The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Pierre Poilievre slams Trudeau and Eby's insane drug policies

00:00:00.000 In Canadian politics, one of the worst brand associations that you can have is with Prime

00:00:05.200 Minister Justin Trudeau. It's so bad, a lot of provincial liberal parties either come out and

00:00:09.980 say that they have no association with the federal party, or they just outright change their names.

00:00:14.680 But there is one brand association even worse than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, so much so

00:00:20.720 that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is scared to be affiliated with this person. And this is British

00:00:26.040 Columbia NDP Premier David Eby, one of the biggest generators of radical left-wing progressive

00:00:32.320 policy and the main man who is still championing decriminalization of drugs in Canada. You know

00:00:38.820 it's super bad because federal Conservative Party leader Pierre Polyev has been focusing in on this

00:00:44.620 like a hawk, trying to tie the two men together, and it's not difficult to do. So this is a post that

00:00:50.900 that Pierre Polyev, I believe, made yesterday. And he says, Trudeau exempted BC from the criminal

00:00:57.680 code ban on crack, heroin, and fentanyl in parks and hospitals. After taking in the polls, the BC NDP

00:01:04.980 did a panic pre-election flip-flop admitting Eby and Trudeau were wrong. Common Sense Conservative

00:01:10.580 demanded emergency parliamentary debate. And then he goes on basically saying that there must be federal

00:01:15.460 policy put into place to stop decriminalization in the provinces. David Eby right now is actually

00:01:20.820 trying to walk back some of his decriminalization policies by weekly coming out and saying, can you

00:01:25.700 guys stop smoking crack in parks and do it in the parking lot instead? That's effectively what his new

00:01:32.340 pivot is on drug policy. Not actually ending decriminalization, but just trying to put in place

00:01:37.620 time, place, and manner restrictions on decriminalization. And so now Justin Trudeau,

00:01:44.180 for some reason, will not actually grant the BC government to enforce the law on not using illicit

00:01:51.280 drugs in public parks, because Justin Trudeau doesn't even want to associate himself with what

00:01:57.160 David Eby is doing. Because if Justin Trudeau was to come out and actually allow the RCMP to start

00:02:02.880 arresting people again in these public parks, he would then have to come out and admit that he was a

00:02:07.820 partial worker in this radical policy, that he was assisting them by giving them these waivers

00:02:13.540 on decriminalization. Basically saying, yeah, you don't have to enforce the law anymore. You can

00:02:17.780 just let people do whatever they want. And now that David Eby is panicking, because rightfully so,

00:02:23.880 the BC conservatives are ahead of him with decided voters. He is now trying to walk back this policy,

00:02:29.280 not really walk it back, just say, don't use it next to a school, don't use meth next to a school.

00:02:34.500 Now he's having to beg Justin Trudeau to put back in place criminal restrictions. And Justin Trudeau

00:02:40.300 doesn't even want to acknowledge David Eby's existence. So Pierre Polyev has posted multiple

00:02:45.680 times about this over the last 48 hours. In this other post, he says, why is Trudeau refusing to

00:02:51.400 approve the BC NDP's request to ban public use of meth, heroin, and illicit fentanyl? Because he

00:02:56.860 supports this radical hard drug policy and wants to bring it to Toronto next. And that is true.

00:03:02.240 The government of Toronto, and I even studied this for my master's degree, 0.99

00:03:06.360 is now trying to bring the same stupid safe supply policies and decriminalization policies 0.99

00:03:12.100 to Toronto. They already have a partial waiver from the federal government to not enforce 0.98

00:03:17.680 criminal policy on drugs. But even that is a little bit weak where some police sergeants and

00:03:24.740 officers can still enforce it. But effectively, the government is trying to pressure prosecutors to

00:03:30.880 not actually push forward on any of these cases. It's a complete mess. It's both the problem of

00:03:36.500 Toronto City Hall, as well as Justin Trudeau enabling them. They even, I believe, wrote instructions

00:03:42.480 on how to basically avoid charging people for different illicit drug possession and use

00:03:48.160 offenses. It's insane. But what I think Pierre Polyev is doing is that he knows that Justin Trudeau is

00:03:54.340 dead in the water. Justin Trudeau has no chance of winning the next election. A new poll just came out

00:03:59.120 today showing that not only are the conservatives ahead by 20 points like we've gotten used to,

00:04:04.040 the conservatives were at 44% in the latest poll that was released from like Nanos or something

00:04:08.680 like that. It's terrible for Justin Trudeau in the polling. And somehow even worse than the

00:04:13.340 fundraising, the conservatives are more than doubling the fundraising numbers of the liberals.

00:04:17.380 So the conservatives could max out their spending limits in pretty much every single riding at this

00:04:22.180 point. It's nuts. They're spending like $3 million a year just growing Pierre Polyev's name

00:04:26.580 recognition because they have that much money laying around. It's crazy. This is like the type

00:04:31.540 of spending you'd associate with like an American governor's race where there's millions and millions

00:04:36.160 of dollars being dumped on ads all over the place. But because Polyev perceives rightfully so that

00:04:42.720 Justin Trudeau cannot win the next federal election, he's training fire on BC like NDP Premier David

00:04:49.580 Eby because he wants David Eby out of the way. Because David Eby, as a Premier of one of the bigger

00:04:54.640 provinces in Canada, could try and stymie the criminal justice reforms that Pierre Polyev wants

00:05:00.360 to make. David Eby could try and refuse to enforce them, or his decriminalization policies could end

00:05:06.540 up spreading to other provinces unless we nip this in the butt now and we defeat BC Premier David Eby

00:05:12.060 in the next provincial election in BC to make sure that the rest of Canada understands that we're not

00:05:16.480 going to put up with this. So that's why I think that Pierre Polyev has been assisting the BC

00:05:21.300 Conservative Party so much. The BC Conservatives basically didn't exist a year and a half ago,

00:05:25.940 and now with decided voters, they're ahead. And I think it is extremely important to basically

00:05:30.700 finally put an end to all this decriminalization stuff at the source before moving on to win the

00:05:36.720 next federal election and making Pierre Poly the new Premier. First, what needs to happen is John

00:05:41.180 Rustad needs to become the Premier of BC so we can stop the flow of radical ideas coming out of

00:05:46.580 British Columbia. The vast majority of British Columbia residents are obviously not on board

00:05:51.040 with decriminalization and a lot of these other radical policies, but the NDP and the Green Party

00:05:56.140 are good enough at getting their voters out that they can kind of keep these very unpopular policies

00:06:00.740 in place. So if they get taken out by the BC Conservatives, this can have a stop put to it so

00:06:06.120 then when Pierre Polyev becomes Prime Minister, criminal justice policy can be sort of unified across the

00:06:11.640 country that we will have tough on crime, tough on drug use laws that we can actually get control

00:06:17.300 of crime in this country with. This is a great development that Pierre Polyev is actually,

00:06:22.240 in a certain sense, fairly generously using his time and political power to go after David Eby because

00:06:28.120 most other leaders, especially someone like Aaron O'Toole, would purely focus on the federal matters,

00:06:33.340 and if anyone asked them to even comment on provincial stuff, they would just say,

00:06:36.640 I'd have no opinion, I'm a federal politician, and they would let the BC residents continue to

00:06:41.680 suffer. We have to win each battle in order before we get to the federal election, and I think that

00:06:46.360 this is one domino that needs to topple before we can even think about going after Justin Trudeau in

00:06:51.900 2025. Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys. I want to do my normal plug that I,

00:06:57.860 Wyatt Claypool, am running for the Calgary-Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.

00:07:01.960 If you live in the federal riding of Signal Hill and Ronald Leepert is currently your MP,

00:07:07.160 he's not running for re-election, so buy a Conservative membership if you live in this

00:07:11.180 riding. That's what the boundaries look like, and vote for me number one on your ballot,

00:07:15.020 and also you can donate to the TNT legal fund that I have under the Give, Send, Go link in the

00:07:20.440 description below if you want to help us in this ridiculous lawsuit we are in with a Chinese 0.88

00:07:24.700 billionaire developer who's trying to sue us for defamation and yet has not been able to provide

00:07:28.860 any proof of defamation over two years now. It's so stupid. And then also in the description below, 1.00

00:07:34.320 I have the link to our Telegram channel if you want to join the Telegram so you get all of the

00:07:38.860 TNT content being posted in order and you don't have to rely on YouTube or other social media platforms

00:07:46.020 to show you when we have new videos because I know that sometimes they don't recommend our videos to

00:07:50.880 you even if you've been a long-time subscriber. So you go for like three weeks not even seeing that

00:07:55.440 we upload anything new unless you specifically go to the channel and scroll down. That's annoying,

00:08:00.220 but you got to deal with it, and Telegram's a really great way of coping. Anyways, have a good

00:08:04.900 one everyone. I'm, you know, this is it for me today. I'm, why am I messing up my outro so much? I'm so,

00:08:10.280 I'm so sorry.
