00:00:30.000 Thank you.
00:01:00.000 Thank you.
00:01:30.000 Thank you.
00:02:00.000 Thank you.
00:02:30.000 Thank you.
00:03:00.000 hey everybody how you doing welcome to shadow at night this is friday march the 10th 2023 on the
00:03:10.920 show tonight rick wall from richland trucking in winkler we're going to talk first of all about
00:03:15.000 what he's been doing for the past year ever since the manitoba freedom convoy wrapped up
00:03:19.860 in front of the legislative grounds in winnipeg last year and the big gathering on monday night
00:03:25.800 in Winkler. This is very important. This is a gathering, it's a public meeting. Rick's going
00:03:33.100 to obviously know more about this, but this is a public meeting that's set for 7.30 on Monday night
00:03:39.160 and the public is welcome to discuss issues. So far, the Winkler Public Library Board has not
00:03:46.460 been willing to listen to the people of Winkler regarding those sexually explicit books that they
00:03:52.440 have in their library so people are gathering on monday night we need as many people as we
00:03:57.380 possibly can from that area and from all around southern manitoba if you're against sexually
00:04:04.900 explicit material in libraries within the reach of children so rick is going to come on and talk
00:04:11.160 about that in just a second i would like to address last night's show
00:04:15.700 now if you weren't here last night you don't know what happened so go back and watch the thing
00:04:24.480 first of all but what happened was we had jeff stone from tacit investigations and security on
00:04:29.900 who had pulled some court documents on chris sky and we had discovered that chris skiocha
00:04:36.640 a chris skiocha had been involved in some kind of drug ring in toronto a few years back and was
00:04:44.180 sentenced to 33 months in jail and this was based upon the fact that Chris Skye the Chris Skye we
00:04:52.220 know last weekend released some information that was erroneous regarding Pierre Polyev's wife
00:04:59.420 Anita and her connection to Switch Health based in Ottawa so when we revealed the information we had
00:05:08.900 last night the comment section lit up like high school and i couldn't believe the things that i
00:05:19.500 was seeing and i didn't see it in real time because obviously i was in the middle of the show
00:05:23.920 but i i read some of the comments later on and i just could not believe and i got some emails this
00:05:29.860 morning some ang how dare you shadow davis how dare you diss chris sky he's the hero of my world
00:05:36.700 And I thought to myself, OK, so are people actually looking for the truth or are people looking for some kind of hero who is going to guide them out of the problems that we're in right now?
00:05:53.520 And if you're putting all of your eggs in one basket, you're putting them on Chris Sky, please remember that Chris Sky is a human being like anybody else.
00:06:03.600 and he is not going to save you alone neither am i neither is any other advocate or independent
00:06:12.240 journalist or anybody with a platform we are here at least i'm here i can't speak for anybody else
00:06:19.280 to search for the truth sometimes we're going to go to areas that are a little bit touchy
00:06:25.840 and that's okay with me but ultimately what we're going to try to get to is the truth and
00:06:32.920 if we're wrong about things we will definitely let you know about that okay i don't claim to be 100
00:06:41.980 percent foolproof on anything that i do and if i make an erroneous statement and i find out that
00:06:48.820 it's erroneous after i say it then i'll definitely come back and correct it and i won't do it like
00:06:53.860 the left-wing corporate media newspapers do it on the back page i'll do it at the beginning of the
00:06:59.580 show when most people are watching because that's only fair okay so to that end because everybody
00:07:07.660 got so riled up last night and chris guy himself made some comments in the rumble section of the
00:07:13.020 show last night we're gonna have jeff stone come back on tuesday night and chris sky will join us
00:07:19.720 as well tentatively okay this is tentative we worked it out about two hours ago but things
00:07:26.380 could change so until further notice you guys can go ahead and write down on your calendars that
00:07:31.880 jeff stone from tacit and chris sky will be joining the show on tuesday night all right
00:07:37.720 okay we're trying to straighten everything out tuesday night right here on the shadow at night

00:09:54.280 Same goes for Twitter.
00:09:55.220 If you're watching on Twitter, don't forget to give us the heart or the retweet.
00:09:58.740 And if you're watching on Facebook, you know the drill.
00:10:01.360 Don't forget to like and share.
00:10:03.840 Okay. I want to show you this video here before we go and talk to Rick Wall. This comes from Eli Canton Nantel. He's a reporter for TNC.news True North. Ottawa Progressive Public School Trustee Dr. Nilly Kaplan-Mirth. She's the mask freak that you saw on all those videos a couple of months back when the Ottawa Civic election was going on.
00:10:25.680 She actually wore a mask on a video Zoom interview call with nobody else in the room.
00:10:33.660 And she has wild eyes and she had the mask on and it was seriously crazy.
00:10:38.880 And she somehow won a council seat.
00:10:42.140 Anyway, Dr. Nillie Kaplan-Mirth shuts down a concerned parent speaking at yesterday's board meeting on the grounds that his speech created an unsafe environment for people who identify as gender diverse.
00:10:56.020 Let's see what happened here, you guys.
00:10:59.900 I'm going to read from my notes.
00:11:01.160 Thank you.
00:11:01.560 My name is Nick Moravito.
00:11:03.320 I'm a father of four children in the school board at three schools.
00:11:06.380 My daughters are 10, 12.
00:11:07.860 My sons are 14 and 16.
00:11:10.220 The six of us have lived in Manitou for 10 years, and I grew up in Canada.
00:11:14.040 I became aware a few weeks ago that trans students, in particular students that were assigned a male gender birth,
00:11:20.400 are allowed to use the same bathroom unsupervised as my 12-year-old daughter.
00:11:24.780 having a 14 year old boy and being having been a 14 year old boy before and as a male knowing how
00:11:30.540 sexually driven a male's body is at the age of 13 onwards this did not sit well with me i wasn't
00:11:36.540 present at the board meeting that pushed this policy through and i can't figure out when this
00:11:40.460 was done my oldest friends can attest to my belief in the safety and inclusivity of all people
00:11:46.540 i always have but this is about having appropriate and safe boundaries for progression and doing
00:11:51.660 things in line with the parental community's wishes i'm sorry mr maravito um on the ground
00:11:57.340 for this creates an unsafe environment for people who identify as gender diverse i'm going to have
00:12:03.500 to ask you to um end your end your delegation how does this uh provide an unsafe environment
00:12:09.980 we're going to take a two-minute recess
00:12:22.980 he was given four minutes four minutes to speak who are you to stop him you work for the public
00:12:36.020 he's a member of the public and a concerned parent you're not even listening to him
00:12:39.980 You're not even listening to him.
00:12:59.440 So there's a guy who capitulated, my friends.
00:13:02.540 He capitulated and used the expression
00:13:04.740 gender assigned at birth even
00:13:07.140 so that he wouldn't ruffle the feathers
00:13:08.920 of these incredibly Marxist council members and yet somehow he still managed to get shut down
00:13:15.460 after 30 seconds trying to address city council there in Ottawa based upon his concerns that his
00:13:21.940 10 and 12 year old daughters were going to be in change rooms that allows boys so that's a
00:13:28.100 different situation than what is happening in Winkler I'm joined by Rick Wall who is the
00:13:32.700 president of Richland Trucking in Winkler hello Rick welcome back to the show it's been a while
00:13:36.560 how you doing buddy hey shadow hey it's great to be back i'm doing great how about yourself
00:13:40.620 very good thank you uh you've been in the fight but you've been in a background situation for the
00:13:46.240 past year ever since the fantastic organization that you brought to the manitoba freedom convoy
00:13:51.160 last year um what's going on in winkler when it comes to the libraries i've had a couple of the
00:13:57.960 ladies who have been in that fight on the show in the past couple of weeks and they've done a
00:14:01.780 fantastic job of fighting back and trying to get the word out as much as possible uh rick but
00:14:07.640 you've got a couple of young children i mean what exactly is is going on down there well what's
00:14:14.200 really concerning i hope you can hear me okay i know i got a bit of an echo um but what's most
00:14:19.120 concerning now what's transpired in the last couple of months i guess is because is uh that
00:14:24.340 one of the delegates uh karen bamen i think i can see her name publicly she's been quite public
00:14:28.420 she was the presenter originally last september i believe it was um at the south central regional
00:14:34.980 library to bring this whole issue to their concern or this whole concern to their to their
00:14:39.520 attention and so she has requested multiple times three times in fact um to be a delegate at this
00:14:46.260 up this monday's upcoming um public meeting and she's been refused that right to do so so that
00:14:52.580 is a huge concern at this point um we seem to have a voice um you know up until now and now it seems
00:14:59.140 like our voices is being silenced and that is not okay so that's the reason why we're encouraging
00:15:05.800 people to come out and support um this public this public meeting again it's not an event put
00:15:11.700 put on by us it's just simply a south central regional library public meeting which uh any
00:15:16.860 public member member has the right to attend and uh again because uh we are being silenced we want
00:15:23.520 we want to go and and you know and show that that's that's not okay you you can't silence us
00:15:29.680 we're still going to show up in support but we're still going to show up and uh and see what's
00:15:34.500 happening at the meeting and uh even though they're not allowing us to speak are these board
00:15:39.440 members telling you why they're not allowing you guys in to speak i can't i can't go into great
00:15:44.580 detail on that i i'm not the one that's been in communication um directly with the board members
00:15:50.000 but um what i do know from talking to some of the delegates is that um after multiple requests like
00:15:56.940 they weren't they weren't really getting a straight answer even to the question or even to
00:16:01.140 the request um the board was kind of i guess uh in a roundabout way beating around the bush to put
00:16:06.960 it simply and just not really addressing the situation but to this point have not been um
00:16:12.580 have not been okayed to come speak at the meeting on monday uh what's the mood down in winkler and
00:16:18.980 and morden in the last little while i know you guys had a drag queen story hour a couple of
00:16:24.820 weeks back and it was sold out what people are starting to lose their minds down there yet
00:16:30.740 well as you stated same thing i was thinking we had a drag show not too far from here yes it was
00:16:36.580 morden um the culture seems to be a little bit different when it comes to between winkler and
00:16:41.540 morden i'm not sure if that would have been the case in winkler but that being said it's hard to
00:16:46.300 tell where the public is at i mean you see a lot of outrage um on social media and so forth but
00:16:52.980 when it comes to putting boots on the ground and coming out to support
00:16:56.000 you know these events or when you're trying to fight against this woke agenda um you know
00:17:02.900 the numbers the numbers tell how serious people are when people show up to events such as what's
00:17:08.600 coming up on monday so i i guess we'll see it's kind of hard to say are people scared do you think
00:17:14.260 they don't want to be labeled as a racist or a bigot or uh intolerant you know what that could
00:17:21.220 be one of the things i think maybe one of the things uh that i can you know i can only speak
00:17:27.420 of myself and basically my my my complete adult life up until the last couple years when i really
00:17:34.260 started to pay attention about what was going on politically and so forth you know i i never
00:17:40.080 attended any public meetings there wasn't any concern you know it didn't didn't really affect
00:17:45.140 me in any way um and i think maybe some people are still there where they're somewhat ignorant
00:17:50.380 maybe um not even maybe they're just not knowledgeable of it i mean this stuff is going
00:17:56.720 around everywhere for anyone that's you know that's on social media and so forth you would
00:18:00.860 think most people would know at this point that this is a huge issue in most communities but that
00:18:05.260 being said there may still be some people that you know just since the restrictions uh you know
00:18:10.280 lifted quite some time ago that we just kind of go back to life as usual but certainly not the
00:18:15.160 case for those that have been paying attention it's all part of the same agenda which is the
00:18:20.020 message that we've been trying to get out for a few years now whether it's restrictions lockdowns
00:18:25.380 mandates uh drag queen story hours whatever else is going on it's all part of the same
00:18:31.680 globalist nightmare and i'm certainly hoping that at some point people start realizing that
00:18:36.980 do you think maybe there's some apathy as well or people might be tired of fighting and they want
00:18:41.900 somebody else to step up and start taking that taking that rope that's likely it could be the
00:18:49.680 case for some people um i'll be honest the people that i know that have been very much involved in
00:18:55.140 this fight since the very beginning a lot if not most of those people are still involved um
00:19:00.680 we're just you know we're not we're just not going to give up right i mean it's just way too
00:19:04.320 important and i mean we feel too something like this which yes that maybe we may be on a low scale
00:19:11.540 with these sexualized books in our libraries that we're starting out at but i mean if we can't you
00:19:16.480 know if we can't get a victory out of this one um for the protection of our children if we give up
00:19:22.400 on this one i mean what's the sense of continuing to fight right so i would you know i could if i
00:19:27.880 could just encourage everyone for those that are you know that have just kind of been sitting on
00:19:31.780 the wayside i mean you can do something you don't have to you know you don't have to get out there
00:19:37.260 in public and you don't speak speak publicly on on the shadow davis show which for me too this is
00:19:43.800 not really something that's within my comfort zone but all you you can make a tremendous impact by
00:19:50.060 just simply showing up to these events uh we know a lot of people do not support what's going on
00:19:54.960 here so don't stay home and just hope that a bunch of other people will show up that you can
00:19:59.500 you know that you can witness how many people came out to support be one of the ones that comes out
00:20:04.640 to support this yeah there you guys had a big thing i think it was last summer where people
00:20:09.880 even couldn't get into the room there was so many people that turned out and that made me happy i
00:20:13.920 I thought, wow, you know, like Winkler is the last bastion here in Manitoba.
00:20:18.800 Anyhow. And, you know, I said to Jen and a couple of other people down there, I said, if we lose Winkler, the province is gone.
00:20:25.980 So we need Winkler to stand up. And I would recruit anybody I can, not just from the area, either Winnipeg people,
00:20:33.400 anybody who's within a reasonable drive time from Winkler to show up.
00:20:37.900 You don't necessarily have to be from the district. We're talking about kids here. Right.
00:20:43.320 Absolutely.
00:20:44.000 I mean, as far as when it comes to our petition, so I should maybe just backtrack a little bit for those that don't know.
00:20:50.660 The reason why Karen wanted to be a delegate was to present the petition that's been going around, which has come to a close, which we've acquired 1,796 signatures.
00:21:02.040 um that's what she wanted to present and that was the issue she wanted to bring to the board
00:21:06.760 and basically state to the fact of this many people are dissatisfied with what's going on here
00:21:13.880 and um that was you know that was our main goal and focus that we wanted to bring to their
00:21:18.820 attention so and again i just want to state as well um those signatures i was involved of helping
00:21:24.500 to get some of those signatures as well i want to say with 1796 i mean we just scratched the surface
00:21:30.060 year i mean with and with more time and more effort i mean all of us have we have lives that
00:21:36.500 we have to attend to we have families we have jobs so there's only so and so much time in a day to
00:21:40.500 get these petitions signed but we just scratched the surface within a short period of time we had
00:21:44.440 this out there and i mean there's a great number of people that are obviously very concerned about
00:21:48.540 this and what's even more concerning now is that we're being we're being silenced and you know that
00:21:53.080 we're not allowed to speak but you're right at that september meeting i was there i was in
00:21:56.980 attendance and the room was completely full at first they weren't even sure if they were going
00:22:01.860 to allow us to stay they were they were talking about um the fire code and how many people they
00:22:06.220 were legally allowed to have in that room um just kind of everybody kind of chuckled it's like you
00:22:10.340 know what we're probably not going to go anywhere because of uh fire code regulations today we're
00:22:15.560 here to uh to show um that we're not happy with what's going on and yeah there was a lot of people
00:22:21.120 in the rest of the library building back then so we'll we'll see how the event turns out on
00:22:25.960 monday hopefully we can fill up the entire building and maybe the parking lot as well that'd
00:22:30.460 be great yeah yeah i'd like to see that so it's 7 30 on monday night at the winkler public library
00:22:35.940 south central library in winkler and then the next night i believe at 6 30 there's going to be the
00:22:40.820 same uh type of gathering happening in stanley so um uh you know what can i make a correction on
00:22:47.260 that real quick i have some notes on that actually it is on tuesday so tuesday with march 14th so
00:22:53.500 that's the next evening that is actually the Winkler public hearing that is a budgetary hearing
00:22:58.900 if I remember correctly and that's that's also for the public so anybody actually anybody that
00:23:04.500 doesn't know that's from within the city of Winkler you have a Winkler address you can go speak at this
00:23:09.780 event I've learned from the last week to register is quite simple I'm from the arm of Stanley I have
00:23:15.640 registered to speak at the arm of Stanley event I'll address that right away after this but I
00:23:21.040 just want to encourage people to to yeah really all you got to do is send an email it's pretty
00:23:26.220 easy to register and uh they'll they'll save a spot for you where you can go out and raise your
00:23:30.960 concerns so i would strongly encourage people to go um somebody somebody told me this week they
00:23:37.440 had spoke to one of the organizers at the city of winkler for these meetings and and that individual
00:23:42.680 had stated that last year and typically like one person shows up to these public hearings and i
00:23:48.620 think that's the issue right and again I can only speak on behalf of myself I never used to attend
00:23:53.380 any of them but I don't think we really realize the power that we have although most of us have
00:24:00.320 given up on the political system I think I'm one of them but at the same time within our local
00:24:06.460 politics I think we can still make a huge impact and that is to go so not only to go raise awareness
00:24:13.040 and show your concerns but also to go show support for the good men and women that are public servants
00:24:19.000 that have that we have elected there's a lot of good ones there but when you have one citizen show
00:24:23.940 up and that maybe doesn't raise a single concern like imagine being a councillor I mean you're
00:24:28.100 there whatever comes up on the agenda nobody's saying that you know that that they dislike it
00:24:34.380 or that they don't agree with it right so but then people publicly or on social media everyone's
00:24:39.800 complaining about all this woke agenda coming in well here's your chance go voice your opinion
00:24:44.540 go let your voice be heard and support the good men and women that are civil servants and that
00:24:51.400 would i'm sure would help encourage them to make the right decisions as well and i will just so
00:24:56.020 okay so the city of winklers is tuesday march 14th at 6 30 p.m at the winkler city hall and then
00:25:02.520 And the municipality, rural municipality of Stanley is on Thursday, March 16th at 1030 a.m.
00:25:09.820 And that is at the Arm of Stanley building between Winkler and Morton, right beside the co-op truck stop for those that are familiar with the area.
00:25:16.800 So same deal there.
00:25:17.820 You can register, you can go speak.
00:25:19.660 And I would highly encourage people to do so.
00:25:22.380 Rick, do you know any people who are on the library board or who are on the municipal councils?
00:25:27.820 These people have to live in the area, right?
00:25:31.160 They have to exist with the other people in town.
00:25:35.280 And as you pointed out, you know, even with 1796 names on that petition, you probably could have gone way, way deeper and gotten more if you'd had the time.
00:25:44.880 I mean, these people probably have a lot of the same values as many of the people who signed the petition.
00:25:52.280 You know, how do they actually get through passing this nonsense?
00:25:59.500 Well, I believe the same as what your thought process is in these people.
00:26:03.880 And I think majority, I mean, for me, it's very simple.
00:26:09.600 I mean, for those that have any value or they have any godly morals, I guess, in my opinion, which this area prides themselves in, that there isn't anyone that can really agree that this is a benefit for children, what's happening here.
00:26:23.480 that said most of the elected officials i think if you would have a one-on-one off-the-record
00:26:30.560 conversation i would like to think majority of them would feel the same way as we do but yet
00:26:35.500 being public servants they feel the pressure from the other side as well and therefore i think that's
00:26:41.920 why often that's why a lot of these things get passed because i think the pressure is greater
00:26:46.100 in this case probably from the provincial government than it is from the people
00:26:50.960 And again, I have to go back on what I stated earlier, and it's because people lack to show up.
00:26:56.480 People lack to show up and support the ones that would be willing to make the right decision
00:27:02.080 if they felt that they had the support from the general public.
00:27:06.140 Yeah, people talk a good game online, but not so much when it comes time to show your face, right?
00:27:11.200 And I'm certainly hoping that it's not laziness or fear that's keeping people away,
00:27:18.000 because it's now more important than ever before to get your face out there.
00:27:23.180 Even if you're not going to be speaking,
00:27:24.980 registering to speak at any one of these events that Rick just mentioned,
00:27:27.980 just show your face, man, like more bodies in the seats. You know,
00:27:30.780 that that's what we need. We need the power of people.
00:27:35.240 That's what it's all about. Rick, thank you for coming on tonight, man.
00:27:39.020 Listen, there's something that I'm,
00:27:40.780 that I'm trying to get going up in the Yorkton area, Yorkton, uh,
00:27:46.020 roblin area uh for later on this summer kind of a great big festival deal and you and i had spoken
00:27:51.320 briefly about that via text earlier this week i'm going to give you a call at some point early next
00:27:56.080 week i know you're going to be busy but i want to see if uh if you want to be involved in that in
00:28:00.660 some way and hopefully we can get the ball rolling on that too because it'll be fun sounds great i
00:28:05.380 look forward to hearing from you okay man thanks a lot good luck on monday rick and uh we'll talk
00:28:10.380 to you again soon yep sounds great thanks so much shadow god bless okay yeah you too rick wall from
00:28:15.800 richland trucking in winkler again 7 30 at the south central public library in winkler 7 30
00:28:22.580 monday night be there if you're within two hour drive i'm thinking maybe if i can get a lift down
00:28:30.360 there i'll do the show live from down there on on monday night because it's a big deal um
00:28:35.740 now something i just mentioned to rick that i'm sure you guys overheard
00:28:41.460 working on planning an event in the yorkton roblin area for maybe the canada day long weekend maybe
00:28:53.120 the weekend after that because i know canada day a lot of people are already booked with camping
00:28:57.320 trips or traditional events they do every year but we're trying to get something going in that area
00:29:03.220 make it a big festival type event just call it freedom fest something along those lines
00:29:09.860 and if anybody is interested in getting involved in the organization of that feel free to email me
00:29:19.240 shadow davis how it's spelled at the bottom of your screen shadow davis s-h-a-d-o-e-d-a-v-i-s
00:29:26.520 at gmail.com and also right now we're in the middle of looking for the perfect spot to do this
00:29:36.120 we've checked out a couple of sites so far we're checking out more so maybe you know somebody in
00:29:42.500 that area who's got a farm or some land and they'd be more than happy to have us have us and 5 000
00:29:51.380 of our closest friends show up we're talking about family events we're talking about bands
00:29:57.480 on a stage we're talking about a beer garden we're talking about camping and barbecues and
00:30:03.220 food trucks and family fun and then at night adult fun so that's the kind of thing i've got in mind
00:30:11.860 if you know anybody in that area who would like to participate organize donate email me and then i
00:30:20.520 will get the ball rolling on that as well we're forming the committee right now and we need to
00:30:25.660 start sooner rather than later okay let's get to uh all of the stories that i pulled for tonight
00:30:31.060 you guys and this is something that kind of flew under the radar a little bit for people this week
00:30:35.760 we had been talking a lot about an economic collapse in north america and that it's been
00:30:43.140 engineered by the cabal so they can bring in their digital currency well look what's going on right
00:30:47.420 now from the street.com two u.s banks collapse in 48 hours silicon valley bank just gave up today
00:30:56.860 which one's next this is something they call contagion and i'm going to get to that in just
00:31:02.540 a second silvergate bank served the cryptocurrency industry well svb again that is silicon valley
00:31:09.320 bank was the bank for startups tech startups in the silicon valley a black week for the american
00:31:14.520 financial system. In just 48 hours, the banking sector has been shaken by the collapse of two
00:31:20.660 major banks. And most worrying is that these banks served two so-called growth economic sectors,
00:31:26.740 the tech sector and the cryptocurrency sector. All right. So we're going to leave that there.
00:31:30.860 How does that affect us here in Canada? Remember how closely the American and the Canadian
00:31:36.900 economies are tied, you guys. We are each other's largest trading partners, bar none. Second is
00:31:42.840 way way back first canada for the u.s u.s for canada and then whoever else afterwards it doesn't
00:31:49.200 matter so from the financial post look at this headline here canadian banks this week
00:31:56.100 have erased 19.7 billion dollars in value on the silicon valley bank contagion when one bank goes
00:32:06.980 down another bank goes down and every other bank that is remember all these banks are tied
00:32:12.540 together in some way shape or form all the other banks are going to hurt some of them may go down
00:32:17.520 as well if you have banks going down then you've got people losing money even though it's insured
00:32:25.120 by the government and so that means that the government's got to pay all that money back but
00:32:29.800 will they ah they're close to defaulting themselves in the united states in canada we are way over
00:32:36.220 budget and have been for years thanks to justin trudeau now has justin trudeau been doing this
00:32:41.100 on purpose? I would like to say no. I'd like to think that it's because of his bumbling and he
00:32:46.640 doesn't know what he's doing, but maybe it is some kind of a controlled collapse of our economy
00:32:51.660 and our currency. So it couldn't hurt to go and check what your bank statement says right now.
00:33:02.800 As this headline points out, guys, from the Financial Post, Canadian banks erased $19.7
00:33:09.580 billion dollars in value on silicon valley bank contagion and that story came out today
00:33:16.260 all of the major banks in this country in one day lost nearly 20 billion dollars we may have
00:33:25.060 to get set for bail-ins very soon it's more prevalent in the united states than it is in
00:33:29.440 canada but it can happen here as well what's a bail-in the banks start taking your money
00:33:34.700 to pay their debts you may have seen videos in the past few weeks of people going to the bank
00:33:41.700 to try and withdraw money only to find that their bank accounts are empty what yeah the bank
00:33:46.820 temporarily took their funds they'll be back don't worry about it but when you've got banks
00:33:52.420 collapsing what happens to your money that's what i want to know they say your money's insured but
00:33:58.500 who really knows for sure now speaking about banks here's here's an interesting i know nothing about
00:34:04.260 country music at all and i'd never heard of john rich until a couple of months ago when he was
00:34:11.280 speaking out against all the crapola that's been going on these past few years right and i became
00:34:16.220 a fan even though i can't really stand country music and by the way to be fair when we do get
00:34:23.460 this freedom fest going in the yorkton roblin area at some point this summer and that's
00:34:30.200 at some point this summer it's going to happen we're going to make it happen i will get a couple
00:34:38.500 of country bands to play even though i can't stand country music as a rule not since i was a kid
00:34:44.120 johnny cash okay that's as far as i'm gonna go but i will get a couple of country bands to play
00:34:50.700 because i know that even though i don't like it many other people do anyway country music singer
00:34:59.080 John Rich creates Freedom Bank with Dr. Ben Carson and Larry Elder, and they will never cancel
00:35:06.440 law-abiding customers. If you're tired there, I guess that's John Rich right there. If you're
00:35:12.840 tired of censorship, cancel culture, and the erosion of privacy and civil liberties, subscribe
00:35:18.240 to Reclaim the Net. That's where this story comes from. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson,
00:35:23.340 country singer John Rich, and conservative commentator Larry Elder have bought a bank
00:35:27.900 that they say will promote American values
00:35:30.280 and protect customers from the cancel culture
00:35:32.380 and deplatforming that's been seen in recent times.
00:35:36.240 The three conservatives acquired
00:35:37.620 the first state bank of Elmore City, Oklahoma,
00:35:40.800 the state's oldest bank.
00:35:42.240 They've renamed it to the Old Glory Bank
00:35:44.920 and changed it into a bank that supports freedom,
00:35:47.500 privacy, security, life, and liberty.
00:35:49.280 Now, this is only one bank.
00:35:52.640 It's not a chain of banks.
00:35:54.920 it's not a worldwide bank it's simply one bank and maybe maybe it'll do well because there's so
00:36:05.100 many of us out there now this is an american thing obviously and there's different banking
00:36:10.240 systems in the united states and canada so chances are probably 99.9 percent unless you've got some
00:36:16.800 kind of tie to america as a canadian you won't be able to use this bank but there are so many
00:36:24.620 of us out there, I suspect that this particular bank that these guys have purchased and renamed
00:36:29.620 is going to be incredibly, hugely successful, which will lead them to buying other banks and
00:36:35.300 other banks and other banks and very soon become a big chain of American banks. And at that point,
00:36:42.580 perhaps they'll think about branching out to other countries. Interesting, right? Okay,
00:36:46.560 let's get to the Chinese election interference. And I know I've said this before, but I'm going
00:36:51.220 to say it again. CSIS has been warning the federal government of Canada for over 15 years that
00:36:58.280 Chinese infiltrators have tried to affect Canadian elections, and it's been in the newspaper for that
00:37:04.700 long as well. Nobody has paid attention. Stephen Harper didn't pay attention back then. Certainly
00:37:09.720 Justin Trudeau hasn't paid attention now or at any point in the last eight years. It's coming home
00:37:15.520 to roost and biting him in the ass, and chances are good this will be the scandal that finally
00:37:20.760 brings old blackface down but they also warned 15 years ago that chinese chinese interference
00:37:29.880 had been happening at provincial and municipal levels so this story comes from true north tnc.news
00:37:36.520 and here we go report implicates an ontario mpp in chinese election interference plot and here he
00:37:44.600 is here with Doug Ford. Global news has learned. Global news is all over this Chinese election
00:37:51.860 interference thing. I do have to give them props for that. They've learned from intelligent sources
00:37:56.280 that progressive conservative MPP Vincent Key acted as a financial middleman for the Chinese
00:38:02.980 Communist Party in schemes aimed at interfering with the Canadian political process. These claims
00:38:08.960 are detailed in two separate intelligence reports from the privy council office key has seen has
00:38:15.460 since denied the claims with his lawyers calling them patently and maliciously false after a global
00:38:21.920 news reporter approached key about the story he called the allegations racist remember he's a
00:38:27.900 conservative it doesn't matter what party they represent guys it doesn't matter they're part of
00:38:37.600 the establishment that's what matters this is a false accusation this is racist said key how does
00:38:45.280 he say it's racist it's racist because i was born in china because i come from china that doesn't
00:38:50.060 matter what matters is the fact that your buddies financially interfered in a canadian election
00:38:56.220 so you can sit there and yell racist all you like buddy but it doesn't matter because we know that
00:39:02.520 That's only a smoke stream. That's a deflection for what this really is, which is treasonous.
00:39:09.100 According to sources, the Ontario MPP allegedly received approximately $50,000 from a larger $250,000 sum set aside for election interference purposes.
00:39:21.680 The money is believed to have originated from the Chinese consulate. No charges have been pressed.
00:39:27.600 in january of last year report by the privy council's intelligence assessment secretariat
00:39:35.700 further claims the ccp's influence included more than 11 candidates who ran in the 2019 federal
00:39:42.540 election over 13 aides and a member of the ontario legislature this guy a large clandestine transfer
00:39:50.800 of funds earmarked for the federal election from the prc consulate in toronto was transferred to
00:39:55.780 an elected provincial government official via a staff member of a 2019 federal candidate community
00:40:01.640 leaders facilitate the clandestine transfer of funds and recruit potential targets
00:40:07.360 it's amazing to me that these politicians continue to deny this when they are caught
00:40:17.540 dead to rights all right switching gears for a second here what does that look like to you
00:40:25.780 A bowl of bugs, a bowl of larvae.
00:40:28.060 I know it's gross.
00:40:29.260 Some of you might be going,
00:40:30.460 Ew, Shadow, why are you showing us that?
00:40:32.960 I just ate.
00:40:34.360 I understand.
00:40:35.960 I understand.
00:40:37.380 But this may be something
00:40:38.940 that you will be eating yourself very soon.
00:40:42.400 Not in this form.
00:40:44.380 Because what they'll do with these things
00:40:46.200 is they'll take them,
00:40:48.420 they'll dry them out,
00:40:50.160 they'll grind them up,
00:40:51.420 they'll make powder out of them,
00:40:52.620 and then they'll put them in your cereal
00:40:54.780 or your drink cocktails or soup
00:40:59.660 or whatever it is we eat, anything processed,
00:41:03.560 and claim that it's protein.
00:41:07.800 And it is, technically speaking,
00:41:10.680 just not the kind of protein we're used to.
00:41:13.300 I don't want to eat bugs.
00:41:16.840 Even if they're ground up and sprinkled into something.
00:41:22.580 you know my dad used to put onions in hamburger patties when i was like 10 years old he'd barbecue
00:41:29.500 like that and the onions were right inside the patty and i can't stand onions and i'd say dad
00:41:35.260 did you put the onions in the actual patty yeah yeah i did well i don't like that i don't want
00:41:41.180 that i don't like onions you know that well you can't even taste them i said if you can't taste
00:41:44.940 them then why'd you put them in there in the first place same thing with this cricket dust anyway
00:41:50.280 as part of its women for climate mentorship program the city of toronto has selected a
00:41:57.120 specialist in artificial intelligence quote urban insect farms unquote to guide the next
00:42:04.700 generation of environmental entrepreneurs ladies and gentlemen the climate industry
00:42:09.920 is multi-billion dollars it's massive and that is partly where all of the money comes from
00:42:20.260 to fund all of the crap that we're seeing now when it comes to the drag queens and the sexually
00:42:25.860 explicit books and libraries people are getting paid off that's what's going on it's all about
00:42:34.360 the money now where's the money coming from maybe it's george soros that'd be a good a good choice
00:42:41.480 or bill gates or both on tuesday a press release detailed the 11 local women selected to participate
00:42:50.900 in the program to help mentees advance their climate related projects or business startups
00:42:55.820 one of the mentors funded by the city is the ceo of bug mars natalie duncan and her specialty
00:43:03.980 is in precision agriculture for urban insect farms using AI-enabled technology to sustainably
00:43:11.200 produce nutritious alternative protein foods while reducing food miles and reusing waste heat
00:43:17.540 from facilities to offset greenhouse gas emissions, the press release states. So
00:43:23.360 let me just continue on here. According to her biography, Duncan is a cricket farmer with an
00:43:30.560 interest in sustainable foods. Bugmar's initiative is to circularly produce nutritious alternative
00:43:36.520 proteins in abundance by moving alternative protein production to urban areas to reduce
00:43:40.580 travel while we're using waste heat, blah, blah, blah, blah. I would often playfully say starvation
00:43:45.820 is a pretty motivating factor. However, as urbanization and population growth increases
00:43:50.440 and crops are heavily impacted by climate change, my playful tone is shifted to one of unwavering
00:43:56.280 sincerity guys this is real we've been joking about it for a very long time but they've already
00:44:06.620 set up the infrastructure to make this happen what's next they're going to start removing
00:44:13.160 slowly but surely and they're already doing it right now removing red meat from supermarkets
00:44:19.480 because the supermarkets are all in on it as well or they're going to make roasts so incredibly and
00:44:24.960 insanely priced that nobody could afford them but we can't afford crickets
00:44:28.800 we need the protein man somebody sent me a picture the other day and i'm not sure if it's real or not
00:44:36.640 because it's so difficult to tell what's real and what's not these days but i'll throw it out to you
00:44:41.340 anyway somebody showed me a picture of a roast in a nova scotia supermarket and the price on this
00:44:47.580 roast, and it wasn't huge or anything, was $203. I couldn't believe it. So what is that? Like
00:44:55.720 $50 a pound for this thing? That's what they're going to do to us. It's going to be so bad that
00:45:04.120 we can't afford to have steaks or hamburgers or anything like that, and we're going to be
00:45:09.360 having cricket burgers. The infrastructure is already in place, guys. They've got urban cricket
00:45:17.340 farms they're doing it and we're letting them because we're so distracted by everything else
00:45:23.520 that's going on and of course right now it's only an option but when's it going to become
00:45:29.920 mandatory at some point i mean this woman's saying it starvation is a pretty motivating
00:45:33.940 factor however as urbanization and population growth increases and crops are heavily impacted
00:45:38.400 by climate change no proof of that by the way my playful tone has shifted to one of unwavering
00:45:45.820 sincerity to me that is shocking and alarming and look what else it's from the new york times
00:45:52.500 this story came out last september i saw one of these crazy over-the-top hysterical headlines
00:45:59.720 from kian bexty's counter signal on twitter just before the show started tonight
00:46:03.420 claiming that the un has decided they're going to block out the sun so i kind of laughed because i
00:46:10.080 know that kian is like you know over the top with hyperbole so i went and looked it up tried to find
00:46:16.420 other sources and from the new york times a trusted a trusted mainstream publication
00:46:25.280 at least it used to be should we block the sun scientists say the time has come to study it
00:46:33.540 the national academy said the united states must study technologies that would artificially cool
00:46:39.700 the planet by reflecting away sunlight, some sunlight, not all sunlight, just some, citing
00:46:45.740 the lack of progress fighting global warming. So they're going to try and scare us with this
00:46:52.900 to get us to eat crickets. I don't know if they even have the technology to block out
00:46:58.600 the sun. Bill Gates seems to feel they do, and he wants this. I mean, at some point,
00:47:09.700 When are we all going to just stand up?
00:47:11.240 Like, I'm talking about the world here.
00:47:14.760 I'm not talking about your own community or just Canada.
00:47:20.360 I'm talking about the world.
00:47:22.500 When is the world going to stand up?
00:47:24.500 Like, every person in the world, all 8 billion of us,
00:47:28.600 when are we going to stand up and say,
00:47:30.240 all right, that's enough, you're done?
00:47:36.180 Because this is ridiculous.
00:47:37.900 But the problem is that there's still probably half of the world, so let's say 4 billion people, who are saying, no, no, no, we need this.
00:47:47.660 We need this because we're going to die without it.
00:47:50.180 The planet's going to crumble.
00:47:51.820 It's going to explode.
00:47:56.800 And therein lies the problem, my friends.
00:48:00.800 So that's where this show comes in.
00:48:03.160 that's where you come in sharing this show on facebook liking and sharing it or retweeting it
00:48:08.940 on twitter or or giving it a thumbs up on rumble we need you to do that the show by the way is
00:48:14.180 brought to you by tacit investigations and security jeff stone and chris sky tentatively
00:48:19.560 scheduled for tuesday night here on the shadow at night live stream and the show is also brought
00:48:23.940 to you by canada nanosilver.ca so what is going on in edmonton you've been hearing about the 15
00:48:30.400 Minute Cities. We talked to Chris Schaefer about it briefly the other night. And then Dr. William
00:48:35.420 Mack is both from Edmonton. William is there right now. And Chris is in Nicaragua right now,
00:48:41.300 but heading back to Edmonton in the next few weeks. And they've been hearing about the smart
00:48:44.700 cities. I asked them a little bit about it, but that's not their areas of expertise. Of course,
00:48:49.100 Chris, it's the breathing barriers and Dr. William Mack is medical issues. So somebody sent this to
00:48:55.060 me today i have no idea who this woman is and when you look at this still shot of her she looks kind
00:49:01.240 of crazy now i'm not saying she is crazy and you know i know that some of us instill pictures when
00:49:08.760 when it's taken out of a video we can kind of look weird anyway right like
00:49:12.060 you know if i'm making a point right in the middle of making a point like
00:49:17.860 you know so i'm not saying she is i don't know who she is like i say but listen to what she
00:49:24.860 has to say she is very specific about what's going on in Edmonton and where so let's have a listen and
00:49:31.940 if you're watching from the Edmonton area maybe you can go and check this out for me take some
00:49:37.200 video or take some pictures of what she is talking about if it exists and send them to me on email
00:49:43.140 shadowdavis at gmail.com watch yeah we want all right you know what's happening in my district
00:49:50.360 here in Edmonton, Alberta. I live off Ellerslie's Road. And if you go to 66th Street and all the
00:49:56.800 way up 75th Street, it looks like a war zone. You know what they're doing? They're digging
00:50:04.680 everything up and they put the zone numbers on the posts already. They are already putting up
00:50:10.540 the great big towers and changed all the lights where they take your facial ID and it's surveillance.
00:50:18.440 and right outside my house all the way down to the block where the school is and then you turn
00:50:24.700 in a great big long street that way literally every 12 feet there's signage that says
00:50:32.240 um the speed limit and also um under photo surveillance every 12 feet and then there's
00:50:42.060 this great big um like a tower thing from uh epcor where it's massive big so that's i guess uh
00:50:51.440 like the uh headquarters of the surveillance towers or whatever because all the street lamps
00:50:56.700 are being changed where there's a facial recognition there's over 4 600 of them already
00:51:03.500 so wow and uh even um they already got like the those like concrete big concrete uh gray
00:51:13.200 uh they must stand about five feet kind of fences or whatever they're already putting those up
00:51:19.860 around so who uh it'd be nice to think that way if it was actually true but people giving false
00:51:27.000 hope and uh trying to make people believe that uh oh they ran out of things to do after there's
00:51:33.200 you know no covid no aliens no this or that it's bullshit plain bullshit all right again i don't
00:51:42.000 know who that woman is i don't know how much credence we can put in what she's saying
00:51:47.400 so that's why i'm asking you guys if you live in the area she said she off 60 66th street on the
00:51:55.660 75th she said that's where all that activity is going on right now so if you're in that area
00:52:00.800 or you know somebody who is in that area get them out there take some video and some pictures and
00:52:06.300 send to me shadow davis at gmail.com but we've been hearing for quite some time right edmonton
00:52:13.400 is going to be the first 15 minute city in canada that's what the current mayor ran on
00:52:19.440 that was his platform he ran on the 15 minute city he still got his election website up and
00:52:24.700 you can go and look at it right now forget his name but from edmonton you know
00:52:28.160 so i'm going to leave that at that for now and i'm going to count on you guys to help me out
00:52:35.000 for monday night show and i will follow up on that if i do get any emails with video and
00:52:41.740 and pictures the censorship hearings continue in the united states today with journalists matt taibbi
00:52:50.960 and michael schellenberger and here's an exchange between those two
00:52:56.780 and matt gates who's a republican congressman i believe from florida let's have a listen i have
00:53:04.920 to get to a question i'm amazed hasn't been asked of the two of you this ftc consent decree where
00:53:11.060 it is government action subject to rigorous scrutiny under first amendment standards
00:53:15.660 government action demanding that your names be listed how did it feel when you found out
00:53:21.540 that you were being expressly reported a government document based on your reporting
00:53:26.560 it was chilling i mean it's disturbing i never thought that would happen in the united states
00:53:32.260 of america perfectly honest i've been in a bunch i've lived in a bunch of authoritarian countries
00:53:35.740 i've visited a lot of authoritarian countries never thought this kind of thing would be going
00:53:38.500 on here and the nexus to authoritarianism is the desire to control the nature of truth itself
00:53:43.700 Our understandings change about things.
00:53:45.780 We learn new things.
00:53:46.520 We challenge prior assumptions.
00:53:48.060 But if a bunch of people in Washington, D.C.
00:53:50.040 get to decide what the truth is
00:53:51.400 and then enforce it on the country
00:53:52.840 and then punish and target
00:53:54.940 those who report on their conduct,
00:53:56.780 we are drifting more toward that.
00:53:58.000 How did you feel, Mr. Taibbi,
00:53:58.960 when you saw your name?
00:54:00.780 I was upset, obviously.
00:54:03.460 I lived in Russia during the 90s and early 2000s.
00:54:07.620 I was there when Putin took power.
00:54:08.680 I was friends with a group of very brave,
00:54:11.760 muckraking reporters in Russia, many of whom didn't make it. A few of them were murdered
00:54:17.580 after Putin came to power. So I've always been conscious of how the risks that other reporters
00:54:23.060 take in other countries are incredibly severe. And that's one of the reasons why I'm motivated
00:54:27.380 to protect the First Amendment, because our country has the best protections for reporters
00:54:31.580 in the world. But this kind of thing where the government is looking for information about
00:54:37.040 reporters, it's usually a canary in the coal mine that something worse is coming in terms of
00:54:42.140 an effort to exercise control over the press. And so on that level, it's absolutely disturbing.
00:54:47.540 Also, the Aspen Institute report that we published today, talked about today in the Twitter files
00:54:52.040 thread, one of their recommendations was that the FTC be empowered to get to have unlimited power
00:54:59.540 to search all data of private companies so that they could more freely and more accurately search
00:55:05.200 the speech of ordinary citizens.
00:55:07.200 So as we're trying to put downward pressure
00:55:08.960 on the government's expanding authority
00:55:10.880 to be able to engage in
00:55:12.020 what we see mostly from dictatorships,
00:55:14.120 what you're reporting and what you're observing
00:55:15.680 is that actually they view this as a growth industry,
00:55:18.640 the information business, right?
00:55:20.100 This censorship industrial complex
00:55:22.320 is a growth industry to the government.
00:55:24.040 I think the key thing also, yes.
00:55:25.280 And the thing to understand is that NSF-
00:55:26.720 What is NewsGuard
00:55:27.640 and how are they part of the censorship industrial complex?
00:55:29.740 Yeah, and by the way, we talked about Richard Sangle.
00:55:31.180 He's on the board of NewsGuard.
00:55:32.260 NewsGuard and the Different Disinformation Index
00:55:33.600 are both U.S. government-funded entities
00:55:35.400 who are working to drive advertiser revenue
00:55:38.180 away from disfavored publications
00:55:39.960 and towards the ones that they favor.
00:55:42.300 This is totally inappropriate.
00:55:44.380 What I'm used to in this town
00:55:45.100 is government officials pick their favorite outlets
00:55:46.680 and they give them the best scoops
00:55:47.740 and they give them the best stories.
00:55:48.820 And there's a fusion of media and government
00:55:51.000 that has long made me uncomfortable.
00:55:52.400 But what you're describing now
00:55:53.640 is literally the directing of revenue
00:55:55.720 to certain media companies
00:55:57.920 over other media companies
00:55:59.400 designed and implemented
00:56:00.900 with U.S. government funding and support.
00:56:02.920 That's right. That is an astonishing way. If we do not take a look at NewsGuard, we have failed. And you talk about the brave reporting that occurs and what it subjects you to. I would suggest there is also political bravery that I have observed.
00:56:13.880 While we've only heard from Democrats on this panel attacking you, discrediting you, a lot like they've tried to attack and discredit FBI whistleblowers who are truth tellers, there are brave Democrats who still believe in free speech.
00:56:25.340 And I would advise my colleagues to look at the comments of Ro Khanna, who has been deeply, deeply concerned about this weaponization of government.
00:56:31.660 And he believes these Twitter files are indeed worthy of our focus and our energy.
00:56:35.120 And that is exactly what we are going to do.
00:56:36.500 Oh, Matt Gaetz rocks.
00:56:40.300 i wish we had politicians like that up here who are just completely unafraid of getting up there
00:56:48.620 and telling things like they are i mean seriously man we have got a huge censorship program in
00:56:56.600 canada and they're going to make it legal with bill c11 when this thing passes and it's this
00:57:02.000 close to passing you guys here it is right here this story comes from one of the sons toronto
00:57:09.440 sun i think this one is obviously this has been every in every sun media paper across the country
00:57:15.320 it doesn't matter vancouver sun edmonton sun calgary sun winnipeg sun ottawa sun
00:57:21.040 i think they might have three or four local stories in each version and then it's just
00:57:26.420 all this stuff here so uh this is an editorial here about what's going to happen with bill c11
00:57:34.260 by rachel thomas from the canadian press if you enjoy watching youtube and this is very very very
00:57:41.740 serious you guys well the united states is now trying to expose the censorship cabal that's
00:57:49.920 going on and the same thing is going on in the united kingdom here in canada it is only picking
00:57:56.340 up steam it's astonishing to me that this is being allowed to happen and there's nothing
00:58:04.660 that we can do about it we have clearly not been loud enough in our opposition to this
00:58:09.140 and the only hope that we have left is the senate digs their heels in and says no you will accept
00:58:18.060 all of the amendments that we told you to accept or this bill will not pass remember what i told
00:58:23.820 you earlier that you shall not pass. Remember what I told you earlier this week is that Pablo
00:58:30.860 Rodriguez, who is the minister behind this bill, is saying, yeah, we're going to take some of these
00:58:36.200 amendments, the Senate said, but not all of them. Well, they can't do that. The Senate says these
00:58:42.640 are the amendments that we want in place for this bill to become a law. You have to accept them or
00:58:49.380 else it gets sent back to the Senate. So will the Senate, unelected Senate, have the political will
00:58:55.560 to stand up and force all of the amendments that they have made into this bill? Or will they just
00:59:01.940 capitulate to the House of Commons? Because if they don't, what's going to happen is the House
00:59:06.840 of Commons is going to get up and they're going to start saying, we're the elected body of this
00:59:10.800 government. Those people are appointed and they should know better. They're not accountable to
00:59:16.440 anybody but we are and we want this bill to pass and then they're going to try and and make it as
00:59:20.980 though it's great for canadian content and it's great for canadian news and and blah blah blah
00:59:26.360 but it's not canadian content creators have been against this bill from the very beginning
00:59:32.000 anyway if you enjoy watching youtube videos or prefer on-demand streaming services like netflix
00:59:41.140 or disney over cable or radio bill c11 will have a big impact on you through this piece of
00:59:48.080 legislation the government is about to give itself the authority to control what you watch
00:59:54.520 if you thought it was bad before when they were doing it undercover now they're going to be able
01:00:01.600 to do it legally with this bill instead of giving you more of what you want youtube will be
01:00:10.800 instructed to give you more of what the government wants you to watch. The government claims this
01:00:17.120 bill is about supporting Canadian culture and leveling the playing field, but that's just not
01:00:21.780 true. Let me explain, she says. Bill C-11 amends the Broadcasting Act by bringing the internet
01:00:29.360 under its provisions. In the early 20th century, this act was put in place to regulate TV and radio
01:00:35.800 to ensure Canada's two official languages were both given airtime
01:00:39.560 and cultural diversity was upheld, not in the early 20th century.
01:00:44.780 More like 1970-ish, not early 20th century.
01:00:50.380 Anyway, this was necessary because the number of TV and radio stations was limited
01:00:55.580 and these finite resources needed to be shared.
01:00:59.880 Unlike these two mediums, the Internet is boundless.
01:01:02.480 Anyone who wants to have a presence on the internet can have one.
01:01:06.220 The government doesn't need to regulate which content should be prioritized and which should be demoted.
01:01:12.340 There is space for all.
01:01:14.780 Today, in the internet age, when nearly everyone has access to smart devices and streaming services,
01:01:21.940 it's never been easier for Canadian content creators from all linguistic and cultural backgrounds
01:01:27.140 to reach a global audience with the content they wish to showcase.
01:01:30.260 The gatekeepers like Bell Media, Bell Media is responsible for CTV, TSN and whatnot. Rogers, by the way, Bell is also responsible for their incredibly huge internet and telephone, cellular network across the country. So is Rogers.
01:01:49.440 CBC is the biggest of them all,
01:01:51.640 and chorus entertainment have been removed.
01:01:57.300 The Internet is infinite, and the opportunities are endless.
01:02:01.520 But this is all about to change.
01:02:02.920 The Liberal government...
01:02:04.920 Why do these writers always have to tell us that...
01:02:10.420 I mean, we know Justin Trudeau is...
01:02:12.920 Anyway, the Liberal government is determined to control
01:02:16.120 what Canadians watch and post online. This bill has massive consequences. Bill C-11 will censor
01:02:25.720 what you see. This piece of legislation will effectively make the government a content
01:02:30.980 regulator, meaning it will determine what you can see online. This legislation will break
01:02:37.220 your search bar. Instead of directing you to the things you want to view, it will direct you to
01:02:42.740 the things the government wants you to view bill c11 will censor what you can say homegrown talent
01:02:49.580 and creative content here in canada will no longer succeed based on merit content will be subject to
01:02:55.200 a set of criteria that bureaucrats in ottawa will use to determine its level of canadianness
01:03:00.200 and we still don't know what that is yet
01:03:03.400 this will favor traditional art forms over new creative content cultural minority groups will
01:03:12.560 largely be cut out. In summary, Bill C-11 will not only hinder consumers' ability to view and
01:03:18.260 listen to what they want, it will also harm digital first creators and their ability to
01:03:22.920 succeed and reach global audiences. Content creators from across Canada, along with consumer
01:03:29.520 groups, have been speaking out about the dangers of this bill. Legal experts have called it
01:03:34.100 grotesque overreach of the government. You can bet that this bill will be challenged constitutionally,
01:03:41.260 but that'll take a long time a long time and in the meantime this government's going to implement
01:03:46.360 every last regulation they possibly can when speaking about the bill margaret atwood didn't
01:03:54.160 mince her words when she called it creeping totalitarianism bill c-11 is in its final
01:03:59.720 hours of debate but it's not too late to fight back help us kill it if you're worried about
01:04:04.360 the government controlling what you watch take a moment to reach out to the minister of heritage
01:04:08.580 pablo rodriguez and tell him to keep the u in youtube it only takes one minute to send a one
01:04:17.180 line email and it could make a huge difference on dot pablo dot rodriguez dot pch dot gc dot ca
01:04:23.600 like that's going to make a difference look man i would like to say it's going to make a difference
01:04:30.260 but i don't think it's going to make a difference this guy is is determined to pass that bill into
01:04:36.420 law he is determined what you can do i suppose is is try to get a hold of your senator try to get a
01:04:44.080 hold of your mp especially if that mp happens to be liberal or ndp or block and tell them we do not
01:04:51.640 agree with this bill from the insider this is completely contrary to everything we've heard
01:05:01.080 in the past three years by the way tomorrow is the three-year anniversary of the who declaring
01:05:07.340 a worldwide pandemic march 11th 2020 three long years my friends the pandemic didn't cause
01:05:19.460 a mental health crisis says a surprising new study what what all those suicides
01:05:28.060 nothing to do with mental health new study says that mental health generally did not worsen during
01:05:34.920 the pandemic did that laugh sound too crazy to you like a joker-ish researchers looked at 137
01:05:49.320 studies worldwide to come up with their findings however the scientists found the pandemic
01:05:53.240 negatively affected women and some other groups.
01:05:57.040 What other groups?
01:05:58.620 Some other groups.
01:06:01.240 Published in the peer-reviewed medical journal BMJ.
01:06:04.120 So let's go ahead and see this.
01:06:10.380 There it is there.
01:06:17.340 Data sources include Medline, PsychInfo,
01:06:20.460 oh web of science china national knowledge infrastructure wang fang open science for
01:06:27.400 anything from china is going to be skewed anything from china is going to be skewed my friends and
01:06:36.900 what's the reason for that because china is a totalitarian communist dictatorship oh by the
01:06:43.720 way they just elected xi jinping for his third five-year term by the way the vote in the national
01:06:51.360 people's congress was 2,952 to zero here is
01:07:13.720 2,952 to zero.
01:07:42.680 you want to talk about a whitewash whoa was there anybody even running against him anybody dare
01:07:49.900 to run against the supreme leader 2952 to zero and guess what my friends
01:07:56.440 if things keep going the way they're going you can expect the same thing here in china
01:08:03.460 within five years justin trudeau wins another election this time he wins all 338 seats in the
01:08:11.660 house of commons it's a record by the way the conservative party uh has now been outlawed
01:08:19.900 and so has every other party so of course there's nobody else to vote for you can vote sure you can
01:08:28.480 vote but there's only one candidate that has to be one of the funniest things i have ever seen in my
01:08:37.420 life yeah okay 2,952 to zero oh and by the way this is the last story for tonight letting you
01:08:45.540 guys out early here this comes from out magazine out it's for gay people lgbtq a star-studded
01:08:56.380 benefit concert is being held to fight tennessee's drag band didn't take long for this to happen
01:09:02.600 because this only became law last week in Tennessee.
01:09:05.880 Tennessee's the first state, remember,
01:09:07.740 and I told you guys this last night,
01:09:09.260 the first state to get rid of drag queen shows for children.
01:09:13.280 Not all drag queen shows, just drag queen shows for children.
01:09:19.320 That's all for underage people.
01:09:21.480 You can't go see drag queens.
01:09:23.800 So what's the big problem?
01:09:25.600 Well, I guess there is one
01:09:26.900 because all of these people are coming out in support.
01:09:29.260 Queers, stars, and allies
01:09:31.300 Are coming together for a new benefit concert in Tennessee
01:09:34.360 Hoping to battle the anti-LGBTQ plus bills being passed there
01:09:40.500 Love Rising
01:09:42.640 Is a celebration of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
01:09:49.380 That will take place in Nashville
01:09:50.880 If the pursuit of happiness is being a drag queen
01:09:54.300 Shaking my ass in front of a five-year-old
01:09:56.660 Then I guess we're all wrong
01:09:59.260 it's going to happen in nashville later this month to raise money for lgbtq plus organizations
01:10:06.200 in the state that are fighting against recently passed laws that attempt to ban drag shows and

01:16:11.100 and some of the emails i got today were pretty funny too i love it when when people email me
01:16:21.980 and say shadow i represent a group of angry viewers do you who who exactly is this group
01:16:30.840 and you've been appointed the spokesperson for this angry group have you and we believe that
01:16:36.180 you said blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I mean, the second somebody says that they speak for other
01:16:41.120 people, right, because they're trying to intimidate, I just go, all right, sit down, sit down. No, you
01:16:47.820 don't. You don't. You speak for you. Unless, of course, I see the authorization from this group
01:16:54.160 of angry viewers. But some of the emails I got, pretty choice emails today, guys. Look,
01:17:00.040 i'm not laughing i'm not laughing at you i'm laughing with you i will not be bullied
01:17:08.760 all right this is not going to happen so you can you can call names you can do whatever to me
01:17:18.960 it does not affect me at all guys i spent 35 37 whatever years in radio i got called every name
01:17:25.980 in the book by many people it doesn't affect me it's the same when a hockey player is out there
01:17:31.420 skating around and warm up and and the fans from the home team are yelling you suck and the player
01:17:37.900 just kind of keeps skating like i don't hear it right if you want to make a reasonable suggestion
01:17:45.840 or argument that's different but don't try to intimidate me because that immediately gets
01:17:52.860 deleted and i chuckle every time i do it all right having said that what i will do is
01:18:00.880 is correct my mistakes if i am wrong i will definitely make a point of correcting that
01:18:11.100 mistake and i'll do it at the beginning of the show i will not bury it in the back all right
01:18:18.780 so to that end tentatively chris guy and jeff stone from tacit will be joining the show
01:18:27.800 to discuss more about what we discussed last night tuesday next tuesday night okay all right
01:18:35.620 that's it i hope you have a splendid weekend for everybody who sends supportive messages
01:18:41.840 and lovely, wonderful messages.
01:18:43.440 And of course, excuse me, I love that too.
01:18:48.580 And again, you guys can go ahead
01:18:50.040 and send all kinds of messages to me.
01:18:52.420 As long as you're reasonable and not insulting,
01:18:54.520 I am totally down with trying to get to as many of those
01:18:57.660 as I possibly can.
01:18:59.200 I've always said that since the outset of this show.
01:19:01.780 I will always continue to say that
01:19:03.560 because I love you all.
01:19:04.940 I care about you all.
01:19:06.320 One of the reasons that I do this show
01:19:08.080 is to try and build communities for people,
01:19:10.200 to try and put people together who have been feeling alone and deserted during this past three
01:19:16.040 years as of tomorrow right there are some people especially seniors who live in remote communities
01:19:23.220 who have been called nuts by their own family their daughters and sons even granddaughters and
01:19:29.320 grandsons and how alone and isolated must they feel so what i try to do is i try to put people
01:19:37.480 together that's what the comment section on this show really is i love how you guys talk with each
01:19:42.980 other i think it's fantastic that many friendships and relationships have been formed through the
01:19:48.480 comment section on rumble or facebook or twitter whatever on the show i think that's fantastic
01:19:53.240 again that is one of the reasons that i do this so please instead of bitching moaning complaining
01:19:59.600 like a 15 year old girl or boy about something i've said that doesn't you don't agree with
01:20:06.860 maybe you could be a little bit supportive and maybe you could try to figure out exactly what
01:20:11.680 i'm trying to accomplish here as one of the other tenets of this show is getting to the truth
01:20:17.860 okay it's very important that you understand that people were suggesting to me last night
01:20:26.900 why are you shilling for pierre polyev why are you defending him i said no no no i'm not defending
01:20:31.880 Pierre Polyev and there were several segments on the show last night where I did call Polyev out
01:20:37.360 for not answering the question about the UN sustainable goals there's 17 of them he's been
01:20:43.540 asked twice once by Mark Friesen another time by Rob Primo and both times he said I don't know what
01:20:50.340 that is and I am not shy about bringing that out however if somebody is out there smearing him or
01:20:58.140 his wife with incorrect information then it's up to me to figure it out and i will try to get to
01:21:04.160 the bottom of that and it's not because i support pierre polyev it's because the truth needs to be
01:21:11.920 out there you guys might be thinking he's a globalist chill maybe he is chances are good
01:21:17.060 that he is the whole party is probably they're beholden to the u.n they're beholden to the world
01:21:23.380 economic forum and the globalists and all of that stuff. All politicians are. This country
01:21:29.100 has already signed over to them. It has been for years. It's our job to get them to turn that over.
01:21:37.940 Now, what I have been saying, it was probably better for our movement if the conservatives
01:21:41.740 get in, because at least then we might be able to slow it down, this whole big globalist thing,
01:21:46.660 and buy ourselves some time to get our act together. That's what I have been saying. But
01:21:52.500 So many people go, you're shilling for Polly M.
01:21:56.040 I say, why don't you listen to everything that I say?
01:21:58.340 It's very frustrating when you hear fragments of what I say,
01:22:02.240 because sometimes you misconstrue it to mean the exact opposite of what I've meant.
01:22:08.840 And that's not what this show is about.
01:22:10.860 This is a long form conversational style show, you guys.
01:22:15.280 And you know where my heart is here.
01:22:17.320 and like i said i mean i can take criticism absolutely i can't i've taken criticism my
01:22:27.140 whole life you know as long as it's constructive and well-meaning but don't start slinging shit
01:22:33.900 around because that's not cool it serves no useful purpose it might make you feel better in the
01:22:39.420 moment but then you sleep on it you wake up the next day and go oh my god did i really say that
01:22:46.420 I know that because I've done that myself before.
01:22:49.040 It does not feel good.
01:22:50.860 We're all supposed to be one big happy family here.
01:22:55.180 That's what the point of this is.
01:22:56.680 One of the points of this.
01:22:58.700 So anyway, you guys have a great weekend.
01:23:02.540 I will catch you Monday night, 8 o'clock central for another Shadow at Night live stream.
01:23:06.160 Yes, I do love you all.
01:23:09.040 Don't construe a little bit of irritation with no love.
01:23:13.320 you can still be upset with somebody and like them at the same time it's not black and white
01:23:19.500 there's several areas of gray in between have a great weekend i love you all talk to you monday
01:23:24.680 bye for now
