Dr. Gad Saad has long warned about radical Islam in the West. He is a visiting professor at Northwood University, and joins us to talk more about this. Dr. Saad is the author of the book, "Parasitic Minds: How Islamic Ideology Threatens Western Civilization," which is available for pre-order now.
00:00:00.780Welcome back. As the full extent of the carnage of New Orleans is realized, we have to ask ourselves a question.
00:00:06.500How much longer is the West going to continue to self-destruct at the hands of global desires?
00:00:12.620The powerful are injecting forced assimilation with a very, very toxic ideology into the West, into our countries.
00:00:19.080And we see the results of that. There's a lot of people in this country that absolutely despise the West and want to kill as many people as possible.
00:00:25.600And they all kind of share the same religious ideology.
00:00:29.040And there's little regard for the victims in the decisions that are made about how we run these countries.
00:00:33.760In fact, for the most part, the victims are ignored as these decisions are made.
00:00:37.780Dr. Gad Saad has long warned about radical Islam in the West.
00:00:40.980He is a visiting professor at Northwood University, and he joins us to talk more about this.
00:00:45.180And, sir, it's good to have you back on.
00:00:47.000I just want to start and get your top line thoughts after what we saw on New Year's Eve.
00:01:13.000But in a sense, I'm frustrated because, as you said, some of us have been warning the West for decades.
00:01:19.080And people hopefully are starting to wake up, but perhaps not fully yet.
00:01:24.080Yeah, it's what do you I mean, let's just get at it for a second, because I think that everybody is terrified to have an honest conversation about Islam.
00:01:33.320Nobody wants to talk about, you know, some of the language in this book, what it calls for.
00:01:38.580And, you know, there's so many people that practice this religion, the bulk of which we know are peaceful.
00:01:42.840But there's a lot of people that aren't.
00:01:44.480And I feel like we're just going to be fighting this and dealing with these tragedies forever.
00:01:51.720And for your viewers and listeners who don't know my personal history, we're Lebanese Jews that had to leave the Middle East because it became impossible to be Jewish.
00:02:00.620There's 1,400 years of history that supports the fact that Islam, once it moves into a place, doesn't necessarily promote the flourishing of individual liberties and freedoms.
00:02:11.900Now, that doesn't mean that there aren't hundreds of millions of perfectly nice and peaceful and kind Muslims.
00:02:18.220But that would be like arguing, you know, I shouldn't be afraid when I walk down a dark alley if I see four young men loitering around, because most young men are perfectly reasonable and kind and peaceful.
00:02:31.660Life is about navigating through statistical regularities, and there certainly is a statistical regularity when it comes to Islam.
00:02:40.520We should be able to speak about it openly without holding an iota of hatred towards individual Muslims.
00:02:47.200What's the what's the what's the cure?
00:02:49.960I mean, we can show you video just hours after this attack here in New York.
00:02:52.880We had, you know, mostly white leftists, I would say, calling for intifada in New York and a lot of people waving these familiar flags walking down our streets just hours after 14 people were murdered.
00:03:04.600We see this as a response. How do we how do we how do we get ourselves out of what we've created and what we've managed to bring into the West?
00:03:15.640What do you do about Islam in the West?
00:03:17.400Look, in my previous book, Parasitic Mind, I talked about what happens to our cognitive system when it is parasitized by idea pathogens.
00:03:27.440In my forthcoming book, Suicidal Empathy, I talk about what happens to our emotional system when it is parasitized by orgiastic empathy.
00:03:36.040Put those two together, the zombification of our thinking abilities and our emotional abilities, and we become completely impotent to look at the reality, which is Islam is not an ideology that promotes congruency with our fundamental freedoms.
00:03:55.520That I mean, nothing could be clearer than that. Right.
