00:24:56.680Certainly for British Columbia, it was a very short stint, but there are various reasons behind the party, the Conservatives of British Columbia, letting me go or thinking perhaps I would be too hot a potato and obscure some of the issues that were really important for British Columbians.

Well, we saw the media certainly got their fangs out really quick, like they were waiting for the moment with headlines like we're showing on the screen right now.

00:25:40.360You attended freedom protests. We covered many times to many people.
00:25:45.500You are a hero still speaking to this issue that is still relevant considering we haven't dropped our vaccine mandates for health care workers here in British Columbia.
00:25:55.540But I guess the confusion is, what do you think is the surprising moment for the Conservative Party of British Columbia?
00:26:02.640They chose you as a candidate. They had to have known something.
00:26:06.740Did they just not properly vet the situation or something else going on?
00:26:12.840And by that I mean, I think they're even themselves a bit surprised about the popularity.
00:26:16.940And so they have to get enough people behind the scenes to be working for vetting people properly and looking through the material.
00:26:24.780Now, in the last four years, I have a lot of material. I've been out speaking on tour with other doctors. I've done lots of interviews. And there's some details that I don't think they were able to cover. And I doubt that even a well-oiled machine, and I call it a machine because it seems to lack human qualities, like the NDP, even they would have missed.
00:26:45.240And I think when those were brought up by the media in such a what seems to be a coordinated and certainly a very vicious attack on the party and on myself, that they were they were they were surprised and and sort of caught on the wrong foot.
00:27:01.020And I think they decided they had to make a decision quickly.
00:27:03.100And that's why I had such a short candidacy.
00:27:05.340But nevertheless, I think they did it for the best for the British Columbia, because our current government is really terrible and needs to be replaced.
00:27:13.720There's no doubt about that. The bills they put out that are, you know, Bill 31, the new emergency act, which means they can take your house and and your property pretty practically at the whim of the minister who declares an emergency.
00:27:26.460And that emergency could be, you know, that you have a heat dome or something like that, you know, climate change and and and contagion.
00:27:34.720All those things are now being brought into the the Emergencies Act, which puts people in this province in jeopardy.
00:27:40.820That's not even talking about health care because, you know, there's more than a million people in British Columbia who do not have a family doctor.
00:27:46.660The emergency rooms are closing and wards as well.
00:27:49.940And people try to get an ambulance and, you know, they're coming late because they don't have personnel to man them.
00:27:55.080And there's so many different things that this government has done that they just need to be removed.
00:28:00.420And if we could remove them tomorrow, it would be good for the province.
00:28:03.260So I hear you saying loud and clear there needs to be a change for British Columbians.
00:28:09.380So does that mean you're still supportive of the Conservative Party of British Columbia?
00:28:14.420Or now, after you were dropped, have your opinions changed on who's the better alternative?
00:28:20.300You know, I wouldn't have been applied to be a candidate if I didn't have confidence in the party and the platforms and the policies that they're putting forward.
