00:02:26.240 for the split is the Falloki. So basically, does the Holy Spirit, Augustine, this is one of the
00:02:32.440 things that he got into, St. Augustine, but does the Holy Spirit proceed from the Father alone,
00:02:37.320 or does the Holy Spirit proceed from both the Father and the Son? Both Catholics and Protestants,
00:02:43.780 such as myself, whether you be Baptist or Presbyterian or Anglican or whatever it might be,
00:02:50.160 we believe that the Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son, whereas Eastern Orthodoxy
00:02:56.520 would deny that and say that the Spirit proceeds from the Father alone. Does this matter?
00:03:02.320 Processions within the Godhead? Yeah, we're talking about theology proper. We're talking
00:03:06.740 about doctrine of God. It does matter. Processions of the three persons of the Trinity do in fact
00:03:12.060 to matter. But my suspicion, and many biblical scholars and, you know, historians, theological
00:03:19.180 historians would say that, you know, what really was at play was, it was a battle of authority.
00:03:24.520 So they made a theological argument that does matter and has validity. But really underneath
00:03:30.220 that thin veil was the real issue of who's in charge. And so, you know, in order to split,
00:03:37.440 They, you know, they, you know, hung their hat on the fallokia, you know, who, who does
00:03:41.420 the spirit proceed from the father alone or both the son and the father.

00:04:11.260 Christ, like a painting, right? But it can't be 3D. It can be a 2D image, but it can't be a 3D
00:04:18.680 image. It can't be an actual carved image, graven image, like a statue. And so, whereas Rome would
00:04:25.940 say that's fine, because Rome has just completely discarded the second commandment. And what they
00:04:30.860 do, you know, because it's like, you can't have nine commandments, that's pretty obvious. So to
00:04:34.480 pull the wool over people's eyes, to still have 10 commandments in Exodus 20, what they do is they
00:04:38.880 skip the second commandment. So they go first, straight from the first, thou shalt have no other
00:04:43.560 gods before me to the third. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord God in vain. And then to get
00:04:49.000 10 commandments, what they do is they take the 10th commandment, thou shalt not covet, and they break
00:04:52.580 that up into two commandments. Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's wife, and then thou shalt not
00:04:56.840 covet your neighbor's stuff, his house or his male servant or female servant or his ox or his donkey
