00:00:00.000 You guys don't need me to tell you that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's national polling
00:00:04.020 numbers are terrible, but what I want to do today is basically prove that all the people
00:00:09.140 saying that they're going to vote Liberal in 2025 are probably lying. Because when we
00:00:14.340 actually go through issue-based polls in terms of the performance of Justin Trudeau
00:00:18.740 on different areas of the economy, nobody thinks he's doing a good job. Like, there's
00:00:24.200 technically a few people saying so, but even those people are probably lying. Just check
00:00:29.400 out these results from Apicus data. 74% of people believe housing affordability and
00:00:34.900 accessibility will worsen for first-time buyers in 2024. There are only 1% saying it's very
00:00:41.620 affordable right now, and 4% saying relatively affordable for new home buyers. 74% of people
00:00:48.000 think Justin Trudeau has done a terrible job on that issue. And people can say, well, housing's
00:00:52.920 a local issue. It's also an immigration issue. And he has been spiking immigration for about
00:00:58.220 four or five years now, going over half a million people a year, not even counting the temporary
00:01:03.400 foreign workers and students. Here's another poll result. 57% are pessimistic about their
00:01:09.300 chances of buying a home or having given up entirely. Okay, that is insane. And only 19%,
00:01:15.220 frankly, fools, are still optimistic, first-time homebuyers, that they're ever going to actually
00:01:20.280 be able to own a home. Yeah, if you have a mortgage now and you were in it seven years ago,
00:01:25.700 you're probably going to own a home. But someone like myself, guaranteed I'm never going to be
00:01:30.600 doing anything but rent unless there is a lot of policy changes made and we restrict immigration.
00:01:36.900 Here is another poll result. 61% believe the government policy that economic stability is
00:01:42.500 unstable, causing concerns. Apicus worded that in a weird way, but basically the government's economic
00:01:48.680 policies and their policies to try and stabilize the economy have been a big failure. How many people
00:01:54.240 think that they've been doing a good job? 8%. That's very good job and somewhat good job.
00:01:59.860 8% of people think that they're doing any sort of sense of a good job. Here we have another poll
00:02:05.840 result. Economic recovery and growth prosperity. 65% believe economic recovery will be slow with
00:02:13.400 challenges ahead. Then there are 31% saying steady with cautious optimism. Basically, those people are
00:02:20.300 just blindly saying hope it gets better and only 4% are actually confident it's definitely going to
00:02:27.580 get better. Okay, here is the last one just to really round it out for the day. 69% believe inflation
00:02:35.640 and the cost of living will continue to increase in 2024 with only 7% thinking it's going to decrease
00:02:42.120 and 24% very optimistic nice people just saying it's going to stabilize at some point. No, it's not. It's going
00:02:51.060 to get worse. This is why Justin Trudeau is doing so badly. I know a lot of these polls are not entirely
00:02:56.660 negative, but the whole point is that there's nobody who's very sunny in terms of their disposition towards
00:03:02.040 how things are going to go in Canada in the next few years. And you're never going to get reelected as someone
00:03:09.280 like Justin Trudeau. If the best you can do is get people to think, well, it could be worse, because
00:03:15.020 that's what a lot of these sort of middle ground people are saying. They're not saying that the
00:03:18.360 liberals are knocking it out of the park. Obviously, there'd be a lot of people in the greens thinking
00:03:22.640 we're about to turn the corner and everything's not just going to stabilize or not get as bad. It's
00:03:27.980 going to get way better. Nobody believes that. About 7% to 8% of people, depending on the poll,
00:03:33.980 actually believe that. One of them was only 5%. So I think that the liberals' actual
00:03:38.960 floor right now for the voter count, because this is a typical result for them these days,
00:03:46.100 or that one was a little bit unfair for the liberals. Actually, no, it isn't. Never mind.
00:03:50.320 But the conservatives are ahead of the liberals 20% in this poll. But the liberals are usually
00:03:55.380 been hovering around that 23%, 22%, 24% area. And if you base it on, when you look at those
00:04:02.960 national results, through the lens of these specific issue-based results, you'll actually
00:04:09.360 get the impression that probably only about a third of liberal supporters are actually locked
00:04:14.060 in. And many of them are very much up for grabs. And depending on how the liberals perform
00:04:19.060 on the economy over the next six to eight months, things could get far worse for the liberals.
00:04:24.100 I'm thinking that the conservatives could even pop ahead anywhere from 25% to 30% ahead. It's
00:04:30.340 not unrealistic at this point. Anyways, that should be it for me today. I just quickly want
00:04:35.980 to plug the fact that I, Wyatt Claypool, am running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative
00:04:40.260 Party nomination. If you live on the west side of Calgary in this riding, these are what the new
00:04:44.780 riding boundaries will look like. Buy a membership. Check out my website in the description below,

00:04:54.220 we have the Give, Send, Go link in the description below. You can check out the reason why we have to
00:04:59.740 fundraise legally. Basically, billionaire developer suing us for a fake defamation case to try and hurt
00:05:05.380 us. He doesn't have any evidence we defamed him. He's just coming after us for doing good reporting.
00:05:10.260 Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys. Trying to keep the videos a little bit shorter
00:05:14.140 here and there. Have a good one.
