Joe Biden is done talking about Afghanistan. The country that we spent 20 years building
00:00:05.420
collapsed within hours. 13 U.S. servicemen were just killed in a deadly terror attack by a new
00:00:11.300
offshoot of ISIS. And according to reports, the Biden administration willingly handed over Kabul
00:00:17.480
to the Taliban before we got our troops out, despite offers from our old allies,
00:00:23.280
turned enemies, turned allies again, the Taliban, to let us run the capital city through the end
00:00:27.880
of the month. People have a lot of questions, but we aren't getting any answers because Joe Biden
00:00:33.200
doesn't want to talk about it. So thank you very much. And thank you,
00:00:37.580
commissioner. I really think it all works. I'm not, I'm not supposed to take any questions,
00:00:42.660
but go ahead. Mr. President, on Afghanistan. I'm not going to answer Afghanistan. Can you say
00:00:47.480
if there's still an acute risk? He's not going to answer it. He's not going to answer it. So
00:00:52.420
disrespectful. And if you think that was disrespectful, just wait until you see what
00:00:55.520
he did at the dignified transfer of our fallen troops. Just wait until you see what his
00:01:00.700
administration did before the fall of Kabul. Our troops can't count on their military leaders.
00:01:06.120
Our military can't count on its political leaders. Day by day, it's getting harder to tell our allies
00:01:11.080
from our enemies. I'm Michael Knowles. It's the Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:13.600
Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment Friday from Cynthia, who says what president ever
00:01:25.880
has gotten up and said they gave me a list of those reporters to call on. And I, I just do what
00:01:32.780
they tell me. Are you serious? Yes, we are serious. This is what's happening now. People sometimes talk
00:01:39.420
about Donald Trump as a kind of meta president, you know, or a meta politician in that he makes
00:01:47.300
obvious and conscious all the aspects of politics that used to be hidden. You know, he talks about
00:01:53.980
them. He's very famously said this. He goes, look, they want me to sound presidential. Okay. How's
00:01:58.620
this? Am I, do I sound presidential now? Right. And it's, it's almost like he's doing a standup comedy
00:02:03.320
routine about being president. That's all true. I totally buy it. Joe Biden's doing the same thing.
00:02:10.280
He's just doing it in, in a, in a Joe Biden kind of way, but it's the same exact thing where he says,
00:02:15.380
all right, they gave me a list of people to call on. It's true that in past administrations,
00:02:21.340
the aides will say, okay, you know, here, can you call on this, focus on this person? Don't talk to
00:02:25.980
this person, but it's never conscious. And for the, now the past two administrations,
00:02:30.700
and we're talking about both political parties here, it's like the presidency itself is
00:02:36.120
transforming. It's like, we're, it's like everything is just unraveling and becoming so
00:02:41.100
obvious. Now that's, what's really conscious. When you are unconscious at night, you're probably
00:02:47.240
going to want to be sleeping on a Helix bed. Helix sleep has a quiz. It takes two minutes to
00:02:51.520
complete. It matches your body type and sleep preferences to the perfect mattress for you.
00:02:56.580
Why would you buy a mattress that were made for someone else? Does that make sense?
00:03:00.980
You could get one that's made for you. That makes a lot more sense to me with Helix.
00:03:04.080

00:03:07.720

even a Helix plus mattress for plus size sleepers. Helix is terrific. You don't need to take my word
00:03:17.440
for it. Helix was awarded the number one best overall mattress pick of 2020 by GQ and Wired magazine.

00:03:52.740
The flagrant disrespect from Joe Biden throughout this entire ordeal is, it's getting worse by the
00:04:00.960
day. I thought that his cavalier attitude with regard to Afghanistan, with regard to the terror
00:04:07.880
attack, with regard to the fallen troops, certainly with regard to talking to the press, I thought that
00:04:11.560
was bad. Then they're at the dignified transfer. These are the, the servicemen who were killed in
00:04:18.380
Kabul. They are brought back in coffins, flags draped over their coffins. And you've got the
00:04:24.320
president and other members of the staff and lots and lots of family members with their hand over their
00:04:28.980
heart. And Joe Biden checks his watch. So you've got, you know, he's standing there next to his wife,
00:04:35.300
Dr. Jill, after Lieutenant Colonel Vindman, you got to use his phrase, his, his proper title and
00:04:44.520
Dr. Jill and then other members of the staff. And there is Joe with, with members of the family
00:04:50.400
watching. He checks his watch and you can tell that he wasn't doing anything else because he does
00:04:56.420
it in a way that's really obvious, but he thinks he's being surreptitious in a way that people who are
00:05:00.800
a little bit older often do that. What's he got? Does he have a tea time? Is he late for lunch?
00:05:05.740
He's got his eyes closed during much of this. Something tells me it's not because he's praying.
00:05:09.380
I, I strongly think it's because just as he does during press conferences, just as he does during
00:05:14.420
meetings with foreign officials, he falls asleep. He just, he just fell asleep during the meeting with,
00:05:20.860
with the new Israeli prime minister, literally in the oval office. He just, he started, his eyes start
00:05:24.900
to shut and the Israeli prime minister is going on and on about the great relationship with,
00:05:28.960
with Israel. And there is Joe Biden literally asleep in the chair.
00:05:36.300
Hours before that terror attack on last week on Kabul, the army's top sergeant major sent out
00:05:45.400
an important tweet, an important message for the military's priorities. This is sergeant major of
00:05:51.980
the army, Michael Grinston, who wrote quote, it's a photo of lots of like women and, but some are black
00:05:59.640
and some are Hispanic and some are white. And he says, diversity is a number. Do you have people
00:06:05.300
that don't look or think like you in the room? Inclusion is listening and valuing those people.
00:06:11.260
Hashtag women's equality day reminds us we're smarter and more lethal when we come together as an inclusive,
00:06:24.060
Our servicemen deserve better leaders than these clowns. Our citizens, our civilians deserve better
00:06:30.860
than these clowns. All of these people should be fired and probably banished to St. Helena.
00:06:35.560
This is what our military is focused on. One, getting more women into the military,
00:06:42.020
more women into combat. Yeah. It's, it's inclusive and more equitable when we send our women to be
00:06:47.140
killed and blown up in the Middle East. That, that makes us a better country, doesn't it?
00:06:51.920
Doesn't it? I don't think so. I think it makes us a worse country. I think it makes us a much worse
00:06:57.340
country. I think it makes us a sick country that we think it is not only tolerable, but good to send
00:07:04.220
our women to be maimed and killed overseas by terrorists and to fight our wars for us. I think
00:07:10.420
that makes us sick in the head and sick in the soul. Moreover, moreover, he's saying diversity. It
00:07:15.900
doesn't just refer to sex. Obviously it refers to race when people talk about diversity. What he's
00:07:19.720
saying is diversity. When you have people who don't look like you and the only way diversity is ever
00:07:26.220
mentioned is when we're talking about having more black people or more Hispanic people or occasionally
00:07:31.300
more Asian people in some group. It could, if you have an entirely white team, that's not diverse.
00:07:38.680
If you have an entirely black team, it's very diverse. Now, obviously neither of those are
00:07:42.420
diverse in any serious meaning of the word, but diversity just means more black and Hispanic people.
00:07:49.160
Listen to what he's saying. He goes, when we're diverse, we're more lethal. What he's saying is
00:07:56.060
that black people are more lethal than white people. If you, if you follow what he's saying
00:07:59.560
to its logical conclusion, he said, if you've got a team of all white people, that's, that's not
00:08:04.100
sufficiently lethal. But when you add black people to it, then it's more lethal. Therefore, the only
00:08:10.020
conclusion could be that, that black people are more violent than white people. Black people are
00:08:14.340
deadlier than white people. But if you said that, if you came out and you said, yeah, blacks are much
00:08:19.360
more violent than whites, aren't they? That would be, that would be racist, wouldn't it? I think that would be
00:08:24.940
racist. But then he says it, but he's saying it like it, like it's good. And he uses the words
00:08:29.760
inclusion and diversity. And so it's, that's anti-racist or something. Then beyond race,
00:08:36.160
you've got this idea. He said, you know, when you've got a team of just men, that's not lethal
00:08:40.340
enough. But when you add women, then it's more lethal because, because the only conclusion could
00:08:44.100
be women are more violent and lethal and deadly than men, which is preposterous. It's just not true
00:08:49.420
because women are not as strong as men physically. They're just not. They're just not.
00:08:56.700
But we, we have to live in this pretend world. So when our operations collapse because of political
00:09:03.200
idiocy, we're just scratching our heads. Gosh, I wonder why. Maybe it's because of people like this,
00:09:09.240
this Sergeant Major and General Milley and all of the other soon to be pink haired top brass at the
00:09:15.480
Pentagon and our political leadership, most of all, because we are viewing the world through a lens
00:09:22.280
of unreality, surreality, fiction and delusion. Is it any wonder when in the real world, our plans
00:09:31.480
fall apart? You know, who's deadlier right now than, you know, lesbian women, trans, what, I don't
00:09:40.580
know, whatever the victim groups are. Do you know who's deadlier? The Taliban, the Taliban. They're
00:09:44.200
deadlier than even the Taliban were two weeks ago. Here's why. We, we talked about early estimates
00:09:49.300
from the sort of equipment or of the sort of equipment that the Taliban stole. Government
00:09:54.740
doesn't want to release these numbers, but some watchdogs have been. Here's what we got. 22,174
00:10:01.980
Humvees. We've got 155 MXX Pro mindproof vehicles, 169 armored personal carriers. That's pretty spooky.
00:10:12.360
42,000 trucks and SUVs, 64,363 machine guns. Just machine guns, just full, like, pull the trailer,
00:10:19.660
just rips. Over 64,000 of those, 8,000 trucks, 162,000 radios, 16,000 night vision devices. That's
00:10:26.400
very scary. 358,530 assault rifles. So you're going to ban, quote unquote, assault weapons that aren't even
00:10:34.560
really assault weapons from American citizens. And then you're going to give hundreds of thousands
00:10:37.820
of them to the Taliban. 126,000 pistols, 176 artillery pieces. Then you've got 33 Blackhawks,
00:10:45.560
33 MI-17 choppers, 43 other helicopters. Oh, four C-130 transports. Just gigantic,
00:10:53.420
massive transport planes. Bunch of other planes too. That's who's deadlier right now.
00:11:00.180
Meanwhile, there's a report out now, according to the Washington Post, there's a left-wing outlet
00:11:06.020
talking about the left-wing administration. None of this had to happen because apparently
00:11:12.760
the Taliban met with top US military officials in Doha, presumably political officials too,
00:11:19.700
in Doha and Qatar, and offered to let the United States hold Kabul until the evacuation was complete.
00:11:27.600
So the Taliban said, look, we're going to take over the whole country, but you can hold Kabul if you
00:11:32.700
want until you leave. And then there's not going to be any big worry. And the American military said,
00:11:38.440
no. The leaders, not the soldiers, obviously. This was a meeting with the head of the Taliban.
00:11:47.220
So the United States didn't want to have responsibility for securing Kabul. So then
00:11:52.440
the Taliban gave security for Kabul to the Haqqani Network. The Haqqani Network, very deadly,
00:11:59.580
dangerous terrorist organization that actually the United States used to fund through the CIA.
00:12:04.600
Get to that in just a second. Absolute madness. So now the United States doesn't run Kabul. Kabul
00:12:10.820
gets attacked. The United States soldiers get attacked and other servicemen. And in response,
00:12:18.280
according to a report from CNN now, Biden is just flying planes and planes of Afghans over to the United
00:12:24.200
States, many of whom don't have any documentation whatsoever. We don't know who they are. We don't know
00:12:28.480
if they're from a bad group. We don't know if they want to kill us. Just flying them all over. Complete
00:12:33.600
botched job. When you want to get your blood flowing again, when you want to just quench your
00:12:42.260
appetite, when you want to get a little more iron in your blood, I would strongly recommend you check
00:12:48.020
out Good Ranchers. Did you know that over 80% of the grass-fed beef sold in the United States
00:12:52.660
is actually imported from overseas? Sometimes you'll see they'll have some kind of mealy-mouthed
00:12:58.860
wording about America or USA on the packaging, but it's not actually from America. Well, the Good
00:13:03.320
Ranchers have traveled the country, our country, this one, on a mission to help the American family
00:13:08.140
by working together with local farms and ranches and shipping straight to your door.
00:13:12.240
Goodranchers.com is a safe and convenient way to order your meat. They save your family money.
00:13:17.240
They help the American farmer. They've got great stuff, better than organic chicken,
00:13:22.560
craft beef. They got T-bones, filet. I love filets, especially strips. Probably my favorite
00:13:27.160
cut of meat. Gourmet burgers. Had those just about a week or so ago. They were absolutely
00:13:31.620
magnificent, and they're half the price of online competitors. You get the steakhouse quality you

00:14:01.100
Joe Biden, this is according to CNN, by the way. You know, the reason that I keep quoting these
00:14:05.540
left-wing outlets here is because when a left-wing outlet is going after a left-wing politician or
00:14:10.720
policy, it carries more weight than when a left-wing outlet is going against a right-winger.
00:14:15.020
Or when a right-winger is going after a left-winger, for that matter. Quote, this is CNN,
00:14:20.280
arriving Afghans without paperwork prompt delays and security challenges. Some Afghans
00:14:26.180
fling their home country have arrived in the United States without paperwork amid the rapid
00:14:30.460
pace of evacuations, according to two sources familiar with the situation. The approach from
00:14:35.140
the administration has been, quote, get as many people on the plane as you can and we'll sort out
00:14:39.680
the immigration visa stuff later. Some people have landed with no documents whatsoever, creating a
00:14:45.100
very challenging work environment for the officers. Cool. What could go wrong, right? What could possibly
00:14:50.740
go wrong? Brings me to an important point on our Afghan allies. What a lot of the talk that you're
00:14:57.600
hearing from left-wingers and neoliberals and the kind of squish conservative types, they call them
00:15:05.360
neocons or the imperialist types, the ones who wanted to stay in the Middle East forever and continue to
00:15:10.740
bomb various Muslim countries and spread liberal democracy all over the world. You're hearing a lot of
00:15:15.440
talk about our Afghan allies. I'm going to take you on a little trip down memory lane about our Afghan
00:15:24.220
allies, okay? Because I don't know that we can really know who our Afghan allies are, okay? I appreciate
00:15:29.280
people who have helped the United States out over the years there. In 1983, Ronald Reagan welcomed a
00:15:35.100
group of Mujahideen Afghan freedom fighters to the Oval Office. He pointed out that these freedom
00:15:40.920
fighters were fighting the Soviet Union and so the United States was going to support them.
00:15:45.380
The United States funneled a lot of money to these Mujahideen freedom fighters over the years,
00:15:49.600
in no small part through the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency, which is a sort of state
00:15:55.140
within a state in Pakistan. So through the ISI and also in other ways, we start funding the Mujahideen
00:16:02.620
freedom fighters. The Mujahideen freedom fighters defeat the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union leaves and
00:16:06.820
the Soviet Union collapses shortly thereafter. At that point, believe it or not, all these various
00:16:12.660
Mujahideen groups, all of these various Islamist groups that fought the Soviets, the godless atheist
00:16:17.460
Soviets, turns out they weren't so great at forming a government together. So that plunges Afghanistan
00:16:22.460
into four more years of civil war. During that civil war, there were various groups. And even though
00:16:28.820
there were three, four, then five groups, it turned out that some of the people fighting didn't think
00:16:33.540
that was enough militants in the conflict. So they formed another group. That other group is called
00:16:37.960
the Taliban. They did that with the funding of the ISI and with the encouragement of Pakistan's ISI.
00:16:44.940
Okay. The Taliban quickly, all of the, not all, but virtually all of the Taliban's original
00:16:50.980
leadership, by the way, were people that the United States had funded in the original fight
00:16:54.260
against the Soviets. Okay. Taliban takes over Afghanistan, starts to rise during the early
00:17:00.040
1990s, and then 1996 declares the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Okay. They rule for about five years.
00:17:07.600
They, with the support of our allies in the ISI, harbor Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. Osama bin Laden
00:17:15.440
and al-Qaeda attack the United States on September 11th. The United States goes in and deposes the
00:17:20.600
Taliban. The Taliban then goes out and retreats. Obviously, we stay there for about 20 years.
00:17:25.280
Now, the Taliban is coming back into control. So they were our allies, then our enemy. They were
00:17:31.180
sort of our allies, then our enemy, then our allies again. Now, we get attacked by ISIS. ISIS is a
00:17:36.040
rival Islamic terror group. They just attacked us in Kabul. They're fighting against the Taliban.
00:17:41.820
Now, they attacked us because the security in Kabul wasn't good enough. The security in Kabul had been
00:17:47.700
given to the Haqqani Network, as I just mentioned. The Haqqani Network was one of the largest recipients
00:17:52.860
of CIA funding during the Cold War. So then the Haqqani Network turned against us. The ISI and the CIA
00:17:59.180
were funding the Haqqani Network until the ISI started paying the Haqqani Network to attack the CIA.
00:18:03.400
Are you still following me? Because I'm not. I can't follow me anymore because it's so
00:18:06.900
damn confusing. You've got the Afghan National Army, which the United States had been funding
00:18:11.020
for 20 years. That's the one that just collapsed when the Taliban walked in. But even the Afghan
00:18:14.640
National Army, first of all, was largely comprised or it largely comprised fake soldiers, ghost soldiers
00:18:20.400
who just existed on paper so that people could get paid, but they weren't real people in real life.
00:18:24.600
There was a report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction.
00:18:29.160
It showed that 50 to 75 percent of Afghan National Army soldiers were high on drugs a lot of the
00:18:34.680
time. When they weren't high on drugs, they were often stealing things. And in some cases,
00:18:38.820
especially in 2012, they were killing our own soldiers and their fellow Afghan National
00:18:42.820
Army soldiers. There was also, we talk about how awful it is that there are new sexual crimes
00:18:47.300
being perpetrated by the Taliban as they take over Kabul. Well, it turns out the Afghan National
00:18:51.480
Army, the good guys, our allies, were perpetrating huge amounts of sexual violence through a
00:18:55.720
practice called baka bazi. This was ritual called boy play. It was ritual pederastic abuse of young
00:19:02.540
boys. There were well over 5,000 reported incidents of this just to the oversight authorities. And
00:19:09.000
almost certainly the problem was much more widespread than that. So please, please, when you're telling me
00:19:13.880
about what we should do in Afghanistan, please spare me the sanctimony over our allies, because we have
00:19:18.800
no idea who our allies are, because there are no allies in Afghanistan, which is not a country.
00:19:22.280
It's not a nation. And our allies change by the day, sometimes by the hour. So yes, we all want to
00:19:30.440
evacuate people who are good guys, who are on our side, who help us out, and who want a vision of the
00:19:34.380
world that we do. But that's changed a lot over the years, okay? And I think this is what people's
00:19:40.900
exasperation with our foreign policy in Afghanistan, is that we have no idea what we want. Because it
00:19:46.460
became, one, initially it was this attack to go kill the terrorists who took down the towers.
00:19:51.940
Then it became this, this crusade for nation building and spreading liberal democracy and abolishing
00:19:56.980
tyranny from the world. Those are George W. Bush's words. And then it became what? About sending girls
00:20:01.960
to school or something? And that's why we're going to keep our guys in harm's way? What is it? What is it?
00:20:07.580
A sensible foreign policy asks basic questions. What do we want to have happened there now?
00:20:15.500
What do we stand to gain from it? How much are we willing to lose? That's what we have to ask. And
00:20:23.080
all of this claptrap about our allies, the wonderful, amazing, no, look, there are no allies. There are
00:20:30.100
interests in Afghanistan, okay? And the longer it takes us to learn that lesson, the worse off we're
00:20:36.300
going to be. Speaking of allies that we can't rely on, Mitt Romney goes on CNN, naturally. He's talking to
00:20:43.400
Jake Tapper. And he says, you know, this is not really just Biden's fault. It's Trump's fault too.
00:20:49.380
Leaving Americans behind and leaving our Afghan friends behind who've worked with us
00:20:54.900
would put upon us and will put upon us a moral stain. And this is the result of very ineffective
00:21:02.780
decisions, terrible decisions made by the prior administration and by the current administration.
00:21:06.880
This did not have to happen. It was preventable. And let me note, that's very different than the
00:21:12.840
military. Our military came in at the very last moment and has performed admirably, as far as I
00:21:18.080
can tell, to move people out as quickly as possible. But we didn't have to be in this rush, rush
00:21:22.640
circumstance with terrorists breathing down our neck. But it's really the responsibility of the prior
00:21:27.960
administration and this administration that has caused this crisis to be upon us and has led to what
00:21:33.840
is without question a humanitarian and foreign policy tragedy. Notice what's missing from Mitt Romney's
00:21:39.980
attack on Donald Trump here. Any specific allegation, any evidence. So he says, look, we didn't need to be
00:21:49.620
in this situation where the terrorists are breathing down our neck. Yeah, that's true. That's, um, that's
00:21:55.840
Trump's fault. Trump's been out of office for eight months. Trump said we'd get out by May.
00:22:01.340
This administration bungled that and didn't get out until late August. So now we have the
00:22:07.160
terrorists breathing down our neck. How's that Trump's fault? Well, we didn't need to be in a
00:22:11.300
rush. 20 years is a rush. That's a rush to you, Mitt Romney. But what, what Romney has to do is say,
00:22:19.420
no, it look, it's all, everyone's to blame. It's no one's fault in particular. And when people say no
00:22:25.640
one is to blame, nothing is to blame, it's everybody, it's all everybody together. What he's
00:22:31.460
trying to do is not change anything. What he's trying to say is, look, no, it's a, it's everybody's
00:22:37.100
fault. Don't hold anyone accountable. Don't come to any conclusions. We really, we just should have
00:22:41.300
stayed. We just should have stayed another 20 years or another 60 years or another 80 years because
00:22:46.100
Mitt Romney, a court jester conservative, a clown whose entire job is to legitimize the liberal
00:22:53.640
regime. He is there to just try to keep this whole thing going. But I think getting back to that
00:22:59.640
comment at the top of the show, the, the liberal establishment is, is cracking under the weight of
00:23:05.560
its own incoherence and illogic. We're seeing it happen. We're seeing this sort of fake
00:23:10.380
performative meta presidency in, in Joe Biden, the presidency that always talks about the presidency.
00:23:17.060
Okay. It reveals all the secrets of the presidency. I'm going to call on the people. They told me I
00:23:21.640
had to call on the people. I'm the president or Donald Trump. Oh yeah. I got to sound really
00:23:25.980
presidential. Don't I? We're, we're seeing it collapse. We're seeing the incoherence of our
00:23:31.440
Afghanistan policy in particular collapse in real time. And speaking of dishonest politicians
00:23:36.700
on CNN specifically, Dr. Fauci goes on CNN on the same show. He goes on Jake Tapper's show
00:23:43.820
and he complains about people attacking him. This guy talk about dragging out political operations.
00:23:54.820
We've dragged out Afghanistan for 20 years. We've dragged out the 15 days to slow the spread for
00:23:58.920
well over a year and a half now. And Dr. Fauci says, please, please stop attacking me right now.

00:24:34.400
Dr. Fauci can dish it, but he can't take it. Dr. Fauci can lock down our whole country for a year
00:24:50.880
and a half. He can lie to the American people. He can mislead people on the efficacy of various
00:24:55.320
measures. He can change his mind day by day, sometimes hour by hour. But the minute you
00:24:59.980
criticize him, all of a sudden, he wilts. He says, I'm not a politician. I'm a scientist. Why are you
00:25:06.720
Whoever is attacking me and attacking me, just a reflection of the politicization
00:25:11.180
of what should be a purely public health issue. And it's really unfortunate. You know,
00:25:16.800
they're attacking personally me because I'm a visible person. But I'm merely articulating
00:25:22.560
the proper public health practices that are recommended strongly by an organization. And
00:25:29.380
that organization is the CDC. So they like to pick out a certain person because they could
00:25:34.860
make that person, you know, the personification of political divides, which is so unfortunate,
00:25:40.500
Jake. We should put all of that aside. We have an extraordinary problem that's killing
00:25:46.080
people in the United States, killing us, putting us in the hospital. So that kind of
00:25:51.240
politicization that you just mentioned, there's no place for that when you're dealing with a public
00:25:56.400
health crisis. There is no place for politicization. He doesn't pronounce it correctly, but that's fine.
00:26:03.600
That just shows you how little he understands about politics and its relation to public policy.
00:26:09.200
He says, there's no place for politicization in public health.
00:26:16.020
Political means public. Public means political. Public health, public health policy is by definition
00:26:27.820
political. Dr. Fauci, a public health expert, policymaker, is by definition a politician.
00:26:38.520
He gets his paycheck from the government. He does things that pertain to the public with the support of the
00:26:46.360
government. And he's outlasted six presidents. He's on his sixth president right now. But he doesn't, he doesn't
00:26:53.500
even, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to ascribe to malice that which is explained by
00:26:57.420
ignorance and stupidity. Fauci doesn't even understand what public health is. We have a problem, Jake. We have a
00:27:07.280
problem of people dying here because of things that are happening in the public. Right. People are dying
00:27:13.280
because of the lockdowns. People are dying because of deaths of despair. People are dying because they
00:27:17.600
can't get their urgent medical treatment that is not related to COVID. They certainly were at the
00:27:21.960
beginning of the lockdowns. And that's on you, Fauci. And that's on you. I am merely a voice for the
00:27:28.160
proper public health measures. According to whom? Because according to me, look, I'm a citizen of the
00:27:34.540
United States. I'm a member of we, the people who are supposedly able to govern ourselves. And I don't
00:27:40.340
think that your measures are the proper public health measures. I think they're very improper.
00:27:44.980
And according to the constitution, I'm supposed to have some say in that. And actually, according to
00:27:48.660
the constitution, you're nowhere to be found other than as a private citizen who can vote. I don't see
00:27:52.980
the CDC in the constitution. I don't see the exalted Dr. Fauci in the constitution. There are entities
00:28:00.080
that have been created and brought into the government through the lawmaking bodies,
00:28:05.760
the lawmaking bodies that were established in the constitution over time. And they've been given
00:28:09.420
extraordinarily, extraordinary powers that have undermined the constitutional order. There's
00:28:14.040
no question about that. But as far as I can tell, we still have the opportunity to decide how we want
00:28:21.120
to live in our view. But in Fauci's view, you don't. You don't. You just need to go along.
00:28:26.820
People, why are they attacking me? Because you've usurped our power, our legitimate power
00:28:35.560
as a free people. That's why. And he doesn't even get it. It's such, it's a joke to him.
00:28:40.640
He doesn't even understand what he's done, which might be why we don't trust him to understand much
00:28:46.420
of anything else. Speaking of the politics of the coronavirus, you know, I hate to say I told you so.
00:28:54.680
You know, it pains me. I hate it. It's hard, but I, I told you so. Howard Dean, former presidential
00:29:02.080
candidate before he yee-hawed himself back out of the 2004 presidential race. Howard Dean,
00:29:10.140
former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Howard Dean, former governor of Vermont,
00:29:15.620
now just some guy who talks on MSNBC. Howard Dean busted out a line that I, I told you months and
00:29:23.100
months ago they were going to do. He busted it out a little earlier than I expected.
00:29:28.060
He says, you know, that Donald Trump, he was bad, but he was nowhere as bad as Ron DeSantis.
00:29:35.760
Well, I'm actually just shocked by DeSantis. I never thought I'd say this, but I think he may be
00:29:41.120
more of a lunatic than Trump ever was. I mean, Trump has finally come around to understanding that
00:29:45.980
the best thing he can do for his own supporters is get them to be vaccinated. DeSantis is just completely
00:29:51.540
out of touch with reality. Oh, DeSantis. Oh, he's much, he's like super mega duper Trump. He's,
00:29:57.960
oh yeah. Remember how, do you remember how for the past five years or probably six years now,
00:30:06.500
we've told you that Donald Trump is the singular threat. He is Hitler. He's unlike any other
00:30:11.100
Republican ever. How George Bush, who we used to tell you was Hitler, he, he, George Bush is great
00:30:16.800
now and he's good and he's a reasonable Republican and I've got a strange new respect for him and all
00:30:21.540
the other Republicans. Well, sure. I disagree with them, but they're fine. But Donald Trump,
00:30:25.720
he's the worst. He's a unique threat. He's Hitler. You can't vote for him. So they, they told you that
00:30:33.580
for five years. And, and at the time I said, you know, they don't mean this. Trump's fine. He's
00:30:40.080
governing just like a, like a normal Republican in many ways, actually. He's sort of returning to a more
00:30:44.460
normal Republican vibe, like pre Bush era, but they're just going to do it to the next guy.
00:30:52.220
And the Democrats assured me, they said, no, we won't Michael. I told this to my Democrat friends
00:30:57.120
and relatives. I said, you're just going to do it to the next guy. You're going to say the next guy's
00:31:00.000
worse than Trump. No, we, Trump is unique. He's the worst ever. I said, no, you're not. You're
00:31:04.400
going to find whoever it is. Maybe that person is going to be, I don't know, Josh Hawley. Maybe,
00:31:10.640
I don't know, it could be Nikki Haley. It could be, it is a various times in
00:31:14.360
the administration, different characters were popping up a little better than others. It could
00:31:17.260
be Ted Cruz. It could be Ron DeSantis. Now it, whoever it's going to be, you're going to tell
00:31:24.320
me that he is worse than Trump or she is worse than Trump. And I was told, no, Michael, Trump's
00:31:30.180
unique. I think the left really believed it. They really believed the lines that they were
00:31:35.440
spewing that Trump is this unique threat. But now ahead of schedule, now we're not, this is 2021
00:31:41.740
still. We are already being told Ron DeSantis is much worse than Donald Trump. He makes Trump
00:31:47.340
look sane. And you know what's going to happen? Let's say, let's say the Democrats are obviously
00:31:52.680
afraid of DeSantis right now. Let's say DeSantis becomes the nominee. It's still very early to
00:31:56.740
call that, but let's say he becomes a nominee. Let's say he becomes president and then they're
00:32:00.020
going to, this is what's going to happen. They're going to call him Hitler for four years
00:32:04.740
or at least as long and it may perhaps they impeach him and remove him from office. Maybe he wins a
00:32:10.600
second term. Maybe it's eight years. They're going to call him Hitler every day for eight years. And
00:32:15.380
they're going to say he's the unique threat and all I miss the good old days of Donald Trump and all
00:32:19.260
the good old days of George Bush and all the good old days of Ronald Reagan, all of whom we called
00:32:24.220
Nazis at the time. And then if DeSantis leaves office and some other guy come, they're going to say
00:32:29.900
DeSantis was the good guy and the new guy's Hitler. That's the way it works.
00:32:36.240
Do you get it yet? Do you see it? I mean, this was, this was my big problem with never Trump
00:32:40.240
or then what became in 2020, in the 2020 election, the re-election, they became Republicans for Biden,
00:32:48.100
Republicans for principles, defending democracy and principles and the evangelicals for Biden,
00:32:55.140
evangelicals for a million abortions a year, evangelicals for a debacle in Afghanistan.
00:32:59.900
The dignified adults. At the time I said, I don't know what your principles are. You don't
00:33:07.840
seem to have very much dignity and you don't realize it's just an op. This is just propaganda.
00:33:13.180
It's just BS. Trump actually is a very good president, but even if he weren't,
00:33:18.800
he certainly is not the unique threat of Hitler. And they didn't get it. Do you get it? Do you get it
00:33:24.040
now? I think you probably do. Some people are holding strong. Some people who are more independent
00:33:29.420
minded who are on the left or on the right. I'm thinking of Joe Rogan, who at times he seems like
00:33:34.280
a left winger. At times he seems like a right winger. He was a Bernie guy, but then he was a
00:33:37.940
Trump guy. He's not a Biden guy. He's not an establishment guy. Joe Rogan's still holding
00:33:43.060
pretty strong. We're now being told by the Fauci's of the world and all of them that if you in any way
00:33:48.880
resist efforts to mandate the masks and mandate the vaccine, you're a murderer, you're a threat
00:33:56.560
to public health, you're politicizing everything. But Rogan's not hearing it. Rogan is holding a show
00:34:03.720
at Madison Square Garden. He's sold a zillion tickets already. And now in New York, they're
00:34:08.220
mandating the vaccine just like they are in parts of Europe. And so Rogan faces this problem. Is he going
00:34:14.400
to force his fans, many of whom have bought tickets already, to get the vaccine? Or is he
00:34:21.260
going to fight back? Here's Rogan's take. If someone has, you know, an ideological or a
00:34:30.580
physiological reason for not getting vaccinated, I don't want to force them to get vaccinated to see
00:34:35.680
a stupid comedy show. And I've already sold 13,000 tickets. And now they say that everybody has to be
00:34:41.580
vaccinated. And, you know, I want everybody to know that, you know, you can get your money back.
00:34:47.300
I'm not, I'm not an anti-vax person. Right. In fact, I said, I believe they're safe. And I encourage
00:34:53.600
many people to take them. My parents were vaccinated. I just said, I don't think that if you're a young,
00:34:59.260
healthy person that you need it. Their argument was, you need it for other people. So you don't
00:35:04.940
transmit the virus. That makes more sense. So I'm a young, that's a different argument.
00:35:08.320
Yeah. And, and by the way, what Joe is leaving unsaid here, at least in this little clip
00:35:13.220
is, okay, so now their argument is you don't need it for yourself. Cause if you're vaccinated,
00:35:17.700
you're totally fine. And you know, you're, you're not going to face serious consequences of the virus.
00:35:21.700
And if you're unvaccinated, you're taking that risk. But if you're unvaccinated, you're risking
00:35:25.800
infecting others, except that we are now told by the studies, by the science that the vaccinated and
00:35:33.280
the unvaccinated are carrying similar viral loads that they might not be as likely to face
00:35:37.900
hospitalization or death, but they are as likely to carry and transmit the virus.
00:35:42.380
So then do you see the problem here for the people saying you need to get vaxxed for others?
00:35:47.420
Whether you're vaxxed or unvaxxed, you may very well carry the virus and transmit it to others.
00:35:52.240
The thing that's going to determine whether you go to the hot, whether anyone goes to the hospital or
00:35:55.700
dies, according to the science, according to the experts, according to the politicians,
00:35:59.620
is whether or not you have the vaccine. So it falls right back to this question of personal choice,
00:36:07.500
personal prudential judgment. What risk am I going to take? As Joe Rogan correctly says,
00:36:14.220
if you are a young person, you are at a very, very low risk of facing serious complications of the
00:36:22.260
virus. If you're a morbidly obese 85 year old, maybe you're at a higher risk. Okay. Maybe you're going
00:36:28.880
to have a different calculation. But if you're a young person, the arguments that the people who
00:36:35.220
are mandating vaccines are making don't make any sense. They don't make any sense at all. And so
00:36:40.140
Rogan hats off to him. He's saying, you know, if I don't, I don't feel comfortable mandating that my
00:36:48.140
audience gets the vaccine. So you can have your money back. Now, Eric Clapton is going even further
00:36:54.060
than that. Clapton's saying he will not play at venues because Eric Clapton had the vaccine. So
00:36:59.060
he was open to it. It's not like he's totally anti-vax. He was open to it. He had a very negative
00:37:02.640
reaction. We know the CDC and the FDA have told us that you can have negative reactions to this
00:37:06.480
vaccine. There have been to these vaccines. There have been multiple reported incidents of them.
00:37:11.460
And Clapton said, yeah, really paralyzed my hands. I couldn't play for a while. So I'm not playing
00:37:15.080
to houses that are mandating the vax. Rogan is taking a sort of middle ground here and he's saying,
00:37:21.400
look, I'll play, I guess, especially since we booked the show before the city mandated this.
00:37:27.540
But there is no way I'm forcing my guys to get this vaccine. Absolutely right.
00:37:32.500
We are living in a world right now where you can't trust the president of the United States.
00:37:36.580
You can't trust the military leadership. They've all lost their freaking minds.
00:37:39.780
You can't trust the public health experts because they've been wrong about a lot of stuff. And in some
00:37:43.400
cases have lied to you. You're living in a world where Joe Rogan is a much more credible person
00:37:47.840
than most of our elected and appointed leaders. Speaking of performances, Olivia Rodrigo. Olivia
00:37:57.480
Rodrigo is apparently a popular musician. I had never heard of her until a month or two ago when
00:38:02.740
there was some story about something she had done. And I don't even remember what she had done.
00:38:07.760
Apparently she's a very popular musician, has had a bunch of number one songs. And yet I don't,
00:38:13.000
what do I know? I'm not, this is not the sort of person that I pay attention to. But I've now heard
00:38:18.040
of her for the second time. And this is not because of any music she's made. It's because
00:38:21.220
of something she said. She said in a magazine interview, quote, I sometimes get DMs from little
00:38:27.780
girls being like, I've never seen someone who looked like me in your position. And I'm literally
00:38:33.780
going to cry, like just thinking about it. Rodrigo, 18, said in the V magazine feature,
00:38:38.880
I feel like I grew up never seeing that. Also, it was always like pop star. That's a white girl.
00:38:45.000
So first of all, this girl looks pretty white. I don't, you know, I guess she's Hispanic with a
00:38:49.380
name like Rodrigo, but she looks pretty white to begin with. And she's, she's using this line that
00:38:54.300
you, you constantly hear from the race hustlers and, and the victim people. And it says that I,
00:39:00.400
you know, growing up, I never saw, oh, she's Filipino. Apparently the producers tell me she's
00:39:03.720
Filipino. Okay, whatever. She just, she looks, oh, I wouldn't know. She's ethnically
00:39:08.340
ambiguous. Let's put it that way. But apparently this is the defining feature of her personality,
00:39:13.160
of who she is. And she comes out and says, you know, it's, I never saw people who looked like me
00:39:22.160
and the little girls today never see anyone who looked like them. Now, some people are responding
00:39:28.040
and saying, hold on lady, um, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, uh, hold on. I pretty sure we've seen
00:39:35.480
some black popular musicians or Hispanic popular musicians before. And, or at least in, I guess,
00:39:42.920
to go to her example, non-white popular musicians. But I want to be really fair. Okay. Cause she said
00:39:48.600
pop star. She said pop stars were always white. So yeah, sure. Maybe soul singers, R and B, hip hop,
00:39:54.660
jazz, maybe they're black, but we've never seen non-white girl pop stars, right?
00:40:01.400
So I took a little, I just took a little trip down Google, looked up, uh, this girl, Olivia Rodrigo was
00:40:08.780
born in 2003, apparently. 2003, Grammy for pop vocalist winner, Nora Jones, Indian woman. Grammy for
00:40:17.660
pop album goes to Norman Brown, the black guy. Grammy for pop vocal collaboration, Santana, Hispanic,
00:40:25.500
and Michelle Branch, Indo. 2004, this is the next, she's one year old now. Pop vocalist,
00:40:32.200
Christina Aguilera, Hispanic. Pop collaboration, Mary J. Blige. 2005, Nora Jones wins a bunch again,
00:40:39.700
Indian woman, including one with Ray Charles, who's a black guy. 2006, this is all in the pop category.
00:40:45.640
Stevie Wonder is a winner. De La Soul is a winner. Black guys. 2007, Christina Aguilera is a winner.
00:40:52.460
Black Eyed Peas winner. Stevie Wonder. Al Jarreau.
00:40:58.520
For this girl's entire life, it has seemed, if you're just looking at the billboard charts and
00:41:04.120
you're just looking at the Grammys, there is no reason for any non-white girl to think it is
00:41:11.000
impossible to become a big pop star if you're non-white. Frankly, you would be more likely to
00:41:18.120
think that if you were a white girl during this era, you might, if you were a white girl during
00:41:24.080
this era, you might look at the pop charts and think, man, a white girl just can't make it in
00:41:27.060
this world. This is not the industry for white girls looking at, but, but because we are living
00:41:34.280
in surreality, we're living in unreality, we're living in a delusion right now.
00:41:39.860
Many people believe this. We are living in a delusion. The White House is living in a delusion.
00:41:48.020
The top military brass is living in a delusion. All of us here in the culture are living in a
00:41:52.740
delusion and delusions have consequences because delusions run up against reality sometimes in Kabul
00:42:01.500
in the United States. And when delusions run up against reality, reality wins.
00:42:08.640
And it's not, it's funny. I mean, we can make fun of Rodrigo or who, we can make fun of Mark Milley,
00:42:13.620
you know, the pink haired woke chairman of the Joint Chiefs. We can make fun of that sergeant,
00:42:18.960
that sergeant major. We can make fun of Biden. But there are real world consequences here.
00:42:23.200
There's a Virginia school district right now. We're getting ready for the 20th anniversary of the
00:42:28.620
September 11th terror attacks. A Virginia school district is telling a teacher,
00:42:34.000
telling not just one teacher, but all of their teachers, to avoid talking about Muslim terror.
00:42:38.780
Virginia's Department of Education, the whole statewide Department of Education,
00:42:43.220
hosted a speaker who instructed teachers to exclude the role that Muslim extremism played in 9-11.
00:42:48.600
This woman, Amara Dequeer, who did a PowerPoint called Education Leadership. Oh, I'm sorry. This woman
00:42:56.840
is an education leadership scholar. She offered a PowerPoint to these teachers. She said that
00:43:01.960
teachers should avoid using language that could pin those events on Muslim extremists. Quote,
00:43:06.780
school and classroom 9-11 commemorations are sites for increased anti-Muslim racism.
00:43:15.620
Do you see the problem even with just that statement? Muslim is not a race. Islam is not a race. It's a
00:43:25.040
religion. And it is the religion in whose name the terrorists took down the Twin Towers. And it
00:43:32.500
wasn't senseless violence. And it wasn't racist. We now say all bad things are racist. It wasn't any of
00:43:36.860
that. It was religious. They had ideas. And they followed those ideas to their logical conclusion.
00:43:43.560
They had erroneous ideas. They had delusions. And they follow those delusions into reality. And it had
00:43:50.280
really negative consequences. Before we go, speaking of crazy teachers, I can't go a full
00:43:56.420
day without a Libs of TikTok video featuring a teacher who just came out as non-binary.
00:44:07.500
So I have a quick announcement for everybody. Can everybody look up from their phones? My class
00:44:12.080
is important, please. Hello. I'm waiting. You guys look at me. So I usually go by Mr. Johnson,
00:44:20.640
but I would like to be called Zoa now. My name is Zoa, and I'm non-binary. So you can call me Mr. Zoa.
00:44:28.260
You can call me Miss Zoa. You can call me Mix Zoa. That's M-X period. And I go by all pronouns.
00:44:47.480
The thing is, though, he's not non-binary. He's a man. He's a crazy man who should not be teaching
00:44:52.200
children. He's living in a delusion. He's encouraging a whole generation of kids to live
00:44:56.000
in a delusion. His own classroom, but this is happening at the national level, too. And that
00:45:01.040
delusion, we all cheer it on now. Wow, I'm so proud of you. You're exploring your fantasies,
00:45:06.020
your delusions. Those delusions are going to have consequences, and they ain't going to be good.

Today on The Matt Walsh Show, a prominent psychologist suggests that white people should
00:46:08.660
kill themselves, while another worries that white people are haunted by the ghosts of whiteness,
00:46:12.800
whatever that means. It's just more radical leftism for mental health professionals. The
00:46:15.680
entire industry is rife with it. We'll talk about the consequences of that fact today. Also,
00:46:19.220
Dr. Fauci endorses vaccine mandates for children and makes a predictably misleading argument in favor
00:46:24.640
of them. We'll talk about all that and much more today on The Matt Walsh Show.
