The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Jagmeet Singh cries at union members for supporting Conservatives

00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here. I had this very strange piece of news slide by my feed yesterday,

00:00:07.220 and I needed to show you guys it because of how truly silly it is. So, federal NDP leader Jagmeet

00:00:14.280 Singh is very upset that private union members like the conservatives more than the NDP.

00:00:20.500 The NDP's only remaining base of strength is public sector union employees, but those who work for

00:00:26.260 private companies and in the private sector like the conservatives way more than the socialist NDP.

00:00:33.040 And Augustino Domenico, who I know, posted this photo of a DM between a union member and Jagmeet

00:00:39.860 Singh where Singh starts whining at him for his support of the conservatives. And so, you can

00:00:45.980 see right here, you can go give Augustino a follow if you want. And he says, breaking Jagmeet sliding

00:00:51.580 into the DMs like a union rep at a picket line. That in reference to how many union bosses and

00:00:57.460 enforcers are big bullies who basically try and push people into voting for left-wing parties,

00:01:03.260 even as those parties undermine their interests. So, this person was sending Jagmeet Singh some

00:01:08.480 stuff regarding him being upset with things that were going on inside the government that the NDP 0.97

00:01:13.540 were basically, I guess, technically fighting for, but some stupid labor policies that the liberals had 0.99

00:01:20.480 put forward. And to what this person was saying to Jagmeet Singh, he says, where was your buddy, 0.95

00:01:25.560 Pierre? Didn't hear a squeak out of that rat. Justin and the liberals let down workers yet again. 0.82

00:01:32.000 Pierre on the con said nothing. We were the only ones showed up to support the workers, bud.

00:01:37.340 And it's like, and it says, why not answer any of our questions? Because obviously, Jagmeet Singh has

00:01:42.260 been dodging many private sector union employees' questions about how they attack industries.

00:01:48.780 They're against oil and gas. They support the carbon tax. They support high taxes. All this

00:01:53.760 sort of stuff. There is a big rift between people who work in public sector unions paid directly by

00:01:59.120 the government and those who work in private sector unions where unions have been made mandatory in

00:02:05.020 certain industries or in certain companies. And those employees have noticed over time that

00:02:10.380 government control regulations and taxes are actually very bad for their quality of life.

00:02:15.940 On the other hand, if you're a public sector employee, because you work for the government

00:02:20.700 and the government doesn't do many useful things, you can get away with getting paid large sums of

00:02:26.100 money for not doing a lot of work. No doubt there are some very productive public sector unionized

00:02:32.340 employees. We all understand that. But with the 40 to 50 percent growth in public sector employees in

00:02:39.520 the provincial and federal governments, I think we can all understand that this hasn't been

00:02:44.140 mostly useful. It has been mostly a make-work program. Mark my words, if the NDP were ever able to form

00:02:51.620 the federal government, like I don't know why they ever would. Nobody likes Jagmeet Singh and nobody likes

00:02:56.940 the NDP. Even with their best leader ever, Jack Layton, they were still way behind the conservatives who won

00:03:03.200 a majority in 2011. But if the NDP were ever to get in, I guarantee they would try and double public sector

00:03:09.480 employees, because that's the only way they can secure voters. If people work for the government,

00:03:14.080 it's way easier to convince them that they should vote for the NDP, who are always going to cave to

00:03:19.800 higher wages that unions demand, you know, lighter workloads, more time off, all that sort of thing. 0.67

00:03:26.980 But that was a truly silly thing Jagmeet Singh did. But how about let's talk about another one,

00:03:32.460 because he has a year-end video out now begging for money that I find quite funny. So Jagmeet Singh is

00:03:40.160 pretending like he is the big bulwark against pure Polyev. I don't know why he has convinced himself that 0.99

00:03:46.660 he's somehow the main opponent to Polyev, although technically he could come second place in terms of

00:03:52.660 seats, not for any merit of his own, but just since the conservatives are going to win so many seats from

00:03:57.740 the liberals, that if the NDP simply gain like five or ten seats, they might beat out the Bloc Québécois

00:04:03.960 for second place. In theory, the liberals could come in fourth place. But before we get into this video,

00:04:09.120 I just want to remind you guys, hey, if you like this channel, and you're not a subscriber, go and

00:04:13.960 hit the subscribe button. I have a bet with my friends that if I don't get to 100,000 subscribers

00:04:19.380 by December of 2025, whenever we meet up, I have to buy them all dinner. And if I win, they only have to

00:04:26.200 buy me dinner. So this whole bet is really just me trying to put the fear into myself to grow the

00:04:30.780 channel. But hopefully, you guys will subscribe and help me complete this impossible challenge.

00:04:36.400 But other than that, also like the video, leave comments, I always try and scroll through them,

00:04:40.360 answer some people, but also just take in whatever you guys' thoughts are, you know, to influence how

00:04:44.980 I do things in the future. Anyways, here is Jagmeet Singh's post that he made just three hours ago.

00:04:50.820 He says, I'm ready to fight to stop pure Polyev before his callous cuts hurt middle class families. 1.00

00:04:55.420 I don't back down. I don't give up. Okay, sorry. It's really funny hearing Jagmeet Singh saying,

00:05:01.040 I don't back down. I don't give up. How many times has he backed down to Justin Trudeau? How many times

00:05:07.780 has he given up on pushing something in opposition to Trudeau? It happens frequently. I would argue it's

00:05:14.880 his like main character trait that Jagmeet Singh is a coward. There is a reason why, if you haven't seen 0.86

00:05:22.160 it, Jagmeet Singh's nickname online is Sellout Singh. It's because he's not a particularly,

00:05:29.400 you know, stalwart person behind his beliefs. He's also just very inconsistent. Sometimes Justin

00:05:35.640 Trudeau will give Jagmeet Singh in theory exactly what he wants. And Jagmeet Singh like a month later

00:05:40.840 will still say, Justin Trudeau hasn't done anything that workers want, blah, blah, blah. It's like,

00:05:45.960 well, did you not make him do some of that stuff? So either you're admitting that whatever you got

00:05:51.860 from Trudeau that you celebrated a month ago was false, or that with all the power to make Justin

00:05:57.960 Trudeau do something for working people, you actually got him to do something that didn't help

00:06:02.680 them. And your time in government has been mostly useless. But I will let Jagmeet Singh make the case for 0.96

00:06:09.820 in front of this very strange setting. I'm not sure if he's actually filming this in real life,

00:06:14.480 where it's like a green screen, but it's just looks uncanny. It's like some terrible insert shot

00:06:19.280 in a B movie. But let's make let's let him make the case for why he's the main opponent of pure

00:06:25.120 poly of the Canadian dream is a good job that gets your home and a fridge full of groceries with enough

00:06:31.400 left over to save for vacations, a country where we take care of our neighbors, and healthcare is there

00:06:37.300 as soon as you need it. But Justin Trudeau and his government keep letting people down. And there's

00:06:43.560 another threat to the middle class. Pierre Polyev and the conservatives will take from you to give

00:06:49.320 more to CEOs. It's favors and giveaways for billionaires while they cut healthcare.

00:06:56.800 What does he mean by giveaways? You mean reducing taxes? You mean the money that the businesses and

00:07:03.920 wealthy Canadians have to give to the government every year that they might have to give less? Yeah,

00:07:08.100 that's a giveaway to wealthy billionaires. I also just don't like his framing that Canadian dream is

00:07:12.880 a good paying job that can fill your like your fridge with groceries, you have enough left over

00:07:17.440 to go on vacation and you have a home. It's like, the funny thing is that nowhere in this does he

00:07:22.100 mention family, because the NDP is such a progressive basket case that they don't consider the Canadian

00:07:28.000 dream to like have your own family, you know, have kids send them off to good schools and whatnot.

00:07:33.240 But it's just like the most socialistic materialist worldview of you have a grocery with like a lot

00:07:40.240 of like, I don't know, like vegan options in it or something like that, whatever the NDP dream is,

00:07:47.120 it's just stuff. You just have stuff, not like building your own business, having a family, you know,

00:07:52.660 being community contributors. It's I have stuff in the fridge. That's the funny thing. Then there's

00:07:57.380 nothing wrong with a full fridge, you should have that you should be able to get a house for yourself,

00:08:01.420 you should be able to go on vacation. But the funny thing is the NDP's vision is not very visiony,

00:08:08.260 if I could say that it's very bare bones basics, just like survival. And it's like, guys,

00:08:16.200 also your own policies will make that less likely because you've been helping run the government

00:08:21.260 with Trudeau for not just two years when you signed the agreement, the supply and confidence

00:08:25.480 agreement that's supposedly ripped up now, they were also propping them up for years before that too,

00:08:29.700 like since 2019. How is it that with all of you guys passing more programs, people are worse off,

00:08:36.420 their incomes are lower. It's, you know, just asking for a friend, housing and pensions. I got

00:08:43.780 into health care, housing and pensions. I got into politics to fight for people. It's why I fought for

00:08:50.580 dental care. Even when Justin Trudeau said no, it's why I won't let Pierre Polyev cut your health care

00:08:56.820 or let Donald Trump take your job. I how how is Donald Trump taking anyone's jobs? How are have

00:09:03.180 when we're conservatives ever proposing to cut health care? That's literally never happened. By

00:09:07.360 the way, in provinces where the NDP are in charge of health care, like in British Columbia, it's not

00:09:13.880 so good. Since the NDP, the BC NDP won a reelection in this last October, about 50% of ERs have had to

00:09:21.880 shut down. So are you going to do for Canada what David Eby has been doing for British Columbia?

00:09:28.160 If you are like, man, you're like an actual existential threat to the country.

00:09:32.420 Don't back down. I don't give up. I'm always ready to fight. Stand with me this time. No matter who

00:09:38.000 you voted for in the past, together we can fix health care, build homes you can afford and lower

00:09:42.980 your bills with the government that works. How does he lower your bills by increasing taxes

00:09:48.000 and regulations? His idea of lowering bills is that, well, we're going to mandate that the bills

00:09:52.700 have to be lower and they will be lower. It's like, oh, okay. The supply of whatever product

00:09:57.680 that you've capped the price of is now going to dry up because what's the point of producing

00:10:03.640 something for literally no actual gain? It's for you for a change.

00:10:07.880 Text Jagmeet Singh. Guys, I hope you're all texting that right now. I know I am. Even if I don't,

00:10:15.620 I'm not holding a phone, but you know I am because of course I am. Yeah. He's so belabored. The NDP

00:10:21.820 is the sanctimonious party. It's the party for people who are better than you. Everything they do is just 0.89

00:10:29.020 so kind of pathetic. This was very pathetic. I just remembered that I should talk about this. 1.00

00:10:35.980 So Jagmeet Singh, because he is a publicity hound, I don't actually think that he is stalling the next

00:10:42.100 election because of his pension. He's already a wealthy man. He's a very wealthy man. I've heard

00:10:46.580 his net worth is above 5 million. And he doesn't even get his pension until he turns 65 and he's like

00:10:51.520 43, 44. I don't even know how old he is. He's not that old. He's really not doing it for the small

00:10:57.440 pension he gets after only six years in government. What Jagmeet Singh is drawing out this next election

00:11:02.980 for is he loves being on camera. He loves being on news shows. And he is somehow proud of being on

00:11:09.580 22 Minutes, which really demonstrates how much of a joke 22 Minutes is. It's not funny, but it itself

00:11:15.380 is a joke because it will have people like Jagmeet Singh on in what is really just like positive kind

00:11:22.680 of. It's not funny. If they're having Jagmeet Singh on, they're going to have some fake laughter.

00:11:27.440 And pretend like, oh, wow, well, that was such a great bit. That was such a great bit that we did

00:11:31.800 with the leader of the NDP. But it's really just going to be an infomercial for how great of a guy

00:11:36.420 Jagmeet Singh is. Remember when they did something for pure Polyev last time, and it was just some guy

00:11:41.680 running up to Polyev and basically calling him far right and wanting to crack down on the freedom of

00:11:46.520 journalists. They're not funny. They're sanctimonious and they're as sanctimonious as Jagmeet Singh is.

00:11:51.440 So Jagmeet Singh says, friends, catch me on 22 Minutes on December 31st. I got to show the tea

00:11:57.360 my favorite Brazilian jiu-jitsu gym in Ottawa. Here's some behind the scenes content from filming.

00:12:03.000 He's so much like Trudeau. He is basically just NDP Trudeau, which makes sense because I've said

00:12:10.800 that Tristan Trudeau is a very orange NDP style liberal leader, but he's so performative. Everything

00:12:18.000 of like Justin Trudeau likes to go skiing and he goes boxing and he tries to show you how tough he is.

00:12:23.700 And Jagmeet Singh needs to show you how cool and millennial he is. Oh, he drives, he rides a fixed

00:12:28.980 gear bike. Don't you know, he buys bespoke suits, but also don't look up how much everything he's

00:12:34.140 wearing is costing because that might undermine his whole Polyev as a bootlicker for billionaires 0.98

00:12:39.360 narrative. When Jagmeet Singh is not just a champagne socialist, that guy is like a 30 year old barrel

00:12:47.180 aged whiskey socialist. My goodness, that guy is like constantly flashing how much money he has

00:12:53.880 and how fashionable he is or how wanted he is by the media. This is not going to be a funny segment,

00:12:59.420 spoiler alert, because Jagmeet Singh is not a funny person in 22 Minutes isn't funny.

00:13:05.760 Well, that should be it for me today, guys. The good thing is the polls that have come out recently

00:13:10.640 show the NDP only at 17%, 18%, which is a severe underperformance for the NDP in a poll, because

00:13:18.000 usually, honestly, like the PPC and the Greens, the NDP tends to over poll but under deliver on

00:13:24.620 election day, because it's a party that puts up a lot of paper candidates, a lot of candidates and

00:13:29.160 writings that is not even attempting to win. So they just get a guy has, you know, 50 signatures or

00:13:33.820 whatever he needs. He's on the ballot, and then they let him, you know, and then he puts up like

00:13:37.700 three lawn signs, and that's it. That's what a lot of NDP candidates are. So if the NDP in a poll is

00:13:42.960 only at 17%, there's a chance they might only get 15% of the vote, because in the 21 election, they

00:13:48.760 could pull up to 22%, sometimes 23% of the vote, and they come in at 17%, 18%, because nobody likes

00:13:56.700 them. Nobody trusts them. They're just sanctimonious college campus socialists. Anyways, so that's it for

00:14:02.880 me today, guys. Remember to subscribe to the channel, like this video, leave a comment, do all that great

00:14:07.280 stuff. And I will see you guys in another video. Obviously, you know, I'm not going to see you in

00:14:11.800 the magazine.
