00:48:53.100 Four of the highest ranking U.S. health officials, including Anthony Fauci, met in secret to

00:48:58.920 discuss whether or not naturally immune people should be exempt from getting these ridiculous

00:49:03.680 gene formulas. The officials brought in four outside experts to discuss whether the protection

00:49:11.500 gained after recovering from COVID, known as natural immunity, should count as one or more

00:49:17.620 vaccine doses. There was interest in several people in the administration in hearing basically

00:49:22.720 the opinions of four immunologists in terms of what we thought about natural infection as

00:49:27.300 contributing to protection against moderate to severe disease and to what extent that should

00:49:31.980 influence dosing. Dr. Paul Offit, one of the experts, told the Epoch Times. Offit and another

00:49:39.300 expert took the position that the naturally immune need fewer doses. The other two experts argued

00:49:44.660 natural immunity shouldn't count as anything, although I don't know what the basis of that

00:49:48.780 argument could possibly be. The discussion did not lead to a change in U.S. vaccination policy,

00:49:54.360 which has never acknowledged post-infection protection, although there is one Canadian

00:49:58.660 province that is now, and we'll get to that story in just a minute. Fauci and the other U.S. officials

00:50:05.060 who heard from the experts have repeatedly downplayed that protection, claiming that it's

00:50:09.080 inferior to vaccine-bestowed immunity. Most studies on the subject indicate the opposite.

00:50:15.400 The meeting, held in October of 2021, was briefly discussed before on a podcast. The Epoch Times

00:53:01.520 COVID-19 should only count as a single dose. I added my voice at the meeting to count an

00:53:07.060 infection is equivalent to a dose of vaccine. I've always believed hybrid immunity likely 0.96

00:53:11.720 provides the most perfection, Osterholm said. Hybrid immunity refers to getting a vaccine

00:53:18.100 after recovering from COVID. Some papers have found vaccination after recovery boosts antibodies,

00:53:24.700 which are believed to be a correlate of protection. Other research has shown that

00:53:28.960 the naturally immune have a higher risk of side effects than those who haven't recovered from

00:53:33.380 infection. Some experts believe the risk is worth the benefit, but others do not. And just because

00:53:38.900 of that alone, the fact that there was never any consensus on whether or not this gene therapy

00:53:46.860 would ever work in any particular way, what kinds of harms it would do, and the fact that doctors

00:53:52.280 didn't agree on it to begin with, there was no way it should ever have been forced on anybody.
