00:00:37.660 The White House strategy is not working.

00:00:40.360 That statement could apply to basically any area of public policy, the economy, immigration, crime, education, certainly foreign policy.

00:00:50.380 But it is especially true of Ukraine, which Joe Biden and company have botched every single step of the way for years,

00:01:01.100 going all the way back to the time that Joe Biden was vice president and the point man on Ukraine.

00:01:05.460 So when Kamala Harris was asked this week what the Biden administration planned to do differently moving forward,

00:01:12.740 you might have expected them to offer at least, I don't know, one or two suggestions, but you would be wrong.

00:01:20.120 Despite failure after failure, after catastrophic failure, the White House plans to change nothing.

00:01:30.140 So what else do we have to throw at this when Putin so far is undeterred?

00:01:33.840 Well, we are going to continue to do what we've done.

00:01:37.980 They're going to continue to do what they've done, exactly what they are already doing, which hasn't worked.

00:01:46.280 Just like the last time Kamala was asked about changing a failed strategy.

00:01:52.040 At what point does the administration say, you know what, this strategy isn't working, we're going to change strategies?

00:01:58.040 Six former administration officials last week wrote that open letter urging the administration to change course, to change strategy.

00:02:06.600 Is it time?

00:02:08.180 It is time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day.

00:02:14.920 Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down.

00:02:25.580 Inspiring.

00:02:26.140 It is time.

00:02:27.980 Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.

00:02:30.340 It is time.

00:02:31.360 We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

00:02:33.520 It is time for us to be doing what we have been doing, and that time is every day.

00:02:40.980 The White House remains confident that, in the long run, their strategy, which has never worked, is going to work.

00:02:49.120 Kamala Harris is just as confident today of their strategy to stop the Russian war in Ukraine as she was six weeks ago, that the war would never start in the first place.

00:02:59.380 I will repeat myself, and I'm vice president of the United States, and the president and I work closely together, and I know his position because he has been consistent in that regard.

00:03:10.340 If Vladimir Putin and Russia takes aggressive action, it will be met with a cost that will be severe.

00:03:20.120 It will, of course, it wasn't.

00:03:23.340 It happened, it wasn't.

00:03:24.600 They have no credibility, but Joe Biden's been consistent.

00:03:27.500 He has been consistent.

00:03:28.700 Don't worry, it'll work this time.

00:03:30.960 The White House strategy and the definition of madness, doing the same things over and over and over again and expecting different results.

00:03:40.660 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:03:41.640 This is the Michael Knowles Show.

00:03:49.620 Welcome back to the show.

00:05:43.700 The Biden administration does not have time to change its strategy on the economy, which has failed.

00:05:50.780 And they're lying about the economy, too.

00:05:52.800 They're saying Joe Biden's created more jobs than anybody.

00:05:54.880 That's not true.

00:05:56.240 Even the New York Times is now admitting in a fact check that that's not true.

00:05:59.760 What happened was, at the end of the Trump administration, all of the liberal ruling class establishment intentionally shut down all of the jobs for the COVID-19 thing.

00:06:11.440 And they shut them down, and then Joe Biden gets into office, and they say, okay, you can let up again.

00:06:15.940 And so, obviously, if you get rid of all the jobs, then some jobs are going to come back.

00:06:19.580 But the jobs haven't reached pre-pandemic levels.

00:06:22.120 So Joe Biden on the economy, on jobs, is a failure.

00:06:25.960 On crime, total failure.

00:06:27.700 Crime is spiking.

00:06:28.580 It's through the roof.

00:06:29.340 On immigration, we've got the worst immigration numbers ever in the history of the United States.

00:06:33.900 Illegal immigration, what did we have? 1.00

00:06:35.180 Two million illegal immigrants crossed that border last year.

00:06:37.500 We've never seen anything like that in recent memory.

00:06:41.840 And foreign policy goes without saying.

00:06:43.860 Foreign policy has been a total disaster.

00:06:45.720 So they can't address any of their failed strategies on that because they're too busy.

00:06:50.400 They're focused on the really important issues, not the economy, not immigration, not crime, not foreign policy.

00:06:54.460 They're focusing on transing the kids. 0.62

00:06:58.720 That is priority number one for the Biden administration.

00:07:01.880 He talked about it during the State of the Union.

00:07:03.640 It's the only area of policy where he is taking new and aggressive action right now, even as the rest of the country collapses.

00:07:09.920 Why is he doing that?

00:07:11.360 Because Texas is doing a very good thing. 0.85

00:07:14.300 In Texas right now, good old Republican state, Texas is going after parents who are abusing their children by mutilating their genitals and pumping them full of hormones to convince little boys that they're little girls. 0.53

00:07:27.440 There's a story about this right now in the New York Times.

00:07:30.360 New York Times headline, Texas investigates parents over care for transgender youth, suit says, over care.

00:07:38.720 How are they caring for their transgender youth? 0.99

00:07:40.720 By mutilating their bodies and pumping them full of poison. 0.92

00:07:43.560 The investigations by the State's Department of Family and Protective Services started last week with an employee of the agency, according to the suit, after Governor Greg Abbott called for such inquiries.

00:07:56.260 So, in Texas, you are not allowed to trans your kids, which is a good thing. 1.00

00:08:03.200 It's a good thing for the kids.

00:08:04.660 It's not good to mutilate the bodies of little kids.

00:08:07.540 It's a good thing for society. 0.97

00:08:10.820 It's a really sick, perverted society, unjust society that mutilates little kids because of sexual fads and fashions that have been around for approximately five minutes. 0.92

00:08:20.860 It's a really good for the rule of law. 0.97

00:08:25.340 And the New York Times is furious.

00:08:27.240 The libs are furious. 0.99

00:08:28.440 They are so insistent that we trans the freaking kids. 0.98

00:08:33.420 They're trying to put it into federal law. 0.97

00:08:36.080 They're trying to put it into the Civil Rights Act.

00:08:38.600 They're trying to put it, they're reading it into Supreme Court decisions.

00:08:41.860 They're focusing on it as a presidential priority to go in and tell Texas parents that they have the right to chop up their kids. 1.00

00:08:53.220 It's creepy.

00:08:54.160 It's creepy and weird.

00:08:55.240 It's a weird obsession.

00:08:57.360 The transgenderism craze has only been around for, what, five or ten years at this point?

00:09:01.500 Basically, the minute that the libs succeeded at radically redefining marriage, all of their radical sexual apparatus just moved on to transgenderism. 0.74

00:09:13.000 Which is kind of ironic because it totally undermines the argument for homosexuality.

00:09:16.780 The argument for gay marriage was, look, people are born this way. 0.71

00:09:20.460 They can't change who they love.

00:09:21.680 They can't change their sexual desires.

00:09:23.220 There's, when boys are boys and the boys are attracted to other boys, then there's no way for the boys not to pursue their romantic love for other boys.

00:09:30.720 And that's why we need to redefine marriage. 0.95

00:09:32.260 Also, there's no such thing as boys.

00:09:34.660 Also, there's no such thing as girls. 1.00

00:09:36.940 Also, a boy can become a girl.

00:09:38.240 But never mind, moving on, moving on, nothing to see here.

00:09:40.940 So it was totally incoherent, but they've really gone all in on it.

00:09:43.680 And now the Biden administration is doubling down.

00:09:47.560 And they're saying, no, you will, you will trans the kids. 0.92

00:09:50.580 Joe Biden and his HHS secretary, Xavier Becerra, have come out and said, this is going to be a major fight for our administration.

00:09:59.840 Joe Biden said, quote, affirming a transgender child's identity is one of the best things a parent, a teacher, or a doctor can do to help keep children from harm.

00:10:11.600 And parents who love and affirm their children should be applauded and supported, not threatened, investigated, or stigmatized.

00:10:17.920 I totally agree with that.

00:10:18.980 I 100% agree with that.

00:10:22.140 It is very important to affirm a transgender child's identity.

00:10:29.140 Transgender children, for instance, boys who think they're girls, are boys. 0.96

00:10:34.640 It's really important to affirm their true identity as boys.

00:10:38.580 It does not help them to indulge the delusion or the sexual fetish or the fantasy that they are girls or something else or not boys or girls or some 57th gender.

00:10:50.960 That doesn't help them at all.

00:10:52.840 We've gone through the statistics many times on the show.

00:10:55.520 But there is no real evidence that having some mutilation surgery reduces rates of anxiety, depression, or suicide among sexually confused people who think they're the opposite sex.

00:11:07.220 There is no evidence of that whatsoever.

00:11:09.660 However, there is actually a lot of evidence that if you just tell your little boy, no, you actually are a boy, you tell your little girl, no, you actually are a little girl, that eventually, in at least a large number of cases, the delusion, the dysphoria goes away.

00:11:27.660 So it is much, much better to tell your child, no, look, we love you.

00:11:32.620 I know you're going through this tough thing.

00:11:33.800 I know you're experiencing this hard problem right now.

00:11:35.980 But you really are a boy.

00:11:37.780 Don't run away with delusion.

00:11:39.880 Now, that's not what Joe Biden means.

00:11:41.200 That's what his words literally mean.

00:11:42.900 But the left always twists words to try to mean their opposite, which was the topic of my book, Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds, which is going to be available in paperback coming out in June.

00:11:52.740 Thank you to everyone who made it a number one national bestseller in hardcover.

00:11:55.820 It's coming out in paperback.

00:11:56.680 I can't wait until it comes out and the New York Times snubs us again.

00:12:00.040 Well, too bad.

00:12:00.660 You can preorder your copy right now.

00:12:02.820 That's what the left tries to do.

00:12:03.900 That's what Joe Biden is trying to do here.

00:12:05.940 Xavier Becerra, the HHS secretary, says the same thing.

00:12:08.340 He says, the Department of Health and Human Services is, quote, committed to protecting young Americans who are targeted because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

00:12:17.260 Don't forget, those two things are contradictory.

00:12:20.160 Sexual orientation means stuff about your sex can't change.

00:12:23.700 Gender identity means stuff about your sex always can change, and it must change. 0.98

00:12:29.360 He says, HHS has to evaluate the tools at our disposal to protect trans and gender diverse youth in Texas.

00:12:35.860 Good job, Texas.

00:12:37.000 Stand firm.

00:12:37.460 This is a very important battle.

00:12:38.700 If it were just a minor trivial issue, the White House, the entire liberal establishment, would not be going all in on it.

00:12:45.240 Stand firm.

00:12:45.880 This is one of those issues on which civilization itself rests.

00:12:49.900 If we can't tell the difference between boys and girls, we can't tell anything. 0.69

00:12:53.680 It's hard to tell very much of anything at all in this.

00:12:57.220 It's hard to tell what my dollar is worth these days with rampant inflation, which is why you really ought to check out Birch Gold.

00:13:03.540 Right now, text Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, to 989898.

00:13:10.040 Do it right away because our current inflation is getting out of control.

00:13:14.300 Right now, inflation looks like paying 47% more for fuel than one year ago.

00:13:20.080 Looks like paying 41% more for the same used vehicle if you buy it this year instead of last year.

00:13:26.340 Those are insane price hikes.

00:13:27.960 Looks like paying almost 10% more to feed your family.

00:13:30.780 Looks like every dollar in your savings account is worth less than it was a year ago.

00:13:35.900 But you can hedge against the U.S. dollar by investing in something with real value.

00:13:40.620 Gold and silver from Birch Gold.

00:13:42.840 Gold. Precious metals have historically been a safe haven in times of inflation.

00:13:47.460 Birch Gold is the leader in converting IRAs and 401ks into a tax-sheltered IRA backed by gold and silver.

00:13:52.780 They got thousands of customers, an A-plus rating from the Better Business Bureau.

00:13:56.300 They can help you protect your savings.

00:13:57.720 Right now, text Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, to 989898 to get a free info kit on gold.

00:14:02.700 Every second you wait, your money is worth less and less.

00:14:06.660 Pull over if you need to. Stop right now.

00:14:08.820 Text Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, to 989898.

00:14:11.820 989898. You will get a free info kit. Do it now.

00:14:15.820 Ron DeSantis just keeps the hits on coming.

00:14:20.760 The guy is, in terms of governors in this country, the guy is doing better than basically anybody.

00:14:28.320 He, I don't know how he, he's obviously running for president, so he's gearing all of his actions toward that.

00:14:34.460 But it's great. It's really working. He had, this is my favorite DeSantis moment yet, and it happened just yesterday at the University of South Florida.

00:14:44.640 Governor DeSantis was going up to give a little talk, do a little photo line, and he sees students wearing the stupid masks. 0.99

00:14:51.960 And Ron DeSantis, he chose his words very carefully, I think. 0.99

00:14:56.820 He corrected these students, and it's a correction that the entire country should hear.

00:15:01.840 You do not have to wear those masks. I mean, please take them off.

00:15:05.020 Honestly, it's not doing anything, and we've got to stop with this COVID theater. 0.85

00:15:08.840 So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.

00:15:11.740 All right, well, it's good to be at USF.

00:15:17.320 Oh, it's good to be at USF. It's good to see Ron DeSantis. And then what do the kids do? They take it off.

00:15:23.060 Of course they take it off. They wanted to take this off the whole time.

00:15:25.920 But people in authority, these petty little tyrants like their professors and these deputy deans of diversity and inclusion that now run all the campuses,

00:15:34.120 they won't let them take it off. But then in walks Mac Daddy DeSantis, and he says, hey, take that off.

00:15:39.660 And what he said was really important. He said a couple things that were slightly different here.

00:15:46.100 He said, if you want to wear it, fine, whatever. But then he said, please take it off.

00:15:54.140 I was thinking of all the various, there's more than just two reactions on the masks, right?

00:15:59.460 It's more than just do wear the mask, don't wear the mask. Some people say, do wear the mask,

00:16:05.420 you must wear the mask, wear the mask all the time. Some people say,

00:16:09.200 wear the mask if you want to. That's your individual choice. Whatever you want to do is

00:16:12.940 totally fine because you have total control over your body and you should never be made to wear

00:16:16.960 something or not wear something that you don't want to wear. It's totally up to you.

00:16:19.500 If you want to look like a bandito in society, fine. If you want to walk around with some filthy cloth 1.00

00:16:24.580 covering your whole face, no big deal. Wear the secular keffiyeh. Whatever you want, individualism, 0.88

00:16:29.780 baby. And then there's the conservative answer, which is take off the stupid mask. It doesn't do anything. 1.00

00:16:35.380 It's disordered for our society to have everyone wandering around like they're about to rob a

00:16:39.900 stagecoach. Don't do it. Take it off. It's dumb. It's weird. It's wrong. And it's not how society

00:16:45.280 should function. And DeSantis, he gave a little hint at the kind of weak, squishy, individual,

00:16:51.440 do whatever you want kind of argument in the middle, which was, look, if you want to wear it,

00:16:54.400 whatever. But most of his argument was, please take it off. It's beyond you don't need to wear it.

00:17:02.000 You don't need to wear the mask. Please take it off. Please. We need to get past this COVID theater.

00:17:10.340 As long as there is a substantial portion of Americans wearing these stupid masks, 1.00

00:17:17.000 we're never going to get past the COVID theater. I'll give you an example of this. 1.00

00:17:23.420 My wife goes to certain classes, right? Sweet little Lisa, you know, she goes to different 1.00

00:17:28.220 classes, sometimes with the baby, sometimes maybe it's an exercise class, this or that.

00:17:31.580 You've all seen this in your own life too. You go to a class, you go to a community group,

00:17:37.500 you go to a meeting. No one wants to wear the mask except for like one person. Like one person

00:17:46.000 is sitting there and she said, and, and what happens as a result of that one person who wants

00:17:51.900 to wear the mask, everyone's got to wear the mask. Okay. Is it, they're all sitting there.

00:17:56.040 We've all got the dumb masks on cause Fauci made us wear it for two years. And then you sit there 0.98

00:17:59.580 and you say, okay. And would it, would people feel comfortable if we, would you mind if maybe

00:18:04.500 we took the masks off and everyone says, Oh, actually, yeah, that would be, I, maybe I would

00:18:09.360 like, and then there's that one person who says, actually guys, I'm, um, I'm super duper immune,

00:18:15.320 immunocompromised. I'm, I have my great, great grandmother-in-law lives three towns over from us

00:18:22.180 and I might see her in six months. So you could, you, we all need to mask up forever,

00:18:26.140 please. And people do it. And they go, it's that, it's the tyranny of the minority in all of these

00:18:32.920 things. Ben sometimes talks about this with vegetarianism in families. Everyone wants to

00:18:38.680 eat meat in your family. Everyone's having a nice time. Oh, good lamb chops. Oh yeah. Nice steak.

00:18:43.560 That's great. Except that one part. Then there's your little sister, your little sister decides to

00:18:49.380 become a vegetarian and Oh, no, don't worry. It's just me. It'll just be me as the vegetarian.

00:18:54.460 And what happens all of a sudden, no one eats meat anymore or your meat consumption dramatically

00:18:59.620 dry. It's the tyranny of the minority. Do not let them get away with this. The masks are dumb.

00:19:04.260 They're stupid. They have no basis in prudence or sense or reason. Drop them as a, as a cultural 1.00

00:19:14.260 ritual. They're hideous and heinous. All they remind me of is the dictatorship of Dr. Fauci. 0.90

00:19:19.820 Ditch him. DeSantis, totally right. He's on a roll. He's on a roll this week. Ron DeSantis last week,

00:19:27.060 I meant to get to the story and we didn't have time, but works just as well. Now, Ron DeSantis

00:19:32.140 was asked to provide Florida national guard troops for the state of the union address.

00:19:38.740 You remember a couple of weeks ago, I said the libs for the libs every single day is January 6th. And

00:19:43.620 there's always an insurrection around the corner and half the country are Nazis and bull Connor, 0.71

00:19:48.160 and they're going to attempt to overthrow the government. So they didn't just put up the fence

00:19:53.580 around the Capitol because of the horn hat guy on January 6th, because some Midwestern dads walked

00:19:59.580 into the Capitol rotunda in some cases with doors open for them by the police and cracked a Coors

00:20:04.320 light and took some pictures. And that was supposed to be, you know, the war of 1812 or something.

00:20:09.660 No, the, the left did it because it helps them to maintain power. Much like the masks are a political

00:20:15.540 symbol that permits the left to maintain power. The, the gate around the Capitol, the fence,

00:20:22.060 we're in dangerous times. Don't claim too many of your rights or liberties. Don't try to get back.

00:20:27.100 This is not normal. You don't get your normal way of life because things are dangerous.

00:20:30.920 And so one of the ways to do this, they put up the stupid fence around the Capitol for the state 0.99

00:20:35.100 of the union. And then they, they asked for national guard troops to come back to Washington DC so that 0.99

00:20:40.400 Washington DC could become an actual military occupied city for the second time in just one year.

00:20:48.040 And they asked Ron DeSantis and he said, no, he said, no, we're not, we're not going to do that.

00:20:52.920 Quote, last week, the Biden administration requested the assistance of state national

00:20:57.620 guards to deploy to Washington DC. I've rejected this request. There will be no Florida national

00:21:04.260 guard sent to DC for Biden state of the union. Absolutely right. And look, Biden's still alive.

00:21:09.020 Well, he's as alive as he was before. At least he's allegedly alive. He's at least being propped

00:21:13.940 up fairly, fairly convincingly. He's fine. It was all good. They never needed to send the national

00:21:20.140 guard. It's theater. Don't do it. It's bad. It's, it's an ugly thing for Washington DC to appear to

00:21:28.340 be a military occupied town in perpetuity for it to look like wartime Baghdad all the time. I went

00:21:36.320 last year when the national guard flooded DC at the request of liberal Democrat politicians,

00:21:44.140 I was there. You know, I flew in, I fly into DC a lot because I do the podcast with Senator Cruz

00:21:50.240 and it's, it's weird. It's like, it doesn't, it feels un-American for us to have troops stationed

00:21:56.660 on every corner all the time. Troops who don't want to be there, by the way, they know it's as

00:21:59.580 ridiculous as we all do. And DeSantis is saying, no, he's offering a different vision, not just of

00:22:07.000 the state of Florida, but of America because he's obviously one of the people running for president.

00:22:11.060 But if you think that DeSantis is just the guy now, or even if you think Trump is just the guy now,

00:22:16.680 I don't think that's quite true. I think there are a lot of people who are eyeing that Republican

00:22:21.620 nomination in 2024. A lot of people who could make a good claim at it. One of the people who's doing

00:22:25.620 that, Glenn Youngkin in Virginia. Glenn Youngkin just came out to give the state, the Commonwealth of

00:22:33.720 Virginia's view on the war in Ukraine. He said, quote, the invasion of Ukraine by Soviet dictator

00:22:39.840 Vladimir Putin cannot stand and the people of the Commonwealth are ready to rally in opposition

00:22:43.620 to this senseless attack on a sovereign nation and Western ideals. Today, we're acting to show

00:22:48.040 our solidarity with the Ukrainian people as they defend their country. And while these are important

00:22:51.980 steps, it is incumbent upon President Biden to take a stronger, more decisive leadership position

00:22:55.680 to end this war. Okay, that's fine. That's nice. I'm sure we all agree with the sentiment expressed

00:23:00.640 in that statement. The question is, why is Youngkin making that statement? Last I checked,

00:23:06.860 Virginia doesn't have a foreign policy. This is one of the issues that governors have when

00:23:11.740 they run for president is that states don't have foreign policies. So Virginia has really

00:23:19.080 almost nothing to say about the war in Ukraine, except that Glenn Youngkin is probably eyeing

00:23:25.080 the White House. He's at the very least eyeing the vice presidency. And frankly, he would make

00:23:30.040 a pretty good candidate. Glenn Youngkin won in a blue state. That's pretty impressive,

00:23:37.680 especially at a time when we are told the suburban voters, the suburban housewives, the moderates,

00:23:42.420 they don't like Trump that much. Trump was too far out there for them. But Republicans can win on

00:23:46.640 these issues, especially parents' issues, especially school boards and critical race theory and

00:23:51.680 transgenderism in the classroom. And oh, exactly the issues that got Glenn Youngkin elected.

00:23:57.080 That could be a powerful ticket, whoever it is, whoever's at the top of the ticket,

00:24:02.920 whoever's at the bottom of the ticket. If you have a guy like Youngkin, it could be pretty

00:24:06.200 interesting. The important thing to remember here, though, because what you're going to hear

00:24:08.940 from a lot of the establishment types is Youngkin, he's a moderate, he's a centrist,

00:24:13.080 he's a fiscal conservative. He just talks about the fiscal issues. That's not true.

00:24:16.880 Don't let them rewrite history. Glenn Youngkin won Virginia on the social issues. He was going to

00:24:22.540 lose Virginia when he was just a chamber of commerce economic candidate. He won on the social

00:24:27.820 issues. The social issues, so-called, are winners for Republicans. There are a lot of issues going

00:24:38.060 on in the country these days. A lot of them are appealing to, can appeal to get regular voters to

00:24:43.540 vote for Republicans. This is true on the social side. It's true on the foreign policy side. It's

00:24:48.840 obviously true when you go to fill up your gas tank. This is basic stuff, which is why you got

00:27:13.700 The book's available for pre-order now at Amazon. Go reserve your copy today. We'll be right back

00:27:17.380 with a lot more.

00:27:29.940 Yesterday was Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a penitential season

00:27:36.360 for all people, really, who consider themselves Christians, especially for Catholics. And how did

00:27:42.900 our nominally Catholic president choose to commemorate and, and, uh, behave on Ash Wednesday? Well,

00:27:51.780 he used the day to defend killing babies.

00:27:54.540 I'm not going to, I'm not, I'm not going to make it. I'm not going to make a judgment for other

00:28:13.280 people. I'm not going to make a judgment for other people. Abortion is the one issue where he won't,

00:28:20.560 he won't make a judgment for other people. And by the way, of course he's making a judgment. He's

00:28:24.020 making the judgment that it's good to be able to kill babies. And he's not only making that judgment 0.99

00:28:28.660 by recognizing this ridiculous Supreme court decision, Roe versus Wade, he's making that

00:28:33.980 judgment much firmer and more clearly because he's saying we need to codify the Roe versus Wade

00:28:39.540 fictional right to abortion into a federal law. So of course he's making a judgment. I love too,

00:28:45.240 how he opens. He says, well, look, I'm not going to get into a debate on theology. Yeah,

00:28:48.760 you probably won't because it's not possible to be a Catholic and to support legal abortion.

00:28:54.680 This isn't, this isn't me throwing bombs. This isn't my political opinion. And you know,

00:28:59.560 it's in some controversial way. It's just simply a fact. It's, it's delineated in the catechism of

00:29:05.160 the Catholic church. It's been Catholic teaching for 2000 years. You can't do it. The reporter asked

00:29:11.220 that question. How, how can you support abortion if you're a Catholic? Well, he, Biden stumbles and

00:29:15.180 mumbles and bumbles over himself because it's a simple answer. You can't, you can't.

00:29:19.020 And Joe Biden has chosen one religion over his nominal religion. He says he's a Catholic,

00:29:26.380 but when Catholicism runs up against leftism, he chooses leftism.

00:29:33.120 When Catholicism and liberalism or leftism or progressivism, where they seem like they could

00:29:39.820 maybe possibly be reconciled, then he doesn't have to make the decision. Well, we should help

00:29:44.640 the poor. Okay, sure. That's something like that. Well, we should, I don't know, be compassionate.

00:29:49.700 Okay, well, there's something there. Okay. Well, we should kill babies. Nope. That's one where,

00:29:54.560 sorry, your, your views have run up against the Catholic view. And the Catholic view, by the way,

00:29:59.120 is not just that we can all debate this. The Catholic view is this is a non-negotiable issue.

00:30:05.180 If you directly cooperate in abortion, you incur an excommunication automatically. You, you cannot do

00:30:13.740 this. Okay. And Joe Biden has chosen to. Now, why has he chosen to? In the past, he has been a little

00:30:23.260 more conservative on abortion. You know, he used to have the safe, legal, and rare perspective. He

00:30:28.340 used to say, I personally oppose abortion, but I publicly defend abortion. Or, you know, he's changed

00:30:32.300 his views pretty much just whichever way the political wind is moving in his party. So he has done it.

00:30:38.340 I don't think because of any deep conviction. I don't think Biden has any convictions at all.

00:30:41.580 He has done it because he thinks that the social issues are losers for conservatives and winners

00:30:48.440 for liberals, but they're not. Just like on so many other issues, Biden is wrong. His strategy here

00:30:57.640 is not correct. This, it may have been true 20 or 30 years ago, the last time Joe Biden was conscious,

00:31:03.480 but it's not true today. Abortion is a winning issue for the pro-life movement.

00:31:10.260 Okay. It's a winning issue for conservatives. Transgenderism is a winning issue for conservatives.

00:31:18.000 Just ask Governor Yunkin. Critical race theory is a winning issue for conservatives. Again,

00:31:26.040 just ask Governor Yunkin or a lot of, a lot of other candidates around the country. 0.99

00:31:31.200 Democrats are crazy. Now, part of the reason they're doing this too is because their base 0.97

00:31:35.820 has gone so all in on abortion and on their, on the social issues that they really can't get out of

00:31:41.980 it because if they try to appease the people in the middle and the independents and the sort of

00:31:46.400 normal people, they'll lose their base and they'll lose elections. And if they go all in on their base,

00:31:50.900 they'll lose the moderates and they'll lose elections. That's why their approval ratings are in the 30s

00:31:53.920 right now when they're not in the 20s. But this was, this was all, it comes, this political problem

00:32:00.320 for Democrats comes as it often does from a philosophical mistake, a theoretical mistake.

00:32:08.140 Years and years ago, going back to Governor Mario Cuomo, Cuomo the first in New York,

00:32:14.040 going back to people like Senator Bob Casey or Governor Bob Casey Sr. of Pennsylvania,

00:32:21.200 you had Democrats who were supposed to be pro-life, but their party was moving in the

00:32:26.660 way of abortion. They'd say, well, look, I personally oppose abortion, but politically,

00:32:31.960 I think everyone should have that choice. I, you know, that's the choice I would make,

00:32:35.100 but you can make whatever choice you want. And this was always incoherent. It's like saying,

00:32:39.120 I personally oppose murder, but politically you need to have the right to commit a murder.

00:32:44.540 I personally oppose armed robbery, but politically you must have the right to armed robbery. It

00:32:49.860 doesn't make any sense. And this, this neat and tidy way to totally separate personal behavior and

00:32:56.800 personal beliefs from political beliefs is completely outside the American tradition,

00:33:03.380 outside the scope of a republic. What is a republic? It's where we all come together and we take our

00:33:08.140 personal opinions of how we view the world and we debate them and we try to persuade our fellow

00:33:12.520 Americans. And then whoever has the strongest argument and persuades the most people wins. 0.92

00:33:17.400 It doesn't make any, so you're simultaneously going to make two separate arguments that are

00:33:22.700 opposed to one another? No, of course not. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

00:33:28.020 So a Democrat, Bob Casey Jr., Bob Casey Sr.'s son, just, just made the same point. He just came out,

00:33:36.280 is nominally Catholic, but he doesn't hold with the church's teaching on non-negotiable matters. So

00:33:41.240 practically speaking, he's not a practicing Catholic. And Bob Casey Sr. says that he's

00:33:47.120 personally pro-life, but he just voted for this law, the Women's Health Protection Act,

00:33:51.480 quote unquote, which is just a baby butcher bill that would ensconce the right to kill children as a 0.67

00:33:56.660 national right, a federal right. No one believes that. He's doing it because he, he's willing to sell

00:34:03.000 his soul. Joe Biden and Bob Casey are willing to sell their souls for another chance at re-election.

00:34:08.620 And the irony is there, it's not going to help them politically. It'll, it's going to hurt them

00:34:13.200 politically. As is so often the case when we sell our souls, we think that it's a really good deal

00:34:18.120 because we get 30 pieces of silver. We get a little fame. We get a little money. We get a little,

00:34:22.180 we get the hot woman. We get the fast car. We get whatever, we get this, the things of this world.

00:34:26.920 But then what happens? What happens with every deal with the devil? It's a bum deal. You don't,

00:34:32.120 you lose in the end. It was never worth it. And that's what we're seeing here. It's so pathetic.

00:34:37.480 It's so pathetic to watch guys who maybe at some point in their lives actually had integrity and 0.99

00:34:43.840 belief and, and principle and kept their eyes on the, on the deeper things in life, 0.97

00:34:48.960 on the really important things in life. Selling out for what? The, the seal claps and the

00:34:54.560 guffawing and applause of, of idiots and degenerates in their own party who, who probably are not even 1.00

00:35:01.520 going to be enough to carry them across the finish line for a reelection. Speaking of kids, 1.00

00:35:05.820 there is some shocking, shocking news to people who have not been paying attention for two years.

00:35:13.260 This from the New York times turns out, you know, I know, look, I know I just want to be very clear for

00:35:18.980 YouTube and for big tech and everybody. The vaccines for COVID are totally 1 million percent safe and

00:35:27.600 totally effective. And you can never get COVID if you get the vaccine and you can certainly never

00:35:32.640 transmit COVID if you get the vaccine, unless and until Dr. Fauci and Rochelle Walensky say you can,

00:35:38.740 at which point they're allowed to say it, but I'm not allowed to admit it. Okay. So the vaccine,

00:35:42.060 the greatest thing ever, the greatest thing since sliced bread, except, except this is weird. The

00:35:48.020 New York times says the Pfizer shot is far less effective in five to 11 year olds than in older

00:35:55.360 kids. New data show this is the next line. This is still right, right below the headline. While

00:36:00.800 protection against hospitalization is still strong, the vaccine offered almost no protection

00:36:07.300 against infection, even just a month after full vaccination. Of course, there's no such thing as

00:36:13.760 full vaccination because they keep adding shots for you to take. So you say full vaccination was

00:36:18.020 supposed to be one or two shots, then three, then four, now five. It's going to be six. They're going

00:36:24.500 to keep doing it. Shocking, shocking to people who still believe Dr. Fauci, still trust the public

00:36:32.080 health establishment, still read the New York times, not shocking to any of us.

00:36:40.020 The left has been telling us, the authorities, the ruling class, all the geniuses have been saying,

00:36:43.920 we need to get kids vaccinated. We, the teacher union said, we can't allow kids back to school

00:36:48.000 until they all get vaccinated. We, the conservative said the vaccines aren't going to do very much for

00:36:53.120 the kids. The kids are at statistically almost no risk of serious adverse side effects from the

00:36:58.640 coronavirus. There's no evidence that the vaccines are going to do very much to the, for the kids

00:37:02.540 anyway. Though, if the point of the vaccines is to mitigate the risk of hospitalization and death,

00:37:08.140 the kids already have basically, you know, an infinitesimally small risk of that. If it's to prevent

00:37:13.520 transmission to older people, the vaccines just don't do that to begin with. So as the New York

00:37:18.380 Times is even admitting here, and they said, no, you're a killer. You're all, you're spreading 0.91

00:37:22.620 misinformation. You're going to be censored. You're going to be shut up. You're going, you're a

00:37:26.860 murderer. You're a threat to the country until we admit that you're right. And we'll never give you 1.00

00:37:31.560 credit for it. And we're still going to keep you censored in many cases. But now just listen to what

00:37:37.060 we're saying today. This is why I got so angry at that SNL clip. SNL did this sketch. We played it

00:37:41.960 on the show yesterday where, where they, it was all these liberals sitting around and it actually

00:37:46.000 summed up the liberal behavior pretty well here, which is they're all wearing their, you know, or one

00:37:50.560 of them's wearing their mask. They say, oh, you can take off the mask. We're sitting at the table.

00:37:53.260 And he laughs. Kenan Thompson laughs. He's like, oh, ha, ha, yeah. I sometimes forget when it's

00:37:57.360 on my face. You know, maybe, do maybe these not work that well? And they all obviously believe that,

00:38:04.060 but no one wants to admit it. They're all terrified. They all want to seem as though they

00:38:07.040 are totally on board with Dr. Fauci and Rochelle Walensky and Joe Biden. And ha, ha, ha, ha. But oh,

00:38:13.080 I guess, and the punchline of the sketch was the masks don't really do anything. Ha, ha, ha, ha.

00:38:17.400 Wasn't that funny? No, that's not your joke, man. That's not funny. Because we were saying that

00:38:22.820 for two years and you inflicted very real penalties on us. You censored us from the public

00:38:27.380 square. You fired us from our jobs in some cases if we wouldn't go along with this. You kicked us

00:38:33.560 out of school if we wouldn't go along. You ruined people's lives. And now, ha, ha, ha. Looks like

00:38:39.120 they were right. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Looks like they were right. Uh-huh. Okay.

00:38:43.340 All that we can take away from this is don't believe these people. Don't believe Fauci. Don't

00:38:51.380 believe Walensky. Don't believe the New York Times. Don't believe big tech. Hold them accountable when

00:38:56.080 they censored us. Hold them accountable when they tried to get us fired. Investigate. Prosecute.

00:39:01.100 Make it hard for these people to do it again. You know the, you want to know the 100% rock solid

00:39:09.500 proof that, that the COVID-19 scare is over, that it's much less severe than, than people ever told

00:39:18.200 us it was and that we can all go on with our lives. The queen just survived COVID. The queen

00:39:26.540 who is one of my favorite people left on earth. I just, I just love her. She's an, she, it's not my

00:39:34.620 country. She's not the head of my church. She is a nice old German lady. I'm, but I just, she's just 0.74

00:39:40.720 great. She's one of the last bastions of dignity and sense and reason in the world. She's 95 years

00:39:46.120 old. She was, she was the queen reigning over Winston Churchill and she gets COVID, which is

00:39:53.440 supposedly the most dangerous, scary disease in the history of the world. It's going to kill all the

00:39:57.100 10 year olds. And she survived after a few days. She had mild cold-like symptoms. There was a news report

00:40:03.660 in the United Kingdom of the therapeutic drugs that she was taking to treat COVID-19. And

00:40:09.140 in the news report, they showed that she was taking ivermectin and which we were all informed

00:40:14.260 was horse dewormer. And then the propaganda ministers went into overdrive. They said,

00:40:18.060 no, it was a mistake. We didn't mean to say it was, no, no, please ignore it. Pay no attention to

00:40:22.800 the man behind the curtain. There's no ivermectin. Even though previously we said it was a wonder drug

00:40:26.640 and the discoverer of it won the Nobel prize and it's been prescribed to humans for years. No,

00:40:31.060 now it's a horse dewormer. It never happened. But anyway, regardless of whatever drugs the queen 0.99

00:40:34.880 is taking, she survived. It's okay. You're going to live. You're going to live. And if you don't

00:40:39.300 look, eventually you're going to die. That's kind of the, the point of Lent is to remember,

00:40:44.200 this is what we heard yesterday on Ash Wednesday. Remember man that you are dust and to dust you will

00:40:48.460 return. So we're all going to die someday, but there are a lot more things on earth that pose a

00:40:54.500 threat to you than COVID-19. And you don't need to give up your jobs and your lives and your family

00:41:00.740 and your friends and your life and your whole freaking life in your political order out of the

00:41:07.940 neurotic fear of COVID-19. If the queen can make it, I have trust in you as well. I love the queen so

00:41:16.480 much in part because although as a matter of chronology, she is older than Joe Biden, significantly

00:41:23.880 older than Joe Biden. She seems much more lucid, much more with it. Joe Biden seems like he's about

00:41:29.080 150 years older than the queen. Joe Biden gave that rambling state of the union a couple of nights

00:41:37.580 ago. He talked about all the important issues. He talked about how we need to trans the kids,

00:41:44.800 talked about that. He talked about, he said, go get him, go get him guys. He talked about,

00:41:49.820 that was important. He talked about maternal healthcare, how we need a national law to kill 1.00

00:41:54.460 babies in America. Because right now we only have a bogus Supreme Court decision that very likely

00:41:58.840 could be overturned. So he found, it was a long speech. He had, there was a lot of time.

00:42:03.680 He didn't talk about one thing though. He didn't talk about the 13 American service members who were

00:42:09.560 killed in Afghanistan during his botched withdrawal from that country. And so give credit to MSNBC,

00:42:17.340 Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary went on MSNBC yesterday. She was asked about this. She said,

00:42:23.260 don't, don't you think maybe Biden should have mentioned the 13 service members in that,

00:42:29.020 in the most significant foreign policy issue of his administration, including Ukraine, which would be

00:42:33.240 the pull out from Afghanistan. Her answer, there just wasn't enough time.

00:42:38.340 So look, a speech like the state of the union, it's hugely important. It doesn't touch on,

00:42:43.460 it doesn't have the time to touch on everything that is a priority.

00:42:47.340 They just didn't have the time because they were spending too much time talking about how we have

00:42:50.640 to trans the kids. That's a much more important issue than the 13 American servicemen who died

00:42:54.960 pulling out of the 20 year war that we had in Afghanistan after September 11th, the most

00:43:00.400 significant terror attack in our nation's history. That, we didn't have time to mention any of that.

00:43:05.240 That doesn't really matter. That's kind of on the priority list. That's a little bit lower

00:43:09.140 when you can talk about important things like transing the kids. But even Psaki's excuse here

00:43:15.700 doesn't hold water because Biden did talk about it. He didn't talk about the service members or

00:43:22.080 Afghanistan, but he did talk about American service members being injured in the line of duty.

00:43:29.120 There was a whole segment of his speech on that. He was talking about how service members who are

00:43:34.720 stationed near burn pits sometimes get diseases. And that's why we need to treat those diseases 0.86

00:43:39.360 because any American who is harmed overseas needs the fullest support of America. Unless you're one

00:43:44.720 of the 13 service members killed on his watch in Afghanistan, then you don't get a mention.

00:43:48.840 Joe Biden talked about his son, Beau Biden, who did not die. He died. He died of a cancer,

00:43:54.480 but he didn't die in combat. He didn't die overseas. And he mentioned his son in the topic about

00:43:58.480 service members being injured, but he couldn't mention the 13 service members killed in the attack

00:44:02.480 in Afghanistan in the poll. It's just so offensive. It's so dishonest when Jen Psaki explains it this

00:44:11.440 way. And it's just gaslighting. I guess that's what's so, I guess that's maybe the most offensive

00:44:18.700 part about it. It's not even what he's doing, but the fact that he won't even acknowledge the reality

00:44:25.220 and he won't let us acknowledge the reality. We all have to be living in this pretend world.

00:44:29.720 Speaking of pretend world, speaking of body dysmorphia and as a national issue,

00:44:36.960 we have to check in with our friends, Libs of TikTok. There is a TikTok that has gone viral

00:44:42.300 of a young woman describing the national epidemic of fat phobia.

00:44:51.740 Let's talk about body preferences. I've heard a lot of talk like, oh, I don't hate fat people,

00:44:57.220 but I'm not attracted to them and I don't want to date them. It's just my preference. Maybe

00:45:04.560 in an ideal circumstance, in a world that was forever body neutral and did not demonize fat

00:45:12.920 people, that could be a preference. Maybe. But is there really such a thing as preference in a

00:45:21.580 society that exclusively demonizes an option? Fat people are branded as disgusting, branded as 0.97

00:45:30.800 something to be eliminated, unhygienic, lazy, XYZ, everything else. And we've received that 0.99

00:45:38.200 messaging since we were born. Our culture is deeply rooted and entrenched in fat phobia. Chances are

00:45:44.860 it's not just a preference. And you've just been taught to think fat people are gross. 0.99

00:45:50.900 Fat phobia. Everything is a phobia. The line here that really caught my attention is she said 0.98

00:45:58.180 that we're taught that fat people need to be eliminated. But what are you talking about?

00:46:02.700 Not even in the days of Michelle Obama, who really did seem to have a grudge against fat people.

00:46:07.200 You know, her big initiative in the White House was taking away snacks from kids at lunch, 0.99

00:46:11.680 taking away their little sweets in their school lunches and making the meat, celery or whatever.

00:46:17.860 But even in those days, I don't think anyone was calling for a genocide of fat people.

00:46:21.700 Do you remember that? I don't remember that. Then I thought, what on earth could she mean?

00:46:24.640 Oh, she means that people who are overweight are encouraged to get into shape. That's what she

00:46:30.720 means. But you're not being eliminated. You're just getting into shape. It's the same issue actually

00:46:39.140 that we have with the transgenderism, which is the only way that fat people are being eliminated by 1.00

00:46:46.900 being encouraged to get into shape is if their identity is fatness, which is a mistaken identity.

00:46:53.700 That's not who you are. Plenty of people are overweight. Plenty of people have some issue with

00:46:58.800 their bodies, right? I guess basically everybody has some issue with their bodies. This is a fallen

00:47:02.960 world. It's an imperfect world. Sometimes we're just born that way. You got a thyroid condition.

00:47:07.220 You're a little bit bigger. Sometimes through our own habits, we just, we eat a little too much.

00:47:12.200 We're a little slothful. We don't work out. We don't. And these are problems and you can,

00:47:15.440 you can try to work on these and you need to accept the natural limits of a fallen world. But okay,

00:47:19.620 maybe you can improve. So I know people have lost a lot of weight and gotten into really good shape

00:47:23.160 when they were not in very good shape before. It's not your identity. You, just like the transgender 1.00

00:47:30.300 person, the identity of a man who thinks that he's a woman, of Stanley who thinks that he's Sheila,

00:47:35.860 his true identity is not Sheila. His true identity is Stanley. It's not, the word phobia,

00:47:42.500 it means an irrational fear. So you hear this about transphobia, all sorts of phobias, fat phobia.

00:47:50.700 It's not, not every traditional preference is irrational. Not every standard is irrational.

00:48:00.640 It's not irrational to think that a little boy who wants to become a girl should not mutilate 0.99

00:48:06.320 himself and chop off his genitals. That's not, that's actually rational to think that he shouldn't 0.98

00:48:10.720 do that. That's because there are standards. We can know things through reason. We can, it's okay.

00:48:17.720 And by the way, to have a standard doesn't mean that you're saying that everyone who falls short

00:48:22.220 of that standard is evil. All men sin and fall short of the glory of God. This is an imperfect world.

00:48:26.040 But if we don't have standards to strive toward, standards of the good, the true and the beautiful,

00:48:31.500 not the ugly and the wicked and the false and the, you know, the standards that the left is

00:48:34.840 pushing on us. If we don't have good, true standards to strive toward, our society is going to decay.

00:48:40.860 That's what's going on around us. And, and a society that allows itself to do that

00:48:44.720 is quite irrational. Indeed. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. I'll see you tomorrow.

00:49:40.920 Today on the Matt Wall Show, crazed LGBT activists at a Texas university go insane,

00:49:45.800 shouting, screaming, stomping, and spitting because a campus speaker said that we shouldn't 0.90

00:49:50.140 castrate little boys. This is the state of the university system in our country. We'll talk 1.00

00:49:54.740 about it and play some of the footage, which you have to see as well. Also, Ron DeSantis provokes

00:49:58.520 widespread media condemnation because he told some kids they don't have to wear a mask. He's right,

00:50:03.140 of course, as usual. Plus, a handful of Republicans refused to sign a congressional resolution in support

00:50:07.780 of Ukraine. We'll look at their reasoning and you can decide if they were right or wrong.

00:50:11.460 And Ukraine has found a way to deal with looters. It's a strategy that I think we should probably 0.56

00:50:15.420 think of adopting. In our Daily Cancellation, a Hollywood icon is in trouble with the mob

00:50:19.360 because he didn't like Hollywood's latest gay western. We'll talk about that and much more

00:50:23.340 today on the Matt Wall Show.
