Summary

Dr. Francis Fauci admits that he worked with the Chinese communist party to create the coronavirus that caused the SARS pandemic in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Is this a coincidence? Or is this part of a larger conspiracy?

00:00:00.000 Nervous about financing a renovation or move, TD can help. Request a calming call with TD
00:00:07.480 Mortgage Direct and say hello to good advice. Dr. Fauci spent the years leading up to the
00:00:18.100 coronavirus outbreak colluding with Chinese communists on gain-of-function research to
00:00:23.980 make naturally occurring viruses more dangerous. Now, before you censor me, there's been a lot of
00:00:29.420 censorship. Even in yesterday's show, there was a little bit of censorship from some big tech
00:00:33.480 people. I just want you to know I am not merely stating my own hypothesis or opinion. Actually,
00:00:41.760 I'm just quoting Dr. Fauci, who made a Freudian slip and admitted to conspiring with the commies.
00:00:50.420 SARS-CoV-1 clearly originated in China, and we were fortunate to escape a major pandemic. So we
00:00:59.400 really had to learn a lot more about the viruses that were there, about whether or not people were
00:01:04.460 getting infected with bad viruses. So in a very minor collaboration as part of a subcontract of a
00:01:10.980 grant, we had a collaboration with some Chinese scientists. And what he conflated that is that
00:01:19.360 therefore we were involved in creating the virus, which is the most ridiculous, majestic leap I've
00:01:25.660 ever heard of. The workers of the world must unite and throw off our bonds of oppression and seize the
00:01:33.500 means of production because we're all communi- I mean scientists. Yeah, that's the ticket.
00:01:42.360 That is a Freudian slip. That is when you say one thing, but you mean your mother. And Dr. Fauci's slip
00:01:48.260 is perfectly natural. This is the point that we've been making for years and that Dr. Fauci has been
00:01:54.720 denying for years. In China, the scientists are communists because the public health officials
00:02:03.240 work for the communist party. Public health, public health is by definition always political.
00:02:12.420 Incredibly, it seems the only difference between the Chinese eggheads and our own, their public health
00:02:17.660 officials and ours, is that the Chinese communists are more honest about it. I'm Michael Knowles,
00:02:22.880 and this is the Michael Knowles Show. Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is from
00:02:33.160 Joe2648 who says, if we can extend 15 days to slow the spread into two years, we surely can extend
00:02:41.880 Christmas for 12 days. I totally agree with that. It is still Christmas. Christmas is 12 days long,
00:02:49.720 my friends. It goes on until Epiphany on Thursday. So Merry Christmas. Let's extend Christmas and let's
00:02:56.820 shrink the time that we need to slow the spread. All right, let's, this is a wonderful Christmas
00:03:02.460 season. It's a time to be nice and comfy and grateful and cozy. One great way to stay cozy would
00:03:08.020 be to get in your bowl and branch sheets. No one wants to cut corners on what's important and few
00:03:14.820 things matter more than a good night's rest. Bowl and branch's signature sheets feel so soft and light,
00:03:21.980 you will forget that you are not actually sleeping on a cloud. No, you're just sleeping on sheets.
00:03:26.540 They just happen to be the best sheets in the world. I really love them. I've had the opportunity
00:03:31.780 to sleep on really fancy sheets when I go to fancy hotels, which has happened two or three times in my
00:03:38.020 life at least, and it's really great. And you think, why can't I do this every single night? Well,
00:03:41.740 you can with bowl and branch. They're a bestseller for a reason. Buttery soft, lightweight, organic
00:03:47.200 cotton in a classic sateen weave for sheets that get softer and softer over time. Not too hot, not
00:03:52.580 too cool. I got these as a wedding present for myself. I have given these to friends and family.
00:04:00.100 They're just absolutely wonderful. Experience the best sheets you've ever felt at bowlandbranch.com.
00:04:06.480 You'll get 15% off your first set of sheets when you use promo code Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L at checkout.
00:04:12.200 That's bowlandbranch, B-O-L-L and branch.com, promo code Michael. B-O-L-L-A-N-D branch.com, promo code
00:04:20.260 Michael. This is not the bombshell that Dr. Fauci would seem to be dropping here. The fact that in
00:04:30.100 China, the public health officials are communists. They are. And he's trying to then obscure that fact.
00:04:34.400 And he says, no, I'm just talking about the scientists. No, but of course they are. If you're
00:04:38.460 working for the government, if you are, for instance, like Dr. Fauci, taking a paycheck from
00:04:42.780 the government for decade upon decade throughout seven presidential administrations, if you're the
00:04:46.500 highest paid official in the federal government, you are by definition a politician. So when Dr.
00:04:53.800 Fauci says, I don't do politics. I've never had any political role. I'm just a scientist. That's bogus.
00:05:00.640 It's in the very nature of the job. That's not possible. And so at least, at least the Chai
00:05:07.940 comms say what you will about the Chai comms, but at least they're kind of honest about it.
00:05:12.020 They say, yes, you, you work for us. You are answerable to us, the premier, the dictator,
00:05:17.660 the Chinese communist party. Whereas here our public health officials pretend that they're
00:05:22.000 merely following the science when of course they are advancing a political agenda. Speaking
00:05:27.800 about differences between totalitarian countries and our wonderful democracy where everything is
00:05:34.520 free and open and transparent, a sitting member of Congress has just been deplatformed, kicked out of
00:05:40.160 the public square by a couple of billionaire big tech oligarchs because they don't like what she has to
00:05:46.260 say. That would be Marjorie Taylor Greene. Marjorie Taylor Greene first had her Twitter account
00:05:53.880 suspended permanently and then had her Facebook account taken away for, quote, repeated violations
00:06:01.440 of the COVID-19 misinformation policy. Now, if spreading misinformation about COVID-19 is the sort
00:06:08.980 of offense that gets you kicked out of the public square, then Dr. Fauci should be banished, not just
00:06:13.760 to a far-flung island in the middle of the Pacific, he should be banished to Mars. He is the biggest
00:06:20.960 super spreader of misinformation about coronavirus that there is. But it's not just him. It's CNN and
00:06:27.120 MSNBC. It's the director of the CDC. It's the head of the World Health Organization. It's Joe Biden.
00:06:32.160 It's all these other people who told us things about the virus and the vaccines and the masks
00:06:37.280 that they themselves admitted later on were not true. And we went through all of those yesterday and
00:06:43.600 then apparently on a couple of the big tech platforms, we were censored, which is very unfortunate.
00:06:49.920 We'll get to more on censorship in a little bit. But if there were an objective standard,
00:06:57.800 then Marjorie Taylor Greene should not be the one being kicked off. It should be Fauci and Don Lemon
00:07:03.880 and Kamala Harris and all the rest of the liberal establishmentarians.
00:07:10.620 Now, some conservatives are not defending Marjorie Taylor Greene. And this really bothers me.
00:07:15.300 This really, really bugs me. Because what these conservatives are doing is they're saying
00:07:19.840 that, look, Marjorie Taylor Greene, she's pretty kooky. She's pretty out there. She's said things
00:07:26.600 on social media that I don't agree with and that are really outlandish and about space lasers. And I
00:07:33.720 don't let me in with her. No, let's throw her over the side of the boat. And let's just come on. I don't
00:07:40.320 want to be lumped in with her. Let's grant all it. Let's say that she's said the craziest,
00:07:45.360 kookiest things in the world on social media. She is still much more trustworthy than the people who
00:07:53.340 run Twitter and Facebook. And on things that actually matter, I'm not talking about space
00:07:57.920 lasers. I'm talking about how our political system works. On things that actually matter,
00:08:02.200 she is infinitely more trustworthy than the people who run Twitter and Facebook. The very people who are
00:08:06.920 subverting our self-government and who are cutting off the people's duly elected representatives from
00:08:13.280 having speech, which is the way we govern ourselves in a republic. Okay, don't, goodness gracious,
00:08:19.840 don't go squishy here, folks. Do not allow your desire to seem above it all, to seem very erudite,
00:08:28.580 to seem like a conservative, but not one of those conservatives. I'm a really reasonable one.
00:08:31.880 Do not let your desire to be invited to fancy cocktail parties and not to be looked on as a
00:08:39.580 kook at some fancy institutions, do not let that lead you to a place where you're choosing the side
00:08:46.620 of the oligarch billionaire, actual conspiracy theorist, to spread lies and conspiracy theories
00:08:51.720 about COVID specifically, to take their side over the side of someone who is largely on your own side.
00:08:57.860 In the Republican Party, in the conservative movement, whose heart is generally in the right place,
00:09:01.680 who is generally fighting for the right sort of things, don't pick the side of the evil, rotten,
00:09:07.140 terrible, leftist, revolutionary people who want to silence you and destroy your way of life.
00:09:13.200 Don't pick their side over Marjorie Greene just because she said some eccentric things before.
00:09:19.640 Okay, this is a real choice. What kind of conservative do you want to be? Assuming you're a conservative,
00:09:27.620 I know that there are a number of liberals and even leftists who listen to this show,
00:09:31.040 and we love you. We appreciate you tuning in. Hopefully, we'll pull you over to our side.
00:09:35.960 But if you are a conservative, what kind do you want to be?
00:09:41.360 Do you want to be the kind who boldly stands for what you stand for? Or do you want to be the kind
00:09:47.260 that sucks up to the liberal establishment and tries to get an MSNBC gig? Because then that's fine,
00:09:51.760 but then you got to follow Liz Cheney. Then you got to follow Adam Kinzinger. Liz Cheney just came
00:09:56.940 out. She hadn't been on TV in a while. She needed a little more attention. So Liz Cheney came out.
00:10:03.340 She said the GOP needs to choose between the Constitution and Donald Trump.
00:10:10.980 I think that the American people, again, and particularly the Republican Party,
00:10:15.980 we as Republicans have a choice to make. I am a conservative Republican. I believe strongly in
00:10:22.220 the policies of low taxes and limited government and a strong national defense. I think the country
00:10:28.800 needs a strong Republican Party going forward, but our party has to choose. We can either be loyal to
00:10:34.660 Donald Trump or we can be loyal to the Constitution, but we cannot be both. And right now, there are far
00:10:41.220 too many Republicans who are trying to enable the former president, embrace the former president,
00:10:47.440 look the other way, and hope that the former president goes away, trying to obstruct the
00:10:51.580 activities of this committee. But we won't be deterred. Donald Trump is going to have been dead for 30
00:10:57.020 years. And this frivolous woman is still going to be talking about how Donald Trump is the grave.
00:11:01.520 He's going to come back from the grave. He's going to dig himself up and he's going to storm the Capitol.
00:11:06.460 And he's a threat to the Constitution. We need to vote for Joe Biden, the man who's pushing
00:11:12.980 unconstitutional nationwide vaccine mandates through OSHA. We need to vote for Joe Biden,
00:11:19.740 the man pushing abortion on demand without apology, slaughtering a million babies a year.
00:11:24.820 We need to vote for Joe Biden, the man who's flagrantly disrespecting our national borders and
00:11:29.860 flooding the country with foreign nationals. We need to vote for Joe Biden in order to stand with
00:11:34.600 the Constitution. Not that mean old Donald Trump who, what did he do? What did he do that was so
00:11:41.200 bad? What? He sent some tweets and he, some people went to the Capitol and he told them to go home and
00:11:46.480 what was that? What is saddest about Liz Cheney is not just the inanity, although the babble that she
00:11:55.540 regularly spouts is very inane. It's how one note it is. It's so monotone. Lady,
00:12:02.540 get some new material. Goodness, it's been months of this. Come on, get some, come go back to the
00:12:09.580 drawing board. Give me something, give me some other reason to tune into MSNBC or CNN. If you want
00:12:15.980 to support America, of course, you got to, you got to vote for the right people. You got to support the

00:12:35.560 is not from the United States. It's imported from overseas. So why do they say, why will they say

00:13:50.180 flavorful year yet. Speaking of tired material and stabbing friends in the back, Patton Oswalt
00:13:58.020 decided to spend his new year and the following days stabbing his friend of many decades, Dave Chappelle,
00:14:08.960 in the back because Dave Chappelle did him a favor. And then Patton Oswalt got pushback from the liberal
00:14:17.560 mob. And so Patton Oswalt decided to try to throw his friend, his much more talented and famous friend
00:14:23.420 over the side of the boat. This was what started it all off was one Instagram post from Patton Oswalt.
00:14:31.840 This was a new year's day, I think, or I think it was new year's day. It was finished my set at
00:14:38.960 Mac Cahall and got a text from Dave Chappelle. Come over to the arena. He's performing in next door
00:14:45.220 and do a guest set. Why not? I waved goodbye to this hell year with a genius I started comedy with
00:14:49.300 34 years ago. He works in arena like he's talking to one person and charming their skin off. Anyway,
00:14:53.900 I ended the year with a real friend and a deep laugh. Can't ask for much more. And there's that picture
00:14:57.600 of Dave Chappelle and Patton Oswalt. That's really nice. That's really nice. You know,
00:15:01.720 a nice grateful post from Patton Oswalt and Dave Chappelle did his friend a favor. And that's a
00:15:06.600 lovely way to spend the new year. Except here's the problem. Dave Chappelle sort of, kind of like
00:15:17.400 once or twice contradicted the leftist orthodoxy. And Patton Oswalt is a leftist coward.
00:15:23.980 Two issues here. He's a leftist. He does push left wing ideas and he's a coward before the mob.
00:15:32.880 And so right away he publishes this essay on Instagram of him really thoughtfully sitting
00:15:39.680 at a pen and paper writing his public apology to the mob. It says, I saw a friend I hadn't seen in
00:15:45.900 a long time this New Year's Eve. We've known each other since we're teens. He's a fellow comedian,
00:15:49.040 the funniest I've ever met. I wanted to post a pic and an Instagram story about it. So I did.
00:15:53.220 That friend is Dave Chappelle. 34 years we've been friends. He's refocused and refined ideas. A lot
00:15:58.620 of us took is settled about his race and history and life on planet earth and spun them around with
00:16:03.480 a Fraser punchline. We've done bad and good gigs, open mics and TV tapings, but we also 100% disagree
00:16:09.780 about transgender rights and representation. So there it is. There it is, right? He's justifying
00:16:15.200 seeing a friend of 34 years. He's saying, look, if we'd only been friends for 10 years, maybe I
00:16:20.840 wouldn't have settled it, but come on, it's 34 years. I had to, I had to go over. I don't even,
00:16:25.740 I don't even really like the guy. He's a good comedian, right? He's funny. And, oh, but I had
00:16:30.380 to. And, and, but I'm sorry, but we disagree and he's a bigot and he's a trans phobe and he's a bad
00:16:37.020 person. I'm a good person. We 100% disagree about transgender rights and representation. I support trans
00:16:43.560 people's rights, anyone's rights to live safely in the world as their fullest selves. For all the things
00:16:47.880 he's helped me evolve on, I'll always disagree with where he stands now on transgender issues.
00:16:54.140 But I also don't believe a seeker like him has done evolving, learning. So it's, hey, look, my
00:16:58.800 friend Dave, who I have to be nice to, because we've been friends for 34 years, he's evil. He's
00:17:03.260 evil. He's totally evil. I'm a good person. But look, he's not a hundred percent evil. He's still got
00:17:10.160 a little glimmer of potential goodness in him. So I'm like, I basically, I'm just trying to help him
00:17:16.360 be a good person. And you should really, you should be grateful to me because I'm trying to
00:17:21.560 help this evil man reform. Blah, blah, blah. He goes on. He just goes on and babbles a little bit
00:17:29.140 more. This is really pathetic and, and, and mean and cruel and rude and all these awful things to do
00:17:39.600 to your, and disloyal and all these, a really terrible way to treat your friend. It's also dishonest
00:17:44.260 because Patton Oswalt has for a long time made jokes about transvestitism and sexually
00:17:50.260 confused people. For instance, you said this is for like families and kids because this sounds
00:17:56.100 really grim and creepy. Well, you didn't let me finish because we're also going to have men
00:18:02.240 in bright clothing and makeup. Oh, time out. You mean like, like transvestites, right?
00:18:08.100 Well, technically, yes, but they're going to keep going so that they're clowns.
00:18:15.060 You realize a clown is just a transvestite that doesn't stop.
00:18:21.100 Like if you, like if you, if you saw a guy in lipstick and eye shadow, you'd be like,
00:18:25.440 Timmy, leave him alone. That's his own thing. The guy's like, oh no, hang on.
00:18:28.800 Like, oh, Timmy, get it. He's a wonderful clown. Get over there. I didn't know you'd use a whole
00:18:36.600 tube of lipstick on one cheek. Please entertain my child. Run at him out of the darkness. He'll love
00:18:43.780 it. So the premise of the joke, it's funny enough joke. The premise of the joke is that
00:18:51.340 transgender people are really just confused. And the thing that makes them transgender is that they
00:18:59.080 put on a lot of makeup. So if they put on a lot of makeup, but stop at a certain point,
00:19:04.460 then they're called transvestites or transgender. But if they keep going, the logical conclusion of
00:19:09.100 that will be that they're a clown. Furthermore, the other premise of this joke is that if you see
00:19:13.180 a transvestite, it would be natural to try to keep your kid away from that transvestite because the
00:19:17.800 transvestite is obviously a little bit confused on some pretty important matters. And so you just
00:19:22.280 say, hey, Johnny, don't, maybe don't go over there. Leave that person alone. Don't talk to that
00:19:26.020 person. All right. But Dave Chappelle's a terrible person because he said that men are not women.
00:19:34.600 This is, this is something about these people, the Patton Oswalt's of the world, the Liz Cheney's of
00:19:43.040 the world and the people who take their side. That is, it's the insult to the injury. The disloyalty
00:19:50.060 would be bad enough. The cowardice would be bad enough. The ignorance and naivete that if you just
00:19:56.760 grovel to the mob, they won't attack you anymore, which just never actually happens. If you just
00:20:01.780 apologize for something that you haven't done wrong, then maybe the mob will move on. But it's
00:20:07.700 also the dishonesty. They don't believe this stuff. Patton Oswalt and Dave Chappelle, I seriously doubt
00:20:14.100 disagree on the transgender stuff. What, what Patton Oswalt just said about transgenderism is way more
00:20:18.900 offensive than anything Dave Chappelle has said. It's just, it's just the cowardice. It's just the
00:20:25.500 going along to get along. It's just, Liz Cheney is not a Republican. I know that she's got an R next to
00:20:34.560 her name still sort of, I guess, although her own state Republican party voted her out. They said,
00:20:39.080 you're no longer in the party. Get out. Sayonara, lady. And what does she say? She says, look, I'm a,
00:20:45.740 I'm a Republican. I'm a, I'm a lifelong conservative Republican. I support, okay, what makes you a
00:20:51.280 conservative, Liz Cheney? She lists it out. She says, I support low taxes, limited government,
00:20:59.120 and a strong national defense. Those are euphemisms. Certainly the latter two are euphemisms for
00:21:06.960 letting corporations, generally speaking, woke corporations do whatever they want on the one
00:21:15.100 hand. That's the low taxes and the, and the limited government, the deregulation. Let woke
00:21:20.240 oligarchs do whatever they want and bomb the Middle East. So, you know, I'm a good, I'm a conservative
00:21:26.160 Republican. I'm, I am doing what the liberal establishment wants. That's why I'm a conservative
00:21:31.600 Republican. That does not a conservative make, darling. On every crucial issue, whenever it really
00:21:41.160 counts, whenever it's difficult on a tough vote, Liz Cheney sides with the Democrats. You saw this on
00:21:49.960 the preposterous impeachment of Donald Trump, impeachments of Donald Trump. You see this on
00:21:55.840 the preposterous January 6th committee, January 6th. Not only was it not the worst insurrection
00:22:01.140 in American history, not only has no one involved been charged with insurrection, it wasn't even the
00:22:06.760 worst insurrection of, of that year. The BLM insurrection was way worse, attacked way more
00:22:13.440 federal buildings, killed infinitely more people because the, the Capitol riot didn't, didn't end up
00:22:18.800 killing anyone. It was just the cops who killed one of the Capitol demonstrators. Way more arson,
00:22:25.840 vandalism, theft, robbery. But on those crucial votes, Liz Cheney sides with the Dems.
00:22:35.380 Don't do that. Don't, don't do this with Marjorie Taylor Greene. Don't, I know you might object to a
00:22:39.420 lot of things that Marjorie Taylor Greene says. I'm sure you do. Who, but whose side are you on? You
00:22:43.980 on Liz Cheney's side? Are you on Patton Oswalt's side? I don't think so, folks. Politics is
00:22:48.760 about alliances and, and teams. And I know we're, we're not supposed to acknowledge that. And we're
00:22:54.160 all supposed to just pretend that we're all atoms floating in the ether. But that's not how politics
00:23:00.340 actually works. You do have to come together, usually with people you disagree with on, on some
00:23:04.620 issues to, to actually accomplish something. Speaking of misinformation, Rachel Maddow,
00:23:12.140 my doppelganger, I try not to go after her too much. Uh, you know, I feel a certain kinship
00:23:18.440 to her might be an actual kinship. I don't know. We've never taken a DNA test. Rachel Maddow
00:23:23.460 has spread misinformation about the coronavirus.
00:23:31.540 It means that instead of the vaccine being able, excuse me, it means for instead of the virus being
00:23:37.280 able to hop from person to person, to person, to person spreading and spreading, sickening some of
00:23:42.020 them, but not all of them. And the ones that it doesn't sicken don't know they have it. And then
00:23:44.980 they give it to even more people because they didn't recognize they were right instead of the
00:23:49.420 virus being able to hop from person to person, to person, potentially mutating and becoming more
00:23:55.220 virulent and drug resistant along the way. Now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the
00:24:00.560 virus stops with every vaccinated person, a vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus.
00:24:08.940 The virus does not infect them. The virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere else.
00:24:16.020 It cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to go get more people. That means the vaccines will get us
00:24:24.360 to the end of this. If we just go fast enough to get the whole population vaccinated.
00:24:32.420 So what she said is not true and it's now been contradicted by the public health authorities.
00:24:36.160 This is a great example because Ms. Maddow and I might bear some passing similarity,
00:24:42.800 okay, some passing resemblance. And yet she says false things and doesn't get censored. I say true
00:24:48.160 things that now even the public health officials admit are true. And I do get censored. Why is that?
00:24:54.520 What's going on here? Why has that been the case for the whole of the lockdown and the pandemic and
00:25:00.960 whatever? And why does that continue to be the case? We'll get to that. First though, the Daily Wire
00:25:07.080 has led the charge to sue the Biden administration for the vaccine mandates. Now we're taking it all the
00:25:13.620 way up to the Supreme Court. This Friday, the Supreme Court will convene to hear arguments on
00:25:18.860 the legality and constitutionality of the mandate, which means this week is going to be huge in our
00:25:25.080 fight against the mandate. We have over 1 million signatures on the do not comply petition currently.
00:25:31.500 It's vital that this number increases before Friday. Help us send our message loud and clear.
00:25:36.420 Head to dailywire.com slash do not comply right now. I think you know at this point that the Supreme
00:25:40.840 Court looks at the polls, they look at the news headlines. Okay. You've seen this in a lot of
00:25:45.100 court cases in recent years. We're counting on you to help us put a stop to this federal overreach.
00:25:49.720 We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:26:03.000 So Rachel Maddow has gone on air and said that the vaccines 100% prevent people from contracting
00:26:09.500 the virus, one, and transmitting the virus, two. 100% the virus just stops at that person. And that's
00:26:16.300 why if enough people get the vaccine, then the virus will just completely stop. Now I know that
00:26:21.040 apparently I can be censored and have been censored on YouTube for pointing out that this is not true,
00:26:27.800 which is why I would recommend you go to the audio podcast, the Apple podcast, Spotify, Stitcher,
00:26:32.060 Google Play, wherever you get your audio podcasts, subscribe to the Michael Knowles show there,
00:26:36.420 and you will get the completely uncensored. You won't have to deal with YouTube or any of the
00:26:41.700 other big tech censors there, but you don't need to just take my word for it. All of the major public
00:26:49.780 health officials have directly contradicted what Rachel Maddow said. What they can't do anymore
00:26:55.980 is prevent transmission. You know, we didn't have vaccines that block transmission. We got vaccines
00:27:01.740 that help you with your health, but they only slightly reduce the transmissions. We need a new
00:27:06.100 new way of doing the vaccine. The level of virus in the nasopharynx of a person who's vaccinated and
00:27:13.820 infected is the same level as the level of virus in the nasopharynx of an unvaccinated person.
00:27:21.460 Reports from our international colleagues, including Israel, suggest increased risk of severe disease
00:27:27.760 amongst those vaccinated early. And if you look at Israel, which has always been a month to a month
00:27:35.740 and a half ahead of us, they are seeing a waning of immunity, not only against infection,
00:27:43.460 but against hospitalizations and to some extent death. The booster might actually be an essential
00:27:50.480 part of the primary regimen that people should have. So there you have it. Rachel Maddow says one thing,
00:27:58.300 the public health officials directly contradict what she said. In this case, only much later,
00:28:05.300 only long after the fact, but it does happen to be the case that what the public health officials have
00:28:09.720 said in this specific case is true. What Rachel Maddow said was completely wrong. So my question,
00:28:16.300 the Babylon Bee asked this question yesterday, why is she not being kicked off of Twitter for
00:28:21.980 misinformation? She has spread much more misinformation about COVID than Marjorie Taylor
00:28:28.460 Green has. Why does Marjorie Taylor Green get kicked off of social media, but Rachel Maddow does not?
00:28:35.360 Why does this show, which has an extraordinarily good record in terms of calling the shots on this virus,
00:28:44.540 why does this show more, I hate, you know, I hate to say I told you so, you know, I hate to toot my own
00:28:50.560 horn, probably more accurate than almost any other show, if not every single other show on, on the
00:28:59.500 coronavirus from day one. How come we get censored, but Rachel Maddow, who's been dead wrong for most of
00:29:05.560 it, she doesn't get censored because I have actually had the answer to that. It is not about what you say.
00:29:14.540 It is about who is saying it. It is, it actually, it is not now, nor has it ever been about what is
00:29:25.120 said about the virus. It is about who does the saying it. This is the issue I've run into with
00:29:34.680 some of the big tech platforms. When new information comes out about the virus, information that some of
00:29:42.100 us intuited early on, but let's say finally the CDC or the FDA or WHO admits it, I'm allowed to play a
00:29:51.080 clip of Rochelle Walensky, the CDC director, or Dr. Fauci, or any of them saying something.
00:29:57.660 If I then repeat verbatim what they said, I can have my show taken down.
00:30:07.340 Because if what, if what they said and I said contradicts the rules against misinformation,
00:30:13.400 if I, I can play the clip of Dr. Fauci saying something, I can then say word for word what he
00:30:19.400 said in the Dr. Fauci voice, by the way, which is fairly close to how he actually sounds.
00:30:23.560 But if I say it, the show can be taken down because it's not about what is said. It's about
00:30:29.520 who says it. I talked to my friend, Mike Anton, about this over Christmas. You know, we, we put
00:30:34.920 some interviews out on the channels over Christmas, one of which was with my friend, Mike Anton.
00:30:40.220 He's at the Claremont Institute. He, he wrote the famous Flight 93 essay in the 2016 election.
00:30:46.640 And, uh, we were talking about this strange phenomenon of the, the legitimacy of, of what
00:30:56.220 you're allowed to say differing based on who says it. And the example he brought up was the great
00:31:02.380 replacement theory. You might've heard about this. This is the, the left has, is fear-mongering now
00:31:08.180 and scare-mongering about the great replacement theory. And they say, you're not allowed to talk
00:31:12.820 about the great replacement theory. Only white supremacist, racist, Nazi people talk about the
00:31:18.680 great replacement theory. And they accused Tucker of doing this and a lot of conservative media
00:31:24.120 personalities and politicians. What is the great replacement theory? The great replacement theory
00:31:28.760 is that the left wants to change the demographics of America to give them an electoral advantage.
00:31:34.600 And they'll do this through mass migration and, and things like that. Here's a quote from
00:31:39.480 Anderson Cooper. Quote, the idea that, you know, whites will not be the majority. I mean, that's,
00:31:45.600 it's an exciting transformation of the country. It's an exciting evolution and, you know, progress of
00:31:50.620 our country in many different ways. That's Anderson Cooper, CNN. Uh, Jorge Ramos on Univision says,
00:31:57.920 quote, there's nothing really they can do against this incredible demographic revolution. He's talking
00:32:03.120 about conservatives saying that conservatives rely on white people to win elections. And so there's
00:32:08.600 nothing they can do. This is, they're going to be replaced and then they'll win. Michelle Goldberg
00:32:13.660 writing in the New York times had a headline, quote, we can replace them, right? That was the headline.
00:32:20.860 And so I was talking to Mr. Anton about this and I said, I don't, they're, they're telling us that
00:32:31.560 they support this thing of the replacement. It's sometimes in those exact words. And then
00:32:36.860 if we say what they said, then we're not allowed to say that. Is that, and he said, yes, that's the,
00:32:45.200 the defining feature here. They can say things. You can't say those same things.
00:32:54.920 And you can't even say that they said those things. This is what we're seeing with coronavirus. How crazy
00:33:02.900 is this? What world are we living in? Dr. Fauci can say something. I'm not allowed to say that same
00:33:10.280 thing. I'm not even allowed to say that Dr. Fauci said that thing. And it makes perfect sense because
00:33:17.460 the way that the left is looking at politics is not as the right often looks at politics,
00:33:23.420 which is about the free marketplace of ideas and the way to debate these things. And,
00:33:26.900 and right has might and, and the truth will win out in the end. And we just need to,
00:33:31.560 you know, have respect the views of, of other people and, and the best ideas are going to win
00:33:35.960 out. No, that's not how they're viewing it. They are viewing politics as they support their friends
00:33:42.340 and they hate their enemies. That's it. And when their friends do something, they're going to support
00:33:48.980 that. And when we, their enemies do, even if we do, if we say the same thing or do the same thing,
00:33:54.820 they're going to oppose that. And that's that. Okay. And those are two fundamentally different ways
00:33:59.920 of looking at politics, but complaining about it, isn't going to do anything. I'm never going to
00:34:05.880 stop the rain by complaining and neither are you. We, I think we just probably need to change our
00:34:11.280 strategy a little bit and recognize that the way our political system actually works is different
00:34:16.500 than what many of us have been duped into believing or duped ourselves into believing. Now, speaking of
00:34:23.200 replacing people, here's an essay from Pink News. I'm sure that's your homepage. I'm sure you all,
00:34:30.600 you check, you wake up in the morning, dailywire.com, Pink News. And okay, here's the,
00:34:36.400 here's the headline. Protesting trans athletes is not about fairness or safety. It's about transphobia.
00:34:44.420 Yeah. So I keep an open mind. Read, read this article. And I think they actually make a really
00:34:53.480 good point. I think they make a really good point. The, the right has made a crusade about women's
00:35:01.000 sports and how unfair it is that men are now competing in women's sports and they're winning
00:35:05.640 the women's sports because men are physically stronger than women. And what Pink News and the
00:35:12.540 transgenderists and the liberals are saying is you don't really care about women's sports.
00:35:16.100 You just oppose transgenderism. And the thing is, they're right. They're right. I don't care about
00:35:21.160 women's sports. I care in as much as it is unjust that the girls have to compete against, have to like
00:35:28.700 go race against people who are, who are men and therefore much faster than they are or have to,
00:35:34.300 especially, oh my goodness, in some kind of combat sport or wrestling or something. Could you even
00:35:37.720 imagine? Yeah. I, I don't like the injustice of that, but I don't care. Very few people watch the
00:35:44.220 WNBA. So I, I just couldn't possibly care less if some man tries out for the WNBA and wants to be on
00:35:53.440 one of the teams and I don't care. I'm not going to watch it anyway. And no, no one really cares.
00:36:00.060 You're right. It's not, the issue of transgenderism is not primarily about fairness or safety.
00:36:05.660 The headline's right. It's about reality. Okay. It's the real issue of transgenderism is not that
00:36:13.020 if we make all the bathrooms unisex that, you know, rape is going to sky, there will be an
00:36:18.180 increase in rape, but it's not going to skyrocket. I don't think it's going to become an epidemic.
00:36:22.720 It's, it's the, the issue of transgenderism is not that, you know, women will now lose their natural
00:36:28.120 or human right to win soccer games. I mean, yeah, they won't win the games anymore, but it's not the
00:36:32.880 biggest issue in society. The issue, the issue is that men aren't women. And it's just, the issue is
00:36:39.360 that transgenderism is erroneous. It's just, it's false. And so we don't support false things. But
00:36:45.820 the reason that conservatives keep trying to frame this as an issue of fairness or safety is because
00:36:52.220 a lot of conservatives, I think, share the same basic worldview as the liberals do. Namely, it's,
00:36:59.540 it's a extremely skeptical worldview that says we can never really know anything about truth or
00:37:04.620 goodness or justice or beauty. And you do you and I'll do me. And one man's terrorist is another
00:37:09.280 man's freedom fighter. And it's just extremely skeptical. Well, we can't impose our morality
00:37:14.280 on others. Well, we need to teach students how to think, not what to think. All those kinds of
00:37:18.100 platitudes that are ultimately just expressing a radical skepticism that we can never really know
00:37:23.080 anything at all. That the people who say that if we ban drag queen story hour from the library,
00:37:27.740 why the libs might ban us from going to church. Yeah, that's a, as if you can't tell the difference
00:37:32.700 between a pervert twerking for a toddler and going to church on Sunday, right? But that is the kind of
00:37:37.260 radical skepticism that some people on the right share and an extreme individualism. This radical idea
00:37:47.060 of, of rights that this conception of rights that's always expanding, that we have the right to do drugs.
00:37:54.160 We have the right to dress up however we want. We have the right to redefine reality that, that
00:37:58.100 basically a lot of conservatives share that, I think, with the libs. And so we'll say, well, it's,
00:38:05.540 you see, the, the right of the man to dress up like a woman is infringing now on the right of the girl
00:38:11.840 to win the soccer game. And that, well, I don't think that's going to be really persuasive.
00:38:16.140 I don't. I think the only way that conservatives are really going to push back on the transgenderism
00:38:21.800 issue is if we grow a spine. While we're, while we're talking about manipulating our anatomies,
00:38:28.240 we should grow a spine and we should say things that are true and have the confidence of our
00:38:33.840 convictions, which conservatives used to have until recent decades and say, no, men, men simply aren't
00:38:40.380 women. The premise of transgenderism is erroneous. Error has no rights. There is no right for a man
00:38:46.900 to pretend to be a woman. There is no way to neatly parse out private life from public life so that you
00:38:52.540 say that the man has the right to pretend to be a woman in his home, but not in public. That's never
00:38:57.480 going to work. That has never worked in any society. We're not just atoms floating in the ether, but we
00:39:02.600 do live together in a, in a society. And so the way that we view ourselves and our relationship to our
00:39:08.620 bodies and the relationship to society in our homes is going to affect the way that we do that in public
00:39:12.140 too. And sorry, buster, if you're confused and you think that you're a woman, you should get help for
00:39:17.800 that. We should, you know, try to give you the resources to work through these difficulties that
00:39:23.080 you've got, but we're not going to indulge that delusion because it's not because of safety or even
00:39:28.280 fairness because it's wrong. And we know it's wrong and we know that some things are right and some
00:39:33.420 things are wrong and that's that. Do, do conservatives have the chutzpah to say that? If we do, then I
00:39:43.000 think there's a chance, then I, then I think we, we could win on this issue. Then I think we could
00:39:49.660 reclaim some of our culture. If we don't, if we're going to keep just making these disingenuous
00:39:54.840 arguments about how much we care about women's soccer when we don't really, uh, then I don't think
00:39:59.060 we're going to persuade anybody. This is, this is what the school fight is all about. There was a
00:40:04.440 video, just went viral on TikTok of a preschool, a preschool teacher talking about how she is
00:40:10.220 indoctrinating her kids in transgender ideology. There it says to the parents who refuse to educate
00:40:17.340 their kids on queerness. I'm an openly non-binary trans preschool teacher. I talked to my students
00:40:23.700 about pronouns, transness, gender expression, and sexuality. Ha ha ha, right? You, you parents
00:40:30.280 think you're going to keep this away from your kids? Well, no, because I'm going to teach them about
00:40:34.300 it. Now I, I give the woman or man or non-binary or I don't know, I'm not going to venture a guess
00:40:45.600 here. I give this individual some credit, at least for the courage of his or her convictions.
00:40:54.640 A lot of conservatives won't, won't say what they need to say, which is we need to ban these ideas
00:41:00.320 from the classroom, right? That's what the parents in Loudoun County and elsewhere are saying. They're
00:41:03.860 saying we don't, we don't want, you can't, shouldn't teach our kids a bunch of false nonsense about
00:41:07.380 their sex or their race or whatever. And a lot of the conservative elites will say, well, no, we don't,
00:41:12.980 we don't support banning any ideas from the classroom. Why not? If you don't support banning ideas
00:41:16.460 from the classroom, then how do you stop that? How do you stop this lunatic pervert individual
00:41:21.900 from indoctrinating your three-year-old into believing that little Johnny is little Jane?
00:41:27.680 How do you do it? If you're not willing to stand by the courage of your convictions, how do you stop
00:41:32.420 it? Speaking of TikTok lunatics, there's another, I go through these TikTok videos, not only because
00:41:41.100 they're amusing, they are amusing often, but because they're extremely educational and extremely
00:41:47.060 insightful. Like this guy who is dressed up like a woman who says you might oppose transgenderism,
00:41:55.320 but you will respect transgenderism. Let me tell you something about LGBTQ, right? It's about
00:42:02.060 trans rights. This is only going in one direction. You will respect us.
00:42:08.960 You can be upset. You can be angry. You can think it's unfair. You can feel like we're stealing
00:42:17.140 something from you, but it's still only going in one direction. You will respect us.
00:42:25.600 He's right. He's right. You will, you will respect transgenderism. You will, because if you don't,
00:42:32.820 you'll be punished. So you, and you might not believe it in your heart of hearts and you might still
00:42:37.400 think it's crazy, but you will show public respect for it because the boot of the establishment will
00:42:43.520 come down on your neck if you don't. He's absolutely right. The, the lie, the delusion was that these
00:42:52.620 radical ideologies merely seek acceptance. Just be tolerant. Just be inclusive. Just be accepting.
00:43:00.640 No, it was never about that. They seek affirmation. They demand affirmation. They have to. Why? Because
00:43:12.820 we live in a society, because we're not just atoms floating in the ether. And so you cannot have a
00:43:19.000 society in which the country is split, radically split on the question of what is human nature.
00:43:27.620 We have to agree on some things if we're going to have a society. And at the very least,
00:43:33.260 you need to agree on what a human being is. And if half the country, I don't think it's quite this
00:43:39.440 much, but let's, let's say it's the left believes one thing. The right believes the other. Half the
00:43:43.060 country believes that human nature has nothing to do with your body. And the other half believes that
00:43:50.640 it does. And, you know, one half believes that men can become women and do. And the other half believes
00:43:56.940 that they can't, you're not going to be able to function. You're not going to be able to speak
00:43:59.800 to one another. You're not going to know what pronouns to use. We currently don't know what
00:44:02.860 pronouns to use. And so you're going to have to resolve that question at the public level.
00:44:08.280 So what's it going to be? And what the liberals will tell you is, look, you might have your
00:44:12.740 personal reservations about transgenderism, but we all need to agree on accepting it at the political
00:44:17.240 level. You might have your personal reservations about abortion, but we all need to agree that we
00:44:21.560 should kill 60 million babies since Roe versus Wade. And it's just a, it's just a trick. It's
00:44:27.220 just a little political slate of hand that has given them the entire culture. The live and let live
00:44:32.680 language of the left was never real. It was never serious. It was always an instrument toward achieving
00:44:40.280 their ends. Academic freedom, the free marketplace of ideas, live and let live. It was always a lie.
00:44:47.240 Okay. And now the right is befuddled and they'll say, what happened to the tolerant? So much for
00:44:52.120 the tolerant left, what happened to live and let live? What happened to, they never meant it. That's
00:44:56.160 what happened. It was always a lie to trick you into giving up your culture and your standards.
00:45:00.440 And now they've got the upper hand and they are doing what they naturally would do, which is enforce
00:45:05.300 their own standards, like all societies. So what's, what's the alternative? The New York Times tells us
00:45:12.140 what the alternative is. The New York Times, New York Times, it's just like these wackos on TikTok.
00:45:16.620 Sometimes the New York Times will unwittingly give you the right answer to political problems.
00:45:21.480 Guest essay headline is, what happened to Poland? Warsaw. Not long ago, Poland was seen as the most
00:45:29.340 successful example of democratic transformation in Central and Eastern Europe, a leader in European
00:45:34.140 integration. It was enjoying, as the longtime European commissioner Gunther Verhuggen wrote,
00:45:39.260 a new golden age. Today, the country is again ahead of others. Only this time,
00:45:43.860 it's in the vanguard of European disintegration and democratic dismantling. Poland possesses a
00:45:52.080 traumatic, nervous sense of itself. The current government has tried to channel that anxiety,
00:45:56.580 invading against migrants, Brussels, and liberals to create a fortress mentality. Despite occasional
00:46:02.400 setbacks, such as the president's decision to veto a controversial media bill, it has succeeded.
00:46:06.860 So what are they actually, they're saying that Poland was really democratic when it was doing
00:46:14.760 exactly what the people in Brussels, the leaders of the European Union, the people who were not
00:46:19.420 accountable to the citizens of Poland, wanted them to do. So when Poland was suppressing the will of
00:46:27.760 its own people and just going along with what a distant tyrant told them to do, that was democratic.
00:46:33.740 But now that Poland is doing what its own people want them to do and doing what its own people
00:46:39.860 elected them to do, now it's anti-democratic. Do you see the problem there? Do you see?
00:46:46.680 As I have said for quite a while, I actually wrote a book on this topic called Speechless,
00:46:49.860 Controlling Words, Controlling Minds. The left has just redefined democracy to mean not democracy.
00:46:56.000 They've completely switched the meaning of democracy. How does this make any sense? How do they get
00:47:01.240 away with it? Adrian Vermeule, the Harvard Law professor, one of the greatest Twitter accounts,
00:47:06.540 has a great sub-stack also with some other good thinkers called the post-liberal order.
00:47:11.140 Adrian Vermeule points out that if you just switch out the words democracy and liberalism,
00:47:17.980 things start to make sense. What the left considers democracy is not when you follow the will of the
00:47:25.780 people, but when you just go along with some elite liberal idea. This is why when the people elect
00:47:30.880 Donald Trump, that's a threat to democracy. And it's why when the people's will is thwarted,
00:47:37.060 that is a vindication of democracy if it goes in the left-wing direction.
00:47:42.260 So what are we going to have? Which way are we going to? What Poland has done is become much more
00:47:46.700 conservative and said no to the distant liberal elites in Brussels and has said yes to its own culture and
00:47:53.900 its own history and its own religion. It's become significantly more Christian. Don't forget,
00:47:59.340 Poland played a big role in the fall of the Soviet empire. Poland, when the Poles came out,
00:48:05.080 when St. John Paul II walked up and they chanted, we want God, we want God.
00:48:10.140 They, which way are we going to go? Are we going to go in the direction of elite liberal rule or are we
00:48:17.460 going to channel the legitimate frustrations of the people who no longer have confidence in their own
00:48:23.500 ruling class, which seems increasingly to despise them and consider them deplorable and irredeemable?
00:48:28.660 Which side are we going to take? Liz Cheney's right that we need to make a choice. She's wrong about
00:48:32.800 what that choice is and she's on the wrong side of it, but we will need to make that choice.
