The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Anti-Canada Leftist gets demolished by patriots on Canada Day!

00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here.

00:00:02.900 It was Canada Day yesterday, and although you and I both know this country has serious problems

00:00:08.960 that require serious and deep reform in order to fix, I think that in this day and age,

00:00:15.460 we can still all come together and laugh at leftists who genuinely hate this country.

00:00:21.300 They are the type of people who will call you and I a traitor for having ever agreed

00:00:26.000 with President Donald Trump on anything, yet on the day where we're just supposed to be celebrating Canada

00:00:32.520 as a good thing in and of itself, they come out of the woodwork to start screaming about colonialism

00:00:37.660 and racism and whatnot. Let's have fun at least pointing and laughing at them the day after Canada Day.

00:00:44.900 Before I get into it, guys, I just want to remind you, hey, if you like the show, make sure to leave a like

00:00:49.840 on this video, subscribe to the channel if you're not yet a subscriber, and leave a comment on what

00:00:55.180 you think about this particular story. Sorry, I'm not in my usual space here. A little bit of some

00:01:01.040 bad lighting, but I think we can all get past that. This is the real star of the show today anyways.

00:01:07.440 So this woman is Salem Debs, and her post yesterday got ratioed harder than I'd ever seen a post get 1.00

00:01:15.760 ratioed. Like, we would probably have to go into the Hall of Fame of ratios in order to find something

00:01:20.920 that got slammed as hard as this. So she says, to celebrate Canada Day is to celebrate settler

00:01:27.200 colonialism, genocide, enslavement, oppression, violence, extraction, exploitation, and attempted

00:01:35.020 annihilation of indigenous peoples, along with 250 years of enslavement of black African peoples.

00:01:42.260 Today, it should be an opportunity to teach our families, friends, and children the truth,

00:01:47.080 unlearn, and give back what's owed. Land back. Reparations now are her hashtags.

00:01:53.660 So it should already be clear to you that this woman is insane. She, one, is not indigenous, 1.00

00:02:02.340 by the way. She is, in fact, one of the settlers that she speaks of that's engaged in settler colonialism,

00:02:07.860 if she's to actually believe her own words. And so she's also, as we're going to get into,

00:02:14.060 a beneficiary of the Canadian state. But I just wanted to include this comment that Jonathan Kaye

00:02:22.100 made. Obviously, I'm having to use screenshots because she privated her account pretty quickly

00:02:27.540 after making this post, a little bit after seven hours of it having been up. She privated the entire

00:02:33.680 account so you can't see anything. But Jonathan Kaye notes from her LinkedIn that she is a professional

00:02:39.540 anti-oppression educator. Yeah, this is the person we're dealing with here. It's very obvious kind

00:02:46.940 of what their political stripe is or what their beliefs are as soon as you see that professional

00:02:52.720 anti-oppression educator. If you can work a job like that in Canada and you're going to complain about

00:02:58.200 the country, leave. But here, I got to show you this. This is a posting on the Open Canada website

00:03:08.440 that shows you who gets money from the government of Canada. And wouldn't you believe it, this person

00:03:15.000 gets money from the Canadian government. So this racist, oppressive, colonial, genocidal, 0.95

00:03:21.900 probably, I don't know, smelly is another word we can throw in there, just any negative word, you know, 0.99

00:03:28.340 corrupt, unwashed. I don't know what else, out of date, losing. But here's the, but then you throw 0.82

00:03:37.040 in there, she gets $11,865 from the Canadian government. She got that contract date September

00:03:45.120 1st, 2022. Original value was the same. Work description, tuition fees and costs of attending

00:03:51.000 courses, including seminars, not elsewhere specified. So she got money. Did she provide

00:03:57.820 anything for anybody? No. The Canadian government gave this woman close to $12,000 to attend seminars 0.99

00:04:06.460 and classes. So we got nothing out of it. And she has the gall, she has the, I guess, courage to

00:04:17.240 actually stand up and call everyone around her, like, you know, uneducated about oppression and

00:04:23.480 exploitation of Canada. At the same time, she's exploiting taxpayers for her own benefit here. 1.00

00:04:29.320 There's a bunch of other stuff that came about this lady. So I want to highlight some more of it.

00:04:34.140 Well, I want to actually want to go to my own posting about this, because it shows you how bad

00:04:38.240 the ratio was. As I said, has someone ever been ratioed this hard before? Look, she had 16 likes 0.50

00:04:45.040 on her post, 161 retweets, which were mostly quote tweets, pointing and laughing, and 752 comments.

00:04:54.040 And that was only after she turned comments off, which I believe had already been turned off for

00:04:58.680 several hours at this point, but you could still like it. And still, she could only attract 16 people

00:05:03.620 over. And just because people were not liking that post, does not mean that there's not a large

00:05:08.980 portion of lefty Canadians who agree with her. You see this rhetoric in the Liberal Party's own,

00:05:15.940 like, coming from the Liberal government during their time leading the country. It's like Justin

00:05:20.720 Trudeau getting up and agreeing that Canada has been involved in an ongoing genocide against

00:05:26.380 Indigenous women. The thing is, the government agrees with people like Salem Debs. Why do you think 1.00

00:05:32.420 they gave her money? Someone pointed out, and I think this is true, this was Mark Nixon who posted

00:05:39.500 this video, although I believe the original poster down here was Ryan Gerritsen. He says,

00:05:45.480 imagine using Canada Day to push fear division and anti-American propaganda. That's exactly what

00:05:50.620 Carney did. He wants Canadians terrified, cut off from the United States, and crawling to Europe.

00:05:55.220 This isn't leadership, it's agenda-driven manipulation, truly disgusting. And I agree. 0.90

00:06:00.240 As someone even pointed out, it's kind of a bit of a limp statement in general. When your patriotism,

00:06:07.640 again, is only derived from not liking the Americans, you're not a Canadian patriot. You don't actually

00:06:12.940 like Canada if your description of what Canada is has to do with what basically makes us different

00:06:20.260 than Americans. Now we face another such moment. The world is changing. Old friendships are fraying. Our economy is

00:06:29.800 being buffeted by a trade war we didn't start. Our values are being tested by attacks on democracy and freedoms

00:06:37.580 that we must resist. As the world becomes more divided and dangerous, Canadians are uniting. Together, we will build

00:06:47.200 one Canadian economy connected by major projects.

00:06:50.980 I can just end it there. It just turns into just a Liberal Party ad. If anything, this is the exact day

00:06:56.640 that you don't do a Liberal Party ad as a video. And talking about like, we have fraying friendships and

00:07:02.900 we're in a trade war that we didn't start. Sorry to like, ruffle the feathers of some Canadians. But we kind

00:07:11.680 of did start it a little bit. The supply management system is a tariff on basically the United States.

00:07:18.520 No one's trying to send us dairy from Italy. No one's trying to send us dairy from Norway. It's

00:07:25.060 pretty much just trying to keep out United States dairy. We have a tariff on a lot of products that 0.73

00:07:30.440 come from the United States. Not like thousands and thousands, but some major products, some industries

00:07:35.960 that are right over the border who are not allowed to sell into Canada unless they pay a 250% tariff,

00:07:40.500 which means that you're completely uncompetitive. You cannot sell into Canada. They even have it that

00:07:44.860 you couldn't even sell. Like if you, you couldn't even sell it at like for like pennies on the dollar

00:07:48.960 because there's a minimum amount that they make Americans have to sell the products into Canada

00:07:53.300 before the 250% tariff is levied. It's completely stupid. So you couldn't even send it into Canada for 1.00

00:08:00.060 free if you wanted to. They would also block that. So yeah, we actually technically started it.

00:08:06.340 They just fired back and now we're looking at them saying like, oh my goodness, how could you do

00:08:09.920 this to us? We weren't attacking. You're like, well, we were tariffing them first. And then in

00:08:13.320 the middle of negotiations, Mark Carney decides to implement the digital services tax. And people

00:08:18.820 say, well, it was already passed in 2024. He had to implement it. No, he didn't. And he also could

00:08:23.980 have come into office and immediately repealed it saying, we're not going to implement that. We're

00:08:27.280 actually going to flatly repeal it because it's a stupid bill. It's a stupid piece of legislation 1.00

00:08:31.980 that basically is just tariffing American tech firms plus maybe Shopify. That's pretty much it in 1.00

00:08:36.880 Canada, which is going to make us look really bad at the negotiating table.

00:08:40.860 Mark Carney got absolutely demolished by Trump on that. He looked pathetic, implementing attacks 0.98

00:08:46.060 that he then rescinded within 48 hours for nothing because it was a stupid thing to have done in the 1.00

00:08:50.640 first place. But now I want to talk about some of the actual truly anti-Canadian people around this 0.95

00:08:57.160 country, which includes the government of Montreal. So if you didn't see this, Canada Day Parade

00:09:05.120 canceled for second consecutive year in Montreal. Now, you know, you think that at the time when

00:09:12.580 Mark Carney and other people on the left side of the aisle are attacking Daniel Smith for the false

00:09:17.040 charge that she is a separatist and attacking anyone who doesn't like the current way the Dominion or 0.96

00:09:22.260 the, what is it, the Confederation works in Alberta, that they're a traitor, they're some sort

00:09:29.480 of 51st state separatist or whatever. You think they would have some criticism of Montreal canceling

00:09:35.120 the Canada Day Parade. Was it because of security? No, they just cancel it. They still had their pride

00:09:40.020 parades. They still had all their others. They still had all the Hamas protesters on the streets 0.98

00:09:44.000 every single day blocking traffic. That's fine. That's patriotic. You can't have the Canadian flags 0.98

00:09:49.380 on the streets of Montreal. No comment from any liberal in the province saying this is ridiculous. 0.94

00:09:54.700 We can't be like, why aren't we having a parade in Quebec's largest city? No, nothing was said.

00:10:01.680 And, but yeah, of course on Canada Day, we also had the Hamas people show up to the capital in order 1.00

00:10:10.100 to wave their flags around. So this is what Canada Day looked if you were on Parliament Hill on July 1st.

00:10:15.700 They also have communist flags back there, just in case you were, you were concerned that the

00:10:28.140 tanky Stalinists didn't show up.

00:10:30.680 This is a complete oversight by the capital. You didn't block off Parliament Hill for only patriotic

00:10:44.060 activity on July 1st. I think that's a good thing. And it's not, it's not anti-free speech.

00:10:48.540 The government can just say, we booked our own area for the day because we're going to have,

00:10:51.840 you know, flag waving Canadian fun on, on July 1st. No, because again, the people who run this

00:10:57.780 country don't really like it that much. They just don't like the Americans, as I keep saying.

00:11:02.560 And another thing, here we go. Here's them talking about the unceded territory at the official

00:11:08.560 Ottawa celebration that same day. We're on unceded territory. I thought we were, I thought

00:11:13.880 we liked this country. I thought we were not trying to undermine our own sovereignty anymore.

00:11:17.840 The 158th Canada Day is celebrated live from the Breton Flats Park, which is on the unceded territory

00:11:29.660 of the Algonquin Anishinaabe nation.

00:11:31.980 By the way, it's, it's ceded. The land is ceded. If you're able to build what you want,

00:11:40.520 sell and buy that land, it's ceded. Oh, it's unceded because there was like some stipulation

00:11:45.460 in a treaty a long time ago that said that there was something, something, it's ceded,

00:11:49.720 guys. At this point, let's stop this kind of frankly insulting narrative where we tell

00:11:54.900 indigenous people that there's a chance that we could give you back the national capital.

00:11:59.000 We're not. It's everyone's capital, including yours too. But it's not specifically your band

00:12:04.820 council's land anymore. That's, it was just never going to survive that way. I'm sorry. You're never

00:12:09.900 going to be able to hold on to just vast swathes of land with like a few thousand people. You know,

00:12:14.960 with, you know, sometimes these tribes do have a lot of people in them. But when you look at it,

00:12:18.960 and it's like the size of provinces or the size of European countries is the territory some of these

00:12:23.700 groups held, obviously that was never going to continue when the band in some of these areas,

00:12:29.640 like the Wet'suwet'en, are only like 3,000 people. You cannot hold on to a piece of territory 1.00

00:12:34.220 literally bigger than Montenegro, which is what they currently claim.

00:12:38.680 So now jumping over to a couple of these other things. I, there, and the thing is, again,

00:12:44.480 there's a lot of leftists like this on social media. There's not tons and tons of them because

00:12:48.780 they understand. Most of them are smart enough not to, to know, especially these days,

00:12:52.380 not to say anything anti-Canadian, but you get tons of these people who half the time,

00:12:57.320 they don't like Canada for like the absurd reason that we're not doing enough for Hamas and Gaza. 0.95

00:13:02.660 This person, Trisha Gordon says, spent Canada Day reading books, drinking kombucha, and reflecting

00:13:07.940 on how I can't fathom celebrating a country complicit in genocide. I hold gratitude for the peace,

00:13:13.960 safety, and privilege I have in this country, but I am not proud. Hashtag land back,

00:13:18.280 hashtag Canada Day, hashtag free Palestine. Oh my goodness. And this person right here saying,

00:13:23.740 Canada Day, reflected by artist Kent Monkman, because of course this is all Canada is. It's,

00:13:30.000 it's residential schools. If you believe that, you truly just leave the country. I don't even care 1.00

00:13:35.600 if you're First Nations. If you have that truly anti-view of Canada, just leave at this point,

00:13:41.340 just like that Salima Debs person. If it's a colonial settler state, leave then. Go somewhere else. 0.98

00:13:46.560 Jennifer Purdy then says, I hope to live to see a better Canada, one that stops genocide here and

00:13:53.520 stops genocide, supporting genocide in Palestine. Every, ever since learning the true history of 0.74

00:13:59.400 indigenous and colonialism, Canada Day feels far differently than it did for decades that I lived

00:14:05.000 in ignorance. The funny thing is the ignorant version of this lady was smarter. And this is my 1.00

00:14:11.100 final thing I want to talk about because I find it funny. So Mr. Naheed Nenshi, probably the worst

00:14:16.380 leader in Canada, the worst NDP leader in Canada after Jagmeet Singh, he tries to cut this video

00:14:24.120 celebrating Canada Day. And it's very ironic once I reveal the background information.

00:14:30.740 Well, happy Canada Day, everyone. This is my first time outside of Calgary for Canada Day in so long,

00:14:36.720 and I'm thrilled to be spending the day in and around Edmondson, starting right here at the

00:14:41.460 Smiley Muslim Community Stampede Breakfast at the legislature grounds. I'll have a citizenship

00:14:45.940 ceremony to preside over. I will have a number of pancakes to flip and hopefully fireworks at the

00:14:51.460 end of the night. We will see you around. But you know what? This... Okay. Okay. Well, that's nice.

00:14:56.020 He's celebrating the country at some nice flag waving events. And as Peter McCaffrey here points out from

00:15:02.580 the Alberta Institute, as mayor, Nenshi tried to cancel Canada Day. He canceled almost all Calgary's

00:15:08.700 activities and only agreed to fireworks if they would not be a celebration of Canada. He made them

00:15:14.260 start with a minute of silence to, quote, understand we've got some terrible things in our past as Canada.

00:15:20.940 Yeah. This is also why Nenshi's not popular in Alberta. The man is a metropolitan scold. This is what...

00:15:29.060 Actually, I'm in the middle of trying to watch a terrible CBC Netflix show, North of North, which is

00:15:34.440 like this weird version of like combining quarter gas and parks and rec, and it takes place in none of

00:15:40.560 it. These peoples... And this is a problem in the show. Everyone's insufferably metropolitan.

00:15:46.500 Nahid Nenshi is insufferably metropolitan. And all of his views and opinions are so geared towards

00:15:52.900 gaining the support of people in downtown Edmonton, Calgary. I don't mean within the city limits or,

00:15:58.580 you know, past the suburbs. I mean, like downtown, like there's four blocks in Calgary and Edmonton

00:16:06.060 that Nenshi cares about. If you are outside that area, he probably thinks you're just an idiot. 1.00

00:16:10.780 And this is why the Alberta NDP is rightfully falling apart right now, because it is a party 1.00

00:16:15.440 that doesn't care about working class people anymore, doesn't care about the financial system,

00:16:19.620 doesn't care about oil and gas. One of their big things is trying to stop coal mining. Yeah,

00:16:23.740 that's a great thing to run on, guys. That's not going to make sure that all your working class 1.00

00:16:27.260 voters don't want to vote for you. Ending coal. Ending all coal excavation, even if we don't use

00:16:32.040 it. It's stupid. And I'm happy that people were calling him out yesterday because he does not 1.00

00:16:38.080 deserve to just suddenly start being patriotic again when the man has been absolutely anti-patriotic

00:16:43.800 in the past. And he never apologized for it. If he apologizes, maybe. Maybe I won't hammer on him

00:16:49.860 like this anymore. But he actually has to issue the apology first, which I know is probably

00:16:55.180 impossible for Nakhid Nenshi. The man is allergic to accountability. Anyways, so that should be it

00:17:02.080 for this video, guys.
