00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here. Remember Jagmeet Singh? Remember that crazy dude? I believe he was like the federal leader of the NDP, if I'm recalling correctly. It's hard to remember because he is so irrelevant.
00:00:16.580 In fact, he was irrelevant even when he was the NDP leader because he never stood up to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, which meant that there was no point in voting for the NDP. And that's why the party went from like, I think, 24 seats down to seven. Because if all you exist to do is prop up the liberals, why not just vote liberal?
00:00:37.680 Even when Mark Carney became the Prime Minister, all Jagmeet Singh did, even at the time when he was pretending like he was going to get tough, he just groveled to Carney trying to prevent the election from being called early so he could hold on and be leader for a few more months.
00:00:53.180 Because all Jagmeet really cared about was getting to be the leader. Getting to be the guy that the media sometimes has to interview and take seriously because he is the leader of a major Canadian political party, even though it was getting absolutely pounded into the pavement by Jagmeet's lack of spine.
00:01:10.080 Well, that guy, for some reason, is trying to chirp conservative party leader Pierre Polyev and making an absolute clown of himself.
00:01:20.660 He's actually been on a bit of a clowning tour recently. Not only does nobody really care what he's doing, every time he pops up, if you kind of take a look at it, you're like, oh, wow, that's not a good look.
00:01:32.380 So I want to go through a little bit of this stuff with you guys today. But first, I just want to remind you, hey, if you like the National Telegraph channel, make sure to leave a like on this video, subscribe if you are not yet a subscriber, and leave a comment on what you think about Jagmeet Singh.
00:01:50.040 You probably don't even have to leave a comment. It's not going to be anything good.
00:01:53.420 But I want to first cut over to this video of Pierre Polyev talking, I believe he was at a parking lot in Calgary, talking about the EV mandate, talking about why, you know, we need to scrap the EV mandate.
00:02:07.100 This is the thing that Jagmeet Singh attempted to respond to. And I think that it was a good video in general. So we'll just watch all the way through it.
00:02:14.320 Hello, everyone, from Calgary, Alberta, where it's stampede time, and I'm reconnecting with a lot of old friends in my hometown.
00:02:21.940 A lot of people who still drive gas-powered cars, something the Liberal government wants to ban.
00:02:28.220 I just finished a tour of many amazing Alberta communities from Drumheller, Hannah, Denalda, Killam, Statler, and many more, where distances are long and weather is often very cold, which means that an electric car is simply not practical.
00:02:46.960 You need a truck, obviously, to do a lot of the work that farmers and oil and gas workers do.
00:02:53.000 And that work is essential to the existence of our country. We need that work to go on.
00:02:58.580 But Mark Carney and the Liberals plan to ban that work effectively by banning your gas and diesel-powered vehicle.
00:03:07.860 So next year, they say that 20% of all the vehicles on the lot at the dealership have to be electric, rising to 100% by 2035, less than a decade from now.
00:03:18.920 This is going to be a massive cost increase and a massive convenience decrease.
00:03:23.880 It is going to be a major hit at the quality of life of our people.
00:03:27.020 It will shut down many of our automotive jobs in central Canada.
00:03:31.100 It is another Liberal disaster.
00:03:32.940 And that is why Conservatives are leading the charge to fight against the Liberal ban on your gas-powered vehicle.
00:03:40.520 We want you to have total freedom of choice, lower prices.
00:03:45.540 We want to put you back in the driver's seat.
00:03:48.020 If you agree, sign on the dotted line and join the cause.
00:03:51.580 So I thought it was actually a really good video.
00:03:53.560 And before I actually move on to what Jagmeet attempted to say about this,
00:03:56.720 I wish Pierre Polly would start doing way more videos like that.
00:03:59.980 The old-style walk-and-talk videos where whether it's him filming himself or having someone else film him just talking,
00:04:06.660 he needs to do way more of that.
00:04:08.500 Because during the federal election, that seemed to have gone away.
00:04:11.800 And this is why going into Pierre Polly's leadership review in Calgary in January got to fire Jenny Byrne.
00:04:19.040 She was a terrible national director of the campaign.
00:04:23.560 And I think that, I think Polly, if he wants people to not vote no against him, and I'd vote yes for him.
00:04:29.720 But if he wants people to not vote no, he has to clean house of all these people who convinced him to basically be boring during the federal campaign
00:04:36.140 or stymied other local campaigns that were trying to win in swing ridings or were kicking out people from nominations and installing bad candidates.
00:04:44.820 But that's just my little thing on that.
00:04:46.300 But let's get over to what Jagmeet Singh tried to say about this.
00:04:51.840 It is the most baffling attack angle that he tried to make on Pollyev.
00:04:57.800 So this is in direct response to Pollyev.
00:05:00.600 He quote tweeted Pollyev's video on the EV mandate.
00:05:03.420 And he said, the Rolls-Royce revolutionary is coming for your EVs.
00:05:10.360 And apparently he's a Rolls-Royce revolutionary because he was participating in a parade and was riding in the back of someone's Rolls-Royce who, I guarantee, is some local who was wanting to say,
00:05:20.540 hey, do you want to be in the parade and sit in the back of my car?
00:05:24.360 Why would Jagmeet try and say this?
00:05:26.160 I'm not even going to go and find the tweets that were, like, people made on their own.
00:05:34.000 I just want to go find the tweets that people had made about, like, I just want to show you what people were already dumping into the comments right after he said this.
00:05:45.840 This person says, oh, FFS, it's a car used for parades.
00:05:50.320 On the other hand, you seem to own a few gas guzzlers yourself.
00:05:53.780 Because people went after the fact that he was, like, driven to Parliament in a Maserati.
00:05:59.400 He owns, like, a BMW or whatever.
00:06:02.420 You just keep going through it.
00:06:03.820 And he's, like, the people were just clowning on him all day long.
00:06:07.380 It's like he assumed that he could turn it around on Pollyev by pointing out a car that he owns.
00:06:12.120 Like, everyone, Jagmeet is such a poser.
00:06:16.800 He is a hipster poser who loves luxury.
00:06:20.600 Even when you see him riding a bicycle, it is for the aesthetic luxury of being a fashionable dude downtown Burnaby who rides a bike.
00:06:30.340 Or he's riding a Maserati when he wants to look super flashy when he shows up to Parliament.
00:06:34.940 Or he's, like, you're driving all these other nice cars.
00:06:37.700 He's such a hack.
00:06:39.580 And also the thing is, he's a spineless hack.
00:06:42.060 I'm not just talking about the Trudeau stuff when he always capitulated to Trudeau as NDP leader.
00:06:48.180 I want to bring up something else that happened after he stopped being the NDP leader.
00:06:52.760 Because it shows that it's not just when it comes to politics.
00:06:55.740 He was risk-averse.
00:06:56.760 It's just his style.
00:06:58.140 You know, he wanted to keep the Conservatives out.
00:07:00.200 No, he's just a coward.
00:07:02.700 Look at this.
00:07:04.860 You remember this?
00:07:05.680 You know, I'm not much of a rap guy.
00:07:15.700 I'm not sure if you can tell.
00:07:17.300 I listen to, like, ragtime music.
00:07:19.740 I listen to, like, weirdo 60s.
00:07:23.480 I listen to, like, Winchester Cathedral.
00:07:25.700 I like that song.
00:07:26.600 It's fun.
00:07:27.580 I'm not a rap guy.
00:07:28.740 But even I know Drake is a joke, especially after Kendrick Lamar ripped him to shreds when they had, like, a back-and-forth rap battle.
00:07:38.980 Like, some people, they kept, like, attack each other in their songs.
00:07:42.580 Jagmeet Singh went to a Kendrick Lamar event and was, like, shouting it out on social media.
00:07:48.600 And then you had Drake attack him, and then he immediately, like, folded and, like, apologized and said,
00:07:58.560 no, it's always going to be Drake over Kendrick because I'm from Toronto or whatever, the GTA, and I'm always, you know,
00:08:04.240 I'm always going to rep Drake over Kendrick.
00:08:06.820 You're so pathetic.
00:08:08.320 You clearly don't like him.
00:08:09.780 But a celebrity calls out him for liking somebody else, and Jagmeet Singh has to apologize.
00:08:15.060 He is the most, I don't like using this kind of language because it's a little bit, it's too social media-y for me most of the time,
00:08:24.160 but it is irrelevant here.
00:08:26.440 Jagmeet Singh is the most beta man I have ever seen in politics.
00:08:30.460 He is so subservient to anyone who demands he be.
00:08:35.040 Polyev should have probably just started demanding that Jagmeet Singh do what he wants
00:08:39.100 because apparently there was a good chance he would have started doing it.
00:08:41.800 I don't even know how this guy ever became leader.
00:08:46.840 How did he get three elections as the NDP leader?
00:08:49.860 They got rid of Tom Mulcair for, like, what was actually a general overperformance for the NDP in 2015,
00:08:55.720 but it was just an underperformance compared to what Jack Layton had set the standard of.
00:09:00.680 Jagmeet Singh underperformed Thomas Mulcair in three elections, and it was only after the third one.
00:09:06.680 They finally got the strength together to say maybe he shouldn't be the leader.
00:09:10.780 Maybe the incompetent champagne socialist, Calistani supporter shouldn't be the guy leading a party
00:09:18.360 that was actually always a bit more working class and blue collar.
00:09:22.440 But anyways, so, actually I'm going to cover the NDP leadership coming soon.
00:09:26.340 Like, the people that are running for the NDP leadership don't inspire confidence.
00:09:32.140 If anything, it's the best thing that ever happened to the Liberal Party.
00:09:35.100 The NDP can't find anyone to run who would make them look good.
00:09:39.000 One of the guys is this Yves Engels person who is, when I say he's, like, anti-Semitic,
00:09:44.340 I don't mean, like, he said something bad about Israel.
00:09:46.940 I mean, he's like, we need to start targeting Jewish neighborhoods in Canada
00:09:50.620 because they support Israel too much, like, openly wanting to target Jews.
00:09:55.100 He is basically like Yosef Goebbels plus Pol Pot.
00:09:59.320 He is literally in favor of degrowth.
00:10:01.660 That is part of his platform to degrow the economy, to shrink the economy.
00:10:07.080 The man, again, is like the anti-Semitic Khmer Rouge.
00:10:12.460 And this is who the NDP has running in their leadership.
00:10:15.280 Now, maybe they don't let him in, although that party is so bankrupt.
00:10:18.020 I actually think there's a good chance they let the guy run
00:10:20.440 just so they can take in the money that he has to pay in order to enter the race,
00:10:23.940 which I think their threshold is, like, $100,000.
00:10:26.800 But this party is, like, millions in debt at this point.
00:10:29.740 I'm not sure if they can recover.
00:10:31.640 But anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:10:35.160 Make sure to like the video, subscribe, leave a comment, do all that great stuff,
00:10:38.640 and I will see you guys all later.
