00:00:00.000 All right. In today's episode, we're going to be talking about socialism, right? We're going to be
00:00:04.280 talking about the fact that J.D. Vance and Trump, the Republican Party, are dirty, rotten socialists
00:00:11.020 all the way down to the core. Not exactly. We are going to be talking about socialism, but we're
00:00:15.640 going to be talking about a lot of misconceptions of what socialism actually is. What's bringing
00:00:21.700 about this conversation is that Trump has just recently said in his speech at the RNC,
00:00:26.140 right ahead of the midterms. Right now, Trump is tanking in the polls among his own constituents
00:00:32.520 heading into the midterms because he promised no new wars and decided to give us one anyway
00:00:37.200 that has been hurting the economy, especially as it has to do with energy, as it does with
00:00:42.320 gas prices, these kinds of things. So a lot of Americans, a lot of conservatives, especially
00:00:46.500 the younger ones, are frustrated with Trump. So they did the rally, rah, rah, rah, try to get
00:00:51.760 people to come out for the midterms and trump essentially said you know what uh you come out
00:00:56.920 you vote for us in november vote republican and we'll pay you we'll give you five thousand dollars
00:01:03.380 a pop every american citizen adult american citizen that comes out and votes is going to get
00:01:09.220 five thousand dollars um that was that was the claim uh in addition to that uh just really a
00:01:15.600 few days before, maybe a week at most, what we saw was J.D. Vance talking about income
00:01:22.180 and or subsidies and help, financial support for families where the husband and wife are
00:01:30.480 actually still together, right? So incentivizing intact families, getting $9,000 per child per
00:01:38.820 year. There's not a lot of details about this, but that seems to be the implication. $9,000
00:01:43.300 per child per year for families that have a stay-at-home mom where one of the parents is
00:01:51.680 full-time parent at home. Now, of course, the reality is that this, in our progressive American
00:01:59.280 context, even for someone like J.D. Vance, even for conservatives on the right, would this apply
00:02:04.800 to a gay couple that is married and one of the dudes stays at home with their adopted children
00:02:10.280 through surrogacy. Yep, you betcha. The GOP is gay as the day is long. They would support that.
00:02:19.860 They're probably more progressive on the LGBT issues than Democrats were just 10 years ago.
00:02:26.460 That's who we are as a country. But still, it begs the question, is this the right policy?
00:02:33.800 And so what we're going to discuss in this episode is the idea of supporting families, giving money to stay-at-home parents, those households that have children that actually stayed with their spouse and don't just have multiple baby daddies who are all estranged and living somewhere else.
00:02:52.100 Is that a good policy? Is that actually socialism in the technical sense?
00:02:57.160 and and we're going to talk about why why do our governing officials both on the left and on the
00:03:04.840 right feel this incessant urge to give people stuff and the short answer i'll give you right
00:03:11.640 now so we're not keeping you in suspense is because of democracy uh when democracy not just
00:03:18.560 not just a republic we once had a constitutional republic we don't anymore we have it on paper but
00:03:25.120 It doesn't exist, and everybody knows this, but once a constitutional republic devolves
00:03:30.000 into democracy, not just elements of democracy, but a raw democracy coupled with universal
00:03:37.100 suffrage, everyone gets a vote, then what history shows us is it's actually just not
00:03:45.180 a matter of if, but simply when.
00:03:47.520 How long will it take for the general public to realize that with universal suffrage, with
00:03:53.560 democracy, that they can vote for stuff. And so what we see now is the American people have
00:03:59.340 realized that in our democratic universal suffrage political structure, that they can vote for stuff.
00:04:07.480 And the conservative party is at a permanent disadvantage if they don't embrace some elements
00:04:15.360 of socialism. If the Democrats say, we'll give you free stuff if you vote for us,
00:04:21.660 but the conservatives on principle say, we'll never give you free stuff. Then you will have
00:04:27.240 Democrats in power forever. Now, I'm not saying there's really two options here. You can embrace,
00:04:34.360 conservatives can embrace socialism or aspects of socialism, right? The GOP can say, you know what?
00:04:41.820 The Democrats are doing it. We're going to do it too. They're going to give stuff to
00:04:46.360 immigrants. They're going to give stuff to ethnic minorities. Well, we're going to give stuff
00:04:51.760 to families. And so we'll pay the families to vote for us. The Democrats are going to pay
00:04:57.000 the single moms and the ethnic minorities to vote for us. And we're both just going to bribe the
00:05:04.300 American public and see who can bribe them best. That's one choice that you can make. If you're
00:05:11.200 conservative, you can say, we're going to fight back. We're going to fight fire with fire. We're
00:05:15.600 going to embrace some elements of socialism. Or the other solution that we'll get to in this
00:05:21.300 episode is you could also say, actually, we're going to get rid of democracy. We're going to get
00:05:27.720 rid of this universal suffrage, everyone gets a vote system that forces us to have to pay voters
00:05:35.720 to stay in power. So if we're going to have universal suffrage and a raw democracy and
00:05:43.300 completely abandon our constitutional republic, which we have done, then you're getting socialism
00:05:49.720 on both sides of the political aisle because it has not taken long for the Republicans to realize
00:05:55.960 that unless they embrace these kinds of policies, they are at a permanent electoral disadvantage.
00:06:01.940 The only way to break this cycle where each party is trying to outbid the other, racking up the
00:06:08.540 debt, racking up taxes, all these things, is to abandon the raw democracy coupled with
00:06:16.520 universal suffrage system. That's our show today. Radical Christian nationalist pastor,
00:06:24.060 Joel Webben. Joel Webben. I'm going to talk about Joel Webben. Joel Webben is an accident.
00:06:38.540 all right we're back with another episode of christian nationalism weekly west go ahead
00:06:52.260 you've lined out this episode give us a little bit of framework all right so i'm going to lay
00:06:56.200 out the three kind of big tent ideas that you see all of our modern economies oscillating between
00:07:01.180 capitalism socialism and communism now communism itself it's been said communism has never been
00:07:07.440 tried. It's been tried, but I'm going to be honest with you, it's never been achieved. On this
00:07:11.540 grading with capitalism on one end, communism on the other, capitalism is private ownership
00:07:16.500 of everything. It's private ownership of the means of production. It's private ownership of assets.
00:07:20.600 It's private ownership of property. And communism is the exact opposite. True communism is actually
00:07:25.860 a stateless economy. There is no state. There is no ownership class. Everything is shared.
00:07:30.500 Everything is communally, commune, communism, communally owned by everyone.
00:07:36.520 So now, obviously, the two extremes, everything's private property, including your courthouses, including your capital building.
00:07:43.860 That's there's practically none of that that exists today.
00:07:46.100 And communism truly has never been achieved.
00:07:48.420 Even the Soviets themselves did not achieve it.
00:07:51.280 North Korea today has a massive state that is massively powerful.
00:07:55.180 So a lot of your economies fall somewhere in between.
00:07:57.680 And what that in between is socialism.
00:07:59.900 It's the involvement and the ownership of the state of certain means of production.
00:08:03.620 It's the involvement and ownership of the community, of unions, owning different aspects.
00:08:07.880 Maybe sometimes it's private property.
00:08:09.440 Maybe sometimes, like I said, it's your means of productions and your assets.
00:08:13.220 What we're talking about here is not necessarily a binary.
00:08:15.920 Capitalism or communism, socialism or capitalism.
00:08:19.280 It's a gradient.
00:08:20.440 Who owns the majority?
00:08:21.820 Who's leveraging it?
00:08:23.000 What's the engine behind your economic growth?
00:08:26.540 Now, you and me, if you're in your 30s, if you're in your 40s, your parents grew up in the Cold War paradigm.
00:08:32.640 After World War II, basically the entire world, the West and the East, faced off.
00:08:37.100 It was basically freedom, the West, capitalism, free market, versus the East, which was communism.
00:08:44.040 You'll see on your screen here, I've kind of broken it down.
00:08:46.160 This is the Cold War paradigm.
00:08:47.960 Capitalism, West, communism, East, freedom, liberty.
00:08:53.200 In the West, the Soviet bloc restrictions in the East, small government.
00:08:58.480 This was a big thing from Ronald Reagan.
00:09:00.180 You remember his classic saying, the worst words in the English language, I'm from the
00:09:04.040 government and I'm here to help.
00:09:05.240 So for a lot of conservatives, it was capitalism, it was free markets, it was liberty, and it
00:09:10.260 was small, constrained government without a lot of power.
00:09:13.700 Obviously, when the state owns all the means of production, socialism, that's a big government.
00:09:19.140 That is the paradigm your parents grew up in.
00:09:22.500 this Cold War paradigm, that those are the oppositions, those are the binaries. This is
00:09:26.400 where good versus evil falls. Now, here's the deal. That is no longer the paradigm. On that graph,
00:09:33.220 capitalism won. It really did. China today, the Chinese Communist Party, ostensibly holds all
00:09:39.700 the power in the state, and they have lots of private markets, lots of market economy,
00:09:44.540 lots of privately owned wealth generating their economy because they realize that's what you have
00:09:50.020 to do. You need competition. Freedom also generally won. North Korea may be an exception
00:09:55.740 where you can't wear jeans because it's considered capitalist. Most places in the West, like sure,
00:10:00.240 you can't criticize the Holocaust in Germany. You can't criticize Islam in Britain, but for the most
00:10:05.360 part, you're pretty free in most first world countries here today. Again, less so in the East,
00:10:10.560 especially in China, a little bit less so in Russia, but generally speaking, capitalism,
00:10:14.400 it won out. Freedom won out. Now, small government didn't as much win out. That's
00:10:19.420 kind of part of the problem here. And so the new paradigm is not any of these old ones anymore,
00:10:23.960 but this is what young people are feeling. So the older generation, they're caught in the Cold War.
00:10:28.300 God bless them. That's where they're going to pass away. It's going to die with them.
00:10:33.020 Here's the new one. Nationalism versus globalism. You can have capitalism that imports as its
00:10:38.700 workers the entire world. You bring in hundreds of thousands of workers from third world countries
00:10:44.280 because they will work for pennies on the dollar.
00:10:47.360 Hey, it's still capitalism, it's still freedom,
00:10:49.720 it's still private ownership of these companies,
00:10:51.740 but they're importing people that destroy
00:10:53.900 and erode your American way of life.
00:10:57.240 Globalism stands opposite nationalism,
00:11:00.400 the prioritization and the love for the nation.
00:11:03.300 So instead of importing people from the third world
00:11:05.700 to come here to work for $45,000 a year,
00:11:07.860 you say, I want high-paying jobs
00:11:09.860 with good benefits for my nation,
00:11:12.480 for the people that live here.
00:11:14.280 And that then pits the workers versus the finance class.
00:11:18.280 Another way you could say it is the workers versus the oligarch.
00:11:21.900 So the new paradigm for those under 40s, they say, okay, great, we have freedom.
00:11:25.700 Great, we have capitalism.
00:11:27.020 I'm not free to own a home because the market dynamics are such that homes have been snapped
00:11:31.960 up by large private equity groups and I can't afford them anymore.
00:11:35.560 I can't get a good job because jobs have been replaced by all these individuals brought
00:11:40.040 in by these private companies from the third world.
00:11:42.240 And so you have to wrap your mind around. That is what the battle is today. Nationalism versus globalism. The workers versus the oligarchs. Who benefits from labor? Is it those who own the assets? The oligarchs? Those who own the software? Those who own the hardware? Those who own the technology? Those who own the manufacturing plants? Are they the ones that should benefit? Or should those that are on the line with families at home, depending on their labor, should they be the ones to benefit?
00:12:10.680 We're going to get down into a breakdown when you kind of combine this, the four different
00:12:14.000 options you have and where are American politics fall in it.
00:12:16.860 Wanted to open it up to you guys, though, for any comments.
00:12:19.340 There's something sacred about bedtime.
00:12:21.740 See, long after childhood has passed on by, your children will probably forget all the
00:12:26.980 toys that they had or the clothes that they wore, but they'll never forget the nights
00:12:31.200 that mom and dad tucked them in and prayed with them, immersing them even from the most
00:12:36.580 tender age in the word of God.

00:13:43.140 The modern food industry looked at our food and thought, hey, you know what beef needs?
00:13:47.560 More corn syrup, soy, preservatives, and ingredients that no one can actually pronounce.
00:13:53.340 it's almost impressive if you'd rather eat something that your great-grandfather would
00:13:58.700 actually recognize as food then check out paleo valley's 100 grass-fed beef sticks they're made
00:14:06.360 from 100 grass-fed and grass-finished beef packed with protein and they're the kind of snack that
00:14:13.140 you can keep in your truck your office or your backpack without feeling like you're eating
00:14:17.940 edible chemistry. So use code NXR at checkout for 15% off, or you can just click the link in
00:14:27.000 the description below to get started. That's Paleo Valley, because food should have ingredients,
00:14:33.740 not a rap sheet. Yeah, I would just say, I think the new dimension here, as we talk about the new
00:14:39.460 paradigm, I think the newest dimension is globalism. So if you think about nationalism,
00:14:43.760 so nationalism versus globalism. Nationalism is always kind of, I mean, in the West,
00:14:48.640 at least for many centuries, existed. And you always did still have the second dimension,
00:14:53.300 the workers versus the capitalist class, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat.
00:14:56.840 This concept is a little bit older. I mean, we've talked about this before, the aristocracy and the
00:15:02.380 noblesse oblige and the recognition that there's a Pareto principle at work here. And there will
00:15:07.960 always be some small percentage, 20% or whatever it is of the population who has 80% of the wealth
00:15:14.620 and 80% of the population who are, you know, working some kind of like, either way you cut
00:15:21.700 it, some kind of feudal system. And we have a feudal system in many ways today. Globalism,
00:15:26.260 my point is globalism is the new dimension here. And that's, that, that has kind of shaken it up
00:15:30.560 as far as it goes, because workers, I just want to point this out with today's aristocracy,
00:15:34.840 workers versus the capitalist class the capitalist class today does not belong to a nation
00:15:40.720 you have to understand that that's the problem the problem is i don't i don't have the statistic
00:15:45.980 in front of me but 20 30 percent of billionaires in america today probably aren't american and so
00:15:52.440 what interest do they have where there used to be this tension of noblesse oblige of the aristocracy
00:15:57.640 of the finance capital class having some interest vested interest in the people and saying and
00:16:03.820 money makes the world go around but these people make the money and and this system breaks if these
00:16:09.560 people are unhappy what do we get we get the french revolution and so this tension that's
00:16:13.100 always existed um and you know in violence and civil war and revolution it's always kind of been
00:16:19.660 mitigated by the notion of nationalism that we all are actually participating in one people as
00:16:25.420 one people and one system. And that's what's thrown that. This is why it's really interesting
00:16:29.920 because what do you do when the billionaire class is the billionaire class in China and their
00:16:34.860 friends are the billionaire class in America and in Europe, and they're all connected. This is what
00:16:39.840 we call the new world order. This is the system that, that we're really up against. I just want
00:16:44.560 to say quickly too, um, you talked about the $5,000, I think in the cold open and the Trump's
00:16:49.760 new thing. Um, and $5,000 doesn't seem like a lot of money. Uh, but if you're smart, that $5,000
00:16:56.720 is $50,000. And, and I'll tell you how you take the $5,000 and you invest it in Nike and Louis
00:17:04.120 Vuitton. That's how you, are you sure about that? Somehow it'll work. All right. So if you look on
00:17:10.660 your screen, you're going to see here, here are the different ways this is shaking out. So right
00:17:14.700 now you're experiencing what you could kind of call a populist revival, a populist surge. That's
00:17:19.440 your bottom half of the screen right now. That's your workers. Those that are coming up, this is
00:17:23.360 the grassroots saying, we demand our labor work for us. We demand to be paid. We're tired of these
00:17:28.900 CEOs being paid 20, 40 X multiples, what the average worker works. So to briefly go through
00:17:33.900 the top here, that's the working class. That's the grassroots, but the finance class plus
00:17:38.520 globalism, that's kind of what we have, or at least have had in the past. Technocratic oligarchy,
00:17:45.000 technology, enabling these oligarchs to just suck and absorb all of these assets and all of these
00:17:52.620 capital. It's kind of like the sandworms from Dune that just absorb and suck sand into themselves.
00:17:57.980 That's these big financial institutions, the oligarch class with capital, your Netflix,
00:18:02.820 your Amazon, your Meta. They are excellent at extracting from the people, extracting from them
00:18:08.700 wealth. And when you combine it with globalism, you import lots and lots and lots of people
00:18:13.580 to do the work for you to make it even more efficient. A finance class plus nationalism,
00:18:18.200 this isn't as common. This would be something like Russia. So your oligarchs, they keep their
00:18:22.940 wealth by generally staying loyal to the regime. You're not as much open trade. You're not as much
00:18:27.000 open on your borders. Again, Russia being a good example of this, but the oligarchs are still the
00:18:31.660 ones that benefit. They're still the ones that run things. They're still the ones that get things
00:18:35.680 done. They're still the ones that benefit. Here's our paradigm that we're experiencing going on
00:18:40.960 right now workers plus globalism democratic socialism this is the dsa think about zoran
00:18:48.040 mom donning and his campaign talking about for example child care for everyone now 40 36 40
00:18:55.180 of new york city is foreign born it's an insane amount new york city is this giant conglomerate
00:19:02.400 of all these nations and all these people and zoran mom donning won mind you i'm not talking
00:19:07.040 about a candidate who got 10% or 20% of the vote. The current mayor of New York City won by
00:19:12.380 campaigning on the promise of giving money out to everyone. This is democratic socialism. The
00:19:19.080 democratic part, I'm promising you money. I'm promising to pass on the proceeds to the workers
00:19:24.920 by means of the government. And it's globalist. It isn't interested in the family. It isn't
00:19:30.040 interested in the citizens of its country. It isn't interested in the heritage. It isn't
00:19:34.240 interested in anything of that. It's interested in how can I get the most people here? How can I
00:19:40.080 benefit them? How can I pass on the benefits? I think of Minnesota, for example, and the Somalians
00:19:44.580 there that have used the state to appropriate funds to all of their scams. How can I benefit
00:19:49.360 my ethnic group by first getting them in and then benefiting them? And then at the bottom,
00:19:53.980 you have workers plus nationalist, a type of national populism, family and worker benefits,
00:20:00.240 restrictive immigration so you're not globalist you're more nationalist and domestic industry
00:20:05.760 now i just walked you through with workers plus globalism so grassroots pro worker not proceeds
00:20:12.620 for the oligarch the worker plus globalism how do you get people to vote for that well i just told
00:20:18.340 you how you tell them i'm going to give you stuff i'm going to give you money how do you compete so
00:20:23.280 let's say i think jd vance generally has a much more nationalistic vision of america in his
00:20:28.960 personal politics than donald trump he's looking at the party he's younger and he says i understand
00:20:34.480 steve bannon said this the future is populist and the future is nationalist this is the direction
00:20:39.860 we need to go the sentiment on immigration is cooling but how is it that i get the working
00:20:46.180 class who's being promised stuff by the democratic socialist to vote for us and the answer at least
00:20:52.520 at this point is because we live in a democracy the answer at least this point is at some level
00:20:58.660 i have to pay them back when joe biden got elected i remember him saying on video we are going to
00:21:04.560 have an unending stream of black latino immigration unending hispanics coming into the country and
00:21:11.300 they did that they brought in tens of millions of people legally and illegally what was that
00:21:16.820 them rewarding their voters what have white men that put donald trump into office what have they
00:21:24.140 gotten oh 98 percent of job gains in august 98 an insane number went to women yeah it was a
00:21:32.040 i think 163 000 jobs added in the month of august 158 000 of them went to women insane and trump
00:21:39.180 here's the thing trump bragged about it ken paxton trump this is great this is great yeah
00:21:45.320 ken paxton bragged about it trump bragged about it uh what's his name general flynn or something
00:21:49.780 like that. Mike Flynn. Mike Flynn bragged about it. And then, you know, a couple of days later,
00:21:55.120 I just saw an interview where somebody, I forget who, but is asking, maybe it's Meg Kelly. I can't
00:22:01.740 remember, but somebody is asking Trump, you know, what are you going to do about the fact that,
00:22:05.760 you know, young male voters who voted for you now feel disenfranchised, you know, and are frustrated
00:22:12.280 and have turned against you that you've lost their support. And he, this is, this is days,
00:22:17.640 right there's days in between him bragging about well that's why women love me so much
00:22:22.540 because the economy that i'm building hired 98 percent women only two percent male and then
00:22:28.800 they're asked what are you going to do about the fact that men young men hate you and he's like
00:22:32.120 they don't hate me they love me and he says and they love me because i'm stopping i ran from
00:22:36.680 getting a nuke um it's i mean it's literally like it's that it's that meme where it's like
00:22:41.500 all right grandpa time time for you know to get you to bed you know like i mean trump is so out
00:22:47.080 of touch right now. He, I mean, I, and I don't know if it's because he's stupid. I don't think
00:22:52.540 he's stupid. I think he's just, he is surrounded by worm, worm tongues who are just whispering
00:23:00.880 lies into his ear, whether it's Mark Levin or Laura Loomer or whoever it is, but they're,
00:23:06.320 the young men love that you gave 98% of jobs to women because all they care about is you stopping
00:23:13.720 iran from it and trump literally believes this i mean it's like 100 of maga agrees with the iran
00:23:19.220 war some straw policy and he literally thinks that he really does maga agrees with me in reality
00:23:24.500 it's super unpopular and hated so here's the point the younger generation of which jd vance
00:23:29.500 is somewhat the forerunner here they're seeing the old paradigm's not going to work the other
00:23:34.300 side is offering stuff and so if you don't like it here's the deal trump five thousand dollar
00:23:38.920 checks to every adult for one he probably does not have the authority to do that that money will
00:23:43.220 be straight up printed it's 1.2 trillion dollars that will add to our deficit all else being equal
00:23:48.920 i would be happy to forego my five thousand dollars if there's a chance that my children
00:23:53.820 won't be forever saddled with the debt that eventually drags down all sorts of entitlements
00:23:58.160 all sorts of safety nets everything that their grandparents have been able to rely on this
00:24:03.040 episode is brought to you by greska's carbon 60 see sponsors like this are the only reason that
00:24:08.660 we can actually say what we say without having to ask permission. So humor me and give me just
00:24:14.400 one minute. Carbon-60 is a molecule made up of 60 carbon atoms. Chronic inflammation is what sits
00:24:21.760 underneath almost everything that slows a man down. Sore muscles, brain fog, low energy,
00:24:28.100 and most chronic diseases. And inflammation starts upstream with oxidative stress. That's
00:24:35.240 exactly where c60 works it supports your body's natural defenses against that stress faster
00:24:42.300 recovery energy that holds all day sharper focus it's the ultimate anti-inflammatory so go to c60.com
00:24:51.780 that's the letter c60.com and use code nxr for 20 off your first order c60.com use code nxr for
00:25:02.600 20% off. So we are not saying, and this is great. Now the family one, if we can get some
00:25:09.120 restrictions on it, we can talk about the, uh, the tier, the income that you need to qualify for
00:25:13.600 that. Right. Real quick. Let's talk about it. So with the family one, it's going to go to the gay
00:25:17.660 family that adopted, you know, two boys. They notice the gay men, they always adopt boys. Huh?
00:25:23.580 Isn't that funny? It's always boys. I Pete Buttigieg, you know, like whoever it is,
00:25:28.520 it's always boys. But if we could just take that aside for a second, so maybe don't include the
00:25:34.660 sodomites in this policy. And then aside from that, don't put a tier on household income.
00:25:42.640 If you have one parent staying at home, ideally it should be the mother, but I'm willing to be
00:25:48.280 a total lib on this one. Say it could even be a stay-at-home dad, just as long as it's not two
00:25:52.740 dads, you know, just one dad, one mom. Um, but if it's a stay at home parent, $9,000 a pop for each
00:26:00.420 child annually with a, a one income household where one parent is staying at home. Um, not the
00:26:07.780 worst thing in the world, but here's the deal. Um, from what we're, and again, it's pretty ambiguous.
00:26:12.700 This is a new idea. There's not a lot of details, but the scuttlebug, right? The whisper, whisper
00:26:17.320 rumors seem like it's going to be a cap of that one income being a hundred grand, maybe as low
00:26:23.500 as 75 grand. It would probably depend on your state, the number of kids. It's not high.
00:26:27.480 The majority of families in my church, for instance, who are not rich, certainly not under
00:26:32.360 Trump's economy. And they weren't rich under Biden's economy either. It's been a little rough
00:26:37.100 for a bit. But those families who are making, you know, they have five kids, they're homeschooling
00:26:41.940 their kids mom's staying at home they only have one income and they're making 80 grand 80 grand
00:26:47.880 with five kids um these these are families that are barely scraping by and we're going to say you
00:26:54.620 know what you're too successful you work too hard we should penalize you you don't you don't get
00:27:01.800 considered for this but this other family where it's like well i'm doing door dash you know and
00:27:07.780 and mom staying at home and we make 30. I keep my job on average for about a month and a half.
00:27:11.980 But then think about that. If you think about it, so if it's five kids in both families,
00:27:15.740 so one family makes 40 grand and the other family makes 80 grand. If the threshold is 75K
00:27:20.360 a year in terms of the income, one makes 40, one makes 80, then this 80 gets nothing. If they each
00:27:26.760 have five kids, five times nine, 45. So now this family gets $85,000, their income plus the 45.
00:27:33.300 this family has 80 um this one was working harder do you know what that's going to incentivize you
00:27:38.920 know what i would do if i was making 80 grand take a job for 45 i i would work less yeah i would work
00:27:46.060 a little bit less i would take a pay cut i would you know and i would make sure and that's the
00:27:50.600 incentive i would i would be thinking um i i i can never work hard enough to make more than 75 grand
00:27:57.400 because the moment that i do i literally have six kids i'm losing 50k 50k so like my boss offers me
00:28:06.400 a promotion hey you're gonna have to come in you're gonna have to work a little bit later work
00:28:10.080 a little harder but we're gonna pay you 100k and right now you only make 74k what do i say
00:28:15.080 no thank you no thank you i mean that's what the welfare state does right it incentivizes the
00:28:21.500 middle class less work and this has been the reality in america since the 60s the the middle
00:28:26.600 class is the bedrock of the american system um but but and and say what you will i'm just going
00:28:32.340 to say it say what you will about fdr and we all know that the conservative dogmas uh fdr is terrible
00:28:38.360 ruin the country we all know what ben shapiro thinks about fdr just bear with me what if ben
00:28:42.500 shapiro's wrong no what if what if to some extent actually uh fdr's great new deal helped build and
00:28:48.540 establish the american middle class coming out of the capitalist versus union sort of debacle that
00:28:55.040 was represented in the 10s and the 20s after World War I, too. What if some of those policies
00:29:00.860 actually helped? Just hear me out. And you build the middle class, and you're talking about now
00:29:05.660 50, 60% of the American people are in this spot, income ranging from the 30th percentile all the
00:29:15.200 way up to the 75th percentile. And then you get LBJ, along with it comes the welfare system and
00:29:22.420 all of these things that incentivize exactly what you're talking about. And what have we seen since
00:29:27.540 that? We've seen the widening wealth divide, right? We've seen rich people get richer, poor people
00:29:32.660 get poorer. That's what everyone's complaining about. And it's like, well, we've also seen a
00:29:36.480 breakdown of the family. So if I'm the state and I say, you know what, single moms, not stay at home
00:29:42.500 moms, but single moms will get this kind of financial incentive. And I'm a black woman and
00:29:48.140 i'm pregnant with my boyfriend's you know child and then he proposes i said i'm sorry i financially
00:29:55.760 cannot afford to marry you why because i trust this state to provide for me more than i trust
00:30:01.380 a black man to so it incentivizes i and that's not my opinion that's black women's oh yeah that's
00:30:08.780 black women's opinion their opinion is i trust the state to send me a check more than black men
00:30:14.280 And so the point is, we don't like, for all the reasons we stated, whether it's the hang-ups on who's actually eligible for this child pass-through child care credit, whether it's the $5,000 that's going to be printed out of thin air, whether it's the welfare system that enables and encourages single motherhood, we don't like the government administrating these things out.
00:30:33.500 It should be men working for privately owned companies, receiving their wages that have not been taxed to death.
00:30:38.960 But here is the problem.
00:30:40.920 Let's do it.
00:30:41.440 We live in a democracy.
00:30:42.460 Democracy.
00:30:42.900 And we live within not just a democracy where the people have a say in their governance, but universal suffrage.
00:30:47.920 Felons can vote.
00:30:48.700 People that arrived here five years ago can vote.
00:30:50.640 Women can vote.
00:30:51.580 All sorts of people, people with a barely functioning brain that do not know the history of our government,
00:30:57.120 that don't even understand what a republic is, are told by Amazon and told by Apple that it is your civic duty to get out there and vote.
00:31:03.880 And they literally get out there and vote, and they vote for a person whose last name looks closest to their ethnic group.
00:31:08.960 And so while you have that system, I don't like these handouts either.
00:31:12.120 I think they're bad for our debt. I think they're bad for the family. I think they encourage all of these deadbeats under your hundred thousand dollar cutoff. I don't like it for those reasons. But you have to understand. You have to think and realize you have no other shot because if you want to get rid of democracy, what you have to go to is a dominant party rule. El Salvador is a great example of this.
00:31:31.900 the president of el salvador with a 95 approval rating he doesn't have to give handouts to get
00:31:38.200 people to vote for him because he took over he leveraged power and he's done a great job and
00:31:43.140 people there are safe people there are happy people there can keep the results of their wages
00:31:47.100 but as long as you're in this democracy they can't get rid of him and also they love him
00:31:52.380 you know it's funny but like because he's a good leader but no you're you're absolutely right when
00:31:57.540 you think of universal suffrage, you're saying like anyone can vote. The fact that we have
00:32:02.960 universal suffrage where men can vote, women can vote, every single race can vote. The moment that
00:32:08.620 you become a citizen, you say, I've been a citizen of America for 15 minutes. I don't even speak
00:32:15.540 English. These voting instructions are given in Spanish. You literally go to the voting booth and
00:32:19.800 it's like, it's in Korean, it's in Spanish, it's in all these different languages. But then that's
00:32:25.320 one thing. But then on top of that, we have, we have entire cities, large cities in America
00:32:30.800 that refuse to ID people for voting. They refuse. So they're, they're literally, their policy,
00:32:37.080 they're literally saying, if you're not a citizen, we promise not to check. So they're, so they're
00:32:43.940 actually saying, just make sure, right. If you live in New York, make sure to drive a little bit
00:32:47.960 and come over here and cast your vote as a non-citizen and do it illegally. And we will
00:32:52.720 not penalize you we will actually take your vote um that's why the save act real quick was was so
00:32:57.960 so i think if we had passed the save act we would still be cooked but we'd be cooked a little slower
00:33:04.120 you know like we we'd still be in trouble because you you still have men and women voting and you
00:33:09.460 have all these different people groups and blah blah blah but we like that was like the save act
00:33:14.560 was like the most like you talk about moderate positions it was like the most milk toast moderate
00:33:20.820 liberal inclusive position could we just ask for their name yeah the save act people don't know
00:33:29.060 their names yeah save act was literally like uh haitians can vote somalians can vote we just need
00:33:34.240 you to be a paper american first and women of course they can vote and this can vote you know
00:33:40.500 but we just all we need you to do is have your paperwork in order that's the save act and america
00:33:45.260 looked at that and said racist right this is a fascist nazi americans the senate they refused
00:33:52.500 to pass it of a bunch of oligarch funded politicians that have spent their entire
00:33:57.320 careers there getting kickbacks so that's who doesn't want my point is it really is it's not
00:34:03.340 if but when it's not if but when the moment that you have uh not no longer a republic republic
00:34:10.660 with democratic elements, but the Republic devolves into a raw democracy. And that democracy
00:34:16.240 is coupled with universal suffrage. And that universal suffrage is also further coupled
00:34:21.640 with entire, some of the largest cities in America, blue cities, not even checking someone's
00:34:27.760 driver's license or qualifications. They don't need a driver's license because you don't need
00:34:31.720 to drive there. We'll actually just send you the ballot and maybe you can't use a pencil.
00:34:35.120 So we'll just have it pre-filled for you. Right. So we'll bus you to the location. You don't have
00:34:40.480 a car we'll bust you right that's right so the moment that you do that again it's not if but
00:34:45.660 when um voting will devolve government will devolve elected officials will entirely devolve
00:34:53.300 into uh bribery that's it's literally just one politician versus another this politician says
00:34:59.620 i'll give white people stuff to black people the other guy says i'll give black people stuff to
00:35:05.600 white people. Now in American context, no one has ever said that once, not once. But, but this is,
00:35:13.000 this is my thing. You, you want, you want identity politics, right? And a lot of people don't, but
00:35:18.400 some people do like you want identity politics. You want one politician in America to finally
00:35:23.320 have the co cojones to say, uh, I'm going to actually benefit white people. We actually are
00:35:31.180 bright side right silver lining here uh we're actually on a trajectory for that to happen
00:35:35.720 because white people are still it's a slim margin but white people are still currently the majority
00:35:40.640 in the country and eventually one of these politicians is going to say screw it i can win
00:35:46.360 every election ever in the world by simply saying not just family two parent families with a stay
00:35:53.380 at home but like no i'm just gonna say it elect me and i'll give white people stuff boom he will
00:35:59.780 win every election forever forever and uh the only reason he won it is because half of those
00:36:06.060 white people happen to be white women and their greatest calling in life is to destroy their own
00:36:11.120 race um they're the most suicidal people in the world they're like this person would be good for
00:36:15.220 white people i'm white my kids are white i'm i have to destroy him because he might help my people
00:36:21.560 and i need my people to suffer and die so white women would still be um a hindrance standing in
00:36:26.600 the way. But eventually, my point is, that's what's going to happen. So the very civil war
00:36:31.180 division and factions and identity politics and race divides that everybody says, we don't want
00:36:36.860 that. We don't want that. You're going to get that. And this is why. You're going to get it
00:36:41.740 because of democracy. If you think democracy is some kind of inherent virtue, you've been lied to.
00:36:51.080 Democracy, it's not just that it's not inherently virtuous. I'll go further. I believe it is
00:36:56.440 inherently wicked democracy always devolves into factions division and civil war democracy is evil
00:37:05.820 and it is destroying our country because it assumes everyone is a blank slate that everyone
00:37:10.760 has all the faculties all the reason all the logic all the training all the background to fully
00:37:16.320 participate in politics absolutely not 80 of the population has no business they need to know the
00:37:22.540 basics they need to know who the president is and they need to know the laws they do know how the
00:37:26.180 faculties they don't have the time nor should we demand of them the time all your ancient greek
00:37:30.500 city states men did the politics and it was only a certain class of men men that had the time to
00:37:36.260 learn and to think about it democracy says all of you should participate which is just
00:37:40.820 it's egalitarianism it is everything is completely level everyone and people just real quick west is
00:37:47.840 making a great point and people always assume this like we've had this discussion in the past
00:37:51.820 And the most common comment, you know, in the YouTube chat is always, well, and Joel thinks that he should be able to vote and no one else can.
00:37:59.920 My dear brothers and sisters, my fellow Americans, I will give up my vote in a heartbeat if it makes you have to give up yours too.
00:38:10.080 Thank you.
00:38:10.800 If the rule was, it must be a man with property and seven children and none of us at this table could vote.
00:38:16.540 There would be tears in my eyes.
00:38:18.280 They'd take my voter registration card.
00:38:20.360 It'd be amazing.
00:38:21.100 tear it up my tuesday in november is free we never have to worry again we would never have
00:38:25.960 to worry again i trust that guy to vote yeah i trust him to have he's smarter than you he's more
00:38:32.500 virtuous than you it's like you're saying he's a better person no i'm saying he is he is massively
00:38:38.820 a better person he is so much of a better person than you are property he's not a felon he has
00:38:43.080 seven kids oh my goodness we'd be in good hands but the point is democrat socialists are surging
00:38:48.240 you are just well i don't like that then you're going to lose forever forever that's what's going
00:38:54.120 to happen all these conservatives hate she doesn't get it um but like you know what like there is a
00:39:00.380 part of me i gotta be honest like we've we've gotten to twitter spat i can't even remember what
00:39:04.860 it was about i think i told her she was criticizing me and i told her to to make me an apple pie and
00:39:10.820 then that that ended up going viral and now everybody she loved it though now every time
00:39:14.660 like women are in people's social media comments disagreement people still are saying like apple
00:39:19.140 or pumpkin or pecan like and that i i just have to say i started that you did that i'm proud of that
00:39:24.820 that was a wonderful trend is one of my better social media moments uh viral moments but all
00:39:30.260 that aside right giving her the benefit of the doubt she seems like a sweet lady and um and you
00:39:36.120 know what her instinct is when she comes out and says this is socialism i'm against what jd vance
00:39:40.480 is is purporting in the night you know what that's that is her her default tea party setting
00:39:46.640 god bless her like god bless her you know what i mean like that that is not the word she is a true
00:39:52.000 blue conservative she's thinking in that traditional paradigm she's like this is not what we need to
00:39:57.420 we do not as a country need to rack up debt we do not need to take one person's stuff and give it to
00:40:02.720 another you know what i agree with all that yeah the physical conservatism actually makes sense
00:40:07.360 So I just want to say, just for the record, for your Dana Loesch's out there and others that would agree with her, I want to be really clear because people keep misunderstanding us on this topic.
00:40:16.480 We're not advocating for socialism.
00:40:18.900 We're saying that so long as we remain a democracy, you don't have a choice.
00:40:24.800 And it's actually not our preference.
00:40:26.960 It does not excite me.
00:40:29.500 I am not in support of J.D. Vance being forced
00:40:33.800 to make bribes to one sector of the population
00:40:37.740 because the other sector is getting bribes from Mondawmi.
00:40:41.540 I'm not in support of that.
00:40:43.600 I don't like that.
00:40:44.480 However, notice the way I worded it,
00:40:46.780 J.D. Vance is, I'm not in support of what he's doing,
00:40:49.860 but I do recognize it is what he has to do
00:40:52.960 or he cannot win.
00:40:54.380 Exactly.
00:40:54.840 If one side says free stuff
00:40:57.260 And the other side says, um, pull yourself up by your bootstraps.
00:41:01.800 And also you won't have any bootstraps because we will outsource all the jobs to someone
00:41:07.700 else.
00:41:08.020 It will brag about 98% of them going to women.
00:41:10.680 And, and you know what, here's the, the fine print.
00:41:14.020 And a lot of those women weren't even Americans.
00:41:16.820 A lot of those women were from India.
00:41:18.760 A lot of those women were like, so it's actually, that sounds bad.
00:41:22.240 Only 2% of men in August getting the jobs.
00:41:24.720 It's actually even worse than that.
00:41:26.240 you you bright-eyed bushy-tailed naive son of a gun uh you think we were talking about american
00:41:32.400 women no it's not white women no of course not of course not percent hispanic yes and then 30
00:41:38.500 percent somalian like so but if that's the lay of the land economically and democracy is the lay of
00:41:45.580 the land raw democracy universal suffrage politically then socialism is what you're
00:41:51.140 gonna get and i'll be honest i don't again don't like it i'll be honest i'm surprised it has taken
00:41:56.860 the gop this long to figure it out white white evangelicals put donald trump in office twice
00:42:03.400 and they have never they have never been so much as thanked they have never been rewarded trump
00:42:09.460 catered all sorts of black voters they have never once received anything for that vote it's kind of
00:42:15.580 insane it's kind of this calvinist mentality of i'm just going to take my head down and suffer
00:42:19.520 and never be thanked and just keep taking the blows and this is what I got to do to get through
00:42:23.300 this life. White voters, white evangelicals have never been rewarded for their vote. And so the
00:42:29.100 first time they're getting probably some breadcrumbs, like honestly, let's be honest,
00:42:33.300 Atlanta, $9,000 per child below $70,000 a year. We know where most of that money's going. We know
00:42:39.320 where most of those types of families. White evangelicals? Black evangelicals, still evangelical.
00:42:45.120 And it'll hit some for sure in the Midwest, Rust Belt states and everything. Well, there's not
00:42:48.420 really such a thing as black evangelicals like you know there's like one or two daryl harrison
00:42:53.640 god bless you you know like virgil walker god bless you you know but you got some you got some
00:42:57.680 black church it's it's mainly black protestants they're not necessarily evangelicals a lot of
00:43:03.540 these black protestants just just doing one of these actuallys for a moment humor me um but most
00:43:09.500 of your black christians um are not actually in the evangelical bucket they're in the black
00:43:16.740 mainline protestant bucket which is much more word of faith heretical or it's um like a mainline
00:43:23.500 protestant that's liberal it wouldn't i and i wish there were more black and that group voted i
00:43:28.800 forget there's 60 70 for kamala so this group is going to get tons of handouts didn't even vote for
00:43:34.240 donald trump didn't even vote for jd vance but so for the first time some white evangelical voters
00:43:39.560 of the working class are going to get some level of trickle down and your first response as the gop
00:43:45.720 is prepared to lose the midterms this is socialism cut it off no free handouts we believe in small
00:43:52.440 government in this house yeah you're going to lose which it made sense right like at one point
00:43:57.420 totally you were you were a white evangelical voting bloc that was like relatively wealthy
00:44:02.400 wealthy think gen x boomers you're actually doing pretty well and so the paradigm for you is don't
00:44:08.020 take my money and give it to other people and what what would what would necessitate that you'd need
00:44:12.720 small government you need a government that's unable to but the reality is like this is where
00:44:17.360 the demographic uh generational divide you can just see it plain and clear right because if
00:44:22.620 you're a younger white evangelical you're broke we're we're well past your jobs being shipped
00:44:29.020 overseas we're well past ai and h1b's replacing you at work and you know white collar job like
00:44:35.360 we're well past that and it's like i think to the old paradigm uh boomer gen x white evangelical
00:44:41.980 they still can't really wrap their heads around that that being a reality right right and so so
00:44:48.320 that's and that's what it and so as you see the republican party starting to adapt a little bit
00:44:52.580 and jd vance is going to have to because it's just a younger demographic it's like 7 000 boomers
00:44:56.940 dying a day he's got to start to actually address this issue before it would have been at minimum
00:45:02.500 it's like and this was what trump was you know he was a political cultural populist in his first
00:45:07.180 term that's what he ran on he wasn't really an economic populist if we're being honest no um but
00:45:11.500 but now it's like the game has totally changed and uh we're gonna see like you said it's the
00:45:16.840 this is where we're going yeah it's inevitable yep so i i sent out a tweet a few days ago i said um
00:45:22.080 our constitutional republic is gone in a raw democracy which is what we currently have
00:45:27.120 buying votes is the chief winning strategy democrats embrace it permanent advantage
00:45:33.840 republicans reject it permanent disadvantage then i put with an asterisk trying to emphasize this
00:45:40.780 last sentence here conservatives must accept socialism or not end or reject democracy and
00:45:50.320 immediately what i had in my comments and everybody you know quote tweeting me and stuff
00:45:54.180 was conservative saying joel is a christian pastor advocating for socialism my response of course is
00:46:01.760 are you retarded do you know how to read conservatives must accept socialism or reject
00:46:09.280 democracy. Now, I'll give it to the viewer for a moment. Which one of those two options do you
00:46:14.460 think I personally advocate for? Embracing socialism or getting rid of democracy? It is,
00:46:21.820 of course, the latter. Now, that said, not as a prescription what we ought or should morally do,
00:46:28.520 but as a prediction what will inevitably happen. And likely by virtue not of morality but necessity
00:46:36.900 What will happen is that to get rid of democracy, or at least the element of raw democracy, everyone can vote, even if you're not a citizen, just drive to this city, whatever.
00:46:49.960 What we have now, in order to get rid of that democracy, you're going to have to have a Bukele-like figure who actually comes in and takes power and so victoriously, so thoroughly, that it disrupts the two-party system, that the people love him because he's cleaned up crime, he's cleaned up immigration, he's cleaned up all, he's bolstered the economy, all these different things.
00:47:16.940 they love him and they say, you know what? Crown him king. Now in our American context,
00:47:21.920 we're never going to do that because we hate the word king. But even in the El Salvadorian context,
00:47:27.820 they still don't call him King Bukele. Functionally, he's kind of a king, but they still
00:47:32.120 call him President Bukele. And so it would have to be that type of figure and that kind of landslide
00:47:38.300 victory and that kind of groundswell populism because the people are flourishing. And then
00:47:45.580 And then once that kind of victory has been established, then that guy can get rid of democracy.
00:47:51.580 But here's the deal.
00:47:52.880 We'll get rid of at least the abuses of it, the more extreme, raw democracy forms that we're talking about in this episode.
00:47:58.580 You know what I mean?
00:47:59.860 But here's the deal.
00:48:01.020 In order for that guy to come into power and for it not to be a guy on the left, like Mundami, but for it to be a guy on the right,
00:48:10.300 what is he going to have to do as a means before that end, right?
00:48:15.160 what is he going to have to do between A and Z? In the meantime, he is going to have to fight
00:48:20.760 fire with fire because his political opponents are giving away free stuff for votes. And so he's
00:48:28.680 going to have to do some of that too. I'm not saying again, prescription, this is morally right.
00:48:34.700 These means are justified by the end. I'm not saying that. That's a debate. But what I'm saying
00:48:40.800 in not a prescription, but a prediction, that's probably what's going to happen. So,
00:48:47.120 buckle up, be prepared. You should not be surprised, right? If you're greatly offended
00:48:53.640 that J.D. Vance is articulating something that sounds a lot like socialism, because
00:48:58.740 let's be honest, it's a little like socialism. Once again, we know who the culprit is.
00:49:05.560 uh universal suffrage 19th amendment democracy uh that's what you can blame uh when in doubt
00:49:16.020 right if you see a problem happening in your country and you want someone to blame
00:49:20.060 blame the 19th amendment blame universal suffrage blame democracy um so i just would like to see
00:49:28.860 so dana loesch god bless her heart her instincts i actually share those what i'd love for her to
00:49:33.760 see, though, is, or what I'd love to see from her, is I'd love to see half the vitriol that she has
00:49:40.520 towards socialism against the political system of democracy that makes socialism inevitable.
00:49:47.360 That's the connection. That's what we want you to understand from this episode. Thank you so much
00:49:50.940 for tuning in. We appreciate it. God bless you. And we'll see you again next time, Lord willing.
