00:00:00.000 Jesus said, man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
00:00:07.300 You're listening to Daily Truth.
00:00:12.200 The Reformation has taught us that a person is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
00:00:21.940 According to the scripture alone, for the glory of God alone.
00:00:25.100 It's all alone.
00:00:26.000 alone. We're not saved by works, and we're not saved by faith plus works. But the reformers
00:00:32.980 espoused this key principle. We are saved by faith alone, but a faith, a genuine faith,
00:00:42.520 a real faith that actually saves, is never alone. It will always be accompanied by its twin sister,
00:00:50.260 if you will, good works. We are saved by faith alone, not by faith plus works. It is God's work
00:00:58.680 alone. He gets all the glory because he does all the work. We are saved by faith alone, but faith
00:01:06.700 that saves will always be evidenced by good works. Our good works do not save us, but they are the
00:01:14.880 evidence of faith which saves us. Our good works are the fruit of the root which is faith.
00:01:24.780 Oh, hi. I didn't see you there. Thanks for sticking around. I've got an important announcement to make.
