Summary

Everything the Biden administration touches turns to ash. This is true across the board: foreign policy, immigration, jobs, education, the list goes on and on. But nowhere is it more apparent than inflation. Inflation for the past months has already been at 40-year highs. And according to the White House, the situation is only getting worse.

00:00:30.000 Everything the Biden administration touches turns to ash.
00:00:34.440 This is true across the board.
00:00:36.900 Foreign policy, immigration, jobs, education, the list goes on and on.
00:00:43.100 But nowhere is it more apparent than inflation.
00:00:47.580 Inflation for the past months has already been at 40-year highs.
00:00:53.540 Everything is more expensive, much more expensive since Joe Biden took office.
00:00:58.940 And according to the White House, the situation is only getting worse.
00:01:04.140 So because of the actions we've taken to address the Putin price hike,
00:01:08.580 we are in a better place than we were last month.
00:01:11.660 But we expect March CPI headline inflation to be extraordinarily elevated due to Putin's price hike.
00:01:19.700 And we expect a large difference between core and headline inflation reflecting the global
00:01:24.240 disruptions in energy and food markets.
00:01:26.420 So core inflation doesn't include energy and food prices.
00:01:30.920 Headline inflation does.
00:01:32.580 And, of course, we know that core inflation, you know, energy, the impact of energy, of course, on oil prices, gas prices.
00:01:38.900 We expect that to continue to reflect what we've seen the increases be over the course of this invasion.
00:01:46.400 And just as an example, since President Putin's military buildup accelerated in January, average gas prices are up more than 80 cents.
00:01:53.180 Most of the increase occurred in the month of March.
00:01:55.840 And at times, gas prices were more than a dollar above pre-invasion level.
00:01:59.900 So that roughly 25 percent increase in gas prices will drive tomorrow's inflation reading.
00:02:05.260 And certainly it's not a surprise to us, but we certainly think it will be reflected.
00:02:10.860 You know it's bad when the White House is trying to manage expectations like this.
00:02:16.400 You know it's bad when the White House is saying, well, yes, we expect the number to be not just elevated, but extraordinarily elevated.
00:02:25.820 But, hey, that's only because gas and food is super expensive.
00:02:29.040 Oh, good.
00:02:30.320 Okay, good.
00:02:30.880 That makes me feel better.
00:02:31.820 Only because the basics that I need to live are extremely expensive now.
00:02:36.800 And we're getting much, much more expensive long before Putin ever invaded Ukraine, by the way.
00:02:42.860 That's okay.
00:02:43.520 That's the only reason why my money is worth much less today than it was a year ago.
00:02:49.420 This was always going to happen.
00:02:51.560 Biden is going to do everything he can to blame it on big, bad Putin or the big, bad oil companies or the big, bad supermarkets or anybody but himself.
00:02:58.160 But this was always going to happen.
00:03:00.220 And in some ways, it's extraordinarily simple.
00:03:03.180 This was going to happen because this is the logical, inevitable consequence of the politics of fantasy.
00:03:09.860 This was the inevitable consequence of just printing endless money.
00:03:15.360 You need more money.
00:03:16.760 People are feeling the pinch.
00:03:17.700 Well, just give them money.
00:03:18.460 This was the inevitable consequence of locking down the country for two years and having everyone sit at home and just hoping that everything remains the same.
00:03:26.380 This was the inevitable consequence of upending every social institution, of all of the radicalism, up to and including saying that men can become women.
00:03:34.720 In the fantasy world, we're all going to live on Big Rock Candy Mountain and everything's going to be great.
00:03:40.640 In reality, everything gets worse when you live in fantasy.
00:03:45.520 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:03:46.440 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:03:55.120 Welcome back to the show.
00:03:56.400 My favorite comment yesterday is from How Dare You, who says,
00:04:01.660 Joe Biden's language translator must be thinking, this is above my pay grade.
00:04:07.340 That's absolutely true.
00:04:08.500 But do you know what's not above your pay grade?

00:04:38.180 Are you a pro yet?

00:05:30.700 Go get the award-winning Ring Alarm and go pro.
00:05:33.980 Don't mess around anymore.
00:05:35.440 Do the responsible thing for your family.
00:05:37.140 Go to ring.com slash Knowles.
00:05:38.420 That is ring.com slash Knowles.
00:05:40.440 In some ways, when you're trying to think about inflation and foreign policy and the war in Ukraine and immigration, it's so complicated.
00:05:51.500 But in other ways, it's really simple.
00:05:53.460 When you live in fantasy, things go wrong.
00:05:56.680 Whether you're talking about the border, whether you're talking about foreign policy.
00:05:59.680 Yes, we're just going to, we're going to take all the sanctions off Putin, but we're going to give him a stern warning and say, hey, don't invade Ukraine.
00:06:06.440 We're going to take out all the incentives not to invade Ukraine, but we're going to say, hey, invade you, don't invade Ukraine.
00:06:12.420 We're going to take off all the disincentives to crossing the border illegally.
00:06:16.820 We're going, this is what happens.
00:06:18.780 You get chaos.
00:06:21.280 You get madness.
00:06:23.740 Do you think, this is, I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I want to ask this of liberals.
00:06:30.100 Do you think we like being the bad guy and saying, no, no, you have to work.
00:06:35.800 No, you can't just sit at home for two years and expect the economy to remain the same.
00:06:39.560 No, we can't just print money so that you have more money in your wallet because it's actually not going to increase your wealth.
00:06:45.000 No, not everyone can come to America.
00:06:47.120 We're only going to take 3 million a year, not 4 million people a year.
00:06:50.740 No, you can't change your, your sex.
00:06:53.160 No, you can't upend every, do you, do you think we want to do that?
00:06:56.300 No, we want to be the nice guys and we want to be able to say, hey, do whatever you want.
00:07:00.400 And no, sit at home, sit on the couch if you want.
00:07:02.560 And hey, we're just going to print you money.
00:07:04.000 But it doesn't work that way because we live in reality and there are constraints.
00:07:09.200 And when you, when you don't accept the fundamental facts of reality, men are not women.
00:07:16.840 People have to work to make a living.
00:07:19.140 Bad guys are going to want to expand their influence.
00:07:22.140 And we've got to smack them on the hand and tell them no.
00:07:25.180 When you don't accept the basic facts of reality, things go awry.
00:07:29.700 That's the world that we're living in.
00:07:31.160 And so the Biden administration refuses to accept reality and puts his head in the sand on domestic policy, on foreign policy and everything in between.
00:07:39.780 And things have gone wrong.
00:07:40.780 So now the best thing that they can do is distract from everything and focus on the one political win that they've had during the entire administration.
00:07:51.120 And that is the confirmation of Ketanji Jackson to the Supreme Court, which Jen Psaki is going on all the news shows to trot out to say was the most historic, wonderful, life-changing, joyous event in history.
00:08:02.120 And everyone was crying tears of joy because they got this judge on the court.
00:08:06.280 It was, as you know, Dana, from working on these in the past, it was a very emotional day in the White House, a joyful day.
00:08:14.980 And there's so many days in the White House, no matter who you work for, that are exhausting and heartbreaking and challenging because there aren't easy answers to hard problems sometimes.
00:08:25.240 But this was an incredibly joyful day, a day we celebrated, a day many of us were ugly crying on the White House South Lawn, just celebrating this remarkable woman who is making history, but she is also so qualified to serve on the Supreme Court.
00:08:41.680 You were ugly crying on the South Lawn because some federal judge got a promotion.
00:08:48.280 You were ugly crying, meaning not only had you lost control of yourself, and frankly, I wanted to cry when Ketanji Jackson got nominated, but I didn't because I'm an adult with some sense of responsibility and decorum.
00:09:02.300 Not only were you crying, you were ugly crying, you were shaking, you were streaming tears everywhere because some judge got a promotion.
00:09:12.860 You, it's not as though the Republicans have the majority in the Senate.
00:09:18.560 It's not as though this was particularly hard.
00:09:22.220 It was easy.
00:09:23.220 Biden just picked a lady, and then there were short confirmation hearings.
00:09:26.960 The Republicans didn't put up a fight at all.
00:09:29.000 The only people to put up any fight on it were Cruz, Hawley, and Tom Cotton.
00:09:34.340 No, the entire rest of the GOP and the conservative movement just rolled over, and then she gets her promotion.
00:09:40.200 And then you were, why?
00:09:42.280 Why?
00:09:42.740 There's nothing remarkable about that.
00:09:45.660 And they're pretending that this is some historic win for the oppressed people.
00:09:51.220 She's not the first black person on the court.
00:09:52.780 She's the third.
00:09:53.740 And she's not the first woman on the court.
00:09:56.960 The current black person on the court, before Ketanji Jackson is elevated, is Clarence Thomas, who the libs hate.
00:10:05.900 And there are multiple women on the court.
00:10:08.240 The first woman on the court was appointed by Ronald Reagan.
00:10:10.200 So none of that is historic.
00:10:13.360 I don't think that it's worth ugly crying over, even if it were.
00:10:19.180 But I suppose it just underlies the problem.
00:10:22.540 These are not serious people who are not in control of themselves, who are emotionally stunted children running our show.
00:10:30.140 That is who we've got.
00:10:31.860 And so Biden is doing his best to make a big deal out of the easy confirmation process of Ketanji Jackson, because it's the only thing he can claim a win on.
00:10:40.400 And now to try to rile up his base, he's going for some tried and true red meat.
00:10:45.780 He's pushing gun control.
00:10:47.200 From the very beginning, the Second Amendment didn't say you can own any gun you want, as big as you want.
00:10:51.900 You couldn't buy a cannon when, in fact, the Second Amendment passed.
00:10:56.160 And certain people from the very beginning weren't allowed to purchase guns.
00:11:00.120 It's nothing new.
00:11:00.920 It's just rational.
00:11:01.800 So Biden wants to take your guns.
00:11:04.640 He wants to push gun control.
00:11:05.780 He thinks this might help him with his base in the midterms.
00:11:08.100 But just on the statement that he made, it's not true.
00:11:12.600 You could buy a cannon.
00:11:13.800 At the start of our country, you could buy a cannon.
00:11:16.860 Lots of people bought cannons.
00:11:18.320 And there was no rule against that.
00:11:20.780 So as per usual, the premises that Joe Biden and the Democrats are pushing are not true.
00:11:27.880 And if you start with bad premises, you're going to end up with a bad conclusion,
00:11:32.180 which is Joe Biden wants to take all of our guns.
00:11:34.000 Forget about cannons.
00:11:34.760 He wants to take our most basic rifles away from us.
00:11:38.500 Garbage in, garbage out in the physical world and in logic and in politics.
00:11:45.100 Why is he doing this?
00:11:46.620 What this gun control push says to me is Biden has not tried to win the midterms.
00:11:54.880 He's not trying to win over people in the middle and centrists.
00:11:57.300 Joe Biden is trying to stop the bleeding by riling up his Democrat base.
00:12:02.400 With inflation going crazy, now more than ever is a great time to look into Alto IRA.
00:12:08.660 Right now, go to altoira.com slash Michael.
00:12:14.320 You know we predict the future on this show.

00:12:21.220 do it in a tax-advantaged way with Alto Crypto IRA.
00:12:27.700 Well, I hope you took my advice on it then because inflation is going through the roof.
00:12:32.120 The value of our dollar is plummeting.
00:12:34.160 If you haven't done it, it's not too late.
00:12:36.480 Even if you're dabbling in crypto, don't just pay needless money to the government and taxes.
00:12:42.020 Go do this in a tax-advantaged way.
00:12:43.880 The best way to do that is Alto's Crypto IRA will save you the tax headache.

00:12:58.440 We're talking Bitcoin.
00:12:59.500 We're talking Ethereum.
00:13:00.480 We're talking Cardano.
00:13:02.420 Do you want some sushi swap with your Bitcoin?
00:13:04.980 Well, you can do that.
00:13:05.960 No problem.
00:13:06.620 Alto IRA has you covered.
00:13:07.960 Open an Alto Crypto IRA account with as little as $10.
00:13:11.380 Go to altoira.com slash Michael, A-L-T-O-I-R-A dot com slash M-I-C-H-A-E-L.
00:13:17.720 Start investing in cryptocurrency today.
00:13:19.600 Altoira.com slash Michael.
00:13:22.500 Biden's gun control push is the clearest evidence that I have to date that he's given up on winning
00:13:32.660 over moderates and winning over center-right people, the squishes who are at least somewhat
00:13:38.280 open to Joe Biden and the independents.
00:13:40.660 He's given up on that.
00:13:42.220 Joe Biden is just trying to stop the bleeding by picking up a big bucket of nice, bloody red
00:13:48.080 meat and throwing it out to his base and making a bunch of stupid statements like you couldn't
00:13:53.160 buy a cannon at the time of the American Revolution.
00:13:56.040 And what do you need a gun for?
00:13:57.980 Why do you need to have a magazine with 10 or 20 rounds?
00:14:00.720 You don't need that to hunt deer.
00:14:03.220 Why would you ever want that?
00:14:04.560 Come on, man.
00:14:05.280 And just a bunch of idiocy because it's the best shot that he's got.
00:14:09.520 And I don't think that's going to do it.
00:14:13.220 I don't think even his base is depressed.
00:14:16.960 He's underwater on every single issue other than the confirmation of this judge, which is
00:14:22.480 a win for him this week and maybe next week.
00:14:24.340 But it's not going to last through November.
00:14:26.900 It's not going to get these guys through the midterms.
00:14:28.660 And if inflation continues to go through the roof, the number, they've just released the
00:14:33.380 number.
00:14:33.660 Jen Psaki yesterday set the stage and said, we're warning, it's an extraordinary elevated
00:14:38.060 number.
00:14:38.520 It's 8.5%.
00:14:39.800 Prices are up 8.5%.
00:14:43.000 That is insane.
00:14:45.320 It's a new 40-year high.
00:14:46.460 We're going to have another 40-year high next week.
00:14:49.220 The inflation rate has exceeded economists' predictions.
00:14:52.360 It's exceeded even what the Democrats were setting the stage for at the White House.
00:14:55.900 And it's going to drive these people from office if we have fair elections.
00:15:01.860 So right on cue, when we're wondering if the elections are going to be fairer this time
00:15:08.040 and we're going to follow the rules and we're not going to upend all the election rules like
00:15:11.000 we did before 2020, enters Dr. Fauci to say, actually, folks, COVID's not gone yet.
00:15:18.440 Ha ha, I'm back.
00:15:19.260 Well, obviously, there is concern that we are seeing an uptick in cases, as I've mentioned
00:15:24.700 over the last couple of weeks, John, that this is not unexpected that you're going to
00:15:29.840 see an uptick when you pull back on the mitigation methods.
00:15:33.580 If you look at the CDC calculation with their new metrics, it's clear that most of the country,
00:15:39.300 even though we're seeing an uptick, is still in that green zone, which means that masking
00:15:44.240 is not recommended in the sense of not required on indoor settings.
00:15:50.260 But as people pull back, when you have a highly transmissible virus like the BA2 and you have
00:15:56.840 pulling back on mitigation methods, at the same time there's waning immunity, we're going
00:16:01.500 to see an uptick.
00:16:02.380 So the numbers you gave are not surprising.
00:16:05.240 But the idea that we're going to see an uptick, I think people need to appreciate that that's
00:16:09.640 the case and follow the CDC guidelines, because remember, when the metrics were put forth,
00:16:14.980 the new metrics looking at the guidance of masking, it was said that if we do start seeing
00:16:20.580 an uptick, particularly of hospitalizations, we may need to revert back to being more careful
00:16:27.180 and having more utilizations of masks in door.
00:16:31.080 Where is my hat?
00:16:32.700 Where is my Nolstradamus hat and my crystal ball?
00:16:35.740 I don't even need it to make my predictions.
00:16:37.640 You know, I hate to say I told you so.
00:16:39.360 I told you so.
00:16:40.820 I told you this was going to happen.
00:16:42.440 A month ago, everyone was saying, oh, Michael, COVID's over.
00:16:47.380 Don't worry.
00:16:48.020 You know, we have that three-part docu-series on Dr. Fauci.
00:16:51.200 It came out, what, about a month ago?
00:16:52.900 I think it is the most watched content we've ever put out for Daily Wire members.
00:16:56.840 You can go check that out today at dailywire.com, Fauci unmasked.
00:17:00.020 But one of the criticisms at the time is people said, oh, Michael, wow, I really like the
00:17:04.160 docu-series.
00:17:05.100 But Fauci, he's old news.
00:17:06.800 COVID, it's over.
00:17:08.180 It's going away.
00:17:08.900 I said, it's not going away.
00:17:11.060 It's not.
00:17:12.020 Joe Biden did not withdraw the national emergency authorization.
00:17:17.120 They have not withdrawn the mask mandate throughout the country.
00:17:21.120 Actually, what we've just found out today is some cities are bringing the mask mandate
00:17:26.320 back.
00:17:27.940 The mask mandate is still in place in New York, for instance, for little kids.
00:17:30.960 The mask mandate is still on the planes.
00:17:32.560 The airplanes refuse to get rid of it.
00:17:33.940 They're telling us maybe this month.
00:17:35.640 I'll believe it when I see it.
00:17:37.720 They're not getting rid of it.
00:17:39.980 One, because the Democrats want to keep power centralized in the bureaucracy.
00:17:43.760 They took a lot of power during COVID and they don't want to give it back.
00:17:46.660 That's not how power works.
00:17:48.080 It's not how politics works.
00:17:49.280 But two, COVID is their biggest excuse to cheat in the elections.
00:17:54.860 I hope our oligarchs at Big Tech don't take me down for saying that, but it's obviously
00:17:59.520 the case.
00:18:01.500 The election, whatever you think of the results of the 2020 election, was by far the most rigged
00:18:09.360 election we've had in my lifetime.
00:18:11.420 They changed all the rules beforehand and they used COVID as the excuse to do it.
00:18:16.080 And they pushed for these widespread mail-in ballots, which are rife for abuse, which even
00:18:19.720 Barack Obama, not all that many years ago, admitted were not a good way to conduct elections
00:18:23.920 because they were vulnerable to abuse.
00:18:25.460 In some cases, it was in violation of the state constitutions, like in Pennsylvania.
00:18:29.560 And they're going to try to do it again.
00:18:31.960 They're going to stuff the ballot box.
00:18:34.020 This is nothing new.
00:18:36.600 Democrats have been particularly guilty of this over the years, but Republicans have cheated
00:18:40.540 in elections too.
00:18:41.660 Ever since there have been elections, there has been cheating.
00:18:45.080 And so sometimes the conditions for cheating are stricter and sometimes they're more relaxed.
00:18:52.020 And so they're holding on to COVID.
00:18:54.380 I think that this whole COVID stuff might have a little bit more to do with politics than it
00:18:59.580 does with the science.
00:19:00.400 I know that's a shocking suggestion, but if you don't understand that now, two years in,
00:19:04.740 you're not going to make it.
00:19:05.760 You're not going to understand that.
00:19:07.780 That is one of the ways the Democrats have cheated.
00:19:09.920 The New York Times is already setting the stage.
00:19:11.560 They said, get ready for the latest wave of COVID.
00:19:13.640 Okay, I'm going to get ready at the end of October.
00:19:16.020 Something tells me that's going to be when COVID really strikes back.
00:19:19.260 That was one of the ways they cheated.
00:19:20.840 But the other way they cheated is through big tech.
00:19:22.880 I was talking about the oligarchs who control speech in our republic.
00:19:26.340 Well, what does tech do?
00:19:28.440 Tech censors articles and information that are critical of Democrats.
00:19:34.480 There was obviously the Hunter Biden story right before the 2020 election.
00:19:39.900 Republicans broke news about a laptop, a hard drive of Hunter Biden's that was found with
00:19:43.960 lots of evidence of crime, not just from Biden's derelict son, but implicating Joe Biden as well.
00:19:49.200 Not just weird sex stuff, not just weird drugs, but also financial crimes that are coming out
00:19:54.120 more and more and more.
00:19:55.040 And now, 18 months later, we're finally hearing the New York Times and Washington Post admit that
00:20:00.040 that is the case.
00:20:01.060 Fifteen percent of voters said that had, fifteen percent of Biden voters said that had they known
00:20:05.320 that that was the case, that there was this laptop that had implicated him in some crimes,
00:20:10.480 they would not have voted for Biden.
00:20:12.080 Could have swung the election.
00:20:13.500 So it's why this issue of big tech is so important.
00:20:16.720 It's why it should be, if not priority number one, at least in the top three for Republicans.
00:20:20.320 And it's why we're all so happy that Elon Musk is now taking over Twitter.
00:20:25.520 We like it not because Elon is some rock-ribbed right-wing conservative,
00:20:28.640 conservative, but because he's certainly not woke.
00:20:31.740 He's certainly not with the left.
00:20:34.600 And he has gone in, and he's bought nine percent of Twitter, more than nine percent of Twitter,
00:20:39.000 and he was offered a seat on the board of directors.
00:20:42.560 Initially, he was going to accept this seat.
00:20:44.900 Then we got some news that Elon Musk is not going to take the seat on the Twitter board of directors.
00:20:50.780 The first reaction from conservatives to this was disappointment.
00:20:54.160 We were crestfallen.
00:20:55.380 Oh, no, we were so close to changing Twitter.
00:20:57.560 We were so close to taking back the public square.
00:21:00.180 Oh, no, why won't Elon Musk do it?
00:21:03.380 Now that some information is coming at us to perhaps why Elon Musk didn't take the board seat,
00:21:08.100 the reaction has been elation.
00:21:09.940 So this from Parag Agrawal, who is the CEO of Twitter,
00:21:13.740 quote, Elon Musk has decided not to join our board.
00:21:17.080 We announced on Tuesday that Elon would be appointed to the board contingent on a background check
00:21:21.180 and formal acceptance.
00:21:22.180 Elon's appointment to the board was to become official, effective April 9th.
00:21:27.060 But Elon shared that same morning that he will no longer be joining the board.
00:21:32.060 Okay, no further explanation.
00:21:34.980 But this is how Agrawal signs off the letter.
00:21:38.120 The decisions, there will be distractions ahead.
00:21:41.780 But our goals and priorities remain unchanged.
00:21:44.100 The decisions we make and how we execute is in our hands, no one else's.
00:21:47.580 Let's tune out the noise and stay focused on the work and what we're building.
00:21:52.720 What do you mean there are going to be distractions?
00:21:55.200 What do you mean it's going to be a bumpy road ahead?
00:21:57.200 What are you referring to?
00:21:58.800 Your main antagonist, Elon Musk, just said he's not going to join the board.
00:22:03.440 Well, here's what's in the contract that they initially gave to Elon Musk.
00:22:07.000 So the deal was, we'll give you a seat on the board if you agree not to up your stake in Twitter.
00:22:33.380 Right now you own 9%, 9 and change.
00:22:36.140 Well, you can't own 15% or more if you join the board.
00:22:40.120 But one board seat isn't actually that powerful.
00:22:42.940 So more and more, it looks as though Twitter offered Musk the board seat,
00:22:46.880 not to give him a seat at the table, but to actually rein in the power
00:22:49.540 because he's gone in and he's now the single largest shareholder in Twitter.
00:22:53.620 It's not that easy to buy 9% of a company like Twitter.
00:22:57.740 It's not like Elon just picks up the phone and he says, buy, buy, buy, sell, sell, sell.
00:23:00.980 No, this is a complicated process.
00:23:04.080 He's doing it because he wants to influence the company.
00:23:06.740 And what this says to me is that, what this says to me is that Elon Musk
00:23:12.460 is not interested in pulling back from this whole Twitter game.
00:23:16.320 It says to me that he's interested in taking it on much more.
00:23:20.100 Potentially a hostile takeover here, which would be one of the most important things
00:23:23.680 we could do in this country for free speech
00:23:25.740 and the defense of the traditional American way of life.
00:23:28.880 Do it, Elon. Go on. I'm reading the tea leaves here.
00:23:32.320 I've got my Noel Stradamus hat on. Don't let me be wrong.
00:23:35.420 Go in. Hostile takeover. Boot out these woke idiots.
00:23:38.960 Give us back our public square.
00:23:42.680 That's what we're trying to do over here at Daily Wire.
00:23:45.380 We are trying to influence not just the political and media landscape,
00:23:50.000 but we're trying to smack down woke corporations all over the place.
00:23:53.820 A lot has happened since our backstage.
00:23:55.320 Well, we've got another backstage coming up.
00:23:57.980 That backstage is going to be tomorrow.
00:24:00.220 We're going to be talking about everything.
00:24:01.380 We're going to be talking about Biden's disastrous presidency.
00:24:04.080 We're going to be talking about the insane uptick in inflation.
00:24:07.860 We're going to be talking about woke corporations like Disney.
00:24:10.820 Do not miss it.
00:24:11.800 It's going to be me, Ben, Jeremy, Matt, Drew Clavin,
00:24:15.680 tomorrow night, 7 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Central, over at DailyWire.com.
00:24:20.620 If you are not a member yet, go to DailyWire.com, use code BUILDTHEFUTURE,
00:24:25.240 and you will get, drumroll please, 45% off.
00:24:30.140 Yes, 4-5% off.
00:24:32.260 If we are going to take on massive woke corporations like Disney,
00:24:36.340 we need your money.
00:24:37.920 It's as simple as that.
00:24:39.240 If you don't want the discount code, that's fine.
00:24:41.300 Don't use promo code BUILDTHEFUTURE.
00:24:42.840 Just subscribe.
00:24:43.840 We could use the money.
00:24:44.600 But if you want to join us right now, we are offering this deal to show you
00:24:49.120 how serious we are about taking on those woke corporations.
00:24:52.840 We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:25:06.360 In Elon Musk's potential hostile takeover of Twitter,
00:25:09.900 he has two proposals right off the top that he's pushing.
00:25:13.260 We're not talking about the long-coveted edit button.
00:25:17.020 We're not even necessarily talking about restoring banned accounts
00:25:19.740 like the Trump account or others.
00:25:22.540 We're talking about, well, for instance,
00:25:25.040 turning the Twitter headquarters into a homeless shelter.
00:25:30.140 Elon Musk is suggesting,
00:25:31.900 especially because the Twitter employees don't actually show up for work
00:25:36.180 because they're still remote,
00:25:38.500 because they're neurotic and are afraid of COVID,
00:25:41.900 and they want to live in a world without germs,
00:25:44.240 that there's no reason to have this expensive real estate here
00:25:46.760 and you can turn the Twitter headquarters into a homeless shelter.
00:25:49.480 Elon suggested this.
00:25:50.580 People thought it was a joke.
00:25:51.800 And then he said,
00:25:52.340 I'm very serious about this.
00:25:53.600 He might do it.
00:25:54.500 Do it.
00:25:55.000 I love it.
00:25:55.580 He follows this up.
00:25:56.740 He says,
00:25:57.460 we're thinking about changing the name.
00:25:59.000 Should we remove the W?
00:26:01.380 Should we remove the W from Twitter?
00:26:03.940 Would that improve the company?
00:26:05.300 I think it would.
00:26:05.900 I think everything Musk is doing right now
00:26:08.260 is exactly the right way to handle this,
00:26:11.180 which is troll them into the ground.
00:26:14.960 Troll this company until it is ash,
00:26:18.860 until you bring them to heel
00:26:20.740 and bring them into submission
00:26:22.980 or destroy the company entirely.
00:26:26.540 But what we're talking about here is
00:26:28.420 the difference between a friendly influencing of Twitter
00:26:33.900 and a hostile takeover.
00:26:35.620 When Elon first bought 9% of the company,
00:26:38.000 you saw these nice happy tweets
00:26:39.500 between the CEO and Elon.
00:26:41.160 Hey, we're so glad Elon's joining.
00:26:44.800 Please don't fire us.
00:26:46.120 And Elon, oh yes,
00:26:47.040 I can't wait to work with all of you.
00:26:48.300 That was the nice friendly version.
00:26:49.700 That broke down within what?
00:26:51.160 72 hours.
00:26:52.660 Now we're in potential hostile takeover territory.
00:26:55.080 That's the only place we're going to be.
00:26:57.280 The left will only respect strength.
00:27:00.800 In many ways, it's like we talk about foreign policy.
00:27:05.820 The only thing that these guys who hate us,
00:27:09.440 who think we're racist and sexist and thisist
00:27:12.480 and phobic and terrible and we're killing kids
00:27:14.260 and we're murderers and we're a threat to public safety,
00:27:17.360 the only thing they're going to respect
00:27:19.840 is political strength.
00:27:23.380 Bring them to heel.
00:27:25.860 Take over the company.
00:27:27.060 Take out the W.
00:27:27.840 Make a mockery of them.
00:27:29.640 Fire them.
00:27:30.580 Make them quit.
00:27:31.360 Make them run away.
00:27:32.400 You're seeing this not just here,
00:27:34.020 but you're seeing this with the Florida law.
00:27:35.820 After the Florida education bill,
00:27:38.180 you have teachers in kindergarten,
00:27:40.880 first grade, second grade,
00:27:41.760 who are very frustrated
00:27:43.140 because they want to trans the kids
00:27:44.500 and bad boy DeSantis won't let them trans the kids.
00:27:47.380 And so they say,
00:27:47.860 well, we're going to leave.
00:27:48.820 We're going to quit.
00:27:49.600 We can't do our job.
00:27:51.380 Great.
00:27:51.920 Sounds good to me.
00:27:52.800 Problem solved.
00:27:53.640 Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
00:27:55.240 Love that.
00:27:56.260 Personnel is policy.
00:27:58.140 Get these guys out of here.
00:27:59.900 Do you remember when the Army posted that woke ad,
00:28:02.920 that recruitment ad?
00:28:03.860 When I was a kid,
00:28:04.480 the Army ads were,
00:28:05.520 be all that you can,
00:28:07.320 be an army of one,
00:28:08.420 and people climbing up mountains
00:28:09.540 and doing cool manly things.
00:28:10.880 Well, now the new Army recruitment ad
00:28:12.340 is a woman saying that she learned
00:28:14.160 how to be a soldier
00:28:15.700 when her lesbian mothers
00:28:17.240 took her to a pride parade
00:28:18.860 and put a rainbow on her face.
00:28:21.160 The CIA now is recruiting
00:28:22.820 and saying that the CIA loves woke,
00:28:25.040 latinx, intersectional, feminist,
00:28:27.460 whatever the hell.
00:28:28.500 And part of the reason that they're doing that
00:28:30.720 is to get the conservatives out.
00:28:33.500 They don't want the conservatives.
00:28:34.880 They want the woke people.
00:28:37.220 The conservatives had
00:28:39.300 one or two institutions left
00:28:41.400 in the entire country,
00:28:42.780 the military and
00:28:44.320 AM radio, I guess,
00:28:47.060 where it's sort of like one and a half.
00:28:49.200 And the left wouldn't even let us have that.
00:28:51.420 A lot of the heavy-handed enforcement
00:28:54.160 of the COVID rules,
00:28:55.580 a lot of that
00:28:56.400 has the benefit for the left
00:28:58.100 of getting the conservatives
00:28:59.280 out of these institutions.
00:29:01.340 We've got to do the same.
00:29:03.040 You're seeing it in Florida.
00:29:04.120 You're seeing it potentially in Twitter.
00:29:05.620 Great stuff.
00:29:06.720 We've also figured out, by the way,
00:29:08.140 why Disney has gone so insanely woke.
00:29:11.520 Because I couldn't figure it out.
00:29:12.760 I thought,
00:29:13.660 yes, all the corporations are going woke now,
00:29:15.660 but why is Disney in particular,
00:29:16.960 Disney, where the bread and butter of this company
00:29:19.320 is families, is kids,
00:29:21.240 is normal people.
00:29:22.260 It's not even the woke, crazy coastal elites.
00:29:25.520 It's normal people in the middle of the country
00:29:27.260 who, for whatever reason,
00:29:28.600 decide to spend thousands and thousands of dollars
00:29:30.520 going to a theme park in Florida or California
00:29:33.440 where they can wait for seven hours
00:29:35.120 to go on two rides.
00:29:36.280 I don't get it.
00:29:37.280 It's not my thing,
00:29:38.160 but a lot of people love it.
00:29:39.460 And the people who love it
00:29:40.480 are normal people.
00:29:41.580 They're not radical ideologues.
00:29:43.040 So why are you going to flip them off?
00:29:46.220 Why are you going to have your company now say,
00:29:48.240 you can't engage with our product
00:29:50.220 because we're going to trans your kid.
00:29:51.640 We're going to steep them in radical ideology.
00:29:53.920 What was the thought process?
00:29:56.640 Well, now we've got a little bit of information on it.
00:30:00.300 The Disney heiress,
00:30:01.800 Charlie Disney,
00:30:03.240 has just come out
00:30:04.340 as transsexual.
00:30:07.000 This woman,
00:30:08.160 who's a woman,
00:30:09.740 but who thinks that she's a man,
00:30:11.780 is a high school teacher.
00:30:12.840 She criticized the Florida parental rights
00:30:15.580 and education law
00:30:16.420 saying these children,
00:30:18.640 the gay children
00:30:19.540 and the transgender children
00:30:20.920 and the pansexual
00:30:21.860 and all these,
00:30:23.060 the children that she believes
00:30:25.260 have this extraordinarily firm
00:30:27.100 sexual ideology and identity.
00:30:29.000 She says,
00:30:29.400 they can't learn about their community
00:30:31.560 and their history at school
00:30:33.400 or play sports
00:30:35.100 or use the bathroom
00:30:36.700 that they want to use.
00:30:37.920 Yeah, that's true.
00:30:41.020 At least the last part of that is true.
00:30:42.680 The last two parts.
00:30:43.580 Yes, the little boys
00:30:44.920 can't use the girls' bathroom.
00:30:48.060 I hope.
00:30:49.120 Actually, now they probably can
00:30:50.420 in lots of places,
00:30:51.140 but they shouldn't be able to.
00:30:53.020 It's disordered and weird
00:30:54.380 for little boys
00:30:55.120 to go use the girls' room at school.
00:30:56.700 And the heiress to Disney,
00:30:58.040 who's got Disney right there in her name,
00:30:59.660 is crying about this.
00:31:01.880 She says,
00:31:02.460 I haven't told people this before,
00:31:03.920 but I'm a transgender
00:31:04.900 and I've always known.
00:31:06.240 And this woman's mother
00:31:07.540 apparently told the Los Angeles Times
00:31:09.440 that from the age of two onward,
00:31:13.200 Charlie was pulling away
00:31:15.580 from the girls' shoe section
00:31:17.160 at the department store
00:31:18.340 and saying,
00:31:19.320 but mom,
00:31:19.960 I'm a boy on the inside.
00:31:21.940 So, in a way,
00:31:23.320 I sort of feel bad for this woman.
00:31:24.780 She's a grown woman now,
00:31:25.720 Charlie Disney,
00:31:26.520 but her mother's obviously
00:31:27.500 a complete lunatic too,
00:31:28.880 who believes that a two-year-old
00:31:30.020 can pick her own sex.
00:31:32.320 And so she was raised in this.
00:31:33.660 It's a very personal issue for her.
00:31:35.340 And it's probably
00:31:37.200 the biggest challenge
00:31:38.240 conservatives have
00:31:39.000 on this transgender issue
00:31:40.220 and on sexual issues generally
00:31:41.680 is people take it
00:31:43.980 really, really personally.
00:31:45.740 And so you can sit them down
00:31:46.980 over a nice cup of tea
00:31:48.180 and say,
00:31:48.860 listen,
00:31:49.160 I've got charts,
00:31:50.060 I've got graphs,
00:31:50.880 I've got a whiteboard behind me.
00:31:52.820 Boys,
00:31:54.400 not girls.
00:31:55.680 And you can speak
00:31:56.880 in the most elementary,
00:31:58.360 simple, logical terms
00:31:59.420 that you can.
00:32:00.280 And that's probably
00:32:00.940 not going to get through
00:32:01.640 because people are going to
00:32:02.760 interpret that
00:32:03.700 as an attack
00:32:04.360 on their identity.
00:32:05.980 The left loves this.
00:32:06.920 The left has always tried
00:32:08.140 to make politics personal.
00:32:09.920 This was the slogan
00:32:10.800 of the second wave feminists
00:32:11.980 in the 1970s.
00:32:13.040 They said the personal
00:32:14.040 is the political.
00:32:16.820 If we make our personal lives
00:32:18.700 right down to
00:32:20.120 who does the dishes,
00:32:21.560 right down to
00:32:22.080 who cooks dinner,
00:32:22.800 if we make that
00:32:23.320 a big political issue
00:32:24.380 open to public scrutiny,
00:32:25.680 and if we make public
00:32:26.820 political issues
00:32:27.620 extremely personal
00:32:29.040 and say that
00:32:29.720 if you oppose
00:32:30.440 a radical political agenda,
00:32:31.760 you're a hateful,
00:32:32.800 terrible monster
00:32:33.360 who wants to kill me,
00:32:35.120 if we can do that,
00:32:36.260 it's going to be much easier
00:32:37.960 to get our radical agenda
00:32:39.140 through.
00:32:39.580 The conservatives
00:32:39.960 aren't going to know
00:32:40.560 what hit them,
00:32:41.280 and they're going to have
00:32:42.040 a harder time arguing
00:32:42.840 against it
00:32:43.420 because our political agenda
00:32:45.180 will be immune
00:32:45.780 to facts and logic.
00:32:47.560 That's what they're after,
00:32:48.700 and they've done
00:32:49.160 a pretty good job of this.
00:32:51.080 What the libs are saying
00:32:52.240 right now
00:32:53.540 is that if you don't
00:32:54.400 want to lop off
00:32:55.260 the genitals
00:32:55.960 of a five-year-old,
00:32:57.360 if you don't want
00:32:57.960 to put little,
00:32:59.040 little kids
00:32:59.440 in elementary school
00:33:00.320 on cross-sex hormones,
00:33:02.600 that you are
00:33:03.620 killing them.
00:33:04.760 The suggestion
00:33:05.560 that you would
00:33:06.500 mutilate the genitals
00:33:08.420 of a little child
00:33:09.620 would have been
00:33:11.040 preposterous
00:33:12.340 even three,
00:33:13.540 four years ago,
00:33:14.520 even on the radical left.
00:33:16.560 Today,
00:33:17.440 the idea that
00:33:18.360 you wouldn't do that,
00:33:20.100 the idea that
00:33:21.000 if you oppose that,
00:33:22.400 you're a terrible murderer,
00:33:24.120 that is being pushed
00:33:25.060 by the White House.
00:33:26.660 To be clear,
00:33:27.620 every major medical association
00:33:29.200 agrees that
00:33:29.800 gender-affirming health care
00:33:31.000 for transgender kids
00:33:32.320 is a best practice
00:33:33.260 and potentially
00:33:33.960 life-saving.
00:33:36.140 Gender-affirming health care,
00:33:37.280 by the way,
00:33:37.660 means the opposite
00:33:38.400 of what it sounds like.
00:33:39.300 It's an ironic phrase
00:33:40.400 because really,
00:33:41.640 gender-affirming health care
00:33:42.640 would be when you tell
00:33:43.280 a confused boy
00:33:44.020 that he's a boy.
00:33:45.540 I know you're confused,
00:33:46.700 I know you're having problems,
00:33:47.620 but I'm affirming
00:33:48.480 the reality here,
00:33:49.700 you're a boy.
00:33:50.760 And they use the phrase
00:33:51.660 to mean
00:33:52.240 delusion-affirming health care.
00:33:56.220 And where they say,
00:33:57.420 you think you're a boy,
00:33:58.880 but you're actually a girl
00:33:59.520 and we're going to
00:33:59.780 lop your genitals off.
00:34:00.760 And she says,
00:34:01.220 look,
00:34:01.320 all the experts,
00:34:02.520 all the major experts
00:34:04.820 say that this is a best practice
00:34:06.480 and so we're going to do it.
00:34:07.720 But there's a little trick to this.
00:34:09.860 It's not just the expert doctors.
00:34:12.160 I would be skeptical of them.
00:34:13.240 If you're not skeptical
00:34:13.880 of guys wearing lab coats
00:34:14.940 after the last two years,
00:34:16.000 I can't help you.
00:34:16.840 You're not going to make it.
00:34:17.940 But there's a little bit
00:34:18.740 of a difference here.
00:34:19.620 She doesn't say
00:34:20.320 it's all the top doctors,
00:34:21.760 all the top scientists.
00:34:22.640 She says,
00:34:24.180 it's all the top associations,
00:34:26.360 meaning it's all the top
00:34:28.560 political entities
00:34:29.860 that represent people
00:34:31.800 in lab coats
00:34:32.540 and represent
00:34:33.100 the pharmaceutical industry,
00:34:34.440 for instance,
00:34:35.000 and represent the people
00:34:36.240 who are going to make
00:34:36.780 a lot of money on this
00:34:37.700 and already are.
00:34:39.280 We covered this
00:34:40.140 on the show last week.
00:34:41.880 The big study
00:34:42.840 that the Libs are citing
00:34:44.460 on how lopping off
00:34:46.020 kids' genitals
00:34:46.540 and putting them
00:34:47.200 on cross-sex hormones
00:34:48.000 is really good for them
00:34:48.920 and makes them feel happier,
00:34:49.920 that study is funded
00:34:51.780 by an organization
00:34:53.000 that is funded by
00:34:54.460 the pharmaceutical companies
00:34:56.140 that stand to make
00:34:57.140 the most money
00:34:57.780 from pumping the kids
00:34:58.720 full of hormones
00:34:59.300 and putting them
00:34:59.760 through these horrible procedures.
00:35:01.060 You think that's a little bit
00:35:01.840 of a conflict of interest?
00:35:02.920 I think so.
00:35:04.920 She says,
00:35:05.420 you have to do that.
00:35:06.260 It's the best practice.
00:35:08.360 It's not the best practice.
00:35:10.080 It's a horrible crime
00:35:11.400 and people who do it
00:35:12.220 should be jailed.
00:35:13.360 Okay?
00:35:14.280 First, they should be sat down
00:35:15.520 and talked to and said,
00:35:16.260 don't do that.
00:35:17.280 Don't trans the kids.
00:35:18.520 And if they insist
00:35:19.620 on doing it,
00:35:20.060 they should be thrown
00:35:20.620 in prison.
00:35:21.220 It's a horrible,
00:35:21.980 horrible abuse.
00:35:23.560 And so the left says,
00:35:24.240 we have to do it.
00:35:24.820 It's a best practice.
00:35:25.540 But then on the other hand,
00:35:26.240 they say,
00:35:26.460 but it's not happening,
00:35:27.180 by the way.
00:35:28.500 On the other hand,
00:35:29.280 they say,
00:35:29.680 it's not real.
00:35:30.660 None of these conversations
00:35:32.140 are happening in K
00:35:33.200 through second grade
00:35:35.140 or third grade
00:35:35.940 like you see
00:35:36.460 in the Florida law.
00:35:37.500 Every time I've talked
00:35:38.360 to a liberal about this
00:35:39.260 on the show
00:35:39.860 or off the show,
00:35:40.740 that's the first line
00:35:41.760 of argument.
00:35:42.220 They say,
00:35:42.380 it's not happening.
00:35:43.660 The law is taking on
00:35:46.220 a problem that's not real.
00:35:47.460 Well, we have evidence.
00:35:48.780 Libs of TikTok,
00:35:49.300 one of our favorite
00:35:50.340 accounts on Twitter,
00:35:51.500 has video of a first grade
00:35:52.560 teacher indoctrinating kids
00:35:54.560 in kindergarten
00:35:55.760 through second grade
00:35:56.420 classrooms
00:35:56.940 into transgenderism.
00:35:58.740 So something that's
00:35:59.820 really cool
00:36:00.500 and unique about
00:36:01.200 who I am
00:36:01.940 is that I am
00:36:02.900 transgender.
00:36:04.120 So we touched
00:36:05.240 a little bit about that
00:36:06.360 at the beginning
00:36:07.220 of this week
00:36:07.960 in the book
00:36:08.620 that Ms. Hammond read,
00:36:09.720 but I'm going to give
00:36:10.640 you my explanation
00:36:11.700 about what it means
00:36:12.760 to be transgender
00:36:13.500 as well.
00:36:14.620 So when babies are born,
00:36:16.020 the doctor looks at them
00:36:17.120 and they make a guess
00:36:18.180 about whether the baby
00:36:19.560 is a boy or a girl
00:36:20.960 based on what they look like.
00:36:22.740 And most of the time
00:36:23.640 that guess is 100% correct.
00:36:25.600 There are no issues
00:36:26.440 whatsoever.
00:36:28.380 But sometimes
00:36:29.460 the doctor is wrong.
00:36:31.100 The doctor makes
00:36:31.680 an incorrect guess.
00:36:33.180 When the doctor
00:36:33.860 makes a correct guess,
00:36:34.780 that's when a person
00:36:35.520 is called cisgender.
00:36:37.380 When a doctor's guess
00:36:38.520 is wrong,
00:36:39.240 that's when they are
00:36:39.820 transgender.
00:36:40.980 So I'm a man,
00:36:42.900 but when I was a baby,
00:36:44.340 the doctors told my parents
00:36:45.800 I was a girl.
00:36:47.180 And so my parents
00:36:48.620 gave me a name
00:36:49.460 that girls typically have
00:36:50.720 and bought me clothes
00:36:51.660 that girls typically wear.
00:36:53.660 And until I was 18 years old,
00:36:56.720 everyone thought
00:36:57.540 I was a girl.
00:36:58.560 And this was super,
00:36:59.680 super uncomfortable for me
00:37:00.800 because I knew
00:37:01.620 that wasn't right.
00:37:03.320 This is all obviously abusive.
00:37:05.560 This is very confusing
00:37:06.620 for children.
00:37:07.360 It's harming their education.
00:37:09.000 This girl,
00:37:10.880 I guess he's a woman.
00:37:12.060 She's a woman.
00:37:12.920 It's very confusing.
00:37:14.240 She says,
00:37:14.940 I was born a woman,
00:37:16.040 but now I'm a man.
00:37:17.560 Or I was born a man,
00:37:18.740 but the doctors
00:37:19.260 made their best guess
00:37:20.060 and thought that I was a woman
00:37:21.420 because I've got all
00:37:22.040 the female body parts
00:37:22.840 and I'm obviously a woman.
00:37:23.940 So this woman
00:37:24.580 is extremely confused
00:37:25.520 and should not be allowed
00:37:26.280 within 100 yards
00:37:27.140 of children
00:37:29.040 and should certainly
00:37:29.900 not be teaching
00:37:30.440 any children.
00:37:32.760 The issue here
00:37:33.780 is that nothing
00:37:34.940 she said is true.
00:37:37.300 She is spouting
00:37:38.880 delusional madness.
00:37:40.220 When you walk past
00:37:42.720 derelicts on the street
00:37:44.180 who are on drugs
00:37:45.400 or who have all sorts
00:37:46.240 of mental problems
00:37:47.620 and they're just
00:37:48.560 spouting nonsense
00:37:49.700 and they're talking
00:37:50.420 to the air
00:37:51.000 and they are talking
00:37:52.300 to the multiple personalities
00:37:53.480 floating around them
00:37:54.640 that only they can see
00:37:56.040 that you can't see,
00:37:57.180 those people make more sense
00:37:58.640 than this woman.
00:38:00.760 It's just completely wrong.
00:38:04.360 It's especially wrong
00:38:05.900 to confuse little kids
00:38:06.980 like this,
00:38:07.560 especially over an issue
00:38:08.400 that could have such
00:38:08.920 horrible effects on them.
00:38:10.200 They could end up
00:38:10.640 mutilating themselves.
00:38:11.800 They could end up
00:38:12.380 not knowing their
00:38:13.620 very basic identity
00:38:14.560 and basic facts
00:38:15.200 about the world.
00:38:16.500 But it's just wrong.
00:38:17.380 It's not making
00:38:17.920 anyone happier.
00:38:19.520 Do you think
00:38:20.080 that that woman
00:38:20.680 is stable,
00:38:22.580 happy,
00:38:23.760 ready to go,
00:38:24.400 okay,
00:38:24.700 that's all I had to do
00:38:25.600 was pump myself
00:38:26.400 full of hormones
00:38:27.060 and maybe undergo
00:38:28.360 some mutilations,
00:38:29.840 I don't know what,
00:38:30.500 and now I'm really happy
00:38:31.540 and well adjusted?
00:38:32.640 No, of course not.
00:38:34.100 And I don't really believe
00:38:36.200 any statistics
00:38:37.240 that I read,
00:38:38.120 but such that we have
00:38:39.040 statistics,
00:38:39.880 none of this stuff
00:38:40.460 is working.
00:38:40.920 The argument
00:38:41.280 from the White House
00:38:43.140 and from the Democrats
00:38:43.860 right now
00:38:44.320 is that gender affirming
00:38:46.020 counseling and drugs
00:38:47.520 and health care
00:38:48.280 is really helping
00:38:49.620 these children deal
00:38:50.820 with their stress
00:38:51.480 and anxiety.
00:38:52.260 It's not true.
00:38:53.320 You look at any
00:38:54.160 social scientific evidence,
00:38:56.060 the numbers are getting worse.
00:38:57.640 Since we began
00:38:58.440 indulging this crap
00:38:59.440 five, six,
00:39:00.620 seven years ago,
00:39:02.120 the rates of suicide,
00:39:04.880 depression,
00:39:05.380 anxiety,
00:39:05.820 have gone up.
00:39:07.180 They've especially
00:39:07.740 gone up in kids.
00:39:08.700 They've especially
00:39:09.200 gone up in kids
00:39:09.940 who consider themselves
00:39:10.840 LGBT, LMNOP.
00:39:12.920 So whatever we're doing,
00:39:14.620 it's not working.
00:39:15.460 It's having the opposite effect.
00:39:17.620 And what are we doing?
00:39:18.460 The strategy is
00:39:19.100 affirm the delusions.
00:39:21.300 And what is the consequence?
00:39:22.760 I know that correlation
00:39:23.980 is not necessarily causation,
00:39:25.920 but I think there might
00:39:26.620 be a link here.
00:39:28.040 When we indulge delusion,
00:39:30.080 when we live in fantasy world,
00:39:32.220 everything gets worse.
00:39:34.220 Nothing gets better.
00:39:37.020 People are really struggling.
00:39:39.200 So what's the answer?
00:39:41.520 Let's try something different.
00:39:43.340 Let's try maybe
00:39:44.000 the opposite approach.
00:39:45.700 And these people
00:39:46.360 who are pushing
00:39:47.420 these extraordinarily harmful
00:39:48.560 and destructive
00:39:49.060 and false ideologies,
00:39:50.360 they need to be put away
00:39:51.780 from the first grade classroom.
00:39:54.880 They need to be put away
00:39:55.860 from positions of influence.
00:39:57.220 They need to get better.
00:39:59.060 And they need to be brought
00:40:00.040 into accord with reality.
00:40:03.200 I'm not just focusing
00:40:04.320 on this one issue
00:40:05.080 of transgenderism,
00:40:06.040 which is no longer
00:40:07.100 can you even really call it
00:40:08.000 a minor issue
00:40:08.520 because it's exploding
00:40:09.580 right now in the public square.
00:40:11.580 It's catching on
00:40:12.420 like a social contagion.
00:40:13.400 I'm talking about
00:40:14.080 so many other issues.
00:40:16.880 People are getting
00:40:17.860 more anxious,
00:40:19.060 more stressed,
00:40:19.860 more lonely,
00:40:21.080 more miserable.
00:40:22.200 And so whatever we're doing,
00:40:23.640 we need to turn it around.
00:40:25.100 There was one of these
00:40:29.320 viral TikTok videos
00:40:31.000 of a woman who's obviously
00:40:33.580 very radical on the left
00:40:35.540 of the political spectrum
00:40:36.640 that just went viral
00:40:38.300 that really, really tugged
00:40:42.240 on my heartstrings.
00:40:43.500 Take a listen.
00:40:44.660 Guys, I really need some friends.
00:40:46.560 Um, I'm a really cool person.
00:40:52.200 And I know I look weird
00:40:53.960 and I act funny,
00:40:55.460 but I promise I'm cool.
00:40:58.660 I'm really nice too.
00:41:02.240 I have a car.
00:41:03.700 I'll pick you up.
00:41:05.400 I'll waste my gas on you.
00:41:07.680 You can play with my dog.
00:41:09.240 Please be my friend.
00:41:13.200 I'm so lonely.
00:41:15.740 Some people were making fun
00:41:17.320 of this video.
00:41:18.780 That video broke my heart.
00:41:20.800 That is actually a hard video
00:41:22.720 to watch.
00:41:24.400 And what's so hard about it
00:41:26.420 is one,
00:41:27.240 this woman is clearly in pain.
00:41:29.760 But two,
00:41:31.520 what's hard to watch about it
00:41:32.540 is that it's not extraordinary.
00:41:34.760 If this were unique,
00:41:35.760 if this were just a one-off,
00:41:36.980 oh, this poor woman,
00:41:38.140 she's got these unique
00:41:39.080 singular problems.
00:41:40.220 Oh, I hope we can help her.
00:41:41.200 That would be one thing.
00:41:42.420 The problem is that
00:41:43.220 it's not unique.
00:41:44.820 The problem is
00:41:45.700 that we're getting
00:41:47.100 much lonelier.
00:41:48.920 This is a social problem
00:41:50.760 and it's been building
00:41:51.620 not just for years,
00:41:52.720 but for decades at this point.
00:41:55.020 People are lonelier,
00:41:56.820 more isolated,
00:41:58.380 less connected,
00:41:59.380 more stressed out,
00:42:00.320 more anxious.
00:42:01.560 And the reasons for this
00:42:03.180 run very deep.
00:42:05.280 It's not easy enough to say,
00:42:06.560 oh, well, take some drug.
00:42:07.560 Or, oh, just change
00:42:09.760 the way you're thinking.
00:42:10.460 Read one self-help book
00:42:11.400 and you'll be better.
00:42:12.080 No, this goes really,
00:42:13.460 really deep.
00:42:15.060 It goes,
00:42:15.660 it actually goes down
00:42:16.700 to this issue
00:42:17.400 of delusion.
00:42:20.040 People don't have
00:42:20.980 friends anymore.
00:42:21.960 People don't even
00:42:22.980 understand what
00:42:23.940 friendship is anymore.
00:42:25.040 People think that
00:42:25.600 friendship is just
00:42:26.740 the,
00:42:28.500 that going to brunch
00:42:30.060 or something.
00:42:30.660 People think that
00:42:31.240 friendship is the people
00:42:32.440 that you spend a little
00:42:33.220 time with and maybe
00:42:34.060 you kind of like
00:42:34.720 some of the same things
00:42:36.080 or maybe you just
00:42:37.140 met one another
00:42:38.020 through happenstance
00:42:39.040 and you're friendly enough
00:42:40.520 and you,
00:42:41.040 you,
00:42:41.640 you have pleasant
00:42:42.940 enough conversation
00:42:43.820 and therefore
00:42:44.800 you're friends.
00:42:45.940 Friendship is,
00:42:46.660 is much deeper than that.
00:42:47.960 I think it was C.S. Lewis
00:42:48.800 who said,
00:42:49.640 if lovers are,
00:42:50.860 are people who
00:42:51.720 look at one another,
00:42:53.040 who are just totally
00:42:53.780 enraptured by one another,
00:42:55.220 friends are people
00:42:55.860 who stand next to one another
00:42:57.200 and look at the same thing.
00:42:59.640 And they've got slightly,
00:43:00.960 they're pretty,
00:43:01.620 pretty aligned
00:43:02.380 on how they see that thing
00:43:03.440 but they've got
00:43:04.160 slightly different bandages
00:43:05.280 because they're individuals
00:43:06.880 but they're looking
00:43:07.720 at that same thing.
00:43:09.380 And the crux of that matter
00:43:10.900 is objective reality.
00:43:13.500 It's very hard
00:43:15.060 to have friends
00:43:16.000 when you are stuck
00:43:17.380 in a solipsistic hell.
00:43:19.460 It's very difficult
00:43:20.520 to have friends
00:43:21.540 when you deny
00:43:23.560 basic features of reality
00:43:25.380 because then you have
00:43:26.420 no way to communicate
00:43:27.220 with other people.
00:43:28.200 Then you're not looking
00:43:29.060 at the same thing
00:43:29.780 or you're at least
00:43:30.560 not admitting to looking
00:43:31.420 at the same thing.
00:43:32.380 Then everything is about
00:43:33.700 you, you, you
00:43:34.380 and your subjective feelings
00:43:35.700 and your caprices
00:43:37.920 and your whims
00:43:39.080 and your delusions
00:43:39.960 and it traps you.
00:43:41.440 I don't mean to speak
00:43:42.780 glib or flippantly
00:43:43.620 about any of this.
00:43:44.620 It's horrible.
00:43:45.740 When you indulge
00:43:46.720 your fantasies,
00:43:48.180 you isolate yourself
00:43:49.800 from the world
00:43:50.760 inevitably
00:43:51.360 because no one can see
00:43:52.780 the things
00:43:53.240 that you're imagining.
00:43:55.500 And this is,
00:43:56.820 I'm not just talking
00:43:57.920 about a handful
00:43:58.780 of people
00:43:59.200 with some psychological problems
00:44:00.600 or the larger number
00:44:01.640 of people
00:44:01.960 who have caught on
00:44:02.680 to that
00:44:02.940 because of a social contagion.
00:44:04.560 I'm talking about
00:44:05.320 pretty much everybody
00:44:06.200 in the culture.
00:44:07.280 And now,
00:44:07.800 on the rare occasions
00:44:08.820 that people
00:44:09.720 can have friendships,
00:44:11.120 we sexualize everything.
00:44:13.400 We have this line,
00:44:14.100 we'll say,
00:44:14.420 if you're friends
00:44:15.100 with a buddy,
00:44:16.120 you go out
00:44:16.640 and you're like,
00:44:17.020 hey buddy,
00:44:17.440 hey man,
00:44:17.800 I love you man.
00:44:18.440 We had a great,
00:44:18.900 this was great.
00:44:19.460 I really enjoyed
00:44:20.100 this conversation
00:44:20.780 or really enjoyed
00:44:21.800 this thing
00:44:22.320 that we've done together
00:44:23.020 or I just really
00:44:24.140 love your friendship.
00:44:24.820 Hey man,
00:44:25.180 I love you.
00:44:25.840 No homo.
00:44:27.340 And we say no homo
00:44:29.060 because the suggestion
00:44:30.940 is that any time
00:44:32.620 you have any care
00:44:33.900 for someone,
00:44:34.940 it's sexual.
00:44:36.360 Everything has become
00:44:37.720 sexual,
00:44:39.140 which is part of attraction,
00:44:41.400 it's part of human connection,
00:44:43.320 but it's not everything.
00:44:44.880 There are other kinds
00:44:45.860 of loves as well
00:44:46.960 that entirely missing
00:44:49.360 from our discourse.
00:44:50.320 It's why you're seeing
00:44:51.140 a decay of friendship,
00:44:52.400 it's why you're seeing
00:44:53.040 a spike in loneliness,
00:44:54.380 it's why people
00:44:55.060 don't understand
00:44:55.920 who they are.
00:45:00.000 Expect more videos
00:45:01.160 like this.
00:45:02.660 It's heartbreaking
00:45:03.260 and no one has
00:45:04.340 the courage
00:45:05.300 or the common decency
00:45:06.240 to tell people,
00:45:07.360 this woman has pronouns
00:45:08.320 in her bio
00:45:08.940 and she says
00:45:09.440 that she's a they.
00:45:10.540 So she's obviously
00:45:11.280 got some kind of
00:45:12.000 trans, pan,
00:45:14.000 multiple genders,
00:45:16.200 I don't know.
00:45:16.780 But she's got
00:45:17.400 those kinds of issues
00:45:18.660 in particular
00:45:19.260 and it's symptomatic
00:45:20.580 of a larger problem.
00:45:23.480 Now,
00:45:23.660 if our politicians
00:45:25.500 don't take on that issue,
00:45:28.040 which is not so simple
00:45:29.260 as fix the gas prices,
00:45:30.620 fix the immigration system,
00:45:32.060 go hit Putin on the head,
00:45:34.660 it's a little bit deeper,
00:45:35.640 it's a little more
00:45:36.080 cultural and social.
00:45:37.500 It's not so simple as,
00:45:38.660 hey, leave me alone,
00:45:39.600 just don't,
00:45:40.220 you do you,
00:45:41.080 live your life,
00:45:41.740 just don't raise my taxes,
00:45:42.880 don't infringe on my rights.
00:45:43.960 We're talking about
00:45:44.720 reconstructing the family,
00:45:47.320 we're talking about
00:45:47.740 reconstructing civil society,
00:45:49.200 we're talking about
00:45:49.960 how we all get along
00:45:51.260 together in politics.
00:45:52.180 If a politician
00:45:53.160 is not offering you
00:45:53.940 answers there,
00:45:55.140 then the politician
00:45:55.760 isn't offering you
00:45:56.500 much of anything at all.
00:45:57.940 DeSantis has a great,
00:45:58.880 a great gut on this.
00:46:00.640 DeSantis just signed
00:46:01.440 a bill in Florida
00:46:02.380 to promote fatherhood.
00:46:05.900 This is a $70 million bill.
00:46:08.820 He is spending
00:46:09.420 hard-earned taxpayer dollars
00:46:11.200 to beef up
00:46:13.140 the American family
00:46:14.080 and specifically
00:46:14.740 to promote fatherhood.
00:46:16.140 One of the worst
00:46:17.960 social trends
00:46:18.960 has been the decline
00:46:20.540 of fatherhood
00:46:21.320 and we do have
00:46:22.620 in many instances
00:46:23.500 a fatherhood crisis
00:46:25.060 in this country.
00:46:26.440 The fact of the matter is
00:46:28.080 when you take kids
00:46:29.940 that do not have
00:46:31.440 a father present
00:46:32.840 during their upbringing,
00:46:34.540 the chance of them
00:46:35.680 dropping out of school,
00:46:37.420 getting involved
00:46:38.240 in trouble with the law,
00:46:39.780 having other difficulties,
00:46:41.180 increases,
00:46:42.060 we've got community groups
00:46:43.400 and non-profits
00:46:44.240 that want to be there
00:46:45.540 to help.
00:46:46.440 And so we're putting
00:46:47.120 our money where our mouth is.
00:46:48.540 We're here showing
00:46:49.660 the importance of this,
00:46:51.040 but you've got to be willing
00:46:52.300 to do the right thing
00:46:54.040 and be present
00:46:55.040 in your child's life.
00:46:56.800 It's not,
00:46:57.640 you're not a man
00:46:58.520 by leaving your kids
00:46:59.820 hung out to dry.
00:47:02.120 You need to be there.
00:47:03.360 It is,
00:47:03.980 it takes a lot
00:47:04.960 of responsibility.
00:47:06.060 It's not easy.
00:47:07.160 It takes a lot
00:47:07.800 of time and effort,
00:47:09.020 but that is what
00:47:10.040 we are called upon to do
00:47:11.360 and we want to make sure
00:47:13.040 that every single kid
00:47:14.020 in Florida
00:47:14.540 has their father present.
00:47:18.220 And if we can do that,
00:47:19.700 I think it's going
00:47:20.560 to be huge
00:47:21.580 for the vitality
00:47:23.180 of our communities.
00:47:25.320 Absolutely it will be.
00:47:26.880 Whenever I see
00:47:27.900 some angry leftist
00:47:29.300 shrieking with crazy
00:47:30.560 colored hair
00:47:31.280 and all sorts
00:47:31.920 of mutilations,
00:47:32.880 just screaming
00:47:33.460 and saying all sorts
00:47:34.120 of vile things,
00:47:35.060 I will often joke
00:47:36.120 with my friends.
00:47:36.780 They'll joke to me
00:47:37.320 or I'll joke to them.
00:47:37.980 Say, hey,
00:47:38.860 that person probably
00:47:39.580 has a great relationship
00:47:40.440 with her father, right?
00:47:41.960 No, probably.
00:47:42.760 Yeah,
00:47:42.880 obviously they've got
00:47:44.040 a great relationship.
00:47:45.200 I have a friend of mine
00:47:45.980 who says that all
00:47:47.240 left-wing politics
00:47:48.360 basically amounts to
00:47:49.540 screw you, dad.
00:47:51.240 This will show you
00:47:52.320 and I'm joking about it.
00:47:53.920 It's kind of funny
00:47:54.440 when some angry leftist
00:47:55.420 is doing that.
00:47:56.680 But it's quite sad,
00:47:58.880 actually,
00:47:59.260 and it's especially sad
00:48:00.160 when people are showing you
00:48:01.880 the misery
00:48:02.480 that they're living in,
00:48:03.840 a lot of which comes
00:48:05.000 from broken families
00:48:05.980 and not recognizing
00:48:06.900 our own place
00:48:08.260 in the family,
00:48:09.200 in society,
00:48:09.840 in the country,
00:48:10.360 in our relationship
00:48:10.940 to our maker.
00:48:11.760 That is a fundamental
00:48:14.480 political problem
00:48:15.700 that we need to use
00:48:17.020 the government,
00:48:17.600 that we need to use
00:48:18.120 our political resources
00:48:18.880 to solve.
00:48:19.720 And if we don't solve
00:48:20.480 that kind of thing
00:48:21.280 and we just continue
00:48:22.680 to live in atomized,
00:48:24.300 isolated fantasy,
00:48:25.640 then no amount
00:48:26.340 of tax cuts
00:48:27.180 or administrative regulations
00:48:29.520 is going to do
00:48:30.260 a damn thing
00:48:30.820 to make the country better.
