00:05:30.000 Hello, everybody.
00:05:58.700 Hey, welcome to Shadow at Night.
00:06:00.000 This is Tuesday, March the 11th, 2025, on the show tonight.
00:06:03.760 Well, there was a pissing contest between Doug Ford and Donald Trump,
00:06:09.860 but not really Donald Trump, more like Donald Trump's representatives and Doug Ford.
00:06:15.140 I'm going to tariff the electric power that we send to the United States.
00:06:18.900 And they do send power to the states.
00:06:20.480 They send it to New York.
00:06:21.940 They send it to Michigan.
00:06:22.820 I believe they send it to Ohio.
00:06:24.920 and it's not really a huge part of the exports that Canada sends down to the United States.
00:06:31.780 It's about 3% maybe, and it doesn't all come from Ontario.
00:06:35.000 Some of it comes from Quebec, some of it comes from British Columbia,
00:06:38.140 some of it comes from Manitoba because it's hydroelectric power, right?
00:06:41.980 So yes, it would affect many, many people.
00:06:45.240 Donald Trump was going to call a national emergency for the areas affected,
00:06:50.060 but then there was kind of a truce and trump came out and said today that he respects a very strong
00:06:58.780 man up there i don't think he named him by name because he probably couldn't remember
00:07:02.280 but doug ford came out did a press conference today which was very different than his appearance
00:07:07.680 on cnn last night and we're going to get to all of that in just a second the shadow with night
00:07:12.980 live stream as always is brought to you by canadananosilver.com canadananosilver.com here
00:07:19.880 find out more about them is amazing it has several natural health benefits and it's been used for
00:07:25.400 hundreds of years for health and healing that's the main reason they made silverware from silver
00:07:30.220 but seriously this nanosilver from silverseuticals is the best and safest silver you can find
00:07:35.000 there are hundreds of studies and reports on it i've read some of the studies myself and it's
00:07:39.640 mind-blowing. One of the things that sets silverseuticals apart is that it washes out of
00:07:43.720 your body in 24 hours. No silver buildup and no turning blue. And it won't even harm the good
00:07:49.240 bacteria your body needs. It's so effective they can use very small concentrations of silver,
00:07:54.700 like 10 and 32 parts per million, and still outperform other silvers that have up to 3,000
00:07:59.900 parts per million. It's safer and more effective at the same time. It is an incredibly small
00:08:05.620 particle that is small enough to work through your body, but big enough not to fall out of
00:08:09.640 suspension. They infuse it into almost all of their products. It works in facial serums,
00:08:14.080 toothpaste, gels, and even gummies that work to help your immune system.
00:08:18.220 No turning blue. That's the big thing. Find out more at CanadaNanoSilver.com or you can call
00:08:23.720 Kevin and Anna at 204-808-9292. It is CanadaNanoSilver.com. Let me throw this up on the
00:08:31.780 screen here for you guys let me take this off first and let me throw this up now all right so
00:08:36.840 there it is there's all well most of the products there immune gummies immune support the naked
00:08:41.840 bandage the nano silver gel pump nano silver liquid you've got the lozenges you've got the
00:08:47.360 skin cream you've got the recover muscle cream all the facial serums are there the nasal spray

00:09:56.720 I've worn this a lot lately for some reason I don't know I hadn't worn it in two or three years
00:10:01.120 then I put it on about a month ago and went oh this is comfortable sound issue sound is good
00:10:06.320 thank you Eddie all right let's begin the show tonight with Doug Ford on CNN last night a
00:10:15.340 transition in leadership as well you're about to have a new prime minister Mark Carney have you
00:10:20.720 spoken to him since he won, and where do you expect him to take this fight? Well, I spoke to
00:10:27.280 him yesterday. He's a very bright individual. He understands finances like no other person,
00:10:33.740 and we need to sit down, which we will tomorrow. We're going to have breakfast tomorrow morning,
00:10:38.940 and we'll have a strong strategy. All right, we're going to get to Mark Carney in just a second. I
00:10:46.740 I found an old, well, not that old.
00:10:49.000 It's about a three-year-old article on Mark Carney written for the National Post.
00:10:53.680 And it's kind of scary, actually.
00:10:57.100 I mean, all of the things that we've been hearing about him,
00:10:59.780 and I'm not sure how many of you guys have done a deep dive on Mark Carney,
00:11:03.440 but there's a lot of things to worry about, that's for sure.
00:11:07.800 In case he wins, in case the liberals win in this coming election,
00:11:12.040 which apparently is going to be called at some point in the next couple of weeks.
00:11:15.980 hello Tammy watching from south of Roblin on Facebook tonight Trent's watching in Lloyd

00:11:37.960 calling the idiot Doug Ford is it Doug Ford you're calling the idiot hello Susan in Scarborough 1.00
00:11:43.400 Hello, Ben's Cabin. Ben's Cabin. Sorry, not Cabin. It looks like Ben's Cabin. It's all one word. Ben's Cabin. How you doing? 1.00
00:11:56.400 Glow is watching tonight. Self-serving SOB. I guess you're talking about Ford, huh?
00:12:01.020 Jeffrey is watching. Derek. Wow, a lot of bad language in the comments tonight. That's all right. You guys got a vent. It's a good place to do it.
00:12:08.800 This is Doug Ford from This Morning.
00:12:13.140 Now, look at the change in demeanor and language.
00:12:16.120 A little while ago, I had an opportunity to speak to Secretary Lutnick.
00:12:22.140 And Secretary Lutnick has sent out an olive branch to us to come down and immediately meet with him,
00:12:31.180 meet with the whole trade administration, and discuss the future.
00:12:36.380 Rather than waiting until April 2nd, does it look like he's nervous?
00:12:42.460 He looks sweaty to me, out of breath.
00:12:45.060 Then again, he is way overweight, so that could be just a regular thing for him.
00:12:49.280 I don't know.
00:12:50.640 And what's that he's wearing?
00:12:51.840 Is that a painting smock?
00:12:53.060 Did we interrupt his painting session?
00:12:56.460 It does not look like a suit jacket to me whatsoever.
00:12:59.460 He looks maybe a little bit relieved and possibly a little bit scared, too.
00:13:07.080 Let's continue.
00:13:08.120 Threats going back and forth, tit for tat.
00:13:11.380 I've agreed to suspend temporarily, and we always have that tool in our toolkit,
00:13:18.700 until we sit down over the next day or two.
00:13:22.100 I'll be heading down to Washington along with Dominic LeBlanc,
00:13:26.580 and we'll have a good discussion you know with any negotiation that we have there's a point that
00:13:34.700 both parties are heated and the temperature needs to come down and i thought this was the right
00:13:40.480 decision they understand how serious we are about the electricity and the tariffs and rather than
00:13:48.320 going back and forth and and having threats to each other we have both agreed that cooler heads
00:13:55.340 prevail we need to sit down and move this forward this is a massive massive deal the USMCA
00:14:02.780 which the federal government will be leading the charge I'll be sitting down with all our
00:14:09.140 premiers tomorrow as well and discussing this and their issues as well so we're going to go down
00:14:17.440 there and we're going to go down there with confidence we're going to go down there with
00:14:21.960 strength and again hopefully we can move this forward i feel as a as a province and i only speak
00:14:29.680 for the province of ontario i want to reaffirm i do not speak for any other premiers everyone's
00:14:37.340 very patriotic and we have the best premiers i've ever seen but we're going to be talking
00:14:43.500 about the usmca moving forward the worst thing that could happen is wait and let this drag out
00:14:51.860 until april the 2nd so we're going to move forward and have a very good conversation
00:14:58.180 with secretary lutnik and the whole trade team as he said and hopefully we can move this move
00:15:04.820 this forward because it doesn't benefit anyone as i told them no matter if it's the auto sector
00:15:10.500 or or any other sector here in canada and specifically ontario uh and all eyes all i
00:15:19.620 mentioned assembly lines will shut down in the u.s and canada the stock market is tumbling over
00:15:28.100 four trillion dollars consumer confidence has went down i said it's absolute chaos out there
00:15:35.780 right now we need to move forward jointly i emphasized how canadians love americans and i
00:15:42.980 And I know Americans love Canadians, but going back and forth with each other, it just hurts both countries.
00:15:50.860 So I want to thank Secretary Lutnik for reaching out, putting that olive branch.
00:15:57.820 And I've been in business a number of years, a lot of negotiations.
00:16:01.880 And part of the last negotiation, when someone does that, you have to respect that person for putting out that olive branch.
00:16:10.820 and i'm going to make sure we go down there and have a very good but strong and confident
00:16:16.620 conversation yeah okay so when you get down there if trump decides he's going to come down
00:16:24.880 and meet you doug he's going to tune you in first of all what are you doing going down to the united
00:16:34.660 states it should be the prime minister should it not wait a minute we don't really have one right
00:16:39.740 now or do we have two we've got a prime minister designate we've got a prime minister who stuck
00:16:44.400 his tongue out yesterday while taking his house of commons chair out of the building
00:16:48.300 just like the blackface photo from 20 or 30 years previous nothing changes with that guy
00:16:57.560 doug ford is going like doug ford is a premier yes he's right in saying that he only represents
00:17:03.540 the province of ontario but for goodness sakes we need national representation here and
00:17:09.720 dominique leblanc is the finance minister yeah he said the other day by the way he said dominique
00:17:14.980 said that he's not very good at math can somebody please tell me what it is with these liberals
00:17:24.440 appointing people to the finance position which is the second highest position in cabinet behind
00:17:30.680 the prime minister why they continue to appoint people to that position that don't know what they
00:17:37.220 are doing so here's the article today it came from the associated press trump halts doubling
00:17:43.620 of tariffs on canadian metals after ontario suspends electricity price hikes so perhaps
00:17:50.840 at least for the next 24 hours the temperature has come down just a little bit matter of fact
00:17:55.760 here is donald trump today addressing the media and talking about doug ford even though i don't
00:18:02.260 I think he mentions him by name, the Canada situation, and a few other things.
00:18:06.000 And Elon Musk is right next to him.
00:18:07.640 Here you go.
00:18:08.020 In Canada, and I respect very much, as you know, there's a very strong man in Canada
00:18:13.460 who said he was going to charge a surcharge or a tariff on electricity coming into our country.
00:18:20.260 He has called, and he said he's not going to do that.
00:18:23.600 Okay, he's not going to do that.
00:18:25.640 And it would have been a very bad thing if he did.
00:18:27.660 And he's not going to do that, so I respect that.
00:18:29.860 But we were just informed that he's not going to do that.
00:18:33.520 Look, we've been treated very unfairly by Canada.
00:18:36.880 We've been treated very unfairly by Mexico.
00:18:39.740 But we've been treated very unfairly by every country all over the world. 0.94
00:18:43.120 The European Union is horrible, horrible.
00:18:46.440 And we're going to get it back. 0.96
00:18:49.140 And I have a choice.
00:18:50.160 I could just coast.
00:18:51.500 And eventually there'd be a blow up down the road, maybe a long way.
00:18:56.240 But we owe $36 trillion.
00:18:58.020 dollars and we're going to get it back we're the biggest we're the best and i'm very optimistic i
00:19:03.940 have to tell you i'm very optimistic about the country much more optimistic this way than if i
00:19:10.180 did it the easy way i could have done it the easy way i could have coasted biden left us a mess he
00:19:16.420 left us tremendous inflation tremendously high costs of products he left us a mess but he also 0.55
00:19:22.260 left us a mess with millions of people that poured into our country that are criminals 0.98
00:19:26.980 Millions of those people happen to be criminals, and we're looking for them all over the place.
00:19:31.620 We're looking for them, and Holman and Christie are doing an incredible job.
00:19:35.860 But he left us a horrible situation, and we're changing it.
00:19:40.340 But one of the things we're changing is we're going to make our country really wealthy again.
00:19:44.520 We're going to bring our jobs back.
00:19:45.980 Right now, we're like a chicken that's being plucked at from all over the world.
00:19:49.900 We're not going to let that happen anymore.
00:19:53.440 Chicken that's being plucked at from all over the world.
00:19:56.100 You know, somebody put up a great meme today.
00:19:58.560 I can't remember if it was on Instagram or Facebook or X or whichever,
00:20:03.620 but it was Canada is like that buddy who's been sleeping on your couch for two years.
00:20:09.760 And when you finally say to him, hey, look, man,
00:20:12.040 maybe it's time to find your own place to live.
00:20:13.960 He gets all pissed off and says, why are you attacking me, man?
00:20:16.660 I'm not doing anything wrong.
00:20:20.880 Now, it was an American that posted that, obviously.
00:20:23.640 but if that's how they see us and that's the way Trump has been depicting not just Canada I guess
00:20:30.220 but Mexico and the rest of the world as you just saw in that clip then yeah I would say that he's
00:20:36.260 probably got a point I mean we've been getting a lot of stuff from the United States gratis for
00:20:41.600 the past 70 or so years now we've given them some stuff back but not nearly as much as they've given
00:20:48.480 to us in terms of military protection, especially. I mean, we haven't been able to protect. If the
00:20:53.960 United States dropped all military protection for Canada, just said, nope, nope, you're on your own.
00:20:59.580 Do you think that our forces right now in the area of about 40,000 personnel
00:21:04.280 and maybe some reserves of 5,000 or so, do you think they could protect the borders of this
00:21:10.640 country? No, no, they could not. They definitely could not. Let's stay with that press conference
00:21:17.760 for a while another clip at least because donald trump mentioned speaking of military
00:21:24.160 that there is a ceasefire at least a temporary one with ukraine and russia but very importantly
00:21:30.000 and i said it ukraine uh ceasefire ukraine ceasefire just agreed to a little while ago
00:21:38.080 now we have to go to russia and hope president hopefully president putin will agree to that also
00:21:42.720 and we can get this show on the road we can get we can get this horrible war where two three thousand
00:21:48.480 soldiers a week every week two three four thousand sometimes i get the reports and they're not
00:21:54.400 american soldiers they're ukrainian and they're russian but people are being killed outside of
00:22:00.240 that people are being killed in the cities as things explode throughout the cities and we
00:22:06.080 want to get that war over with so i think i think it's a very big i think it's a big difference
00:22:11.520 between the last visit you saw at the oval office and the soap that's a total ceasefire ukraine has
00:22:19.040 agreed to it and hopefully russia will agree to it we're going to meet with them later on today
00:22:24.800 and tomorrow and hopefully we'll be able to wipe out a deal but i think the ceasefire is very
00:22:29.680 important if we can get russia to do it that'll be great if we can't we just keep going on and
00:22:34.800 people are going to get killed lots of people all right there's elon musk with donald trump again
00:22:41.520 which some people find a little bit creepy, including myself, I have to say.
00:22:45.120 Like, why are you always there, Elon?
00:22:46.680 Like, what's going on?
00:22:49.220 Trump can handle himself on his own.
00:22:51.060 And if there's somebody beside him, should it not be J.D. Vance, the vice president?
00:22:55.340 Just seems weird to me that Elon, yes, he is a special employee of the government.
00:23:01.460 He heads up the Doge department.
00:23:03.040 There was a protest, by the way, against Doge today.
00:23:06.540 And I'll play you some video of that a little bit later on in the show.
00:23:09.500 But Musk, dude, I mean, you've got a lot of other stuff going on.
00:23:13.380 You've got SpaceX, you've got your car company there, Tesla.
00:23:17.140 You've got X, which was down for a bit yesterday.
00:23:20.320 I was mentioning this on the show last night because half the show last night did not appear on X.
00:23:25.480 We seem to be functioning okay on X tonight.
00:23:28.380 But Elon Musk gives us a little bit of insight in this clip as to what happened with this platform yesterday.
00:23:34.140 What happened? But there was a massive cyber attack to try to bring down the X system with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area.
00:23:43.740 Oh, well, so that's your suspicion. Is the website, is the Internet up? Is it up yet?
00:23:49.500 It's up. It's up yet. OK, good. But I just was looking.
00:23:53.620 All right. The attacks on Donald Trump continue in Canada, but from the lesser lights, right?
00:23:58.400 Like Jagmeet Singh, what's the NDP down to in the polls?
00:24:02.020 Not that we care about the polls so much, because they've been so virulent lately.
00:24:06.780 They've been everywhere.
00:24:08.600 Virulent, that's not the right word.
00:24:09.960 Volatile, that's what I was going for.
00:24:12.000 They have been incredibly up, incredibly down, depending on who's doing the polling.
00:24:17.480 Don't bother with ECOS or NANOS, I would suggest.
00:24:21.540 Probably Leger is your best bet, because they're the ones who have been the most accurate
00:24:27.540 through the last three elections, at least.
00:24:30.520 Anyway, if we're going to go with polls, let's say the NDP has dropped from where they were about a month and a half ago, which is 19, 20 percent.
00:24:38.560 They're down to 10 and in some polls showing nine.
00:24:41.780 So naturally, Jagmeet Singh and his people are a little bit desperate and they're throwing anything at the wall, hoping something sticks.
00:24:48.100 And here's Jagmeet Singh saying that now he said this before, but he was more adamant about it today because Donald Trump is a convicted felon and he should not be allowed in Canada. 0.79
00:24:57.300 Right now, Donald Trump is a convicted felon.
00:25:00.520 As a convicted felon, as a convicted criminal, he needs an exemption to come into our country. 0.92
00:25:06.060 Normally, with dignitaries, and I use the term very loosely when I'm talking about Donald Trump,
00:25:11.280 they would receive an exemption signed by a minister.
00:25:14.860 My commitment is this, that no minister in a new Democrat government would sign an exemption,
00:25:20.000 give Donald Trump special treatment while he's attacking our country,
00:25:24.080 while he's attacking our sovereignty and attacking our workers.
00:25:26.980 my challenge is will mark carney and pierre polyev commit to do the same thing
00:25:30.680 that we will not let a convicted criminal who attacks our sovereignty into our country
00:25:35.080 while those threats continue
00:25:36.400 i mean donald trump is the president of the united states the most powerful country in the world
00:25:44.000 they always call the president of the united states the leader of the free world so yeah
00:25:48.280 good luck with that jagmeet good luck with that jimmy let's see how it works out but where do
00:25:52.240 you get the idea from convicted felon not allowed in the country well isn't jagmeet singh not
00:25:56.760 out in india which is where his family is originally from here's an article from global
00:26:02.580 goes back to march of 2018 says jagmeet singh now says he accepts that seek extremist masterminded
00:26:09.200 air india bombing there's video of jagmeet singh i'm not going to play it for you now but there's
00:26:15.020 video of jagmeet singh at a seek extremist meeting it looks like from 10 or 15 years ago before he
00:26:21.920 He even became an MP or an MPP, for that matter, in Ottawa.
00:26:25.520 Jagmeet Singh declared Thursday, again, this is five years ago,
00:26:28.060 that he accepts the findings of the Canadian inquiry into the Air India bombing
00:26:31.420 and condemns all that were behind the horror that killed more than 300 people
00:26:35.280 off the coast of Scotland in 85.
00:26:38.300 So, never mind all of this.
00:26:40.480 Let's go down here.
00:26:46.780 Yeah, here.
00:26:48.660 The opinion piece comes as Singh finds himself defending his appearances
00:26:51.680 at a number of other events in recent years,
00:26:54.060 which promoted the idea of Sikh independence, including one
00:26:57.060 in which he's seen sitting quietly beside a Sikh leader in England
00:27:01.360 who says his vision of Sikhism endorses violence
00:27:04.460 as a legitimate source of resistance and survival.
00:27:08.800 Singh needs to do more to denounce such sentiments,
00:27:12.060 said Yu-Jol Donsange, a former federal liberal health minister,
00:27:15.860 ex-premier of bc uh and a sikh who is a vocal critic of sikh separatism politician standing
00:27:23.100 next to a fascist doing a nazi salute is expected to speak out as they say politician standing next
00:27:30.080 to someone who promotes violence in the name of a cause uh and he's not allowed in india
00:27:36.680 singh who was born in canada to seek immigrants from the indian state of punjab says his words
00:27:44.780 and actions are informed by the experiences of his family and Sikh history, which is complex
00:27:48.600 and often tragic. That includes the government-ordered military raids
00:27:52.840 on Sikh separatists.
00:27:59.400 This is kind of a longish article. But somewhere
00:28:02.580 in there, I don't want to read the whole thing because it's a waste of good airtime,
00:28:06.960 but he is still, he was denied a visa
00:28:10.320 to go into India in 2013, and apparently he is still
00:28:14.620 not allowed there in india so maybe that's where the idea is coming from for jagmeet to
00:28:22.420 not allow donald trump into canada for the g7 conference which is coming up in a couple of
00:28:27.900 months here is mark carney our new prime minister designate yesterday afternoon about five o'clock
00:28:35.280 eastern time just had a long meeting with the prime minister we discussed the most important
00:28:40.500 issues for our country, obviously including Canada and U.S. relations, issues of national
00:28:46.620 security, and yes, the transition between the Prime Minister and myself, that transition
00:28:53.480 will be seamless and it will be quick.
00:28:58.640 Finally, I, as you may have heard, just had a meeting with the caucus.
00:29:03.520 There is tremendous energy in the Liberal caucus.
00:29:06.220 As you saw last evening, this is a united party full of energy to serve Canadians.
00:29:13.220 Can you say anything next?
00:29:15.220 I just wanted to vote Donald Trump.
00:29:17.220 He's going to take his side and deal with three to five when he signs an order.
00:29:20.220 I'll – I'll – what would you say?
00:29:23.220 The first thing, I'll – I'll – I'll – I'll – I'll – I'll –
00:29:35.220 First thing, I'm sure he's not going to sign an order directed at me, David, with respect to President Trump.
00:29:43.580 I'm not yet Prime Minister.
00:29:45.340 His interlocutor is Prime Minister Trudeau, and I look forward to the opportunity.
00:29:52.660 We will, as I said, I just spoke with the Prime Minister at length on issues around the transition.
00:29:59.540 It'll be quick.
00:30:00.800 We'll be coming back to you soon.
00:30:02.200 The good news is that you will be seeing probably more of me than you want, and you will have
00:30:09.200 other opportunities, and we'll be making an announcement on that.
00:30:12.200 What did you tell caucus today?
00:30:17.200 What did I tell caucus today? This is important. The first thing, I went to caucus today
00:30:22.200 because you start as you mean to go on. And we are a liberal team, and so it's incredibly
00:30:28.200 important for me to hear directly from the members of caucus the concerns of
00:30:32.100 Canadians on the ground, their priorities, as I said last night, they're the
00:30:37.220 voices of their communities and they're the conscience of the party. There's
00:30:40.860 tremendous energy in that group. We know this is a crucial time for our country.
00:30:46.740 We're united to serve Canadians and we will build this country.
00:30:52.860 I don't trust this guy as far as I could throw him.
00:30:59.400 More on Kearney coming up in just a second.
00:31:01.500 I've got some rather disturbing video to play for you that goes back a couple of years.
00:31:05.620 Also, Tiana Truthseekers thoughts on this with her latest video.
00:31:09.880 A couple of quick things here to let you know about or remind you of.
00:31:13.460 Helen Gruse, Detective Helen Gruse of the Ottawa Police Service.
00:31:17.040 Her verdict is coming out at some point this week.
00:31:19.800 Hopefully it could drop at any second.
00:31:21.760 Our friend Dave Freedom is on top of that.
00:31:24.100 Follow Dave on Facebook if you want to get the information the second it comes out.
00:31:28.900 And hopefully we'll get Detective Groose on the show at some point after the verdict is arrived at.
00:31:34.440 And possibly her lawyer, Bath Sheep of Vandenberg, could be coming on.
00:31:38.660 Tamara Leach dropped a post on social media that says their verdict, Tamara and Chris Barber's verdict, will be coming out on April the 3rd.
00:31:48.420 So that's only a few weeks away as well.
00:31:51.020 finally after all this time right don't forget to like and share whatever platform you happen
00:31:55.960 to be watching on tonight the shadow at night live stream as always is streaming live on facebook
00:32:00.160 on youtube again tonight we're on twitch we're on x we're on telegram the shadow at night community
00:32:05.920 there if you haven't joined that group go ahead join join telegram first and then go ahead and
00:32:10.280 join the group it's easy to find we're also broadcasting on rumble and of course shadow
00:32:14.580 davis.com all right let's bring this up here this is disturbing this is mark carney at what appears
00:32:21.680 to be a world economic forum or something like the world economic forum conference just a couple of
00:32:27.480 years ago i would say i see myself as part of the social movement i think those at the vanguard of
00:32:32.560 the social movement might see me as as being farther behind um and i've you know full absolutely
00:32:39.820 full credit, and I do in the book, to Greta Thunberg, who I've had the pleasure of meeting
00:32:45.160 several times, and who absolutely has catalyzed that movement, the youth movement, and also done
00:32:54.520 something incredibly valuable. And this is embarrassing to admit, but I think we should
00:32:58.260 admit it. And this is often true, by the way, in finance, very obvious truths are not fully
00:33:03.960 understood um in the in the system so what she hammered home was the carbon budget how small it
00:33:10.520 was how rapidly it was being depleted and we've moved in a few short years in part because of her
00:33:18.120 from a world of esg sustainability broader uh conversations around um as i say sustainability to
00:33:27.420 a relentless focus on net zero it's called the glasgow financial alliance for net zero for a
00:33:31.840 reason because we've moved to the relentless logic of having to get emissions down consistent
00:33:40.080 with the carbon budget. So in that regard, I'm part of that and part of mapping what people want to
00:33:48.580 the mechanisms, particularly in finance, in order to deliver it. I'm also, though, conscious of two
00:33:55.820 other things, Lionel. One is that, of course, net zero is, it's absolutely essential to stabilize
00:34:02.300 the climate, but that's not the same thing as protecting biodiversity. It's not the same thing
00:34:07.400 as having a just transition along the way. There are lots of other elements that are necessary to
00:34:12.240 this that these broader social movements rightly shine a light on. All right, so don't let him
00:34:22.840 fool you during his acceptance speech after the liberal leadership was announced the other night
00:34:28.620 he said i'm going to be getting rid of the divisive carbon tax what he didn't say is that 0.99
00:34:34.500 he's going to be replacing it with something worse okay so he is definitely the devil
00:34:43.960 somebody was saying the other night on the show that generally speaking the the higher-ups
00:34:51.000 world economic forum types Bilderberg types don't generally send one of their own to run in
00:34:58.460 politics usually they send a stooge and they will rule that stooge from afar kind of like
00:35:03.880 Justin Trudeau right or Joe Biden for that matter it seems as though in this case that
00:35:09.440 Justin Trudeau could not get that job done in Canada he came close we have to admit but he
00:35:14.940 couldn't get the job done they are sending one of their own to finish the job this article goes
00:35:22.220 back to june of 2021 it's written by peter foster the archives mark carney man of destiny wants to
00:35:30.120 revolutionize society did anybody vote for revolutionizing society anybody anybody it won't
00:35:39.760 be pretty uh so here is the article in his book values building a better world for all mark carney
00:35:54.900 former governor of the bank of canada bank of england claims that western society is morally
00:35:59.340 rotten and that it's been corrupted by capitalism which has brought about a climate emergency that
00:36:05.080 threatens life on earth this he claims requires rigid controls on personal freedom industry and
00:36:11.740 corporate funding does that sound familiar at all of course it does Carney's views are important
00:36:19.220 because he is at this time anyway UN special envoy on climate action and finance he's also
00:36:25.660 an advisor both to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wow on the next big climate conference
00:36:32.520 in Glasgow, which he was just talking about in that video that we watched, and to Canadian
00:36:37.900 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. And remember, this article goes back almost four years.
00:36:44.120 Since the advent of the COVID pandemic, Carney has been front and center in the promotion of a
00:36:49.820 political agenda known as the Great Reset, or the Green New Deal, or Building Back Better.
00:36:56.060 All are predicated on the claim that COVID and its disruption of the global economy provides a
00:37:01.540 once-in-a-lifetime opportunity not just to regulate climate but to frame a more fair
00:37:07.160 more diverse more inclusive more safe and more woke world Carney draws inspiration from among
00:37:15.520 others Marx that's Karl Marx Engels Vladimir Lenin but the agenda he promotes differs from
00:37:22.640 Marxism in two key respects first the private sector is not to be expropriated but made a
00:37:28.980 partner in reshaping the economy and society, and we've seen that happen already. Public-private
00:37:34.440 partnerships, right? Second, it does not make a promise to make the lives of ordinary people
00:37:40.300 better, but worse. Carney's brave new world will be one of severely constrained choice,
00:37:46.220 less flying, less meat, more inconvenience, and more poverty. Assets will be stranded. Used
00:37:52.540 gasoline-powered cars will be unsellable. Inefficient properties will be unrentable,
00:37:57.820 he promises the agenda's objectives are in fact already being enforced and again
00:38:05.140 this goes back almost four years or three years four years not primarily but and this was in the
00:38:12.340 national post guys this is the corporate media not primarily by legislation but by the application
00:38:20.540 of non-governmental that is non-democratic pressure on the corporate sector via the
00:38:25.840 ever-expanding dictates of ESG, environmental, social, and corporate governance, and by
00:38:31.020 sustainable finance, which is designed to starve non-compliant companies of funds,
00:38:36.160 thus rendering them, as Carney puts it, climate roadkill. What ESG actually represents is
00:38:42.860 corporate ideological compulsion. It is a key instrument of stakeholder capitalism.
00:38:49.360 Carney's agenda is promoted by the United Nations and other international bureaucracies and a vast
00:38:54.400 and ever-growing array of non-governmental organizations
00:38:57.300 and fora, especially the World Economic Forum
00:39:00.780 where Carney is a trustee.
00:39:02.160 Also, perhaps most surprisingly, by its corporate victims,
00:39:06.280 no one wants to become climate roadkill.
00:39:09.600 Carney clearly feels himself to be a man of destiny.
00:39:13.760 When I worked at the Bank of England,
00:39:15.540 he writes in Values, his book,
00:39:18.140 I would remind myself each morning of Marcus Aurelius' phrase,
00:39:21.420 Arise to do the work of humankind.
00:39:24.400 One is reminded of French aristocrat and social reformer Henri de Saint-Simon,
00:39:30.800 the grand seigneur Saint-Culotte, who ordered his valet to wake him with similar words.
00:39:35.840 Remember, Monsieur le Comte, that you have great things to do.
00:39:41.920 What does this guy think, he's anointed or something?
00:39:46.680 That is not the only thing Carney has in common with Saint-Simon, 0.97
00:39:50.300 who believed that society should be ruled by savants such as himself,
00:39:54.060 an alliance of engineers and other technocratic intellectuals, 0.77
00:39:57.700 along with bankers.
00:39:59.640 Carney is very much a banker technocrat,
00:40:01.840 not merely at ease gliding along the corridors
00:40:04.020 of global bureaucratic power,
00:40:05.800 but expert at framing arguments
00:40:07.840 that support an ever-expanding role for his class.
00:40:12.640 His expanse...
00:40:13.400 I'm just a little guy from the Northwest Territories.
00:40:16.380 I was a hockey goalie.
00:40:18.600 Uh-huh.
00:40:20.460 His expansive pretensions first appeared at the Bank of Canada.
00:40:24.060 If the economy is like a game of ice hockey, then central bankers should ideally be like
00:40:28.860 Zamboni drivers whose job is to keep the ice flat. Carney had in fact been a goalie during
00:40:34.880 his academic years at both Harvard and Oxford. At the Bank of Canada, he often seemed like the
00:40:39.300 Zamboni driver who thought he was Wayne Gretzky. He could never resist lecturing private businesses
00:40:44.340 to stop sitting on dead money or telling them they were too timid in the international arena
00:40:48.900 or advising consumers they were spending too little or borrowing too much.
00:40:53.520 He promoted macro prudence,
00:40:55.780 the idea that regulators in their panoptic wisdom
00:40:58.980 would focus on the forest, not the trees.
00:41:01.980 Now he wants to establish himself as an intellectual.
00:41:06.720 Carney has a lot to put straight with the world.
00:41:09.100 According to his book and the related BBC Reef lectures
00:41:12.600 that Carney delivered last year,
00:41:14.140 the Three Great Crises of Credit 2008-2009 version,
00:41:17.900 covid and climate are all rooted in a single problem people in general and markets in particular
00:41:25.940 are not as wise moral or far-seeing as mark carney he sums up this failing as the tragedy
00:41:32.360 of the horizon a phrase he concocted for a speech ahead of the 2015 paris climate conference
00:41:37.640 however carney is sophistic when it comes to the alleged moral shortcomings of capitalism
00:41:44.200 It's been one of the most tedious tropes of the left
00:41:46.700 since at least the Communist Manifesto
00:41:48.960 that the rise of commerce would drive out all that is virtuous in society,
00:41:52.980 leaving nothing but the cash nexus of trade.
00:41:56.260 One of Carney's favorite philosophers is Harvard's Michael Sandel,
00:41:59.660 who produces endless trivial examples suggesting
00:42:02.020 that we have moved from a market economy to a market society.
00:42:05.920 Should sex be up for sale?
00:42:08.200 Carney thunders following Sandel.
00:42:10.820 Should there be a market and the right to have children?
00:42:13.600 Why not auction the right to opt out of military service?
00:42:17.440 Why shouldn't universities sell admission to raise money for worthy causes?
00:42:21.260 But the very fact that people reflexively feel uneasy about or outright reject such notions entirely disproves his point.
00:42:28.780 People do not believe that everything is or should be for sale.
00:42:34.340 Carney notes the long debate, going back to classical times, on the nature of commercial value that
00:42:39.780 was theoretically resolved by the marginalist revolution,
00:42:43.020 which put paid to the paradox of value
00:42:45.420 that puzzled over the usually low price of useful water
00:42:48.180 and the usually high price of useless diamonds.
00:42:51.480 The marginalists pointed out that commercial value
00:42:53.720 isn't determined by usefulness or labor input.
00:42:57.520 It's inevitably subjective based on personal preference
00:43:00.460 and available resources.
00:43:01.960 There is no paradox.
00:43:03.980 Someone dying of thirst in the middle of the desert
00:43:05.820 might be more than willing to offer a bucket of diamonds
00:43:08.600 for a bucket of water however market valuations are essentially different from moral values a
00:43:16.260 distinction carney continually muddles he misrepresents the marginalist subjective
00:43:21.060 perversion or perspective claiming that it implies that anything not commercially priced
00:43:26.680 is not considered valuable market value he writes is taken to represent intrinsic value and if a good
00:43:34.320 or activity is not in the market, it is not valued. 0.99
00:43:37.540 But who holds such an idiotic view? 0.99
00:43:41.560 Nobody prices their family, children, friends, community, spirit 1.00
00:43:45.080 are the beauties of nature,
00:43:46.360 although there is certainly lots of calculation going on in the background.
00:43:50.600 Carney constantly berates market fundamentalist straw men
00:43:53.500 who employ standard economic reasoning
00:43:55.500 and who believe that people are rational and markets perfect.
00:43:59.900 He incorrectly claims that Adam Smith in his first great book,
00:44:03.500 The theory of moral sentiment said that a sense of morality was not inherent.
00:44:08.600 In fact, Smith believed that we are born with such a sense,
00:44:11.300 which is then fine-tuned by the society in which we grow up.
00:44:14.840 However, Carney, like all leftists, leans toward the blank slate,
00:44:20.480 nurture-over-nature perspective,
00:44:22.420 because it suggests that human nature might be beneficially reformed
00:44:26.060 under the right, that is, left, social arrangements.
00:44:30.880 Carney believes our moral sentiment started going astray
00:44:33.280 around the time of the publication of Smith's better-known book,
00:44:36.160 The Wealth of Nations, in 1776,
00:44:38.740 when the Industrial Revolution was beginning to take off.
00:44:42.480 He rightly suggests that one should read both books
00:44:45.260 to gain a full appreciation of Smith's insights,
00:44:47.660 but he seems to have missed the significance of Smith's put-down
00:44:50.420 of whining and melancholy moralists,
00:44:53.340 his cynicism about insidious and crafty politicians,
00:44:56.020 and his thoroughgoing skepticism
00:44:58.240 about those who would trade for the public good, that is, the ESG crowd.
00:45:05.580 Moreover, Smith noted that the greatest corrupter of moral sentiments was not commerce,
00:45:09.660 but faction and fanaticism, that is, politics and religion,
00:45:12.860 which come together in the toxic stew of climate alarmism and ESG.
00:45:19.440 ESG used to be called Corporate Social Responsibility, or CSR.
00:45:23.740 The Nobel economist Milton Friedman warned against its subversive nature,
00:45:28.240 50 years ago, he noted that taking on externally dictated social responsibilities beyond those
00:45:34.220 directly related to a company's business opened the floodgates to endless pressure and interference.
00:45:40.080 The big questions are responsibility to whom and for what. Carney also typically misrepresents
00:45:48.020 Friedman, suggesting that he claimed that shareholders should rank Uber allies and to
00:45:52.920 the exclusion of other legitimate stakeholders, such as employees and local communities.
00:45:57.520 Kearney claims that at times, large positive gains could accrue to society if small sacrifices were made on behalf of shareholders.
00:46:06.060 But by what right would management sacrifice shareholders, and who would decide which sacrifices should be made?
00:46:14.000 Kearney admits that the integrated reporting required by ESG is a morass.
00:46:19.100 ESG ratings consider hundreds of metrics, with many of them qualitative in nature.
00:46:23.680 putting values to work is hard work but as with value it should become easier with sustained
00:46:29.140 practice no need to ask whose version of values and virtue is to prevail despite his thorough
00:46:36.020 castigation of market society Carney somehow also believes this corroded society is clamoring to
00:46:42.480 make great personal sacrifices for draconian climate actions and the UN sustainable development
00:46:48.360 goals. Carney has been a prime pusher of net zero. The notion that climate-related human
00:46:54.780 emissions must be entirely eradicated, buried, or offset by 2050 if the world is to avoid
00:47:00.440 climate Armageddon. He claims that net zero is highly valued by society. In reality, the vast
00:47:07.720 mass of people have no clue what it entails. When Carney talks about this version of society,
00:47:12.920 He is talking about a small, radical element of it.
00:47:18.020 Carney peddles the non sequitur that because the world wasn't ready for COVID,
00:47:22.180 this confirms that the world is being short-sighted about climate catastrophe.
00:47:26.800 But COVID is an obvious reality.
00:47:29.580 An existential climate catastrophe is a hypothesis,
00:47:33.260 frequently promoted, admittedly, with great success by those with agendas.
00:47:37.740 He claims that a good introduction to this subject can be found in journalist David Wallace Wells,
00:47:42.020 the uninhabitable Earth, a work
00:47:44.000 heavily criticized, even by prominent
00:47:45.860 climate change scientists, for
00:47:47.960 its factual errors and
00:47:49.580 exaggerations. Indeed,
00:47:52.040 even its author admitted its
00:47:53.540 tendacious purpose.
00:47:57.060 Carney also commends
00:47:57.980 the knowledge and wisdom of Swedish teenager
00:48:00.020 Greta Thunberg.
00:48:01.920 The power of Greta Thunberg's 0.96
00:48:03.780 message lies in the way she drives
00:48:05.940 home both the cold logic of climate 1.00
00:48:08.020 physics and the fundamental unfairness
00:48:09.920 of the climate crisis.
00:48:12.020 anybody who cites an anxious 17 year old as an authority on climate science and moral philosophy
00:48:19.760 should be an object of deep suspicion but then according to Carney climate science is easy
00:48:25.820 Greta's basic calculations are ones that she should easily master and powerfully project 0.78
00:48:31.240 Carney says he once gave Greta a tour of the Bank of England's gold vaults one wonders if she also
00:48:36.560 offered up tips on monetary policy. But then, in early 2020, Greta demonstrated her complete
00:48:44.400 disconnect from reality when, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, she called for an
00:48:49.320 immediate cessation of emissions which would tank the world economy and potentially kill
00:48:53.960 millions. Even Carney admits deviating from her wisdom on that point.
00:48:59.660 Far from demonstrating a firm knowledge of the climate system himself, Carney cites scary but
00:49:04.720 misleading statistics. Since the 1980s, he writes, the number of registered weather-related loss
00:49:11.320 events has tripled and the inflation-adjusted losses have increased five-fold. Consistent with
00:49:16.620 the accelerated pace of climate change, the cost of weather-related insurance losses
00:49:20.960 has increased eight-fold in real terms over the past decade to an annual average of $60 billion.
00:49:28.960 I asked Professor Roger Pilkey, Jr., an expert on climate and economics at the University of
00:49:34.660 colorado to comment he replied carney has confused economics with weather
00:49:39.140 the increase in losses he describes is well understood to occur for two main reasons more
00:49:45.400 wealth and property exposed to loss and better accounting for those losses to assess trends in
00:49:50.760 extreme weather one should look at weather data not economic loss data among mark carney's current
00:49:57.160 responsibilities since leaving the bank of england as its governor is advising justin trudeau
00:50:03.600 Carney's confusion is hardly innocent since his agenda depends on incessantly claiming
00:50:08.260 what had been biblical is becoming commonplace.
00:50:13.760 Fortunately, Carney has been making claims about worsening weather for long enough
00:50:18.340 that we can assess some of his predictions.
00:50:20.820 In his recent book, Unsettled, What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn't, and Why It Matters,
00:50:26.200 Stephen Coonan, former Undersecretary for Science at the Obama-era U.S. Energy Department,
00:50:31.000 cites the speech Carney made to Lloyd's of London
00:50:33.420 before the Paris Climate Conference in 2015.
00:50:37.220 The speech was designed to frighten the insurance industry
00:50:40.020 into divestment from fossil fuels
00:50:41.980 on the basis that many oil and gas reserves would be stranded
00:50:45.180 as we exhaust our allowable carbon budget.
00:50:49.100 Carney pointed out that the previous UK winter
00:50:51.300 had been the wettest since the time of King George III.
00:50:55.080 He went on to say forecasts suggest we can expect
00:50:57.340 at least a further 10% increase in rainfall during future winters.
00:51:01.000 For support, he cited the U.K. Met Office's forecast for the next five years.
00:51:05.860 Turned out to be dead wrong.
00:51:07.880 The six winters after 2014 averaged 39% less rainfall than the 2014 record.
00:51:13.880 Meanwhile, a Met Office report in 2018 acknowledged that the largest source of variability in U.K. extreme rainfalls during the winter months
00:51:21.180 was the North Atlantic oscillation mode of natural variability, not a changing climate.
00:51:28.880 It's surprising, said Kuhnit, that someone with a Ph.D. in economics and experience with the unpredictability of financial markets and economies as a whole doesn't show a greater respect for the perils of prediction and more caution in depending upon models.
00:51:45.180 During his BBC Reef lectures last year on the topic of how we get what we value, Carney received few challenges from his handpicked questioners, but a couple came from eminent historian Niall Ferguson.
00:51:56.720 And Ferguson asked Carney why, in his discussion of the climate issue, he made no reference to Bjorn Lomberg, a much more knowledgeable Scandinavian than Greta Thunberg, and in particular to Lomberg's book False Alarm, in which Lomberg establishes using official science that there is no existential climate crisis, that adapting to climate change is manageable,
00:52:20.160 and that the kinds of policies promoted by Carney are likely to be far more costly
00:52:25.120 than any impact from extreme weather.
00:52:28.040 Carney, of course, hadn't read that book, but he dismissed Lomborg by saying
00:52:31.760 it's 15 or 20 years ago when he first came out with his don't worry about the climate.
00:52:37.360 How's that working out for us?
00:52:38.660 But Lomborg never said don't worry about the climate.
00:52:40.980 He just suggested that we had put risks into perspective.
00:52:44.440 Meanwhile, Lomborg's non-alarmist thesis is working out much better
00:52:47.940 than that of doomsayers like Carney.
00:52:50.160 This offhand rejection of someone as widely respected as Lomburg exposes the hypocrisy of Carney's statement in Values, the book, that experts need to listen to all sides.
00:53:01.600 All of us as individuals have a responsibility to be more open to engage respectively with different views if we want constructive political debates and to make progress on important issues.
00:53:11.640 Except climate catastrophe dissenters don't make it into the debate.
00:53:16.040 There can be zero diversity of views on net zero.
00:53:19.000 ferguson put another thorny question to carney at that reflexure he pointed out that since
00:53:25.300 the 2015 paris agreement china had been responsible for almost half the increase
00:53:30.580 in global carbon emissions and it was building more coal capacity in the current year than
00:53:35.380 existed in the entire united states what did china's promises of net zero by 2060 mean ferguson
00:53:42.320 asked if it was actually leading the pollution charge carney's non-response was that china is
00:53:48.220 the largest manufacturer of zero-emission cars
00:53:50.880 and the leading producer of renewable energy.
00:53:53.980 Koonin notes in his book that Carney is probably
00:53:56.580 the single most influential figure in driving investors
00:53:59.820 and financial institutions around the world
00:54:02.480 to focus on changes in climate and human influences upon it,
00:54:06.920 so it's important to pay close attention to what he says.
00:54:10.960 Mark Carney cries crocodile tears at the possible viability
00:54:14.480 of the Marxist perspective in today's political environment,
00:54:17.420 But if there's one sure sign of a Marxist, it's a belief that capitalism is, or is about to be, in crisis.
00:54:26.660 His new book has an appendix on Marxist theory of surplus value that all profits are wrung from the hides of labor.
00:54:33.680 He also cites Marxist collaborator Frederick Engels in particular.
00:54:37.920 He notes Engels' pause, the one period in capitalist history early in the 19th century,
00:54:43.080 when workers may not have shared the increases in productivity brought about by industrialization.
00:54:49.800 Carney projects that the fourth industrial revolution, a phenomenon much invoked by the
00:54:54.920 World Economic Forum, might bring about a similar period, thus providing a source of political
00:55:00.060 unrest. It could be generations before the gains of the fourth industrial revolution are widely
00:55:05.520 shared, he writes. In the interim, there could be a long period of technological unemployment,
00:55:11.000 sharply rising inequalities, and intensifying social unrest.
00:55:15.140 If this world of surplus labor comes to pass,
00:55:17.460 Marx and Engels could again become relevant.
00:55:21.000 He rather seems to hope so.
00:55:23.560 Carney claims powerful parallels between Marx's time and our own.
00:55:29.260 Substitute platforms for textile mills,
00:55:31.620 machine learning for the steam engine,
00:55:33.300 and Twitter for the telegraph and current dynamics
00:55:35.440 echo those of that era.
00:55:37.300 Then, Karl Marx was scribbling the Communist Manifesto
00:55:40.340 in the reading room of the British Library today.
00:55:43.660 Radical viral blogs and tweets voice similar outrage.
00:55:48.700 In fact, Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto
00:55:50.980 based on a tract by Engels in Brussels,
00:55:53.480 not at the British Library,
00:55:54.680 but it's more important to remember
00:55:56.060 where Marx's misguided and immutable outrage
00:55:59.160 led to a disastrous economic and political model
00:56:03.440 that generated poverty and mass murder
00:56:05.700 on an unprecedented scale.
00:56:08.140 Meanwhile, outrage is surely a dubious basis for policy.
00:56:12.320 The outraged are certainly a useful constituency for those seeking power, however,
00:56:17.220 which brings us to the influence of Carney of the man who first tried to put Marxism into practice.
00:56:23.840 When it comes to the COVID crisis, writes Carney,
00:56:27.040 we're living in Lenin's observation that there are decades when nothing happens and weeks when decades happen.
00:56:32.540 strange that Carney would cite one of the most ruthless murderers in history for this rather
00:56:37.480 bland insight but then Carney's agenda is not without its own parallels to Lenin minus one
00:56:43.280 presumes the precondition of a rampant bloodshed although Vladimir Lenin didn't know much about
00:56:49.700 business or economics he declared that communism is Soviet power plus the electrification of the
00:56:54.800 whole country. Carney's plan is global. We need, he claims, to electrify everything and turn
00:57:02.560 electricity generation green. The problem is that wind and solar-powered electricity needs both
00:57:08.100 hefty government subsidies and fossil fuel backup for when the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't
00:57:12.640 shine. Green electricity is inflexible, expensive, and disruptive to grids. Carney cites Joseph
00:57:19.160 Schumpeter's concept of creative destruction, but his own version involves not the metaphorical
00:57:25.160 and benign process of market innovation, making old technologies redundant, but a deliberate
00:57:29.760 suppression of viable technologies to make way for less reliable and less economic alternatives.
00:57:37.320 When Lenin wrecked the Russian economy after brutally seizing power in 1917,
00:57:42.880 he was forced to backtrack and allow some private enterprise to prevent people starving. However,
00:57:47.800 he assured his radical comrades that he would retain control of the commanding heights of heavy
00:57:53.300 industry carney's plan is to control the global economy by seizing the commanding heights of
00:57:59.540 finance not by nationalization but by exerting non-democratic pressure to divest from and stop
00:58:06.420 funding fossil fuels the private sector is to become a partner in imposing its own bondage
00:58:11.860 this will be do-it-yourself totalitarianism indeed companies in our one-party esg state
00:58:18.500 are already pleading like show trial defendants making suicidal net zero commitments lest banks
00:58:24.180 cut them off to further that and carney has helped to start a key organization the network for
00:58:31.360 greening the financial system a collection of central banks and regulators he's also signed
00:58:36.500 up for an ever-growing constituency of activist policy wonks who peddle emissions measurement
00:58:41.320 and certification, eco-audits, ESG rankings.
00:58:44.900 This agenda is inevitably appealing to transnational organizations
00:58:48.460 such as the International Energy Agency, the IMF, the World Bank, and the OECD,
00:58:53.940 whose empires are all lucratively intertwined with the global government's thrust.
00:58:59.300 In May, the IEA issued a report calling for an immediate end
00:59:04.680 to fossil fuel investment to get to net zero.
00:59:06.860 Part of Carney's strategy is to force voluntary standards on banking and industry.
00:59:13.520 Then have governments make those standards compulsory.
00:59:16.380 The major accounting firms appear keen to promote the possibility of endless auditing extensions,
00:59:22.080 under which the relatively straightforward metric of money is to be replaced by the infinitely malleable concepts of purpose and impact.
00:59:29.400 My friends, this goes on and on and on and on and on.
00:59:33.080 but i think we've read enough about what mark carney wants to do with canada
00:59:41.660 and will do with canada should he be elected as the next prime minister he's already been appointed
00:59:47.920 to that position and we have no idea if or when an election is going to be called
00:59:53.580 we do hear it's going to be called in the next couple of weeks but that's only hearsay for now
00:59:59.220 We can't confirm or deny that.
01:00:00.940 What we do know is that political parties are opening campaign offices,
01:00:04.400 wrapping planes and buses, and preparing for a campaign.
01:00:09.120 We hear that the election date could be as early as April 23rd.
01:00:13.940 But again, this is only speculation.
01:00:17.140 In the meantime, the Conservative Party of Canada is now finally releasing attack ads on Mark Carney.
01:00:23.060 I want you to watch this and tell me if you think it's impactful at all.
01:00:27.100 trying to explain a bit of how the economy works uh one of the thank you so much well it may help
01:00:32.820 our economy is stronger than the american economy uh in the medium term our economy was weak before
01:00:38.940 we got to the point of these threats from president trump i'm trying to explain okay but
01:00:45.420 you acknowledge that the consumer would pay more at some point well the consumer is already paying
01:00:50.400 more yeah just to be clear the consumer is already paying more how the economy works what the uh the
01:00:55.860 big companies are producing, by and large, are not products that we are consuming. There's some
01:01:01.340 element of that, but by and large, you know, a steel company, how much steel are you using
01:01:05.800 these days, Todd? I'm trying to explain a bit of how the economy works. Biggest supplier of
01:01:11.220 semiconductors. We supply almost all their semiconductors. That whole, you know, everybody
01:01:16.480 in the White House is a tech bro, except for Trump. They all need semiconductors. They all
01:01:21.200 come from
01:01:22.940 Canada.
01:01:24.520 Maybe they won't.
01:01:35.980 What do you think?
01:01:41.020 Do you think that that ad is
01:01:43.200 at all impactful for anybody
01:01:45.020 thinking about voting for Mark
01:01:47.060 Carney?
01:01:47.400 anybody I'm looking at the comments right now I'm going to go up to rumble and see what you 0.99
01:01:54.360 guys are saying over there yeah you're calling him a liar I get it he is a liar he's a known liar 0.68
01:02:08.460 but are those ads impactful after that long uh essay that i just read you regarding what 0.50
01:02:17.820 mark carney actually intends to do not just with canada but with the world even though
01:02:23.200 his banking alliance is falling apart because of donald trump
01:02:26.920 carney is definitely trying to save something of it for a new world order that's how he sees things
01:02:38.460 Yeah, you know, this is Randy, Roseanne, Bev, a lot of people are saying that's an incredibly weak, weak commercial.
01:02:52.160 Very, very lame.
01:02:55.860 What I think they should be doing, hang on, let me play you this one first.
01:03:00.060 This is like 30 seconds.
01:03:01.060 It goes back to the time when Paliyev, when he was a bulldog, was grilling Mark Carney in committee. 0.99
01:03:07.800 it was during covid so it was over zoom but watch this do you believe that the chinese 0.77
01:03:15.400 government is perpetrating a genocide on the uyghur people uh 0.97
01:03:21.600 put shareholder profits aside and just focus on humanity's government is perfect 0.97
01:03:28.840 look at his delay in responding look at the look on his face we know what the chinese government 0.93
01:03:35.900 but has been doing to the Uyghur people, the Muslim Chinese, for years now.
01:03:39.700 They've got them in concentration, re-education camps over on the west side of China.
01:03:45.680 Two million of them, apparently.
01:03:47.500 And they're shipped by train to other work camps in that area. 1.00
01:03:52.120 That's what's happening over there with the Uyghur people in China.
01:03:55.920 And when Paliyev poses this question to Mark Carney, look at his response.
01:04:00.240 Look at it. 0.98
01:04:01.720 Perpetrating a genocide on the Uyghur people. 1.00
01:04:05.900 uh put shareholder profits aside and just focused on humanity here for a moment i don't i'm focused
01:04:14.480 on human i spend uh so yes or no focus on humanity which is dedicated to my uh i'm deeply concerned
01:04:21.260 by the situation and with yes or no thank you very much mr poly of unfortunately shareholders
01:04:26.340 first out of time out of time out of time all right so he did not want to say anything to upset
01:04:33.120 the Chinese government because he is in bed with them too as the world economic forum Bilderberg's
01:04:38.900 China all work together for a new world order the fourth industrial revolution look at this big
01:04:46.340 huge article here from aa.com China congratulates Mark Carney for becoming leader of Canada's
01:04:52.820 ruling party China has always advocated developing relations on the basis of mutual respect equality
01:05:00.860 and mutual benefits as foreign ministry spokesperson.
01:05:05.120 All right, our guy's in charge now.
01:05:08.960 You do understand that Canada is completely compromised 1.00
01:05:11.460 by the Chinese, mostly, when it comes to foreign interference. 0.96
01:05:15.080 And if you want to know more about any of that stuff,
01:05:18.160 I suggest you go and subscribe to Sam Cooper
01:05:20.200 at the Bureau on Substack.
01:05:22.200 We're still trying to get Sam on the show.
01:05:23.720 so yeah mark carney will absolutely destroy this country my idea for an attack ad campaign on him
01:05:35.580 paint him as the devil just paint him as the devil period now the conservatives are probably
01:05:43.460 thinking well the average normie is not going to go along with that they don't know what the world
01:05:48.360 Economic Forum is. They don't know how dedicated Mark Carney is to this net zero climate change
01:05:54.220 agenda. They have no concept of his love for Karl Marx. They don't even know who Karl Marx and
01:06:00.120 Vladimir Lenin are. The average Canadian doesn't know. And they won't know because they don't care
01:06:08.340 to know. And these people are going to be allowed to vote. So what we need to do
01:06:15.440 is wake those people up or at least let them know that this guy is not everything that he claims to
01:06:21.920 be. And furthermore, if Mark Carney is such a change candidate, like he keeps telling everybody,
01:06:29.400 then why does he have the almost exact same cabinet that Justin Trudeau has or had for the
01:06:36.280 last five years? He brought Marco Mendicino back yesterday as his chief of staff, for goodness
01:06:42.120 sakes none of the cabinet ministers who were in positions uh their positions before have been
01:06:48.380 fired or changed out he's not a change he's been advising justin trudeau for five years and i am
01:06:57.620 certainly hoping praying that the conservative party perhaps even the people's party of canada
01:07:03.420 can come up with some kind of amazing marketing campaign to make sure this guy never ever ever
01:07:10.880 sees an elected light of day as prime minister of our country.
01:07:16.000 Here's the latest piece from our friend Tiana Truthseeker regarding Canada.
01:07:19.820 Now, the beginning, you might be going,
01:07:21.800 huh, what's she talking about?
01:07:23.780 But watch it right till the end.
01:07:25.240 It's about five minutes.
01:07:26.000 You don't know what it's like being Canadian. 1.00
01:07:27.640 It's basically like living in the Ruby Frankie house. 0.82
01:07:30.140 If you don't know who Ruby Frankie is,
01:07:32.080 she was a vlogger on YouTube. 1.00
01:07:33.800 She had millions of followers, and now she's in jail. 0.99
01:07:36.460 Let me just show you.
01:07:37.900 This is Ruby Frankie. 1.00
01:07:39.120 She abused her kids for fame. 1.00
01:07:40.880 So Ruby Frankie's entire thing was just to seem like the perfect mom, perfect wife, and perfect family to the outside world. 1.00
01:07:47.480 Meanwhile, she was physically, emotionally, and mentally abusing her kids in the back.
01:07:51.760 The dad is now pretending he had absolutely no idea any of this was happening, even though he was there the whole time.
01:07:57.880 And she finally went to jail because the kids ran away from home and said, hey, we need help, even though they've been screaming for help for years.
01:08:03.980 That's exactly what is happening in Canada right now.
01:08:06.500 40% of Canadians can see that there's an issue or pointing out problems are
01:08:11.240 asking for help and they represent the kids in the family 60% of Canadians love
01:08:17.300 gaslighting if you point out any single problem they take it as a personal
01:08:21.140 attack because their entire programming has been told to make that perfect
01:08:26.060 image of Canada like we're friendly we're this we're like naive meanwhile 0.78
01:08:32.060 that's all surface level most Canadians 60% are just backstabbers crab in the
01:08:36.480 bucket kind of people who would rather vote against their own good just to virtue signal
01:08:42.160 and that's because they've been programmed that way it doesn't even matter if you're talking about
01:08:45.980 like politics if you're talking about work if you're talking about family related kind of things
01:08:50.040 a lot of canadians love gaslighting and pretending like everything's okay when it absolutely isn't
01:08:55.580 and so it's really hard to actually fix a problem so a lot of you are like well wouldn't us being
01:09:00.600 absorbed by the united states fix all of that yeah but then we're doing a disservice to americans 0.88
01:09:05.280 by inviting 60% of these, like, unstable, like, cuckoo Canadians 0.87
01:09:10.200 to just roam around and also vote? 1.00
01:09:13.300 Like, they just finally got rid of their crap system down here in the United States, 0.98
01:09:19.000 and we're just going to invite 60% of, like, worse than Democrats and the U.S. Canadians in here? 0.99
01:09:25.720 Like, that's not a solution for the U.S.
01:09:28.160 So if you want to take Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northern B.C., absolutely go for it.
01:09:32.200 but like I honestly think the long-term solution to even Canada not being a country but a corporation
01:09:37.280 is to kick out the monarchy and every province become its own entity because you can't really
01:09:42.300 solve a problem when you have 60 percent of Canadians gaslighting you and telling you there 0.98
01:09:46.880 isn't a problem if there isn't let them stew in their own garbage and just let them like tank the 0.85
01:09:52.600 entire thing and then don't let them in don't let them into anywhere just make sure that they stay 0.95
01:09:57.840 where they are so that they can swim in their own doo-doo that they have created because these
01:10:03.460 people are not part of the solution they're actually part of the problem and they're keeping
01:10:07.040 the problem going and their entire mentality is to just show the world how perfect they are because
01:10:12.540 they're too lazy and failed as individuals to actually improve their own lives and improve
01:10:17.020 the state of the country and that is just programming that is unfortunately the truth
01:10:22.460 in Canada so if you want long-term solutions the only solution is to become a republic for
01:10:27.420 every single province and then people can move to whatever province that they think of politically
01:10:32.260 um kind of you know resonates with themselves
01:10:35.180 interesting you know i've been thinking the same thing i think i've been mentioning it on the show
01:10:40.760 as well that each province you know and and is each province is its own entity it is if you go
01:10:49.280 back to confederation that's what it's all about if each province decided to just say
01:10:55.480 enough with this confederation garbage we're not getting anything out of it notably
01:10:59.900 alberta they would be should be the first ones to say that followed closely by saskatchewan 0.82
01:11:05.660 but could they survive on their own i mean yes of course saskatchewan has got the rare earth
01:11:13.900 absolutely they've got the agriculture not so much in the manufacturing department alberta
01:11:19.020 the oil and gas obviously again not so much in the manufacturing department yes there is
01:11:24.520 manufacturing that happens there but not nearly enough to sustain itself or themselves as
01:11:30.760 separate countries manitoba actually ironically does have a lot of manufacturing and we do have
01:11:38.040 a lot of rare earth and some oil and gas but none of that has been really explored or not much of
01:11:43.500 it has been really explored because of environmental issues and environmental lobbies
01:11:48.660 and governments being too jelly-spined to stand up against these people.
01:11:55.640 So I would suggest, and Trump knows this as well, he knows how Canada votes.
01:12:00.960 Do you think Donald Trump wants Ontario? No.
01:12:03.480 That's why he's threatening to put tariffs on the auto industry.
01:12:08.340 He doesn't want Ontario. He doesn't want Quebec.
01:12:11.440 He doesn't want the Maritimes.
01:12:13.240 He may in the future, but what he wants,
01:12:16.640 He doesn't want to bring a bunch of people into his country who are going to vote Democrat
01:12:20.020 if he wants to truly make the entire country of Canada the 51st state.
01:12:24.600 He'll just take bits and pieces of it,
01:12:27.140 knowing how they vote and knowing what these particular provinces have.
01:12:31.620 That's my opinion.
01:12:34.400 There was a Doge protest today.
01:12:36.540 I want to show you this video.
01:12:37.660 It's hilarious.
01:12:38.040 These government employees, federal government employees in the United States,
01:12:42.560 rebelling against Doge, poking around in their business.
01:12:45.220 They don't like that at all because they're lazy. Watch.
01:12:47.680 When you're on your weekend and you get the fork in the road message or you get the subsequent five bullets.
01:12:56.940 Hey, what the hell did you do? You lazy federal worker this week. 0.98
01:13:01.820 How frightening is it that someone on X, the owner of X, speaks to you directly to say, 0.88
01:13:14.860 what did you do last week at work, and if you don't answer, I am going to fire you.
01:13:22.360 But even more egregious, the president comes out, the most powerful person in the land,
01:13:30.400 and endorses that message.
01:13:34.560 How do you think that makes federal workers feel?
01:13:40.400 I think maybe she feels a little bit sick 0.99
01:13:42.500 and she's wearing a mask to protect everybody else.
01:13:47.420 Since when is it wrong for the boss to walk up to an employee
01:13:51.580 and say, so what have you been doing?
01:13:52.940 What's going on?
01:13:54.140 How's it going?
01:13:55.260 What have you accomplished in the past week?
01:13:57.160 What is the matter with that?
01:13:58.580 That's what bosses are supposed to do.
01:14:00.400 isn't it? They're trying to find efficiencies in their government. They're trying to save, 0.99
01:14:04.440 as Trump said earlier, what, $36 trillion. And they're doing it with Doge. And they're making
01:14:10.620 sure that people who do work for the federal government are working. That's the bottom line.
01:14:16.760 That's all it is. And these people have become so soft and complacent and self-important
01:14:21.780 that they're holding rallies
01:14:24.440 against actual corporate structure.
01:14:30.060 Against the chain of command.
01:14:33.540 It's amazing to me.
01:14:35.440 Why was that woman wearing a mask?
01:14:36.840 Is she still scared of COVID?
01:14:38.480 I wonder how many vaccines she's had.
01:14:41.200 She's going to be very happy about this story.
01:14:43.420 Look at this.
01:14:44.580 From McMaster University,
01:14:45.880 the Faculty of Health Sciences
01:14:47.280 made at McMaster inhaled COVID-19 vaccine.
01:14:51.780 begins phase two human trial.
01:14:55.080 Where are they getting these people from?
01:14:56.940 This news came out yesterday.
01:14:59.080 Researchers at McMaster have started a phase two clinical trial
01:15:02.440 on a next generation inhaled COVID-19 vaccine.
01:15:07.760 The AeroVac study, supported by $8 million in funding
01:15:11.640 from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research,
01:15:14.220 will test needle-free vaccines developed to provide protection from SARS-CoV-2.
01:15:19.260 led by fiona smally smalil and zhu jing members of the michael g de groot institute for infectious
01:15:29.800 disease research at mcmaster the multi-center trial will evaluate the new vaccine in a broad
01:15:34.900 study group while also confirming safety of course while the current needle-based
01:15:41.940 COVID vaccines have prevented a tremendous amount of death and hospitalization.
01:15:52.260 They haven't really changed a lot of people's experience with getting
01:15:56.040 recurrent infections, says Smallil, a professor in the Department of Pathology and Molecular
01:16:02.280 Medicine. So we're looking to change that by providing robust protection directly at
01:16:06.300 the site of infection. For the new trial, researchers hope to include 350 participants
01:16:12.940 from across Canada at clinical trial sites in Hamilton, Ottawa, Halifax. Those eligible for
01:16:18.600 participation must have at least three doses of an mRNA COVID vaccine, have never received the
01:16:24.860 AstraZeneca vaccine, have not had a COVID infection or COVID vaccination within three months prior to
01:16:30.880 enrollment, have no diagnosis of lung disease, be available to attend trial visits in person,
01:16:35.440 be between the ages of 18 and 65.
01:16:38.100 You want to be a guinea pig?
01:16:39.080 Go ahead.
01:16:39.740 Oh, I'm doing it for the betterment of society.
01:16:44.620 What's the Newfoundland Premier's first name?
01:16:46.580 The guy who's just announced he's quitting.
01:16:49.460 Andrew?
01:16:51.820 Doesn't matter.
01:16:53.160 Newfoundland Premier Fury from a few years ago
01:16:55.860 talking about those vaccine passports,
01:16:58.060 just as a reminder.
01:16:58.900 Speaking of vaccinations,
01:17:00.560 I'd like to also take the opportunity today
01:17:02.400 to inform people that we will be moving towards
01:17:04.620 a COVID-19 vaccine passport. A few weeks ago, I asked Minister Hogan, Minister Hagey, and
01:17:11.260 Minister responsible for services in L to continue to work towards a vaccine passport.
01:17:19.740 After doing a jurisdictional scan, we have come back with a reasonable alternative for our province,
01:17:25.880 and that is adapting something similar to what's happening in Quebec.
01:17:30.140 premier you've talked about vaccination passports as a way to kind of nudge people to get
01:17:35.180 vaccinated because we need to get our numbers higher so how much of this barring unvaccinated
01:17:41.020 people from restaurants for example is because it's a health issue and how much of this is because
01:17:46.140 we just need more people to go and get vaccinated yeah i think it's a perfect combination of both
01:17:50.380 it's a it's a behavior modification and nudge so to speak in turn in terms of getting a higher
01:17:56.140 uptake but it's a behavior modification and nudge so to speak but overall as a general principle
01:18:03.940 the higher the rate of vaccination the better the public health scenario so it's it's not really one
01:18:09.280 or the other it's both working in concert to achieve a common goal let me let me put on my
01:18:17.520 mask now you see that was one one of the biggest things to me and we talked about this with brett
01:18:21.500 sears last night the guy who got all those p hack emails we're going to discuss in just a second
01:18:26.860 mask on mask off mask on mask off well i need to speak into the microphone so i'm going to
01:18:33.160 take my mask off and contaminate the microphone for whoever wants to speak into it next
01:18:37.840 then i'm going to put my mask back on and sit here like
01:18:41.680 either wear the mask or don't wear the mask.
01:18:47.440 And that should have told people, everybody,
01:18:52.220 right then and there,
01:18:53.160 that this whole thing was nothing but a pile of BS.
01:18:57.260 Mask on, mask off.
01:18:58.820 But if you took your mask off for a second
01:19:00.760 in Shoppers Drug Mart, 1.00
01:19:02.320 now with trans models in the window, 1.00
01:19:05.320 you would be attacked. 0.96
01:19:06.300 Canadian Tire, attacked.
01:19:07.820 Police, attacked.
01:19:11.680 wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, arrested, ticketed, charged.
01:19:18.520 You were a villain of society. 0.93
01:19:21.640 Amazing.
01:19:23.860 All right, so you recall last night we had Brett Sears on.
01:19:26.920 He's the guy who got the PHAC emails on the FOIA request he made three and a half years ago.
01:19:32.420 The first bunch is dumped.
01:19:34.580 He's got December 2019.
01:19:36.040 And from the substack of Dr. Jessica Rose, who's looked at these.
01:19:41.680 she says the tam emails and thanks brett for his a tips a thick of emails heading our way as the
01:19:48.380 product of access to information act requests made by brett sears to have a look-see into
01:19:53.000 theresa tam's thinking or lack thereof since the onset of the covet era i went through the first
01:20:00.540 two of many docs the first one is 265 pages the other is 182 saw a lot of stuff about vaping some
01:20:06.540 stuff on marijuana, DEI crap, and a tidbit on fighting vaccine hesitancy. First document,
01:20:13.080 the Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy in Ontario proposal, pages 15 through 16, outlines a
01:20:17.760 multi-pronged communication strategy to combat misinformation via school newsletters, websites,
01:20:24.280 and printables. This reflects government interest in controlling narratives to ensure
01:20:28.280 public compliance with health measures like vaccination crucial during pandemics.
01:20:36.540 isn't that december 10th 2019 date interesting dr rose says the vaccine hesitancy proposal
01:20:47.540 suggests a standardized website with vaccination schedules disease explanations and frequently
01:20:53.620 asked questions managed by public health authorities the centralized approach could
01:20:58.140 extend to pandemic messaging consolidating government influence over public behavior
01:21:02.740 these are from december of 2019 there was no pandemic not yet the proposal's focus on
01:21:12.140 integrating sick day policies and hygiene education in ontario schools on page 16 shows
01:21:17.660 how governments might use educational systems as control points for health enforcement a tactic
01:21:23.360 scalable to pandemics future goals in the proposal included a digital vaccination record
01:21:29.480 system and a unified canadian vaccination schedule oh wow go follow dr jessica rose
01:21:39.400 on substack for more and while i'm at it if you have time inclination and a little bit of
01:21:46.260 expertise in digging through multiple pages of bs follow brett sears on x you can find him at
01:21:54.920 brett1t brett underscore sears he's got about 88 000 followers and he's looking for people to help
01:22:02.540 him out each month he's going to be getting another month's worth of emails and we need to 0.98
01:22:08.220 break all of this stuff down already the bomb has been dropped about those inuit children being
01:22:12.940 vaccinated with an experimental rsv vaccine without parental consent or knowledge do you
01:22:20.920 guys know who Robert David Steele was? Well, according to Wikipedia, Robert David Steele
01:22:27.380 was a former CIA. Let me throw this up on the screen here for you. He was a former
01:22:33.240 American case officer for the CIA, co-founder of the United States Marine Corps Intelligence
01:22:40.160 Activity. And of course, he was a conspiracy theorist. Robert David Steele, who died about
01:22:46.140 four years ago was big into investigating the disappearance of children and worldwide he held
01:22:53.600 many different inquiries about it we're going to play some video from robert david steel in
