The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Leftist attack Canadian towns for rejecting Woke politics

00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here, and I have two stories for you today that I think perfectly

00:00:06.100 demonstrate why you can never give the woke left an inch. They're inherently authoritarian

00:00:11.680 and their ideas are supremacist. Any institutions they can get their hands on, they will dominate

00:00:17.420 100% and their ideas must be reflected in every single thing the institution does. So I'm going

00:00:24.080 to start off with this first story that's actually very reflective of my most popular video ever

00:00:29.300 about the town of Westlok, Alberta, deciding that they're going to go back to neutral crosswalks

00:00:34.720 and neutral flagpoles. You know, crosswalks are just white line crosswalks, not rainbow crosswalks,

00:00:39.820 and their flagpoles are just going to have, you know, the flag of the town, the province,

00:00:43.880 and the country, and maybe the Union Jack, and that's it. Now there is another town in Alberta

00:00:48.980 that's done the same thing, and the reaction of the woke left is demonstrating that you can never

00:00:54.160 please these people. Unless you are doing every single thing that they want, well, see, you're

00:00:59.860 actually now not an ally. You actually must hate gay and trans people. Well, maybe you're actually 1.00

00:01:07.200 a bigot. Maybe you're a fascist because you're not letting us dominate your institutions. And I want 0.94

00:01:13.240 to tell this story through the perspective of the NDP MLA for Edmonton Highlands Norwood, Janice Irwin,

00:01:20.640 who is an absolute political supremacist. Here is what she said about the town of Barhead making

00:01:28.240 these neutrality changes to, again, go back to white line crosswalks and neutral flagpoles. Not

00:01:34.440 we're going to go to Christian flagpoles and have crosses everywhere, and we're going to have Christian

00:01:39.460 crosswalks. Just neutral. Neutrality. That's not good enough for Janice Irwin here. She says,

00:01:44.860 damn, my hometown of Barhead has just passed a so-called neutrality bylaw that will remove the 0.99

00:01:51.700 rainbow crosswalk and ban various flags. No, no, it bans all flags that are not the city's flags 0.99

00:01:58.520 on city flagpoles. That aren't the city, province, country, and the Union Jack on city flagpoles,

00:02:03.920 public flagpoles. That's actually neutral. Anyways, but she finishes off this first post in the thread

00:02:09.600 saying, to Barhead's 2SLGBTQ plus community and allies, I'm so sorry. Know that you're not alone.

00:02:17.300 You are seen and you are loved. It is her actual position here, that you are not seen and loved

00:02:22.400 and tolerated unless there is a pride crosswalk, unless there is a pride flag perpetually flying

00:02:29.620 at City Hall. That's obviously absurd. But the thing is that Janice Irwin is an identity politics

00:02:35.740 supremacist. Her, like, favored identity groups must always be reflected in everything all the time. 0.99

00:02:43.000 Maybe Janice Irwin thinks that a white line crosswalk is about white people. I wouldn't put

00:02:47.620 it past her for being that obtuse. But she legitimately sees neutrality and not having,

00:02:53.600 like, basically dominion over little small aspects of society as being, like, anti-gay. It's

00:03:01.980 absolutely ridiculous to think this. Plus, this is a small town. You could say, well, it's just a 0.97

00:03:08.360 crosswalk. Small towns don't have the budget to be wasting money on nonsense all the time. Small

00:03:14.240 towns need to be paying for the police, you know, water, power. They need to be making sure that public

00:03:20.660 services are provided, that public transportation is there. This is, this is a, like, an offense to

00:03:26.280 taxpayers who constantly be spending money on virtue signaling nonsense. And she's about to undermine 0.95

00:03:31.620 her case right here. Because it's not like this is a well-known town who is constantly doing things

00:03:37.460 that are against the, like, the gay community or whatever. They, they used to literally do it.

00:03:42.720 Nothing's changed. They just thought it was kind of getting a bit much. She says in her follow-up post,

00:03:47.880 the first time I joined my hometown to paint the crosswalk was truly magical. I'm heartbroken for all

00:03:53.680 those who organized and encouraged the community to choose love. How are you heartbroken? They literally

00:03:59.200 did it. See, on the 5th of June 2022, we see Janice Irwin here painting the crosswalk for the, with pride

00:04:07.680 colors. So obviously the town is not against this stuff. They got tired of it. And then she follows

00:04:14.600 up here and she said, and when I came back to Barhead this summer again to paint, the joy and love was

00:04:19.660 incredible. I won't forget. And they're even doing a pride progress flag with the indigenous symbol in it

00:04:25.500 as well. So obviously the town didn't care. And they're like, oh, and this person commenting over

00:04:31.280 here, oh, I'm sorry. This is terrible for the community. How is it terrible for the community?

00:04:35.640 It's a neutrality law. They are going to have white line crosswalks. I'm so sorry to break it to you,

00:04:42.280 but you're going to have to walk on a normal crosswalk. Most crosswalks are normal crosswalks.

00:04:48.040 Well, but it shows community might not care about this community. What do we always have to have

00:04:54.320 things, symbolic things around to make sure that you think that everyone around you is not going to

00:04:58.940 start like to jump up and start like beating on you. If you think that you're probably in the wrong

00:05:03.760 town and really you're not in the wrong town. You're wrong for the town. If you have such low opinions

00:05:08.960 of your neighbors that them not affirming you at all times is considered a form of bigotry.

00:05:14.680 If anything, that makes you a bully. The worst form of a bully, a cry bully. And so, and this is so 0.98

00:05:21.820 typical for Janice Warren. Janice Irwin is absolutely drenched in identity politics. So many NDP 0.98

00:05:28.180 politicians, both provincially in Alberta, like Janice Irwin, as well as federally are, and also

00:05:33.480 include the federal liberals. They care more about who did the thing, what they are, than whether or not

00:05:39.500 what they did was actually bad. So the town has not done anything bad. They have not made

00:05:44.660 an offense against anyone, but they have failed to provide Janice Irwin's favorite community with

00:05:50.600 something which is like oppression, even though other people didn't get that and they didn't claim

00:05:55.540 oppression either. In the Westlock story, again, like the thing I made my most popular video on,

00:06:02.040 the, what I would just call, I guess, like the alphabet lobby, then showed up with like rainbow lawn signs

00:06:09.240 to like strew them across private lawns who wanted them in the town to protest the fact that they

00:06:15.040 weren't having the crosswalks and flags on public flagpoles anymore. Guys, you realize this is why

00:06:21.440 people don't like your lobbying and your activism, because you're nasty people, because you can't

00:06:27.480 leave it alone and leave people alone. You must always be there present in people's faces at all times.

00:06:33.600 And this is a tactic and it's deliberate because they're Marxists and they want to bully people

00:06:38.180 into agreeing with them on other stuff. And this identity thing is what they've been using for so

00:06:43.960 long as an insertion point. Well, you, if you don't hate me, you'll put up that flag. You'll paint the

00:06:49.540 crosswalk that way. And also you should probably agree with me on everything else too. Now let's jump over

00:06:55.300 to another story. This one is somehow even wilder. I might get the town's name wrong here, but they have,

00:07:02.720 if I can find it. I think I have it up here. I know where I get the link. But there's the town of, I

00:07:09.540 believe, I think it's Emo. I know that's, it sounds like, you know, Emo's the group of people. But there's

00:07:16.740 this town of Emo in Ontario, Northern Ontario, that just decided that they're not going to, you know, do a

00:07:23.080 pride parade this year. They weren't going to do a pride parade in 2024. And so they've now been fined by the

00:07:30.460 Ontario government. Doug Ford's Progressive Conservative Party's government has fined both

00:07:36.280 the town of Emo, Ontario. It's near Thunder Bay. And they personally fined the mayor. That's how crazy

00:07:42.520 this is. Thanks to you to Joe Warmington from, for like writing this, the story and covering this.

00:07:48.660 So it says, a Northern Ontario mayor who was fined for voting against flying a pride flag at his town

00:07:54.340 hall says he will not be bullied into paying the $5,000 penalty. Nor will Mayor Harold McQuaker be

00:08:00.160 taking LGBTQ training as he has been ordered to by the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. So this is

00:08:06.860 why we need to dismantle these stupid human rights tribunals, every single province. It's just about 0.99

00:08:12.920 nonsensical complaints from activists to bully normal people. And this is used against absolutely

00:08:18.760 everyone. If there was a mayor who was gay saying, we're just not doing the pride parade this year, 0.62

00:08:23.220 costs a lot of money. It's inherently political. Obviously it's political. It's about saying that 0.92

00:08:28.700 this identity group is super special. That person would probably be referred to the Human Rights

00:08:33.800 Tribunal and get convicted and pay $5,000 and get labeled a bigot. Even if they're literally from

00:08:38.740 the community, that's how absurd all this stuff is. These are not only a waste of money, it's basically

00:08:44.480 just government struggle sessions, but in this bureaucratic way that makes it feel professional.

00:08:49.240 It's not. It's a bunch of Marxists with too much power. So he says,

00:08:55.060 and McQuaker insisted he won't cave to demands that he must host a drag time story hour in the

00:09:01.320 local library either. Imagine that. There is forces coming from above that are trying to say that he

00:09:07.140 must host a drag time story hour in a local library. This is the mayor. This isn't like the librarian who

00:09:15.040 technically doesn't have power to decide everything the library does. And so they're refusing a direct

00:09:20.860 order. This is somebody who is the person who's supposed to be giving the orders, who a tribunal

00:09:25.700 saying, no, you must do it to prove your tolerance. So we are literally showing that woke politics,

00:09:31.760 this is what I meant from the start. These are supremacist politics. You must always celebrate all

00:09:36.740 of the time and also agree with all the other socialist stuff that the person wants to insert

00:09:41.860 as well into these conversations using their identity as the insertion point that you must do

00:09:46.720 it all or you will basically be like attacked and trying to be torn down. This is nuts. He's the mayor.

00:09:54.700 This town didn't want the stuff, but because a woke scold can file a complaint, that means that you are 0.98

00:10:00.440 now in trouble and you will be railroaded. This is sick. This is really twisted stuff. Never give

00:10:08.420 these people a single inch. And I am happy that that mayor is not. And I'm happy that the town of

00:10:13.780 Barhead has gotten rid of all the nonsense and just gone back to neutral crosswalks and flagpoles,

00:10:19.780 as well as the town of Westlock went back to neutral flags and crosswalks. Perfect. Good. Guess what?

00:10:26.700 A town is supposed to just function for its taxpayers, not function for specific taxpayers a

00:10:32.740 little bit more than everybody else. And that is what the virtue signaling, that is what the pride,

00:10:37.360 like the pride parades have become about proving that some people are a little more special than

00:10:41.680 everybody else. You can have a parade. You got to fund it yourself. This has to stop being a taxpayer

00:10:47.880 involved thing to constantly ballyhoo identity. And this is on everything. I don't want a Christian 1.00

00:10:54.180 parade. I don't want a like British national history parade. I just want whoever privately can

00:11:01.200 fund a parade can have one. A Canada Day parade is fine with me. Maybe a Christmas parade. Even that,

00:11:06.440 I don't exactly need it. Let's stop with constantly needing certain people's politics raised above

00:11:12.700 everyone else's. And if you don't like it, that's bigotry. Again, Janice Irwin, going back to her

00:11:18.780 thread, she's not saying that, well, they're not putting up bigoted flags. They're putting up

00:11:23.160 Nazi flags in the town. No, it's just the Canadian flag. There's just not a pride flag next to it now.

00:11:29.880 Well, that's pretty big. How is it? How is it bigoted at all? It is literally neutrality. It is pure

00:11:35.060 neutrality. That's what I commented back to her. It is literally a neutrality law. And she puts it in

00:11:40.140 quotes like it's a so-called neutrality law. What is her definition of neutrality if this is not

00:11:46.780 neutral? Again, it's the whole stupid animal farm bit about, you know, we're all, you know, 0.99

00:11:54.380 we're all equal, but some of us are a little bit more equal than others. 0.98

00:11:58.480 Anyways, that's it for me today, guys. That was insane stories. I hope that the mayor of Emo Ontario

00:12:05.220 is able to get through this because this is an absolute woke struggle session attack. And the only

00:12:10.900 way you lose is by giving in. I think if he fights this in court, he'll probably get the fines

00:12:16.680 overturned. And if he doesn't, then he should keep fighting it in higher and higher courts.

00:12:21.540 That's nuts. Anyways, if you guys want to support the show, you can always donate to the Give,

00:12:25.820 Send, Go legal fund. I have both in the description below as well as pinned at the top of the comments.

00:12:30.840 Make sure to subscribe, make sure to like this video, and, you know, watch out for my next video.

00:12:36.000 I don't even know ever how to end these videos. I just kind of scuff it at the end every time.

00:12:39.780 I just kind of blurt out a bunch of words, plug a few things, and then eventually I hit the end

00:12:44.180 recording button, like I'm about to do. See you guys later.
