are going to say, yeah, sure.

00:37:53.680 Yeah, I am.

00:37:54.320 I don't care.

00:37:54.860 Any of the nonsense you're saying doesn't bother me.

00:37:57.260 I'm voting for Trump.

00:37:58.880 A lot of people are going to be cowed.

00:38:00.200 They're going to be quiet about it.

00:38:01.180 If at Goodyear, you are at risk of losing your job if you wear anything even vaguely supportive of the president

00:38:07.620 or say anything even vaguely supportive of the president, you're probably going to keep your mouth shut, right?

00:38:13.840 But what about the only poll that counts in November?

00:38:17.460 I think, I mean, I use the book kind of as a funny example of this.

00:38:20.500 But I think there are hidden data points here that show you where the country is really, really moving.

00:38:26.200 I don't think the Democrats are helping themselves at all during this DNC.

00:38:31.340 And so in order to reach across the aisle, in order to try to grab some of those moderates, some of those suburban housewives, 1.00

00:38:37.860 they had a handful of squishy Republicans, some of whom, most of whom no one even remembers.

00:38:45.240 And they came out to endorse at the DNC.

00:38:49.160 Because you've got to ask yourself, has Trump lost any votes?

00:38:52.380 Trump won in 2016.

00:38:53.840 No one thought he was going to win.

00:38:54.780 And a lot of people were skeptical of him then.

00:38:57.280 He's done a great job since then.

00:38:58.740 He's assuaged a lot of fears.

00:38:59.860 The never, never Trump movement has completely collapsed.

00:39:02.920 So who'd he lose?

00:39:06.120 What people are saying is it's the suburban housewives. 0.96

00:39:09.520 So you want to appeal to these more middle of the road Republicans.

00:39:14.320 Did the Democrats succeed at that?

00:39:15.820 Let's take a listen.

00:39:16.840 First up, Meg Whitman, former CEO of HP, who ran unsuccessfully for some political offices.

00:39:23.160 A woman that basically nobody remembers at this point.

00:39:28.120 Here is Meg Whitman's message to the convention.

00:39:31.440 I'm Meg Whitman.

00:39:32.620 I'm a longtime Republican and a longtime CEO.

00:39:35.960 And let me tell you, Donald Trump has no clue how to run a business, let alone an economy.

00:39:40.620 Okay, if Donald Trump has no clue how to run a business or an economy, how come we've all heard of him, we all know him, he's the most powerful man in the world, and very few people remember you?

00:39:53.060 If he, last time I checked, the Trump organization is doing better these days, is much more prominent in the public imagination than Hewlett Packard.

00:40:01.940 That you, the company you used to run.

00:40:06.020 And I think she runs another one.

00:40:07.340 I don't even know the name of this company that she currently runs.

00:40:09.680 She's a lifelong Republican.

00:40:11.060 What are her positions? 0.77

00:40:12.020 I just did a quick little Google search.

00:40:13.760 She's a lifelong staunch Republican who's in favor of open borders, who's against marriage, and who's pro-abortion.

00:40:22.100 That's it.

00:40:22.680 They got us.

00:40:23.500 Wow.

00:40:24.320 Principled conservatism.

00:40:26.040 Oh my God.

00:40:26.580 Donald Trump. 1.00

00:40:27.160 He's a fake conservative.

00:40:28.780 Not like the real conservatives, like open borders, anti-marriage, pro-abortion Meg Whitman, right?

00:40:34.160 How about the next one?

00:40:34.900 Another Whitman, coincidentally.

00:40:36.360 Christine Todd Whitman, former governor of New Jersey a thousand years ago.

00:40:40.560 Here's Christine Todd Whitman's invective against President Trump.

00:40:46.160 I'm Governor Christine Todd Whitman.

00:40:48.180 What am I doing here?

00:40:49.360 I'm a lifelong Republican.

00:40:51.100 My parents were introduced at a Republican National Convention by their parents.

00:40:54.880 That's how far back it goes.

00:40:56.040 But this isn't about a Republican or Democrat.

00:40:59.380 It's about a person.

00:41:01.120 A person decent enough, stable enough, strong enough to get our economy back on track.

00:41:06.880 A person who could work with everyone, Democrats and Republicans, to get things done.

00:41:11.900 Donald Trump isn't that person.

00:41:13.840 Joe Biden is.

00:41:15.280 Joe Biden is.

00:41:16.220 Principled conservative.

00:41:17.120 I've been a Republican so long, my grandparents were Republicans.

00:41:20.000 And they introduced my parents who are Republicans.

00:41:23.660 And okay, let's take a look at her record.

00:41:25.180 Oh yeah, against marriage, pro-abortion, and pro-partial birth abortion. 0.99

00:41:31.180 This monster, this, this woman supports a policy that would allow you to partially give birth and then kill the infant. 1.00

00:41:43.080 But in 1999, Whitman, when she was, when she was governor, vetoed a bill that outlawed partial birth abortion. 0.92

00:41:50.800 That's that rock-ripped conservative.

00:41:52.240 So if you're a Republican who's going to vote for Joe Biden, you're siding with those principled conservatives like the ones who support partial birth abortion.

00:41:59.120 And then, then my favorite.

00:42:01.000 Then, the best.

00:42:03.280 We had been waiting.

00:42:04.060 We knew this moment was going to come.

00:42:06.900 John Kasich.

00:42:08.520 John Kasich, whose father was a mailman, if, in case you had forgotten.

00:42:11.120 John Kasich comes out.

00:42:13.320 He was a somewhat prominent 2016 contender for president on the Republican side.

00:42:18.320 He endorses Joe Biden.

00:42:20.620 Because America is at a crossroads.

00:42:23.400 Take a listen.

00:42:24.960 America is at a crossroads.

00:42:26.860 Sometimes elections represent a real choice.

00:42:29.340 A choice we make as individuals and as a nation.

00:42:32.400 About which path we want to take when we've come to challenging times.

00:42:36.820 America is at that crossroads today.

00:42:40.000 He's standing at a crossroads.

00:42:42.100 This is so lame. 0.66

00:42:47.740 This is somehow even lamer than John Kasich.

00:42:50.360 If you just took John Kasich by himself, that would be very lame.

00:42:53.880 But John Kasich referring to crossroads while standing at a crossroad.

00:42:58.660 That is like the lamest thing I've ever seen.

00:43:00.940 I was waiting for him to say, America's come to a fork in the road.

00:43:04.420 And then he lifts up a dining fork.

00:43:06.640 Or he just got there and he just started turning himself around.

00:43:10.600 Like spinning around.

00:43:11.420 And it's, America's at a turning point.

00:43:14.440 You know, it's not, not very convincing.

00:43:16.560 And what is he talking about? 0.95

00:43:18.020 You know, I'm not going to subject you to listening to the rest of his ridiculous oration. 0.82

00:43:23.020 But none of these people ever get to issues. 0.91

00:43:27.380 All it boils down to is Donald Trump was mean to me.

00:43:31.020 And Joe Biden was nice to me.

00:43:33.180 And it's all about me, me, me.

00:43:35.320 And it's all about personal behavior.

00:43:37.020 And it's all about the tweets.

00:43:38.180 Because for these people, even Kasich, Kasich is the worst one.

00:43:42.480 Because Kasich actually had a pretty good record in his early political career.

00:43:46.100 But somewhere along the way, he got to a, he got to a fork in the road and he took, he took the wrong path.

00:43:51.540 You know what happens at crossroads, by the way?

00:43:53.040 I don't know if any of you are blues music aficionados.

00:43:55.600 Because bad things happen at crossroads.

00:43:58.640 You know, people meet, people tend to meet the devil at crossroads, okay?

00:44:01.920 And that would, that would seem to be what's happening here.

00:44:05.080 Because for these people, I mean, maybe John Kasich used to be about something real.

00:44:08.280 It certainly hasn't been in quite a long time.

00:44:11.080 Politics is not about changing anything.

00:44:14.180 Politics is not about supporting our cherished institutions.

00:44:18.060 Politics is not about rolling back this awful tide of leftism.

00:44:21.300 It's not about pushing back against this anti-constitutional administrative bureaucracy that's taking our political power away from we the people.

00:44:30.960 It's just about going along to get along.

00:44:34.700 It's just about being the governor, being the congressman, being the president.

00:44:39.800 It's not about doing anything.

00:44:42.060 There are some people who have the audacity to refer to themselves as principled conservatives.

00:44:45.940 Who are siding with these hacks because they say Trump's not a real conservative.

00:44:50.740 Trump is the most conservative politician of my lifetime.

00:44:55.660 Not in any traditional, you know, not, not in any, you know, past 30, 40 years since.

00:45:00.720 Not in his comportment even in many ways.

00:45:04.020 But in what he's doing in his political vision.

00:45:07.420 Much more conservative than any of these hacks.

00:45:11.380 Very sad to see a case that go like this.

00:45:13.120 I don't think they're going to convince anybody though.

00:45:14.840 I don't think they're going to get, get anybody to actually go over because Christine Todd Whitman told them to.

00:45:22.820 So all they've got now are these lies.

00:45:24.900 They, they drag these people in front and say, I'm a lifelong rock-ribbed Republican.

00:45:28.960 Not true.

00:45:29.720 They'll have Andrew Cuomo come out there and say, we love America.

00:45:32.220 We support America.

00:45:33.020 We did a great job during the COVID crisis.

00:45:34.720 They're going to push these lies on you just like they've been pushing a lot of lies, especially for the last five months.

00:45:41.300 The only question of this election is going to be, do we let them get away with it?

00:45:46.040 I don't think this election is going to be about persuading people or convincing anybody, which is what elections should be about.

00:45:51.880 I think this is going to be a bare knuckle brawl over tactics.

00:45:54.500 One, can they hoodwink you because they own the, the mainstream media, because they own the, the apparatuses and the institutions.

00:46:02.840 And then are they going to be able to steal it at the mailbox, which is, which is the big political operation that's currently underway.

00:46:10.220 Are you going to let them do it or not?

00:46:11.580 I hope that the RNC goes out, does a live convention or at least a partially live convention.

00:46:17.260 It might be too late for that, but they should. 0.79

00:46:18.500 But this infomercial DNC thing is such trash, it's so pathetic, that if we went out there, showed a little life, I think that could rev up the base. 0.93

00:46:26.020 But then on the operational front, you've got to make sure that you don't let what, what Drew Klavan would call the empire of lies. 0.98

00:46:32.120 You don't let this, this desiccated, dishonest edifice that gaslights you at every turn get power again.

00:46:38.560 Because if they're shameless now, when they're sort of out of power, imagine what it'll be if they take power back again in November.

00:46:46.100 That's our show.
