00:00:37.660 43 people were shot last weekend in Chicago, three fatally,

00:00:42.320 continuing a long-standing crime trend in a city that has been continuously and exclusively run by Democrats since 1931.

00:00:50.240 The current mayor has not done anything about it,

00:00:52.920 even as shootings have spiked 50% over the past year, 5-0.

00:00:57.400 But now, the current Democrat mayor insists she has finally identified the problem.

00:01:03.860 What is it?

00:01:05.020 Take a guess.

00:01:06.120 What do you think?

00:01:06.700 Is the problem corruption?

00:01:08.740 No, no.

00:01:10.540 Lawlessness?

00:01:11.340 Not a chance.

00:01:13.180 Bad education?

00:01:14.360 Nope.

00:01:14.980 Do you know what the problem is?

00:01:16.580 It's the answer to every one of these social issues.

00:01:20.960 Racism.

00:01:21.480 Ooh.

00:01:23.060 A radical racialized regime is letting criminals off the hook from Chicago to New York, 0.74

00:01:28.320 indoctrinating kids into hating their country,

00:01:30.920 and even attempting to replace the American flag,

00:01:34.660 something that I called just about three, four days ago.

00:01:37.840 Happy Juneteenth.

00:01:39.360 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:01:40.240 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:01:48.200 Welcome back to the show.

00:01:49.220 Well, my favorite comment from Friday is from Rachel Williams,

00:01:53.080 who points out that if we're always healing,

00:01:56.220 then we are choosing to remain sick.

00:01:58.300 This is so true.

00:01:59.520 People who say we need to heal.

00:02:01.560 We need to, you know, we just need to come out, come here, talk about it.

00:02:04.860 We need to heal.

00:02:05.660 It's the same sort of people who go to therapy for 40 years,

00:02:10.260 but never solve any problem.

00:02:12.400 The idea is that there's no end.

00:02:15.460 There's no cure.

00:02:16.280 There's no victory.

00:02:17.100 This is what Barack Obama actually told us about the very day of Juneteenth,

00:02:21.380 which is so much in the news,

00:02:22.580 and we'll get to it in a second because the libs completely proved me right about it, 1.00

00:02:25.640 like within 48 hours.

00:02:27.760 But the idea is there is no victory.

00:02:29.620 There is no win.

00:02:30.440 There is no healing.

00:02:31.320 There is no cure.

00:02:32.040 However, it's the perpetual revolution that never stops.

00:02:36.900 It is never completed, which is how the left has totally dominated the culture.

00:02:42.060 It's how they control our words and control our minds.

00:02:44.460 The subject of a new book that is coming out tomorrow, baby.

00:02:48.180 This is the last chance to pre-order.

00:02:50.160 Get your signed first edition copy.

00:02:52.400 The last chance at Premier Collectibles.

00:02:55.000 You know, one great way to listen to the book is because you can read it, obviously,

00:03:01.640 and you can get the Kindle, but you can listen to it with your Raycon wireless earbuds.

00:03:06.100 A pair of Raycon wireless earbuds in your ears can make all the difference no matter what you are

00:03:10.440 listening to.

00:03:11.200 You get crisp, clear, powerful beats at half the price of other premium audio brands.

00:03:15.760 Raycons look great.

00:03:16.880 They feel even better.

00:03:17.660 They come in a cool range of colors.

00:03:19.540 They've got customizable gel tips included for a customizable, comfortable in-ear fit.

00:03:25.360 And they're built to go wherever you go with quick and seamless Bluetooth pairing and a

00:03:28.700 compact charging case.

00:03:29.620 I'm just going to be very blunt about this.

00:03:31.960 They are a superior product to the competitors on the market, okay?

00:03:36.300 I know, look, you don't care about music.

00:03:38.220 You don't, maybe you care about listening to your favorite podcast, for instance, but

00:03:41.080 I know what you really want is to listen to your favorite new audio book that's about

00:03:44.120 to come out.

00:03:45.000 You're going to want to do that with Raycons.

00:03:47.020 Raycons offering 15% off all their products for my listeners.

00:03:49.960 Here's what you got to do.

00:03:51.460 Go to buyraycon.com slash Knowles.

00:03:53.140 There you will get 15% off your entire Raycon order.

00:03:56.200 Such a good deal.

00:03:56.960 You're going to want to grab a pair and a spare.

00:03:58.740 That's 15% off at buyraycon.com slash Knowles.

00:04:02.080 Buyraycon.com slash Knowles.

00:04:04.940 Racism is specifically anti-black racism, by the way, because that, according to the left,

00:04:10.180 is the only real racism that there is.

00:04:12.440 There's no such thing as anti-white racism. 0.99

00:04:15.480 Anti-black racism is the cause of all the problems in Chicago. 0.78

00:04:18.860 So says Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who declared on Thursday that the systemic racism 0.91

00:04:27.200 in Chicago is a, quote, public health crisis.

00:04:30.860 The city needs to divert $10 million in grants from the CDC, grants that were meant to fight

00:04:36.820 coronavirus, to establish, quote, healthy Chicago equity zones.

00:04:40.960 Quote, at almost every point in our city's history, sadly, racism has taken a devastating

00:04:46.260 toll on the public health and well-being of our residents of color, and particularly those

00:04:51.220 who are black. 0.97

00:04:54.460 Chicago has a lot of problems. 0.99

00:04:57.920 Over the past year during coronavirus, during the lockdowns, I should say, shootings and murders

00:05:04.320 are up 50%, 50%, 5-0, racism, right? 0.99

00:05:09.500 It's all white racists going out and hunting down poor, innocent black men. 0.99

00:05:14.420 It's all Trump-supporting white men in MAGA hats yelling, it's MAGA country on the south 0.99

00:05:20.480 side of Chicago, while poor old Jussie Smollett just tries to eat his Subway salad, right? 1.00

00:05:26.300 Is that what it is?

00:05:27.120 Well, it is a lot like that, in that those two alleged white Trump supporters were giant

00:05:31.820 Nigerian guys who were hired by Smollett himself.

00:05:34.440 If you look at the crime statistics in Chicago, what percentage of the victims are black?

00:05:42.500 75%. 0.75

00:05:42.940 Okay, that's pretty bad. 0.93

00:05:45.120 75% of the victims are black. 0.94

00:05:47.400 So what? 0.92

00:05:48.020 75% of the perpetrators are white?

00:05:49.820 No. 0.99

00:05:50.460 Turns out when you look at the killers, 71.3% are black. 0.98

00:05:54.940 So almost to say a little bit less. 0.66

00:05:56.860 So do white people make up the rest of that?

00:05:58.900 No.

00:05:59.140 Of the victims, 18.9% are Hispanic.

00:06:02.700 Of the killers, 24.6% are Hispanic.

00:06:07.120 So that's interesting.

00:06:08.140 That's kind of making up for the other numbers.

00:06:10.240 And then how about white people?

00:06:12.160 Of the victims, 4.6% are white.

00:06:15.080 Of the killers, 3.5% are white. 0.97

00:06:19.300 So significantly less likely to be a killer than to be killed if you are white in Chicago. 0.83

00:06:25.860 Racism has nothing to do with it. 1.00

00:06:30.520 Unless all of these black murderers are anti-black racists. 1.00

00:06:35.480 These Hispanic murderers are anti-Hispanic racists. 1.00

00:06:38.940 Probably not. 0.99

00:06:40.120 Racism is, as we have said before on this show, just a stand-in for very shallow thinking progressives,

00:06:46.840 for secularists, to be able to make sense of the fact of sin.

00:06:51.120 We know that sin pervades the world.

00:06:54.160 Original sin is not some untested theory.

00:06:57.380 It is just an observable fact.

00:06:59.480 We are broken.

00:07:00.760 We all fall short of the glory of God.

00:07:02.440 We all do bad stuff.

00:07:04.420 And because we all do bad stuff, there's a lot of bad stuff in the world.

00:07:07.880 But we can't make sense of that anymore.

00:07:09.860 So the only evil that we can ever talk about is racism.

00:07:14.320 Even though there's just no, it's insane.

00:07:16.520 It's insane to say that Chicago's problems are because of racism. 0.98

00:07:21.980 That 72% of killers, 71.3% of killers in Chicago are black. 0.98

00:07:27.460 Because of what? 0.98

00:07:28.080 Because of secret self-hating racism?

00:07:30.760 Doesn't make sense.

00:07:31.260 It's not just Chicago.

00:07:33.560 What this is leading to is a very perverse system of injustice, whereby the imaginary problem

00:07:41.000 of systemic racism, the completely made-up, contrived problem of systemic racism, don't

00:07:46.900 forget the only legal racism in this country is against whites and Asians in university

00:07:51.440 admissions.

00:07:52.160 It's called affirmative action.

00:07:53.860 There are other things that come out of that, other sort of grants and other legal issues.

00:07:59.340 But it all goes in that direction.

00:08:01.260 It does not go in the other direction.

00:08:04.100 But because we have this bizarre distortion of reality, this misperception, we have even

00:08:10.320 greater injustice.

00:08:11.240 So for instance, during the BLM riots of 2020, many people were caught on video.

00:08:17.700 There's cameras all over the place in this society.

00:08:19.520 They were caught on video looting, rioting, burning things to the ground, hurting people, killing

00:08:26.200 people.

00:08:28.180 And now they're getting off the hook.

00:08:29.580 If you were a BLM looter, not if you're a conservative guy, if you're a BLM looter, you get off the 0.98

00:08:37.960 hook.

00:08:38.180 According to the data, 118 arrests were made in the Bronx during the worst of the looting

00:08:43.120 in early June.

00:08:43.840 You know, the mostly peaceful looting.

00:08:45.880 Justice for George, we're going to go steal some Puma sneakers.

00:08:49.600 I guess Nike.

00:08:50.140 I don't know.

00:08:51.400 118 arrests.

00:08:52.600 Since that time, the Bronx district attorney and the courts have dismissed most of the cases.

00:09:00.660 Just dismiss them.

00:09:02.440 You bust down some window, you go and steal some guy's property.

00:09:06.760 Odds are you're going to get off the hook.

00:09:08.340 73 cases completely dismissed.

00:09:11.680 18 cases remain open.

00:09:13.720 19 convictions, but not 19 convictions for the crimes they actually committed.

00:09:18.580 19 convictions for lesser crimes like trespassing, which includes no jail time.

00:09:24.860 Not just in the Bronx.

00:09:26.420 In Manhattan, there were 485 arrests during the BLM riots, specifically on charges of looting

00:09:32.920 of those cases.

00:09:35.020 Or I suppose not for charge.

00:09:36.400 They didn't charge them.

00:09:37.140 So this was arrests for looting.

00:09:39.460 222 of these cases of the 485 were dropped, just completely dropped.

00:09:44.040 73 resulted in convictions, again, for lesser counts like trespassing with no jail time.

00:09:50.780 Another 40 cases involved juveniles.

00:09:53.160 They were not really dealt with.

00:09:54.660 They were sent to family court.

00:09:56.320 And then 128 cases remain open.

00:09:58.520 128 of 485 even have the chance of remaining open.

00:10:04.120 We need to be merciful, Michael.

00:10:05.920 There are too many people in prison.

00:10:07.620 Well, I don't, you know, if crime is spiking up, if shootings are up 50% in Chicago, that

00:10:12.980 doesn't tell me that we have an over-incarceration problem.

00:10:15.740 That tells me we have an under-incarceration problem.

00:10:18.240 Tells me criminal justice reform means putting more of these criminals in prison for longer

00:10:22.720 periods of time.

00:10:24.500 Giving harsher penalties to these people to discourage the crime.

00:10:28.340 But okay, let's go with what you're saying.

00:10:31.960 You, hypothetical liberal.

00:10:34.080 You are telling me that we, in mercy and compassion, we need to let these people off really easily.

00:10:40.840 And even if you go in and smash things up and steal stuff and really invade people's

00:10:45.140 space and threaten their lives, we're just going to charge you with trespassing.

00:10:48.120 Okay.

00:10:48.300 Now, tell me about the Capitol riot.

00:10:52.520 Tell me, because just from my vantage, what do I know?

00:10:56.100 What do I know?

00:10:56.980 I'm looking at six months, at least, of BLM terrorists burning down cities across the 1.00

00:11:02.480 country, killing many people, injuring many more people, stealing people's stuff and ruining

00:11:08.980 their lives.

00:11:10.040 And setting buildings on fire.

00:11:13.060 They mostly get their cases dismissed.

00:11:16.260 And when they do have to deal with criminal penalties, it's trespassing and they don't

00:11:19.120 go to jail.

00:11:21.160 Now, fast forward, you go to the Capitol riot, which went on for a few hours on January 6th,

00:11:26.500 and you get some kooky people in helmets and horns making a mess of Nancy Pelosi's desk and

00:11:32.940 jumping, jumping up and down and walking out with her lectern.

00:11:36.280 And those guys are going to rot in prison.

00:11:38.280 They are going to have the book thrown at them for committing far lesser offenses than

00:11:43.660 the BLM terrorists who are completely getting off the hook. 0.82

00:11:46.800 Does that seem like justice to you?

00:11:48.680 It does seem like justice to the perverse, racialized radicals who believe that there 1.00

00:11:55.440 ought to be a double standard.

00:11:57.220 If you are a leftist, you should face fewer consequences for committing worse crimes than

00:12:02.540 a conservative. 0.99

00:12:03.340 If you are black, you should face lesser consequences for worse crimes than if you are a 1.00

00:12:08.280 white. 0.99

00:12:08.920 They are telling you this almost, it depends on where you are.

00:12:13.040 In some cases, they will tell you this explicitly.

00:12:15.300 They'll say this is important to restorative justice, that because of historical wrongs,

00:12:20.680 we need a double standard to let people off the hook.

00:12:25.700 This is not just true in the criminal justice system.

00:12:28.120 This is true in school punishments.

00:12:30.300 There's a school district in Minnesota.

00:12:31.920 I'm sure there are many school districts in Minnesota that have, like this one, hired

00:12:36.700 an equity committee to make radical leftist recommendations for how to run the school.

00:12:42.620 But this particular school district has now gotten a recommendation from their equity committee

00:12:47.740 that the schools stop suspending students for any offense.

00:12:52.700 No suspensions.

00:12:54.520 Because the suspensions allegedly make the students feel shamed and they provide no, quote,

00:12:59.940 restorative benefits.

00:13:03.060 The students who do the shameful things, they might feel shamed by being punished, so we

00:13:07.900 can't punish them anymore.

00:13:08.840 The Pioneer Press is reporting the St. Paul Public School District's equity committee made

00:13:13.300 the recommendations because, specifically, high numbers of black and Indian, feather not

00:13:19.800 dot, American Indian students, are getting suspended compared to white students and, I guess,

00:13:25.640 Hispanic students.

00:13:26.720 And so because of that, because black students are getting in trouble and Indian students are 1.00

00:13:32.940 getting in trouble at a higher rate, that is evidence, according to these people, that the

00:13:38.220 rules are unjust and we need to let people do whatever they want.

00:13:42.780 A member of the school community says, we cannot do our jobs if the students are home.

00:13:47.460 Restorative practices, he's the, quote, restorative practices coordinator at Central High School.

00:13:53.240 Okay, the restorative practices communicator, whatever that is.

00:13:58.520 This is the new world that we're living in.

00:14:01.420 No punishment, crime runs rampant, not just in the streets, also in our schools.

00:14:06.480 That's a crystal ball.

00:14:07.220 Think about what your culture is going to look like in 20 years.

00:14:09.840 If that's the way students are not just living today, but how they are being raised, how they

00:14:15.480 will be set up to consider justice in the future.

00:14:17.720 Total dereliction of education.

00:14:19.840 You know, it's hard to find this stuff sometimes on the internet because the mainstream media

00:14:24.880 doesn't want to talk about it.

00:14:25.900 When you want to go on to those really nefarious websites like dailywire.com and find this information,

00:14:30.980 you're going to want to check out ExpressVPN.

00:14:32.700 Using the internet without ExpressVPN is like driving without car insurance.

00:14:37.220 Why would you take that risk?

00:14:38.400 Every time you connect to an unencrypted network, cafes, hotels, airports, any hacker on the

00:14:44.360 same network can gain access to your personal data, passwords, financial details, etc.

00:14:49.860 Your data are valuable, okay?

00:14:51.560 Hackers can make up to $1,000 per person selling personal info on the dark web.

00:14:55.840 ExpressVPN acts as online insurance, creates a secure encrypted tunnel between your device

00:15:02.100 and the internet.

00:15:03.500 Hackers cannot steal your personal data.

00:15:06.120 It's super secure.

00:15:07.440 I would really, really recommend you get this right now.

00:15:10.900 It would take a hacker with a supercomputer over a billion years to get past ExpressVPN's

00:15:16.020 encryption, okay?

00:15:17.000 Fire it up.

00:15:17.380 It's one button.

00:15:17.960 It's really simple.

00:15:19.560 You don't want people to know what kind of websites you're looking at.

00:15:21.700 You know what I'm talking about?

00:15:22.960 I'm talking about dailywire.com.

00:15:24.220 Secure your online data today by visiting expressvpn.com slash Michael, E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com

00:15:30.120 slash Michael.

00:15:30.920 You can get an extra three months free, expressvpn.com slash Michael.

00:15:35.020 We are living in a radicalized, racialized, woke regime, and they are trying to transform

00:15:44.100 every aspect of our culture.

00:15:46.660 They're trying to change the rules of criminal justice, abolish the police, defund the police,

00:15:52.960 the symbol of our legal system.

00:15:55.080 They are no longer standing for the flag or the national anthem.

00:15:58.780 They're creating new flags that are allegedly supposed to represent us.

00:16:03.040 They are not recognizing traditional American rituals or holidays.

00:16:06.740 They're inventing new ones.

00:16:07.920 You know, you can read about this in my upcoming book, Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling

00:16:13.120 Words.

00:16:13.300 I like now that the producers are going to jump me.

00:16:15.460 They're going to intuit better than I can the plugs for my book, which is coming out tomorrow.

00:16:20.620 I'll tell you what.

00:16:21.040 If you haven't already, stop what you are doing.

00:16:23.700 I'm going to give you an opportunity.

00:16:24.780 I don't care if you're driving down the street.

00:16:26.560 Slow down.

00:16:27.460 Okay.

00:16:27.780 Slow down.

00:16:28.320 Pull over to the shoulder of the road.

00:16:31.780 Get on your phone.

00:16:32.760 Just pre-order Speechless right now.

00:16:34.340 If you haven't done it already.

00:16:35.160 If you have done it already, maybe you get another copy.

00:16:37.340 Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds available wherever you can pre-order

00:16:40.360 your books.

00:16:41.700 I, you know how much I hate to say I told you so.

00:16:44.640 You know it pains me.

00:16:46.080 It causes me great pain.

00:16:48.280 I was so right about Juneteenth.

00:16:51.320 It surprised even me.

00:16:53.440 I knew that I was right that Juneteenth, quote unquote, is a bad idea to make a national 0.74

00:16:58.640 holiday.

00:16:59.060 I knew that it was just leftist claptrap that was playing on Republicans' innocence and

00:17:04.920 naivete and goodwill to try to not be seen as racist and terrible.

00:17:09.980 And I knew, I knew that it was not what people were presenting it as.

00:17:15.540 I have a piece up at the Daily Wire, which you can go read on the fuller explanation of

00:17:19.860 why Juneteenth should not be a federal holiday.

00:17:21.960 But I, I knew it.

00:17:23.900 Within about 48 hours, the libs proved me right.

00:17:26.900 Specifically, here's how.

00:17:27.880 Here's just one way in which the libs proved me right.

00:17:30.860 When you typed in Juneteenth on Twitter this weekend, there was a little emoji that popped

00:17:36.360 up right next to the hashtag.

00:17:38.300 That emoji was the raised fist, the power fist.

00:17:44.300 It was the, you know the power, it's like the communist power fist, except it was in black.

00:17:48.000 So it was the black nationalist power fist. 0.67

00:17:49.480 And then bizarrely, the knuckles were rainbow colors.

00:17:54.360 I couldn't tell, I assumed it was a, a pride rainbow or a, cause it's pride month. 0.99

00:18:00.080 I don't, it's very confusing.

00:18:01.720 Cause as far as I can tell, black pride and black nationalist activists are generally not

00:18:09.760 the most woke on the LGBT stuff, but I don't know.

00:18:12.920 They were combining all of it.

00:18:14.360 I Googled, I said, I must be misunderstanding this.

00:18:17.040 I must be overreacting.

00:18:18.420 Two days after telling us that Juneteenth is the most American holiday ever, it's American 0.68

00:18:24.800 as apple pie and all these Republicans made really shallow arguments for why we need to

00:18:28.940 celebrate.

00:18:29.380 It's the day that the Republicans freed the Democrat slaves or whatever.

00:18:32.860 They're going to symbolize this event with a communist black nationalist symbol.

00:18:40.400 Well, yes.

00:18:40.920 If you just Google raised fist, black power fist, whatever, Wikipedia, which is a left-wing

00:18:45.440 outlet says the raised fist or the clenched fist is a longstanding image of mixed meaning,

00:18:50.440 often a symbol of political solidarity.

00:18:52.720 It is a common symbol of communism.

00:18:56.240 Oh, right.

00:18:56.720 That's where I've seen that before.

00:18:59.840 Republicans take knives to a gunfight.

00:19:04.560 I'm speaking metaphorically.

00:19:06.580 Thank you very much.

00:19:07.500 I know.

00:19:07.760 Look, if I were a BLM activist, I would be speaking literally.

00:19:11.200 I would be burning down the country and threatening people's lives and I would be applauded for

00:19:14.660 it, but because I'm a conservative, I need to make clear, I'm speaking metaphorically.

00:19:18.640 We take knives to a gunfight.

00:19:23.500 It was so clear if you pay attention to what the left does, if you pay attention to the

00:19:28.520 subtle ways that they manipulate language and symbols to totally transform our culture.

00:19:33.400 It's a topic in my upcoming book, Speechless.

00:19:35.200 Last day to pre-order it right now.

00:19:37.400 If you pay attention to this, you knew that the arguments Republicans were making on Juneteenth 0.99

00:19:41.820 are just pathetic. 1.00

00:19:42.620 They were pathetic. 1.00

00:19:43.580 They'd say, but it's a good holiday. 1.00

00:19:45.320 We need to embrace it.

00:19:46.520 It's about freeing the slaves.

00:19:47.540 It's it.

00:19:48.640 If the national holiday of Juneteenth was not about creating an alternative Independence

00:19:54.680 Day to the 4th of July, why did they title the bill the Juneteenth National Independence

00:20:00.020 Day Act?

00:20:01.060 If Juneteenth were just this natural organic holiday that was being celebrated in parts

00:20:06.180 of Texas and then now it's at the national level, why now?

00:20:11.840 Why did it take 150 years for this local organic holiday to develop to the national level?

00:20:19.360 How come no one had heard of this outside of parts of Texas until about three years ago?

00:20:25.000 And now all of a sudden it's the most sacred holy day of the year.

00:20:27.660 Wake up, people.

00:20:30.360 Pay attention to the way in which the left is manipulating you and your emotions and most

00:20:36.920 notably language.

00:20:40.480 It's the topping of my upcoming book, too.

00:20:42.700 Man, they're real trigger happy today.

00:20:44.420 So as they should be, it's the last day to pre-order the book.

00:20:46.760 So I pointed out correctly that Juneteenth was meant as a replacement of the 4th of July.

00:20:55.180 And this is obviously in the title of the bill and that this was all about reframing

00:21:00.180 the history of our country, which is what the head of the 1619 Project promised us when

00:21:04.440 she launched that project in the New York Times.

00:21:07.020 She said this is a project that aims to reframe American history to make slavery the center

00:21:12.160 of the whole thing.

00:21:12.720 So then I was reading an op-ed by singer Macy Gray.

00:21:18.120 Why was I doing that?

00:21:19.240 I don't know.

00:21:19.680 I couldn't tell you.

00:21:20.480 But I saw the op-ed come around.

00:21:22.560 And what does the op-ed say?

00:21:23.880 For Juneteenth, America needs a new flag that all of us can honor.

00:21:30.520 Her argument, which is barely literate, is that the American flag now is just like the Confederate

00:21:37.340 flag.

00:21:37.820 This is an argument that I told you all they would make a couple of years ago.

00:21:44.320 Why?

00:21:44.760 Because the argument was the Confederate flag is the flag of slavery.

00:21:48.240 And that's why we need to ban it, basically, from the Amazon store and we need to ban it

00:21:52.780 from public display.

00:21:54.100 And I said, hold on a second.

00:21:55.140 If they're saying that the Confederate flag is the flag of slavery, sure, the Confederacy 0.69

00:22:00.160 did secede in large part over the question of slavery.

00:22:04.640 So there's a particular connection there.

00:22:06.360 But you might just as well say that the American flag is the flag of slavery because the American 0.62

00:22:11.560 flag flew over a slave nation for quite a long time, right? 0.98

00:22:16.500 The American flag was the flag, or a version of the American flag was the flag in 1770s

00:22:25.240 and 80s and 90s and all those decades before Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.

00:22:32.200 All those decades before Juneteenth.

00:22:34.500 Well, now the singer Macy Gray is pointing that. 0.84

00:22:36.520 She's saying this flag, quote, no longer represents us.

00:22:40.240 It no longer represents democracy and freedom.

00:22:42.580 I've pointed out with these new regulations permitting the gay rainbow flag and the BLM 1.00

00:22:48.240 flag to fly in certain American outposts, the pride flag flying at US embassies, I pointed

00:22:54.800 out that today for the left, the rainbow flag and the BLM flag are, in their mind, better

00:23:02.380 representations of our country than the American flag.

00:23:05.640 The American flag, which used to be a shared symbol, both Republicans and Democrats, who disagreed

00:23:10.640 with one another on many things.

00:23:11.580 They would both salute the flag.

00:23:12.820 That is no longer the case.

00:23:14.720 Now Democrats, at the very highest levels, will disrespect the flag.

00:23:19.000 They will kneel down, not in prayer and supplication, not in devotion, but in protest of the flag.

00:23:25.380 And the flag is a symbol of the country, and it's because they're protesting the whole country.

00:23:29.600 I think that Macy Gray is making a lot of sense.

00:23:32.840 If you buy into the BLM narrative, the 1619 narrative, the Juneteenth national narrative, 0.80

00:23:38.820 I'm not talking about the local tradition in Texas.

00:23:40.360 I'm talking about what has become a national holiday now, in opposition to the 4th of July.

00:23:45.960 If you buy into that stuff, then of course you need a new flag.

00:23:48.960 The stars and stripes do not represent you.

00:23:52.640 And they're going to gaslight you about this.

00:23:54.440 They're going to gaslight you.

00:23:55.940 Don Lemon is already doing this at CNN.

00:23:58.960 Again, he's saying to the critics of critical race theory, he's saying, cut it out.

00:24:03.560 Stop complaining about this.

00:24:05.340 Stop having any of your own views about American history.

00:24:09.500 Stop making this all about you.

00:24:11.320 You know, I had somebody today saying, well, you know, I'm just, I'm worried.

00:24:14.900 I want...

00:24:15.140 In the telling of that history.

00:24:16.060 Go on, sorry. 0.92

00:24:16.440 I don't want people lecturing my kid like, hey, you're white, you're bad because of this 0.96

00:24:19.580 and this.

00:24:19.860 I said, why do you think that's what it will be?

00:24:22.180 I said, that's the only problem, is your perception.

00:24:24.760 Why wouldn't want your kid to understand the roots of slavery and the legacy of slavery?

00:24:30.360 How it has played out for enslaved people as a culture throughout the years?

00:24:35.600 Why wouldn't you want that?

00:24:36.520 You don't think that telling people that they were beaten and sold and lynched makes them

00:24:41.100 feel bad?

00:24:41.980 That's right.

00:24:42.960 That's right.

00:24:43.800 That's right.

00:24:44.520 That's exactly right.

00:24:46.000 That's all I'm happy to hear.

00:24:47.460 That's your idea of, that's the whole thing about what privilege is, is that you, you,

00:24:52.980 you, people don't like to have their pleasure interrupted, their peace interrupted.

00:24:58.900 And so people think that it should be the way that it should be because they have been

00:25:02.140 taught that in this country.

00:25:04.180 But, you know, telling people, having people come to the realization, especially ancestors

00:25:09.420 of slaves, that they, they were enslaved and that they were beaten and they were sold,

00:25:14.040 that they weren't able to accrue wealth, that they weren't able to go to school.

00:25:16.640 They want to go vote.

00:25:17.820 You think that makes them feel good?

00:25:19.360 So the folks on the other side, stop making it about you and be curious instead of judgmental.

00:25:25.800 Yeah.

00:25:26.300 Stop making it about you.

00:25:28.320 Stop making it about you.

00:25:29.740 Be curious instead of judgmental and allow us to make all of the judgments and not be

00:25:34.340 interested in your point of view at all and allow us to reframe American history.

00:25:37.740 You know, in these crazy times, you're going to want to protect yourself.

00:25:41.540 And one does not only need to be able to go on offense.

00:28:31.140 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:28:32.320 During the Tweedledee Tweedledum handoff on CNN between Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo, Don

00:28:51.640 Lemon went off on these parents who oppose critical race theory in schools, and he used

00:28:58.820 a very subtle trick that you will sometimes hear leftist activists and race hustlers use.

00:29:04.960 He said, did you catch it?

00:29:07.420 He said, what's wrong with telling people that they were beaten and enslaved and lynched and

00:29:15.080 harassed?

00:29:16.240 What's wrong with telling people that these things happen to them?

00:29:18.740 You see, the problem with that is none of the people that are being taught critical race

00:29:25.100 theory have been lynched or enslaved or lived under Jim Crow.

00:29:31.660 None of them.

00:29:34.400 Perhaps their great-grandparents or great-great or great-great-great-great-great-grandparents

00:29:39.580 experienced some of those things, but they do not.

00:29:42.940 The conflation of the people living today with the circumstances of their ancestors, that's

00:29:51.640 the trick here.

00:29:53.600 This is all part of the Juneteenth trick of Barack Obama, in his own words, saying Juneteenth

00:29:59.320 is all about there not being a victory.

00:30:02.240 It's all about all the work that we have to do.

00:30:04.180 It's not a day to celebrate achievements.

00:30:06.220 It's a day to keep working harder toward the never-ending march toward progress. 0.94

00:30:10.040 What Don Lemon is saying is, if you're black, you are still enslaved.

00:30:15.540 You are still being, you, when you're being taught about what happened five generations 0.83

00:30:21.420 ago, that is true today for you.

00:30:27.280 And so you should resent that.

00:30:28.760 You should feel aggrieved because of that.

00:30:30.920 And you deserve some special privilege.

00:30:34.500 He uses that line.

00:30:35.280 He says, that's what privilege is, is not having to face these things.

00:30:37.540 People don't want to have their pleasure interrupted.

00:30:40.880 B.S.

00:30:41.740 Actually, the opposite of that is true.

00:30:43.780 Don Lemon lives the most ridiculously decadent, privileged life relative to just about anyone

00:30:50.720 in human history.

00:30:53.160 He is a guy, he talks on CNN all day and he goes out to his place in the Hamptons and he

00:30:58.000 gets a little grab happy with some of the bartenders, allegedly at one of those bars in the Hamptons

00:31:03.720 that I've actually been to a number of times, so I believe the argument that he's making

00:31:06.720 and, or I believe the argument that the bartender is making when he accuses Don Lemon of grabbing

00:31:11.240 him.

00:31:11.960 People forget about that story, but Don Lemon did get me too.

00:31:14.260 Let's, we'll leave that for another time.

00:31:16.860 This guy lives a luxurious, pleasurable, decadent life.

00:31:20.560 And yet, he is choosing to interrupt that pleasure, to feign grievance, because grievance carries

00:31:30.220 social currency.

00:31:31.140 It makes people feel good, gives you a jolt.

00:31:33.360 When you feel aggrieved, when you, when you think about revenge, let's say, for someone

00:31:39.340 who has wronged you, it doesn't matter what they want.

00:31:40.840 Maybe they, someone, you know, shot your paw out west or maybe someone just like cut you

00:31:45.460 off in traffic.

00:31:46.500 When you fixate on the ways that you can get back at them for, for wrongs, whether they're

00:31:52.600 legitimate or, or imagined, it actually does feel good.

00:31:56.280 Self-righteousness does feel good.

00:31:58.880 And people do like to interrupt their pleasure, to pretend that they're aggrieved.

00:32:02.240 That is how this culture of victimhood has developed, all based on a lie, but it's the

00:32:08.000 central lie of the 1619 Project and the Juneteenth National Holiday and the BLM movement.

00:32:15.460 That the worst possible historical circumstances for black people specifically, but really

00:32:22.580 for any victim group of people, are the circumstances that they are living in perpetually all the

00:32:28.300 time with no hope of ever changing that.

00:32:33.160 They're really upset on the left that conservatives are calling out this radical ideology, specifically

00:32:38.880 critical race theory.

00:32:39.960 The way that conservatives have been finding out what's going on in the schools is not

00:32:46.000 through any nefarious hidden secret means.

00:32:48.640 They're just filing Freedom of Information Act requests.

00:32:51.560 So they're going, they're saying, okay, these are public documents on what the curricula

00:32:54.340 include and what sort of things the teachers are saying.

00:32:57.420 So we're going to go, we're going to request them.

00:32:59.120 We're taxpayers.

00:32:59.960 We're going to go see what those documents are.

00:33:01.460 Oh, hey, look, it's radical critical race theory.

00:33:03.360 And a journalist, an NBC reporter, actually went on MSNBC to complain that citizens are

00:33:13.440 using perfectly legal means to uncover facts about what's going on in their schools.

00:33:18.400 She said, this is, you know, a reporter whose job it is to uncover facts and present them

00:33:22.860 to people is furious that while she and the rest of the reporters are derelicting their

00:33:28.120 duty, the parents are doing the reporter's job themselves.

00:33:31.800 It's hard for me as a reporter because I don't want to put foils in a bad light, right?

00:33:36.400 Freedom of Information laws are wonderful things, but it is, in fact, a tactic of national and

00:33:42.300 just hyper and fast-growing local organizations to use onerous public records requests.

00:33:48.020 So what we'll see, what we saw in Maine is asking for all of these records requests of,

00:33:51.700 you know, how much money did you spend on anything involving race?

00:33:54.460 And then that is used to sort of frame, again, the school board as being, as paying for CRT,

00:34:05.480 which, again, is just not the case.

00:34:07.260 And so that's what happened there.

00:34:08.440 In Nevada, we saw, again, this local group called Nevada Family Alliance, who was really

00:34:15.280 known for trying to get drag queen story hours stopped at the local libraries.

00:34:20.600 And now one activist there told me that this was the opportunity she had been waiting for.

00:34:26.000 So she files these onerous FOIA requests, gets them, and then translates them in a way

00:34:30.760 that's just not correct or accurate, in a way to suggest that, again, the school board is

00:34:35.560 coming from your children and teachers are specifically teaching kindergartners, white 0.93

00:34:39.740 kindergartners, that they're somehow oppressors.

00:34:41.740 It's just not really true.

00:34:43.200 Um, you know, it's just not, uh, really correct.

00:34:47.060 Um, it's just not really, how condescending is this woman's tone?

00:34:52.280 I think she's saying many things that are not true at the moment, and then she's complaining

00:34:56.840 about true things that are perfectly legitimate.

00:34:59.360 But it's the tone that gets me.

00:35:02.040 This smug, condescending, um, and you know, the problem with it is it's just, uh, it's not

00:35:07.820 really, it's just not quite true.

00:35:10.640 So, uh, so, well, okay, if you're going to refute the claims that conservatives have

00:35:16.720 made that critical race theory and associated ideological movements have now been brought

00:35:23.420 on into our schools all the way down to elementary school, if you're going to refute that, then

00:35:27.720 refute it because we got the receipts.

00:35:31.540 There's a great reporter on this on the right, Chris Ruffo at City Journal, who has, who has

00:35:36.940 done a huge investigative series on CRT in schools.

00:35:39.540 He's shown specific examples of teachers promoting the ideas that all white people are 0.90

00:35:44.900 racist, that white-led school systems systemically, quote, spirit murder black children, that white 0.98

00:35:51.420 parents should become, quote, white traitors, and that white teachers are inherently guilty 0.99

00:35:56.460 of, quote, covert white supremacy, right? 0.99

00:35:59.480 These are specific examples from schools.

00:36:01.360 We've got the documents here on the right, notably because of Chris's efforts, but there

00:36:05.440 are a lot of other ones too.

00:36:06.400 And it's not, I mean, Chris and a lot of people right now are focusing on just what CRT

00:36:11.000 means in schools right now.

00:36:12.300 But this has been going on for a long time through the broader critical theory movement,

00:36:16.040 which is a major topic of my upcoming book, Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling

00:36:20.180 Minds.

00:36:20.520 So if you want to see how this has infected schools, not just in the last few years, but

00:36:24.280 over the past few decades, or even further back, going all the way back to the 60s, and

00:36:29.260 actually even further back to the 30s, you're going to read that in my upcoming book

00:36:32.660 available now for pre-order for the last day.

00:36:35.040 Now, this woman says it's not happening.

00:36:38.540 Don't believe it.

00:36:39.620 It's totally fake.

00:36:41.580 They're lying.

00:36:43.120 And they should stop getting all of the documents that prove that they're right.

00:36:48.700 Okay, if they're just lying, if they're just making this up, why are you so upset about

00:36:52.340 them getting these public documents that prove them right?

00:36:54.560 Oh, that's why.

00:36:55.620 Because it proves them right.

00:36:57.680 Speaking of madness in our schools, beyond the topic of race, got to get to the topic

00:37:02.840 of sex.

00:37:03.380 There is a Canadian professor who is under fire right now for encouraging young girls 0.97

00:37:10.940 to prostitute themselves when they are young as they are beginning to start their careers.

00:37:17.300 Naomi Sayers, who's an adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa, tweeted out, quote,

00:37:21.780 unpopular opinion, the best thing young people can do early in their careers is do hashtag

00:37:27.580 sex work on the side because your early career prospects will be unstable, unpredictable,

00:37:31.500 low pay, likely contract work, and very much exploitative.

00:37:35.720 Now, a spokesperson for this, a spokesman for this woman is saying she was being ironic.

00:37:41.640 She was making a criticism of capitalism.

00:37:44.140 So she's saying, don't, don't believe that this woman's actually encouraging her students 0.96

00:37:48.240 to prostitute themselves.

00:37:49.100 But then later on, the same spokesman said that this is just part of her point on the 0.99

00:37:54.260 shaming, on slut shaming and sex work. 1.00

00:37:56.340 So then it seems like she is defending prostitution and the kids to go into it. 0.99

00:38:00.020 So this woman's obviously very confused.

00:38:01.820 She does make a criticism of capitalism.

00:38:03.520 She says, that's how capitalism works.

00:38:05.720 People out here saying young people can be exploited in sex work.

00:38:08.400 Literally, that's capitalism.

00:38:09.760 Lol.

00:38:10.420 And quite literally, that's any kind of work.

00:38:12.500 Any kind of work.

00:38:14.240 Abolish capitalism.

00:38:15.940 Abolish, actually abolish prison, but whatever.

00:38:19.100 So this woman obviously has a couple screws loose. 1.00

00:38:23.760 She is a communist. 0.99

00:38:25.440 She is an insane communist, but I repeat myself. 0.86

00:38:29.580 But I actually want to take her point seriously because I think she unwittingly is revealing 0.82

00:38:34.940 something about the modern left and frankly, the modern right.

00:38:38.800 She shares some critiques of modern society with conservatives.

00:38:42.940 She is saying that some aspects of the current economic system are exploitative and that in

00:38:52.560 some ways, by making an idol of mammon, making an idol of GDP, making an idol of these things,

00:38:59.720 we are neglecting other important aspects of our society and our humanity.

00:39:03.480 In the name of boosting GDP a little in the United States, we ship our manufacturing jobs overseas.

00:39:10.020 We destroy communities in the United States.

00:39:11.880 We sell out the American worker. 1.00

00:39:13.320 That's just a fact.

00:39:14.780 Is that because of capitalism?

00:39:16.520 Is that because of our corporatist regime?

00:39:19.340 Is it because, I don't know why you use whatever term you want.

00:39:22.640 Capitalism itself is a word popularized by Karl Marx.

00:39:25.060 But that criticism of our current economic system is one that I bet this woman would share, 1.00

00:39:33.160 this crazy communist, and I bet traditional conservatives who care about the American worker 0.86

00:39:38.700 would share, right? 0.99

00:39:40.300 That is a problem.

00:39:42.180 But what this woman is suggesting, what she gets so wrong, is she's taking this materialist 0.95

00:39:47.980 view of humanity whereby we are our bodies.

00:39:52.640 We have no dignity.

00:39:53.920 We have no soul.

00:39:56.120 We are just meat.

00:39:57.820 And so for her, if you're using your body to make widgets at the factory, or you're using

00:40:04.320 your body to be degraded by men on camera or in a bordello or something, then it's the same

00:40:12.080 thing.

00:40:12.960 But they're not the same thing.

00:40:15.920 When you use your body and your mind to create something, you are,

00:40:23.920 maintaining your dignity.

00:40:26.940 When you degrade yourself and you turn yourself into an object, a mere play thing for someone

00:40:33.960 else's pleasure, you are undermining your dignity.

00:40:39.720 Actually, consider sex itself.

00:40:41.900 I think this is why they go so crazy with the sex work. 0.99

00:40:44.420 A wife and a prostitute engage in the same act, right? 0.99

00:40:51.440 I think it's the same thing.

00:40:54.260 Why do we think one of them is good and one of them is bad?

00:41:00.700 Well, what this woman would probably tell you, what the left would tell you is because of

00:41:04.240 the patriarchy, it's deluded us and it's given us crazy conceptions and actually it's the

00:41:09.620 same thing and it's an exploitation of men or whatever. 1.00

00:41:11.980 Okay.

00:41:12.100 The reason we think that is because one of them is happening out of love in a stable,

00:41:19.720 loving place that gives dignity to the woman and the other is exploitative. 0.92

00:41:24.960 It's really two people exploiting one another.

00:41:28.060 It's the man exploiting the prostitute's desperation and the prostitute exploiting the man's desperation 0.97

00:41:34.280 for sex, right? 0.98

00:41:36.940 The man exploiting the prostitute's need for money and greed for money and the prostitute 0.99

00:41:44.000 exploiting the man's addiction to sexual pleasure and his need for instant gratification and his 0.97

00:41:51.740 degraded view of the world.

00:41:53.040 That is a mutual exploitation.

00:41:54.720 A husband and a wife in a loving marriage will the good of the other person.

00:42:00.440 They are building something.

00:42:01.680 It's not a zero-sum game where they're just like, I'm going to take this from you and you're

00:42:05.500 going to take this from me.

00:42:06.740 You're actually procreating in that situation.

00:42:09.040 You're creating a child.

00:42:10.440 So physically, they look like the same act, but they're totally different acts.

00:42:15.700 What this woman, I suspect, is saying is actually there's a really conservative argument here.

00:42:19.780 What she's saying is when women are younger, let's say a woman in her early 20s should engage 0.98

00:42:25.320 in sex work.

00:42:27.120 She's saying that because women who are younger are more physically attractive, they should take 1.00

00:42:31.640 advantage of that, turn it to their advantage, and make some money out of it.

00:42:34.820 I bet what the conservative would say is actually when a woman is younger, what she should do 1.00

00:42:39.140 is get married.

00:42:41.220 She is more physically attractive. 1.00

00:42:43.240 She's got more energy, more energy to raise kids, whatever. 1.00

00:42:47.780 And so yes, they're observing the same physical facts, but coming to totally different political

00:42:53.380 ends.

00:42:54.560 This woman, unfortunately, she's gone totally, totally wrong in her view of things, but we 1.00

00:43:00.940 can actually learn from the left sometimes.

00:43:03.060 We can learn from their weird perceptions of the world.

00:43:05.000 That is actually one of the main points of my upcoming book, Speechless Controlling Words,

00:43:07.640 Controlling Minds.

00:43:08.140 I want to take the left seriously on these things.

00:43:11.880 I want to take their thinkers seriously.

00:43:14.160 You know, so much of this craziness on race and sex and gender, quote unquote, comes down

00:43:24.800 to a misunderstanding of really basic philosophical questions.

00:43:30.900 This is why this racial narrative has become a kind of national religion.

00:43:35.360 It's got religious ceremonies.

00:43:36.840 It's why Juneteenth is now a national sacred feast, a religious holiday.

00:43:41.180 It's why Pride Month is on the liturgical calendar.

00:43:43.460 It's because we don't understand the religious underpinnings of society.

00:43:48.520 TikTok is where I get my most important understanding of the current obsession with race and sex and

00:43:57.460 gender in particular.

00:43:58.700 Here's a gal on TikTok explaining what it means to be gender fluid. 1.00

00:44:04.760 Oh, actually, I'm gender fluid.

00:44:07.640 Oh, okay.

00:44:09.500 Wait, what does gender fluid mean again?

00:44:11.300 Gender fluid means my gender changes depending on the day or week or even depending on the

00:44:18.660 hour.

00:44:19.540 It also means the pronouns I'm comfortable with can change, too.

00:44:23.360 Oh, so how do I know what pronouns to use for you and other gender fluid people?

00:44:28.500 Um, we all express them differently, but personally, I express them through color-coded bracelets.

00:44:33.380 Pink means she, her, yellow means they, them, and blue means he, him.

00:44:40.140 And if I'm comfortable with more than one pronoun, I will combine them.

00:44:44.740 Oh, okay.

00:44:45.620 So today's a she, they, day? 1.00

00:44:49.060 You got it.

00:44:50.640 Okay.

00:44:51.080 Um, I'll keep that in mind.

00:44:52.160 Okay, you got it.

00:44:53.920 You got it.

00:44:55.240 Do you see, this is obviously a confused gal, so I'm not going to go after her too much. 0.99

00:44:59.840 I think that she is expressing a very popular point of view and no one gets the problem.

00:45:06.760 Did you, did you catch the problem with her solution?

00:45:09.340 How do I know if you're a boy or a girl today?

00:45:11.100 Well, you can tell by my bracelet.

00:45:12.820 If I'm wearing the blue bracelet, it means this one thing.

00:45:14.620 If I'm wearing this other bracelet, it means another thing.

00:45:16.000 Who decides what the bracelets mean?

00:45:20.960 Right now, we, looking at the symbols of our bodies, we say that certain physical characteristics,

00:45:29.480 body parts, things like that, represent man or woman.

00:45:36.360 And then the radicals came in and said, you can't tell me that my Adam's apple and my broad

00:45:40.600 shoulders and my other appendages represent man.

00:45:43.540 They actually could represent woman.

00:45:45.020 I'm a woman.

00:45:45.740 You just are misunderstanding the symbols of my body.

00:45:49.320 Okay, so how am I going to know if you're a man or a woman?

00:45:51.240 Well, I'm going to wear a color-coded bracelet.

00:45:52.940 Well, and then how are you?

00:45:54.100 You can't be the one to decide what the pink and the blue mean.

00:45:56.900 It's exactly the same problem.

00:45:58.280 It just pushes it back.

00:45:59.700 Ultimately, someone needs to decide what these symbols mean, whether the symbol is words,

00:46:05.140 whether the symbol is color, whether the symbol is our body itself.

00:46:08.820 You can read about how to make sense of these things and why the conservatives have just

00:46:13.060 completely whiffed it on this issue.

00:46:15.020 In my upcoming book, Speechless, hitting bookstores tomorrow.

00:46:19.040 This has become a national obsession and it's very, very confused.

00:46:22.360 And it leads people to make hasty and incorrect conclusions.

00:46:26.360 So in Fort Lauderdale, there was a pride parade over the weekend and someone actually ran someone over, accidentally ran someone over.

00:46:35.360 All we ever heard was there was a car involved in hitting someone. 0.72

00:46:41.000 The Fort Lauderdale mayor, Dean Trontalis, comes out and says, I mean, this is a terror attack on gay people. 0.93

00:46:47.780 It's terrible. 0.98

00:46:48.460 It's terrible.

00:46:48.580 They're laying on the ground.

00:46:49.820 This is clearly a terrorist act against the LGBT community. 0.99

00:46:53.040 This is disgusting. 0.71

00:46:54.300 This is we're fearful of our lives.

00:46:56.080 We don't know what's going on in the rest of the street.

00:46:58.000 It just didn't look like he was here to have a parade.

00:47:01.060 He was here to cause trouble.

00:47:02.440 You could see it in his face.

00:47:03.480 You could see when they threw him into the car and took him away.

00:47:08.360 You could see it in his face. 1.00

00:47:09.460 You could tell he was a vicious, terrible, anti-gay supremacist. 1.00

00:47:13.860 I knew the minute I saw this story, I said, nope. 0.99

00:47:16.980 No, that's not true.

00:47:18.840 I bet it was just an accident.

00:47:21.340 But the mayor says it was obviously a terrorist attack. 0.92

00:47:23.620 This guy's obviously a terrorist.

00:47:24.400 So the guy who was driving the car, he is a member of the LGBTQ chorus that was at the parade. 0.84

00:47:36.760 He just hit the wrong pedal.

00:47:39.060 The guy is one of the people involved in organizing the pride parade itself.

00:47:45.720 The president of this gay chorus, Justin Knight, came out and he said,

00:47:50.560 this was not an attack on the LGBT community.

00:47:54.720 The guy who was driving was in our club.

00:47:58.820 Now, of course, we know that.

00:47:59.640 We know that America is not this anti-gay, anti-black, whatever.

00:48:04.940 I mean, it's so clear.

00:48:05.700 You can just see it before your very eyes.

00:48:07.260 You look at statistics.

00:48:08.300 You look around the messaging from corporate America.

00:48:10.660 You look around the messaging from the government and our schools. 0.99

00:48:13.020 It's all discussing the evils of white supremacy and all white people are racist. 0.95

00:48:18.740 And straight people are oppressive and whatever, all these sorts of things. 0.97

00:48:23.440 And yet, they really believe it.

00:48:25.000 They are so wrapped up in their own cult, the cult of victimhood and oppression, the cult of wokeism.

00:48:30.760 They can't see it.

00:48:31.880 The very language that they're using is controlling the way that they understand the world.

00:48:38.260 There's a great book coming out about this very topic.

00:48:40.520 Ted Lieu, not the brightest bulb in the congressional pack.

00:48:46.140 He's a Democrat congressman out in California.

00:48:49.980 He is very upset right now because a number of bishops are putting together guidance on what to do about allegedly Catholic politicians who scandalously flout the church's teaching.

00:49:01.020 This wasn't as big a deal until very recently when we had a nominally Catholic president who is scandalously openly in disagreement with the church on important things and is actively providing support to abortion, which is not just one issue among many.

00:49:16.260 It's a very particular issue.

00:49:17.440 So, 60, quote, Catholic Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives issued a statement of principles decrying the, quote, weaponization of the Eucharist to Democrat lawmakers for their support of a woman's safe and legal access to abortion.

00:49:31.080 They're saying it's contradictory.

00:49:31.940 In the Catholic Church, for those of you who don't know, you are not permitted to receive the Eucharist if you are in a state of mortal sin.

00:49:40.620 And if you're in a state of mortal sin, it's that you've committed the sin, you haven't confessed it, you haven't repented.

00:49:45.280 So, the Democrat politicians who are supporting abortion are committing not just that sin, but they're also committing the sin of scandal by confusing the faithful.

00:49:53.800 So, Ted Lieu writes, quote,

00:49:54.960 Dear USCCB, I'm Catholic and I support contraception, a woman's right to choose, treatments for infertility, the right for people to get a divorce, the right of same-sex marriage.

00:50:02.260 Next time I go to church, I dare you to deny me communion.

00:50:05.840 I dare, outrageous, outrageous. 0.97

00:50:08.360 Chris Hahn, actually, who's a Democrat that is employed by Fox News, actually beat out Ted Lieu for the dumbest tweet on this matter. 0.94

00:50:15.980 He said, quote, 0.88

00:50:16.740 Time for Pope Francis to have a come-to-Jesus moment with Catholic bishops who deny President Biden communion.

00:50:21.860 Their statement is political, not religious.

00:50:25.460 What?

00:50:28.420 There's so many things wrong with this.

00:50:29.840 First of all, very scandalous for a Catholic to demand that he eat his own damnation. 0.98

00:50:35.540 If you eat the body of Christ in an unworthy state, just according to St. Paul, you are eating your own damnation so that when the priests withhold it from you, it's for your own good.

00:50:45.640 It's so that you don't further imperil your soul.

00:50:48.800 But moreover, Chris Hahn says that the church needs to only act religiously, not politically, as if there's not an overlap.

00:50:56.160 I don't know if Chris knows this.

00:50:58.100 The Pope has his own country.

00:51:00.140 Do you know that?

00:51:00.740 The Pope is a political figure as well as a religious figure.

00:51:04.820 And all political conflict, as Cardinal Manning tells us, is ultimately religious.

00:51:09.740 This is obviously true.

00:51:11.000 Our current state-established church, our woke regime, is the regime of radical racial theories, radical gender theories, these very, very perverse views of human nature itself.

00:51:23.920 And these are being enshrined, and if you contradict that orthodoxy, you will be persecuted for it.

00:51:29.100 But unlike other religious persecutions in history, this regime is not even willing to acknowledge those religious foundations.

00:51:37.240 Makes it all the more dangerous.
