00:05:30.000 Hello and welcome to the show, everybody.
00:05:49.520 This is Shadow at Night, Monday, August the 12th, 2024.
00:05:53.280 And on the show tonight, Chris Dacey of Dacey Media,
00:05:55.800 who is covering the takeover the capital palestinian protest in ottawa over the weekend
00:06:01.920 we have some video to play for you from chris from that event
00:06:05.220 which we'll get to in just a second then chris is going to describe everything that happened
00:06:09.280 during that protest and how rough those people can get who may have been involved in the crowd
00:06:14.700 and much more chris daisy of daisy media coming up in just a second we have an update from jason
00:06:19.900 Levine of The Levine Show. He tells us that Chris Carbert and Tony Olenek, the Coutts
00:06:25.020 two, who were convicted of minor charges about a week and a half ago now in Lethbridge
00:06:30.840 Court, will appear in court two weeks from today for a week-long process before finally
00:06:36.580 getting sentencing and possibly bail on Friday the 30th, 29th, way at the end of the month.
00:06:47.440 So they've still got two, three more weeks in lockup before they see the light of day.
00:06:53.780 If, in fact, they do get released in a few weeks.
00:06:57.720 Interesting developments over there.
00:06:59.500 We'll try and find out more for you as the week goes on.
00:07:03.220 That news is just fresh.
00:07:05.200 I was thinking maybe we shouldn't do the show tonight because currently Elon Musk and Donald Trump are having his spaces on X.
00:07:11.100 And 1.2 million people are listening to that right now.
00:07:15.060 They were delayed.
00:07:15.540 It was supposed to come on at 7 o'clock Central Time tonight. 1.00
00:07:18.200 They got delayed because of a D-D-O-S attack,
00:07:24.260 some kind of a cyber attack that delayed them for 45 minutes.
00:07:27.680 So they're on right now on X.
00:07:29.740 And like I say, over 1 million people are listening to that event,
00:07:33.320 probably the largest event in X history when it comes to spaces.
00:07:39.080 So hopefully you guys go and listen to that later and watch this show tonight.
00:07:44.220 We also have some news regarding the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region Committee's plan and the left-wing corporate media's promotional campaign has already begun regarding that campaign, which is, as far as I'm concerned, a 15-minute city UN agenda plan, just like all the other ones breaking out across the country are right now.

00:09:16.220 All right, let's go to video from the takeover the Capitol protest this past weekend in Ottawa,
00:09:22.900 courtesy of Dacey Media.
00:09:24.880 This is right in front of the House of Commons on Wellington Street in downtown Ottawa.
00:09:34.620 I'll just put the police between me and these guys, man.
00:09:45.760 No problem.
00:09:47.460 I'll just get the police between me and these guys.
00:09:49.660 Okay, let's mark it.
00:10:05.840 Doesn't it really?
00:10:06.980 Behind the lights?
00:10:08.880 That's the same thing, right?
00:10:16.440 Why are they still on the police station?
00:10:18.460 it's not okay that there's a thousand please around another here well they're
00:10:31.840 not here when the guys are pushing get in my face are they is it okay I don't
00:10:38.380 think it is I don't care
00:10:48.460 there's citizens that need help down here officers there's a bunch of citizens that
00:11:02.100 need help down here guys like honestly hello sergeant officers officer in the truck we need
00:11:11.500 help down here guys oh you're just gonna all bike away are you kidding me are you kidding me
00:11:20.380 are you kidding me you're gonna bike away where are you biking to where are all the police
00:11:29.000 that were here all morning what the hell guys can are there any police here that can help some
00:11:38.180 citizens there's two liaisons and that's it down there they're completely over tasked they can't
00:11:46.500 do anything and a bunch of people are getting attacked can any of you guys help i asked for 0.89
00:11:53.140 help and they all biked away from me for fuck's sakes like there's people getting pushed around 0.99
00:11:59.480 there's all kinds of intimidation disorderly following smoke grenades being set off for fuck's 1.00
00:12:05.760 Diggs! I should not have to come down here and beg you for help. 1.00
00:12:11.380 Eh?
00:12:11.940 Yeah, you know what? You're on the other one, please. You should always not be here.
00:12:15.300 Oh, is that, eh? I should leave because they're breaking the law. Is that what you say, Sergeant?
00:12:21.240 Get through your job.
00:12:24.620 Share this, please. 1.00
00:12:27.340 I am sick of this crap. 0.98
00:12:28.880 all of this could have been presented so this these guys i asked for help and they biked away 0.99
00:12:46.280 i had to run down a full block to get help well i need to talk to someone about this after oh you
00:12:53.240 I do need help. Yeah, I do. Which one of you guys, how many of you biked away from me when I asked for help? Which one of you guys?
00:13:07.300 Everyone who bicycled away down a block and made me chase them a block for help, raise your hand. 0.97
00:13:13.360 Every one of you cowards who bicycled away when I asked for help, raise your hands.
00:13:20.080 You're all on video, so you'll be pretty famous by the end of the night, and you're all live 0.96
00:13:25.240 as well.
00:13:26.240 I literally asked for help, and eight officers disengaged, I had to chase them, but come
00:13:34.840 on.
00:13:35.840 Come on.
00:13:36.840 as smoke grenades go off in the background
00:13:41.840 welcome to Ottawa
00:13:44.340 welcome to Ottawa
00:13:47.440 here come the big flags 0.99
00:13:50.900 you know that is rather pathetic 0.98
00:13:54.220 I can't even believe that really 0.99
00:13:59.680 happened but here we are
00:14:02.020 let me just take this down off the screen here
00:14:05.160 so i'm not distracted by it going forward we're going to bring chris on right now uh who is there
00:14:10.520 chris you sounded emotionally engaged in that incident uh when was that yesterday or the day
00:14:16.200 before that would have been uh saturday afternoon and uh yeah 100 i was emotional um you know that
00:14:23.020 last part of the video was was after this this thing going on for hours um it was still in
00:14:27.720 in the street smoking already been set off drums the usual genocidal type chant um you know i had
00:14:35.480 tried to get help from from police so let me start off by saying maybe that when i went into downtown
00:14:41.640 this time um there was one of the largest police presence i've seen in in ages it's set up ahead of
00:14:46.600 time there was um a large number of auto police they had public order units on standby and was
00:14:52.120 also a huge contingent of opd on standby in case they were so all these police were
00:14:57.660 chris your audio chris your audio is breaking up a little bit if you could maybe just turn
00:15:02.460 down the gain some so that it doesn't over modulate that would be cool yeah i want to
00:15:07.100 hear we we all want to hear everything that you've got to say here and and it's getting
00:15:10.880 to the point with these protests that enough is enough right is that any better uh you got
00:15:20.220 to keep talking so we can tell man anyway you were in the middle of saying hopefully hopefully
00:15:24.920 so what i was saying was i was quite surprised um you know there was some pretty intense rhetoric
00:15:29.920 and uh some wild videos that went out about this it was being dubbed take over the capital
00:15:33.740 and i forwarded those on to police um i told whoever i could um and it seemed starting out
00:15:40.240 today that there was there was quite a large peace presence and that they were prepared for
00:15:43.600 for what might happen um the event was on the hill so it was kind of contained to the hill
00:15:49.160 their speeches all kinds of stuff going on it's when it suddenly came out onto wellington street
00:15:53.560 there were only two days on officers there and not a single one their officer deployed um until i ran
00:16:01.320 so let me ask you when you went and and got all of those officers it looked like there was quite
00:16:06.040 a few waiting down there were these guys parading towards the cops do you think they were assigned
00:16:10.360 to that one spot and then maybe they were supposed to you know follow that parade wherever they wound
00:16:15.960 up uh and they didn't want to leave their post let's just say uh yeah i so i had that and i think
00:16:24.820 that may be the case with the second set of cops like at the far end it seemed like they were set
00:16:29.600 up to to facilitate the march and and kind of bring them along um it's weird normally the streets
00:16:35.280 get closed down at a time they had lots of police involved and ready but maybe the crowd came out
00:16:40.500 like effectively is the only thing i can kind of imagine and those two liaisons were kind of just
00:16:45.480 left there in the middle um and everybody else was kind of stood back maybe for the parade part
00:16:50.280 but uh you know those those officers weren't that far away um the ones that i went and asked for
00:16:54.840 help and there was a sergeant in that truck and i mean they could see what was going on
00:16:59.560 directly in front of them i could only you know i'm guessing but i think probably the liaisons
00:17:04.360 would have radioed that things were kind of getting a little edit and the street was still
00:17:07.800 open when they came out um you know it was it was a wild scene i was right in the middle of
00:17:12.440 that at one point i kind of was like i looked around there was no one friend around no police
00:17:16.980 around and uh you know i took a bit of video of the smoke grenade and i'm done and i didn't feel
00:17:21.220 safe enough dude you know what your audio is horrendous we can't understand what you're saying
00:17:25.560 if there's something we could do to fix it i could just pull you off screen for a couple of minutes
00:17:29.240 or something and maybe we can uh get that improved some because you've got a lot of really cool
00:17:34.080 things to say we want to be able to hear you so we're going to bring you back in a couple of
00:17:37.680 minutes all right chris daisy of daisy media hopefully rejoins with better audio in just a
00:17:43.480 couple of minutes guys tonight on the extension for you all access uh members at shadow davis.com
00:17:49.920 i've got video of the u.n conference on the human environment in 1972 which is chaired by
00:17:57.000 maurice strong maurice strong who is the originator originator of the u.n the united nations
00:18:02.960 Sustainable Development Goals back in 1987. He brought those goals to the UN in 1987 where they
00:18:11.480 developed a plan based upon that and then launched it worldwide in 1992. And guess where we are right
00:18:17.580 now? Originally it was called Agenda 21 and then they switched it to Agenda 2030, which is what
00:18:25.420 we're in the middle of right now. We're five years away from them completing their goal. Complete
00:18:30.740 cities, healthy cities, smart cities, 15-minute cities, whatever you want to call them. We're
00:18:38.260 going to go back and play this UN conference on the human environment from 1972 during
00:18:43.520 the extension tonight. What have I got for you here right now? Let's bring this up here.
00:18:51.880 hmm no i want to wait on that one everything is in sequence here so i'll tell you oh by the way
00:19:02.240 there was a poll done by nanos says no we don't want that there's a poll by nanos that says
00:19:10.440 canadians prefer mark carney as leader of the liberal party of canada over justin trudeau
00:19:15.800 we're going to get to that in just a little while uh which is funny because mark carney is
00:19:20.200 a bigger globally he's probably the biggest globalist of them all and and that's saying
00:19:25.360 something if you put christy of freeland together with justin trudeau and all of the other liberals
00:19:29.760 combined mark carney is probably one of the heads of the snake let's bring back uh chris dacy now
00:19:35.820 chris let's see if we can hear you better is that any better uh the other option i can do is take
00:19:40.820 off my head yeah okay hopefully it's a bit better yes yes that that is better okay so you were
00:19:45.880 talking about actually we were talking about who may have infiltrated this uh demonstration in
00:19:51.540 ottawa over the weekend was there black block antifa all all the people like that yeah the
00:19:56.760 usual players so there's there's an ever-growing uh group of of people with with communist flags
00:20:01.540 so i think there's a couple of different groups of communists um one of them is the communist
00:20:05.380 canadian communist party possibly ccp that would be fitting it um there's another one they've got
00:20:10.520 kind of a rose and a hammer and sickle so there's there's always the the visible communists there's
00:20:15.520 also the um i guess you would call them kind of akin to antifa or black block so there's varying
00:20:21.420 degrees of that sometimes it's uh it's with teffias and things like that sometimes it's just straight
00:20:26.240 up masks sometimes it's more of that militarized kind of look so you have you definitely have the
00:20:30.600 antifa um sometimes you get the unions it's more uh it's more in the lgbt type of events but uh
00:20:37.120 you have at least three groups i would i would say and uh i find for the most part it's the antifa
00:20:43.160 types and some of these more communist types that i tend to have more problems with there are times
00:20:48.400 where i can kind of have conversations with some of the uh the pro-palestinian people but it's
00:20:52.140 almost always shut down by these these marshals and different people that seem to be uh inserting
00:20:56.880 themselves into the cause when you say marshals are you talking about like uh almost like whips
00:21:02.620 where they walk around the crowd and they don't want people engaging with media like yourself or
00:21:07.280 even police officers or left-wing corporate media who might get a quote that they don't want out
00:21:12.440 there yeah 100 so there's there's people that have vests and they're almost exclusive for in
00:21:18.220 my experience most of them have been these these leftist types like there's an overlap there um
00:21:22.360 in fact clayton goodwin who i've had lots of experience with was kind of front and center
00:21:26.920 at this thing uh before the march he's standing there he's got a big walking stick and kind of
00:21:31.280 giving me a hard time but you know it's he's present at almost every radical left event in
00:21:36.120 ottawa and he clearly has some type of leadership role or or something going on there there's a
00:21:40.980 connection for sure. What about our friend who began the Million Person March last year? I'm
00:21:47.340 forgetting his name right now off the top of my head. Kamil. Yeah, Kamil Elshik. Yeah, he's the
00:21:53.700 guy. You have become friends with him over the past few months. And I remember you saying in a
00:21:59.660 video a couple of days ago that you and Kamil don't see eye to eye on everything, but you have
00:22:05.340 developed a friendship and you do are able to communicate. Where does he stand in all of this?
00:22:11.500 We haven't really gotten too in-depth into those conversations.
00:22:15.460 We've had some conversations recently, though, and I kind of told them, like, I want to talk to people involved in this, but the cause has been completely taken over and I can't do it this way.
00:22:24.880 So I think him and I are going to try to have those conversations or some conversations.
00:22:29.520 We definitely don't see eye to eye on probably a lot of this stuff.
00:22:33.160 I don't imagine it will be the easiest conversation to have.
00:22:36.240 But him and I have been able to work civilly and find common ground.
00:22:39.420 and i want to try to have that conversation and i want to try to understand more of the underlying
00:22:44.100 cause that's bringing all these people out there's a lot of different things going on but if we just
00:22:48.120 keep looking at everything like a monolith and saying like it's just a palestinian thing it's
00:22:51.920 just uh israeli or whatever that's not what's happening here um there's many groups there's
00:22:56.160 many things going on and i want to kind of get to more of the bottom of some of these issues so
00:23:00.500 i'm going to attempt to do that with him and probably uh do do some work maybe helping out
00:23:05.260 to try out a successful march here in september you know it's interesting because um trying to
00:23:11.960 have that conversation i mean i recall you saying i go into this with an open mind and an open heart
00:23:16.740 truly trying genuinely trying to understand what the end goal what the ask from these people is
00:23:24.180 and once you get involved in that street stuff with a camera everybody's pointing a camera at
00:23:29.140 everybody else right nobody can come off that that role they're supposed to be playing out in public
00:23:34.500 can actually just have a sit down heart to heart maybe it would be better to have a closed doors
00:23:39.060 conversation with somebody like camille so you can really get a vibe for what they're trying
00:23:43.560 to accomplish here yeah i think that's the only way that like the conversations once you're on
00:23:48.560 the street and they're at protest i don't think that anybody realistically is expecting to have
00:23:53.160 a productive conversation there and i'm not saying that everybody's ill-intentioned and trying to
00:23:57.380 gotcha but the emotions are too high there's no time to properly dig into the issues these are
00:24:02.240 really complex issues and a few catchphrases on the street while everyone's you know at emotion
00:24:07.240 level 10 is not really the way to do it so i do think in a place where where you know it's calm
00:24:12.640 it's quiet it doesn't have to be you know there's lots of ways to do it could be recorded
00:24:15.380 um so that people feel more comfortable whatever the case may be but i think it's one-on-one or in
00:24:20.980 in very small groups anyways that these conversations are going to be had and not in the
00:24:24.740 street what about the two-tier policing i mean you know as you illustrated in your video these
00:24:30.660 police don't seem to want to engage with these folks. The smoke bombs are going off and the
00:24:35.020 drums are being pounded. And it looks pretty unruly as compared to, oh, I don't know, something
00:24:40.960 like the Freedom Convoy with bouncy castles and road hockey games in the street. And yet they
00:24:46.180 brought out the heavy cavalry for that. What's your take? Yeah, I mean, I'm pretty used to a
00:24:52.340 two-tiered policing system and justice system here in Ottawa. But even with this one, I mean,
00:24:56.540 I was shocked. And there's been times where I, you know, to give the police the benefit of the
00:25:01.700 doubt, maybe they weren't quite prepared in time or they weren't set up in time or a crowd kind of
00:25:06.660 moved before they expected. But after seeing the police presence, after having personally notified
00:25:11.220 the police, so I know they knew this was happening, seeing the massive police presence, including
00:25:16.440 auxiliary OPP standing by, I thought, okay, you know, like this is better. Be prepared if there's
00:25:22.880 a problem at least there's police here right and when i saw absolutely no please the only thing
00:25:28.620 that i can really think is right right either they were caught completely off guard which seems
00:25:33.340 impossible given their position and how many officers they had or they were ordered to stand
00:25:37.140 down i i can't realistically think of another option and having been a person who went to police
00:25:43.820 asking for help i mean if that was another citizen would they have ran away did they do that because
00:25:47.980 it was me if it was because it was me does that make it okay like there's so many questions here
00:25:53.440 that are just i can't believe this is real life honestly yeah you know it seems like we're watching
00:25:59.020 a movie and how well coordinated those people are you know i mean if you say that there was a couple
00:26:04.300 thousand people there they i mean the stuff they're carrying that's not inexpensive those flags and
00:26:10.520 and the headdress and and all of the equipment that they've got the the speakers and the smoke
00:26:17.160 bombs i mean where's that money coming from who's paying for that i mean uh ngos i guess um there's
00:26:23.560 there's people that that you know have dug into this more than me but i think it's a big circle
00:26:28.200 of ngos um our government gives to this this group who gives to this group who gives to this group and
00:26:33.800 i mean the organization is impossible to miss um i imagine a lot of it goes on at mosque i don't
00:26:39.000 know that to be to be 100 true but like they have matching everything they have you know there's
00:26:44.360 thousands of people there when there's ten thousand they all still have the same outfit and
00:26:47.160 and flags so someone's making a killing on flags in katiyas um but they're clearly well supported
00:26:53.400 they have uh they have people that will bust them in um by the bus load at times um so there's money
00:26:58.600 definitely supporting this it's not uh it's not like the grassroots kind of thing that we saw
00:27:02.600 um you know in in 20 uh 2022. what about all the mass query i mean this this is you know when
00:27:08.600 you've got a situation where it's a possible riot situation like this uh it's illegal in canada to
00:27:15.400 wear face coverings to conceal your identity and yet the police continue to let these people do
00:27:20.040 this are they all masked or just most of them i would say the vast majority and and the ones that
00:27:26.120 are problems yes they're every single one of those people is normally masked um i think it was just
00:27:30.840 that same day uh karima uh kareem assad was posting some videos there was an event i think
00:27:35.800 it was uh in near toronto possibly but justin trudeau was having an event and there was a large
00:27:40.520 protest that showed up there including a pro-palestinian contingent and the police there
00:27:44.760 were telling people uh giving them the ultimatum that they'd have to take their masks off um that's
00:27:49.240 the only and first instance i've seen of that that's never been an issue here so i mean i have
00:27:54.200 in those those many altercations there's people that were you can only see just barely you can
00:27:58.440 even make out their eye color um right up in my face and you know they're they're unidentifiable
00:28:03.160 and if something really does happen and you know i might have video it wouldn't be a lot of help in
00:28:07.760 identifying or laying charges in any of these people yeah she had brown eyes brown eyes maybe
00:28:14.620 i don't know uh this is not a good thing for justin trudeau who looks like he's nearing the
00:28:20.060 end of his rope here uh we've got a poll that says canadians prefer mark carney as the new
00:28:24.380 liberal leader from nanos over justin trudeau by a kind of a wide margin do you see anything
00:28:30.080 helping the liberals at this stage of the game with the protests and and the bad polling and
00:28:35.120 uh the general lethargy and even the hatred and the unrest that's happening across our country
00:28:40.720 right now yeah and i don't think i mean that's that's not so much an endorsement of carney as
00:28:45.520 an indictment of crudo probably um i don't see how they can do anything to save this honestly um
00:28:51.840 they're they're getting more and more desperate and the rhetoric will probably get increasingly
00:28:55.520 extreme and and we'll probably see more chaos in our streets right what they need is someone like
00:28:59.680 need to freak out when something like this is going on instead of having a video of a stomping
00:29:04.400 of an Israeli flag and you know they'll have me me or someone you know someone lose it then they
00:29:09.360 kind of have what they want right and then then all this right wing extremist talk is is true for
00:29:13.680 them so I mean we need to not it's hard man when you're out there and and in the middle of these
00:29:18.640 things not get too emotional and but we need to keep our wits about us and you know document
00:29:22.800 everything keep sharing and talking while we can because I mean I thought that we were years behind
00:29:27.760 england after what i went through this weekend uh i fear that we're a lot closer to what's
00:29:31.840 happening in england than i thought well you know what aside from what's going on in england there's
00:29:37.040 a whole other thing and that's people are being arrested for posting online over there i've got
00:29:41.040 some video of a judge sentencing a man for posting on facebook coming up a little bit later on in the
00:29:47.440 show you've got a busy week the the trial resumes for uh tamara leach and chris barber tomorrow i
00:29:53.360 I think you're going to be covering that.
00:29:54.500 Yeah, you and Smoothie?
00:29:56.100 Yeah, Smoothie will have the detailed coverage there
00:29:58.060 coming from the courthouse, and I'll be doing my thing, too.
00:30:01.300 So that's the ongoing longest mischief trial in Canadian history.
00:30:04.960 It's supposed to go the rest of this week and a few more days.
00:30:07.480 So we're looking at quite a while and then months
00:30:09.920 before we get probably a decision.
00:30:12.400 And Friday night, it's a big bash for Pat King,
00:30:15.660 even though he won't be there.
00:30:17.420 It is a fundraiser for him.
00:30:18.660 You got to go cover that, too?
00:30:19.740 I'd love to see the video of that.
00:30:21.560 That's good.
00:30:21.900 yeah i'll be i'll be there for that one that that'll be nice yeah yeah that'll be nice uh
00:30:25.740 hopefully too many of the the it's a little outside of town so that kind of keeps the
00:30:29.100 crazes away sometimes but that should be nice pat won't be there but uh tamara will be there
00:30:32.780 and she'll have her guitar and might be a few other surprises and that should be a nice night
00:30:36.700 barbecue and a bonfire and some cool times and stuff and you know after after the legal fees
00:30:42.780 he's incurred and then uh this this recent hiccup with the uh with the breach and all that uh you
00:30:47.820 You know, he's behind the eight ball again, so anything we can do to help him, you know, fight the state, then we're going to try to do that.
00:30:54.400 Do we know how much he's in for with this?
00:30:57.980 It's in the hundreds of thousands, obviously, but 300, 400?
00:31:02.920 I would guess it's got to be up there.
00:31:04.460 I've heard talk about, like, so for Tamerian Chris, for instance, it being close to a million.
00:31:08.560 I've heard talk, like, before his breach and that he was something like still maybe 20K in the hole, but with the breach and all that, you know, it doesn't take long to rack up another 50, 60K.
00:31:16.680 um wow you know so he could be looking at trying to you know make up almost a hundred thousand by
00:31:21.820 this time this is said and done an additional hundred thousand that's insane and did you get
00:31:26.500 tossed around this past weekend at all did you get to get any bruises any cuts and not not too
00:31:31.820 bad man i got you know the usual right up in my face and the and the verbal you know like
00:31:36.920 tongue lastings and that but i got pushed back a little bit by by the crowd but i've been in worse
00:31:41.860 have been in worse bro you you do a great job getting in there and getting the video for us
00:31:48.380 we need to see this stuff because it's our country it's going on in our capital city and you know
00:31:55.200 i believe like you talk about uk i believe the same sentiment is true uh here in canada except
00:32:01.580 we're such a big country that it seems you know ottawa from winnipeg to calgary and vancouver
00:32:07.160 we're all so far apart it's almost like it's not really happening here in some cases whereas the
00:32:12.600 uk it's a country the size of saskatchewan really i mean you know you can get to a major city inside
00:32:19.920 of 45 minutes uh in a car yeah we're definitely spread out and it does make it harder kind of to
00:32:26.740 find find the people that are supportive and i happen to be in a place that you know unless you
00:32:31.120 start getting into the rural parts of town you've got a lot of a lot of ideologically opposed people
00:32:35.900 to me um so it's a little hard here but uh i mean this stuff is happening here we're seeing video
00:32:40.620 and stuff coming out of out of every city um the changes are impossible to miss so um you know
00:32:46.540 we've been too polite for too long it's you know people are are instead of dealing with the issues
00:32:50.380 they're they're freaking out and they're calling us bigots for shining a light on it i think we
00:32:53.740 need to keep shining the light on it there wasn't a single mainstream media person down there um
00:32:57.900 we need to make sure that people with cameras are are sharing this because the camera doesn't lie
00:33:01.900 okay chris thanks for coming on tonight really appreciate you taking the time man we'll have
00:33:06.680 you back soon thank you thank you all right there is chris dacy of dacy media getting the job done
00:33:13.060 in the nation's capital in uh in ottawa now move on we got some other things to discuss tonight
00:33:20.320 and don't forget guys we have video of the 1972 the very first u.n conference on the human
00:33:26.320 environment
00:33:27.580 with maurice strong
00:33:29.280 i'm embarrassed to say that he is from manitoba he's the guy behind all of this
00:33:33.680 the united nations
00:33:35.240 sdg sustainable development goals he's the guy who got this initially pushed
00:33:39.360 through in the united nations
00:33:41.060 he is the culprit behind it all
00:33:44.780 so you can see it
00:33:47.400 i believe there was one hundred and seventeen countries participating in
00:33:50.680 the very first conference
00:33:52.620 on the human environment in nineteen seventy two
00:33:55.480 where they talk about
00:33:56.960 another ice age
00:33:58.800 is coming our way not global warming
00:34:00.980 that climate change
00:34:02.940 but another ice age
00:34:04.560 interesting
00:34:06.640 all right let's continue on with uh... this story here plan for the future of
00:34:10.420 what it bags metro region that's what the board is called it was
00:34:13.920 put in place by the province of manitoba
00:34:17.060 the board is a corporation
00:34:20.100 they have or
00:34:21.300 will have complete power over
00:34:23.960 all of the municipalities
00:34:26.100 in the province to start with
00:34:28.020 it will be the city of winnipeg
00:34:29.980 plus the seventeen surrounding rural municipalities rms we call them
00:34:34.580 and the left wing corporate media in winnipeg is already starting the promo
00:34:37.980 campaign
00:34:39.700 is from ctd winnipeg 0.70
00:34:42.180 this woman here i don't know her name
00:34:46.260 doesn't say on the screen she's interviewing the executive director of
00:34:49.300 the winnipeg
00:34:50.600 metropolitan region board
00:34:52.680 let's have a listen
00:34:53.620 Let's have a listen to how glowing and amazing this project is going to be for all of us.
00:34:58.760 And a long-term regional development strategy is now in the works.
00:35:03.080 This 30-year plan for Winnipeg and 17 surrounding municipalities, including Neverville, Richat, and McDonald's, are now in the public hearing stage.
00:35:12.260 It's called Plan 2050, a 30-year blueprint to coordinate land use, services, and infrastructure.
00:35:19.820 Joining us now from the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region is the Executive Director, Jennifer Freeman.
00:35:25.200 Good morning, Jennifer.
00:35:26.900 Good morning.
00:35:27.580 Thanks for joining us.
00:35:28.700 Now, first, let's start with the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region.
00:35:32.120 Tell us what WMR is exactly and what your mandate is.
00:35:36.540 So in 2019, the province of Manitoba mandated the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region
00:35:42.860 to coordinate land use across the region.
00:35:47.560 Part of that mandate was to create the first regional plan.
00:35:51.520 So the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region, as you said, are the 18 municipalities across the Winnipeg Metro Region, the capital planning region.
00:35:59.920 And they've been working together for a very long time to work on this strategy to coordinate our land use planning and service.
00:36:10.780 Wait a minute, wait a minute. Hold on. What's a very long time?
00:36:14.720 How long have they been working on this?
00:36:16.780 i don't know she doesn't specify either but this board was only formed last year
00:36:23.700 this board was only formed last year so if they didn't have a board
00:36:29.240 how could they work on anything
00:36:32.180 let's continue so actually it was susan thompson um in 1998 who who brought these great leaders to
00:36:42.420 together and and we're continuing this work okay so there's a lot of rumors and misconceptions
00:36:50.280 about what this plan is in the first place let's tell tell us a little bit about some of the
00:36:56.620 misconceptions that are out there and some of the fears you're hearing from people okay you know
00:37:01.280 what first I think I'll tell you what it is about at a very high level okay you know no matter where
00:37:08.100 we no matter where we live we have the same challenges and you know we want the same things
00:37:14.780 we want you know good jobs we want to grow old in our communities we want the water that we drink
00:37:21.620 okay so she is reciting directly from the plan we want clean water we want good jobs
00:37:31.720 this is right from the plan this is not from here she's may as well be reading this she may 0.97
00:37:39.780 have memorized it let's continue to be clean um you know we want our children to stay here have
00:37:47.300 opportunities here and we want our grandchildren to be raised here so what it is not in the end
00:37:54.540 This is some of the misconceptions that have been pulled out of planning policy.
00:38:01.840 Some of the misconceptions are around, for example, this first and foremost, this is not about taking away people's personal rights and freedom.
00:38:12.620 It's not about forcing people to use electronic vehicles.
00:38:17.120 It's not about forcing people to take the bus.
00:38:21.140 It's not about closing.
00:38:22.840 Okay, so notice she uses the word forcing. It's not about forcing. It's not about that. That is in the language of their report. This is in the language of their plan. All right? They don't say forcing, but they do have other ways of doing it.
00:38:41.240 make things too expensive for people oh you're not going to be able to drive your
00:38:46.240 your gas powered car here you can drive
00:38:49.740 an electric car but not a gas powered car at least not
00:38:53.420 this week the pollution numbers are up don't you know that
00:38:57.260 so maybe when they come down the week after next you can drive your gas
00:39:02.580 powered or maybe if you've got a permit that you spent three hundred and fifty
00:39:05.640 dollars for through the winnipeg metropolitan region
00:39:09.140 gaming plan or whatever it is then you can go ahead you've got a sticker on your car yeah then
00:39:15.280 you can't bus has she been on a bus in winnipeg ever i wonder we're not forcing you to take the
00:39:26.920 bus but we are going to have extended dedicated bus corridors should you decide you want to
00:39:34.900 where is the money coming from this i'm gonna let her finish i'm sorry
00:39:38.240 off access to roads or wells um but when you okay hold on in the language of the plan they say
00:39:47.760 that they will be limiting usage of travel corridors so this is either a lie
00:39:54.120 or she hasn't read that part of the report this policy framework it's it's aspirational and
00:40:01.380 we are exploring use of electronic vehicles, but not forcing everybody to use them. We're just
00:40:11.840 thinking of the environment and what the considerations are around that. We're also
00:40:17.120 looking at transit to ensure that our connectivity is planned very wisely. So for the people who do
00:40:25.600 take the bus, they can get to where they need to go. And then I think the biggest misconception
00:40:32.580 is that we are planning 15-minute cities, which we are not. As I said, we're planning so that
00:40:40.360 people can grow old in their communities. So that's just basically if you have a big house
00:40:45.900 on a big lot and you can no longer maintain that, that maybe there's a senior's residence in your
00:40:51.800 your community there's a store close by but it's okay so this is something i haven't been able to
00:40:59.080 understand i'm not sure if you right now watching this live in a city i live in a city and
00:41:09.960 everything you can think of is within already within a 15-minute walk for me because i don't
00:41:17.560 don't own a vehicle. I walk everywhere and I do take the bus. I want for nothing. There are
00:41:24.100 several doctor's offices in my neighborhood. There's several dental offices in my neighborhood.
00:41:29.740 There's chiropractors. There's all kinds of medical offshoots. There's grocery stores.
00:41:35.140 There's a Walmart down the street. It's not difficult to get the things you need
00:41:43.380 without ever having to get into a taxi cab.
00:41:46.820 So why do we need this?
00:41:48.940 It's already available.
00:41:51.860 Everything that she is talking about,
00:41:54.500 clean water.
00:41:55.800 Do we not have clean water now?
00:41:57.880 Is there something the matter with the water?
00:41:59.740 Should we be freaking out because the water is an issue?
00:42:04.780 I don't understand exactly why they need to have this plan
00:42:09.340 if it's not going to do anything.
00:42:13.380 and that's what she's saying also it's not a 15-minute city no that's not what you're calling
00:42:20.820 it you're calling it a complete city goes by different names in different jurisdictions
00:42:24.920 brandon's is going to be called a healthy city i don't know what they call it in edmonton
00:42:30.300 or calgary or vancouver or toronto but i'm sure they've got different names they have
00:42:36.500 they're disguising what they're doing.
00:42:40.920 Remember, there are 400 municipalities,
00:42:44.080 including all the big cities in this country,
00:42:46.000 who are members of the Canadian Federation of Municipalities.
00:42:52.860 They're partnering with the Partners for Climate Protection,
00:42:56.940 which is the Canadian version of ICLEI,
00:42:59.320 which comes directly from the United Nations,
00:43:01.440 and they are installing their 17 sustainable development goals,
00:43:07.020 or they're trying to.
00:43:09.480 Has she mentioned climate at all yet?
00:43:13.580 Because it's all over the report.
00:43:16.800 UN is all over the report.
00:43:19.860 I believe Ken Lee told me this morning they mentioned 72 times climate change.
00:43:26.260 72 times in the report.
00:43:28.400 That's once every two pages.
00:43:31.440 has she said it yet let's see if she does
00:43:54.240 it had to be postponed what are the plans to reschedule that
00:43:58.320 option is is spreading like wildfire and that's not what this is about the misinformation was
00:44:04.440 planned in neverville at the neverville heritage center last thursday a lot of people showed up
00:44:10.320 it had to be postponed what are the plans to reschedule that uh hearing well we're looking
00:44:17.400 we're looking into that right now because what this really shows us is there's a lot of people
00:44:22.100 who are really passionate about what's going on in their communities they're concerned about what's
00:44:25.840 going on uh... in their community all right all right with
00:44:29.060 yet we don't need to listen to them
00:44:30.540 that we want the facts of course they want the facts you know what all they
00:44:33.600 need to do
00:44:35.180 if they really want the facts is read the plan
00:44:39.600 it seems to me that many people on this board on this winnipeg metropolitan
00:44:43.600 region board haven't read the plan yet it seems to me that council members in
00:44:48.020 the municipalities surrounding the city of winnipeg and even council members
00:44:51.840 on city council
00:44:54.160 haven't read this plan yet
00:44:58.480 we have been working on information sessions for all of the eighteen
00:45:02.740 municipalities
00:45:04.080 in the next thirty to forty days we gotta at least a forty minute window here
00:45:08.440 before it sorry
00:45:09.440 forty day window
00:45:12.140 uh... because they could not pull off the meeting last time in neverville too
00:45:16.240 many people not a big enough
00:45:18.800 so they're planning a new one we don't know where and when it's going to be
00:45:21.520 yet
00:45:22.500 but hopefully they have capacity for at least two thousand people
00:45:26.760 everybody cannot
00:45:29.340 into the venue that they've decided on that they do decide on
00:45:33.820 then they're gonna have to do it again or they're gonna have to live stream it
00:45:36.500 that's all part of it
00:45:38.180 i think they should have to live stream it
00:45:41.580 personally i'm not sure why they haven't
00:45:43.680 all maybe it's because they don't really want people to know
00:45:47.320 why are they doing this under cover of night
00:45:51.700 and when i say undercover of night i mean right in the middle of summer they
00:45:55.340 know everybody is is on vacation
00:45:58.600 in the short manitoba summer they do it in the middle
00:46:01.620 of a work day when the people who are done vacation are at work
00:46:06.060 why don't they do it in the evening brandon's doing it in the evening
00:46:10.460 in the evening people would have
00:46:13.320 more of an opportunity to attend
00:46:16.520 maybe it's because they don't want you to
00:46:20.180 but now
00:46:21.360 they've reached out to all of their left-wing corporate media sources in
00:46:24.420 the city ctd
00:46:26.180 winnipeg is first
00:46:27.700 they've already had
00:46:29.180 the news talk radio station
00:46:31.600 and they probably will continue being on cj obi what it takes news and
00:46:35.800 information station
00:46:37.460 every day or every second day for the next forty days
00:46:41.240 putting out propaganda
00:46:42.960 to the people of the city
00:46:44.640 so when we do reach out to them
00:46:47.180 They're going to think we are conspiracy theorists.
00:46:55.420 That's what their plan is.
00:46:57.180 They're trying to get ahead of it before the next meeting.
00:47:01.600 We need to work faster.
00:47:04.000 So you're going to ask me right now, what are we doing?
00:47:06.420 What's the plan?
00:47:07.420 Plans are being made right now.
00:47:11.980 Plans are being made right now.
00:47:14.600 Maybe we need to move a little faster on this.
00:47:17.560 But I will assure you guys that plans are, in fact, being made right now.
00:47:24.020 From True North, Canadians prefer Mark Carney
00:47:27.100 as the new leader of the Liberal Party of Canada over Justin Trudeau.
00:47:33.560 There he is there.
00:47:34.500 He's the former governor of the Bank of Canada
00:47:37.200 and the former governor of the Bank of England.
00:47:39.260 They have a more positive view, well, we have a more positive view,
00:47:42.320 apparently of mark carney then justin trudeau however carney's addition to the liberal cabinet
00:47:47.760 may not be enough to regain support from voters last poll came out yesterday put it on from abacus
00:47:54.480 you saw it last night shows the conservatives with a twenty point lead over the liberals 43 23
00:48:01.760 with the ndp coming at eighteen percent and the conservatives also lead in quebec what yes the
00:48:09.840 the conservatives also lead in quebec
00:48:12.500 in every region the conservatives are ahead by as small as
00:48:16.140 eight points
00:48:17.860 and as many as forty points
00:48:21.600 and they lead by one point over the block
00:48:24.240 quebecois
00:48:26.000 in the province of quebec
00:48:27.400 they lead in all age groups
00:48:29.320 and they lead
00:48:30.500 in both genders
00:48:32.340 this new poll by nanos ask canadians how much carney's potential addition to
00:48:36.300 the liberal cabinet would have on their decision in the next election and the
00:48:39.320 The results revealed that while it may help a little bit, it's not going to be enough
00:48:43.860 to sway voters.
00:48:45.820 Political pundits have floated the idea of Carney replacing Trudeau as a liberal leader
00:48:49.640 for some time.
00:48:50.640 However, thus far, he's only being asked to join the cabinet by the prime minister because
00:48:54.960 the prime minister's ego is so big that he cannot, he cannot force himself to step aside.
00:49:01.760 He just can't.
00:49:03.640 He can't do it.
00:49:06.260 himself has remained quiet on such speculation. So we're not going to go into the details of that
00:49:11.220 poll. Whatever. The Liberals goose is cooked. Guys, I'm going to have to get this councillor
00:49:20.580 from Pickering on. She is getting ganged up on and beaten up. I mean, she's got to have a thick 1.00
00:49:27.580 skin by now. From City News everywhere. This is City News Toronto. Controversial councillor 0.75
00:49:36.020 created an environment of fear, that from the entire Pickering, Ontario Council, except
00:49:42.940 for her, of course.
00:49:44.540 Now, how could a woman, a single woman, versus five other people, men and women, create an
00:49:58.960 environment of fear?
00:50:01.620 Don't you think it might be the other way around?
00:50:06.620 This is from Rhianna Lim of the Canadian Press.
00:50:09.900 The mayor of a southern Ontario city and five out of six municipal councillors
00:50:14.720 are condemning the last member of the group for appearing on an online show
00:50:19.220 they say promotes hate speech and extremist views,
00:50:22.560 arguing her increasingly controversial history has created an environment of fear and intimidation on council.
00:50:27.880 oh she went on uh who's that guy from alberta i can't remember his name kevin j johnston or
00:50:37.880 something now he is extreme and i think it's for the shock value right he's going to say some
00:50:44.720 things that make him sound like a racist completely and totally over the top probably not the best
00:50:51.760 idea for her to appear on that show probably a better idea to come on this show but anyway
00:50:56.220 in a scathing press release published on wednesday last week pickering mayor kevin ash and the rest
00:51:04.180 of counselor uh sorry and the rest of counselor lisa robinson's fellow council members sounded
00:51:09.400 the alarm over her recent appearance on the kevin j johnston show on rumble which they call a far
00:51:15.380 right video platform no it's a free speech video platform so wrong on that one they said the host
00:51:24.300 called the council members pedophiles and nazis i can't verify i haven't heard the episode but i
00:51:30.140 wouldn't doubt it but again i can't say for sure maybe you watched it and heard him say that 0.95
00:51:38.140 and said they deserve a baseball bat to the face well that's that's uttering threats you can't say
00:51:46.060 that stuff you can't say that stuff there were other pointed remarks apparently asserting robinson 0.94
00:51:54.220 smiled. The council members,
00:51:56.300 the mayor and the council members are asserting that
00:51:57.980 Robinson smiled or
00:51:59.960 nodded instead of refuting
00:52:02.040 Johnston's comments. So what?
00:52:04.580 So what? She didn't say them.
00:52:07.080 The host said them.
00:52:08.100 If she smiled or nodded,
00:52:10.360 so what?
00:52:11.900 Big deal.
00:52:13.660 It was hateful. It was misogynist.
00:52:16.140 It was racist.
00:52:17.980 That from the mayor, Kevin Ash,
00:52:20.260 in a phone interview.
00:52:21.780 For many of us on council, this is really the final 0.98
00:52:24.160 straw she's creating an environment of intimidation and fear she's an elected official this guy should
00:52:35.840 go pound sand the statement from the mayor and the five counselors said robinson's participation in 0.55
00:52:41.280 the show is irresponsible unethical and dangerous and implies her support for extremist views they
00:52:46.400 say are at odds with the city's values of inclusivity and respect when you think she
00:52:51.000 can't go lower she goes lower ash said i would like to see them say that about this show seriously
00:52:58.420 where we could talk honestly and openly without the name calling part if you guys know lisa lisa
00:53:05.100 robinson who is a city counselor in pickering please uh let her know i i already uh tweeted
00:53:10.180 this out today i already asked her to follow me so i can message her on x i would love to have her
00:53:14.800 on controversies causing unrest at city hall pickering the mayor said participating in the
00:53:21.120 show is only the latest controversial action by robinson who was elected to pickering council
00:53:27.200 a couple of years ago he said robinson's appearance on the online show is part of what he called a
00:53:31.680 troubling pattern citing her opposition to pride events in her denunciation of black history month
00:53:36.400 and an opinion piece published earlier this year oh no she's not allowed to have her own opinions 0.64
00:53:42.160 on things. These actions have not only disrupted the business of our municipality, but have
00:53:48.020 also created an environment of fear and intimidation. These people need to grow a thicker skin,
00:53:55.120 or maybe, how about a public debate? How about that? I mean, you outnumber her. How is it
00:54:02.320 that she has created this environment of fear and intimidation, which has been intensified
00:54:08.160 by her appearance in this podcast, the joint statement reads.
00:54:12.440 As said, Robinson's controversies have prompted unrest at City Hall
00:54:15.680 since she took office, noting her supporters have interrupted
00:54:18.080 the council's agenda to the point where the chambers
00:54:21.080 have had to be cleared out multiple times.
00:54:24.700 Lisa Robinson, if you guys know her or have contact information,
00:54:28.640 please do me a favor and send it to me via email,
00:54:31.800 shadowdavis at gmail.com.
00:54:33.780 I would really, really appreciate that.
00:54:36.460 I'd love to have her on this show. 1.00
00:54:37.980 And she may be gun-shy.
00:54:39.300 She may be gun-shy about coming on the show now after that appearance on Kevin J. Johnston.
00:54:45.520 This on X from Jack Posobiec.
00:54:49.300 Flashback, of course, remember that the VP candidate now in the Democrat Party
00:54:54.100 underneath Kamala Harris on the ticket is Tim Walz.
00:54:58.040 And he's been accused of a lot of things since he was appointed to that ticket just a few days ago.
00:55:03.300 But this is interesting.
00:55:04.280 In a flashback, three Minneapolis police officers testified at the Minnesota Senate that Governor Tim Walz, at the time, gave the order to let rioters burn the Minneapolis Police Department 3rd Precinct.
00:55:19.680 I heard the governor, one cop said, I heard the governor say, give it up. Let's listen.
00:55:25.440 Police officers testified at the Minnesota Senate today.
00:55:28.140 The officers are all board members for the Minneapolis Police Federation.
00:55:31.780 And as Esme Murphy reports, they offered up a scathing critique of government and police
00:55:37.100 leaders during the riots following George Floyd's death.
00:55:40.700 That's not what we stand for.
00:55:42.800 Her voice shaking, Minneapolis Police Sergeant Anna Hedberg says during the riots,
00:55:47.020 officers were abandoned by state, city, and department leaders.
00:55:50.280 To watch them go through that was so heartbreaking.
00:55:55.120 to know that they could have died because we were not allowed to respond the way that we have been
00:56:02.280 trained to respond. During the riots, the officers were told they could not wear protective frog
00:56:07.200 suits, but were still hit and injured with bottles, cement, and more.
00:56:12.440 Sergeant Hedberg blamed state, city, and department leaders for the abandonment of the third
00:56:16.720 precinct. I heard the governor say, give it up.
00:56:19.860 It wasn't directly to me.
00:56:24.640 It was through a phone call.
00:56:26.020 The governor says give up the precinct.
00:56:28.440 I mean, that's demoralizing for this whole state.
00:56:31.940 And the three described a demoralized police force
00:56:34.500 with dozens of officers planning to retire or quit.
00:56:37.620 I believe I speak for every Minneapolis cop
00:56:40.620 when I tell you that I've never been more publicly humiliated.
00:56:45.740 They also described a city out of control.
00:56:47.660 The crime is rampant.
00:56:49.660 in minneapolis right now
00:56:56.660 tim walls
00:56:59.380 spreading joy
00:57:01.080 from coast to coast in the united states
00:57:03.400 that by the way
00:57:05.200 i think they're they're throwing that at the wall to see if it sticks in terms
00:57:07.940 of being their new campaign slogan
00:57:09.780 bring that joy
00:57:12.160 because you know kamala
00:57:17.160 Yeah, yeah, be woke, wokest, woker, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:57:21.560 And this Tim Walz guy, oh, you know what?
00:57:23.460 I'm just a Midwest guy who likes hunting.
00:57:25.980 But I also made a point of making full-term abortion legal,
00:57:31.220 and there's even some babies killed on my watch, by the way,
00:57:33.920 actually fully-formed born babies.
00:57:37.640 Eight of them, apparently, were killed, listed as abortions.
00:57:42.960 And so you know what his response to that was?
00:57:44.680 not to stop it
00:57:46.920 but to make sure the information
00:57:49.060 was never recorded on the record
00:57:51.080 so it couldn't be reported
00:57:52.580 a true story
00:57:57.440 what else in Minnesota
00:58:03.240 are neighbors to the south 0.99
00:58:04.660 seriously this sucks 0.99
00:58:07.220 how a small Minnesota town 0.98
00:58:12.420 was left with a giant pile
00:58:14.120 of wind turbine blades grant meadow wants someone to get rid of the mess after a failed effort to
00:58:21.400 recycle the massive worn out parts and look at them all there look at that i had a great conversation
00:58:27.800 with christine rosseray today and in the southern part of manitoba as well as you can see them on
00:58:34.320 the number one highway driving through saskatchewan all of these big wind turbines killing birds left
00:58:40.520 right in the center and i'm wondering exactly how much energy did they
00:58:44.280 contribute to the power grids
00:58:46.560 in our provinces
00:58:47.820 one percent two percent
00:58:49.760 how much did these monstrosities cost to maintain if they bother maintaining the
00:58:55.000 but all apparently here in minnesota they weren't
00:58:57.660 these blades would just
00:58:58.900 fall out of the sky
00:59:00.700 clang hit the ground 0.86
00:59:04.760 darcy richardson had big plans for up 1.00
00:59:07.160 garden patio enveloped by flowers in her backyard in this little community south 0.98
00:59:11.140 of rochester
00:59:12.460 she gave up once the blades arrived
00:59:16.060 trucks dropped off one hundred eleven fiberglass turbine blades on the empty
00:59:19.480 lot next door in twenty twenty haphazardly stacked to the edge of
00:59:23.340 richardson's property
00:59:25.040 almost four years later the mountain of old wind parts which is visible on
00:59:28.540 google earth
00:59:30.900 is still there
00:59:33.700 some blades are cracked and stained
00:59:35.680 Locals say they draw feral cats and foxes and are a safety risk because kids climb in the junk.
00:59:41.360 They're also ugly, ruining Richardson's view, hurting property values,
00:59:45.340 and attracting the curiosity of seemingly everyone who drives the highway into town.
00:59:50.500 After six months, we were like, come on, guys, what's going on, said Richardson. 0.79
00:59:54.120 Once a master gardener, after a year, we were like, seriously, this sucks.
00:59:59.660 what happened in grant meadow is more than merely a local mess it reflects tensions over the boom of
01:00:07.120 wind energy in southern minnesota during a shift away from fossil fuels all because of tim walls
01:00:12.220 by the way the problem of recycling green infrastructure small town political infighting
01:00:18.120 and government and corporate bureaucracy frustrated city leaders have tried every angle they can think
01:00:23.420 of to clear the lot pressuring the property owner the recycling company and now powerful state
01:00:27.560 regulators on the public utilities commission
01:00:30.800 the story began with the company next extra energy a large florida based
01:00:34.780 clean energy developer
01:00:37.500 twenty twenty
01:00:38.780 next era
01:00:39.800 so it's that next year in that next extra
01:00:42.400 rebuilt a wind farm in moore county to make the large ninety nine megawatt
01:00:46.600 facility more efficient installing longer blades on most of the forty three
01:00:50.300 turbines
01:00:51.440 each of those turbines is enormous stretching four hundred forty feet from
01:00:54.640 the ground of the fully extended tip of the new blades. Often, expired turbine blades end up in a
01:01:00.520 landfill. The fiberglass components are tough to reuse. Really? They can't be recycled? Creating
01:01:08.440 a weak recycling market. This is a nuisance for a growing industry that flaunts its green image.
01:01:14.740 In this case, NextEra tried to recycle. The company contracted a Spanish company,
01:01:19.400 Siemens Gamisa Renewable Energy, on the mower project, which in turn struck a deal to recycle
01:01:24.420 the leftover blades through ohio-based river cap ventures but guess what it never happened the
01:01:28.980 blades are still there they're dangerous and ugly thank you tim walls thank you tim walls for that
01:01:38.180 the next vp of the united states of america look what you guys need to do
01:01:43.780 is go online go on youtube as a matter of fact you follow the show on youtube i'm almost at
01:01:50.900 two two thousand i've almost two thousand followers on youtube so go ahead and follow
01:01:58.180 the show on youtube but also what you need to do is look at real politics there's a bunch of guys
01:02:04.420 on youtube that go ahead and and do projections on what's going to happen in the electoral college
01:02:11.780 in november and lately it appears as though kamala harris has got a bit a bit of an uptick
01:02:18.260 Or she might get to 225 or 230 seats, but every one of these I watch, which is almost daily,
01:02:26.040 it looks like Donald Trump is going to steal the show.
01:02:28.440 It looks like Donald Trump is going to win.
01:02:33.900 Don't know how the House is going to play out, don't know how the Senate's going to play out,
01:02:37.940 but it would be better if the Senate and the House were Republican as well
01:02:41.760 so he can get things through without having to sign executive orders.
01:02:45.140 make America great again.
01:02:49.340 My friends, we have a problem.
01:02:51.580 I haven't read this article yet.
01:02:53.260 It comes from left-wing corporate global news, Winnipeg.
01:02:56.940 No, sorry, this is Global News National.
01:02:59.120 My mistake.
01:03:00.860 It's talking about higher-than-average extreme weather events
01:03:04.620 like wildfires this autumn.
01:03:07.740 And like I said, I haven't read this article yet,
01:03:09.720 but I am willing to bet any money right now
01:03:12.320 that they say climate change
01:03:14.000 at least once in this article.
01:03:16.200 Shall we read it?
01:03:20.140 Canadians are in for an autumn
01:03:21.640 with higher than average extreme weather events
01:03:23.620 like wildfires, not wildfires, just firefighters.
01:03:27.240 More serious named storms.
01:03:29.700 Oh, so are they talking about hurricanes?
01:03:31.480 It sounds like the storms you name,
01:03:33.300 they're hurricanes, right?
01:03:35.540 Government of Canada scientists
01:03:37.580 said in a briefing today.
01:03:42.220 Yeah, yeah, let's trust
01:03:43.620 the government scientists these scientists who can now speak apparently remember stephen harper
01:03:50.960 wouldn't let them speak that was one of the big things let them speak and now nobody can speak
01:03:56.340 unless of course you're speaking the agreed upon narrative that comes from the lefties
01:04:01.260 anyway these scientists told reporters that wildfire season could last well into september
01:04:07.500 which is unusual since a normal wildfire season in canada is expected to wrap up by the end of august
01:04:13.420 environment canada meteorologist sebastian schwinard said canada will also see an above
01:04:18.920 normal hurricane season with 17 to 24 named storms expected to hit canada by the end of the year
01:04:25.920 oh the 30-year average is 14 named storms a year he said most of these storms are expected to
01:04:33.320 largely affect the atlantic provinces in quebec of course he's only just guessing
01:04:37.840 of these named storms in 2024.
01:04:41.200 It's like this article is already saying,
01:04:42.860 yeah, they happened.
01:04:46.120 Three are expected to be category three to five hurricanes.
01:04:49.420 Ooh, recent studies show, ha,
01:04:52.740 climate change likely has an impact
01:04:55.300 on the increase in the number of major category
01:04:58.160 three to five hurricanes,
01:04:59.860 while at the same time demonstrating
01:05:01.260 that peak winds are becoming more intense.
01:05:03.420 Okay, so what studies are you talking about?
01:05:05.600 And exactly how credible are these studies?
01:05:07.840 Mr. Schwinard
01:05:10.140 Public Safety Canada official said there were currently 474 active fires burning across Canada
01:05:16.580 Of these, 167 are out of control, including 5 currently active still in Jasper
