00:03:30.000 Hello everybody, welcome to the Shadow Davis Show
00:03:47.460 This is Thursday, September the 24th, 2026
00:03:50.700 And tonight I'm live on all the platforms
00:03:52.500 Because I got such an encouraging video message today
00:03:59.440 our friend rosalie drysdale who's running for mayor in the rm of saint clemens in manitoba
00:04:04.580 was out again today canvassing knocking on doors like she's been doing for the past i don't know
00:04:10.100 four or five six months now and she ran across a woman named barb today and i guess my name came
00:04:16.360 up in conversation and so rosalie said well why don't you send him a video or make a video
00:04:22.140 to let them know what you think of them and so they recorded a video and uh rosalie texted it
00:04:30.020 to me a couple of hours ago and i was i was incredibly moved by that so i wanted to come
00:04:36.840 on tonight for one reason only out here on all the social media platforms and that is to say
00:04:43.000 hello to barbara hartwell and thank you barb for your very kind words i appreciate them very much
00:04:55.140 and sometimes somebody like me who comes on and does a show every night and has been for
00:05:03.700 six years now coming up on six years sometimes you forget that there are actually people out
00:05:11.240 there paying attention to the things you say. It's true. You just turn on the microphone after
00:05:16.820 everything you've prepared for the day and go, all right, here we go. And you see some comments
00:05:21.360 from time to time and you see people say certain things, but generally speaking, it's usually the
00:05:25.860 same people who are making comments because all of the other people watching seem a little bit
00:05:31.380 too shy to maybe comment. And I think guys, it's time if you're one of those shy people to come
00:05:36.980 Muddy your shells and let the world know what you think.
00:05:40.060 It's one of the only ways we're ever going to get out of the mess we're in.
00:05:44.580 If the quiet people finally stand up, put their names and faces out there and say,
00:05:50.060 this is all so stupid.
00:05:53.920 Everything that's going on right now in the world is so freaking stupid, I can't stand it.
00:06:00.340 And I don't care who thinks that I'm a bigot or an extremist or a fascist or a racist or whatever, a homophobe, a transphobe, whatever.
00:06:12.740 I don't care anymore.
00:06:13.960 It doesn't matter.
00:06:15.220 I think what needs to happen is people need to get rid of that fear that they're going to be insulted and ostracized by the people around them.
00:06:26.360 Because ultimately, you're going to have to stand up at some point.
00:06:29.120 so I always say sooner is better than later and if we show them I mean look at how many people
00:06:37.100 out there believe a man can become a woman really surgery hormones makeup dress whatever how many
00:06:44.460 of you guys actually believe that that transformation is real that it can be done
00:06:51.860 now if i were standing in front of a live audience of
00:07:00.800 5 000 people right now i don't think one hand in that crowd would be up
00:07:05.620 okay so we know that we're the majority of people
00:07:12.620 we feel it but we don't express it we don't say it because we're scared
00:07:21.140 the second we show that we are not just the majority but the overwhelming majority
00:07:26.800 is the second that this whole thing implodes on them now a left-wing corporate media reporter
00:07:34.440 asked the leader the interim leader of the conservative party of british columbia yesterday
00:07:38.940 are you going to fight this this culture war and this election campaign are you going to start
00:07:43.620 talking about soji in schools and the leader interim leader of the bc conservative party said
00:07:49.980 no no no no what you're going to hear about from us is straight talk and getting bc on the right
00:07:55.060 track economically and and whatever and i think that that lost a lot of grassroots support for
00:08:03.960 him even though a new poll came out today showing the conservatives two days after the election call
00:08:08.500 from david eby in the lead from an angus reed survey that was done just a couple of days ago
00:08:13.760 so we'll we'll look at that later on but i don't know how long that kind of support is going to
00:08:19.540 last if they continue to stay away from that and maybe even the NDP brings it up and says you want
00:08:25.940 to fight the culture war what the BC conservatives need to say is you started the culture war by
00:08:32.060 trying to teach our kids in schools that men can be women women can be men and that people should
00:08:37.660 be ashamed of their country because it's white supremacist because that's in fact what they're
00:08:42.700 being taught and not just in BC either but BC right now is a flashpoint because of this election
00:08:47.680 so yeah we do have to fight this culture war that they started if we want things to ever return to
00:08:54.040 something resembling normal ever again so we're going to get into that a little bit later on in
00:08:58.800 the show tonight in the meantime our media has hit peak stupidity i woke up this morning pretty early
00:09:08.600 it was like 7 15 7 30 something like that and i say a headline that said mark carty prepares for
00:09:15.640 u.s invasion this was on left-wing corporate ctv i went what mark carney prepared for u.s
00:09:23.800 military style invasion something along those lines it was like a fear headline something
00:09:29.560 straight out of a movie a post-apocalyptic movie and i laughed and i went what the hell
00:09:36.460 are these people doing i understand how media works the new york times 10 new york times
00:09:42.400 journalists, did an interview with Mark Carney yesterday or the day before when he was in New
00:09:47.240 York for the UN. And they asked him, one of these idiot New York Times journalists said,
00:09:54.880 are you worried about a U.S. invasion into Canada, given the, you know, the stress and
00:10:00.920 the tension of this trade war that both countries are locked into right now? And he actually sat
00:10:05.920 and pondered the question. We're going to go into this in just a second. He sat and pondered the
00:10:10.640 question and then he gave a non-answer as typical politicians will do right but then because of that
00:10:17.420 it's all over the left-wing corporate media in canada this morning and they're trying to make
00:10:21.860 it seem like trump is going to invade even though he said a year and a half ago will you invade well
00:10:28.900 the media asked him will you invade canada he said no no no no no we're not going to use military
00:10:33.620 pressure, economic pressure. Somebody is calling me here. May I have two seconds? I think this
00:10:42.020 might be a crank. Hello? Yeah, I've had this weird ass marketing thing. Have you guys had
00:10:51.680 this as well? This weird ass marketing thing. Hello? I guess we missed you. This is Rachel
00:10:58.060 with a very important message that could change your life.
00:11:03.280 That's happened like half a dozen times today.
00:11:05.560 Where was I?
00:11:07.220 Was I talking about Trump and the 51st state stuff?
00:11:10.120 Okay, we're going to get into all of this
00:11:11.600 as the evening goes on tonight.
00:11:13.640 First things first, let's go to Juneau News
00:11:16.020 for the first story, and that is
00:11:17.360 Carney wants to prepare for a U.S. invasion
00:11:20.240 that isn't coming.
00:11:25.220 I just, I laughed.
00:11:28.060 trump has floated canada becoming the 51st state yeah we've heard this over and over and over again
00:11:33.760 but now suddenly 18 months later there's going to be an invasion but ruled out military force
00:11:41.620 saying he'd only use economic force yes yes yes yes yes yes yes i just said that matter of fact
00:11:47.280 we got a clip to play for you in just a couple of minutes that will show you in case you missed it
00:11:52.460 a year ago or so. Mark Carney says it would be irresponsible not to prepare for the possibility
00:11:59.760 of U.S. military action against Canada, even as he describes the scenario as an extreme tail risk,
00:12:06.540 which is an economic expression, by the way, not a military one. In an interview with the New York
00:12:13.080 Times published yesterday, Carney said he'd examined the possibility of U.S.-led military
00:12:19.040 action against canada describing it as an extreme tail risk that's not a base case uh but it would
00:12:24.460 be irresponsible not to prepare for the possibility carney told the newspaper he characterized the
00:12:30.400 exercise as just risk management it would be irresponsible not to prepare for the americans
00:12:38.920 invading canada militarily so of course the cbc makes a big deal out of it and they get one of
00:12:44.940 those New York Times journalists who was in on this interview on this morning to discuss it.
00:12:50.620 And here's a segment from that. As he studied the possibility of a U.S. military attack on Canada,
00:12:57.060 it is unprecedented to hear that publicly from a Canadian prime minister. Carney told this to
00:13:02.160 the New York Times and said, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but the way they dress that it's unprecedented
00:13:06.720 to hear that from a Canadian minister. Yes. Let's whip up the fear, everybody.
00:13:11.780 let's whip up the absolute the anger the fear all the negative emotions so we can win the next
00:13:18.240 election it wouldn't surprise me at all if carney calls the snap election sometime in early 2027
00:13:23.160 just like eb did in british columbia by the way eb's not running against the conservatives he's
00:13:28.860 running against donald trump too like seriously a provincial premier could do anything about this
00:13:34.960 of course not anyway let's continue would be irresponsible not to prepare for the worst case
00:13:41.720 scenario, even if it's remote. In the room, when Carney said that, Matina Steves-Gridnaff,
00:13:48.180 the Canada Bureau Chief for the New York Times. Matina is with us now. Good morning.
00:13:52.940 Good morning, David.
00:13:53.980 There can be things that are lost when you are not physically in the room. What was that moment like?
00:14:04.180 The Prime Minister came into New York Times headquarters yesterday after his United Nations
00:14:09.200 engagements in new york and there were 10 of us and one of him so just to set the scene a little
00:14:15.360 for for your audience uh and the interview went on for an hour it was all on the records very
00:14:20.880 wide-ranging um when we asked him if over the past 18 months the thought had you know crossed
00:14:28.000 his mind seriously that there was a risk of the united states using military force against canada
00:14:36.260 The prime minister paused for several seconds.
00:14:39.260 I'm talking pregnant pause and took a deep breath and clearly was very closely reflecting on exactly the words he was going to use.
00:14:48.500 So we had, as I said, a very, very meaningful, long interview with him.
00:14:53.260 And this was really a moment that stood out not only for what he said, but also for how he said it and how he clearly reflected deeply in what he was going to say.
00:15:02.920 I think, Matina, for many Canadians, and you will have a sense of this, there has been...
00:15:07.920 I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
00:15:10.420 But if these people are serious journalists, and they've been told to do this,
00:15:17.740 I can't imagine how they're holding back the feelings of absolute disgust and disdain right now.
00:15:25.600 I don't see any of that on their faces or hear it in their voices.
00:15:29.180 So they must be taking this seriously.
00:15:32.920 which means that they're completely stupid.
00:15:40.680 Even if this scenario did unfold in front of us,
00:15:45.040 you got to know that the Americans could take Canada in hours
00:15:49.400 and they wouldn't even have to invade.
00:15:51.100 They could just shut down all of Canada's vital infrastructure
00:15:53.700 with computers in the United States.
00:15:57.080 Because you know how much Canadian infrastructure
00:16:00.040 is powered by American parts?
00:16:02.920 pretty much all of it and it's all controlled in the united states traffic lights street lights
00:16:10.220 computers wireless networks all of that kind of stuff
00:16:14.820 they wouldn't have to lift a finger to completely disable canada and if they did want to take us
00:16:23.160 militarily what do they do they come into ottawa take over parliament and then go into every
00:16:29.620 major city in the country and take over the legislatures every capital city and take over
00:16:35.100 the financial district in toronto that's it game over and maybe a cfb somewhere in alberta
00:16:43.220 maybe cfb edmonton the one that's been gearing up for war for the last 12 months
00:16:49.020 that's it game over and put military blockades on each coast so no exports come in and no imports
00:16:57.960 go up or the other way around i'm an importer exporter hot van de lake sorry seinfeld reference
00:17:05.800 anyway let's continue on with this in that kind of water cooler talk how might the americans invade
00:17:13.240 what are the odds that they actually do it but i can see a little bit of a smirk on his face here
00:17:17.800 this guy can you underscore for us just how remarkable it is to have a head of government
00:17:24.440 say that you're totally right that to have the the head of government say this um is is next
00:17:31.320 level it is remarkable i think the prime minister uh wanted to answer honestly we did ask him um
00:17:37.720 if he had taken and what kind of preparation he had made for this um you know extreme scenario
00:17:43.320 and he declined to answer yeah what did he do get his dr evil big boy rocket ship ready to go
00:17:52.280 has he got a plane on standby taking off for europe the second he hears about an american
00:17:59.760 invasion oh my god not to be outdone by the cbc ctv came off with their own thing about this today
00:18:07.700 it's comical move away as you've just done from the headline and look more at the substance of
00:18:14.520 what he said in essence what i retain from what prime minister carney said was it's his job to do
00:18:21.360 risk management for canada and when you have the president of the united states even though it's
00:18:27.020 donald trump and most of what comes out of his mouth is nonsense uh musing about making canada
00:18:32.900 the 51st states it would be as carney said irresponsible let me ask you this why is it
00:18:39.480 every political commentator and almost every journalist that goes on left-wing corporate
00:18:45.260 media in canada and mentions donald trump has to say even though it's donald trump and then
00:18:50.540 insert insult here why on earth do they feel as though they have to do that
00:18:55.960 don't they understand they're just making the situation worse and worse and worse
00:19:01.900 don't they get that for him not to take that at face value and say okay the risk is extremely
00:19:08.160 small but it is there when you're doing a full risk analysis and we've got to have some preparation
00:19:14.000 for it i don't think it can be fairly read as saying that canada was making military
00:19:18.380 preparations but there's certainly an analysis that's been done of what that would look like
00:19:23.540 we're not in the same place in other words marcia as ukraine that had spent several years training
00:19:30.200 purchasing weapons getting ready for what they expected which was a russian invasion
00:19:36.200 we're not in that boat and frankly i think that if you look take the measure of the respective
00:19:41.620 sizes of our armed forces it's not something that should be considered seriously but it is
00:19:46.700 something that he has to look at when it's on his radar screen it's not because somebody imagined it
00:19:52.140 in some vague committee on parliament hill in ottawa it's because donald trump said he was
00:19:57.600 going to try to make canada the 51st state so he he actually did have to look at these things and
00:20:02.300 he's doing it responsibly but okay there's something called institutional memory that
00:20:09.920 canadians most canadians seem to lack that institutional institutional memory is basically
00:20:15.460 remembering something on the same topic that happened 12 to 18 months ago, right?
00:20:24.880 So you should, you should have recall and you should be able to go, wait a minute,
00:20:28.900 wait a minute. Did Donald Trump ever mentioned invading Canada? Like ever? He was asked about
00:20:34.300 it. You know what? I'm going to go. And now we have the information superhighway at our fingertips.
00:20:38.480 We can go and find these videos at our leisure just to see for ourselves exactly what's been
00:20:44.540 said, as opposed to the ramblings of this ridiculous, childlike left wing corporate media.
00:20:52.560 So Donald Trump was doing a press conference at Mar-a-Lago back in January of 2025. And he was
00:20:57.920 at that's when he first started using 51st state stuff. And Trudeau was still the prime minister
00:21:02.620 and all of that. So here is a left wing corporate media journalist asking Donald Trump back then
00:21:09.240 If he plans to invade, listen to his response.
00:21:12.560 Are you considering military force to acquire Panama and Greenland?
00:21:17.680 Are you also considering military force to annex and acquire Panama?
00:21:21.320 No, economic force, because Canada and the United States, that would really be something.
00:21:28.520 You get rid of that artificially drawn line, and you take a look at what that looks like,
00:21:33.760 and it would also be much better for national security.
00:21:36.200 Don't forget, we basically protect Canada.
00:21:38.180 but here's the problem with canada so many friends up there uh i love the canadian people
00:21:45.640 they're great but we're spending hundreds of billions a year to protect it we're spending
00:21:51.180 hundreds of billions a year to take care of canada okay so what's happened in canada too
00:21:57.920 is the liberals have somehow managed to equate themselves with canada specifically mark carney
00:22:06.340 mark carney is canada to many of these elbows up people right now oh there was a great ai video
00:22:14.240 that dropped today let me see if i can find this this pretty much explains everything about canada's
00:22:19.240 current plight right now i just need to be able to to find out what i did with it
00:22:25.260 it's here somewhere you guys give me two seconds
00:22:31.780 oh yeah here it is now i'm not sure if you saw this or not but this is pretty much the real deal
00:22:43.740 here okay so it's half well it's funny but it's also sad because it's true because they've let
00:23:11.760 the media influence their thinking i mean you just saw those two clips you see what i mean
00:23:18.660 there's people who put 100 of their trust in the media and the media is just a bunch of bs
00:23:28.140 you know caroline levitt she used to be the white house press secretary until she quit a couple of
00:23:32.520 months ago right here she is explaining how the left-wing corporate media actually frames the
00:23:39.060 story how they manage to completely turn something upside down it's not very hard watch fake news
00:23:45.160 is manufactured you'll have a hack journalist who comes up with a narrative on their own that they
00:23:50.820 think is true about the president or the white house and they love the palace intrigue stories
00:23:54.380 this person's fighting with that person in this that's like 90 of my job was batting down fake
00:23:59.820 stuff and they'll find a source who has no idea what they're talking about was not in the room
00:24:05.900 doesn't even work at the White House, maybe works on the campaign as like a volunteer staffer for
00:24:11.240 one day. And they'll say a source close to President Trump told us this, like, who's your
00:24:15.660 source? Because I was in the room. So I'm a better source than them. And I'm telling you, this did
00:24:19.300 not happen. They'll still write it. All they need is two sources, one to say that happened, another
00:24:24.900 for them to call and say, I heard this happen. That person will say, yeah, that probably sounds
00:24:28.180 right. And then the story is written. And you can have the White House aggressively on the record
00:24:33.140 pushing back and they'll still print it'll be in the front page of the paper the next day they just
00:24:38.180 seek to get a bad narrative and they'll find anyone who helps them push that narrative that's
00:24:43.000 not even the worst part the bias of omission what you don't see in the news what you don't hear you
00:24:48.780 know president would sign amazing executive orders or give great speeches that they don't even cover
00:24:54.440 they don't even mention that the president united states did this or that on any given day like
00:24:59.020 Don't you think your audience deserves to know what their president is doing?
00:25:02.660 They don't think so.
00:25:05.300 Right.
00:25:05.840 So I can tell you from all of the years I spent in the media, by the way, guys, don't
00:25:10.480 forget, like and share.
00:25:11.280 Get this out to as many people as you can.
00:25:14.460 Hit the like button on Facebook if you're watching there.
00:25:17.120 YouTube, give us a thumbs up there.
00:25:19.380 Give us a re-share on X, wherever you're watching.
00:25:22.100 Make sure you share this, like this, get this out.
00:25:24.300 All right.
00:25:24.620 i can tell you it's probably about 50 laziness 40 bias and 10 corporate which is why our media
00:25:37.120 is the way it is and when i say lazy what i mean is one journalist out of i don't know 100 will go
00:25:44.500 out there and create some kind of a story and then they'll get two corroborating sources and
00:25:48.880 how many times have you heard me come on here and explain to you they get unnamed sources which
00:25:53.580 could mean they've pulled it out of their ass they're just creating a story right unnamed sources
00:25:58.760 what unnamed source protecting their anonymity so they can speak freely whatever how are we
00:26:05.980 supposed to take that seriously but that has become a journalistic norm whereas it never used
00:26:11.720 to be in the last few years right so they go out and they write this horse crap story and then
00:26:16.820 other journalists and other media will get on top of it. Maybe they'll try and verify it on their
00:26:24.100 own. Maybe they won't. Or maybe they'll just steal it from Associated Press or from Canadian press.
00:26:29.880 Today, when I woke up and saw this story about U.S. invasion in Canada, I went looking through
00:26:36.920 Google just to see how many publications had picked this up. The first four pages, every
00:26:42.780 single news publication that matters in Canada had picked up that same story from the Canadian press
00:26:49.420 with the same freaking headline. As the day went on, they softened the headline a bit because
00:26:55.440 maybe some editor or some publisher came in and said, you know what, that might be a little bit
00:27:00.780 over the top, you guys. But in the meantime, they let this thing run for seven or eight hours before
00:27:05.680 anybody did anything about it. And how many Canadians saw that headline? And they also know
00:27:12.360 that canadians read the headline and maybe the first paragraph maybe the second paragraph of
00:27:17.920 any news story because you know no time time is money gotta move on they know this to be true and
00:27:26.400 they capitalize on it with the worst possible misleading headlines they can come up with
00:27:32.200 biased in such a way that will get people to keep on clicking keep on clicking and at the same time
00:27:39.140 make any common-sense politician or any common-sense person, for that matter, if the story is big
00:27:45.760 enough, look like a far-right, which is another overused expression by left-wing corporate media,
00:27:52.280 far-right knuckle-dragging extremist.
00:27:58.880 So how long has it been? About a week, week and a half since Carney floated the idea and actually
00:28:03.700 went to the EU and spoke in their parliament about joining, as an associate member, the European
00:28:09.160 Union. A week. It's been a week. And so Leger has decided, hey, let's do a poll. Remember how
00:28:17.440 Canadians absorb news, which is not very well. So they've heard rumblings of this. Maybe. What?
00:28:25.540 Canada joining the EU? I can guarantee you, if you tried to strike up a conversation in your local
00:28:30.060 coffee shop about this. Most people would go, I maybe heard something about that. I don't know.
00:28:35.900 Like, what's that all about anyway? And then quickly the conversation would turn to football
00:28:40.200 or hockey. But Leger wants us to believe that 70% of Canadians support Canada becoming an
00:28:48.620 associate member of the European Union. Only 13% oppose it and 18% are unsure.
00:29:00.060 63 percent this is nonsense 63 percent of canadians say giving canadian and eu businesses
00:29:07.920 greater access to each other's markets would make them more likely to support closer ties
00:29:12.380 i can guarantee you that 63 percent of canadians have no idea about any of this
00:29:18.600 53 percent of canadians say greater defense and security collaboration would increase their support
00:29:25.800 53 percent of canadians also say their support would increase if it would make it easier to
00:29:33.180 travel between canada and participating european countries i think it's easy enough just have a
00:29:39.060 passport right that's all you need this is absolutely ridiculous here is the president
00:29:46.520 of the european union council ursula van der leyen talking about this very thing that cannot
00:29:52.980 not to be a member of the European Union because of geography, that's the only reason.
00:29:57.660 So in whatever sector we want to work as close as possible together and have an associate
00:30:03.500 membership of Canada, be it artificial intelligence or be it health, be it quantum or biotechnology,
00:30:11.120 but also the traditional industrial sectors as much as possible, as close as possible.
00:30:15.980 Can I just ask you, is there such a thing formally as associate member?
00:30:19.800 that's been the debate what did she mean what does it mean we're starting with that now with
00:30:25.080 canada because canada wanted to be as close as possible thinking about potential membership
00:30:31.560 this is not possible because of our treaty says only european countries but we want to be as
00:30:37.160 close as possible and it's not only values based it's also interest based values based so what they
00:30:44.520 want to do is crack down on you if you put out an opinion they disagree with on social media
00:30:50.380 and definitely they want to open the gates for unmitigated immigration just come on in
00:30:58.740 come on that's what how they're aligned
00:31:03.040 it's incredible you know shannon stubs is a conservative mp from lakeland alberta
00:31:12.340 and she put out a video at the end of april that i had never seen before somebody sent this to me
00:31:18.640 today now remember i have been saying that the conservative party is pretty much captured it's
00:31:24.080 a unit party conservatives and liberals same deal minor minor differences that won't make
00:31:30.280 any huge difference if one is elected over the other it's just whatever now having said that
00:31:37.220 We know that pretty much every MP in the Liberal Party is captured by this ideology.
00:31:43.420 Some in the Conservative Party are captured as well.
00:31:47.740 But I don't think this woman is.
00:31:50.440 Shannon Stubbs, and after you see this video, I think it's about three minutes long.
00:31:55.560 After you see this video, you're going to say to yourself,
00:31:59.200 this woman is definitely going to be voting for Alberta independence next month
00:32:04.160 because she sees what's coming.
00:32:07.220 And again, she released this on her YouTube channel, Shannon Stubbs, back in late April.
00:32:13.600 Watch this.
00:32:14.660 Canadians must recognize how the Liberals plan to change the fundamentals of our country and our economy now more than ever.
00:32:24.540 I know the Liberals are saying all the right things.
00:32:27.080 I know it looks like they are taking action to protect Canada.
00:32:29.680 But what they are really doing is now using the majority they've got to implement the final stages of a decade-long agenda this Prime Minister advised the former one to do.
00:32:42.020 These are the same Liberals that have landlocked, gate-kept, roadblocked, and red-taped Canadians, entrepreneurs, investors, inventors, and innovators, with a gradually tightening stranglehold that has sent more Canadian money and more Canadian opportunities into the United States than at any other time in our country's history.
00:33:06.220 These are the same liberals that inherited a surplus budget and Canada, then with the biggest
00:33:12.300 and richest middle class of any country on earth in 2015. Eleven years later, with mostly all the
00:33:21.500 same people in key positions in government, the liberals are clearly dead set, especially with
00:33:28.460 their newly stolen majority, to creep more into your life, more into provincial, territorial,
00:33:34.220 and municipal jurisdiction, and much more into Canada's private sector, where there are already
00:33:40.780 too many oligopolies and not enough competition. Because when big government, big business,
00:33:46.620 and big banks collude, it's never the little guy who comes out on top, is it?
00:33:51.580 The truth is that the Liberals' real agenda, outlined in Carney's book, and the entirety
00:33:57.420 of his career in public record, is to force the creative destruction of the fundamentals
00:34:03.180 of canada's economy and to blur the jurisdictional lines so it can be rebuilt in carney's image
00:34:10.140 according to his agenda his values and his interests that's the reset all the globalists
00:34:17.100 were talking about just a few years ago and he always gets testy about transparency and
00:34:21.660 accountability whatever he's asked about how his own interests fit into what he's doing with his
00:34:27.020 now almost unchecked power doesn't he that's why mark carney just seized control of parliament's
00:34:33.580 committees where only the opposition can hold these micromanaging interfering government knows
00:34:38.380 best liberals to account for taxpayers for voters for future generations for everyone right now he's
00:34:45.500 doing it to stack the deck in his favor and make it easier for them to pass their authoritarian
00:34:51.100 legislation with their authoritarian ways if you speak out against what they're clearly doing
00:34:55.900 you're not elbows up enough or you don't care about the country or you're just not as smart
00:35:00.540 or sophisticated enough like they are are you but none of that is true you actually see it for what
00:35:06.540 it is and i urge you to speak out to get engaged and to get organized like you never have before
00:35:13.420 because mark carney would rather his big banker buddies his big business and political context
00:35:18.300 his out of touch authoritarians like him to rake it in while canadians struggle to pay their
00:35:22.940 their mortgages, rent, gas power, and grocery bills, all while he fractures Canada's most
00:35:27.460 important trading and security relationship with our biggest customer and now our biggest
00:35:32.980 competitor because of these liberals, the United States, and drapes Canada closer to
00:35:37.080 the communist Beijing regime that interferes in Canada's elections and spies on Canadian
00:35:41.800 citizens, even though just last year, Prime Minister Carney himself said what was true,
00:35:47.180 which is that Beijing is Canada's biggest security threat.
00:35:51.580 That's true for the entire Western world,
00:35:53.920 and this fight has never been more important.
00:35:57.400 All of this, the dismantling of Canada as we know it,
00:36:01.400 is exactly what Carney has always planned to do.
00:36:05.540 He's written it, he's said it,
00:36:07.820 he's shown himself to be dead set on it,
00:36:10.720 and you should believe him.
00:36:11.800 you know i wonder if she was spoken to by polyev after releasing that video because i haven't seen
00:36:23.340 anything resembling that since and it's extraordinary it's as far as i have ever
00:36:31.880 seen a member of the conservative party of canada and elected one anyway talk about the agenda
00:36:38.400 agenda 2030 the great reset and there she is talking about it i think leslund lewis is kind
00:36:44.760 of skirted around it a few times right maybe in an x post or a facebook post or something
00:36:50.720 but never have i seen a conservative an elected conservative mp sit down
00:36:56.000 and tell it like it is she just did that
00:36:59.040 so i'd say give her a call shannon stubbs is her name give her a call and say hey
00:37:07.100 way to go shannon more of that please and get any of the conservative caucus who believes in the
00:37:13.940 same stuff to start saying that stuff too and maybe we'll start getting a narrative about that
00:37:18.320 before it gets shut down by the upper echelons of the leadership of the party
00:37:23.360 so about a week ago maybe a little longer mark carney said hey you know what we're going to
00:37:29.100 balance the operating budget for canada next year we're doing it a year before we said we would now
00:37:35.960 this is different from the actual budget of the country, the operating budget. It's pretty much
00:37:40.220 the day-to-day stuff. It's the bureaucrats. It's paying all of the lights, the expenditures,
00:37:48.040 everything you need to keep all of the government infrastructure in place. It's not about investments
00:37:53.160 or handouts or anything like that. But according to the parliamentary budget officer, that's not
00:38:04.560 true at all. Definitions in Ottawa's budget framework are inconsistent. This comes from
00:38:11.200 the fiscal watchdog on National News Watch. So much for the economic whiz kid, eh? Ottawa's
00:38:20.960 fiscal watchdog says the way the liberal government defines certain types of spending
00:38:25.060 and its new budget framework can be inconsistent, contradictory. They're like the mafia. They've
00:38:32.720 got a blue ledger and they've got a red ledger. The liberals under Carney introduced a new budget
00:38:38.560 framework that divides spending between day-to-day operating expenses and measures to stimulate
00:38:43.160 capital investment. Well, this new report from the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer
00:38:47.960 argues the way Ottawa defines those categories isn't as stringent as the definition used in
00:38:53.680 other jurisdictions like the UK. For example, two similar programs in Agriculture and Agri-Food
00:39:00.660 canada that are both aimed at spurring investments in farm equipment are classified differently under
00:39:05.500 this framework carney said last week the federal government is on track to balance its operating
00:39:10.280 budget next year but the budget office's projections based on figures from the spring
00:39:14.740 anticipate ottawa hitting that fiscal anchor two years later
00:39:19.020 he lied to you again
00:39:23.840 john frago spokesperson for finance minister francois philippe champagne says the government
00:39:30.480 is sticking by its pledge to balance the operating budget a year early and the upcoming fall budget
00:39:35.420 will demonstrate ottawa's fiscal prudence from the canadian press guys know liz truss i think she was
00:39:42.900 the prime minister of the uk for a cup of coffee not very long anyway she did a media tour of north
00:39:48.160 America last year. And here she is in conversation with Glenn Beck, talking about Mark Carney and
00:39:56.180 not even coming close to believing that he somehow managed to become the Prime Minister of Canada.
00:40:03.840 I think it is extraordinary that Mark Carney has become the Prime Minister of Canada. He did a
00:40:09.600 terrible job in Britain of the governorship of the Bank of England. He created a lot of the problems
00:40:15.860 that blew up on my watch and that i got blamed for were actually created by him he backed labor in
00:40:22.420 the election and rachel reeves's policies which are leading the country uh to bankruptcy so why
00:40:28.980 on earth the liberal party of canada has selected this man i have no idea and i think it is
00:40:35.700 illegitimate that this guy has never been elected as a member of parliament in canada i'm you know
00:40:42.900 I'm utterly puzzled.
00:40:44.380 And, you know, the Canadians, you know, I'm not going to tell the Canadians how to vote.
00:40:50.620 Obviously, I want the Conservatives to be elected, to be elected in Canada.
00:40:55.520 But I think it's, it's, Justin Trudeau has pursued a lot of the same policies that Europe has been pursuing.
00:41:05.280 And America has raced ahead of us.
00:41:07.640 Back at the turn of the millennium, the average Brit was catching up with the average American in terms of income per head.
00:41:16.280 We are now $34,000 a year behind.
00:41:19.800 We are poorer than Mississippi, which is the poorest American state.
00:41:24.840 And the same is true.
00:41:25.800 The same is true of France and Germany and to some extent of Canada.
00:41:31.220 No, no, no.
00:41:32.120 It's not to some extent of Canada.
00:41:34.780 It's true.
00:41:35.680 all of canada in that same boat they pursued all of these woke policies
00:41:40.420 yeah we're going to get to these woke policies in just a second mark carney has appointed his wife
00:41:50.720 to a position now people are are a little bit upset about this and social media
00:41:56.580 wasn't really a big deal though not as big as some of the other stuff that's been going on
00:42:02.560 the last couple of days carney's wife lands ocean envoy role admits pm gave her special access
00:42:09.180 well i think she'd probably have to considering she's married to him and that would be the obvious
00:42:14.300 first question wait a minute did you get this job because you're married to him
00:42:19.180 mark carney's wife has been named canada's ocean envoy unpaid by the way she's not taking a
00:42:28.280 paycheck for this i'm sure she's doing well enough with eurasia group over there and gerald
00:42:32.040 butts. Just days after publicly acknowledging that her husband's position gives her access to
00:42:38.960 people, conversations and opportunities unavailable to others. Diana Fox Carney appeared alongside
00:42:44.700 her husband at the United Nations General Assembly in New York yesterday. In her new capacity is
00:42:50.360 Canada's ocean envoy, a volunteer and unpaid position announced by Fisheries Minister Joanne
00:42:56.860 Thompson last week. And here's Carney making the announcement. We will welcome the world to
00:43:02.260 Halifax for the Our Ocean Conference. Hope to see as many of you there as possible. Canada's special
00:43:09.040 envoy is here. Diana, make sure I get the last name right. Fox Carney, who's working tirelessly
00:43:16.900 on this. And we intend to be at every table where the future of the ocean is decided and to continue
00:43:25.820 to raise our ambitions.
00:43:30.180 Anybody ever heard of this before?
00:43:32.340 This is Our Ocean organization.
00:43:37.020 I know I hadn't.
00:43:38.980 So I had to go look it up.
00:43:40.540 And I went in with an expectation
00:43:42.620 that this was going to have something to do
00:43:44.900 with climate change.
00:43:47.060 So let's bring up their website here on the screen.
00:43:49.700 Our Ocean, ouroceanconference.org
00:43:52.280 about the Our Ocean Conference.
00:43:55.820 It will focus on addressing the key ocean issues of our time, including climate change.
00:44:00.840 Boom! First thing!
00:44:03.780 Biodiversity loss, food security, and pollution.
00:44:06.100 So Carney's not going to lose this net zero thing at any point moving forward.
00:44:13.600 And it doesn't seem like these Euro nations are going to do any of that either.
00:44:17.760 Even though it seems now like the population, especially in Europe, only in Europe, certainly not in Canada,
00:44:25.080 are braced to be bringing in parties like AFD, as left-wing corporate media calls them,
00:44:31.160 far right, even though basically all they are is simply common sense.
00:44:37.100 It's looking like this in France. It's looking like this in Germany and the UK.
00:44:43.680 Not part of the EU, but definitely a key country in Europe.
00:44:48.160 I don't know about Canada. I mean, Canada seems to be an outlier somehow, some way,
00:44:52.860 hypnotized by mark carney elbows up elbows up so benjamin netanyahu gave a speech at the u.n
00:45:08.120 today the general assembly still going on this week and before he could start speaking
00:45:13.680 dozens and dozens of delegates got up and walked out of the room and then he started railing
00:45:22.860 on Mamdani, the mayor of New York City.
00:45:25.780 This is actually quite a spectacle, and here it is.
00:45:52.860 Thank you.
00:46:22.860 Order in the hall please, I request an order in the hall please.
00:46:37.700 For in the office of the anti-Semitic mayor of New York, I say this, shame on you, shame
00:46:45.900 on you for distorting the facts, shame on you for inverting victim and aggressor, shame
00:46:52.380 I blame on you for spitting in the face of truth.
00:46:56.780 Mr. Mamdani, since you were elected mayor of this city, many Jews no longer feel safe
00:47:04.060 in New York.
00:47:05.700 They talk to me, they tell me.
00:47:08.820 This isn't the city we remember.
00:47:10.620 It changed so quickly.
00:47:12.140 Now, it's no wonder.
00:47:14.880 You praise criminals convicted of supporting Hamas.
00:47:18.800 And then you count his friends people like Hassan Piker, who said America deserved 9-11.
00:47:25.800 America deserved 9-11.
00:47:28.160 Some friends you have.
00:47:29.780 You invited into your home a Palestinian journalist who felt Hamas terrorists beating and torturing
00:47:36.260 Israeli hostages and later admitted that he refused to publish the videos in order to
00:47:42.380 protect, you guessed it, the terrorists.
00:47:46.940 Your wife liked a post praising the October 7th massacre.
00:47:51.400 She liked another post saying Tel Aviv shouldn't exist.
00:47:55.980 You refused to condemn any of that.
00:47:58.680 You falsely, repeatedly accused Israel of genocide.
00:48:03.700 Mr. Mamdani, you tried to stop me from coming here.
00:48:08.260 You tried to silence me.
00:48:11.060 Well, you can't silence me.
00:48:13.700 You can't silence the truth.
00:48:16.220 And here's the simple truth.
00:48:27.220 Here's the simple truth.
00:48:29.380 Israel didn't commit genocide, Israel prevented genocide.
00:48:39.340 that's exactly that's exactly what mr mamdani's hamas buddies would have done to us had we not
00:48:46.300 stopped them they would have killed every last one of us the lies you and other anti-semites
00:48:55.020 spread about the jews and the jewish state have real consequences all right now i'm not going to
00:49:04.300 sit here and pick sides because that would be a stupid exercise. I believe that anti-Semitism
00:49:12.040 is a made-up trope the same way I believe that Islamophobia is a made-up trope. I think it's
00:49:18.640 crap. I think all of it is absolute nonsense designed to divide, but who designed it is the
00:49:27.640 question. Well, we could say, oh, it's the Rockefellers or it's some secret society. And
00:49:32.700 And yeah, that may be true, but it also may not be true.
00:49:36.480 Either way, it's worked like a charm, hasn't it?
00:49:40.720 You have 70 countries, seven zero countries,
00:49:45.900 get up and walk out on this guy.
00:49:48.100 And again, I'm not saying they're not villains,
00:49:50.280 just like I'm not saying that Palestinians and Hamas
00:49:55.200 and all of those criminals aren't villains either.
00:49:57.780 what i am saying is i don't know exactly the extent of it and i don't know exactly how it plays
00:50:06.100 and i also don't know if these guys laugh behind the scenes drinking beers together
00:50:11.140 where all of us are wringing our hands and screaming and yelling online and in the streets
00:50:15.560 i don't know seems to me the black ant red ant in a jar theory is definitely in play here
00:50:21.860 but if you want to know which countries got up and walked out here it is
00:50:27.340 obviously the arab and middle eastern nations like saudi arabia iran jordan syria algeria
00:50:34.720 sudan tunisia libya lebanon iraq qatar kuwait oman yemen egypt indonesia malaysia bangladesh
00:50:45.040 uzbekistan kyrgyzstan sri lanka turkey brazil brazil well that one's interesting we know that
00:50:52.340 their president is woke af bolivia spain ireland montenegro spain ireland very very very interesting
00:51:06.280 there they're coming right out and saying it aren't they so these are the two factions
00:51:12.840 who are at war right now i'm not going to go into great detail about it
00:51:18.480 those of you who are in the know already know what i'm talking about anyway and perhaps you
00:51:23.980 can go ahead and discuss it in comments anyway canada was one of the countries that did not
00:51:30.280 walk out however anita anand our minister of foreign affairs said she's checking canadian
00:51:37.240 airspace to see if netanyahu is crossing canadian airspace with arrest warrant in effect remember
00:51:43.700 last year they put out an arrest warrant a warrant based on the international criminal court that
00:51:48.200 convicted benjamin netanyahu as a war criminal and the canadian government said yes they would
00:51:53.700 absolutely enforce that even though trump at the un said the other day we absolutely denounce the
00:51:58.980 ic as a corrupt criminal organization so this is the polar opposition that we are seeing form
00:52:06.800 in the world right now the new world
00:52:11.560 order. All right, let's move on to provincial stuff here. By the way, Doug Ford gave Ukraine
00:52:24.020 a million dollars today, the province of Ontario, not out of his own personal pocket. We'll get to
00:52:29.820 that. Angus Reid Institute has done a poll here. Now, this is what, two days after the BC writ
00:52:36.120 dropped david eby called the election two days the bc conservatives have somehow managed to open
00:52:43.340 and again if you believe in the polls an eight point lead after the snap election call isn't that
00:52:50.700 something so let's get down to the numbers here the key findings are 43 percent now support the
00:52:58.120 bc conservative party 30 ndp has dropped 10 points in the last week this is hilarious maybe people
00:53:04.420 are mad because of this election call. Now, not everybody is stupid. They understand the NDP had
00:53:10.060 a majority government, didn't need this election. So maybe they're mad about that. I don't know.
00:53:13.900 Why do Canadians get mad about elections? I think any time you can go vote is a great day.
00:53:20.960 But they've dropped from 45 to 35 percent in the past week. 62 percent say it's too soon for an
00:53:27.040 election. 65 percent say EB is putting staying in power over the province's interests. 56 percent
00:53:33.180 say the B.C. conservatives are not ready to govern. The Greens have got 12 percent.
00:53:44.120 Oh, so these are the people who absolutely intend to vote. So 34 percent of conservatives,
00:53:50.080 28 percent NDP, undecided, that's a big one, 20 percent. B.C. Greens, 9 percent. They had 12
00:53:56.720 percent in that survey from yesterday. And then other parties would be at 8 percent like Center
00:54:02.300 BC and 1 BC and 3% are saying they're not voting. So I guess these 20% will decide to vote for
00:54:09.660 somebody. It just depends on who. It's all very interesting what's happening in BC. And like I
00:54:16.040 said, this election cycle, this campaign is going to be very short. You're voting if you're living
00:54:20.340 in BC in one month from today. So read who your candidate is, make up your mind, get to the poll
00:54:28.740 or don't i don't see much changing there unless 1bc magically nominates 88 more candidates and
00:54:37.440 somehow wins the election with a majority i don't see it anyhow david eby was asked by a cbc reporter
00:54:48.040 today if he is fear-mongering have a look yesterday and today you've had the steam of
00:54:54.680 Donald Trump being like a wildfire and we need these fire breaks to prevent him.
00:54:58.920 And you've talked about how the Conservatives' vision would be of BC being America Junior
00:55:04.420 and them, you know, Heather Maas or somebody talking about doing what he says.
00:55:08.880 But as Ben pointed out, a couple of times yesterday,
00:55:11.460 Lauren Dirksen called Donald Trump a bully.
00:55:14.420 He was emphatic that we would never be the 51st state.
00:55:17.940 So you framed this election as being the opportunity for Bruce Cummings
00:55:21.380 to choose between your vision of standing up to him and that of kowtowing to him but aren't you
00:55:26.720 overstating things to put it politely is this not fear-mongering not at all rob i um i've i've sat in
00:55:33.920 that legislature since this trade war began uh and i have watched as opportunity after opportunity
00:55:41.820 came to our legislature to take a strong stand against trump and a strong stand in favor of
00:55:49.780 british colombians it's things as simple as who do you invite to the legislature mr sunshine baby
00:55:57.160 youtube blogger who said that uh doug ford uh engaged in an act of war in suggesting that we
00:56:05.160 restrict electricity to the united states in response to the trade war called him a traitor
00:56:10.420 was welcomed in the legislature with open arms by the conservatives and a big round of applause
00:56:14.940 Okay, that's not exactly what Mr. Sunshine Baby said, first of all. He said it was stupid. Because anything that we can impose on the Americans in terms of holding back power or restricting hunting licenses or not putting their booze on the shelves, they can do to us times 100.
00:56:33.660 so in that way i suppose yes he would be a traitor because he's only making things worse
00:56:40.040 for canadians david eby is stupid ideologically driven or paid off to say the stupid things that
00:56:49.920 he's saying and it seems like every other politician in this country is dumb like that as
00:56:55.300 well we'll get to that but let's finish this first heather moss tweeting david eby should comply with
00:57:01.140 donald trump it wasn't heather mawz or whoever it was the house leader of the conservatives heather
00:57:05.900 mawz david eby should comply with donald trump yeah they all should this whole thing should have
00:57:14.080 been over a very long time ago but it's still going on and why political points my friends
00:57:20.480 for all of them and canadians are buying right freaking into it elbows up lame trump elbows up
00:57:32.960 lame trump here's lauren dirksen the interim slash not interim leader of the bc conservative party
00:57:40.460 calling donald trump a bully mr eby has said that he's calling an election now because of what's
00:57:46.140 happening in the United States, that Trump is a serious threat to British Columbia and the rest
00:57:51.280 of Canada, and that your party represents the same kind of Trumpian politics. What do you think of
00:57:57.200 that accusation? Yeah, I think it's absurd, actually. I think that Donald Trump does represent
00:58:03.780 an incredible threat to this province and this nation. And the reality is, is that he's a bully.
00:58:09.460 The problem is, is that we've had pretty ample opportunity in this province to bolster our
00:58:14.940 strength strengthen our industries you know the the notion that uh just recently uh the bc government
00:58:21.500 under the mdp has chosen to send a shipbuilding contract across and overseas um you know is is
00:58:29.260 appalling i mean that that is the exact uh thing that could bolster our economy in this province
00:58:35.340 so much and uh the idea that uh our industry is in peril in this province for struggling under
00:58:42.940 permitting processes that are absurd, so is mining. It is absurd to think that I would be
00:58:49.240 supportive of a bully south of the border. All right, so they're still doing it. They're still
00:58:58.500 acting like children. Somebody described it very well today in a social media post. They said
00:59:04.740 that Canada is this neighbor that never cuts its grass, that's always over at your place
00:59:11.920 borrowing things out of your garage or your kitchen that never repairs its fence.
00:59:20.340 And America is the one saying, all right, look, I'll help you out. I'll help you out. And they've
00:59:23.920 always been that one. I'll help you out. I'll help pay for the fence. I'll help pay for your yard.
00:59:27.780 I'll cut your grass. Even I'll go ahead and lend you food. I'll pick up your newspapers. I'll pick
00:59:32.940 up your mail, whatever. And then Trump has decided now, you know what? We're not doing this anymore.
00:59:39.280 I've had enough of this nonsense. You're going to have to start taking care of yourself.
00:59:44.080 And we're going to make sure that you do that. And if you don't, then we're just going to buy
00:59:47.720 your house and we're going to throw your ass out. I thought that was a pretty good analogy
00:59:53.440 of the relationship between Canada and the United States. Canada has been taking advantage
00:59:59.620 of the United States for a very long time. That relationship was set up like that sometime in
01:00:06.500 the 50s canada in the 1950s was still militarily active i'm not sure if you guys know this but at
01:00:14.540 the end of world war ii canada had the fourth largest navy in the world and maintained that
01:00:20.840 navy all the way until the 50s and then what happened was they developed this aircraft that
01:00:27.520 was the fastest most stealth stealth aircraft in the world it was called the avro arrow sometime
01:00:33.600 in 1957 and then john dieffenbaker then prime minister had a meeting with the americans
01:00:40.560 and two weeks after that somehow that project the avro arrow was cancelled
01:00:48.080 the avro arrow would have turned canada into the world's next superpower
01:00:57.040 but that never happened and then after that canada became a peacekeeping force under the liberals
01:01:03.280 in the 1960s and ever since then the military expenditures have gone down and down and down
01:01:10.960 and down and down and because of that the united states has had to take care of us
01:01:22.160 again i think that deal was arranged sometime in the 1950s i can't say for sure but i think it was
01:01:28.480 us and so the united states are they themselves to blame too for this right i mean they're the
01:01:34.480 ones that initiated that deal in the 1950s but if they're sick of it now all these years later
01:01:39.560 they have every right to say you want to know what no we're not doing this anymore and the way
01:01:45.360 these politicians are responding you're like spoiled children having a fit in a department
01:01:49.740 store when you've told them they can't have that toy put the toy away
01:01:56.540 they start flailing around on the floor screaming and yelling holding their breath
01:02:06.340 that's what these canadian politicians sound like it's it's embarrassing actually
01:02:10.260 and then of course all the people they go ahead and they follow
01:02:13.400 Blame Trump, elbows up, blame Trump, elbows up, blame Trump, blame Trump, elbows up, blame Trump.
01:02:34.600 Elbows.
01:02:36.720 Okay.
01:02:38.440 Something disturbing in B.C. yesterday.
01:02:40.380 I put this on last night, but I wasn't on the full network last night, as I am tonight.
01:02:45.700 So in case you guys missed this, Lorne Dirksen, again, the interim slash permanent leader of the B.C.
01:02:51.180 Conservative Party, was asked if he's going to fight a culture war in British Columbia.
01:02:58.720 Are you going to be talking about SOGI?
01:03:01.000 Are you going to be talking about immigration?
01:03:02.900 Are you going to be talking about climate change?
01:03:05.800 Watch this.
01:03:06.560 What do you say, Lauren, to voters who may be turned off by the culture wars stuff?
01:03:12.540 Like, are we going to hear you talk about Soji on the campaign trail?
01:03:16.760 No, what you're going to hear from me is join us to change government, to get this province back on track, to save British Columbia, because we have to focus on that for certain.
01:03:32.060 Okay, so he doesn't want to fight the culture wars.
01:03:35.060 He wants to allow that indoctrination to continue in schools.
01:03:39.080 He wants those land acknowledgments to continue at every assembly, every gathering.
01:03:44.240 He wants people like Barry Neufeld to continue to be fined $750,000 for saying out loud that a man cannot be a woman.
01:03:57.800 Here's why these culture wars need to be fought.
01:04:02.180 because if we don't fight these culture wars which by the way were started by the other side
01:04:08.360 as you know and then they turn around and blame it on us because that's what gaslighters do
01:04:12.880 this is the kind of thing that happens abusive for parents to deny their minor children
01:04:20.540 the ability to transition their sex or gender yes or no belittling them and like making the
01:04:27.960 the child feel bad then yeah that's abusive. Well what if the child feels bad that their
01:04:32.940 parent says Tommy you're not a little girl you're a little boy and you're not going to wear a dress.
01:04:38.580 The child would feel bad about that. 100% yeah. Did the parents abuse Tommy? If it happens over
01:04:45.500 and over and over again then yeah it's abusive. Like if they start making fun of him or saying
01:04:50.240 no you're not wearing that you're not you're not wearing a dress and yeah that's that's abusive
01:04:54.720 yeah repeatedly for sure so if the child repeatedly claims like he is a girl and the
01:04:59.940 parent repeated repeatedly says no you're not it turns into abuse how so it hurts their feelings
01:05:07.920 and it makes them feel bad and it can scar them it can damage them their mind when they get older
01:05:12.460 they can resent their parents okay so you see this guy here he's lost he's been indoctrinated
01:05:20.440 or he's a beta cuck who is saying these things because he knows his wife is standing next to him
01:05:25.980 and if he doesn't then he's going to get it when they get home and when i say get it i'm not talking
01:05:31.400 about getting it on i'm talking about getting the fist upside the head it's actually disgusting
01:05:38.100 this guy here we don't need guys like this who are so easily manipulated you just have to be
01:05:45.320 accepting of it. If my ch
01:05:47.920 said, I'm a pirate, I want
01:05:52.100 I say, no, Thomas, you're
01:05:56.860 not cutting off your leg.
01:05:59.640 this goes over the span o
01:06:02.880 saying, Thomas, you are n
01:06:05.340 cutting off your leg. You
01:06:08.200 can't go sail a boat in t
01:06:11.640 that become abused too? I
01:06:14.620 whatever he wants to be can can this dog become a cow no why not because it's not a cow yeah
01:06:22.600 but why isn't it a cow because it's a dog can little boys become little girls
01:06:27.920 sure yeah you see you see how on earth is one different than the other and yet his answers
01:06:36.800 are different it's so ridiculous but does it seem to you that he's hypnotized brainwashed
01:06:44.120 into this ideology or is he saying it because he feels under pressure that's the question how so
01:06:49.720 i don't know i'm gonna they can't guys little boys cannot become little girls can a man do this
01:06:57.960 that's caitlin bennett by the way in case you haven't seen her before you can find her on
01:07:04.300 instagram she got hundreds of thousands of followers she's ballsy af and she's awesome
01:07:08.440 can a man do this can you can you do this no no why not i don't know man do you like to leave
01:07:17.160 because you're not a woman and you never can be right just gonna head out i appreciate
01:07:22.040 everything you've done yeah absolutely i wish you the best of luck yeah if you go to breed
01:07:25.720 that dog make sure you're doing it correctly i love her and we need more caitlin bennett's
01:07:34.600 out there like that. She's fearless. She gets kicked out of public squares all the time because
01:07:40.140 people don't like what she has to say or the questions that she asks. And police actually do
01:07:44.840 that until she actually files constitutional lawsuits against them. And then they stop that
01:07:53.240 behavior right away. It's a little bit different in Canada, obviously. Here's Marissa Street.
01:07:59.000 she is the CEO of PragerU. Watch what she has to say.
01:08:03.560 Now trained by NGOs and unions to teach things like ethnic studies. What does ethnic studies
01:08:10.680 teach? Here is a book that I pulled straight out of the California ethnic studies curriculum. I
01:08:15.780 chose just one chapter for you, but believe me, there is so much scary stuff in here.
01:08:19.760 Adultism. What is adultism? Adultism is when a parent tells a child that they should not change
01:08:24.980 their gender because they're still a child and they should wait a few years until they're ready.
01:08:28.540 The adultism is when an adult tells their child, maybe you should have sex quite yet, you're a little young.
01:08:34.160 The teachers are being told to teach kids that adultism is when an adult is behaving like a tyrant because they shouldn't be told what to do.
01:08:46.820 Wow. So now we're not supposed to be able to deal with our kids.
01:08:52.600 That is what they're teaching in schools.
01:08:55.940 now that one's in california i haven't heard of that particular kind of indoctrination in canada
01:09:00.940 yet but i have with this one here's an up-and-coming influencer on social media called
01:09:06.680 ariel scarsella women do not have penises scoss graves do women have penises
01:09:12.700 so again i believe that women democrats have gone so crazy women can have penises that's not a thing
01:09:20.900 that's not biology it's not science you sound like a lunatic and the women you sound like a
01:09:25.180 she said the fact that this is something that started in very niche woke circles online and is
01:09:30.320 now in court or in city council meetings with like all these places it's hilarious but also sad
01:09:35.640 said they're wasting time on this bullshit when we all know the actual truth that's number one
01:09:39.360 but the reason here that it's more sad than hilarious is because this actually does affect
01:09:46.200 society let me explain words have definitions words those definitions of words get implemented
01:09:52.760 and written into law we live by those laws we can either follow or break the law so these things do
01:09:58.080 need to be discussed males have penises females don't what this all really comes down to is a
01:10:03.460 difference in usage of words or beliefs in what words mean people on the right or people that
01:10:09.300 have common sense usually say that males and men mean the same thing they're using sex and gender
01:10:14.600 to mean the same thing where people on the left are saying no they're not the same thing but we
01:10:18.660 have to figure this out because again words and definitions of words are written into law and we
01:10:24.360 have to abide by those laws we need to figure this out we need to figure this out within like
01:10:28.360 the next six months because this is this is ridiculous at this point right she's right
01:10:34.720 so yes bc conservatives you do need to fight that culture war and you need to beat back all of this
01:10:43.440 nonsense already we've got NDP MPs announcing since this new sitting of parliament that they
01:10:49.600 want to criminalize residential school deniers again with this nonsense BC continuing to give
01:11:00.700 away land to Indian bands under DRIPA your home if you live in British Columbia may now be the
01:11:09.420 property of the Cowichan First Nation or whichever other band decides to file a claim. And the same
01:11:14.740 thing is going to start happening. It already has in Ontario, parts of Ontario and parts of Quebec
01:11:18.880 and the rest of Canada. If we don't stand up and start fighting these ridiculous culture wars,
01:11:25.500 these people, these First Nations, some of these woke ones, and most of the chiefs,
01:11:29.820 to be completely honest with you, they sit there and say that Canada is a nation built on stolen
01:11:34.960 land by settlers and yeah we are settlers we settled a horrible horrible horrible climate
01:11:43.340 let's be honest these people came over from europe and they settled this land
01:11:47.700 and built this country that we live in today you want to tear it down they're renaming streets
01:11:55.420 with languages that never actually had any kind of written verbiage to them
01:12:00.540 in names we cannot pronounce you look at it and you go
01:12:05.100 what the hell is that there's one in winnipeg called bishop grandin or it used to be called
01:12:12.040 bishop grandin i have no idea what they're calling it now but all the media does they
01:12:16.780 call it by that new name nobody knows what the hell they're talking about
01:12:19.780 it's all of this nonsense needs to stop and some governments need to finally start standing up
01:12:28.260 like danielle smith has done in alberta and say no more of this crap and i don't give a rat's ass
01:12:35.680 what the woke left has to say about it it doesn't matter it's stupid it never should have gotten
01:12:40.780 into our governments and our institutions in the first place but it has and because of that and
01:12:47.620 the school boards and all of that because of that we have got to fight back and we're going to have
01:12:53.640 to keep fighting even after we win this we're going to have to keep fighting because you know
01:12:57.840 that they will they're funded our side is not we're doing this out of passion
01:13:04.320 and what's right doing what's right
01:13:08.340 justice center for constitutional freedoms has even launched a campaign here look at this
01:13:14.740 from jccf.ca take action against human rights bodies policing speech in western canada because
01:13:21.360 that's what this boils down to jccf announces the launch of a campaign calling on the
01:13:27.720 governments of B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to repeal provisions in their human
01:13:32.500 rights legislation that give commissions and tribunals power over the expressions of opinions
01:13:37.780 on moral, social, and political issues. The campaign focuses on Section 7 of British
01:13:44.180 Columbia's Human Rights Code, Section 3 of Alberta's Human Rights Act, Section 14-1B of
01:13:49.380 the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code, and Section 18 of the Human Rights Code of Manitoba. Human
01:13:54.920 rights laws serve an important purpose when they protect citizens from discrimination in employment,
01:13:59.400 housing, services, contracts, education, and other areas of civic life. Unlike those
01:14:05.100 anti-discrimination protections, however, the four provincial human rights law sections identified
01:14:11.180 above regulate expression itself, exposing Canadians to complaints, investigations,
01:14:17.140 hearings, legal costs, and financial penalties for expressing opinions on matters of public
01:14:22.640 interest, which, by the way, is covered under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but apparently
01:14:27.640 it's not. The Alberta Human Rights Commission is currently prosecuting Benita Peterson over
01:14:33.660 a flyer opposing a proposed rainbow crosswalk in Westlock. Alberta business owner Karen Reichert
01:14:39.600 also faces a human rights complaint over comments she posted online about a family-friendly drag
01:14:45.020 show. In February, the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal ordered Chilliwack School Board trustee Barry
01:14:50.620 Neufeld to pay $750,000 to various gay and transgender teachers because he criticized
01:14:59.260 imposing gender ideology on children. Saskatchewan and Manitoba both have similar harmful provisions
01:15:05.360 that need to be repealed. In May, the Justice Center released speech on trial censorship by
01:15:10.780 human rights commissions, which examined how human rights legislation has been used to investigate
01:15:16.020 and punish expression rather than discriminatory conduct.
01:15:19.800 You can find this whole thing at jccf.ca.
01:15:22.540 It needs to be read by you, by all of us.
01:15:25.700 And it needs to be drummed into the head of any politician
01:15:30.060 that wants to join a government,
01:15:32.980 be elected to join a government in this country,
01:15:35.240 that they need to get rid of this crap immediately.
01:15:39.960 So yes, those culture wars need to be fought.
01:15:44.240 xi jinping the undisputed leader of china's totalitarian authoritarian communist government
01:15:54.560 is in the united states he arrived last night here's jesse waters of fox news
01:15:59.800 back not xi xi the president of china the chinese communist leader landing on american soil just
01:16:06.500 moments ago where trump greeted him on the tarmac at joint base andrews first time a president's
01:16:12.220 done that for a foreign leader since Obama did it for the Pope. Obama actually hosted Xi 10 years
01:16:18.060 ago, had all the pomp and circumstance, 21-gun salute, red carpet, except Barack didn't buzz him
01:16:25.240 with B2s, Trump just did, and we heard it was pretty loud. Trump was just in Beijing,
01:16:31.520 where the Chinese treated him like a king. Military bands, flowers, hundreds of smiling
01:16:37.020 Chinese children. Xi even gave him a tour of his secret imperial garden. The Chinese leader took
01:16:43.540 Trump to the temple of heaven. You know where he took Obama? To the emperor's dungeon, where they
01:16:49.520 used to torture prisoners. Trump showing a little reciprocity and being a gracious host. But don't
01:16:56.480 mistake his graciousness for weakness. The Democrats, they don't get it. Well, today as
01:17:02.400 If Trump whines and dines President Xi at the White House, he has a choice to make.
01:17:07.240 Once again, bend the knee to the CCP or to stand up to Xi?
01:17:12.520 The president should not be fetting and praising Xi.
01:17:18.080 He should be telling him, knock it off.
01:17:20.940 Should Trump have acted like Barry and let the Chinese steal our jobs in factories,
01:17:25.560 take over Latin America?
01:17:27.240 Or should he have acted like Biden and just let the Chinese bribe his son with diamonds?
01:17:32.400 and rubber-stamped their Belt and Road initiative.
01:17:35.740 No one has been tougher on China than Trump.
01:17:38.560 He launched a trade war.
01:17:39.800 He called them out for the China virus,
01:17:42.440 knocked off their proxies, Maduro and the Gay Ayatollah,
01:17:45.880 kicked them out of the Panama Canal,
01:17:47.520 now boxed them out of the Arctic.
01:17:50.400 And now we're beating them in the AI and space race.
01:17:53.800 He's not putting Xi up at Mar-a-Lago
01:17:55.640 and feeding him Peking duck
01:17:57.060 and sending him home with a full stomach.
01:17:59.720 Reagan had Gorby over at his ranch.
01:18:02.400 at the height of the cold war look at those two rubio's saying do you hear yourself dick
01:18:09.440 the united states and china are the two largest economies in the world the united states and
01:18:13.760 china are probably the two most powerful militaries in the world the relationship
01:18:17.680 between the united states and china will define the 21st century what happens in that relationship
01:18:22.720 the idea that we would not interact with them at the highest levels
01:18:27.040 is irresponsible it's outrageous we have to that doesn't mean we don't have strong
01:18:30.320 DISAGREEMENTS.
01:18:31.320 OF COURSE WE DO.
01:18:32.320 AMERICAN PRESIDENTS LAST FOUR TO
01:18:34.320 EIGHT YEARS.
01:18:35.320 XI JINPING, HE'S GOING TO BE IN
01:18:37.320 POWER UNTIL HE DIES.
01:18:38.320 EVERYTHING THAT GOES DOWN IN
01:18:40.320 CHINA COMES FROM THE TOP DOWN.
01:18:42.320 HE MAKES EVERY DECISION, BIG AND
01:18:44.320 SMALL.
01:18:45.320 GETTING ALONG WITH HIM IS THE ONLY
01:18:47.320 WAY TO GET THINGS DONE FOR THE
01:18:49.320 AMERICAN PEOPLE.
01:18:50.320 AND TRUMP GETS ALONG WITH
01:18:52.320 EVERYBODY.
01:18:53.320 PUTIN, BILL MAR, KANYE.
01:18:55.320 TRUMP'S A PEOPLE PERSON, BUT
01:18:57.320 BEHIND THE PAGEANTRY, THERE'S A
01:18:59.320 THE CHINESE, THEY'VE BEEN ACTING
01:19:02.320 A LITTLE SLEEZY.
01:19:03.320 THE CHINESE, THEY'VE BEEN ACTING
01:19:06.320 A LITTLE SLEEZY.
01:19:07.320 PRESIDENT TRUMP'S TOP ASK IS
01:19:10.320 GOING TO BE THAT THE CHINESE
01:19:12.320 STOPPED PROVIDING INTELLIGENCE
01:19:14.320 TO THE IRANIANS THAT THEY ARE
01:19:16.320 USING TO TARGET AMERICAN
01:19:17.320 INTERESTS.
01:19:18.320 CHINA IS IRAN'S BIGGEST
01:19:20.320 CUSTOMER.
01:19:21.320 THEY SHOULD USE THEIR INFLUENCE
01:19:23.320 IF THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY 100
01:19:25.320 BUCKS A BARREL.
01:19:26.320 AND WHILE SHE IS IN DC, THE
01:19:28.320 in New York delivering a speech to the UN and tried to sound like John Wayne. He must know that
01:19:35.600 the resistance of the Iranian people will only increase in the face of sanctions, increased
01:19:40.500 pressure, increased bullying. We will never bow our head or bend at the knee. What a whiner.
01:19:49.420 Rubio hit him right between the eyes. I think slaughtering 10,000 of your own people in protests
01:19:54.780 IS A VIOLATION OF THE U.N. I HOPE IT'S A VIOLATION OF THE U.N.
01:19:58.860 PRINCIPLES. I THINK SPONSORING TERRORIST
01:20:01.060 ORGANIZATIONS IN THE REGION TO ATTACK YOUR NEIGHBORS, ATTACK
01:20:03.760 ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE, ATTACK CIVILIAN SITES IS A VIOLATION
01:20:07.560 OF THE U.N. SYSTEM. SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT STANDING IRAN HAS TO
01:20:11.060 LECTURE ANYONE ON HUMAN RIGHTS OR THE INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM WHEN THEY
01:20:14.280 HABITUALLY VIOLATE IT. CHINA NEEDS THE WAR TO END ALMOST AS
01:20:18.140 MUCH AS IRAN DOES BECAUSE THEIR ECONOMY IS GROWING AT ITS SLOWEST
01:20:21.640 RATE SINCE 1991, AND THEIR
01:20:24.000 CONSUMERS AREN'T BUYING.
01:20:25.340 THEIR POPULATION IS DYING, AND
01:20:28.140 THEY DON'T PRODUCE ANY ENERGY
01:20:29.640 THEMSELVES, REALLY.
01:20:30.640 SO THE FEELING IN BEIJING,
01:20:32.440 FRUSTRATION.
01:20:33.640 THE CHINESE ARE DESPERATELY
01:20:34.640 TRYING TO EXTEND THE TRADE
01:20:35.640 TRUCE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.
01:20:37.640 AND TRUMP JUST SAID, WE'LL GIVE
01:20:40.640 YOU TWO MORE MONTHS.
01:20:41.640 BUT ON JANUARY 10TH, IF THE
01:20:43.640 CHINESE DON'T OPEN UP THEIR
01:20:45.640 MARKET MORE, BUY MORE AMERICAN
01:20:47.640 AGRICULTURE AND MORE BOEINGS,
01:20:49.640 THAT WOULDN'T HURT.
01:20:50.640 Trump will be ready for round two. What else do the Chinese want? Our chips. But we won't sell them the good ones. They're holding back on minerals, but we're just going to go elsewhere. The Chinese can't get the good chips anywhere else but here. So we have that leverage. The Chinese can't build stuff themselves. So they're stealing a lot of it. Winning the AI arms race is China's Hail Mary. So they're cutting corners. I'm getting a little sneaky. We just found Chinese models.
01:21:20.640 WITH AMERICAN WATERMARKS. BEIJING'S EVEN ADMITTED THEY'RE DOWN BIG.
01:21:26.180 THE U.S. REMAINS IN THE LEAD AND THAT WAS A VERY GOOD ACKNOWLEDGMENT THAT I GOT FROM
01:21:31.620 MY CHINESE COUNTERPART. THEY AGREED THAT WE ARE IN THE LEAD.
01:21:35.140 THE BERNIE BROS ARE DEMANDING DONALD TRUMP SURRENDER TO CHINA.
01:21:38.900 JUST STOP MAKING ANY PROGRESS ON A COMPUTER.
01:21:42.520 BASICALLY PUT ALL OF OUR COMPUTERS ON SLEEP MODE.
01:21:45.300 JUST TAKE A NAP. SINCE SCHUMER AND HAKIM DON'T EVEN
01:21:49.140 know what AI is, the Valley's top nerd asked the UN Security Council to control his industry.
01:21:56.180 If managed poorly, I even believe that AI could be a risk to humanity as a whole. I believe that
01:22:02.000 this is the most important global security issue facing the world today. That guy doesn't trust
01:22:08.500 the Pentagon, but trusts the UN Security Council. Get him out of here. The Chinese aren't going for
01:22:15.880 a ceasefire. They're in it to win it. So were we. We won the arms race against the Soviet Union
01:22:21.280 by outspending them. It bankrupted their country and communism died. And then it came back to life
01:22:27.200 40 years later in the name of AOC. This AI thing, it's early. The best thing we can do is communicate.
01:22:34.540 Sources say the United States and China are set to announce an AI hotline, a direct line between
01:22:40.260 both countries, like what we had in the Cold War. So there aren't any misunderstandings.
01:22:46.020 Now, Besant says America and China are like two guys playing water polo. They're passing each
01:22:51.500 other the ball, but underneath the water, they're kicking each other in the shins violently. Trump's
01:22:57.660 going to kick a little harder. Big money's betting on it. All right. So inside of all that, and
01:23:04.900 And there's a lot of pomp and circumstance involved.
01:23:07.360 These are the two leaders of the most preeminent nations in pretty much every regard in the world, right?
01:23:14.180 So, yeah, there's going to be a lot of hoopla and speeches and whatnot.
01:23:20.180 And here's Xi Jinping with a female translator for some reason.
01:23:24.080 Maybe Trump did that on purpose.
01:23:25.340 I don't know.
01:23:26.280 Giving his address today before the press corps.
01:23:29.200 We're welcomed by the people of our two countries and the international community.
01:23:34.900 I am ready to work with you to steer the giant ship of China-U.S. relationship on a steady course toward the future.
01:24:04.900 Okay, so what he's basically saying there, because the translator just fell asleep, I
01:24:32.100 suppose, is that we need greater cooperation between these two great nations. And you have
01:24:39.000 that, that, that, that. So these are the platitudes that the press and the public are going to hear
01:24:43.560 what happened behind closed doors. We don't know. I would imagine in the days and weeks to come,
01:24:49.900 we're going to be hearing some leaks from unnamed sources who suggest that Trump said this and
01:24:56.820 Xi Jinping countered with that and whatnot. We're going to be hearing that Russia, China,
01:25:02.740 and the United States have somehow formed this super trilateral committee that will be policing
01:25:08.280 the world. We're going to probably hear things like Trump told China to get the hell out of the
01:25:13.700 Western Hemisphere in return. You can go ahead and have Taiwan once we get enough computer chips.
01:25:19.100 There's going to be all kinds of different things that we hear. But the best way we can gauge what
01:25:26.240 really happened is to see it with our own eyes there are Chinese bots everywhere on social media
01:25:33.760 if you put up a post that gets a little bit of attention positive attention and they don't like
01:25:39.220 it they will flood that post with bots calling you names vile names and these bots are Chinese
01:25:46.340 or they're Iranian now the government would want you to believe they're Russian
01:25:50.960 Russia has absolutely no skin in this game they do not care about putting bots into Canadian
01:25:59.060 social media but China does these bots all of the Mark Carney stuff that you see on Facebook
01:26:08.020 promoting Canada promoting Mark Carney in this trade war against the United States guaranteed
01:26:13.720 that the bots you see there are Chinese bots how do you identify them with a name like Dave Smith
01:26:20.180 and absolutely no profile picture
01:26:22.320 or any kind of pictures posted whatsoever.
01:26:25.560 Maybe on X, they've got 23 followers.
01:26:27.860 That's a dead giveaway for a bot.
01:26:30.460 Don't engage with them
01:26:31.580 because they'll only get you upset.
01:26:35.680 But ultimately, what we need is for Trump,
01:26:38.780 and he probably will do this anyway
01:26:40.380 because you know that Canada's one of his targets.
01:26:42.920 He's going to say, get the hell out of Canada
01:26:45.540 and Mexico for that matter.
01:26:47.560 Like they've already started the work
01:26:48.740 on getting China out of Mexico. But with the fentanyl and with all of the deals that Carney's
01:26:55.880 been making on the side with China, no. Trump is not going to have a Chinese way station sitting
01:27:06.020 on their northern border. So he's going to tell them, get out. Get out of Canada.
01:27:13.060 Speaking of Chinese and Canada, this happened in Toronto at the Chinese consulate a couple of days
01:27:18.700 ago there's a woman standing outside the consulate she's a fal gong and that religion falu gong i
01:27:26.420 think it's called it's a it's a new thing it's kind of like a cultish sort of thing combination
01:27:31.040 of three or four different religions falun gong anyway this has become prohibited in china because
01:27:37.240 you can't be religious in china because you're supposed to worship the state you're supposed to
01:27:42.640 worship fearless leader great leader xi jinping right so they look badly on falun gong and this
01:27:52.140 woman standing in front of the chinese consulate in toronto with a sign condemning communism
01:27:58.020 watch this chinese dude walk out of the consulate grab the sign and then start cursing this is kind
01:28:06.100 of amazing action. Now, that guy, to me, does not look too physically imposing. He's got a big mouth
01:28:23.120 on him, and he reminds me of the villain in Karate Kid 2, to be completely honest. But this guy
01:28:29.780 saying, oh, just get out of here. Why don't you go over and kick his ass or slap his face or
01:28:33.720 something let's see what you get you know not that i'm promoting violence here but just this
01:28:38.800 kind of conduct to me is unacceptable anybody who tries to do that you know with me around i'm i'm
01:28:45.060 gonna get up in their grill and i certainly hope you feel the same way because nobody should be
01:28:49.660 able to get away with this kind of nonsense the guy takes her sign he says f canada where's your
01:28:54.800 elbows buddy this is canada
01:28:57.080 Look at this. Look at what he says here in the subtitles at the bottom. This is pretty much
01:29:11.120 a summation of how China thinks of Canada. I'll effing put this at your Canadian doorstep.
01:29:17.680 What are you going to do about it? What are you going to do?
01:29:27.080 Yeah. So, you know, aside from all of the irregular immigrants that have popped over
01:29:46.080 the border in these past six or seven years, and by the way, I saw some preliminary numbers
01:29:50.760 from this, the latest census,
01:29:53.680 Canada's population has grown to 42 million.
01:29:57.200 42 million.
01:30:00.300 In the 2016 census, two censuses ago,
01:30:04.440 our population was barely 38 million.
01:30:07.580 So we've grown 4 million people in the last 10 years.
01:30:11.820 And that's definitely not because of our birth rate,
01:30:14.640 which is at an all-time low right now of 1.25%.
01:30:20.760 okay that's it for social media tonight you guys um i do have something to play for you on

01:32:08.840 i'd read about it in the past but watching this you know 30 minute documentary i went wow there's
01:32:14.280 a lot of similarities between what went on then and what's going on now in the west and how this
01:32:22.280 totalitarian communist government came to be in the first place under mao zidang so we're going
01:32:27.720 to do that in a couple of minutes at shadow davis.com and by the way in the telegram group

01:34:07.220 We'll be right back.
01:34:37.220 You know, it's interesting, a lot of what's been going on, by the way, welcome back, you
01:34:52.100 guys.
01:34:52.780 Good to be here with you.
01:34:54.220 A lot of what's been going on in the West, Canada, United States, Europe for probably
01:35:00.700 longer than 10 years now, but it started, I recall this very, very, very clearly.
01:35:07.220 back in 2017 or 2018 and i was working for chorus radio in winnipeg i was
01:35:12.420 hosting their morning show on news talk cjob and in the last year that i was there
01:35:20.900 things started to change with management and they were starting to go you could see they were
01:35:26.260 starting to go far far more left-leaning than they had been ever now because i was not like that
01:35:33.860 i was immediately targeted for a constructive dismissal and there was one other guy called
01:35:38.020 jeff courier who went through the same kind of thing but what they were doing were these symposiums
01:35:45.460 every couple of weeks they'd bring in this new speaker and they talk about critical race theory
01:35:51.940 and about how white supremacy has been a curse on this country and all of that woke stuff
01:35:57.620 and back then i because i didn't know about any of this stuff back then i was told you cannot be
01:36:03.300 racist against white people you can only be racist against people if they're black if they're yellow
01:36:08.980 if they're brown if they're red if they're gay and so on and so on and so on but definitely not white
01:36:14.820 people ever you can be sexist against women but not against men that was the trope that we were
01:36:20.820 being fed now i remember the first time that something like this happened you know we all
01:36:26.820 got an email and said we're having this thing at 10 o'clock in the boardroom blah blah blah
01:36:30.740 i sat there for two minutes watching this thing and i went what the hell is this i said to the
01:36:35.720 person sitting next to me what the hell is this and she went and i got up and walked out my boss
01:36:41.820 was sitting right there he was aghast his jaw was going i said see you later dude i'm not i'm not
01:36:48.940 doing this and so of course he called me into his office later on and said well that was
01:36:53.600 disrespectful i said what they were saying in there was completely disrespectful to me
01:36:57.900 and i'm not listening to it i don't care if it's your policy or not i'm not buying this
01:37:02.320 nonsense at all but they were indoctrinating the younger people there who had already been
01:37:08.560 indoctrinated because they were fresh out of university or journalism school and some of
01:37:14.420 the older guys who were more center right they sat and listened to it didn't absorb any of it
01:37:22.700 but sat and listened to it and played the game knowing that if they didn't, they would lose
01:37:28.340 their jobs. Now, I eventually lost mine. I didn't even care anymore. But some of these people,
01:37:34.140 the ones that got along to go along, they're still there. And I can imagine that in thousands
01:37:43.200 of other workplaces around this country, it's been the same kind of nonsense for years and years
01:37:50.120 and years and how many people have they managed to indoctrinate and how many people have they
01:37:56.240 managed to alienate and minimize because of all this crap these are called struggle sessions
01:38:02.560 if you somehow are sent to human resources because you looked at somebody the wrong way
01:38:10.800 like it's passive racism or whatever they call it
01:38:14.300 you have to go sit in a struggle session although they don't call it that they call it
01:38:20.120 uh, progressive management or some other ridiculous name, but it's a struggle session.
01:38:28.460 They basically, it's like Scientology where they, they tear you down to the point where you're just
01:38:34.500 a worn little nub and then they build you back up into their own image. And maybe that's how
01:38:42.180 some of the weaker people, some of the older weaker people have come to believe that this
01:38:47.640 is in fact a valid ideology i've often wondered that maybe i just answered that question on my
01:38:54.040 own just thinking out loud here but anyway that's what's been going on and the similarities to what
01:39:00.200 happened during the chinese cultural revolution back in the 1960s is remarkable
01:39:08.680 not as brutal physically but just the same children they used mao zedong used children
01:39:17.640 beating on their teachers and their parents public humiliations head shavings
01:39:24.980 while a crowd cheers because these people are old think
01:39:29.640 or they're they were called uh
01:39:35.580 far far right extremists i believe anyway here it is the history of the chinese cultural revolution
01:39:43.440 In our world, there will be no emotions except fear, rage, triumph and self-abasement.
01:40:06.480 There will be no loyalty except loyalty to the party.
01:40:11.480 But always there will be the intoxication of power.
01:40:17.480 Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory.
01:40:23.480 The sensation of trampling on an enemy is helpless.
01:40:28.480 The great proletarian cultural revolution had begun,
01:40:31.480 and the spawning grounds for the movement was every single school,
01:40:34.480 single school in every town in every province in the country.
01:40:38.480 All normal schooling had stopped and had been replaced with a rigorous indoctrination campaign.
01:40:44.020 All normal classes and school activity stopped and the study of Mao's quotations and the
01:40:48.920 reading of the state-run newspaper had come to totally dominate school hours.
01:40:53.920 Even during the ever-decreasing time spent not thinking about Mao's dong thought, loudspeakers
01:40:59.240 would play people's daily editorials at max volume the entire day, ensuring that not a
01:41:04.520 moment went by where children weren't sponging up the propaganda with their malleable minds.
01:41:09.720 Students were expected to engage in revolutionary activity, leading them to form their own cliques
01:41:15.000 which they called Red Guards. The Red Guards for the most part were not run by anyone,
01:41:19.560 but simply were the students' own creations. Together, they would practice drills, get
01:41:24.600 politically active and make propaganda with what were known as big character posters,
01:41:29.240 large white strips of paper contrasted by the confrontational words of rebellion in bold black
01:41:34.520 ink. In an attempt to save the proletariat, the Red Guards would organize to discuss who the
01:41:40.120 traitors to the revolution were, but naturally, as they were children, they weren't too familiar with
01:41:44.760 adults outside of their parents and teachers. It would be the university students who would lead
01:41:49.480 the way. Having more organizational skills and better knowledge of their immediate political
01:41:54.280 environment, the university students were swift in their persecutions.
01:41:59.040 First on the chopping block were the people who had been originally persecuted during
01:42:02.460 the anti-rightist campaigns six years ago.
01:42:05.660 There was a time when Mao had petitioned the public, particularly the intellectuals, to
01:42:09.780 provide critical feedback to the government to help them in their policy decisions.
01:42:14.360 But in a bipolar change of mood, Mao ended up persecuting these volunteers, calling them
01:42:19.240 them rightists, as in referring to someone who is politically positioned on the right.
01:42:24.240 These same people, most of whom were university faculty members, were at first taunted outside
01:42:29.500 their class, met with student protesters who would heckle them during their classes and
01:42:34.360 finally they would be held against their will and subjected to struggle sessions.
01:42:38.780 A struggle session was the use of a dozen or more people to apply psychological and
01:42:43.320 peer pressure to force someone to admit their guilt for something, whereby they would be
01:42:47.380 forced to say or write out a self-criticism. As a greater percentage of the students became
01:42:53.140 radicalized and the party propaganda of the People's Daily riled up people about an ongoing
01:42:58.140 revolution with the oppressive capitalists, the struggle sessions would become more violent
01:43:02.940 and lead to out of control situations fueled by the passions of the mob. Professors were
01:43:07.260 punched and kicked and their heads shaved, forced to kneel for hours at a time on grains
01:43:12.520 of rice or glass until they made their self-criticism.
01:43:16.300 Once the self-criticism has been made though, there is no turning back and their admission
01:43:20.380 of guilt turns them into a greater class enemy than they were before.
01:43:24.580 The same violent mob that attacked them the first time would be back every single day
01:43:28.920 or week to ensure that they never forgot their guilt and they would be forced to go through
01:43:33.360 the same humiliating rituals again and again.
01:43:36.480 No teacher was safe.
01:43:38.160 In university, where normal classes were still being held, students would comb through every
01:43:42.840 phrase and sentence of their professors to scan for counter-revolutionary or capitalist
01:43:48.060 rhetoric.
01:43:49.060 They would listen to what words he would emphasize, how he said it, why he brought up one subject
01:43:53.980 and not another, and wonder how he came about such information.
01:43:58.460 With one professor teaching hundreds of students per class and thousands of sets of eyeballs
01:44:03.840 every week, monitoring every word, every intonation, every glance. It only took one indignant student
01:44:09.680 to leap up from the sea and yell out, YO GUI! In the mix of shock, horror, disgust, excitement
01:44:16.320 and terror, every person had to make a calculated decision that would affect the rest of their lives.
01:44:22.000 An accusation could be made by anyone at any time for any reason, no matter how utterly stupid it
01:44:27.600 was. But to go against it could have been a death sentence, and would invoke the same wrath of the
01:44:32.640 mob that was once directed at the professor. Whether sincere or not, cowered by fear or
01:44:38.160 motivated by bloodlust, the students one by one pricked up the courage to clear their
01:44:42.960 voice and joined in on the tirade against the teacher for everything and anything,
01:44:47.760 and barring that, relying on one size fits all party approved slogans,
01:44:52.720 capitalist rota, counter-revolutionary, socialist bourgeoisie, bull demon, white snake.
01:44:58.800 A large portion of the campus was added to the rank of the Red Guards who made such hostile
01:45:04.260 activities a focus of their contribution to the revolution.
01:45:08.240 No matter how timid and horrified, you Red Guards were infected with the same bloodlust
01:45:13.200 by way of not wanting to stand out from the crowd, leading them eventually to become the
01:45:17.180 one to make the first denunciation against someone or by hurling the first insult, being
01:45:21.640 the first to accuse and eventually the first to land a physical blow.
01:45:25.640 More often than not, the fear of being accused as a capitalist sympathiser was enough for
01:45:30.300 some newbies to wind up surpassing their predecessors in cruelty.
01:45:34.680 What became confined to the campuses eventually spilled out onto the streets.
01:45:39.100 The professors who finished work would soon find that the revolution didn't finish when
01:45:42.860 they clocked out at 5pm, but would be followed to the street where he would be continued
01:45:46.760 to be heckled and harassed.
01:45:48.820 Soon the professor would find no rest as his students protested outside their homes, vandalised
01:45:54.400 their property and harass their families. It would then be discovered that the revolution
01:45:59.200 didn't stop even when they went home to rest. The ultimate culmination of this violent hostility
01:46:05.000 was the house raid. In an orgy of bloodshed and senseless violence, the students would
01:46:10.060 break into the accused home, taking the professor and frequently his whole family hostage while
01:46:15.500 they rummaged through every item in his house to find more evidence of his capitalist or
01:46:20.080 counter-revolutionary leanings.
01:46:22.600 As in every case, evidence was always found, leaving the accused of having all their possessions
01:46:27.860 taken away one by one by the students.
01:46:31.040 In that haven for radical youth, Shanghai alone saw a quarter of a million houses raided
01:46:36.360 in such a fashion.
01:46:37.800 The standard ritual was the break-in, then the looting, the denunciation, then the self-critique
01:46:43.060 and then the torture.
01:46:44.400 The anguish of psychological torment and humiliation was mental torture enough, but physical torture
01:46:49.800 was no less horrifying. Whippings, burnings, electrocuting became the pastime of millions
01:46:55.740 of youth around the country. Beijing would come to learn a new meaning of terror as cinemas
01:47:00.900 and opera theatres were turned into torture chambers by these students. Typically people
01:47:05.860 weren't suddenly plucked up and taken to these places, but after the humiliations at
01:47:10.240 school, the harassment outside of it, and finally after the house raids, would victims
01:47:14.980 find themselves kidnapped and strapped to a chair in the dark being tortured by their
01:47:18.880 own students while they scream out their self-loathing statements of self-criticism.
01:47:23.600 Averite murder was rare though. There was a report written to Mao from the Xinhua
01:47:27.760 Printing Unit who said thus, quote, After this woman was labelled a counter-revolutionary,
01:47:32.960 one day when she was doing forced labour and the guard turned his eyes away,
01:47:36.800 she rushed up to the fourth floor in the woman's dormitory, jumped out of a window and killed
01:47:40.800 herself. Of course, it is inevitable that the counter-revolutionaries should kill themselves,
01:47:45.600 but it is a pity that we now have one less negative example. Mao wrote on this report,
01:47:51.600 this is the best written report of all the similar reports I have read.
01:47:55.920 Despite the horror of the Cultural Revolution, it doesn't have as many deaths as other atrocities
01:48:00.880 during other periods in Chinese history. This is because a live scapegoat was imperative to
01:48:05.680 continue to provide an enemy for the revolution. Such a notion was a key focus for the leaders of
01:48:10.880 the Cultural Revolution who knew that if all the supposed capitalist perpetrators were killed,
01:48:15.520 there would be no enemy left to fight. The revolution wasn't one that was fought with a
01:48:20.000 rifle to capture territory from an enemy. The objective was to capture the hearts and minds
01:48:24.960 of the youth. Only by making even the most timid child violent towards his class enemies
01:48:30.640 could he be immunised from the capitalist tricks for a lifetime and putting one bullet in one
01:48:35.680 person was not sufficient to meet this end.
01:48:38.880 For all those unfortunate scapegoats who sought death but did not find it, or decided to die
01:48:43.780 but death fled from them, they would frequently resort to suicide.
01:48:47.740 Knowing the full consequences of what a denunciation entailed, suicide upon the first accusation
01:48:53.120 was not an uncommon thing and as time dragged on, the chances of suicide would climb higher
01:48:58.320 and higher.
01:48:59.880 The leading cause of death during the Cultural Revolution was not outright political murders
01:49:04.440 nor famine, but suicide, people were tortured into insanity by the youth. With their career
01:49:10.420 stripped from them, with their family potentially having turned on them, to be ridiculed constantly
01:49:15.960 and made to cry out their guilt for simply existing, after having all their property
01:49:20.500 taken and to be regularly tortured and humiliated publicly, many people simply cracked.
01:49:27.440 Key in Mao's cultural revolution was the elimination of the socialist pretenders within
01:49:31.640 his own party, or as he called them, Socialist Bourgeoisie. Mao's strategy can be described
01:49:38.020 as flooding the whole world to kill his enemies living at the top of the tallest mountains.
01:49:42.820 He wanted the heads of Zhou Enlai, Niu Xiaoqi, Deng Xiaoping and all the other officials
01:49:47.660 who disagreed with him and any innocent person who got caught up in his own power struggle
01:49:52.600 was just collateral damage. Redguard-like factions within the communist party formed
01:49:57.420 in a similar fashion to the Red Guard units, often being referred to as rebel groups.
01:50:02.380 They, like their Red Guard counterparts, were the organized wing of fanaticism and terror
01:50:07.340 within the Communist Party's organs which had tens of millions of members.
01:50:11.840 These rebel cliques would have more ability than the street side youth to more directly
01:50:15.780 persecute now's actual enemies within the party, whilst at the same time they ascended
01:50:20.560 up the ranks owing to their devotion.
01:50:23.460 the overall trend of the university students, the high school, middle school and elementary
01:50:28.260 school students would be hypnotised by the same insanity and now many of the school teachers
01:50:33.040 would suffer the same fate.
01:50:35.220 In the People's Daily, Mao directly reached out to the school aged youth calling for the
01:50:39.820 smashing of the examination system which was in fact the nefarious creation of the bourgeoisie.
01:50:46.620 Some teachers had found sticky ways to avoid denunciation, perhaps by emphasising their
01:50:51.220 proletarian class background, but for the most part, school teachers became the most
01:50:55.840 persecuted group in China during the Cultural Revolution.
01:50:59.240 With their very own teachers having been agents of evil all along, schools came to be run
01:51:03.940 almost entirely by the school students themselves and a few captive teachers.
01:51:09.040 Despite the state of dysfunction, school students along with the teachers would obediently go
01:51:13.720 to school every day like it was just another day, but upon arriving to school for another
01:51:18.160 day of hard work, the teachers would be detained by their teenage captors, given a fresh beating
01:51:23.760 and perhaps forced to help with the administrative aspect of running the school. In practically
01:51:28.640 every school in the entire nation, teachers were rounded up by the students and locked
01:51:33.440 in classrooms. Headmasters were tied up, beaten, tortured and in many cases outright murdered
01:51:39.360 by the school children. The teachers acquiesced to their students demand because the culture
01:51:44.400 and Mao himself was on their side.
01:51:46.960 They were left to their fate.
01:51:48.820 Many students sought the safety of their own parents by denouncing their teacher, but with
01:51:53.080 teachers getting fewer and fewer, they settled for other adults, perhaps the parents of their
01:51:57.860 schoolmates.
01:51:58.860 But at the same time, frequently, in a euphoria of hate and perhaps a hint of revenge, children
01:52:04.520 turned into their own parents, forcing them to their schools and having them subjected
01:52:08.960 to the senseless violence of their peers.
01:52:11.780 The Cultural Revolution had brutalized human relationships and alienated countless families.
01:52:17.680 No adult was safe from the children.
01:52:21.000 Although the Red Guards were essentially leaderless, there was generally a certain pecking order
01:52:25.340 amongst the cliques and just like in a high school cafeteria, some Red Guard cliques were
01:52:29.780 more popular, powerful and influential than others.
01:52:33.240 The most powerful Red Guard factions were operated by the powerful children of the privileged
01:52:38.000 party elite.
01:52:39.460 Frequently these privileged kids had some sense of inherent class guilt they inherited
01:52:43.880 from their parents, leading them to overcompensating to the point of being some of the most brutally
01:52:48.760 savage of all the red guards.
01:52:51.260 People in China were referred to as either red, grey or black.
01:52:55.600 Red was the colour of somewhat of proletariat background or a party official.
01:53:00.100 Grey was somewhat of an ambiguous background, perhaps her father was a shop clerk.
01:53:04.420 Then there was black, referring to a capitalist, which pretty much included everything else.
01:53:09.980 Because of someone's family background dating back two generations was the primary way people
01:53:14.360 came to evaluate each other's political status, the elite red guards of official backgrounds
01:53:19.600 were notorious for their bullying.
01:53:21.680 In every school, children of the black and grey were horribly abused by children of the
01:53:26.180 red.
01:53:27.180 The red children used the black and grey children as forced labour, making them sweep the school
01:53:31.940 grounds, clean the toilets, bow their heads in public at all times and accept the lecturing
01:53:37.440 of any red guard at any moment.
01:53:39.880 The black and grey children were surveilled throughout the school day to ensure they don't
01:53:44.060 secretly carry out oppressive capitalist activities and at the end of the day they had to report
01:53:48.940 their thoughts to their red guard classmates.
01:53:52.820 School children were committing suicide at astounding levels due to the abuse but instead
01:53:57.600 Instead of empathy, suicide is considered an omission of guilt for their secretly counter-revolutionary
01:54:03.100 ways, justifying the actions of their classmates who had driven them to suicide.
01:54:08.560 Like a storm of irony without end, the powerful red guard children of the party elite would
01:54:13.860 frequently end when their own parents would fall under the crucible of persecution, causing
01:54:18.820 their own downfall within their clique and become the subject of denunciations themselves.
01:54:24.660 As teachers remained locked in their cages, detained in dugout pits, and tortured in
01:54:29.760 abandoned theatres, the young captors only had one innocent dream in mind, to please
01:54:35.380 the chairman, and they finally got their wish.
01:54:39.000 Mao announced his official endorsement of the Red Guards in the party press for the
01:54:42.880 first time, whipping the zealous students into euphoric frenzy, for to be directly
01:54:47.720 addressed by their idol, it was like receiving God's approval for their hard work.
01:54:53.160 On the 18th of August 1966, 13 million Red Guard youth flocked to Tiananmen Square to
01:55:00.080 attend one of six rallies.
01:55:02.280 Mao's right-hand man, Lin Biao, announced to the swathe of bloodthirsty youngsters to
01:55:07.720 smash the four olds, old ideas, old cultures, old customs and old habits.
01:55:15.000 The peak of the frenzy came when Mao Zedong stepped onto the podium and conversed with
01:55:20.000 Red Guard leader Song Bin Bin in front of a pulsating crowd.
01:55:24.620 Mao asked what her name was, to which the youth replied Song Bin Bin, which could be
01:55:29.500 translated as Song the Polite.
01:55:32.320 Amongst the millions of gleaming followers, Mao looked at her disapprovingly and said to
01:55:37.100 her, your name should be Song the Militant.
01:55:40.760 Only a few weeks later, Song would lead a rebellion at her Beijing-based high school
01:55:45.480 and upon capturing the school's headmaster would beat her to death with a stick.
01:55:50.540 The words of Mao to Songbinbin caused the youth to go berserk and Beijing would be turned
01:55:55.820 upside down.
01:55:57.160 Hundreds of thousands of fanatics would pour into the streets and smash any statues, any
01:56:02.640 sculptures, any paintings or antiques they could get their hands on, whilst accusing
01:56:07.360 their owners of being class traitors.
01:56:10.340 These class traitors would then be forced to wear a dunce hat or a kung and be paraded
01:56:14.960 through the streets where they would be met with the abuse of hundreds of people. It either
01:56:19.700 ended in their detention by the Red Guards, torture, murder or their suicide. If they
01:56:25.140 survived the ordeal, they would be met with scathing abuse every waking moment, losing
01:56:30.580 their jobs, their families, their friends and even all their possessions. The intellectuals
01:56:36.020 and the artists were severely affected and frequently committed suicide, watching their
01:56:40.480 life's work being burnt to ashes or smashed pieces.
01:56:44.400 Soon nearly all private collections and treasures were destroyed.
01:56:48.000 Museums were raided, palaces, temples, ancient tombs, statues, pagodas,
01:56:53.680 city walls were ransacked. In the People's Daily, Mao praised these heroic acts of rebellion
01:56:59.840 and encouraged the nation to support them. The persecution then expanded to landlords
01:57:05.120 who for the Marxists were considered capitalism personified.
01:57:08.560 Although private property had been abolished 20 years beforehand, information was dug up
01:57:13.280 about people's past and if they had ever owned any property, even if it was 50 years ago,
01:57:18.480 their fate would be sealed. The same was true for anyone who was potentially involved with
01:57:23.120 the Kuomintang Nationalists who had conceded defeat almost 20 years prior.
01:57:27.920 At a humongous rally on the 15th of September, Lin Biao announced on his podium, quote,
01:57:34.000 Redguard fighters, the direction of your battles has always been correct. You have soundly,
01:57:40.480 heartily, battered the capitalist rodals, the revolutionary bourgeoisie authorities,
01:57:46.240 the bloodsuckers and parasites. You have done the right thing, and you have done marvellously.
01:57:53.520 This is followed by deafening cheers, fanatical shouts of love for Chairman Mao, and tears of joy,
01:58:00.720 and standing out amongst the chanting were the words,
01:58:04.240 Wan Sui, Wan Sui, Wan Wan Sui.
01:58:08.240 10,000 years, 10,000 years, 10,000 years.
01:58:12.320 A slogan that was unmistakably, exclusively used for the Emperor since ancient times,
01:58:18.880 meant to call for the Emperor's rule for another 10,000 years.
01:58:22.640 People were also beginning to kowtow to portraits of Mao,
01:58:25.760 in the same vein one would with the Emperor.
01:58:28.320 There was no doubt that after only 55 years from the fall of the Qing emperor that a new
01:58:33.600 emperor had been coronated. The existential, God-sized void that had existed since the
01:58:39.440 fall of the cult of the emperor had finally been filled and whether out of fame or infamy,
01:58:44.800 Mao galvanized his position amongst the pantheon of gods and emperors for the rest of Chinese history.
01:58:51.840 With the support of Mao, Rudgaard took on the role of detectives who worked hand in
01:58:56.560 in hand with the police in order to dig up people's past.
01:59:00.280 The police under Mao's control gave to the Red Guards previously confidential information
01:59:05.020 about all the people in the past that had ever been punished for political reasons.
01:59:09.740 Mao told his police chief, Xue Fu-Jiu, not to be bound by the old laws, no matter if they
01:59:15.240 had been sent by the police authorities or the state.
01:59:18.060 Xue Fu-Jiu stated to his comrades, quote, I'm not in favour of beating people to death,
01:59:23.240 But if some Red Guards hate the class enemies so much that they want to kill them, you aren't
01:59:27.480 forced to stop them.
01:59:29.040 As a result, waves of beatings and torture swept the country, particularly during the
01:59:34.120 aforementioned house raids, where victims were forced to kneel to their Red Guard overlords
01:59:38.680 and endure their beatings.
01:59:40.800 There was a great thrill, many children felt from having power over the adults, and they
01:59:45.200 reveled in being handed the tools of tyranny.
01:59:48.020 The supposed secret oppressive institutions within society that they were summoned to
01:59:52.200 fight against gave them permission to become oppressors in time, an irony
01:59:56.480 completely lost on them, as it was such actions that fulfilled their ambition to
02:00:00.960 attain power for themselves. For them, unlike the oppressive capitalists, only
02:00:06.060 they had a right to be oppressive to others. The Red Guards would go around
02:00:10.620 and change the name of streets, making sure to remove any capitalist sounding
02:00:14.920 words and replacing it with malware slogans. Shops, whose names retained
02:00:19.820 capitalist sounding characters or contained references to China's past were smashed.
02:00:25.460 For instance, having the very common character, Jin, in your store name would be enough to
02:00:30.400 have bricks thrown through your window.
02:00:32.640 The traffic around the country also ground to a halt.
02:00:35.980 Red stoplights came to be identified as counter-revolutionary by the youth.
02:00:40.260 Red, being the symbol of the revolution and thus the symbol of progress, ran contrary
02:00:45.820 to the notion that red should mean stop. As such, drivers were forced to now stop when
02:00:51.140 it was green and drive when it was red. Worse yet, people were pulled over by the young
02:00:56.240 students who commanded them to drive on the left side as opposed to the right side because
02:01:01.320 socialists are left-wing and capitalists are right-wing.
02:01:05.420 Not everyone got the message though, causing car crashes in almost every major street and
02:01:09.760 blocking up the roads. Behaviours such as gentleness and politeness were now considered
02:01:15.360 bourgeoisie and not suited to the Cultural Revolution. So the Red Guards were swollen
02:01:20.240 with menace. One could easily be attacked if someone so much as gave a thank you or excuse me,
02:01:25.840 such a person would be branded as a bourgeois hypocrite. This is why younger generations today
02:01:31.600 accuse the older generation of having no manners as courtesy had gone extinct for that generation.
02:01:37.680 For Mao, the teenage operated Red Guards were his ideal shock troops and agents.
02:01:42.960 They were naturally rebellious, self-conscious and approval-seeking, and keen to seek direction
02:01:48.320 offered by an older male role model, and above all, unlike the wretched Khrushchevs in his own
02:01:53.440 party, the children would follow him to the ends of the earth. Like a real war, the one they faced
02:01:59.920 was marked by a mix of peak adrenaline and monotony. Students were compelled to attend
02:02:04.880 school despite the end of formal education and leased about doing either nothing or taking
02:02:09.840 political action and with fewer and fewer enemies left to fight and the growing confusion
02:02:14.540 about who was and who wasn't a capitalist rota, naturally they would turn on themselves
02:02:19.460 and schools would become a war zone of competing red guard factions. Such fights could be sparked
02:02:24.500 over trivial personal disputes or varying interpretations of Mao Zedong fought. These
02:02:29.880 factional struggles across schools and universities all across the country would start in the
02:02:34.680 summer of 1967, hardly a year after the Cultural Revolution officially began, and for want
02:02:40.400 of enemies, these young radicals were left to cannibalize each other.
02:02:45.060 The fighting ranged from roving gangs of elementary age school children having fistfights after
02:02:50.000 school to full on gangland style wars involving automatic weapons, grenades, machine guns,
02:02:56.260 mortars and tanks?
02:02:58.640 That escalated quickly, how'd the kids get these things?
02:03:01.800 In one of Mao's many gushing showings of support for the Red Guards and the People's
02:03:06.400 Daily, in January 1967, he openly called for the People's Liberation Army to arm the
02:03:12.460 young students for self-defense, all the while not telling the army which factions to support.
02:03:18.620 As such, armories were simply left open as kids fixed bayonets to rifles, teams manned
02:03:24.680 machine guns, while older kids climbed into tanks.
02:03:28.440 They were joined by fellow Red Guard units from within the army who came in support of
02:03:32.540 their brothers by offering them technical assistance and experienced firepower.
02:03:37.580 There were Red Guard factional wars in every province by different cliques and over different
02:03:41.960 reasons, frequently very trivial reasons of that.
02:03:45.760 Some of the worst fighting was in Sichuan, where a large amount of China's armories
02:03:49.340 and weapons factories lay.
02:03:51.400 What started as name calling and fisticuffs exploded into a clumsily operated modern conventional
02:03:56.800 war by fanatical youth against one another. The army, which had become not much more than
02:04:01.920 a political institution by this stage, gave weapons and equipment to practically anyone
02:04:06.460 who asked. But Mao would finally meet a roadblock. Someone said no.
02:04:12.240 Every single aspect of society had totally capitulated to Mao, but there was one place
02:04:16.760 where he hadn't fully gained control. Although Lin Biao had been installed into position
02:04:22.040 over the People's Liberation Army, he wasn't respected at the upper command level.
02:04:27.220 The purging of Pengdehuai had soured a lot of military officers against Mao and unlike
02:04:32.280 the power of the party officials that fell prey to Mao, the military officers power was
02:04:37.300 tied to kinetic force and as such holdouts of resistance remained strong.
02:04:42.880 The army sent planes over Chengdu, showering the city with leaflets, ordering the students
02:04:47.660 to go home and to put an end to the fighting.
02:04:50.640 This was the first sign to the public that Mao and the party slash army were at such
02:04:55.020 dire odds with each other and that the revolution was far more wide reaching than they had realised.
02:05:01.020 Unfortunately, Mao simply used this opportunity to identify who it was that put their heads
02:05:05.700 up to speak out so they could be purged once and for all, replacing them with rebel fanatics.
02:05:11.220 And so the flow of arms continued pouring out into the streets.
02:05:15.020 Mao's goal was to harness the violent chaos to be directed at its political opponents
02:05:19.800 who teed it on the brink.
02:05:22.020 It was not so simple though.
02:05:23.720 Although the party officials lacked the kinetic power of the army, their skillful wielding
02:05:28.500 of political power made them very tough opponents to defeat.
02:05:32.400 Having honed their survival skills for decades thanks to political infighting, these veterans
02:05:37.160 had their own strategies.
02:05:39.280 Party officials would form alliances with street level red guard factions by way of sharing
02:05:44.080 party privilege or gaining control of their own cliques through their children.
02:05:49.100 Calling a Red Guard clique was imperative for survival in this political landscape and
02:05:53.720 was often justified by saying, raising the red flag to fight the red flag.
02:05:59.160 Of all the factual fighting of the Cultural Revolution, the most shocking was the one
02:06:03.140 in Guangxi that led to what came to be known as the Guangxi Massacre.
02:06:07.300 In March 1967, two Red Guard factions had emerged to the fore in Guangxi, the United
02:06:12.940 Headquarters faction and the 422 faction who engaged in ferocious fighting.
02:06:18.360 Like all the other factional quarrels, the Del's students had been duped into believing
02:06:22.400 that the enemy they were fighting was the famed counter-revolutionary force that the
02:06:26.760 party propaganda was always talking about when in reality it was essentially a political
02:06:31.540 struggle between Wei Guoqing, a high ranking party member, and Zhou Enlai.
02:06:36.360 The United Headquarters faction supported Wei Guoqing in becoming the Cultural Revolutionary
02:06:40.840 Authority in Guangxi, while the 422 faction also supported him but wanted him to do a
02:06:46.640 self-criticism first. Joe and Mike provided political cover for 422 while he in turn received
02:06:53.040 the street level support of their faction. Because of political power emerging out of
02:06:57.520 the grassroots level, rebel groups and soldiers would join such Red Guard factions to gain
02:07:02.920 protection and get action in fighting the real counter revolutionaries while in turn
02:07:08.000 they provided military or political support. Things started to get kinetic when the regional
02:07:12.760 military sided with the United Headquarters faction and announced that the 422 Click was
02:07:18.080 the real counter-revolutionary force.
02:07:21.180 Unable to withstand the firepower of a professional military, the 422 Click were brutally executed,
02:07:27.980 resulting in a massacre of 150,000 people.
02:07:31.460 They were killed by beheading, beating, life burial, stoning, drowning, boiling and disembowelment.
02:07:38.260 According to Yan Le Bin, a member of the Ministry of Public Security who investigated the incident
02:07:43.020 at a later date, quote,
02:07:45.060 In 1968, 38 people in Wuxuan County were eaten and 113 officials of the county participated
02:07:53.300 in the eating of human flesh, hearts and livers.
02:07:57.380 Chen Guorong, a peasant from Guigang County who happened to pass by Wuxuan, was caught
02:08:02.980 and killed by local militia because he was fat.
02:08:06.440 His heart and liver were taken out while his flesh was distributed to 20 people.
02:08:11.700 A female militia leader ate 6 human livers in total and cut the genitals of 5 men and
02:08:17.280 soaked them in alcohol which she would drink later, claiming that these organs were beneficial
02:08:21.940 to her health.
02:08:23.200 The behaviour of eating human flesh, hearts and livers occurred in many counties of Guangxi.
02:08:28.920 Young teenage boys who made up the ranks of the Red Guards of Guangxi were particularly
02:08:33.380 inhuman.
02:08:34.380 In one case, according to official records, a person had dynamite bound to their backs
02:08:39.360 and was blown to pieces just for fun.
02:08:41.960 Such random acts of violence committed for entertainment was not uncommon at the time.
02:08:46.640 They also report that in 1968, quote, a geography instructor named Wu Shufang was beaten to
02:08:52.440 death by students at Wu Xuan Middle School, was carried to the flatstones of the Qian River
02:08:57.560 where another teacher was forced at gunpoint to rip out her heart and liver with which
02:09:02.040 the students took back to the school to barbecue and eat. Mao would chime in with his opinion
02:09:07.800 about the factionalism and the armed conflict in the People's Daily saying quote,
02:09:12.120 it is not a bad thing to let the young have some practice in using arms, we haven't had a war in
02:09:16.920 so long end quote. Madam Mao would go further and say that the factional fighting that was occurring
02:09:22.920 was an extension of the struggle between the communists and the Kuomintang without specifying
02:09:28.680 which group was which with revolutionaries fighting other revolutionaries who they
02:09:33.720 accused of being counter-revolutionary now had achieved his goal total chaos and endless revolution
02:09:48.840 so i i asked you to come up with
02:09:52.040 with similarities between what happened then in China and what's happening now in the West.
02:10:00.620 And while not as extreme, at least not so far, it's a lot of the same stuff.
02:10:07.100 You get a former school board trustee in British Columbia
02:10:12.860 fined $750,000 and an attempted public humiliation
02:10:18.120 because he says the wrong thing, according to them,
02:10:23.100 which is drag queens don't belong in schools.
02:10:27.620 You've got an activist in Alberta
02:10:29.980 who put out flyers against Rainbow Crosswalks,
02:10:34.100 and now they've got her at the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal
02:10:38.420 trying to vilify her in front of the entire province
02:10:42.300 and the entire country, for that matter.
02:10:44.400 these human rights tribunals are not human rights tribunals
02:10:49.000 they're public struggle sessions designed to make people
02:10:55.440 afraid
02:10:58.680 not the people who are going through them the people who might choose to speak up but choose
02:11:05.960 not to because they see what happened to Benita or what happened to Barry or what happened to
02:11:10.580 any of the doctors and nurses during covid that's exactly what's going on here so while it may not
02:11:17.940 be public floggings well it may not be public head shavings well it may not be a crowd of three
02:11:24.540 actually it is when you think about the antifa thing crowd of 300 brainwashed children screaming
02:11:31.560 in your face and i suppose we can ask francis widowson or dallas brody about that there are
02:11:37.380 plenty of similarities between what happened then and what's happening now. China did not survive
02:11:44.340 it. They went communist. They had no choice. The people who stood up against the red shirts were
02:11:50.360 killed, ugly killed. We can still fight back. Don't shrink from it. And when I say it, I'm not
02:12:02.700 talking about antifa some group of people that you may never experience in real life
02:12:08.200 from your own family and friends who may have been brainwashed or who are going along with
02:12:15.820 the narrative just so they don't have to give anything up in their lives
02:12:20.420 those are the people that we need to speak up the most
02:12:25.340 and we've got to put our own happiness
02:12:30.660 sorry
02:12:31.800 our own quiet lives
02:12:34.620 on the line to achieve that
02:12:36.920 because ultimately
02:12:38.520 if you sit there knowing everything you know
02:12:40.780 and stay silent you're truly not happy
02:12:42.800 inside are you
02:12:43.600 of course you're not you can't be
02:12:46.100 there's a reason you're here
02:12:48.220 and that is hopefully to gain
02:12:52.480 camaraderie and
02:12:54.560 some courage to move forward not suggesting that you guys haven't been brave since all of this
02:13:01.500 started but maybe a little more vocal and you don't have to yell i always repeat that you never
02:13:09.080 have to yell because yelling just it doesn't do anything anyway right speak up say something
02:13:17.180 people might look at you like you have three heads or they may look at you like oh god you're
02:13:23.080 doing don't stop stop say it anyway that's it for tonight you guys thank you i love you i appreciate
02:13:31.680 you and i will catch you tomorrow night at eight o'clock for another episode of the shadow davis
02:13:37.840 show a great sleep tonight and a great day tomorrow bye for now
02:13:53.080 We'll be right back.
