Jagmeet Singh has been on a bit of a clowning tour lately. Not only does nobody care what he's doing, but nobody even seems to care that he's making a fool out of himself. So why should they vote for him?
00:00:00.000Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here. Remember Jagmeet Singh? Remember that crazy dude? I believe he was like the federal leader of the NDP, if I'm recalling correctly. It's hard to remember because he is so irrelevant.
00:00:16.580In fact, he was irrelevant even when he was the NDP leader because he never stood up to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, which meant that there was no point in voting for the NDP. And that's why the party went from like, I think, 24 seats down to seven. Because if all you exist to do is prop up the liberals, why not just vote liberal?
00:00:37.680Even when Mark Carney became the Prime Minister, all Jagmeet Singh did, even at the time when he was pretending like he was going to get tough, he just groveled to Carney trying to prevent the election from being called early so he could hold on and be leader for a few more months.
00:00:53.180Because all Jagmeet really cared about was getting to be the leader. Getting to be the guy that the media sometimes has to interview and take seriously because he is the leader of a major Canadian political party, even though it was getting absolutely pounded into the pavement by Jagmeet's lack of spine.
00:01:10.080Well, that guy, for some reason, is trying to chirp conservative party leader Pierre Polyev and making an absolute clown of himself.
00:01:20.660He's actually been on a bit of a clowning tour recently. Not only does nobody really care what he's doing, every time he pops up, if you kind of take a look at it, you're like, oh, wow, that's not a good look.
00:01:32.380So I want to go through a little bit of this stuff with you guys today. But first, I just want to remind you, hey, if you like the National Telegraph channel, make sure to leave a like on this video, subscribe if you are not yet a subscriber, and leave a comment on what you think about Jagmeet Singh.
00:01:50.040You probably don't even have to leave a comment. It's not going to be anything good.
00:01:53.420But I want to first cut over to this video of Pierre Polyev talking, I believe he was at a parking lot in Calgary, talking about the EV mandate, talking about why, you know, we need to scrap the EV mandate.
00:02:07.100This is the thing that Jagmeet Singh attempted to respond to. And I think that it was a good video in general. So we'll just watch all the way through it.
00:02:14.320Hello, everyone, from Calgary, Alberta, where it's stampede time, and I'm reconnecting with a lot of old friends in my hometown.
00:02:21.940A lot of people who still drive gas-powered cars, something the Liberal government wants to ban.
00:02:28.220I just finished a tour of many amazing Alberta communities from Drumheller, Hannah, Denalda, Killam, Statler, and many more, where distances are long and weather is often very cold, which means that an electric car is simply not practical.
00:02:46.960You need a truck, obviously, to do a lot of the work that farmers and oil and gas workers do.
00:02:53.000And that work is essential to the existence of our country. We need that work to go on.
00:02:58.580But Mark Carney and the Liberals plan to ban that work effectively by banning your gas and diesel-powered vehicle.
00:03:07.860So next year, they say that 20% of all the vehicles on the lot at the dealership have to be electric, rising to 100% by 2035, less than a decade from now.
00:03:18.920This is going to be a massive cost increase and a massive convenience decrease.
00:03:23.880It is going to be a major hit at the quality of life of our people.
00:03:27.020It will shut down many of our automotive jobs in central Canada.
00:04:08.500Because during the federal election, that seemed to have gone away.
00:04:11.800And this is why going into Pierre Polly's leadership review in Calgary in January got to fire Jenny Byrne.
00:04:19.040She was a terrible national director of the campaign.
00:04:23.560And I think that, I think Polly, if he wants people to not vote no against him, and I'd vote yes for him.
00:04:29.720But if he wants people to not vote no, he has to clean house of all these people who convinced him to basically be boring during the federal campaign
00:04:36.140or stymied other local campaigns that were trying to win in swing ridings or were kicking out people from nominations and installing bad candidates.
00:04:44.820But that's just my little thing on that.
00:04:46.300But let's get over to what Jagmeet Singh tried to say about this.
00:04:51.840It is the most baffling attack angle that he tried to make on Pollyev.
00:04:57.800So this is in direct response to Pollyev.
00:05:00.600He quote tweeted Pollyev's video on the EV mandate.
00:05:03.420And he said, the Rolls-Royce revolutionary is coming for your EVs.
00:05:10.360And apparently he's a Rolls-Royce revolutionary because he was participating in a parade and was riding in the back of someone's Rolls-Royce who, I guarantee, is some local who was wanting to say,
00:05:20.540hey, do you want to be in the parade and sit in the back of my car?
00:05:26.160I'm not even going to go and find the tweets that were, like, people made on their own.
00:05:34.000I just want to go find the tweets that people had made about, like, I just want to show you what people were already dumping into the comments right after he said this.
00:05:45.840This person says, oh, FFS, it's a car used for parades.
00:05:50.320On the other hand, you seem to own a few gas guzzlers yourself.
00:05:53.780Because people went after the fact that he was, like, driven to Parliament in a Maserati.
