There is a general promise given to the church, the people of God, in this gospel dispensation, this church age, right here in this moment of history, before Christ's physical final return. That we will not only win in every generation, but that we will win despite a losing church, and that Christ will return for the kingdom to be handed over to the father.

00:00:00.000 Jesus said, man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
00:00:07.240 You're listening to Daily Truth.
00:00:11.440 I believe that there is a general promise given to the church, the people of God,
00:00:18.000 in this gospel dispensation, this church age, right now, right here, that we win.
00:00:26.000 That we win down here.
00:00:27.760 that doesn't mean we win every battle that doesn't mean we win in every generation
00:00:34.260 that doesn't mean we win in every nation but that there is a general promise not only that
00:00:41.020 Christ will return and that will win despite a losing church but that Christ will return
00:00:47.960 for the kingdom to be handed over to the father that there is a sense in which it will be complete
00:00:55.400 upon his return. Not incomplete, then instantly made complete at his return, but that progressively
00:01:02.780 Christ is doing it. It all belongs to him. It's all his glory, his power, his doing, but Christ
00:01:10.780 moving in and through his people. Christ to his head of the church, working through his body here
00:01:17.100 on earth, accomplishing all his will on earth as it is in heaven, proving that the Lord's prayer was
00:01:24.720 not assigned to us as an arbitrary exercise, but that we were actually to pray for something that
00:01:30.920 the Lord intends to answer. And that progressively throughout human history in this gospel age,
00:01:38.740 that enemies will be in fact subjected to Christ's feet. I believe that. And I believe that Roe is an
00:01:46.440 example of that. And I believe in a larger sense that abortion and all its hideous shapes and forms 0.89
00:01:53.740 will prove to be another example of that.
00:01:57.240 That there will be a time
00:01:58.760 where people will say,
00:02:01.180 can you believe that anyone ever thought
00:02:04.920 that this was permissible,
00:02:06.740 much less moral?
00:02:09.820 And that that rhetoric,
00:02:11.280 that discourse will not just be
00:02:13.360 the discourse of the redeemed
00:02:15.780 after Christ returns,
00:02:17.540 but in this moment of history,
00:02:19.880 before Christ's physical final return,
00:02:22.420 that people here in this world, in this gospel age,
00:02:25.860 would say abortion is hideous,
00:02:28.780 and we will never, ever allow it again.
00:02:33.540 I believe likewise it will be said socialism is hideous,
00:02:39.060 and it will never, ever be allowed again.
00:02:43.260 Communism, which I repeat myself,
00:02:46.620 but communism, like socialism, is hideous,
00:02:49.360 and it will never be permitted again.
00:02:52.420 One by one, enemies will be subjected.
