The carbon tax is a scam, but it's a scam the Liberals are using to make money off of the carbon tax. The carbon tax hurts everyone except a few fringe people, and the only people who are actually making money from it are the people who don't buy things. Why are people so stupid?

00:00:00.000 All right, Canada, it's everyone's favorite time of year. It's when the carbon tax goes up.
00:00:06.060 But the best part about the carbon tax increase is by far and away the gaslighting, where you are
00:00:11.400 told that, no, no, no, you're actually making money off this tax. Oh, everyone's getting,
00:00:17.660 getting, we're going to be millionaires. You get $122 every three months. That's like 500 bucks a
00:00:24.240 year. We're basically millionaires. No, billionaires. Everyone's going to become a billionaire
00:00:28.540 because we get 500 bucks from the government. Maybe we'll get 600 bucks. That would give us
00:00:32.660 trillions of dollars. I don't know. I went to school at Harvard University, so I don't really
00:00:37.740 know much. This brings us to the, why is this so stupid? How are people so stupid? Now, I'm going 1.00
00:00:45.760 to make a definition difference between stupid and dumb. Dumb is a physical impediment. That's low 1.00
00:00:52.340 IQ. And this isn't a problem with dumb people. Dumb people are not the problem here. Stupid people 1.00
00:00:57.240 are. Stupidity is the ability to reason yourself into crazy, crazy thoughts like, hey, I'm making 1.00
00:01:03.580 money off a tax. That's a stupid person thing, right? And the fact that we have many economists 1.00
00:01:08.960 signing on letters saying, oh, the carbon tax is a great idea. This is stupidity, right? People don't 1.00
00:01:14.920 go to Harvard and get dumber. Harvard turns people into stupid. They make, they make them stupider 1.00
00:01:21.140 because they think race communism will save the world. All right. The carbon tax affects 0.99
00:01:27.520 everyone except for a few fringe people. There are some people who are actually making money off
00:01:33.740 the carbon tax. These would be people who do one, don't buy any things because where the carbon tax
00:01:40.900 rebate happens is on gas, right? So what the carbon tax rebate figures out is, all right,
00:01:47.160 how much does this average person, depending on the family, whatever, spend on gas? And then you
00:01:53.040 get a rebate based on the increase you're supposed to pay at the pumps, right? Because we're making gas
00:01:59.780 more expensive. So what you're putting in your car, you get a rebate on that. And let's say,
00:02:04.860 hypothetically, the PBO is saying, all right, if you spend the average of like $400 more on gas,
00:02:10.940 by this, you're getting 500. You're technically making money there, but you're not making money because,
00:02:16.620 now the liberals cut out everything to the butt. And then I pretended that the PBO is backing them
00:02:22.020 up, but it's not because they're pointing out economics. When you increase the price of fuel,
00:02:28.020 you increase the price of everything. So if you don't buy any things, then this doesn't affect you.
00:02:32.720 But most things require, or everything requires energy to make. Think of a wooden chair, right?
00:02:38.620 Here it's a wooden chair, right? You have the energy cost of, right, logging. You got to knock down the
00:02:44.320 wood, right? Then you got to transport that wood from the force to a processing plant. You then
00:02:48.960 process it. Then you take that process wood, you transport it again, how? On a truck with gas to
00:02:54.260 a manufacturing thing. It's then cut and shaped. And then at some point, it's assembled somewhere
00:02:59.240 else, right? You put the nuts and bolts in, you make a chair, and then you transport it again to
00:03:03.320 market, right? All those different transportation things and energy things, all the price of doing that
00:03:08.020 has now increased. So the price of the chair has now gone up. The carbon tax does not take into
00:03:12.300 account the price of the chair. So if you don't buy any things, if you just don't buy things,
00:03:17.300 crushing it. You're getting 500 bucks a year. You're basically, again, a billionaire.
00:03:21.180 500 plus 500, a billion, right? I can do math. Put me in the Liberal Party.
00:03:26.820 You then have people don't buy things. But another thing is food prices, right? Because how do you grow
00:03:32.340 food, right? You need combines and all these machines. They require what? Gas and energy and diesel and
00:03:38.020 all that. And then again, they're created. And then even then, food has to be transported to
00:03:42.740 market. How do you transport it? With energy, right? So the cost of food goes up. So if you
00:03:47.400 don't buy things and you don't eat food, right? So if you literally inject enough chlorophyll into your
00:03:53.420 veins that you can go outside, take your sugar off, stand in the sun and do photosynthesis,
00:03:58.140 and that's how you convert glucose to energy, you're crushing it. Again, you're killing it.
00:04:04.920 This tax is free. You are making money. You're the person making money. So if you don't buy any
00:04:09.940 things and you don't eat any food or buy any food, you are crushing it. You're getting 500 bucks a
00:04:16.360 year. You're basically a billionaire. You're the next Galen Weston. You're doing great. Everyone else,
00:04:21.580 so these are people who live in reality, buy things and eat food, they are getting crushed by the carbon
00:04:27.620 tax. And we have an even bigger problem again with the gaslighting, where we have the economist
00:04:32.580 signing a letter saying, oh, wow, we're all making money. And if you look at this letter the economist
00:04:38.620 signed, it's pure nonsense. But the way we have this sort of expert economy, and the experts are
00:04:45.220 getting out of control, is they've created a religion around climate change. I'm not telling
00:04:50.360 anyone anything they don't know, or I'm scaring some people who are newly leaving the Conservative
00:04:55.140 Party, because maybe they're Jewish or Hindu or East Asian, and the liberals are just being like, 0.99
00:05:00.180 yeah, you can kill these people. We don't care. And you're like, oh, what's going on? 1.00
00:05:04.820 The way we are sort of talking about climate is the economists, we sort of set this sort of
00:05:10.000 religious tenet, right? That salvation is the primary goal. And this is reducing climate change.
00:05:15.640 Now, there's no hard metric on this or climate. It's just climate's in the ether, there's CO2,
00:05:20.440 there's something. And to reduce the climate change, which is a religious tenet, because there's
00:05:25.020 no functional definition, it's a religious definition, we must need a climate plan, right?
00:05:29.440 And then we compare all these different crazy climate plans, and then we say which ones are
00:05:33.140 the best based off of our general feelings. And the most insane part of this is they're saying,
00:05:38.340 oh, the carbon tax, then you have a bunch of economists saying, oh, the carbon tax does not
00:05:42.320 create inflation. And this is malicious and malpractice. And this is where the experts need
00:05:47.260 to be stopped, because they don't understand even what they're talking about, or they do understand,
00:05:51.300 but they're giving in for, again, religious reasons, right? They're priests, and they're
00:05:57.020 being told that denying reality is the only path to salvation. Inflation, okay, you increase the carbon
00:06:03.800 tax, that's the number one driver, way to drive inflation. Now, if you read the letter, they're
00:06:09.100 blaming it all Russia, Ukraine, that's what's causing inflation, is Russia and Ukraine the only thing. 0.79
00:06:13.060 I'm not saying this war doesn't increase prices, it does, but nowhere near the level of COVID and
00:06:18.460 climate policies, this would be third, we could say war. The way inflation is calculated,
00:06:25.140 as I've said before, is on the CPI. The CPI, Consumer Price Index, is a metric designed that
00:06:31.040 when inflation is running out of control, it's designed to create the illusion that inflation
00:06:36.640 is going down. That's what the CPI is actually designed to do, because if inflation hits certain
00:06:42.060 levels, there are congressional triggers that have to happen in the US, they created a metric that
00:06:47.080 would never, ever trigger, because it goes down as inflation goes up, and this is our primary way to
00:06:51.740 measure inflation. How do you do this? Okay, the CPI measures just raw goods, but it's the key flaw in
00:06:58.740 the CPI is it does not account for substitutions or reductions. So the Consumer Price Index is like how
00:07:05.080 the average someone spends in a certain thing. So like, it can kind of measure inflation if things
00:07:11.860 like, you know, car mechanics, that it can kind of be accurate there. But that's so small in the
00:07:17.380 economy. The big one is grocery stores and food, right? This is this is the number one way the CPI lies
00:07:24.200 to you. So let's say, I'm just gonna do some raw numbers, make it like it's you need your budget is
00:07:31.680 $100 per week to feed your family. And you can just to make this simple, you can get $100 worth of steak
00:07:39.560 or triple A beef, whatever it is. And this provides, you know, x level of protein, let's say 100, you know,
00:07:46.580 100 protein units that I've just created, you can get that for $100 worth of steak per week,
00:07:53.220 that's within your budget, you do that. Okay, inflation hits, you know, 10%. All right, so the
00:07:59.840 price of steak has gone up 10%. You cannot afford $110 per week, but you can, you can afford if you
00:08:06.420 push it $105 a week. So in order to get 100 units of protein to feed your family and keep them alive,
00:08:13.480 like that baseline, you would then substitute steak for chicken, and you can spend $105, you can get the
00:08:19.260 same, you know, you get to 100 protein units, through chicken, you spend $105. So what the CPI
00:08:24.720 now says is inflation is at 5%. It's actually at 10%. The price of everything has gone up 10%. But
00:08:30.520 you're spending 5% more on your budget. So CPI says inflation is at 5%, even though prices are going up
00:08:37.460 at 10%. Inflation continues to go on, things go up another 10%. Okay, you now can't afford this level
00:08:44.140 of chicken. So people do another thing is they either say, Alright, we're actually going to go
00:08:48.880 below the 100 threshold. So either I will go to 95 protein units, or I'll make another substitution to
00:08:57.080 soy based or, you know, I'll go to soybeans and do that. So you have a thing where, you know, so you can
00:09:05.700 say, Alright, now I can stretch my budget, maybe to $107. So you're spending more, but inflation is now
00:09:14.640 going down, because it's not inflated the much as much as you spent, right, you spent an extra 5% that
00:09:21.120 time, this time, you're spending an extra, like, around 2%, let's say, just under, right, you're
00:09:26.360 spending extra 2%. Oh, inflation has gone down from 5% to 2%. But the price of everything, again, went up by
00:09:30.620 10%, causing you to make these concessions. Now inflation comes down when things get so bad, things get
00:09:35.960 so bad in the economy, because prices go up so much that eventually, you know, the mother, single mother 0.99
00:09:41.380 or the parents say, we're going to start skipping meals, so our kids don't have to skip meals. So instead of
00:09:46.740 like making substitutions for different proteins, you go, Okay, we're just going to spend the $105 we can, but we're
00:09:52.460 now going to use that to buy 90 units of protein when we need 100. We're just going to, as the as the
00:09:58.140 adults, eat less food, consume less energy, starve a bit, but keep keep our kids alive. These are the
00:10:04.520 decisions people make. And when people start to make these tough decisions, these really bad economic
00:10:08.640 decisions, right, people are spending less money, and inflation is solved, even though the price of
00:10:13.960 everything's going up, that's real inflation. The CPI then says, Look, we fixed inflation, because people
00:10:19.320 are now spending $100 again at the grocery store. Congratulations, Justin Trudeau. And again, everything at the
00:10:25.440 grocery store is transported there. So when you increase the cost of fuel, you take everything at
00:10:30.880 law applies, you're gonna see April's April 1, you're gonna see, and Jagmeet is going to have a
00:10:34.820 conniption, Galen Weston, but no, the price of everything is going to go up. It's going to hurt
00:10:40.820 the people struggling the most, they're going to make some very tough decisions for their families.
00:10:45.280 And sorry about this, Trudeau's fault. And then they're going to be spending less money at the
00:10:49.700 grocery store. You, if you're, you know, upper middle class or middle class, and you can still
00:10:54.400 afford this, you're going to be paying a lot more money. And but you're going to be gaslit by the
00:10:59.600 government saying, Look, we've actually solved inflation because we've destroyed poor people. 0.96
00:11:04.560 And then ironically, we're going to claim that we're actually uplifting these poor people because
00:11:08.180 they're making money off the carbon tax. This is how the experts lie to you. This is weaponized
00:11:13.040 stupidity. And it's the number one thing driving Western civilization into the ground. We must stop 1.00
00:11:19.200 it. Everyone needs basic common sense. If we had a society where someone tried to claim you're
00:11:25.800 actually making money off a tax, and we had a healthy society, we'd go, No, you were lying to us, 0.99
00:11:30.860 never be that ridiculous. The political party would humiliate it, and that'd be the end of it. But 0.94
00:11:34.800 because this lie persists to some ding-dongs, overly educated ding-dongs to be specific,
00:11:40.720 the price of everything will get worse and worse and worse. And it's again, destroying the most
00:11:45.220 vulnerable families, we'll be forced to make some tough choices. And we will then celebrate 0.99
00:11:49.360 the destruction of our weakest and most vulnerable people as a great economic success because we are
00:11:55.560 a broken society.
