00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, folks. Welcome to the podcast of the Lotus Caesars for Friday, the 23rd of October, 2026.
00:00:05.780 I'm John Bahari and Connor, and today we're going to be talking about how Bioware crashed and burned,
00:00:11.220 why we would want to be increasing the Muslim women's representation on Britain's armed police detachments, 0.96
00:00:20.900 and how billionaires love immigrants. 0.85
00:00:24.220 Contra Gary's economics.
00:00:25.800 I'll tell you what, watching Peter McCormack, excited, jumping for joy that Gary's Economics had posted in another video, was adorable.
00:00:31.520 Yeah, somehow Gary's Economics returned.
00:00:34.700 Yeah, but Peter McCormack said, oh, thank God you're back, I'll do a video response to you.
00:00:39.940 Anyway, after the podcast, of course, we have Lads Hour, where Dan is going to be making us do some sort of devil's bargain.
00:00:45.900 I've no idea, it's bound to be entertaining, because it always is, but without further ado, let's begin.
00:00:50.620 Gather round everyone, I have a strange tale to tell you today, and that is the embarrassing
00:00:55.060 demise of beloved, formerly, game studio, Bioware.
00:00:59.800 Because unexpectedly, I think it was two nights ago now, they posted the following black and
00:01:03.860 white box on their Twitter account.
00:01:07.140 For more than 30 years, Bioware has been more than a studio, it's been a home for storytellers,
00:01:10.680 developers and the players who brought our worlds to life.
00:01:12.900 Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, the
00:01:16.500 one closest to my heart, which is Mass Effect, and then they just drop Anthem at the end
00:01:19.860 there, which we'll get to that. Now, after more than three decades of shared adventures,
00:01:24.020 Bioware is closing and early development on the next Mass Effect project is ending. So
00:01:27.740 that has been brought to a screeching halt. And dare I say, given the footage I'm going
00:01:31.960 to subject you two to during this segment, it's probably a mercy killing. From all of
00:01:36.580 us here at Bioware, thank you for being the most meaningful part of our story. It wasn't
00:01:40.900 the most dignified end, though. There's some more details in this article. I think it's...
00:01:46.040 What was Anthem?
00:01:47.680 Anthem was a live service game.
00:01:50.200 I remember the name, but I'm drawing a blank on everything else with it.
00:01:54.460 Uh, basically it was like the Iron Man suits you could fly around planets with.
00:01:59.660 It was permanently online.
00:02:00.660 Oh, it was the one that was broken as soon as it came out and nobody could get in the servers, right?
00:02:04.320 Yeah, nobody liked the story.
00:02:05.720 And they've already shut down the live service.
00:02:06.700 There was a story?
00:02:07.680 Yeah, there was a campaign.
00:02:09.520 It's not like Bioware had much of an option, by the way.
00:02:11.440 I mean, they did just choose between
00:02:13.260 red, green, and blue
00:02:15.140 dismissal letters, so we'll get to
00:02:17.500 the Mass Effect ending a bit more later, but
00:02:19.100 as far as the details go, it's in this article by...
00:02:21.280 That's one for all you Mass Effect old heads out
00:02:23.440 there. There'll be more. 0.87
00:02:25.780 Jason Schreier has written an article
00:02:27.260 because, you know, this is what ethics in games journalism
00:02:29.220 leads to. You're taking kind of like a
00:02:31.300 perverse victory lap here. I don't
00:02:33.000 mean to, it's just that on a long enough timeline
00:02:35.320 all of my enemies destroy themselves.
00:02:37.660 Bioware and loads of these
00:02:39.200 old legacy games developers, companies
00:02:41.380 is remind me something of the ship of Theseus.
00:02:44.720 I was going to see zombie ant fungus.
00:02:46.200 Well, that too, but it's like,
00:02:47.420 how many of the core team have to leave
00:02:50.100 before it's just a shell with the same name?
00:02:52.440 Yeah.
00:02:53.280 Same thing with Rocksteady.
00:02:54.120 Yeah, we can see the old photos of the guys
00:02:56.200 who were like medical grads in a basement in Canada
00:02:58.620 building incredible RPGs,
00:03:00.300 and then the current photos of all of the writing staff
00:03:03.480 going to pride parades with children.
00:03:05.200 You should probably map it on a timeline
00:03:07.700 of amount of transgender medication taken.
00:03:11.380 amount of profit yeah exactly the amount of profit going down transmitted during the medication going
00:03:16.240 up yeah so the money's got to go somewhere what happened for those who don't know is ea were
00:03:21.460 bought out um in august by a 55 billion deal led by a saudi arabian investment fund which placed
00:03:28.820 around 18 billion in debt on ea's books and this year earlier this year the company told its
00:03:34.060 investors it had a plan to save up to 700 million in part by cutting research and development costs
00:03:38.300 And those cuts came around to Bioware. Bioware was shut down alongside 400 jobs cut from EA.
00:03:44.980 That's 3% of its total staff, 50 of which were at Bioware.
00:03:49.180 And it's because they have been making profit for quite some time.
00:03:52.040 EA are instead going to focus on their profit-making gains, which doesn't necessarily mean quality.
00:03:56.840 But again, Bioware hasn't been making things of quality recently.
00:03:59.160 So they're going to focus on sports games, for all of you sports betting enjoyers out there.
00:04:04.280 Apex Legends. Dear God, save me.
00:04:06.780 the next star wars jedi title with kai kestas i think his name is and then they're also going
00:04:12.260 to do the next battlefield and battlefront games so okay that's going to generate infinite amounts
00:04:19.760 of money for them yeah but you know what they're making they're making normie dino games yeah they
00:04:23.220 are they're just committing hard to that means i mean when you're working when you're running the
00:04:28.060 kind of budgets that these companies run that's all you can bank on yeah but that's only because
00:04:33.660 they decided okay we're going to take the kind of like alternative nerd games and completely
00:04:37.980 pervert them yeah that's only because you made them unprofitable your appalling design and
00:04:42.560 story yes i mean even if these games were selling and even if they hadn't gone that direction
00:04:47.220 ideologically the budgets have ballooned to such an extent that it's impossible like what was it
00:04:52.260 300 million dollars for that wolverine game yeah yeah on a on a console that nobody owns
00:04:58.080 at the very least though you probably could have made your money back batman arkham style
00:05:01.720 if the cutscenes weren't
00:05:04.940 like unskippably unfailable
00:05:06.680 if Wolverine wasn't modelled after 1.00
00:05:08.640 a transgender man, if you didn't get a bunch 1.00
00:05:10.720 of Indians to do all the animations, you know 0.99
00:05:12.580 all of these things, if you didn't make... A black woman 1.00
00:05:14.680 doing the motion capture for Wolverine 1.00
00:05:16.820 Yeah, and even
00:05:17.860 what's the point of sex in literally everything
00:05:20.380 they scan her face into everything now? Deborah Wilson 0.98
00:05:22.180 Yeah, even she's turned around and said, yeah
00:05:23.720 I love that you knew exactly 0.81
00:05:25.000 Yeah, apparently she's come out in the public recently
00:05:28.600 and said, I really want them to stop doing this
00:05:31.140 yeah but the thing is i'm i'm kind of sick of like the cinematic video games at this point
00:05:36.000 like nothing i play is cinematic in any way show perform mostly they're map games right they don't
00:05:41.120 have any cut scenes mostly it's moving things around on a map and killing stuff so it's like
00:05:45.360 look you could just produce those games really really cheaply and people like me would buy them
00:05:49.460 if they were actually good people like me would also buy the telltale style games on the mass
00:05:53.080 i'm not saying i'm not saying there's not a market for it but like but what i'm saying is
00:05:56.820 like you don't have to spend 300 million dollars producing a boulders gate game or whatever you
00:06:02.560 know whatever the latest thing they're trying to make it doesn't have to be photorealistic
00:06:05.840 i don't care about japanese games the next one they were going to make was the next mass effect
00:06:09.980 and we keep getting word of mouth from ex-employees now saying this has the most amount of autonomy
00:06:15.000 ever we're modeled it off of the witcher rather than our original paragon and renegade structure
00:06:18.560 and then someone just leaked the trailer and i mean i'll play a little bit of it in the background
00:06:22.520 if I can get a handle on how this-
00:06:24.120 It goes-
00:06:24.480 Bloody screenwork, there it goes.
00:06:25.660 Yeah.
00:06:26.380 It just looks like generic cyberpunk game.
00:06:28.800 It doesn't look anything like Mass Effect anymore.
00:06:30.740 Like, it looks like they've run everything through Unreal.
00:06:33.580 The cutscenes are relatively high fidelity. 0.72
00:06:35.760 You've got generic, ethnic protagonist,
00:06:38.600 and then a flashy polish. 1.00
00:06:42.220 None of the same soul. 0.99
00:06:43.400 You're just meant to, like, point and soy face when you see-
00:06:45.640 Yeah, all this cutscene bullshit.
00:06:48.440 I don't want any of it.
00:06:49.880 I want the cutscenes.
00:06:51.260 I want the compelling characters.
00:06:52.160 i don't want the cut scenes that just look like every other generic game with terrible writing
00:06:55.940 just give me a room full of enemies to shoot god damn it i can't do map games i just don't have
00:07:00.160 this this whole thing comes across as if it's a sci-fi game written by like uh like young adult 0.53
00:07:08.520 teen drama author this one does i don't care about definitely didn't well yeah no no i'm not
00:07:13.900 saying the other ones did this particular one like i don't care what's happening between these
00:07:18.020 two people i want to shoot aliens what's why are you presenting this to me yeah and so oh come on
00:07:22.540 you've got to understand that like part of the appeal of space sci-fi fiction for years
00:07:27.320 can i can i shag the blue alien okay but pioneer this but i know it didn't star trek pioneer yeah
00:07:34.020 but in the game setting sure but like what i mean is like i'm playing a video game i don't need all
00:07:40.280 of this i want to just shoot stuff the whole point of a video game is it's me moving the mouse and
00:07:44.160 keyboard to kill stuff i i don't want i don't want some bloody failed writers i desperately want to
00:07:50.500 put you through metal gear solid i've never played metal gear solid hours long cut scenes i i admit i
00:07:58.000 did just quit phantom pain and didn't finish the opening cut oh phantom pain's incredible yeah i'm
00:08:03.200 sure it is but i once you get past the two hour so many years intro yeah it opens up so much and
00:08:09.760 it's great anyway so the irony is it's coming soon there it's not it's canceled it's possible they
00:08:13.760 could buy the ip i wouldn't be surprised if the indian woman running microsoft picks up development
00:08:17.240 on this and decides to put it out but now the cope flows because as i said it's probably a mercy
00:08:22.820 killing given bioware's recent output and people are saying oh they locked their account the reason
00:08:28.760 and i quote veil guard did not kill bioware private equity killed bioware money killed
00:08:35.140 bioware corporate greed killed bioware shut the f up about wokeness and veil guard f's sake now
00:08:39.500 that could have actually been veil guard dialogue it's as if there's no connection between the
00:08:43.380 wokeness and the sales yeah yeah it's gone to the point now where um there are members of the
00:08:47.560 canadian socialist party coming out and saying that we need to basically nationalize bioware
00:08:52.100 as soon as you said canadian socialist party i knew exactly we need to seize the means of
00:08:59.240 mass effect production yeah we need we need to we need to seize the means of truning out
00:09:02.960 but this this is the important thing though they understand that wokeness took control of bioware
00:09:07.280 and was being used using bioware as a machine to promote their ideology and that's why oh you can't
00:09:12.640 blame the failure of Bioware and Wokers. 0.55
00:09:14.740 It's like, no, that's all you can blame on.
00:09:16.380 That's all you can blame on.
00:09:17.880 This is the fungus saying, water killed this
00:09:20.500 ant. Never mind that we drove
00:09:22.480 it straight into the water, because that's where it reproduced.
00:09:24.560 We've got to ban water and nationalise 0.75
00:09:26.720 ants. But the 0.74
00:09:28.540 problems of Bioware go back well beyond
00:09:30.340 now, EA, the acquisition.
00:09:32.580 It started with Anthem, as we mentioned.
00:09:34.660 Anthem sold 5 million copies,
00:09:36.660 which, as PC Gamer says, sounds good until
00:09:38.460 you compare it to Star Wars Battlefront.
00:09:40.020 because Anthem was a financial failure.
00:09:42.900 It fell short of its sales target of 6 million copies by the end of March 2019.
00:09:46.940 EA then decided to pull the plug on all of its live services,
00:09:49.860 which was the only selling point of the game two years after launch.
00:09:52.940 One person posted on Twitter screen grabs of the sales figures from EA's senior manager
00:09:58.600 and compared it to some of the other games,
00:10:01.160 and it said that Anthem has 2 million units sold in Week 1, 5 million in its lifetime.
00:10:06.240 But if you look at Battlefield 1, it sold 21 million units,
00:10:09.660 Jedi Fallen Order, single player game, no life service, 10 million units, and then Battlefront games, 50 million units.
00:10:17.040 Well, one interesting comparison that I saw was between all of the Mass Effect games and Witcher 2, just one game for the Witcher 2.
00:10:24.960 I had no idea that Witcher 2 had sold 15 million copies, which was almost as many as the entire Mass Effect series combined.
00:10:33.760 for all of the the hype and notoriety mass effect comparatively has always been a bit of a niche
00:10:40.060 series uh it's it turns out which i didn't expect see what the trilogy remaster and trilogy re-release
00:10:46.300 added to that would bump the sales figures up to because it was only the three original games but
00:10:49.940 yeah um but they were acclaimed so they were acclaimed they sold enough but i just didn't
00:10:54.960 know that witcher 2 by itself was so popular and the reason that anthem sucks is because as
00:10:59.800 Bioware employee, now, you know, former
00:11:01.680 Ian Satterdalen said
00:11:03.940 while many mistakes were made on development
00:11:06.060 an equally big problem was EA's decision
00:11:07.980 to stand firm on the game's release date. I mean
00:11:09.780 Anthem was literally created in 15 months
00:11:12.100 with Bioware designers working 90 hour weeks. Now
00:11:13.980 EA is at fault. We all
00:11:16.040 know about EA Crunch. It in part
00:11:17.920 ruined Mass Effect 3. They're not EA defenders.
00:11:20.220 Yeah. However,
00:11:21.880 Bioware does bear some blame
00:11:23.440 for Dragon Age Veilguard because the problem with
00:11:25.800 Dragon Age Veilguard was not the development cycle
00:11:27.840 it was the fact that it was an absolute steaming turd 1.00
00:11:30.660 that focused mainly on transgender politics. 1.00
00:11:33.260 How long did it take to develop?
00:11:35.180 Dragon Age Veil Guard?
00:11:36.320 I don't know the development cycle.
00:11:38.580 I only know the appalling sales figures.
00:11:40.280 Yeah, well, the problem that video games have,
00:11:43.720 especially when it comes to trying to capture social phenomenon,
00:11:47.560 is that the video game takes like four or five years to develop, right?
00:11:51.240 Now, in that four or five years,
00:11:53.320 people like us have been producing YouTube video
00:11:54.920 after YouTube video after YouTube video saying,
00:11:56.300 actually all of this woke leftoid stuff is gay and cringe and it's dropped out of the popular 0.63
00:12:02.880 zeitgeist and oh but five years on we've got our dragon age veil guard aren't you interested in 0.69
00:12:08.400 they them character generation no that's actually a real uh d mark now and uh you're kind of trapped
00:12:15.160 in the cycle and oh you've got a big steaming failure i remember the same thing happened to
00:12:19.540 saints row of all series oh yeah yeah that's right they turn that they turn the protagonist 0.93
00:12:24.360 as soon as I see that side head shaved black woman I just know I'm not buying it in everything 0.88
00:12:29.620 so it became pretty apparent quite quickly to Bioware that Dragon Age Veilgar was a failure 1.00
00:12:35.780 because after Christmas EA announced that in January Dragon Age had only reached 1.5 million
00:12:41.220 players that's not sales yeah just players right because remember you can get it on like Xbox Game
00:12:45.400 Pass you can have it refunded by Steam and that fell short of sale expectations by 50 percent
00:12:50.720 As a result of struggling titles, EA Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson said the company would be significantly lowering its sales forecast for the fiscal years ahead because EA's share price plunged by 18%, just because of Dragon Age.
00:13:03.280 And it was so significant that now they have no sales projections because Bioware doesn't exist.
00:13:07.160 And the context in which this has to be remembered is that for about 15 years, everything Bioware touched turned to gold.
00:13:14.540 Yeah.
00:13:15.100 Everything.
00:13:15.840 From Baldur's Gate onwards to, what is it, probably about 2013, something like that?
00:13:20.880 Yes.
00:13:21.480 That was the first stumbling block with the Mass Effect ending.
00:13:23.800 Right, yeah.
00:13:24.620 So that sort of 20-year period almost, or 15-year period,
00:13:28.400 everything was just banger after banger after banger. 1.00
00:13:31.720 So it's just gutting to watch all of the straight white men get great replaced with blue-head lesbians, 0.99
00:13:37.440 and suddenly everything isn't as good as it used to be. 1.00
00:13:39.260 Well, they of course don't blame it on that, even though Bailgod got a bunch of them fired before the studio closed down.
00:13:43.900 According to interviews with nearly two dozen people who worked on Veilguard, there were several reasons behind its failure.
00:13:49.060 Marketing misfires, poor word of mouth, and a ten-year gap since the previous title.
00:13:53.720 As the game evolved over the two years that they were saying since Anthem failed, they said were they making the same mistakes?
00:14:01.020 They also said that they were worried they were making Anthem with dragons because of the live service elements.
00:14:05.020 I'm going to offer an alternative explanation. It might be this.
00:14:09.160 The articles coming out about it that were trying to defend it were saying things like,
00:14:13.100 Like, the Veilguard's leap forward in trans inclusion comes from a heartfelt place,
00:14:17.220 but its problems left me feeling frustrated, angry, and tired. 0.56
00:14:19.500 That might be the HRT, to be honest. 1.00
00:14:21.620 Even the Wokoids are like, this sucks. 1.00
00:14:24.000 Yeah. 1.00
00:14:24.580 In case you're unfamiliar, Dragon Age Veilguard has options for trans and non-binary rooks,
00:14:28.720 the protagonist that you can customise, much like Shepard.
00:14:31.980 Moreover, one companion, Tash, has an entire storyline dedicated to realising some big revelations about their gender. 0.86
00:14:38.560 The giant demon is non-binary. 0.99
00:14:41.320 Many such cases. 1.00
00:14:42.180 It's a demon
00:14:43.100 Basically like a giant goat horn 1.00
00:14:46.400 It's like tieflings from 0.98
00:14:48.000 Dungeons and Dragons 0.99
00:14:49.720 I want to make this clear at the outset 1.00
00:14:51.740 I do not think these inclusive elements should be a big deal
00:14:54.000 In an ideal world, it clearly was to the writers
00:14:56.100 In fact the reason I'm writing this article
00:14:57.800 Is because I want to take a story with these elements in seriously
00:15:00.060 As if there wasn't a big culture war
00:15:01.820 Bringing overhead including a certain election
00:15:04.000 Result that will likely result in harm to my friends
00:15:06.060 Across the pond, as you said, it was developed
00:15:07.880 Before Trump won the second time
00:15:09.360 So this was inevitable
00:15:11.000 Well, let's see the incredible writing that they kept in to own the charts.
00:15:14.020 So this was a Biden game released in a Trump page.
00:15:17.060 Yes, yes, that's exactly what it was.
00:15:19.060 Yeah, the milk was spoiled when they were expecting this game to be totally brat.
00:15:22.220 They thought, yeah, exactly, they thought Kamala was gonna win.
00:15:24.800 Yeah, and they also thought that things like, um, top surgery scars for your character creation were a good idea.
00:15:33.000 They also thought that this was incredible writing. I am gonna subject you guys to some, like, skin-crawling.
00:15:38.660 Let me just look at the image of the face. 0.99
00:15:40.160 I feel like I'm in a magical fantasy world
00:16:03.880 hearing that, don't you?
00:16:04.900 I also feel like I'm in 2016.
00:16:08.040 Oh, we never left.
00:16:09.560 anachronistic at best but it doesn't it just completely destroy any and all immersion that
00:16:15.160 like fantasy characters like this they shouldn't be talking like character like people from 2016
00:16:21.080 like californians yes having a struggle session with their parents yeah it keeps going um if you
00:16:26.200 didn't like that bit of writing when you were in the game it turns out that the other characters
00:16:30.280 actually decide to punish themselves for misgendering tash so this this character here
00:16:36.120 gets the
00:16:36.820 proud
00:16:38.760 this character then
00:16:54.140 does a bunch of press-ups in penance for
00:16:56.140 misgendering the demon
00:16:57.240 this is also a very modern
00:17:00.200 way of like oh you did the wrong
00:17:02.220 thing do some press-ups for us
00:17:03.920 the work. I don't want to be told to do
00:17:05.980 the work for your weird gay gender politics 1.00
00:17:07.860 while I'm trying to play Dragon Age or Mass Effect. 1.00
00:17:10.460 All of the characters are like, oh
00:17:11.900 yeah, no, you just called her she
00:17:13.800 rather than they. Oh, oh god, yeah,
00:17:15.940 no, I have to...
00:17:16.900 Sorry, what world do we... This is just
00:17:19.880 modern Californian politics. We're just punching numbers
00:17:21.960 on a validation vending machine for the weird sexual
00:17:23.940 hang-ups of the writers. Yeah, but, like,
00:17:25.580 if you're meant to be a fancy world,
00:17:28.440 what's the political system?
00:17:30.000 Is it, oh, modern Californian democracy?
00:17:32.020 Is it with very progressive people? 1.00
00:17:33.920 Okay, gay. Why would I want to play that? 1.00
00:17:35.760 Well, that's why they all like the demons.
00:17:36.800 Yeah, it's just endlessly cringe.
00:17:41.420 Thanks to Tosh.
00:17:47.580 I can't believe this didn't sell.
00:18:02.780 How did this lose money?
00:18:03.920 Why did capitalism shut this down?
00:18:07.340 Look at the man-jaw on that.
00:18:09.140 Yeah.
00:18:09.580 You know what? 1.00
00:18:10.180 Given what the Saudis probably saved us from with Mass Effect 5, 1.00
00:18:13.160 I'm thinking of converting at this point. 1.00
00:18:14.780 I mean, dear God.
00:18:15.900 Just to be clear, though,
00:18:16.600 I actually don't know what kind of game this is.
00:18:20.120 It's a bad RPG with...
00:18:22.940 So, okay.
00:18:24.000 It's a bad Western RPG.
00:18:25.520 It's an action RPG,
00:18:26.320 and then in the cut scenes,
00:18:28.960 you play a character that chooses all the dialogue options
00:18:31.000 that build the relationships
00:18:32.520 until you build towards a given ending.
00:18:33.920 so like it's you get a mixture of cinematic cut scenes with player choice plus shooting or hack
00:18:38.800 and slash right so is it kind of like baldur's gate top down or no no it's third person right
00:18:43.200 third person okay fine i've never seen any gameplay from this i've only ever seen this kind of day of
00:18:49.840 your lives like you know feely touchy-feely conversation if it helps i once played dragon
00:18:56.320 age inquisition which was the game before this for 10 minutes and immediately switched off because
00:19:00.960 the gameplay was terrible the gameplay mass effect is fantastic but that's because you've got like
00:19:05.200 anti-gravity superpowers but there's no reason this should be bad i mean you should be killing
00:19:09.280 stuff right yeah i don't want to build relationships i want to kill monsters is there a choice in the
00:19:13.440 game that lets me kill this character they're constantly going on about it would be too
00:19:16.560 transphobic yeah yeah what's the point of choices then yeah mass effect 2 you can get your entire
00:19:23.920 team killed you can get yourself killed and you can't actually play mass effect 3. so
00:19:28.160 So, articles like this from Polygon shine a light on who exactly is responsible for this.
00:19:34.220 And it's a character called Trick Weeks, otherwise known, the artist formerly known as Patrick Weeks,
00:19:39.480 who themselves is non-binary.
00:19:41.420 Patrick Weeks joined Bioware in 2005, writing side quests and characters in the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games.
00:19:49.840 It wasn't too intrusive.
00:19:50.820 It was only after they had an arc of self-discovery, shall we say,
00:19:54.260 that they suddenly started shoehorning trans politics into these games.
00:19:58.560 And one of the early signs of this were actually 0.72
00:20:00.180 they were responsible for the gay romances in Mass Effect 3. 0.98
00:20:04.520 They got shoved in right at the end with two brand new characters. 1.00
00:20:07.240 And there were two guys in this office, Dan included,
00:20:09.500 that were playing Mass Effect 3
00:20:10.700 and didn't realize that the conversation options
00:20:13.340 were pushing you so towards a gay romance
00:20:15.120 that they had a few nice beers with their shuttle pilot
00:20:18.300 and then end up getting bummed before the final mission. 0.70
00:20:20.180 Dan had accidental gay sex in Mass Effect 3. 0.76
00:20:23.700 the funniest thing was 0.88
00:20:24.860 him telling us about it as well
00:20:27.920 was just like yeah
00:20:28.800 hey world's ending
00:20:32.020 what can you do
00:20:32.800 this is the same Trick Weeks who by the way recently said
00:20:35.700 you don't own gaming you don't own
00:20:37.820 fantasy this is 2021
00:20:38.900 somewhere along the way they outgrew you and some of us
00:20:41.500 grew along with them our table
00:20:43.620 holds a lot more than yours
00:20:44.720 that table is now in a skip
00:20:46.840 where are the sales though
00:20:48.220 it turns out you don't own gaming either
00:20:50.980 because you're at the chop
00:20:52.360 Well, I saw on the Wikipedia page, and last year he got released and posted on Blue Sky about how he got let go from Bioware.
00:20:58.580 Oh, okay, it was part of the mass exodus during Dragon Age, then.
00:21:02.020 Yeah, apparently the Dragon Age series was also finished long before the studio was shut down.
00:21:07.040 This was in July.
00:21:08.260 Three months after Dragon Age Veilguard launched, publishers at EA revealed that the game had underperformed by 50%.
00:21:13.620 In a new interview, Guider, who was the lead writer on the original Dragon Age game, as well as 2011's Dragon Age 2 and 2014's Inquisition,
00:21:20.320 said it's unlikely a new game will ever be made.
00:21:22.820 And the same is for Mass Effect.
00:21:24.340 And let's not forget what they did to Mass Effect either.
00:21:27.060 Mass Effect Andromeda doesn't exist,
00:21:28.980 but there are some clips that go through a dimension
00:21:34.020 that I like to pretend isn't real and can't hurt me.
00:21:36.940 Like this one, the effeminate Krogan,
00:21:39.180 who engages in a slap fight.
00:21:41.040 Now, for those of you who don't know, 1.00
00:21:42.420 the Krogan are like giant rhinoceroses 1.00
00:21:44.540 that are renowned for their battle prowess. 1.00
00:21:47.200 Oh, yeah.
00:21:47.460 And the galaxy had to band together
00:21:48.840 to literally sterilize them with a plague
00:21:50.840 to stop them conquering other planets.
00:21:52.600 They are this formidable.
00:21:54.640 Unfortunately...
00:21:55.520 You Ravenor Brank? Strux sent me.
00:21:57.920 He said that you...
00:21:59.920 Yes.
00:22:04.100 Find me later near the fighting pit.
00:22:06.080 Hey, Nexus.
00:22:07.780 I'm the one you talk to around here.
00:22:12.000 Are you Morda?
00:22:14.680 I'm Nakmor Morda. 0.98
00:22:16.420 Overlord of the Krogan and Helios. 0.61
00:22:18.360 Hello, boys.
00:22:20.760 He's the overlord.
00:22:23.780 How spot.
00:22:27.040 That is so funny.
00:22:37.420 There's an even worse part, which is
00:22:39.340 so you come back and you complete the quest 1.00
00:22:41.100 and this effeminate Krogan 0.97
00:22:43.120 actually falls out with her deputy
00:22:45.360 and they have this
00:22:46.560 It's, um, weird, like...
00:22:50.560 You put the colony at risk over a grudge you carried across dark space? 1.00
00:22:54.560 You really aren't worth killing, Drogelstrux. 1.00
00:22:58.560 It's like a parody!
00:23:01.560 It's like someone has dubbed it.
00:23:04.560 It's like someone's cutting in voice lines from RuPaul's Drag Race.
00:23:08.560 Yeah, yeah!
00:23:09.560 The giant, battle-hardened rhino with redundant organs, and it... 1.00
00:23:13.560 And the gay lisp. 1.00
00:23:15.500 Yeah, you put the kai at risk. 1.00
00:23:18.000 And then there's this absolute gem from launch that they had to patch out. 0.98
00:23:24.680 Oh, this.
00:23:25.500 To who?
00:23:27.020 To whom?
00:23:27.980 And your goddamn father?
00:23:29.780 Sorry, my face is tired from dealing with everything.
00:23:33.520 And right now I just want to know what happened with Alec.
00:23:37.680 Oh my god.
00:23:39.100 that's like
00:23:40.260 worse than
00:23:41.480 Oblivion levels
00:23:42.480 of face animation
00:23:43.520 I was going to
00:23:43.960 have Oblivion
00:23:44.580 actually
00:23:44.840 because the thing
00:23:45.520 is with Oblivion
00:23:46.060 the rest of the game
00:23:46.980 is really enjoyable
00:23:47.680 yeah it's great
00:23:48.860 the writing's great
00:23:49.760 the world building's great
00:23:50.580 and so
00:23:51.280 the quirks
00:23:52.540 of the terrible
00:23:53.260 voice acting
00:23:53.860 where they redo
00:23:54.560 the same line
00:23:55.640 which I'm so glad
00:23:57.220 they only had
00:23:58.180 like a handful
00:23:58.820 of voice actors
00:23:59.600 for the thousand
00:24:00.500 characters in the
00:24:01.540 game so far
00:24:02.800 so they become
00:24:04.280 endearing
00:24:04.800 like enduring
00:24:05.660 elements of the
00:24:06.460 game
00:24:06.680 and their weird
00:24:07.280 potato faces
00:24:08.520 I love their weird potato faces.
00:24:09.740 And I'm really glad that they didn't patch that out in the remaster.
00:24:13.880 But this just sucks.
00:24:15.740 And it's because it's clearly been made lovelessly,
00:24:17.960 and they spent more time on hamfesting in racial and gender politics
00:24:21.100 into these respective games than they did on the gameplay,
00:24:23.500 or the polish, or the graphics,
00:24:24.860 or making sure that your companions don't glitch through the floor
00:24:27.320 and you fly across the map like the Shooting Stars music is playing.
00:24:32.160 And it's because the lead designers really hate white people.
00:24:35.500 Like this guy, for example,
00:24:37.260 just has an unending scree of anti-white tweets
00:24:41.340 and it turns out that he was the lead gameplay designer.
00:24:44.980 Is white supremacy making fun games?
00:24:48.760 Well, judging by the old photos of the Bioware staff
00:24:50.740 back when they were in their glory days,
00:24:52.220 same thing with Halo, same thing with Gears of War,
00:24:54.220 which we'll mention in a short moment.
00:24:56.400 And it turns out that as of this morning,
00:24:58.040 as I was coming in,
00:24:58.880 a veteran Bioware writer, this is Chris Avalone,
00:25:02.100 he decided to blow the whistle on what was going on
00:25:04.360 for a long time,
00:25:05.100 which is why you get these terrible people writing in charge of game design.
00:25:08.940 He said,
00:25:09.440 When applicants would apply to work at Bioware,
00:25:11.180 the producer would go through their LinkedIn and see what posts they liked,
00:25:13.520 and if he disagreed with their political or social likes,
00:25:16.200 he'd advocate not to hire them based on their likes.
00:25:18.860 There's times where that's appropriate, he says,
00:25:20.840 but in this case, it didn't feel appropriate.
00:25:22.980 It's because they were conducting a woke purge of the institutions of anyone competent, 0.96
00:25:27.840 and this is why you now end up with obvious transgender people designing Mortal Kombat. 1.00
00:25:33.640 And it's terrible. 0.99
00:25:34.260 and everyone's ugly. 1.00
00:25:35.500 Yeah, they just hired a bunch of Wocoids. 1.00
00:25:37.340 The whole thing was just, 1.00
00:25:38.660 we're going to hire people who agree with us,
00:25:40.460 regardless of whether they're any good,
00:25:41.700 and all of a sudden you've got this critical mess
00:25:44.240 inside the design studio
00:25:45.560 that is just going to make 0.99
00:25:46.800 the insane transgender Wocoid game 1.00
00:25:49.560 that they've always wanted to make. 0.99
00:25:50.700 And it's like, okay, that's great,
00:25:51.840 but that's about 5% of the population
00:25:54.200 who would buy that in potential.
00:25:56.480 So, you know, capitalism has failed.
00:25:58.800 So they're not going to spend the money on it anyway?
00:26:00.040 Yeah, exactly.
00:26:00.420 Oh, capitalism has failed.
00:26:01.480 It's like, no, you just made a crap game
00:26:02.480 no one wanted.
00:26:03.260 Yeah, and there's still time to defile Mass Effect's corpse
00:26:05.540 because it turns out that Amazon is developing a live-action series.
00:26:09.260 Henry Cavill was previously involved.
00:26:11.300 Of course he was.
00:26:12.380 Poor old Henry.
00:26:13.120 Yeah, and he's now exited that to work on the Warhammer 48th.
00:26:15.080 Of course he has.
00:26:16.000 So hopefully you get some authentic...
00:26:17.560 Maybe, yeah.
00:26:18.520 I certainly won't.
00:26:19.340 They're going to bastardise this just like they've bastardised Fallout.
00:26:21.720 Yeah, but the thing is, you've got to let it go.
00:26:23.680 Remember, this wasn't the thing you loved.
00:26:25.660 The thing you love is finished,
00:26:26.800 and this is just someone playing in a sandpit.
00:26:29.280 You'll always have those first three games, 0.76
00:26:31.880 and you'll always have the memory of dan having gay sex in one of them i just want to just want 0.73
00:26:37.720 to speed through the end this is a trend across the industry like bungie has recently been um 0.51
00:26:42.420 ratioed into the earth's core and forced to backtrack on the archiving of all the content
00:26:47.520 people previously paid for already in destiny 2 including the campaign a bunch of raids
00:26:51.260 to create some sort of um troon coded uh game called marathon that nobody liked it was a total
00:26:58.780 flop and now they've gone oh please don't hate us we're going to reverse our business practices
00:27:02.680 speaking of bungee the studio that inherited halo that was 343 now halo studios decided to in their
00:27:09.080 remake of combat evolved called campaign evolved stick a brown girl boss character in there and it
00:27:14.660 was so hated now the studio is also facing mass layoffs completely not in the original i played
00:27:19.920 the first halo for the first time earlier this year it's awesome it still holds up it's great
00:27:25.680 And then immediately after I see, this comes out and I'm like, I don't remember her.
00:27:30.640 Are you saying you don't enjoy this?
00:27:35.060 No, Sergeant Major, I'm not.
00:27:37.900 Takes more than fancy armor and a good PR campaign to impress me.
00:27:41.860 Mm-hmm.
00:27:43.580 That said, we do have our thanks. 1.00
00:27:47.520 Yep, just insulting Moschee. 1.00
00:27:48.860 They all want to have that, like, what is it, the Mexican woman from Aliens? 0.93
00:27:54.320 Yeah.
00:27:54.480 Yeah, they all want to have their version of that character,
00:27:57.540 but as far as I can tell,
00:27:59.000 she is the only version of that character that's ever been good.
00:28:02.080 Yeah.
00:28:02.720 Yeah.
00:28:03.900 And this is where they've just been absolutely gutted.
00:28:07.460 They were cut by Xbox.
00:28:09.260 Bonnie Ross, the former head of Halo and founder of 343 Industries,
00:28:12.580 responded to yesterday's news on LinkedIn,
00:28:13.980 saying it was difficult to wake up to the news
00:28:15.160 that the Halo studio is essentially being shut down today,
00:28:17.320 only with a small number of roles remaining.
00:28:19.080 Well, you're not the same studio.
00:28:21.360 Not just like Bioware.
00:28:22.600 Just like Gears of War, actually.
00:28:23.740 Gears of War have just released a game called E-Day
00:28:25.920 which shows the origins
00:28:28.080 of Marcus and his brother
00:28:29.600 and they decided to spend
00:28:32.040 all the trailers focusing on Marcus
00:28:33.600 the lead hero and then
00:28:35.860 in the actual game you spend most of the time 0.99
00:28:38.180 with a brown half-blind 0.99
00:28:40.160 lesbian woman who interrupts 1.00
00:28:41.940 all of the emotional scenes by coughing and making it 1.00
00:28:44.020 about her. Turns out they only sold
00:28:45.980 230,000 copies during release week
00:28:48.040 Just to be clear
00:28:49.960 and game studios
00:28:51.460 your audiences for all of these things were straight
00:28:53.720 white men. If you're not catering
00:28:55.580 straight white men. Especially Gears of War.
00:28:57.400 Yeah, Gears of War, Halo, you know, all of
00:28:59.740 these. Comics, Marvel movies, everything.
00:29:01.720 Dungeons and Dragons. 0.96
00:29:03.200 Do you think it wasn't straight white men playing those back 0.86
00:29:05.660 in the day? And if you abandon that audience, then
00:29:07.680 you don't get the sales. Yeah, and also, if you
00:29:09.560 abandon the intentions of the original creators,
00:29:11.820 I mean, Drew Karpishan left Mass Effect after
00:29:13.600 three, and is now going
00:29:15.780 on to work on a new game called Exodus, I think,
00:29:17.680 which is a spiritual successor that has
00:29:19.640 none of the problems, seemingly, with Bioware.
00:29:21.460 and you've got um this is a clip that was i won't play it but it was from a video made by
00:29:26.940 the gears war producer laura fryer who points out this scene saying how it detracts from the
00:29:32.020 emotional potency and she just said look white guys want to play marcus because that you want
00:29:37.900 the player to be the hero he is their surrogate and so if it keeps being interrupted by this new
00:29:42.180 side character that's clearly a self-insert for the developers that pushes their politics
00:29:46.120 you make the player no longer the hero so why would they want to play a game where they're not
00:29:49.840 the hero. Correct. It's gotten to the point
00:29:51.760 where they've actually attempted to
00:29:53.760 dub over this Mag's character's
00:29:55.980 voice lines with random beeps and boops from Star Wars.
00:29:58.120 Yeah, but I bet Nexus Mods took it all.
00:29:59.480 They banned it. They banned it immediately.
00:30:01.380 They're insane.
00:30:02.700 So I would just make a final recommendation
00:30:05.280 which is actually from Nexus Mods, which is if you want to
00:30:07.540 in this period of cultural stagnation
00:30:09.160 if you want to recover the glory days
00:30:11.480 of things like Mass Effect or Dragon Age
00:30:13.500 or even Knights of the Old Republic, you can still
00:30:15.480 revitalize them with mods. I recently did a
00:30:17.380 Mass Effect trilogy playthrough because my wife, when she was
00:30:19.380 pregnant she hadn't played it before absolutely loved it and it was the first time i'd actually
00:30:22.360 played with mods and i modded the ending of mass effect with a happy ending mod and it creates a
00:30:26.480 satisfying conclusion to the story where you know spoilers um instead of pick your red green or blue
00:30:32.200 light wave that goes across the galaxy and undoes all your choices shepherds with his romance options
00:30:36.820 and all of his squad mates who are alive and they fly off into the sunset for future adventures it
00:30:40.120 rewards all of your efforts and so i've just linked a bunch of mods down in the description
00:30:43.280 that will make your mass effect playthrough way better but it's better to go back and play things
00:30:47.300 that are actually nourishing and of quality than giving
00:30:49.400 your money to companies that hate you. Don't be
00:30:51.380 sad that Bioware was destroyed. Smile for
00:30:53.320 the memories and, frankly, they got what
00:30:55.320 they deserved.
00:30:57.880 Honestly, I'm not sad about it at all.
00:30:59.680 Or just play Capcom games instead.
00:31:02.040 Sick of seeing them take things
00:31:03.460 I like and I'm glad to see them when they fail.
00:31:05.680 EA didn't kill Bioware, although
00:31:07.120 buried a walking corpse has been festering for far too
00:31:09.340 long. As a fan of their older games like Mass Effect
00:31:11.260 and Knights of the Order of Public, all I can say is good riddance.
00:31:13.320 Exactly. Ask Design Services.
00:31:15.560 Yeah, I'll get that email from Pete afterwards
00:31:19.320 The engaged few says
00:31:20.680 So the 1980s, LBO craze is back
00:31:22.840 LBO?
00:31:25.040 What's that?
00:31:25.960 Lingering body odor?
00:31:26.980 I don't think of that
00:31:28.620 Killing bioware goes a long way
00:31:30.780 I'll check what LBO means
00:31:33.080 Congratulations on the beefled twins, Connor
00:31:36.800 God bless you
00:31:37.560 Oh, thanks
00:31:38.060 They're getting out of hospital today 0.99
00:31:39.440 Ignore Carl, give your wife as many babies as she wants 0.87
00:31:41.860 No, we're not having any more
00:31:42.860 Scott says
00:31:44.240 search assist someone set us up the bomb or you basically belong to us like good leverage buyout
00:31:48.800 oh right that's what it means yeah yeah big leverage buyers um if communism takes over
00:31:53.140 there'll be taskmasters whipping people to play these games as bill paxton paxton was the only 0.96
00:31:57.820 reason people like the women in aliens yeah i mean to be fair i've not watched it in ages so
00:32:02.040 it was a good comeback yeah yeah anyway yeah yeah does anyone confuse you for a man no do you
00:32:08.680 yeah yeah exactly yeah so anyway this this photo went viral the other day uh on twitter and i mean
00:32:17.040 if you're an american you're probably jumping out of your chair screaming my god i mean you can see
00:32:22.380 the gun's not loaded but she's just got her finger on the trigger like the written house trial all
00:32:26.200 over again yeah absolutely no trigger discipline and then you start looking at it further it's 0.79
00:32:30.240 like right so she's a white woman wearing a hijab her finger on the trigger for the london 0.65
00:32:37.200 metropolitan police next to some white guy who is teaching her to use a gun what are we doing
00:32:45.620 exactly what's what's what's happening here well i think this is a result sam hyde blaring in my
00:32:52.260 mind we will come to sam hyde in a minute oh good good this is this is a result of the clearing out
00:32:57.660 of the armed response unit particularly in london after the shooting of chris carbar where the
00:33:03.400 officer who shot that um attempted murderer uh who was trying to run him down the car was you know 0.87
00:33:08.500 totally right in doing so but he was persecuted by the state and scapegoated by just black 0.55
00:33:12.840 supremacist mps like bel ribiero addy and so a bunch of armed response officers walked off because
00:33:17.680 they were like well if if i'm in a life or death situation with a armed criminal and i take a shot
00:33:22.540 and the force and the state doesn't back me why do i want to be in this job so in order to replenish
00:33:27.380 the reserves they've kicked the diversity into overdrive and recruited a bunch of people with
00:33:32.540 lacking trigger discipline yeah but the thing is this has been part of the plan
00:33:38.300 just like in every other regard now there have been people saying well hang on a second uh this
00:33:43.760 this photo of 2024 and it's of a woman called fiona shake umar so again a convert she's actually
00:33:52.200 got an irish accent um but married in then she's married in yeah but as you can see here on
00:33:58.260 international women's day i wanted to take a moment to acknowledge all the amazingly inspiring
00:34:02.240 women i've had the pleasure of working with since joining the metropolitan police so whatever you
00:34:06.480 think happened in bioware okay that sucks but it's going to be worse yeah this is like the well all
00:34:12.260 these wokesters uh just on college campuses they won't get into the institutions they might just
00:34:16.020 be in the failing video game companies no they're in the police also i did notice right at the bottom 0.99
00:34:19.540 there um women of color in policing is this stolen valor yes um anyway she says uh it's an 0.66
00:34:26.160 organization that's been dominated by men those truly inspiring see women now moving up through 1.00
00:34:30.900 the ranks and having equal opportunities to have a seat at the table women shouldn't be frontline
00:34:34.900 police officers let alone armed but what's really interesting is this next paragraph i've often been
00:34:39.320 in heated conversations when i share my views that men and women are not equal and i stand on that
00:34:44.320 in terms of the nature of male and female we have different strengths in different areas
00:34:48.520 we are not the same we were made to be different 0.51
00:34:51.440 yeah no obviously that's fair that's the that's the islamic opinion that is also a normal opinion
00:35:00.040 yeah exactly so why are you going yeah so i'm taught i i i'm there is a tension between the
00:35:07.160 women are exactly the same as men and should have exactly equal opportunities men and men and women
00:35:12.020 are different right and in the same statement she's like yeah no i'm i'm uh inspiring woman
00:35:19.220 who's uh going up through the ranks of course men and women are different i shouldn't be stood here
00:35:23.340 with a gun but i'm going to anyway she didn't say that she shouldn't be stood there with a gun
00:35:27.980 Well, that's the implication of what she's saying there, right?
00:35:30.900 That's the express implication of what she's saying there.
00:35:33.660 But then, is the Islamic side of her saying, 0.92
00:35:36.480 oh, no, I definitely need to be stood here with a gun? 0.55
00:35:38.900 No, it's the woke side of her is saying that, actually, 0.95
00:35:42.840 and we'll get into more of the woke side in a second.
00:35:45.900 She did point out that, look, this isn't a loaded firearm,
00:35:49.220 and I was just training, and this was before I did the training,
00:35:52.400 and in her defence, yeah, that's fair, right?
00:35:55.060 This was before she'd done the training.
00:35:56.280 this is when she'd been recruited in 2024 to do the training so you know in her defense fair enough
00:36:01.880 the training shouldn't be available to you well mark rowley came out and called you an islamophobe
00:36:07.720 for that of course he did obviously uh you know he's a pc watching the show yeah i know pc fiona
00:36:13.040 sheikh umar was recognized for outstanding contribution that she's made to women in
00:36:17.660 policing now that outstanding contribution is being a woman in policing that's the outstanding
00:36:24.340 contribution, right? These people
00:36:26.260 haven't met her, they don't know her important work 0.99
00:36:28.100 it's representation. That's what it all is
00:36:30.360 it's all representation. And Mark Rowley
00:36:32.340 has been shocked
00:36:33.960 absolutely shocked at the
00:36:36.160 disgusting country he finds himself in
00:36:38.420 Did he react this way to Henry Novak's murder
00:36:40.280 by any chance? No, of course not. No. But
00:36:41.960 I mean this is a direct quote on BBC Radio 4
00:36:44.420 this is a vile world to be a
00:36:46.320 public servant in. It's because you're destroying the country
00:36:48.480 But look at, look, but what
00:36:50.040 an attitude that is, right
00:36:52.240 you
00:36:53.600 we are where good is because we're producing female muslim representation the rest of you 0.96
00:37:00.660 are disgusting because you are critical of that so this whole thing is oh actually we in the 0.99
00:37:07.260 institutions are the good people we are the pure people we are the smart people we're the decent
00:37:11.380 people and the rest of the country is benighted and evil and vile yeah this is this is the attitude
00:37:17.480 of pretty much all like liberal philosophy including on the left and right of course the
00:37:20.660 institutions are where moral legitimacy resides
00:37:22.600 and it's the job of the institutions to inflict
00:37:24.540 progressive values that are in our
00:37:26.840 best interest on the population whether they
00:37:28.680 like it or not. But this
00:37:29.820 was like an incredible slip
00:37:32.680 of the tongue from Mark Raleigh. It was just on the radio
00:37:34.740 going, yeah, no, no, it's just a vile world
00:37:36.580 we live in. It's like,
00:37:37.780 I actually don't think that it's actually
00:37:40.500 very useful to have a police
00:37:42.640 force that considers the rest of the country
00:37:44.520 to be vile moral
00:37:46.000 intermensch. I actually think that's kind of a bad thing.
00:37:49.400 Especially if they're pointing the guns at us.
00:37:50.660 Exactly, especially if your training field point guns us.
00:37:55.120 Now, I might be more sympathetic to Mark Rowley's position if the Met were actually good at their jobs, right?
00:38:00.380 But they're not, right?
00:38:01.320 So from the crime outcomes in England and Wales from the last year,
00:38:05.300 if you're murdered, then your murderer has a 61% chance of getting arrested based on the numbers.
00:38:14.480 So 40% of them roughly go unsolved.
00:38:19.220 40% of murders.
00:38:20.660 in london go unsolved well nationwide in england wales upwards of like 99 of burglaries are never
00:38:26.100 solved either yeah yeah well well only 10 of robberies are charged and summonsed uh nine
00:38:31.920 percent of thefts eight percent of violence with injury six percent of violence without injury
00:38:37.180 4.7 percent of sexual offensives 4.5 percent of stalking and harassment and 3.4 percent of rape
00:38:44.880 yeah there's one of those every 52 minutes it's mental yep it's absolutely mental in london over 0.75
00:38:50.500 half of them are committed by foreigners yes i mean like if you're in possession of weapons it's 0.98
00:38:55.300 31 of them charged drug offenses 20 uh public order offenses 9.8 it's like what you are not 0.53
00:39:02.960 doing your jobs right it's very clear you're not actually doing the bloody job it's it's kind of
00:39:09.340 mad that's premised on the job being solving crime rather than just give opportunities and 0.80
00:39:15.280 photo ops to brown people yes rather than and and that's exactly what it's sorry i'm gonna have to
00:39:19.960 Oh, that's fine. 0.88
00:39:20.560 Go back to the next one now.
00:39:22.260 And that's really what this is about. 1.00
00:39:24.740 Because, again, look at this image that Fiona... 1.00
00:39:27.260 This is vanity. 1.00
00:39:28.320 Exactly.
00:39:28.920 It's all a vanity project.
00:39:31.620 It's, you know, look at this.
00:39:32.720 She believed she could, so she did.
00:39:35.080 Despite the abuse I got, I still put an expression of interest
00:39:37.580 with firearms attachment and secured a spot in the September intake.
00:39:41.040 First piece of learning how to hold a weapon correctly.
00:39:43.380 Again, this is 2024, right? 0.61
00:39:44.940 This girl can. 0.95
00:39:46.080 By the way, did you have the other instance of famous Muslim representation
00:39:49.600 the Met Police lined up at any point.
00:39:52.460 No, just this one. 0.68
00:39:53.220 Do you remember that female Muslim police officer
00:39:55.360 that they were all praising during COVID? 1.00
00:39:57.260 Is that the one that had the...
00:39:58.460 Yeah, and then it turned out
00:40:00.180 that she got let go from the force
00:40:01.340 because she was posting on social media 0.99
00:40:02.880 filthy kafars are drinking from my cup. 1.00
00:40:04.900 Yeah. 1.00
00:40:06.000 So...
00:40:06.600 But then you combine that with Mark Rowley's
00:40:08.320 we live in a vile, debauched, fallen country.
00:40:10.840 Yeah, you noticing her social media posts
00:40:12.580 is what makes you vile. 0.95
00:40:13.800 Yeah.
00:40:14.020 I agree with Mark Rowley on that
00:40:15.340 just for different reasons.
00:40:16.460 Yeah, quite.
00:40:17.580 Agreed, but maybe
00:40:19.320 the people at the top of the institution shouldn't have such
00:40:21.480 a hateful view to the public they're supposed to be
00:40:23.440 serving. Well, do you remember when he was being
00:40:25.260 questioned about two-tier policing and then he stormed
00:40:27.600 out of the program meeting and slapped the
00:40:29.380 microphone down? Yes. Petulant little man.
00:40:31.580 He is. He is.
00:40:33.120 Anyway, so she, 0.71
00:40:35.360 for vanity's sake,
00:40:37.660 is just being given 1.00
00:40:39.260 awards for just being a woman in 0.99
00:40:41.260 policing. 0.98
00:40:42.940 This is actually the reason.
00:40:45.640 I'm really humbled to receive this
00:40:47.340 award today um it came as quite a surprise to me um but the work i'm doing to promote inclusion
00:40:52.640 diversity can we turn that up a bit please as a woman from obviously an ethnic minority within
00:40:58.260 policing it's really important to show that and show representation um and actually me joining
00:41:04.460 policing came off the back of a comment from my young daughter saying can people like you do that
00:41:08.820 job um so this award is actually quite personal to me um and i feel really true yeah well that's
00:41:13.860 quite quiet but she literally says as a as an ethnic minority woman in policing irish yeah
00:41:20.360 she's got an irish accent her name's fiona i think she's like that's why the women in
00:41:26.500 like police women of color she's been franklin opinion yeah yeah exactly she's uh very upon the
00:41:32.860 irish her work on the hijab project brilliant i'm glad we're just funneling loads more money
00:41:36.900 into just her outstanding contribution to women in policing is being a woman with a hijab project
00:41:41.140 to get women police wearing yeah yeah she was also given uh this uh she she explained why again
00:41:50.380 today i've won the outstanding contribution to women for the federation of policing
00:41:55.860 and uh what does that mean to you um the award is really um it took me by surprise initially
00:42:03.840 um truly humbled to receive this award um because i'm super passionate about the work i do around
00:42:08.360 representation and inclusion for women in policing and I never thought about a
00:42:13.100 career in the police until my daughter at the time said to me can women like you
00:42:17.460 do that job and I was really offended because obviously she'd never seen
00:42:20.840 someone who looked like me being a police officer and it's because of that
00:42:24.380 that I have continued to do this work and to try and create a space for women
00:42:28.400 who look like me in policing across the UK and so in this work obviously I want
00:42:36.440 to continue representing and want to continue building that picture that we do belong we do
00:42:40.780 have a place in policing and ultimately create a legacy where people like my daughter can grow up
00:42:45.780 and actually realize that there is a place for them there is a seat for them at the table
00:42:48.940 and it doesn't matter what you look like um to do that her job is representing whole point of
00:42:54.680 public service is you're providing a service not to yourself the whole not right every institution 1.00
00:43:02.260 is being engineered to flatter and make women and brown people feel better. 0.98
00:43:08.720 That's why nothing is working. 1.00
00:43:11.100 And this woman is an avatar of everything wrong with that. 1.00
00:43:14.240 And even though in the Islamic mindset she's like, 1.00
00:43:17.040 well, men in women are different and they've got different roles
00:43:18.980 and they're complementary, blah, blah, blah. 0.89
00:43:20.960 In the progressive mind, she's like, yeah, well, I'm going to get paid
00:43:24.540 and promoted and it will flatter my vanity
00:43:26.840 to just be the work of representation in this job.
00:43:31.120 so now I have a gun
00:43:32.140 Dave Green had a fantastic insight about this
00:43:34.480 on a recent Substack post 0.99
00:43:36.700 and that is that feminism is like pornography 1.00
00:43:39.700 and there is no concrete definition of it 1.00
00:43:41.500 and that's because it is purposefully nebulous
00:43:43.720 because it is a
00:43:44.520 as Helen Andrews has spoken about 1.00
00:43:46.280 it is a phenomenon that emerges from female high points 1.00
00:43:49.080 female group chats 1.00
00:43:49.760 feminism just means now 1.00
00:43:51.180 it codes as being pro-woman 1.00
00:43:52.520 and so it can emerge on the right 0.99
00:43:54.640 it can emerge on the left
00:43:55.460 it can even emerge among Islamic converts 0.99
00:43:57.500 because being pro-woman gets you 0.89
00:43:59.520 like um a claim from all of the women that around you that are your social consensus that are your 0.95
00:44:04.860 consensus reality and so as soon as you allow women into these institutions and you give them 0.97
00:44:09.880 purchase they will they will push forward politics that leads to i'm pro-women i'm on the side of 0.81
00:44:16.100 women and therefore we should give women more stuff so public life becomes about making women
00:44:20.300 feel better in in in the progressive frame yes right so on the right as well no i'm not i'm not
00:44:26.220 I'm not I'm not saying it's not on the right but what what I mean is it's about the motivation
00:44:30.380 right so you notice her motivation was resentful it was negative oh you said I couldn't do this
00:44:35.500 well now I couldn't do this women couldn't do this now I have to do this she didn't do it because she
00:44:40.000 worked really hard trained really hard went to gun ranges did all the stuff she she arrived at where 0.97
00:44:44.300 she is because all of the doors open because she was like I'm a I'm a Muslim woman I'd like to be
00:44:48.600 given entry please and they're like brilliant finally representation that's literally your
00:44:52.240 job here's an award for being a muslim woman doing this job right and this is just because this is
00:44:56.720 literally the doctrine of the police i mean this is from the college of policing women in firearms 0.53
00:45:02.200 attachment program to increase female representation in firearms roles that's how she got to there
00:45:08.420 it's not that she was good it's not that she even wanted to do it it's that they were like god thank
00:45:13.260 god and this is from january this year right this is not like from 2016 or something we've passed
00:45:19.520 peak woke yeah no we have not passed peak woke look at the topic diversity equity and inclusion
00:45:24.080 this is exactly what they do and this is the point they're like the aim is to increase female
00:45:29.760 representation with the metropolitan police service firearms commands while strengthening
00:45:33.880 trust and confidence internally and externally well that's my confidence weakened through
00:45:38.260 immersive experience they gain authentic insight into firearms roles the intended outcome enhanced
00:45:43.880 gender diversity is the only point of this not shooting people more effectively no
00:45:49.460 a significant increase in female representation within firearms commands oh jesus christ man
00:45:55.420 i'm a bit nervous that's all i'm saying a little bit nervous be careful what you tweet
00:46:04.400 yeah you know and anyway so they're going to get the deployments in various firearm commands
00:46:09.360 you know they've got all of this thing the evaluation yeah this worked really well
00:46:13.600 we got more women in firearms which was difficult because previously we'd actually had trouble doing
00:46:18.640 that so yep we we removed key barriers the standards my understandable prejudices based
00:46:26.060 on real world experience seeing that men are going to be more effective physically capable
00:46:31.380 and disciplined firearms officers look at these things welcoming environment skill development
00:46:37.180 confidence building easy participation i've been so i've been i've been in a hospital for the last
00:46:43.360 month because you know babies and these signs are everywhere these sort of ubiquitous you've
00:46:50.180 got to feel good we're gonna have like a crying session here's a blanket values
00:46:53.840 they don't belong anywhere but if there's one place they don't belong it's in a job where you
00:46:58.380 are killing people yeah well you've got to shoot terrorists yeah or you know violent criminals
00:47:02.580 yeah your average drill rap ganger weirdly if you're the kind of person who needs a welcoming
00:47:08.540 environment you need your confidence built you need easy participation like i'm i'm sorry i don't
00:47:14.400 think you're the person to do the hard job in a high stress scenario where you're getting shot at
00:47:18.600 yeah and that's why of course as you said the the sam hyde point unfortunately is is just inescapable 0.65
00:47:24.840 if you ever catch the eye of a female cop
00:47:29.880 hope you wore your bulletproof vest
00:47:35.900 hope you got your vest on man i am praying for you unironically because that gun on her waist
00:47:44.940 at some point is going to accidentally go off she's going to draw it out thinking it's a taser
00:47:50.200 she's going to have her finger on the trigger before she's ready to fire the officer drew
00:47:54.000 their handgun instead of their taser something you did made her feel threatened you're taller
00:47:59.980 than her she feels threatened for her life the only recourse she has physically is to shoot you 0.84
00:48:05.660 this was an accidental discharge as we saw i just hope that if you ever get pulled over by a woman
00:48:12.540 you're wearing a bulletproof vest and a kevlar helmet now this this clip i mean the thing is
00:48:19.720 the funny thing is i i just made a joke the mainstream kind of recognizes this as well
00:48:24.600 because in the recent lanterns tv show the the like lead draw of the show the main character
00:48:32.140 old jordan gets shot in the face by his like police officer girlfriend because they're having
00:48:37.020 an argument and because she just overreacts she just turns around shoots him in the head
00:48:40.640 but that's what all of this that's what they're telling us with this
00:48:44.940 Maybe I misunderstood James Gunn this whole time.
00:48:48.020 You need a welcoming environment.
00:48:49.900 You need confidence building.
00:48:51.480 You need easy participation.
00:48:53.160 We need to coddle them into a difficult and dangerous job.
00:48:56.740 This is the funny thing why it doesn't work
00:48:58.560 when you have, like, LARPers on Twitter
00:49:03.120 when you see a video of, like,
00:49:05.120 a tiny female Asian drill sergeant shouting,
00:49:09.040 and they're like, 0.98
00:49:09.560 you don't understand. 1.00
00:49:10.920 This woman's going to chew you out. 1.00
00:49:12.500 She's going to be the scariest girl you ever said. 1.00
00:49:14.260 yeah sure bro yeah yeah okay please tell me more yeah and so you'll see this clip in you know
00:49:20.040 published to any video i'm not going to play it because i mean it literally shows from the body
00:49:25.060 cam footage of this female cop they're having a bit of struggle with a guy in a car and she's
00:49:29.600 like taser bang bang bang it's like i showed him i showed him she drops the gun and suddenly she's
00:49:34.440 the victim of her own actions that okay if she hesitates she's smaller than the assailant she 0.86
00:49:39.680 gets overpowered let's say in many of these islamic attacks whatever they only have a knife 0.89
00:49:44.360 they overpower the firearms officer brilliant they've now got an automatic weapon yes yes so 0.93
00:49:49.880 anyway the point being is uh i mean don't get me wrong i i think most men shouldn't be doing this
00:49:56.500 job um anyway that's one aspect of the intersection of a muslim woman being a firearms officer
00:50:04.640 Then you have the other aspect, which is the Islamic aspect.
00:50:09.020 Now, this is the National Association of Muslim Police.
00:50:11.620 It generates non-stop problems. 1.00
00:50:14.000 Yeah, it does. Yeah, that's correct.
00:50:16.300 They aim to address inequality within the police service.
00:50:19.620 That is literally the point.
00:50:22.740 Literally, the support we provide, we aim to address inequality within the police service
00:50:26.920 and work to ensure that all forces are representative of the communities they serve.
00:50:30.660 They don't, though.
00:50:31.200 What they do is they exist to advance the... 0.93
00:50:34.520 Sectarian interests, yes. 0.91
00:50:35.700 ...of Muslims. 0.99
00:50:36.440 Yes.
00:50:37.200 I mean, literally, promoting Islam within the service
00:50:40.340 and the awareness of the wider community,
00:50:41.620 they literally tell you.
00:50:42.760 It's just the Home Office Islamic Network.
00:50:44.400 Yes.
00:50:44.940 This is actually, the Met Police had their own one,
00:50:46.700 and they had a guy called Mohammed Khosbar sitting on it
00:50:48.380 who met with Sadiq Khan a bunch of times.
00:50:49.800 Oh, it'll be an umbrella group of this.
00:50:51.220 Yeah, it turns out he was on the board of Finsbury Park Mosque,
00:50:53.380 and he praised Hamas on October 7th
00:50:55.480 as the Masters of the Martyrs of Resistance.
00:50:57.400 Well, there we go.
00:50:57.980 you know and like i said it's improving career progression so advancing muslims through the
00:51:03.700 institutions uh influencing the decision the direction of national policies which is interesting
00:51:09.680 uh and tackling islamophobia and common misconceptions yeah so criminalizing your 0.74
00:51:14.180 thoughts about that yeah so not only do we have feminism we've got islamo feminism which is
00:51:17.980 amazing i love the mcpherson report oh yeah and of course you know how could this go wrong you
00:51:23.400 know i mean what what possible scandals could this be involved in um well you've got obviously
00:51:27.540 the policy exchange uh being like well this is actually undermining police impartiality it's
00:51:32.880 like yeah no kidding no kidding how could it you literally have sharia police yeah yeah exactly
00:51:39.480 right uh i mean these these uh people are obviously um politically charged in one direction
00:51:47.940 on certain international political issues regarding uh israel and palestine personally
00:51:54.980 i care more for the fact that a number of times muslim police officers have been found out to 0.99
00:51:58.700 have been collaborating with grooming things that's way more yeah that's also true these are
00:52:03.220 these are all like it's it's a series of problems that are um just expected community prejudices
00:52:11.840 are explicit in this organization obviously and uh yeah so you've got the policy exchange
00:52:19.080 was just like uh no all of this has to go it's like yes in an in a sensible world all of this
00:52:24.700 would go and would never have been brought into existence but again going back to uh her point
00:52:29.880 at the beginning she even acknowledges hang on well men and women aren't equal like i don't agree
00:52:34.660 with any of this on a pre-progressive frame but look where it's got her like look where it's got
00:52:41.100 it's got her the the the grace of the institution coming out and praising her in defense it's got
00:52:47.120 him making a fool of himself on international tv it's got her getting all of these awards and
00:52:51.540 plaudits and mass applause, and it's advanced her career because she is a Muslim woman. This
00:52:57.300 intersection of these two characteristics that there happen to be mass institutional support
00:53:03.660 for. And it's like, okay, great. Great. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? That's all I'm asking.
00:53:12.540 Sigil Stone says, can we get a deep dive in the egregores of today and how they infect others?
00:53:16.300 Maybe. I'm actually, it is something I'd like to talk about more. Why do they always say they
00:53:20.420 need someone that looks like them to do a specific job i've never heard a white man say that well
00:53:24.100 you know what right i'm actually coming around to the way that they think yeah same i really am i
00:53:28.200 just want competent heterosexual married white men running everything yeah seriously whenever i 1.00
00:53:32.540 get on a plane man yeah feminism was established so to allow unattractive women easier access to 1.00
00:53:39.740 the mainstream society rush limbaugh um it's not it's not just unattractive anymore no it's just 0.83
00:53:45.220 i want to be pro-woman therefore i'll go along with all of the other just self-sabotaging talking
00:53:49.720 point yeah anyway right let's let's carry on all right then where's the math there it is
00:53:56.840 all right folks there is a spectre haunting economics the spectre of gary stevenson
00:54:06.320 otherwise known as gary's economics who only a few months ago it was being celebrated by many
00:54:12.260 people that he was leaving finally because this guy got a huge boost a while back i assume that
00:54:18.800 He has some great PR team and a number of people
00:54:22.380 boosting his posts and such on social media
00:54:25.060 because for a while you could not escape this guy
00:54:28.180 and his, would it be fair to say, populist leftist economic bent?
00:54:33.940 I mean, he's just fairly standard Labour, to be honest.
00:54:35.900 He's fairly standard Labour, but it's sort of like
00:54:38.400 dressed in this kind of pro-populist left-style rhetoric.
00:54:42.580 It's soft left economics.
00:54:44.760 The problem was Keir Starmer wasn't listening.
00:54:47.240 Keir Starmer's Labour wasn't listening to Gary.
00:54:50.020 And Andy Burnham's Labour is going to be a lot more amenable to it
00:54:52.940 because they basically believe the same nonsense things about economics.
00:54:56.260 Yeah, but he got a huge boost.
00:54:58.020 He was everywhere.
00:54:59.100 He got a lot of pushback.
00:55:00.480 And then he decided back in July, it was time to say goodbye.
00:55:04.420 And everybody cheered and celebrated and such.
00:55:07.940 Now, I never really hated Gary Stevenson as much as a lot of other people.
00:55:11.380 I was profoundly unimpressed.
00:55:12.640 Yeah, my main thing was that he was honestly, for the most part,
00:55:16.580 bringing up genuine issues and then pointing to the exact wrong causes or the exact wrong solutions
00:55:22.600 almost to the point where either he was doing it deliberately or he was just a bit dim and a lot
00:55:28.540 of people assumed given the way that he talks and and sort of like displays himself that it was just
00:55:33.860 that he was a bit dim i'm gonna say deliberately just because of the rapid speed at which he was
00:55:38.540 deployed on bbc news night multiple times oh yes but it seems that some parts of his pr network
00:55:46.040 Before we go on, I think it's worth remembering.
00:55:48.260 So, Gary claims to have been, what was it, the world's greatest trader?
00:55:53.640 London's best trader.
00:55:54.440 London's best trader.
00:55:55.460 And he claims to have made millions and millions of pounds.
00:55:57.160 Most people came out and said, never heard of him.
00:55:58.600 Yeah, and a bunch of the people who worked with him on the desk,
00:56:01.120 they were just like, well, he's somewhere in the middle.
00:56:02.920 He's a bit middling, which I think is more likely.
00:56:05.780 But the point is, he says, well, I made millions of pounds
00:56:07.660 doing, you know, share trading or whatever in the city.
00:56:10.660 And so I actually don't need to do this,
00:56:12.800 although subscribe to my Patreon for some reason.
00:56:14.600 and so it's like okay well last ever video okay well he's just going to sail into the sunset with
00:56:18.740 his millions of pounds and we'll never have to hear from him again he doesn't need to do this
00:56:22.640 i think the reason he gave behind this was essentially i'm tired boss yeah uh it was that
00:56:28.940 oh it turns out peter mcormack refuted me on twitter it turns out doing a bunch of youtube
00:56:34.040 videos constantly talking about economics is not changing the world and therefore i'm going to have
00:56:38.980 to re-evaluate how i'm approaching all of this bye bye but his twitter account is still active
00:56:44.540 posting little clips every now and again uh including some that i don't necessarily disagree
00:56:49.980 with i mean it's incredibly broad and basic stuff like yeah if the economy is bad and you have no
00:56:55.500 opportunities this will impact your quality of life of course there's no mention given to who
00:57:01.900 is being impacted by the bad economy and whose opportunities are being deliberately stifled
00:57:08.220 and their quality of life made worse but you know that broadly yeah kind of kind of makes sense
00:57:15.560 uh but the there was one that went out just the other day that everybody started responding to
00:57:21.880 because this is this is an old clip that got some big traction again and i think it's worth
00:57:26.400 addressing the central claim here because this is a central tenet of modern leftist economics
00:57:32.080 and political economy why billionaires blame immigrants the billionaires want to divide the
00:57:39.480 natural multicultural working class the multi-ethnic bloc that would all band together
00:57:46.520 hold hands across the world and sing kumbaya and tax the billionaires out of existence if it weren't 0.91
00:57:52.780 just for the billionaires pushing their division and hate on you this is so nonsense i mean even
00:57:58.300 like the most right-wing billionaire that we have is elon musk and even he was last year was a mega
00:58:04.180 h1b advocate he still is yeah yeah it was it was at the end of 2024 two years ago now and he's never
00:58:10.600 really walked that back and is still very enthusiastic for the program and he is by far
00:58:14.480 the most right-wing publicly of all of the billionaires yeah and and it goes through all
00:58:18.400 the sorts of normal uh normal talking points that you expect the interest of the rich don't need to
00:58:23.520 hear him yeah and you can see the little infographics all of these people it's just like
00:58:27.520 there was that navara media interview a few months ago sorry sorry this this actually this is actually
00:58:33.800 remarkable right if we can go back to the second like yeah that that that is that is actually quite
00:58:40.380 a good representation of why billionaires love immigrants but yes i want to get as many people in
00:58:45.280 so my way my my uh costs for employees are as low as possible and so theoretically they generate as
00:58:51.880 many taxes are possible well the the thing that he is arguing is that immigrants somehow form a
00:58:57.720 block from taxing billionaires what i didn't understand the logic particularly either as 0.98
00:59:06.040 though the like getting a load of brown people in your country will prevent the government from 0.80
00:59:10.080 taxing you the the immigrant loves all these the billionaire loves all the immigrants it expands 0.77
00:59:14.300 the consumer base it pushes up asset prices it drives down the cost of labor and per internal
00:59:19.920 documents at amazon it stops unionizing exactly i just why am i doing left-wing economics better
00:59:25.840 than you are but this isn't even left-wing economics this is just the fact of it this is
00:59:31.020 just what that this is why they're all in favor of open borders we hate billionaires not george
00:59:35.560 soros yeah god yeah and the thing is this is a pretty typical thing i see people talk about
00:59:42.320 all the time on social media it doesn't take much if i go on like instagram or facebook and i can
00:59:47.520 find somebody posting something about how you don't understand that the billionaires want you
00:59:54.020 to hate the immigrants to divide us and again my point was that there was that guy there was that
01:00:00.500 guy from uh who wasn't from stoke but lived in stoke who was saying that stoke's a perfect case
01:00:05.900 study for multiculturalism which it is but not in the way that he was saying it was because he was
01:00:10.280 saying stoke works great i'm from near stoke i've been to stoke recently it's a shithole yeah the
01:00:16.440 town centre in Hanley is one
01:00:18.580 of the most crime ridden places
01:00:20.260 in the entire country, one of the most
01:00:22.560 dangerous places in the entire country. Oh we got a video comment on
01:00:24.580 the other day didn't we? Yes we certainly did
01:00:26.560 it's a terrible place to be
01:00:28.180 but he was making this argument
01:00:30.660 as well that actually
01:00:32.760 when you take billionaires out of the equation
01:00:34.460 we all just like get along man
01:00:36.380 I go to my Jamaican like dive bar 1.00
01:00:38.940 which is absolute nonsense 1.00
01:00:40.940 and it is kind of a
01:00:42.580 foundational pillar of
01:00:44.760 modern leftist economic thought which is kind of just goes to show how easily they've been captured 0.99
01:00:50.420 the billionaires forcing the indians to poo in the local river yeah like what what the billionaires 0.61
01:00:56.540 forcing a pakistani man to have ducked yeah i saw you had an orm one already yeah forcing the 0.58
01:01:03.400 schizophrenic african everyone go follow orm he's a fantastic anon account it's yeah he is very good
01:01:07.880 but this is exactly the the what the left must here is this is jeff bezos yeah right here sending 0.59
01:01:14.520 out psychic waves the african would have just like joined a local charity and football group
01:01:20.200 if it weren't for the elon has a little pakistani voodoo doll and he's just constantly pressing it 0.99
01:01:24.060 upon british children yeah but you can you can see it everywhere immigrants versus billion these are
01:01:29.360 the guys inviting them in i'm sorry i'm sorry you know elon has a certain sentimentality towards
01:01:35.120 britain but when it comes to america he wants them in for his own workforce this is for a number of
01:01:40.820 different. And he's been explicit about that.
01:01:42.620 And I say this as a supporter
01:01:44.860 and defender of Elon. This is the
01:01:46.780 market mentor, the socialist
01:01:48.940 worker. Immigration is not a problem.
01:01:50.840 The billionaires and bosses are. They just want you to 0.87
01:01:52.760 hate the immigrants. I'm not going to take socialist
01:01:54.920 workers. Zoe Gardner, your favourite.
01:01:57.980 Billionaires want 0.55
01:01:59.020 you to hate immigrants, 1.00
01:02:00.700 so we don't blame them for our 1.00
01:02:02.820 problems. What if it's a combination?
01:02:05.480 Why does it have to be either or?
01:02:07.040 Yeah, it's not. This is just
01:02:08.900 the system and the thing is like the billionaires because it's very difficult these days to actually
01:02:14.120 talk about any sort of separation especially when talk about huge corporations um with the private
01:02:19.580 and the public wait like tony blair and all the others talk about the public private partnership
01:02:24.140 it's not even like it's just the billionaires it's the billionaires in collaboration with the
01:02:28.580 politicians because gary's the government gary's solution is oh we all need to like work together
01:02:33.560 right and uh then brand is that we need to we need to work together and we need to let the
01:02:41.200 politicians know you need to put more more of a more and more side i'm tired i'm being put upon
01:02:47.040 that's you need to up your impression a bit here i'm gonna stop that's what i'm gonna do i'm gonna 0.73
01:02:51.640 stop um but his his solution is all the all the multicultural multi-ethnic working class needs to
01:02:58.520 band together and tell the politicians the politicians are working with the billionaires
01:03:03.540 they both benefit off of it if you're a billionaire you have massive links to the political class
01:03:08.660 the billionaire lobbies the politicians by giving them donations the politicians open the borders
01:03:12.980 and the billionaire employs the immigrants half of the and then also after they've finished their 0.94
01:03:17.800 time at time in office the billionaire then employs the politician in a cushy do-nothing job point
01:03:22.460 yeah most of the people she's going to complain about about the current like billionaire tech
01:03:25.900 of the box in america most of the cia contractors yes oh yeah that's also true like uh huge amounts
01:03:31.420 of money from the government like um teal yeah it's elon as well yeah elon as well what's the
01:03:37.220 name of it i forget palantir yeah and andrew star shield yeah they're all just they're not even like
01:03:42.520 private companies that got picked up by the cia they're just cia to begin with it's kind of crazy
01:03:47.780 when you think of it was initially but the funny thing is people were pointing this out as well
01:03:52.440 And there's some really good examples that I've drawn from this.
01:03:55.200 You have the same views on immigration as a billionaire Zionist landlord.
01:03:59.160 This is Australia's richest man, Harry Trigaboff, 0.69
01:04:03.320 saying that Australia needs more immigrants to boost housing prices.
01:04:06.940 Now, I've tracked down this article from The Noticer,
01:04:10.640 and I've got some interesting information here,
01:04:13.580 because this guy is like the ultimate caricature of the evil billionaire.
01:04:18.980 Listen to all of this. 0.92
01:04:19.920 So a property tycoon, obviously, Harry Trigaboff, he has to be called Harry, doesn't he, has said Australia should bring in more immigrants and loosen lending and foreign investment rules so, you know, so that your foreigners can asset strip your country in order to boost housing prices.
01:04:39.200 he's 93 years old obviously and he said in an article published in the website of his company 0.77
01:04:45.800 meritan properties the country needs migrants and warned of a catastrophe in real estate
01:04:50.660 that he said was making people not want to work hard he said that the stagnant real estate market
01:04:56.860 where house prices had fallen 0.7 percent nationwide bear in mind that australia has
01:05:02.500 ridiculous house prices to begin with they'd fallen 0.7 percent nationwide from their peak
01:05:07.960 after rises in interest rates
01:05:09.760 meant the country was in a terrible mess
01:05:11.760 and argued restrictive bank lending
01:05:13.600 was partly to blame.
01:05:14.940 So we need to increase debt as well.
01:05:18.020 He quote, here's a quote from him.
01:05:20.220 If prices keep dropping,
01:05:22.400 buyers will disappear. 0.99
01:05:25.600 Well, I mean, foreign buyers.
01:05:27.460 Yes. 1.00
01:05:27.940 It's a natural instinct to adopt
01:05:29.780 a wait-and-see approach.
01:05:31.200 The mindset is,
01:05:32.300 why buy today?
01:05:33.640 What will be cheaper tomorrow?
01:05:35.120 Now, this is, like you say,
01:05:36.300 the foreign investor mindset.
01:05:37.960 For the person, the Australian wanting to buy his actual first house,
01:05:43.200 falling house prices are great. 0.86
01:05:45.400 Yeah, but for an actual Australian who lives in Australia
01:05:48.140 and wants to buy a house to live there,
01:05:49.780 it doesn't even have to be the first house.
01:05:50.960 Maybe you want to buy a slightly bigger house or whatever.
01:05:52.900 But it would be better if actually the property market
01:05:56.420 wasn't controlled by a tycoon.
01:05:58.420 And who's opening the borders?
01:06:00.120 As people stop buying, he says, they stop working hard.
01:06:03.720 But then if they buy and then they have families,
01:06:06.080 then you get even more customers in the future also i don't think that a house should be seen
01:06:12.040 as an investment asset to be sold later on it should be like you should have a home
01:06:17.000 there sure it should be easier to get into it and then probably i would also say planning
01:06:23.140 permission for actual extensions on your home because as your family grows bigger you might
01:06:27.340 want to extend your home that should be loosened a little bit so that i can buy this house and when
01:06:31.980 it's time for me to like expand it because my family's bigger i shouldn't have to move out of
01:06:36.320 the local area to somewhere bigger i should just be able to like if i've got space build it bigger
01:06:41.420 so then it's there's continuity there right it's beautiful philip hammond the former chancellor
01:06:46.120 said basically the same thing about when labor did their last budget because he said right you're
01:06:50.160 going to need more immigrants to meet the housing build target of 1.5 million even though those
01:06:57.160 houses are going to the immigrants you're going to bring in to build them and so it's almost like
01:07:01.220 they've picked this guy up at the the you know the buzz lightyear store in toy story 2 yeah but
01:07:05.860 all the same tory donors all the same people that are donating to the republican party which is why
01:07:09.500 trump once said i want to keep boomer property prices high even though the average age of home
01:07:13.800 buying is like 45 in america now like this is the class that is strip mining our nations of the
01:07:19.660 ability for us to have a home and a family and they have the exact same attitudes towards
01:07:24.000 immigration as the green party but don't worry there's more don't worry there's more in april
01:07:28.960 of last year he said the housing crisis had quote little to do with immigration and in october 2024
01:07:34.640 said the major parties should quote stop attacking foreigners and fast track development approvals
01:07:40.480 claiming the solution to the housing crisis was more immigrants and more homes it's amazing you
01:07:45.760 found a billionaire that literally thinks exactly the same as gary's yeah five months before that
01:07:50.600 mr trigger buff complained that australia needed more migrants from everywhere since he was seeing
01:07:56.440 fewer Chinese buyers for his apartments managed by under his property portfolio.
01:08:02.800 Meryton has built more than 80,000 apartments on Australia's east coast, including 5,000 in
01:08:08.640 Sydney, and it owns and operates as rental properties. It also leases privately owned
01:08:13.600 apartments in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast through Meryton property management.
01:08:17.840 The rental income has allowed Mr. Triggerbuff to offset lower sales during his economic downturns,
01:08:23.400 And in 2024, he revealed that he was only putting one third of his new apartments on the open market due to a lack of Chinese buyers.
01:08:32.080 Hang on, so immigration has nothing to do with the housing crisis, but we have to increase immigration to increase demand for housing.
01:08:36.640 Also, if we don't get enough immigrants, I'm going to artificially lower the supply of housing to keep prices high. 0.77
01:08:43.480 So he wants more immigrants, he loves private banks and wants foreigners to be able to asset strip your nation. 0.94
01:08:49.980 he is a also a landlord who restricts the rent of his properties to artificially reduce supply 0.58
01:08:57.420 and boost demand this guy is like an evil cardboard cutout of a saturday morning cartoon
01:09:04.320 robocop billionaire he should be in the castle with the rest of the members of the simpson but
01:09:08.520 he's real but he's real and he has the same immigration policy as gary stevenson i mean
01:09:15.580 that's literally the guy this is literally the guy there he is but there's more there's more
01:09:23.140 because we also know amazon and whole foods love immigration because greater racial diversity have
01:09:29.460 actual like ai heat maps to show how likely you are as a company to to as a workforce to unionize
01:09:37.020 if you have greater racial diversity you're not going to unionize yeah right it was a mistake
01:09:42.260 So in a way, I suppose the billionaires do want you to dislike immigrants.
01:09:47.580 They're kind of banking on it, so you don't unionise.
01:09:50.560 Yeah, there's no solidarity between disparate groups.
01:09:53.240 Here's one back from 2016, March, in the run-up to MAGA Wave 1.
01:09:59.080 This is kind of a really interesting time capsule here.
01:10:02.620 Oh, Rupert Murdoch, how curious.
01:10:04.500 Yeah, crossing bipartisan lines.
01:10:06.900 So it's both sides.
01:10:08.200 Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg.
01:10:09.820 Yeah, they all voiced their support for pro-immigration action, even called out Trumps.
01:10:14.340 Beside Murdoch and Soros, other billionaires have been longtime backers of immigration, too.
01:10:18.840 In November 2014, Sheldon Adelson, interesting how a lot of these people have jumped ship after a particular October.
01:10:28.120 Larry Ellison.
01:10:28.900 Yeah, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, joined together for an immigration reform penning a New York Times op-ed that asked Congress to structure a constructive policy.
01:10:38.320 hedge fund billionaire paul singer oracle founder paul singer was the guy who benefited the most
01:10:43.840 from the majoro scrab earlier on this year this is the gang of eight thing yeah reportedly lobbied
01:10:49.480 for marco rubio's gang of eight immigration bill which sought to establish a path to citizenship
01:10:55.340 and amnesty for illegals and as well as that expand the quota of h1b visas interesting again
01:11:02.900 how they all have the exact same immigration policy as gary stevenson the socialist worker
01:11:11.380 zoe gardner and all of your favorite leftist talking heads you literally agree with some of
01:11:19.060 the worst people in the world should should be noted by the way and charlotte gill's been doing
01:11:23.140 this um someone like zoe gardner has been to activist like organization seminars that have 0.52
01:11:28.900 have been funded by Soros,
01:11:30.800 and who's the other one?
01:11:32.080 Mike Bloomberg.
01:11:32.920 Yeah, no doubt.
01:11:33.460 Billionaires are asterisks
01:11:34.480 for these left-wing actors.
01:11:35.320 Well, and the most recent one,
01:11:37.260 Forbes, 1.00
01:11:37.760 Why America Doesn't Work Without Immigrants. 1.00
01:11:40.200 Yeah, Gary Stevenson's Forbes. 1.00
01:11:42.860 Yeah, it's June...
01:11:43.740 Managed it before 1965.
01:11:45.400 Yeah, 13th of June this year, 1.00
01:11:47.380 more than a dozen immigrant billionaires
01:11:49.640 and entrepreneurs discuss visa policies,
01:11:52.780 green card backlogs,
01:11:53.700 and why the US remains a beacon of opportunity.
01:11:56.600 Quote,
01:11:56.840 one person won't screw up the american dream because that's the that's the thing isn't it
01:12:00.440 they say one person they actually just mean the entire subcontinent the american dream was always
01:12:05.400 to bring in boatloads of demolitions to inflate asset prices so actual heritage americans could
01:12:10.840 not have families correct there you go great gatsby was all about so yeah it turns out um
01:12:16.280 when you actually look at what they love uh more than most things billionaires and the government
01:12:22.440 that they collaborate with love immigration just like gary stevenson and all of the leftists that
01:12:30.100 you see online as well in this right you see where it says taxes that's the native population
01:12:36.120 yes that's what that is they didn't realize when they were making this graphic but that's
01:12:40.840 definitely what's going on yes it's billionaires on a pile of cash with a phalanx of immigrants 0.97
01:12:45.460 taking the money of the normal person to price them out of their own civilization that's correct 1.00
01:12:51.320 It's Gary.
01:12:53.400 That's just amazing.
01:12:55.240 Anyway, let's go to the video comments.
01:12:57.380 We also, Sigil, I've used the Indian security certificate exploit
01:13:01.640 to hack into the Lotus Eaters. 1.00
01:13:03.780 Demand a set of Islanders. 0.99
01:13:05.600 Let me see.
01:13:06.820 And Dan's drinking horn, or I'll release the photos of Harry 0.80
01:13:09.900 in an anime maid outfit.
01:13:11.820 Harry, why did you let them have those photos of you?
01:13:15.220 I think it's quite clear to everyone that anyone named Harry is evil. 0.92
01:13:19.360 facts yet true me and harry can confirm and also yes lots of chinese owned here i assume that's in
01:13:25.220 australia thing is they're not even occupied most of the time yeah a few very nice houses around my
01:13:30.820 area with overgrown lawns and no activity well that's because uh they're either second houses
01:13:36.800 or literally just being bought out by people to generate loans and get the appreciation it's a
01:13:43.880 form of um fifth generation or chinese economic warfare or that yeah i mean that's but i mean
01:13:49.420 this guy this guy wants as many chinese as possible to be able to buy whatever they want
01:13:54.880 in your local economy which is quite weird as well uh he was born in china to russian jewish
01:13:58.920 parents yes russian jewish parents yeah interesting anyway right uh yeah let's go to the video
01:14:03.360 comments no video commander shepherd said all bioware had to do was listen to its audience
01:14:08.040 that was literally that simple it's my favorite comment on the instead they listened to its
01:14:13.000 staff and parasites like you need to suck ease in the entire gaming industry will collapse unless
01:14:17.020 it is well to be honest with you i'm for it right at this point i'm for all of these big sort of 0.96
01:14:22.180 legacy companies that have been hollowed out and filled up with sjw parasites i'm for all of it 0.99
01:14:27.600 collapsing right because it's not like straight white men won't produce innovative creative games 0.98
01:14:33.360 see what they're doing with halo right now well like and it's never been easier i mean you know
01:14:37.800 you can complain about ai vibe coding all you want but it is going to produce a lot of interesting
01:14:42.580 stuff. So at the end of the day
01:14:44.640 the ease of access has never been
01:14:46.600 easier. And I'm also encouraged because
01:14:48.540 as I mentioned in the segment, if a fan
01:14:50.820 can make a better modded ending
01:14:52.480 to Mass Effect 3 before
01:14:54.580 AI when they had barely any assets
01:14:56.260 then we can just generate our own games.
01:14:58.740 Yeah. Do we have video comments today
01:15:00.600 Harry?
01:15:03.220 We don't apparently.
01:15:04.860 Omar says, the media literate
01:15:06.760 have always had trouble separating the
01:15:08.560 theme from projecting their personal therapy session
01:15:10.640 onto players. It leads
01:15:12.520 to the evil demon character that tortures babies to death for fun would never ever say a slur yeah
01:15:18.020 i hate that i hate that um that is my least favorite i'm the joker i'm not a nazi i'm just
01:15:23.460 a murderer exact same worst example there's also the peaky blinders i may be a brummy murderer but 0.73
01:15:30.420 at least i'm not a nazi like every single one of them i mean the one ironically sons of anarchy
01:15:39.680 does does does the opposite um where i mean it kind of does like a you're allowed because it's
01:15:46.560 fx in the mid 2000s in the mid 2010s you're allowed to show as much gore and brutal violence
01:15:51.380 as possible but if you say the f word once we're going to take you off show so they can't do that
01:15:56.800 but by the end of it spoilers for anybody who even cares about sons of anarchy by the way
01:16:01.080 the main characters who are a biker gang end up teaming up with a white supremacist gang
01:16:08.220 and all surprise attacking and brutally murdering the entirely black gang and it's depicted all in 0.81
01:16:14.720 like slow-mo like you're supposed to be relishing it going yeah get them guys
01:16:20.960 interesting so so like sons of alec is the one show that i can think of where it treats biker
01:16:26.900 gangs like real life where yeah they are racially segregated and then also is like cheer this on by
01:16:33.220 the way california refugee says fun fact everyone iconic at bungie that made the original halo
01:16:40.440 games great was fired or quit bungie by the time destiny 1 released in 2014 it died 12 years ago
01:16:46.380 original destiny was great fun after the taken king and then destiny 2 was hollow and it was
01:16:54.060 it was all about just like live service stuff selling you microtransactions and it withered
01:16:59.080 and died a long time ago.
01:17:00.320 For the fall of Bioware-ass Myrmidon,
01:17:02.600 I ask, have the people who pushed the woke nonsense
01:17:05.280 been sacked, or have they been moved elsewhere in EA?
01:17:08.100 They've been sacked.
01:17:08.960 Judging by the phenomenal levels of salt on Twitter
01:17:12.040 from the developers, they've been sacked. 1.00
01:17:14.900 So good on the new Saudi owners, frankly, 1.00
01:17:17.620 for being like, yeah, we don't want that. 1.00
01:17:20.400 Apparently this is a thing with The Sims as well.
01:17:23.000 They cancelled another Sims project.
01:17:24.340 Yeah, my wife plays The Sims. 1.00
01:17:26.560 Yeah, so millions of women play The Sims. 1.00
01:17:29.080 My wife is one of them. 1.00
01:17:30.180 And there's been a big hoo-ha
01:17:33.360 because The Sims is, of course, very woke,
01:17:35.480 very progressive, has all the woke stuff in it.
01:17:38.340 And lots of women online were very upset 0.99
01:17:40.620 because, oh, it's been bought by the Saudis. 0.94
01:17:42.560 What does that mean for the progressive nature of The Sims? 0.97
01:17:44.820 It's like, yeah, burqas for everyone. 0.99
01:17:48.680 Henry says, what, the Saudis didn't want to keep funding
01:17:50.980 a failing studio pushing woke messaging?
01:17:52.840 Imagine my shock.
01:17:54.220 Yeah.
01:17:54.960 I can't wait for you forcing your Sims
01:17:56.940 to attend the public execution of people
01:17:58.640 that was steven bread yeah i mean i'm for it that sounds good uh george says people are wrong when
01:18:03.000 they say game get failed we tried to warn the industry not to adopt feminism and spit on its
01:18:07.020 male audience but they refused and radicalized a fair portion of core gamers uh now we're seeing
01:18:11.300 the results with multi-million dollar failures and studio closures we won but it's after watching
01:18:15.200 the enemy nuke themselves yeah well i mean it was always going to be a war of attrition um but uh
01:18:19.920 but like i said all it is just on a long enough timeline you can see all of the opponents just
01:18:24.000 get nuked as things go.
01:18:26.660 It's like that video you made on your Akkad Daily channel
01:18:28.260 where it's like checking in on the lives of the
01:18:30.340 scions of the progressive movement and
01:18:31.880 oh, they're in unfulfilling
01:18:34.160 polycule marriages and writing about how 0.94
01:18:36.320 they can hear their husband having sex with a woman
01:18:38.080 through the next room.
01:18:40.000 Or getting married to themselves.
01:18:42.380 Meanwhile, we're just going along as normal.
01:18:44.160 Let's not forget wedding-themed birthday parties.
01:18:46.440 Oh, that was the saddest thing in the world.
01:18:48.140 Did you not see? For her
01:18:50.060 40th birthday, Anita Sarkeesian
01:18:51.980 marriage
01:18:53.040 to herself
01:18:54.600 and it was like
01:18:56.860 honestly I felt kind of sad
01:18:59.340 I was just like
01:19:00.480 at least we now know where all the Patreon money went
01:19:02.680 sure but like movie Bob would have wifed you up
01:19:05.020 was movie Bob the word
01:19:06.880 we're on the website now right
01:19:08.460 one that became a tranny or was that the other one 0.75
01:19:11.040 no no that's Jim Sterling 0.75
01:19:12.200 he was the one that Lindsay Ellis
01:19:15.460 firmly but politely told to stop 0.89
01:19:17.620 tweeting at her
01:19:18.700 please stop tweeting pictures of us
01:19:21.460 together
01:19:22.000 he was no he was the guy and she to be fair to be fair to lindsey she was being weird 1.00
01:19:27.560 also like she's one of the ones who's landed better than most she's like married with kids now
01:19:33.840 she is she's become she's become going off on cruises yeah going off on cruises she has
01:19:38.620 without her family she's become a boomer she always despised yeah no exactly she's become
01:19:41.920 she's become a boomer disney adult if you watched that cruise video uh which i haven't seen him 0.99
01:19:47.200 She goes on a Disney cruise without her kids, doesn't she? 1.00
01:19:50.000 She goes on five cruises in a row without her children.
01:19:55.320 And at one point she's thinking to herself,
01:19:57.620 is it weird that I'm on a Disney cruise without my children,
01:20:01.680 enjoying it like a child would?
01:20:04.420 No, it's not weird.
01:20:06.320 Of them all, because she's trying to find the least evil,
01:20:09.800 she tells everybody the Disney one was the best one,
01:20:12.940 even though they clearly recognized her as she was going in
01:20:16.400 immediately upgraded her to the equivalent of first class and she's like i don't know if they
01:20:21.900 recognized me but i just want you to know that i can be bribed oh there's definitely not a bribe
01:20:27.460 guys i'm totally going to be legit about reviewing this and then she says it's the best one that is
01:20:31.500 so transparent she got she just got bribed by disney to give them a good review it's the core
01:20:36.420 and harem syndrome of the internal internal soviet party yeah but just the all the bread
01:20:41.920 tubers for their talk of like you know equality social justice socialism blah blah blah and the
01:20:46.400 second it's okay well i'd like the fruits of capitalism please here's all the largesse and
01:20:50.960 yeah no i'm going with five consecutive cruisers all they want is just for the working class they
01:20:55.300 just want their their favorite big like toy company to treat them nicely that's all they want
01:21:00.700 uh hm button knife permit registry says the four cardinal rules of gun safety one treat every gun
01:21:06.300 as if it's loaded two never point the barrel at something you're not willing to destroy three
01:21:09.760 Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot
01:21:11.400 And four, be sure of your target and what's beyond it
01:21:13.940 Zero out of four rules followed
01:21:15.720 Total Met Police moment
01:21:17.360 Yeah, it's not great, is it? 1.00
01:21:20.980 California Refugee says
01:21:21.960 This is the government that wants you to go fight Russia and die in a ditch 1.00
01:21:24.500 I know
01:21:25.340 The idea that you could shame us into fighting
01:21:28.440 For this government is amazing
01:21:30.440 I've had a few backs and forths on Twitter
01:21:32.300 With people like, oh, you're not mad enough
01:21:33.740 It's like, yeah, you're right, I'm not going to do it
01:21:35.220 You're not going to get me killed
01:21:37.220 This was the same, by the way, the guy that said you weren't man enough, a few days before had replied to Zia Yusuf saying, no, we won't enact the shoot-to-kill order for the small boats.
01:21:46.960 Yeah. 0.61
01:21:47.140 So he's literally the guys from the Camp of the Saints.
01:21:48.820 Yes.
01:21:49.280 Yes.
01:21:49.920 Yes. 0.99
01:21:51.000 Jimbo says, it's going to be interesting one of these diversity hires shoots a non-white criminal. 0.96
01:21:54.980 Maybe they're going to have two marches. 0.98
01:21:57.020 The thing that bothers me the most is that they're going to be the victim of the person I accidentally kill.
01:22:02.000 And that annoys me in advance.
01:22:03.860 It's like, no, you killed someone because you're an irresponsible person.
01:22:05.860 Lars says
01:22:07.240 Last year the Norwegian police became armed full time
01:22:09.680 For the first time since 1945
01:22:12.760 Due to security concerns
01:22:14.900 The only shooting so far was a quarrelsome drunk
01:22:16.880 In a small town pub
01:22:18.020 Diogeny says 1.00
01:22:19.580 Every time I hear about someone bragging about putting women in front line positions 0.92
01:22:22.220 While crime is on the rise and women have become increasingly targeted
01:22:24.600 And victimised by foreigners
01:22:25.880 I'm reminded of that one internet post of the dad
01:22:28.180 Who kept buying his daughter a new cat
01:22:29.440 Because wild coyotes
01:22:31.660 Coyotes
01:22:32.220 Coyotes, how it's pronounced 0.94
01:22:33.500 Kept eating her pet cats
01:22:34.740 and the pet shop worker tells him it sounds like
01:22:36.620 you're just feeding the cats and the coyotes.
01:22:38.860 Yes, and that's, like,
01:22:41.440 I mean, I just can't get over
01:22:42.680 that it's some, like, 3.4% of rapes
01:22:44.780 that are actually prosecuted, you know,
01:22:46.620 they arrest someone over. That is
01:22:48.300 that is insane. Because doing something
01:22:50.660 would be racist. I suppose so.
01:22:52.760 I mean, but also, like,
01:22:54.740 doing something would be difficult, right?
01:22:57.280 And I think that's another point.
01:22:59.040 Really? I'd rather police
01:23:00.760 tweets. The amount of CCTV that you have now,
01:23:02.860 you could actually just snatch these people off the street.
01:23:04.740 you could you should just put people in a box it's not for them yeah yeah i know it's not for 0.99
01:23:09.720 them that's why when curtis yarfin was like oh if you're part of the retard right if you don't 0.98
01:23:14.040 love flock cameras it's like those cameras will not be used to find criminals 1.00
01:23:17.940 this woman is the left's living answer to is islam right about women and she's desperately 0.62
01:23:24.520 trying to resolve the contradiction she represents yeah i mean she she knew from an islamic perspective 0.76
01:23:29.920 that she shouldn't be there but they keep giving her money and status so of course she follows the 0.53
01:23:36.060 feminist track so if you're wondering which is going to win islam or feminism the answer is 0.54
01:23:42.060 feminism colin says i want to be policed by middle-aged unmarried police man who is a
01:23:47.660 medieval archer reenactor plays rpgs and like science fiction uh what i think out a dating
01:23:52.320 profile but why why isn't he married i want to be married with a bunch of kids but also plays map
01:23:59.140 games star was fiery but mostly peaceful back door says it's mad that australia's house prices
01:24:05.460 are so high it's not like britain where we're crammed but don't want to pave over the countryside
01:24:09.220 it's sand yeah australia for anyone doesn't know is a continent the size of um the united states
01:24:15.660 actually about the same size of the continental united states central but it's just unlivable
01:24:19.680 i was gonna say yeah but most of it if you stand there for too long you will die
01:24:23.380 sure but you can you can develop you know it's not like decided not to irrigate about a hundred
01:24:28.040 years ago there were plans for the irrigation of central australia basically just dig an enormous
01:24:33.360 river and that would lead to a gigantic lake that would mean that it would be you know it would take
01:24:39.020 the desert and turn it into like jungle and etc and they just didn't do it because they decided 1.00
01:24:43.600 let's babysit third worlders instead like the rest of the world might upset the river spirits
01:24:47.620 i don't care i don't care about the river spirits rex says sorry hector rex says carl i remember 0.97
01:24:54.120 you making this point divorced a decade ago and him not being able to understand it about the
01:24:57.160 billionaires loving immigrants. You should have used a horse analogy instead. 0.90
01:24:59.280 I suppose I should. But it's
01:25:01.100 so crystal clear, though.
01:25:03.720 Why would
01:25:05.160 they not want cheap workers? 0.89
01:25:07.260 Why wouldn't they want it?
01:25:09.000 Arizona Desert Routes says, I don't hate immigrants. I hate 1.00
01:25:11.040 people illegally entering my country, 1.00
01:25:13.040 breaking laws, and taking advantage of the system. 1.00
01:25:15.100 No, I don't want them coming in legally either.
01:25:16.400 Yeah, I mean, in America, different thing, right? 0.51
01:25:18.680 Well, no, no. All the Indians are coming in legally. 1.00
01:25:20.640 Sure. But in America, if you 1.00
01:25:22.440 feel like you've got basically infinite space,
01:25:24.460 I can understand why you'd feel that way. I don't think anyone feels
01:25:26.440 that way in california probably not now no brian says i haven't even started watching this yet but
01:25:31.100 i already know gary is going to say some of the most economically illiterate nonsense ever
01:25:34.500 with complete certainty there are plenty of competent left-wing economists brilliant ones
01:25:38.580 even why the hell is gary so popular the thing is gary i looked back through his youtube channel
01:25:43.240 he's even interviewed one whose works that i've read which is hun jo chang yeah he's actually
01:25:47.960 quite good uh but problem is because he's kind of leftist populist he suffers from right the same
01:25:53.680 problems that gary's does which is if you follow the logic of all of his arguments to their final
01:25:58.580 conclusion it's that you should have a closed nationalistic economic policy but also i'm still
01:26:06.360 a leftist so i still have to be a globalist in a way yeah it's it's weird that that's a hill they've
01:26:12.740 got to die on isn't it because as the polling has been done over and over and over people want quite
01:26:18.400 It's social conservatism, but a bit of sort of national, like, leftist economics, right?
01:26:24.040 So if you could just marry these two together, which I suppose would look something like a National Socialist Party.
01:26:30.480 Certainly.
01:26:33.000 You've just been clipped.
01:26:34.940 You've recreated narcissism from first principles.
01:26:37.080 No, no, I haven't created it.
01:26:39.600 The British public have created it, right?
01:26:42.280 That's what they're like.
01:26:43.140 I'd like this and this, please.
01:26:44.360 The problem with this is that...
01:26:45.580 Oh, I keep seeing people clip things that you've said on your personal channel
01:26:49.320 and just go like, oh, wow, Carl, you've changed a lot.
01:26:52.460 Get on it, no chance.
01:26:53.840 There's another one for you, buddy.
01:26:55.720 The problem is, though, is economic populism is not the essential pillar of left-wing thought.
01:27:01.200 It's the blank slate.
01:27:02.200 Yes.
01:27:02.620 So unless you get rid of the anthropology, you can't have that.
01:27:05.640 Correct.
01:27:06.460 And you're absolutely right.
01:27:07.660 Unless you can find it in yourself to be particular to this place,
01:27:11.980 then yeah, you just think everyone is an undifferentiated human widget
01:27:14.640 and therefore in order to enact equality you just have to give them more stuff yeah but but it's
01:27:18.220 just ironic um that the general public wants a bit of economic protectionism and social
01:27:24.720 conservatism and it's mildly ironic that that's the one place on the political compass that
01:27:30.360 nobody's allowed to go i mean it's just we we had an interesting development in britain where we
01:27:35.480 when we still had the empire where we had imperial preference which was you know a distinct economic
01:27:41.240 block and then you had other european um empires that had their own economic blocks and there could
01:27:46.740 be trade between them but it mainly was done but no we had to throw all of that on the fire and
01:27:51.640 decolonize for the sake of global free markets well it's also very telling that we do have so
01:27:56.300 what you're describing is kind of public private partnership but all of the oligarchs that are
01:28:00.460 involved in the public private partnership as those articles are saying are immigrants they
01:28:03.780 see themselves as immigrants and so they go okay well both out of a profit incentive and because
01:28:07.880 i have you know libertarded ideological views we need to continue to hold the door open for the
01:28:12.080 for the next billionaire just like me to stumble from the foothills of afghanistan into america
01:28:16.480 and the thing as well uh that's a random name makes a great point right if if foreigners if 0.88
01:28:22.280 immigrants were just such an obvious net positive why would they need to propagandize us constantly 0.79
01:28:27.380 right do their countries suck yeah well yeah i mean obviously what you know many other questions 0.86
01:28:31.080 but it's just that the most basic thing like you don't need to propagandize people to believe
01:28:34.520 things that are obviously true, right? You just don't
01:28:36.500 need to do that. And the fact that they are
01:28:38.680 doing that, the very nature of the propaganda
01:28:40.340 they create, belies the fact that they're
01:28:42.500 obviously lying to you.
01:28:44.380 So, anyway.
01:28:46.540 Sorry, there were a couple more.
01:28:48.260 Has a single billionaire other than Trump or Elon
01:28:50.420 ever uttered a single anti-immigration
01:28:52.600 statement? I can't think of one,
01:28:54.740 says Furious Dan.
01:28:56.080 Is Jim Ratcliffe a billionaire?
01:28:58.240 He might be.
01:29:00.080 Is Duncan Bannertine a billionaire?
01:29:02.020 I don't think he's a billionaire. I think he's a multi-millionaire.
01:29:03.560 Well, he put support up for restore,
01:29:05.860 so you would assume that that would mean support,
01:29:08.860 but either way, yeah.
01:29:09.620 Is it multi-millionaire?
01:29:10.660 Yeah.
01:29:11.400 You get multi-millionaires, but to be fair, multi-millionaires...
01:29:15.120 Oh, Jim Radcliffe is worth $17 billion.
01:29:17.480 There we go.
01:29:17.800 Oh, there you go.
01:29:18.260 Okay, fair enough.
01:29:19.360 There are always...
01:29:19.800 I said we're being colonised.
01:29:20.940 There are all...
01:29:22.060 If only you could put your money somewhere useful, Jim.
01:29:24.480 Well, this is the thing with Elon.
01:29:25.860 Look, I like Elon, but he's not really funding anything
01:29:30.800 outside of offering money directly to restore Britain,
01:29:32.880 Which would then
01:29:33.480 Compromise the party
01:29:34.260 Yeah 0.99
01:29:34.620 But like Jim Ratcliffe's British
01:29:36.180 Isn't he
01:29:36.600 So he could
01:29:37.200 He could fund the party
01:29:38.400 But like there's
01:29:39.440 There are billionaires
01:29:40.400 And they're all like
01:29:40.880 Oh that's so terrible
01:29:41.840 If only something could be done
01:29:43.240 And George Soros
01:29:44.060 Is just churning out money
01:29:45.380 Ben Dilo and Christopher Harbour
01:29:46.380 Have both donated
01:29:47.160 Like 36 million
01:29:48.960 To Reform each
01:29:50.580 And what are Reform doing?
01:29:51.740 Setting up a simulacra
01:29:52.860 Lotus uses
01:29:53.400 Oh yeah
01:29:54.300 But they've already got
01:29:55.100 GB News
01:29:55.880 What are they doing?
01:29:56.600 Yeah Reform TV
01:29:57.260 I thought the GB News
01:29:58.320 Already exists
01:29:59.060 Yeah but
01:29:59.560 Yes
01:29:59.860 Alex Phillips needs another show
01:30:01.920 Or something
01:30:02.300 It's actually mad
01:30:04.020 We already have talk TV
01:30:05.540 We already have GB News
01:30:07.120 I don't know what the point is
01:30:08.800 I'll tell you what man
01:30:09.960 I suppose
01:30:11.220 Right what happens is
01:30:12.880 My cousin needs a job
01:30:15.340 My friend's son needs a job 1.00
01:30:18.700 Zia Yusuf is running it 0.78
01:30:20.100 These things are always just patronage networks
01:30:24.120 For oh my son literally can't do anything
01:30:27.220 So let's give him a job
01:30:28.580 You know what
01:30:30.140 That did actually happen
01:30:32.040 of course i know i've got a name in mind oh god well on that note we're gonna have to end so
01:30:37.600 thank you for joining us folks be back in half an hour for lads hour where dan is going to make
01:30:41.440 us do terrible things
