00:00:00.000 President Trump is beating Joe Biden for the first time in a major poll that's coming out
00:00:05.760 from Rasmussen. Rasmussen does weekly surveys, found out that President Trump is now getting
00:00:12.900 47% of the respondents' support compared to Joe Biden at just 46%. And President Trump's
00:00:19.860 approval rating among respondents has surged to the highest level this year. Additionally,
00:00:26.000 on top of that, according to the Washington Examiner, that approval rating is at 52%.
00:00:32.240 Why is it? Because you can only ignore the president's competence for so long.
00:00:35.780 You can only ignore the Democrats' incompetence for so long. This is making headway not just among
00:00:41.200 more voters than Biden's voters, not just among a slim majority of Americans. This is making inroads,
00:00:47.660 most notably among groups that the Democrats have taken for granted. I'm Michael Knowles.
00:00:52.700 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:00:56.000 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment from yesterday is from Frosted Ice Pharaoh.
00:01:07.900 It says, yesterday, Trump was questioned about not being presidential. If he was presidential,
00:01:13.280 he would not be making Middle East peace deals. That's true. If you really want to be presidential,
00:01:17.800 then you've got to just start a whole bunch of wars in the Middle East. Why? I don't know. We can 0.99
00:01:22.380 probably tell you why. But this is a big divide. And actually, it's on this issue of Middle East peace
00:01:26.940 that the competence of Trump and the incompetence of the Democrats is really clear because there have
00:01:33.860 been a lot of promises made by top Democratic establishment politicians, and Trump just proved
00:01:39.520 them all wrong. We'll get to that in one second. First, got to thank our friends over at Ring,
00:01:43.240 speaking of security, speaking of how to stay safe. I love Ring, especially when I'm traveling all
00:01:51.620 around because it gives me peace of mind. It makes me, one, feel like I'm living in the future because
00:01:56.100 I can check in on my home anywhere, whether I'm in the office, whether I'm on a beach somewhere,
00:02:01.240 whether I'm on an airplane. You can check in on your home. It makes you feel safe. It makes you feel
00:02:06.420 secure in your home. And most importantly, when I give this out as a housewarming gift to friends,
00:02:11.080 it's inexpensive. So I seem like I'm giving a very expensive gift, even though you don't have
00:02:15.660 to shell out a ton of money. You can do it all with this one simple app with Ring. You can keep
00:02:19.880 an eye on your home no matter where you are. You can get a special offer on the Ring Welcome Kit
00:02:25.560 right now at ring.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S. Go do it. In the olden times, there used to be 0.98
00:02:33.360 neighborhood watch. There used to be these super duper expensive, intricate security systems.
00:02:38.840 Now we have Ring. This is wonderful. Sometimes technology really works for us.
00:02:43.060 Comes with Ring's Video Doorbell 3 and Chime Pro, the perfect way to start your Ring experience.

00:02:52.020 Feel safe and secure. Ring.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S.
00:02:57.960 Not just that President Trump is making inroads, you know, among the small majority of the electorate
00:03:03.660 or, you know, more voters than Biden. He's doing well with groups that the Democrats have
00:03:08.840 typically relied on. Groups, identity groups that Democrats usually take for granted. Most notably
00:03:15.220 in recent days, among gay guys. Yes, that's right. The homosexual population of the, of the electorate 0.55
00:03:23.460 tends to be taken for granted by the Democrats. And yet, according to polling from a queer dating app, 0.88
00:03:29.840 right now it looks as though 45% of queer American men, now don't cancel me for saying that. That's 0.98
00:03:37.820 their word. I don't know what word I'm supposed to use. They change the words every day. But 45%
00:03:42.540 of queer American men are backing President Donald Trump. And this is considered a very queer fact 0.57
00:03:48.480 because Democrats always believe that they're supposed to get 100% of the gay guys. The app is
00:03:54.380 called Hornet. And, uh, uh, 45% of them are going to vote. Uh, this is a, of the 1200 queer American 0.99
00:04:01.120 male respondents say they're going to vote for Trump. Uh, how did they get to this? 10,000 men
00:04:07.640 were surveyed by the app. 12% identified as U S citizens. 51% said they'd be vote of those men said
00:04:13.320 they'd be voting for Biden and 45% for Trump. So it's very, very close, even among gay men. And by the
00:04:19.600 way, these are just the gay men who are on these apps, presumably the more bourgeois stayed, you know, 0.71
00:04:25.320 calm gay men who are not on these apps. Presumably they're even more conservative than all that.
00:04:30.740 So why, why is it? Why is President Trump gaining momentum? He's gaining momentum because Joe Biden
00:04:38.440 is wrong about everything and his views are unpopular. Simple as that, right? Because he's
00:04:43.660 gotten things wrong with one or two exceptions for 50 years, a huge political career and his views
00:04:51.960 that even if they were at one time popular are no longer popular. One example of this,
00:04:57.180 just one simple example, but it's a central one right now is China. China has not only destroyed 0.92
00:05:02.840 the global economy because of the pandemic that they lied about, but China also has helped to destroy 1.00
00:05:07.840 the American economy by stealing our jobs. And they did, they, you can't even say that they stole the jobs
00:05:12.940 because a lot of American politicians in both parties decided to outsource them. This was
00:05:17.260 considered to be a wonderful thing because GDP might tick up a little bit and who cares if whole
00:05:21.240 towns of people are going to die of opioid overdoses and suicides, that's not a big deal because at least
00:05:26.560 we can get slightly cheaper consumer goods. The view that was held by the democratic party and by,
00:05:32.760 I guess what you would call establishment Republicans, the total unfettered free trader Republicans
00:05:38.260 was this is a good thing. A rising China is good for everybody. Yeah, they might poison the whole 1.00
00:05:44.620 world with a plague and shut down the entire economy, but you know, generally speaking,
00:05:48.100 it's a good thing. And this was the view explicitly held by Joe Biden.
00:05:52.140 There was a debate here in the United States and quite frankly, throughout most of the West is whether
00:05:56.060 a rising China was in the interest of the United States and the wider world.
00:06:01.060 As a young member of the foreign relations committee, I wrote and I said, and I believe
00:06:06.060 then what I believe now, that a rising China is a positive, positive development, not only for China,
00:06:13.960 but for America and the world writ large. Unambiguous. I know that clip wasn't so long ago,
00:06:20.760 but I know it's a little jarring to hear Joe Biden speak clearly. So odd how his childhood stutter
00:06:26.600 that we've heard so much about in this election campaign obviously wasn't there in the clip because
00:06:31.220 even just a few years ago, Joe Biden was much more with it than he is today. He was with it.
00:06:36.540 He was just wrong about everything, notably about China, but we can clearly see what his views were.
00:06:42.280 He's wrong about other very popular issues. Charter schools, charter schools, school choice,
00:06:47.600 give students, particularly underprivileged students, particularly racial minority students,
00:06:53.800 particularly students in the inner cities. Basically charter schools, give them their only chance
00:06:59.280 to get a better life, to break out of cycles of poverty and misfortune. And Joe Biden and the
00:07:07.040 democratic establishment opposes it. And why does Joe Biden oppose school choice? I sat down yesterday
00:07:12.580 with education secretary, Betsy DeVos and Senator Cruz for our show verdict. We talked a lot about this
00:07:18.200 issue that will be coming out very soon, but the long and long and short of it is Democrats oppose
00:07:24.120 school choice because they're bought off by the teachers unions and the teachers unions don't want
00:07:28.780 that because it threatens their job. Even if they're very poor teachers, even if those students are failing,
00:07:34.140 even if the schools are completely underperforming, the teachers unions still want to get theirs.
00:07:38.760 So they've made this unholy alliance with the democratic party. Joe Biden puts it in no uncertain terms.
00:07:43.180 He does not want poor kids. He does not want kids in bad school districts to be able to get a good
00:07:48.680 education. I will not, there will not be no federal dollars. I'm not Betsy DeVos, nor will my,
00:07:55.320 my sector of education be anything like her in terms of her attitudes about public schools. 0.90
00:08:01.340 No privately funded charter school would receive or private charter school receive a penny of federal
00:08:08.860 money. None. And any charter school that in fact is worthy of being able to be in education would have
00:08:18.440 to be accountable to the same exact school boards, the same exact mechanisms that the public school
00:08:26.260 is accountable to. Across the board, there has to be transparency. And a lot of these charter schools
00:08:32.520 are significantly underperforming. Significantly. I can see where you can have a school, for example,
00:08:40.180 a specialty school on the, on the arts or, or for music or for, but if you're going to have a charter
00:08:46.080 school, it cannot come at the expense of the public school. So everything he's saying is just complete
00:08:54.320 nonsense. It doesn't make, it doesn't mean anything. He's saying that the charter schools are
00:08:58.800 underperforming. That's simply not true. Just, just the example of last year, New York city,
00:09:03.760 which is a very important place for charter schools, the students in public schools underperformed
00:09:09.120 the students in the charter schools and, and pretty significantly. And we're talking about public
00:09:13.800 dollars and private dollars. A lot of these schools were started with private dollars. And then you've
00:09:19.640 got programs that can transfer some public money. They're going to the failing schools and get those
00:09:23.980 students to go to the decent schools in New York. You got tens of thousands of students on that wait list
00:09:28.640 for charter schools. Why? Because of course everyone wants to get into the good schools.
00:09:33.280 And what's the rub here? Public schools could lose a billion dollars if those students
00:09:37.080 transferred. So a lot of money on the line, Joe Biden took that side, but across the aisle,
00:09:42.860 including groups that Democrats take for, for granted, uh, charter schools, very popular.
00:09:48.460 It's even beyond Biden. Don't forget Biden is nobody. Biden is an empty suit. He blows around in the
00:09:54.020 wind. Now he probably doesn't even know which way the wind is blowing. He is a symbol of the
00:09:59.460 democratic establishment. Yesterday he forgot who was at the top of the ticket. He referred to the
00:10:03.960 Harris Biden ticket as though Kamala Harris were going to be the president. Joe Biden's going to
00:10:08.200 be the vice president. He's just a vessel for, for democratic policies. How those policies play out
00:10:13.480 very poorly. We saw two days ago and historic peace deal in DC. I was sitting directly across the
00:10:20.260 street from the white house. When that was signed, I was in the hotel with the Israeli and the Bahraini
00:10:24.580 delegation. It was pretty weird, man. We've been told that middle East peace is a pipe dream. Now
00:10:31.060 we're looking at peace deals, not just with Israel and Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, but it
00:10:35.500 could include as many as nine additional nations, including Saudi Arabia, who's the big dog in the 0.98
00:10:40.100 region. And why did this happen? Because Donald Trump bucked the establishment foreign policy
00:10:45.720 trend, specifically the democratic foreign policy establishment trend, even though the last
00:10:51.020 democratic secretary of state, John Kerry told us that kind of a peace deal, a peace deal that dealt
00:10:57.020 with the Arab nations before dealing with the so-called Palestinian state. It's not a state,
00:11:02.980 but the Palestinian issue in Israel, John Kerry said that would be absolutely impossible until it was
00:11:10.300 possible. There will be no separate peace between Israel and the Arab world. I want to make that very 1.00
00:11:17.460 clear to all of you. I've heard several prominent politicians in Israel sometimes saying, well, the
00:11:25.460 Arab world's in a different place now. We just have to reach out to them and we can work some things 1.00
00:11:29.860 with the Arab world and we'll deal with the Palestinians. No, no, no, and no. I can tell you that 1.00
00:11:37.800 reaffirmed even in the last week, as I have talked to leaders of the Arab community, there will be no 1.00
00:11:43.280 advance and separate peace with the Arab world without the Palestinian process and Palestinian 0.72
00:11:49.740 peace. Everybody needs to understand that. That is a hard reality. I love how these democratic
00:11:57.620 politicians who are 100% wrong on these issues, Joe Biden on China, John Kerry on the Middle East,
00:12:03.720 make themselves so clear so that we can just go back and see how wrong they were. In John Kerry's
00:12:09.360 best Thurston Howell, the third voice, he goes, let me tell you something, Teresa. Let me tell you
00:12:15.200 something, loveys. You will not get any Middle East peace. You will not. I promise you, I stake all of 0.79
00:12:22.000 my money on the line. Oh, what was that? You said, well, hold on. He, oh, he got a middle. Oh,
00:12:26.140 uh-oh, uh-oh. Very bad news for Democrats because they've been wrong now explicitly for a very long
00:12:33.580 time on important security measures. Speaking of security measures, you got to get LifeLock.
00:12:38.840 How's that for a segue? LifeLock. You've got to protect yourself when you are on the internet.
00:12:44.100 I know you don't think about it. I didn't used to think about it very much. You open up your computer,
00:12:48.440 you open up your phone, you say, oh, it doesn't matter. Who's trying to get my data?
00:12:51.380 You are wide open. You are vulnerable to bad actors. Since the start of this pandemic,
00:12:56.140 there have been a 300% increase in cybercrime activity. Hackers are becoming more sophisticated
00:13:02.180 in taking advantage of teleconference accounts. They are then using those to pawn information like
00:13:09.360 your emails, like your passwords. Obviously, when the lockdown happened and we all start going on the
00:13:16.540 internet for work, for school, the hackers started going on the internet more too. They know where
00:13:21.980 you are and they realize that you're now much more vulnerable. You could miss certain identity
00:13:26.380 threats by just monitoring your credit. Good thing there is LifeLock, which detects a wide range of
00:13:32.180 identity threats, including your social security number for sale on the dark web. No one can prevent
00:13:37.620 all identity theft or monitor all transactions, obviously, but you can find out if your information
00:13:43.120 is on the dark web. You can find it out right now for free. You can get a free dark web scam
00:13:47.120 at lifelock.com slash Knowles. Then you pick the plan that's right for you. You save up to 25% off
00:13:53.220 your first year with promo code Knowles. That is a free scan. Totally free. Go do it right now.
00:13:57.780 lifelock.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S and 25% off with promo code Knowles. A little prevention is
00:14:04.600 worth a pound of cure. I really trust these guys. Head on over there right now. So they get this stuff
00:14:10.820 totally wrong on the Democratic side of the aisle. What does the press do? They ignore it. I mean,
00:14:17.280 specifically on this issue, John Kerry, Obama's secretary of state says it is not possible to
00:14:21.740 get this Middle East peace deal. Trump does it in his first term. That was at the end of the second
00:14:27.260 Obama term that Kerry said that Trump gets it within the first term. Do the press ask questions about
00:14:32.440 that? No, because they don't want to cover it. They just want to downplay it. And thankfully,
00:14:36.600 our wonderful press secretary, be still my beating heart, Kayleigh McEnany comes out and right as she's
00:14:44.760 about to leave the stage, she rips him for it. What I will weigh into is the Middle East Peel.
00:14:50.500 The Middle East peace deal signed yesterday that I did not receive a single question about. That was
00:14:56.160 the first time it's happened in a quarter of a century. If Obama and Biden had achieved this,
00:15:00.940 they would look a lot different. You wouldn't have Chuck Todd saying he's uncomfortable with the deal.
00:15:06.160 That brings peace between the United Arab Emirates and Israel and Bahrain. You wouldn't have CBS 0.75
00:15:12.340 calling it, quote, a business deal. And you wouldn't have Nancy Pelosi calling it a distraction. 1.00
00:15:17.760 Maybe it's a distraction from her visits to the hair salon. But those were significant agreements.
00:15:22.460 First time in a quarter of a century, three peace deals in 29 days took 26 years for the prior two
00:15:28.740 peace deals. So this the Nobel Peace Prize nomination for the president, two of them very well
00:15:34.400 deserved. Thank you. Kayleigh, if he's a law and order president, why does he keep breaking the law?
00:15:40.560 Kayleigh, no, stop it. Stop it. Stop hurting me, Kayleigh. I can't take it. I love how she does this
00:15:45.600 because it's not just that she goes out and smacks the press. She lures them in. But she does this 0.61
00:15:51.320 whole press conference. She's waiting for them. Just OK. I know she knew that they're not going to ask
00:15:56.920 any question about this historic peace deal. This peace deal that Trump brokered, that was the first
00:16:03.380 normalization of relationships between Israel and an Arab nation in 26 years. Last time was 94. The
00:16:11.540 time before that was 78. You'd think it'd be big news, right? They won't ask. So she waits. And then
00:16:17.620 the very last point, she goes, OK, and before I leave, you all are a bunch of total hacks. You won't cover
00:16:24.280 this because you're nothing but Democratic propagandists. OK, good night. See ya. And then
00:16:28.600 what? The best they can muster is, Kayleigh, he's mean. I don't like the orange man. So the left has
00:16:34.700 to ignore these big news stories, ignore how wrong their politicians have been, how shockingly correct
00:16:41.720 Trump has been. But then they've got to go a little further than that. They've got to censor him. So
00:16:45.640 Facebook right now, Facebook, which is just another aspect of this liberal establishment,
00:16:50.620 Facebook censors a, it's not a Trump campaign ad, but it's an ad affiliated with
00:16:57.600 the Trump election. It's a pro Trump ad, an anti Biden ad about how Joe Biden is going to raise
00:17:03.960 your taxes. Joe Biden has been promising explicitly throughout this campaign that he will raise your
00:17:10.980 taxes. He's bragged about this. We have him on videotape talking about this. So this anti Biden ad
00:17:17.080 just puts Joe Biden's own words on the air and Facebook censors it because they say that it's
00:17:23.360 misleading. Take a listen. Sometimes politicians accidentally tell the truth. Guess what? If you
00:17:29.420 elect me, I'm not going to have you. Your taxes are going to be raised, not cut. And it's true.
00:17:33.500 The New York Times says Biden's tax increases are more than double Hillary Clinton's plan.
00:17:38.680 Even the tax policy center admits taxes would increase on all income groups. If you elect me,
00:17:43.980 I'm not going to have you. Your taxes are going to be raised, not cut. Big tax increases crushing
00:17:48.460 our recovery. It could go higher. America first action is responsible for the content of this
00:17:53.300 advertising. So that is absolutely not permitted on Facebook because then we'd have to listen to
00:18:01.760 what Joe Biden's actually saying. And that would be even less popular than the current propaganda
00:18:07.260 around Joe Biden. So that's got to be censored. Now, do you remember, do you remember just,
00:18:13.040 this was just a couple of weeks ago, Joe Biden ran an ad that said that Donald Trump called neo-Nazis
00:18:20.220 very fine people at Charlottesville. Now we know that isn't true. We've played the clip many times.
00:18:24.780 We've read the transcript many times. He didn't do it. He explicitly said, I'm not talking about neo-Nazis
00:18:30.400 and white supremacists who should be condemned totally. Joe Biden launched his campaign on this
00:18:34.660 lie. It was the very first thing in the very first ad that Joe Biden ran on. And he's been running on
00:18:40.060 it, uh, throughout the campaign. Another lie that he's been running on is that Donald Trump hates
00:18:46.600 the soldiers and he, he's been deriding, uh, dead soldiers, fallen heroes overseas. This is based on
00:18:54.940 nothing. It's based on an Atlantic report from four anonymous sources that was then quote unquote
00:19:01.920 confirmed by an anonymous source, but you can't confirm a report with an anonymous source.
00:19:05.700 Countering that we have 21 people on the record saying it didn't happen. That ad perfectly fine
00:19:12.060 on social media because that ad hits Donald Trump based on lies, based on nothing. That one's okay.
00:19:18.960 But a video simply playing Joe Biden's own words gets censored. We're not even in November yet.
00:19:26.420 We're not even in October yet. This is only going to get much, much worse. The Democrats only chance
00:19:31.480 at this point with all the momentum going for Trump, even after they killed the economy with
00:19:35.660 this stupid lockdown, even with all of that, Trump still has the momentum in his favor. So
00:19:41.540 what are they going to do? They're going to try to steal the election. We're already seeing a lot
00:19:45.440 of evidence and fraud yet again in New Jersey. We will get to that in one second. First got to thank
00:19:50.280 our friends over at Raycon. I highly recommend wireless earbuds from Raycon. Raycon's newest model,

00:20:58.760 Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. County officials in New Jersey have tallied up more than 1,600
00:21:07.020 uncounted ballots from the state's July primary after finding them in some mislabeled bin last Thursday.
00:21:16.160 That's so weird. Ah, gosh, what are the odds that you'd lose 1,600 ballots for a state primary?
00:21:23.820 It's just in a bin. It's in the wrong bin. It was in a secure area though in the county election office,
00:21:29.900 according to the New Jersey Herald. And listen, they're not going to change the results
00:21:34.840 of the July 7th primary race. The board of elections is confident that all ballots received
00:21:42.040 have been processed and the security of all ballots has remained in place. Now we know that in New
00:21:46.640 Jersey just this year, we found out there was a huge voter fraud scheme, another voter fraud scheme
00:21:51.420 to steal an election. We know now that in my own town or my town for right now, Los Angeles,
00:21:59.380 when you get a mail-in ballot, your party identification is on the outside of the envelope.
00:22:04.560 Isn't that a little weird? What happened to our secret ballot? Why is that party identification
00:22:09.240 on the outside of the envelope? Do you think that some of those ballots might end up mislabeled in
00:22:13.340 a bin somewhere? Yeah, probably. Sometimes the left says that there's no evidence of widespread
00:22:19.100 mail-in voter fraud. The reason that that, it's sort of true, it's sort of not true. The reason it's
00:22:25.680 even plausibly true is we don't have widespread mail-in ballots yet. We've never had them before
00:22:31.080 until this year when the left pushed them. We can point to lots and lots of examples of voter
00:22:36.120 fraud, specifically with mail-in. We have an election day for a reason. We have ballot security
00:22:41.140 for a reason. We try to have voter ID for a reason. The Democrats oppose that because they want people
00:22:45.980 who should not be allowed to vote to vote so that they can steal elections because they can't win
00:22:51.380 elections because they have very bad and unpopular ideas. So they are out now trying, they're trying to
00:22:56.060 steal it through censorship. They're trying to steal it through journalistic neglect. And now they're
00:23:00.400 trying to steal it at the ballot box as well, which brings me to a video that I really enjoyed
00:23:05.520 seeing from a Target. And this is a Target shopping center, not like a Target, like pew pew.
00:23:13.400 This scene that came from Target gave me a lot of hope. I know some conservatives are reacting to it
00:23:19.360 in a negative way, but I think they're missing the point here. There was a flash mob that showed up to
00:23:24.280 a Target. They walked in, they put on a little bit of music, then they took all their masks off and
00:23:29.660 started shopping. It was a big stunt to say, hey, everybody take these, these muzzles off of your 1.00
00:23:34.940 face. And I'm not saying that we should always flout rules and regulations, but sometimes we most
00:23:42.080 certainly should. Take a listen. All right, hit it.
00:23:47.280 Here they are. We got some cameras out, got some phones out, got a MAGA hat right there.
00:23:52.700 We're tired. All with their masks, and then they take them off.
00:23:55.980 And now we're taking the masks off because we're done with it.
00:24:01.420 Take your masks off.
00:24:04.040 Take them off.
00:24:07.460 All right, now they're doing this outrageous act of shopping.
00:24:13.980 If they were Democrats, they would be looting, but they're not looting.
00:24:16.740 They're Republicans, so they're shopping. And this is considered dangerous, terrible, violent
00:24:22.680 against the public health.
00:24:26.120 All of the looting and rioting that we've seen for the last six months by Democrats, that 0.77
00:24:31.460 was peaceful, mostly peaceful, fiery, but peaceful.
00:24:36.760 But this, these Republicans of all shapes and sizes, all shades, everybody, they're considered
00:24:45.040 a threat because they're happily taking muzzles off of their face. There are some conservatives 0.99
00:24:49.620 who say, we must respect the rule of law. We must respect all of these rules. First of
00:24:55.260 all, I don't think that a lot of these mask mandates necessarily qualify as the rule of
00:24:59.620 law. I don't think a lot of these lockdowns necessarily qualify as the rule of law or constitutional
00:25:04.920 even.
00:25:07.900 What we're looking at right now is a situation where the left is not playing by the rules that
00:25:13.580 they want us to play by. And when you want rule of law, when you want order in a country,
00:25:19.080 you all need to play by the rules. If half of the country with most of the political power
00:25:24.900 is not playing by those rules, then you certainly should not play by those rules. And when we're
00:25:31.080 getting into these issues of muzzling yourself wherever you go or of not being able to go to
00:25:36.560 church, for goodness sakes, now you're in an area where a little bit of orderly, clever,
00:25:42.640 humorous resistance is not only permissible, but it's absolutely called for. Something has
00:25:49.020 gone really, really wrong with the left establishment, the Democrats, the media,
00:25:53.160 attack all of this in this country, when prominent Hollywood leftists even are admitting that something's
00:25:59.020 gone wrong. Judd Apatow, no conservative, no rock-ribbed Republican, no Trumper has come out
00:26:05.740 and he said that Hollywood has sold its soul to China. We'll get to that in one second. First,
00:26:11.300 I got to thank our friends over at Iro. You know, especially when you're on the internet all the time
00:26:17.880 these days and maybe when you're working from home or doing school from home, you've got that great
00:26:23.100 strong internet everywhere in your house except, you know, one of those places. Sometimes you got
00:26:28.720 these dead spots. You've got that one, no, I hate when I, when my internet goes out, it happens a lot
00:26:33.300 or it did until Iro, an Amazon company, covers your whole home with fast, reliable Wi-Fi inside
00:26:39.780 and out. And this is very important because I know a sweet little Elisa, before, before Iro came on,
00:26:45.200 she was complaining about this kind of thing. Well, we can't get the internet over here. We can't get 0.94
00:26:48.380 the internet. Iro makes every square foot of your house usable by eliminating poor coverage and dead
00:26:52.960 spots. You'll have a consistently strong signal wherever you need it. Iro is fast, easy to set up,
00:26:58.060 just plug it into your modem and boom, you are good to go. You manage Iro from a very simple app.

00:27:39.200 Even Judd Apatow, Hollywood left winger, comes out and he says, something's gone really wrong here.
00:27:46.220 Even we Hollywood left wingers have to, in some way, censor ourselves because this liberal
00:27:52.380 establishment has sold itself out to China. For me, I think what I, what I perceive as more
00:27:59.440 chilling is a corporate type of censorship that people don't really notice, which is a lot of
00:28:05.260 these giant corporate entities have business with, you know, countries around the world, Saudi Arabia
00:28:11.220 or China, and they're just not going to criticize them. And they're not going to let their shows
00:28:15.500 criticize them, or they're not going to air documentaries that go deep into truthful areas
00:28:19.940 because they just make so much money. So while we're all going, you know, can we say this joke
00:28:24.380 or not say that joke? On a much bigger level, they have just completely shut down critical
00:28:31.500 content about human rights abuses in China. And I think that's much scarier.
00:28:39.080 He makes a great point. That's obviously happening. I mean, specifically with regard to China,
00:28:43.460 you can point to the movies, you can point to the scenes. This, this, uh, new version of Top
00:28:48.100 Gun explicitly is taking the flags of China's enemies off of it and just trying to appease
00:28:53.500 them. But it's happened in a lot of movies as well. So you got this problem at the, what
00:28:57.960 you would call the corporate level, right? It's not just the political level. It's the, at the
00:29:00.980 corporate level. And it's not even just that kind of cynicism. It's at the, the ideological
00:29:05.140 level too. There was this piece I mentioned it, I think yesterday on the show from
00:29:08.920 vox.com that it says how Beethoven's fifth symphony put the classes, the classism in classical
00:29:19.800 music. Beethoven's most famous work changed the way we listen and how we're supposed to
00:29:27.000 listen. And it's a long, uh, meandering read about how for people in some groups, women,
00:29:36.620 LGBTQ plus people, people of color, Beethoven symphony may be predominantly a reminder of
00:29:43.660 classical music's history of exclusion and elitism. They're now trying to cancel Beethoven's
00:29:49.800 most famous, famous work. You know, it's the one that goes, dah, dah, dah, dah. They're
00:29:55.480 trying to cancel that because, because why? Because of classism? No, because they want to cancel
00:30:01.500 culture. We hear about cancel culture. Well, what is cancel culture about? It's about canceling
00:30:05.780 culture. And that is deeply unpopular. I mean, that's a, that is a, just one example
00:30:11.660 and one symbol of, of what the left is doing. They are trying to destroy every single thing
00:30:17.360 we cherish in this civilization because their view is that the civilization is rotten to the
00:30:21.680 core and we need to deconstruct it or dismantle it or destroy it or the, whatever term that they
00:30:28.460 use of the day. And they want to replace it with something else, either their own unfettered
00:30:33.440 imagination or instrumentally some aspect of some other culture that we don't particularly
00:30:37.160 cherish because it's not from our civilization. And it, it's a seen as in opposition to the
00:30:43.660 things we hold dear at all of these levels. That is not a recipe for popularity. And so
00:30:48.900 the only way that the left can win people over to their side is by taking them, by stealing
00:30:55.000 these things, by cooking the books. That's what they're trying to do with this election. 0.88
00:30:58.480 We've got to get to the mailbag first, though. I do want to mention that there is a news story
00:31:02.980 came out a couple of days ago, right when I was about to go on the air to cover president
00:31:07.820 Trump's town hall, which is that the daily wire is moving to Nashville. Can't you just
00:31:13.100 see me as a southerner? Howdy yeehaw. I love Nashville. When I moved from New York to LA,
00:31:20.040 the only town that I spent an extra night in was Nashville. It's a great town. So we're very
00:31:24.880 excited. I like LA too, but, but LA has become basically unlivable. They're, they're killing
00:31:30.840 companies here. They're putting outrageous, onerous restrictions on everything. Often they won't
00:31:36.460 even let you go to the park or to the beach because of their tyrannical flexes of power.
00:31:41.220 The town has now been overrun by crime and homelessness. The mayor here, absolutely failed
00:31:47.880 mayor, Eric Garcetti passed a zillion dollar bond. I think it was over a billion dollar bond
00:31:52.460 to fight homelessness. And what happened? Homelessness spiked in LA County, 12% in one
00:31:56.680 year in the city, 16% in one year. They've taken over huge parks, some of the nicest neighborhoods,
00:32:02.260 many, many city blocks. You just can't do it. And now the state government wants to come in
00:32:06.500 and steal everybody's money and stop us all from doing business. So you got to leave at a certain
00:32:11.080 point. You can't take it anymore. I do want to point out though, that while Tennessee is a great red
00:32:16.540 state, the governor very kindly welcomed us. Some members of Congress in Tennessee welcomed us,
00:32:22.340 coming there. A lot of wonderful people in Nashville have welcomed us. There is a one
00:32:27.100 author from, I guess the left wing paper in Nashville, Stephen Hale from the Nashville scene.
00:32:32.820 He, uh, see, I guess I'll censor this with my own, with my thumb here. Uh, a hole moving to town,
00:32:39.500 Ben Shapiro announced he and the daily wire coming to Nashville. Thanks. We hate it. And then,
00:32:43.920 you know, he calls us all sorts of names and everything. All I can say to that, uh, as we get ready to
00:32:48.480 make this move is see you soon, neighbor. Can't wait. Uh, can't wait to see you there in Nashville.
00:32:54.940 Uh, we're going to have a great time. Lots and lots of changes. Don't forget, as we look at all
00:32:59.820 this madness around us, people can despair. They say, oh my gosh, they're taking away all of our
00:33:05.740 rights. They're taking away our ability to go to church. They're taking away all these wonderful
00:33:10.780 things that we hold dear, our education, our statues, our traditions. Sure. True. I don't mean to
00:33:16.100 underplay that at all, but chaos can breed opportunity if you know how to play it.
00:33:20.960 And that's how conservatives should be looking to do these things because you know, the, the world is
00:33:25.660 all going to go up in flames eventually, but, but what can we do in the meantime to try to make it
00:33:30.980 work, try to make it just a little bit better? How can you make your sleep a little bit better?
00:33:35.280 Well, you can get my pillow. That's how that is. And that's how you do a segue. Mike Lindell,
00:33:40.300 you know, Mike Lindell, he's one of the most famous conservatives in America. He is the inventor of
00:33:44.220 my pillow. Mike's latest deal is on his Giza dreams sheets, which are made from the world's
00:33:50.180 best cotton Giza. They are extremely soft and breathable. They're extremely durable right now.
00:33:56.000 The Giza dream sheet are a two for one. So you'll get two for one incredibly low price plus free
00:34:02.840 shipping with promo code daily wire. And there's actually a funny story with two for one because
00:34:06.380 I've been a huge fan of Mike Lindell for a long time. And then my pillow decides they're going to
00:34:10.740 come on the show. So I say, okay, that's great. They say, we're going to send you a pillow. I said,
00:34:13.780 oh, go look forward to that. You know, I'd heard my pillows, best pillow out there.
00:34:16.860 So I, but we only got one pillow. So they give us one pillow. I try it out. This is the best pillow
00:34:22.840 I've ever used, but by far, it's not even close. Uh, trouble is now sweet little Lisa wants to use 1.00
00:34:27.900 the, my pillow. So now I'm just going to have to go online and buy another, my pillow and I'll gladly do
00:34:32.560 it. I don't even care that I'm not getting two for one. I'll do one for one. It's that good.
00:34:36.080 And all my pillow products come with a 60 day money back guarantee. Uh, really tremendous stuff.
00:34:41.780 They also have mattress toppers. They got all, all sorts of great stuff. All my pillow products
00:34:45.320 have that 60 day money back guarantee. Go to mypillow.com. Click on the radio listeners square
00:34:49.320 to check out the two for one low price on the Giza dreams sheets plus free shipping. There are also
00:34:57.100 deep discounts on all the other my pillow products to enter promo code daily wire or call 800-651-1148
00:35:03.920 for those great radio specials. All right. We are getting in to the mailbag. Uh, don't forget
00:35:11.320 by on September 28th, we're going to start broadcasting this show on the Michael Knowles
00:35:14.900 show YouTube channel rather than the daily wire channel. So make sure you subscribe to the Michael
00:35:18.720 Knowles show YouTube channel. Uh, and we will get into the mailbag. Stick around. We'll be right back.
00:35:33.920 First question from Carter. Michael, over the weekend, I watched the Godfather and the Godfather
00:35:40.560 part two for the first time. I thought they were terrific. And I wanted to say that you were amazing
00:35:45.120 as Michael Corleone. You haven't aged a bit in your opinion. Should I watch the Godfather part three?
00:35:50.980 I've heard it is not as good, but wanted your opinion. Thanks. You want to know something?
00:35:55.120 I've seen the Godfather part one. I don't know, 50 times. I've seen the Godfather part two. I don't
00:36:01.040 know, 50 times. I've never seen part three. I haven't wanted to do it. You've got two of the
00:36:07.140 greatest movies ever made. And then part three, they, they say it's not great. So I haven't seen
00:36:13.940 it yet. And I don't intend to, if you see it, let me know. But I don't, I'm, I'm so deeply in love
00:36:19.580 with the Godfather films that I don't want something to be less than wonderful. So I'm going to reverse
00:36:24.700 this. You tell me if I should watch it. And then maybe I will because just, just when I think I'm
00:36:30.800 out, they pull me back in from anonymous, dear Michael in my early twenties. And for the past
00:36:36.640 couple of years, I've been occasionally, but intensely drawn to Christianity, right? I've been
00:36:41.960 slowly reading the gospels and find that many of the ways I see the world are just clicking into place.
00:36:47.780 However, I'm fiercely proud of my Jewish identity, the state of Israel and love celebrating the major
00:36:53.860 Jewish holidays. Not to mention there is not one non-Jew in my entire immediate or extended family.
00:36:59.020 So I feel incredibly conflicted about potentially betraying them if I ever decided to leave. What
00:37:03.360 do I do? Thank you. Well, I can name some other prominent Jews in the history of Christianity,
00:37:09.520 if you like, namely Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Peter, Paul, I guess all of the apostles. And so, so many,
00:37:20.540 so many of the early Christians and later Christians too, wonderful recent saints, Jewish.
00:37:26.560 I understand this is a real problem because you feel as though if you, if you leave a religious
00:37:34.840 group, especially a religious group that also happens to be an ethnic group, that you're somehow 0.75
00:37:38.840 betraying people, but you're not. The, the, the ultimate responsibility you have is to God.
00:37:45.140 Okay. And so one would hope that your family will come around and understand and realize that you,
00:37:51.800 you have to be responsible to your God, but even if they don't too bad, you know, your, uh, Christ says
00:37:59.660 this, he says, you know, if you do not hate your brother and sister and, and, uh, father and mother,
00:38:05.940 you can't follow me. Now he also says, love your neighbor as yourself. And he obviously is love
00:38:10.620 himself. Uh, but what does he mean by that? What he means is if you are prioritizing something of
00:38:16.320 this world, even something as, as wonderful and, uh, loyal and deep and profound and important as
00:38:24.500 family over God, then you're doing it wrong. And this is obviously perfectly in line with what,
00:38:32.860 what you would read in the old Testament as well. You can't prioritize anything over God.
00:38:37.340 So I would welcome you to the body of Christ. It's a wonderful thing. I, I'm, I'm, I'm trivializing
00:38:42.520 it. I understand that it's, it is difficult. I would recommend reading Andrew Clavin, another
00:38:47.360 Jew who is a Christian, ethnic Jew, former, you know, he was raised Jewish, uh, and who is also a
00:38:54.780 Christian. I would read his memoir, the great good thing. It's a, it's a good way to navigate that.
00:38:59.880 And there's so many others as well, but I welcome you and I wish you, uh, all the best and look forward
00:39:04.980 to seeing you in heaven someday. Hopefully knock on wood from Joshua, Michael, why do progressives
00:39:11.320 think everything is a fundamental human right? Healthcare voting and now clean air and water.
00:39:16.200 Isn't it more accurate to say everything they want should be a right? You mean like a civil right
00:39:21.900 or something, you know, or, or like a, just a law that you pass. The reason they say this,
00:39:27.520 that everything is a human right, coffee is a human right now is because they don't really mean
00:39:33.300 the same thing by right that we mean by right. Cause they don't really believe in rights at all.
00:39:38.540 Right. Where would, where would a right come from? Well, it would come from, 0.62
00:39:41.620 I guess the natural law and the natural law implies a natural lawmaker ties back into the
00:39:46.740 religious question we had earlier. And they don't believe in any of that stuff. They don't believe
00:39:51.480 in this eternal stuff. They don't believe that the nature is even set by fixed laws. The human
00:39:56.320 nature is. They believe that human nature is on a continuum. They think that Newton was replaced by
00:40:00.560 Darwin. They, and they, and even, even those phrases are rife for abuse because they, they don't
00:40:07.160 really understand even what that means. But the gist of it is they think that everything is always
00:40:13.260 sort, sort of changing. And so when we talk about human rights, we're just talking about the things
00:40:17.440 that we really want. We really want, uh, it, it would be nice to have healthcare. So it's a human
00:40:22.560 right. Modern medical technology is a human right. So that means that, that virtually everyone who ever
00:40:28.540 lived before us without modern medical technology was deprived of their human right. And we will be
00:40:33.480 considered to have been deprived of our human right when medical technology advances. So then
00:40:37.500 what does that right even mean? It doesn't mean anything. It's just an expression of their will.
00:40:41.640 And that's really what you're seeing with, uh, most liberal arguments is it's not even an argument
00:40:47.860 from reason or for, from eternal law. It's an argument from the will. And that's no argument at all.
00:40:52.920 It's just saying, gimme, gimme, gimme from Thomas. Hey, Michael, with all the identity politics going
00:40:58.440 around these days and the left's fascination with men being able to identify as, and be treated as
00:41:02.120 women. When do you think it will become a common leftist ideology for people to identify as, and be
00:41:06.820 treated by the left as another race? I ask because despite being a straight white male, I would 0.83
00:41:11.140 certainly love to convince leftists that I'm actually a lesbian black woman and get them to pay me
00:41:15.220 reparations. Since of course it was Democrats who kept slavery and racial bigotry alive. Love to hear your
00:41:19.600 thoughts. Well, you're already seeing this a little bit with the Rachel Dolezals. And there was that 0.77
00:41:23.080 professor recently because there are certain legal advantages associated with race. Now they say,
00:41:29.540 they, they pretend that there are legal advantages associated with being white, but there aren't
00:41:33.020 right. The, the only legal racism or racial discrimination we have in the country is affirmative
00:41:37.660 action. It gives you a privilege and advantage if you are black or Hispanic, for example, and it gives 0.95
00:41:43.540 you a disadvantage if you are white or Asian. And so no surprise that there are white people, a number 0.99
00:41:51.200 of them now very prominently who have pretended to be black so that they can get certain legal and
00:41:56.020 social advantages. Uh, this, I don't think will, will be accepted at a broad level, however, because
00:42:02.460 the, uh, the, the left does not care about any of these issues per se. They don't care about one race
00:42:09.960 over another because of that race or because as we were just saying, because of some eternal
00:42:14.080 principle, they're doing it instrumentally to gain power. And, and you don't need to take my word for
00:42:20.180 it. I mean, the, the theorists, uh, the, and the political philosophers who plotted out this kind of
00:42:26.040 regime, especially in the 20th century said this explicitly. He said what we need to do. I mean,
00:42:30.840 and the organizers who did it too, Saul Alinsky was very prominent in this. You got to divvy up the
00:42:35.000 electorate in this way, create new identity groups, give them some special privileges, buy them off,
00:42:40.900 and then they will vote for you and you will get more power. I mean, this was, uh, explicitly the
00:42:46.400 argument for creating lots of new racial identity groups that previously had not existed. And, and
00:42:51.320 people were even slow sometimes to identify with those groups until the left decided to start offering
00:42:57.540 them money and privileges for it. So I don't think that's going to be mainstreamed because the,
00:43:01.360 the very point of it is to keep the people that they want to keep out of it out and the people 0.93
00:43:06.100 that they want to bribe, bribed from Gabriel. Hey, Michael, I was talking with a friend today
00:43:11.180 about our country. And one of the things he said was that he believed that our country was mostly
00:43:16.080 being run by white supremacists. What is your take on this and how would you refute it? Thank you for
00:43:22.340 all that you do and love your show. I think that's probably why the, why I couldn't even read that
00:43:26.320 question is because I've already refuted it. That was the premise of the last one. There are legal
00:43:30.260 advantages, uh, based on race in this country, but it's not based on white supremacy from Patrick
00:43:36.280 dear fiery, but mostly peaceful Knowles. Many on the right believe that the 1960s were the turning
00:43:41.240 point in the decay of our society due to the sexual revolution, increased secularization,
00:43:46.940 second wave feminism, fading of American exceptionalism, et cetera. How can you convince 0.79
00:43:51.960 someone on the left that this has led to a lot of the chaos we're living through when they think most
00:43:57.520 of those things are net benefits to society and Trump is the source of all of the chaos. I appreciate
00:44:03.840 your thoughts. Yeah. I suppose you just have to go further back than the sixties. I agree with you 0.59
00:44:09.980 that the sixties were a turning point, uh, but what, what some of those people I think fail to do
00:44:14.780 is connect the premises of the 1960s and their rosy rose colored glass version of the 1960s with the
00:44:22.400 mayhem we're seeing now, you know, the, uh, the sort of the idealism of the 1960s compared to the
00:44:30.280 decay of the 1970s. Even you saw, you know, I guess to use a good example from the 1960s,
00:44:38.380 you take a bunch of drugs and you get really high and you feel euphoric for a period of time.
00:44:44.000 And then you have a hangover or you have withdrawal or you have addiction or you have misery.
00:44:52.420 All of that is, is because of the drugs. But if you only remember the euphoria,
00:44:57.480 then you're still going to be pro drug, even though you see what happened afterwards. Same
00:45:01.320 thing with this free love. Free love is pretty good for a short period of time. At least it feels
00:45:05.660 pretty good, but then you have disease. Then you have heartbreak. Then you have sexual assault.
00:45:11.240 Then you have unwanted pregnancy that, that can lead to children being abused. Then you have
00:45:18.480 all of these kinds of, uh, awful social consequences. But if all you remember is the
00:45:23.980 heat of the moment, then you say, oh, that was pretty good. So you have to, to show that connection.
00:45:28.500 Obviously Trump couldn't have started the decay, the decay and the chaos has been going on long
00:45:32.820 before Donald Trump. But you, what you have to do is show the connection between cause and effect.
00:45:37.720 And you, you have to show people that there's no such thing as a free lunch or free love or a free
00:45:43.700 high without any consequences. From Andrew. Hey, Michael, I never voted before and I want to.
00:45:50.120 I'm just confused as to why I should. Hillary claimed that she won the popular vote by 3 million votes, 0.97
00:45:55.000 which seems to me that that means the popular vote doesn't do anything because she lost. That's
00:45:59.380 true. The popular vote is, has nothing to do with the election. Could you explain to me why we have a
00:46:03.420 popular vote or what I'm missing as to why I should vote? Well, sure. Uh, you should vote because,
00:46:10.140 because if you're listening to this show, you probably have a fairly decent political point
00:46:14.880 of view and we want that view to be expressed at the ballot box. But yeah, the president has never
00:46:19.120 been selected by popular vote. That is a myth that the Democrats try to drag out every time they,
00:46:24.340 they lose the election, but they win the popular vote. Then they, then they try to change the rules,
00:46:28.840 but the, the rules, even that come down to why we would campaign in certain States are based on
00:46:33.960 trying to win the election the way the constitution set up, not based on the popular vote or whatever.
00:46:39.960 By the way, if the election were about winning the popular vote, I bet Donald Trump would have won
00:46:43.580 the popular vote because he would have gone to the places with big populations instead of focusing on
00:46:47.900 the places where the electoral vote matters. So you should vote for that one, because if the Democrats
00:46:54.440 do win the popular vote, you want to be able to mitigate their bragging about how they won the
00:46:58.760 popular vote. Uh, but you, you should vote because we have a self-governing Republic and that's the
00:47:03.180 way the system works right now. And we want the good guys to vote more than the less good guys to
00:47:07.880 vote. All right. Take one more question from Dave. Hey, Michael, when the infamous NBC tape came out,
00:47:14.060 Trump was quoted as saying that when you're a star, women will let you do anything, including grabbing 1.00
00:47:18.420 them in their private parts. How has no one made the connection that this is exactly what Joe Biden is
00:47:23.700 accused of doing actually doing with Tara Reid. Trump didn't say he actually did that. Although
00:47:29.960 no one would be surprised if he did, but Joe Biden is actually accused of this very act.
00:47:34.640 Actually, no, actually it's a little bit different than that. Cause what Trump is saying is when you're
00:47:39.080 a star, they let you do it. Right. And so when people say that he's, he was, he's bragging about
00:47:44.360 sexual assault by definition, he's not right. Really what he's doing is just telling a locker room
00:47:48.760 joke to Billy Bush, but in his very language, by definition, he's saying they let you do it.
00:47:54.180 So it's not an assault. What Joe Biden is accused of actually doing, she did not let him do. And Joe
00:48:01.300 Biden was not a star by the way. He was a politician in DC. Okay. And so it doesn't even qualify on the
00:48:07.440 premise of what Trump is saying. But the key here is, is the consent, right? Trump's, the premise of
00:48:11.560 Trump's joke is that there is consent. The premise of what Joe Biden is actually being accused of doing
00:48:16.220 is no consent. I'm just going to do it. But why are they not focusing on this, this blatant hypocrisy?
00:48:22.900 Because they don't have to, because they don't have to, because nobody's going to hold them to
00:48:27.320 account to do that. And because of projection, projection where the Democrats accuse their
00:48:33.060 opponents of doing the very things that they do. Democrats accuse Republicans of being soft on
00:48:37.980 Russia. Democrats have just spent a hundred years being soft on Russia in this country, but all of a
00:48:42.840 sudden they flip it. They're not going to be held to account. That's why we're in a less deliberative
00:48:48.900 time. That's why we've got to be a little bit clever and take all of this chaos and try to breed
00:48:54.160 some opportunity. That's our show. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. See you on Monday.
