Ep. 973 - University President Condemns My "Hate" Speech Before I've Spoken

Summary

On Thursday, conservative commentator Michael Kowalski is scheduled to give a speech at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. The student group invited him to speak on the controversial topic of "Men Are Not Women." President Jerry Farley, the school's president, is preemptively condemning me for the speech I have yet to give.

00:00:00.000 Every time I fly into Kansas City to give a speech, there's a problem. A few years ago,
00:00:06.460 I flew in to speak at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, to give a speech titled Men Are Not
00:00:12.280 Women. And some wacko in the audience attacked me. And the following day, the chancellor of
00:00:18.200 the university sent out an email to the entire school apologizing, not to me for being attacked,
00:00:25.240 but to everyone else for the fact that I had been invited in the first place.
00:00:30.480 Well, it's deja vu all over again. This Thursday, I am scheduled to fly into Kansas City to give
00:00:38.160 another speech, this time at Washburn University in Topeka. The student group that invited me
00:00:44.360 wants me to speak on the very same topic. This confusion between men and women and what the
00:00:50.620 difference is, it seems to have only gotten worse in recent years. As Judge Ketanji Jackson proved last
00:00:56.860 week during her Supreme Court nomination, or her confirmation hearings rather, when she could not
00:01:01.520 define the word woman. Yet again, the university leadership has sent out an email condemning me
00:01:10.320 for a speech I have not yet given for making the bold and controversial claim that boys and girls
00:01:18.820 are different. I received an anonymous tip last night that has since been confirmed,
00:01:23.520 that the president of the university, Jerry Farley, sent out a campus-wide email preemptively
00:01:31.520 condemning me for the speech that I have yet to give. This president, Jerry Farley, I've just
00:01:37.060 confirmed with Young America's Foundation, personally signed the contract inviting me to speak.
00:01:43.580 He personally signed a physical contract on March 8th saying, Michael, please come visit
00:01:49.660 Washburn University and give your talk. And now, before I even give the speech, this man is condemning
00:01:56.120 me as the worst person in the world. Here's what he had to say to the Washburn University community.
00:02:02.920 A Washburn student organization has invited a speaker to campus who has a history of inciting fear and
00:02:10.200 distrust. While I am strongly in support of First Amendment rights, I am disappointed when those
00:02:16.300 rights are used to make others feel unwelcome and even unsafe in our community. While we support the
00:02:23.200 right to speak freely, Washburn University does not condone the hate and misinformation spread by the
00:02:30.700 speaker and his supporters. I'm going to pause right there. Those are some pretty bold claims that this
00:02:37.920 man is making about me. Inciting fear and distrust, making others feel unsafe, spreading hate and
00:02:48.080 misinformation. What evidence does he cite for these defamatory claims? Nothing, of course. No evidence exists.
00:02:57.060 It's just not true. I haven't done any of those things. He is libeling and defaming me. A speaker who he
00:03:04.240 personally invited to his campus, when he signed that contract, that is a personal invitation.
00:03:09.080 He is endorsing the student group's invitation. He is defaming me in the most vicious language he can
00:03:14.520 based on absolutely nothing. He goes on. Thursday also happens to be International Trans Visibility Day.
00:03:25.220 Washburn University supports the trans community and students who identify as LGBTQ+.
00:03:32.440 Side note, apparently now we're capitalizing the T in trans. I don't know when that happened.
00:03:37.760 That's the new thing. So just to let you know where the rules are. Trans Visibility Day, by some happy
00:03:42.980 coincidence or providence perhaps. He goes on. We support and stand in solidarity with trans people
00:03:49.100 around the world and encourage you to learn more about the issues affecting students, faculty, and staff
00:03:54.840 who identify as LGBTQ+. We will continue to engage our resources to influence the campus community
00:04:01.780 to be an inclusive place where all feel they are protected, affirmed, and valued.
00:04:09.240 An inclusive place where everyone is affirmed and valued, except for that hate-mongering monster,
00:04:17.460 Michael Knowles, that devil himself who has the gall to say that boys aren't girls at a university.
00:04:24.300 Except for the students who invited that horrible monster, and the faculty, and every sensible person
00:04:31.820 in the history of the world, all of whom know that men and women are different, all of whom said so
00:04:38.940 until five minutes ago when our leaders decided we were not allowed to state basic truths anymore.
00:04:45.300 He concludes,
00:04:46.760 I encourage you to celebrate the day with messages of compassion and support. With your help, this
00:04:52.580 university can be a shining light and example to the greater community. We will learn together
00:04:58.160 and from each other, and we will be better people for the effort. Jerry Farley, President.
00:05:05.200 I hope we will learn together. I hope the excitable leftists at Washburn University, President Farley
00:05:15.180 foremost among them, will be able to learn from my speech on Thursday about how boys and girls are
00:05:21.660 different. Probably should have learned that a little bit earlier than college. Probably should
00:05:25.540 have learned that a little bit earlier than becoming the president of a college. But I hope they learn
00:05:30.480 basic truths about human nature. And if that's too much for them, I hope at the very least,
00:05:35.520 they learn that conservatives are not going to be bullied and silenced and forced to kowtow to their
00:05:40.400 ridiculous ideological fantasies. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:05:52.940 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is from Kenny Newdorf, who says,
00:05:57.740 I like how people talk about really accepting who you are while they are taking medications to change
00:06:03.760 everything about themselves. Well, this is just the point, isn't it? We're told you have to accept who
00:06:08.560 you really, really are deep, deep down. And who you really, really are, according to this destructive
00:06:14.260 ideology, has absolutely nothing to do with the person that you are in reality. It's just who you
00:06:20.080 really, really are is, according to these people, what you are in secret. It has nothing to do with the
00:06:25.800 physical world, has nothing to do with what we can see and touch and feel. And no, it has nothing to
00:06:29.960 do with that. It's something completely different. And so accepting who you are means mutilating your
00:06:34.720 body, taking all sorts of drugs, and trying to deny who you really are. Not a great idea.
00:06:42.820 You want to be, in this life, you want to be the best version of yourself, who you really,
00:06:49.020 truly are. Not some fantasy, but who you really, truly are. You want your car and your truck to be the
00:06:53.520 best version of themselves, which is why you've got to check out rockauto.com. Right now, go to
00:06:58.100 rockauto.com and write Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, in their How Did You Hear About Us box, so they know
00:07:03.900 that I sent you. Rockauto.com is going to save you money. It's going to save you time. It's going to
00:07:09.860 help you to improve your car, improve your truck, to do the things that you've got to do to get around,
00:07:17.920 to live your life. And you're not going to have to stand and wait at the brick and mortar store,
00:07:21.480 where you drive, you wait in line, you get peppered with a thousand questions. They don't
00:07:25.680 have the part, because there's just too many parts to stock these days. Then you've got to go back,
00:07:29.260 you've got to wait two weeks, don't do it. Rockauto.com, same reliably low prices for pros and
00:07:33.880 do-it-yourselfers. You could save 20%, 30%, 50% on the parts that you need. The website's so easy
00:07:41.120 to navigate, even I can do it. They're a great family company serving auto parts customers online for 20
00:07:45.720 years. Great supporters, this show, which we really appreciate. Head on over to rockauto.com right now,
00:07:51.060 see all the parts available for your car or truck, and then write Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S,
00:07:56.180 in their How Did You Hear About Us box, so they know that we sent you.
00:08:00.200 The transgenderism issue is such a big national debate, not because the majority of people are
00:08:08.500 confused about the difference between men and women. They're not. The vast majority of people
00:08:14.080 are extremely clear on the difference between boys and girls. It reminds me of that meme,
00:08:21.880 the IQ bell curve meme, where you've got the really dumb person all the way at the bottom of
00:08:26.640 the bell curve, and he says, you know, men and women are different. And then you go all the way
00:08:31.740 to the top of that bell curve at the IQ, I don't know, about 110 IQ, 120 IQ. So you've got some genius
00:08:37.900 guy says, actually, men and women are exactly the same. And actually, men can become women. And actually,
00:08:41.180 it has nothing, and I can't define what a woman is. I'm not a biologist. And all these kind of,
00:08:46.180 and then you get all the way to the top of the IQ bell curve, and you get the super duper genius
00:08:51.600 Jedi. And he says, actually, men and women are different. Roger Scruton, the late conservative
00:08:56.420 philosopher, he said, the job of the conservative intellectual is to articulate the things that
00:09:02.980 the common people know to be true intuitively. That's the job. And it's only those people in the
00:09:11.160 about this sort of thing. The vast majority of people know that this ideology that is now
00:09:18.740 pumping little kids full of cross-sex hormones, that is mutilating people's perfectly healthy
00:09:23.380 organs, they know that the ideology is wrong. It's based on fantasy, and it's extremely destructive.
00:09:29.860 So then why are we still talking about it? Why does this ideology keep getting pushed?
00:09:34.460 Because it is an elite issue. The elites in government, in academia, in corporate America,
00:09:43.580 the elites are disproportionately pushing this issue. I'm not sure that there's any study on this,
00:09:51.160 so I'm not studying statistics. I'm just speaking anecdotally. In my experience, the people who
00:09:57.840 identify as transgender disproportionately come from the elite classes, come from very wealthy people
00:10:05.080 with fathers and mothers, usually, who are working at very elite jobs. That tends to be where this kind
00:10:11.500 of sexual confusion lies, in my experience. And this was just bolstered. This thesis was just bolstered by
00:10:18.860 a CEO, or the corporate president, rather, at Disney. Christopher Ruffa, who's done a great job
00:10:25.960 exposing critical race theory in schools, is over at the Manhattan Institute. Chris Ruffa has just come
00:10:33.920 upon some private footage of an all-hands call at Disney, a video call, where the Disney corporate
00:10:40.140 president described her multiple trans and pansexual children and called for more LGBTQ leads in Disney
00:10:49.620 movies. I'm here as a mother of two queer children, actually. One transgender child and one pansexual
00:11:01.040 child, and also as a leader. And that was the thing that really got me because I have heard so much
00:11:09.140 from so many of my colleagues over the course of the last couple weeks in open forums and through emails
00:11:15.800 and phone conversations. And I feel a responsibility to speak, not just for myself, but for them,
00:11:25.340 to all of us. We had an open forum last week at 20th, where, again, the home of really incredible,
00:11:33.520 groundbreaking LGBTQIA stories over the years, where one of our execs stood up and said, you know,
00:11:40.820 we only have a handful of queer leads in our content. And I went, what? That can't be true.
00:11:48.560 And I realized, oh, it actually is true. We have many, many, many LGBTQIA characters
00:11:55.720 in our stories, and yet we don't have enough leads.
00:12:03.140 An issue, a sexual and ideological issue that affects an extraordinarily small percentage of the
00:12:09.740 population that is represented in an extraordinary large proportion of the media and in the classrooms
00:12:16.240 and in the corporate boardrooms. The problem, we are told, is that it's not represented enough.
00:12:22.680 Trans Visibility Day, we need Trans Visibility Day. The issue is visible, folks. The issue is visible.
00:12:29.560 The elites in every sphere of our society are pushing it. They're shouting it from the rooftops.
00:12:35.420 Now, speaking of shout, I would strongly recommend you check out Shout Out. Have you ever wanted to
00:12:41.740 send your conservative uncle a birthday greeting from one of his favorite conservative celebrities?
00:12:47.800 Have you ever wanted to send your liberal cousin a birthday greeting from one of her least favorite
00:12:53.540 conservative celebrities? Have you ever wanted to do that? Well, there's only one place to do it,
00:12:57.520 and that would be Shout Out. That is the Shout Out app. The most popular personalities on the right
00:13:03.360 are all there. They're ready to make someone's day with a personalized video. How do you do it?
00:13:07.640 You download Shout Out now on the App Store or Google Play, and you will get 20% off your first
00:13:13.380 customized Shout Out video from the likes of, oh, I don't know, Steven Crowder. Ever hear about that
00:13:18.320 guy? The Hodge twins, JP Sears, Jason Whitlock, or Alex Jones. I want one from Alex Jones.
00:13:24.980 Michael, happy birthday. Don't drink the water. I know, I'm starting to believe that about the water.
00:13:29.800 Right now, head on over to Shout Out. Download the app from the Apple App Store, from Google Play,
00:13:37.120 get it, and make your conservative uncle's day or ruin your liberal cousin's day. Shout Out on the
00:13:43.300 App Store. The corporate president of Disney says that it's very important that we have not just more
00:13:49.800 LGBT LMNOP characters in our movies. There are already a lot, but we need more LGBT LMNOP leads.
00:13:57.580 There are actually already a lot, but we need more. And she says this because she's the parent,
00:14:03.420 she's the mother of a transsexual child and a pansexual child. Now, she's not. She's not the
00:14:13.760 mother of a transsexual and a pansexual. She, I'm sure, is the mother of these two children.
00:14:21.200 And I have no doubt that these children are confused. I don't doubt her that they have
00:14:27.960 sexual confusion. But she is not the mother of a transsexual and a pansexual because those are not
00:14:34.220 real categories of being. I'm not denying anybody's existence. I'm not saying that anyone is invisible
00:14:41.200 to use the language that is so popular these days on the left. But the people that we're talking about
00:14:47.160 here are not transsexual or pansexual is the newest. I don't know what, I think pansexual is just a high
00:14:53.800 class version of bisexual. I don't exactly know what even the meaning, the purported meaning of
00:14:58.740 pansexual is. But whatever it is, these people are not that because it's not a real category of being
00:15:04.760 because a man cannot secretly be a woman. It's just not possible. Lump that one away with Bigfoot
00:15:10.840 and the boogeyman. It's not real. The confusion that these people have may be real. A psychological
00:15:18.440 problem that they have might be real or a social problem, which seems to be the case as these minor,
00:15:24.560 minor, relatively small issues in terms of the population have now exploded to a huge proportion
00:15:31.360 of Gen Z in particular. So it might be the social problem might be real. The confusion might be real.
00:15:36.120 But the actual condition is not because it is not possible. I repeat it because we seem to be so
00:15:45.640 confused. It is not possible for a man to secretly be a woman or for a man to become a woman or for a
00:15:54.500 man to change. Sometimes the left will tell you, well, Michael, sex and gender are different. Sex is
00:16:01.740 not gender. And they say that, and they have a lot of confidence when they say that. But it doesn't
00:16:06.160 mean anything. It's not true. They simply declare it, but they don't provide any evidence for that.
00:16:10.260 What they seem to be insinuating is that sex is physical and gender is metaphysical. But then you
00:16:16.240 have to probe that question further. You say, okay, well, where is gender? Gender is not in the brain.
00:16:20.780 It's not in the body. It's not in the genitals. It's not in the chromosomes. So what is gender?
00:16:24.840 It's non-physical. Okay, it would seem that you're talking about the soul, right? You're talking about the
00:16:28.080 human soul. And very often at that point, they'll say, no, absolutely not. The soul is not real.
00:16:33.340 We're just talking, I'm talking about the brain. Okay, well, if you're talking about the brain,
00:16:36.300 then you're saying it's physical. So now you're saying that sex and gender are physical. And yet
00:16:41.480 your physicality can be both male, entirely male and entirely female. That's not possible. That
00:16:47.820 violates the law of non-contradiction. We've known that since old uncle Aristotle. Well, even if they go
00:16:53.000 and say, okay, gender is non-physical, let's say they'll say that gender is socially constructed.
00:16:59.120 Okay, if it's socially constructed, then reconstruct it. If it's causing you this great
00:17:02.940 deal of suffering, and one of them is immutable, your body, your physique, and then the other one
00:17:07.740 is changeable, your socially constructed gender identity, then just reconstruct it. That's pretty
00:17:13.480 easy. Problem solved. Why would you undergo painful, destructive surgeries and hormone therapies
00:17:20.620 when you could just change the social construction? Well, no, because it's back in the body. Okay,
00:17:25.660 then we're back to square one. It's an incoherent ideology that benefits absolutely no one and is
00:17:31.280 driving society crazy because a bunch of elites can't work through their own personal problems.
00:17:36.100 And because a bunch of elites are enthralled to an extraordinarily stupid and destructive ideology.
00:17:43.360 It's not just this woman. It's not just this lady who's, what are the odds? Has two
00:17:49.700 trans and pansexual children. The odds of having one, even according to the most generous statistics,
00:17:56.520 are infinitesimally small. The odds of having two, maybe there's something more going on here. Either
00:18:02.800 there is something in the water, and Alex Jones is right, or maybe there's something more going on
00:18:07.740 socially. Maybe there's something more going on within the family. Maybe there's something going on
00:18:12.180 ideologically. A Disney production manager was also caught on this open call.
00:18:17.400 claiming that we need more LGBT, LMNOP representation all over the place in Disney.
00:18:27.960 I've had the privilege of working with the Moon Girl team for the last two years,
00:18:32.000 and they've been really open to exploring queer stories. And part of, I'm on the production side,
00:18:37.200 part of the work that I feel like I can put in is making sure that we take place in modern day New
00:18:44.900 York. So making sure that that's like an accurate reflection of New York. So I put together like a
00:18:49.160 tracker of our background characters to make sure that we have like the full breadth of expression.
00:18:55.140 And we got into a very similar conversation, Carrie, of like, oh, all of our like gender nonconforming
00:19:02.980 characters are in the background. And so it's not just a numbers game of how many LGBTQ plus characters
00:19:10.440 you have. We got the further, the more centered a story is on a character, the more nuanced you get
00:19:20.480 to get into their story. And especially with like trans characters, you can't see if someone is trans.
00:19:27.360 There's not one way to look trans. And so kind of the only way to have these like canonical trans
00:19:33.920 characters, canonical asexual characters, canonical bisexual characters is to give them stories where
00:19:40.040 they can like be their whole selves.
00:19:43.460 Canonical transsexual, not, we don't just need the characters. I mean, canonical transsexual and
00:19:50.240 canonical asexual characters where they can be themselves. That's the funniest part of all. That's the
00:19:58.060 funniest part of all because the transgender ideology explicitly says, as that commenter made clear at
00:20:02.380 the top, it explicitly says, don't be yourself. Be an imaginary version of yourself. Be a fantasy. Be the way
00:20:11.760 that you would prefer that you're yourself to be rather than the way that you are in reality. It's the opposite
00:20:17.500 of living authentically. It's the opposite of living your true life. Even asexuality, man is a sexual
00:20:23.160 being. Sex is very important to human nature. As we all know, that's why we're debating sex so much
00:20:29.000 in our politics. We need more of these characters. It made me think Disney is just over. Disney is just
00:20:37.440 completely over. I like Disney. I was never a crazy Disney kid. I never, I didn't watch the Disney
00:20:42.020 channel. I wasn't Gaga over the movies, but I liked them. In particular, I liked Pinocchio. I
00:20:47.440 liked The Lion King. I liked the movies. I watched them as a kid. I liked the older ones, Snow White.
00:20:54.800 And those movies really were great. And I don't just want to sound like an old fuddy-duddy man
00:20:59.520 saying everything's worse these days, but it is worse. If you're now taking really important aspects
00:21:04.940 of human nature, the love between a man and a woman at the center of the sort of, of the human world,
00:21:11.000 at the center of society, if you take that away, if you, if you deny sex and sexual reality,
00:21:16.840 if you deny the things that motivate people and instead you superimpose political correctness on
00:21:22.700 top of it, which is a denial of reality, ultimately it's a denial of reality, well then the movies are
00:21:28.000 not going to be as good. And we know that the movies aren't as good. I'm not saying Disney only makes
00:21:32.060 total crap these days, but the movies that Disney is making today are worse than the movies that
00:21:38.100 Disney made 30 years ago. And they're worse than the movies that Disney made 60 and 70 years ago.
00:21:43.200 So we've still got the old movies. If you have them on DVD or something, good for you. Download
00:21:48.240 them now, save them. Because Disney is over. You can't, you can't in good conscience expose your kids
00:21:55.880 to this crap. Not even because it's going to completely ruin their lives, although if they're
00:22:00.180 peddling transgenderism, it, it won't help. But just because they're, they're just not good movies,
00:22:04.920 they're not going to be edifying if the stories they're telling are contrary to human nature and
00:22:09.920 contrary to reality. And these are the lunatics who are running Disney now. These people who think
00:22:15.380 that the most important thing to do in children's programming is peddle far left sexual ideologies.
00:22:21.560 Before we close out Disney, we've got the executive producer, Latoya Raveneau, talking about how it's
00:22:27.220 so important in Disney. One thing that she has really taken up is queering, queering, that's a
00:22:32.160 verb, I guess, everything. Our leadership over there has been so welcoming to like my like not at all
00:22:40.420 secret gay agenda. And so like, I feel like I felt like it was, I mean, like maybe it was that way in
00:22:47.520 the past, but I guess like something must have happened in the last, like, like they were turning
00:22:52.080 it around. They're going hard. And then all that like momentum that I felt like that sense of,
00:22:59.060 I don't have to be afraid to like, let's have these two characters kiss. Let's in the background,
00:23:04.040 like I was just wherever I could just basically adding queerness to like, if you see anything
00:23:10.200 queer in the show, I'm proud of them. But like, I just was like, no one would stop me and no one was
00:23:15.200 trying to stop. Everywhere. It's everywhere. The, the Senate candidate, Republican Senate
00:23:21.680 candidate, Blake Masters, he tweeted out the other day in response to one of these crazy issues. He
00:23:25.100 said, not everything has to be gay. We're not saying, we're not saying nothing, but not, not
00:23:32.480 everything, not every single thing. Why is this even coming up? Because Florida passed a law saying
00:23:41.120 that kindergarten teachers, kindergarten through third grade teachers can't preach
00:23:45.840 transgenderism and sex in the classroom. This should have been common sense. You shouldn't
00:23:53.640 need a law for that. That should be so obvious. And in response, Disney, a children's entertainment
00:23:59.100 company said, no, that's too far. If we can't teach transgenderism to kids, if we can't queer
00:24:04.660 everything, if we can't groom little kids, let's call it what it is, then we're going to fight back.
00:24:09.620 We're going to fight back in Florida around the country. It is unconscionable to give your money
00:24:14.620 to Disney. At this point, we need to figure out an alternative. Kind of like sports. Sports used to
00:24:22.040 be fun. They used to be an escape from the stress of everyday life. Now they're a stage for virtue
00:24:26.480 signaling and political actors. Well, NBA star Jonathan Isaac is not having any of it. He faced heavy
00:24:31.780 criticism because he's a normal, intelligent guy who had problems with some of the crazy vaccine push
00:24:39.180 and disrespecting the American flag. And he's just a normal patriot, which is why I'm very excited to
00:24:45.020 announce he's writing a book with us called Why I Stand. The book will be about the rise of his
00:24:49.260 basketball career, his journey into faith, Christianity, his strength to stand alone in
00:24:54.420 the face of immense pressure. The book is available for pre-order right now at Amazon. Reserve your copy
00:24:59.420 today. We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:25:43.600 Sex is not being discussed in kindergartens and it's a good thing that it is. That's the line from
00:25:48.780 the left. That's the line from the left in response to the parental rights and education bill
00:25:52.220 in Florida and similar legislation that's being proposed elsewhere in the country.
00:25:57.400 The same thing that they said about critical race theory. It's not happening. It's not being taught
00:26:01.500 and it's very important and good that it's being taught. So they're speaking out of both sides of
00:26:04.780 their mouth. A kindergarten teacher, a male kindergarten teacher just went on MSNBC to lament the fact that he
00:26:14.300 is no longer able to discuss his love life with his five-year-old students.
00:26:19.040 It really hits hard in my heart professionally and personally both. Professionally, it truly makes
00:26:28.100 me feel like I am not trusted as a professional. I know my kindergarten standards through and through
00:26:36.120 and nowhere in our curriculum does it have anything about teaching sexual orientation or sexual
00:26:43.600 identity. So for them to say that that's happening, you know, it's kind of crazy. But we should be able
00:26:52.660 to have discussions and that's what we're encouraged to do in kindergarten. And then personally, because
00:26:56.640 you know, my kids do have questions. They want to know who my partner is in pictures outside of my
00:27:02.280 classroom and I should be able to speak to that. That's what we do as educators. We build relationships
00:27:06.660 with our kids. And in order to build relationships, you talk about your home life. You talk about what
00:27:11.200 you do on the weekends. That's building community. I, it scares me to death that I am not going to be
00:27:17.920 able to have these conversations with my children because they're going to ask me what I did on the
00:27:22.080 weekend. I don't want to have to hide that my partner and I went paddle boarding this weekend.
00:27:25.700 I don't know about you. I do not want this creep to have a relationship with his children, which are
00:27:34.860 really my children, which is really our children with his children. He says, look, he follows the
00:27:40.620 exact liberal script. He says, this isn't happening. We are not teaching anything about sexuality in the
00:27:46.360 classroom. And also it's terrible because I have to be able to teach sexuality in the classroom.
00:27:51.040 We're not teaching it. It's not in the curriculum, but we are discussing it.
00:27:55.300 The hell do you think teaching is? Teaching is when a teacher discusses something with students.
00:27:59.740 That's what, that's teaching. And it's very important that when my students ask me about my
00:28:06.280 partner in the photos outside of my classroom, why are there photos of your boyfriend outside of the
00:28:11.760 classroom? Why? That should not be happening. Well, they're, they're asking questions, right? You're,
00:28:18.020 you're luring them to ask those questions when you post photos of your love life in the kindergarten
00:28:23.560 classroom. And now, now I won't even be able to talk about going paddle boarding with my boyfriend
00:28:29.360 this weekend. Yeah, you're damn right. You're not able to talk about that. What the hell is wrong with
00:28:33.500 you? I usually don't get that hot under the collar. I'm a pretty chill guy. This is the creepiest thing
00:28:39.080 I've heard in months. A kindergarten teacher begging, pleading on national television,
00:28:45.960 even MSNBC, which nobody watches, but still national television, technically, pleading to be able to talk
00:28:51.940 about his date nights with his boyfriends to five-year-olds whom he refers to as his children.
00:28:58.920 If this man is this confused about the appropriate role and behavior of a kindergarten teacher,
00:29:06.040 if this man is so unwilling to follow the law with regard to education in Florida,
00:29:12.540 the man should be barred from the classroom, period. I'm glad he goes on TV. I'm glad that he is exposing
00:29:20.760 the kind of creepy radicalism that we are seeing in the classroom. This is happening all over the place.
00:29:30.300 It's not. I think we can now officially throw out the first line, the first part of the story
00:29:38.320 that we hear from the left. It's not happening. Critical race theory, it's not being taught.
00:29:44.120 It's not being taught. It's only being taught in a few classrooms at Harvard Law School.
00:29:47.680 And also, it's really important that we teach it in kindergarten. We can throw out that first part now.
00:29:52.680 So it's not just going on in Florida. Yesterday, I talked about the Austin Independent School District
00:29:58.120 in which a teacher was complaining because the gay pride parade for the fourth grade students
00:30:05.340 was not loud enough. It was not explicit enough. Well, we've got some video. Thanks again to,
00:30:13.980 I believe it was our friends at Libs at TikTok. It might have been Ian Miles Chong. I'm not sure.
00:30:18.460 I want to give appropriate credit. The pride parade that was going on at this Austin school
00:30:25.240 was, it was more than just waving some rainbow flags. You've got the flags. You've got this one
00:30:34.720 woman, I think it's a woman, wearing a very, very short miniskirt. Actually, it's, no, it's less than a
00:30:41.580 miniskirt. Multiple women wearing less than a miniskirt, lots of leather, dancing around
00:30:48.360 with little kids. With, what are they, eight or nine years old? Some look even younger than that.
00:30:56.640 With these people, like leather daddies, dressed up in skimpy little thongs with miniskirts covering
00:31:03.360 it. Stiletto heels. These people, this is, if you, if you played this clip, if you're not watching
00:31:12.740 this, if you're listening to this right now, I encourage you to go back later on once you,
00:31:16.260 once you pull over, once you get back tonight. I encourage you to, to look at this clip, to actually
00:31:21.480 watch what's going on because my description actually is not doing justice to how radical
00:31:27.360 and creepy this is. And obviously the flags, the, the trans, there's a trans flag now that's pink and
00:31:33.780 blue. And then there's a pride progress flag. It's like the gay flag, but with a bunch of
00:31:39.440 racial stuff in it as well. These people not only should not be in an elementary school,
00:31:47.860 these people should be in a prison. You should not be able to put on obscene,
00:31:53.140 sexually explicit dances for and with nine-year-olds without any consequences.
00:32:00.240 By the way, all of this used to be illegal all over the country. Actually, one of the
00:32:06.200 toughest cities for transgenderism, cross-dressing, that sort of thing was, forget about the kids for
00:32:13.200 a second, was actually San Francisco, which is now sort of the epicenter of this sexual radicalism.
00:32:18.920 Does anybody believe, does anybody believe that this is normal or acceptable?
00:32:25.220 Anyone who is not a complete radical leftist, I don't care if you're straight, I don't care if
00:32:29.380 you're gay, I don't care even if you're confused about which sex you are. If you are in any way,
00:32:34.760 if you have any tether to reality, you cannot watch that video. You cannot listen to these radicals and
00:32:41.240 say that's normal. No, of course not. This is why the vast majority of Americans support the Florida
00:32:45.740 bill. This is why over 60% of Americans support the Florida bill, despite all of the absolute
00:32:53.160 misinformation coming out from every left-wing media outlet about it. You want to talk about
00:32:57.780 that misinformation. You know what I love about our partnership with Helix Sleep? They understand

00:33:26.960 Ron Perlman is the actor who played Hellboy and has been in some other things. Ron Perlman has been
00:33:32.720 going on some unhinged Twitter rants in recent days. Ron Perlman just gave a rant toward Florida
00:33:42.060 Governor Ron DeSantis reacting to the don't say gay bill.
00:33:48.020 Good morning, Governor DeSantis. Ron here. Don't say gay. Don't say, as the first two words
00:34:03.180 in a sentence spoken by a political leader of a state in the United States of America, don't say.
00:34:11.540 don't say you Nazi pig. Say. First Amendment. Read about it. Then run for office. You piece of
00:34:28.180 shit. Yeah, read about it. Read about it. You got to read. You're not doing your reading. That's why
00:34:35.020 you passed a bill that I was told by the media is called the don't say gay bill.
00:34:41.540 Even though I didn't read it, and I don't realize it doesn't say don't say anything at all.
00:34:48.180 He is, this guy, no one has ever accused Ron Perlman of being the brightest bald in the pack.
00:34:52.800 But this guy is yelling at Ron DeSantis for something that he's never said. He's yelling about
00:35:02.420 a bill because of something the bill does not say. Then he gets really hot under the collar about it.
00:35:09.220 But I don't think that Ron Perlman is an outlier. Yes, he's a Hollywood guy. Yes, he's a little
00:35:18.480 eccentric. I think that's what most liberals who oppose the don't say gay bill, I think that's what
00:35:26.400 they're reacting about. I think they're reacting in basically exactly the same way as Ron Perlman.
00:35:31.340 They are tilting at windmills. They're fighting against something. They're knocking down straw men.
00:35:36.320 They're fighting against something that is not real. Perlman just came out. He sent out another
00:35:41.900 angry Twitter video at Senator Tom Cotton for his questioning of the Supreme Court judge,
00:35:50.140 the nominee, Ketanji Jackson.
00:35:53.120 Tom Cotton. That can't really be your name, can it? What is that? Product your unpaid employees
00:36:03.360 pick for you? For profit? You f***ing white slaver. Piece of s***. That line of questioning you pulled
00:36:12.820 on that incredibly beautiful woman yesterday. Your staff is probably cowering as you read those
00:36:21.460 statistics that they under duress put together for you, unless they're a bunch of white f***ing
00:36:28.000 slavers too, which is probably the case. Who else would work for you, you piece of s***?
00:36:33.780 F***. Play back your line of questioning and tell me that wasn't the most racist thing I've seen
00:36:40.800 since Jefferson f***ed Davis. F*** you. Someone clearly received his Biden crack pipe delivery before
00:36:50.860 the rest of us did. I keep waiting. I keep checking my mailbox. Where is my Biden crack pipe?
00:36:55.260 And there, Ron Perlman got his and probably a few other people's before. That's the only way that
00:37:00.920 I can explain this, except for this. What's his argument? His argument here is Republicans
00:37:05.740 who criticize Ketanji Jackson, the most radical Supreme Court nominee ever in the history of the
00:37:11.040 country, they are racist. That's all he's saying. And he's got colorful language and he's saying it in
00:37:17.220 kind of a stupid way. But that's the point. That's the thesis. Republicans, if they oppose this nominee,
00:37:22.720 are racist. That's what every liberal believes, pretty much. Maybe that's a little unfair.
00:37:28.080 That's what every prominent liberal says. That's what the leading Democrats say. That's what the
00:37:35.760 leading television commentators say. That's what the leading blue checkmark liberals are saying.
00:37:39.580 That's what they're almost all saying. Republicans are opposing this woman because she's black,
00:37:44.380 because they're racist, even beyond this woman. Republicans are racist. That's why they do what
00:37:48.880 they do is because they hate black people. That Republicans who support the Florida education
00:37:56.660 bill, they hate free speech. They're opposing the first. He sounds like a dummy because we can hear
00:38:02.880 him and we can see him. But he's not saying anything different than any of the prominent liberals on
00:38:08.960 either of those issues. How terrifying is that? We're living in a nation half full of Ron Perlman's.
00:38:14.620 These are the main Democrat arguments and they're BS. They're BS. I mean, this is the sort of thing
00:38:21.480 that you're hearing, not just from kooks on Twitter. You're hearing it from the president
00:38:25.640 of the United States on a totally separate issue, but with the same degree of dishonesty.
00:38:29.740 Joe Biden is now shifting his attention away from COVID. That's a loser for him. Away from
00:38:34.960 foreign policy. That's a loser for him. Now he's finally got to address the economy.
00:38:39.040 And he's making an argument that has been debunked time and time again, namely that billionaires are
00:38:46.400 paying a lower tax rate than their secretaries. Under my plan, as I said, no one making less than
00:38:51.440 $400,000 a year will pay additional single penny in taxes. No one. If you don't make 400 grand,
00:38:59.300 you're not going to pay a single penny in additional federal taxes. And the wealthy incorporation will
00:39:04.500 finally begin to pay their fair share. For most Americans, the last few years were very hard,
00:39:11.360 stretching them to the breaking point. But billionaires and large corporations got richer
00:39:16.200 than ever. Right now, billionaires pay an average rate of 8% on their total income. 8%. That's the
00:39:23.140 average they pay. Now, I'm a capitalist, but just, if you make a billion bucks, great. Just pay your fair
00:39:31.620 share. Pay a little bit. A firefighter and a teacher pay more than double, double the tax rate
00:39:39.200 that a billionaire pays. That's not right. That's not fair. I love the whisper thing. I love when you
00:39:48.420 get the full gamut of Biden's emotions that he doesn't seem able to control. So you get the
00:39:52.220 shouty Joe Biden. Come on, come on. You get, you get, you get the secret vaguely sexual whispering
00:40:00.200 Joe Biden. It's not fair. It's not fair, he says, that billionaires are paying a lower tax rate than
00:40:05.440 teachers and firefighters and then their secretaries. Except it's just not true. It's not true. Even
00:40:09.240 PolitiFact, which is a left-wing fact-checking outlet, they refuse to give a formal declaration,
00:40:14.840 true or false on this, because that would disadvantage Democrats in the algorithm on which news stories are
00:40:19.880 allowed to pop up on social media. But they, they said on this claim that, that billionaires pay a
00:40:25.740 lower tax rate than their secretaries. They said, is it true generally? No. Generally speaking, it's
00:40:31.780 not true. Of course not. Yes, the billionaires are paying the, the capital gains tax rate for a lot of
00:40:38.520 the money that they're getting. But first of all, that money has already been taxed at the corporate
00:40:41.900 level. So let's not forget about that. And second of all, it's just not, when you look at the actual
00:40:47.520 numbers, you break it down. In principle, it's not true. And then in practice, it's not true either.
00:40:54.880 Joe Biden failing on the economy, failing on foreign policy, failing on crime, failing on
00:41:01.600 immigration, failing on public health, failing on civil liberties, failing on, he's below, I'm speaking
00:41:07.640 in objective terms. He's doing the wrong thing on all of those issues, but also in subjective terms,
00:41:13.580 the voters don't like what he's doing. He's below in the polls on all of those issues.
00:41:16.980 So what does he do now? Well, he just signed into law a bill that will finally outlaw lynching,
00:41:24.100 which doesn't happen. It doesn't occur ever and is already illegal. It's already very,
00:41:31.300 very illegal, but he's going to make it double on illegal. It's going to be double, triple illegal.
00:41:36.420 Biden just signed the Emmett Till anti-lynching law. The last lynching in America took place
00:41:43.160 40 years ago, but that was sort of a one-off. The last spate of lynchings hasn't really happened for,
00:41:52.800 what, 70 years now? There's something, you know, lynching was a problem from the late 19th century
00:42:00.920 century up until the early to mid 20th century. Even then, though, it's not like we're talking
00:42:05.700 about tens of thousands of people being killed. I mean, it was still thousands of people, but
00:42:09.580 it was a much smaller problem than, I think the left would have you believe that this was hundreds
00:42:15.680 of thousands of people were being killed. And it's not true. It was a problem. It was a big issue.
00:42:20.620 Extrajudicial killings are always a problem, but it was dealt with. It was dealt with 70 years ago,
00:42:24.660 and it's already against the law. By definition, it's against the law. It's extrajudicial.
00:42:28.800 And then they beefed up legal protections, and then it went away. And now Joe Biden is trying to
00:42:32.660 solve a problem that was solved 70 years ago because he can't solve any of the problems that
00:42:36.000 are going on today. And I say this as an Italian-American. You know, the Italian-Americans
00:42:41.580 were the victims of the largest mass lynching in American history. All right, so I said, this is a,
00:42:48.040 I'm speaking with all of the credibility and authority and ethos of identity politics that the left
00:42:54.260 forces on us. I'm telling you, as a, as a son of Rome, it's not a problem. It's not a problem.
00:43:00.900 And Joe Biden's only signing this thing so that he can get a victory for a problem that doesn't exist
00:43:07.260 because there are a lot of problems that do exist and he's making all of those worse.
00:43:12.420 How did this guy become president? How? We're told he got the most votes ever for anyone ever in the
00:43:20.940 history of voting. He's so, he's the most popular president ever, and yet he's below water on every
00:43:27.000 issue. His approval rating's in the tank. The only thing he's got going for him is that while his
00:43:31.560 approval rating's in the 30s, his administration is somehow even less popular. His vice president is
00:43:36.480 much less popular, Kamala Harris. So how did it happen? Some people suggest there were shenanigans
00:43:43.240 in the 2020 election. I've suggested that. In fact, we know that that's true. We know that in
00:43:50.180 the 2020 election, there was outright illegality. We know that the way the election was conducted in
00:43:56.980 Pennsylvania was not constitutional according to the state constitution. State constitution
00:44:01.260 expressly prohibits widespread mail-in ballots. The state pushed it anyway. And so that, that's just
00:44:07.660 one example. We know that there were irregularities, let's call them, in a lot of states. Well, now,
00:44:13.400 right here on RealClearPolitics, there's new peer-reviewed research that finds evidence of
00:44:18.760 2020 voter fraud. The claim that's generally, there are three claims. One is no, no shenanigans at all.
00:44:25.080 Yes, Democrats changed all the election rules in the weeks and months before the election.
00:44:28.520 Yes, it took a long time to count the ballots. Yes, there were some anomalies, but no, it's the totally
00:44:32.600 safest, best election ever. No one has any doubts about it. If you, if you doubt the results,
00:44:37.540 then you're a crazy, kooky conspiracy theorist. Then there's the second group, which says,
00:44:42.040 yes, obviously the election was rigged. They changed the rules. There were a lot of problems,
00:44:46.960 but it wasn't enough to change the results of the election. So Biden would have still won,
00:44:51.220 but yeah, there were some shenanigans. Then there's the third group, which says,
00:44:54.760 we're not so sure if Biden actually got the most votes in the right places to become president.
00:44:59.920 He is the president now. He's been sworn in. He is effectively the president, but
00:45:03.640 maybe that election wasn't totally kosher. Well, this, this new peer reviewed research from John
00:45:09.820 R. Lott, who is the president of the Crime Prevention Research Center. And until January of
00:45:14.800 2021 was the senior advisor for research and statistics at the department of justice's office
00:45:20.580 of legal policy, where he dealt specifically with issues of voter fraud. He seems to think
00:45:25.940 the election was a lot more rife with abuse than people are letting on. He points out by a margin
00:45:33.720 of 52 to 40% voters believe that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 election. Not just that there
00:45:40.920 was cheating, but that it affected the outcome. That's according to Rasmussen reports. Even 34% of
00:45:48.100 Democrats believe cheating occurred. 38% of people who, quote, somewhat support Joe Biden believe
00:45:54.140 cheating occurred. Men, women, all age groups, whites, those who are neither white nor black,
00:45:59.280 Republicans, those who are neither Republicans nor Democrats, all job categories, all income groups,
00:46:03.760 except people making over 200 grand per year. And all education groups, except for those who attended
00:46:08.920 grad school, believe the same thing. Well, there's now this, this peer reviewed research. It's coming
00:46:15.920 out in the economics journal, public choice, which finds around 255,000 excess votes, possibly as many as
00:46:22.360 368,000 excess votes for Joe Biden in six swing states where Trump made allegations of fraud.
00:46:32.100 Biden only carried those states by 313,253 votes. So anywhere from 255,000 excess votes, okay,
00:46:41.360 Biden still wins, up to potentially 368,000 excess votes. Well, maybe Biden doesn't win in that case.
00:46:47.760 And that excludes Michigan where the, where the gap was 159,065 votes. As Mr. Lott points out,
00:46:55.640 the point of this is not to contest the 2020 election. I think it's probably silly to contest
00:47:00.160 the 2020 election. It's, it's over. Joe Biden is the president. Maybe he won fair and square. Maybe he
00:47:05.980 totally cheated. Maybe it was a stolen election. He is the president though. There's no, there have been
00:47:10.020 stolen elections in American history. That's how, that's how Lyndon Johnson became a senator and then
00:47:14.640 became the president through a stolen election. So that happened. But the reason that it's important,
00:47:19.240 I know a lot of Republicans just want to move on this. They don't raise any questions about the
00:47:22.120 irregularities in 2020. Don't even raise the prospect of cheating. Well, it's very important,
00:47:26.980 not because of 2020, that's over. We're in it. We're in it. We're under the Biden administration.
00:47:31.680 It's because of 2024. It's because if we do not have confidence in our elections,
00:47:37.220 then the Republic's going to crumble. Democrats don't have confidence in it.
00:47:40.320 Republicans don't have confidence in it. There's evidence of a lot of rigging
00:47:43.280 going on. And so we have to keep talking about that because of this basic political issue.
00:47:48.820 It's why we keep talking about transgenderism actually in a certain way. Because if we can't
00:47:54.520 agree on the definition of man and woman, it doesn't matter what our tax debates are going to
00:47:59.420 be. It doesn't matter even what our debates over crime or immigration are going to be.
00:48:03.200 We can't speak to each other. If we can't speak to each other, we can't have self-government.
00:48:06.280 If we don't have faith in our most basic systems of politics and government, then all those second
00:48:13.680 order political debates are not going to matter. The country is in a very tough spot. We need to
00:48:19.940 get back to basics. Can we trust our votes? Can we trust our system of election? And perhaps more
00:48:26.600 importantly than anything, do we even know what a man and a woman is anymore? I'm Michael Knowles.

00:49:22.860 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, Disney executives are now openly admitting to their gay agenda,
00:49:26.960 their words, not mine. Another executive in a recent staff meeting bragged about her pansexual
00:49:31.620 child. We'll talk about Disney's freefall plummet into far-left wokeism. Also, a kindergarten teacher
00:49:36.980 worries that the Florida bill just signed into law will prevent him from talking to his students
00:49:41.080 about his love life. But why does he need to talk to them about that? That's the question. And Biden
00:49:45.620 signs the Anti-Lynching Act, thanks to Republicans who provided him this opportunity to virtue signal.
00:49:51.060 Jim Carrey is speaking out against Will Smith's violent outburst at the Oscars. Why is he almost the only guy
00:49:55.560 in Hollywood saying anything about it? Plus, a Republican congressman claims that he's been
00:49:58.960 invited to drug-fueled orgies by other members of Congress. And our Daily Cancellation, Jon Stewart
00:50:04.080 has white guilt and he wants to tell us all about it. We'll listen and then cancel him. All of that
00:50:09.520 and more today on The Matt Wall Show.
