00:00:00.000 I don't think that this should surprise any of you, but the Justin Trudeau liberal government, as Black History Month starts, no less, is releasing the fact that they have a racist housing policy that gives people money based on what they look like.
00:00:15.440 Completely insane, but here's the announcement video by Housing Minister Sean Frazier.
00:00:20.920 If we're going to solve the housing crisis, it's important that we understand that not all communities are impacted the same.
00:00:25.900 That's why some of our affordable housing programs specifically target communities that have been historically disadvantaged or that have vulnerable community members.
00:00:33.200 We're here in Nova Scotia at the Fairfax Homes Project, which has been led by ACUMA, the organization responsible for this extraordinary development.
00:00:40.740 This development was led by the African Nova Scotian community for the African Nova Scotian community.
00:00:46.040 This particular development was supported by the Rapid Housing Initiative.
00:00:49.340 It's put up eight homes and we had an opportunity to visit some of the residents today.
00:00:52.740 What's exciting is they're going to be building out the project from here to include larger spaces for families that have more kids.
00:00:58.860 It's co-located to services that support families with high needs and they're adding a long-term care facility so members of the community can stay in the community where they have come from historically.
00:01:08.440 This is an incredible project. I want to say thank you and congratulations to everyone at ACUMA.
00:01:12.800 It's a pleasure to work with you and we look forward to doing more in the future.
00:01:15.700 Strange that the liberals are just coming out and endorsing racial enclaves, specifically encouraging people to not integrate into society and create little like communes around the country where you only live with people who are like from the exact place that you immigrated from.
00:01:35.140 That seems like a not great thing to do and can over time.
00:01:38.360 And also just the idea that, well, we're giving money to those who have been historically disadvantaged in the housing market.
00:01:44.600 You mean people who just showed up not that long ago?
00:01:47.360 That's not actually surprising that people who have not been in Canada for multiple generations have a little bit of a harder time buying housing.
00:01:54.580 But I don't think it's that the Canadian government needs to step in and buy those people housing or give them subsidies for their housing because they're black. 0.76
00:02:03.560 That is actually racist.
00:02:05.120 You can say, well, we're doing it for a good reason.
00:02:07.120 No, it's still racist.
00:02:08.480 You're taking money out of the housing fund and giving it to people based on like a color wheel.
00:02:14.980 That's very flipping weird.
00:02:17.140 Anyways, but here's Justin Trudeau reacting to the same programs that they've been releasing.
00:02:21.580 He said two years ago to help break down the systemic barriers that black Canadians face when looking for housing.
00:02:27.660 Our government invested in black North America, Canada, whatever.
00:02:31.480 I don't know what program is because of that investment.
00:02:34.160 And Roderick and Kishma were able to find affordable place to raise their family in.
00:02:38.700 I met with them today to hear more about their story.
00:02:41.900 We spoke about how their program helps them and about what more we can do to make sure that other families benefit because everyone deserves an affordable place to call home.
00:02:51.120 And we're focusing on delivering it.
00:02:52.860 I guess everyone deserves a place to call home unless you are unless you are white or Asian and you wanted to access this program. 0.98
00:03:00.320 The government has no business deciding that certain programs only apply to certain skin colors.
00:03:06.860 That's insane.
00:03:08.400 White, brown, black, Asian. 0.99
00:03:10.860 No, no one should be getting money because of their race. 0.92
00:03:13.940 It's insane.
00:03:15.280 But it's just pandering.
00:03:16.740 It's the liberals assuming that they can maybe carve out some sort of new voter blocks in specific communities by specifically targeting money to them under the justification that, well, this is not discriminatory because they've been historically disadvantaged in some way.
00:03:33.160 And remember, disadvantaged doesn't even mean like unfairly treated.
00:03:37.800 It just means, oh, you know, they have disadvantages because they've only been in this country for five years compared to someone who's lived here all 35 years of their lives.
00:03:46.280 But that doesn't mean that they are owed money.
00:03:48.900 If anything, that is probably why our immigration system is such a basket case. 0.99
00:03:53.220 The Canadian government has made it very clear that especially with many new immigrant communities, they're willing to just throw hundreds of millions of dollars in random support benefits, benefits that no other Canadian gets.
00:04:05.500 And this is why you get people very upset where you saw the stream of people coming from the United States up Roxham Road in that illegal border crossing.
00:04:14.440 And they're being given like housing and hotels and whatnot paid by the Canadian taxpayer.
00:04:19.360 And you have homeless veterans who the Veterans Affairs Ministry is not taking care of.
00:04:24.580 They're not investing that much money in.
00:04:26.540 And like we can argue about whether or not you should just be buying these veterans just affordable homes and they shouldn't have to take care of any of the costs at all.
00:04:36.100 We can we can debate whether that's a fair policy or not, or there should be some input.
00:04:40.180 But but the fact that they're on the street and people who broke the law are getting hotels to stay in, that's pretty upsetting to me at the very least.
00:04:49.800 And now we have it that you're like if you're the right skin color, we'll basically fund a specific village in your town or whatever, only for your racial group. 0.78
00:05:00.220 Again, that's weird.
00:05:01.800 That hurts integration in the country.
00:05:03.740 And it makes Canadians like it makes it makes it like a actually is a fairly divisive policy.
00:05:10.060 You're going to have a lot of Canadians now resenting potentially neighbors around them who might get money simply because of the race while they get nothing.
00:05:17.260 Or just the fact that you're creating towns to have enclaves of different ethnicities around it rather than people integrating and everyone becoming Canadians. 0.85
00:05:27.200 Silly policy. 0.65
00:05:28.400 But what do you expect from the Justin Trudeau liberals? 0.96
00:05:30.960 Anyways, that should be it for me today.
00:05:32.680 Just let you know, in my gifts and go, the gifts and go link is in the description of this video.
00:05:37.320 I have a legal fund going in that gifts and go campaign in order to fund my and the National Telegraph's legal defense fund against a billionaire suing us over a ridiculous defamation case that he literally never filed any evidence for.
00:05:51.360 He did.
00:05:52.100 But his evidence is like his LinkedIn page and his company website that has nothing to do with it.
00:05:56.720 I think they were just trying to make it seem like they had evidence.
00:05:59.020 Anyways, other than that, again, I, Wyatt Claypool, am running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:06:06.020 It's this riding on the western side of Calgary.
00:06:08.980 If you live in western Calgary, go check out where you live.
00:06:12.580 And if you live in this riding, buy a Conservative Party membership.
00:06:16.040 Vote for me number one on your ballot whenever the nomination date gets set.
00:06:19.060 We want real Conservatives representing strong Conservative ridings, not carpetbagging Red Tories like I have a lot of in this race running against me. 0.98
00:06:27.540 Anyways, that should be it for me today.
00:06:29.420 And I'll see you guys later in another video.
