00:09:24.240A lot of people have been asking me, what do you think about Mark Carney?
00:09:27.920And so I thought I would let everyone know what I think about Mark Carney,
00:09:30.860starting off with the fact that he's been Justin Trudeau's economic advisor for the past five years.
00:09:36.440So he's part of the disastrous mess that has been created by the Liberals in terms of the inflation, the increased cost of everything.
00:09:45.360And so I don't see that he is going to bring any change at all.
00:09:48.820And when you look at who he has appointed as his chief of staff, Marco Mendocino.
00:09:55.660I mean, Marco Mendocino was kicked out of cabinet for all of the lies that he told when he said that the police requested they enact the Emergency Measures Act.
00:10:04.760And the police clearly said they did not.
00:10:07.120And when he said he didn't know anything about Paul Bernardo being transferred to a medium security prison,
00:10:12.480and that turned out not to be true either.
00:10:14.800And then the transition team for Mark Carney, he picked David Lamedi.
00:10:19.580David Lamedi was the minister in the middle of the SNC-Lavalin scandal
00:10:23.680that got the get-out-of-jail-free card for SNC-Lavalin in the corruption case.
00:10:29.940So this is really bad judgment, you know, in any case.
00:10:34.500And it doesn't speak well of the integrity of the government.
00:10:38.240But what we know about Mark Carney is that he wouldn't disclose all of his assets in Brookfield.
00:10:43.620He lied several times during the campaign leadership race.
00:10:48.440He said that he had nothing to do with the Brookfield move from Canada to the U.S., that he was not involved.
00:10:57.480And clearly minutes were produced where he chaired meetings, where he voted in favor of the move.
00:11:02.440And he wrote letters to the shareholders.
00:11:04.500to get them to support the move of the head office from Canada to the U.S.
00:11:09.840How does that inspire confidence that he cares about Canada at all?
00:11:14.180Nothing says, you know, I think Canada is a great place to invest,
00:11:17.760like moving your head office to the U.S.
00:11:20.200So, you know, there's nothing but concerns when it comes to Mark Carney.
00:16:23.360You know, each MP that comes to this hill is looking at making life better for their constituents, looking to make partnerships, work with the government, work with other people to, you know, make things happen in their riding.
00:16:37.920Whether it's housing, whether it's businesses, whether it's, you know, a whole plethora of different things that MPs come to this house for.
00:16:45.000And there comes a time when we need to say, are we doing this seriously?
00:16:51.500And how do we get through those obstacles?
00:16:53.480And I think in this particular case, Marilyn made the right decision today on joining the Liberals.
00:16:57.660I wanted to pick up on something that Pierre-Paul Levin mentioned about her going back to voters to seek another mandate.
00:17:04.740In January, after you crossed the floor and Michael Ma also did the same thing,
00:17:08.580she told a local news outlet in her writing that she supported a petition which calls for a by-election after an MP decides to cross the floor.
00:17:16.220Do you feel that she needs to explain that now to her constituents?
00:17:19.220Well, I think there's some things she's going to have to speak to.
00:17:22.700You know, she's been a well-founded member of this hill since 2015.
00:17:27.820You know, she's had a number of different mandates.
00:17:30.360She's probably said lots of different things.
00:17:32.200I've said lots of different things since I showed up here in 2019 and going back to my time as a member of the legislature in Nova Scotia.
00:17:39.220You know, but I think we need to look at what's happening right now.
00:18:11.900Exactly what the hell is going on here?
00:18:13.700Like I said, you don't wake up one day and become a liberal and start thinking that Mark Carney is God's gift and he's going to bring world peace somehow.
00:18:21.660I mean, that's absolutely ludicrous, considering the fact that he is the prime minister of Canada.
00:18:27.680A middle power at best, at best, I say.
00:18:33.400Here is a tweet from Pierre Poly of today.
00:18:36.880I didn't catch any video of Pierre all day long saying anything about this, which I thought was odd.
00:18:41.900mark carney is seizing a costly liberal majority that voters denied him and doing so through
00:18:47.980backroom deals in january mp glider who said that floor crossers should face voters in a
00:18:52.500by-election to give voters the final say i could not agree more she should do so the people in her
00:18:58.760community voted for our conservative vision of a canada that's affordable safe and strong at home
00:19:03.540not for the costly liberal government she is now joined she should honor her word and let voters
00:19:09.940decide i i agree and if you want to see i've got the the petition here on petrolia lambton
00:19:20.740independent.ca she actually backed the petition starting a lambton book janking mp maryland
00:19:27.140gladu backing a call to hold automatic by elections when a member of parliament defects to another
00:19:32.220party. Middlesex London MP Leanne Rood is sponsoring a petition calling for the move.
00:19:40.220The petition says unrestricted floor crossing can erode voter trust amid rising political
00:19:45.440corruption and scandals and that voters deserve immediate accountability when an MP switches to
00:19:51.420another party midterm, potentially altering Parliament's balance without endorsement.
00:19:56.560this is from january 11th as you can see on your screen leading up to christmas two conservative
00:20:04.840mps michael ma chris dutremont moved from the conservatives to the liberals prime minister
00:20:09.000mark carney now needs one more mp now this has changed back and forth up and down for the last
00:20:15.260couple of months but there are two by elections coming up in the next couple of weeks two in the
00:20:21.700Toronto area and one in Dutremont, Quebec. Now, that one in Dutremont may be a block win,
00:20:28.660but the two in the Toronto area will definitely be liberal wins. That will move them to 173 seats
00:20:35.360in the House of Commons, giving them a very slim majority government. What will Canadians do about
00:20:41.260this? Anything? This has never been, never happened in the history of our country.
00:20:51.700Even with all the floor crossers of the past, there has never been a situation where a number
00:20:58.300of floor crossers have crossed the floor in a period of two or three months, giving one party
00:21:04.520the balance of power in the House of Commons. That has never happened in the history of our country.
00:21:11.120Isn't that amazing? Underhanded, weaselly, Mark Carney should have to answer to the people of
00:21:19.260this country but he won't because they don't care he's got his majority now it's a slim one
00:21:26.540if one of the liberals dies or gets sick and can't vote in a very important bill well then they'll
00:21:36.260fall but this is just snaky to me man this is larissa waller was on ctv today she is a
00:21:47.420conservative strategist. And here's what she had to say.
00:21:51.160The question is, should you do that? Should Mark Carney be able to secure a majority
00:21:55.900not through the will of the people, not through a mandate from the people? Should he be able to
00:22:00.560do that by people taking advantage of a loophole in our parliamentary system? A loophole I'll bring
00:22:06.300up that Marilyn Gladden started a petition in January to force a by-election for people who
00:22:12.000cross the floor so is she going to voluntarily resign and run as a liberal
00:22:17.340in a by-election because that's what she said she would have done two months ago
00:22:20.100is she gonna do that again well there isn't a by-election you think there
00:22:23.760should be you know what I think there should be I think if you cross the floor
00:22:27.780there should be a by-election Marilyn Gladue two months ago said there should
00:22:31.620be so well she said that again I doubt it and and if your data is correct which
00:22:36.300I'm not doubting that 80% of people who vote in a federal election are actually
00:22:39.540voting for a leader. How do you think the people of Sarnia-Lambton would vote
00:22:42.300if they were put to a vote? Yeah and honestly it's actually higher than that
00:22:46.680and then this is you know into the theory of political science of what
00:22:49.740determines somebody's vote. I would imagine that people would vote
00:22:53.280overwhelmingly for the Conservative Party. It is a very conservative riding. It is
00:22:58.020historically a conservative riding. It's provincially a conservative riding. The
00:23:02.100people who live in Sarnia-Lambton tend to vote conservative. I think they will
00:23:05.980be very upset that Marilyn Gladue has abandoned her value system and that she basically is telling
00:23:13.140that their vote didn't matter. She is now a liberal, sitting as a liberal, voting as a liberal.
00:23:18.160And, you know, I have a lot of liberal friends who today are wondering, are we now a pro-life
00:23:25.080party? Do we have to have room for all of these different positions in our party that yesterday
00:23:30.360we didn't do we have to have room for people who actually believe that abortion is martyr
00:23:37.720hmm i don't know if i can tolerate that of course they can't tolerate it but they're told to
00:23:45.720tolerate it if they want to keep their jobs their high-paying jobs remember their salaries went up
00:23:50.040on april 1st here's my theory about this and there are two of them that everything that happened
00:23:57.120today is above board and marilyn gladu is very glad very happy to be a new member of the government
00:24:06.780caucus i don't know how that could ever be now the other theory is that and this is going to
00:24:19.980seem a little bit out there you guys so so stay with me on this maryland gladu apparently oh
00:24:27.900there's one more video that you guys need to see from that kid from winnipeg what's his name max
00:24:32.460genest i want to play this before i give you my opinion on what's going on you know he's a young
00:24:39.360guy but for a young guy he he puts a lot of stuff together here he is this is wild breaking news in
00:24:45.240Canadian politics. So a Conservative Member of Parliament, Marilyn Gladue, has crossed the floor
00:24:50.080and joined the Liberals. That makes her the fifth Member of Parliament to do this. And honestly,
00:24:55.460she's not who you expect. Gladue has been known as one of the more socially conservative MPs in
00:25:02.060the Conservative Party, and she represents a writing in Ontario that is consistently very
00:25:08.040conservative. So at first glance, this move doesn't really add up at all. If you look at her track
00:25:14.140record, it leans pretty clearly in that direction. She opposed marijuana legalization, supported
00:25:20.140using military to deal with pipeline protests, backed alternative COVID treatments, and voted
00:25:25.960against Bill C-6, which aimed to ban conversion therapy. And her writing? Well, the liberals
00:25:32.560haven't done well there for a very long time. They've been stuck in third place pretty much
00:25:37.160every single election, 2011, 2015, 2019, 2021, and only got to second place in 2025. The best
00:25:45.120they've ever done was about 38% back in 2004. So why make this move? What explains Gladue's
00:25:51.880decision? Well, sources from her own writing suggest this isn't as shocking as it looks.
00:25:56.880Apparently, she's always been kind of a fiscal liberal and also a social conservative. But
00:26:02.260since the conservatives don't really push social issues anyway, that side of things was not really
00:26:08.460going anywhere. And on top of that, she's not running again, and she has already moved out of
00:26:12.600a riding. So if you're in her position, you might look at it like there's not really a big difference
00:26:18.180between the Carney liberals and the Polyev conservatives right now. So why sit in the
00:26:23.220opposition with no influence when you can be a part of the government? But zooming out, this is
00:26:28.140a bigger problem for the conservatives. If Polyev's MPs are defecting because his party
00:26:33.220fails to be socially conservative, it's not just more bad media cycles. It is a serious
00:26:38.520long-term issue for the party. Okay, let me ask you guys a question. Do you think that
00:26:44.220the conservative party is in shambles right now? It's in ruins. And that these MPs are
00:26:52.320leaving because Pierre Polyev is an authoritarian or he can never win or he's a bad leader or
00:26:57.060whatever the reason is. Do you think the conservative party is in very bad shape right
00:27:02.160now? Remember, they still have 140 MPs in there. So it's not small. I don't think it is. I don't
00:27:10.260think it is at all. So here's my theory. Marilyn Gladue was a big part of the conservative party.
00:27:20.000She sat in the front benches. She was a shadow minister in a couple of different ministries,
00:27:25.260actually. A couple of different files, as they say. But front bench. She was very vocal in the
00:27:33.140House of Commons. She was very vocal on social media. She was very vocal with the left-wing
00:27:37.520corporate media. And she wasn't talking about things that were just basic and bland. She was
00:27:43.400talking about, well, as you saw, the government evoked the Emergencies Act. And that broke the
00:27:51.560law, that broke the charter, and she wasn't shy to say it at all. She was talking about the Freedom
00:27:57.380Convoy. She's talked about the Freedom Convoy in support in the past. So this is a theory that I'm
00:28:06.020thinking about right now. I haven't fully committed to it yet, but Polyev knows that the liberals are
00:28:12.420going to get their majority anyway. Now, if another one crosses the floor, then this theory is out the
00:28:18.240window. But like I say, Paulyev knows that the liberals are going to get their majority anyway
00:28:22.560through these by-elections. So what's one more MP? What's it matter? And remember that none of the
00:28:28.840party seemed to know any of this was going on until it was announced this morning, which is
00:28:35.320shocking because Gladue has got a lot of relationships in the conservative party. It
00:28:40.500would be very difficult to keep this quiet, very, very quiet for any kind of period of time,
00:28:46.240Even if it's only a couple of days, somebody would talk.
00:28:56.260Maybe she's Luca Bratsi from The Godfather.
00:29:01.280Maybe Paliyev thought, hmm, if we send a high profile over there,
00:29:08.440they're going to go, ha, we've got them now.
00:29:12.360it's going to give them their majority and as a high-profile conservative mp it's going to break
00:29:17.100their spirit so if polyev says maryland if you're not running anyway why don't you go join the
00:29:22.620liberals and then report back to us on everything they're doing everything they're planning everything
00:29:27.740they're plotting everything they're scheming the entire thing the liberal convention is this
00:29:32.480weekend in montreal so carney's got to be there and the bilderberg meetings in washington by the
00:29:37.340way which we're going to get to a little bit later on in the show so is she a plant
00:29:42.800do you think the liberals think that she might be a plant
00:29:48.420i don't know i mean shady things go on in politics all the time you guys and
00:29:55.580it's not about us that's one thing that i can tell you wholeheartedly it's not about us
00:30:03.200some people have said well glad who felt she was underused in the conservative caucus she wasn't
00:30:09.620being put out front enough by polyev and that made her upset and that made her want to leave
00:30:17.380where she could be more useful to the government that doesn't seem to make sense to me unless you
00:30:23.460have made politics your job your career and you want to climb up the political chain i've done it
00:30:31.000radio in the past in order to get a better time slot a more high profile time slot i crossed the
00:30:36.760street went from one radio station to another but this is different because in this case you're
00:30:42.660representing people and you're representing certain values and ideas but it's possible
00:30:52.960i'm just throwing it out there i'm not saying that it's it's absolutely i'm convinced of it
00:30:58.640but it just seemed to me that there were no cracks in the conservative party in the last
00:31:04.720couple of weeks and polyev has done a couple of smoking interviews and again here i am not talking
00:31:09.700about pierre polyev being the savior but he's done a couple of smoking interviews on diary of a ceo
00:31:15.960from europe last week and then of course joe rogan so he's doing the right things i'm not sure what
00:31:21.840the polling is and maybe they are a unit party and maybe i'm just blowing smoke i don't know
00:31:26.980but it seems like in this case anyhow there's definitely more to it yes i know remote viewer
00:31:34.840polyev was on the world economic forum website as a young global leader and danielle smith too
00:31:39.860and you want to know what did you find that in the way back machine
00:31:42.640give me a break on that stuff i mean i could i could be on that website for all i know
00:31:50.520we've done a piece on that a couple of years ago i'm not going to explore it again this is
00:31:58.200something i found really funny today really funny mmiwg2s plus programs at risk of losing federal
00:32:07.560funding say indigenous women's organizations mm missing murdered indigenous women and girls
00:32:13.380and then throw in all the lesbian homosexual gay queer whatever else plus that's what all the plus
00:32:23.480is their native women's association of canada president says sunsetting programs undermines
00:32:29.540progress it undermines truth and reconciliation how much do you think they're cutting back here
00:32:38.560i'm going to play you a clip in just a in just a second indigenous women's organizations are
00:32:45.820calling on the federal government to provide sustained long-term funding to programs addressing
00:32:49.820missing and murdered indigenous women and girls two-spirit and gender diverse people
00:32:54.060no at the news conference today in ottawa national family and survivors circle nfc s sc whatever
00:33:07.760President Hilda Anderson peers said short-term funding decisions by the federal government have
00:33:13.680undermined the very organizations working to prevent violence and support families and
00:33:18.280survivors. The cost of this violence is measured in lives lost, families shattered, and hundreds
00:33:22.200of millions of dollars every year. I've got a suggestion for you. I'm not going to say it here
00:33:27.900now that I'm out on all the big social media platforms, but I've got a great suggestion for
00:33:31.760you. I think you probably know what it is. Part of this press conference today was
00:33:38.040Winnipeg NDP MP Leah Ghazan. This is the woman who wants to criminalize residential school
00:33:46.040denialism, all right? If you deny what they say happened, they say happened at residential schools,
00:33:53.700if you deny that 215 children died at the residential school in Kamloops, then you,
00:34:00.020my friend, should be behind bars. Okay, that's Leah Gazant. Here she is today talking about this
00:34:06.840funding cut. And every time she says a certain acronym, I will play a sound effect. This is
00:34:13.760actually kind of funny. When the budget was released, I was shocked to find out that Prime
00:34:19.440Minister Carney is cutting $7 billion between Indigenous Services Canada and Crown Indigenous
00:34:25.960relations. They provided $0 to deal with the ongoing genocide of MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+. This is
00:34:37.000abhorrent. This is callous. This is callous because the very liberal government that has
00:34:42.800stripped organizations of life-sustaining funding has now promised, committed $13 billion,
00:34:51.700dollars, 13 billion dollars on military spending. Who is paying for it? Indigenous women across
00:35:01.200this country, Indigenous women, girls 2SLGBTQIA+, are not safe. In fact, rates of violence are
00:35:09.660increasing. And what is the Prime Minister doing? He is turning a blind eye on this violence.
00:35:16.040You know, the Prime Minister talks a lot about projects of national interest,
00:35:19.720What is in the national interest? Are the lives, safety, security, and dignity not in the national interest of Indigenous women and girls 2SLGBTQIA plus? Is the Prime Minister okay having Indigenous women 2SLGBTQIA plus family members and organization coming to Parliament begging time and time again to see our humanity? Is he okay with that?
00:35:48.940Well, clearly, with his behavior the other day, laughing at a woman from grassy narrows who is suffering from mercury poisoning, having her even having to beg for an apology is an example of how this Prime Minister has turned his back on Indigenous peoples, particularly Indigenous women and girls to us LGBTQIA+.
01:06:51.440based upon what they did in uh not venezuela in south america earlier this year and of course
01:07:00.000they've got canada as well they want greenland too they're going to get that next so venezuela
01:07:07.180of course so they've got all the oil the united states they need they don't need to keep the
01:07:12.900Strait of Hormuz open. You know who does? Europe, the EU, the UK, China, not necessarily, but yeah,
01:07:21.560sure, why not? Australia, and yet they're not there. Maybe the UK sent a boat over by now,
01:07:29.800but it definitely had nothing to do with the war at all, or the conflict, or police action,
01:07:36.060or whatever you want to call it. So what the hell is really going on?
01:07:44.340Promethean Action does a thing every couple of days, and you can find their videos on YouTube.
01:07:50.800I find them very interesting, and sometimes we put them on the All Access. And by the way,
01:07:54.500if you want to join the All Access, become one of the All Access Nighthawks, just go to
01:07:57.940shadowdavis.com. Like it's spelled behind me, S-H-A-D-O-E-D-A-V-I-S, all one word,
01:08:03.660shadowdavis.com go and join and get access to the live show every weeknight at eight o'clock
01:08:09.960and of course all of the great people in our group on telegram the shadow at night community
01:08:15.360is the u.s going to withdraw from nato
01:08:19.560check this out on nato i'll take your question thank you caroline on nato can you tell me
01:08:27.540is the united states still considering withdrawing from nato is that still a possibility
01:08:32.200It's something the president has discussed, and I think it's something the president will be discussing in a couple of hours with Secretary General Ruta.
01:08:38.680And perhaps you'll hear directly from the president following that meeting later this afternoon.
01:15:47.960Mexico has officially introduced a digital identification system by signing a law that turned the previously optional biometric-based citizen code into a mandatory document for all citizens.
01:16:00.700In June of last year, legislators approved amendments to a law related to the 18-character personal identifier known as Unique Population Registry Code.
01:16:13.220CLEVE UNIQUE DE REGISTRO DE PUBLICIANZO, CURP, they call it.
01:16:19.160With the change formalized last July through a decree,
