00:03:11.940 winnable and significant if it could be won. Think about Manhattan, New York. It would certainly be

00:03:20.560 significant if it could be won for Jesus, but it doesn't seem particularly winnable, at least at

00:03:27.620 this time. And think, on the other hand, of the proverbial Timbuktu, a place that has a population

00:03:34.660 of 247 living souls, a place that we could move into with 50 people to plant a church and win it

00:03:43.060 for King Jesus in a fortnight. It's winnable, but not necessarily strategic. See, we're in it for the

00:03:51.800 long haul. This is a war, and it's not going to be won overnight, but there are integral battles

00:04:00.020 along the way. Some of the battles are not winnable. And some of the battles that are

00:04:06.120 winnable are so small and insignificant, it would be better if we take those troops and bring them

00:04:13.240 in as reinforcements to the decisive point. Think the Battle of Bunker's Hill. It's not necessarily

00:04:21.060 the biggest battle, but it's the kind of battle that's both winnable and significant. It's the

00:04:28.760 kind of battle that ultimately has the potential of redirecting the outcome of the entire war.

00:04:36.180 Georgetown, Texas seems to be like Bunkers Hill. Its proximity to Austin, Texas, which is horribly

00:04:44.420 progressive, makes it significant. In about 35 minutes, by taking one of the tolls, you can move

00:04:51.300 from Georgetown to Austin City proper

00:04:58.000 And yet, at the same time, Georgetown, Texas

00:05:01.380 is in a separate county from Austin.

00:05:04.180 It's in Williamson County.

00:05:06.320 The way I like to think about it is this.

00:05:19.420 just far enough away to not have our police defunded. So in December of 2020, eight families

00:05:27.400 moved with my wife and I to Georgetown, Texas. We took about 20 people, kids and all, to this area

00:05:35.740 of the United States. Now what's our goal? Our goal by God's grace, first and foremost,

00:05:42.120 was to plant a church, Covenant Bible Church. See, the church is HQ. The church of Jesus Christ

00:05:51.480 is the beachhead, the tip of the spear. We can't do this without planting churches,

00:05:59.720 but we can't do this by exclusively planting churches. The church is step one. And over the

00:06:07.680 last two and a half years by God's grace we went from eight families about 20 people in all to

00:06:14.400 about 200 people worshiping the triune God on the Lord's Day. Covenant Bible Church is quickly

00:06:22.100 becoming a force to be reckoned with. The church is step one but many of the reconstructionists 0.95

00:06:28.420 and theonomists of old argue that education is the very next thing that Christians must recapture.

00:06:35.820 The next step, by God's grace, is starting a classical Christian school.

00:06:42.140 St. George Academy is currently in the works.

00:06:45.840 And by God's grace, as we continue to plan and prepare and raise funds,

00:06:51.240 the goal is to open our doors in the fall of 2024.

00:06:56.080 Beyond that, we're doing things like this.

00:07:01.940 trying to grow our reach and influence through Right Response Ministries.

00:07:07.520 As of now, these are the three primary wings of our attack to win Georgetown for Jesus Christ.

00:08:17.980 to lose, yet still winnable. We can take them over time. There are people, albeit few and far

00:08:27.420 between, but there are people committed right now to taking whole towns for Jesus. So find them.

00:08:39.540 Join them. They need recruitments. Again, this is not going to happen over the course of a few weeks.

00:08:55.460 in it for the long haul. The sons of Issachar knew the times. There were times of peace and there

00:09:02.860 are times of war. Right now, the battle cry, the common denominator where Christians can link

00:09:11.540 arms and agree and fight together is this. Is Jesus merely head of the church or is Jesus

00:09:19.480 head of all? Is Jesus king of all? Is Jesus ruling now and is Jesus ruling here? Is it good for

00:09:30.320 nations to submit to the Lord Jesus? Is it good for all of society, every single element to be

00:09:41.460 Christianized. People who are like-minded in that regard need to be linked up, not just 0.95
