00:00:00.000 Hey guys, something really interesting to note right now with Prime Minister Mark Carney's
00:00:05.280 approval rating is he has far less room to screw up than Stephen Harper and Justin Trudeau did
00:00:11.820 before him. In the first three months of those men's leadership, they had approval ratings in
00:00:17.300 the low 60s. Right now, Mark Carney has an approval rating of 52%. That is not nearly as
00:00:24.700 much room to lose people over the next couple of years when Mark Carney may try and call another
00:00:30.340 election to win a majority. And so, if he doesn't get a trade deal signed on August 1st, there's going
00:00:37.560 to be a lot of liberal voters who are going to be upset and they're not going to care about the
00:00:41.480 excuses. They don't care that the liberals are going to say that the Americans were being too
00:00:46.200 obstinate and we couldn't get a deal signed because of that. You promised, as one of your flagship
00:00:51.360 election promises, that you are going to get a deal signed because you know how to deal with men
00:00:55.360 like Donald Trump. And so, if you don't get it done, well, what was the point of putting you into
00:00:59.900 office when we could have voted for anyone else? And right now, the liberals don't even have that
00:01:04.280 many great policy achievements. I know Bill C-5 promises to get infrastructure projects done,
00:01:09.300 but Mark Carney has already drilled a few holes in that boat, claiming that he's not going to bypass
00:01:14.520 indigenous consultation, which means that major infrastructure projects are still never going to
00:01:19.300 get approved because that was one of the main holdups. Mark Carney can say yes to projects,
00:01:24.660 but if he's saying, I'm saying yes, but those people are saying no, so he can't do it. Well,
00:01:29.020 then it's a no from him too. And so, if we don't get a trade deal signed and nothing else good happens
00:01:34.220 and we still have a $92 billion deficit or higher, well, what was really the point in giving the
00:01:40.340 liberals a fourth chance? And so, in that 52% of people who are approving, if he starts to even lose
00:01:46.040 just 4% or 5% of people, well, now he just looks like a mid-2018, mid-2019 Justin Trudeau. The
00:01:53.560 shine's already taken off and now he just has to hope to cobble together enough policy wins that
00:01:57.840 if there's another election held, he can at least hold on to the minority government.
