00:00:00.000 Guys, so I'm currently at the Old Miss, so I'm no longer in Canada, I'm a political refugee from Canada.
00:00:10.160 So first I wanted to say that it's great to be at the University of Chicago because I'm reading right now a book by a biography on Thomas Sowell.
00:00:20.720 Of course Thomas Sowell was at the University of Chicago, so it's wonderful, it's serendipitous that both these things would be happening.
00:00:27.120 So I want to give you a bit of a background to how I got into studying rationality, and then parasitic mind, and then suicidal empathy.
00:00:36.360 My doctoral training is actually in studying axiomatic rationality, a la Kahneman and Tenerife, for those of you who, and as a matter of fact, one of my former professors at Cornell, who then won the Nobel Prize in 2017, was Dick Taylor, with whom I studied all of this stuff.
00:00:55.920 So axiomatic rationality would be, if I prefer card A to card B, and I prefer card B to card C, it has to be that I prefer card A to card C.
00:01:04.120 If I don't do that, I'm being intransitive, therefore I'm being irrational.
00:01:07.780 Or, if I tell you that a hamburger is 90% fat-free or 10% fat, they are isomorphic statements, and yet people will judge them as being different.
00:01:18.640 And the third example, if I ask you to evaluate options A and B separately or together, it should still yield the same preference.
00:01:29.100 So if I prefer A in one version, I should prefer A in the other, and yet people have reversal of choices.
00:01:35.820 And so my original training was in studying rationality within this very restrained sense of rationality, axiomatic rationality.
00:01:44.240 But then how do you explain the irrationality of saying that women too, and men too can menstruate, men can bear children, mathematics is white supremacy?
00:01:56.800 That can't fit axiomatic rationality.
00:01:59.660 There must be something else that leads otherwise reasonable people to have such insane beliefs.
00:02:05.840 And so this led, I want to give you sort of a background first, like a 30,000 page view, this led to two books.
00:02:13.440 This is not the actual book cover of Suicidal Empathy, but I like it because hashtag sheep for wolves, hashtag queers for Palestine, hashtag geese for foie gras, right?
00:02:25.640 And so the reason why these two books go well together is because this book, the yellow one, speaks to what happens to our cognitive system when it is parasitized, whereas the follow-up looks at what happens to our emotional system when it is parasitized.
00:02:44.240 For me to be able to completely hijack your ability to reason, I need to both parasitize your cognitive and emotional system, and then I've got you.
00:02:53.560 Now, what's the background?
00:02:56.260 How did I sort of develop the framework for applying neural parasitology to these ideas, these bad ideas?
00:03:04.720 So on the top, you have the spider wasp.
00:03:07.720 The spider wasp is much smaller than the spider that it parasitizes.
00:03:11.240 It stings it, rendering it hapless, takes it to its burrow, in vivo, lays its eggs on it,
00:03:21.080 and then, as the offsprings hatch, they eat it in vivo.
00:03:25.500 Well, political correctness is akin to the spider wasp saying, right?
00:03:29.300 We all walk to the abyss of infinite lunacy, nodding our heads, yes, yes, men too can menstruate, right?
00:03:36.040 Of course, many of you have heard of Toxoplasma Gandhi, which can parasitize human minds,
00:03:40.940 but the classic example would be the baus, which should have an evolved fear of cats.
00:03:46.940 When it is parasitized by Toxoplasma Gandhi, it becomes sexually attracted to the cat's
00:03:51.320 urine, which is not a good making preference to have.
00:03:55.400 I'll skip this one.
00:03:56.600 It's another, it's a neuroparasite that affects ungulates, but this one is a really good one
00:04:01.540 because a lot of my terms end up going viral.
00:04:04.100 And so now, if you want to hear me say, oh, look at this wood cricket, you'll now know
00:04:09.660 where it's coming from.
00:04:11.640 The wood cricket abhors water.
00:04:14.060 It wants nothing to do with water.
00:04:16.020 But when it is parasitized by a hairworm, the hairworm needs the wood cricket to jump into
00:04:21.540 the water in order for it to complete its super productive cycle.
00:04:25.300 And therefore, once it is parasitized, it loses its fear of water and is perfectly happy
00:04:31.100 to commit suicide, hence you'll see how we then come to suicidal empathy in a few minutes.
00:04:39.120 Now, already the book is not out yet.
00:04:42.720 Suicidal empathy is not out yet, but there's already been a million hit pieces on me.
00:04:48.020 I am the Jewish puppeteer behind Elon Musk who's trying to usher a dark world where empathy
00:04:55.920 is eradicated.
00:04:57.620 And that's the kind of stuff you're up against when you do the kinds of things.
00:05:01.100 Well, of course, that's not true.
00:05:03.560 Empathy is an evolved virtue.
00:05:07.160 We are a human species, a social species.
00:05:11.580 It makes perfect sense for us to have cognitive empathy, theory of mind, emotional empathy.
00:05:17.060 But like Aristotle explained to us several thousand years ago, all good things in moderation
00:05:24.320 to the right people in the right amount, to the right context, and so on.
00:05:30.440 So, in my previous book, happiness book, I have a whole chapter on being put with you.
00:05:35.900 It turns out that it's probably the most universal law that you could think of.
00:05:39.580 It applies at the neuronal level, individual level, ecological level, economic level.
00:05:45.200 Too little of something is not good.
00:05:46.980 Too much of something is not good.
00:05:48.760 Life is about finding the sweet spot.
00:05:51.620 Yes?
00:05:52.040 Let's apply it to empathy.
00:05:53.140 You don't have any empathy.
00:05:55.540 You're a psychopath.
00:05:56.680 You have too much empathy.
00:05:58.400 You have my next book called suicidal empathy.
00:06:01.340 Okay.
00:06:03.960 Let me give you a bit of the framework I use to explain how suicidal empathy will come about.
00:06:10.980 I argue that it is a maladaptive misfiring of an otherwise adaptive process.
00:06:18.400 So, that's a mouthful.
00:06:19.360 So, let me give you a concrete example.
00:06:20.940 OCD is a debilitating condition, right?
00:06:26.600 But it is rooted in an adaptive process.
00:06:30.020 Earlier today, I had some stomach issues, and then Dorian didn't quite shake my hand.
00:06:34.700 I go, it's okay.
00:06:35.440 No, no, no, no.
00:06:37.580 And it's not a virus, but sometimes when I travel, I have stomach issues.
00:06:41.320 It makes perfect evolutionary sense for him to have that reticence.
00:06:45.060 If he had seen me sneezing into my hand, and then I go to shape it,
00:06:48.860 he might then go and wash his hand discreetly because he doesn't want to catch my cold.
00:06:54.120 So, washing your hands, scamming the environment for environmental threats,
00:06:57.520 makes perfect evolutionary sense.
00:07:00.060 Sitting for eight hours, washing your hands so that you can't make it to work,
00:07:04.840 so that your skin is falling off and it's cold in hot water,
00:07:07.880 that becomes maladaptive.
00:07:10.280 Let's take another example.
00:07:12.320 Compulsive biting, in a psychiatric sense, is an actual psychiatric dysfunction.
00:07:17.140 It largely afflicts women.
00:07:19.020 But it doesn't afflict women in a way that they hoard anything.
00:07:22.920 They don't hoard lawnmowers.
00:07:24.480 They don't hoard, you know, whatever, cameras.
00:07:30.660 They hoard beautification products.
00:07:33.540 So, you take a process that would have been adaptive,
00:07:36.680 which is to go out and to beautify yourself in the making market,
00:07:40.800 and now you render it hyperactive, and it becomes a psychiatric dysfunction.
00:07:45.960 The same thing applies to empathy.
00:07:48.300 Empathy is great, as I said, in the right place, right amount,
00:07:51.960 for the right people, and so on.
00:07:55.860 I also argue that suicidal empathy is, again, I call it civilizational seppuku.
00:08:03.440 Seppuku is the ritualistic suicide that not only samurai,
00:08:09.920 but largely samurai would engage in to kill themselves to redeem their honor.
00:08:15.620 They've done something to lose their honor,
00:08:17.460 and now the only path of redemption for me is to engage in this ritualistic suicide.
00:08:23.360 Well, you can imagine how suicidal empathy is exactly that.
00:08:28.340 We are a terrible society that is sitting on stolen land,
00:08:33.300 that is transphobic, that is white supremacy,
00:08:35.960 that hates black people, that hates everyone.
00:08:39.040 The only way for us to redeem ourselves is to commit civilizational seppuku.
00:08:44.820 And once you understand that mechanism,
00:08:48.320 you suddenly see that nearly every domestic and foreign policy
00:08:52.320 that has led to disastrous consequences in the West
00:08:55.480 stems from this dysregulated empathy.
00:08:59.560 All right, let's talk about some wood crickets in human form.
00:09:05.940 Of course, queers for palestines are wood crickets.
00:09:11.140 If you have a queer identity, more power to you.
00:09:15.640 Rah, rah, good for you.
00:09:17.680 Now, if you present yourself to the world in your queer identity,
00:09:21.280 then should you be putting all of your support behind Tel Aviv,
00:09:26.980 which is officially one of the most queer-friendly places in the world,
00:09:30.620 short of New York, San Francisco, Montreal, my hometown,
00:09:34.820 you'd be hard-pressed to find a city that is more queer-friendly than Tel Aviv,
00:09:37.900 or should you put your support behind a society
00:09:43.020 that has found an incredibly effective convergence mechanism?
00:09:47.400 It's a 100% proof conversion therapy.
00:09:49.940 It's a gravity-based conversion therapy.
00:09:52.900 We throw you off buildings and let your head splatter on the floor,
00:09:56.180 and then you are freed of your queerness.
00:09:58.980 But that's what happens when you are a wood cricket.
00:10:01.780 And then here we've got a wood cricket
00:10:04.920 that is very early in my forthcoming book,
00:10:07.680 it's been mentioned.
00:10:10.280 Carsten Nordahl-Hawken,
00:10:12.220 who describes himself in his words as a feminist and anti-racist,
00:10:16.300 had been sodomized and raped by a Somali immigrant.
00:10:19.080 He served, the rapist served a very small sentence
00:10:24.760 because in Norway they're very kind,
00:10:26.600 they don't believe in this really mean thing called the penal system.
00:10:31.320 And so after he served a few years,
00:10:33.540 then he was going to be deported.
00:10:35.880 This caused a huge conundrum for the one who had,
00:10:39.200 he had sodomized,
00:10:39.960 because now he felt guilty
00:10:41.920 that his rapist would not be able
00:10:44.780 to maximally flourish in Mogadishu.
00:10:48.040 That's called suicidal empathy.
00:10:50.480 Because I'm here as an evolutionary psychologist
00:10:52.360 to tell you that our emotional system
00:10:54.800 did not evolve with the calibration
00:10:57.280 to experience huge empathy for our southernizers.
00:11:00.380 Here is Amanda Pijera.
00:11:07.060 It was so unbelievable
00:11:09.020 that I had to do extra searches
00:11:11.300 to make sure that it wasn't a satirical piece.
00:11:14.680 So Amanda Pijera
00:11:15.980 is a white woman
00:11:18.740 who wanted to break the stereotype
00:11:21.600 of people of color ever being violent.
00:11:25.860 and it forced people of color out of violence
00:11:27.740 because of white supremacy.
00:11:29.540 But it turns out
00:11:30.600 that when she went to Haiti
00:11:31.860 to be with her black brothers,
00:11:35.520 one of them took her to the top of a building
00:11:38.320 and raped her all night.
00:11:40.480 I begged him to stop,
00:11:41.860 afraid he would kill me.
00:11:43.040 I freed him with him
00:11:43.820 to honor my commitment to Haiti,
00:11:45.520 to him as a brother
00:11:46.380 in the mutual struggle,
00:11:47.880 to an end to blah, blah, blah.
00:11:49.420 I even told him
00:11:50.580 that I was a Malcolm X scholar
00:11:52.600 and that didn't stop the rape.
00:11:54.860 Can you imagine that?
00:11:55.860 I mean, that's a foolproof way
00:12:00.480 to make sure you're never raped.
00:12:01.660 Just tell people
00:12:02.320 you're a Malcolm X scholar.
00:12:03.760 The rape ends.
00:12:05.200 And then later she says,
00:12:06.780 but I hold no ill will towards him
00:12:09.440 because she was enriched by the rape.
00:12:13.900 She's learned
00:12:14.720 and now she's more committed
00:12:16.240 to the fact
00:12:17.340 that it's really white supremacy
00:12:19.020 that caused the Haitian man
00:12:21.160 to rape her for eight hours.
00:12:24.860 Good stuff.
00:12:25.860 Here's one from a Jewish wood cricket.
00:12:30.480 This is Tam Nitzan.
00:12:32.320 Very empathetic.
00:12:34.440 Tam Nitzan was doing her PhD
00:12:36.780 at Hebrew University
00:12:38.200 in Jerusalem
00:12:39.520 and she wanted to demonstrate
00:12:41.240 that the IDF engages
00:12:43.020 in systematic rape
00:12:44.200 for Palestinian women.
00:12:45.280 She then goes out for her,
00:12:47.200 I think it was her doctoral dissertation.
00:12:49.320 She goes out to identify such cases,
00:12:52.060 both in interviewing Palestinian women
00:12:54.280 and through internal data from IDF.
00:12:57.700 So it was a very rigorous study.
00:12:59.980 To her utter dismay,
00:13:01.280 she found out that there wasn't
00:13:02.500 a single documented case
00:13:05.200 of rape of IDF soldiers
00:13:06.980 on Palestinian women.
00:13:08.560 Now,
00:13:09.240 did she alter then her position?
00:13:11.440 Was her hypothesis falsified?
00:13:14.240 No.
00:13:15.920 Has anybody ever heard me mention this before?
00:13:17.960 Anywhere?
00:13:18.260 I'm just wondering
00:13:20.240 because it really defies human reason.
00:13:24.640 It still demonstrated
00:13:26.340 how evil the IDF soldiers were
00:13:29.060 because imagine
00:13:30.540 that they didn't think
00:13:32.040 that those folks
00:13:34.560 were not worthy enough
00:13:35.700 to be raped.
00:13:36.440 How much must you be demonizing,
00:13:39.580 dehumanizing
00:13:40.420 the Palestinian women
00:13:42.280 to not even be considered
00:13:43.960 worthy of you raping them?
00:13:45.800 So if I rape Palestinian women,
00:13:48.380 I'm a terrible Jew.
00:13:50.280 If I don't rape Palestinian women,
00:13:53.360 I'm a terrible Jew.
00:13:54.680 We can't have
00:13:55.400 barbarian falsification there,
00:13:57.480 can we?
00:13:58.160 Because all roads lead to
00:14:00.300 Jews being bad.
00:14:01.780 This is from a
00:14:02.620 wood-trick of Jew.
00:14:06.440 Let me give you a few examples
00:14:07.840 from Canada
00:14:08.580 where I hailed
00:14:10.860 until I was rescued
00:14:11.880 by Ole Miss.
00:14:13.520 This is in,
00:14:14.720 NSERC is the equivalent
00:14:15.840 of let's say NSF
00:14:16.980 in the United States.
00:14:18.280 Yes?
00:14:18.900 This is at
00:14:19.780 University of Waterloo
00:14:21.040 which is akin to
00:14:22.720 MIT or Caltech.
00:14:26.480 It's a highly tech school
00:14:27.840 top engineering,
00:14:28.940 top computer science.
00:14:30.220 So in there,
00:14:31.920 computer science school,
00:14:33.080 by the way,
00:14:33.620 my background
00:14:34.840 is in computer science,
00:14:36.440 and mathematics.
00:14:38.880 They have two positions
00:14:39.840 open for endowed chairs
00:14:41.760 by the Canadian government.
00:14:43.220 So this is the
00:14:43.820 most prestigious professorship.
00:14:46.120 Position one
00:14:46.840 in all areas
00:14:47.660 of artificial intelligence
00:14:48.680 because artificial intelligence
00:14:49.900 is now a really hot thing.
00:14:52.200 Yes?
00:14:53.060 This is not
00:14:53.800 God's satire.
00:14:55.740 This is a screenshot
00:14:56.660 of the actual
00:14:57.800 call
00:14:58.300 for applications.
00:15:00.200 The call is open
00:15:02.260 only to qualified individuals
00:15:03.820 who self-identify
00:15:05.180 as women,
00:15:05.920 transgender,
00:15:06.800 gender-filled,
00:15:07.500 non-binary,
00:15:08.220 or two-spirit.
00:15:09.540 Alan Turing,
00:15:11.280 who, yes,
00:15:12.080 he was gay,
00:15:13.000 but was none
00:15:13.560 of those things,
00:15:14.500 could not get this job.
00:15:16.340 Alan Turing.
00:15:17.560 This is 21st century
00:15:19.000 in Canada
00:15:20.100 at one of the leading
00:15:21.320 universities.
00:15:22.820 Let's go on.
00:15:23.500 My own university
00:15:26.500 in Canada,
00:15:29.320 its top
00:15:30.160 objective
00:15:31.760 in its five-year
00:15:32.780 mission statement
00:15:33.680 is to decolonize
00:15:36.120 and to indigenize
00:15:37.720 the entire
00:15:39.180 curriculum.
00:15:40.600 You study
00:15:41.220 distribution
00:15:41.960 of prime numbers,
00:15:43.700 decolonize that,
00:15:44.660 that's all.
00:15:46.080 I study
00:15:46.940 evolutionary psychology,
00:15:48.540 psychology of decision-making,
00:15:50.320 consumer psychology.
00:15:51.420 I have to decolonize
00:15:53.200 and indigenize that.
00:15:55.920 I don't do that.
00:15:57.760 That's why
00:15:58.160 I'm like,
00:15:58.460 what am I doing this right now?
00:16:00.380 Here's another one.
00:16:01.620 I don't know
00:16:02.020 if you can read it.
00:16:02.840 This is also
00:16:03.340 at Victoria.
00:16:04.540 Received a huge grant
00:16:06.000 to decolonize
00:16:08.000 light.
00:16:09.380 So the physics
00:16:10.440 optics
00:16:11.860 has to be
00:16:13.300 decolonized.
00:16:14.780 You could,
00:16:15.200 for example,
00:16:15.700 study it using
00:16:16.540 indigenous knowledge,
00:16:18.240 tribal dance.
00:16:19.480 That could be a way
00:16:20.380 to study life.
00:16:21.660 Don't be an
00:16:22.160 asshole
00:16:22.520 and a racist.
00:16:26.960 Posture debt
00:16:27.700 is very much
00:16:29.160 driven by suicidal
00:16:30.000 empathy.
00:16:30.620 It comes from
00:16:31.060 Chapter 6
00:16:31.760 of the Parasitic Mind.
00:16:33.740 This is the running
00:16:34.540 counter as of
00:16:35.300 a few days ago
00:16:36.000 when I updated
00:16:36.660 the slide.
00:16:37.680 48,442
00:16:39.980 Islamic terror
00:16:41.320 attacks
00:16:41.860 since 9-11
00:16:42.640 alone
00:16:43.140 in nearly 70
00:16:44.180 countries.
00:16:45.020 And that's
00:16:45.380 an underestimate.
00:16:46.340 There are other
00:16:46.820 databases
00:16:47.380 where that number
00:16:48.460 is closer
00:16:48.880 to 65
00:16:49.740 hours.
00:16:51.060 Yes?
00:16:52.180 But very,
00:16:53.080 very smart
00:16:53.580 professors,
00:16:54.340 not unlike the
00:16:54.980 ones that would
00:16:55.400 be at the
00:16:55.760 University of
00:16:56.240 Chicago,
00:16:57.200 have actually
00:16:57.800 explained to us
00:16:58.760 that it doesn't
00:16:59.760 stem from what
00:17:00.920 the terrorists
00:17:01.620 tell you it
00:17:02.920 stems from,
00:17:03.740 when they
00:17:04.280 exactly pull
00:17:05.540 the exact
00:17:06.740 Quranic edicts
00:17:08.040 that justify
00:17:08.920 why they're
00:17:09.480 doing it.
00:17:10.880 And by the way,
00:17:11.860 none of these
00:17:12.420 are satirical.
00:17:13.660 These are ones
00:17:14.340 where I can give
00:17:15.160 you the references
00:17:15.780 to me.
00:17:16.440 I'll just
00:17:16.840 mention a few
00:17:17.600 for you.
00:17:19.480 I bet you
00:17:20.520 didn't know
00:17:21.380 that the
00:17:22.480 Belgian Islamic
00:17:24.380 terrorist a few
00:17:25.480 years ago
00:17:26.120 when they
00:17:26.580 screamed Allahu
00:17:27.720 Akbar as they
00:17:28.460 killed many
00:17:28.920 people,
00:17:29.740 it was actually
00:17:30.560 due to lack
00:17:31.960 of adequate
00:17:32.660 exposure to
00:17:34.620 art.
00:17:35.820 So for example,
00:17:37.480 if you have
00:17:38.300 children that
00:17:39.280 are not exposed
00:17:40.100 to enough
00:17:40.660 Wadidniani,
00:17:42.400 Shaddal,
00:17:43.100 and maybe
00:17:43.460 throw in some
00:17:44.200 Provinci,
00:17:45.400 they're likely
00:17:46.960 to join ISIS.
00:17:48.540 So you've got
00:17:49.020 to take them
00:17:49.420 to the museum.
00:17:50.720 It turns out
00:17:51.440 that it's due
00:17:52.000 to climate change
00:17:53.060 as the science
00:17:54.860 guide Bill Nye
00:17:56.060 explained to us.
00:17:57.360 Right?
00:17:57.940 So it turns out
00:17:58.880 that the
00:17:59.200 Bataclan terror
00:18:00.620 attack in Paris
00:18:02.240 was due to
00:18:03.640 lack of solar
00:18:04.460 panels.
00:18:04.900 This is not
00:18:05.400 satirical.
00:18:06.400 I can give you
00:18:07.120 the reference
00:18:07.660 to that.
00:18:08.480 That's what
00:18:08.920 ostrich,
00:18:09.460 by the way,
00:18:09.800 the ostrich
00:18:10.200 doesn't actually
00:18:10.820 do this.
00:18:11.320 It's become a
00:18:11.840 metaphor for
00:18:12.860 denying reality.
00:18:14.200 But why
00:18:14.980 are you
00:18:15.440 having that
00:18:16.220 reflex?
00:18:16.960 Because you
00:18:17.560 are suicidally
00:18:18.500 empathetic.
00:18:20.000 Because it
00:18:20.460 would be
00:18:20.860 gauche
00:18:21.380 for you
00:18:22.320 to argue
00:18:22.960 that it
00:18:23.660 might be
00:18:24.220 linked to
00:18:24.700 a particular
00:18:25.240 set of
00:18:25.860 religious
00:18:26.220 beliefs.
00:18:26.820 That wouldn't
00:18:27.380 be kind.
00:18:28.440 It wouldn't
00:18:28.760 be compassionate.
00:18:30.020 Nice people
00:18:30.620 don't do that.
00:18:31.800 So you come up
00:18:32.440 with endless
00:18:32.940 other explanations,
00:18:34.980 many of
00:18:35.640 which are
00:18:36.680 generated
00:18:37.220 by professors.
00:18:38.100 professors.
00:18:41.660 This is up
00:18:43.720 and down
00:18:44.160 England.
00:18:46.020 Up and down
00:18:47.020 England for
00:18:47.780 the past
00:18:48.200 30 years.
00:18:49.480 Lower end
00:18:50.220 of the
00:18:50.540 estimates,
00:18:51.200 250,000.
00:18:52.920 Upper end
00:18:53.560 of the
00:18:53.860 estimates,
00:18:54.520 up to
00:18:54.820 about a
00:18:55.200 million
00:18:55.560 British
00:18:56.300 white girls
00:18:57.160 have been
00:18:57.980 raped.
00:18:59.760 Not
00:19:00.240 exclusively
00:19:01.420 by, but
00:19:02.560 by an
00:19:03.160 extraordinarily
00:19:04.060 greater
00:19:04.880 statistical
00:19:05.440 probability
00:19:06.200 of men
00:19:07.100 that come
00:19:07.540 from one
00:19:08.080 particular
00:19:08.560 background.
00:19:09.560 I'm just
00:19:09.900 going to
00:19:10.140 read you
00:19:10.480 here a
00:19:10.860 few of
00:19:11.200 the names.
00:19:12.100 Muhammad
00:19:12.480 Ilfaz,
00:19:13.460 Muhammad
00:19:13.840 Azim,
00:19:14.900 Mansur
00:19:15.320 Hassan,
00:19:16.280 Muhammad
00:19:16.680 Akram,
00:19:17.720 Niyaz
00:19:18.100 Ahmed,
00:19:18.980 Muhammad
00:19:19.300 Imran
00:19:19.880 Ibrard.
00:19:21.460 I put
00:19:22.060 this exact
00:19:22.860 figure up
00:19:23.500 on my
00:19:23.860 social media
00:19:24.540 and I
00:19:25.600 said I'm
00:19:26.080 not smart
00:19:26.680 enough.
00:19:27.380 I don't
00:19:27.640 have the
00:19:28.080 big data
00:19:28.840 analytic
00:19:29.380 abilities
00:19:30.000 to tie
00:19:31.080 this
00:19:31.360 together.
00:19:31.960 Can
00:19:32.080 someone
00:19:32.380 tell me
00:19:33.020 what
00:19:33.720 unifies
00:19:34.800 these?
00:19:36.420 You know
00:19:37.140 what the
00:19:37.380 answer
00:19:37.620 was?
00:19:38.880 Jews.
00:19:41.080 But it
00:19:41.860 wasn't
00:19:42.180 satirical.
00:19:42.920 They weren't
00:19:43.300 playing along
00:19:43.860 and being
00:19:44.140 facetious.
00:19:45.060 It turns
00:19:45.740 out that
00:19:46.260 it's the
00:19:46.700 Jews
00:19:47.180 because it's
00:19:48.860 the Jews
00:19:49.400 that control
00:19:50.360 the immigration
00:19:51.540 policy of
00:19:52.800 Britain,
00:19:53.740 of France,
00:19:54.820 of Spain,
00:19:55.980 of Italy,
00:19:57.720 of Denmark,
00:19:58.760 of Sweden.
00:20:00.600 You
00:20:00.780 simpletons
00:20:01.420 might think
00:20:02.000 that it's
00:20:02.340 actually not
00:20:03.000 Jews,
00:20:03.400 but behind
00:20:04.100 them,
00:20:04.280 just like
00:20:04.700 I'm
00:20:04.880 behind
00:20:05.280 Elon
00:20:05.660 Musk
00:20:06.020 profiteering
00:20:06.860 him.
00:20:07.540 It's
00:20:07.840 the Jews
00:20:08.340 that are
00:20:08.660 to blame.
00:20:09.900 That's a
00:20:10.500 mixture of
00:20:11.060 parasitic
00:20:11.660 thinking and
00:20:13.420 suicidal
00:20:13.800 empathy.
00:20:14.760 And it
00:20:15.120 will bring
00:20:15.620 down the
00:20:16.000 West.
00:20:16.480 You just
00:20:16.860 don't have
00:20:17.340 the temporal
00:20:18.180 imagination
00:20:18.960 to look that
00:20:20.160 far ahead.
00:20:20.900 It won't
00:20:21.260 happen tomorrow.
00:20:22.180 It won't
00:20:22.480 happen in
00:20:22.940 five years.
00:20:23.800 It won't
00:20:24.060 happen in
00:20:24.480 50 years.
00:20:25.360 But inshallah,
00:20:26.340 it will
00:20:26.620 happen.
00:20:27.940 Or
00:20:28.420 wake up.
00:20:28.920 other
00:20:30.160 examples of
00:20:30.920 suicidal
00:20:31.220 empathy.
00:20:33.920 There was
00:20:34.400 a huge
00:20:35.600 prevalence
00:20:38.980 of
00:20:40.020 attacks
00:20:40.980 by
00:20:41.820 migrant
00:20:42.880 men
00:20:43.480 in
00:20:44.140 Germany
00:20:44.980 in
00:20:45.700 swimming
00:20:46.200 pools.
00:20:46.680 Okay?
00:20:48.520 The
00:20:48.940 German
00:20:49.520 municipality
00:20:51.000 came up
00:20:51.940 with
00:20:52.580 this is
00:20:53.400 not
00:20:53.620 satire.
00:20:54.960 It's
00:20:55.300 an
00:20:55.560 overweight
00:20:56.420 German
00:20:57.240 redheaded
00:20:58.040 woman
00:20:58.520 that is
00:20:59.560 sexually
00:21:00.160 abusing
00:21:01.360 a
00:21:02.360 one-legged
00:21:03.880 black
00:21:06.040 child.
00:21:07.360 Even
00:21:07.740 my
00:21:08.240 satire
00:21:08.940 is not
00:21:09.340 as
00:21:09.520 good as
00:21:10.020 this.
00:21:12.320 That's
00:21:13.000 suicidal
00:21:13.440 empathy.
00:21:15.340 Do you
00:21:15.600 know the
00:21:15.860 middle
00:21:16.040 one?
00:21:16.680 Yeah,
00:21:19.900 the
00:21:20.020 finish.
00:21:20.760 Yes,
00:21:21.260 thank you.
00:21:22.260 It's the
00:21:22.740 non-no
00:21:23.360 square dance,
00:21:24.360 which,
00:21:24.620 by the
00:21:24.800 way,
00:21:25.020 I made
00:21:25.420 viral by
00:21:26.040 instituting
00:21:26.880 with the
00:21:27.180 help of
00:21:27.480 my wife,
00:21:28.200 my own
00:21:28.660 normal dance,
00:21:29.540 when she
00:21:30.200 was saying
00:21:30.680 that I
00:21:30.960 looked
00:21:31.180 really
00:21:31.420 hard,
00:21:31.860 and I
00:21:32.000 said,
00:21:32.280 don't
00:21:32.500 touch
00:21:32.740 me
00:21:32.920 in
00:21:33.020 my
00:21:33.160 normal
00:21:33.440 square.
00:21:35.040 The
00:21:35.560 Finns
00:21:35.960 came up
00:21:36.420 with
00:21:36.580 a viral
00:21:37.160 TikTok
00:21:37.600 clip
00:21:38.160 explaining
00:21:39.080 to
00:21:39.380 the
00:21:39.740 noble
00:21:40.180 migrants
00:21:40.780 who
00:21:41.000 were
00:21:41.240 gang
00:21:41.680 raping
00:21:42.100 them,
00:21:42.720 that
00:21:42.920 when
00:21:43.120 they
00:21:43.340 tell
00:21:43.600 you
00:21:43.820 don't
00:21:44.200 approach
00:21:44.660 my
00:21:44.900 non-no
00:21:45.320 thing,
00:21:46.620 they
00:21:46.820 just
00:21:47.060 fuck
00:21:47.320 away.
00:21:49.700 Then
00:21:50.180 you've
00:21:50.420 got,
00:21:50.740 of course,
00:21:51.200 refugees
00:21:51.680 welcome,
00:21:52.320 he would
00:21:52.600 fare well
00:21:53.080 with those
00:21:53.440 refugees,
00:21:54.360 we've
00:21:54.680 got this
00:21:55.300 minister
00:21:56.680 that says
00:21:57.700 that we
00:21:57.980 are all
00:21:58.420 Muslims,
00:21:59.500 here we've
00:21:59.960 got this
00:22:00.340 guy who
00:22:00.680 killed
00:22:00.920 the
00:22:01.220 young
00:22:02.020 Ukrainian
00:22:02.620 woman
00:22:02.980 who's
00:22:03.400 been
00:22:03.540 arrested
00:22:03.840 a million
00:22:04.200 times,
00:22:04.760 because
00:22:05.080 you have
00:22:06.060 to give
00:22:06.320 people a
00:22:06.740 second
00:22:06.960 chance,
00:22:07.420 and by
00:22:07.640 second
00:22:07.920 chance,
00:22:08.360 it
00:22:08.460 means
00:22:08.720 187th
00:22:10.140 chance,
00:22:11.020 right?
00:22:11.620 And
00:22:11.820 then here,
00:22:12.580 of course,
00:22:13.900 you shouldn't
00:22:14.380 be arrested,
00:22:15.000 you shouldn't
00:22:15.640 be dealing
00:22:16.960 with the
00:22:17.320 homeless
00:22:17.600 crisis,
00:22:18.640 because they
00:22:19.120 don't have
00:22:19.580 personal
00:22:19.940 agency,
00:22:20.800 none of
00:22:21.860 the reasons
00:22:23.020 why they
00:22:23.520 are in
00:22:23.840 the current
00:22:24.220 lot,
00:22:24.540 that they
00:22:24.800 are,
00:22:25.220 stems from
00:22:25.600 their
00:22:25.800 internal
00:22:26.380 locus of
00:22:27.040 control,
00:22:27.480 it's all
00:22:27.960 due to
00:22:28.420 external,
00:22:29.640 therefore,
00:22:30.300 by punishing
00:22:31.060 the homeless,
00:22:31.900 or by punishing
00:22:32.620 repeat
00:22:33.060 felons,
00:22:33.760 you're only
00:22:34.220 re-victimizing
00:22:35.140 them,
00:22:35.460 since they
00:22:35.960 are the
00:22:36.340 victims,
00:22:36.860 that's what
00:22:37.220 suicidal
00:22:37.540 activity is.
00:22:38.260 I'll do
00:22:41.460 probably
00:22:41.720 another three
00:22:42.180 minutes,
00:22:42.480 so we'll
00:22:42.640 have maybe
00:22:42.880 five minutes
00:22:43.460 for questions.
00:22:44.440 Additional
00:22:44.760 examples of
00:22:45.400 suicidal
00:22:45.720 empathy,
00:22:46.660 well,
00:22:46.920 of course,
00:22:47.760 the U.S.
00:22:48.560 most recent
00:22:49.120 addition to
00:22:49.820 the Supreme
00:22:50.700 Court,
00:22:51.500 we've got
00:22:51.960 this beautiful
00:22:52.840 woman,
00:22:54.060 Dylan Mulvaney,
00:22:56.380 and we've got
00:22:56.860 a stunning
00:22:57.500 woman,
00:22:58.420 Leah Thomas,
00:23:00.180 that until
00:23:01.140 15 minutes
00:23:01.980 ago,
00:23:02.480 the 117
00:23:03.620 billion people
00:23:04.460 that had
00:23:04.860 lived on
00:23:05.320 Earth,
00:23:05.580 that's
00:23:06.020 an actual
00:23:06.600 real estimate,
00:23:08.220 we're able
00:23:08.860 to fully
00:23:09.640 and unequivocally
00:23:11.060 navigate through
00:23:12.040 the very
00:23:12.620 difficult
00:23:13.140 conundrum
00:23:13.720 of what
00:23:14.460 constitutes a
00:23:15.280 male and
00:23:15.660 female phenotype,
00:23:16.800 but now,
00:23:17.720 through progressive
00:23:18.380 science,
00:23:19.640 we know that's
00:23:20.240 no longer true,
00:23:21.380 and that's why
00:23:21.840 we're having
00:23:22.300 these really
00:23:22.780 important debates
00:23:23.640 of how do we
00:23:24.480 know what's
00:23:24.960 a male or
00:23:25.360 female,
00:23:26.380 and then here,
00:23:27.320 of course,
00:23:27.740 it turns out
00:23:28.280 that being
00:23:28.720 overweight is
00:23:30.160 really an
00:23:30.880 attack,
00:23:31.480 it's a form
00:23:32.120 of white
00:23:32.540 supremacy,
00:23:33.260 just if you
00:23:33.880 say,
00:23:34.740 if you're
00:23:35.200 a physician
00:23:35.680 and you
00:23:36.140 tell your
00:23:36.700 patient,
00:23:38.060 you're 40
00:23:38.440 pounds overweight,
00:23:39.220 you need to
00:23:39.620 lose weight,
00:23:40.680 this book
00:23:41.400 explains to you
00:23:41.960 that reflex
00:23:43.800 to medicalize
00:23:45.540 and pathologize
00:23:46.520 obesity stems
00:23:47.680 from the
00:23:48.060 slave trade,
00:23:49.200 and then in
00:23:49.760 this case,
00:23:51.080 no empathetic
00:23:52.360 person that
00:23:53.320 cares about
00:23:53.840 Mother Earth
00:23:54.480 would ever
00:23:55.420 go through
00:23:56.160 the terrible
00:23:58.300 trajectory of
00:24:00.280 actually considering
00:24:01.040 having children,
00:24:02.760 and therefore,
00:24:03.360 that's why
00:24:03.820 many people
00:24:04.980 are for
00:24:05.800 going and
00:24:08.040 having children.
00:24:09.160 So to end
00:24:09.800 it,
00:24:10.300 how to save
00:24:10.840 the West,
00:24:11.220 and this is
00:24:11.580 not a full
00:24:12.220 exhaustive list,
00:24:13.420 but a good
00:24:13.860 one,
00:24:15.760 and it's
00:24:16.480 how to save
00:24:16.980 the West
00:24:17.300 and how to
00:24:17.680 save the
00:24:17.980 universities,
00:24:18.560 if you like,
00:24:18.980 pursue knowledge
00:24:19.640 unencumbered by
00:24:20.400 ideological
00:24:20.960 activism,
00:24:22.400 no knowledge
00:24:22.920 is forbidden
00:24:23.480 and gathered
00:24:23.960 objectively
00:24:24.520 using the
00:24:25.000 scientific method,
00:24:26.280 freedom of
00:24:26.760 speech,
00:24:27.220 freedom of
00:24:27.580 inquiry,
00:24:28.100 and the
00:24:28.220 pursuit of
00:24:28.680 truth are
00:24:29.520 deontological
00:24:30.460 principles,
00:24:31.180 they're not
00:24:31.520 consequentialist
00:24:32.660 principles,
00:24:33.140 and the
00:24:33.980 three,
00:24:34.400 a just
00:24:34.740 society
00:24:35.240 is rooted
00:24:35.760 in the
00:24:36.160 ethos
00:24:36.580 of a
00:24:36.860 meritocracy,
00:24:38.100 as E.O.
00:24:38.860 Wilson famously
00:24:40.060 explained to
00:24:40.760 us,
00:24:41.300 he's an
00:24:41.600 entomologist,
00:24:42.780 when he was
00:24:43.260 asked about
00:24:44.000 what do you
00:24:45.220 think,
00:24:45.560 Professor
00:24:45.840 Wilson,
00:24:46.280 about
00:24:46.520 socialism
00:24:47.200 slash
00:24:47.660 communism,
00:24:48.420 congratulations,
00:24:49.180 by the way,
00:24:49.560 I'm
00:24:49.640 Namdani,
00:24:50.460 looks like a
00:24:50.940 really exciting
00:24:51.580 guy for
00:24:52.120 playing a
00:24:52.440 capitalist
00:24:52.760 silly
00:24:53.340 socialist
00:24:54.240 hellhole,
00:24:55.320 well,
00:24:56.460 he explained
00:24:57.860 to us,
00:24:58.220 E.O.
00:24:58.420 Wilson,
00:24:58.760 he said,
00:24:59.200 great idea,
00:25:00.280 wrong species,
00:25:01.800 so it's
00:25:03.240 wonderful for
00:25:03.980 ants to be
00:25:04.720 communistic,
00:25:05.460 because they
00:25:05.880 actually have
00:25:06.520 a philogenic
00:25:07.060 history that
00:25:08.180 would have
00:25:08.480 promoted that
00:25:09.280 type of
00:25:09.700 communal
00:25:10.060 living,
00:25:10.840 human beings
00:25:11.420 are not
00:25:11.880 social ants,
00:25:13.380 number four,
00:25:14.360 proudly and
00:25:14.920 unequivocally
00:25:18.300 defend western
00:25:19.720 values,
00:25:20.780 there's nothing
00:25:21.240 racist of you
00:25:22.160 saying some
00:25:23.160 cultures are
00:25:23.800 superior to
00:25:24.420 others,
00:25:24.800 hence all
00:25:26.540 cultures,
00:25:27.080 religions are
00:25:27.680 not equal,
00:25:29.120 cultural
00:25:29.520 homophily
00:25:30.160 matters,
00:25:31.180 I gave a
00:25:31.700 talk recently
00:25:32.320 in Iceland
00:25:32.940 that I asked
00:25:33.740 them,
00:25:34.420 openly to the
00:25:35.080 audience,
00:25:35.800 I said,
00:25:36.160 you have about
00:25:37.500 400,000 people
00:25:38.580 here,
00:25:39.540 do you think
00:25:40.260 that if
00:25:40.600 150,000
00:25:42.120 Danes were
00:25:42.960 to be dropped
00:25:43.740 into Iceland
00:25:44.520 versus 150,000
00:25:46.680 people from
00:25:47.460 Waziristan,
00:25:48.660 do you think
00:25:49.240 there would be
00:25:49.760 a difference
00:25:50.420 in their
00:25:50.820 capacity to
00:25:51.520 assimilate?
00:25:52.280 You should
00:25:52.600 have seen
00:25:52.980 the squirming
00:25:54.200 and women
00:25:55.000 that they
00:25:55.400 were doing.
00:25:56.180 Everybody
00:25:56.580 knew the
00:25:57.100 answer,
00:25:57.680 but it
00:25:57.900 was mean
00:25:58.400 to say
00:25:58.840 it.
00:26:00.120 Number six,
00:26:01.400 exhibit zero
00:26:02.120 tolerance for
00:26:02.920 seditious belief
00:26:03.700 systems.
00:26:04.960 Number seven,
00:26:05.800 which is really
00:26:06.560 relevant to my
00:26:07.360 forthcoming book,
00:26:08.240 adaptive empathy
00:26:09.280 is wonderful,
00:26:11.340 suicidal empathy
00:26:12.380 will destroy
00:26:13.340 our civilization.
00:26:14.800 All ideas,
00:26:15.780 beliefs,
00:26:16.220 and ideologies
00:26:16.980 are open to
00:26:17.860 criticism,
00:26:18.600 debate,
00:26:19.120 mocking,
00:26:19.880 ridicule,
00:26:20.520 and other forms
00:26:21.240 and hopes
00:26:21.760 to present.
00:26:22.440 Thank you very
00:26:22.840 much.
