00:00:13.220 be. Because let's be very clear, the things that Mark Carney and the Liberals ran on during the
00:00:18.260 election have not come to fruition. And it's not unfair for me to say that now. He's been Prime
00:00:24.860 Minister for over 165 days or whatever the number is. And I'm not expecting Mark Carney to get tons
00:00:31.660 and tons of stuff done this early into his government's life. But it's obvious that they
00:00:37.860 should have probably been, you know, starting down the road of doing certain things. They should have
00:00:42.240 been announcing certain major projects they want to tackle. They should have been able to actually
00:00:46.780 shore up confidence in Canada's economy to not have $60 billion flood into mostly the US with a $92
00:00:54.360 billion deficit. Everything they said about his business acumen has been entirely false. You know,
00:01:00.380 they would celebrate Carney for sounding intelligent and using the word catalyze every few seconds, but
00:01:05.460 he's not catalyzing a lot in Canada right now other than debt and failure. So I want to talk a little
00:01:12.000 bit about some things that the Liberal Party has been posting online in recent days. And then we're going
00:01:17.280 to move on to our favorite human paint shaker, that being Laura Babcock, yelling about how
00:01:23.820 conservatives criticizing Mark Carney and the Liberals is actually a sign that the Liberals are doing a
00:01:29.560 fantastic job. But before we get into it, guys, I just want to remind you, hey, if you like the

00:02:07.360 There's not been any updates in anything that they've been promising. And that is actually worth
00:02:12.720 talking about. So the Liberals here say, building a strong, more united Canada, their little muscular
00:02:19.880 arm emoji right there. And this quote from Carney reads, together, we will build one Canadian economy
00:02:26.220 connected by major projects, powered by Canadian energy, transformed by Canadian technology and
00:02:31.980 crafted by Canadian workers. Okay, except for the fact that we keep bringing in TFWs to fill every
00:02:38.760 single job imaginable. I'm going to get a little bit into that a bit later, just all of the sorts
00:02:43.820 of positions that are currently being taken by temporary foreign workers, that nobody in their
00:02:48.440 right mind ever assumed would be allowed to be given to a temporary foreign worker. In general,
00:02:53.300 a lot of these like fast food type jobs shouldn't be given to TFWs, because that's an entry level job for
00:02:58.580 kids leaving high school or who are, you know, wanting something to do in the summer between grades 10,
00:03:04.040 11 or 11 and 12. And we have people flying in from other countries and being subsidized by the
00:03:09.660 government to work in these roles. But then you even have like manager positions being taken,
00:03:15.100 the career jobs for people that do not require special skills, nor does it require to flying
00:03:21.480 someone in from Amitsur to do it. But now let's get into or we're going to get to Lord Babcock in a
00:03:29.040 second here. I actually want to go to a liberal MP Ryan Turnbull first. But the fact that we are 165
00:03:35.800 plus days into this government, and we are still on just the platitudes, like, like phase, we're just
00:03:43.740 still just talking about how we want to build things strong, you know, not weak, not like all the other
00:03:49.660 countries in the world building things weak, we're going to do it the unique way by building it strong.
00:03:54.440 It's like have something to announce. And that's why I want to jump over to what Ryan Turnbull
00:04:01.180 had said recently, because it's so obvious, there's nothing to say, the government's not achieving
00:04:07.260 anything. And so they're having to turn things that are not really achievements into achievements.
00:04:13.940 So Ryan Turnbull here, who is the to remind myself, all these people are so unsubstantial,
00:04:20.940 you almost for you forget everything about them. I think he's like the what is it spawning up here
00:04:25.620 the window, the minister of finance minute, the the parliamentary secretary to the minister of
00:04:33.080 finance and national revenue. And he says right here with his little rocket ship emoji, Prime Minister
00:04:39.760 Mark, Prime Minister Carney launches the major projects office to fast track key projects like sports,
00:04:45.680 railways and energy grids. Our new government will streamline approval, saving time and billions
00:04:51.700 in investments and help build a stronger, more connected Canada projects that benefit our economy,
00:04:59.040 environment and indigenous communities will move forward faster within two years. Now notice what
00:05:04.760 he says there projects that benefit our economy, environment and indigenous communities will move forward
00:05:11.540 faster. Now, I would actually say pretty much any project would do those things, more efficient energy
00:05:18.120 projects will always make the environment better, it will benefit the country as well as First Nations.
00:05:24.020 But they don't mean it in the way that you know, normal people mean it that if you put more natural gas
00:05:29.240 projects through it makes it puts more efficient energy into the world market. And that's great for both us,
00:05:35.680 as well as the environment and indigenous people, they mean it from the perspective that from a green
00:05:41.140 activist perspective, from a reconciliation industry activist perspective, it has to be beneficial to
00:05:47.140 those two things. And so that means no projects ever going to get approved without having to jump
00:05:52.420 through all the hoops that the major projects act is pretending like it's trying to speed up. We're not
00:05:59.300 speeding up anything, we are speeding up aspects of projects that were not the slow part to begin with.
00:06:04.260 The slow part was indigenous consultation and environmental overviews and inspections and like having to do
00:06:10.740 extra town halls in order to be able to approve something because we need like everyone and their dog
00:06:16.500 to say yes before we can actually fast track the thing, which means it's not really fast tracking.
00:06:22.180 But yeah, we're just announcing that we have a office opening that might fast track stuff.
00:06:28.580 This is not an accomplishment that you should be announcing this late into the game. This is
00:06:32.900 the first 30 days sort of thing to announce. You know, no one's expecting you to get a lot done yet,
00:06:39.460 but hey, we have an office set up and we're taking it seriously. You can't say that like a half a year
00:06:44.900 later saying we're going to attempt to take it seriously. This should be obvious. But anyways, now we are going
00:06:52.500 to get to Laura Babcock here, who again is, again, she's tiring, but I do find her entertaining in a lot
00:07:02.100 of ways. But this is, she is very much the id of a lot of liberal voters. Not anyone who's ever cast a
00:07:10.260 ballot for the liberals. I mean the hardcore true and on liberals who think that conservatives are evil
00:07:15.380 because they once heard it on the news. And Laura Babcock represents their perspective perfectly.
00:07:20.980 And I truly kind of admire her ability to say dumb things, thinking that it's like a great gotcha,
00:07:29.620 that hey, you think that Carney's doing a bad job? Well, because you think Carney's doing a bad job,
00:07:34.500 that actually means he's doing a good job. But I will let Laura Babcock say her piece here. Again,
00:07:42.420 whoever's been withholding Laura Babcock's lithium from her, please show yourself and get her back on
00:07:47.700 her medication. But for now, we do have to point one out. The new narrative from Polyev and the
00:07:53.380 Canadian MAGA party is that Carney is accomplishing nothing. This is what they're trying. The stronger
00:07:59.780 Carney is for Canada, the worse rhetoric we are seeing out of Pierre Polyev. I have never seen a
00:08:05.380 leader of the opposition denigrate the country. What was sad to see to me after the by-election with
00:08:11.940 Mr. Polyev regained a seat in the House of Commons is that he did not learn how to pivot over the
00:08:16.340 summer. That his message of Canada is broken is really just so completely tone deaf at a time when
00:08:21.220 Canada is feeling very united. What do they mean very united? Like, I guess, rhetorically,
00:08:27.220 a lot of Canadians are feeling a bit more patriotic, but we're not like in better shape. And it is right
00:08:33.140 for Polyev as the opposition leader to oppose the government's agenda that is, in fact, not good for
00:08:39.380 the country. Will it maybe be better than what Justin Trudeau was doing? Sure. And I think that's
00:08:44.660 where a lot of liberals are going to try and get away with the idea that Carney's doing a good job
00:08:49.460 because we're doing better than we were under Justin Trudeau. But pretty much anyone would have
00:08:53.780 done better than Trudeau because at least Trudeau had like the ego and pride reason to not want to
00:08:58.420 reverse himself, where even though Mark Carney was his economic advisor and helped, you know,
00:09:03.140 contribute heavily to all the economic failures that Trudeau brought us, you know, Carney wasn't
00:09:08.020 the one personally, like as the face of those failures. So he can kind of pivot around it a bit.
00:09:13.460 But so far, he hasn't done anything. And these people getting absolutely exercised about the fact
00:09:20.180 that the opposition has been to the opposition's job is very telling about what they expect from media.
00:09:26.180 This is why they don't like independent media. They don't like anyone who's going to be critical
00:09:30.180 of their favorite party. You should have people critical of your favorite party. I don't mind
00:09:35.220 when people criticize the conservatives. I criticize the conservatives from from time to time. I don't
00:09:40.740 do it obsessively because, you know, anyone can nitpick. Generally, I agree with their stances.
00:09:46.260 I would always say to avoid any creator who's only going to tell you good things about the conservatives.
00:09:50.500 But the fact that she is, like, physically shaking over the fact that conservatives do,
00:09:55.700 in fact, criticize the liberals for, in fact, not getting things done. And she turns this into,
00:10:00.660 actually, this means they're doing a great job. Well, it's a it's a heads,
00:10:04.340 I win, tails, you lose scenario that if there's no criticisms, well, they're doing a great job.
00:10:08.580 No one has anything to say. And if you do criticize them, not only does that mean they're doing a great job,
00:10:13.540 but Polyev, he should have learned his lesson and he should change his tone and get on side with
00:10:19.060 elbows up because it proves he's actually a bad person to have any issue with what Canada's doing
00:10:23.860 wrong. But I just need to listen to Laura Babcock's part again. The new narrative from Polyev and the

00:10:41.300 it has no connection to the $92 billion deficit, the $60 billion in capital flight,
00:10:48.180 the lack of a budget yet, the, like the recognition of a Palestinian terror state that
00:10:54.260 the government's now having to walk back because ended up making us look really stupid on the world
00:10:58.820 stage. And the Hamas activists are still attacking the government anyways, because they're horrible
00:11:02.820 people. We have Parks Canada banning Sean Foyt from being able to have concerts. We have the
00:11:09.220 government just, and like across the board, has been hurting its credibility on trade,
00:11:15.060 on foreign policy. Our fiscal house is not in order. We have no replacement for the parliamentary
00:11:21.060 budget officer who is about to be out of a job on the 1st of September. And no major projects have been
00:11:28.100 put out. And also we have, and I want to get to these stats now, we have so many positions that are being
00:11:34.900 currently exploited for TFW labor. Here, check out this chart. These are temporary foreign worker
00:11:42.980 positions in these different areas of work. Restaurant and food service management. In 2015,
00:11:51.140 there was 145 people approved as TFW workers in that category for restaurant and food service managers.
00:11:59.060 In 2024, 910. Food service supervisors started in 2015 with 755 people approved for that position.
00:12:07.540 Currently in 2024, 7,405. It's, these are, these sometimes are either career jobs, people who went to
00:12:15.940 business school and they're in hospitality. This is the type of job they would be taking, a restaurant manager.
00:12:22.020 And we have these different people, like some, maybe some jobs in some areas could be filled in the service
00:12:28.260 industry by TFWs. I think everyone knows it's been abused. And people like Laura Babcock will not
00:12:35.140 actually consider any of these failures because it doesn't affect their lives. They're, they're not
00:12:38.900 having their jobs stolen. And you're just an idiot if you take issue with this. Who could imagine why
00:12:44.340 the liberals over time have been on a downward trajectory. Now they won the last election, barely,
00:12:51.060 because of the issue of Donald Trump and frankly, the conservative advisors going so
00:12:56.180 mild into that election, only kind of repeating the same talking points about, and it wasn't because
00:13:02.180 they were negative that they ended up having Canadians leave them. I think it's because the,
00:13:06.180 the rhetorical line that conservatives were on got a bit stale. That was more of the problem.
00:13:11.700 But posts like this is why people have found the liberals over time to be the party of screeching
00:13:19.620 downtown urban voters completely disconnected from the rest of the country. Read this.
00:13:28.900 He's responding to Nate Erskine Smith, a liberal MP restarting his weekly podcast or biweekly podcast,
00:13:35.700 whatever it is. This person says, start tackling the rise of US Christian nationalism in our parliament.
00:13:42.420 96% of the CPC MPs are sponsored by US evangelical orgs, Patriot Mobile, Liberty University, Coalition of
00:13:50.820 Life, National Prayer, NRA, etc. It needs to be addressed ASAP. Stopping religious money equals
00:13:57.380 stopping the right wing. Now, I don't think I need to tell you that's not true. Do you think American
00:14:05.620 brands, American third party advertiser groups are putting money into Canadian elections and behind
00:14:11.140 Canadian politicians? They're not. That would be highly illegal. But these people can truly convince
00:14:16.900 themselves of anything because they watch so much media who ends up pumping up fear about fascism and
00:14:24.580 the far right that they will be willing to lie to themselves. Because I'm going to be honest in saying
00:14:30.900 that this guy probably was never told anything like that. There's probably no source he's ever read that
00:14:35.860 said that. He feels like it's right. So he goes around saying it. That's the problem. And
00:14:40.900 there that can happen on the right, too. There are people who they will see a few breadcrumbs and
00:14:45.300 they'll be like, oh, my goodness, this is liberal corruption. That's not helpful. But there are a lot
00:14:50.260 more people I find on the left these days who no matter what a conservative does, they know it's evil
00:14:55.780 right away. It could even be something that the liberals also do, but they know the conservatives doing
00:15:00.420 it as evil. And then you wonder why you're losing younger people. Maybe having these people like
00:15:08.260 liberals in their 50s screeching about nothing on social media all day is not doing very well for
00:15:14.020 their youth vote. And by the way, the only reason, again, the liberals won was because of the Trump
00:15:18.740 issue. And as we've seen through the polling, that one is hitting the floor in terms of its relevance in
00:15:24.100 Canada. Eventually, people will just want the party that's going to do a better job on the economy,
00:15:28.580 and you're not going to be able to stop them from voting conservative next time,
00:15:31.620 because you can't really perform the same trick twice. But anyways, that should be it for this
