The Michael Knowles Show

Ep. 645 - 15 Years To Slow The Spread

Summary

In this episode of The Michael Knowles Show, Michael talks about why Joe Biden might have been telling the truth about voter fraud, and why it matters more than ever if he wins the election. He also talks about the latest in the Ebola pandemic, and what to do if the government decides to declare an emergency.

00:00:00.000 We have a major update from all of our expert scientists.
00:00:04.040 This is going to put us all at ease, finally get the country moving again.
00:00:08.800 Joe Biden's COVID advisor promises us that we just have to lock down the country for another
00:00:15.880 four to six weeks. And then four to six weeks, we're gonna lock down, we're gonna stay in our
00:00:20.660 pods, we're not gonna go outside, no one's gonna work. And then in four to six weeks,
00:00:24.780 then we will return from this pandemic. I would remind everybody, it is now 241 days
00:00:33.140 since the federal government told us that we had 15 days to slow the spread. That's the science.
00:00:38.980 You got to trust the science, even when the science changes its mind every single day.
00:00:43.500 That's what you can look forward to if Joe Biden wins the race. I'm Michael Knowles,
00:00:46.940 this is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:00:54.780 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment from yesterday is from Jacob,
00:01:00.520 who says, oh, this is a quote. This is a quote from Joe Biden, presidential candidate who might
00:01:05.360 consider himself the president elect. We have put together, I think, the most extensive and
00:01:10.560 inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics. That might be the one time
00:01:15.700 Joe Biden has told the truth. I think we found the one time, it's a Freudian slip, which of course is
00:01:20.640 where you say one thing but mean your mother. Joe Biden bragged about this. Now, people came out
00:01:27.140 and said, no, no, Joe Biden, what he really meant was that it's the best voter fraud fighting
00:01:34.300 organization, the most anti-voter fraud. Well, that's not what he said. And the more we learn
00:01:39.000 out of Philadelphia, the more we learn out of Pittsburgh, the more we learn out of Arizona,
00:01:42.240 the more we learn out of Georgia, the more we learn out of Michigan. It seems like Joe might
00:01:46.320 have been telling the truth. We'll get to all of those states in just a second. This election
00:01:52.480 is going to be really, really close, regardless of who wins it. If President Trump wins it,
00:01:57.580 if Joe Biden wins it, it's going to be a really, really close shave. And if you want a close shave,
00:02:01.720 I would strongly recommend you check out Harry's razors. How is that for a segue? I love Harry's
00:02:07.660 razors. This is the best razor, hands down, that I've ever used. They have new, sharper blades.
00:02:13.920 Those new, sharper blades are the same low price that Harry's has always brought you.
00:02:18.440 $2 a piece. That is unbelievable. That does not make any sense. You can find Harry's in the big
00:02:24.720 box drugstore near you, or you can get Harry's online, which I would strongly recommend. That's
00:02:29.820 what I do. I never remember to go out and buy new razors. So in the old days, I would just use the
00:02:34.960 same razor for years at a time. It was certainly a health hazard, speaking of public health. So go,
00:02:40.960 sign up. You get this wonderful German factory. They've been honing razor blades for 100 years.
00:02:47.220 They source their steel from Sweden, and they also have a 100% quality guarantee. You're not
00:02:51.560 going to have any questions about them, though. You're going to love Harry's. Best shave I've ever
00:02:55.020 had. Available wherever you shop. If you like to shop online, Harry's has a great offer for the
00:02:59.980 listeners right now. New U.S. customers can redeem a Harry's trial set at harrys.com slash
00:03:05.260 Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. You will get a five-blade razor featuring their new sharper blades, a weighted
00:03:10.220 handle, foaming shave gel with aloe, and a travel cover to protect your blade when you're on the
00:03:14.700 go. And I love that travel cover because it's got little holes in it, so it can actually kind
00:03:17.840 of breathe. It's just, it's so great. Harry's.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. Redeem your trial
00:03:22.680 offer today. Trust me, you're not going to want to miss out on that. That's just science.
00:03:28.760 You're not going to want to miss out on a great job. That's just something we're told all the time
00:03:32.760 about science. What happened when our public health experts, like Dr. Fauci, for instance,
00:03:39.140 told us not to wear masks? Don't wear masks. Masks are bad for you. If you wear a mask,
00:03:43.180 you're being irresponsible. Surgeon General of the United States said the same thing,
00:03:46.680 and we were told trust the science, believe the science, as though the science were some deity that
00:03:51.280 we have to pay obeisance to. Well, then all those guys completely changed their minds.
00:03:55.980 Based on what? Based on new studies? We didn't get really new studies.
00:04:00.140 They changed their minds. Then you got to believe the science there.
00:04:03.100 We were told, believe the science, 15 days to slow the spread, flatten the curve,
00:04:05.920 so that you don't overwhelm the hospital system. Not find a cure, not reduce the number of cases,
00:04:10.240 not even really reduce the number of deaths. Just reduce the number of unnecessary deaths if you
00:04:15.020 were to overwhelm the hospital system. We never came close to overwhelming the hospital system
00:04:18.740 anywhere in the country, including New York. They had the Javits Center. They had that hospital ship.
00:04:23.600 Didn't need either of them. Same thing over in California. Didn't need it. Great. Big success,
00:04:28.060 right? So the lockdowns are over by April 1st, right? No way. Not a chance. We're now 241 days in.
00:04:36.440 People are dying alone. People are not seeing their grandparents. Now we're being told we're not
00:04:41.700 allowed to go home for Thanksgiving. Or if we do go home, you can only have a meal with 10 people.
00:04:47.380 So I've got some Catholic friends of mine. Some of them have just 10 kids, or 11 kids,
00:04:52.520 or 12 kids. So you've got to pick your favorites. You've got to send those other kids outside.
00:04:56.600 Maybe they can come for Christmas. We'll see. We'll see if President-elect Joe Biden will let them.
00:05:03.200 More on him in just a bit. So there's one new machine out of Nebraska,
00:05:07.580 which is it's a new scientific way to circumvent the lockdowns. It allows you to hug.
00:05:13.000 I can't even get through it without laughing. It allows you to hug your relatives by reaching
00:05:20.140 through a plastic sheet and in plastic, wrapping your plastic arms around your beloved grandfather.
00:05:28.780 Take a listen.
00:05:29.320 Is this heartwarming? I don't...
00:05:43.140 It's something kind of heartwarming because you know that these grandparents haven't seen
00:05:51.020 their grandkids in however long. It's also very sad.
00:06:04.840 This is what not the virus has reduced us to. This is what bad policies have reduced us to.
00:06:12.500 This is inhuman.
00:06:13.500 You know, I have friends. I unfortunately haven't been able to travel back to see my grandparents in
00:06:20.180 the last, whatever, five or six months that this has really been going on. But I have friends who
00:06:26.200 have. And in some cases, the parents didn't want to see them. They said, I'm too afraid of the virus.
00:06:33.900 But in most cases, the grandparents said, come on in here, Sonny. This happened to a very good friend
00:06:39.300 of mine just a couple months ago. He said, come on in here. I know I'm 85 years old. I know I'm at
00:06:44.100 risk. But you know, I'm going to die soon anyway. And I don't want to go without seeing my loved ones.
00:06:49.460 There have been petitions in nursing... There was a protest, actually, at a nursing home where people
00:06:53.160 said, the thing we look forward to is getting hugs from our relatives. And you're taking that away from
00:06:57.000 us, you sick politicians. That question of whether or not you can hug your grandparents, that's not a
00:07:03.740 scientific question. Maybe there's some increased risk to the virus. Maybe the risk actually isn't
00:07:08.320 that large compared to other viruses. That's sort of beside the point. There's a political question,
00:07:13.760 a philosophical question, a theological question. What are we here for? How are we to relate to one
00:07:18.620 another? How are we to relate to life? How are we to relate to death? It occurred to me yesterday
00:07:25.580 that COVID is the single craziest thing to ever happen in my lifetime. Ever. Not the virus. I had
00:07:34.840 plenty of viruses in my lifetime. West Nile, Ebola, all those sort of things. Swine flu.
00:07:42.060 The COVID lockdowns. That's the craziest thing to happen in my lifetime. I tweeted this out and a
00:07:46.860 number of people said, well, what about 9-11? You were alive for 9-11. 9-11, I guess, was the most
00:07:51.760 horrific thing to happen in my lifetime. But that's different than crazy. It's not that it was so crazy,
00:08:00.340 so unusual, so unexpected, so unprecedented. There have always been terrorist attacks in history.
00:08:05.520 Many of them have come from Islamic radicals. There actually was already a terror attack on the
00:08:09.680 World Trade Center in 1993. The people who did it told us their justification for doing it. So still,
00:08:15.380 obviously, horrific. Crazy is a different thing. And the COVID lockdowns are absolutely crazy because
00:08:22.280 there is no reasoning behind it. They change the reasoning every single day. They extend it
00:08:29.420 indefinitely. There is no end in sight, no matter what these hack politicians tell you. Biden's COVID
00:08:35.240 advisor says four to six weeks. A likely story. I've heard that one before. To quote a former president,
00:08:41.560 fool me once, shame on you. Fooled me twice. The point is you ain't going to fool me again.
00:08:45.400 Again, that's the sort of science that we're talking about here. It's just a power grab.
00:08:54.320 I am not going to wear a mask at Thanksgiving. I would encourage you all not to wear masks on
00:08:59.860 Thanksgiving. I'm not making a scientific point. I'm not saying it's because the masks don't work
00:09:05.560 that well, even though we've quoted many epidemiologists, for instance, from Columbia.
00:09:09.760 We've quoted the CDC. We've quoted Dr. Fauci himself saying that the masks don't work that well.
00:09:13.460 That's not the point I'm making. I'm not going to wear the mask because the masks are disordered.
00:09:18.820 They present a disordered view of the world, a disordered view of germs, a disordered view of
00:09:24.300 society and social relations. They change what we are, social animals. Aristotle calls us the
00:09:29.280 political animal. They change that social nature of us from looking at one another as fellow human
00:09:34.320 beings, fellow citizens, fellow family members, to looking at each other as bags of germs that are
00:09:40.340 going to destroy us, that are out to kill us, that only can be protected by the government and by
00:09:48.480 government lockdowns. I ain't going to do it. It's political control in the name of science. Now,
00:09:52.720 by the way, people have been asking me since the beginning of COVID, some people who are a little
00:09:57.500 more eccentric or excitable, they've said, Michael, this is the end times. COVID is it,
00:10:04.040 heralding the end times, the antichrist and the COVID stuff. It's going to be the mark of the
00:10:09.100 beast. And I said, you know, that seems a little, that seems a little extreme. You know, no one knows
00:10:15.720 the day or the hour, not even the sun, but only the father knows the day or the day. So I'm not
00:10:19.380 going to presume to know that. But then I read stories like this and I say, gosh, this, I don't
00:10:24.080 know, maybe those excitable people have a point. Now that a vaccine is in the works, it looks like it's
00:10:30.160 going to come out. It was announced just a couple of days after the election, conveniently. Now
00:10:35.260 we're being told by Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster may resume live events, but they're going to require
00:10:41.500 you to present a sort of passport to say that you've had the vaccine. That's a very creepy position
00:10:49.820 to be in, where in order to engage in commercial activity, you have to get a certain vaccine. We've
00:10:54.780 never really had that in America. Now Ticketmaster is saying, perhaps you can have a test. And if
00:11:00.960 you can prove that you have the test, fine. What is scientific about that? If I were to get
00:11:07.180 the flu right now, I'd be at a much greater risk of dying, right? Depending on what conditions I've
00:11:11.360 got. But younger people, babies, children, much higher risk from the flu, which we all tolerate,
00:11:17.480 than from coronavirus. How come we don't require that you get your flu shot? Maybe we soon will
00:11:24.000 require that you get your flu shot. That's again, a political question, but it's all being passed
00:11:30.740 off in science. The mayor of Chicago, the failed state of Chicago and the failed mayor who runs it
00:11:35.960 just came out. She's trying her hand at comedy and she's trying her hand at comedy in the name of
00:11:41.140 science to say that she's assuming Joe Biden just got elected president, that science is back.
00:11:54.000 Oh, thank God. Science is back, baby.
00:12:06.740 And the earth is round, not flat.
00:12:12.100 Washing your hands does work. Social distancing does matter. And wearing a face covering does help
00:12:22.480 protect all of us. I do love science.
00:12:27.200 If that is science, give me alchemy. Whatever that is, I don't want that. I oppose whatever
00:12:42.280 that is. That of course is not science and those are not scientists and even our conception of
00:12:46.740 science is pretty flawed. But that's a politician. That's a very corrupt Chicago politician. You ever
00:12:53.880 notice how all the people who promote science to us are, they're all politicians? Andrew Cuomo
00:12:59.300 believes science. This lady believes science. Al Gore wins a Nobel prize for making a PowerPoint
00:13:04.340 about science. They're all politicians. Isn't that a little weird? The reason for that, this goes back
00:13:10.660 to the earliest days of the progressive movement, which coincided with the rise of the social sciences,
00:13:15.300 which then fed data into the administrative state, which took decisions away from the authentically
00:13:20.300 political realm in our constitutional system, gave it to so-called experts to make all our decisions
00:13:24.480 for us. And it was all done in the name of science. Social science, political science, economic
00:13:29.240 science, whatever this kind of science is, epidemiology, all these sorts of sciences so that you can't
00:13:35.080 disagree with it. Right now, we're told that we ought to be able to kill a baby in the womb. Why?
00:13:39.940 Because that's science. That's not a baby. It's an embryo. Okay, well, what's the difference?
00:13:46.620 Well, I don't know. But look, that's not a baby. It's a fetus. Well, okay, do you know what the word
00:13:50.080 fetus means? The word fetus is Latin for offspring. It just means baby. Okay, enough with that etymology
00:13:55.820 buster. I'm no classicist over here. I'm a scientist. And what I'm telling you is that's a zygote. That's
00:14:01.620 not a baby. Okay, you can keep inventing these kind of newfangled jargon. It doesn't change the
00:14:07.400 ontological fact that this is a baby. They say, nope, sorry, that's science. You got to kill the babies.
00:14:12.240 It is a scientific fact, did you know, that men can become women. It's just science. You say,
00:14:18.220 well, I don't know that that's right. No, someone in a lab coat told me that, and they published it
00:14:22.220 in a journal, and it's in the academy. Believe it. But of course, none of this is science.
00:14:27.660 These scientific statements are meant to defend policies that people want, namely legal abortion
00:14:33.300 or transgender ideology, letting men use the women's changing room or something to that effect.
00:14:39.420 And that's fine. But the reason they have to pretend it's science is so that you can't debate.
00:14:44.660 Whenever you hear it's science, believe the science, Lori Lightfoot over there in Chicago,
00:14:48.160 science is back. What that really means is there's no more debate. There's no more room to disagree
00:14:52.900 because we are going to define all of our views as beyond the realm of public debate,
00:14:58.800 and you are just going to have to deal with it. These are political questions. Some people get that.
00:15:04.220 You know, I notice the conservative politicians are much less likely to buy into this kind of game,
00:15:10.500 even though it might help them in some cases. Ron DeSantis over in Florida, maybe my favorite
00:15:16.100 governor in the United States. Ron DeSantis is dealing in political questions. So there have been
00:15:22.740 some problems around the country, you know. When people are going out and mobbing and looting and
00:15:28.220 rioting, we are told this doesn't spread the coronavirus. Actually, so-called public health
00:15:34.060 experts told us that it would help stop the coronavirus to protest white supremacy. I kid
00:15:40.440 you not, the 2,000 of them wrote a letter about this. And if you protest white supremacy, because
00:15:44.940 white supremacy exacerbates the virus, it's good, and never mind. But if you go protest any of the
00:15:51.080 lockdowns, or if you go to church, or if you go see your family at Thanksgiving, that will spread the
00:15:54.840 virus. That's just science. So let the marauding leftists loot your stores, burn down your country,
00:16:01.060 steal your stuff, break onto your property in St. Louis, and threaten you with weapons.
00:16:04.820 Don't you dare fight back, Mr. McCloskey. That's just science. And so Ron DeSantis came out and he
00:16:09.920 said, I don't think it's a scientific question. I think it's a political question. And I think I'm
00:16:13.400 going to pass a law that says that if looters and rioters come onto your lawn, you can shoot them.
00:16:19.420 That's a law, a simple law. I can't believe we actually have to make a law about that.
00:16:22.780 Seems to me, if people come into my property, if people are destroying businesses,
00:16:27.720 and then you fight back, that's clearly self-defense, defending your life and your property.
00:16:35.020 But the country has decayed in such a way that people don't see that anymore. So Ron DeSantis
00:16:40.820 taking the lead here. He's expanding the Stand Your Ground law. He is attempting to prevent, quote,
00:16:47.820 violent and disorderly assemblies by permitting violence against anyone involved in the, quote,
00:16:53.080 interruption or impairment of a business, which could include a burglary within 500 feet of, quote,
00:16:59.740 violent or disorderly assembly. Great idea. This is the kind of leadership we need.
00:17:04.520 Stop deferring to these so-called experts. They're not experts. They're just leftist political
00:17:10.360 activists who are telling you to shut up. They're trying to censor everybody now, and sometimes
00:17:15.260 they'll outright lie to do it, getting back to the presidential election. Because there's a lot
00:17:21.280 at stake right now in the presidential election. If Joe Biden pulls this one out, he's going to empower
00:17:26.780 this bureaucratic blob, the deep state, the administrative state. And all these little
00:17:32.800 experts are going to write lots of laws well past the halls of Congress. They're going to write it in
00:17:37.960 the EPA or in the FDA or wherever, in all the alphabet agencies, to run your life for you.
00:17:45.080 And they're going to try to steal it. If they don't win it outright, they'll try to steal it.
00:17:50.320 Maybe you heard this story. Actually, you did, because I mentioned it on the show the other day.
00:17:53.780 The other day, a postal worker comes out and alleges fraud, alleges that his supervisor told him,
00:17:59.740 pick up ballots that are illegal, deliver them to me. So then the Washington Post came out and said,
00:18:05.520 not true. This postal worker has recanted. This is fake news. Don't spread this story.
00:18:12.900 Well, now, I guess that was supposed to be the end of the story, except that the postal worker
00:18:17.260 came out and he said, I absolutely did not recant. And the Washington Post is lying about me.
00:18:22.620 I am right at this very moment looking at a article written, written by Washington Post.
00:18:30.280 It says that I fabricated the allegations of ballot tampering. I'm here to say that I did not recant
00:18:39.180 my statements. That did not happen. That is not what happened. And you will find out tomorrow.
00:18:46.960 So we'll find out. He's gonna release a longer video about this. But it didn't happen. Now,
00:18:52.640 I don't know the entirety of his story. But what I do know is something that I've known for a long
00:18:57.240 time, that the Washington Post is lying about it. The entire establishment press, which is tied into
00:19:03.040 the establishment academy, which is tied into the establishment popular culture, which is tied into
00:19:07.580 the establishment technology, which is tied into the established administrative government and
00:19:11.580 elected politicians. That is what is trying to win this election. It is not about Joe Biden. Joe
00:19:17.380 Biden is nothing. He is totally hollow. If you crack him open, you would find air leaking out. There
00:19:23.900 is nothing inside. He's been in empty suit his whole career. The same goes for Kamala Harris. She's
00:19:28.960 articulated more forcefully certain views. It's only because she's younger. I think she licks her
00:19:34.720 finger, puts it up in the air, figures out which way the wind is blowing. Okay, now there are
00:19:40.000 politicians on the left who have strong views. They will be pulling the strings. Joe Biden has
00:19:46.420 already admitted as much. He's moved so radically to the left just in the issue of abortion. He used
00:19:51.980 to oppose abortion. Now he not only doesn't oppose it, he supports taxpayer-funded abortion with no
00:19:58.620 restrictions. There are these strong-minded characters on the left. One of them would be Stacey Abrams,
00:20:06.080 who is just as much the governor of Georgia as Joe Biden is the president-elect. Stacey Abrams,
00:20:11.780 you remember her, she's come out and said, forget this moderation talk. Forget this talk about the
00:20:17.460 American ideals. What we need is identity politics. Identity politics is exactly who we are, and it's
00:20:24.360 exactly how we won. Identity politics. That's exactly how we won. Identity politics. That's how the left
00:20:32.580 went. Now the trouble, of course, with this is the left didn't just win the election. The left,
00:20:38.440 there was supposed to be a blue wave, remember? The left was supposed to take the Senate. Doesn't
00:20:41.540 look like they did that. And the left was supposed to win big seats in the House. Didn't do that. They
00:20:45.540 lost seats in the House. They may have lost a lot of seats in the House. And they were playing those
00:20:51.120 identity politics. Identity politics is fundamentally opposed to the American and broader Western political
00:21:01.940 tradition. Because what identity politics says is we need to set up essentially a sort of caste system
00:21:06.940 in America, and we're going to judge people based on their oppression, their perceived oppression,
00:21:13.700 whether that's real or imagined. And we're going to give people certain privileges. So for instance,
00:21:18.480 we're going to give black people certain privileges in university admissions and job hiring. And they're
00:21:24.300 going to get those privileges because of the legacy of slavery. Now you might ask, what about black
00:21:29.080 people who do not descend from slaves? Like, for instance, Barack Obama or Kamala Harris, both of
00:21:33.800 whom descended not from slaves, but from slave owners. Do they have a disadvantage? Are they oppressed?
00:21:39.760 Neither of those people seem particularly oppressed to me. One was the president. One might possibly
00:21:44.000 become the vice president. She's a sitting U.S. senator. I don't think, how are they oppressed?
00:21:49.620 Well, because of their identity. Not because of the facts of their life, but because of their identity.
00:21:56.500 Pits Americans against one another and pits all Americans against their own history. That's the
00:22:02.480 point. And identity politics, unfortunately, is very effective. And what's interesting is for all the
00:22:07.800 talk of white supremacy and white nationalism, these sorts of things, white people in America have a very,
00:22:12.680 very low racial consciousness. There was a report came out, I think, from Pew Research that showed
00:22:18.180 that for every major ethnic group, racial consciousness ranks above 50%. That is greater than 50% of
00:22:25.520 respondents said that their race is very important to their identity. For black people, this was the
00:22:30.420 strongest, followed by Hispanics and Asians. For white people, racial identity was 15%. It's way,
00:22:38.220 way, way, way, way, way low, which is perfectly fine by me. If you were to ask me, Michael, who are you?
00:22:43.300 What are you? What would I say? I'd say I'm Catholic. I'm American. I'm Sicilian. You know,
00:22:50.140 I get a little of that. I guess I've got some English in there. I'm a cigar smoker. I'm a joker.
00:22:56.220 I'm a smoker. I'm a midnight toker, right? I'd give, and white guy would be somewhere pretty far down
00:23:01.380 on the list. But what Stacey Abrams is saying is, no, you're a white guy, buddy. White is number one.
00:23:08.860 Your racial identity, which she is constructing for us, that has got to be number one.
00:23:15.340 Now, that kind of radical politics didn't win the last election. I mean,
00:23:19.900 when you say identity politics is how we won. How'd you win? The guy that you maybe elected
00:23:23.920 president is the oldest, whitest dude in America, right? So I don't, if that's the identity,
00:23:30.260 I guess, then the Democrats are going back to their roots. But in the future, perhaps it will
00:23:35.460 work. I mean, there is something to this idea. Michael Moore was saying this. Democrats need
00:23:40.340 to become socialists. They need to just admit that they're socialists, stop pretending they're
00:23:43.680 not socialists. And he's been harangued for this. But Michael Moore actually gets politics pretty well.
00:23:48.780 He was one of the few people on the left who called Trump. And there is a phenomenon going on
00:23:52.680 right now. My friend Spencer Clavin over at Claremont and the American Mind, he pointed this out to me
00:23:57.780 the other day. We were discussing the woke people and the red-pilled conservatives and the, you know,
00:24:03.200 the idea that the kind of establishment consensus on both the left and the right are cracking.
00:24:08.000 And he said, well, Michael, isn't it interesting that the two terms that we're using for people
00:24:12.760 who realize that the old consensus is broken and that some new kind of political coalition needs
00:24:17.220 to form, on the left we say they're woke and on the right we say they're red-pilled.
00:24:22.120 And both terms imply a kind of waking up out of a dreamlike state, waking up and seeing reality anew
00:24:30.120 for the first time. And I think there's something to that. I think Democrats have behaved like
00:24:34.360 socialists for a very long time and they just haven't admitted it to themselves. And I think
00:24:38.460 that conservatives have convinced themselves of a lot of sort of slogans and bumper stickers that
00:24:43.220 aren't necessarily true. And they tilt against windmills and they fight battles that no one
00:24:52.040 really cares about. You know, it's perfectly fine. The liberal establishment is perfectly fine to have
00:24:57.240 conservatives arguing for low taxes. Sometimes the liberal establishment doesn't even mind the low
00:25:01.120 taxes. But the minute you bring up culture, the minute you bring up mass migration, the minute you
00:25:05.920 bring up love of country even, all of a sudden that's a little bit too much, a little too red-pilled.
00:25:11.840 Now, we will find out how this election turns out pretty soon. Before we get into the mailbag,
00:25:19.240 there are some election updates. Right now we've found out there will be a hand recount in the
00:25:24.080 state of Georgia. You'll remember on election night, Trump was winning Georgia significantly.
00:25:28.320 And then, you know, just magically in the middle of the night, all those Biden votes came in.
00:25:32.400 So here we have Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, what a name,
00:25:36.520 announcing there will be a by-hand recount in every county in Georgia.
00:25:41.840 The next step in the current election process is getting the final county certifications in.
00:25:47.340 We'll then move to the Risk Limiting Audit, or RLA. At 1 p.m. today, I will make the official
00:25:55.200 designation of which race will be the subject of the RLA. At that time, I will designate that the RLA
00:26:01.240 will be the presidential race. With the margin being so close, it will require a full by-hand recount
00:26:09.480 in each county. This will help build confidence. It will be an audit, a recount, and a re-canvass
00:26:16.820 all at once. It will be a heavy lift, but we will work with the counties to get this done in time
00:26:22.980 for our state certification. Many of these workers will be working plenty of overtime.
00:26:29.540 We have all worked hard to bring fair and accurate counts to assure that the will of the voters is
00:26:35.140 reflected in the final count, and that every voter will have confidence in the outcome wherever,
00:26:42.120 whether their candidate won or lost.
00:26:44.260 So you heard that term RLA. RLA refers to Risk Limiting Audit. It's not enough to count the votes
00:26:51.560 again. If you've got fraudulent votes in there and you recount the fraudulent votes, you haven't
00:26:55.960 accomplished anything. There are votes in there that maybe weren't sent in by the people who said
00:27:00.800 that they were sending them in. There are votes in there that maybe were not sent in by people who,
00:27:04.820 I don't know, are alive. There are votes maybe in there that were sent in by people who aren't people.
00:27:10.080 You know, maybe they're the family's beloved pet or something. We've heard a few stories about that
00:27:13.700 during this election season. We just don't know. So it's not enough to recount. You've got to audit
00:27:18.700 those votes. Usually, you're going to hear political geniuses tell you that recounts don't matter that
00:27:24.940 much. Yeah, sure, they find fraud. There's always fraud, but it's not going to shift the vote that
00:27:29.060 much. That may be true, but we have never had widespread unsolicited mail-in ballots.
00:27:35.520 We're now talking about what? The numbers that the media are putting out are 74 million votes for
00:27:39.580 Biden. 71, 72 million votes for Trump. Those numbers are unprecedented. Now, maybe it's because
00:27:45.820 of huge voter turnout. Maybe it's because there's fraud. Maybe there was huge voter turnout, but some
00:27:50.840 of those votes were not eligible. We don't know. And so you've got to audit that vote. It's not just
00:27:54.520 happening in Georgia. We're getting great stories coming out of Arizona now as well. Okay, there's a
00:28:02.100 lot up in the air. There is a lot that is unsettled. And when things are so up in the air, it helps you to
00:28:08.260 have something very settled, very sturdy, like gold. You should check out Acre Gold. One problem
00:28:14.000 with investing in gold is that when you invest in gold, it's expensive. Bars of gold are extremely
00:28:20.680 expensive. Unless you're a bond villain, you probably don't have bars of gold lying all around
00:28:25.340 your home. But you can begin to invest in gold today with Acre Gold. The way they do it for as low
00:28:30.700 as 30 bucks a month, you mail in, and that goes into your account there at Acre Gold. And when your
00:28:35.920 account reaches the cost of that bar of gold, Acre Gold will ship that physical gold discreetly
00:28:41.660 to your door. It's an incredible financial product. It is changing the game on investing
00:28:46.900 in physical gold. I really like what they're doing. Acre designs their gold in California,
00:28:53.300 sources their gold from one of the largest mints in Switzerland. It's great. Industry-first
00:28:58.800 packaging that looks and feels more expensive than other gold alternatives. For me, I'm pretty
00:29:03.920 conservative when it comes to investing, but I have always enjoyed investing in precious
00:29:07.840 metals. So check it out. Acre also just recently introduced their new $100 per month subscription
00:29:12.740 for their 5-gram gold bar. You can visit getacregold.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. Start

00:29:41.520 So we got the recounts going on in Georgia. We've also got new numbers coming out of Arizona. So
00:29:46.140 very quickly before we get to mailbag, Joe Biden's lead in Arizona. Remember, Arizona was called for
00:29:52.020 Biden on election night by the ostensibly conservative network. Now, who knows how
00:29:58.540 conservative they are exactly if they're the first ones calling Arizona for Biden. But the Trump team
00:30:02.620 has been very confident from the beginning. We are going to do very, very well in Arizona. It turns
00:30:06.920 out it looks like that's correct. Joe Biden's lead in Arizona has now shrunk below 13,000 after
00:30:12.360 Maricopa County dropped some more ballots. According to Data Orbital, the county's latest report includes
00:30:20.080 50, almost 5,300 votes, 56.4% going to Trump, 41.8% going to Biden. Pinal County also posted some
00:30:27.840 more ballots on Tuesday, shows Trump taking 63.3% of the almost 1,000 ballots counted there.
00:30:34.780 There remain 46,700 ballots in Arizona. 22,400 of them come from Maricopa County. Maricopa is
00:30:44.220 pretty decidedly for Trump. Now, President Trump needs to take 64% in those remaining ballots
00:30:49.240 in order to win Arizona. That's a high number, but it is not outside the realm of possibility.
00:30:54.980 All pretty good news there, and that's why CNN is absolutely freaking out. We are being told now
00:31:01.460 that if President Trump does not concede, never mind the recounts, never mind the hand recount in
00:31:06.400 Georgia, recounts, counts still going on in Arizona, the investigations going on in Philadelphia,
00:31:11.680 never mind all that. Trump's got to concede, these demagogues tell us, because otherwise,
00:31:15.940 Trump will compromise American national security. Yes or no, are the actions that the president is
00:31:23.060 taking now putting this country in danger? Clearly, it's not great for our democracy.
00:31:32.000 Okay. It's fair. Let's put some teeth on that, if we can, for a moment, because there are sitting
00:31:39.060 members of Congress who were around in their positions at the time of 9-11, and the 9-11 Commission
00:31:44.800 report specifically cited the shortened transition after the 2000 election for having an impact
00:31:51.060 on national security. I'm quoting here, it hampered the new administration in identifying, recruiting,
00:31:57.120 clearing, and obtaining Senate confirmation of key appointees. The fact is, we have experience
00:32:03.660 for how shortened transitions make a difference in national security. Why are we hearing from
00:32:10.280 Republicans about that, granting that potential danger? Yeah. Why are these Republicans doing
00:32:18.520 that? I mean, it's just so awful that they're compromising national security. I don't remember
00:32:22.280 CNN raising this concern when Al Gore was dragging the 2000 election out for 38 days, based on nothing,
00:32:29.540 by the way, based on absolutely nothing compared to what we've got now. I guess if Democrats were
00:32:34.100 so concerned about this, maybe they should not have refused to allow Republican poll watchers in
00:32:39.360 Philadelphia. Because if they didn't do that, if they didn't illegally refuse to allow Republican
00:32:45.480 poll watchers and ignore a court order, then maybe we wouldn't have to drag this out so long.
00:32:50.480 Maybe they shouldn't have forced this widespread unsolicited mail-in ballots, which are vulnerable
00:32:55.900 to fraud. Maybe they shouldn't have done that, but they did. So unfortunately,
00:32:58.820 we're not going to unilaterally disarm Democrats. Maybe the most scandalizing aspect of this entire
00:33:06.040 election process, maybe of 2020, is that you have America's enemies around the world
00:33:13.840 parroting Democratic talking points to attack America. When you hear China, when you hear North
00:33:22.680 Korea, when you hear Saudi Arabia, when you hear Russia talking about the United States,
00:33:28.280 they are parroting Democratic talking points. This from the UN Human Rights Council. Don't you love,
00:33:34.360 by the way, that China is on the UN Human Rights Council? China, which kills millions of their own
00:33:41.700 citizens, which forced sterilization, forced abortions on their own citizens. China's on the Human Rights
00:33:48.180 Council at the United Nations, which, as I've mentioned many times before, would make a wonderful
00:33:53.100 luxury Trump apartment building on the East River. For some reason, we still have the UN standing
00:33:57.260 there. But I know that Joe Biden calls himself the president-elect. He's just as much the president-elect
00:34:02.420 as I am. And I promise you, in a Knowles administration, we're getting luxury condos where the UN stands.
00:34:07.600 Here is what China had to say about the United States. It sounds an awful lot like Democrats.
00:34:13.040 Madam President, the Chinese delegation wishes to recommend to the US, one, root out the systematic
00:34:19.320 racism, address widespread police brutality, and combat discrimination against African and Asian
00:34:24.880 Americans. Second, urge politicians to respect people's rights to life and health, and stop
00:34:30.080 politicizing and stigmatizing COVID-19 pandemic. Three, take holistic measures to eliminate rich,
00:34:36.160 poor, politicalization, and social inequality. Four, combat the increasingly severe religious
00:34:40.320 intolerant and xenophobic violence. Five, stop incarcerating migrants, including migrant children,
00:34:45.700 and guarantee the rights of migrants. Six, address proliferation of guns and guarantee people's
00:34:49.860 rights to life. Seven, coercive unilateral benefits. And eight, stop torture and to opposite
00:34:59.080 military intervention in other countries and stop killing civilians. Nine, stop interfering for
00:35:05.080 political reasons in other countries' international affairs under the pretext of human rights.
00:35:08.560 Thank you, Madam President. Listening to that cynical enemy of the United States,
00:35:14.680 reading the litany of offenses that the United States is allegedly committing, not committing in
00:35:20.660 reality, but is allegedly committing, you would think that that guy were running for the Democratic
00:35:25.060 nomination for president. And this is a sad fact about our politics right now that one cannot ignore.
00:35:32.020 I mentioned this before the election. The difference in the election is that Trump supporters wave the
00:35:37.940 American flag and Biden supporters burn the American flag. Well, but Michael, some Biden supporters
00:35:43.540 aren't burning the flag. Sure. First of all, all the people burning the flag support Biden over Trump.
00:35:48.340 But beyond that, the people who are disrespecting the American flag, many more people than who are
00:35:54.860 burning them, the people who won't stand for the national anthem, the people who will not give reverence to the
00:36:01.360 flag, star-spangled banner. They're Democrats. They're people who support Joe Biden. The people
00:36:07.160 who read the 1619 Project and say our country is rotten to the core, rotten from the very beginning.
00:36:11.860 They support Joe Biden. That's a big difference. And that, to me, is a real national security problem.
00:36:17.880 When you have half the country that despises the country itself, that is a real security problem.
00:36:24.400 Speaking of security, it's not just a political question. It's a personal question as well,
00:36:27.900 which is why I've got to tell you about Ring and how much I love Ring. You know, Ring has been a
00:36:32.360 sponsor of this show for years at this point. I've given Ring out to my friends as housewarming
00:36:37.540 gifts. And I'm so excited because I'm moving to Nashville. As you can see, I'm not in my studio
00:36:42.100 right now. I'm kind of halfway out and I'm going to be in my Nashville studio on Monday. I've got a
00:36:47.420 great house that I'm going to be in. It's in LA. You know, you can live in a hovel. You can live in a
00:36:52.580 little shoebox. Or in Tennessee, you can, like, have acres and acres and just be living in this
00:36:57.760 beautiful American paradise. And so, you know, I'm going to have a house. And I'm so excited that
00:37:02.980 I've got Ring. Sweet little Elise is a good shot, but much better to be able to see, hear, and speak
00:37:07.900 with whoever's at your door from anywhere in the world. You can be in your bedroom. You can be at

00:37:43.440 media have done over just the past week and a half or so, and it's only going to get worse.
00:37:48.520 You've got to replace the media. We got a lot of exciting changes at the Daily Wire,
00:37:53.220 as I just said. We're all moving to Nashville. The other thing that's pretty fun, we're bringing
00:37:56.400 our friend Candace Owens with us. We've got an extremely cool show that we're working on with
00:38:00.720 Candace. It's going to have a live studio audience. I hope to be able to meet many of you when we do
00:38:05.640 these live audiences. That's always very fun. COVID shut us down. Well, we're not going to take that
00:38:10.720 anymore. We've got some great cultural work coming up. We're going to be into the movie business.
00:38:14.720 We're going to be into a whole lot of other businesses. Be a part of it. Join us for All

00:38:23.560 community, not just the hosts and the writers, but all of the other elite All Access members,
00:38:28.680 something I always love doing, so much to do. And of course, you get the Leftist Tears Tumblr.
00:38:32.880 Head on over to dailywire.com. We'll be right back with the mailbag.
00:38:36.140 Welcome back. I'm always running late on the mailbag. So first question from Sarah. Hello,
00:38:53.340 Mr. Knowles. Recently, my boyfriend and I got in a fight about me getting a COVID test.
00:38:59.380 Okay. I like where this is going. I had just a stuffy nose and felt like it wasn't necessary to
00:39:04.580 get one for a few reasons. One, I always get a small cold during the change of seasons. Yeah,
00:39:08.080 true for most of us. Two, if I went and got a test, I would have had to stay out of work for
00:39:12.140 however long it would take for results to come back, which means that I wouldn't get paid for
00:39:16.700 those days of missing work. Three, I haven't been in contact with anyone sick and don't want to get
00:39:21.740 on some sort of watch list. Fair enough. Was it irresponsible to not get a test or is COVID
00:39:27.100 something that has to be accepted and lived with? Any of your thoughts would be appreciated. This is a
00:39:30.720 topic of frustration for me and my boyfriend. Thanks. Tell your boyfriend to man up. This is
00:39:36.360 so pathetic. It is so pathetic that you have to be the voice of reason. Typically when there are
00:39:43.400 arguments between boyfriends and girlfriends, I don't want to sound sexist or anything here,
00:39:47.900 but typically the more emotional party to that argument tends sometimes to be the female part and
00:39:56.520 the men tend to be a little more grounded, but here it's completely reversed because leftism has
00:40:02.860 thrown our culture upside down. Of course you shouldn't have to get a COVID test because you've
00:40:08.840 got a stuffy nose. First of all, see if you've got the symptoms of COVID. Second of all, see if you're
00:40:13.460 at risk or you're around people who are at risk. Third of all, you don't need to end your life because
00:40:18.640 of what amounts to a very, very virulent flu just about, right? Especially for people who are in
00:40:26.020 what I imagine to be your age range. Second, tell your boyfriend if he wants to boss you around,
00:40:31.380 he's got to become your husband. No, don't tell him that. That's not, that's not a good way to
00:40:35.500 start a marriage, but tell him to, you know, grow a spine and stop living in fear of this virus.
00:40:42.000 Be prudent. Fine. Don't go, you know, maybe don't like go lick your, your elderly sick grandfather.
00:40:48.540 Okay. Use some caution here, but you don't need to leave, live your life in constant fear of a virus
00:40:54.940 that has been extraordinarily politicized and which by the way, is going to be with us
00:40:58.800 in perpetuity, right? That's how these viruses work. The World Health Organization estimates,
00:41:03.900 and this is a month old estimate at this point, World Health Organization estimates that one in
00:41:07.640 10 people on planet earth have already gotten COVID on earth. The virus has only been around
00:41:14.360 for something like nine or 10 months. We're all going to get it. We're going to get it. It's going
00:41:20.460 to be around. Maybe there's a vaccine. Maybe the vaccine will work. Maybe people won't take it.
00:41:24.260 It's going to be around. Have you ever gotten the flu? Do you get the flu shot? It's here.
00:41:28.460 There was a study out of Chicago showed one in five Chicagoans, one in five, 20% got COVID within the
00:41:35.260 first, you know, nine, 10 months of it existing. It's going around. Learn to live with it. Tell your
00:41:40.640 boyfriend to stop living in fear or get a new boyfriend. I don't know. I don't want to go that
00:41:45.900 far. Maybe he's a nice guy, but come on, tell him to quote Don Corleone when he's talking to
00:41:52.520 Johnny Fontaine in his office. You're going to act like a man. What's the matter with you?
00:41:57.260 From Genevieve Hacker, dear Michael, for months now, the media has been predicting that Trump will
00:42:02.120 not allow the peaceful transfer of power after the election. Has Trump painted himself into a corner
00:42:07.460 now that he is, by their standards, refusing to concede the election and fulfilling their predictions?
00:42:12.440 Also, do you think there's a chance the courts will rule in favor of Biden,
00:42:15.500 even if there is evidence that Trump actually won, just to avoid the inevitable rioting if
00:42:20.160 they declare Trump won? Thanks. Love the show. Of course, the media painted this picture. They
00:42:26.080 try to do it all the time. You remember they did this in 2016. They said, there is evidence of
00:42:31.040 Russian interference. Russia wants Trump to win and then Trump wins. And they say, see, because
00:42:36.880 we made those predictions before, now we're going to use that as a predicate to investigate him and
00:42:41.680 try to stage a coup d'etat and throw him out of office. Of course, that was the plan the whole time.
00:42:45.320 And they're doing that now. They're saying, if Trump wins, then it's not democracy. You know,
00:42:49.280 it's amazing with Democrats. Whenever the people go out and vote and they don't vote for the
00:42:54.460 Democrats, that's not democracy. That's a threat to democracy. But when they go out and they vote
00:42:59.000 for Democrats, that is democracy. Seems like kind of a loaded game. Who cares what their standards are?
00:43:04.780 I don't care. I don't care. I don't care what CNN says. I don't care what Fox News says for that
00:43:08.500 matter. You know, Fox historically has been better than CNN. But if people are going to push a narrative
00:43:16.360 that is politically slanted and untrue, what do I care? It doesn't affect me at all. There is a
00:43:23.060 legal process in this country for conducting elections. President Trump is engaging in that
00:43:27.620 legal process. And you may well be right. There may be a world in which they uncover lots of voter
00:43:32.420 fraud, but either they can't prove it because it's very difficult to prove, or they do prove it. And
00:43:36.320 the courts go squishy and say, well, I just, we don't want to have more riots. So sorry, Biden's
00:43:42.100 the president. That might happen. That's, I guess that's the legal process. We're going to let that
00:43:46.100 legal process play out. And I don't, I don't give two wits what CNN says about it from, from Whitney.
00:43:53.160 How's that for Providence? That's see, all nature is, but art unknown to thee, all chance direction,
00:43:59.400 which thou canst not see. Whitney says, Michael, as a practicing Catholic, I am dismayed
00:44:03.740 by the USCCB, that's Council of Catholic Bishops, their ringing endorsement of President-elect Joe
00:44:10.440 Biden. According to canon law, he's already subject to automatic excommunication,
00:44:15.180 lighte sententiae, due to his stance on abortion legislation alone, to say nothing of the legal
00:44:20.960 pressures put on the faithful by his policies and those of his political affiliates. Oh, you mean
00:44:24.600 how he sued nuns because they wouldn't fund abortion drugs and already promises to sue
00:44:29.120 nuns again? Yeah, yeah, that's, that's some pressure. That's not very Catholic to me, no
00:44:34.300 matter how devout people say that he is. However, due to the public nature of his office and the
00:44:38.600 confusion his professed Catholicism causes the faithful, propriety would suggest that public
00:44:43.100 and official excommunication is necessary. As stated in the code of canon law, it is a prescribed
00:44:47.980 medicinal penalty with the ultimate goal of repentance on the part of Mr. Biden and reconciliation
00:44:52.600 with the Holy Catholic Church. My, my question is twofold. That was a long introduction to your
00:44:56.380 question, but all good points. First, what do you think the chances are of this happening? Second,
00:45:00.680 what methods would increase the chances of this happening? It should happen. Absolutely. Joe Biden
00:45:04.860 is in a state of grave sin. The, well, the sin of supporting abortion in the way that he is
00:45:10.520 and the sin of scandal for doing it. That's why he was denied communion. The, he was denied the
00:45:15.800 Eucharist at a church in, I believe, North Carolina. And no matter what the USCCB says,
00:45:21.060 Joe Biden is in a very grave state and, and support for Joe Biden and his political activities
00:45:29.680 imperils the souls of people who support him. That's just the way it is. I once spoke to a
00:45:35.200 wonderfully erudite priest and I mentioned my blank book, Reasons to Vote for Democrats,
00:45:40.060 a comprehensive guide. And he said, Michael, I think I'm going to plagiarize you and title it
00:45:43.820 the wisdom of the US Council of Catholic Bishops, a comprehensive guide. And I think
00:45:48.160 it would be much the same content. What are the chances that they are going to excommunicate
00:45:53.280 him? Zero. I mean, hope springs eternal in the human breast, but not great. And how can we
00:46:00.040 pressure this to happen? I once had another priest friend of mine tell me the best way to pressure
00:46:04.840 bishops is not to write them sternly worded letters. They don't care not to even, you know,
00:46:09.200 and there's something sort of, you can, you can publicly criticize and publicly, publicly challenge
00:46:14.020 a bishop, but you don't want to do it in a way that is disrespectful of the office because, you know,
00:46:18.300 we are, we are governed in a particular structure in the Catholic church. But you can, of course you
00:46:24.100 can criticize them. I mean, you know, Dante Alighieri put two popes in hell face down with flames burning
00:46:30.520 the souls of their feet for eternity. So, you know, you can make criticisms. However, what's more
00:46:35.400 effective? Stop giving money to their charities. The bishops have lots of charities, some of which have
00:46:39.940 been used as slush funds for lots of nefarious activities. Don't give them money. I, I no longer
00:46:44.120 give money to bishops funds and bishops charities. I give to my church. I'll give to other Catholic
00:46:50.740 charities, but the ones that are run by the bishops, I don't give to because unfortunately the USCCB
00:46:55.740 doesn't seem to serve its flock very well. From Julie, perhaps a dumb question. You know, I was once
00:47:01.100 told by South Park that there are no dumb questions, only dumb people. But I suspect that your question
00:47:06.320 involves neither of those things. Why do we have any reason to believe that a recount would yield
00:47:11.000 a more honest vote tally than the original tally, considering the entities that are storing the
00:47:15.480 ballots are the same entities that counted the first time? Aren't the physical ballots in question
00:47:19.640 vulnerable to tampering or tossing between last week and the recount activities? Yes, that's a big
00:47:23.780 worry. This is why you need to audit those votes. It takes much longer, but at least you're seeing
00:47:28.280 Georgia do that. Hopefully the other places will too. The other issue is glitches on the voting
00:47:33.040 systems, the ones that are electronic. You saw this in Michigan. There was a glitch that sent a
00:47:38.960 lot of votes over to Joe Biden, thousands of them. Now this glitch was caught beforehand, but that
00:47:44.580 software is used in 47 counties. So how many other glitches were there? That's another area that will
00:47:51.360 need to be audited, and I hope that we have the opportunity to do that. Still, you know, there could be
00:47:56.380 a lot of issues. During the Florida recount, during Bush v. Gore, one of the issues was hanging chads. So
00:48:01.800 you would punch the ticket, you'd punch the ballot, and the chad had to come all the way out. If the
00:48:06.360 chad was hanging, you were not allowed to count that ballot. And so you would have poll workers.
00:48:10.680 I was speaking to Senator Cruz, who was actually a lawyer during the Florida recount, and he was
00:48:15.160 saying you'd see people there poking the chads out with their fingers. You know, I mean, this became
00:48:19.540 a big issue. So obviously there can be some issues during the counting itself, but the Trump campaign
00:48:24.820 needs to fight as hard as they can. And there are ways to get at least a more accurate count, if not a
00:48:29.760 perfect count. From Bennett, good morning, Michael. In these hectic times, I have recently begun
00:48:35.360 reconnecting with my Christian faith. I was raised Christian, but I'm now non-denominational. However,
00:48:39.640 I've been surprised to find that in my hiatus, the faith-based online world has been hijacked by
00:48:45.380 left-leaning megachurches who seem to lack a certain theological depth. Who are some conservative
00:48:51.060 voices in the church that I might find to follow online? I preferably am looking for churches that
00:48:56.320 hold true on issues like abortion and eternal conscious torment, as well as not catering to
00:49:01.580 the whims of social justice movements like BLM. Yes, I too long for those eternal conscious
00:49:07.880 torments. No, I'm joking. I'm actually very pleased to hear that you are taking hell seriously. People
00:49:13.320 don't take hell seriously at all anymore. And they imagine a God without wrath leading a people
00:49:19.120 without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross.
00:49:23.860 Not my own words, but those of a more sophisticated theologian. I would recommend
00:49:28.640 my favorite priest that I recommend you read and listen to his homilies every week is Father George
00:49:34.680 Rutler. He's a friend of mine. He's my priest. He did my wedding. And he's just brilliant. I think
00:49:40.140 he's just the most brilliant priest alive today. He's written about a zillion books. That name is
00:49:45.260 George W. Rutler. And I think you can find his homilies on Apple Podcasts. Strongly recommend him.
00:49:51.200 Who else do I like? I love Patrick Madrid. He has a daily radio show on Relevant Radio. It's a call-in
00:49:57.640 show. It's great. He's super smart. Really, really good to, you know, he's really accessible in terms
00:50:05.440 of popular apologetics. He's really smart. Scott Hahn writes a lot of great books. Gosh, there's so many.
00:50:12.020 Maybe I'll tweet a list or something. Those three are good to start with, though.
00:50:14.480 Okay, let's see. I'll try to take one more. From Alexa.
00:50:18.720 Michael, after listening to your show today, I want to get your take on something.
00:50:22.100 My boyfriend, this is, I see a theme today. And now I feel like I'm going to be interfering in
00:50:27.360 people's relationships. And I'm going to have some angry boyfriend come and punch me in the
00:50:31.140 street somewhere. Fortunately, I'll be in Nashville, though. So we'll at least be well-armed.
00:50:35.820 Back to your question. My boyfriend and I were recently discussing the left-slash-mainstream
00:50:39.920 media's outright dismissal of the lawsuits the Trump campaign filed in several states.
00:50:45.440 We're both attorneys, and we found it comical and frustrating that the MSM's legal analysts
00:50:50.220 have been preaching that there is no evidence contained in the Trump campaign's declaratory
00:50:54.740 judgment petitions, only allegations. If we made those arguments to a judge, we would be
00:50:59.760 laughed out of the courtroom. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how the MSM can grossly misrepresent
00:51:05.680 how litigation and the law work and get away with it. Thanks and love the show.
00:51:09.420 They can get away with it in the realm of law because they get away with it with every
00:51:14.080 other realm, too. The mainstream media misrepresent everything. Everything. That is why they are the
00:51:22.460 fake news. It is not because they don't sometimes get a story right. It's not because some reporter
00:51:28.140 doesn't sometimes do something right. It's because they are not the news. They are not doing what they
00:51:32.480 say that they're doing. Drew Clavin always brings up this point where you're reading the newspaper
00:51:37.460 and you think, oh, that's an interesting story about Iraq. Oh, that's an interesting story about
00:51:42.780 business taxes. Oh, that's an interesting story about the Yankees. Wait a second. I know about the
00:51:48.120 Yankees, and that story is complete BS. Oh, well, on to the next one. And so, you know, the one thing you
00:51:53.760 know about that they're writing about, you say, that's not true. But then you take their word for it on
00:51:57.240 so many other issues. This is what happens on law. This is what happens in science, right?
00:52:02.680 How does the MSM pontificate about science, and they say one thing one day, they say completely
00:52:07.840 the opposite the next day? It's because their goal is not to talk about science. Same thing with
00:52:12.000 politics. They get everything about politics wrong. You know I hate to brag. You know I hate to say I
00:52:16.320 told you so. I was asked a month before the election to give my predictions. And I don't give
00:52:21.100 predictions generally, but it was the end of a long interview, and my friend Matt Fradd asked me about
00:52:25.700 this. And I said, okay, off the top of my head, here's what I think. 60-40 chance Trump probably
00:52:30.840 gets it, but it's going to be contested. And, you know, there's going to be this issue where
00:52:34.660 you're going to have Bush v. Gore times three or times five, and you're going to get recounts in
00:52:38.140 those states. And, you know, it'll be decided by the courts. All right. And I don't think I'm
00:52:41.840 Nostradamus. I just think it was pretty clear if you looked at how the Democrats were following the
00:52:46.860 legal process. And Nate Silver and all the other genius pollsters in the mainstream media and the
00:52:53.880 Fox News decision desk and CNN. They all made all these crazy predictions, none of which were true.
00:52:59.320 They were all completely off. Even if Biden wins, they were completely off. Because they exist to
00:53:05.140 preserve the progressive establishment, which increasingly has not very much to do with reality.
00:53:14.340 We'll see how that legal process plays out. Either way, I think that system is coming down.
00:53:18.160 That's our show. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
