00:00:10.520all right welcome back to our third episode now this is going to be a four-part series
00:00:33.520and we're covering all the bases but we are really just exploring and and trying to clarify0.95
00:00:41.000what it is to be a part of the new christian right we believe that the gop has failed us
00:00:48.060miserably that we are coming up on inevitably having to pay the piper because of compromise
00:00:55.040because of betrayal because of all these different things trying to outline a new trajectory a new
00:01:00.800path we've talked about um the new christian right what that looks like where the old right has
00:01:05.740failed where some of the new uh christian right is certainly new but not so much christian and
00:01:11.380some of the pitfalls there and then we've talked about what are the distinctives you know what
00:01:15.540how putting meat on the bones how would we define what we're trying to do so we've been talking
00:01:21.160about four pillars we've been talking about christian nationalism um our second episode if
00:01:26.300you go back uh that's we spent an hour um outlining christian nationalism how tall do i have to be to
00:01:32.920ride the ride how christian nationalist do i have to be to be on the broader coalition the team
00:01:37.040uh where are we at personally um as an organization and um are there any breaks on on the train are
00:01:45.120we just gonna is the far right going to go to the right indefinitely or is there actually
00:01:49.440a a calculated destination um what does it mean to hide your power levels you know how much of your
00:01:56.100positions are actually still just being hidden in the back room or are you actually saying what
00:02:01.300you mean all of these things are are what we've been covering and today we kind of want to move
00:02:06.140on christian nationalism these four pillars christian nationalism then biblical patriarchy
00:02:10.940or masculine leadership uh then race realism and anti-zionism um these are the three that we've yet
00:02:17.860to cover right so this biblical patriarchy or masculine leadership race realism and anti-zionism
00:02:23.580And so today we're going to be focusing on that second pillar, patriarchy, masculine leadership, male headship, men at the front of the line, men leading the way.
00:02:36.040And again, kind of defining terms, patriarchy, and then showing the sliding scale because we want to win and we want to win in real life and not just in a signal chat with 17 people.
00:02:46.980And so in order to do that, we recognize we need numbers, we need a broad coalition, and yet at the same time, it can't be so broad that we compromise all of our convictions and our values.
00:02:56.820So there's a sliding scale for each of these four pillars.
00:03:01.300On this pillar of patriarchy, how tall do I have to be to ride the ride?
00:06:02.400But it's God's good order for our lives.
00:06:05.160God created men and women differently for a purpose.
00:06:08.020Men are to provide and protect women and children.
00:06:11.240And women are to nurture and to engage with children in a different way, to form them in the faith, to train them to be good Christians.
00:06:18.980Well, and the point is, is that because women have a natural biological tendency to be swayed emotionally, in the same way that maybe men have a natural biological tendency to be swayed towards anger, their basis of relationship is based on fear.
00:14:45.240It came from Christianity. Freedom for women came through Christianity.0.53
00:14:47.940Exactly, and that's what we have to embrace. And of course, it gets complicated because
00:14:53.560there were actual like technological developments that have changed the station of women, right?1.00
00:14:58.200They are not required to stay in the home or else everybody's going to get a disease and die. Like1.00
00:15:03.060that's how it used to be. That has changed. We have to, you know, figure out how to work with
00:15:07.100that. But a lot of, I think the promotion of patriarchy is in response to the excesses of
00:15:14.140feminism, which have destroyed women obviously, and ruined the empathetic parts of them, which0.94
00:15:19.760should be uh you know fostered and i mean that's what you need to raise kids if you have kids it's
00:15:25.280like i i blame it on my on my sex but you know i do not have the patience that my wife does i just
00:15:31.980don't i wish i did yeah you're not biologically made the same way i were just not i'm just not0.92
00:15:36.580fit to you know endure the annoyances that my wife is able to endure with with total placidity0.99
00:15:42.380um but the other thing is that you know both of my grandmothers had college degrees they both1.00
00:15:47.780chose to be stay-at-home wives. This idea that our grandparents were stuck in some
00:15:53.940superstitious, like, oh, we just have to be stay-at-home wives or we'll go to hell. No,
00:16:00.740no, no. They had the option. They had college degrees. They could have gone off and got jobs.
00:16:04.220They understood that actually the best role for them was in the home. That was where they were
00:16:08.620most fulfilled. That was where they were best served. It was a conscious choice, not because
00:16:13.220of some mindless adherence to tradition but the understanding that that tradition has delivered us
00:16:18.140the best way to form families the best way to create a society and there's there's more and
00:16:21.940more millennial women that are waking up finally because they were the last generation to be fooled1.00
00:16:25.720by feminism at such a deep level that they're waking up to the point realizing that essentially1.00
00:16:31.020there's a quote i forgot maybe it's drucker or someone said that like success at the wrong thing
00:16:35.300is failure and i think a lot of women have found out that they've succeeded like um they've climbed
00:16:42.480the ladder and they realize they're on the wrong building and they're like whoa and they're 37 and
00:16:48.700they're like my window for for motherhood is is really about to close and so they panic they freak
00:16:54.800out they get angry and then they start speaking out against feminism and so it really is truly
00:17:00.280again we have all of historical precedent we have all a biblical precedent um what you talked about
00:17:04.900joel is the implicit versus explicit so yes explicit for for the for the uh the home and the
00:17:10.660church but in the state if you can look you go before any feminist here screams you know
00:17:16.220watching the show let them scream it's what they do right um but the reality is is every king of
00:17:23.460israel was a man every scribe every prophet every uh you know the father's uh well to steal men for
00:17:31.240them there were some female prophetesses and there were some female deacons correct so yeah
00:17:35.120and i'm thinking like biblical prophets as in terms of uh but the ones who who spoke to kings
00:17:40.820and call them to account but you're right yes and so you also have this is one thing i thought was
00:17:46.200you know if if christ wanted women to be the model for leadership he chose 12 men right obviously
00:17:51.460that's in the church realm again but i think that the overwhelming in fact we also know the
00:17:56.120passage of scripture that says that uh that women rule over you women and children rule over you
00:18:01.880That's Isaiah chapter 2 and 3, and it names it as a judgment.
00:18:07.280So how do you know that a particular nation, a particular people is under God's judgment for sinning against him, apostatizing against the Lord Jesus Christ?0.75
00:18:16.080One of the judgments is both women and children will rule over you, also that foreigners will rule over you.
00:18:23.440he literally says the foreigner among you the sojourner among you who is not native to you0.80
00:18:28.540he will increase and increase while you will decrease and decrease he will become the lender0.81
00:18:35.400does this ring a bell you will be the borrower right so the person who is not native to your
00:18:42.980people all of a sudden he's in control of the centralized banks you're the one taking loans
00:18:49.440from him he can like wait a second the judges and and the people that are ruling society are
00:18:56.060are 20 in terms of influence or you know at our church we have very few young people it's a very
00:19:02.340unfortunate reality the vast majority of our church is under the age of 40 people sometimes
00:19:07.260think oh that's great no it's not great i want a multi-generational church where we have the
00:19:11.520wisdom of older men but the problem is that those older boomers tend to find themselves more loyal
00:19:16.460to liberalism they are to christianity yeah and so we we do we have this situation where
00:19:20.720the united states is under a judgment for its fornication its adultery for its abortion for0.98
00:19:28.060its pornography for its uh liberalism all of these homosexuality homosexuality all of it is there0.98
00:19:33.380and and yeah so so you were talking joel is that you have the entry point which i think would be0.95
00:19:38.580something like well i believe that marriage is between a man and a woman and that a man should
00:19:42.600generally be the provider the protector and the presider of the family and that a woman should
00:19:47.040generally stay home and care for children have babies if you i think that's the entry point of
00:19:51.920going yeah traditional marriage so what i was going to say is offering this sliding scale just
00:19:56.140as again you know a friendly neighborhood moderate centrist that i am believe it or not1.00
00:20:02.080i would say okay we need a broad coalition feminism has dominated our culture and the1.00
00:20:07.980masses um if we are so we don't want to be compromised at the same time we don't want to be
00:20:15.240purist um so we want to have a principle and we want to be faithful to the principle but we don't
00:20:21.680want to be purist in the sense that we are so particular in a one um one specific application
00:20:29.260of the principle to where again we've whittled down our troops to where it's just us and our
00:20:35.980wives and kids in a basement you know like so we want to win in real life we need numbers to do
00:20:40.480that so we need to without compromise still be as accommodating as possible so when i think
00:20:46.080all right for this second pillar christian nationalism we're talking about patriarchy
00:20:50.360now the second pillar of the four what is the minimum bottom line must be this tall to ride
00:20:55.260the ride this is what i would say can we um can we get a universal for our team universal
00:21:01.920acknowledgement agreement that when all things are equal so again where i'm at personally is
00:21:10.320different than what i'm i'm laying out as the uh the suggested threshold so where i'm at personally
00:21:16.900i think we need to repeal the 19th amendment sound right and i've said that publicly i'm not
00:21:21.880hiding something or being deceitful um i don't think that we have to go beyond that so i'm not
00:21:26.160saying we need to repeal the 19th amendment and we also need to put balls and chains you know tied0.96
00:21:30.680to the dishwasher you know whatever like i'm not i'm not saying that i'm not saying that women
00:21:35.140uh shouldn't be educated i'm a big component of homeschooling i want my wife to be significantly0.99
00:21:40.600educated so that she can help to educate facilitate the education of my children because i don't want0.98
00:21:45.500them to be as dumb as stump so um i i think the american i like that harrison mentioned this0.97
00:21:51.600the american model of patriarchy was different patriarchy it was still patriarchy but patriarchy1.00
00:21:58.800in the west particularly the christian west has always been historically different than patriarchy
00:22:05.160in the east yes like just to say it plainly white patriarchy is different than brown patriarchy
00:22:11.700it is right one form of patriarchy is polygamy right um you're sharing a husband with three
00:22:20.260other brides one of them might be seven years old um you're maybe his favorite for a while and then
00:22:26.700he takes you out back and puts you down because he just married someone 20 years younger right
00:22:32.020uh like there's there's different forms of patriarchy one uh maybe you cover your head
00:22:36.920and worship one uh you cover your head and your face and uh and your toes and your ankles
00:22:42.40024 7 um like there are different forms of patriarchy one's oppressive one's protective
00:22:47.980that's right so one is um there's a deference in subservience the other is slavery we're not
00:22:55.260advocating for slavery yeah my wife is not my slave and why would you want to be married to a1.00
00:22:59.620i don't want to be married to an idiot i don't want to be married to a uh illiterate i want to1.00
00:23:03.560be married to somebody who's intelligent and can yeah raise my kids correctly so yeah it's1.00
00:23:07.100it's this absurd um you know false projection onto patriarchy that like you want women dumb0.94
00:23:13.100and submissive i want women humble like i i always think of a great example is um in a college i was0.92
00:23:18.540living at a house and we had homeless people camping in the backyard and so i had to go out
00:23:21.900and chew them away i came back in and my friend who's a girl who was very liberal left um she
00:23:27.220said what'd you do and i said i just went out and i said to go away she said well it's good you did
00:23:30.200that because i just would have given him sandwiches you know it's kind of like she was like you know
00:23:34.040i'm not the right person to do this because i'm too empathetic i i feel too strongly i'm too nice
00:23:39.280i would help them i couldn't help it i feel bad for them you need to go do this because i know it
00:23:43.140needs to be done let's make you a judge now to do it right right so it's like if you have that
00:23:47.380humility there's no problem uh it's it's the people that can't recognize shortcomings in
00:23:52.500themselves that refuse to acknowledge them and think i'm just as capable as as any man it's like0.92
00:23:57.240no you're way more empathetic than you're different if i could add to that the women being humble and0.90
00:24:01.760stepping aside the men also have to be stepping in right the female politicians i've spoken to
00:24:06.480have said well there's no man to do this so i'm doing it like the men need to step up and lead
00:24:10.640and then the women can take a step and i want to you know and i got i have to be honest um i want
00:24:16.060to say yes the men are too apathetic also for those females because i know some of them i also
00:24:21.720want to call bs on that right right because i know dozens of men who would um who there are so many
00:24:29.580that are apathetic yeah and it's true we need more men to stop being passive but i know dozens of men
00:24:36.100who are not passive right and they have been passed over their entire lives luxe coffee company is a
