00:00:00.640 Canada, we have a problem with our police force.
00:00:03.240 And the problem is they would much rather bully law-abiding citizens than stand up to
00:00:08.040 the misbehaving mob.
00:00:10.120 Our personal example, yesterday, October 29th, there was an event for Cyrus the Great.
00:00:14.840 We were doing it at Queen's Park in front of the legislature with a permit.
00:00:18.480 And there was a mob of pro-Hamas, they waved Hamas flags, supporters descending upon us.
00:00:23.840 We had a permit to be there for three.
00:00:25.880 But around 2.35, 2.40, a new police officer shows up to the march, stormy-faced and angry,
00:00:32.600 looking around, clearly there to intimidate.
00:00:35.840 Instead of going to the police officers already there who had built a relationship with us
00:00:38.980 and talk to them to find out who the organizers are, who's this and who's that, and relay
00:00:44.900 the information he needed.
00:00:46.280 No!
00:00:47.280 He stormed right up to the podium and started making a nuisance in front of everyone, trying
00:00:51.800 to find organizers demanding things, looking mean, making it seem like some things were
00:00:55.880 doing something wrong.
00:00:58.020 But when you got to talk to him, he was just saying, there's a violent protest coming out.
00:01:01.580 You have to leave.
00:01:03.860 Do we have to leave?
00:01:05.280 We had a permit to be there.
00:01:06.280 We had every right to be there.
00:01:08.020 Now my interactions with the cops were when I said, do we have to leave?
00:01:12.020 Well, no.
00:01:13.020 Do we have the right to be here?
00:01:14.020 Yes, you have the right to be here.
00:01:15.020 Okay.
00:01:16.020 Then I'm going to stay here and you're going to protect me.
00:01:17.520 And I just did that and walked away.
00:01:19.020 I didn't give them a chance to do all this.
00:01:21.280 But to the other organizers, you hear in conversations that they were legitimately, this guy was making
00:01:26.600 the claim that we would be responsible if someone got hurt.
00:01:29.940 That's right.
00:01:30.940 If Jews and Iranians come together, not even for a protest, but to honor Cyrus the Great 0.93
00:01:36.120 and the contributions he gave to humanity and talk about how, through our shared history,
00:01:41.320 we can build a new, bright future of cooperation.
00:01:44.920 If we don't have the right to do that, and that would be at fault?
00:01:48.320 Because if a bunch of people waving Hamas flag see us and they attack us, it would be 0.99
00:01:52.900 our responsibility if we got hurt?
00:01:54.980 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:01:56.980 That's not how it works.
00:01:58.980 Primary responsibility would be on the ones attacking.
00:02:01.980 Secondary responsibility would be on the cops.
00:02:03.980 And I spoke to another cop who was more friendly, one that we'd built a relationship with, and
00:02:06.980 he said, listen, I don't want to be responsible if anyone gets hurt.
00:02:09.980 I said, listen, if you do your job and you stand with us, you're not responsible.
00:02:15.560 He's like, listen, there's only 20 of us and there's 4,000 of them, to which I said,
00:02:20.100 I don't care if there's 40,000 of them.
00:02:22.840 This is Canada, and I'm not running away from the legislature, which I have every right
00:02:26.560 to be it, to acquiesce to a mob of terrorist supporters.
00:02:31.020 It's not going to happen.
00:02:32.480 So they could either call more police, which they eventually did, or they could run away.
00:02:41.440 They could do whatever they wanted.
00:02:42.440 But as long as they stood with us, they wouldn't be responsible.
00:02:45.480 So I made that point clear.
00:02:46.720 And big shout out to Goldie Gamary, an elected official. 1.00
00:02:50.000 She made that point explicitly clear immediately as well.
00:02:52.820 So it was much easier for people to stand their ground, and one of the main reasons the cops
00:02:56.820 did come is because Goldie Gamary made it very clear that she wasn't going to run away 0.72
00:03:01.160 from the mob either.
00:03:02.220 So big obstacle to Goldie Gamary for grabbing a giant lion and sun flag and standing her 1.00
00:03:06.720 ground with the rest of the communities standing there.
00:03:10.720 So that needs to be noted.
00:03:12.620 Also shout out, I talked about Michael Parsa, a member of the provincial cabinet.
00:03:18.620 He, Mr. Parsa, did deal with the cops and let the event go on, and he did the...
00:03:24.900 So I don't know what the conversations were between him and the police, but more police ended
00:03:28.560 up showing up and eventually coming to protect us.
00:03:32.220 But the problem was, the very cops knew that it was easier to bully the Jews and the Iranians
00:03:39.480 and the law-abiding Canadian citizens, because we had the Canadian flags, Israeli flags, line
00:03:43.720 and sun flags, than it was to try and stop the mob of angry Hamas supporters.
00:03:50.720 They knew that.
00:03:51.720 So they chose the path of least resistance, not the path of what is right, to mitigate harm
00:03:56.780 and safety.
00:03:57.980 But we explained to them, listen, if we run away from the legislature and let them dance
00:04:03.600 in the legislature and say, look, we moved the Jews and Iranians off the legislature and 0.60
00:04:08.320 defeated Cyrus the Great, and this is a great victory for Palestine. 0.97
00:04:14.300 Every time there's a Jewish or Iranian or any pro-democracy rally, the Palestinian supporters 1.00
00:04:21.540 are going to come in and descend upon them and move them out.
00:04:25.960 Every single time.
00:04:26.960 If you capitulate to evil, it gets stronger.
00:04:29.480 So, because we said we're not running away, and a lot of us stayed.
00:04:34.140 Now, I'll say the majority of people left right after 3 p.m. because the cops scared
00:04:39.200 them, and they went around menacing the Jews and the Iranians and being very scary and threatening 0.97
00:04:44.600 them with responsibility if anything went down.
00:04:46.640 So, a lot left, but a bunch of us stayed, and we stayed to the end to stand face-to-face
00:04:51.320 or face-to-face, but our rights to stand in the legislature and be there and not give
00:04:56.100 it to the mob who had waved Hamas flags, allegedly assaulted a Sun reporter, and who
00:05:03.180 knows what they're chanting?
00:05:04.180 Well, you know what they're chanting.
00:05:06.220 So this is the point.
00:05:07.880 Cops.
00:05:08.880 You have a duty to protect the country, and you have to stand up for our values and principles.
00:05:13.540 When law-abiding citizens are doing things within the confounds of the law, and there's
00:05:18.120 a mob doing something illegal, your job is to protect the law-abiding citizens from the
00:05:23.160 mob.
00:05:24.160 That's your job.
00:05:25.500 You can't do it?
00:05:27.880 Don't be a cop.
00:05:29.380 And Jews and Iranians and anyone else protesting for your rights, don't be intimidated by the
00:05:34.300 police officers.
00:05:35.780 The number one priority is to do the easiest thing possible, which is bully you, because 0.97
00:05:41.220 they know you're more reasonable than the lunatics. 0.72
00:05:44.100 You can't let yourself be bullied. 0.91
00:05:46.120 Because if you let yourself be bullied, you see it.
00:05:48.260 What are they offering Jews in universities?
00:05:51.020 We have attics for you to hide in, Jews. 1.00
00:05:53.420 We're not going to stand up to the mob.
00:05:54.760 We're going to let them rampage, but we'll give you a nice attic to hide in.
00:05:58.420 Isn't that nice?
00:06:00.260 No.
00:06:01.980 I know it's scary.
00:06:03.280 It's going to take some courage.
00:06:04.580 But you have to stand your ground and let the police know that you're going to stand
00:06:08.760 your ground.
00:06:09.760 And if you go down, it's their job to go down beside you.
00:06:13.120 And then if you make it very clear, hopefully they will call in reinforcements.
00:06:17.160 And just like it happened, the police were forced to do their job.
00:06:19.920 And rank and file, the police did do their job.
00:06:22.180 They diverted the Palestinian mob down Collette Street, wouldn't let them come to the legislature.
00:06:27.640 And there, job was done, but it was only done by the courage of the people who stood there,
00:06:36.040 the members of parliament who helped liaise this.
00:06:39.580 And big shout out again to Goldie Gamere for kind of leading the vanguard in this one. 0.98
00:06:44.220 So that is worth mentioning.
00:06:46.600 Again, cops, your job is to protect Canadian, American, your country's values.
00:06:53.640 Not just scare Jews and make them run away so your day is a little bit easier. 0.75
00:06:56.880 And handle it, quit. 0.99
