The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 891 - The Media's War On White Men

00:00:00.000 Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts on Friday, and the left is not taking it

00:00:04.720 well. Troy Gaston, a BLM leader in Chicago, summed up the response.

00:00:10.460 I want y'all to make some noise for being survivors, man. For having the courage,

00:00:16.160 for having the courage to come back out here when the system told us that we do not have a voice.

00:00:23.620 Because if you come out here, under these situations, we will be shut down.

00:00:30.800 That's what the verdict was all about. It was telling us to be silent,

00:00:38.400 under the threat of complete violence.

00:00:43.360 Say hell no. Hell no. Hell no. 0.87

00:00:50.240 Today, we come out here simply to be recognized as people

00:01:00.000 who deserve to live and be treated with equality and respect.

00:01:07.360 Does anybody believe that BLM is not treated with respect? That BLM is not recognized?

00:01:16.160 If BLM is not treated with equality, that is only because it is given deferential treatment.

00:01:24.880 BLMers get plea deals and dismissal of charges for spending six months looting and burning cities 1.00

00:01:30.440 coast to coast. Meanwhile, horn hat wearing goofballs, rotten solitary confinement for making a mess of

00:01:36.740 Nancy Pelosi's office. But in this case, in the Rittenhouse case, the evidence was so weak that even

00:01:42.240 a unified liberal establishment could not succeed in sending a teenager to jail for killing a serial

00:01:47.520 child rapist in self-defense. So what does BLM want now?

00:01:52.320 We wait for the federal government to charge the Rittenhouse with first-degree murder.

00:01:58.800 If you don't win at the state level, take it to the federal. If at first you don't succeed,

00:02:02.640 try, try again. The right is celebrating a victory for the rule of law, which the persistent left

00:02:08.240 is already back at work to undermine. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:20.000 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday from Brian Boggs, who says,

00:02:23.580 the prosecutors can take comfort in the fact that we all take a beating sometimes. That's true.

00:02:29.000 That was one of their arguments in the case, and they just got beaten. Sorry, buddy, but you know,

00:02:34.720 we all take a beating sometimes. One way that we're all very often getting beat is when big tech comes

00:02:42.500 in and takes all of our data and spies on us and has a lot of information. So how do you protect

00:02:47.560 yourself against that? You check out ExpressVPN. Chances are the browser you're using right now

00:02:53.200 has made its fortune by tracking your movements online. So I have a feeling if you're listening

00:03:00.520 to this show. Maybe sometimes you use that incognito window. You know, you want to hide

00:03:06.820 something. You're looking at some dubious websites like dailywire.com. You know what I'm talking about?

00:03:12.520 Well, incognito does not mean invisible, all right? How do you actually make yourself as invisible as

00:03:17.520 possible online? You use ExpressVPN like I do. You've got to make sure that your online activity is not

00:03:23.820 getting tracked. His data brokers are going out and buying and selling your data. One of the data

00:03:29.940 points is your IP address. Data harvesters use your IP to uniquely identify you and your location.

00:03:36.620 But with ExpressVPN, your connection gets rerouted through an encrypted server, and your IP address

00:03:41.340 is masked. Best of all, ExpressVPN is super duper easy to use. One button, use it on your phone,

00:03:46.380 on your tablet, on your laptop. If you really want to go incognito for real, protect your privacy.

00:04:02.260 Breaking news right now. Breaking news this morning out of Waukesha, Wisconsin. There was a parade in

00:04:08.560 Waukesha, and someone drove an SUV speeding down the parade trying to kill as many people as possible

00:04:16.140 by all appearances. Five people are dead. Forty people are injured. There is footage. We're not

00:04:22.740 going to play it. It's very difficult to watch, and I don't think there's any reason to play it.

00:04:28.060 Andy Ngo right now, who has done a great job exposing militant leftist groups, Antifa and BLM,

00:04:35.360 Andy Ngo is reporting that the suspect who was arrested is a BLM supporter. He's a young black male.

00:04:42.760 His social media is apparently riddled with pro-BLM, George Floyd riot types of posts.

00:04:51.880 He reportedly, again, not just from Andy Ngo, but other outlets are reporting that he was out on a

00:04:57.120 $1,000 bail earlier this week for an earlier crime, and so because of the compassionate policy of letting

00:05:04.760 criminals off the hook, now five people are dead at least, and 40 people are injured. We don't know

00:05:11.360 for certain that he was a BLM supporter, but the attack did take place an hour outside of Kenosha.

00:05:18.160 It would appear, at least, that there is some connection there, but the cops are quiet about

00:05:23.260 this, so we don't have any confirmed information yet. Very difficult to believe that this was an

00:05:30.140 accident. Doesn't look like an accident at all. More from the mostly peaceful crowd.

00:05:36.700 Meanwhile, CNN, CNN. We're going to hold off reporting more on that until more information's

00:05:42.440 available. Meanwhile, CNN has this headline. There's nothing more frightening in America today

00:05:47.920 than an angry white man. There it is. There it is. You awful white man. I'm sure some of you in the 0.98

00:05:54.780 audience, at least, are white men. Some of you are probably pretty angry hearing that headline. Well,

00:05:58.600 you're the most dangerous person in America, according to John Blake, some race hustler at CNN.

00:06:03.500 Now, there are a lot of problems with this headline. The first one is, it's just not true.

00:06:09.480 Okay. It's offensive. It's racist. It's mean spirit. It's divisive. Sure. It's also just not

00:06:15.300 true. Here we have a report from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs,

00:06:20.760 Bureau of Justice Statistics. This is from January 2021. Here's race and ethnicity of violent crime

00:06:26.800 offenders and arrestees 2018. Here is the first sentence of the first paragraph. In 2018,

00:06:33.140 based on data from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting Program, black people were overrepresented

00:06:38.320 among persons arrested for nonfatal violent crimes and for serious nonfatal violent crimes relative

00:06:43.760 to their representation in the U.S. population. White people were underrepresented. White people

00:06:49.380 accounted for 60% of U.S. residents, but 46% of all persons arrested for rape, robbery, aggravated

00:06:54.880 assault, and other assault, and 39% of all arrestees for nonfatal violent crimes, excluding other

00:06:59.780 assault. Hispanics, regardless of their race, were overrepresented among arrestees for nonfatal

00:07:05.080 violent crimes, excluding other assault relative to their population or representation in the U.S.

00:07:10.360 population. So, and not angry white men. Angry white men, basically the least likely to attack you. 0.90

00:07:17.980 Now, what the left will say is, well, Michael, those statistics by definition are only representing

00:07:23.200 people who are arrested for these crimes. So, it might be the case that white people are committing 0.87

00:07:27.780 a gazillion murders. They're just not getting arrested for it. In order to believe that, 0.99

00:07:32.340 you need to believe that there is some conspiracy either of black victims or white victims or Hispanic

00:07:39.540 victims or any kind of victims who are all colluding together not to report certain crimes to the police

00:07:47.200 because they don't want white men to get in trouble. In order to believe that, you have to believe that,

00:07:53.540 for instance, the New York Police Department, which is majority minority, right? It's not,

00:07:57.060 not majority white, is colluding just to make sure that white people don't show up in the crime 0.68

00:08:04.860 statistics. But, of course, that's not the case. Okay? So, the first part of the headline that's

00:08:08.820 false is the headline, right? I mean, rather, the first part that's wrong about the headline is just

00:08:16.200 that it isn't true. Here's a quote from it. This angry white man has been a major character

00:08:22.180 throughout U.S. history. He gave the country slavery, the slaughter of Native Americans, 0.60

00:08:27.420 and Jim Crow laws. Again, that's not true. The white man didn't give the country slavery. He

00:08:35.020 didn't create slavery. Slavery was practiced in Africa long before the white man ever got there

00:08:39.480 and was practiced long after the white man left or after the transatlantic slave trade.

00:08:44.140 Not just Africa. Slavery is practiced everywhere in the world outside of the West. The unique thing 0.89

00:08:49.140 about the West is not that we created slavery. It's that we abolished slavery. That's what's

00:08:54.920 unique about the West. The slaughter of Native Americans. Native Americans were slaughtering 0.99

00:08:59.200 one another long before the white man ever got here. Okay? And the slaughter continued after the 0.88

00:09:03.440 white man arrived. Just a few years before Columbus's arrival in the Americas, the Aztecs slaughtered 80,000

00:09:09.940 people in four days at the consecration of Tenochtitlan. That's just one Native American 1.00

00:09:15.900 nation. Just one among many, many, many. And Jim Crow laws. Okay, I guess the white man did that. 0.88

00:09:22.900 One out of three. One out of three. Now, what's more interesting about this headline to me than just

00:09:30.200 the race hustling, which is so typical of CNN. And yes, it's obviously ridiculous, but whatever. 0.90

00:09:36.560 What's more interesting than that to me is the victim mentality. You saw that actually in the video 0.68

00:09:45.100 from Kenosha, where that other race hustler had justice for victims. Or I'm sorry, the video was

00:09:50.120 from Chicago, but it was about what was going on in Kenosha. It said justice for victims.

00:09:55.680 Although right now there is a revolt against Western civilization and really what you'd call

00:10:00.100 Christendom, right? Christianity. The concern for victims is exclusively a creation of Judaism and 1.00

00:10:09.620 Christianity. The concern for victims, taking the side of victims, does not exist in non-Jewish and 0.97

00:10:17.880 non-Christian cultures. Okay, you see it uniquely in the Bible. And then it finds its fullest expression 0.89

00:10:24.560 in Christianity through the passion of Christ, where not only does God take the side of the victims,

00:10:29.200 but God actually is the victim here and takes the side of the victims, right? This is an idea

00:10:34.320 that was expounded upon by a sociologist by the name of René Girard, who died only recently. He was

00:10:41.660 at Stanford. And he has this idea that at the heart of culture is rivalry, mimetic rivalry, that we kind

00:10:51.400 of imitate one another. And because of this, we end up killing one another. We end up in a state of war

00:10:56.620 of all against all. This is why all the stories about the creation of civilization tend to involve

00:11:01.280 brothers, right? Romulus and Remus, Cain and Abel, these two mirrors of one another that become more

00:11:07.680 and more rivalistic. And then eventually this leads to a murder. And when you take it beyond just one

00:11:16.600 person against one person, you see it in scapegoating. The idea that the only way for the culture,

00:11:21.280 the society to resolve all of this tension is to scapegoat someone. Literally, the scapegoat would be

00:11:25.740 to put all of the evils and all of the sins onto a goat and then send the goat out into the wilderness

00:11:29.500 or to just attack one group of people or to attack one person. And the trick about scapegoating is

00:11:35.780 you never know when you're the one doing it. When you're scapegoating, you always think that

00:11:41.660 you're completely justified and you're on the, we all do this. You never are aware of that. And what

00:11:46.620 the left isn't aware of right now is that they are scapegoating in the law, in the media, in the

00:11:51.360 culture, they are scapegoating. The straight white male is the cause of all the evils in the world, 0.95

00:11:55.060 according to them. And they think, they think preposterously that they're on the side of 0.95

00:12:00.680 justice. When all this political craziness, it really makes you want to have some tangible assets,

00:12:08.480 which is why I would recommend you check out Acre Gold. Inflation is going through the roof.

00:13:12.820 Nicole Hannah-Jones. She is the fabulist behind the 1619 Project at the New York Times.

00:13:19.660 She's the one who pushed this now mainstream thesis that America was founded to defend slavery. It's

00:13:25.620 completely without evidence. Actually, the New York Times had to admit that the central thesis

00:13:30.160 was BS, but it doesn't matter. They keep promoting it anyway, and now it's made its way into schools.

00:13:34.900 So for Nicole Hannah-Jones, everything, every single thing must be the fault of white people 0.95

00:13:39.900 and white supremacy. So after the Rittenhouse verdict, she tweeted out, quote, 0.93

00:13:43.620 in this country, you can even kill white people and get away with it if those white people are 1.00

00:13:48.820 fighting for black lives. This is the legacy of 1619. Nicole Hannah-Jones knows that she can't say 1.00

00:13:56.040 that Kyle Rittenhouse killed black people because he didn't kill any black people, and the media tried

00:14:03.840 to present it as though that were the case, but the only people that Kyle Rittenhouse shot 0.99

00:14:07.160 were white people. So Nicole Hannah-Jones, in order to make her theory fit, she needs to make

00:14:16.840 those white people that Rittenhouse killed into black people or into avatars of black people. 0.97

00:14:23.480 Now, all the white people that Rittenhouse killed were trying to kill Rittenhouse. 1.00

00:14:27.040 Beyond that, one of the people Rittenhouse killed was a serial child rapist. 0.99

00:14:35.260 Another guy that Rittenhouse killed beat women in his own family. I think he beat his own mother. 0.99

00:14:39.100 I mean, these are people who are so cartoonishly evil that if you turned it into a Hollywood producer 1.00

00:14:44.280 and you said, hey, here's the Kenosha story, and this kid is going to kill a child rapist and a 0.96

00:14:51.260 mother beater and all these, the producer would look at you and say, that's a little too on the nose, 0.99

00:14:56.200 buddy. Come on, that's a little ridiculous. There's no way. But what is astounding to me is 0.99

00:15:02.880 not that in this country you can even kill white people and get away with it if they're fighting 0.98

00:15:06.280 for black lives, the legacy of 1619. What's astounding to me is that in this country, 0.98

00:15:11.840 journalists will lament the death of a serial child rapist who was shot while trying to kill

00:15:17.420 a 17-year-old because that's the legacy of the 1960s, right? That's the legacy. And what it comes out of,

00:15:25.240 it gets back to this idea of the victim mechanism. The left wants to take the side of the victim.

00:15:34.480 I want to be as charitable as I can to the left. They think they're taking the side of the victim.

00:15:38.660 They think the victim is black people and brown people and women and people who have different

00:15:43.560 sexual desires and the marginalized and the oppressed and whatever, right? So that's,

00:15:48.260 they're taking the side of the victim against the evil white man who's the cause of all the evil in the 0.99

00:15:52.240 world. Christianity, right? The prevailing society. And Christianity too is taking the side of the 0.99

00:16:00.600 victims. Any concern for victims that anyone has ever had in the world comes out of Christianity, 0.88

00:16:06.120 comes out of Christian culture. And so now you've got these two rivals. And actually this sociologist

00:16:12.160 Rene Girard makes the point that wokeism, he doesn't call it this because it was a little too early,

00:16:16.840 but what he's referring to as wokeism or political correctness is a kind of mirror of Christianity.

00:16:23.980 And now they too are locked in a kind of rivalry. And, and the, the, the problem of this of course,

00:16:30.960 is you can never see that you are the one scapegoating people. So, so Nicole Hannah-Jones,

00:16:38.620 who is a very prominent person, she's maybe not a very intelligent person or a very serious,

00:16:42.980 but she's very prominent. She can actually twist herself into a logical pretzel to say that a white 1.00

00:16:49.260 kid shooting a couple of white criminals who were trying to shoot him or trying to kill him more 0.97

00:16:55.200 broadly, one was trying to shoot him, that somehow that is an example of white supremacy. This is 0.99

00:17:04.600 critical race theory. We talk about critical race theory and it's, it seems like this very nebulous

00:17:09.680 concept. What everything is critical race theory or the left does nothing as critical race theory.

00:17:14.220 So Winsome Sears, who, who just became the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, she was running along with 0.96

00:17:21.880 Glenn Youngkin. Winsome Sears, a black woman herself, just went on CNN and, and encountered the line that

00:17:31.240 we're all encountering about critical race theory. This is the official party line of CNN, namely,

00:17:35.880 critical race theory is not being taught in schools. And she says that's bunk.

00:17:42.560 You oppose critical race theory being taught in schools, which I should say is not part of

00:17:47.680 Virginia's curriculum. You did say though, that the good and the bad of American history should be

00:17:53.920 taught. And, uh, that we should also tell viewers, you're the former vice president of the Virginia

00:17:59.500 Board of Education. So explain how you think race should be taught in Virginia public schools.

00:18:06.880 Well, let me back up. I beg to differ that CRT is not taught.

00:18:12.000 I didn't say that. I just said it's not in the curriculum, just to be clear.

00:18:15.940 No, no, no, no. It is part of the curriculum. It's weaved in and out of the curriculum. In fact,

00:18:20.920 in 2015, former governor, uh, who was just defeated McAuliffe, his state board of education

00:18:27.760 had information on how to teach it. So it's weaved in. So, you know, it's semantics, but it's weaved

00:18:33.520 in. So love this. She won't let CNN get away with this. CNN says beep, boop, beep, beep, boop. No

00:18:40.500 critical race theory in schools and Virginia schools. Beep, beep, beep, boop. I'm a, I'm a talking head on

00:18:45.100 CNN. And then the person they're talking to is the former vice president of the Virginia school

00:18:50.920 board. So she says, actually, uh, CNN lady, you have no idea what you're talking about. And I

00:18:55.460 worked in this very closely and absolutely critical race theory is being taught in Virginia schools.

00:19:01.560 And we just won an election because of that. And then the CNN lady is smart enough to know that 0.84

00:19:06.440 she's not going to be able to win the point. She's not going to be able to refute that fact with

00:19:11.160 Winsome Sears. So she says, well, no, no, no. I didn't say it's not being taught. I said it's

00:19:17.540 not in the curriculum, which is a distinction without a difference. Even the point, the side

00:19:28.240 point she's trying to make, even the retreating point she's trying to make is not true. The

00:19:32.700 curriculum is the schedule of things that are taught. If something is taught, it is in the

00:19:40.380 curriculum. Well, no, it's just some one random teacher saying something. That's what the left

00:19:46.560 might say. No, it's just some teacher going off script. No, it's not. It's being taught

00:19:49.440 as a part of the program. It is in the curriculum, which is what Winsome Sears is saying.

00:19:54.780 And the way the left tries to get away with this line is they say, well, there is no unit

00:19:59.560 of critical race theory. It's not as though students are taught, okay, now we're going to learn about the

00:20:03.520 American revolution. And now we're going to learn about, you know, the enlightenment. And now we're

00:20:08.500 going to learn about critical race theory. And now we're going to learn about calculus, right? It's

00:20:12.660 not, that's not how it's taught, but that's not what critical race theory is. Critical race theory

00:20:17.240 isn't a specific academic, it is a movement. It's not a specific academic field or unit. It is an

00:20:29.700 analytical framework. So it's not taught as just one thing. Critical race theory is a lens through which

00:20:37.140 you view all the other things. So no, you're not going to spend two weeks learning critical race

00:20:42.320 theory. You're going to spend a whole school year learning critical race theory as it pertains to

00:20:48.380 history, as it pertains to literature, as it pertains to economics, as it pertains to everything. And

00:20:53.080 that's what Winsome Sears has to say. It's much worse. Don't let them tell you that there's no lesson

00:20:59.440 on critical race theory in schools. It's much worse than that. It's in all of the lessons.

00:21:03.060 Critical race theory says that everything about America is hopelessly rotten because it is all 0.96

00:21:11.520 formed by white supremacy. And so everything about America, the culture, the tastes, the history, 0.72

00:21:19.360 the military movements, the form of government, the form of economics, it's all hopelessly, 0.98

00:21:26.300 irredeemably rotten because of white supremacy. And it's all going to be ripped out by the root. 0.95

00:21:31.740 And beyond that, if you can get the left to admit that critical race theory does play some role in

00:21:41.240 the education as that CNN lady started to have to admit, the next thing that I'll tell you is 0.99

00:21:45.780 that you as a parent have no right to stop it. This was another, this was a really great weekend for

00:21:53.700 dumb columns on legacy media outlets. There was a piece that went up on NBC. This is by 0.97

00:22:01.240 Christina Wyman, who is the author of some, some new novel. And she's a, I guess an educator. She's a

00:22:09.840 former, at least a former middle school teacher. And she's, she has very strong views on, on the role

00:22:16.860 that parents should have in their kids' education. She really thinks that parents should have no role.

00:22:20.680 And so she published on NBC what I think it, I don't want to be hyperbolic here. It, it might be the

00:22:29.460 dumbest thing I've ever read. And, and I read a lot of really, really dumb things. This might be, 1.00

00:22:36.860 this might take the cake. The headline is schools face parents who want to ban critical race theory

00:22:41.940 and don't get how teaching works. So it's not that they don't get what critical race theory is. It's not

00:22:47.160 that they don't get how the, how the schools are ordering their curricula. It's that they don't get

00:22:50.720 what teaching is. Subheader, an educator's top goal is to teach students to think. Parents who

00:22:56.780 dictate curricula with their personal opinions, ideologies, and biases hinder that goal.

00:23:03.580 Forget about teachers who, who imbue the curricula with their opinions, ideologies, and biases. That,

00:23:09.440 it's the parents who have any say over what is taught. They are a threat to education. 0.69

00:23:18.060 Got to watch out how these people use language. Like for instance, a lot of times at the grocery

00:23:21.820 store, ranchers will use this language, you know, made in America or USA meat. And it won't really be

00:23:27.660 that. It'll actually be meat that's imported from say Latin America. And then they just slap a USA 0.84

00:23:32.580 label on it. Don't get tricked. Check out the good ranchers. Since 2015, over 100,000 independent

00:23:39.320 farms and ranches in the U.S. have shut down. Why? Because foreign meat is stealing their business 0.99

00:23:44.720 and robbing you of the quality and flavor that you deserve. That is why Good Ranchers is here.

00:25:59.020 NBC, a writer for NBC and a former teacher says that you as a parent have absolutely no right

00:26:05.760 to have a say in your kid's education. She writes, quote, parents have always tried to

00:26:09.700 interfere with curricula as I observed when teaching middle school in the mid 2000s. Even then,

00:26:14.840 there was no shortage of parental input about the content of my instruction from books to test

00:26:19.100 questions. Part of the problem is that parents think that they have the right to control teaching

00:26:23.100 and learning because their children are the ones being educated. But it actually, gasp, she writes

00:26:27.540 gasp in parentheses, doesn't work that way. It's sort of like entering a surgical unit thinking you

00:26:34.040 can interfere with an operation simply because the patient is your child. So I'm going to pause it

00:26:40.060 right there. A lot of conservatives are saying this is an imprecise analogy and it's crazy to compare

00:26:46.060 educating to surgery, for instance. I actually think the analogy is okay. I think it's a pretty good

00:26:52.120 analogy. But the fact is parents do have a say in their kids' medical decisions. I know that the left

00:26:59.820 doesn't think they do anymore. The left is saying, we're going to jab your kid with the Fauci ouchie

00:27:03.520 regardless of what you want. We're going to trans your kid. We're going to take your little boy and 1.00

00:27:07.780 chop him up and make him look like a little girl regardless of what you want because we know what's 0.99

00:27:11.500 best. But actually, believe it or not, parents do have a say in surgery. And by the way, education

00:27:20.020 is as formative, at least as formative as surgeries are. You are shaping the way that a child will view the

00:27:26.520 world. You are shaping what a child thinks about what is true and false and right and wrong and good

00:27:31.160 and bad when you educate them. Certainly when you educate them for 13 years or more. So yeah, it is

00:27:39.480 a lot like surgery. And the parents have a right over how their child is formed in these really,

00:27:45.600 really important decisions that will shape their entire life. The woman goes on. She says,

00:27:51.240 teaching too is a science. Unless they're licensed and certified, parents aren't qualified to make

00:27:56.460 decisions about curricula. In fact, parental interference can actually hinder student

00:28:00.580 advancement. An educator's primary goal is to teach students to think. Parents who attempt to influence

00:28:05.980 curricula with their personal opinions, ideologies, and biases hinder that goal. An educator's goal is

00:28:11.700 to teach students to think. What does that mean? What exactly does that mean? I think it's a similar

00:28:18.240 version to we teach students how to think, not what to think. But of course, the educators are

00:28:24.700 teaching students what to think. Here's something. An educator's primary goal is to teach students to

00:28:30.540 think. That is a what. That's not a how. That's a what. That's ideology. That's personal opinion. That's

00:28:38.860 bias. That's the same thing that the educator is accusing the parents of doing. Kind of gets back to our

00:28:47.720 point about scapegoating. For these teachers, for the left broadly, they're the problem because the

00:28:56.360 parents are trying to teach students something about the world. They're trying to form the way

00:29:01.820 their students and children view the world. Of course, the same could be said of the educators.

00:29:08.380 That's what they're doing. But the left, the educators can't see that. They believe that what

00:29:15.180 they're doing is totally just and right, and the other people are completely, totally wrong.

00:29:21.340 If an educator like this kooky woman teaches a student that a boy can become a girl, 1.00

00:29:28.540 then that educator is hindering the student's education because that educator is teaching the

00:29:33.900 student something that isn't true. If the educator says that America was founded in 1619 and the central

00:29:39.040 fact of America is slavery, that educator is hindering the student's education because the

00:29:45.200 educator is teaching the student something that isn't true. If a parent comes in and says,

00:29:50.640 get that crap out of the classroom, the parent is helping the student's education because the parent 0.99

00:29:56.040 is kicking away the things that are false and demanding that students be taught things that are true. 0.99

00:30:02.640 And this is now a battle for the minds and souls of the next generation of Americans.

00:30:13.620 And who's going to be better at that? Left-wing ideologue teachers or parents. The Democratic Party

00:30:22.500 sent out a tweet just today said that the number one occupation for Democrat donors in recent years

00:30:31.020 is teachers. Exactly. Exactly. That's the problem. So if you want your kids to be taught the

00:30:41.680 Democrat, leftist, liberal view of the world, an evil view of the world that is not true and it's not

00:30:48.520 good and it's not beautiful, then we have to, well, let's let things be the way they are. Let's back

00:30:54.640 off. Let's never question any of the teachers. Let's not show up to school boards. If you don't want

00:30:58.800 your kids to turn out that way, then we need to politically get a little bit aggressive and we

00:31:03.540 need to show up to school boards and we need to demand resignations and we need to demand that 0.79

00:31:07.320 lunatic teachers like this woman, Christina Wyman, get fired, that they don't have a platform, 0.99

00:31:14.220 that we cancel them. We need to cancel this. We need to cancel the bad books in the education.

00:31:18.720 We need to cancel the stupid ideas in the education and we need to cancel the bad teachers 0.99

00:31:22.760 and administrators and they need to be fired and they never should be allowed near students ever again. 1.00

00:31:26.980 Okay. And are conservatives willing to say that? Are conservatives willing to do that?

00:31:32.620 I think so. I think you're beginning to see a movement on the right that's doing that. Ron

00:31:37.020 DeSantis in Florida is doing that. A lot of candidates for Senate right now. Blake Masters,

00:31:41.720 whom I just sat down with, he's saying these sorts of things. J.D. Vance, Josh Mandel in Ohio,

00:31:46.400 both running against one another. They're saying these sorts of things. That's what we got to do.

00:31:50.840 Got to get much tougher. There's a shocking report out of a school in California.

00:31:55.180 Abigail Schreier, who wrote Irreversible Damage. It's a book about how the culture is trancing

00:32:02.140 little girls and then they're regretting it and then that's not being reported on.

00:32:07.060 There's a book that was, I think it was canceled from Target. Then there was an uproar. It went

00:32:11.380 back to Target. It's a very good book. Abigail Schreier revealed that at a late October meeting at a

00:32:17.840 conference of California's largest teachers union, the California Teachers Association, CTA,

00:32:22.200 documents show that teachers were encouraged to recruit students into LGBT clubs to urge them to,

00:32:31.620 quote, have the courage to create a safe environment that fosters bravery to explore

00:32:36.020 sexual orientation. And, quote, this is what one of the teachers reportedly said, quote,

00:32:42.360 we're going to do just a little mind trick on our sixth graders. So recruiting 11-year-olds

00:32:46.880 to explore their sexual orientation in clubs that, by the way, don't keep records. So this was another

00:32:54.540 aspect of it. Lori Caldera, who's a middle school teacher, a Buena Vista middle school teacher in

00:33:01.600 California, an LGBTQ club leader, was heard on tape saying, quote, because we're not official,

00:33:06.640 we have no club rosters, we keep no records. In fact, sometimes we don't really want to keep records

00:33:11.720 because if parents get upset that their kids are coming, we're like, yeah, I don't know, maybe they

00:33:16.040 came. You know, we would never want a kid to get in trouble for attending if their parents are upset.

00:33:19.740 So these are teachers who are recruiting kids into these clubs, not keeping records of it, 0.85

00:33:24.480 stonewalling the parents if the parents have any questions, and transing the freaking kids. 0.94

00:33:28.860 I don't want to sound hyperbolic about it. I don't, you know, I don't want to put on my Alex Jones 0.97

00:33:34.960 voice, even though Alex Jones has been right about a number of things like the gay frogs, but, but we

00:33:41.600 have record of this. Audio record documents being reported by a very serious, respected source,

00:33:48.440 Abigail Schreier, that these teachers are trying to trans the kids. It's exactly what conservatives 1.00

00:33:54.340 have been talking about. Schreier even went on, she said, speakers went so far as to tout their

00:34:00.400 surveillance of students' Google searches, internet activity, and hallway conversations

00:34:04.880 in order to target sixth graders for personal invitations to LGBTQ clubs while actively concealing

00:34:12.600 the club's membership roles from participants' parents. So this question, beyond the specific

00:34:18.980 sexual questions raised, the extreme creepiness of this, the, I assume, illegality of some of this,

00:34:26.780 I assume that the schools need to keep better records and are not allowed to stonewall parents 1.00

00:34:30.680 this way. But beyond all of that, it actually comes down to a very simple, mundane question.

00:34:37.320 Who has the right to raise your kids? For the last 20 or 30 years, and I guess really even a little

00:34:45.980 before that, the right would say, just us, just the parents, it's just us. And what the left has said

00:34:52.640 is, it takes a village, right? So meaning, that was Hillary Clinton's memoir title. So Hillary Clinton

00:34:58.420 representing the left's view here would say, actually, parents have very few rights, and it's all

00:35:04.000 the society. Really, they mean the government. And the right would say, forget society, forget the

00:35:11.360 government, it's all parents. And the real answer is, it's both. It is both. There's a reason that it

00:35:18.940 takes a village to raise a child is an old idiom, is that it's true. And I'm not even saying this

00:35:23.460 prescriptively. I'm not even saying it should be the case that it takes a village to raise a child.

00:35:27.380 I'm just saying it does. Your kids are going to be influenced by the village. That is inevitable.

00:35:34.460 You can be the most protective helicopter parent you ever saw, and your kids are still going to be

00:35:39.960 influenced by the neighbors, by the other kids that they meet in the neighborhood or at school,

00:35:44.300 if they're going to a school. They're going to be influenced by what they see on TV. They're going to be

00:35:48.480 influenced by things they see on billboards that you can't lock them up in a little room forever.

00:35:54.400 They are going to be influenced by society. And this is why it's not enough to just take the you

00:36:00.540 do you, laissez-faire, hands-off approach to politics that a lot of conservatives demonstrating,

00:36:07.200 I think, a lot of cowardice in recent decades have done. They've said, no, forget it. Whatever you want

00:36:12.200 to do is fine, as long as it doesn't affect me. Well, it does affect you. Even the private stuff,

00:36:17.920 even the personal stuff, it does affect you because we live in society. Politics means the

00:36:23.000 public stuff, right? That's all. Public and political mean the same thing. And so it is going

00:36:29.180 to affect you. And to some degree, your kid is going to be raised by the village, and to some

00:36:33.840 degree, the kid is going to be raised by you. And it is up to us asserting our political rights to

00:36:38.000 decide exactly what that balance is. If these lunatics at NBC and in the California teachers unions

00:36:44.960 and in the Democratic Party have their way, the parents are going to have no rights whatsoever.

00:36:50.440 And the village that raises the kids is going to be a radical leftist village that fills your kids 0.89

00:36:54.000 heads with insane racial and sexual views. We can't let them do that. And we need to recognize 0.90

00:37:01.260 that because the village does have a say, we need to assert our political rights. Not just, you know,

00:37:05.920 politics is downstream of culture. I'm just going to work on myself and look at the man in the mirror.

00:37:09.620 You got to do that too. But you got to show up to that school board. You got to show up to the

00:37:12.860 elections. You got to fire these bad teachers. You got to kick the pornography out of schools.

00:37:17.040 You got to kick the 1619 project out of schools. But I repeat myself, frankly. So not quite obscene

00:37:22.800 in the same way that pornography is, but it is obscenely anti-historical. It is obscenely anti-American.

00:37:29.260 It's obscenely false. You've got to assert your political power. Speaking of political rights,

00:37:36.500 there is a cop who got fired for donating to Kyle Rittenhouse. Lieutenant William Kelly

00:37:41.760 from the Norfolk Police Department was fired because he made a $25 anonymous donation to Kyle

00:37:50.320 Rittenhouse's legal defense. Was going to do it on GoFundMe. GoFundMe barred donations to Kyle

00:37:56.360 Rittenhouse's legal defense because GoFundMe is a far-left organization that targets conservatives.

00:38:00.980 So then there was another one who was give, send, go is the more conservative version of it.

00:38:04.340 This cop gives 25 bucks to this kid's legal defense. Hackers obtained Kelly's name and address,

00:38:14.280 email address, gave it to the Guardian, a left-wing paper. The Guardian ran a story.

00:38:20.480 Kelly got fired because the police chief, Larry Boone, suggested that he lose his job. Larry Boone,

00:38:26.620 the police chief, the Norfolk police chief, was a supporter of BLM. He attended a BLM protest,

00:38:32.180 fully uniformed, fully uniformed last May. And he said, no, this cop gave 25 bucks to Kyle

00:38:38.540 Rittenhouse. He's got to be fired. And the city manager accepted that recommendation.

00:38:44.340 Kyle Rittenhouse was vindicated. Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong. The court of law

00:38:49.220 determined that. He acted in self-defense. This man should never have been fired. Frankly,

00:38:56.420 I think the police chief probably should have been fired for showing up to the BLM protest. His BLM is a

00:39:01.480 terrorist organization. What I would do, if I were a constituent, if I lived in Norfolk,

00:39:08.260 Virginia, what I would do, I'd probably call up that Norfolk, Virginia police department.

00:39:13.520 I would probably ask to speak to police chief, Larry Boone. And I would probably demand that he

00:39:18.580 be reinstated. And furthermore, if I were a constituent in Norfolk, Virginia, I would probably

00:39:23.500 demand that the police chief here, Larry Boone, lose his job. What I would demand is the opposite of

00:39:29.300 what actually happened. Because the media narrative we were told is that Kyle Rittenhouse was a

00:39:35.080 terrorist, domestic, violent, white supremacist, whatever stupid slogan you want to hear. And he 1.00

00:39:39.820 killed peaceful protesters. And that isn't true. It turned out the opposite was true. And so instead

00:39:44.380 of Lieutenant William Kelly losing his job and Larry Boone getting to laugh about it, I think probably

00:39:50.500 the opposite should be true. I think police chief Larry Boone should lose his job. I think people

00:39:55.180 ought to probably call that police department and demand the reinstatement of Lieutenant William

00:40:01.100 Kelly. That's just what I would do if I were a constituent of Norfolk, Virginia. Though I,

00:40:06.080 unlike my colleague, Matt Walsh, I'm not a trans Virginian. The Kyle Rittenhouse case was so clear

00:40:15.200 after we saw the evidence, after the media narrative went away, it was so clear that even

00:40:22.240 people on CNN are beginning to admit it. During the Tweedledee Tweedledum handoff between Chris Cuomo

00:40:30.440 and Don Lemon, these two fellas even managed to admit that the verdict was right.

00:40:40.080 You know, you know, you're going to have people saying if he was black, this would be different,

00:40:43.620 right? Because we're dealing with systemic injustice right now. And even though this verdict,

00:40:47.980 I believe, is justified by the law and the facts here, that's what we should want every time people

00:40:53.080 are frustrated that you wouldn't get it if he was black, even though this may be the right outcome. 1.00

00:40:58.900 But at the same time you're doing that, you're going to have him be weaponized by one of the 0.83

00:41:03.660 most toxic people and outfits in our society? Well, so therefore, when that judge said this,

00:41:11.180 when he, you know, dressed down the prosecution, prosecution did a lot of things wrong,

00:41:14.120 right? I mean, this really rests. But they had a hard case. They had a hard case,

00:41:18.960 but they didn't do a good job even with a hard case. I mean, that's obvious to see.

00:41:23.080 So it's mostly Chris Cuomo who's admitting that the verdict was right. And Don Lemon's trying not

00:41:27.960 to, but Lemon is smart enough to realize that he can't make a good argument here. So he says, well,

00:41:32.340 you know, yeah, it was just that prosecution, that prosecution. And Chris Cuomo says,

00:41:37.300 what about the prosecution? They had a hard case. Really, they had an impossible case.

00:41:44.040 The best shot they had was to, to keep evidence from the defense and to, they called their best

00:41:50.740 witnesses. All those witnesses ended up making the case for the defense, not the prosecution.

00:41:54.560 You could have had the greatest lawyers in the world. All right. The two prosecutors in Kenosha,

00:42:01.660 Blinken and, is that his name Blinken? Or I don't even remember his name anymore. Or the one they

00:42:06.860 called Lunchbox. Those two guys talk about Tweedledee, Tweedledum. They did not do a good

00:42:11.440 job. They were not very good lawyers. But you could have had Alan Dershowitz and Johnny Cochran

00:42:19.320 and Ken Starr and all the greatest lawyers in the country. And they still couldn't have made the case

00:42:25.140 because the evidence wasn't there. That's the point Chris Cuomo was making. Now, why are these

00:42:30.260 gentlemen on CNN making this point right now? Is it because they have integrity?

00:42:36.640 Maybe. I don't want to say certainly that they don't have integrity. Cuomo and Lemon, both in

00:42:43.680 earlier eras, have been more balanced than they are now. They're probably just getting a call from

00:42:49.320 the head of CNN saying you got to be more leftist and combative. Didn't Chris Cuomo, he got caught on

00:42:54.100 that audio just some months ago saying he hates his job and he feels like a hack and all this. So

00:42:59.660 maybe it's that. I suspect the reason that they're coming out now and saying, oh, the verdict was

00:43:05.480 probably right. And hey, you know, look, whatever. It's okay. It's all good. It's because they know

00:43:10.340 that their network spent a lot of time spreading a lot of lies and slander and libel about Kyle

00:43:19.560 Rittenhouse. That's not just CNN. It's NBC and the Washington Post and the New York Times and all

00:43:25.120 of them. And I think they remember Nick Sandman. You remember Nick Sandman? He was that kid wearing

00:43:29.500 the MAGA hat when the Native American lunatics started banging a drum in his face and the black 1.00

00:43:33.500 supremacists were screaming slurs at them. And he smiled. And after smiling, all the media outlets 1.00

00:43:39.520 called him a white supremacist and all that. Do you remember what happened after that? Oh yeah,

00:43:44.180 Nick Sandman shook them all down for a ton of money. We don't know the exact number because there

00:43:48.400 were non-disclosures there, but Nick Sandman made a lot of money off those guys. And I think CNN

00:43:53.420 is trying to cover its derriere. And I hope, oh, do I hope, that now that Kyle Rittenhouse has been 0.91

00:44:00.620 exonerated, I hope he takes them to the cleaners. I hope that Kyle Rittenhouse becomes a trillionaire

00:44:11.840 suing these dirtbag liberal journo outlets into the dirt. I hope that Kyle Rittenhouse and Nick Sandman

00:44:23.520 have to split time owning these various outlets. Like divorced parents. I hope it's like,

00:44:30.860 okay, Kyle, you can have CNN on the weekends. But I, Nick, I want to have CNN during the week.

00:44:36.700 And then maybe for the summers, I want it to be unambiguous. I want these guys to lose a lot

00:44:45.060 of money. Justice was served in the case. We've talked so much about the Kyle Rittenhouse case.

00:44:51.540 I guess that's now coming to an end. We're going to move on to the next left-wing hoax.

00:44:57.300 But just because justice was served, that's great. We've got to keep it up. Okay. Just like you heard

00:45:03.980 that, the BLM guy, he said, no, well, yeah, okay. He was exonerated at the state level.

00:45:09.600 We want federal charges. Right? The left never gives up. The left is really persistent. We've

00:45:15.940 got to be persistent too. We won. We've got to take it further. Got to sue those media outlets

00:45:20.980 into oblivion. What the left is trying to do in this country is delegitimize the opposition.

00:45:26.960 This is a story. This actually came out a couple of weeks ago,

00:45:29.180 but I think it pertains to what's going on now. Mike Cernovich discovered this.

00:45:35.300 The Washington Post was running an ad to promote the idea of January 6th, the insurrection. They're

00:45:42.460 running an advertisement. An investigation by the Washington Post provides the richest

00:45:46.680 understanding to date of Trump's mindset and the cost of his inaction as democracy came under attack.

00:45:52.280 Now, I'm not saying that it's weird for a journalistic outlet to run ads on their stories.

00:46:01.800 But, you know, everyone does that. We do that. Everybody does that.

00:46:05.680 But it is weird to run ads on a story that doesn't really catch. Right? No one really believes the

00:46:14.640 January 6th thing. The whole narrative is falling apart. We were told January 6th was a bunch of

00:46:18.840 domestic terrorists who came in armed, who killed a cop, who were taking over the government. And then

00:46:24.420 the more we've learned about it, the less and less it seems true. Actually, almost every single

00:46:31.220 thing we were told about that day was a lie. So the story has kind of fallen apart.

00:46:37.420 In a normal world, that would be the end of the story and they'd move on to something else.

00:46:41.540 But the left is so dead set on keeping this narrative

00:46:45.740 that they've got to promote it. Just like the New York Times story on

00:46:49.620 the 1619 project. The thesis of that was proven incorrect. The New York Times spent millions

00:46:53.760 of dollars promoting it anyway because they have ideological goals

00:46:57.460 as well. And the goal here is to not merely win a political

00:47:01.800 battle. It's to utterly delegitimize the opposition

00:47:05.180 such that anytime they get any power or win at all, it is considered

00:47:09.140 an existential threat to democracy, to the country, to the republic, to the constitution,

00:47:14.020 and it must be done away with. Those are the stakes here. What kind of persistence

00:47:20.820 is the right willing to engage? What kind of lawfare? What kind of electioneering?

00:47:25.520 What kind of protest? What kind of legislating is the right willing to do?

00:47:31.440 The left is playing for keeps. Are we willing to play for keeps too? I hope so. I'm Michael

00:47:34.720 Knowles. This is Michael Knowles. We'll see you tomorrow.
