The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Liberal MP labeled ＂pathetic Twitter troll＂ by MP Michael Cooper

00:00:00.500 Liberal MP for Kingston and the Islands, Mark Gerritsen, has not been having a good week.

00:00:06.760 And I am absolutely here for it. If anyone in Parliament has deserved to have a bad week and

00:00:12.860 weren't allowed to vote for Justin Trudeau, it's definitely Mark Gerritsen. He's been a political

00:00:18.580 bully for years, and he is finally getting what he deserves. At the start of this week,

00:00:23.900 he had to apologize and pay $1,000 to a food bank for spreading defamatory disinformation against

00:00:31.180 Cat Canada and the counter signal, pretending that Katrina is only engaging with him on social media

00:00:37.200 because she's being paid by the Russians. What was this smear based on? Literally nothing. It is the

00:00:43.660 most fringe connection you've ever seen on the planet. But Mark Gerritsen doesn't engage in

00:00:48.960 logical argumentation, so he just smears every single person that opposes him as being evil,

00:00:55.660 hateful, full of misinformation, when that's literally who he is. And now we have Conservative

00:01:02.100 MPs mocking Mark Gerritsen not only on social media for having to deliver this apology, 0.94

00:01:07.700 but in Parliament itself, calling him a pathetic Twitter troll, which I think is quite brilliant. 0.62

00:01:13.800 This was delivered by one of my favorite MPs, Michael Cooper. 0.97

00:01:18.080 Speaker, the Liberal member for Kingston of the Islands and pathetic Twitter troll has admitted 0.91

00:01:23.820 guilt to spreading disinformation. This disinformation was part of a dirty and deliberate 0.98

00:01:29.660 attempt to smear the reputation of a fellow Canadian to change the channel on the absolute

00:01:36.040 rot and corruption that defines nine years of this Liberal government. Only when legal action was

00:01:42.100 taken and the member was exposed for spreading this vile disinformation did he fall to his knees,

00:01:47.820 and apologize. Everyone knows that the apology is fake. The members' actions are part of a broader

00:01:55.160 campaign of smears and deception by a rotten, corrupt government willing to do and say anything

00:02:01.340 to cling to power. The people of Kingston deserve so much better than that member, and Canadians

00:02:08.000 deserve so much better than nine years of this corrupt Liberal government.

00:02:11.080 Fantastic statement from Michael Cooper. I'd also recommend you all follow the Channel Canada info.

00:02:17.680 I think they did a good job posting this video clip while also adding the context of what the tweets

00:02:23.120 were. But now I want to move on to some other stuff that Mark Gerritsen has done. I kind of covered this

00:02:28.740 in another video, but it really exposes how fake the apology was for Mark Gerritsen. It's still posted.

00:02:35.340 It must be, I believe, pinned for at least a certain length of time, whether it be a week or a month,

00:02:40.540 so that everybody knows what Mark Gerritsen had to do in response to his defamatory actions.

00:02:46.920 But Mark Gerritsen, the same day he apologized, still stood back up and started going after the

00:02:53.280 Conservatives for supposedly being in league with the Russians. I'm going to get that on screen in just 0.96

00:02:57.560 a second here. By the way, make sure to like, share, and subscribe to this channel. I know a lot of

00:03:03.480 people watch these videos, but then they realize that they're not actually subscribed to me.

00:03:07.620 I just did a big equipment update, if you've noticed. I had a microphone die on me. I had to

00:03:12.780 run to Best Buy, so now I also have better on video because I end up buying a camera too, so I don't

00:03:18.620 always look completely washed out. But again, the same day Mark Gerritsen apologized, he also posted

00:03:24.720 this clip of him speaking in Parliament.

00:03:26.620 Mr. Speaker, earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Justice revealed that Russia is funneling money to

00:03:32.180 Conservative media figures to push a far-right propaganda. This is a clear threat to our

00:03:38.080 democracy and Canada's national security. And yet, the leader of the Conservative Party is directing

00:03:43.380 his MPs to block the Public Safety Committee's study on this real issue.

00:03:49.080 I'm not going to play the whole thing, but I'm basically just going to sum this up as a giant

00:03:54.400 witch hunt. What he wants to do, and the Liberal Party in general, is that they want to push through

00:04:00.160 an investigation through the Public Safety Committee, so they can go after every single

00:04:04.580 Conservative YouTuber, journalist, and investigate them, audit them, to see if they're paid by the

00:04:10.260 Russians. How many Canadians in Canada covering Canadian news are right now paid by the Russians?

00:04:16.820 Zero. The whole Cap Canada connection that he tried to draw to pretend that she was a Russian agent is that

00:04:23.700 she went on Lauren Southern's show. Lauren Southern tends to talk about Canada quite a bit.

00:04:28.220 Lauren Southern was being paid for all the stuff through Tenant Media, which was started by Lauren

00:04:32.920 Chen. Lauren Chen was knowingly taking money from people associated with Russia Today, a Russian

00:04:39.960 state-owned broadcaster. That's obviously bad. Lauren Southern didn't know that, and she was 0.98

00:04:44.980 basically just running the show she usually takes, but she was being paid through by Tenant Media.

00:04:50.600 But Tenant Media is an American organization. They mostly just cover American news, and now Lauren

00:04:55.340 Chen doesn't work, or Lauren Southern doesn't work for Tenant News and just does her own show again. 0.98

00:04:59.940 So we now literally have zero people who are even unknowingly taking money from the Russians,

00:05:05.720 but Mark Gerritsen wants to rip people through the committee to be investigated, to answer questions,

00:05:11.040 to create this narrative that the only reason the liberals are unpopular is because the Russians are

00:05:16.320 coming. The Russians are coming. That's why the liberals are doing bad in the polls. It's because of 1.00

00:05:22.320 Russian disinformation, don't you know? Even though when you actually look back at the liberal

00:05:27.440 government's actions on the world stage, they've been far more pro-Russia than the conservatives

00:05:32.140 were. The conservatives actually used to give lethal aid to Ukraine in terms of real weapons and

00:05:38.180 whatnot. The liberals got in, cut our actual weapons budget for the military, we sent winter coats to Syria

00:05:45.040 to a bunch of people being slaughtered by ISIS, ripped our jets out of there to not fight ISIS, 0.87

00:05:49.060 and we've since then been a complete cowardly country under the liberals' leadership. So Mark 0.82

00:05:54.920 Gerritsen, though, wants to go on this fishing expedition because maybe he can dig up something

00:05:59.720 to then smear a bunch of other conservatives with, and it's right for conservatives to block this.

00:06:04.220 You don't get to use the powers of government to go down rabbit holes of people that you think might

00:06:09.220 be up to something. But now I want to post another video of the liberals then responding to Michael

00:06:16.640 Cooper, because Michael Cooper got a lot of attention from that video of rightfully calling

00:06:21.340 out Mark Gerritsen. So then we have Jennifer O'Connell from the liberals trying to fire back at 0.98

00:06:25.880 him. I also recommend everyone follow Bruce McGonigal on Twitter. He also does a very good job of posting

00:06:31.560 clips from Parliament that are, you know, worth watching. Most things on Parliament Hill that are

00:06:37.140 happening, even in question period, are not even worth viewing. It's just the same stuff you see and hear

00:06:42.780 every single day. But here is Laura, here is McConnell going after Michael Cooper. 1.00

00:06:47.680 Thank you, Madam Speaker. Well, the member opposite brought up crime and chaos in the streets.

00:06:51.940 Let's talk about what the member of St. Albert Edmonton was doing in the Ottawa streets just this past

00:06:59.160 week. He was having cocktails and flirting with fascists who actually interrupted a Terry Fox memorial.

00:07:06.880 Madam Speaker, conservatives are spending more time with those who are flying Russian flags on

00:07:12.760 Parliament Hill than concerned about Canadian safety.

00:07:17.660 Because again, they have to spin this narrative. So someone else is talking there. So that they have to

00:07:23.820 spin this narrative that somehow the conservatives are in league with fascists and Russians because

00:07:28.620 Michael Cooper was invited out to grab a drink with some people who I guess were like protesting this

00:07:34.080 Terry Fox event. And if they were doing that, they're terrible people. That's awful. Don't do that. Don't fly

00:07:39.700 Russian flags. And I've seen some people in Ottawa doing that. It's just this hyper contrarian thing

00:07:44.540 where the liberals are pro-Ukraine. So I'm pro-Russia. If that's how you think about that

00:07:48.140 conflict, oh my goodness, please study foreign policy for a day. Just because a bad person like

00:07:54.260 Justin Trudeau backs Ukraine does not then mean that Russia must be the good guy. Maybe Eastern European

00:07:59.840 politics are not about the woke versus the anti-woke or the globalist versus the anti-globalist. It's a

00:08:05.840 completely different world where we cannot map those kind of politics onto it. But Michael Cooper,

00:08:11.060 what did he actually do here? He grabbed a drink with people who invited him out because they like

00:08:14.680 Michael Cooper. Okay. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything. By the way, aren't there like

00:08:20.460 11 MPs who are associated with foreign governments currently in Parliament right now that the liberals don't

00:08:26.720 want to expose? I know they keep going on the stupid line that here, Polyev won't get security 0.96

00:08:31.420 clearance to look at the information we have. But Polyev doesn't do that for a reason. Many of his 0.93

00:08:35.520 MPs have gotten the clearance to look at the information, but Polyev doesn't do it because if

00:08:39.880 he does it, he can never speak on the issue publicly. Even if something gets leaked out or

00:08:44.480 something gets investigated by a journalist and exposed, Polyev, if he knows that that's information

00:08:50.240 that was also mentioned in the dossier, can't say a word about it. And so the liberals are actually

00:08:55.300 trying to basically coax him in to shutting himself up by not being able to actually speak

00:09:00.200 on the issue. It's ridiculous. And so they want to keep going down this whole Russian rabbit hole 0.99

00:09:06.020 because it allows the liberals to excuse all their failures as not real failures, but just Russian 0.85

00:09:11.780 propaganda who are making all of their big achievements seem bad. All these Canadians are just 1.00

00:09:18.880 being deceived by the Russians. Guys, people can see what their bank accounts look like. They can see

00:09:24.160 the crime rates. They can see how weak you've been on foreign policy. And that is what's turning

00:09:29.320 Canadians off. No propaganda campaign has forced the liberals to suck at their jobs for nine straight 0.99

00:09:34.860 years. But maybe what do I know? Maybe I'm just a Russian asset, even though I literally donated 0.96

00:09:40.260 directly to Ukrainian military back in 22. Oh, but why it's still pro-Russia for some reason, even though

00:09:46.960 I've been very anti-Russia for a long time. It invaded my favorite country, Georgia, back in 2008. 0.81

00:09:53.000 By the way, everyone who wants to pretend, because there are some people out there, that Russia was

00:09:57.320 provoked into invading Ukraine. Why were they provoked into invading Russia, into Georgia? They

00:10:02.360 weren't. They would just want Georgia. They just want the territory because that's what Russia's done for 0.93

00:10:06.540 literally 600 straight years. Take over other people's territory. Anyways, that's it for me today,

00:10:12.040 guys. I'll see you later. Hopefully this audio and video quality upgrade is a worth it, has been worth

00:10:18.840 it for you, and you've noticed it. And if you have, you know, maybe donate to the legal fund. It helps me

00:10:24.240 reduce the cost of upgrading all this tech. It's all very annoying to have to do. But keep watching the

00:10:31.200 show, like, share, subscribe, recommend the show to your friends, and I'll see you guys next time.
