Summary

In this episode of the podcast, I discuss why the Liberal Party is so unpopular, and why it s time to stop listening to the bologna factory over there. I talk about two data points that demonstrate why the Liberals are in their current position: 1) A secret report from the RCMP warns that Canadians may revolt once they realize how broke they are. 2) A clip from a Liberal MP who thinks this is a good idea.

00:00:00.000 Friends, neighbors, countrymen, I am pleased to tell you that nature is truly beginning to heal.
00:00:06.860 There is an abacus data poll out there which the seat projections show that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party would come in third place behind Yves-Francois Blanchet's Bloc Québécois.
00:00:19.620 Yes, Trudeau's Liberal Party might get less seats than a party that only runs in one province, that being Quebec.
00:00:27.360 And this same seat projection only shows the Liberals doing two seats better than Jagmeet Singh's NDP.
00:00:34.840 Jagmeet Singh being the only federal politician in Canada that sometimes makes Justin Trudeau look somewhat competent.
00:00:42.460 And why I want to talk about this today is I want to talk about two data points that really demonstrate why the Liberals are in the positions that they are.
00:00:50.940 Obviously, you know that the Liberal government is deeply unpopular because of all the incompetence, all the policy failures, the corruption, and as well as just the overall arrogance of their representatives.
00:01:03.760 But I want to talk about two data points that aren't really statistical data.
00:01:08.100 It's more social data because in a lot of ways, you can't really break down people's emotions towards the government based on economic data and other sort of polling results.
00:01:18.460 You measure in things like this.
00:01:20.640 This is an actual National Post headline that many of you have probably already seen.
00:01:25.220 An article written by Tristan Hopener that I will link in the description below.
00:01:29.280 And the headline reads, secret RCMP report warns Canadians may revolt once they realize how broke they are.
00:01:37.220 That is a headline that I believe is a significant data point.
00:01:41.700 The fact that there is somebody in the RCMP who wrote up a report saying that there's actual chance of physical revolution breaking out in Canada
00:01:51.040 because of how poorly the Liberals have managed the economy and how bad the economy is right now is truly insane.
00:01:57.920 The fact that we are a country, a first world country that fears an actual physical violence style revolt is ridiculous.
00:02:07.600 And this is what Justin Trudeau has done with all of his crippling economic policies and policies that are just unnecessary.
00:02:15.080 It's not like he had some grand economic plan that just didn't work out.
00:02:18.940 All of his policies are aimed at specifically making people poorer for abstract goals trying to make the climate better.
00:02:28.240 That's why people hate this guy's guts.
00:02:30.220 It's because he cares more about things that are immaterial than actual Canadians, than living human beings in Canada.
00:02:37.400 This is why he cares more about keeping the immigration rate sky high instead of the actual living standards of Canadian citizens.
00:02:44.120 He cares more about the abstract kind of data around Canada as a country.
00:02:48.960 What is our emissions?
00:02:50.140 What's our immigration rate?
00:02:51.540 What's our diversity ratio and stuff like that?
00:02:54.680 That's why people hate this man.
00:02:56.620 It's because he doesn't care about the actual bread and butter issues that most voters care about.
00:03:02.440 And this is why in provinces like Manitoba and BC, the Liberals are now also polling in third place.
00:03:07.760 Not just seat projections nationally, could they come in third place?
00:03:11.660 They're now in third place in Manitoba and BC behind the NDP in the polling.
00:03:16.780 That said, the Liberals have way more money than the NDP and way more mass appeal.
00:03:21.940 The fact that Justin Trudeau took a party that is the natural governing party of Canada into a third place party in multiple provinces is utterly pathetic.
00:03:31.560 And I'm here to cheer it on because I love seeing the Liberal Party burn up and fail.
00:03:36.180 But here is another clip.
00:03:38.320 This is something that a Liberal Party MP and cabinet minister posted himself.
00:03:43.820 This is Jonathan Wilkinson, a Liberal Party MP from riding.
00:03:47.760 I don't know what riding is.
00:03:48.680 Just fill in the blank for whatever riding Jonathan Wilkinson is from.
00:03:52.120 And this is a clip he thought was good.
00:03:54.320 This is what he thought was a big dunk on the Conservative Party.
00:03:58.680 This is why these people are out of touch.
00:04:00.200 They think this is a good moment.
00:04:01.740 They think that this makes them look good in front of the average Canadian who's struggling to pay for groceries.
00:04:06.340 Honorable Minister for Natural Resources.
00:04:08.400 Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
00:04:09.380 I'm very happy to stand up for British Columbians on this.
00:04:12.060 British Columbians led the way with a price on pollution.
00:04:15.260 It was Gordon Campbell, a right-wing premier in BC, who actually put in place the first price on pollution.
00:04:21.420 Led Canada was a leader in the world.
00:04:23.820 My goodness, it is a shame to see British Columbians like that who deny the reality of climate change.
00:04:28.900 I agree very much with David Eby when he says we should stop listening to the bologna factory over there.
00:04:41.700 Oh, what a good point, Jonathan.
00:04:44.880 Yes, you dunked on Pierre Paulyov by saying that he is somehow, like, I don't know, ruining the legacy of famous right-wing premier, liberal premier Gordon Campbell.
00:04:56.360 I don't know why he thinks this is a great moment.
00:04:59.360 He posted this himself.
00:05:00.920 He is effectively making fun of Canadians who actually need to be able to, you know, live in material reality, who have to actually deal with physical reality around them, like high prices.
00:05:11.880 That, well, conservatives are so silly.
00:05:13.620 Don't they know that a right-winger, a liberal premier, I know that the liberal party of BC was kind of a big tent party, but it was still mostly a very center-left party.
00:05:22.380 That, oh, the conservatives don't realize that they're opposing Gordon Campbell on something.
00:05:27.140 Okay, does that change the fact that prices are really high and inflation is out of control?
00:05:32.780 It doesn't?
00:05:33.720 Okay, well, what's your point, Jonathan?
00:05:36.020 This is why Canadians don't like you.
00:05:38.500 When you have, when they think, at their best, they're basically mocking conservatives for caring about tax relief.
00:05:46.940 If you're mocking your opposition for caring about the economy, you're an idiot.
00:05:52.140 You don't know what Canadians actually feel about the issues.
00:05:55.580 This is why you're in third place in seats.
00:05:58.820 I know not all polls show this.
00:06:00.220 I don't actually think the liberals will finish in third.
00:06:02.360 But the fact that there are even polls out there showing that the liberals would be in third if it broke the way the poll is modeling,
00:06:09.020 that is because you guys don't care about issues people care about.
00:06:14.380 You mock people for caring about parental rights, for caring about being able to raise their own kids,
00:06:19.200 calling them bigots for wanting to be able to raise their own kids and make decisions for their kids.
00:06:23.800 You act like people just deny climate change because they don't support the carbon tax that doesn't reduce emissions
00:06:30.220 and is squeezing people on the fundamental, like, on their needs that they have.
00:06:35.100 It is squeezing them on groceries, on heating, and gasoline.
00:06:40.260 And you're mocking a conservative, like, party leader for caring about those issues.
00:06:45.000 You guys need to get out of your bubble.
00:06:47.580 You can't win an election only caring about people on Bay Street and in downtown urban Montreal.
00:06:53.760 This is why they lost the Maritimes.
00:06:55.500 Right now, not only are the conservatives in first in the Maritimes, based on just, I think it's actually aggregated polling,
00:07:02.480 it's not just one poll, the conservatives are at 50% across the Maritimes.
00:07:07.500 Remember in 2015, the liberals swept the Maritimes?
00:07:10.520 They won every single seat in the Maritimes in 2015.
00:07:14.020 And now the liberals are only polling at, like, 25% in the Maritimes, with the conservatives at 50%.
00:07:20.020 You guys messed up.
00:07:21.480 And basically, being in Canada as a liberal is like playing on easy mode.
00:07:26.260 You guys somehow lost on easy mode.
00:07:28.460 I don't think I can get this strongly enough across to you guys.
00:07:32.300 You suck so bad, you lost on easy mode because you were too arrogant to actually care about things that matter.
00:07:39.280 Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:07:42.080 If you live in Calgary, check which riding you live in because, shameless plug, I, Wyatt Claypool,
00:07:47.420 am running for the Calgary-Sigville Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:07:50.920 This is what the riding boundaries will look like after riding boundaries change in April.
00:07:54.820 If you live in this area, buy a Conservative Party membership.
00:07:58.180 Vote for me.
00:07:58.900 Check out my website in the description, wyattclaypool.com.
00:08:01.500 And if you want to contribute to my and the National Telegraph's legal fund, we have this ridiculous billionaire developer suing us over nothing.
00:08:08.780 He has no evidence we defamed him, and he hasn't even really gotten back to us in all of the documents we've requested for him.
00:08:15.160 He knows he's wrong, or at least I guarantee he knows he's wrong, in my personal opinion.
00:08:19.620 So if you want to contribute to that and help us deal with our illegal burdens, we've had to pay over $26,000 defending ourselves, combining another ridiculous lawsuit we had in effectively the year previously that we effectively won at this point.
00:08:33.660 We've paid more than $31,000 in legal fees over the past two years.
00:08:38.040 So anything you can contribute really does help, and we appreciate everyone who has contributed thus far.
00:08:44.060 Thank you for watching, guys.
