And there was a pretty big bombshell that the university is coming after you for standing up against anti-Semitism.

The way, I'm going to let you phrase this, but apparently there was a DEI, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion meeting,

and they wanted to add an anti-Palestinian discrimination.

You suggested they also add an anti-Israeli discrimination, and this has resulted in the threat of suspension.

So Rabbi Jaffet, can you give the people, let them know, why is the university coming after the rabbi on campus right now?

Sure. To give you a little more background, what happened was the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion decided to have

a celebration on the International Day and Racial Discrimination with a panel about anti-Palestinian hatred.

And I said, I'm very excited to come hear more about anti-Palestinian hatred. Would you please include anti-Israel hatred as well?

And the answer was a resounding no. And I asked them publicly, I asked them privately, eventually we had a meeting about it.

And they said, no, we're not doing that, we can't add it, we're not going to add it.

But they promised me, later we'll do something about anti-Israel stuff.

And I'll tell you, for the last couple months now, I've been emailing the VP, Equity, and a bunch of other people

who have told me that they would do stuff about anti-Israel hate.

And they've not only been ignoring my emails, but I just found out a few minutes ago

that they've lodged another complaint against me at the Campus Chaplains Association.

So as a campus chaplain, I'm underneath the University Campus Chaplains Association.

And now the Campus Chaplains Association is looking at suspending me from campus for unprofessional behavior.

Because I have publicly talked about the fact that the University is not including anti-Israel hate in their DEI topics.

So there you have it at U of T, when there's a mob that calls for the annihilation of the Jewish people,

that says from the water to the water, Palestine will be Arab, intifada, antifada,

and a rabbi stands up and says, can we talk about anti-Semitism?

Who does the University fight? The Jews. They don't fight anti-Semitism. It's quite a shame.
