The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Liberal Minister embarrasses himself trying to grandstand

00:00:00.000 We are at that very special point in the death spiral of Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party where

00:00:05.620 you don't even need to go on social media anymore to a conservative account or conservative activist

00:00:10.820 account to find funny videos of Liberal MPs embarrassing themselves. You can just go to

00:00:16.420 the Liberal MPs' own accounts, find the clips that they edited, and make fun of them with those

00:00:22.080 things. They don't have anything to actually market themselves to Canadians with, and so they

00:00:27.020 just post clips of them having these really petty tiffs with conservative MPs that they started

00:00:32.880 because they don't want to answer any questions, and they're going to pretend to be all high and

00:00:37.960 mighty and superior to these conservative MPs trying to do their jobs. But this is a clip that

00:00:43.340 Sean Frazier, our current housing minister and failed former immigration minister, posted to his own

00:00:49.320 ex-account, and I do not think that this makes him look very good. It just makes him look very whiny

00:00:55.760 and petty. This is a study about the housing needs of Indigenous communities across this country.

00:01:00.580 It has been a few minutes, and the Conservatives are now resorting to reading questions off their

00:01:04.400 phone, off topic, because they feel like they can't have a serious conversation about this issue.

00:01:10.540 Let's be very clear. The context of the questions they're asking were housing. He has not answered

00:01:17.340 any questions, any serious questions, about the failed housing program the Liberals have been running,

00:01:22.700 and now he wants to come into this meeting where they're talking specifically about housing in

00:01:26.840 Indigenous communities. And when the Conservatives rightfully want to ask the questions that he has

00:01:32.340 not been answering over the past several months, he wants to get all smug and superior and get into

00:01:37.060 this petty tiff where, like, oh, well, it's been a few minutes, and now they don't want to talk about

00:01:41.040 Indigenous housing. I guess they don't care about Indigenous people or something. No, you're bad at your job, 1.00

00:01:46.460 and they need to find any opportunity they can get in order to ask the serious questions that you keep

00:01:51.960 dodging, but he wants to pretend like, oh, look at the Conservatives reading things off their phones.

00:01:56.880 You're bad at your job. How about you shut up and answer some questions, rather than pretending like 0.92

00:02:01.920 you're getting one over on the Conservatives by pointing out that they're using a tactic.

00:02:05.760 This happens in politics a lot, where people think it's a great little comms win to point out that

00:02:12.160 your opponent's doing something. But the Conservatives are doing the right thing. They're

00:02:16.500 trying to hold your feet to the fire for being a terrible housing minister, and then you're going

00:02:21.300 to try and look at the technicality that will technically, we're here to talk about Indigenous

00:02:25.180 housing, and you guys want to ask me off-topic questions from your phone. Who cares? They are in

00:02:31.660 the housing committee asking you questions about housing, and you're dodging, and you just uploaded

00:02:37.720 a two-and-a-half-minute clip onto your own social media account of you dodging.

00:02:42.160 There was years where you had the opportunity to make the investments and chose not to.

00:02:47.480 Mr. Chair, I'm being spoken over. Every time I make this argument, he talks over me.

00:02:50.980 If he's not going to answer the question, I'm not going to let him take my time, Chair.

00:02:53.460 Mr. Chair, do I have the floor?

00:02:54.340 Do you have the floor?

00:02:55.140 Thank you. Mr. Chair, with respect to my friend and colleague, he had many years as his party

00:03:01.120 in an office to make investments or not make investments.

00:03:04.320 Housing was cheaper. Housing was cheaper under Harper. What is Sean Frazier possibly talking about?

00:03:09.700 The idea that we're making the investments that conservatives wouldn't make. I hate it when

00:03:14.060 politicians say, well, we put the money in and they didn't. You only have to put the money in now

00:03:19.120 because you've broken people so much that they can't afford it themselves. This is basically the

00:03:24.260 metric that communists work off of to pretend that their ideology is more compassionate than

00:03:29.840 capitalism, even though in their governments, they run around shooting people in the back of the

00:03:34.940 head for disagreeing with them. But it's because they spend more money on the people.

00:03:39.740 Yet, capitalists, they aren't spending money on any poor people. That's because people aren't

00:03:43.700 poor in capitalism. But as the liberals move away from capitalism during their entire tenure in

00:03:48.960 government, we, turns out, need to assist people more with government benefits, housing benefits,

00:03:54.280 and investments in these communities because people don't have their own money anymore because

00:03:58.520 the liberals have taxed it away, regulated it away, or found some other scheme that made it so that

00:04:03.760 our economy has shriveled up under Trudeau's leadership. I just want to get this back on

00:04:10.160 screen. I'll let Sean Frazier finish just to be respectful here.

00:04:15.100 This housing, they chose not to. Now he has an opportunity to ask questions about it, and instead

00:04:20.060 he's looking at his phone to ask questions he's reading from the leader's office rather than actually

00:04:24.860 engaging on the issue of housing in indigenous communities. It's inappropriate. He says we have 1.00

00:04:30.100 no plan. And again, he's talking over, he's very uncomfortable with this argument.

00:04:33.840 Oh my goodness. It's so, it's so cheesy. He just needs a handlebar,

00:04:38.080 Russ Jeffs, to make this even cheesier. He's uncomfortable by the topic because he doesn't

00:04:42.940 want to talk about it. No, you don't answer questions. That's why he's asking you. And the idea

00:04:48.800 that he's like trying to, he's trying to have this weird, like, I don't even know what to call it,

00:04:53.020 like, goodwill hunting moment. He's trying to have this kind of, like, smug, superior type moment

00:04:59.000 where he's going to show that actually I'm the serious adult and it's all these partisan hacks

00:05:03.220 in the room who won't let me have my time to make a statement in favor of indigenous housing.

00:05:08.660 Indigenous people are poorer since Justin Trudeau took office. So I don't know what Sean Frazier's

00:05:12.700 trying to, like, brag about. As immigration minister, he was warned by his own deputy minister

00:05:17.740 that the crazy high mass immigration rate was hurting Canadian workers, was making it impossible 1.00

00:05:23.280 to own a home, and he did it anyways. But now he's here to tell the conservatives that,

00:05:27.940 did you know that we're actually, we're talking about indigenous housing in this committee,

00:05:31.660 if you haven't noticed. Like, Sean, shut up. You're like a more boring version of Justin Trudeau. 0.99

00:05:38.400 This acting, this play acting is not working at all.

00:05:42.060 Well, he says we have no plan. Mr. Chair, do I have the floor? I want to reclaim my time.

00:05:46.900 Mr. Chair, do I have the floor? Do I have the floor? This is not answering my question. He doesn't

00:05:51.660 get to run the fuck out. Mr. Chair, sorry, there's been no point of order. Do I have the floor? 0.99

00:05:55.500 You do have the floor. Thank you. I have respected my colleague while he was speaking. I would

00:06:00.160 appreciate if he would return the professional courtesy. He suggested we don't have a plan. We

00:06:04.520 literally published a plan in April of this year. He may think it's foreign because the plan that he

00:06:10.340 put forward as a party has no measures in it that will actually build more homes.

00:06:15.120 Well, he might think that a liberal plan is foreign because of all the foreign interference

00:06:18.700 that the liberals allow for. But why is this a good moment? Because again, Sean Frazier,

00:06:24.440 he's not rolling out all of his achievements. He's not rolling out his achievements on social media,

00:06:29.200 telling you how many more houses were built this year than last year, because the amount of new

00:06:33.940 houses being started is going down. The affordability of housing has sunk through the floor.

00:06:39.520 Housing is completely unaffordable because of the mass immigration that he approved of. Now Mark 1.00

00:06:44.540 Miller, our current even crappier immigration minister, is increasing and now trying to give

00:06:49.620 amnesty to people who overstayed their temporary foreign worker visas and student visas, and they should 0.94

00:06:54.920 be rightfully not allowed to stay because that is committing a crime to knowingly stay in the country

00:07:00.140 past when you were supposed to leave. But the fact that this is what he has to hang his hat on.

00:07:06.020 Oh, I got the chair to give me back my time. Oh, I got the chair to yield to me,

00:07:11.100 the liberal chair to yield to me instead of my conservative colleague, my conservative opponent.

00:07:16.040 If this is considered a win to you, Sean, dude, like you might as well, like you must cheer for

00:07:21.780 the Toronto Maple Leafs because that is like, he sees losing as winning. I don't know why or who

00:07:29.260 this appeals to. Who's watching this thing? Like what a great bit, what a great little shtick

00:07:34.040 Sean Frazier just did there. Like, I want to see what his, surprisingly, he has a good like to

00:07:40.600 dislike ratio. But honestly, it's probably because so few people have seen this clip that it's only

00:07:45.580 liberal party activists and bots liking it. I don't even know what to say. Like, that's all I

00:07:51.440 can say really is just look at that video. Does that appeal to you? Does this seem like a winning

00:07:55.840 government? Or does it seem like a government who can only get technical wins? Like, oh, I got my time

00:08:00.520 back from the chair. Ooh, I get to, I get to point out the conservative had his phone up.

00:08:06.140 They're beating you by 20 points. I want to see Sean Frazier's riding right now. Oh, sorry,

00:08:10.800 voice crack right there. I need to see how, if this guy had a chance of winning. If he does, I've lost,

00:08:16.640 I've lost faith in this country because Sean Frazier is boring Trudeau. He is somehow a dumber 1.00

00:08:23.360 version of Justin Trudeau. And oh my goodness, please don't be somebody who can still win. 0.99

00:08:28.660 Don't do this to me. Oh my goodness. He's said so many, he has said so many positions. It's

00:08:35.020 embarrassing how many positions they've given this guy. You can tell they want to turn him into like

00:08:39.200 the second coming of Justin Trudeau if Justin Trudeau decides to not run again. But if you've

00:08:43.960 seen the approval ratings of Sean Frazier, it's embarrassing that they keep building him up and

00:08:48.880 giving him screen time. And either people don't know who he is or think he's an idiot. 1.00

00:08:52.600 So Central Nova, this is the 338 projections. Yay. They are projecting the conservatives to win 1.00

00:09:00.480 49% of this riding with Sean Frazier only getting 32% of the vote. It is a more than 99% chance

00:09:06.940 of the conservatives winning back this riding. This used to be Peter McKay's riding. So I guess

00:09:11.560 this was to be expected, but I'm going to end the video off on that good news. Just quickly mentioning

00:09:17.340 the fact that I, Wyatt Claypool, am running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.

00:09:22.840 I'm still waiting to get the official lists. And it's been a bit annoying seeing my opponent,

00:09:27.200 Jeremy Nixon, have the list for more than a week and a half now, but we'll make do making videos in

00:09:32.100 the meantime. So if you live in this riding, there's 4,800 members who live in this area. I assume a

00:09:37.620 lot of you have seen my channel or watch my channel. So if you're a member, a federal Conservative

00:09:42.360 Party member in the riding of Signal Hill, please vote for me number one on your ballot. Vote for Michael Kim

00:09:47.480 number two. He's also a decent pick and I'll probably roll out a full list of who I'd vote

00:09:51.900 for if I was not in the race. And then also you can donate to my legal fund linked in the

00:09:58.220 description below. Just the Give, Send, Go link. We have a Chinese billionaire developer

00:10:02.120 suing us for defamation. And after this case has been ongoing for more than two and a half

00:10:06.520 years, he's not only not submitted any evidence that would show defamation, he's even had to

00:10:11.760 pay us $1,800 at one point during the case because he wasn't submitting anything. He did

00:10:16.780 eventually submit evidence, but it was like his LinkedIn profile and like the original libel notice

00:10:21.540 he sent, nothing that actually contained any evidence in it at all. He's just throwing paperwork

00:10:25.560 at us, hopefully trying to hurt us enough that we would apologize to him. But at the National

00:10:30.180 Telegraph, we don't apologize to people for complete nonsense. And so we've been fighting it out in court.

00:10:35.120 He assumed that I was 22 at the time this lawsuit started. He could bully me into giving him a fake

00:10:39.800 apology. But despite the fact our guest writer didn't even say anything bad about him directly,

00:10:45.180 we just linked to a long investigation about him. That was enough to try and sue us and bully us

00:10:49.760 into giving him an apology so he can pretend anything ever negative said about him is completely false

00:10:55.360 and defamatory when it's not at all. He was just suing the person he thought had the least amount of

00:10:59.640 money to defend themselves. But we pulled through anyways. Thank you for everyone who's donated so far.

00:11:05.020 The TMT Telegram channel link is also in the description below. And I'll see you guys all next time.
