00:07:27.320to mind for me it's gumby and stork self-righteous indignation and just come on already what is it
00:07:39.740with all of these leftist politicians why do they have that air about them i mean dr maltaus you
00:07:45.800spent time in the conservative party kind of yes kind of although i've been affiliated with him for
00:07:51.260a while but i was i was a a candidate for the the bc conservative party for six hours right it's a
00:07:58.400new record for the brevity of my uh of my candidacy but um yeah so i think i would definitely go with
00:08:07.580the conservatives rather than the ndp here in british columbia and the ndp i agree with marcello
00:08:13.060that really it's it's they're not quite dictators yet but they're moving along that path and in fact
00:08:18.160I think we're going to discuss all the different laws and bills that are really like a full court press where each one is coming after a profession or and most recently this bill bill seven, which is really a complete sweep, I think, of powers where anything that was previously in legislature was already voted on and passed into law can be overridden by this new bill, this new law.
00:08:43.020Well, Doc, I'll tell you this. You said that we're not quite authoritarian or totalitarian yet. I believe that Dr. Hoff would have a different opinion of that, considering what you've been through.
00:08:53.840Absolutely. They have been ruthless in censoring truth. And, you know, once you have censorship of speech, once you shut down freedom of speech, you no longer have a democracy.
00:09:06.200you know freedom of speech is the bedrock of a free country and of democracy and before this
00:09:13.460pandemic nobody had ever heard of this idea of misinformation and I mean certainly in
00:09:18.880in medicine and science it's a complete oxymoron because the facts of you know what we think is
00:09:25.980true in medicine next year might not be considered true because we we do not know what we do not know
00:09:31.620So it's always evolving. And so when they censor discussion, when they censor.
00:09:38.700Yeah, freedom of speech, you you cripple medicine and science and you lose your democracy.
00:09:45.480Were you surprised at what happened to you? And I'm not talking about like six months down front, down the line from when it first happened.
00:09:52.540But when it first happened, were you like, what the hell is going on here?
00:09:56.740I mean, I've got patients who are sick. They're coming to me with issues that can only be described as a vaccine injury. And if I say it out loud, I'm vilified by the establishment.
00:10:07.300Yeah, they started off by telling me that I wasn't allowed to say anything negative about the COVID vaccines. So, you know, you can't give informed consent. You know, in medical care, informed consent is a legal requirement.
00:10:24.560uh it is i think it's supreme court of canada 1980 it is a legal requirement for every medical
00:10:33.420treatment you have to tell people the pros and cons and alternatives and and and we were told
00:10:39.660you we were not allowed to say anything negative which meant that doctors could no longer obey the
00:10:48.740law uh informed consent was impossible so what would happen then if if you were told a patient
00:10:55.740look at you know what um i'm not so sure that this particular formula is right for you you seem like
00:11:02.380a young healthy dude who uh will be fine if he catches whatever this thing is and it'll take you
00:11:10.160a few days to recover and then everything will be good you'll have you know immunity for forever
00:11:15.080If you said something like that to a patient of yours and it got back to the the board, what would happen?
00:11:23.800Like what happened to you? Yeah, well, I was fired.
00:11:27.340I was an emergency room doctor for 30 years and I told I told the emergency room nurse one evening when we had a vaccine injured patient came in who who had had COVID and had a very mild time of it.
00:11:41.760it was, you know, not as bad as the flu. And so this person clearly had natural immunity because
00:11:47.820when she got COVID, it was just no big deal. And yet I told the nurse to tell her she didn't need
00:11:53.460her next shot because she had natural immunity. And apart from that, she got way more sick from0.95
00:11:58.560the vaccine than from COVID. And I was fired on the spot from the emergency room after a 30-year
00:12:04.980career in the ER for saying that someone with natural immunity didn't need the shot.
00:12:10.320How were you fired, Dr. Hoff? What happened? Did the boss come in and say you're fired or was it a long discussion? Was there any sort of debate?
00:12:18.540There was no discussion. There was no discussion. I got a phone call to tell me that I was relieved of my duties and I would be receiving a registered letter.
00:12:26.960And there was no discussion. There was no hearing. There was nothing.
00:12:30.600It was literally just the most draconian thing. They were supposed to have given me a hearing within 14 days, and that was four years ago. I'm still waiting.
00:12:41.840okay so let's and this is why i say you know you two docs at the bottom of the screen here i got
00:12:49.340to get you on and you've got enough to tell for your own episodes here probably times two uh but
00:12:56.280james and marcella let's talk about all of the things on the table tonight i've seen the posters
00:13:00.860that you guys have put up with bc strong rise up bc stop the ndp bill seven let's go over that first
00:13:07.520please. Just really quick, I just wanted to make one comment about what Dr. Hoff said.
00:13:12.460Okay. You can't make informed consent without explaining, right? And one of the things that
00:13:18.200David Eby did, he used to be the executive director for the BC Civil Liberties Association
00:13:23.380here in BC from 2008 to 2012. And while he was running, campaigning for the BC NDP leadership,
00:13:31.060he suggested that involuntary mental health and addictions care might need to be considered.
00:14:07.200And this is the executive director of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association.
00:14:13.060He should know better. And he's a lawyer. He should know better than that.
00:14:15.920So what for everybody watching across the country right now and, you know, everybody who watches this show is obviously concerned about authoritarianism and a totalitarian government.
00:14:26.980And they watch the debate tonight with anger, probably like we all did.
00:14:42.400It's, you know, it's a terrifying time to be, you know, alive and knowing what's going on with the way we're being governed.
00:14:49.580So I just want to get people fired up and understand why we've come to this show is that we actually we're taking action.
00:14:55.340B.C. Strong. We're a new provincial party here in British Columbia.
00:14:58.960Marcel and myself and a few others have registered.
00:15:00.900And we're going to be taking taking our first initiative. It's BC strong. So BC, it's time to wake up and rise up. We're rallying for two urgent reasons. One, to expose the NDP, the No Democracy Party, what the No Democracy Party is doing.
00:15:19.980they're pushing unconstitutional legislation designed to control this province. Strip away
00:15:26.720your freedoms and pave the way for authoritarianism rule. Okay and two we're going to have a rally so
00:15:34.660we're going to do this at Nikki Sharma's constituency office. Who that is if you're not
00:15:39.160aware Nikki Sharma is our MLA for the NDP but she holds two other positions of prominence in our
00:15:47.200government here she's the premier uh pardon me she's the deputy premier and attorney general as
00:15:52.220well so she has a lot of influence uh over what's happening in this province so join us saturday may
00:15:59.2203rd at nikki sharma's constituency office for the bc strong rise up bc rally this is your chance to
00:16:06.460stand with others who are saying enough is enough so that's okay that's where we're at with this
00:16:12.960This initiative here is we already know that David Eby, he should have never invoked closure on Bill 36, which was the Health Care Professions and Occupations Act that happened in 2022.
00:16:28.300And, you know, taking over the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the landscape for our health care sector.
00:17:03.040Okay. So how does that impact you guys? Dr. Malthouse, first.
00:17:07.900Well, I'm a healthcare practitioner, so as a medical doctor, but it also affects everybody else, chiropractors, naturopaths, dentists, physiotherapists, optometrists, everybody who is a healthcare practitioner.
00:17:18.660In fact, it takes 16 self-regulating colleges and sort of blends them all and melts it down to six.
00:17:28.520So that's just the basis of it, the idea of modernizing and streamlining medicine.
00:17:33.400But in fact, it affects us because it has much, much tighter controls than we have ever had on what we can say and do.
00:17:41.760So your previous example about what happens if you tell a patient they shouldn't take the COVID shot or they might consider not taking it or they might want to weigh the evidence.
00:17:49.920Under this new bill, which was passed in November 2022, it's not Bill 36 anymore.
00:17:56.000It's the Health Professions and Occupations Act.
00:18:00.160You could be brought up on charges for that.
00:18:02.120You could have your license suspended. You could be fined up to five hundred thousand dollars and imprisoned up to two years if you're a corporation.
00:18:11.000And so there's some incredible things that have been brought in with that act.
00:18:14.720It will affect everybody. And that's a good reason that doctors are retiring early, leaving the province, looking for work elsewhere.
00:18:21.560And I suspect to affecting people's enthusiasm about going to the health care profession.
00:18:26.480So if you were going to be under that kind of a sword for all your professional life in British Columbia, you might want to think twice about coming a nurse or physiotherapist or even a doctor.
00:18:40.060And it's not good from a patient's perspective either, because they're not going to be able to tell you.
00:18:43.500Your doctor may not be able to tell you the truth.
00:18:45.420They may be gagged because of the stiff penalties.
00:18:48.440and also um in that uh health professions occupations act they can now just march into
00:18:54.520a doctor's office and take anybody's charts they want and they can lock your doctor's office on a
00:18:59.720on a uh on a complaint that can be um anonymous so you know they don't have to undergo
00:19:07.940investigation before then to put a lock on your door and say you you've got to close your practice
00:19:12.660so there are many things can in there i know that uh marcella i think was mentioning how this was
00:19:17.640brought on uh by closure which means that they decide to go home for dinner and uh if if the
00:19:23.460dinner hour comes up at 4 30 um the debate's over and uh you vote then and because they had a majority
00:19:31.140the ndp pushed it through so that's how how how that actually being yeah so like for example what
00:19:38.860what maltose is saying there is that uh mike farnworth he disposed of you guys you guys are
00:19:44.460on a last name basis then i see okay well not really relaxed situation here tonight then that's
00:19:52.460good we've had dr maltose to four of our events and we have quite a history together charles
00:19:58.600hoff dr charles hoff i mean obviously we have an immense amount of respect for these two men
00:20:02.640um and many other uh healthcare practitioners doctors that have stood with us you know at the
00:20:08.280college of physicians and surgeons but the point being is that mike farnworth he is an ndp uh i
00:20:13.160I can't remember what his exact title was in the last term, but he disposed of the debate 200 sections into a bill that has 645 sections, which is the Health Care Professions and Occupations Act.
00:20:24.560And you can just imagine how hard that would be to decipher if you even did get through the 645 sections of this literature.
00:20:31.080But that's our democracy and that's transparency.
00:20:33.500So how would these MLAs be able to make informed decisions whether or not these policies are good for British Columbians or they're negative?
00:20:40.760so that's the whole democracy part of what we're standing up to and why it is when bills like bill
00:20:46.04036 the health care professions and occupations act and we'll get into bill 21 as well which is
00:20:50.220the legal professions and occupations act um are being passed with little to no transparency that
00:20:55.880bill got passed with only nine percent of it being read out in the third reading and again you know
00:21:00.300invoke closure on that bill and it got royal assent literally like almost immediately so
00:21:05.440Wait a minute. Let me let me. This has all been done with the conservative opposition sitting in the legislature. Am I right?
00:21:14.320No, no. The conservative opposition didn't exist.
00:21:18.520So we're going back some here. So the liberals or B.C. United or whatever the hell they were called, renamed themselves.
00:21:25.020So they were the ones who were supposedly sitting in opposition, but not really.
00:21:30.280Well, they were, but they but the NDP had majority government, so they could do pretty much whatever they liked.
00:21:35.440Okay. So right now we're sitting in a situation in British Columbia where the NDP are hanging on to a majority by what? What is it? One seat?
00:21:44.160A couple, I think now. But to the, well, they see they have the Green Party to back them up and they've kind of created a bit of a coalition.
00:21:51.340So although the Green Party was not too thrilled with this recent Bill 7, nevertheless, they're kind of keen on a few amendments to push it through.
00:22:00.560So, yeah, they have a majority in the government still.
00:22:02.900okay so so yeah just just to recap on what you were saying there was it was the liberal party
00:22:10.540that just rebranded themselves into bc united so it's been the liberal party for a long time
00:22:15.000and um they were the opposition which again you know dr maltaus is correct on that as is the
00:22:21.280the majority government by a long shot especially in the last term from the 2020 election
00:22:25.720was highly NDP, the No Democracy Party, and that's exactly what it is. So when they invoke
00:22:34.920closure on a bill and just dispose of the debate, there's really nothing anybody can do about it,
00:22:39.160but there is a due procedure of reading out the legislation just for the sake of transparency,
00:22:44.500and that's all being overridden. Okay, so what is the situation currently
00:22:51.700with the Conservative Party of British Columbia?
00:24:36.600she's a lawyer and um she was the attorney general shadow that means you know the one who0.74
00:24:42.240would keep the attorney general this uh vick uh nikki sharma um keep her in check if possible
00:24:47.740and then she was joined by uh tara armstrong and an mla uh by name of keely so they they they've
00:24:54.620have now three independents on the other side of the floor now that doesn't mean they can't vote
00:24:58.460for conservative values or conservative policy it's funny we talk about conservative liberals
00:25:02.980and stuff like that. It's like, I think we're kind of, that's a bit old hat, isn't it? It's
00:25:07.320kind of like talking about, you know, sovereignty and truth and, you know, and doing the right
00:25:13.160thing, you know, and protecting people's land, their property, all those things. If they had
00:25:17.380a party that had that in their name, I think we'd all vote for them. But now people vote based on
00:25:21.980these false ideas of conservative, liberal NDP. The NDP is before the people. Now it seems like
00:25:27.600they're completely against the people. But anyway, so it's a bit of a hodgepodge here. In BC, we've
00:25:32.680The NDP still control it. We've got two green MLAs, members of the legislature, who tend to have very similar ideas to what the NDP have, at least in part. And then we have these independents.
00:25:50.940conservatives are pushing back. And if you look at the handset of what they've been saying in the
00:25:56.780legislature in the last few days, or at least since the beginning of April, some of it has
00:26:02.000been very good, particularly some of the criticisms of this Bill 7, which they're trying to push
00:26:06.380through, which has these sweeping powers. Essentially, the NDP, if that gets passed,
00:26:12.140the Premier, David Eby, can do anything pretty much he wants, including get rid of old laws,
00:26:19.080overwrite them uh you know put taxes new taxes on people high taxes and well i mean the ndp can do
00:26:25.780anything they want right now anyway because they're the majority but well there are some laws
00:26:30.200you know yes i understand the processes and procedures needed for that to happen so so
00:26:35.880with if bill c7 or bill 7 passes will eb just be able to wake up in the morning and say0.98
00:26:42.680you over there come here and wipe my ass or i'm sorry i'm throwing you in jail for 10 years but0.95
00:26:48.580But, you know, the whole thing is it's to protect the economy of British Columbia in times of a tariff war with that orange guy.0.99
00:26:56.960So which is very interesting because they're trying to protect the economy.0.97
00:27:00.700But you think about it, that the NDP, when they came into power, they had a six billion dollar surplus.
00:27:07.920And now they have a 14 point something billion dollar deficit.
00:27:12.540They just had there. So, I mean, how are they protecting the economy there now?
00:27:15.620they've lost 20 billion dollars in the years that they've been in power and they've also we had our
00:27:20.780credit rating just dropped uh a level to a second level um for our government so they're not i don't
00:27:27.620know why they would come out with a bill about the economy they've obviously failed british
00:27:31.480columbians but aren't you surprised that british columbians put them back into power i'm completely
00:27:37.220i was completely shocked me too yeah i i couldn't believe it i mean the election night and of course
00:27:43.420all of the rigmarole that happened for a month afterwards with the miscounts here and the
00:27:48.580challenges there and you know at the beginning it was like a tie i think between the conservatives
00:27:53.740and the ndp right before they did all of the investigation and the final recounts and and
00:27:59.500whatnot and i i can't believe it's turned out like this how has this even happened like how is this
00:28:05.520even possible that this can happen in 2025 in a democracy well you know dwight eisenhower he said
00:28:12.980Like back at the end of his presidency, I think it was 1961, he said that to maintain security and I think security and I think prosperity.
00:28:27.780But he said that you need you need civilians that are both alert and knowledgeable.
00:28:35.760The people are the problem, sadly.1.00
00:28:38.700They're ignorant, willfully ignorant, I think, sometimes.1.00
00:28:42.080I could chime in on a couple of things. I'm going to keep it quick, though, so everybody gets a chance to talk a little bit. You know, as far as the dilemma goes with the Conservative Party of British Columbia, it truly is being led by the Liberal government.0.99
00:28:54.320And John Rustad is a 20-year career politician who was a liberal who got kicked out of the Liberal Party based off of a tweet he made in climate control.
00:29:03.360And we had him come out and speak with actually both of these two fine doctors at our Stand United rally when we tried to recall David Eby.
00:29:11.180We kicked off that recall at David Eby's constituency office, much like what we're doing for this initiative.
00:29:17.300and yeah what what the thing about it is uh shadow is you've you've got like career politicians like
00:29:27.660eleanor circle um that you know when these new conservative members they're just they're just
00:29:34.580cutting their teeth and they're learning the ropes but they're being led by the liberal party um
00:29:40.280nothing's really changed as far as like you know dr maltaus said they got a they got a vote with
00:29:47.280the block you know the old way of doing things john rust that did sell that party to people like
00:29:52.300us who promoted it as grassroots and that he wasn't going to um take candidates that just
00:29:58.360mirrored everything he was saying and doing he wanted to get a broader scope of what the province
00:30:03.960actually needs and wants so we have the conservative party in bc is a failure no absolutely not the
00:30:12.080the platform is what we believed in we never believed like john rust that i'm not talking
00:30:16.620about the platform james i'm talking about the party itself they they don't they don't seem to
00:30:21.040be able to get along i've heard this from many other people out in british columbia as well the
00:30:25.460infighting is absolutely atrocious and as long as they're fighting themselves they're not going to
00:30:29.860be able to fight the government well to be that's exactly why i started bc strong like i i was the
00:30:35.600president marcella was the vice president of the abbotsford south riding association for the
00:30:40.000conservative party when we first got this off the ground two years ago and we were let go because i
00:30:46.120made a post and i was branded anti-semitic and uh marcel apparently was kicked out of the
00:30:51.420legislature which wasn't the truth but we got our memberships revoked anyways um so if you are those
00:30:57.920type types of people who uh speak your mind and say what you want to say um again you know it was
00:31:05.360sold as grassroots and and the leader of the party didn't want people who were just going to mimic
00:31:10.040everything he says um well that's just not the case so i i'm just you know what i'm i i find it
00:31:17.600i i laugh there i actually like one of those because it seems like in british columbia
00:31:25.220if you say anything that's against the accepted norm at all you get kicked out or you get silenced
00:31:52.560It's crazy, but it seems like on steroids in BC.
00:31:56.820That's the culture, and that's exactly why the NDP has remained successful
00:32:00.260because it's actually our mainstream media out here is ruthless,
00:32:03.880and they only pump one side of the narrative no matter what that is and you think about it like
00:32:08.640this there's so much bureaucracy that's controlling what people are saying because if you don't go with
00:32:14.060their flow of whatever their narrative is you are branded and it's their culture to pick on people
00:32:20.340so they're bullies they bully people into feeling small and shut out of conversation if they're going
00:32:27.860to have another side of the narrative it's the same thing with soji one two three it took strong
00:32:33.100leadership in order to um get the message out that it's a mental illness and not every child
00:32:38.760needs to be subjected to it in the education sector because some kids are struggling with
00:32:42.860their mental status you know what this is something i'd like to talk about i wonder if
00:32:47.340the doctors can actually say anything you guys are both licensed physicians in british columbia
00:32:52.420right yeah well charles is licensed i'm i'm uh i'm have a suspended license okay and and
00:33:00.900so if i if i asked dr hoff let's say you'd be safer to ask me because he'll be i know but i0.98
00:33:10.780just want to see what he does here because it's this whole thing is stupid ridiculous0.98
00:33:14.940so i'm going to ask you dr hoff i'm going to ask you this whole gender dysphoria nonsense that0.98
00:33:20.300we've been seeing uh seeing for the last few years really get big especially in june which
00:33:26.820is sadly coming up soon. If you were to say that there's no trans people, there's only gender
00:33:33.260dysphoria, there's only mental illness. And by the way, I'm the one that said that, not Dr. Hoff0.81
00:33:37.620for anybody who might be watching this. Could you say that without being sanctioned?
00:33:45.660Well, you know, all of the mental illnesses are categorized in the DSM, which is the Diagnostic
00:33:53.380and statistical manual of the American Psychiatric Association, which is now in edition five or
00:34:00.160version five. And gender dysphoria is listed in there as a mental disorder. And so, you know,
00:34:11.700from a medical perspective, if a person has a Y chromosome in every cell of their body,
00:34:18.440then they are male. And if they don't, they're a female. I mean, it's really that simple.
00:34:23.320You just look at the, you know, they always say, how do you tell the sex of a chromosome? Well,
00:34:27.200look in its genes, you know, and, and so it's, um, it, it's, so of course there's some people0.85
00:34:35.460that believe there's, I don't know, 65 different genders or something, but you've either got a
00:34:40.360Y chromosome or you don't. And, and that's the science. Right. But to say it like is a different
00:34:47.940thing right and and somehow they've conflated all of this ideology into medicine so that there are
00:34:55.740actual doctors like medical doctors out there who are saying that men can become pregnant
00:35:02.000and and that's not too many not too many i've seen it i've seen it in in united states
00:35:09.380house committees where somebody like a medical doctor she actually sat there with a straight
00:35:15.800face speaking to house members and senate members i think it was a joint committee and you guys ever0.68
00:35:21.920see any video of senator kennedy down there he is awesome anyway he was talking to this woman
00:35:28.080and and he said can you tell me unequivocally that a man can have a child she looked at him
00:35:37.480she swallowed and she said yes oh wow and you can't believe these things so for what you just
00:35:47.700said dr hoff you said it publicly could they come after you for saying something like that i mean
00:35:54.280you stated biological fact yeah and under this um hpoa that was bill 36 they would probably tell
00:36:03.780me that this is misinformation for which i can get a half a million dollars fine and six months
00:36:08.780in jail for stating what they consider to be sorry how many years it's up sorry it's six months if
00:36:17.400you're uh if you're not uh incorporated but for a lot of doctors incorporated it's up to two years
00:36:22.120okay so i'll get the two years so so for following the science you know and and that is what you know
00:36:28.840what I was saying is that this whole idea of misinformation is absolutely absurd because
00:36:34.820medicine requires different opinions for it to be able to advance. Science requires different
00:36:44.460opinions to progress. Once you sense a truth, medicines and science are dead in the water.
00:36:52.840And this is why I just want to quickly circle back to the dilemma that we are facing here in
00:36:57.040british columbia we know what we have with the ndp is this type of governance what just got
00:37:02.360all the doctors got shafted with this legislation but with the conservative party they have
00:37:08.620legislation that actually makes sense they have a they have a platform that makes sense which is
00:37:12.640why regardless you know you pick the lesser of the two evils and right now in uh british columbia
00:37:18.040yes smart voter would vote for either an independent which bc is not ready to take
00:37:23.580on independents i know that i got just under a thousand votes and that was pretty good for
00:37:27.640independent but uh the conservative party has the better platform and at least you know possibly if
00:37:33.080we can get bc strong going with a few um mlas elected we can push them forward as well with
00:37:39.440okay so the last time we talked bc strong was not a thing right no this is a this is a new
00:37:45.380registered party as of january 28th congratulations okay so what what are the uh the doctor's
00:37:52.440involvement in this steven what are you a member are you going to be running in the next election
00:37:57.180and and the reason i ask that is because even though the election is what like three years
00:38:01.200three and a half years away now we don't know it could be sooner than that because again it's very
00:38:05.820tight at the top and um i think that the more rope the ndp have the more likely they are to hang0.98
00:38:12.340themselves so um people may go like we just aren't going to put up with this anymore but it's going
00:38:17.340to take a lot because canadians as you know are pretty forgiving and you know it's usually
00:38:21.920apologize when someone steps on their foot so um it's hard to know but there is some thoughts that
00:38:28.520even bill seven which came out was kind of a bit of um showmanship you know trump is doing this so
00:38:35.940we're gonna puff up get our elbows out type of thing we're gonna do this back you know so there
00:38:40.160was some element that eb some thoughts that eb might be anticipating an earlier election
00:38:45.640than the the scheduled one because he's not happy with his number of mlas so he's thinking that
00:38:51.760he can go and get a more resounding majority somehow yeah that could be it and also i mean
00:38:57.080it may be a good time where you show how tough you are and so on and you get public opinion behind
00:39:01.780you i mean how many people are throwing their their canadian flags these days and you know
00:39:06.000talk about elbows up it's it's kind of ridiculous when people were really standing up for freedom
00:39:11.280and and and national values let's say um they were they were condemned even condemned in our
00:39:17.780legislature where they they passed a motion condemning the uh the the people that took their
00:39:23.180trucks and vehicles to ottawa to to ask for you know freedom of choice in health care when did
00:39:29.200this topsy-turvy world start oh i think it's going on for a thousand years no no no i mean like
00:39:35.320things used to make sense you know this is orwellian this is beyond topsy-turvy this is
00:39:42.880This is total authoritarian governance that wants to have control and dominate the people to put us into 15 minute cities.
00:39:50.800We have to understand that you have no right to your bodily autonomy.
00:39:53.640You have to understand that you don't have a leg to stand on in our courts because the courts will be working for the state moving forward with Bill 21, the Legal Professions and Occupations Act.
00:40:03.280And now with Bill 7, we don't have to have the legislative process because we have a dictatorship who knows exactly what British Columbians need.
00:40:09.820So don't sweat it, guys. Just do what you're told.
00:40:12.340and if you don't do what you're told we'll take your land we'll give you million dollar fines like
00:40:16.120in the emergency act that they've they've got you if a business doesn't follow protocol can be
00:40:22.020fined a million dollars like a business owner just like me so there you go yeah and also a lot of it
00:40:28.940is written so there's only an anticipation of an event so in in the in bill seven uh with regard
00:40:34.620to the tariff war if if anticipation that something from a foreign country will have an
00:40:40.500effect on the economy they can then take action and when they say take action means they can
00:40:45.140they can essentially pass a law in chamber like without by that i mean without any consultation
00:40:51.340to the to the general legislature they can come out and say this law has been passed and uh that
00:40:57.220law up until recently was going to be good for two years that was the sundown clause the the
00:41:02.180sunset clause right i think eb's backtracked it down to one year uh recently just to make it more
00:41:07.380palatable, but essentially it means that they don't have to go through the, through the regular
00:41:12.200debate and, uh, um, and oversight that would perceive most lawmaking. Well, let me, let me
00:41:19.080ask you, I'm sorry to interrupt, but what is the mood in British Columbia right now? I know we
00:41:25.280own always travel in our own bubbles and we hear our own people talking back at us quite a lot.
00:41:30.520And, you know, this show, thousands of people will watch this show and they are all of the same
00:41:36.420mind but what is the average normie let's call them out there in british columbia thinking about
00:41:42.280all of this are they paying attention at all i think that unfortunately because the the the main
00:41:50.740the the media are extremely left-wing so like all these tyrannical bills that are getting pushed
00:41:57.540through people have no idea about them because the media won't say a word and and so unfortunately
00:42:04.620it is still the the legacy media that control public opinion and hide the creeping tyranny
00:42:13.540from the public so they are blissfully unaware that they are losing their freedoms one after
00:42:19.220the other that's insane what about you steven have you noticed any any people like wanting to
00:42:28.280rise up well and i before let me preface that by saying i would just say take notice but again as i
00:42:37.380as i mentioned the idea of being alert seems to be lacking in our society as well as any real
00:42:42.540knowledge you know people can own their people only dig very shallowly and uh so when you ask
00:42:49.020people a question really they can't go more than three questions deep into any topic but
00:42:54.180If you drive down our street, you'll see a lot of NDP signs and go like, how is that possible?
00:43:00.140Because we all know the NDP essentially sort of, I would say, bolstered up the liberals and all they've done in the last year is to destroy our country.
00:43:10.440I mean, how could you vote for the NDP?
00:43:12.460Did you see Singh in the debate tonight?
00:48:10.880I'm a strategist from the get-go shadow.
00:48:13.600I've always believed that if you're going to make an impact, it's going to be within writing the legislation itself.
00:48:18.520Because as much as we've been involved in activism and the different initiatives that we've had that are very purposeful and were very effective to the best of our ability with the resources that we had, really to make that impact, you have to be able to have a say in the legislation because all of the institutions within the provinces across Canada get in line with what's written in those policies.
00:48:40.120And when people understand that, you have to have a majority government that has scruples and actually cares to change the policies, repeal the bad bills, make sure we start working with industry, move forward, take care of people's mental health, get people off the drugs, give them alternatives, mental health, all these other issues.
00:49:00.080And yes, we do need, you know, consequences for criminals, man.
00:49:56.640they now are saying that they actually want to kill a police officer but why is that there's
00:50:01.320no consequences so what we need is we need to change policies we need to make sure that criminals
00:50:06.400go to jail stay locked up clean up our streets make it safe for our citizens are these people
00:50:11.720are these people addicted are they like as you say what would you call them street urchins or
00:50:16.940whatever yeah street urchins i mean like they're just they're the element yeah but is it the drug
00:50:24.560thing i mean is this going on in the hastings downtown in vancouver is this all over the place
00:50:29.460i'm i understand that there's vending machines in british columbia that you anybody can go to
00:50:35.340and get like a crack pipe and heroin and crack they used to be outside of the hospitals but i
00:50:41.600think they've removed them as far as i know yeah so that because they had a lot of the you know
00:50:45.760people the uh safe drug suppliers safer supply which is kind of interesting the uh misnomer
00:50:52.400Our social supply was allowing drug addicts to be harbored in the hospitals, taking up rooms for four people by themselves, with the nurses being forced to assemble their crack pipes for them and go get them their money and stuff like that.
00:51:08.380There was all sorts of stuff going on.
00:51:09.640You see, is the Wild West in a way, a Canadian Wild West.
00:51:14.060There are no guns, but it's pretty crazy out here and it's getting crazier.
00:51:20.100what's the infant act who wants to take that one that's huge marcella i don't know who has the best
00:51:28.140uh i like that's that's something carrie's really going to tackle and michelle is going to
00:51:32.940i think charles i think charles knows quite a bit about the infant act he can tell no i'm not the
00:51:37.380person to talk about the okay so well just for starters a child can make a decision for itself
00:51:42.740medically so like if it wants to take a vaccine it doesn't need parental uh consent um children
00:51:49.780children yeah can can actually so like okay if your child is going to go on a skiing field trip
00:51:58.620for example or horseback field trip with its school you have to get a consent letter filled
00:52:02.940out from parents however your child can get a vaccine at school and not have to have parental
00:52:09.780consent now if your child wants to start using hormone blockers under this infant act it is
00:52:15.680um like a confidence thing between you and your uh what are they counselor counselor and things
00:52:25.540like that well so that that stays between you and your teachers and your counselors at school and
00:52:31.820doesn't reach the kitchen table of the parents so like if your child let's say 10 years or younger
00:52:38.280is identifying as the opposite sex in school and you know james is now jill or whatever
00:52:44.820um that's that's their secret right so that's that's how and and if they want to do hormone
00:52:51.600blockers and take it that step farther and start working on transitioning um that's it gives them
00:52:57.740the authority to make these decisions and it actually removes the authority from parents
00:53:01.780from intervening in in counseling their own children to what about surgery did you list
00:53:07.000surgery in in that list that you just the surgery too right so a 13 year old can go and say i want
00:53:14.080to have my my junk taken off yeah what happens i'll tell you something i was watching cpac today
00:53:22.200uh which was happening in our our legislature and um i believe it was tara armstrong she's one of the0.85
00:53:28.880um renegades that was that left the conservative party and she actually stood up and she was
00:53:35.200specifically talking about a dr wallace wong who is a um when i worked with him when i worked at
00:53:42.700the Ministry of Children and Family Development. He was a child and youth mental health worker,
00:53:47.240and he is now one of the doctors in our province that is hugely pushing the gender-affirming care.
00:53:54.120And over 1,000 of the kids that he has pushed into this surgery are children that are in government
00:53:59.860care, as young as a three-year-old. And he's actively promoting it and applauding himself
00:54:07.260and thinking this is great news. But I just pulled up a little bit of information on the
00:54:11.160Infant Act. Some of the key criticisms with it are it undermines parental rights and
00:54:15.960responsibilities. Are there any real parental rights in Canada, though? I mean, I've heard
00:54:23.080MPs and actual lawyers say, no, there's no parental rights in Canada. Criminals have more
00:54:28.460rights than parents have. Yeah, that's how it sounds. Anyway, go ahead. Yeah. So there's a1.00
00:54:33.440lack of a minimum age. So like a child under 19 can, um, say yes to gender affirming care without
00:54:41.420having their parents know they can seek mental health treatment without parental knowledge.
00:54:46.960Um, you know, there's like the erosion of informed consent standards happen here,
00:54:52.320like psychiatric medications, gender affirming interventions, um, potential for external
00:54:59.620influences so minors could be influenced by peers and online communities um and there's no
00:55:05.320notification or no requirement to notify parents there's no legal obligation to inform parents even
00:55:11.140after they receive treatment you know what's great when you're on a show and you've got a couple of
00:55:18.080doctors on with you and you can ask them what they think about this stuff and not get censored by
00:55:24.980any of the social media platforms you're on because we've got doctors hello youtube algorithms
00:55:32.220these are doctors these guys know their stuff puberty blockers gentlemen and cross-sex hormones
00:55:39.760are they reversible in your medical opinion well you know puberty if if you block puberty
00:55:46.720on somebody they will probably be permanently sterile in other words they will definitely
00:55:54.580have their fertility either substantially reduced or destroyed. So they will never be able to be a0.75
00:56:00.760biological parent. If they, 10 years later, decide that it was just a teenage fad that they're going
00:56:06.300through and they've changed their mind, and they now want to have a family, they're done for. They
00:56:11.440can't. So that is the tragedy of this, is that, you know, it's not an unusual thing for girls to
00:56:19.380want to climb trees and play with trucks and boys to maybe be more interested in things that
00:56:27.380wouldn't be considered manly. And yet they work through that and sort themselves out as they get
00:56:33.640older. But if you give somebody who is gender confused hormones, you literally lock them in0.98
00:56:40.520because you increase those feelings that they are the other gender by the hormones. And so you
00:56:47.680literally trap them in this so that they can't go back to normal. And there's also just a window
00:56:54.000where, you know, going through puberty is like a window of time. And if you block that, then that
00:56:59.380window is gone. So yeah, no, it's permanent effects. And of course, surgery, the next step
00:57:04.500is obviously permanent, you know, unless you have some kind of, let's say, cosmetic repair
00:57:13.380of what you've had done, but yeah, no, it's very important, but I think this is, this is something
00:57:17.660that Charles talked about earlier about, you know, you're a man or you're a woman, but
00:57:20.380this is really not an issue of, of whether you're transgender or not. It's, I mean, if you, whatever
00:57:26.300your sexual, um, you know, proclivities are, that's up to you when you're, when you're an
00:57:32.040adult that can make an informed decision, but these are little children, you know, these are
00:57:36.500kids. I mean, uh, uh, Marcella was talking about, uh, this, uh, Dr. Wong and the three-year-old,
00:57:41.040But they're, you know, these kids are like starting at age nine or seven or, you know, the, yeah, well, they've been, people are, they're getting, how are they socially manipulated into thinking in a certain way?
00:57:54.160And this is what this, this sort of, this is all about, right?0.81
00:57:57.000It's social manipulation to create, I think, androgynous infertility will be the end result here.0.97
00:59:00.820When and how can we step up against the government from removing our children and placing them into these institutions under government care where the parent has no say?
00:59:13.000In BC right now, there was an Amber Alert a few weeks ago.
00:59:16.220It's for a father who took his child out to the park.
00:59:19.660There was not an Amber Alert a week ago for a child missing in Surrey, but they used it because the one kid was in government care.
00:59:27.280But when you look at that situation, you had him on, Davis?
00:59:29.720yeah davis limb i mean he was on last week last week a week ago tonight and you know what's
00:59:35.400interesting because james you were talking about the cops uh being set on fire and and all of that
00:59:40.780stuff and i thought okay that's an interesting contrast from what we saw when they attacked
00:59:46.300literally attacked davis limb and he was on i think three days or four days after that attack
00:59:53.520they beat the snot out of him he comes on the show he's in one of the boxes like you guys are
01:00:00.020and he's kind of holding his face like this and i said why are you doing that he said well look
01:00:04.260this is what they did to me and it was this massive gash down the right side of his face
01:00:08.320and i went what the hell we showed the video of what they did and i went wow this is all because
01:00:15.320a man wants his son back and because he disagreed with medical advice that they took him away
01:00:22.840you know this is actually interesting with the doctors here what do you guys think of that i
01:00:28.780mean are you familiar with davis's case yes i well i am somewhat i have i have met him um
01:00:36.720we need to decide who the parent is just as you know what we've seen with this pandemic
01:00:46.300where the government censored freedom of speech
01:00:51.040and told everyone they needed this medical treatment,
01:00:54.680you know, which they disguised as a vaccine.
01:00:58.340I mean, firstly, with medical treatments,
01:00:59.940it's never appropriate that everybody has to have the same treatment.
01:01:03.400It is never, ever appropriate with any medical treatment.
01:01:07.360But it comes, I mean, so with those COVID mandates,
01:02:06.960this is this is the lead up to why it's so important for bc to rise up now because you
01:02:11.380think if they do come out with the next um emergency you know with the bills like they
01:02:18.360have in place now with bill 7 bill 21 and bill 36 how many how many of you might have thought
01:02:25.820to yourselves that one day you would have the military knocking on your door demanding that
01:02:31.460you know you got to be up to date with your covid shots and you haven't done it but now we're going
01:02:36.100to force you to or we're going to take you away. Those thoughts crossed my mind. And where we're
01:02:41.720headed to with this type of legislation, there isn't going to be a say and there's only going
01:02:46.320to be one voice heard. And that voice has proven already that it will stop at nothing to get what
01:02:53.700it wants. They want to control your family. They want to control what you put in your body. They
01:02:59.880want to control what you eat. They spray everything with glyphosate. They have all these chemtrails
01:03:04.480in the air um you know everything is unhealthy they want you on drugs that keep you imbalanced
01:03:11.600chemically imbalanced and if you ever get off of those drugs then you're gonna really be chemically
01:03:16.600imbalanced trying to you know get back to normal or whatever there's a lot of there's a lot of
01:03:23.080wrong right now and it truly is it's evil you know so when is the big rally again it's a couple of0.80
01:03:32.520weeks? Yeah, it's coming up in a couple of weeks after this weekend, I guess. So May 3rd, you know,
01:03:39.520it's going to be a phenomenal rally. You know, the two doctors here, and they joined us with
01:03:45.880several other doctors, but we also had, why can't I think of his name now? Our MLA that became the
01:03:56.840Conservative Party, John Rostad. John Rostad, he was just a, he was just a independent MLA. And we
01:04:03.380kind of brought him to the forefront of the freedom movement with this rally. And that's
01:04:08.640exactly what we're trying to do right now with BC Strong. We need governance that actually is
01:04:13.240going to be accountable to the people to make decisions based off of what the people are asking
01:04:17.580and saying. You know, we have to be that difference, that line in the sand. And as you were
01:04:23.960asking are we going to have people running i'm not too sure to be honest i mean people right now
01:04:28.140they're still going through different uh law processes over their little battles with what
01:04:32.900happened with the conservative party we might end up getting a lot of people who do shift from what
01:04:38.200they were doing for the conservative party of british columbia over to us or perhaps there
01:04:42.780might be a new party that's invented these three uh independent mlas they could form their own
01:04:48.020party right now and have party status or they could join us if they like to we've already
01:04:51.880extended our invitation um you know i've talked to both steven and dr hoff i would love for them to
01:04:58.120be on the board of this party because first of all if you're going to have a grassroots party
01:05:02.780you better make sure that your board isn't going to be corrupted by career politicians or people
01:05:07.240who simply don't have the same value system you have and will do the right thing for the party
01:05:11.500first and not their egos or to serve other people they have to serve they have to serve the public
01:05:16.020of BC. So I'm trying to put a board together. I'm trying to do something that's going to
01:05:21.120be a legacy to this province. And, you know, hopefully it will outlive me. So for what it's
01:05:27.520worth, we're going to have this rally in front of Nikki Sharma's constituency office. You know,
01:05:32.260a lot like what we did with the David Eby rally. It was a real success. People came from all over
01:05:36.620BC. So rise up BC. This is the time. The time is now. It's now or never. We've got a great list
01:05:43.420of speakers there's going to be steven maltose dr charles hoff we're going to have carrie simpson
01:05:48.120speaking there michelle riddle is going to be speaking i am you're going to have carrie oh my0.97
01:05:52.520god that's like a force of nature she is she's a wonderful uh fighter and you got to admire that0.85
01:05:59.180you know she's like you guys hear about the ostrich thing at all like was there any news
01:06:02.840that came out about the ostriches i i thought something might have happened today no that
01:06:07.120uh i don't know about today i know they they finished up yesterday um with the two days of
01:06:12.260of um the judicial review and uh but i haven't heard anything come down well katie and her mom
01:06:19.100were driving back to the uh to the farm today from court and she didn't they were both smiling
01:06:25.020this was a facebook post or instagram a couple of hours ago they were both really smiling in
01:06:30.500the photo that they took when they posted it and i thought well they wouldn't be so happy
01:06:35.280if they didn't normally we'd get news of that but uh yeah again that was very difficult to watch
01:06:41.800those proceedings. Because unlike a regular court where you thought someone could jump up and
01:06:46.360say, I object to that, because that's complete fabrication, they kind of had to sit and take it0.89
01:06:51.360when the CHIA lawyer was kind of just spilling it out there, much of which we know is untrue,
01:06:59.520particularly from a medical or science perspective. How involved are you doctors
01:07:04.920in your communities i mean charles you the emergency room doctor for 30 years
01:07:10.780for goodness sakes you in the same community linton right in the same community yeah so i'm
01:07:16.060just a family doctor um you know we had a bad fire here um in 2021 and so my medical practice
01:07:23.000went up in smoke so i just work from home um i have patients come and knock on my door and i
01:07:29.440stitch them up and uh because the emergency room got burned the emergency room that i was fired
01:07:34.540from was burned to the ground two months later um in in that little teacher
01:07:39.400so so i yeah i'm still in the same community um i do yeah i do borrow some clinic space from one
01:07:49.700of the local indian bands that gives me a couple of rooms that i can use when i want to um but i
01:07:55.360i'm just a very um grassroots i do home visits on my elderly or disabled patients um my
01:08:04.480My patients all have my cell phone number. So when they've got a problem, they just call me.
01:08:09.560So I try to make myself accessible for those that need care.
01:08:16.000You know what I find interesting? All of the doctors and all of the lawyers and, you know, all of the professionals that I've had on this show over the past four or five years, they're all the best people.
01:08:27.100They all go that extra mile. They're all so involved in their communities and they're the ones who have been picked on the most.
01:08:34.480And it just seems to me like so surreal that when you look at this other side, you go, how can you how can you even look at yourself in the mirror?
01:08:44.340Some of these people and things in the things they're doing, like with Chris Barber now, they want to seize his big red.
01:08:50.740They want to take it from him and throw him into merit and jail for a couple of years.
01:08:55.460Stephen, what about you? Like how involved in that? Are you ever going to be like a licensed practicing doctor again?
01:09:00.820do you want to? Well, you know, I retired to take a sabbatical at the end of 2019 and along came
01:09:07.840COVID. So that allowed me to spend a lot of time looking at the information data and coming out
01:09:14.340with some conclusions which didn't match public health. So on my island, so I had kind of, I
01:09:19.740wouldn't intend to come back to work, but I kind of ended up in a semi-retirement position. And
01:09:23.760And then they suspended my license in 2022, March 2022, because I traveled with Charles
01:09:31.240Hoff and Kerry Simpson, and we talked too much, spreading too much misinformation.
01:09:47.000You know, some kids just wanted to play hockey, right?
01:09:48.860Let me ask you this. As a doctor writing an exemption, when you write that, does that have to be followed legally by anybody who sees it? Hey, look, I got myself an exemption. I don't need to.
01:10:01.960It varies. It varies. In some cases, it works. In other cases, it doesn't work. It depends on the employer a lot of the times. And also, I did get some calls from Air Canada and stuff like that kind of questioning my exemptions and so on like that.
01:10:18.120So it really it really depends. I need to get the both. I'm sorry to interrupt you. I need to get the both of you on another episode so we can talk about everything that's happened, because, you know, there's so many people who, you know, and Stephen, I said this to you a year ago and I want to get you guys on.
01:10:38.120we can have a real good discussion about everything that's happened um and where we go from here and
01:10:44.860yeah i you know actually i think i i saw you dr hoff on maybe it was rebel or or juno news a few
01:10:50.520months ago when you first gotten the decision um and you had your license and and every they were
01:10:57.540off your back and you seemed so relieved and so genuinely happy to have all of this behind you
01:11:05.220is everything behind you now? Well, no, because we've still got this HPOA, which hangs over us
01:11:13.740where at any time they can tell me that I've spoken misinformation because I've said something
01:11:20.640they don't agree with. And I can end up with the $500,000 fine and a jail sentence. So yes,
01:11:27.500they dropped all the charges. They said I was a spreader of misinformation, but three years later,
01:11:33.680So they changed their mind that it wasn't misinformation and dropped everything, which shows how absurdly arbitrary this whole idea of misinformation is.
01:13:40.440Like, what would you say to British Columbians right now that there's an opportunity for them to be involved?
01:13:46.440What I would say to British Columbians who believe that there's something wrong.
01:13:53.400and this is something that i say quite frequently here on the show people are waking up every day
01:13:59.700right and they're going there's something wrong i don't know what it is but there's something
01:14:06.400wrong they can't quite put their finger on it and so when somebody like that wakes up
01:14:13.320like that i always say here look at this whatever piece of information that i have and it's
01:14:20.120Generally speaking, when you're trying to bring a person like that into reality, you got to do it slowly and gently, almost like you're trying to feed a deer who's just walked out of the forest.
01:14:34.100If you make any sudden moves or you're too loud, they're going to run away.
01:14:38.600They're going to go the other way and they're going to go right back into the matrix.
01:14:41.040And so you get somebody who is sniffing it around. You give them some small information first. And then maybe if they ask for some more information the next day or next week, you give it to them then. And then hopefully they dive down their own rabbit hole and discover.
01:14:56.940I mean, Marcella, you were at the event in Manitoba last June, and so many people were there that I didn't recognize, and I went, wow, this is a good thing.
01:15:11.160I mean, if you're trying to bring somebody out to a rally, right, a political rally, and they're, I don't know about that, but you've been saying to yourself there's something wrong.
01:15:23.060Just come out and see what these folks have to say.
01:15:25.080They're real people. They're just like you and me. They're not evil. They're not goblins. They're not monsters. Just come on out and hear what they have to say. And so that's what I would urge everybody watching right now in B.C. to do with their friends. Just say, hey, look, I want to go to this rally on May the 7th down in Vancouver. Let's go.
01:15:44.480May the 3rd, sorry, I got it wrong. I say, so like, why don't you come with me? I don't want
01:15:51.780to go. No, come on. You've been asking yourself, let's go and check this out and see what it's
01:15:55.240all about. And that way you can kind of bring in those people and just have conversations,
01:16:00.620just keep having conversations. I haven't been to BC in a few years, I'll be honest. But
01:16:06.240when I was out there the last time it was like, oh my God, this place is woke. This place is
01:16:12.700really woke so you guys have got an uphill battle on your hands maybe not so much in more rural
01:16:19.340areas um outside of the lower mainland or the island for god's sakes i mean the island's bad
01:16:25.600enough too but in those areas i think that conversations need to start happening because
01:16:32.240not everybody is under that spell so it's just a matter of talking and and you know like dr
01:16:38.140Hoff is saying, and Dr. Malthouse, for that matter. I mean, we have to be able to speak
01:16:43.340freely, honestly, and openly with our friends and family, right? But, and maybe I'll go around the
01:16:50.900table here with you guys. Do you feel that when you talk about this stuff today, let's start with
01:16:55.800you, Stephen. It's like going back 20 years and saying you saw a UFO. Another person's looking at
01:17:03.600going are you freaking crazy you believe in truth and justice and freedom like how does it feel when
01:17:10.960you try to have a conversation like this yeah well i think we've all had the experience of trying to0.96
01:17:16.880download information to people that don't really want to hear it you know because there's so much
01:17:20.640to do with people wanting safety and that actually is something which isn't isn't dealt with with the
01:17:27.040the cortex of the brain it's dealt with the more primitive brain to defend you know defend yourself
01:17:32.160in situations of danger. So I think what we've learned to do, at least some of us have learned
01:17:37.240to speak to people like you're speaking to their subconscious, not that you're talking to their
01:17:42.060intellect. Because when people, you know, your subconscious, this part of your brain works very
01:17:49.000fast, it's to protect you. And so it's, and it's very sensitive to all sorts of things around,
01:17:54.320picking up all sorts of information all the time. So I think we've had to learn to be able to speak
01:18:00.040to people on a level that they can't, that will go in. And the other one is be patient because
01:18:06.600you're not going to be able to get people to go from A to Z in a short period of time. It's not
01:18:12.620possible. So just, I think I agree with what you said, give them one little question and then sit
01:18:17.780it out for a while. And then if they, if they're really interested, next time you see them, they
01:18:21.080might ask you something. That's probably your best way. What about you, Charles? What do you
01:18:25.940think yeah i think the key is to try and wean people away from their dependence on the left-wing
01:18:35.100corporate media as their supplier of truth they have to and and i i you know what i try to do is
01:18:42.540we've got to ask questions that so doubt on the credibility of the of the the media because the
01:18:49.080media is the problem. That is how people were deceived. And so the trouble is people want to
01:18:57.260be able to trust the media and they want to be able to trust the government. And for some people
01:19:02.620to realize that these public health and the government and the media are not trustworthy
01:19:09.280is something that they just don't want to accept. It doesn't. And that's the. So I agree. You've got
01:19:15.600drip feed them with little bits of information that slowly make them doubt that these and the
01:19:24.020trouble is when people want they they need it makes them feel safe to believe that these big
01:19:30.080parent figures are looking after them and telling them the truth that they it gives them a feeling
01:19:38.500of safety and security and so you take away that security blanket when you show when you tell them
01:19:44.520that these so-called trustworthy organizations are not trustworthy so that's the trend that is
01:19:51.860the challenge to wean them from that trust that's not easy right that's like getting somebody to
01:19:58.920vote conservative when they voted liberal all their lives and you know back in my radio days
01:20:03.600we used to talk about this you know if it was a brand new radio station starting out fresh
01:20:08.620people would give you a chance maybe 10 minutes one day they'll listen to you i don't know if i
01:20:12.900like it or not i'm not going to stick around we would sit in in offices for days on end and we
01:20:19.260would talk about ways that we can get people to change their listening habits from what they've
01:20:23.460been listening to their entire lives you know how hard that is it's it's that's the the task that
01:20:31.960we're all faced with but i'm happy to tell you that the audience of this show has been growing
01:20:37.640And I'm not sure if you guys have noticed any changes in the mood out there in British Columbia.
01:20:43.580I certainly hope you have, where people are more open and receptive.
01:20:47.400But what I'm seeing here is that we're still growing.
01:20:50.700And people out there are more willing to listen now than ever before, I'm thinking.
01:20:55.600With everything that's happened in the last five years, how could they not be?
01:20:59.400I want to thank all of you guys for coming on tonight.
01:21:01.900And is there anything that we forgot to get on, James and Marcella?
