00:00:30.000 Thank you.
00:01:00.000 Well, hello, everybody,
00:01:29.160 and welcome to Extremely Casual Friday here on the Shadow at Night live stream for Friday,
00:01:35.320 August the 19th, 2022. On the show tonight, special guest Sheila Annette Lewis, who has been
00:01:40.980 denied life-saving transplant surgery in Alberta by her transplant team of doctors because she
00:01:48.060 refused to take the experimental demon juice. So we're going to talk to Sheila in just a few
00:01:55.700 minutes, and Jane Scharf, who is with Stand for Thee. She was the one who actually came up with
00:02:01.280 the idea of using the Canadian Bill of Rights to defend cases across the country, not the Canadian
00:02:08.340 Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Why? Because there are no holes in the Bill of Rights, so maybe we
00:02:12.960 can get Jane to talk a little bit about that later on on the show tonight. Hello, Steve. Hello, Russ.

00:07:34.060 a stomach thing it didn't feel like you know omicron according to the uh according to the
00:07:42.600 list of symptoms i had one of i don't know 10 or 11 of them i think it was just i think it was food

00:08:28.280 forced on people and has been for the past 18 months to find out more about these fantastic
00:08:33.120 products check out canada nanosilver.ca again that is canada nanosilver.ca all right i'm going
00:08:40.060 to bring her on now and uh she's a little bit nervous so get forgive her because you know
00:08:45.320 people aren't used to being on screen in front of hundreds if not thousands of people but Sheila
00:08:49.420 you want to know what and your friend Jane is she going to be joining us tonight I'm hoping so yes
00:08:53.820 okay well we're waiting on her right now but everybody please welcome Sheila Annette Lewis
00:08:59.740 from Alberta she is the one I saw you Sheila originally on Rebel News I think it was talking
00:09:05.800 about your court case and the situation that you've been in for the past two and a half years
00:09:11.160 regarding this transplant surgery you need.
00:09:14.440 The doctors told you that you can't get it,
00:09:17.740 this surgery, without being jabbed.
00:09:21.320 That's correct.
00:09:21.680 So how did this all come about?
00:09:24.460 Can you take us back to the beginning of the story, please?
00:09:27.480 Well, in late 2019, I ended up not feeling good or whatever,
00:09:33.260 but anyway, I was diagnosed with IPF.
00:09:38.200 It's very easy to look up, just put IPF in the search bar
00:09:40.880 I'm going to tell you what kind of a disease it is.
00:09:43.580 Sheila, people are saying we can hardly hear you.
00:09:45.820 Can we get you to speak up a little bit or maybe turn that fan off in the background there?
00:09:49.480 Oh, okay.
00:09:50.180 Just one sec.
00:09:52.040 All right.
00:09:53.060 Okay.
00:09:54.620 And so, yeah, so I was diagnosed in 2019 with IPF.
00:10:03.720 I went on to get a – we had to get a series of tests done.
00:10:07.880 There was hundreds of tests that had to get done from head to toe.
00:10:11.320 And when they say head to toe, you're tested for this disease and you're tested for it.
00:10:16.440 There's a ban, by the way, put on, so I can't say the name of the organ that I do need because the courts put a ban on me.
00:10:25.280 Is there anything else that's banned that we can't talk about?
00:10:28.400 Yeah, I can't say the names of the doctors.
00:10:31.240 I'm not allowed to say where the doctors are from, where the hospitals are, the names of the hospitals.
00:10:37.880 Um, all I can do is say, say Alberta. Okay. Other than that. Yeah. So, um, so anyway, we got all the testing done. I went for physio. I did everything. They asked me to take all my childhood vaccines all over again, uh, because I couldn't find the records for my vaccines, um, as a child.
00:10:58.220 So I complied with that.
00:11:00.460 I got that done.
00:11:01.580 I got that.
00:11:03.240 It took me a year to get all the shots redone again.
00:11:06.860 And the other shots I ended up getting as well.
00:11:10.640 So everything, it took me about a year and a half,
00:11:13.300 pretty much two years,
00:11:14.520 to just get everything done the way they wanted it done.
00:11:18.720 So finally I got it done.
00:11:20.520 And then I got on the donor list, thankfully.
00:11:23.380 Finally on it.
00:11:24.840 So then that was on the status one.
00:11:27.660 there's two statuses to a donor list status one status two status one means you just made it to
00:11:34.240 the donor list and you're honest status two is where it's very urgent we need the lungs now
00:11:40.740 and they upped me last september september 2021 to status two so then they kept telling me
00:11:50.580 i needed to get the jab the injection and i just something something tells me not to get it
00:12:00.620 right from the get-go i don't know what it was i don't it's a gut feeling what but um i i didn't
00:12:07.020 get it i told them i didn't want it i told them i probably have natural immunity because i was sick
00:12:12.020 before um they said they don't test for natural immunity anymore so they didn't do that um so
00:12:20.220 they said if you don't take it you go off the donor list so wait a minute how can they say that
00:12:26.660 they don't test anymore when people are still taking these tests home with them i have no idea
00:12:33.520 the doc the transplant doctors when i asked them i said can you test me for natural immunity he said
00:12:41.200 we don't do that anymore now and i said but i mean they do it they do it at the labs all we got to do
00:12:48.040 was get the lab to do the blood work and he said because it costs money to get these tests done i
00:12:53.640 said well i'll pay for it it's exactly what i said i said i'll pay for it but i'd like to get the
00:12:58.420 test for natural immunity and he said we don't do it but i'll look into it for you and they never
00:13:03.660 ever get back to you so so they would rather sacrifice your life than try to get a test done
00:13:13.260 or do the surgery if you don't take this ridiculous experimental gene therapy.
00:13:21.260 That's astounding to me.
00:13:22.460 What kind of attitude did these doctors have while they were telling you this information?
00:13:28.360 They're all very nice, very kind.
00:13:30.740 They always were.
00:13:31.660 I can't say anything wrong about them because...
00:13:36.460 I can. Allow me to.
00:13:40.120 I mean, where's the humanity here?
00:13:42.100 I think ethically and morally, they are bound to try to save your life with this transplant surgery you need, because your prognosis is if you don't get it, you'll die.
00:13:52.940 Am I correct?
00:13:53.820 That's correct.
00:13:54.580 That's correct.
00:13:55.400 But, I mean, they were nice at the time when they were telling me and stuff, and they were very courteous and very, I don't know, they were very caring at the time.
00:14:05.060 So when I asked him about the vaccine, I said, how safe is this vaccine you want me to get?
00:14:13.620 And he looked at me, and he never even blinked.
00:14:16.020 And my son was sitting with me, and he said, 100% safe.
00:14:19.700 I said, 100% safe, and it's an experimental one?
00:14:22.800 He said, it's 100% safe.
00:14:24.560 He said, okay.
00:14:25.420 I said, I'll think about it then.
00:14:27.040 So then I went home and thought about it and this and that.
00:14:30.440 And a couple of times they kept asking me.
00:14:32.120 I still wouldn't get it.
00:14:33.280 So they said, well, if you don't take it, we have to take it off the list, put you at status zero, which means you're no longer on the list.
00:14:41.180 So then that's what made me decide, what am I going to do now?
00:14:45.960 The only thing I can do is try to fight.
00:14:48.520 I mean, it's either that or let myself, I'm not going to sit in the house and just let myself die.
00:14:53.760 So what are you going to do?
00:14:54.840 You got to fight.
00:14:55.940 So I said, well, let's see if I can take it to court.
00:14:59.000 So we took it to court, and that was in August of 2021, began that journey.
00:15:06.940 And then June 12th of 2022, that just went by, the judge came back with the ruling that he will not grant me what I asked for, which was to ask the doctors to give me the transplant without the vaccine.
00:15:24.660 but i read the ruling the other night on the show and sadly the judge is correct in his
00:15:35.420 assertion that the charter is not bound to direct doctors to provide medical treatment
00:15:41.300 um but this is not a charter case in my opinion it's not this this is a this is a case of ethical
00:15:50.940 responsibility but doctors are not bound legally to do a surgery surgery they feel is unsafe now
00:15:59.420 were you ever given a reason aside from the fact that you didn't get this shot were you ever given
00:16:05.140 a reason as to what could happen they they never said well you could harm people or that you would
00:16:11.760 be a risk to the surgical team or or anything like that it was just basically that you decided
00:16:17.060 not to get this experimental gene therapy and and that was it no they said if i decided not to get
00:16:23.260 the experimental um vaccine uh that they would have to take me off the donor list they said we
00:16:29.080 will we are obligated to help you if you came to the hospital in other words if something was wrong
00:16:35.140 with me they they're obligated to look after me of course uh by law but um other than that they're
00:16:41.780 not going to treat me for my transplant no they're not going to no longer look for a trance i like
00:16:46.420 the organ that i need so what was your reaction when the judge made this ruling
00:16:51.580 you must have been devastated yeah did a lot of crying um i was angry um i was not in any way
00:17:02.740 you know say well we tried or not and i was i was very angry because there's nothing else
00:17:09.580 for me after that right unless you keep going with it so it's like i'm there how dare you
00:17:16.560 like would the ruling be different i always think if it was your wife or your mother or your daughter
00:17:23.300 or your son or whoever like are you going to condemn somebody are you going to condemn too
00:17:29.460 if they were in the same situation but it's like here we are fighting for our life when the answer
00:17:36.040 was there and they took it away because i did not comply to one one vaccine because of it's
00:17:45.460 experimental and there was no data and but there's a lot of data now yeah a lot of data and it's it's
00:17:52.180 not the data that i like to hear that's for sure like why else would they want to hide it for 75
00:17:57.020 years they asked the high courts in the states to you know to keep it sealed for 75 years yeah
00:18:04.960 all of us will be gone by then so what's the purpose of that because all of us will be gone
00:18:09.480 by then that's the purpose of that exactly so like there's so much information out there
00:18:15.180 of of this vaccine why is nobody doing anything like why is canada the only one that's not doing
00:18:25.000 anything like there's countries banning this and banning that and getting rid of masks and
00:18:30.260 and you know at the airport you can fly you can go anywhere you want what's wrong with canada
00:18:35.980 what is going on let me ask you a question and this is one i'm sure you've been asked before but
00:18:42.220 i think people need to hear the answer to this without this surgery it is absolutely
00:18:49.920 certain that you are going to die right i am going to die i have no other way to go
00:18:58.800 So this disease that I have, this pulmonary fibrosis, what I have, it hardens my organ.
00:19:09.700 It's like a sponge, and you suck all the water out of the sponge.
00:19:13.200 That's what's happening with my oxygen.
00:19:16.480 So it's like a sponge.
00:19:17.900 It's all drying up.
00:19:19.060 My lungs are all drying up, and as time goes by, it's hardening and hardening.
00:19:23.320 There's no oxygen to get through the cells in my lungs.
00:19:27.120 So here's the question I have for you.
00:19:29.340 It's usually two to five years.
00:19:31.080 I'm already on year four.
00:19:34.200 And I used to be able to do my dishes on my housework and do whatever.
00:19:39.960 Now I'm lucky if I can walk from the table to the sink
00:19:44.520 and get a pan of dishes done when it would happen to hook up the second hole.
00:19:50.300 Okay, here's the question.
00:19:52.160 This jab could hurt you.
00:19:55.120 oh yes but but without it you will die did you ever consider just getting it and going along
00:20:02.860 with the program to save your life yeah i did yes i did a bunch of different times and i used to
00:20:08.380 think maybe i'm wrong maybe i'm reading too much into it maybe i did too much research maybe i
00:20:14.380 you know maybe i've seen something that wasn't there that i was hoping was there you know what
00:20:18.460 me but um if i don't get this jab i'm going to die and yes i did think of it take it take my
00:20:28.600 chances 50 50 chance it's not going to harm me but it's a 50 chance percent chance it's gonna
00:20:35.220 because because of the adversary effects and a lot of harm that it's done around the globe
00:20:42.980 do i want to take that chance when the vaccine's going to travel to my lungs
00:20:48.600 it'll probably fill my lungs full of water it seems to be more like you're standing up for
00:20:53.040 your rights and everybody else's rights by making this decision which i think is absolutely
00:20:57.540 100 commendable do you have any other options now are you going to continue fighting in court
00:21:04.000 or is there something that you can do in a different country maybe yeah oh yes definitely
00:21:09.060 I'll say this. It's not my fight. It's our fight. And it's the people that are denied the same
00:21:17.380 thing that I'm being denied because we made a choice and that was not to get an experimental
00:21:23.460 vaccine. They made the same choice. I'm fighting for them. It's not just for me. We need to win
00:21:30.400 this. There's no reason why we need to die. Not when the capabilities and the technology and
00:21:39.400 everything is out there. There's no reason for me to die. And there's no reason for a young person
00:21:44.820 to die. There's no reason for anybody to die because of denying medical care. I'm 57 years old
00:21:51.760 and they're just saying, okay, you're going to die now because you didn't listen to us.
00:21:56.140 you didn't do as we told you to do is that why you let us die because we didn't do as we were
00:22:03.280 told is it control is that what it's all about well it seems like you know these doctors are
00:22:10.260 are just following the rules they're just doing their jobs and how many times have we heard that
00:22:14.940 in the last couple of years a lot have you uh have you had a lot of support from your family
00:22:21.460 and friends have they been there for you um oh yes definitely my family and that definitely
00:22:26.780 but i don't know hardly anybody here um i'm in alberta been here since 2011 well because what
00:22:34.440 i worked at i didn't see we didn't see the general public whatever so kind of just come home and did
00:22:41.420 my work and you know and just went about their life and i didn't really get to know anybody so
00:22:45.940 I really don't know anybody in Alberta.
00:22:50.280 But as far as, can I get this done anywhere else?
00:22:54.340 Sure you can.
00:22:55.420 You can get it done in Mexico.
00:22:56.560 You can get it done in the States.
00:22:59.260 Yeah, you can get it, but it costs an awful lot of money, an awful lot of money.
00:23:03.020 Have we started a GoFundMe yet?
00:23:04.600 Is there anything that we can do to help?
00:23:06.760 There's Jane, the lady you were talking about earlier.
00:23:11.300 Jane Sharp, okay, yeah.
00:23:12.660 She started a GoFundMe, and it's up to, I think, $1,795 or something.
00:23:20.800 So, yeah, so we do have that.
00:23:26.000 But other than that, no, there's not really anything going on around for raising funds or whatever.
00:23:33.500 Okay, now listen, here's what we're going to do on this show here.
00:23:37.880 Jane, we've sent her the link for the show, and she probably hasn't gotten it yet because it was kind of a last-minute deal that you asked me to do.
00:23:45.960 So here's what I'm going to do.
00:23:46.880 I'm going to try and get Jane on the show next week to talk about that GoFundMe that she started for you,
00:23:53.200 and maybe we can get that going around, too.
00:23:55.660 And if we can get enough money, I'm not sure how much would be necessary to get you down to the United States or Mexico and get this surgery done,
00:24:03.740 but we can at least get the ball rolling on that.
00:24:05.800 If you get $1,700, maybe we can get that up over $10,000.
00:24:11.060 And I know all of the people on this show would definitely share the information on their social media pages.
00:24:18.460 That would be amazing.
00:24:19.780 You are standing up for all of us with your life.
00:24:25.780 Not one person anymore.
00:24:27.840 It's about Canadians, the citizens, about everybody.
00:24:31.480 Everybody has the same right as the next one.
00:24:33.960 like my rights are no different or my
00:24:36.280 rights are no less than my next door neighbor
00:24:38.360 like they have just as much right
00:24:40.440 as I do for everything
00:24:42.660 in Canada like medical care
00:24:44.060 whatever to fly to
00:24:46.160 go where they want to live their life the way they
00:24:48.400 want without government interference inside
00:24:50.460 the home like it's no place
00:24:52.340 for a government inside of our homes
00:24:53.820 we've made it this far in life
00:24:56.240 I've had surgery
00:24:58.260 before and I've never ever ever
00:25:00.460 had to have and it was
00:25:02.240 major surgery it was for cancer and i've never had any issues no we just went i went to the
00:25:08.340 hospital they've done the surgery and i got better i recuperated took me a while but i got back on my
00:25:13.920 feet no problem with this one it's only because of the experimental vaccine everything every other
00:25:21.220 organ in my body is healthy they've already done all the testing on it my heart is very strong
00:25:27.320 the only problem i had was my ipf okay well listen we're going to stay in touch all right
00:25:34.420 um and as far as your jitters go uh you you did a very very good job of telling us your story
00:25:42.120 tonight and i want to thank you for coming on and i'm we're definitely going to speak to you again
00:25:47.360 very soon and we're definitely going to get jane on the show so you can tell us all about the go
00:25:51.280 fund me uh thank you for coming on tonight thank you and thank you for giving me your time okay
00:25:57.540 We hopefully will win this.
00:25:59.680 Oh, well, you know what?
00:26:00.620 We're going to win it.
00:26:01.520 I think we're going to have to go through some darker times yet,
00:26:04.200 but we are ultimately going to win.
00:26:05.660 Thank you for coming on tonight.
00:26:07.240 You're very welcome.
00:26:08.260 Okay.
00:26:09.660 Sheila Annette Lewis, I'm sorry about the bad connection that we had,
00:26:14.420 and I hope you guys could hear her okay.
00:26:21.460 I wonder.
00:26:24.280 She's 57 years old.
00:26:26.640 I'm 57 years old.
00:26:28.720 I wonder if I needed life-saving transplant surgery,
00:26:32.400 would I knuckle under and get that experimental demon juice?
00:26:40.220 That's what Jesse from The Missing Link calls it.
00:26:42.740 I was on his show yesterday.
00:26:44.280 You can find him here on Facebook, The Missing Link.
00:26:47.140 It's a great show.
00:26:48.400 He's interviewed a lot of really cool people,
00:26:50.280 and I was lucky enough to be on his show yesterday,
00:26:52.880 so check it out.
00:26:53.900 The Missing Link here on Facebook.
00:26:55.420 all the other social media platforms as well.
00:27:02.460 Would you?
00:27:04.840 Would you get the jab
00:27:07.340 if it meant you could get a transplant
00:27:09.500 that would save your life?
00:27:15.300 And you will not be judged
00:27:17.720 one way or the other for your answer here.
00:27:21.460 I mean, a lot of us complain
00:27:23.000 we can't cross the borders.
00:27:25.420 when the vaccine mandates were in effect we can't go to a hockey game oh no we can't go sit in a
00:27:30.700 restaurant and yeah that's bad enough in a free society like canada is supposed to be that they
00:27:35.820 were segregating people like that based upon private medical information that nobody is
00:27:39.980 supposed to know not even in an emergency that's in my opinion and the canadian bill of rights
00:27:46.620 would say that as well not so much the charter because of section one and the notwithstanding
00:27:50.620 clause. Having thought about this for the past minute or so, I'm going to say that I would do
00:27:58.160 what Sheila has done and say, no, I'm not. I'm a very stubborn guy. But I don't know that I could
00:28:09.580 live my life after that with my head held high. I don't know that I could sleep at night. I don't
00:28:18.280 know i could look in the mirror after doing after doing that it's not the the experimental formula
00:28:26.720 it's the fact that i was coerced into taking it that gets me and that i knuckled under i don't know
00:28:48.280 yeah rachel that by the way i'm sorry about your dog no that's not rachel i'm sorry that's
00:28:55.760 that's somebody else
00:28:56.760 yeah you know what that's the other thing too
00:29:03.660 sheila's already compromised she's had cancer before how many recurrences of cancer have we
00:29:10.840 heard about in the last year ever since all this started happening lots and that cancer
00:29:17.260 that has come back so strongly in many people was gone they were treated they were radiated they
00:29:23.520 were chemoed and they were clear for upwards of two three four years and now look it's back
00:29:31.400 and i've heard a lot of instances so that's anecdotal anecdotal but i've heard a lot of
00:29:36.460 instances from people who have said that not about themselves but from friends and family
00:29:41.060 that they know a lot of people are saying i'd want to an organ or blood from an unvaccinated
00:29:55.460 person there's a there's a story about a little girl it's not a little girl
00:30:03.540 story about somebody who wanted unvaccinated blood for a transfusion and she was not allowed that
00:30:15.780 i don't know if they're separating vaccinated and non-vaccinated blood
00:30:20.540 i've heard they are but i can't verify
00:30:23.940 and of course you know what you know guys it's you know a lot of people ask me hey shadow why
00:30:30.900 don't you get somebody from the other side on the show and i say absolutely i have tried i'd love to
00:30:35.260 have somebody from the other side on the show they never ever say yes they never ever say yes to me
00:30:41.820 they never they never even respond to me in most cases i've tried to get media personalities who
00:30:46.980 are still on the show on on the air to come on talk about this they never want to
00:30:51.820 so it's not for lack of trying okay here's some good news from truenorth tnc.news one million
00:31:00.640 dollars in covid fines tossed out in major legal victory the democracy fund has announced that its
00:31:06.860 lawyers have successfully defeated a cumulative one million dollars in covid related fines faced
00:31:12.900 by 14 different clients in a news release yesterday the law advocacy organization revealed
00:31:17.920 that in the past two weeks 56 000 in fines faced by british colombians have been defeated and a
00:31:23.780 whopping $950,000 in Ontario have also been thrown out. The Ontario fines were for three tickets
00:31:31.620 citing the Quarantine Act and the Reopening Ontario Act sent to business owners. So
00:31:36.060 let's see here. Let's do the math. The Ontario fines for $950,000, three tickets?
00:31:42.380 That's over $300,000 each. That's steep. That is outrageous. Lawyer Adam Blake Gallipo said
00:31:50.620 He hopes to continue to vigorously defend clients who have had their rights breached by government lockdowns and mandates.
00:31:56.640 The legal team at TDF, the Democracy Fund, represents clients across the country who have been fined in connection to legislation related to COVID-19.
00:32:04.520 Many clients are unable to pay fines or would be forced to close their businesses if convicted, the TDF explained.
00:32:12.080 Various challenges to COVID measures are ongoing.
00:32:14.380 Some have found success in July. The Alberta Court of Appeals overturned fines for jailed Pastor Arthur Pavlosky, who will be on the show Tuesday night.
00:32:23.620 A ruling by Justice Barbara Lee Veldhouse, Justice Michelle Crichton and Justice Joanne Strykov ordered Alberta Health Services to reimburse Pavlosky any fines or penalties he paid for disobeying public health orders, which totaled fifteen thousand seven hundred thirty three dollars and fifty cents.
00:32:41.440 so there is some good news don't forget to like and share you guys don't shadow banning on this
00:32:47.180 show is absolutely crazy we have an opinion piece here from police on guard.ca police on guard for
00:32:54.060 thee and this is an interesting one uh it has to do with transport canada and the documents recently
00:33:01.120 released clearly revealing the intention behind these travel restrictions for unvaccinated
00:33:07.440 Canadians as purely one of pressure to increase vaccine uptake. We have heard that from politicians
00:33:15.280 in media. They say the quiet part out loud all the time. This is not to combat any valid medical
00:33:22.760 risks associated with the travel sector. In a brief prepared statement, listen to this,
00:33:27.840 November 2020, titled Risk of COVID-19 Transmission Abort Aircraft, the department confirms the risk
00:33:34.380 of spread of covid and this is back in november of 2020 the risk of spread of covid amongst
00:33:40.200 passengers while traveling aboard aircraft appears to be low citing an october 2020 press release
00:33:46.000 from the international air transport association which stated a one in 27 million rate of flight
00:33:54.900 related transmission i say again one in 27 million rate of transmission despite this a memo signed by
00:34:06.220 transport minister omar algabra later in october stated the desired indirect benefit of the
00:34:12.500 mandates as one that should act as a catalyst to increase canada's overall vaccination rate
00:34:18.320 while discussing the challenge posed by the remaining eligible canadians who were still
00:34:23.720 not fully vaccinated this coming weeks after they were already aware of the above noted risks
00:34:29.440 of 1 to 27 million with that rate of infection. These vaccine mandates, both for travel and
00:34:36.700 employment, along with vaccine passports, are seen as a success in driving vaccine uptake by
00:34:44.260 public health officials, regardless of their previous admissions, that vaccinating does not
00:34:48.220 stop transmission. As stated by the chief public health officer, Teresa Tam, in February, when
00:34:54.080 speaking of the increase in vaccination uptake post-mandate, there's now obvious evidence that
00:35:00.020 they work. What? Several lawsuits have emerged that argue against these mandates. The attorney
00:35:07.040 general is attempting to have these thrown out, citing the suspension of mandates June 20th,
00:35:11.260 while ignoring the comments by the liberal government stating that they may be reinstated
00:35:15.660 at any time at their discretion.
00:35:18.120 That said, the issue is clearly not resolved
00:35:20.600 until the legality of these mandates
00:35:22.700 are addressed in their entirety once and for all.
00:35:26.640 How many Canadians have felt coerced to get vaccinated
00:35:29.420 because of visiting their loved ones,
00:35:31.200 keeping their hard-earned jobs,
00:35:32.900 supporting their families,
00:35:33.980 or simply maintaining the freedom to travel
00:35:36.260 that they had enjoyed before,
00:35:37.540 or maybe getting a transplant to save your life?
00:35:45.660 When they're injured or suffer side effects, they're ignored and provided with no recourse
00:35:49.940 or compensation. All right. Speaking of Omar Al-Ghabra, let me make this bigger if I can
00:35:55.000 hear you guys, this video about the play here. There's a committee going on right now into
00:36:01.220 the ArriveCant app, and this is Conservative MP Michael Barrett.
00:36:07.400 Minister, if there was no scientific basis for mandate.
00:36:11.300 This is Conservative MP Michael Barrett questioning Transport Minister Omar Al-Ghabra today. Now, he's not there in person, Al-Ghabra. He is on a Zoom call. And listen to his response. Listen to his response to this question. It's absolutely childish, his response.
00:36:29.600 But these liberal MPs and cabinet ministers, when in committee forced to answer questions like this, know that every MP on committee has only got a time limit of five to seven minutes.
00:36:39.600 So they delay, they stall with their answers all the time.
00:36:42.720 So listen to the response that Elgabri gives.
00:36:44.620 Minister, if there was no scientific basis for mandates, as has been indicated by officials,
00:36:52.120 why would your government institute a policy that infringed on Canadians' rights,
00:36:58.040 that didn't have scientific basis, and then call a snap election a couple days later?
00:37:04.700 You mean the non-scientific mandates that was implemented by municipal governments?
00:37:10.520 You mean the non-scientific-based mandates that were implemented by provincial governments?
00:37:15.100 You mean the non-scientific-based mandates that was implemented by the private sector without required from government?
00:37:21.640 You mean the non-scientific-based mandates that was implemented by universities?
00:37:25.940 You mean the non-scientific-based mandates that were...
00:37:28.220 Minister, I'm talking about the mandates implemented by the federal government at airports.
00:37:33.520 I'd like to quote one of your officials in court documents that were reported on by Rupa Sabra mania
00:37:39.520 and one of those officials is is on the on the call today actually and let me quote in an email
00:37:46.220 to the extent that updated data exists or that there is clear evidence of the safety benefit of
00:37:50.860 vaccination on the users or other stakeholders of the transportation system it would be helpful
00:37:54.820 to assist Transport Canada supporting its measures that's a quote from AADM McCrory now the the
00:38:01.380 mandates were set to be implemented but your department didn't even have the information
00:38:06.460 that that indicated it was necessary or based in science to just circle back to your question about
00:38:13.640 the science that's being followed by municipalities and provinces they have all eliminated their
00:38:17.900 mandates since yet you have not so if you're following the same science they are why have
00:38:23.400 they all lifted their mandates but you have not uh mr chair first of all let me start off by saying
00:38:30.180 vaccines have proven to have saved lives and continue to save lives no at a moment in time
00:38:36.320 where our public health system is under a lot of pressure.
00:38:39.680 I'm wondering if these people can be held in contempt
00:38:42.180 for lying in committee like this.
00:38:46.860 I wonder if they can be.
00:38:49.120 Let's continue.
00:38:50.420 Vaccines continue to be an incredible tool in saving lives
00:38:54.140 and protecting the health and safety of Canadians
00:38:56.880 and our health care system.
00:38:59.260 The federal government has suspended most of our mandates.
00:39:01.960 The only mandate that we have is at our borders.
00:39:04.640 like many countries around the world and it is done to again to ensure that we minimize the
00:39:10.480 importation of the virus and that protect the health and safety of Canadians and let me point
00:39:15.260 my honorable colleague on top of the all studies that have been done over the last two years
00:39:19.300 just the last two months two different studies one was done by the Canadian Medical Association
00:39:23.800 one was done by UBC the University of British Columbia that demonstrated that these public
00:39:29.380 health measures, including mandates, protect the health and safety, have saved upwards of 60,000
00:39:37.040 lives, have prevented the importation of the virus tenfold at our borders. So there's ample evidence
00:39:45.340 that I'm happy to table with committee that provides justification for these vaccines.
00:39:51.640 Okay, so have you seen that evidence? I haven't seen that evidence.
00:39:55.860 i would gladly put that on if if the evidence were available ubc and the canadian medical
00:40:02.600 association have you seen that evidence at all i have not seen it what i what evidence i have seen
00:40:07.140 i just told you guys about one in 27 million transmission rate on air travel so i guess we
00:40:14.000 have some opposing facts here it's awesome that that judge in ontario removed judicial notice
00:40:24.540 yesterday on government covid measures and judicial notice in case you missed the show
00:40:32.140 last night is basically a judge taking for granted that the government mandates were in
00:40:39.060 fact based in fact absolutely just like the sky is blue and the grass is green
00:40:43.280 and boys are boys and girls are girls so they removed that judicial notice regarding all of
00:40:51.300 the government measures related to COVID-19. Everything yesterday at the Supreme Court of
00:40:56.220 Ontario. That means it's a whole new ball game when it comes to fighting this scourge of tyranny.
00:41:03.940 This from left-wing corporate global. And of course, they're going to be happy to report that
00:41:08.760 Health Canada's approved first COVID-19 booster shot for kids 5 to 11. You know, something else
00:41:18.000 i was thinking about today you guys when it comes to these experimental gene therapies and how
00:41:23.080 quickly they were approved by the fda down in the states and health canada up here on what basis did
00:41:29.120 they have to approve these things considering all of the documents that have been released from
00:41:34.120 pfizer and documents released from moderna which i will tell you about in about 10 minutes or less
00:41:39.960 on the show tonight i don't see how these things could be approved for years
00:41:45.460 emergency use sure but then you can't make an emergency use vaccine
00:41:52.000 mandatory so they have to be fully approved on what basis that's what we should be asking
00:41:58.600 health canada officials if you want to protest someplace protest health canada protest the
00:42:04.960 colleges of physicians and surgeons that's that's been a great idea that came out of bc our friends
00:42:10.280 james and marcella have been spearheading that protest the media protesting justin trudeau is
00:42:17.200 a waste of time he's never going to come out and face us never the first doctors
00:42:25.960 individual doctors rainbow stage here in manitoba is doing two shows i forget i think it's the
00:42:32.980 wizard of oz they're doing this is the only open air theater in western canada it's been open for
00:42:39.680 a hundred years or so used to really love it but they're doing two fully vaccinated shows out of
00:42:45.960 19 this month so one of our viewers actually wrote emails to complain got some snarky answers back
00:42:55.520 from a she her who happens to be the director of rainbow stage i don't know how they can get
00:43:05.240 away with this guys if there is any organization or business that you've been into that's demanding
00:43:10.980 to see a vaccine passport i would suggest threatening them with a human rights complaint
00:43:16.400 and if they continue on then go and complain there is no emergency order therefore they cannot they
00:43:23.820 cannot discriminate like that they can't do it well they can but at a risk of being slapped with
00:43:30.640 a huge fine from the human rights commission and the human rights commission would have to follow
00:43:35.680 up on that through legal pressure or public pressure anyway the first covet 19 booster
00:43:44.620 vaccine for children has been approved in canada as kids across the country get ready to start
00:43:49.780 another school year health canada on friday said it had authorized pfizer's covet 19 shot for
00:43:55.400 children aged 5 to 11 at least six months after completing their second dose.
00:44:01.920 I don't think there's any reason to read further. And you know, here's the thing too, guys. They
00:44:08.740 can make all of these things available to all of us. It doesn't matter. What matters is we don't
00:44:15.080 fall for it. We've forced them to throw this crap out.
00:44:22.080 and i know it's a huge waste of tax dollars but it was to begin with anyway
00:44:28.220 over 14 000 of pay uh sorry pages 14 000 not thousands uh 14 000 pages of evidence filed
00:44:38.660 in lawsuit against federal travel vaccine ban is from the justice center for constitutional
00:44:43.840 freedoms that is brian peckford's case so we have a schedule of the way this case is going to go i
00:44:49.140 It was because we had Brian Peckford on when that was February, February.
00:44:53.340 It was so they filed the papers today.
00:44:56.220 The Justice Center did and the schedule of the travel ban lawsuit starts September 21st, one day in person mootness hearing.
00:45:06.240 So they're going to decide if it's moot or not.
00:45:09.860 Then on September 30th service and filing of respondents record, then October 31st to November the 4th, they're going to have the hearing.
00:45:19.140 So first they decide whether or not it's moot.
00:45:21.640 Now, remember, the government has only suspended these mandates.
00:45:24.780 They haven't removed them completely.
00:45:26.100 They're only suspended.
00:45:27.420 And even still, they could remove them and then reinstate them just like that through an order in council.
00:45:34.020 They could do that anytime they want to now.
00:45:37.500 You see, all of the stuff they've been doing to us, guys, that's just been an experiment to see if people would fall for it.
00:45:42.760 Now they know that people will fall for it.
00:45:45.400 Maybe not so much, not so many people the next time around.
00:45:49.140 but they know what they can get away with now.
00:45:51.460 They have pushed the envelope so far
00:45:53.720 and people are going,
00:45:55.020 I just want to go home and watch a football game
00:45:57.580 and have a couple of beers, eh?
00:46:00.980 Yeah, that's Canada for you.
00:46:03.320 I told you this story last night.
00:46:04.840 It's a good story.
00:46:06.180 Judge rules kids can't be forced to take these demon jabs.
00:46:12.900 I like that.
00:46:15.720 So this is where from...
00:46:19.140 lakesuperiornews.com via Rebel News. In his ruling, Justice Christopher Corkery wrote that
00:46:27.880 the science related to COVID-19 is developing. A judge has ruled a 12-year-old girl who is
00:46:33.260 uninterested in taking one of these demon jabs cannot be compelled to take a jab following a
00:46:40.400 decision in an Ontario family court. Now, this is huge news, guys. I do not want my COVID-19
00:46:47.940 vaccine. The young girl described as an A student said in an email to the court detailing her
00:46:53.980 decision. The girl explained how people who have received both shots and the booster are still
00:46:59.520 getting COVID and that she heard from friends that their doctors are advising that children not get
00:47:04.980 vaccinated. More information surrounding risks, benefits of COVID vaccines can be found when we
00:47:11.000 click this link here, but then again, we're not going to do that right now. The Ontario provincial
00:47:16.200 government also offers additional information which can be found here and again we're not going
00:47:20.240 to do that of course any government information well you know what that's going to be the court
00:47:25.900 heard how the girl's mother is not against the vaccine but is not prepared to force her daughter
00:47:32.200 to be vaccinated the girl's father filed a motion attempting to have the girl vaccinated ahead of
00:47:37.220 the upcoming school year suggesting the vaccine is keeping everyone in our community safe
00:47:41.040 saying without any sort of factual basis at all so basically what this is is this girl's own father
00:47:48.060 is taking her to court to compel her to take this vaccine can you even believe that
00:47:53.780 i would love to have a conversation with that man no i wouldn't i know what i'd like to do to him
00:48:04.480 though i do not want the vaccine i hope my wishes will be respected the girl said saying that this
00:48:14.320 was her final decision in his ruling siding with the mother and daughter justice christopher
00:48:20.740 corkery wrote that the science related to blah blah blah is developing adding the facts are
00:48:25.900 changing no they're not they're not i'm glad he's recognizing things are changing but the facts are
00:48:33.740 not changing the facts have always been the same facts they just haven't bothered to look because
00:48:38.780 of judicial notice which is a powerful tool that should never be used when something is up in the
00:48:46.340 air like this is it's amazing they ever used that tool the judge that decided to use judicial notice
00:48:52.280 for government guidance on any covet 19 measures should be slapped in the face
00:48:59.640 i know that's disrespectful i'm talking about a judge but i don't care man
00:49:05.920 what are the health implications if children receive the current vaccine but skip some or
00:49:15.860 all of the boosters the judge wondered what future covet variant will boosters guard against
00:49:20.480 these questions corkery said are all questions requiring answers which are currently unavailable
00:49:26.860 It's improper for the court to predetermine future medical treatments at unknown times in unknown circumstances.
00:49:33.940 Well, that should have been the answer the whole time, don't you think?
00:49:41.000 Continuing in his explanation, the Ontario Superior Court justice raised more questions.
00:49:45.900 Does safe mean there are no side effects?
00:49:48.180 Is the vaccine effective in protecting her from contracting COVID, from spreading it, from dying from it, from severity or symptoms?
00:49:55.320 No.
00:49:57.500 I can answer that for you.
00:50:01.600 Anyway, guys, that is very good news coming out of Ontario.
00:50:05.120 And what happens in Ontario always seems to spread through the rest of the country.
00:50:09.340 So definitely judges in other provinces will have to take notice of that.
00:50:13.920 Look at this.
00:50:15.060 BC seems to be an outlier here.
00:50:17.500 They're forcing unvaccinated mothers to pay back up to $50,000 in maternity leave.
00:50:24.480 huh again tnc.news the bc government wants to leave unvaccinated mothers who are public servants
00:50:35.140 on the hook for any maternity leave they benefited from mothers who were denied an exemption to the
00:50:40.500 covid shot could be terminated from their jobs and pay back up to fifty thousand dollars in
00:50:46.000 maternity benefits the vaccination policy stipulates the bc public service employees
00:50:51.400 who do not receive two doses of vaccination
00:50:54.200 against this thing
00:50:56.220 or refuse to disclose their status
00:50:59.200 and do not have an approved exemption request
00:51:01.620 are to be placed on leave without pay
00:51:03.520 for a period of at least three months
00:51:04.960 after which they may be terminated,
00:51:07.300 the BC government writes on their website.
00:51:11.660 Mother speaking to the outlet,
00:51:14.640 my Prince George now say
00:51:17.020 they're being treated unfairly by the government.
00:51:19.460 Well, duh.
00:51:21.400 At this point, it would just be punitive if I lose my job.
00:51:24.560 One woman who wished to remain anonymous said,
00:51:26.960 it's like they want to make examples out of people.
00:51:28.980 It's absolutely cruel in a country like Canada.
00:51:32.780 I'm glad these people are finally waking up.
00:51:34.860 But guys, this story, and I know it's awful.
00:51:39.840 This story is an example of what I've been talking about,
00:51:43.500 what Mark Friesen has been talking about for the past few months and others.
00:51:46.780 people will not react until they're affected personally they will not stand up and speak out
00:51:53.800 until they're affected personally so now all of these mothers in bc these unvaccinated mothers
00:52:00.160 are being told they have to pay back up to fifty thousand dollars in maternity benefits
00:52:03.800 now they're speaking up right i wish it would happen before that i wish people would go no
00:52:10.680 that's not right you know here's something interesting behind my place here in st james
00:52:17.020 for you winnipeggers you'll know where that is there's a path that that goes along the sturgeon
00:52:23.460 creek and i was walking along that path today and i was walking behind three guys normal regular
00:52:29.760 dudes early 30s and i overheard what they were talking about so i slowed down my walk because
00:52:34.740 i'm generally a pretty fast walker right so i slowed myself down and just kind of listened to
00:52:38.720 them and they were talking about uh i heard one guy say well my body my choice right and one guy
00:52:45.900 says hey man you want to know what i was forced to get this damn thing i'm not going to do a third
00:52:49.500 shot and then the guy who said my body my choice ha ha ha said you know man i'm i'm only kidding
00:52:55.300 i got it but i was forced to by work and the third guy said yeah me too
00:53:01.400 so these three guys who were talking about this i caught them at the exact moment where
00:53:08.260 one guy was trying to put his friend down for talking about my body my choice but then he
00:53:13.420 smartened up real fast very interesting and after i heard that i just continued my walk and went yeah
00:53:21.520 yeah so opinions are changing out there and even these people who are going haha you say you saw
00:53:27.000 a ufo tinfoil hat even those people are changing they're changing their minds they're listening now
00:53:34.660 i think a lot of them are now willing to listen to some of the stuff we have to say not all but
00:53:39.900 some i guess depending on who it comes from and what we have to say to them so when you hit
00:53:46.040 somebody who is in that position where you sense that they might be open now to hearing more don't
00:53:51.960 hit them with the blood drinking stuff don't go deep on them don't go to chapter 37 start with
00:53:58.420 chapter one, ease them into it. And then they can dive down as many rabbit holes as they want to
00:54:05.740 on their own. Got more stuff here. I know it's Friday night. You guys, I don't want to keep you
00:54:12.520 too long. Here's a good one here from the Justice Center. Crown drops charges against seven Freedom
00:54:19.780 Convoy protesters. One of them is from Manitoba, a guy from Verdon, but they don't say his name.
00:54:27.100 So I'm going to have to do some digging and try and get that guy on the show.
00:54:30.780 I'm sure he's pretty happy to hear that news.
00:54:32.940 And the print is too small for me to read it right now to be completely honest with you.
00:54:37.120 So I won't.
00:54:38.040 But there's the headline.
00:54:38.880 Crown drops charges against seven Freedom Convoy protesters based upon the fact, because I read this earlier today, based upon the fact that they don't have enough evidence and no reasonable chance of conviction.
00:54:50.240 What evidence is missing?
00:54:51.620 The police notes, the arresting officers notes.
00:54:54.720 Apparently they went missing.
00:54:55.780 the crown didn't think to get that evidence
00:54:58.320 so no we have no reasonable chance of conviction we're just going to dismiss these charges
00:55:06.000 done okay this is what i was talking about a bit earlier newly obtained moderna documents show
00:55:14.140 mrna covet vaccines cause skeletal malformation what happened to the offspring of lab rats who
00:55:20.640 were jabbed oh rats that were injected with moderna's experimental mrna editing covet vaccines
00:55:27.180 developed rib malformations according to documents newly obtained internal documents from the
00:55:35.100 pharmaceutical giant by a freedom of information act request from judicial watch
00:55:40.440 the government watchdog obtained 700 pages document package a 700 page document package
00:55:50.000 from the pharmaceutical company, including excerpts of Moderna's formal biological licensing
00:55:54.880 application form, drug manufacturers are required to submit to the FDA for approval.
00:56:01.340 The documents have not yet been made public, but were analyzed by former pharma executive
00:56:05.720 Alexandra Latpova and reviewed by the Epoch Times. That was reported by, obviously, the Epoch Times.
00:56:12.580 The documents also contain test results of reproductive toxicology tests conducted on
00:56:18.380 rodents the test results confirm moderna's gene editing shots caused skeletal disfigurement in
00:56:24.640 the offspring of rats that were injected with doses of mrna 1273 or spike vax mrna which is
00:56:32.260 the technology they're using in these shots six of 149 baby rats had wavy ribs and five of those
00:56:41.980 also had rib nodules according to moderna's internal documents
00:56:45.260 mrna 1273 related variations in skeletal examination included statistically significant
00:56:53.980 increases in the number of f1 rats with one or more wavy ribs and one or more rib nodules
00:57:00.340 wavy ribs appeared in six fetuses and four litters with a fetal prevalence of 4.03 percent
00:57:06.980 and a litter prevalence of 18.2 percent rib nodules appeared in five of those six fetuses
00:57:13.680 isn't that enough to get this stuff pulled
00:57:19.720 wavy ribs skeletal malformations but go ahead approve this stuff for five-year-olds
00:57:36.260 wow wow wow oh by the way there's something else coming remember i've been talking about
00:57:41.940 how they're going to get us locked down again in the fall how they're going to try and scare people
00:57:46.540 again in the fall and i've been speculating that maybe it's going to be polio or a monkey pox and
00:57:51.520 by the way manitoba has had their first uh case of monkey pox confirmed as of today there was a
00:57:58.500 press conference and everything is it going to be a new strain of covet is it going to be something
00:58:05.780 else? Well, health officials sound the alarm over a fast-spreading E. coli outbreak in Michigan
00:58:12.180 and Ohio. Fast-spreading E. coli outbreak? Oh, no. State health officials and the CDC have issued
00:58:20.260 an urgent health warning due to a rapidly spreading E. coli outbreak. A rapid-spreading
00:58:24.820 E. coli outbreak is responsible for at least 29 cases of illness in the states of Michigan and
00:58:30.020 ohio according to npr 15 of the confirmed cases were reported in michigan well 14 were in ohio
00:58:36.680 although there have been no confirmed fatalities linked to the outbreak at least nine people have
00:58:41.400 been admitted to hospital the source of the outbreak is still unknown according to the
00:58:44.900 reports now they could probably try and make that into something nonetheless the fear porn continues
00:58:51.600 doesn't it okay guys i wanted to read this story from rupa supra mania at the national post and
00:58:59.580 she also has a podcast at tnc.news she's the one who broke the story about the government
00:59:04.300 not having any uh you know scientific basis to impose any travel uh restrictions or bans
00:59:12.580 at the border it was all for political reasons she's the one who exposed that
00:59:17.040 about a month ago so listen to what she says here in this editorial piece
00:59:22.420 on june 14th the government of prime minister justin trudeau suspended its controversial
00:59:30.420 vaccine mandates as they applied to federal workplaces and for travel the two sectors
00:59:35.440 where the federal government had the authority to issue regulations however ministers made it
00:59:40.680 clear that the mandates weren't dead but merely suspended and could be revived if circumstances
00:59:46.180 is warranted on august 2nd my story for barry weiss's common sense substack blog based on a
00:59:54.940 legal challenge to the vaccine mandate for travel before the federal court of canada
00:59:59.100 made abundantly clear that at least this particular mandate had a lot to do with politics
01:00:04.780 and much less to do with science and evidence the challenge was launched by two entrepreneurs
01:00:10.020 Carl Harrison and Sean Ricard. Under rigorous cross-examination by the applicant's attorney,
01:00:18.860 Sam Prisvellos, who's a very young guy apparently, it was revealed that the bureaucrat in charge of
01:00:24.480 COVID recovery, a unit within Transport Canada, that none of its members had any medical,
01:00:29.540 scientific, or epidemiological background. Apart from Jennifer Little, its director general,
01:00:34.700 and one other individual she named under cross-examination, we still don't know its
01:00:39.560 membership or its exact terms of reference. For a unit that Little herself in her affidavit
01:00:45.620 described as the focal point, quote unquote, of the government's travel mandate, we know precious
01:00:50.860 little about this group, which has a huge impact on the lives of millions of Canadians.
01:00:57.140 Understandably, many observers, including myself, Rupa, are increasingly skeptical of the Trudeau
01:01:03.000 government's vaccine mandates. While we've not had a comparable court case for the federal
01:01:08.500 workplace mandate, the documents made public in the travel mandate case cast serious doubt on
01:01:14.860 Trudeau's claim that his government followed science and the evidence. Rather, as I argued
01:01:19.740 in The Telegraph recently, the much more likely explanation is that vaccine mandates proved a
01:01:24.920 useful wedge issue in the lead up to last fall's election. Is there any other credible explanation
01:01:30.140 as to why the mandates were announced just two days before the election call and were implemented
01:01:35.700 only after the government scraped back in by a whisker? If it really were about the science,
01:01:42.280 wouldn't it have made more sense to implement the mandate immediately and fight the election
01:01:46.140 with the mandate as a fait accompli? Or did the nature of the virus mysteriously change shortly
01:01:52.920 after the Trudeau government got re-elected? I'm often asked about why I supported mandates last
01:02:00.080 year and i'm strongly opposed to them now the simple explanation is that as the facts change
01:02:06.160 again somebody maintaining the facts change they never did change they were always available
01:02:12.760 people just weren't looking but she says as the facts changed my thinking changed last fall
01:02:20.040 i was already wary given that trudeau had politicized the pandemic for electoral advantage
01:02:25.960 Then the advent of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, I believe, was a game changer.
01:02:31.900 Now, vaccinated people, depending whether they've had two or three shots and how long ago,
01:02:36.940 are often just as likely to transmit the virus as the unvaccinated, and this makes complete
01:02:41.780 nonsense of the mandates, whose explicit purpose is to reduce the transmission.
01:02:47.180 Similarly, it made nonsense of provincial mandates, which prevented unvaccinated individuals
01:02:52.240 from getting access to restaurants and other public spaces.
01:02:55.960 rupa i'm sorry to tell you this but that gene therapy it never worked to stop the spread it
01:03:03.960 never did never that was admitted
01:03:08.740 it's already it's already out there
01:03:13.660 as a matter of principle forcing people to get vaccinated against their will could only ever
01:03:21.200 be justified. That's too in extreme. What does she say here? That too in extreme, when there's
01:03:29.520 a serious negative externality involved, if one person not getting vaccinated significantly
01:03:34.820 increases the possibility of others getting the virus, one could make a public health argument
01:03:39.460 for vaccination on that basis, weighing that against the deprivation of individual liberty.
01:03:44.420 in retrospect i'm skeptical that this made much sense even before omicron since we now know that
01:03:51.760 a significant number of breakthrough infections were occurring well i'm glad she admitted to that
01:03:57.240 with omicron this argument is much less valid diminishing public health benefits do not justify
01:04:03.420 overriding an individual's choice on whether to get vaccinated or not that's the rationale
01:04:10.280 rational explanation, but if I think back to last spring and summer as the Delta wave ravaged the
01:04:17.160 country, where I was born India, like many others, I'd succumb to a narrative of fear. We were told
01:04:23.900 that unless we all get vaccinated immediately, the sky would fall in on us, and obviously mandates
01:04:29.480 added teeth to this fear. Choosing not to get vaccinated would mean you might be out of a job
01:04:34.520 or unable to travel. Fear does something to you, even to those of us who consider themselves to be
01:04:40.460 rational and not swayed by hysteria. In my case, my unvaccinated parents in India got Delta,
01:04:47.580 and this was a time when it was almost impossible to get a cylinder of oxygen or hospital bed
01:04:52.180 in the event you fell ill, even if you could afford to pay for it. This was a traumatic time
01:04:58.600 for me and for many others. Friends in India would message me asking if I could help arrange
01:05:03.360 an oxygen cylinder or hospital admission for them on their loved ones or their loved ones sitting
01:05:07.980 here in ottawa despite my best efforts frantically making phone calls i couldn't help them and some
01:05:13.640 of them were subsequently or some of them subsequently died fortunately my parents
01:05:18.200 survived and are now healthy once again rupa i have to remind you that this virus has always
01:05:27.220 had a survival rate of 99.8 percent average depending on how old you are of course
01:05:34.280 how i felt about things and then again you know when we talk about dying with covid versus tying
01:05:42.200 of covid that's a that's a different argument altogether how i felt about things also began
01:05:49.480 to change this past january when i appeared on tbo's the agenda as part of a panel debating
01:05:54.780 what to do about the unvaccinated. I argued then that mandates was an approach that was
01:06:01.340 marginalizing fellow Canadians who had chosen to be unvaccinated. Around that time, Quebec announced
01:06:06.580 it was taxing the unvaccinated, and I realized that their demonization was underway.
01:06:14.160 A few weeks later, the Freedom Convoy protests rolled into Ottawa. On my first day walking the
01:06:20.720 streets of Ottawa. I was amidst throngs of hundreds of thousands of protesters, all of them
01:06:26.020 unmasked and in close proximity, and these people were not fearful. I realized myself that I had
01:06:33.100 been living under a shadow of fear, which was no longer rational, given that I was triple vaccinated
01:06:38.680 and had recovered from Omicron, and possibly from even an earlier infection in 2020 when COVID
01:06:44.680 hadn't been officially identified in Canada. I asked myself, what then was there to be afraid of?
01:06:53.920 Ultimately, anyone's attitude towards vaccination, masking, or other behaviors is going to be based
01:07:00.260 on their personal assessment of what in medicine is called the risk-benefit trade-off. In other
01:07:06.720 words, is the risk worth the reward? But let's not forget that when we compare the risk and benefit,
01:07:12.240 the weights we attach to each of them are ultimately at least partly psychological and
01:07:16.580 not based purely on the science. A climate of fear is likely to make an otherwise rational person
01:07:22.220 exaggerate the dangers of not doing what the government tells you you ought to do and underplay
01:07:27.660 the autonomy that you have as an individual to make intelligent choices for yourself.
01:07:32.560 Naturally, the climate of fear benefits those who wish to restrict our individual liberties.
01:07:38.120 Oh, does it?
01:07:44.260 Knowing what we know now about the travel vaccine mandate.
01:07:51.180 Hang on, let me say this again.
01:07:52.700 Knowing what we know, sorry, knowing what we now do.
01:07:58.720 Okay, this is poorly written.
01:08:01.480 An editor should have gotten this.
01:08:03.040 Knowing what we now do about the travel vaccine mandate came into being.
01:08:07.660 the Trudeau government or any government for that matter can't simply blithely tell us that
01:08:12.580 they're following the science to justify future restrictions on our civil liberties the threshold
01:08:17.420 must be much higher than government than that and governments must be held to account if they fail
01:08:24.900 to provide a convincing explanation as to why they need to curtail our freedom okay that part I agree
01:08:31.780 with so you know it's it's funny because all of us who are on the side of freedom now you know
01:08:38.700 by and large we agree with each other i'm going to say 70 75 and then there's about 25 of things
01:08:44.840 that we might not agree on but at least we agree to disagree right
01:08:50.820 yes she's absolutely correct in what she said there at the end and this is something i've
01:09:00.000 pondered a lot in the last couple of years how is it that the government is allowed to do a thing
01:09:07.740 before having to prove they need to do a thing i understand it's an emergency and you need to
01:09:14.240 lock down but then you would hear back in the early days of this brian pallister scott moe
01:09:22.660 or jason kenny or or doug ford come on tv and say and in three days we'll be implementing
01:09:29.240 mask mandates or in three days we'll be implementing lockdowns or two persons per household or
01:09:37.940 whatever it was in three days if this is such an emergency then do it now right in three days
01:09:46.360 what are you talking about
01:09:48.280 how is that an emergency if you're waiting three days to do it and what's going to happen in those
01:09:56.340 three days where you can't go to the store and stock up on on essential items for your family
01:10:02.120 it's going to be jam filled with people and it's going to be worse than it ever ever ever was
01:10:09.480 jam filled with people and standing shoulder to shoulder with people when you're supposed
01:10:13.920 to be six feet apart which is ridiculous but do you see the logic that i'm i'm throwing out here
01:10:20.260 so they say it's an emergency we have to get this done so okay fine that's fine if we're
01:10:27.680 going to follow a logic here let's say we've got a virus out there that's killing 30 percent of the
01:10:32.840 people not uh 0.2 percent or 0.1 percent let's just say we've got one of those right of course
01:10:44.200 then you have to implement if people are dying in the streets i never saw anybody die in the
01:10:48.860 streets by the way i never saw i never i don't know anybody who died of covet i don't still
01:10:54.380 um you should still have to prove what you're doing is valid and an investigation should have
01:11:04.560 been launched at the beginning of all this to see if it was worthwhile to do it and what the harms
01:11:12.480 were in doing it you know but that's never been done alberta is now going to launch an internal
01:11:22.520 investigation the government is going to investigate itself it's not going to be a
01:11:26.060 public inquiry or they're not going to use lawyers either it's easier if we do it ourselves don't
01:11:30.480 worry about it jason kenney said it's not going to cost us as much money no no no you know in a
01:11:35.740 case like this and normally i would say yeah yeah you know if it's for some some ridiculous thing
01:11:39.680 like uh an mp ordering a 16 glass of orange juice but for something like this oh yes we need an
01:11:49.440 investigation we need a hardcore investigation hardcore everything needs to be looked into
01:11:55.260 everything needs to be exposed everything from an independent source not the government investigating
01:12:00.660 itself but the government should not be allowed to do these things to us for an extended period
01:12:06.760 of time as they have without proving their case and i'm talking about 30 days not two years not
01:12:15.580 two and a half years not 60 days 30 days you got 30 days man if you can't tell us why you're doing
01:12:21.800 this within 30 days if you cannot justify this within 30 days then everything stops and we go
01:12:27.680 back to normal life and that's what i thought what the situation would be i didn't think any
01:12:34.260 politician guys honestly would have the balls to do what they have done and they did it
01:12:38.880 and now they know they can that's the scary part so i'm happy that we're fighting back with all of
01:12:46.680 these court cases i'm happy we're fighting back with the rallies and the protests i'm happy we're
01:12:51.540 fighting back the biggest thing we can do right now is get the word out to other people do not
01:12:57.980 be afraid to share. Do not be afraid to put your name and face out there. Speak out. Don't be
01:13:04.220 afraid. Now's the time. The more of us that do this, guys, the more of us that do this, the louder
01:13:09.340 voice we have. Seriously, we cannot hide by cat avatar pictures on our Facebook page. And we can't
01:13:17.720 say, can you not mention my name? I want to stay anonymous. No, no more of that. The time has come
01:13:23.700 over with the more of us that stand up and speak out the better off we're going to be
01:13:28.740 so listen there is going to be a rally a gathering tomorrow at the rcmp headquarters
01:13:34.340 divisional headquarters in winnipeg i'm not sure exactly what time but if it's anything
01:13:39.420 like past rallies i'm going to assume it's noon or one o'clock this is not in conjunction with
01:13:46.860 ken drysdale's thing that is september 3rd this is a completely different thing uh people will
01:13:52.520 be gathering outside. And again, you know, this is all above board. There's not going to be any
01:13:57.940 aggressive behavior. It's all going to be peaceful, right? Bring a sign, whatever. Head down to the
01:14:03.100 RCMP headquarters tomorrow. There is a rally going on there. And then Ken Drysdale's is going to be
01:14:09.020 on September 3rd. These two rallies are not connected together unless you're talking about
01:14:14.260 freedom-loving people going to vote. But the organizers are not the same. That's the reason
01:14:19.760 it's not connected all right um don't forget about the uh the farmer's market happening tomorrow at
